Drive-in movie theater
Movie theater
Brazos Drive-In is a pet-friendly, cash-only admission single-screen drive-in theater in Granbury, Texas. It has been operating since 1952 and offers a unique charm that attracts visitors from all over. The theater allows carload payments and provides an old-school drive-in experience with a large grassy area for kids to play under the screen.
My family and I have been going to this drive in for years! They are always friendly the price is just right and we always have a lot of fun here! If you’re looking for somewhere to spend some great family time this is the place to go!
Jennifer F — Google review
This was a great experience. The parking spots were good sized, grass well kept and frankly one of the best movie experiences I have had in a while. Two full sized trucks could park next to each other without feeling crammed. The kids loved being able to sprawl out in the bed of the pickup and watch a movie. The sound plays over the radio so you can use your car, personal radio or rental radio ( rental is $5). They price by the car for admission so again, great deal. The concessions stand was pretty darn good for prices too. There was even seating there. No complaints, will definitely be back again.
Rob P — Google review
We had a great time always loved the drive inn. Love going it is like stepping back in time when life was a lot simpler and relaxing time and no worries.. Thank you Jared and Joann for keeping that life going for the future generations to come and family atmosphere we love y’all and the babies love Gar y an Melody and Jett
Gary S — Google review
This place has been here for 73 years and still running strong. A fantastic option for just getting out of the house and taking in the night air, seeing the moon and stars, and creating your own comfort. A porch w/ chairs also. Really good fried food from the concession stand. Bathroom situation can be challenging on busy nights. Really good for a night of nostalgia and fun.
Bobby F — Google review
I love this movie theater and staff and you can'tbeat the price. We make amazing memories with all our out of town friends and family. I love watching the kids playing under the screen while we wait for the movie to start. Making new friends, memories and just living their best summer lives.
Christa C — Google review
We’ve enjoyed the Brazos Drive In for years now. It’s such a classic nostalgic feel. It is an absolute must while visiting Granbury. A great way to reminisce the past and an awesome way to create new memories for future generations.
Salongirlbrandy — Google review
Had a wonderful time at this drive in, plenty of space between cars, lots of open space for small kids to run around, the audio through the radio was very clear, very clean and well maintained. Definitely worth a visit! Fun for the whole family or just a nice date night spot, or even a solo trip to enjoy a movie!

Granbury Square, located in the heart of Granbury, Texas, is a charming historic destination bustling with activity. The square is surrounded by boutique shops, art galleries, and delightful restaurants. Visitors can take a leisurely stroll around the area to admire its unique architecture and immerse themselves in the city's past by visiting attractions like the Hood County Jail Museum and the Granbury Opera House.
Very nice place to wander, with lots to do: shopping, drinking, eating, etc. Do venture off the square though, as there is more to explore. My favorites, Bob's off the Square, Brewdrinkery, and a new crepe place with sweet and savory options.
Eric W — Google review
Very quaint town square with lots of cute little shops and restaurants. There is a free parking lot just a little off the square if you don’t want to fight traffic on a busy day.
Jaimie J — Google review
The Historic Granbury Square, located in Granbury, Texas, is a vibrant blend of rich history, charming architecture, and small-town hospitality. Established in the late 1800s, the square is anchored by the iconic Hood County Courthouse, a striking example of Second Empire-style architecture that remains the heart of the community. Surrounding the courthouse are beautifully restored 19th-century buildings, which now house a variety of unique boutiques, antique stores, cozy cafes, wine bars, and fine dining establishments. One of the standout attractions on the square is the Granbury Opera House, which dates back to 1886. Restored to reflect its original grandeur, the opera house hosts live performances year-round, adding to the town’s cultural appeal. Visitors can also explore the old Hood County Jail, now a museum that tells stories of the town’s colorful past, including legends of famous outlaws like Jesse James and even whispers that John Wilkes Booth once lived there under an alias. The square isn’t just about history—it’s also a hub for community life. Throughout the year, it comes alive with festivals, art shows, and live music events. Farmers markets and seasonal celebrations make it a lively place for both residents and tourists. With its picturesque setting, walkable layout and sit out outside
Yugo — Google review
This is quaint little town where you can hang out, walk, dine, shop, and just enjoy the day. There are many shops to walk in and enjoy a glass of wine, an ice cream, or a meal.
Joel O — Google review
Lots to see an do, loved all the unique stores and restaurant options. Felt safe to walk at night and was just a fun place to be.
Liz H — Google review
Just drove in for a few hours to check out the vibe. Didn't take many photos but next time I will.
Paul S — Google review
We spent a Saturday roaming the myriad shops on the square and supporting a community wide lemonade sale for charity. If you enjoy a lively yet subdued stroll around an old town square, this is the place for you!
Jeremy H — Google review
My mom, son, and I visited again this past weekend after a very long time. I probably spent more time than I should have at 1890, which is a spice, balsamic vinegar, and olive oil shop. We walked around the square for a couple of hours and visited the Arts & Letters bookstore also, and I fell in love. I should have taken pictures. The upstairs loft has a sitting area for kid friendly reading also.

The Granbury Opera House, a historic venue located in the heart of Granbury's downtown square, has been meticulously restored to its former glory. Originally built in 1886, this iconic building features elegant twin curved staircases, imported chandeliers, and original limestone walls. The intimate seating arrangement ensures an exceptional view from every seat. Home to the Granbury Theatre Company, the Opera House hosts live musicals and comedies while also offering theater education programs.
Amazing place and the shows are always so good! We get season tickets because we never want to miss one. It is pretty chilly inside so I always take a little sweater so I can enjoy the show and not be cold.

Absolutely delighted! I am a nerd. But a nerd that will turn on my favorites getting poor renditions - this Pride and Prejudice play was done so well - I know so many of the lines by heart and the way they collapsed storylines without compromising the story - it was done so well. They did a great job and I don't have one thing to say bad about it.
Chelsae H — Google review
just saw Young Frankenstein!! it was our first time watching a musical in person and it did not disappoint!! the performance was phenomenal. we fell in love with the characters and actors by the end. the absolute talent, staging and energy were outstanding and left us wanting more. thank you so much for an unforgettable performance!
Jenny N — Google review
We have been coming to the opera house since I was a child. They use amazing local talent to produce classic musicals and plays. We recently saw Singin’ in the Rain and Pride and Prejudice. There a great little candy store next door to grab a sweet treat before the play.
Sharla H — Google review
The show was so much fun! The one thing that wasn't great is when you're seated on the end, seats A 19 &20, there's a lot of times when part of the show is blocked by either props or actors. The place was really clean. My only complaint about the establishment is I wish they had a concessions type area, especially for drinks!
Cody B — Google review
Watched Elf, the musical. We loved the show, but the only reason we didn't give five stars is because to many very little kids that their parents wouldn't keep them quiet or take them out in the lobby. There should be an age limit. No babies. Update: My wife and I have been coming here for years. Besides Elf, everything else has been good. We just went to watch White Christmas, the play. It was very good. I liked the guy who walked really slow with a funny grin. My wife liked the lady in red who stayed behind the desk with a red dress. She was very funny and good at what she did. Update as of March 2, 2024: My wife and I just watched "My Fair Lady," and we loved it.

Gorgeous theater! Just saw Mary Poppins jr. I have to say, I was really impressed. The best money 💰 I have spent in a long time! I just moved to the area and this was my first experience here and I look forward to going again and again and again… Awesome job to everyone involved.

Fabulous and quaint place. The play we saw was “The Scrooge”. The actors were superb and the production itself couldn’t have been better. We loved it, the authenticity, the staff, the opera house itself. We will definitely go back.

The Hood County Museum is an 1885 historic town jail that showcases numerous artifacts and offers tours of both the cells and sheriff's quarters. The museum is a must-visit for history enthusiasts with its plethora of informative displays, while others will appreciate the unique architecture of the upstairs jail. Additionally, visitors can immerse themselves in ghost stories connected to the building's past.
Nice tour! This jail was used until 1979. Tone of memorabilia with lots of information on the inmates. Jail has a connection with the Franklin Tennessee battle. If history is your thing it's worth the visit.
Max W — Google review
Make sure they’re open beforehand. Tried going Saturday around 3, they were closed even though the sign said they closed at 4. Then tried to go today (10/19 Sunday) at 1:30 and they were still closed. We had a big family trip and we wanted to see this (and the Yeats-Duke (also closed w/ same hours btw) but nothing. Tried to call in the parking lot and got immediately sent to voicemail. Please change your hours or include holiday hours if there were events. Would’ve been really cool to see and explore.

Our visit was amazing. We were even able to get Ms Karen’s guidance. She is awesome. . The story of the jail was interesting.
Laszlo D — Google review
I loved this place! Got to learn about the jail and the county around it. We also got to see and go inside the the jail cell. It was great! The lady was very nice and knew a lot about the area
Audrey U — Google review
This museum itself was great. The front desk staff were incredibly rude. We came as a group with two children and one of them was a little frustrated when we first entered. We paid our bail and wrote our names down excitedly. While his aunt was trying to tell him that he needed to calm down or he would not join the museum tour, the front desk staff was starting the beginning of the tour without any warning. Instead of waiting for the aunt to finish getting the child in order, the older lady turned her face into a very rude snear and actually yelled at the aunt “can you tell her to shut up!” I have never experienced such a rude worker at any museum I’ve been to. She tried to make it throughout the tour by making jokes and being kind to the child when he apologized but overall it ruined the mood as well as the experience. If the staff is unable to handle children being a little fussy then they should have it be an adults only museum vs yelling at paying customers.
Haley R — Google review
The Hood County Jail and Historical Museum was such a great find! It was surprisingly dog friendly, although we held our little terriers most of the tour. The docents there are very knowledgeable and passionate about the Jail history and the history of Hood County. Upstairs has the jail holding areas, and downstairs has the old sheriff's quarters. There is also a few rooms that are dedicated more to Hood County history and have a museum feel to it. Our docent was super friendly and also took us over to see the historical cabin a few doors down. Highly recommended for any history buff!

Granbury City Beach Park is a picturesque public beach located on the shores of Lake Granbury, offering a range of activities for visitors. With its sandy shoreline and shimmering blue waters, it's an ideal spot to soak up the Texas sun. The park features sand volleyball courts, a splash pad for kids, picnic pavilions, and a boardwalk. Visitors can enjoy swimming in the lake or simply relax on the beach with a good book.
Nice place to bring the kids for the day. No grilling so bring food already made or sandwiches. Splash pad there but closed Mondays for cleaning. At least that's what the sign said. There are covered picnic tables spread out throughout the beach. And also a walkway over the water to enjoy a peaceful walk and enjoy the scenery because this place was beautiful! Water was pretty warm but what do ya expect it was August when we went. Needless to say we didn't stay for very long in the water. To warm . But we did enjoy the time we spent here

Very Nice public beach / swim area. Great location for families..kid friendly. Park is kept up and easy to get into with plenty of options for parking. Very close to downtown Granbury for food and snack options before or after beach time.

The restaurant is highly recommended by locals and offers a unique dining experience that combines local flavors with history. The menu features a variety of options including small plates, soups, salads, entrees, and desserts.
The food was simply incredible - a circus of flavors that all complimented each other. I had the best pork I've ever eaten in my lifetime! Truly amazing! The only thing better was our service! Martha was gracious, smart, personal, and made the night absolutely perfect!!!
David W — Google review
1890 is a true hole-in-the-wall gem, and it’s almost unbelievable that it’s in Granbury—it could easily hold its own in Dallas and absolutely thrive. The food is outstanding and consistently excellent, and the service is top-notch. They have a small shop where you can buy dressings and spice rubs. It’s set in a charming, old-fashioned atmosphere, it’s a perfect spot for a date night, family dinner, or special occasion, as it’s guaranteed to meet expectations. I highly recommend the duck. We gladly make the hour-and-a-half drive whenever we get the chance—it’s just that good.
Shelby — Google review
This place is a must try. This may be the first time I’ve ever given a 10/10 rating to a restaurant on my first visit. The food was delicious, the restaurant has a wonderful decor and the service was exceptional!! Maezie our server and Meagan our server in training were just terrific. They treated us as if we were the only ones in the restaurant. The manager whose name I believe is Martha is the absolute best!! We will definitely be back.

Came here for my dads birthday and so glad we did. The food was incredible and the service and atmosphere were top notch! Can’t wait to come back!
B L — Google review
We booked this restaurant as our first meal in Texas after a long drive and it could not have been better. Everyone was so welcoming and the service was attentive throughout our meal. The wine list was impressive and I enjoyed my cocktail which was well-made. You have to start with the Texas Trilogy as an appetizer. All 3 were mouth watering. While my companion's steak was cooked to his specifications and delicious, I did not regret getting the pan seared duck. It paired perfectly with the grits and the portion was exactly what I wanted after the appetizers. Definitely visit here for a special occasion or date night if you're in Granbury!
Kristen K — Google review
This was an awesome restaurant..great wait staff(Damien) and great food…not to be missed if visiting Granbury. Pork chop and duck were best we’ve ever.

10 out of 10! I wish I would have thought to take pictures of the beautiful plated food we ordered. The appetizers, entrees, and dessert we had were all fantastic. And our waiter, Anthony, went above and beyond! Excellent service. When we go back, we will be asking for him for sure! Definitely making another visit soon.
Mary-Robin C — Google review
This was an absolutely spectacular experience for both of us. The staff was attentive and engaging. The food was amazing, cooked to perfection from appetizers to the main dish. The decor was refreshing and elegant. The artwork was from a local artist and added to the ambiance of the room. This is a definite return visit. We heard that the upstairs is even better.

Revolver Brewing, a family-owned craft brewery located in Granbury, Texas, offers Saturday tours featuring tastings, live music, and on-site food vendors. Founded by father and son Ron and Rhett Keisler along with Master Brewer Grant Wood, this microbrewery has quickly gained recognition in the Texas craft beer industry for its popular labels like Sidewinder and Blood & Honey. Visitors can enjoy brewery tours from 12 to 3 p.m.
Still making fantastic beer almost 12 years later! Family and furry-friends friendly, tons of inside and outside seating, GREAT beer!
Lindsey — Google review
It was a 5 star for me until recently. Something changed and I hoped to get in touch through their website but seems like most every other company it has become virtually impossible. So I will leave my complaint and review here. When I first tasted Revolver Brewing Blood and Honey many years back, I became an instant fan. However, my last purchase some days back, my favorite beer wasn't available in bottles. So I purchased the available 12 pack in cans. The taste and flavor from this packaging has been the worst ever. Horrible! It is not the Blood and Honey I've grown to enjoy so much. Please don't do away with glass bottles and DUMP the cans. Thank you. J A G
JORGE G — Google review
Everything there was good and a great price, product and atmosphere, except for the older white haired guy that worked at the outdoor pavilion was a jerk. It was 10 minutes before closing, but said the bar was closed. My husband said it's not 430. He said, I don't care what they said inside ....We don't have any CO2. He did have canned beer that he could have given us. But just didn't give a crap. Another guy at the bar committed on how the sam guy had a bad attitude earlier when he asked if he could taste something and told him no you just get it and gave him a full beer and took a ticket.
Jeanette C — Google review
It’s a drive from Dallas but worth it for a good Saturday. Whole experience was great. For 20 bucks you get a wristband for 6 pours of the many options of beers. Plenty plenty of space under the shade and out in the sun. Live singers when I was there. Very glad I finally made the trip out and see it for myself.
Willie R — Google review
Although Revolver is more of a destination brewery for anyone living in DFW, it's worth Saturday afternoon visit. For $15, you get 6, 8 ounce pours of any of the 30 or so beers/selzers on tap. A lot of them you can't get in stores. You get to keep the glass. They have semi indoor and outdoor seating, with live music and a food truck. It was a fun time for my friends and myself.
Kaitlin B — Google review
So happy to finally have made it out to their brewery! Very Large property, nicely set up for visiting and great outdoor area with food truck , music stage and games. Beer of course was great and I had fun talking with the staff about the brewery. Looking forward to going back.

If you are looking for clear blue skies and a great place to drink Texas beer, look no further than Revolver Brewing in Granbury. They are only open to the public on Saturday afternoons, but it is worth the wait. Patrons over 21 pay $15 for a souvenir cup and 4 to 6 sample pours depending on the time of arrival. The beer is tasty and it is a fun atmosphere with live music. Several shaded pavilions available for large parties. Dogs are permitted in the outdoor areas.
Jamie C — Google review
Epically huge brewery, perfect for a family picnic. Every $10 glass to keep comes with four short pours of their best options - always Blood and Honey, but also plenty of brewery-only options. Way out there, so plan for a trip. Barbecue table was set up on a recent Saturday.

I can't believe I never knew this was here! I'd been camping in Glen Rose nearby as a young adult, but I'd never heard of Fossil Rim until we visited with my Uncle. I'd never been to a drive through Safari park before, and this was such a great experience. Buy the bags of animal food before you go in (I'm pretty sure that you can only buy the animal food at the entrance). There is a gift shop and Cafe at the halfway point you can stop at. Our favorite part was feeding the giraffes! They like to stick their heads right in the car! We didn't do the other activities at Fossil Rim because a storm moved in, but we had a great visit nonetheless.

I've come multiple times, and not one time was I ever bored into wanting to leave. Multiple fairly long trails to keep your eyes out on fun critters, birds, and reptiles. Let's talk about animals I've seen here, then I'll get into more detail about the layout... As far as arthropods, if you are looking to see bees, wasps, and other pollinators, there are so many flowered areas to explore off the sides of the trail. Phyllophaga cribrosa, a species of flightless scarab also emerges here and seeing them on the trail is fun. I've seen warrior beetles, beautiful butterflies including pipevines and eastern giant swallowtails. I've seen many beetle groups I don't have at home including fascinating meloids and I also love coming here to see the solitary wasp species. View photos below and also check out the Inaturalist project for Acton nature center if you are curious as to what I and others have seen... Reptiles, I see many lizards and on occasion snakes. I see frogs. I've seen rabbits, squirrels, and many fun birds up in the trees. Now back to the layout, the trails lead up to a avairian observation station where you can contribute to data collection on birds sighted in the area. There's a koi pond next to that and a windmill which I believe connects to a bathroom... In conclusion, if you want to get out with the family and observe some nature, this is definitely a beautiful place. Flowers are stunning year round. There are bugs of course everywhere, and also stay cautious and supervise kids as rattlesnakes have been sighted in the area. If you want to see more local insect stuff specifically, follow my bug page on Instagram and YouTube, @leifcollectsbugs. I contribute lots of data on local inverts here in Texas...

Such a beautiful place. There were a couple of photographers taking professional photos. What a beautiful background. There is a wonderful bird blind. I saw some painted bunting. I was so excited. I did almost step on a non venomous snake. The flowers are so beautiful!!

Nestled in the heart of Granbury's main square, Farina's Winery & Cafe is a delightful culinary destination that transports you to a bygone era. With an extensive menu featuring everything from artisan cheeses and hearty sandwiches to delectable pizzas and steaks, there's something for every palate. The ambiance is enhanced by a stunning bar that has its roots in Chicago, adding a touch of history with tales of legendary figures like Al Capone.
My husband and I were visiting Granbury for the first time. We went to Farina’s for dinner and received great customer service as soon as we walked in. Our waitress was Payton! She was amazing and soo sweet! Payton recommended a delicious wine and took care of us the whole time. We ordered spaghetti and baked chicken Alfredo! Everything was delicious! We will definitely be back again!

This was my wife and I first time coming here. I've seen alot of people on Google maps say high remarks about the baked lasagna. My lasagna didn't taste very well. It taste like it was spoiled or had some kind of alcohol in it. My wife tried a bite of my lasagna and she said the same thing. My wife had the chicken alfredo and it was good. Both our salads was very good. We'll cone back to give them another chance, but will not order the lasagna.
David W — Google review
It’s just ok and pricey. I love bruschetta and some how it was less than mediocre here. The pizza was fresh out the oven which was nice but it burnt us and had no flavor. Our server was fantastic though. As others have commented please use seasoning!
Jacqueline H — Google review
I have to be honest, our food (pasta dishes) were good, but not fabulous. Both my girlfriend and I love to cook, so we were a little disappointed. We both agree more basil, garlic and oregano would really enhance both dishes. I will say it was a big community celebration weekend, and they were busy. The ambience was fabulous. It’s a fun place. The best part of the evening was our server Heather. She was delightful. She was extremely busy, serving the bar, where we sat. In spite of how busy she was, we never wanted for anything, nor had to wait. She’s bubbly, obviously enjoys what she does, and provides top notch service. We’d go back and hope that Heather was there! Thank you Heather for making our first Granbury Farina’s experience so fun.

This little cafe is AMAZING! The staff is so friendly and the food is super yummy & affordable. My husband had a salad and fettuccine Alfredo. I had a pasta salad and turkey sandwich. All of the food was unique, delicious, and filling. 100% recommend!

Heather the bartender is the best! She makes a great old fashioned! The creme brulee is awesome! However there are no Stakes available on the menu and the pasta is seriously lacking in a flavor. Don't get me wrong I love Granbury and I hope the best for all of our really great restaurants but we should really try harder!

Farina's Winery & Cafe is a true Granbury gem, a cozy and intimate spot that feels like a European escape without the jet lag. It's the kind of place you'll want to linger in, sipping wine and savoring every bite. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with exposed brick, soft lighting, and a charming courtyard that's perfect for a romantic evening or a relaxed get-together with friends. The food is the star of the show. The menu offers a delicious mix of Italian-inspired dishes and American classics, all executed with a touch of elegance. The Caprese sandwich is a standout, with its fresh mozzarella, juicy tomatoes, and vibrant pesto. Another must-try is the Farina's Famous Lasagna, a rich and comforting dish that's a testament to traditional Italian cooking. The generous wine list features a fantastic selection of Texas wines alongside notable international labels, with knowledgeable staff ready to help you find the perfect pairing for your meal. Beyond the food and wine, the service is impeccable—attentive but never intrusive, and genuinely welcoming. Whether you're a local or just passing through, Farina's is a culinary experience you won't forget. It's more than just a restaurant; it's a destination. If you're looking for a place that combines great food, a relaxed ambiance, and excellent service, Farina's Winery & Cafe is an absolute must-visit.

We had our wedding and reception at Farina's and it was lovely! Mel did a great job preparing us and asking all the right questions. The food was delicious and so many of our guests said they would be back to eat there. The patio and castle room was perfect for our party of about 65. This is a great place to have a wedding! Local Goat Distillery is a charming spot just off the square that offers a cozy and modern atmosphere. The distillery not only serves up smooth and upscale drinks, including specialty cocktails made with vodka and rum, but also provides a great place for socializing with friends or enjoying a night out. Additionally, they offer service industry discounts during their reverse happy hour. Visitors can also enjoy live music on certain nights while sipping on popular drinks like the Sour Goat.
Fabulous vodka with plans to start brewing beer... I mean, really, it hardly gets better. Great people. Tasty and simple food. You’ve gotta check this place out!

Great little place to come for a small plate and cocktail. They have a somewhat limited menu but so far the premium chicken street tacos and the Rogers Nacos were amazing. Of the drinks the tropical rumosa was a little more bland than I thought it would be. My husband had the jalapeno infused bloody Mary and it was amazing. Just enough heat for flavor but didnt overwhelm your palate. Definitely a good go to place.
Veronica F — Google review
Really enjoyed this place, the owner gave us a tour of his distillery and did a great job! The drinks are very good and the food was very good! Great place to hangout with friends with unique drinks yet amazing!
Aureliano Z — Google review
My husband and I went to the Local Goat Distillery on a date night. We hadn't heard much about it before going, but we like to try new things when we have the occasion to. This was one of those times where it worked out perfectly! The Distillery has a modern, yet cozy atmosphere. We happened to go on a night that there was live music, lucky for us. The drinks were smooth, upscale and delicious. The popular drink is the Sour Goat (pretty sure it is the name, not 100% though). It is topped with foam and a stencil of a goat (picture posted), it was sooooo good. The cops and salsa are definitely worth getting, as well as the Elotes (corn on the cob) and their street tacos are amazing. Service was friendly and attentive, we will most definitely be visiting again!

This is a really cool place to stop and hang out . It’s close to the park so after your walk stop by and have a drink. We sat out in the porch and it was very pleasant. Atmosphere is good and the decor is spot on. Bartenders are cool and they have a good selection. I had the apple mule and my fiancé had the vodka Rita which she loved. The charcuterie was good too. We will stop back in when we visit Granbury again.
Christopher N — Google review
I've been here twice since they opened 3 weeks ago and the service is always wonderful, even better are the drinks! They have specialty cocktails made with vodka and rum. A great descriptive menu on what drinks they have to offer! It's a wonderful place for a night cap or girls night out! I plan on making this a regular place for me and the girls after work, they offer service industry discounts ( a reverse happy hour) that start a 9 til close which give a discount if your in the service industry!!
Kalan D — Google review
We came for the farmers market! We stayed for the bloody marys and tacos!!! Wow!!! Everything is crafted by hand!! I was hesitant coming here, because I'm a craft beer fan. Boy, I didn't know what I was missing!!! Excellent food, laid back atmosphere and WONDERFUL staff!!!
Trisha G — Google review
Interesting cocktails and food. The bacon + brie sandwich was particularly tasty. Some staff were very helpful in providing suggestions, which I always appreciate when trying someplace new. It would be a 5-Star review if not for the loudly complaining staff at the end of the bar complaining ad nauseam about how much they hated the people who had just hosted a party there, and how ready they were to go. We were visiting during normal dinner hours, not near closing time, but felt rushed to leave to give them a breather. Hey, it’s hot... it’s Texas... and big groups are a pain. We’ll give it another try for sure!

Lovely store in Historic Downtown Granbury. The curated collection of unique items they offer is different from other local shops. Jeannine S — Google review
I liked... • their neat selection of items • the friendly staff • the location I did not like... • that most items are over-priced, even for a downtown shop • the lack of organization • a rather silly policy regarding gift certificates (details below) My wife and I were given a $40 gift certificate to this store earlier this year. While browsing the store, we only found about $20 worth of items we wanted to purchase, but when we got to the counter, we were told that the certificate did not hold a balance. In other words, we could spend up to $40, but unless we did so all in one trip, the rest of the money (which was graciously spent on the gift certificate) would be forfeit to St. Helen’s. We were able to rummage around and find a few more items that somewhat interested us, so we didn’t waste the gift that had been given to us. HOWEVER, I now have very little interest in returning to the shop. If I had spent $20 and still had a gift certificate that had $20 left on it, I would be interested in coming back in a month or two and seeing what new items they had (who knows, maybe spend some money on top of the gift certificate). But since I don’t have a store credit, I do not expect to return, especially considering the generally high prices of items in the store.

This place was awesome! Super friendly staff both times we went! The first time we visited was due to our air b&b not having mugs. We found the most adorable mugs upstairs! Incredible courthouse with French 2nd Empire style with beautiful Texas sandstone. The wooden blinds inside the courtroom are definitely worth admiring, so is the massive safe. The county was named after Confederate general John Bell Hood. After having been severely wounded during the war, with an amputated leg and a paralyzed arm, he ended up dying days after his wife from the yellow fever in 1878 in New Orleans, leaving his ten surviving children orphaned and penniless. They were all eventually adopted by different families in the US.

I love our charming Courthouse! A must see! It's quite fascinating inside as well. ALOT of history in there, too. Back in July 2013, I had a moving experience of being in the old-time courtroom with the Granbury Theater Company when we put on the musical production "1776!". We did it again in 2014 in the new and gorgeously renovated Granbury Opera House! (Another must see!) To portray our founding fathers there really felt like being in the year of our great nation's Independence! I'll never forget that feeling as long as I live!!!

Great Bathrooms, very clean, big enough to clean up in. Playgrounds, lots of parking, dock, fishing. Picnic areas and tables, well maintained!! Some of best Parks workers!!! Near Downtown Square & across from City Beach and water walk ways. About 1 1/2 of walking paths.

Great space for the kiddos to rip around and enjoy everything from the playground to the waters edge. Plenty of 🐢 and 🦆 about. A picnic spot with tables all around. Enclosure for larger events as well. Restrooms are enclosed and easly accessible by all.

Lots of fun for the little people! The park is covered with a sun shade for those sunny days. There are several slides, a swing set, and plenty of benches. Best part is it's across the street from the swim beach.

The playground is covered in spiderwebs. There must be 100 out here. It’s very disappointing that the city can’t take care of a park and keep dangerous bugs off of this that scare my children.

Kids love this park. Always clean. Great location and it has bathrooms. We love to picnic here!

Shanley Park, located in the heart of Granbury, is a picturesque and clean space perfect for a leisurely picnic or a relaxing stroll. The park features a three-mile route with concrete shoulders that connects to the Granbury Airport and offers a peaceful ambiance with its waterfall and river bridges. During Christmas time, the park dazzles with an impressive display of lights, making it an ideal spot for family outings and professional photo opportunities.
Shanley Park and Granbury is one of the most peaceful locations in all of Texas! Old town shopping with lovely mom and pop style stores and cafes are all in close proximity to the park. Shanley Park has several active water sculptures. There is one that is great to run through on a hot day. On the lake side across from the park is a swimming beach, and there are ski boats and paddle boards out on the water. Granbury is a little slice of Home Town Americana, the way it was meant to be.

Beautiful park and great trail. Good mixture of sun lit paths and shade. Very clean and beautiful memorials.

Better fishing than expected. Never went here for that aspect because I simply underestimated the amount of density and diversity... Catfish, Largemouth, 3 species of sunfish including bluegill, longear sunfish, and green sunfish, and speculated there's crappie and white bass. The park for visitors who don't wish to fish is pleasant in its own regard as well. Many holiday lights making a great walking scene and it's nearby the town square which often hosts many events with vendors. Great little nook here in Granbury and definitely worth checking out. Also lots of turtles... Which are pleasant to view while walking, but less fun to catch.

What a gem tucked in a couple of blocks off the square! Beautiful and peaceful with fountains and the canal. There is a bike/walking trail through the park that loops back through the square. It's an easy 1-mile walk. I visited both days I was in town.

The first thing that I've noticed every single time I've gone is that it's always really clean. The way everything is set up with the waterfall and the bridges over the river it's just peaceful and gorgeous. We usually go Christmas time because they have an amazing amount of lights and it's really fun to take the kids. There's so much to see during Christmas time and so many wonderful picture opportunities as far as professional photos are concerned. This is definitely a place to visit!

Pretty park but getting run down. Bridge closed off and in need of repair for more than a year now. Stones falling from it. Same with under street bridge. Water has a solid green algae layer, lots of debris and fountains no longer work. Some uneven and bare walking spots in need of repair. Trail leads to city park but is not a circle. You will need to go back the way you came.

A nice, quiet park just a block off of the square. Shady walk beneath giant pecan and oak trees. Very relaxing.
