Crabtree Valley Mall is a massive shopping, dining, and entertainment complex with over 220 businesses and underground parking. It's the largest enclosed mall in the Research Triangle area and has been attracting visitors from central and eastern North Carolina since it opened in 1972. The mall offers a wide range of shops, including popular ones like The Cheesecake Factory and Flemings Prime Steakhouse.
Really nice mall! It’s big, super clean, and has a stylish vibe. Perfect place to hang out, shop, or grab some food. Plenty of stores and space to walk around without feeling crowded. Definitely a great spot to spend some time!

Many fun, unique stores, but with a lot of older classics. Nice vig food court. Maps could be better. Parking is a mess.
Holly H — Google review
Our church love this restaurant. The staff are amazing. They are consistent each time we dine in with a large party. The manager and the team are down to earth. Cool and friendly. We love the food options and atmosphere. Great choice to eat, chill, and shop if you at Crabtree.
Cedric T — Google review
It was welcoming and comforting despite being so crowded it was still easy to navigate and the flow of traffic was smooth. I was particularly amazed about the art walk even that they were hosting which supported local artists. It was nice to see familiar faces while making new friends as well and buying amazing artwork!
Jordan R — Google review
Big and beautiful mall. With upscale and more affordable stores.
N D — Google review
Nice higher end mall with lots of options for shopping. Well kept and clean except for one area... The bathrooms across from H&M need some serious help. You can smell piss even before entering the bathrooms and some if the toilets are sealed off. The smell is really foul.
Jessica J — Google review
We visited Crabtree Valley Mall during our trip to North Carolina and had a fantastic experience! The mall has a great selection of stores, perfect for Christmas shopping. Of course, we had to stop by Macy’s and the LEGO store, which didn’t disappoint. Buckle was another highlight for some stylish finds. After shopping, we enjoyed a variety of options at the food court—everything was delicious. To top it off, we made sure to visit Curaté and support a small business. The mall had something for everyone, and the atmosphere was festive and welcoming.

My girlfriend and I celebrated our 3 year anniversary at Fleming’s Steakhouse. It was phenomenal. Our server Shaun was an absolute pleasure and the food always 10/10!

Restaurant
Bosphorus Restaurant is a hidden gem located in an unassuming strip mall just a short walk from downtown Cary. This family-owned establishment offers traditional Turkish and Mediterranean cuisine, with a focus on fresh spices and herbs. The menu features a variety of grilled meats, kebabs, seafood, and meze sharing platters. Diners can expect authentic dishes such as Turkish pizzas, Adana kebabs, and cigar bourek - a Turkish twist on Mozzarella sticks.
Wonderful experience eating here! My husband and I had been wanting to try this place for a while after a couple people mentioning how good it was. We finally made it out yesterday and it was amazing! Good quality, lots of options and friendly service! Can’t wait to come back and try more things!
Manuela J — Google review
The food was definitely perfect. The mixed Kebab option is really good. The place is just ok, nothing special, but the food is really tasty. Not an expert in Turkish food, but if you like Lamb, Chicken, and Beef, I highly recommend you trying the mixed kebab. There was a tasty soda whose name I forgot, but you can see it in the pictures. The bread with the oil was also good. That’s included like the tortilla chips and tomaste sauce when you to a Mexican restaurant.
Mario A — Google review
I grew up coming here before they even expanded their restaurant. It used to be really good and the food was super authentic. I just went again today for the first time in a few years and it was so upsetting to see how much it declined. I always got the chicken shish kabob from there and it was undercooked. The food was lacking a lot of flavor. The worst part was the bathroom. I would think in a location like that the bathroom would be decent but they were filthy. I spent about $120 with tip for 3 people. I also got food poisoning.. Definitely wont be coming back here :(
Mira B — Google review
What a great meal. I have been to this restaurant twice now and I am amazed at this food. I have a daughter in law that is from Turkey and this is where she loves to eat. So I think that speaks to the authenticity of this place. Great food at every course! I recommend the gyro platter!
Robert K — Google review
I ordered a mixed grill and specifically asked for it to be well done. However, the order arrived like in the first picture. I asked the waiter to replace the two pink pieces, and after more than twenty minutes, he brought me the two pieces shown in picture 2. Honestly, I think the restaurant should reconsider their chef’s skills or training.
Farah F — Google review
I went in for a quick bite but ended up ordering a good amount of food. I got hummus, baba ganoush, sigara boregi, tabbouleh, the homemade ayran and a platter with most of the meats (meat platter maybe 🤔 idk), I can't remember the name but all of them were so delicious, well seasoned, the kofta was medium rare which I didn't expect but boy was it yummy. With the hummus and baba ganoush we got some bread with sesame seeds and made it much more enjoyable to eat them with. I'm not sure why this place is not more highly rated, the service, atmosphere and food of course is just on point. I have to come back for the coffee and pídelers.
Adalberto C — Google review
The food is INCREDIBLY delicious! I want to eat every single item on the menu, so I'll have to figure out how to eat here more often! Everything is very well-presented. I don't like spicy food, but all items are clearly marked for spiciness, and everything was perfectly seasoned and delicious. 🤤 The service was excellent: not interrupting every two minutes, but still very attentive. I liked that all the service staff worked together and helped each other out. The restaurant was super busy, but we never felt rushed. I was shocked how busy they were in the middle of a Wednesday- they didn't have an open seat! The tables and atmosphere are fairly simple (and the restrooms weren't horrendous but could definitely be cleaner...), but the food and service definitely make it a worthwhile visit! The prices are also very reasonable: our two entrees with a side and three different drinks was only $39 after tax! 😲 I'm already looking forward to my next meal here!
Danica T — Google review
We came here as a group of six and had a fantastic experience. Our server recommended a special set menu that featured a variety of the restaurant’s signature dishes. Every item was full of flavor, especially the chicken and lamb — both were incredibly tender and delicious. The service was warm, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. We’ll definitely be coming back!

The Raleigh Flea Market is a popular destination for shoppers to browse through hundreds of vendors selling everything from clothing to ceramics and comic books. It is rated as one of the best flea markets in the country, with a vibrant atmosphere and plenty of places to take pictures.
We enjoyed the market. I didn't take many pictures, but I shared the ones I did. We had a nice visit. There's a ton of outdoor vendors and a large indoor area as well. There are so many different vendors with every step.
Mary T — Google review
One of the best markets to goto check out the yard sale side for some random stuff and good deals!!
Ross P — Google review
Amazing place with lots of stuff that would catch your attention, curiosity, and money. It’s a mix of everything—vintage, collectibles, tools, furnitures, prints, clothes, foodies, and a lot more! I was looking for some collector’s items and I found some. This weekend fair is an established, long running, and family-friendly tradition in Raleigh. You’ll see lots of nice folks and have a feel of NC culture.
Dr. G — Google review
This was our first time back after a couple.of years nit going and it seriously needs some help. There used to be so many vendors with great products and now it seems like mostly cheap items outside. The buildings still have nice items in them though.
Ashley S — Google review
Treasure Hunting at Its Best! The Raleigh Flea Market is hands down one of the best weekend spots in town! The selection is absolutely amazing—everything from vintage collectibles and antiques to handmade crafts, tools, clothes, and even fresh produce. Every visit feels like a new adventure because the vendors change things up and you never know what great deals you’ll stumble across. Prices are fair, and most sellers are friendly and open to negotiating. It’s well-organized, easy to navigate, and there’s a great mix of old-school charm and modern finds. I make a point to stop by nearly every weekend now 😊
Cortni H — Google review
Fun day to explore all the treasures they have here. I spent a morning here browsing around and they have everything you can imagine. Vintage clothing, home decor, fabrics, records, and food to snack on. Excited to come again soon.

Great place to take the family. This weekend was the train show. If you lie model train this is the place to visit

Had fun. Our first visit. Outside vendors are much more eclectic than inside. Some vendors chose not to unpack all their merchandise because of limited traffic.

Visitors can enjoy free parking and take part in activities like the Thursday evening spring concert series with food trucks and beer vendors.
Park West is one of the best places to hang out in Morrisville. Lots of shops means lots of choices. You’ll defiantly enjoy what this place can offer for you or your family. Safe place and family friendly.

Save yourself the trouble — avoid this salon. This was my third and final visit. I came in a week ago for a full set, and within five days, six nails broke. I returned each time, staying calm, polite, and patient, even waiting for repairs — which were done with mismatched colors and no real care. When a seventh nail broke, I asked for a refund. I was told I could get 50% of my money back or 50% off my next visit. I chose the discount, but instead, they ripped a receipt and claimed I had already been refunded — without my consent. After calmly asking to fix the most recent broken nail, I was publicly humiliated by Amy, who told me her staff “no longer felt comfortable doing my nails.” I had done nothing but speak respectfully through six repair visits in three days — sometimes twice in one day — just trying to get what I paid for. Instead of accountability, I was gaslit and shamed in front of a room full of customers. Amy also blamed the constant breakage on the fact that I’m a mom, which was not only insulting, but completely unprofessional. I left in tears and embarrassed, while caring for my 2-year-old. No customer should ever be treated like this. To make it worse, they have repeatedly deleted negative reviews, including mine and others. It’s clear this salon is more focused on silencing feedback than improving their service. Roy’s work is poor. Amy and Eric run this salon with zero professionalism. Go to the other nail salon in the same complex — they deserve your time and money. This place absolutely does not.

This shopping mall sits at a main crossroads near Chapel Hill Road and Cary Parkway, making it super easy to access whether you’re coming from nearby Cary, RTP, or Raleigh. It’s a vibrant, modern lifestyle center that blends shopping, dining, entertainment, and even residences all in one walkable layout . Pharmacy Bottle + Beverage is a trendy bar and bottle shop housed in a former pharmacy building. The industrial-style establishment features large storefront windows, concrete floors, and an impressive selection of craft beers on tap, as well as a variety of beer cans and bottles for takeout. In addition to beer, they offer seltzers, ciders, and wine. Located next to the Cary Theater in Downtown Cary, this spot is perfect for unwinding with its curated selection of beverages.
Nice selection of beers on draft, everyone should be able to find something they like. If draft isn’t your style, they have two coolers to pick out beer from. I saw many different styles in there as well. Also, they have a huge selection of cants/ bottles to take home. I personally found a couple of cans from a cool brewery outside of Charlotte. So all-in-all, definitely a cool place to stop by.
Scott G — Google review
No changing tables! A centrally located, amazing bar that has zero changing tables. We love the location, the beer selection, the access to local restaurants, and service, all good!! With the park and walkability, we have to come only to hope for no accidents from our 1 and 3 year old. Is that on purpose?
Jessika S — Google review
Another great downtown neighborhood bar. Extensive beer and wine menu as well as coolers full of more varieties … huge windows open to the street, seating everywhere, inside, out to the street as well as an additional garden in the back. Giving easy going, chill gathering place vibe …

Best place in town for a beer. It's relaxed and laid back... not pretentious. It doesnt attract NPCs (fake people you only see on reality shows). Been coming for years and the staff are very cool. Please no more yacht rock Saturdays…?🤭

Easily one of the best beer shops in Cary, if not Wake county. 16 taps of local and regional crafts really make this a perfect weekend afternooner. Their bottle stock is even better.

This is a great place to hangout and grab a beer/cider. I believe they rotate beer on tap every now and then. I have been here about 4 times and had a pleasant experience. Staff is great and quick, which is great. Dog friendly place. Outdoor seating in the front and in the back.

The plaza also features unique shops such as Pier 1 and Total Wine alongside Play It Again Sports.
Visited Best Buy didn't find what I wanted, staff member wasn't very helpful, so I left. Visited Marshall's was greeted by store manager at back of store very friendly and helpful. Picked up several things at a good price I needed and checked out. Check out very very friendly also.

PAINTED TREE BOUTIQUE is a MUST! It’s like a Low to High end In Door “FLEA MART” it’s literally a “ONE STOP SHOP”.
K C — Google review
Update: the parking lot can be problematic and hard to fit a bigger vehicle into. The spaces are narrow. The stores continue to change. There are plenty of food and clothing options. This plaza has a lot of shops. Plenty of parking, especially toward the far ends or less busy stores. You could spend the day going through shops and dining. The only true negative is how it is set up. I have to use directions a lot or I could get lost. If you turn the wrong way out of the parking lot, you are forced to go a direction you may not want to go in.

This place is amazing, it's centrally located and in a very nice area. You can probably find everything you need plus a lot more. It's a fairly new, outdoor style shopping center with ALL kinds of shoppes. You'll see chain stores like Target, Petco; Chico's, Ulta, Home Depot, Boutiques, Supermarkets, Banks, a nice variety of Restaurants (sit down type & fast food chains), Hair Salons, Nail Salons, Gas Stations, Coffee Shops, Cine Bistro Style Movie Theater, Bowling Alley, Golf Galaxy Store, Specialty Candy Stores, Hotel and this is JUST to name a few. I was very impressed but I do want to clarify that it is NOT a "Mall"; therefore you will not find Department Stores like Macy's, Belks, JC Penney's; etc. I hope this review and the images help!

It features a new Asian grocery store and Paris Baguette, adding to its diverse offerings.
Grand opening of new Asian grocery store and Paris Bagette. Love the bakery used to visit every week in Atlanta. The store and bakery was so packed yesterday. Will go back some time during the weekend to get some bones for stock and Asian grocery.

We brought our family to the Briar Creek Shopping area for some sweets at Paris Baguette. It was small but has a little seating area as it is a part of the Asian grocery store. As a bigger family, we would probably go to the other location in Cary but it wasn't too busy on Saturday afternoon, just a smaller space. My husband and kids walked in the grocery portion afterwards and found some delicious international snacks. We would come back again to the Asian grocery store. We had no problem with parking.

So many options at this shopping area. You can go craft painting, shop at an Asian grocery store, you'll also find a perfect pastry bistro, or sushi. Feel like Mexican or Irish food tonight ?

Ok area, a bit confusing, way out of my normal stomping grounds, and way higher prices than I can afford

Looks like a very nice well developed kind of secluded shopping center. Parking layout is better than Brier Creek shopping center. Lots of restaurant choices and glad they have Fresh International Market there.

Fenton has brought a very modern elevated shopping and entertainment destination to the Triangle. There is really nothing like it. Fenton offers fine dining, high end retail and entertainment. I've visited previously for retail shopping, dining, cocktails, and events. I've enjoyed dining a Superica Tex Mex, Sports & Social, Dram & Drought, Ava Rooftop, PBR Cowboy Bar, Paragon Movie Theater, The Agency Bar, and shopping at Arula, Altrd State, and the Nike by Cary Store. Today I attended the Walk To Defeat Dementia event. Fenton was the perfect location. It was very well organized and everyone had more than enough room to spread out. Today I visited the My Tartine cafe food truck. We had sandwiches on baguettes and a delicious strawberry Dubai chocolate cup ! A must try ! I look forward to more businesses coming to Fenton.

Fenton Shopping Mall is truly a gem in the community, offering a unique and vibrant experience that goes beyond just shopping. The concept is brilliant—stores and restaurants occupy the lower floors, while apartments are located on the upper floors, creating a self-contained, thriving little community. It’s a place where everything you need is within reach. What makes Fenton stand out is the variety it offers. Whether you’re in the mood for shopping, dining, or catching a movie, you’ll find it all here. The mall has a great selection of shops, ranging from boutique stores to well-known brands, as well as a diverse array of restaurants, ice cream shops, and coffee spots. There’s even a full movie theater, perfect for a night out without having to stray far from home. The outdoor spaces are particularly inviting, with plenty of seating areas where you can relax, read a book, or enjoy some downtime with your pet. The mall is designed to foster a sense of community, and you can really feel it as you walk around. The combination of residential and commercial spaces creates a lively yet cozy atmosphere that’s perfect for both residents and visitors. Whether you live in one of the apartments above or are just visiting for the day, Fenton Shopping Mall has everything you need. It’s more than just a place to shop—it’s a place to connect, relax, and enjoy life. If you’re looking for a spot that offers convenience, variety, and a strong sense of community, Fenton is definitely worth a visit.

Chatham Street Wine Market is a charming boutique wine shop located in downtown Cary. Since its opening in 2015, it has been a favorite spot for wine enthusiasts. The shop prides itself on offering unique, small production wines from family-owned estates around the world, with an emphasis on organically grown varieties. The knowledgeable and friendly staff are always ready to offer recommendations and assistance.
I recently discovered this charming spot while visiting the area. The wine selection here is truly delightful, offering a thoughtfully curated variety of choices to suit every palate. What impressed me most were the reasonable prices, making it possible to explore new wines without breaking the bank. The ambiance is perfect for sitting down, unwinding, and enjoying good conversation. The seating area is cozy yet stylish, striking just the right balance between casual comfort and sophisticated charm. It's an ideal setting to meet friends or simply enjoy a quiet, peaceful evening sipping wine. The staff deserves a mention too—they're welcoming, knowledgeable, and always ready with a great recommendation. If you're looking for a lovely place to relax with excellent wine and great company, this hidden gem is definitely worth a visit!

What a little gem! Walking in it felt like "just another bottle shop" but the closer you look the better it gets. The prices range from very reasonable to a great quality/gift. They also had a huge selection of non-alcoholic options so everyone could enjoy the back patio/indoor seating area if you like. Overall, great spot.
Ashleigh — Google review
It is a nice wine store. While the selection of wine by the glass is limited, the bottle selection is good. However, I was a bit disappointed with the service. We visited the wine store on Saturday night, ordered a glass of wine, and took a seat on the terrace. When we decided to order another glass, we were told that new orders were no longer being accepted, even though it was 9 PM and the store stays open until 10 PM. I found it surprising that they would stop accepting orders an hour before closing, especially on a Saturday night.

Traveling through Cary was beautiful and so clean. It was refreshing to see that the town cared so much.
Melissa L — Google review
Having lived in Raleigh for decades, I've always been attuned to the discussions about the best cities to live and work in the United States, and Cary has frequently been mentioned in such conversations. Initially perceived as a mere suburb with Raleigh at its heart, Cary has gradually shed that image, morphing into something more akin to a city, while its downtown retains the charm of a small town. Despite the cycle of old businesses fading away and new, slightly larger commercial buildings taking their place, a true sense of prosperity seemed elusive. It wasn't until the revitalization of Downtown Cary Park and the addition of new apartment complexes that perceptions began to shift. Yet, many restaurants and landmarks like the government office buildings, Cary Elementary School, Cary Arts Center, and The Cary Theater have maintained their original character. The latter, which nearly succumbed to the rise of digital movies and the impact of the pandemic, stands as a testament to the town's resilience. I don't often find myself wandering downtown unless my previous photographic works have been superseded by new images, prompting me to capture fresh perspectives through my lens. On days when cooking feels like a chore, I find solace in the familiar comfort of takeout from TAIPEI 101. However, the nights still carry a tinge of concern, with the occasional recklessness on Academy Street and the disruptive rumble of trucks laden with oversized speakers testing the limits of tranquility. It's clear that some are testing the patience of the police, and perhaps, the community at large.

Streets of London Antiques is a charming and carefully curated antique shop that has been around since 1987. The store offers a wide range of high-quality, heavy wood furniture and delicate china sets displayed in glass hutches. The place is well-organized, making it easy to browse through the items on display. While the prices may not be cheap, the quality and durability of the pieces make them worth considering for those who appreciate timeless elegance.
INCREDIBLE antique store with imported, gorgeously crafted treasures. The folks helping us were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without being overbearing. The pieces there were beautiful, in immaculate condition, and very fairly priced based on quality. We can't wait to go back!

It’s a great antique shop located just outside downtown Cary. Lots of cool items and furniture, everything arranged well and clean. The staff is super friendly as well. But i did feel like a lot of the stuff was priced high.

Love this store! Tony was great. We had a great time chatting with him. Ended up buying a sideboard that we are very happy with. Spoke to Jill, the owner, on the phone who was very gracious to put the piece on hold until we could get there and make the purchase. We will return!

What a spectacular antique shop! Quite the hidden gem. You can tell that great care and love was taken in selecting each item showcased at Streets Of Londen Antiques. The place was so tidy and neat compared to other secondhand stores and antique shops we've been to. While we can't speak to the buying experience, YET! (We hope to do so in the future) You are welcomed the moment you walk in! Everything is layed out in a way that makes it easy to browse and look at items. I found the prices fair and reasonable for the age of the pieces and the charm is just unbeatable. Even the shed that matches the building looks like an old English barn. This place is a must visit. You're bound to find something you'll love!

Found this fantastic shop today, so glad we stopped by. Absolutely beautiful treasures (yes, some from England). Reasonable prices for well maintained antique furniture, some of which was incredible, much better than the other "Antique Shops" in the area. Stunning large ornate hand carved tables, and chairs. The stemware and china was sparkling! Met Tony, he was delightful. We found several pieces we loved. We will definitely return very soon.

I usually love this Kohls, but lately the staff has been rude and impatient. They changed the layout of the store- the checkout line, online pick ups and Amazon returns have all changed. On several occasions, employees have rudely raise their voice at customers who are confused on where to go. I had a Sephora return and in the past, they have accepted these returns in the main check out. When I got to the front, the lady rudely asked me if I already tried the Sephora register. I said I wasn’t aware I had to go there, she got annoyed and sent me over there. I have worked in retail and I know it’s stressful, but I hope the customer service will improve.
Jamie E — Google review
Signage for the Amazon return kiosk needs to be posted at the entrance to the store, directing you to its location. Several people, including myself, stood in the single, long checkout/return line only to be directed to the back corner of the store. The sign telling you the Amazon kiosk is in the rear corner of the store is beyond the checkout line, not visible until you enter the store, and pass the checkout section.

I went to buy some new jeans as I am going out of town. Upon going up to the register the cashier asked me if I wanted to apply for a credit card to which I said no. She asked me if I was 21 and I said no but continued insisting I get one and even told me to go get my drivers license out of my car so I could sign up. After going back and forth for a solid minute she finally backed off but proceeded to give me an attitude. Will not be returning to this location.

I was excited that I was able to find clothing and a purse that I wanted and needed on sale today since I drove an hour to the store. Meera, a sales associate, was very helpful and friendly to me when I was checking out..

Had an unpleasant checkout experience today. During checkout staff asked me to enter mobile number, when I said I’d use Kohl’s Pay, the staff insisted I enter my phone number for rewards. I asked if Kohl's pay would take care of rewards as well, and staff shut me down with - “I work here” in a dismissive tone . That felt unnecessarily rude, dismissive and unwelcoming. Without arguing further, I decided to check out without entering mobile number, and it turns out I did earn rewards automatically with Kohl’s Pay, just like I thought. Disappointing to see customers being misinformed so confidently. Staff could use a refresher on both system knowledge and customer service.

Great location near other store/places to eat. They have large inventory, hardly ever out of stock, friendly & helpful staff. They have an Ulta, employee was also friend & helpful, you do have to pay at their designated checkout if you want to purchase at Ulta.

This review is specifically for the girl in Ulta named Callie. I came in with my 11-year-old daughter who was super upset because she was getting pimples and being made fun of at school. Callie listened to her and hyped her up which was such a comfort to her when her self-esteem was pretty crappy. Callie told us that she's a cosmetologist as well, And she gave us some great recommendations that have done really well for my daughter's skin. (Who knew You could get personalized advice from a cosmetologist at Target???) But beyond the cosmetic results was really how she made my daughter feel. Every time we see her at Target, she remembers us.

I had a drive up order which is very important to me as I’ve injured my leg. A worker came out and told me it would be a second because it looked like there was a problem with the milk they picked out and they were changing it so I didn’t have any issues. Everybody that’s worked at this store has been super nice and has great stuff, especially their clearance sections
Stephanie B — Google review
Return staff hides in the back and takes at least 5 minutes to approach the desk. They have no training and take zero initiative. Returning a delivered item that took almost 7 days to arrive took 3 hours of our time and two trips to this location. The 1-day shipping which was restated as 2-day in less than 1 hour. Within 2-days it arrived in at a warehouse less than an hour away. They decided it needed to sit in the warehouse for the next 5 days. Meanwhile, we went to another merchant and had the same product in our hands in less than 4 hours. Unprofessional, low motivation, and far from quick delivery. Not worth your effort. Strongly consider another merchant.

However, be prepared for potentially long lines; even during off-peak hours, it’s not uncommon to encounter waits due to limited registers being open.

Every time I come to this location the line takes 30 minutes or more....why do I keep putting myself through this? So I loaded the first one, and the same person at register that the cashier spoke to came out. I didn’t want any assistance by then come to find out by reading her badge she was the manager. So whenever I come into this location I’m followed by employees, particularly two that I notice each time I come in. They try to make it look as if they’re fixing clothes on a hanger, but it’s too obvious to notice you’re being followed when each time you go to a new ale, an employee is magically adjusting clothes on either the same ale or the ale in front/behind you. I’m never asked if I need help, but yet I’m being followed. It’s disappointing and unfortunate. But I think what I’ll do is If I choose to visit this location again, I’ll come in with my lawyer badge, sometimes certain people need a reason as to why it’s no need to have to keep your eyes on every black shopper you know. 😑

This one is hard to write because I know Target can do better than this. I went in for a regular weekly Target run and had a considerable amount of items in my cart. When I got to checkout, there were no clerks at all, only self-checkout. It felt bizarre having to scan every single item myself, like I was shopping at Walmart. Because of the full cart, I held up the line for what seemed like 15 minutes. I’m not usually the one to complain, but this needs to change. Please open the checkout lanes!
Brian S — Google review

Ramon M — Google review
Drove to this specific store because an item I wanted was listed as being in stock. It wasn't. The person who helped me to check the stock in the back said they had only 1 in the store and to check customer service to see if it has been returned. They admitted the system will even let you place an order for pick up even if the item is out of stock, which seems like it would be a good thing to fix company-wide. The item wasn't even marked as "low stock" on the app. I spoke with the manager (Paige) to explain my disappointment, and that while understandably stock may be inaccurate, it would have been more courteous I'd they had offered to radio customer service to ask if there was stock there instead of telling me to check. I was polite to the manager, who just nodded and said "sure" without any apology, even when I mentioned the whole area (sporting goods) was very poorly stocked. I let her know she didn't seem to care and walked away while she wished me a good day. I think a robot would have been more interested in their store performance or customer dissatisfaction.

This location is a perfect reminder of why Drive Up is the better choice. The in-store experience can feel unnecessarily tense — like you’re being watched a little too closely for just trying to shop. It’s subtle, but noticeable. If you’re someone who doesn’t “look the part,” the vibe can shift quickly. Drive Up, on the other hand, treats everyone the same — no questions, no stares, just your order delivered with a smile.
C E — Google review
This isn’t the fastest Target with checkout, returns, or drive up. Location is nice. Plenty of parking. Thankfully within the last 2 years or so they opened up self checkout. I’m sure they will add more than 4 (hopefully). There used to be zero self checkouts and oh my that was brutal but adding them has made it much easier. I’d imagine this Target is stuck in the Durham/Cary hiring bubble making it a difficult to hire/staff location. So knowing that, they are doing the best they can. Cut them some slack for that. Holidays go to Beaver Creek because of checkout and selection but everyday quick needs this Target is just fine.
Tyler J — Google review
I went to this target Sunday, today. Not one single checkout person, no customer service, just a person for returns and waited in a line of over 20 people. I know the cost of target products are like every store that has a check out, labor costs are figured in the price. I will never go to this target again; Walmart is a much better option where they have both self checkout and many carriers. Shameful of target and thus store manager!!!

The best part though is by far the staff. Great customer service is hard to find these days and is greatly appreciated. Keep up the good work!

We went to see furniture items there, we dint buy furniture but we found it is a good place to find some cheap stuff. They offer a good deal on many items. One can buy kitchen, grocery, clothes (selected outfits), decor etc items from this place. Clearance stuff is also worth buying. Staff is really great.

I went into the Cary NC location to ask about price matching on a sofa, and was told by one of the staff members that they do not price match with competitors. However, they advertise that they do. He even went as far as to say that it has been a big issue with that advertisement. So I contacted customer support and found out that they actually DO price match with competitors. The staff needs to be properly trained on the polices.
Maria — Google review
This wasn't a shopping visit, but a pick up, delivery, and assembly mission for a friend. I personally found the Staff helpful and quite friendly. I have a habit of engaging Customer service persons in conversation about a variety of things, and I get a feel from the interaction which OFTEN gets me feedback on how much they like their jobs. I parted by giving the gentleman a handshake and wishing him a wonderful rest of the day! I would gladly patronize this Big Lots Store again, and I hope for a pleasant shopping experience!

Nice Big Lots and very clean. Prefer this one compared to the one off NC 55 in Durham. Come here and shop for things for my family home about 3x per year. Good selection of headphones, but gave only 4 stars since some of the items went up in price and are cheaper at the Dollar Stores. Usually very friendly checkout clerks.
Praveen S — Google review
Nice store, good selection but the help is so so slow. Everytime I go in there it takes over 10 minutes to ring someone up. Too many questions they ask you also while checking out. You can be personal and polite but speed up the checkout process. If 3 or 4 people in line they will not open another register. Once the full remodeling starts no telling how long it will take then.

Big Lots has changed over the years. However, the Staff has remained Outstanding. This locations Manager Khaled is Fantastic and it is obvious that he and his crew work well with each other. I shop from time to time, not as much as I used to. My most recent trip, I made up for in one purchase - that's for sure. Found exactly what I was looking for and thensome. So much is online ordering, which I understand, they seem to keep business still coming to the store location. It is nice to shop and have that F2F service/interaction. 🙂

We went to purchase a TV stand unfortunately the stand wasn’t a good fit for our us. Our experience was fantastic thanks to Key! She was very courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. If more furniture is required this location will be our first pick. First impressions are lasting and Key made a great one.

Burlington is a treasure trove for savvy shoppers, especially those on the hunt for brand-name clothing at budget-friendly prices. Many visitors have shared their experiences of finding great deals, particularly on popular brands like Juicy Couture. While some may describe the store as a bit messy, it’s not uncommon for discount retailers to have that vibe. During visits, customers often notice staff actively organizing and tidying up the aisles.
They had some good finds. My 16 year old is obsessed with juicy couture so I am no stranger to Burlington, and have been to every one of them from Fayetteville- Raleigh. I didn’t think the store was dirty. Sure it’s a little “messy” but I’ve never been in a discount store that wasn’t and while my daughter and I were there several employees were organizing and cleaning stuff. There were 2 people in line in front of us checking out but it was pretty late in the evening. You’re not a real Burlington shopper if you can’t get over a little mess and know that late night trips are the best trips.

The store was cluttered with items but had great deals. Wish it was neater, but the deals were amazing and saved me lots of money.

Some products and prices are good, but on weekends, they have huge lines, and just two cashiers are working! Please do it better, Burlington. You can… Cashier Tiffany is fantastic, friendly, and very fast! Such a good person, I saw she was running out of the store to catch a customer who forgot a bag! I guess the issue here is not enough employees or bad management!
Carla P — Google review
Good deals, horrible service. I guess you get what you pay for. Every time we stop here there are many registers but only 1 person checking people out. The line is always long and slow. This employer needs to manage the store better. The workers are doing fine but there are not enough people. I do not know what the issue is (low wages? No benefits?). I would not recommend this store to anyone and will work to avoid it whenever possible.

They have a lot of styles and options to choose from. Very spacious. The only thing is too less fitting room, have to wait for a long time and people expect you to be done in 5 min.

Good store with good collection of everything. Definitely better than Ross in terms of selection and availability of products..

I like this store; great shopping for all things you need.

Worst store to shop in ever ! Expect to spend 1 hour in the line before you can check out because they always have 1 employee in the register. Also, bring your own shopping cart cause they don’t have enough :(

Always love me some Ross! Good place and pretty clean. Stocked pretty good compared to a lot of Ross stores I’ve been in. Would recommend

Most unorganized location I have been too. Store Manager is always arrogant and talk down to his employees IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS. Will visit other locations in the future.
BeadifulCreations — Google review
Manager Nina was rude and wouldn't accept my return even though it is within 30 days. Tag still in tact and receipt in hand. She said the shoes looked like they were worn when they haven't been. Asked for district managers number and she couldn't provide it, told me to Google it.
LifeOfTheCrays — Google review
The store is not bad, but the fact that it closed one of the fitting rooms during a back-to-school weekend is surprising, to say the least. The only available fitting room in front of the store had a line of 5 or 6 people waiting, so we just decided to buy and return later if something doesn't fit well. Not sure why they do this
Ilya S — Google review
Rude associates. Thankfully 1 cashier was pleasant. Was looking through the rugs on the shelves and folded them neatly back on the shelves when done. (The rugs looked better than before because they were a mess at first). Midway through the rugs, an associate came and snatched the stack we were looking at and set them off to the side and rearranged the rugs back to exactly how we had them *eyeroll*. Not sure if she was having a bad day or what but her attitude wasn’t pleasant. She could’ve at least waited until we were done. Overheard her talking to another associate saying we were making a mess when we weren’t...better off driving extra to go to a different location (Glenwood)

Terrible! Dressing room closed except front of the store area. Stood in line for almost 40 minutes to try on clothes. Then the line for checkout was extremely long as well with few cashiers. I have noticed several Ross stores in the past few months with seemingly just an ill regard for their customers.
Janice B — Google review
I don’t usually have any issues with this store. However, don’t buy sheets or any package you have to open. I bought king size sheets and the fitted sheet was the wrong size. They would not let me return them even though they were defective. Lesson learned. Just be careful what you buy there.
