Kunga Restaurant is a charming eatery located on Gandhi Road in Darjeeling, known for its authentic Tibetan cuisine. The restaurant is run by a Tibetan family and offers a cozy atmosphere to enjoy flavorful and comforting thukpa bowls, as well as popular dishes like momos. Visitors may find themselves sharing tables with local monks dressed in traditional robes, adding to the cultural experience.
The best best best food I have ever had!!! This place is being viral for all the right reasons. It’s worth every hype. Their PHING is to die for. We tried so many items from their menu and nothing disappointed us. Each item was better than another. Honestly if you also go to Darjeeling very often like me you should definitely give this place a try. Though you need to remember one thing that their cooking style is very different. More like Nepali and Tibetan style. So if you’re hoping to taste Chinese flavours this is not a place for you. They use very little oil and sauce. Make regional dishes. We loved it. It’s my favourite. ❤️❤️
Barsa D — Google review
★★★★☆ 4/5 Had a great experience at Kunga Restaurant! The ambience is warm and inviting with cozy Tibetan decor that gives it a peaceful, authentic feel. Perfect spot to enjoy a relaxing meal. We tried several dishes and loved the flavors. The Chicken Noodles were delicious—well-cooked with tender chicken and a nice balance of spice. The Glass Noodles were light, full of veggies, and had a great texture—ideal if you're in the mood for something less heavy. But the real star was the Chicken Momos—juicy, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the spicy chutney. Definitely one of the best momo spots in town. It can get a bit crowded during peak hours, but the overall atmosphere remains pleasant and inviting. Service was decent and the prices were fair. A little more seasoning in a couple of dishes would’ve made it a 5-star experience, but overall, highly recommended!

I recently visited Kunga Restaurant in Darjeeling and enjoyed a hearty Tibetan meal. The place itself is small and tucked away on Gandhi Road, but it has a homely vibe that instantly makes you comfortable. Seating is limited, so it can get a bit crowded, yet the warmth of the staff and the aroma of food create a welcoming atmosphere. I tried their chicken fried rice, chicken noodles, and sweet and sour chicken. The fried rice was flavourful, not oily, and well-balanced with fresh vegetables and tender chicken. The chicken noodles were even better—perfectly cooked with just the right texture, packed with generous portions and a comforting, authentic taste. The highlight for me was the sweet and sour chicken: the sauce had the ideal balance of tangy and slightly sweet notes, coating the crispy chicken beautifully. It felt indulgent yet satisfying. Service was prompt and polite, though with the rush, a little waiting time is expected. Prices are reasonable considering the quality and quantity, making it good value in Darjeeling’s food scene. Overall, Kunga delivers authentic, tasty Tibetan-style dishes with a homely charm. For hearty food lovers, it’s a spot I’d definitely recommend. A solid 4-star experience.
Soumitra M — Google review
I visited Kunga last week and tried the cheese steamed chicken momos – the food was excellent. However, the staff’s behavior was not very welcoming. You’re required to place your entire order at once, as they do not accept additional orders later, which they mention while taking the order. Another drawback is that they only accept cash payments.
Sourav S — Google review
To date, hands down the best mixed fried rice I have tasted here. Usually, people stand in long queues to get a table. When I visited this place, I was able to get a seat in under ten minutes. Indeed, it is one of the best restaurants if anyone is visiting Darjeeling.
Arghya M — Google review
Must try their Noodles/chowmein and momo. Very famous chinese food joint in Darjeeling. Maximum sitting capacity 16 to 18 heads. Be prepare for a long wait outside.
Rohan R — Google review
Rest of the food was delicious in taste. Ordered pork curry and the pork was uncooked. When I gave a feedback about it to the owner lady her reaction was not very impressive. She bluntly said you are the 1st customer complaining about it and it is like this only. It’s not good to eat uncooked pork at all. And the owner should be aware about it. Rather accepting it and giving such blunt replies they must accept it and correct it. Being a famous food joint doesn’t mean they are 100% correct.
Ankush B — Google review
Momos were tasty and wide variety of food on offer. Staff and owners needs to be courteous & customer friendly. Surprisingly restaurant was closed for lunch from 1.00 to 2.00. being a tourist location, people visit hotels for lunch.

Breakfast restaurant
Keventer's is a must-visit in Darjeeling, known for its traditional English breakfast and a variety of items like sandwiches, chicken salami, meat loafs, and pork sausages with eggs. The restaurant is located at the beginning of Nehru Road and has two floors. While Keventer's is popular, there are other eateries worth trying in Darjeeling to experience the local culture and ambiance.
Why not a perfect 5! Just awesome our experience was when we visited this iconic place in Darjeeling for a breakfast. It was a bit crowded though when we first entered the place. Due to the monsoon shower, the rooftop was not chosen by us. We sat indoors and ordered our breakfast. The hot pork platter they served can easily fill 2 stomachs and satisfy the taste buds without creating much pressure on the pocket. The omelette and other items are also available. The coffee was also nice and full of flavor. The garden section was missed by us in the morning. So decided to have a dessert run in the afternoon in the garden section with their famous milkshake and softy icecream. Though the climate was cloudy and foggy, we still enjoyed a few glimpses of the town from the beautifully decorated rooftop section. The staff behavior was good and service was really prompt even during rush hours.
J A — Google review
I'm telling you briefly I've been there quite a lot times, their food's tastes absolutely fantastic. They are very consistent when it is about the taste, just perfect. This is what you can call simply Darjeeling's best. Bonus! If you sit outside the view makes things more cherish (if the weather is good only).
Ranit M — Google review
My experience at Keventer’s was truly delightful! This place is a Darjeeling classic, especially if you’re looking to enjoy a hearty breakfast. Be prepared to line up early, though — the queue usually starts forming as early as 7:30 AM, which already says a lot about how popular this spot is. The ambiance is cozy, modern, and family-friendly, with two dining options: a beautiful rooftop seating area with stunning views of Darjeeling and a garden-side dining area for a more relaxed vibe. If you can, choose the rooftop — it’s the perfect spot to start your morning while soaking in the scenic views. The food was exceptional. We loved the meat platter so much that we actually ordered it twice! The menu is heavily inspired by traditional English breakfasts, which makes it a unique experience in Darjeeling. If I had to recommend just a couple of things, I’d say don’t miss their coffee — it’s a must-try — and definitely go for the meat platter, especially if you’re visiting with friends. The service was top-notch, and the staff were very attentive and friendly, making the overall experience even better. The prices are quite affordable, which is great considering the quality and portion sizes. Pro Tip: Try to get a seat on the rooftop area for the best experience — it’s the most beautiful place to enjoy breakfast in Darjeeling. Whether you’re solo, a couple, or traveling with friends and family, I highly recommend Keventer’s for a delicious meal and a relaxing time. It’s an absolute must-visit when in Darjeeling!

Great place to have a quick bite . More famous for breakfast I guess. We grabbed lunch and it was all empty . Veg options are limited but i had the veg burger which was good , my son had chicken nuggets which more like fried frozen ones. My husband had a chicken burger which was pretty average as well . Overall great place to chill !
Apoorva G — Google review
The vibe and the atmosphere, along with the food will make your day. Be noted that there is always a long line outside. The food tasted excellent. Do have any of their platter, don't forget the fluffy ice cream it is good too.
Surajit G — Google review
One of the most overhyped places in Darjeeling mall road. I visited this is place a couple of time, but the last time was bit disappointed. Every food in the pork platter was bit deep fried, wasn't suppose to be that deep fried. The ambience was too good, the view was mesmerizing ♥️
Furgwl H — Google review
If you are in Darjeeling, must have English breakfast in Keventer's. Also try their softy Rs.40. Wonderful view from the sitting area.
Rohan R — Google review
Keventer’s in Darjeeling is a classic spot that lives up to its charm. Their breakfast platter with sausages, eggs, and toast is comforting and delicious, especially when paired with a cup of hot chocolate or Darjeeling tea. The real highlight is the open terrace, where you can enjoy your meal with stunning views of the hills and cool mountain air. It’s the perfect place to soak in the town’s old-world vibe while enjoying a slow, satisfying meal. A must-visit for a relaxed start to your day in Darjeeling!

*Since 1885 ( 149 years of legacy) * Open air sitting with amazing view * 3 floors : Basement pub, ground bakery and first restaurant, each with an unique charm. Above statements summarises thelis establishment which stood the test of time. Oh wait. I must say test of centuries of time. In the bakery section, you need to take a basket, pick your items and bill them. You can either eat there or get it packed. If you're eating there, they'll give you some plates. You can use the microwaves at the corner, heat the food , take a table and enjoy the view. The table also has on spot ordering, the menu of which is seperate. It gets routes through WhatsApp and you'll receive the order within minutes. Go there for the experience and delicious food.

Glenary's restaurant cum bar is my most favourite places to hang out in Darjeeling. They have branch in Siliguri but I never visited. I always visit the place whenever I am in Darjeeling. Quality of food, ambiance, behaviour of staffs and the bakery as well makes me happy in a true sense. I recommend this place for dinner whoever visit Darjeeling. Even couples can enjoy their best time here. The viral post of taking pictures with the Hope in Darjeeling is a new trend but for me, Glenary's is for enjoying dinner, especially pork, chicken, beer and wine. The ultimate place to make the Darjeeling trip memorable.
Nabarun B — Google review
Glenary’s Bakery is one of the oldest and most iconic bakeries in India! 🧁 It has an amazing variety of bakery items — we loved the patties, Danish pastry, and donuts, and their Berline is a must-try. There are so many delicious options to choose from. Though it was a bit crowded, everything was well-organized. The self-service setup with microwaves to heat your food is a great touch. A must-visit spot in Darjeeling for all bakery lovers!
Suvi K — Google review
Glenary's is a historic gem that lives up to its reputation. The moment you step inside, the ambiance takes you back in time with its classic decor and cozy feel. The real highlight, however, is the food. The bakery items are fresh and delicious, with a special mention for their pastries and pies. The upstairs restaurant offers great continental dishes with a fantastic view of the mountains. My daughter especially loved the breathtaking view, making our visit even more special. The food is simply delicious. We especially enjoyed the cakes and the Biryani, which was perfectly up to the mark. Even the chili pork added a delicious kick. It was a wonderful dining experience, and we ate very well there enjoying the view. The service was prompt and the staff were friendly. While the prices are a bit higher than other local spots, the quality and overall experience make it well worth it. It’s an essential stop for anyone visiting Darjeeling.

Nathmull's Tea Shop, located in Darjeeling Mall, offers a wide variety of top-quality teas, including the famous Darjeeling first flush. The Sunset Lounge provides a stunning view of the hills, making it an ideal spot to relax and enjoy your tea while taking in the breathtaking scenery. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about their tea selection, offering recommendations and even conducting a mini tea serving ceremony.
It's a very good destination for Tea lovers. It is situated at Darjeeling Mall. Shop owners behaviour is very good, he explained to us very well. You will get different types of Darjeeling Tea at reasonable price. Purchased one First Flush and Second Flush Darjeeling tea. UPI/Card Payment is accepted here.
Soumendu K — Google review
You will get large variety of tea over here you can also enjoy the first flush here with your breakfast. Go try it👍
Debadeep G — Google review
The staff was extremely informative and helpful. Even with our vague requests, they managed to come up with the right suggestions from among their wide variety of tea leaves. The shop wasn't crowded and if you chose the right time, you could drink great tree with a view of the mountain ranges. Pretty good darjeeling tea experience.
Yasin R — Google review
Amazing Place. Became one of our favorite places to visit in Darjeeling. The staff is quite nice and gave us time to explain the different varieties of teas(we were ignorant). Try the Highland Tea here(their suggestion, became the best we tasted ever). They serve the tea in a nice fashion and we had sort of a mini tea serving ceremony held each time. The pastries are quite nice to go alongside the tea. Pro Tip: After entering, you will find a little stairs just after the cash counter, go downstairs to get the best views(won't be disappointed, I promise). Note: We went during the off season.
Soumik D — Google review
This is Natmull's outlet in Mall. They seemed to have moved from the other side of the Mall to where they are now, near to Cafe Coffee Day. Now you get a clear view of the dark green hills and if the weather is clear, you get a view of snow capped mountain as well. Natmull's, as you can expect, has a great range of tea. Indulge yourself in trying few of those before deciding on what you may take away for home. Their bakery items are good too. Also, you may buy gifts - tea, tea pots etc.
Avijit D — Google review
Nice place for a tea lover who understands tea which isnt me. So they allowed us to taste two types of of tea to help us make a choice. The ambience is nice for a coffee shop and the staff helpful. They also send tea via mail order if you email them back.

The must visit tea shop in Darjeeling. It is located just at the Mall. Ask for recommendation the staff and they will happily guide you. Bakery items are quite good.
IAdriv — Google review
Sunset Lounge of Nathmull’s is located at Chowrasta at the end of the Mall. One can also call it The Tea Bar as you get to sample a variety of Darjeeling teas before deciding which one to buy. They have a bewildering array of Black, Green and White Darjeeling teas varying in price from ₹400 per kg to ₹30000 per kg. One can also sample the aroma, texture and colour of the tea at the display counter. We relaxed in the Sunset Lounge, which had glass top round tables and cane chairs, adjacent to the Tea Bar, and sampled a cup of their Green Tea which they served up in a transparent tea cup, at a nominal price. One can also order snacks like muffins or pastries to go with the tea. On a clear day one can get an excellent view of the Kanchenjunga mountain and the sunset from the window. One can also buy some memorabilia and tea accessories like decorative and useful tea pots and cups in ceramic as well as metal. In addition there are fancy strainers and Tea Cosies. We purchased some packets of Green and Black teas, and souvenirs like fridge magnets and keychains with the tea motif, as small gifts for our friends back home.

Sonam's Kitchen, nestled on a serene street in Darjeeling, is a beloved cafe renowned for its hearty breakfasts and top-notch coffee. This family-owned gem, operating for over 13 years, offers a cozy and intimate setting perfect for a relaxed morning. With just three seating arrangements, the space exudes warmth and authenticity.
It’s a small eatery on Dr. Zakir Hussain Road famous for its breakfast platters, brunch and cozy environment. I tried their Breakfast platters of Hash Brown, Scrambled Egg, Cheese & Bread Toast. The combination is absolutely amazing. I have ordered a Darjeeling Black Tea & Cheese Omelette separately, both were tasty. The owner was very welcoming. We chatted a lot about the local cuisines. It’s a must visit for those who love the proper English Cuisine.

cute place with a western crowd. little pricier than some of the other local places but a good meal nevertheless, owner couple seemed very sweet. only reason i’m taking one star away is the price and the fact that i’m usually full and satisfied for a long time after having porridge but ended up still being hungry and getting samosas after this one! taste was good though.
Smiina J — Google review
A pretty cute food outlet with limited seating arrangement has been serving great hospitality for around 20 years. The foods served here are simple but tasty. The hash brown is their main attraction and it tastes great with their special cheese. The toast is toasted in a crispy way and it matches perfectly with scrambled egg and butter. The coffee was also strong and stimulates the taste buds. In a nutshell, they serve good food and overcome their shortfalls with their hearty and warm behavior.

Sonam serves delicious continental breakfast such as banana pancakes, whole grain brown toast, oatmeal with cashews and raisins and honey, lemon, ginger tea. Her guesthouse, just up the hill, is a truly comfortable, private homestay experience with a private hot shower, queen size bed and a sunny terrace with large windows and a pleasant hill top breeze. Beautiful views of the Queen of the Hills can be enjoyed with both sunrise and sunset in the same location. If you are looking for a true family feel with a great vibe, look nowhere else. With loving kindness, Johnny

Thanks to the energetic owner, I had a cheerful and enjoyable meal. I was lucky to arrive when it wasn’t busy, so my food came out fairly quickly. However, please note that the owner handles both the kitchen and the front of house alone, so there might be some wait during peak hours. The toasted bread served with the breakfast was especially delicious. But the true highlight here is the Darjeeling tea. make sure to give it a try! The aroma is incredibly rich and the balance is unlike anything I’ve had before.

A Breakfast Haven in Darjeeling! Sonam’s Kitchen is an absolute gem and a must-visit eatery in Darjeeling. We had a breakfast here that was nothing short of perfect — fulfilling, sumptuous and cooked with so much love. The highlight was their authentic mocha pot coffee, rich and aromatic, which complemented the meal beautifully. The place itself is small and cozy, with a warm, inviting vibe. What makes it even more special is the lovely couple who run it. With 27 years of passion poured into this kitchen, they give personal attention to every guest, making you feel right at home. Located on Dr. Zakir Hussain Road, it’s an easy walk from Chowrasta (Chowk). If you’re in Darjeeling, don’t miss this delightful little spot — it’s the kind of place that stays with you long after the trip ends.

We went here at the time closing at lunch hour. Loved the has browns. The pancakes were also great. The portions were big, plate of hashbrowns with eggs and toast, along with pancakes was more than enough for 2 people

Dekevas Restaurant, run by a Tibetan family, is a charming eatery in Darjeeling that offers a delectable mix of Tibetan, Chinese, and Continental cuisine. From comforting porridge to hearty burgers, sandwiches, noodles, and soups, this cozy spot has something for everyone. Whether you're craving vegetarian or non-vegetarian fare, Dekevas provides an array of options at budget-friendly prices.
Dekevas is truly a gem in Darjeeling! The food quality is absolutely top-notch, fresh, flavorful, and served with great care. Their chicken bibimbap bowl and kimchi fried rice is hands down the best I’ve ever had — perfectly balanced, hearty, and bursting with taste. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff are attentive and welcoming. A must-visit if you’re in Darjeeling and want authentic, delicious food.
Pratibha P — Google review
Visited Dekevas Restaurant after hearing great reviews, but the Dragon Chicken Bao didn’t meet expectations. The bao was soft and nicely made, but the filling was overly sweet — lacked the spicy, balanced flavor I hoped for. Good ambience and service, but this dish was a letdown.
Gaurav ( — Google review
I visited Dekevas in September 2025 and tried the Chicken Japanese Ramen (₹280) and Chicken Steamed Momos (8 pieces – ₹170). The quality and quantity were satisfying, and the taste was quite authentic. Overall, I was happy with the food and would definitely recommend visiting. The restaurant is conveniently located in a prominent spot – just beside Kunga Restaurant and opposite Kev's. The seating area is a bit congested, but it gives off a cozy, homely vibe, much like a friendly family gathering in the hills. A nice place to enjoy authentic flavors in Darjeeling.
Pritam B — Google review
I was intrigued by the Korean word “식당” on the sign, so I decided to check this place out. The restaurant offers a variety of Korean and Tibetan dishes. I ordered the pork bibimbap, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The meat was tough and had a strong smell. One of the vegetables possibly carrot was extremely salty, to the point that I could feel texture of actual salt crystals, making it hard to finish the meal. If the server or the owner asked why I left the food unfinished, I would have gladly shared my thoughts in person. I feel a bit sorry to leave this feedback in a review instead, but I hope it’s taken as constructive.
Donggeon K — Google review
I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The service was extremely slow and the staff seemed completely unattentive. The food was mediocre at best, but the most serious issue was finding multiple hairs in our chicken momos. It was an unacceptable and clear sign of poor kitchen hygiene. Between the bad service and the unsanitary food, we definitely will not be returning. I would advise others to dine elsewhere.

This small eatery is very popular and needs no introduction. The place being small has a waiting time which depends on the time one is visiting. Has few tables but the food is served hot and fresh. It's affordable and pocket friendly. The people serving are also very warm. Would definitely visit again.

It’s a cute little place on the Mall Road . Food is amazing and very authentic and true to the taste! Service is quick and easy ! Food is prepared pretty quickly and served hot ! We tried the bibimbap the first time and it was amazing .

Very good food. Clean and cozy. Variety of noodles, fried rice, gluten free glass noodle, shapta, bao. Cooked in Tibetan, Korean with local flavours added. Meats contain chicken, pork and beef — you can have your choice. The open kitchen gives you a glimpse of what food they are preparing for you. Reasonably priced. Note of caution: Payment only by cash, no cards or UPI. Digital India doesn’t work here. 😀

The Park Restaurant in Darjeeling, situated on Laden La road, is a unique establishment run by Deep, a former musician turned restaurateur. This popular eatery offers authentic North Indian dishes like chicken tikka masala and curries, as well as Thai delicacies such as chicken coconut soup and papaya salad. The restaurant's simple yet inviting ambiance has made it a beloved destination for locals and visitors alike.
There are various famous food joints and restaurants in Darjeeling serving delicious and awesome food. Many of them are located near the mall road. And among them, although a little less known among tourists, The Park restaurant is a very good dining restaurant serving really good and tasty food. It is located very near to the Darjeeling Clock Tower on the downhill road. The ambience and interiors are quite nice and they serve a variety of food items. Price is medium and the staffs are courteous. Overall its a nice restaurant and a must visit for tourists visiting this beautiful hill town ❤️❤️

Ambiance is pretty good, setting area is also huge. We ordered manchow soup for starters. Soup was very basic. At the main course we ordered chicken fried rice & hot garlic chicken. Chicken fried rice : Rice was half cooked, lack of salt and taste was pretty basic. Hot garlic chicken : Gravy is not near to hot garlic, it's over sweeter and no taste of garlic flavour. Chicken was halfed before putting in the gravy.

Visited recently. This place is one of the best restaurants to have authentic Asian food. We tried the Thumbs Up, Paneer Chilli Dry, Crispy Corn, Chicken Ramen and Burnt Garlic Rice. Before coming to the food, let's talk about the restaurant. The interior is very traditional Asian looking with beautiful sculptures and paintings. The atmosphere is warm and chill. There is plenty of space for people and the restaurant is of two floors. You can take a lot of pics here. The service was fast, like our entire food came in 25-30 mins. The restaurant is very well-maintained, hygienic and clean. The food here is very simple. The prices are a little expensive than normal, but the taste makes it worth it. Coming to the food, the thumbs up tasted exactly like the thumbs up. The paneer chilli dry was very crispy and tasty. The paneer was fresh and it was perfectly coated. The crispy corn was crispy, juicy and also very simple, loved it. The presentation of the burnt garlic rice was nice, the taste was very simple and tasted best with the Manchurian gravy. But the dish I liked the most was the Chicken Ramen. You get Saucy Ramen with Fried Chicken, Cheese and Exotic vegetables. It was very unique and tasted brilliant. Overall, it was a great experience. Of you wanna try some authentic Asian food then you can definitely give this place a try. The staff is also very friendly. And do try the Ramen. Recimmended ⭐⭐⭐⭐

I recently visited The Park Restaurant in Darjeeling, and while it was a decent experience, there were a few things that could be improved. The restaurant has a cozy ambiance, and the service was friendly enough, but it didn’t stand out as exceptional. The food was good, but the portion sizes were quite small for the prices they charge. Given the rates, I expected more generous servings. The flavors were fine, but nothing that particularly wowed me. It’s an okay place if you're looking for a quick meal, but I felt it lacked the value for money that other places in Darjeeling offer.
Manik G — Google review
Known for its Chinese and Thai food, its right opposite the landmark Clock Tower and its bright red hues of Chinese food won’t let you miss this restaurant. It has two floors and ample seating. It used to offer mountain views however, due to recent constructions it is not the case anymore. The staff here is friendly. The restaurant serves alcohol and has a decent bar menu. We had a couple of drinks here along with a Crispy Corn appetizer and Thai Street Style Veg Noodles with sauce.

VERY BAD EXPERIENCE Went for dinner after seeing a few reviews that North Indian food is good. However, starting from staff behaviour to food everything was absolute dismal. They gave me a "half table" just beside the waste collection bin on the other side (see the attached video and photo). When I asked the waiter to adjust the table, he rudely stated that it would block their passage, where as there was a lot of space. I asked them to even shift me to an another table but they refused. The staff lacks professionalism, comeone man you are in a service industry. Coming to food, I ordered briyani, the moment I did I knew it was a blunder, given the place and restaurant type. But still that was not even 1% of what a briyani should be. They literally fried rice with chicken in a lot of oil, pathetic. Never going back nor would I recommend. If the manager is reading this, please take notes you are in service industry and in service people matter a lot.

Hot Stimulating Cafe, located on the way to the zoo and near the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute in Darjeeling, is a cozy and charming spot surrounded by lush greenery. The cafe is known for serving delicious vegetarian momos and flavorful masala chai with a blend of cinnamon, cardamom, black pepper, and clove. Visitors can enjoy their treats on the rear deck while taking in marvelous views of the valley and tea gardens. Run by Lilly and her husband Mr.
Stopped by after a visit to the nearby Happy Valley Tea Estate. Absolutely worth a visit, the momos and tea are exceptional and the staff is hospitable and attentive. Wonderful views into the Darjeeling Valley with excellent food options. Prices were also excellent.

If you're into Starbucks, and fancy joints, read no. further. This unassuming place is off the governor's house, on the road. It seats 36 people, including outdoor and indoor tables. Their momo is superb, so is the Darjeeling tea. Price point is extremely reasonable. The view from the outdoor seating area is breathtaking. And there are cats.

A must visit if you are in Darjeeling. Way better than all the other recommended places. A fifteen mins walk from chowrasta. Head here for great views of Darjeeling. One must get a table outside. It's owned and run by an old couple. Perfect place for momos and coffee.

Probably the best vegetarian momos in Darjeeling. They’re juicy, and the chutney is spicy - makes for a great combination. Frequented by school kids, which should also tell you about its VFM. They serve both steamed and fried momos. Outside and indoor seating are both available, and if the weather is favourable you can get a good view of the mountains. Check out this place after a visit to the zoo and HMI, both of which are at a walking distance.

Himalayan Coffee is a charming cafe that provides a cozy atmosphere for enjoying a comforting cup of coffee. Despite being one of the newer establishments, it offers a peaceful setting with wooden chairs and an array of pastries, cakes, and bakery items to satisfy any sweet tooth. For an authentic coffee experience in Darjeeling, visit Himalayan Java Coffee, where they specialize in sourcing the finest Indian coffee beans and expertly roasting them in-house.
a bit tricky to find the entrance! okay good working wifi though it sometimes disappears for a bit but works well when it does. comfortable seating to do some online work. a bit pricey but good coffee and a milk alternative (soy) which is hard to find sometimes!! no washroom at the time since there was some renovations going on. service is friendly ✨

Good music, decent ambience, I like the coffee but what I loved most is that in this town that once had peace and style, it's now no longer the same. Himalayan coffee thankfully has a space where you sit at ease, read a book, write or just be. But just keep in mind .. they don't have a washroom.

It’s a very nice place to have food, coffee and deserts. It’s not very crowded so that is one my favourite points however I am not sure what it's like in weekends and public holidays as their food and the menu is amazing. We had iced capuccino hazelnut latte, cold coffee, chicken club sandwich and chicken burger all the items were tasty and delicious and the staff are very courteous. However I feel you need to have a dedicated washroom for your customers.

They serve amazing coffee and you must not miss their cookies. With a plethora of all day breakfast options this is a place must visit for me and my wife. Their coffee has a very nice roasted flavors to it which is pretty unique and will give off a boutique coffee experience, It's somewhat closer to Subko blend of coffee.

This coffee shop is perfect for tea lovers as they serve different flavors of elaichi chai. The staff are very polite and the atmosphere is really lovely. Overall, a great place to relax with some amazing tea.
Just opposite of Glenary's. I had ginger tea, which is fine.

Place is not so much lavish and spacious. There are only 6 seats available for the customers. But Who wants to see if they have come to this Mall road area. We can just grab the tea and enjoy the beautiful view of area. While having their signature tea in which they have added 10 different spices, we got plenty of time for chit chat and for the photo session in front of Glenary's. We had to pay Rs 60 for the signature tea which tasted like a tea with bundle of different herbs. Only one thing which they can improve is by changing their induction stove into the real traditional gas stove. Because it was taking really a long time for the preparation of tea. Anyway enjoyed being here. Liked the taste awesomely!

Nawangs Restaurant is a cozy, unassuming eatery tucked away behind Kevs in Darjeeling. With an open kitchen and just four tables, it exudes a humble, old-fashioned charm. The menu features Nepali and Tibetan dishes like chicken momo, egg chowmein, and pork curry. Visitors rave about the melt-in-your-mouth pork curry and well-cooked chili pork. The warm hospitality of the owners adds to the homely atmosphere.
This is a restaurant where you can feel relaxed and relaxed. It's a small shop with four tables, and although it has an old-fashioned atmosphere, you can feel the cleanliness. There is an English menu. Tibetan and Indian cuisine. Chicken and lamb too. I probably can't drink alcohol. Tibetan Buddhist reliefs are modestly displayed, giving it a simple and nice atmosphere. The female owner is kind and maintains a reasonable distance. Darjeeling milk tea is delicious. (20 rupees) On the day I visited, it was closed at 8:30 pm. A small, cozy eatery. Though the space is quite small, only four tables and assorted chairs with them. The owner is quite humble and well behaved. Just stumbled upon it during a lazy afternoon while roaming the streets of Darjeeling. Had a long talk with the owner while eating. Ordered Pork Thukpa and Chicken Thukpa. The food was delicious, amount of meat in the Chowmein was adequate. They offer trekking tours as well, bounced back some ideas regarding that too. The trekking tours offered by them are both in West Bengal as well as in Sikkim. It was a small food joint where Nepali and Tibetan foods were available, we tried their chicken momo, egg chowmein, egg fried rice, dry chilli chicken, chilli pork dry and pork curry. The foods were beyond expectation! One of the best pork curry I tried there, the pieces just melted in my mouth it was too yummy, chili pork was very well cooked and equally delicious, dry chilli chicken was a bit different from other places, I liked it very much, and lastly the momo was also excellent. I would love to recommend this place to everyone who like to try good food in cheap price in Darjeeling. If you can ignore the ambience this is one of the best place to have Nepali and Tibetan Dishes. The owners were very very welcoming and also friendly. Really liked the place. Hope to meet you soon.

We were drawn in by the retro-style exterior, but overall, the food was a bit disappointing. In particular, the chicken momo had pieces of ground chicken bone in it, so my friend and I had to stop after just a couple of bites and unfortunately couldn’t finish it. The thukpa reminded me of a Korean-style radish leaf soup (시래깃국) which I personally enjoyed, but those unfamiliar with its herbal aroma might find it a bit off putting. The fried noodles were okay. The owners were kind and the atmosphere was nice, but sadly, I wouldn’t be able to strongly recommend this place to others.

Absolutely loved my visit to Nawang Restaurant in Darjeeling, right near Mall Road. This little gem packs a big punch in flavor and warmth. First the vibe: the space is cozy and compact, but somehow it feels instantly like home. It’s the kind of place where you’re greeted with friendly smiles, and the intimate seating makes every dining moment feel personal and relaxed. Don’t be put off by the size—the atmosphere is charming and incredibly inviting. Now the food: authentic Tibetan at its best. Each bite carries a comforting, authentic taste that reminded me of home-cooked meals, but with a distinctive hill-town twist. We tried the chicken curry with roti and rice, and it was a perfect balance of spice, depth, and tenderness. The chicken momo is a must-try—succulent filling, perfect steam, and a flavor that defines the “forever favorite” status for many locals and visitors alike. If you’re in Darjeeling and craving truly tasty, comforting Tibetan dishes, this is the place to go. The quality of the ingredients and the generous portions make you feel you’re getting authentic value. Highly recommend going for their momo and the chicken curry—you’ll leave with a happy belly and a smile. Short version for a quick post: Nawang, near Mall Road, Darjeeling — tiny, cozy, and absolutely homely. Authentic Tibetan flavors that hit the spot. Must-try: chicken momo and chicken curry with roti/rice. Highly recommended!

I visited this place with a group of 11 members, out of 11, we had 6 child. I rated it 5 star because 1. first of all its children friendly, not much spice is used to the meal of the children. 2. secondly, the environment. Its generally said the environment playes a vital role at the time of taking a meal. The environment of this restaurant is very attractive, the mild melodious songs were played, some good vibes notes were written, some pictures of music concerts, some of old days frames decorated on the wall gave a nostalgic vibe that hitted heart softly. These were so precious that really loved to visit that restaurant. 3. Behaviour was so polite and humble. 4. Cleanliness. 5. Though the best part was Food, and we went there for a meal but all the other things mentioned above made the meal best for us. Thank you owner, for making our day delight and courageous. Whenever I remember, I really feel very good. I recommend this restaurant to all the people who visited to Sikkim and Darjeeling tour

We ordered Chole bhature, the order came - the Bhatures (2) was humongous, accompanied with some slivers of onions and pickle. We were able to consume only one bhature each ( we had ordered two plates), the chole could do better, cooked a little more and gravy little tastier. Even at 10:45 -September -the place was empty. Good for a quick time on or from Chowrasta.

Very crowded. No customer service( self service). Food bland. The serving portion is inadequate and no refill is there. Very expensive as per quantity of food served. Had opted for Choley bhature, but choley served was only adequate for a single bhaura...when asked for a refill they first replied yes but later denied. Ambience is great but a little customer centricity is expected.

The restaurant didn't have chilli mushroom and sweet lassi, the cold drink options was not there in the menu, I had to settle for cold coffee instead. Sandwich was just okay. Aloo paratha was below average. The biggest letdown was tea and hot chocolate. In places like darjeeling, you'd expect genuine tea, not machine-made abomination. The worst part is they don't specify it's machine-made. The service was slow even though the spot was not packed. The servers/cooks seemed slow to understand, and prepare the food. Could be an option for people who prefer to eat at a completely vegetarian spot, which is difficult to find in darjeeling. I wouldn't visit again, though

It is One of the very few (or Probably the only) pure veg Cafes in this area. Though the staff was not so welcoming but the food was nice. We ordered Dosa and Aloo Paratha. Only machine made Tea, Coffee is served which was again a let down. Could be a safe option for pure vegetarians.

One of the only pure veg cafes around the area and it actually serves quite good food, especially the pancakes with chocolate sauce(highly recommend) and the coffee (highly recommend), the Darjeeling tea was quite good as well. Also had their chole bhature and pav bhaji which wasn't the best, it lacked spice tbh. The white sauce pasta was good(quite home-y), the margarita pizza was another good item we had. Talking about the service, they were quite fast but the woman on the register counter wasn't as welcoming.

Frank Ross Cafe and cafe with American name, and prices, but a total disaster. 4 friends and I went there for lunch, as we were hungry. It w as a total chaos. We didn't know and were not informed that the order has to be placed at the counter, paid for, and then collected. So totally self-service. I had to go back to the counter to figure that out. After placing our order, I observed one of the wait staff come and clear the next table in an interesting and efficient fashion. He just used a wipe cloth to clean the table and throw it on the floor. I had to ask the manager for someone to come and sweep up the floor. Another guest of mine observed, one of the wait staff lick his fingers and primp up his hair while checking himself out. The person making the paneer pizza, shredded paneer on the pizza dough, store bought I am sure, and then picked up the paneer that had fallen on the counter and put it back on the pizza. While there we observed another interesting interaction, where one of the guest complained about the sweet corn and vegetable soup that didn't have any vegetables. Unfortunately, one of my guest had ordered the same. So when it came she had to search for the vegetables and the sweet corn, as it was so sparse. Definitely avoid this place, if you can.

Ordered for Mushroom soup. Instead of serving fresh they served Knorr packaged soup worth ₹40 and charged us ₹170 for it without information that it is packaged food. When I recognised the taste and confronted the lady in the reception, she completely ignored us and behaved rudely. We also ordered for complete Indian breakfast with the soup which includes tea with it. But the counter refused us the tea saying we did not pay for it. Cheating the public!

We ordered dosa and it was very tasty, the sambar and chutney was equally good. But one onion mashala dosa would not satisfy your appetite.
Subhajit M — Google review
Their extensive veg menu sounds great for vegan people, but the price to quality/quantity ratio will not put a smile on their face. We tried their Pan cakes with honey and butter toast. Both of them were okay but really expensive. Also, they don't have a washroom which is quite shocking.

Tom & Jerry Cafe is a charming little spot in Darjeeling, perfect for a delightful English breakfast. The cafe exudes warmth and nostalgia with its quaint ambiance and walls adorned with Tom & Jerry cartoon characters. Despite its small size, the menu offers a satisfying selection of breakfast dishes, including baked beans on toast, omelettes, hash browns, honey-drizzled pancakes, and chocolate waffles. The attentive staff provides excellent service while the decor features books and iconic wall paintings.
Very nice food and service. We had the ramen and English breakfast but my favourite was the ginger, honey and lemon tea. This is a must try and must visit place if you are in Darjeeling. All of their food is good 👍

I think it is an overhyped place. The taste of food is not up to the mark. The food is too oily. I tried marshmallow hot chocolate which was ok ok type. Only taste of the sausage was good.
Aditi N — Google review
We went there for breakfast. A cute little space with a few sitting. We ordered their breakfast platter, hot chocolate with marshmallow and Darjeeling tea. The breakfast platter was okayish but the sausages were the highlight. Soft , juicy and perfectly spiced. The hot chocolate was also a good choice. If anyone comes here don't forget to try their sausages. It is a win win deal.

This is one of the well known cafe. They serve great burger and hot chocolate. But we were too full to have burger or hot chocolate. We tried black coffee which is good and very strong. But I think the price is little bit high for a place like this. Next time will try the burger and edity review if required.

The place is small and cozy🫶🏻 and I really loved their breakfast options..The food that we ordered tasted too good like hands down , the fluffiest pancakes I’ve ever eaten😭

If you're seeking a cozy breakfast spot away from the crowds on your next visit to Darjeeling Mall Road, look no further than this tiny café. With attentive and polite staff, it offers some of the finest breakfast options in town. I recommend trying their hash browns with toast, omelette, pancake with banana and honey, waffle with honey, bacon cheese sandwich, veg ramen, mocha, ginger lemon honey tea, and hot chocolate. Don't miss out on their delicious pancakes—they're a definite highlight!

Tom & Jerry Cafe in Darjeeling is an absolute gem, especially if you’re a fan of the iconic cartoon duo! We visited yesterday and were blown away by the charming decor, which features Tom and Jerry-themed pictures and miniatures. Each table is uniquely designed—one with currencies from around the world, and another with handwritten reviews from past customers, adding a delightful personal touch. The menu offers a wide range of options, from Tibetan Thenthuk and Thupka to Korean Ramen Bowl and Bibimbap, and even Chinese Chowmein and Chilli Chicken. For those with a sweet tooth, there are pancakes, waffles, and hot chocolate that kids will love. We tried Chicken Thenthuk, Chicken Bibimbap, Tom & Jerry Special Brunch, Hash Brown, Waffle with Honey, Chicken Omelette, and the Ginger Honey Lemon Tea Pot. Every dish was delicious, but the tea was particularly outstanding! The service was exceptional. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring we had a fantastic experience. We even got to click a photo with the three chefs, which was a highlight of our visit. Overall, Tom & Jerry Cafe is a must-visit in Darjeeling. The delightful theme, delicious food, and excellent service make it a perfect spot for a memorable dining experience. Highly recommended!

The restaurant provides a comfortable setting with good seating arrangements and friendly service. Visitors have praised the delicious food, affordable prices, and welcoming staff. Despite its small size, the restaurant has garnered positive reviews for its delectable offerings such as Korean Bibimbap and Ramen noodles.
Great location, hardly 10m away from Keventer’s. The place will give a homely vibe and authentic food. Highly recommended. A big shout out to the staffs- friendly and polite 😊😊

My experience in nanking was one of the best. We ordered the chicken steamed momos and chicken ramen. The momos covering was thin and it was so juicy. I just loved it so much. The ramen too was so yum. Perfect spicy and if you want more spicy , u can add their spicy chutney. The staff were very polite and friendly. All the items are pocket friendly and delicious. Gonna visit there again on my next visit.
Anoushka R — Google review
I tried chicken thukpa and steamed chicken momo. Both are delicious. The momos are so soft and juicy and the complimentary soup with momo was 👌🏻😘, and the chicken tukpa was so comforting and flavorful. I'm from Odisha, and i barely find this level of momo in my locality. Overall the food was really outstanding.
Subhashree P — Google review
Your soul and pocket deserves this eatery. We wanted something similar to Dekewas and tried this place out. Korean Chicken is recommended by the waiter, and doesn't disappoint at all. Skip your spoon and fork and it is finger licking good. The Bibimbap feels very homely and tasty. Their Chicken Thukpa is probably the best we've had in Darjeeling. The ambience here is not too fancy (if you're that person). Place is right at the junction of entry exit roads of Darjeeling, isn't too noisy though. But gives a very homely feel and dining experience. I would highly recommend this place.

It was so yumm delicious and so very presentable. And i must tell you the staff were so very humble and down to earth. God bless the restaurant we were so impressed with the kind of taste that we went in evening also to have other items and we went all the 3 days of our stay in darjeeling. Must visit place.

Shangrila Bar is a warm and inviting hotel with charming rooms that offer free breakfast and stunning mountain views. The restaurant, located in a heritage building, boasts beautiful interiors with arches and wooden accents, providing one of the best views in the area. Guests have praised the spacious and clean rooms, although some updates may be needed. The attentive staff received high praise for their excellent service and helpfulness.
The ambience is absolutely stunning, the food is impeccable and the music and service is brilliant. Thanks to Abhishek who served us today and thanks to the violinist who put on such an amazing music set🩷
Tanushree B — Google review
The restaurant is located in a fantastic spot with a great environment and breathtaking views. The ambiance is peaceful, making it a lovely place to relax and enjoy the scenery. The location is easy to find, and the new building looks modern and inviting. However, the food was a big letdown. The dishes lacked flavor and freshness, and the overall quality was far from what we expected. If you’re coming here purely for the food, you might leave disappointed. It’s also worth mentioning that the restaurant has undergone renovations, moving from the old building to a completely new one. Some reviews and photos online might still show the previous structure, so don’t be confused when you see something entirely different. The new building is much more appealing, but unfortunately, the food doesn’t match the upgraded ambiance. If you’re visiting for the view and a calm environment, it’s a decent spot to spend some time. But if food quality is your priority, you may want to explore other options nearby. Hopefully, the restaurant can improve its menu to match the excellent location and stunning atmosphere.

This was my second visit to this spot, and once again, it didn’t disappoint. The food was flavorful and clearly made with care. The cozy atmosphere added a warm, inviting touch, making the experience even more enjoyable. Staff were polite and attentive, contributing to the overall pleasant vibe. The location of this restaurant is very convenient and easy to locate. It is in the way to Glenarys from Darjeeling mall. The restaurant is located on the first floor. The interior is majestic with great seating capacity. They have live music as well. However, coming to food we weren't satisfied. Taste was okayish and the least scorer among all items would be the mixed fried rice. The music was also extremely loud. They have Indian, Chinese, Continental items in their menu. We had Chinese. They have bar as well.

Shangri-La Restaurant, Darjeeling – A Cozy Culinary Retreat Tucked away in the heart of Darjeeling, Shangri-La Restaurant is a charming blend of comfort, hospitality, and atmosphere that makes it a must-visit for anyone exploring the hills. With its rustic wooden interiors and warm, Tibetan-inspired decor, the restaurant exudes an old-world charm that immediately puts you at ease. What truly sets Shangri-La apart is the experience — relaxed, soulful, and unhurried. During our visit, we enjoyed a perfectly chilled beer paired with a delicious spread that included Squid Dry Fry, Chicken Grill Satay, Burnt Garlic Fried Rice, and Chilli Chicken. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared, rich in flavor, and served with genuine warmth. Add to that the soothing mountain breeze and scenic hill views through the large windows, and you have a spot that feels both timeless and comforting. Whether you’re wrapping up a day of sightseeing or simply looking to indulge in good food with great company, Shangri-La is the kind of place you’ll want to return to again and again.

I ordered Chicken Hakka Noodles and Chilli Chicken (gravy) on 20.05.25 Night. The Chicken Pieces of Chilli Chicken were very hard and also not tasty. Upon asking the waiter, he told that the Chicken Pieces are stored frozen, and maybe that's why the chicken pieces are hard. The following day, I started vomitting due to food poisoning. Absolutely not worth spending money for such low quality food.

Cafe House Darjeeling is a delightful gem that brings a unique twist to the traditional coffee experience, reminiscent of Kolkata's iconic Coffee House. Tucked away in the serene misty mountains, this newly opened cafe promises an unforgettable culinary journey with its delectable snacks and freshly brewed coffee. Located just about a kilometer from Darjeeling's bustling center near Mahakal Lane, it offers visitors a chance to escape the crowds and enjoy some quality time.
A beautiful cafe with the heritage look of Bengal, located at the Observatory View Point in Darjeeling. It's a must-visit place. Cappuccino @ Rs. 163 (4/5) Hot Chocolate @ Rs. 180 (4/5) French Fries @ Rs. 115 (5/5) Chicken Grilled Sandwich @ Rs. 210 (4/5) The portion of crispy fries was ample. The sandwich had a Kolkata club sandwich feel, with nice chunks of chicken. As for the coffee, I don’t understand much about it, but I still liked it.

Located at the calmer corner of Darjeeling, the peaceful ambience is broken only by the local rock music from the region and occasional chit chat. Walked to this place from the zoo, which was a good uphill hike. It's very close to the Mall road area. The interiors are super cute. However, on a Friday afternoon around 4, the cafe was completely empty. Food was decent but no healthy options had to settle for chicken nuggets and fries. The view would've been better but for the construction ongoing in front. Good place to sit and chill and enjoy the weather.

Fast food restaurant
Nestled in a cozy corner, Kalden Cafe Tibetan Fast Food is a small but delightful eatery run by a Tibetan family. The tantalizing scent of thukpa, flavorful dumplings, and aromatic noodles wafts through the air. Each dish offers an authentic taste of Tibetan cuisine at very affordable prices. Despite its compact seating area, the food's exceptional quality makes it well worth a visit.
Going down the tail end of mall road, you'll find several shops selling food, clothes, tea, lottery tickets, you name it. It's a bustling street on weekdays and weekends that feels strangely empty when the crowd is reduced even a little bit. Some of these shops have closed doors and shuttered windows with holes for food, and some of them are wide open with inviting samples kept behind glass. And then there's Kalden's: a small shop with a red signboard, unpretentious, unassuming, beautiful. The owner sits out front on his chair, welcoming you with a smile. Talking to him and his wife is half the fun of visiting this place - they are people with good humour, lots of knowledge and lots of tips for you to explore around Darjeeling and neighbouring areas. They'll even tell you what dishes to try if you want to go beyond the usual momos or thukpa - both are great, in fact the best momos in Darjeeling by a long shot, and an incredibly flavorful thukpa - but there's a lot more to Tibetan cuisine than that, and Kalden's is a great representation of it. I tried Syafale and it was delicious. You can't get it more authentic or more tasty than here. I'm left with a very distinct image of this place - while I was having some great food after an afternoon of exhaustion, some school kids clamoured by the front window. "Ae baccha log, chocolate, toffee, chocolate lelo!" the owner greeted them with his hearty belly laugh. In short: you come to Kalden's for the authentic and delicious food, and you leave with joy in your heart. Can't rave enough about this place.

Kalden Café is a small, cozy café tucked along Zakir Hussain Road, mostly frequented by locals who appreciate its homely charm and authentic flavors. With limited seating capacity, it may not be ideal for large groups, but it’s perfect for a quiet, satisfying meal. The café is run by the warm and welcoming couple—Kalden and his wife—whose friendly nature adds a personal touch to the experience. The momos and thukpa here are local favorites, offering great taste at affordable prices. Apart from serving food, the café also sells raw noodles, flat noodles, phing (glass noodles), and a selection of Korean noodles—great for those wanting to cook at home. If you’re looking for a humble, authentic spot with heart, Kalden Café is well worth a visit while in Darjeeling.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Kalden Cafe and it was an experience I won't soon forget. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with warm smiles and an inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, eager to explain the various dishes and make recommendations. As for the food, it was nothing short of exceptional. I started with the momos, which were perfectly steamed and bursting with flavor. The accompanying dipping sauces added a delightful kick. For my main course, I tried the Thukpa, a hearty noodle soup that was both comforting and delicious, with a rich, savory broth and tender, flavorful pieces of meat. What truly stood out was the attention to detail and authenticity in every dish. The ingredients were fresh, and the spices were perfectly balanced, providing a genuine taste of Tibetan cuisine. The portions were generous and the presentation was impeccable. To finish off the meal, I indulged in a piece of Tibetan that was the perfect end to a perfect meal. Overall, Kalden Cafe offers an exceptional dining experience that transports you straight to the heart of Tibet. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to explore new flavors or simply enjoy a delicious meal in a warm and welcoming environment. I will definitely be returning soon!

During my recent visit to Darjeeling, I had the pleasure of exploring the vibrant and exciting street food scene of this beautiful town. One of the most memorable experiences I had was eating Chowmein late at night, surrounded by the bustling energy of the town. It was well past midnight when my friends and I decided to go out and explore the streets of Darjeeling. Despite the late hour, we were surprised to find that the town was still alive and buzzing with activity. Street vendors were still open, and the smells of delicious food filled the air. We stumbled upon a small street vendor selling Chowmein and decided to give it a try. As we stood there, eating the steaming hot noodles under the dim streetlights, we were struck by the energy and vibrancy of the town. People were still out and about, enjoying the night and each other's company. What I loved most about the experience was how the street food brought people together. We were standing there, eating alongside locals and travelers alike, all of us united in our love of delicious food and the excitement of the town at night. The Chowmein itself was fantastic, with perfectly cooked noodles and a delicious blend of spices and vegetables. But what really made the experience special was the atmosphere and energy of the town. It was a reminder that food is not just about sustenance, but also about community and connection.
