just visited the Basilica of Our Lady Immaculate in Guelph, and it was seriously impressive! I'm always on the lookout for stunning landmarks, and this one definitely delivered. Inside, it's so peaceful and beautiful. The light streaming through the colorful stained glass windows was magical. You can really feel the history and the importance of the place. It's the kind of place that makes you stop and just take it all in. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Guelph. It's easy to find, and wandering around inside is a great way to spend some time. It gives you a real sense of the city's character and history.

A beautiful church (Basilica ) constructed in 1800s . Awasom construction I have checked the mass timings on the church site , so that was able to participate in the mass of 11 am on Sunday Inside the church it's very calm and buetiful.. well lighted (naturally) with colour full stained glass Highly recommended to visit at least once if you pass through Guelph

This is one of my favorite historic site in Ontario. inside and out are so stunning, well detailed. Though I not visiting church like other Christian I would say I will be regular here if I am living in this area. So beautiful, if you see the interior of the church you definitely be in 'awe' moment.

I visited the BASILICA OF OUR LADY IMMACULATE today, which is in Guelph. It was a half an hour drive from my place in Waterloo and I have been wanting to visit the Bascillica for the longest time ever. Although the website said the Basilica closes at 3 pm, we were able to visit and pray in peace when we reached there at 3:30 pm. The place has a very calm and soothing vibe, it's very peaceful and beautiful. I spent around 20 minutes there talking to GOD. And then witnessed the amazing architecture. One should visit the Bascillica if they need a break from the busy world and want some peace and time to talk to GOD. Don't forget your 3 wishes if you're visiting the Bascillica for the first time. 🤭

Beautiful basilica! I love coming here during the weekdays, with no one around to calm my mind in thoughtful prayer. I’m in absolute awe with the artistic intricacy and architecture, both interior and exterior. The stain glass windows come to life as the sun shines through it. Beautiful all year round.

Was here for a wedding and I have to say the place is immaculate, the intricate details, the paintings, the stain glass. I mean it was was just amazing to behold. The ceremony was flawless, and the sound when the organ played...wow, highly reccomend a visit

This beautiful, historic limestone church has been serving Guelph for over 150 years. The first Friday of the month features an hour of calming music, starting at 11 am.

St George's Anglican Church is located in Guelph On. I visited this church with my BF because she lives in Guelph. It's a friendly church the people and priest is very welcoming. After service you can mix and mingle with a cup of coffee, or tea and cookies.

Beautiful church, although I was there for a funeral. I did find this cheeky little sign in their ladies washroom quite amusing.

Went to Norfolk street for some reason. I just stopped in front of this beautiful architecture and took this photo. If anyone knows please let me know, is it Guelph's oldest church? I found this info somewhere on the internet but want to know if it is correct.

Great church and a huge supporter of community arts. I was there for the Kiwanis music festival. The office staff are great and the venue is perfect for performances and educational work.

Had a wonderful night out of the candlelight concert featuring Vivaldi's four seasons. Sat in the uncomfortable upstairs seating, and had The misfortune of sitting behind a column that blocked my view of the performers. I'm sure I would have rated this a little bit higher if I had full view and was more comfortable. You are seated by sections or zones instead of by individual seats so on the one hand, you get to choose where you sit. On the other hand, if you don't arrive early you will probably end up with unfavorable seats.

Candlelight Concert, tribute to Adele was beautiful and lovely! Musicians were excellent, candles added so much ambiance!! Perfect Valentine's Day ❤️

Such a beautiful evening. Experiencing this high calibre of musical talent without driving to Toronto is such a gift. We were seated second row, so close you could almost touch the stage. Feeling the emotion from the musicians and being that close to experience their body language so intimately added another layer for me as my past experiences of classical music have been in larger venues. Thank you to everyone who made this happen. 🙏

Beautiful old venue for music and performances. I felt like I was sitting with ghosts. Seating is on the main floor as well as along the wrapping balcony on the second floor leading to a really dramatic framing of the performance; columns towering over the performers. Conveniently located right downtown, just a few blocks from the trains and busses and near food and drinks. The candlelit string performance was lovely to attend.

You have to attend one of these beautiful evenings. The musicianship is stellar; the ambience lovely and the whole experience heart warming. Yay for live music presentations. I've been to two and looking forward to more fever Candlelight Evenings.

Excellent musicians. Smooth process. Very enjoyable. My 14 year old loved it and realizes she loves classical music now.

I was fortunate to volunteer for the Guelph Jazz Festival held at Royal Coty Mission this past weekend. Great venue and staff!

Wonderful and serene environment to Worship God, great choir and pastoral department to welcome you and make your worship to God interesting.

It's been more than 4 months, I learned a lot about Gospel and worshipping. I call this whole church as my family now. For anyone who's reading this review, God bless for taking your time to read this and come to this church to know more and enjoy worshipping.

GBC has been my home church for 6 years now-- I love it. Amazing people who truly care. Christ-centred teaching and small groups. A small but mighty church family, I felt at home right away, and it's amazing to see how many people in the church are involved in serving in some area of the church and its ministries. A really beautiful Christian community to be a part of, I highly recommend it if you are looking for a church family or if you are exploring who Jesus is.

I love GBC. My home church for 13 years. Caring and welcoming for all ages.

My husband and I were both raised and married in the church. Over the years, we became increasingly disillusioned and, frankly, even embarrassed to be associated with Christianity and the church. So, we stopped going. However, as our children grew, we increasingly felt like there was an empty space in our lives. We wanted to be intentional about carving out time each week in our family's busy and chaotic lives to pause, reflect, wonder, question, and nurture our spiritual selves. After trying out a few different churches in Guelph, we have found our home at Manna. Manna is progressive and social justice-oriented. It is not just LGBTQ+ friendly in words and theory but more importantly, in practice; there is queer representation within both the leadership and decision-making members of the community. Both our elementary and high school-aged kids are happy to go on Sunday mornings. The vibe of the service is super laid-back. Kids and parents stay together and people of all ages can wiggle and move around as needed. There is always coffee for the grown-ups. The message is accessible, relevant, and inspiring, and is shared by a brilliant yet totally down-to-earth leader/minister. It feels like a multigenerational, multicultural, super-welcoming group of friends.

I'm reviewing this location as a venue for the two events I've attended there, a choir performance and a community Town Hall. The acoustics are okay but not great, and washroom facilities are insufficient for a large concert-going crowd at intermission.

Our family attends Manna (multi-age, family-friendly service at 11am). It’s everything we wanted and more: come as you are (no need to wear “church clothes”); hot coffee throughout the service; kids get to be kids (there is always something planned that’s fun - way more fun than a colouring sheet with a bible verse!); the music is lively; and the content is perfect! It’s a great dose of spirituality, being a good citizen and caring for the world, with just the right amount of biblical references. Plus, questions and questioning are welcome! Kids get involved and keep engaged as much as the parents?! Oh, and Manna also goes outside about once a month during decent weather - harvesting veggies for food insecurity initiatives, tending to the community garden, hikes, stargazing…it’s a wonderful way to have time together as a family, with a community of kind folks. If you’re heading back to church after decades away (like we were), check it out!

The community of Manna means a lot to me and my family. It is a welcoming group of intergenerational people who are all in different stages of their spiritual journey. Every week is different, but the leadership does a wonderful job of mixing in storytelling, community service, wondering, music making, and just experiencing the awe of the world around us. I often say that it is one of Guelph's best kept secrets as I know that there are many people out there who want to explore the spiritual dimension of their lives in an exciting, safe, and communal way.

Manna is a wonderful way to worship in a friendly, relaxed environment. Music and fun for the whole family, all ages. Thank you Manna.
