Girls trip in Port Aransas Texas. We came across this adorable pink bursting shop during our travels. We were greeted with a welcoming smile from the owner...who by the way is as adorable as her store. So kind and a wealth of information. The store is a little gem that makes your heart happy. She has so much and a little something for everyone. This is a must visit shop for sure, we will definitely be back.

I've been to Port A many times and this was the first at Gratitude. I got to the store 30 mins early before opening and spent an hour inside admiring the souvenirs. This is not a typical tee shirt souvenir store. I bought a few items to bring back to my family. I love this store. It is small, organized and not overwhelming. I love the sparkles on the wooden floor. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. A couple who frequented the island stopped by just to say hello to her. Make sure you stop at the store and check it out before leaving the island.

Iconic Port A candy store. This place is amazing. So many options that it take a while to decide. It’s been a part of our family tradition for almost 20 years. It’s cash only but there is a ATM on property. It’s not a cheap place but it’s worth the price. Especially in Port A. Try the Caramel goodness behind the glass.

One of the best candy stores I've been in my entire life!! Literally, there is nothing here that's not worth devouring! From their homemade fudge and caramel and local made salsa, to the unique saltwater taffy flavors and huge varieties of gummies and individually wrapped candies. There is something for everyone here. This is an absolute MUST goto for anyone visiting the island!

We call it the crack house because their pecan caramel is incredibly addictive!! So good! But they have a ton of great candy, made on site fudge and truffles. We stop there every tome we're in town

Two stars for the wide selection of vintage candy. Missing the third star because told at check out that it’s cash only. That’s fine, but let us know on the way in. Signage on the door (or anywhere) would be helpful. Two younger women at counter were surprisingly rude. Missing the 4th star because of the “ugly” service vibe. I bought a variety of truffles - two of each they had on hand. Missing the fifth star because everything tasted like Fabulousa cleaner. The shop itself felt “dusty”. What I sampled was overpriced and subpar. Very disappointing experience over all.

One of my top 3 favorite places in Port A. A must for candy lovers. Excellent customer service and the candy is delicious and fresh. My kids and I LOVE it!! Best fudge on earth and the gummies are always so soft and fresh. Prices are the best here as well. There is another candy store that popped up recently and I do NOT recommend them. Their prices are outrageous and the customer service is majorly lacking. Go to Wintons!! Support local!!!

Lots of great candy! The fudge is delicious. The caramel looks delicious too. A bit pricey but everything is now days. My friend goes there for the maple fudge which we only find it in the off season.

Good selection, but expensive. Some of the girls in my group got over $100 worth of candy. I got some sour gummy candy it was almost $20. Crazy

My favorite beach, love that you can build a fire other beach and drive right up on it in some places! Other areas are so easy to access and pet friendly, it really is the best!

Had a great time at the beach! Even though there were a lot of people, it was still very nice and clean. I really liked that they had showers to rinse off the sand before getting back in the car, and the free parking was definitely a plus. Overall, a really enjoyable spot to spend the day.

Port aransas it is a very fun touristy summer beach town. Though it is also good for spring and fall. Lots of shops, lots of different choices for food. Nice beach and boardwalk.

Clean beach, life guards present on certain days, there’s showers and plenty of parking. My family and I enjoy visiting here.

Water is unclean though I live in North Texas, this place feels like another country one where people seem indifferent to the wider world. Trump flags, confederate flags fly everywhere, and the social climate can feel unwelcoming, with Confederate symbols and open displays of racism not uncommon. Almost no diversity. Go to Padre Island or anywhere else in the USA to fish etc. Even the fish stay away from here. By the way food is over priced etc.

Port Aransas will always be my favorite place in Texas. I spent every sunrise here for a week and every morning was a treat. I miss Port a 💗

Of all the things to forget on a quick trip to the beach for a week I forgot to bring a t-shirt and since I'm down here all the time I didn't want to spend a lot of money or have a t-shirt that was too touristy. The ladies here definitely delivered! I got a really cute t-shirt for 15 bucks, my beach parking permit and although it was near closing time the ladies were really congenial and kind. I can only imagine what these ladies go through with the amount of tourists that come but they are so sweet and definitely friendlier than in a lot of these other tourist trap kind of places here. So if you need knickknacks, t-shirts or other things while you're here at the beach, stop here and don't get drawn into some of the other places! That is if you want a smile and friendly service.

We love the Islander and come here on every visit to Port A. The staff is friendly, the store is clean, there is a wide selection of items and the prices are good. We have been to many beach towns in America and this is our favorite place to grab souvenirs.

Lovely staff great souvenir shop with decent prices and variety of clothing, sweatshirts, sun dresses,cover up options, t shirts, sandals , beach gear and clean restrooms. No swimsuits have to go across the street to their sister store. But other than that they got you covered.

Stopped here on our way back home and loved the photo opportunities they had. The giant wooden sculptures in the front along with the large shell. This was the only store that had unique souvenirs. I enjoyed looking around they had a lot of options to choose from. They had hermit crabs, seashells, sand dollars, picture frames, lots of jewelry, megalodon teeth, magnets, cups/shot glasses, lamps, mirrors, etc. We were greeted when we walked through the doors which is always nice.

Great selection and friendly help. Touristy and fun. Had a photographer with parrots outside. Was great and the kids loved it. Took pics and paid for them. Was very happy and the birds were beautiful and well trained.

MEGA LARGE! Wow this place was filled with every kind of souvenir, trinket, clothing, and other items that you could possibly think of! You definitely have to hit it up and look around, giver yourself 30 min to just walk around the place 😆

Absolutely the best customer service I’ve ever experienced at any tackle shop. Randall was super helpful in getting us set up to have a great time fishing while on vacation. He took the time to also get my son (13) set up with his first personal rod and reel that he purchased. He asked questions of what and where my son wanted to fish and directed him to several options. He went over all the options in detail coming back to a modestly priced combo rather than playing on my son’s excitement for a high end sale. He stated that while there may be better combos for specific fishing styles, the one he ultimately selected would be the best all around rod and reel combo without spending a ton. I cannot recommend this place more and will be back every time we visit Port A! Thanks Randall!!

Bradley was awesome I believe was his name. But overall best service and decent prices for the island I shopped around and they when on everything you need to go fishing. Ask them any question and they are happy to answer it for you!!! Good luck fishing if you read this and go to island tackle when you get to port aransas.

Randall was very helpful in assisting us get our rods repaired. I bought a new one and he added all the necessary parts so I was ready to fish when I got to the pier. I am not very knowledgeable in this area but he took the time to make sure that we had everything. I caught a big one on my new LUCKY rod!!

A very clean store offers a wide variety of tackle and bait. i will say I was disappointed with the frozen shrimp that we purchased it. Almost seemed to be like shrimp that had gone bad and was refrozen. Or at 1 point, we're thawed and refrozen, again, ended up having some dark coloration to it. This, of course, is, after the ice had melted, and I was able to take a better look at it. Had I known, I would have driven to a different location.I had in mind for a bait. other than that, though, it's a decent shop to stop at for fishing, bait or fishing tackle.

Randal was awesome! Came to him for my birthday fishing trip and was not disappointed! He was very helpful and informative about the items in shop and able to give tips to catch some nice fish! He has everything you need to catch whatever you wanna catch. He also offers services such as fishing rod and reel repair and reel line spooling. 10/10 my favorite shop to go to for now on. Will definitely be back next time!

Absolutely amazing!!! One of a kind art from local artists and you can purchase it all and take lessons as well! Friendly staff. I took my teenage granddaughter and her friend and they were amazed! Highly recommend this as part of your beach vacation!!!

The art was fantastic! I wanted to take so many pictures but they do not allow you to take pictures or video which I understand. It’s private art very beautiful place very well lit many beautiful pieces we wanted to buy the whole place!

I am an art junkie while vacationing and love to collect local art so I definitely did not pass this up. There was a very nice lady and gentleman running it, they were very nice letting me sit and sift even offering wine. I definitely spent more than I needed to but not as much as I could have because there were so many great pieces. I did notice that they had community art area so it is really cool they do classes because we like to support local. The small note card sized prints ended looking great in frames that we got from Hobby Lobby, it was 3 cards per frame with matting.

The Art Center of Port Aransas is a beautifully curated gallery featuring local and international artists living in the area like myself 🤍 Most artwork is inspired in the natural surroundings of the area, you will find landscapes, birds, fish, and abstract pieces inspired in those subjects. Coming in the gallery makes a great day activity for all the family, kids will love to look at fun art, parents will love the amazing photography, and if your walls are all occupied, there is gorgeous wearable art, hand made one of a kind jewelry, statement pieces and other small souvenirs. Great place! Lots of very talented artists on display. Prices are quite low to quite expensive, so something for everyone’s budget.

I attended their First Friday event in November, 2018. It was a nice occasion with a very good turnout. There was a lot of variety to see: paintings, sculpture, stained glass, jewelry, photography. I saw several pieces I really liked. There were snacks and drinks (wine, punch, and a mixed drink) and live music which was nice. I went with my friend and we both had a very nice time.

I love Ragdoll! Some of my best pieces come from here, they are all so friendly and have the cutest new stuff all the time! Anyone in town visiting should definitely stop by!

Rag Doll is a must stop for us every time we come to Port A. For the past 10 years we’ve come to shop here. They always have the most unique fashion on the island and very affordable prices. In addition the service has never been less than exceptional. If you’re in Port A take the time to stop in and I’m sure you’ll find something that will make you smile and feel like a million bucks.

I love this boutique! It has sandals, comfy shoes and sandals, workout clothes, swimsuits, lingerie and great selection of clothing. I’m in my fifties and my daughter is in her twenties and we always find something to wear. I look forward to coming into the Ragdoll boutique each time I’m in Port A. I can’t find a place like this inside the loop in Houston.

The store itself is beautifully arranged, and its offerings are thoughtfully curated. However, the environment felt somewhat reserved and formal, which might not align with the expectations of visitors enjoying the playful and relaxed surroundings outside. For many it’s definitely worth exploring but we didn’t get a super welcoming vibe, especially for families and younger shoppers. However, there were lots of unique items and pretty things.

Pretty neat little store. Lots of items to browse and choose from. They have clothing, home decor, candles, jewelry and lotions and such. Great place to find a unique gift for that special someone.

Horrible ‘resale’’ shop. Clothes on the rack (Johnny Was) for over 4-5 years. Tried selling the same junk in La Grange, TX…failed Hauled all that junk to Durango, CO where it also didn’t sell, huge failure. I guess the owner thinks the customers in Port A have extra money to spend on old merchandise. Now it’s all back in Port A with a hint of cigarette smoke since the owner smokes like a train!!! Go to any other place in Port A. Overpriced, old merchandise, sloppy dirty store and an owner who could care less about you or her employees. If you know Ann, you know what I mean.

We have been coming to the Island for years now and Roam Home is always a must stop. Their store is absolutely beautiful, they have so many awesome treasures. The ladies that work here are wonderful too! 💗 They are always so welcoming and pleasant to talk too! Yesterday as we visited, one of the ladies was so lovely talking to my son about their crystals and told us to stop by Roam to see the giant amethyst crystals! We did and they were beautiful! ( My son is very shy but loves stones. I really appreciate their kind vibes and making us always feel so welcome! ) Thank you for always being so patient with all the Tourist that come through your doors! Cute little store in Port A. next to the pink ice cream parlor. Great gift selection, beautiful home decor, and friendly customer service. We were looking for a specific piece of jewelry and the owner called two other stores to help us locate it. Limited hours, though, so make sure you plan a time to go--it's worth a look!

I love this place! I recently visited Port Aransas and purchased a beautiful Nepalese bracelet from this boutique. Certainly one of the cutest shops on the island! B.K. was so friendly and helpful and up for conversation. I definitely recommend stopping here.

Don't be fooled by the exterior. It used to be a resale shop. Not anymore. There's a great collection of gifts, boutique clothes and oh so much more. This is a top 3 shop for this Port A loving chick! Drop by and check it out! Lilly is a sweetheart and will treat you like family.

This is a well curated collection of clothing and home goods. I was there last Saturday, Nov 22st. Although there was a trunk show featuring gorgeous face masks by Coco + Jace, the only person wearing a mask was the C + J rep. I asked sales personnel if they would wear masks and at first, they said no. Finally, after I made it clear that I was there to spend money, they obliged, but the whole experience was awkward, and I really did not finish shopping but paid for what I came for and left. I so wish that businesses in this Texas hot spot would show customers and themselves the courtesy of following Covid protocols.

drove all the way from Corpus today to try and spend money here, but I guess they don't want people's business considering they are now closed on weekends... don't bother trying to come here if you work a normal 9-5 job. I updated their hours on Google so no one else has to make the mistake that we did, although it seems like something they should have done themselves.

Beautiful Coastal Furnishings

We had an amazing time at the Seafood and Spaghetti restaurant in Port Aransas! It’s the perfect spot for families — relaxed, welcoming, and super kid-friendly. The portions are huge, so come hungry! Every dish was full of flavor — from the seafood pasta to the fried shrimp, everything tasted homemade. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Great food, great service, and a great atmosphere for the whole family.

We started off with chicken tortilla soup and a salad It was good. For our appetizer, we had the stuffed mushrooms. I don’t recommend they had no flavor and it was mostly mushroom . We both had the seafood feast which was very good. We really enjoyed the boiled shrimp. Our service ok they were pretty busy.

This place is so good! You get very good portions and the food is delicious! We also got the truffle fries for an appetizer that were amazing! The staff was all very friendly from the host,servers and bussers! I will definitely be back! Thank you!!

This is a tough one- some things (like the Italian Food) were great. The calamari appetizer was huge. It did cost $19.99 but I've never seen such a generous serving in an appetizer, and it was delicious and served with ranch and marinara. We also had Ahi Tuna Poke @ $22.99 both were shared with the table . Three gentlemen in our party had lasagna. It looked delicious and all three said it was very good. One of my grandsons ordered Fettuccini Alfredo w/Shrimp $28.99 My daughter-in-law ordered the Chicken Parmesan, but wanted Alfredo sauced fettuccine instead of spaghetti with marinara. $22.99 -the substitution was $4.99. This is when things got dicey as they brought her the dish as described in the menu, not how she ordered it. They immediately returned it to the kitchen. About 10 minutes later, they came out with a dish of fettuccine Alfredo-she dug in and tasted her first bite, and it was cold-so back it went again. Thankfully, the third time was the charm, and the fettuccine Alfredo was edible. Sadly, my daughter-in-law had become frustrated. She was really not able to enjoy her meal so took most of it home. Since I had suggested this place, I felt pretty bad as well. I had Joe's Fish Plate- a Perfectly grilled piece of mahi mahi with an intriguing blue cheese sauce. A small serving of Pasts w/ chopped Shrimp, bacon, & asparagus sauce . $32.99 We also ordered a four piece order of garlic toast, which was $4.99. All of the above meals came with either soup or salad. If you wanted both soup and salad, there would be an additional charge of $4.99. Most of us ordered the homemade chicken noodle soup which the server highly recommended. Two of us ordered salads and both dressings were delicious. I suspect they were homemade. Our server after quite a long delay before taking our orders did a good job once the meal had been served . It felt like they didn’t have adequate staff for the volume of diners. There was a woman wandering around between the table, stopping every now and then to talk to a patron- she didn’t happen to come by our table, but I do think that that’s a positive as I suspect she was a manager. I honestly don’t know if we would come back, but I really hate to judge a restaurant on a one time dine in so we’ll see . Meanwhile, I would recommend coming early if you’re going to dine in here as it’s quite a large property and they are serving many guests.

Great place! Had the truffle pizza, with arugula and fresh mozzarella, and you can tell it is made intentionally. The crust is one of the best I’ve had, great texture and flavor, and the truffle is not overwhelming; it complements the rest of the pizza. Also had the crab stuffed mushrooms, and they were good but pretty wet (of course).

Second time and all of the wins of the first visit. Blue Moon was available for the hubs-Big win! And I had the Port A SeaBreeze. Perfect and refreshing! We split a crab cake and it did not disappoint. House salads were just right-loved the homemade ranch dressing. Chef’s special blackened fish was with the cream sauce was delish as well as the coconut shrimp. Finishing with Key lime cheesecake was just right!! Can’t wait to come back. Angela was a treat as she served us well! (Sorry! Lost the photo of the chef’s special)

Before I start let me say it was a VERY busy weekend in Port A. That said, our wait was long so make reservations EARLY if going on a Saturday night during the summer. Our waitress did a good job. We ordered and got our salads quickly. Our food took a little longer than we expected since we had a toddler with us. I ordered grilled fish tacos. The sauce was good and the fries were great. The fish was extremely skimpy, see photo. I showed the waitress and she offered to bring me another piece of fish and says they use a whole fish fillet on the three tacos. Didn't seem as though they did. My husband ordered the shrimp tacos. Each taco had TWO medium shrimp, TWO, for a whole taco. My DIL ordered the fettuccine Alfredo. The sauce was "watery" is how she described it. My son ordered the catch of the day. It was red snapper and overcooked. It came with broccoli, squash, corn and potatoes. None of it was well seasoned. The garlic bread seemed to be a sourdough and it was really good. Definitely worth ordering for sure. We ordered the fish and fries from the kid's menu for the toddler. We ALL drank water and our bill, without the tip, was $112. It might have been not as good as other reviews due to being so busy, but for the price, we were disappointed.

Our food was good. We were a party of 6 with different entries. The grilled chicken was good, the crab sliders were a little too mushy, and the buffalo chicken sandwich was so big it was impossible to eat. The fish plate and tacos were good. Overall the food was okay. We had a 50 minute wait but once we were seated service was quick. We did not have a long wait for our food. Our server was very good. It was my first visit to FINS. I have had better. The parking is a problem but there is an overflow lot behind Stripes. It would be helpful if that were posted somewhere in their parking lot.

Fins is an excellent choice if you’re looking for a high-quality meal in Port Aransas. The table-side service is attentive, and the food is prepared with great care. Sure, you can find a cheaper meal elsewhere, but when you consider the cleanliness of the restaurant, the professionalism of the wait staff, and the pride they put into both the quality and the portion sizes, it’s worth every penny. Highly recommend!

I had such a great experience at Fins! The skinny onion rings were light, crispy, and absolutely addictive. I went with the Port A Burger, and wow—it was a knockout. Juicy and perfectly cooked, topped with fried jalapeños, bacon, cheese, and an awesome spicy sauce that tied it all together. Every bite was loaded with flavor. Our server, Jamie, was fantastic—warm, friendly, and attentive without ever feeling rushed. The whole place had a clean, relaxed, and welcoming vibe that made it easy to just enjoy the meal. Between the excellent food, perfect service, and great atmosphere, this was one of those meals you walk away from already planning your next visit. Loved it!

The poorboy sandwich was really good. Service was excellent. The sweet potato fries were delicious. Only thing was the breading on the fried Mahi Mahi, it was really thick. A lighter batter would have been tastier.

We ordered our food there it was fantastic. Our waitress was amazing. Orders for taking quickly and served quickly. Order was accurate. Atmosphere was very very nice. Little too warm to sit outside on the deck.

Enjoyed the location (sat outside by the marina). Friendly service. We got grilled shrimp and creole mahi-mahi (it's topped with gumbo). Both were delicious. Loved their fried calamari (not chewy/rubbery).

We went for lunch; it was a little pricey, but it’s totally worth it. The fish and shrimp were super fresh, and the burgers were great. The kids loved their meals, and the atmosphere was definitely enjoyable. We are going back when we visit again; I highly recommend it!

There wasn’t a wait, our party of 5 was seated outside right away. Our waitress was kind, but looked frazzled. She took our drink and appetizer order. We weren’t ready to order our main dish at that time, and she didn’t come back to take our order for about 20 minutes. My husband ordered a margarita on the rocks, and when he got the drink he found a hair in it. He went up to the bar to tell her and she just took the drink & dumped it out, then made him a new one. No apology for that. We got our food, and again, my husband found a hair on his French fries. That ruined our dining experience, the rest of the food wasn’t terrible but we were now on the lookout for any more hair. As for atmosphere, the music kept cutting in and out and the fans weren’t blowing much air around.

The food was great. We had the gumbo and the strawberry salad. Gumbo is hard to make with that perfect roux. They aced it. Perfect amount of spice and on point. Salad wash fresh with a homeade dressing that made it crisp and clean. Service was great. Prices were fair. Plenty of parking and bike friendly.

This place came highly recommended but I personally would not eat here again. The crab boil was 100%, the tuna was okay. The atmosphere didnt really have one. Just a crowded restaurant and busy. Online says they are gluten knowledgeable but that wasnt the case. It was not horrible but it was not great. They did have local art work for sale and that was super cool!

This was my second visit to the restaurant, and both times I’ve loved the food, service, and atmosphere. They offer both indoor and outdoor bars, and the wait staff is always prompt, attentive, and courteous. The environment is spotless, open, and inviting, with a fun island and beach vibe that makes the experience even better.

My Husband Had the Gumbo And a ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT the spice was a little Hottter Then He Likes but it Did NOT Bother him not one bit!! because he ate it all up. 1 Of Our Friend Had surf and turf is steak is phenomenal the shrimp or even the Mungus with Plenty FLAVOR!!! His Wife and I Shared Shrimp Boil It Was Awesome. Wait Staff Was Fantastic. Hats off to the owner

We had lunch at the Trout Street Bar & Grill. I ordered off the lunch menu. I had the Fish Tacos and select the local caught fish, no idea what it was. Tasted like low end fish sticks. I think maybe the taco was microwaved. While it was warm it was dry and hard. I honestly think a McDonald's fish sandwich would have been better. My wife said her food was pretty good. She had Gumbo & a small salad. So good luck Oh, the service was excellent.

Came here with my wife on a long weekend. I ordered an old fashioned; she ordered a blueberry house special drink. The old fashioned arrived and it was the smallest old fashioned I’ve ever seen. Her drink was really good. We had the crab cake as an appetizer, it didn’t have much crab flavor to it. The entrees were excellent - I had the shrimp sampler and all four types of shrimp were delicious. Wife enjoyed her fish entree as well. Dessert was an off-menu peach cobbler. They warned us that they had no ice cream to top it, which is odd since there’s a grocery store just down the road, but okay - let’s try the cobbler. It was uninspired - some peach, some crust, but no real cinnamon/sugar flavor. Was excited for the reservation, but disappointed in the results for the price paid.

Atmosphere was wonderful, we love Port A & the water! Had several servers checking on us, thought that was nice until guests who came in wayyy after us got their appetizers before us, guess thats the illusion! Might have better service is servers stuck to one table at a time. Hardly seen our server. Called it to a servers attention then got ours super hot, with no warning that they obviously forgot about us then rushed it righttt out. Crab cake was super good! After over an hr finally got our food, after we told them just make it to go. Drinks had a peanuty taste?? Also was nice that margaritas weren't with sweet and sour but not sure how they were the best around, in a basic glass for $10. Definitely dont recommend them unless you are rich with plenty of time to waste & weird tastebuds. Got the blackened redfish, was charged extra for blackened when it was an option for how u wanted your fish? Taste raw and burnt at the same time, definitely nothing special for the price or portion. Side said veggies, got rice and gumbo that wasnt even the best or even close. Kids chicken strips, 2 orders, came with 2 strips in one, 3 in the other, fries were not good at all, not even sure how u mess up homemade fries? We love to tip good, as we are locals and understand tourist work, definitely didnt get to do that here. Do not recommend when you are hungry and just trying to have a nice dinner.

For the price, food was okay. BEWARE: they charge a credit card fee and a “mixed drink” fee. We did not find out until the final bill that you get charged for these items ($6 for a $150 meal and $3.46 for a $12 mixed drink). Would have liked to know about the credit card fee ahead of time and wished they had just charged more for the cocktail instead of nickle and dining us. We compared receipts from other restaurants and did not get charged for these items anywhere else.

What started out as a very pleasant dinner with a wonderful server by the name of Devin changed at the end of the mea,, but kitchen messed up our meal. Burger was ordered to be cooked medium but was served well done. We requested bacon which was an add on charge but it wasn't added on to the burger. Didn't realize until we got the charge. Then a slice of cheese was supposed to be free with the way it was presented on the menu, but we were charged. We didn't realize until after bill was paid. Spoke with manager by front door about extra charges and she took a tone that was not pleasant for a manager to take. My sister started to explain and I said let's just go, we aren't getting anywhere. I have been here before and have always enjoyed the food and atmosphere but this manager has put me on pause on going back again.

Upon arrival, my wife and I were warmly greeted by the hostess (I'm sorry I didn't catch her name), who seated us outside, per our request, at a table optimal for watching the sunset. We appreciated her smile and genuine interest in making sure we had a great experience. Our server, Jeffrey K., was the best. He was patient, kind, funny, and very knowledgeable about the menu. Trout Street is lucky to have him as a server. We ordered drinks, the fries appetizer, and split the Gulf shrimp sampler. We had a wonderful evening, and while the food was excellent, it was the kindness and thoughtfulness of the staff that made the night truly special.

This was our favorite spot in North Padre! Fresh, beautiful entrees and sides like the fish and shrimp po boys, and amazing clam chowder. Sweetly staff all around and just a really clean and comfortable place (especially compared to some of the other spots we had the great misfortune of eating at - ahem, DOCS 🙄). Love this place!!!!!!

This place is absolutely amazing - even when it's in the 90s and the humidity is in the 70s. Way too hot and very little shade. We saw Ibis, Stilts, Coot, Laughing Gulls, Herons (the tri-color!), Gallinules, Roseate Spoonbill, Egrets, and lots of other birds. There weren't too many folks there so it was nice. It is right next to the landfill (was it built on the landfill?!), so a little stinky - but amazing. I would make it a place to go if you are a birder. If you just want to walk it has nice wooden piers and paths. A calm place in the backwaters!

Great views of wet lands and birds Cranes, Herons, Pelicans. No dogs allowed, even if being carried dogs are not allowed on boardwalks. Per their website: The following is prohibited by City ordinance within the Port Aransas Nature Preserve: hunting, fishing (allowed only in the ship channel), shell or seed collecting, camping, pets, and alcohol.

The birding center is a nice place to quietly observe the birds, take pictures, observe, and reflect. I recommend planning a visit to anyone looking for a unique activity in nature. You can spend 15 minutes or hours depending on your level of interest. There is no entry fee, but donations are welcome via a small box located at the start of the walking area. The only thing to be aware of is that the center is located right next to the waste water management so there is a smell. It was not overwhelming for me, but it might be for some.

This is always the highlight of my trip! A visit to the birding center. Its just stunning! The variety of winter birds in particular. Oh! Those gorgeous white pelicans! The variety is stunning! And we got to enjoy the monarch migration to port Aransas last week. The board walk out into the wetland area, raised decks for additional viewing.

This is a beautiful natural preserve at the end of a long curving road to the right of the ferry landing at Aransas Pass. It is a good place for birders. I saw a pelican, flamingo, egrets, ibis ducks, barn swallows, and great tailed grackles. There are two long boardwalks with observation towers. It is a peaceful place to take pictures.

Tons of birds and other wildlife. See if you can spot Boots the Gator!! Its definitely much longer than I was expecting, but we had a blast and have already been back several times.

Absolutely amazing place for bird lovers! In addition to many well familiar birds, I saw a Flamingo and Ani!

Food was served warm with barely any seasoning on it. Definitely was not worth the price. Mike is a good waiter that was the best part of eating there. I would normally give a place like this two stars because of the sorry food and high price. Definitely not worth a 30 minute wait. I've had better fish tacos at Long John silver's.

We were down to Port A for a week. We love the food at La Playa so much, we ate there Tuesday AND Thursday! My absolute favorite is Crab Enchiladas. Ate them both nights. Our Thursday server, Sally was exceptional! The Margarita went down just right. When we visit, La Playa is dinner at least once. The arrive an hour early to put your name on the seating list and returning before 5 is well worth it, as is cash only. When we first started eating there, you could get on the list about 15 mins early. Too many know about this gem!

Love everything about La Playa. This came as a recommendation and we love a good fajita plate with a house marg. Wednesday night at 6pm had AN HOUR wait so just beware— the wait was worth it. They are very high tech and have a list of names and will yell your name out the door when your table is ready:) we drove around the island on golf cart for an hour and came back to being third in line. Great business model honestly, they know what they’re doing. When seated there were waters, chips and salsa waiting for us. $9 for a 20oz margarita (mind blown) and less than $40 for a trio fajitas plate for 2!? In what world!?? Anywho, go here!!

La Playa does not open until 5 pm and they do not take reservations. It’s very casual cantina style restaurant but you’ll see some people dressed in nice shorts and button down shirts. At 3:45 pm they put a clipboard on the door where you write your name and then leave or walk across the street and kill an hour at the souvenir shop. But you have to be back a little before 4:45pm and wait for your name to be called and seated. The food is good. I had the crabmeat enchiladas ($17.99) and the wife had the shrimp stuffed enchiladas de Camerones ($16.50). Both dishes were good. Our tab for two with one margarita and two Mexican beers was about $76.00 before tip.

We've been going here for 5 years and my husband's first wish on the island is to hit La Playa! Margaritas are top notch, lil pricey but comes with a kick! The pablano wrapped in fajita is my favorite! Only drawback is it's super small. They put a clipboard on the door at 4pm. When they open at 5 they do down the list until the restaurants full. After that it's an hour or more wait. Oh and cash only! ATM on site though.

We've been loyal customers of La Playa for over 20 years, but our recent visit was deeply disappointing and has us questioning whether we’ll return. While the food remains flavorful and high-quality, we noticed a significant increase in prices paired with dramatically smaller portion sizes. On top of that, several menu items were already unavailable during the opening hour—on a busy weekend. We also feel that space was overwhelmed by large parties. For a restaurant of this size, it might help to limit party sizes to six or fewer to maintain a comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere for all guests. We truly hope La Playa can return to the standards that earned our loyalty in the first place.

Excellent service and delicious food. We ordered the grilled black drum with crabmeat, grilled vegetables and rice. Every bite was beyond delicious! Your drink was constantly topped off as well as your chips and salsa. We will definitely be back!

Went to this bar and grill and had an awesome experience. We were seated right away, the service was quick, and the wings were huge and packed with flavor. Definitely a spot I’d come back to when I’m craving good food and chill vibes.

The wife and I had Dinner at Stingrays on Friday evening. The atmosphere is very casual. Maybe 10 tables, plenty of bar seating, pool tables in separate area, about a dozen tv’s for sports. Very beachy atmosphere. Good selection of craft beers, and good choices on the menu. Pizzas looked good but we ordered the Cabo Tacos ($14.99) for the wife, I got the Chicken Bites ($10.99), and the Spinach Artichoke Dip ($10.99). The Cabo Tacos, 3 to an order, were very good. So were the Chicken Bites (I chose habanero mango sauce) and they were very good but the order was kinda small. I also had one of the wife’s Cabo Tacos and we shared the Spinach Dip. As a bonus Land Sharks are $2 on draft and Blue Moons are $6.50. All in all a good spot to hang out, eat, watch some sports and let the kids shoot some pool. We will be back. Oh and our server Stephanie is the best!

We got the trio app: fried jalapeño, fried mushrooms, cheese curds. They all were really good. Then we ordered the chicken and bacon ranch pizza. It was 😋 but would have liked the crust a little crisper. Over all the food was great. The staff was alittle cold at first but took good care of us. Played pool at the end which is free just leave a DL for the balls.

Found this place randomly and decided to stop in (mostly convinced by the car on the bar image) and very happy we did. Down visiting for a weekend getaway with our 10 year old pups and boy did we get the warmest welcome ever! Family run place with good food, amazing Pina Coladas, kitchen staff that spoiled my dogs, and addictive buffalo shrimp for the husband. Go off the main strip. Eat here. Pardon the pictures. It smelled to good to wait to take a good one before taking a picture 🤣 (And enjoy the bathroom murals - my husband and I each had to take pictures to show each other. They really are very pretty)

Great place to hang out. The only sports bar on the island. The staff is perfect and inviting. I wish they had a gluten-free option 😞. However, the do have corn tacos. The food is really good. The pork tacos are awesome. The chicken tacos, not so much. The pizza is perfect. I'd definitely make it point to stop here when you visit.

They had empty tables but wouldn't seat us. Was told the food is great but we didn't get tontry it. Ended up driving allbthe way bsck to our usual spot near Corpus.

They only accept cash, and wait times can vary depending on when you visit—but it’s absolutely worth it. (ATM Is available in store) The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the ice cream is incredibly delicious, and the staff couldn’t be friendlier. Plus, the walls are decorated with photos of their dogs, which adds such a charming and personal touch! I really loved seeing their dogs pictures and the other decor was all so cute.

This little place is so cute! I love the decor, atmosphere and desserts! Fantastic coffee shakes, warm brownie sundae was amazing! Cheesecake with strawberry drizzle was delish!! Bring your appetite because nothing is small, you definitely get what you pay for! Cash only, they have atmosphere, if you don't like to carry cash. 2thumbs high, highly recommend!

Awesome spot to get a cold treat and hang out after a long day on the beach- s which is what we did! Bala split is massive so I recommend only off your splitting it. Their hot fudge Sundays are also awesome. Great atmosphere. Your served by teenagers so the indifference and moodiness and lack of love out attention is to be expected. But the ambiance and great desserts and treats makes it all worth it!

If you want ice cream - this is the place to go and has been a round quite a while! They only take cash or Venmo however. There is a ATM inside to get cash however it wasn’t working for me when I tried so glad they accept Venmo. Shakes, ice cream and desserts, it’s a great place to try if you’ve never been.

The ice cream was good . I had the brownie Sunday my kids got a regular ice cream cone. The place looked nice , cute the staff was nice . We got there 30min before closing .

Cash only. They had several Blue Bell flavors to choose from and regular or waffle cones plus various types of sundaes they make. We didn't see anyone get a sundae, but it looked like those started at about$9-10. It's pricey for just regular ice cream, IMO. Four of us got single scoops, two with cones, two just in the throw away paper bowls and it was $21, before you consider the tip jar. They were nice but next time we'll just hit the grocery store for ice cream.

The Key Lime Sundae was amazing! It was enough for two but I’m throwing hands if anyone tries to share my sweets.

Whataburger is my husband’s favorite burger, so we came in for a burger. There was no one in the store. We were greeted by the cashier who was efficient, and seemed to be very knowledgeable, but not too friendly. She mentioned the survey on the back of our receipt after we placed our order. We went to sit while we waited we noticed the store lobby was unkept. The tables were not cleaned, despite no customers. To the cashiers credit when she brought our food it was wonderful and she immediately cleaned all of the dirty tables and chairs and floor.

The food was prepared to our liking. The young lady that took our was super friendly and needs a raise.

Very disappointed in this Whataburger!! It was clearly printed on the receipt that I had ordered a biscuit with bacon, egg, cheese and was given a sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit. My friend and I both ordered food. Both of our pkgs of hashbrowns were barely warm. The Mgr, Matthew, did however offer to replace it but we were only driving through.

Came to Port A for the day before leaving back to San Antonio we wanted to stop here for dinner. Cashiers looked miserable like they’d rather be anywhere but there, when we received our burgers they were cold and the cheese wasn’t even melted on, it looked like they just slapped a piece of cheese on top of the meat and sent it out. The buns/toasts were cold. The only part of the meal that was hot and fresh were the fries. Our order took so long to come out amongst other people who were also waiting for their food. It actually wasn’t packed when we came it was busy but not chaotic enough to wait so long for the food to come out. The drive thru was held up as well. We don’t really like to complain but our order almost came out to $40. That isn’t cheap. Just disappointed for the food we got and service provided. Next time we’ll just go to the Whataburger they have outside of Port A. Do better y’all. People pay too much money for crap food and horrible service.

Me, my wife, and the in-laws went during the night. The food was good and all, but the service was somewhat poor. They gave us our food to go when we told them we were dining in. And then they forgot to give us apples in our apple cranberry salad. Even in the smallest details such as dressing and forks were not provided correctly. These things need improvement.

Cool dive bar. A must see while in Port A. Great pizza and cold drinks. Outdoor seating out back with the famous belt sander races. We had the large 14” Gaff pizza loaded.

Absolutely loved this place. It’s what us Aussies call a Dive Bar. Great, cheap, cold beers, dart board, pizzas and full of locals. We were made to feel so welcome and had drinks bought for us both times we Went. If you want to know a place go to the local bar and this is the one!

10/10 must visit in Port Aransas. Most welcoming place we've found on our travels, Olivia was real attentive, topping up our drinks, making sure we had everything we needed. Extremely welcoming to 2 Brits. Please try this place out. The pizza is amazing.

There are places that don’t simply exist — they call. The Gaff was one such place. I first saw it while making my way down Beach Street, the sun slanting low, the salt air alive with the easy promise of Port Aransas. It caught my eye not for any polished gleam or neon boast, but for something quieter…truer. It looked like a dive bar, perhaps the perfect dive bar, the kind of place where stories go to rest and wake again, better for the telling. After the day’s adventures on the sand, we found ourselves back at that very door, drawn as if by gravity. Inside, we perched at the end of the bar and were met by Leah…her smile warm as a lantern in fog. She brought us cold beers and a small pizza she curated herself…extra cheese, the right kind of greasy magic…and even a few morsels for our traveling companion, Lizzy the dog, who approved heartily. Then came Jimmy, the kind of local soul who carries a thousand tales in his laugh. Between sips and stories, we learned the history of this little corner of the world — tales of storms and sunshine, of a town that endures. All the while, David Allan Coe hummed from the jukebox, his rough voice the perfect counterpoint to the sea breeze sneaking in through the door. Later we returned, unable to stay away, and met Olivia…a barmaid with quick wit and a spark in her eyes that hinted at a thousand untold chapters. Open Mic night was in full sway, the beer still cold, the laughter still easy, and the island beyond seemed to sleep while The Gaff stayed awake, alive, glowing in its own small way against the dark. I’ve been to finer places, sure. But few as real. The Gaff isn’t just a bar…it’s a heartbeat. — Five stars, though stars feel a poor measure for something that feels this alive.

Great food and atmosphere, but the best part is the live music. The guitarist was amazing. Played requests and did a great job.

The food was way too overpriced for the amount of food served and the quality of it, for instance the pasta Alfredo was bitter. I do have to say that the atmosphere is nice. You need reservations if you want to sit inside but the patio is first come first serve, which is what we did. Servers were very friendly.

What a great find! Tired of the same old fried food, overpriced drinks establishments, we were excited to find a place that offered upscale food, in a comfortable setting, at reasonable prices. We chose to dine outside, ordered the fish of the day (Redfish) which was prepared just perfectly, and also ordered the blackened Mahi Mahi tacos. Are service was exceptional and we loved how the chef didn't overseason and cover up the natural flavors of our fish. Simply Delicious and it was a simply beautiful evening. We'll definitely be back!

Our second time here and we decided this place is our favorite! I had the shrimp and grits and my husband had the Mahi. Try the Lime in the Coconut drink! Wow! The atmosphere here is so pleasant. We really enjoy it. We highly recommend and will keep coming back.

Frankly, I expected a better meal for the price I paid. I ordered a seafood plate, which looked and tasted like fast food with a bunch of Frenchfries and deep-fried seafood. Fish, oysters, shrimp, and vegetables seemed fresh but lack flavor.

This place was amazing! We celebrated a birthday here and the staff were so accommodating and great! They food was on point, steaks were grilled to perfection, the fish and sides were nothing less than delicious. Kyler our waitresses is so amazing and easy to work with and attentive, she deserves a big raise. A very big Thank you to Ryan and his crew, truly top notch!

I'm not sure why the reviews are mixed, but we had an excellent dining experience at Black Marlin this evening. We began with the flauta appetizer special, accompanied by a pineapple jalapeño margarita, cucumber martinis, and a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. For our main course, we enjoyed the scallop pasta, salmon salad, shrimp and grits, and grilled mahi mahi tacos. Everything was cooked to perfection. To finish, we couldn’t resist trying both the signature key lime pie and the strawberry shortcake. The service was outstanding—attentive and professional. I highly recommend Black Marlin and would gladly choose to dine here regularly over the typical fried bar food found at most spots on the island.

We were on a family vacation, went to have a nice dinner to end our trip and was absolutely disappointed. Server was terrible, never came back to refill waters, had to ask multiple times for the kids waters, food was brought out wrong and after waiting over an hour for ONE plate to be remade we asked for an ETA and waited another 15 minutes with “no response” from the kitchen per the server. I finally went and spoke with a manager. I had better service and food at Blue Water Cowboy the following day. I will never come back to this establishment.

This was my 3rd time in Port-A. Twice before I've dined at different restaurants and they both were Poor Choices...(Virginia's on the Bay is just terrible). The Service was Great...ask for Daniel ! He normally cooks but he served us fantastically ! I had the Shrimp & Grits with Chorizo...Yes it was freaking Good ! Daniel made our Son a Shrimp Cocktail (off Menu) and it was delicious!! Sit Upstairs and dine outside and enjoy the breeze. You have a Great View and can see "terrible Virginia's" from the Upperdeck. Coming back tonight for Dinner. I rated them 4-Stars today, but dinner tonight will get them a 5-Star !

My partner and i split a burger and the Seafood Sampler. The burger was amazing and the buns were so soft. The seafood had its ups and downs. The fried oysters were good, the crab cake was delicious, the fried shrimp and fish may have been cooked a tad too long as they were a bit on the dry side i didnt have any drinks but the happy hour prices looked good. staff was nice and friendly.

This is our 2nd mini vacay to Port A, and we FINALLY got Great food! And, we loved sitting on the upper deck for a breeze. Daniel waited on us but cooks normally, amazing service! My son loves boiled shrimp (not on the menu), but Daniel made the best shrimp cocktail plate he's EVER had! Our 10 & 8 year olds convinced us that this will also be our place for dinner tonight, didn't have to twist my arm. Can't wait to try something new! ;)

The freshest food i had in Port A. Everyone in our Party loved their food. Service and Staff are outstanding. Atmosphere is very comfortable. The food is top notch. The price was a little more (not by much) but after enjoying the time we had here we would definitely come back. A must if you are in Port A.

I would go lower than 1 star, but Google will not allow it. The service was beyond poor. We waited an hour before they took our order, then had a 50 minute ticket time. Once food arrived, multiple orders were wrong, and drinks had to be empty before they were refilled. The Po-boy, widely known to be a large sandwich, only came with 4 fried oysters. Management did come and speak with us, and apologized and explained the issues. Nice guys, just had a bad night.

Pineapple bacon burger was pretty tasty. Service wasn't the best. They'd crossed out multiple items on the menu covers, without bothering to just print new ones. My friend's po' boy was questionable, and shrimp was frozen. Over priced.

Went to eat with my family and the chef Daniel and bartender Brandon really went out of their way to suggest and offer the best of the best. Our server was nice fast and on top of everything. The hospitality alone was worth the 5 stars. I went in a guest and left a friend.

Very yummy and lots of options, sweet and savory. Prices are reasonable and there's many drink options as well. I love the apple fritter. It's really big and I can never finish it haha. The sausage, cheese, with jalapeno pig in the blanket is good too. Red bulls here are cheaper than at the store. Highly recommend!!!!!!!

Dang, who doesn't like a High Quality Donut?? I know I do! Up from South Padre Island for a getaway and was craving some donut action. The bakery has a line and they were bringing out fresh product while we waited. Kinda expensive but Joe did that. The fritters and cream filled are the 💣 B . Very much mid. Apple fritter could have been much better with spices and was kind of doughy, not very crunchy even in the edge. The jalapeño pig n blankets are marked with a very questionable obviously died green edible thing. The person working was very short with me and even after putting the pig n blanket in microwave was cold. Here’s what’s left

The Donut Palace knows how to handle a crowd! Even though it was very busy, the line moved quickly and efficiently. The staff clearly knows how to keep things running smoothly. The donuts were fresh and tasty, and the kolaches were delicious as well. A great spot for a quick, satisfying breakfast!

We were here on Memorial Day weekend so it was really busy. There was quite a line, but it moved pretty fast. Shipley's is still my favorite, but this food was almost as good.

I needed coffee and a glazed donut - score! The donut selection was pretty limited and the coffee was average, but that's all I wanted.

Located in the middle of an residential area this fresh Water wildlife preserve has suffered a frost that killed much of the vegetation a few weeks ago. Still we did see some Northern Shovelers, Blue Wing Teals, and a copious amount of turtles. There is a boardwalk with a few lookouts that overlooks the pond. It is a nice place to visit if you are in Port Aransas and is not hard to find.

Very nice place to check for birds. The wood walkways make for an excellent location. Hope to return soon.

Even though we're in a drought the birds took advantage of the low water level great place to see a variety of animals.

This is a Little Piece of Port A Heaven! This is a small Wildlife Area. Lots of flowers and birds! A must do activity!

I miss all of the trees. Too bad they added so many houses in such a serene area.

I didn't see this area before the hurricane and freeze so I don't know what it looked like then but I applaud the city and all of the volunteers who work diligently and tirelessly to restore the habitat and Lord knows we need as many areas for birds and wildlife as we can protect. Although you may not see them, there are alligators in ponds all along the Texas coast and inland as far as The high school in Katy TX where a gator was found on the doorstep.

Awesome birds! Great birders! It has changed quite a lot since Harvey hit. Perhaps it's a better migrant trap now. Either way, there were great birds there when we were there: Hooded Warbler, Northern Parula and a Least Grebe. Great job, Port A!

This is a GREAT STORE!!! 10% Military discount. The beach towels are super cute every size imaginable lots of toys for kids. Boogie boards. Sandals of all sizes. Lots of great clothes that women actually will wear. You can custom make anything also for pretty inexpensive they’ll pretty much put anything on the shirt if you want to. My wife won’t stop looking at the dresses they have in here they are very nice. This spot is great!!!

Yesterday I went to get henna tattoos with my friend and the ginger lady doing my henna tattoo had the worst attitude and was so rude it made me uncomfortable. She wouldn’t answer any of our questions and gave me a dirty look then when she did my henna she didn’t tell me it would peel off, and the tattoo smeared. And then told another family she would do there henna and then disappeared and the family asked me where she went and they couldn’t find her , causing this store to loose buisness because of her unprofessionalism. These henna tattoos are also overpriced and should not be 15$ for them to smear everywhere and it’s not even real henna it’s just ink.

Best gift shop on the island and that is saying something because there are plenty. The shark head photo opp and walkway is a nice touch.

Not a happy place, stacked floor to ceiling with all things touristy, most made overseas. A few quality things here and there, but everything is so stacked together, it’s even tough to walk through the place. Much better souvenir places in Port A! CREDIT CARD SCAM!!! They charged us $95 instead of $13 for a single t-shirt purchase. We’ve disputed the claim with the bank, but this is insane and hasn’t been resolved 3 days later. The amount charged on the receipt doesn’t match what was charged. The whole place seems sketchy but we found a a shirt we liked so looked past it. Go literally anywhere else!

Our preferred location for customization! The two ladies that were working when our family came in were nothing short of amazing!! We bought custom logo dresses for our daughters custom hoodies for my husband and I, a custom half shirt, and more! They made sure we chose logos that would show up and look great and gave us a good deal! Thank you!!

A large souvenir shop with a few extra features, like the fake shark on one side of the store. A great place to take memorable pictures. The shirts they advertised on sale had small defects. My daughter bought an outfit and the pick an iron on which cost her $17 on top of the outfit price.

We love this place so much, we made it a tradition! This is our second year in a row coming to Port A, and after our visit last summer, we knew this would be one of the first stops on our list. The whole experience is fun and easy. Even my 3-year-old had a blast! There’s something for everyone! From tiny trinkets to giant pieces, and pricing depends on what you pick. You get to choose up to 6 colors and then glaze (or paint with acrylic) to your heart’s content. They provide everything! You just show up and get creative! The staff is incredibly sweet and patient, which makes the experience even better. If you’re visiting Port A, this needs to be on your must-do list!

LOVE!!! LOVE!!! LOVE!!!! this place. The people who work there are so much fun and very helpful when picking out items and colors. I have gone now 2 years in a row when I visit Port Aransas. We have done this before here and we knew we had to do it again! It is probably the coolest "gift" shop in any touristy town I've been to. Very unique. My kids love it!

Parking-right in front the building - lots of space for cars, SUV, Golf Carts and more. A few of the spaces near the building that line up with the parking lot entrances are great for big trucks! The front of the building is painted lively and fun! This is a destination beach town and they are fitting in well! When we walked in we were cheerfully greeted by the staff. Also a beautiful merchandised seasonal display with everything you can paint for the current season. Along the walls were so many options at various price points. Letters, animals, fruit, platters, coffee cups and all other seasons and holidays! You will find something if not more than one somethings you want to paint! You also get to pick if you want to use ceramic glazes and have it kiln fired. Or if it will be a shelf sitting decor piece and you won’t be able to pick up the item the next evening… they also have acrylic paints! You pick your colors- staff pours and delivers to your table. The entire Shop is inviting and fun! This is a family friendly activity and if you are thirsty they have lots of options to quench it! Some of the selections are 21 and up :) This is a must do in Port A!!

My wife and I came here while we were on our honeymoon and made ring holders! They fired them in about a day and a half all included in the price Everyone was very nice. We had a good time. I will say use multiple coats, more than you think because it really helps the colors pop!

We had a great time, it's more than just purchasing pottery, it's purchasing an experience! We came to beat the heat and find something fun to do, and we were not let down! The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable, and it was so easy. We were able to create a beautiful keepsake with our daughter, and we will definitely be back!

We finally got to come here! After a few visits, we were able to stop by and do this. We had so much fun! We took about 3 hours, but there were 5 of us and the hubby was very tedious on his car! We loved the way they turned out.

Mike, Courtney and Jeremy are very how far and knowledgeable. They have a different variety of kites for all ages if you’re looking for a great time buy a kite. I have had so much fun.

The place was hoppin’ when we got there. The man behind the counter was extremely friendly, polite, and knowledgeable. He warned me that the line I had gotten for my compound Cody kite wasn’t going to be strong enough and recommended a heavier weight line which worked fantastic. If you’re looking to buy a kite, whether you’re a noobie or an expert, they’ve got you covered.

These ladies gave us some solid advice about what kites to pick. Amazing day at the beach and for the first time ever the kites actually flew!!!! Thank you, it made our day.

We went in looking to replace ANOTHER umbrella lost at the beach and Jeremy was really helpful showing us two options and explaining the differences between the two. We got the Shibumi and he explained the warranty and how to set it up. Great place very helpful!

This is THE place for kites! They have an incredible variety of one and two line kites. Stunt kites for every skill level with professional instruction on how to properly fly from a gentleman who works there. Totally blew away my expectations for such a little shop. Don’t miss out on this jewel of a beach-fun shop!

Manager was very rude, shoving one of our party members for dancing on the DANCE FLOOR. Maybe don’t be in the middle of the dance floor and you won’t get bumped into mr. big shot manager. Only good part was the drinks. They definitely needed more help behind the bar also for a Saturday night.

THE DOOR GUY WAS ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL! This 5 star review is specifically for him. He was incredibly helpful, kind, and hilarious. He hyped up every aspect of the bar and took us on a tour. We will be here anytime we are in town SPECIFICALLY because of the door guy. You can tell he loved his job and made it such an amazing experience. Drinks were typical prices for this type of environment. The bartenders at the bike place were rude. Again. Door guy. Amazing.

3 bars in 1. There is so much to do! Live band outside in the "Backyard", great club and dance floor at (Pleasures), as well as drinks in the "lounge." Don't forget to try all the great food before all the drinking and dancing. What a great place to spend New Years!! 🤠😎

We had a great experience at Treasure Island. Until we encountered the prideful, know it all at the door. Just two minutes after they closed, my brother realized he had lost his wallet inside. We politely asked the older gentleman at the door if we could quickly go back in to look for it. His response was incredibly unhelpful and dismissive: “We’re not letting a search party come in. If we find it then we find it, but you can’t have it until the morning.” We respectfully asked to check the spot where he last had it. There were still customers inside, so it’s not like the building was empty. But we were flatly denied and basically told to just hope it turns up. For a place that profits off tourism and families, this was a really disappointing lack of empathy or basic customer service. Would not recommend based on how they treat people when something goes wrong. Even if I was provided free drinks for life I would never return to an establishment this rude unless the guy at the door, who refused to give me his name (said his name was door guy) is fired immediately. It is very sad that the face of a place this fun is this very upset man. As a business owner, I urge the owners of this great establishment to reconsider this man’s position with your company.

Club Pleasure is the hip-hop side to Treasure Island, and it was nice! Upon entry, there was an outside bar, and this night, the band was playing Purple Rain!! There is another lounge/bar area near the back. It was chill and quaint. You really can't miss with this place. They have Port Aransas covered!!

Pretty dope. Separate bars and has its own night club for a little bit of everything for everyone. Mix of all age groups. There was no drama the night we went, which was Halloween

Nick was the best, he really looked out for us and our group tonight! He had the best personality and kept the vibe super positive!!

The clothes are adorable and fairly priced. I got a gorgeous dress, $25 awesome fancy flat heeled shoes, we got an awesome hat and what have you. The ladies working Friday afternoon.. a lady with short hair and another lady with really long brown hair were wonderful!! Great sense of humor, helpful, understanding, and just the kind of people that bring in business. Knocked two stars due to the two older ladies working this Saturday at 12 noon (for owners reference) who were rude enough to inspire writing a review. Not the kind of people you want in your business :) So to the visitors checking if the stuff in the store is worth it YES heck yes! To the owners who should care for who they hire.. because who you invest in.

It was a very cute store and me and my family enjoyed looking at all the shirts and fun things to bring back home with us. The only reason I rated the store the way I did was because of the quality of shirts. I need to buy fabric glue to try and fix some of the shirts that are already peeling and the designs coming off. We spent quite a bit of money here too so we were disappointed with just one wash the designs were coming off. I hope we can fix these shirts so we can get our money's worth!

Beware of their return policy. No refunds on clothing that hasn't even been worn with tags still on the next day after purchase. Had to exchange for items we really didn't want. There's a small sign on the counter explaining the policy but who looks at that when checking out. They should tell every customer this up front. Will not go back.

Wow! What amazing selection of ladies clothing and beach wear

I was expecting the pizza to just be fast, but it was also delicious! The service for my cart rental was also excellent. LaLa also helped me make sure that I did not break any traffic laws getting back to the hotel and advised me on what roads i could drive on without issue. A great experience.

The folks at Jackfish were super nice, and renting the cart was smoother than a sunny beach day. But, oh boy the cart we got? Let’s say it has a personality of its own. The brakes were of a polite suggestion than an actual stopping mechanism and every bump we hit had the cart screeching like it was auditioning for a horror movie soundtrack. We only used it for quick jaunts from our house to the beach, so we didn’t kick up a fuss or return it. This cart was one wild ride shy of a safety inspection.

Very accommodating! I has accidentally booked for the wrong week and they were very kind and able to give me my rental for my stay. Thank you Jackfish! Our cart was so fun and made our trip even better. My nephew lived his snow cone on the return as well!

Amazing rentals and great service. Emma really took the time to explain the rates, the process and assisted with the cart rental and explaining how to use everything! She made the experience easier and would 100% recommend utilizing this location for your cart rental needs.

June 2025 the staff was very welcoming and gave instructions clearly on how to use the 6 seat golf cart & Bluetooth for the speaker in the golf cart. The price was good compared with other golf cart rentals. The cart had a windshield which was nice to keep the sand from blowing in our face when we rode on the beach. We will be back again in Dec 2025 & in April 2026 & will use use Jackfish Cart Rentals.

No tetanus shot needed to ride these carts! Kennedy, Laura, and the other young lady who’s name I missed, were welcoming & great to work with! They all definitely deserve a raise! The carts are up-to-date, clean, rust free, & HAVE BLINKERS!!! Whaaat!! There’s even a horn, so I don’t have to wear out my finger! Plenty of room for my kegs, 100 snapper & any of those sharks Jimmy Buffet sings about! Hop in! Beep! Beep!

I was visiting from Dallas and I had the BEST experience visiting this shop thanks to Emma! She was the most down to earth humorous assist when trying to decipher things I had no idea about 🤣 People like her is exactly why we have decided to relocate to this area, and I hope she knows how big of a impact she made!

Super easy reservation! We will be in Port A for 10 days in October. I called to reserve a 6 seater golf cart and a Shibumi (to have an extra). I was shocked at how reasonably priced they are! Maggie was just a doll! Very sweet and thorough. We even got to pick the cart we wanted to reserve. They definitely have our business from this point forward.

We had a blast renting one of the 6 passenger carts during our vacation stay at the Gulf Waters RV resort. No problems at all. Was easy to book, pay, and check out. Will definitely be a returning customer!

Reasonable rates for area, staff pleasant and good to work with. On Ave G which goes straight to beach entrance, so is convenient. Gas station close allowing easy top off before returning. 4 and 6 seater carts available. Would go here again and would recommend.

We were misinformed of the price of our rental prior to the day we picked up. When we tried sorting things out and trying to find out what happened, the man behind the front desk started shouting at my wife and I. Absolutely unacceptable behavior, all because of their mistake on our contract. Our rental ended up costing us 200$ more than we anticipated and the experience really put a drag on our trip. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I will be actively avoiding this place in the future

Fake exclusive agreement with gulf waters rv resort!!! We had a cart rental booked with another company but Gulf waters rv resort would not allow us to bring into the RV resort. We requested the documentation that states you can’t use another golf cart rental company. They danced around this request and wouldn’t provide. Just look how rusted Port A beach buggies are. They will not let you rent from anyone else.

I bought a shirt on 11/17/20. The shirt is a bit small. Store policy is "No Refunds, Exchange Only." I went in today, shirt e in perfect condition. It's been worn once, never washed. The 'owner" of the store refused an exchange. Typically one would try on a shirt and determine it's too big or too small. I brought the shirt in and immediately the owner tells me "this has been washed." She also made a big deal that"there is dog hair all over it." True we do have dogs, there may have been some, but it was minimal. DO NOT SHOP HERE! THEY HAVE A NO RETURNS OR EXCHANGES POLICY!!!! Make sure you are 100% positive and committed to your purchase. Their policy appears to be, "You buy it, it's yours!"

If you're looking for a henna tattoo, avoid this place. Called the store and was told, "henna is open from 9-6." I asked if they were working today and was told, "yes." Showed up around 2pm and there was a large "HENNA CLOSED" sign on the table. I asked one of the people at the register about both the closed sign and why I was told it was open today and was just told, "yeah, I don't know, we don't have an artist today." Last year, the artist had taken a 3-hour break during the middle of the supposed shift. I'm assuming they're independent from the store and they make their own hours, which is fine, but don't advertise as being open during certain hours then. 1-star for the poor management. There are many other options on the island for henna. Don't waste your time or money here.

My wife and I stop in once a year and they are great. Huge selection of touristy stuff and we get stuff to bring home. We love this place and are always treated so nicely! I still have a shirt and flip flops I bought last year and both are still perfect, so this tells of the quality of their merchandise! Love it!

We came for the live music but wow, the food. We sat outside under a giant shade tree and listened to live music on the patio. Bar service was super nice and went out of their way to get us what we needed. The homemade bread is on point but they had one of the best simple wedge salads I've had in a while. Probs cause I'm usually eating tacos. Then the coconut shrimp with raspberry sauce, man howdy. Too many reasons to come back.

The Tarpon Inn is a niche hotel. A bedroom, bed, sink, toilet and shower. No tv. No dining table. Quaint, quiet, a trip back in time. Rooms are very clean. Service is top notch. The location is perfect. The Tarpon Inn is about a very simplistic stay for those seeking a trip back in time for a rustic experience with air conditioning.

Wonderful, service-hearted staff from the hotel to the restaurant. Jen at the front desk gave us a tour without hesitation so we could see more of the rooms. Really recommend the FDR suite for 2+ day stays. Great food! Beautiful rooms, and in great shape for the building’s age and for being in a beach town. You can tell the management and staff really care about the maintenance of everything.

We booked a room. Checked in and they gave us a different persons room so we had left the hotel had to come back and let them know it wasn’t our name nor our room. So they gave us our room we leave come back at 12am and the key doesn’t work on the door knob I recorded where we tried it soo many times so we can show them in the morning because no one was there at night. Luckily we had family who rented a house so we stayed with them.we go back the next morning and they try to the key and the girl struggles to open the door and she got it open. They didn’t refund us our money because of their “policy”. Very disappointing and I was soo frustrated!! I Do not recommend.

I just got back from a girls' weekend at this gem of a hotel and everyone in my group loved the property. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very clean and comfortable. They offer all the modern amenities but preserve the hotel's historical integrity. This type of charm isn't something you find in many properties these days. I personally loved looking at all the historical pictures our room and in the lobby. The lobby has tarpon scales with past visitors' names on them--even one from Franklin Roosevelt! I spent a while just walking around and looking at all of them. We also had dinner and breakfast at 1886 (one of the restaurants on the hotel's property), and the food was *amazing*. We ordered two orders of the focaccia bread (one wasn't enough!) and the crab cakes were so, so good! The breakfast was great as well. Everything was fresh and delicious--especially the beignets! Also, if you stay at the hotel, you get a discount of golf carts at Tarpon Carts, which is located right next to the property. We had one, and it was extremely convenient to be able to walk right next door for pickup and drop-off. I highly recommend this hotel! It's a unique spot with friendly service!

Port A H20 is the real deal.The Skis were in excellent condition, clean and clearly well maintained. I've rented skis several times and upon arrival only to see they are old, scraped up and the performance on the water sucks. NOT AT PORT A H20! There were three of us on our trip. Mike was prompt, professional and set all expectations up front. We met him at the Marina near the ferry where he met us with his boat and two skis; already in the water and ready a few minutes before our appointment. After a 10 minute information session (which we all appreciated), we were on the skis and headed out to the channel. He parks the boat in a sandy shallow spot which made it easy for us to switch out turns on the skis. Mike was there to help us when needed but generally kept to himself and let us hang out as a family during our time. Out on the water we were ripping up waves, jumping wakes and hauling you know what up and down the channel. I even was able to get 5 feet away from a pod of dolphin! It was the highlight of our vacation and worth every cent because Mike actually provides the service and skis you'd expect for the money. We rented on 8/16/19 and my family and I are still talking about how awesome the jet skis were a week later. If you want to make your vacation extra special and really feel like you lived it up down on the coast, book some skis from Port A H20. We will be back for sure. Thanks again, Mike! *Pro Tips: Make sure to have sunglasses that can stay on your face and on top of your head while out on the skis. The sea spray and breeze when you're tearing it up is refreshing and part of the experience; but it's that much more enjoyable with a sporty type set of shades (so not a pair of traditional metal framed aviators) that can block the salt water and not fly off in the wind. You can leave your valuables on the boat and not worry about them getting wet in the jet ski compartment.

It was our first time experiencing jet skiing on the ocean and we had an absolute blast! The guide, Mike was super laid back and knowledgeable. Highly recommended!

This was such a wonderful private boat tour!! Our party of three adults and six children really enjoyed dolphin watching and cruising the coast line of Port A on our own private boat. Mike was extremely punctual and great with communication, will be booking him in the future!

Wonderful experience! Definitely recommend. Had a great time. He was on time and very informative for us first time drivers. Will definitely book him again.

Used Port A H2O for our dolphin tour, we saw dozens of dolphins and lots of varieties of seabirds. Mike is knowledgeable local who gave our group of 6 a fun and accommodating tour around Port A. As an aside note, our group had a scheduling snafu and he was able to accommodate accordingly. We were very pleased with our experience and will recommend him as well as use him again the next time we come to Port A.

Mike was an amazing person. He had such good hospitality and was so outgoing. Even though I was scared of the jet skis my mom and the little ones had a good time. We were about to leave and we left a watch on the boat and he text my mom and told her so we can get it. His customer skills were awesome thank you for the experience !

If you are looking to jet ski in Port Aransas this is the place to go. Mike is friendly and professional and above all he is very knowledgeable of the island. His equipment is in good condition, reliable, and clean. He gives thorough instruction on how to operate a jet skit no matter your knowledge of ever operating a jet ski. He will ride with you to guide you along the island but also gives you space and privacy. Lastly, he gives suggestions to find great sea food and drinks. Lastly make a reservation with Mike a day before. Mike is the reason we will continue to come back to Port Aransas.

Cool place! The store was great. Lots of great gift ideas, jewelry, towels, beach toys and nick knacks. My only request would be to stock some plus size woman's clothing. The service was great and the staff was friendly and fun.

The flashier of the tourist trap style shops, this one is high quality goods and service. The prices reflect it though, so don't exactly expect to find a bargain. They do have name brand high quality goods, but that also means a pair of flip-flops can cost $60.

Absolutely the worst customer service and I would never shop there if it was the last place in Port A to buy my children a gift! The manager Danny was completely disrespectful and when a request was made to speak with the owner, I was denied. FYI- the governor himself has issues exceptions to wearing and face masks and number 2 - said individual is at a much higher risk then the others in the store. Absolutely great service. Very helpful as I was shopping Someone was always cleaning. Great mask compliance. Hand sanitizer and plastic screens. They also checked my ID to prevent fraudulent use of my credit card.

These guys are highly recommended! Booked a flight for my 12 year old son’s birthday and it was amazing! Freaking A!!!!! Awesome experience here. Took me back into the day of skate boarding. Great customer service and very helpful. Seems like they really want to help you with what you need to get started. I am an old skater from back in the 90s and they were able to get me up to speed with all the latest and greatest. Would recommend this skate shop to anyone in Port Aransas.

We were down in the area for spring break. Decided to rent a few surfboards. We looked high and low to find a spot, ended up landing at the Board House. The staff was very helpful, got us setup with a couple of soft top boards, wetsuits, and some tips on where to catch some waves. They were extremely helpful and very flexible. If you need to rent some equipment this is your spot. They also have a nice surf shop to pick up the clothes or surfing essentials.

The 11 foot board is so awesome for me and my son to ride tandem. At $30 for 24 hours a very affordable deal for everyone. Thank you and all your staff for all the loving memories and moments you have given me here at port aransas I will never forget.

Best surf shop in all of Texas. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Great selection of new and used boards, and a great place to sell used boards on consignment. Great selection of clothing also. Their Board House brand clothing is excellent quality, and priced well below comparable quality clothing from more well-known brands.

I have purchased multiple boards from the board hose. It is always a great experience with a very polite and knowledgeable staff.

My dad and I decided to rent some e-bikes from Island Motor Bikes, and it ended up being one of the highlights of my trip. We took the ferry over to San Jose Island and rode up and down the beach, finding some really awesome sea shells along the way. The bikes were affordable, easy to ride, and way more fun than a golf cart. Kyle was super friendly and helpful, which made the whole experience even better. If you’re visiting Port Aransas, I definitely recommend skipping the golf cart and grabbing an e-bike instead — perfect for cruising the beach or just getting around town. This definitely won’t be our last time renting from Island Motor Bikes.

Wow. A perfect 5.0 on Google Maps. Not a easy gig. First.. Radbike 6s are horrible bikes. Glen doesn't sell them. That says all you need to know. Both of our POS bikes died at the same time. Very strange. Both bike computers died at the exact same time. EMP? CCP microchip kill switches? Either way, these radbikes are just expensive paperweights. This bike repair/ rental/ sales shop is top notch friendly and very knowledgeable with all ebikes! Glen and his staff are just nice folks in Port A. Island Motor Bikes is the way to.. Pardon the pun. Roll.. Plotted.. Scouts Out.

The best! Lots to love here. This is the only authorized service for Lectric trikes south of San Antonio. Personalble, very reasonable prices, quick service. I accidently left my bike keys. Glen called me the same afternoon and offered to deliver or mail them. I received them in the mail a few days later. Thanks so much! Look no further for yor needs!

Great service and kindness that’s most appreciated. We stopped in as he was closing. He went right back , opened for us . We have a bike for two and needed different handle bars which he had and installed. Then he check the bike all over and loved the chain as well. More concerned with safety and fantastic service at a very fair price .

We have rented electric scooters and electric bikes on two different occasions. Equipment is well maintained and clean, batteries were fully charge. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. It was so much fun as it was our first time to ride. Drop off and pick up was easy as well.

This review is for the shop located at 1720 Hwy 100 Port Isabel, TX. Posting here since that shop doesnt show on the map yet 8-1-25 Brought my Lectric Trike in last Friday, 7-25-25. It had a few issues I knew about and asked to have fixed, plus a general check-up since it had 1150 miles on it. The owner told me he would probably have to order parts, but once he checked everything out he would call with the repair cost before moving forward. Within an hour he called with the total, and ordered parts. On Tuesday he called letting me know the wiring had been completed and was only waiting for tires to come in. On Wednesday he called to tell me the bike was complete and ready for me when I could make my return trip. When I arrived this morning, he went over all repairs, showed all was in working order, and had cleaned the bike. Once I paid, he walked with us to help load it in our hatch.

Kyle is the man! I appreciate his customer service and communication. Highly recommend Island Motor Bikes.

Great views and wild life watching. We saw a couple of Pelicans which was fun. Entrance was $3 each, seniors $1, get your hands stamped for all day access.

We stayed at the IB Magee campground for the month of April and the pier is a couple hundred feet from the entrance. I have been going to Port -A for years and have had mixed results on the pier, but this year was absolutely fantastic. Caught reds, flounder, black drum, sharks and lots of cool fish. The new check in booth with an open sign you can see from the street is great. The attendants are great. They were friendly and helpful! They ask if you need bait, drinks or a snack and stamp your hand so you can come and go as you need. I’m 63 so I need some reminders! One young man had me take a picture of my stamp in case I sweat it off, which is a great idea! When the bait shops were out of live shrimp and I had to buy frozen the attendant suggested I take it to the fish cleaning station on the pier and run water over it to thaw it out so I wasn’t waiting for it to thaw. After that I would dump the frozen bait in a small bucket of water and never had to fight frozen bait again. I wore a hole in the streets between Island Tackle and the pier. Normally the surfers keep a good distance from your casting range and everyone enjoys the water. This year during Sandfest I had them surfing over my lines and after a hook set a fish came out of the water a couple of feet from a guy. I was reeling in a hard head that came off and dropped between a guys legs who was crossing under the pier right where I was fishing. Be safe and watch out for others who may not be paying attention!

Seems great to fish off of. As someone who just walked across it, the fee of $3 per adult wasn't good and I wouldn't do it again...I thought there might be something up the buildings worth checking out but not much to do. Under the pier though is amazing. You can find the best seashells in Port A under and near the pier.

Beautiful morning walk down the pier, lots of fishing, and surfers! $3 gets ya in, and hand stamp lasts all day until next morning.

Great place to take the family very nice clean restrooms I was able to ride my mobility scooter from the parking lot all the way to the end of the pier no issues I highly recommend

Loved this shop. Stoped before leaving from vacation, and accidentally walked in over an hour before they opened. We weren’t aware of the hours, but they both welcomed us in anyways and answered all the questions we had. Very relaxed environment and kid friendly. My oldest daughter made herself at home with couches and TV and they didn’t mind, she even held my youngest daughter. Very knowledgeable of everything in the store and nice people. Clean shop with a wonderful smell.

Had them sell my coral on commission and after months of claiming they would send me payment I have received nothing. Seemed like nice people over the phone, shipped them my coral, they claimed to have sold some but after multiple emails and over a year I have received nothing. I recommend you stay away and do business elsewhere.

I was so blown away by the level of customer service I received from Lynnette and the team at Loving Coastal Living. I had a very unique request from a client for a large quantity of custom, hand painted shells for an event with a very tight timeline. At every turn, Lynnette was flexible, professional, creative with input, patient and resourceful. She was able to fully accommodate the requests and the deadline. Our client was very pleased with the end product and we wouldn't have achieved that without Lynnette and her team. This is the best stop in Port Aransas for shells and coastal home decor. The prices are right and they have a great selection. However, the best part of this store are the people who work there. So welcoming and friendly!! They invited our 2 year old kid to handle the shells and things - very brave of them!

Very beautiful store! Jewelry, home costal decor, kitchen ware & children items, and especially the Christmas decor. You probably have to circle inside, around 3-5 times to capture everything. Staff was very hospitable. We'd returned @our next visit 💚

We walked in all super happy to get my hunni some swim trunks. Greeting the girls in the front got no acknowledgment at all asked for any sales or clearance. They said they don't have that I directed us to find a rack of marked down swim trunks. Bad customer service noone offered to help or anything dont know why. I found some great swim trunks for him and got some smark remarks about having to take their shorts back when my hunny said I guess I'll give you my money. Tisk tisk ladies a simple good morning would have sufficed

Friendliest employees I encountered in all the gift shops I stopped at. The clothing does seem to cost more than what you might find at surrounding stores but the quality seems nicer. They do have dressing rooms. Very clean place and well lit and not overcrowded by merchandise like other surrounding shops.

Great selection and great customer service. When we entered, we were greeted with a friendly hello from several employees; they seemed to do this for everyone, which is a nice touch. Very clean, endless swim suits of all styles for women, men, and children. Tons of dressing rooms and extremely helpful staff. A great sale rack in the women's section. Cute suits for kids w/ floaties in them, and stylish suits for both women and men. Also great selection of sun-protection clothing, wraps, dresses, hats, and a super friendly and helpful staff. Nice, roomy dressing rooms. Also, a great pink octopus on the roof for photos and a funky shark mouth sculpture outside to get family photos in! Also no terrible loud music playing in the store. We'll go back there!

Visited this store with my granddaughter on 8/27/2024. The store has many items to choose from to say the least. However, I did ask for a military discount, my printed receipt shows a discount, my bank account doesn't. We went to another gift shop down the street, they were far better priced though that particular store didn't give military discounts. I bought the same 2 items there and still came out cheaper even without the military discount.

the check out worker was not friendly at all. she was also on a phone call loudly. towards the end of my transaction she threw down our bags on the counter. i still replied with a thank you.

Definitely not the best gift shop on the island. The carpets were stained and their hermit crab area smelt the worst of the 3 that we went to today. Palace, you gotta step it up.

Finally checked out this place today. I didn't think it was that good. There are way better places with better pricing. We did get one top though and the cashier was nice.

Emma was extremely helpful with my Hanne tattoo for my friends daughter. She's very responsible/ and knows what to do. She was very gentle with the hermit crabs. Possibly the cutest store I have ever been in. I found the perfect gifts for my Mom and they shipped them to her in Minnesota. Sheila was the perfect host to our group. I would give 100 stars if I could.😊

This is a great little shop and we heard from the saleslady that they were going to be moving into a bigger spot soon. Right now it is our go-to place for gifts from Texas. They carry things that were locally made as well as a nice selection of gifts and decor. You can expect to see metal art and wooden sculptures. They also have Texas-made rubs, chili mix, pickled jalapenos and other goodies. There's an abundance of signs with cute sayings, picture frames and Christmas decorations. It's just a cool store to dig around in.

Cute shoppe with Texas items like salsas, Saba Jellies/Jams, spice rubs and seasonings for mests/veggies, etc. Also CUTE beach decor and other home items.

Loved this store. While we were in Port Aransas, they hosted a chilli cook-off and sidewalk sale. Store is small but jam packed with spices, jams and coastal decor.

Great beer. Try the Texas Bock. One of the best brews I've ever drank. Burgers and fries weren't too bad either. Get there before 5pm during summer as it gets busy fast.

We went in there to look around (the selection was not for me personally) cute stuff regardless with good style. Unfortunately, the employee working that day made sure that we will never return. We personally met the kind owner last time, however this time the employees that were on duty made us extremely uncomfortable by staring/obviously judging us. Look prevention loss is one thing but staring and snickering like school age children is just silly. My mother had to use the restroom, we understand that it was not public after the fact (we didn't see the sign at first) but how the employee treated my mother was beyond unacceptable. Kindly stating "Sorry these aren't public" would've worked just fine but yelling outloudlike a toddler stating "Oh my god who's in the restroom" and then very aggressively pointing to the sign the minute my mother walked out stating "It says right HERE they are not public". Look its a simple interaction from this employee that will ensure we NEVER return as customers nor our friends/family that typically join us. If I owned this company and wanted to ensure its success I'd cut the cancer out. Go somewhere else if you want a kind/respectful shopping experience.
