A nice small shopping centre in the middle of Bodo, lot's of nice little shops, nothing fancy, but great for some little shopping.

Centrum and stores are affordable good ; H&M , Normal and others...

Glasshuset is a medium size shopping cetre located just 1 minute from the Bodø Sentrum Bus Station. Glasshuset is the glass house in English by the way :D. Mostly I go to Eurospar for the groceries and Fram Kino to watch new Movies out there with my friends. Also, it has cool restaurants and shopping places within its 4 stoyered building. Sometimes, people and organizations arranges programes where they need to advertise their prodcuts as its kind a junction where people often travels to and from the Bodø Sentrum..!!

good selection of stores if you don’t want to drive to city nord, you’ll find anything you need but it’s a bit limited if you’re looking to eat or are looking for fashion

Good selection of shops, cafes and restaurants. Also Smith's bar upstairs for a friendly meal and drink. The only cinema in the area is here too.

20 min walk from Hurtigruten terminal, good selection of shops inc Spar supermarket

Cool place for shopping with 3 hours of free parking and still near the center of Bodo. Good sports shops such as XXL or Sportissimo. Good electro shop Elljjøp. You can also each burger, sushi ot grab a coffee at Starbucks even do the shopping in Rema 1000 or buy alcohol at Vinmonopolen.

One of the best mall in Bodo. Probably has 100+ stores n restaurants in and around the area. Lots of options for shopping.

Considering the Northern parts of Norway it's really huge, lots of parking space first 3 hours are free, lots of choice.

Good experience, big enough, various brand and shops together, good accessibility and clean.

A real maze, there are little indications to show you the way, and no map that indicates which shops are where. Although, it's quite nice, there are a lot of stores for clothing, sports, food, care products. There's also a huge supermarket on the ground floor, where you can find basically all you need.

Quite simply and plainly the best dessert I’ve had in my 44 years and 4 months on this planet. It was so delicious (cake, chocolate and macaroon) the at I had to go back the 2nd day to try different flavors of the same order. Lovely ambiance, helpful and energetic French woman working the counter. This is a must stop in Arctic Norway.

Visited this place on my recent visit to Bodø. We had particularly booked a table and set aside time to visit this place. When we reached there, the staff was warm and friendly but we did not get one of the reserved tables. And the staff didn’t really help in that matter. They simply mentioned take whatever seat is available. If so, what was the point of reserving a place prior to visiting. Other than that, the staff explained us the menu really well. We went with brunch option (which is set and cannot be changed apparently), coffee and some cakes along with it. All in all a cozy little cafe vibe place, clean bathroom, and delicious food. We had a good time tasting variety of cake flavour. Probably a good stop if you are visiting the town, and enjoy the variety of cake and chocolate menu that they offer. But don’t bother or worry about prior booking, I don’t think that really helps in any case. Maybe when it’s a busy season. But otherwise it’s okay just to walk in. Also the menu prices are little on the expensive side, so could be good value to go for set brunch option.

Amazing patisserie in the centre of Bodø. Everything is really high quality and delicious. Recommend the lemon merigue croissant and all of the cakes. Coffee is also very good. A must visit in Bodø if you like fine cakes. Warning, for those that like really sweet cakes, this is not the place for you.

Wow. Simply wow. So glad I stumbled upon this patisserie on my last day in Bodø. We tried a variety of pastries, chocolates, and hot drinks. Everything was delicious. A highlight was the impeccably crafted mango mouse pastry (see photo). We ended up buying an additional one to share afterwards. I’m jealous of those in Bodø for having such a lovely bakery and I am already dreaming of returning. This place is a gem and I highly recommend all locals and visitors to visit.

Outstanding cakes! The Coconut was amazing - I regret only getting one. The raspberry pistachio is another piece of pastry art not to be missed. We also had croissants, which were wonderfully laminated and light in both chocolate and sandwich form. 9.7/10

at the time of my visit, they had great stuff for fall and winter. a little pricey but cheaper than the trendy new clothes. there are clothes in all sizes and great fall colors. the music they played at the store was 60’s and 70’s, pleasant place to shop during rain.

Prices on the high end of secondhand but all items discounted based on time in store. Discounts posted behind counter (percentage discount by week put in store as indicated on item price tag - for example, week 42- 60 % discount - note that customer is responsible for bringing applicable discounts to the attention of staff ringing up purchase.) Courteous staff will leave you to explore, but are extremely helpful if you request assistance.

Lovely people, wheter you buy something online or in the store. They help you with deciding, respond fast online, a super store. My bracelet was a bit to small which caused it to not fit, I was helped very professionally. It really is an amazing store with quality products.

WOW, found this place on accident and it was the best crash ever😂😂 The owner and friends were so very nice and made you feel like home. The food was excellent and substitutions were permitted, which I always do. We are from the USA 🇺🇸 and this will be our go-to restaurant everytime we come through Bodo. We visit every few years and can't wait to come back again to enjoy the food and the friendly company; we consider them our new Bodo family!!!!!!❤️

Robbery! 1 coffee + 1 piece of cake : 140 kr (13 USD as of 2023). I'm Norwegian and used to high prices. But this is robbery, pure and simple. Pluss: If you want some extra coffee it's 20 kr. And you don't want to visit the bathroom, because that's another 10. Worst experience ever in Norway.

Was very excited to try Egon on our trip through. I chose the smaller sized steak in the surf and turf. Shrimp were rubber, way over cooked. Steak was perfect (... try cooking the shrimp while the steak is resting so the both come out hot and cooked perfect) Grilled pinapple had skin still on it....not a fan. My brother got the larger peppered steak (no turf) and his steak was over cooked. We both ordered med/rare steak. Both came with a side of fries and broccolini (cooked perfectly). Pear cider was delicious! In the photos it looks very appetizing, very eye catching.....but a let down on consistency and delivery. Staff was very nice, atmosphere was very lovely, water front is gorgeous view but the food didn't reach the expectation. Over all was OK. Not exceptional.

My partner and I were craving pizza, and since our usual favorite places were closed, we decided to try Egon. We arrived 1hr-1.5hr before closing time and ordered the American Ultimate pizza with extra taco meat. Although the pizza looked appealing when it was served, the quality was very disappointing. The base was undercooked and still wet, making it inedible. At first, we thought the sogginess might be due to the generous toppings, but it soon became clear that the dough itself had not been properly baked. Given the price of around 500 NOK, this was an unacceptable experience. Unfortunately, the visit did not meet the standards we expected.

Pork belly starters were very nice. Both had the burgers - Egon & Bacon cheese burger, thought they could have been a bit warmer but they were tasty. All topped off with large beers. Not a cheap meal but, is any meal cheap in Norway,on holiday so who cares.

We had a very good dining experience at Egon. We have been there for lunch twice already this week. We are vegetarians and the menu has good vegetarian options. Yesterday we tried the bruschetta, fajitas, vegetarian burger and milkshakes. Everything was very tasty. The server mentioned that they fry the French fries in the oil which they use fry meat too and can give a side of potatoes instead, which we really appreciated. Today we had the bruschetta, quesadilla and chikn (vegan) Asian bowl for lunch today. Also I asked the server if the chef can make us a vegetarian pasta throwing some veggies and tomato sauce and he obliged and we had a hearty meal. The apple pie was exquisite too. Thank you very much for the servers and chefs who were kind enough to cater to our dietery requirements.

We ate at Egon twice because the food was so good and there were more items we wanted to eat than could be done in one seating. Both meals ended with Egon Hage (Garden)- a most scrumptious dessert - Floyelsmyk vanilje & limekrem, sjokoladej, pistasjcrunch, sjokoladestein og mynte. (Velvety vanilla & lime cream, chocolate earth, pistachio crunch, chocolate stone and mint)

Was lovely to enjoy a meal in here in a post pandemic world ,whilst on football rollercoaster from Scotland... Would highly recommend as the food from the online menu pictures is exactly what you get!! Large portions and excellent quality.. if I were in Bodo again I'd definitely visit!! awesome pub in the center of Bodø on two floors. it feels like you are in a real Irish pub. delicious fries, the burger is ok. definitely worth a try for a quick lunch or if you want to enjoy a great beer in front of the sea

It was fine. Good house made beer. I had the open faced steak sandwich. Family had burgers. Really good fries. We were there shortly after they opened so it was quiet. Bartender was friendly and the toilets were clean. Worth a stop if you are waiting for your ferry.

The casual yet unique atmosphere, with well decorated place and delicious food put this restaurant in my top list in the Scandinavian region. I took the five course meal, which was a great experience. The service was lovely, friendly and very caring.

A nice busy place, with a mix of large parties and single diners, and drinkers outside in the patio area. I had the mixed starters / very nice assortment of whale, ham, cheese, fishball, olives and crisp bread. Had a streak with chips for my main. The steak was disappointing and tasted like liver. Best Burger I’ve eaten in my (short) life.

Some of the most hospitable staff I’ve met in the industry! Damn good house brewed beer on tap as well as proper crafted cocktails with care to create house prepared syrups, infusions, and “super juice” lemons for quality and consistency with sour drinks. The whole place was rented out for the Power Forum conference and they served over 300 people arriving at once without a hitch. Colour me impressed 💯

There were two Spanish staff members working incredibly hard at the outdoor bar, and their service and enthusiasm were outstanding. Please pass along my thanks and regards to them. Gracias!

Interior is cool, relaxed ambiance, friendly and international staff, food is superbly delicious. I ordered hot wings and dirty fries and it was served in generous portions. I asked for a special drink outside the menu and the bartender made me one.Gatsby is a must visit burger bar in Bodø and its location is very central. I also appreciated the very good service I got especially from Jeck and for these reasons I can now call this visit the Great Gatsby experience. ☺️

Honestly, I’m visiting from America and this is one of the best places I’ve ever been for drinks, I got an apple teeny, and an amaretto sour and they were done so well I am a bit tipsy. Earlier people were eating burgers. Also, there’s games in the back and quite a few people going in and out from all different ages. I highly recommend. Thank you so much for having you guys!!! Had an awesome time at Gatsby in Bodø, Norway, last night. The place has a cool vibe and the staff were super welcoming. I went for the Blue Cheese Burger and it blew my mind – easily one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. The cocktails were on point too, each one we tried was a hit. But it wasn’t just the food and drinks that made the night. Gatsby has some fun games that got everyone laughing and competing, which was a blast. And the dancing! The music was great, and the atmosphere just makes you want to get up and join in. Hanging out with the staff was the cherry on top; they were all about making sure everyone had a good time, joining in on the games and dances, making the whole experience feel like a night out with friends. Definitely a spot worth checking out in Bodø. Whether you’re in it for the killer burgers, cool cocktails, games, or just a great place to dance and hang out, Gatsby delivers.

The atmosphere as you walk in is really cosy and warm! We were immediately served by a friendly barista and I ordered a mocca with a solbolle. Library & Concert Hall are okay, but overall Bodø is rather ugly. Almost as though the mindset is: We're located in one of the most beautiful places on the planet & everyone's going to Lofoten anyway, so what do we need to care about our pathways & city architecture...

Visited the library whilst on a cruise which called at Bodo. The building is modern and clean, and open until 9 pm in the evenings, as Norwegians like to read a lot during the dark nights of winter. There is an integral cafe in the building, serving light meals, cakes and hot drinks. We had excellent hot chocolate and coffee, brought to our table by the girl working on the counter. The food looked delicious, but we did not have time to sample it unfortunately. There are toilets in the building also, which are free of charge.

This place unexpectedly captured my heart. After some post-hike pains, I needed a break. What a gift to flip through books while enjoying the welcoming ambiance of the day’s event, a storytelling session with lovely musical interludes. A perfect third space!

Very impressive, and there are so many things to do outside as well, the nature surrounding the museum is magnificent. There are tables to sit, small barbecue grills, lakes, birds and old houses with grass roofs. Such a lovely place to discover new things and to reconnect with the nature.

Very necessary museum. Impressive jekt on display. Please be aware that they offer guided visits (also in English) included in the price of the ticket. Such a pity they don't advertise that in their website (Bodø is not an easy place for the tourist/visitor). My guide was Dafne, who speaks wonderful English and is very knowledgeable. The museum has the most amazing views, particularly in the café (such a pity the coffee they have is filtered). Can only recommend. Very nice design and great ubication.

Wonderful museum in a beautiful location giving great depth into the history, construction and social importance of Jekts. Fun interactive elements keep kids entertained and guided tours are free and led by extremely knowledgeable staff. Huge additional thanks to Eirik and Adrian who made us some incredible traditional Norwegian dishes in the restaurant - a real highlight in what was a fantastic visit. Would highly recommend.

Very interesting museum centred around a real Jekt. Tours take place in English and Norwegian and give a very good overview. Would suggest to go back and do the circuit again at your own pace to really get the most out of it. Lots of interesting exhibits with information in both NO and EN. Definitely worth visiting if you are in the area. Parking right outside.

Supercool, if you're into some local flavor. The art museum had beautiful paintings, and they had a back room with some extremely fun drawings and prints, but the highlight is the ethnographic part, with collections of all sorts of cool historical objects right at hand crammed into a few rooms. Like being in the garage of an obsessive collector. If you go, you'll have the place mostly to yourself. Takes about an hour or so to fully enjoy. Proprietor is super nice.

I would definitely recommend visiting here if you are in the area, it's a place you could easily spend the day just relaxing and taking it all in.
