Restaurant
Café Matisse, a Bahamian-style Italian restaurant, is housed in a 19th-century colonial mansion behind Parliament Square. The interior boasts French decor and walls adorned with prints of the eponymous artist. The menu offers modern dishes like veal Calamarata pasta, rack of lamb with mint crust, and mahi-mahi with heirloom vegetables.
The staff were super kind and welcoming. They brought over a second round of appetizers (which were delectable). Everything tasted amazing, especially the ravioli and octopus. The ravioli was super soft and tender, you could taste the love put into cooking it. The octopus was up there too! Don’t even get me started on dessert. The panna cotta and crème brûlée were mouth watering. It was delicious. Came out to around $400 for 5 people. Definitely a change in taste compared to some of the other meals around here.

Very cozy place. There are not a lot of places like that in Nassau. But this one is treasure. Atmosphere is esthetic, food is delicious. Tried both soups, and meat, and pasta, and appetizers. We were group of 12 people. Everybody loved this place. Enjoyed our staying outside. Quiet and cozy, like sitting in the Italian backyard.
Полина Я — Google review
Excellent! What a fantastic dining experience the restaurant is very charming and well appointed (the air conditioning a bonus on a warm day). The outdoor seating looks great and leaves you wanting to return for the outdoor experience as well in cooler weather. The table service was beyond compare and the attention to detail with a refined table etiquette elevated the experience in preparation for the superb cuisine. The food was delicious. Everything tasted fresh, well seasoned, and the portions perfect. We will most definitely be back. We highly recommend this restaurant experience.
Charlene R — Google review
Lovely restaurant in downtown Nassau, right next to the Supreme Court. The interior is beautiful and lively. The outdoor seating area also looked pleasant. Food was delicious. And all the servers were very attentive. Would highly recommend.
Tazin K — Google review
I loved the atmosphere of this cozy and chic little spot. It was recommended to us and we were glad to have gone. There isn't tons of parking but once inside the tables and layout are nice, even the bathrooms are well done. We had the seafood fantasia salad and the curry shrimp and they were both quite good. I loved the steps of focaccia and the tomato bruschetta they offered as complimentary appetizers. Our waiter was perfect, really very good and I wish I'd known his name but it looked as if all of the waiters there were equally good. Would definitely recommend it.
Michelle M — Google review
Awesome. That's the best way to describe Cafe Matisse. Don't go there looking for spaghetti and meatballs. Expect inventive, unique dishes that tantalize the taste buds. And don't skip the dessert. The white and chocolate mousse deserves 5 stars of its own.
Cindy D — Google review
Atmosphere and food is good. Service is quick. Walking from downtown, have vegan options too
Prashant B — Google review
This place is a true gem with fantastic Italian food. We had the salmon, pizza, and risotto and all were fantastic. The desserts are also scrumptious! This place has the most beautiful outdoor courtyard that is peaceful and tranquil among the hustle and bustle of Nassau. The wait staff was exceptional, making good recommendations and advising on the best menu options for a 5-year-old (pizza). The portions are sizeable, especially the pizzas. Note that water is not free, but for this caliber of a place, it makes sense. My whole family enjoyed it, which is hard to do with four different people with vastly different tastes. They also could easily accommodate my shellfish allergy which wasn’t the case at many of the restaurants we went to in the Bahamas.

Seafood restaurant
The Poop Deck, a well-established restaurant in Nassau for over 25 years, offers a blend of traditional Bahamian dishes and stunning views of the anchored Harbour boats and Paradise Island's lights. Guests can select their dinner from a variety of daily catches, including lane snapper, red snapper, hogfish, grouper, and spiny lobster prepared in various styles. Despite its unconventional name, the restaurant is renowned for its seafood selection and beachfront location.
Poop Deck on East Bay Street is a must-visit for fresh seafood, great drinks, and an unbeatable view. The restaurant sits right on the water, offering a beautiful marina view, which makes for a perfect dining experience, especially at sunset. The food was delicious. I had the conch fritters and fish fingers, both cooked to perfection. The conch fritters were crispy on the outside and packed with fresh conch inside. The fish fingers were tender, flaky, and full of flavor. The sides were just as good, with sweet, perfectly caramelized plantains and creamy coleslaw that balanced the meal so well. Everything paired perfectly with an ice-cold Kalik beer, making for the perfect Bahamian dining experience. The service was friendly and efficient, even with how busy it was. I visited on a Monday night, and the place was still packed, which speaks to its popularity. Despite the crowd, the staff was attentive and made sure everything was taken care of. If you are looking for great seafood, an amazing view, and a lively atmosphere, Poop Deck is the place to go. I will definitely be back.
Victor W — Google review
Hands down, must visit for Bahamian food. Seafood is fresh and well prepared. We had the fried grouper and Mama Mary’s Grouper. Drinks were strong and excellent, and not watered down. Conch fritters were good and can taste the thyme and celery. Service is excellent and often a hit or miss on the island. The view of course, is amazing. I highly recommend this establishment to potential diners.
Jane J — Google review
Ordered a whole red snapper. It was a fun experience picking out the exact fish we wanted. Came with two sides, we got fries and coleslaw. The fish was seasoned very well. Coleslaw was dressed well. Fries were okay. The spicy sauce was very spicy and citrusy, I liked it. It's right on the water. We come here every year we stay in Atlantis. Beautiful walk back over the bridge to paradise island.

A Romantic Bahamian Delight at Poop Deck – Nassau We had an unforgettable dining experience at Poop Deck in Nassau. The setting was pure magic—romantic and serene, right on the deck overlooking the water. The Bahamian cuisine was absolutely delicious, full of fresh flavors and local charm. Rakelle, our server, made the evening even more special with her attentive and friendly service. Everything was perfect—from the food to the ambiance. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Bahamian dishes in a dreamy waterfront setting.
Grigore T — Google review
The food was delicious and hot- though the restaurant was very full. I was with a large church group for a Saturday outing. We ordered appetizers, main and dessert with different types of drinks. The waitresses were on the top of their game. The kitchen staff had the orders coming out quickly. I had the calamari rings. They were soft with a golden breading. The tater sauce and red sauce complemented the dish well, but the calamari was flavorful and seasoned well enough not to need the additions. The seafood lover platter was delicious with shrimp, conch and mahi mahi. The seafood was not overly seasoned- letting the seafood shine on their own. The side of vegetables were crisp, buttery and delicious. I highly recommend the garlic potatoes- seasoned from the skin to the center. The ambiance emanates “vacation vibes.” We could see the ocean and various boats from the balcony. Various resorts are in the background. We went on a clear day with blue skies and a cool breeze.

Atmosphere 10/10 Service 9.5/10 - she could’ve checked on us more but overall so helpful and nice! She remembered our names. Her name was Elnicka. She’s a great server definitely keep her. She had great recommendations as well! Food 10/10 BUT this is this tough part…. I believe the mahi gave my husband food poisoning. Now. The food taste AMAZING! It’s the best food we have had this whole trip but today we are traveling back home to the Us with a sick husband which is no fun at all. For him or me 😅😬 the only thing different he ate than the rest of us was the mahi mahi.
Lindsey C — Google review
I did like the atmosphere, it is unique and a local place. The drinks were good and its by the water. Service, they work hard and had good speed with drinks and food. I ordered chicken and was not communicated with about their being a bunch of tiny bones in the chicken. I could have choked very easily (***warning). I have never had chicken like that before so I stopped eating it.
Miley R — Google review
Si far my favorite place in Nassau! Totally loved this place! The food was so delicious and fresh! Stone crabs were wow and the service great. Loved the view of the marina. Can’t wait to be back in town so I can visit this place again. Great experience and I totally recommend it.

Seafood restaurant
Goldie’s Conch House in Nassau is a must-visit for those seeking an authentic taste of Bahamian cuisine and culture. This local favorite offers a variety of delicious seafood dishes, such as cracked conch, conch salad, and fried fish, all served in a warm and inviting setting. The restaurant's lively outdoor bar and live music performances add to the vibrant nightlife scene.
Very wonderful time. Mr Goldie has amazing hospitality and cares about service. Food was amazing all the right amount of flavors & seasoning. Keshia the waitress was very amazing and patient took her time and explained everything with the food and drinks. The wait time for food wasn’t too long but well worth it. Everything was so fresh and hot. Drinks was good. Will be back

I ate at Goldie’s three different times during my trip to the Bahamas, and each visit was outstanding. The food, the atmosphere, and the service were all top notch. Everything I tried was fresh and full of flavor definitely a 10/10 experience. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area! Also recommend to come for Dinner, live music and just a vibe!

The whole island of Nassau is inhabited with wonderfully hospitable and friendly people. A cab driver recommended this restaurant and he is a local. We got the seafood sampler with red snapper, shrimp, and conch. We got the conch salad tropical. The lemonade is sublime. After we received our food our waitress forgot about us and I had to track her down to pay them for our meal. But otherwise she did a pretty good job. I loved watching the sea turtles colorful fish and luckily a stingray swim in the water right next to our lunch table. This was a great experience for a tourist. I recommend the red snapper, The fried shrimp wasn't anything special but it was good, I'm not sure I'm the person to ask about the conch because I just personally do not like it at all. It reminded me of seafood flavored rubber bands with some gristle similar to calf fries or chicken gizzards.
Meleesa R — Google review
I have been coming to Goldies since I was a kid and it keeps getting bigger and better! Still the best Conch Salad I've ever had! Also the lightly fried Grouper and fries were amazing! Make sure you walk on the outside dock as we saw manta rays, sea turtles, and thousands of conch shells! I come here every time I'm in Nassau and I highly recommend it 👌 👍
Craig M — Google review
Great spot! The conch fritters, fish fingers, and fried lobster were all amazing. Loved the potato salad and peas & rice sides too. The drinks were excellent, and we even got to see a few sea turtles while enjoying the view . Service was excellent—friendly and fun—and our server (Brian) being an Eagles fan made it even better! Definitely 5 stars!
Brian B — Google review
Great location right on the water. Super friendly service. Ordered the full fried red snapper, rice and peas, potato salad, and sweet plantains. Super fresh and tasty. Was recommended here by a few of the locals and they did not disappoint with the recommendation. Will definitely visit again on my next trip to the Island.
Sasha M — Google review
We ordered the red tail snapper dinner that comes with rice and peas and two sides. I chose macaroni and cheese and plantain we also had the fish Fry lunch combo, which is shrimp, conch and fried snapper with fries or salad and we cone salad. Our drinks were the holy water and the Junkanoo punch. Every bite of the food was absolutely delicious in season two perfection and the drinks were nice and strong and good. Highly recommend whenever I’m in nassu. Something to note* we sat outdoors and it was nice as we saw A stingray swam by us and a sea turtle but as soon as our food came, the flies were relentless and we were swatting them away like crazy.
C R — Google review
Goldie’s Conch House sits in the row of local spots at The Fish Fry, a popular area where you’ll find a mix of tourists and locals grabbing Bahamian seafood. It came recommended by a couple of locals, so we decided to give it a try. We started with the conch fritters ($6). They had good-sized chunks of conch, and the batter was seasoned well. The conch itself was a little rubbery, but since this was my first time trying it, I can’t say if that’s just the nature of conch or if it was slightly overcooked. For mains, I ordered the lobster fettuccine ($40). The pasta and cream sauce were tasty, and they mixed in carrots, cauliflower, and broccoli—an unusual but welcome addition. The lobster, though, was overcooked and ended up chewy, which took away from the dish. My husband went with the “cheeseburger snack” ($16), which was basically a standard cheeseburger, but cooked right. It was juicy, pink in the middle, and hit the spot. Service was solid. Our server (wish I had caught his name) was attentive and respectful without hovering. Bottom line: Goldie’s was fine, but it didn’t wow me. The bill came to about $90 for three people, which felt a little steep for what we got. Still, if you want to try conch for the first time or stick to something simple like a burger, it’s a decent stop while exploring The Fish Fry.

Fine dining restaurant
Katsuya Baha Mar is a must-visit destination for sushi lovers and cocktail enthusiasts alike, nestled within the luxurious SLS Baha Mar beach resort in Nassau. This contemporary dining spot offers an exquisite menu crafted by renowned sushi chef Katsuya Uechi, showcasing the best of Japanese cuisine with a focus on fresh ingredients like cucumbers. The restaurant features a stylish ambiance designed by Philippe Starck, providing both indoor and outdoor seating options that enhance your dining experience.
Thank you so much to the amazing staff who did their best to squeeze us in even though they were at capacity! The host was just amazing. She had a queue of customers, some a little intense in their demands & behaviour but she dealt with them so well and professionally. I would suggest to enforce some security to ensure there is a clear line for entry as it was very very messy outside. Aside that food was delicious we came twice during our stay! Thank you again for the exceptional service from start to finish…. duck fried rice our favourite. We loved it! 😋

This was one of the best restaurants I have ever stepped into. First wait time was very short and accommodating the lady at the front desk was genuinely friendly. Oh but when we went in to eat that's what got me. Their waiter Leonardo gave the best service we have ever gotten. His approach, his conversations, his down to earth position was very accommodating. Hats of to him and his helper Najee the both were great. The food was 10/10 , the price was great. All in all I give the whole experience 10/ 10. Continue the great job you all are doing.
Gibson P — Google review
Great service from our waiters. Very nice, friendly and helpful. After the waiter made some menu suggestions, we decided to go with the Katsuya tasting menu. Almost everything was good. The least favorite thing was the green tea dessert. I'm not a green tea fan and it probably is good for someone that likes the green tea flavor. Everything else on the tasting menu was awesome/excellent. Our favorite thing was the spicy edamame. The wagyu fried rice, sashimi, handroll were all excellent. No complaints and I would definitely return.
Christopher A — Google review
We ate here 27jan2025 and it was amazing. The servers were friendly and made great recommendations. We loved the wagyu gyoza, sushi and drinks. The lobster tacos, even though there was a lot of meat, lacked flavour. Would definitely recommend going more than once.
Lisa B — Google review
I like the restaurant atmosphere and the food was meh, I just have to say that the woman that worked there were not nice at all and rude. Specifically, the host and the waiter, both female. It’s not Service with a smile, it’s more like they don’t wanna be there. I don’t wanna help you. The edamame beans are the best. I’ve never had edamame taste this good before. It’s perfect with a Bere, but unfortunately our Bere was somewhat cold and not super cold for a $16 Japanese beer. You think if you’re paying that much money you get a cold beer I’d have to say the Toro was not good. The slices were too thin and all the sauce they put on it just takes away the flavor of the Toro. I think we spent like $79 on lobster tempura which sounded really good, but it was dry and tasted like cheap fish. It was the worst thing on the menu for sure. The Wagyu yakisoba was amazing, but it was too oily and it lacked the flavor of yakitori sauce. The pork dumplings were great!! Definitely order that. The prices here We’re just insanely expensive for mediocre food, especially the crappy lobster tempura. I guess I can’t complain when you’re buying bottled water in your hotel room for $24.

Katsuya – Baha Mar Ended the evening with dinner at Katsuya, and it was the perfect close to a long day. From the first bite to the final pour, everything flowed beautifully — elegant service, bold flavors, and that signature Baha Mar energy that makes you linger a little longer than planned. Sleek ambiance, impeccable plating, and sushi that lives up to the reputation. A beautiful way to end the night! - Michelle
Michelle S — Google review
One star only because their rice was the highlight of the night and their Wabi-Sabi drink. The rest of the food was a culinary disaster. It was plated and presented beautifully, but 4 out of the 5 dishes we ordered were borderline inedible. We were highly disappointed, especially because this was a restaurant we had been looking forward to trying. The server provided great service.

Located in the heart of Nassau, Bahamian Cookin' Restaurant & Bar specializes in authentic Bahamian cuisine. Offering a variety of dishes such as conch fritters, grouper, and lobster, it's great for exploring what the locals eat on a daily basis. The restaurant also offers restaurant buyout services for groups who book in advance and make a deposit.
Great food, but OK service. We ordered their fried chicken and grouper fish fingers - both were delicious and cooked to perfection (not overcooked or oily). Their peas n' rice were good, but not the best I've had on the Island. Their conch fritters were good, but could definitely use more conch in them. They are popular and busy, so it will take time to get your food. If you're in a rush, you might want to skip this place.

We really liked this spot. The young man welcomed us warmly and taught us how to pronounce Bahamian food and drink correctly. The guava duff and conch fritters are delicious! It seems like the perfect take out spot, but we sat down and chilled to beat the heat.

After walking all around Nassau we were looking for some good home cooking . This place was awesome. Nice cool AC inside. Delicious mac and cheese, conch fritters, cracked conch and curry chicken. Good service. Loved it!
Ross T — Google review
This was the best food I had in Nassau. The chicken in gravy was so delicious. The rice is like a Puerto Rican rice but with more seasoning. The Mac n cheese style here is more like a soufflé, I liked it. The cinch fritters are much better than what I’ve had in Florida, they are lighter & fluffier and not so densely breaded. The sauce is (again) similar to the Puerto Rican pink sauce but with some extra ingredients & some spice.

I popped in when in town on a cruise (of course) and I wanted to have lunch at a place with some local cuisine. Upon stopping in I was treated with great service and the food was really good; especially the peas and rice. I enjoyed my experience

Loved this place!!! The waitress was amazing. We weren't sure what to get. She told us to get the cracked conch and made us get different drinks to get a taste of everything.

We tried the couch fritters and chowder. Also grouper fingers and fried chicken. All was very good. This establishment has been around for years. Our travel mates have eaten here for over 10 years. We arrived at noon. It was very busy, probably due to 5 cruise ships in port. The place was very clean and not noisy. Diffently worth a try.

We came to Nassau seeking conch. When we arrived, we were not disappointed. First, the restaurant is clean and welcoming. The staff is extremely courteous and very attentive. Very impressed. The food was great. We ordered conch chowder, 1/2 dozen conch fritters and cracked conch (not exaggerating when I said we were seeking conch). I have an affinity for cracked conch, and this was fantastic . This will be my permanent spot for conch when I come to visit Nassau. P.S. I also saw plates of the curry chicken and rice/peas and that looked fantastic 🤤

Seafood restaurant
Twin Brothers is a popular restaurant in Nassau, known for its wide variety of Bahamian seafood dishes such as snapper, salmon, grouper, fried shrimp with potato salad, and lobster tail. Located in an area known as 'the fish fry,' it offers a range of seafood entrees including grouper, fried snapper, cracked lobster, salmon, shrimp and combination plates. The restaurant is also famous for its daiquiris.
Food here is excellent with the cracked conch and fish and chips very good. The fish was fried to perfection and had a slightly spicy flavor/marinade to it that made it extremely good and probably the best fish and chips we have ever had. Sands local beer is also very good and recommended

The fried snapper, coleslaw, and plantains were absolutely delicious! Thank you so much for the birthday chocolate rum cake; it was a lovely treat! Our waitress was really friendly, although we had to keep asking for water, and it took a bit longer than we expected to settle the bill. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!

I ordered jerk chicken and it was good had a good flavor, macaroni is not the “American Macaroni” that I’m use to I didn’t like it, rice and beans we dry didn’t care for it. Service was terrible. We sat there for 20 mins without anything to drink and everybody kept passing by asking did our server come take our order. Daiquiri was very good had a good flavor one of the best drink I had while being on island.

Goldie's: A Bahamian Seafood Gem! If you're ever in the "Fish Fry" area of Nassau, Bahamas, you absolutely have to check out Goldie's! My recent visit was nothing short of fantastic, and the food truly lived up to its reputation. We were thrilled with our meal—the food was great! As expected, the menu is primarily fish-focused, offering a wonderful variety. We saw everything from succulent lobster to the local specialty, conch, prepared in numerous delicious ways. The experience was made even better by the atmosphere. We chose to sit outside, which allowed us to soak in the sounds of the ocean and watch the neighboring ships pass by as we dined. It was a truly memorable and relaxing setting. Overall, Goldie's offers an authentic taste of the Bahamas with an unbeatable ambiance. We left feeling completely satisfied and would highly recommend it!

We were so disappointed eating here. It was recommended to us by a local and so we thought it would be good local food. It certainly was not. We overall did not enjoy anything at all. The conch fritters were ok, more bread than conch. The jerk chicken was soooo spicy even though mild was preferred and my surf and turf burger meat was so tough I could not eat. The rice and peas were extremely dry and the waiter was so nonchalant she didn't even ask for our drinks. Another waiter stopped and got drinks for us; she visited our table once to order & to bring food. I understand busyness but we were not checked on at all. Plus the wait time was sooo long. Spent ~$89. I cannot recommend this place and hate that we didn't enjoy this experience. Sadly, I cannot recommend this restaurant

Food was below average & overly expensive!!! Definitely a huge tourist trap. While all the other restaurants along this strip had around the same prices, only Twin Brothers marked up theirs + 25% mandatory tax on top. Ordered: conch chowder — tbh, it tasted like Campbell tomato soup with a few pieces of chewy conch and a stale piece of buttered bread. Cracked conch — breading was good but conch was so chewy, came with fries which was probably the best part of the meal. IMO, this place was probably better back in the days, but there’s so many other choices out there

Good food for a place like this one .. good service as well. Ordered the fish of the day and it was very well spiced and made. Comes with a side of pasta and fries .. pasta wasn’t good but the fires were real home made Price is touristy and is a bit on the high side . I was expecting 30% less on the bill

The food here was really good! Had the conch fritters, the snapper and a guava duff. I had a regular non alcoholic daiquiri and it was like a slushy. Great for a hot day! Service here is pretty good and really loved the red snapper!!

It was my birthday. My son and daughter accompanied me on this special day. My daughter recommended this place seeing that she usually orders take out from here often. The food was the best especially their signature burger. The service was top notched. Even the hostess that showed us to our table treated us like royalty. No waiting at all on this day.

Almost everything was packed with flavor, though the sushi was slightly soggy—perhaps due to the flame. The highlight of the meal was the spicy shrimp with pita, which was exceptional. The spreads were delicious, and the ambiance added to the overall experience.

This is a wonderful place for adults while visiting Nassau. I have never tasted food like this - a must go, if you're not afraid to go a little in island. Has a full bar as well with many craft cocktails.

The food was very good — we especially enjoyed the chicken kebabs and snapper. The cocktails were great too. It was a quiet, relaxed setting, and we casually played cards while we ate. A really nice, chill experience overall

Outstanding experience, the Bahama way! Excellent from start to finish! Meal was paced perfectly, party of 8. Started as a party of 6 and we added two to the party. Every course was excellent. Every course and beverages were excellent! We will be back year after year.

We walked-in that place with no reservation the night we got to Nassau, they offered us seats at the bar which we gladly took; Thanks for the accommodation! The food was 10/10, service was great, friendly staff. It was quite cold in the restaurant so make sure you dress accordingly. The ambiance was quiet. Overall 8/10 experience!

Meze lived up to the existing reviews. The food is excellent quality and quantity, and the presentation and flavours are very good. Drinks were balanced and well presented. Service was too notch. Definitely on the go to list for Nassau Cable Beach.

Athena Cafe & Bar is a family-owned restaurant located on Bay Street since 1996. It has become a popular spot for both locals and visitors, offering Mediterranean food with Greek and Bahamian influences. The restaurant is known for its gluten-free options and is a favorite lunch spot for downtown workers and savvy cruisers. Guests can enjoy their meals on the second floor or balcony while taking in views of Nassau's downtown area.
Hands down the best food is Nassau . We spent 6 nights I Nassau and the food was such a disaster and so expensive but no quality until we came the Athena’s . The food is spectacular just by reading the menu you know you are at a restaurant that cares . They used fresh mint leaves 🍃 in their lemonades it was delicious I has the passion fruit lemonade so fresh not too sweet like all the sugary drink we found everywhere else . So happy this place exist on this island it’s a redeeming grace I enjoyed the service the food the drinks everything is as so well made and well presented I 100 percent recommend this place . Please skip all the other restaurants on this island and only order from Athena’s breakfast lunch and dinner you’ll think me later

Highly recommend. We sat at the bar due to all the tables being occupied. Alex the bartender took care of us and pointed us in the right direction for our food selections. Calamari and pan fried grouper were great.
Jarrett L — Google review
Expensive, food is so-so, but why we will not return was a bait and switch of the check. Calamari ($18) was tasteless; rubber has more flavor. Honestly the gyros ($20 each) was tasty - I had the lamb, husband had the pork. The presentation is also pretty. Check arrived for $80; we put down $100. The waiter made small talk and asked if we were in on a ship (we were). However change appeared in Bahamian Dollars and a bunch of coins — to a new check of $91.72?! Apparently he had given us the wrong check earlier. But never said a thing and switched the check. We also had to ask for change to be in USD — this has never happened in all our years sailing to Nassau. I feel that they were hoping for a bigger tip on top of the 15% gratuity included in the check, and providing change in Bahamian Dollars means one might end up leaving the change. My husband captains our ship, and a fair number of our colleagues patronise this restaurant. But unfortunately we cannot recommend it. It was also noisy, dusty, and the service was lacklustre. They’d check in on you endlessly and sweep in to clear the dishes as soon as you stop eating just for a sec.
Ange B — Google review
Great food and excellent service. Really enjoyed our meal. Little pricey compared to UK prices but well worth it for a bite in the nice weather on vacation. Can recommend the gyros. I had the shrimp gyros. Drinks are great lemonade made pretty fresh and cocktails are great tasting.

Some of the best food I’ve ever had while on the island everything was so fresh and tasteful and the service was top tier. I can’t wait to go back!!! Oh and the most authentic tzatziki sauce I ever had in my life. This place is a must try!

WOW! Our taxi driver highly recommended this place to grab lunch while enjoying downtown Nassau. It coincided with the great reviews so we decided to give it a try. We entered through a jewelry store as the place itself sits above. Therefore, there is a staircase. The place itself was quaint. The staff was amazing! They were so friendly. Our server was so attentive while giving excellent recommendations. We started with the Chicken Avgolemono soup which was FANTASTIC! I’ve never had a soup like this. My husband and I split the cracked conch which was delicious. It came over fries. The sauces were also excellent. My boys enjoyed their cheeseburgers and sides. Their meals were a healthy portion. I thought prices were fair and the portions excellent. Highly recommend!
Becky K — Google review
Really cute place above a jewelry store. We walked by and decided to stop and we lucked out!! You go up the stairs (trust the process, it doesn't look like there's a restaurant there but there is). Our server was such a happy friendly likable person that I found myself thinking, could you serve me some of that great attitude with my meal?? I was so happy to have some fresh vegetables! Crisp and refreshing. They were great and so was the silky smooth hummus with a light consistency. The sandwich was very good and filling. I got a Greek salad with delicious shrimp. It was like a side salad. We shared. I would order just the shrimp but the salad was delicious too with just the right amount of dressing. We had water bottles with us. I didn't order drinks because $75 is already steep for lunch. That's my complaint is that things are priced really high (probably because of cruise ship traffic since it's so near port). The fries were still hot and delicious, thick cut with a nice seasoning. We saw the table next to us order a melted cheese dish with pita bread that they light on fire first and it made me want to try it! I'm glad we went and I'd recommend it. We didn't want to eat in a bar and were really hungry and left happy!

Here's Option 1 for your review, ready to copy: A Mixed Bag: Superb Food, but Service and Price Points Miss the Mark My recent dining experience offered some truly spectacular highs, but also a few significant lows. The atmosphere was undeniably amazing – beautiful, modern, and incredibly chic, setting a wonderful backdrop for the evening. The food was the absolute star. I can confidently say that the salmon was one of the best dishes I've ever had in my life. Every bite was a revelation, perfectly prepared and bursting with incredible flavors. The desserts were equally fantastic, a perfect sweet ending to an otherwise superb meal. However, like much of Nassau, this restaurant comes with a very steep price tag. What truly disappointed me was that the service simply did not resonate with the premium price paid. I've had the pleasure of dining at other high-caliber chef restaurants around the world where the service was impeccable and perfectly justified the cost, often at a more reasonable price point than here. While the food is undoubtedly worth experiencing, the overall value for money, especially considering the service, left something to be desired.
Simone A — Google review
This restaurant gets an overall 3 for average. In comparison to other restaurants it was a step above. The setting and ambiance is very beautiful and right on the water. The food was “okay” but certainly it on par with other Four Seasons restaurants we have been to nor Chef-owned quality we have enjoyed elsewhere. The service was slightly better than the terrible and rude service we have been experiencing throughout Nassau. Seriously though, a restaurant that says it is part of Four Seasons needs to be well above the rest and this sadly was not. We ordered steak that had to be returned because was incorrectly cooked, the salmon was very good, the organic chicken was good but not amazing, the lamb chops were okay but the sauce saved them, the beet salad was very good, the burrata was very wet and runny and lacked flavor. The desserts were underwhelming and their presentation was lacking. The children did not enjoy their meals. The last thing that was abysmal was they tossed the sharing plates for the desserts at us instead of placing them in front of us. ABSOLUTELY AWFUL. Cost was about $180 per adult.
Onthegoboomer — Google review
Huge disappointment. We ordered the Black Plate Appetizer Sampler ($100 for 2) and what we got was laughable—fried shrimp, soggy “crispy” rice, and a samosa that didn’t belong on the plate. The only highlight was the conch salad, but honestly, you can get the same (or better) quality at the Fish Fry for a fraction of the price. The lobster was overcooked, and the curry garnish added nothing. Fries weren’t crispy and didn’t even come out hot. We sent back the Brussels sprouts altogether. Overall, the entire experience was underwhelming and not worth the money. For the same price point, we had a much better meal at Nobu—not by the waves, but at least the food was excellent. Would not recommend this spot.
Aleksandra C — Google review
Very disappointing experience. The price point reflects the Jean George standard price, but the product is no where near JG level. We dined inside, and still had to fight off a ton of flies while trying to enjoy our meal. Our table had a dead orchid on it, it was so off putting. If you have a choice between placing a dead plant on a table or no plant, go for NO PLANT, how is that JG fine dinning. We left the restaurant smelling like burnt cooking oil, our hair, clothing, I should send them my dry cleaning bill and hair salon bill, it was that bad. The food was mediocre for the price. The tuna was grey instead of red, the mashed potatoes were bland and just soaked in butter with zero flavor. The dessert was so inedible we had to send it back. At $150 per person, this felt like a rip off. To add further insult to injury, they add a 15% mandatory tip to the check AND force you to leave additional tip when paying the check.
T C — Google review
Atmosphere is great. It’s Four Seasons.. Food is okayish. Nothing special and definitely not worth the price. Service is pretty bad. Had to wait for 20 minutes with 3 other family members and at the end was fooled to leave a 35% tip. The guy literally gave me the credit card reader first and I left a 20% tip, minute later he gave me the check which had an included tip of 15%. This is a not great look for this place. I would not recommend this place to honorable people. Stealing is not welcome in a better world..

We didn’t have a reservation but they insisted that we sit right at the bar even though the surrounding tables at the bar were empty!! The creamed collard greens were delicious! This was our second visit to Baha Mar, and after missing the chance to dine at Marcus Chop House the first time, we made it a point to book months in advance for this trip—and let me tell you, it was so worth the wait! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and immediately knew we were in for something special. But what truly elevated the entire experience was our incredible server, Matthew. He was an absolute standout—attentive without being overbearing, lightning-fast with everything we needed, and genuinely kind and personable. It's rare to encounter someone who makes you feel both completely taken care of and totally relaxed, but Matthew did just that. He truly made our evening unforgettable. As for the food—WOW. Every dish we tried was nothing short of phenomenal. From the perfectly cooked steaks to the vibrant, flavorful sides and indulgent desserts, the entire meal was a masterclass in fine dining. The presentation, the flavors, the ambiance—it all came together for an experience we’ll be talking about for a long time. If you’re visiting Baha Mar, do not miss Marcus Chop House—and if you’re lucky enough to have Matthew as your server, you’re in for a top-tier experience. We can’t recommend it enough!

Wow…there are several places to eat here at Baha Mah BUT not any that I’ve found that were as good as this. Appetizer, Conch Fritters. Salad, Lettuce Wedge was HUGE (share this $17 starter), Entree’, Grouper Seared on both sides and finished in the broiler. Veggies (Collard Greens), were spot-on Great! Drinks were refilled before empty. My GoTo spot for dinner. You must have a reservation well before dinner. Lesson learned! It sells out. We sat at the bar.

With two convenient locations—one at Arawak Cay's vibrant Fish Fry and another nestled within Marina Village at Atlantis—you'll find a menu brimming with local flavors. Signature dishes include their famous coconut Kalik soup and succulent lobster tail, alongside tasty appetizers like fried plantains, conch ceviche, and creamy macaroni and cheese.
The food was excellent! Service was friendly and the menu had something for everyone. We wanted something with a little more island flair and this place had it. My husband ordered the ribs and they were delicious. Nice and tender and awesome flavor. I ordered the chowder and lobster taco appetizer. All wonderful and the portions were huge. We will definitely be coming back next time we’re on the island.

The food was nice, service very nice and friendly! We ordered the fish tacos which were great and the conch salad which was good too! A bit pricy but in the average of the island.

The seafood tacos were really good as well as the fish sandwich, don’t sleep on the mango Mayo!!! You’ll want to put that on everything. The Cay Lime pie is also good, not as lime forward as a Key lime, but still a good finish to a delicious meal. I would recommend this restaurant, with the addition of live music you can’t help but relax and enjoy.
Sheena W — Google review
Frankie's is the best restaurant easily accessible from Atlantis! The prices are still much higher than any fish fry in Nassau, but the staff are very friendly and the food is fresh, delicious and authentic. I started with the conch fritters which were packed with fresh conch but still much lighter and not as greasy as you might find at other restaurants, and then had a sampler portion of shrimp and grits with sides of coleslaw and plantains. The shrimp and grits was deceiving as there was one large shrimp on top which was perfectly cooked, but the grits were also loaded with smaller shrimp pieces, making for a great and filling portion. The slaw and plantains were both great as well, although some of the plantains were a bit under-fried. To finish, Frankie's cay lime pie was not too tart with a crumbly and delicious graham crust. I stopped in twice during my visit and was not disappointed!
Paul K — Google review
The drinks here are fantastic on the contrary to all the places around it. Fantastic Mojitos. Island snapper is very good. My favorite thing by faaar was the peas n grits. Waaaw so good. Jerky chicken was great too. The cracked conch and conch fritters where not good at all but I kept the 5 stars bec everything else was amazing. The Rum cake and Cay lime pie were out of this world amazing. So I obviously had a lot to eat haha. There might be a long wait so plan ahead or out your name in and go roam at the Marina Village.

If you're on the hunt for an unforgettable culinary experience in the Bahamas, look no further than Dino's Gourmet Conch Salad. This charming establishment is renowned for its innovative take on a classic dish, blending fresh conch with vibrant fruits like mango and pineapple to create a tropical conch salad that bursts with flavor. Located off West Bay Street in Nassau, Dino's has earned its reputation as a pioneer in this unique preparation style, being the first to incorporate fruits into their conch salad recipe.
Extremely delicious conch salad! This place is the perfect location right across the beach and they serve up the freshest conch salad on the island! The location is along the western road. Along with the conch salad, I had very fresh lemonade and the owner stopped by to speak who is very friendly! Recommend this as a must visit.
Ashley — Google review
A truly unique and unforgettable Bahamian experience! We had never tried anything like conch salad before, so this was totally new territory for us, and wow, what a ride for the taste buds! The conch was so fresh and the salad was bursting with bold, zesty flavors, spicy, fruity, tangy, and limey all at once. It even reminded me a little of Indian BHEL (minus the seafood, of course). The real star was the chef behind the counter, so skilled and incredibly patient, spending what felt like ages meticulously chopping and mixing everything with such care. Meanwhile, we probably devoured it in five minutes flat! The whole setup felt authentic and local, from the seaside location (literally where they pull in the conch!) to the laid-back Bahamian tunes and friendly vibe. Pro tip: don’t order the large unless you’re sharing, it’s massive and easily feeds four! Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to taste the real local flavor of the Bahamas.
Khushnam P — Google review
A very unique and local hangout. The open bar next door and this conch salad restaurant are all owned by the same family THE MOST AMAZING AND FRESH CONCH SALAD YOU WILL EVER HAVE !
J O — Google review
Tropical conch salad. The location feels more like a dive to most of us Americans, but it’s worth it. For less than the cost of a conch salad appetizer at one of the resorts, you get a massive bucket of the freshest conch salad you can find. Highly recommended the tropical conch salad. The peppers are no joke so go easy if you don’t like heat. Take your food across the street and sit in the sea wall and enjoy!
Micah W — Google review
I literally grew up around the corner from this place. Dino’s is the birthplace of tropical conch salad. It is not a restaurant, although there is limited seating. The conch is fresh out of the ocean, which is literally across the street. They also make a mean Sky Juice (gin and coconut water) that I recommend. Now that I think of it, I’ve never had a tropical conch salad anywhere BUT from Dino’s, that’s how highly I rate their bestseller. Bring patience though, it takes time to create these delicious masterpieces. I was pleased to find out on my most recent visit that they’ve added credit payment processors and WiFi for customer convenience. I highly recommend Dino’s!

Great service and great experience! The Medium Regular Conch Salad was perfect. The fresh ingredients seem to be enhanced by the beautiful view. Great portion size with a fair price!
Darius S — Google review
We ordered a tropical conch salad and a fruit salad. It took about an hour and 15 minutes to get our food, but that was because we came at the peak of the dinner rush. During the wait, we watched as Dino made all of the food. That guy is a chopping machine! The fruit salad was really good. The conch salad was flavorful, but not what we were expecting. It was like a cross between ceviche and salsa that you just eat with a spoon. Would be even better served with corn chips or crackers.
Dave C — Google review
Before our vacation, I looked up the best place for a tropical conch salad and found Dino's. Let me just tell you Dino's did not disappoint at all!! The conch salad was one of the best things we ate on the Island! We got to meet Dino himself and got to even have the whole Conch experience by pulling them out of their shells and some more very fun and wild things!! You must go here. Dino is incredibly friendly and their whole staff is just amazing!! We tried the local beer and ate the most delicious food. I would give Dino's 100 stars if I could!!!! Gold's Bar, Restaurant & Souse House is a must-visit destination for anyone looking to indulge in authentic Bahamian cuisine. One of the standout dishes here is souse, a delightful and hearty concoction that beautifully blends tender meat—often chicken—with an array of fresh vegetables like onions, bell peppers, carrots, and celery.
Service was quick, the curry sheep tongue was much better than I thought and the chicken fettuccine was delightful. Looking forward to trying out their souse menu.
Aaron J — Google review
The drinks are moderately priced, so is the food. This isn’t your average Bahamian restaurant, it’s Bahamian food cooked by Haitians so the food has a Haitian twist/flavor. The BBQ ribs are beef ribs not pork, they were ok and the curry conch was ok as well. The coleslaw was chopped and not shredded, it really didn’t have much of a taste. The plantains were way too soft, almost seemed boiled. I didn’t necessarily enjoy lunch here. I’ve had sheep tongue souse from here on numerous occasions. The souse is amazing; I’d definitely recommend this place for souse but nothing else.

I've personally spent my own money twice here, but have been bought the food from here more than that. Yesterday I experienced some very terrible customer service, worse than the last time, and have decided they won't get another dime from me, nor will I eat from them again. Yesterday the female cashier completely ignored me, she could hear me, she just chose not to respond to my kind request to check me out before proceeding to clean the counter, after having waited and witness her clean the counter after she spilled water all over it, including on me. Now I wasn't feeling petty, so I didn't fret, she asked if the water hit me, I said yes, but it's not a big deal, but after her putting napkins down to catch it and clean it, it's back to my turn right? I order chicken souse, the guy on the phone said ready in 5-10, I came 20 minutes later- I wasn't feeling well, and was moving awfully slow. I asked the lady, please ma'am, I'm not feeling very well, can you check me out and then get back to that. She said nothing. I asked her again a little bit after that, she again didn't say anything back. The guy who answered the phone said, check the lady out! This heffa still kept wiping and moving orders and wiping and cleaning. It wasn't that much darn water! So yes, she's a heffa for that! I was seconds away from taking my card and ID back, but that's when she finally swiped it and bagged my stuff. I needed that souse yesterday, otherwise, I would have left. I've been known to keep my money in the face of bad service. Anyway, the chicken eneded up being tough and the Johnny cake was not good, it did have a bit of a fishy taste, like it sat too close to some boiled fish or something. I ate it, but you get it. Edible, just not good. The pepper sauce is delicious too. But do you know how many spots in Nassau serving delicious souse??? PLENTY! GOLD'S got the last dollar they gone get out of me. Oh yeah, bathroom sucks, door don't close, no toilet paper, soap, not clean- 2 occasions, months apart. Bye!

Love it. Especially the turkey souse. Always clean..not greasy like other places. There's a "souse house" at my front door and I still prefer to drive to Golds

I am not in love with the place but the food is amazing. It's off the beaten path on Soldier Road, like those little dark places that people go when they don't want to be seen🤭☺️😇 However, the food never disappoints and the service is good. The stew conch is to die for and the souse is always clean and delicious. If you eat in, you get more food. Overall, it's a cool place to grab some good down home food. Btw: the owner makes you feel safe, as he is a no-nonsense person that don't allow vagrants in his place.

This charming brasserie combines traditional French dining with tropical flair, making it a haven for food enthusiasts seeking something special. The family-run establishment serves up a delectable array of dishes, including their renowned Wagyu bavette paired with crispy pomme frites.
Our first time dining. We did not have reservations. It was New Years Eve, and we sat at the bar, which my husband prefers anyhow. Lovely atmosphere, and everyone was so friendly and attentive. We fly out tomorrow & and are going back for dinner tonight!!

Food was excellent. Service wonderful Wine mediocre Dessert was a disgrace / inedible…2 bites and I was done - don’t order the lemon tart! It’s too expensive for mediocre wine and inedible desserts to ruin your otherwise pretty good meal. It wasn’t worth the journey all the way across the island - too bad really.

Truly the BEST restaurant in Nassau. If you care about food quality - this is your spot. Authentic French cuisine, consistently incredible.

I have visited this restaurant four times and always had delicious food. The service is fantastic and it has a beautiful atmosphere inside. The tastiest and freshest food on the island.

Beautiful restaurant, great ambience but average food. We had some mix ups with the food and service due to food allergies but owner made up for it with a discount. Service was friendly but could be improved, given average prices of the restaurant.

Cute cafe with a calm atmosphere. I tried the matcha latte and a slice of carrot cake—both were amazing. Great place to unwind.

Enjoyed my time here. Went to celebrate a friend's birthday, and I wanted a spot that was secluded and out of the way. I'll just say that this was the perfect fit. The cocktails are very refreshing, and the service wasn't overbearing. At night the mood is swxy too me, dimmed light, soft music and just laughter in the background. Try the mussles and The NY sour. Thank me later

Visiting Island brothers was the best restaurant experience I had in the Bahamas- lovely ambience, service, food, wine, music. Luke, the bartender and Gregory, my server, took very good care of me and as a solo diner. Island Brothers was the image of professionalism and luxury. The ginger margarita was amazing

Japanese restaurant
Restaurant
Nobu, the internationally renowned restaurant chain by chef Nobu Matsuhisa, has established its presence in major cities worldwide. The Atlantis location mirrors the elegance and modern design of its counterparts, offering a diverse menu featuring sushi, sashimi, steaks, tempura, and various Japanese dishes. In Nassau at Atlantis Bahamas, Nobu provides an ultra-luxe dining experience with a fusion of Japanese and Peruvian influences.
This was our third time at Nobu and we can’t wait to be back. All of our future Atlantis visits will definitely have a dinner at Nobu on our itinerary. We love the entire experience. Food is top notch, service is great and ambience is amazing!! Make sure you have reservations well ahead of time. 100% recommended and worth it!!

If you are visiting Nassau, Bahamas, Nobu is a must if you enjoy delicious food in a beautiful atmosphere. Our waiter Hearn gave us suggestions and answered all of our questions about the different types of food being offered. The Crispy Rice with Tuna Tartar is amazing, as are the wonderfully fresh scallops. Bevan, the restaurant director stopped by our table to say hello and wish us a happy anniversary. They made our 25th even more special. These incredible chocolate treasures with ice cream were the perfect ending. Thank you for the wonderful experience on such an important day for us.

Our experience at Nobu in Atlantis was absolutely outstanding. The food and atmosphere were everything you’d expect from a world-class restaurant, but what really made the night unforgettable was the staff. The team was professional, fun, and brought an energy that made the whole experience so much more enjoyable. Brandon the bartender and Loyd the bar back truly went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. These gentlemen didn’t just do their jobs, they made us feel like old friends, turning an already great evening into something exceptional. Their attention to detail, genuine hospitality, and great sense of humor made it all the more worthwhile. Highly recommend stopping by Nobu at Atlantis - and if you get the chance, grab a seat at the bar with Brandon and Loyd. You’ll be glad you did and won't regret it!

This was a great experience. I was able to snag a last minute reservation. The service was attentive and the menu has a wide variety of items to choose from. We had mostly small bites and they were all amazing. The blue fin nigiri was so good. We loved the mini tacos, I had the salmon and my husband got the waygu beef. So fortunate to have the opportunity to experience this restaurant after watching the chef for years.

The food was outstanding. The best California Roll that we've ever had! The beef and chicken skewers were tender and seasoned perfectly. The cheesecake was light and creamy with a soft cake paired perfectly with the mango sorbet. The place was very busy but the waitstaff provided excellent service.

Nobu Bahamas absolutely exceeded my expectations. The food was outstanding!! Every dish felt thoughtfully made and full of flavor. I really loved the seared salmon with karashi sumiso, wagyu dumplings, Bahamian roll, spicy crispy tuna rice, and tuna tacos. The Yellowtail sashimi was so fresh, and the miso soup was simple but perfect. The staff was amazing from start to finish, and even one of the managers came by our table to make sure everything was perfect, which I really appreciated. I also had an espresso martini and it was one of the best I’ve ever had. The ambience was great. It was upscale but still comfortable and relaxed. Nobu Bahamas is definitely worth visiting if you’re looking for a memorable meal in the islands.

Restaurant
Seafire Steakhouse, nestled within the vibrant Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island, is a must-visit for those seeking a modern dining experience infused with local flair. The restaurant boasts an inviting atmosphere characterized by high ceilings and striking tile work, complemented by an open display kitchen that adds to its contemporary charm. Diners can indulge in a menu that features Bahamian-inspired starters like creamy conch chowder and crab cakes alongside classic favorites such as Caesar salad and beef carpaccio.
We had a reservation on a Wednesday night for two. The immediate inside of the restaurant with the meat freezer is a little run down, but the inside of the restaurant is nice. The bread was warmed and delicious. We had the Tomahawk for two. We asked for medium rare, and it was a little more red than I’m comfortable with, but the texture was great so I didn’t mind. The steak was cut table-side, which was really cool. We also got the mac and cheese, which was a smaller portion than expected but delicious. For drinks we got the pineapple rosemary smash and a blueberry cocktail with mint. The flavors were great and they were very refreshing. We would definitely return!

We definitely loved being here and they’re wonderful service. Can’t wait to come back. Thank you so much.

We are a group of locals who were celebrating my mom’s birthday and this restaurant did not disappoint! The food was to die for and the service from the staff was friendly and professional. The star of our evening was Ricardo, our busser who went above and beyond to cater to our every need. He was purely entertaining, pleasant and brought great energy to our evening. He went far above and beyond to make sure we were accommodated and comfortable. A true star. My mom has said it was an evening she will never forget. Thank you so much to the wonderful staff at Seafire for a beautiful evening, Ricardo we will definitely be back!

Cozy atmosphere, great service, and delicious food! I had the ribeye (med-rare), which was definitely one of the best steaks I've had, and my wife had the salmon that was cooked perfectly. We ordered the crispy brussel sprouts and the Yukon potato puree for our sides. All, so good! To drink, I had an old fashioned which topped off my dinner. It's definitely pricey but you're getting quality food and service.

Topic: Seafire Steakhouse Date: 5/16/25 Quality: 8/10 Value: 2/10 Service: 7/10 Timeliness: 6/10 Atmosphere: 1/10 Total: 24/50 Regarding the atmosphere alone, I would not recommend anyone go here. We went at 8pm for a reservation, and it is INSANELY LOUD inside. (Easily the loudest restaurant I’ve ever been in - you have to yell for your table to hear anything you say, they also cheer very loudly for birthdays FYI which occur no less than once a minute) Part of the downgraded review is that the value is almost nonexistent here, the tab was about double what we expected to pay and we split 2 steaks for 4 people. We split the New York and they did kindly split it in the kitchen which was very thoughtful. If you drink water ensure you say tap and not flat or sparking as they charge $10 per bottle of water used. $37 for two prawns and an additional $5 for one side of sauce were other standouts for being very, very pricey. House bread and butter for table 2/5 (flavorless, butter needed salt) Moscow Mule 5/5 (Perfect amount of lime) Merlot Wine 4/5 New York 4.5/5 (Large cut - almost perfect! Just needed some plating work) Filet Mignon 4/5 (ordered medium, came closer to medium rare, still fairly good, needs a bit of seasoning) Hand Cut Steak Frites 1.5/5 (completely flavorless, needs salt and some more seasoning) Potato Puree 4/5 Brussel Sprouts 4/5 (a bit too sweet) Prawns 4/5 (a bit overcooked)

We had an absolutely wonderful dinner at Seafire on our Atlantis vacation. The steaks were so delicious. My wife had the filet, my son devoured a ribeye and I savored a new york. Don't skip the brussel sprouts or the lobster bisque. All were cooked to perfection. Outstanding table service from Stephanie and Randy. Such a great meal!! Highly recommend!!

I am not one to complain when I dine out, but this was one of the WORST experiences I have ever had with lack of service and downright rudeness from a waiter named Geordiano. From the moment my wife and I sat down we were treated like trash. Rushed to put our entire order in within 10 minutes of being seated and didn’t even have a drink menu yet. After we did finally order, we had to beg for water refills, plates were not taken after each course (not a big deal, but you’d expect it at this place) and we were made to feel like fools for saying please and thank you. Tried to reorder another glass of wine all night and when we finally did they brought the wrong wine back to us. We were nothing but polite throughout the entire service, but Geordiano couldn’t be bothered to give us the same mutual respect in return. My wife and I both felt uncomfortable the entire night and the table next to us even noticed and asked what the deal was? The couple who was sat next to us maybe an hour into our dinner was told the specials of the night, what the staff recommends, etc. like the waiter did a complete 180, we were never told the specials or house recommendations and were just rushed to order. The best part of the entire night was when they finally brought the bill and he wanted to call me “young man” with sarcasm and pat my back… yes, you did not get an additional tip for your McDonald’s type mediocre service while everyone around us was treated like royalty. I am more than happy to go above and beyond with my tips, but if you’re going to be rude and treat us disrespectfully the entire night because we look “young” and didn’t order Pellegrino instead of tap water, you deserve nothing. Jokes on you at the end of the day because you could’ve had a 30% additional tip on top of the already included gratuity on the bill. The food was good, but the lack of service and rudeness does not justify ever coming back to this place. Go to Fish or Carmines if you want to be treated like a human when you’re spending $250+ on dining out. This was supposed to be a special night for my wife and I, but it was completely ruined by Geordiano. Do better

Arawak Cay, also known as "The Fish Fry," is a vibrant dining area in Nassau, Bahamas. It features a colorful row of Bahamian restaurants and food stands offering a variety of local dishes such as conch salad, scorched conch, conch fritters, cracked conch, and conch chowder.
We always enjoy going to a local place. This was a place we found 7 years ago on our honeymoon. When we recently took a cruise and had a port at Nassau, we knew we had to go find it again and remanence. The place has had a face lift and some remodeling done. The owner even went out of his way to get us some Guava Duff, a must try with in Nassau. We also enjoyed the couch salad, very spicy, asked for the spice on the side. Do miss this friendly and welcoming place with excellent food. We will see you again hopefully soon.

We found Jerry at the Fish Fry Street, a place home to more than 50 establishments that offer incredible food, specializing in seafood. It’s difficult to choose the best spot; some are well-known and celebrated, while others are more modest. However, all of them are fantastic, and none would dare to claim they are the best.
The M — Google review
Our experience at The Fish Fry was absolutely terrible. We waited over two hours just to receive our food, and when it finally arrived, half of our orders were incorrect. The service was shockingly poor — our host and waitress were unhelpful, inattentive, and to make matters worse, we were overcharged on our bill. This place came highly recommended by the taxi drivers who brought us to the area, but the whole thing felt like a set-up. Not only did the restaurant overcharge us, but the taxi drivers also tried to change the price they originally quoted us for the ride. It seemed like a coordinated effort to take advantage of tourists. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Save your time, money, and patience — go elsewhere.

It was our second visit back to Nassau. This trip we came by cruise. We took a taxi to Curly's for the whole snapper and seafood platter. The nassau grouper is enough for me to return yearly. Then we walked down to the beach. We were given free chairs to sit in with a purchase of a drink. O'neill with a taxi service was dropping people off and offered us a ride back. His van had air and he was alot friendlier than the first driver. The first driver didn't talk and charged more. $28 there $20 back. Walking would have been good if we didn't have children. I definitely would recommend a trip to the fish fry. You can even rent jet skis and go on banana boat rides here.

They had nice crisp air inside. The food was mid though. I got a fried lobster tail. The perk wings were not "pan chicken" it was cooked in the kitchen and just sauced. No smoked flavor.

Food was okay. But the fish was filled with bones - making it hard to eat or enjoy. Flavour was great tho! Service was good too - but waited 45 min for our food. So don’t go hungry! We did get to see some turkeys and manatee! That made it an experience!
Katelyn S — Google review
The food was not good at all. Our waiter did not understand the assignment and bought us three different meals. Charged me $2 for a water I never received. Charged us for an extra $18 dinner that was not was ordered. The conch fritters were not good. The Cole slaw and brown rice with red beans in it was good.

My family ate here back in March when we were on a stop from a cruise ship. We walked from the port to this restaurant and while it was long, it was very worth it - to eat here and see some sights along the way! We ate conch fritters and local fish. Nice staff and chill atmosphere!

Twisted Lime is hands down one of the best spots in Nassau! I had an amazing experience from start to finish. First off, the service is top-notch, the staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and truly go above and beyond. I actually forgot my wallet, and instead of making a fuss, they graciously allowed me to step out to the bank and return without any issues. That level of trust and hospitality is rare and truly appreciated! Now, onto the food: I ordered the Conch Dinner, and it was absolutely fantastic. Fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The portion size was generous, and every bite was packed with that authentic Bahamian taste. Pairing it with a cold beer made it even better! They have a great selection, and everything was served ice-cold, just the way it should be. Beyond the food and drinks, the overall atmosphere is unbeatable. The place is spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and has an inviting, lively energy. Whether you’re there to watch a game, grab some food, or just chill with friends, Twisted Lime delivers in every way. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Nassau or looking for a go-to hangout spot. Will definitely be back!

I dined outside and the view along with the atmosphere were great! Our server was nice and the food was delicious! ***mention any allergies that you have as you’re placing your order. I had to send the salmon and veg back because of that but the little piece I did taste was flavorful and delicious. Not over cooked but done right! Because the kitchen was closed I couldn’t put in another order so I munched on the person next to me plate and the food was good! Burger cooked to perfection, fries crispy and nicely salted but not salty. I recommend!

Waited almost one hour for my food placed over the phone. But the worst part was two pizzas… I lived in NY and CA and by far this was my worst pizza yet. I never ate such a bad pizza. I paid more for food than in USA but I’m getting dollar store experience.

We really enjoyed our visits to Twisted Lime ! The place is very cozy and located in a beautiful place in the peaceful marina ! We watched the unforgettable sunsets there . Also turtles , fish , stingrays and even manatee come right to that place and kids had so much fun watching them . Food and drinks are great , well Sized portions . The service is good , not spectacular though. We were there twice and both times my poor daughter was not getting her ordered meal on time . Other than that , everything was good! we would definitely come back to Twisted Lime when we visit Nassau!

My family and I went to the restaurant over the holidays and we all haven't been there in years! The view is still beautiful but nothing beats the view more than some AC waiting for us inside. The service was great! I think his name was Shayan, but I probably butchered that. He was attentive and accommodating. My drink was leaking, he bought be a fresh one, I hated my salad dressing, he changed it without push back. The food was good, but not like omg! Try the creamy conch chowder and wings and waffles, you can pass on the quesdillas. The mango drinks were great as well. Something the could work on are the bathroom conditions. Overall, this restaurant still offers good food and vibes

The food was terrible! The fries were burnt and looked old. The conch burger was hard and tasted awful. When I told them about food the waiter said “we changing the menu.” what does that even mean? My mom ordered honey garlic wings, and my sister ordered fish tacos both of them said their food tasted awful. The service was very bare minimum. No napkins or condiments were brought until requested (after the food was served). When I reminded the waiter that I wanted my drink with my food he said “well someone have to take this.” I guess because he didn’t want to take it back. Extremely disappointing experience!
Petranique B — Google review
My family and I went to celebrate our graduates along with another family recently. The experience in the end went well. It was a busy period and it rained heavily. We originally were placed in outside seating in the back area. This area under rainy conditions would require some reworking in order to be suitable. However, once we were relocated inside, we were able to enjoy the dining experience. The dishes that we ordered were delicious and came out 🔥. We appreciated this. What is most important for me to highlight is the effort the team put into helping make our experience better. Valdez and Monica worked diligently to provide quality service to our group. They navigated each situation well. They made sure we felt comfortable which mattered most. They worked to deliver our meals despite restaurant volumes. We enjoyed the shrimp and chicken tacos, the conch fritters, the guacamole, and more. The shift manager was also pleasant while interacting with me. I was also appreciative for this. Thank you to the team for making sure we received professional and quality service.

The Bahamian Club, located at Atlantis on Paradise Island, is a top restaurant in The Bahamas known for its traditional American steakhouse ambiance with a diverse selection of seafood and global dishes. The club exudes an upscale atmosphere with dark wood furnishings, plush chairs, and rich colors. It offers superb French and international cuisine in a setting reminiscent of the British Colonial era.
Overall really good dining experience, and really good food. I started with the Conch chowder which was spicy and very meaty which I think it a good value. I got the lobster mac and cheese as my main dish and I also had a few bites of the french onion soup and the pear-kale salad. For dessert we got the fruit flambe which was extravagant and really delicious!

Fantastic place for fine dining. Very formal and great space. Nice decor. The staff and servers are the most friendly and professional. They were the best we had during our stay. I ordered the Land and sea. The steak and lobster were both fantastic. Plantains as well. Shrimp cocktail and crab cakes were amazing for appetizers.

Drinks and apps were good however my cut of prime rib was horrible. This cut of meat should have never been served to a customer. Way to much fat and all of the plates had to much au jus. Staff disappeared when a comment was made about it.

The Bohemian Club was a pretty good dining experience at the Atlantis Resort. Their steaks are phenomenal. My steak was cooked perfectly and what is one of the most tender steaks I have ever had. Their desserts are okay, nothing to get overly excited about. I would not recommend their conch chowder as an appetizer. Both my mother and I ordered it and ended up sending it back. It is a little bit spicy, which I don't mind but the taste is very harsh. The creamed spinach is very good, they're so pretty good. The atmosphere is very classy, and the staff was very polite. We ate at the Bohemian club twice during our stay at the resort. Overall I would recommend the bahamians club.
Will M — Google review
The dining experience was a total disappointment. For a place that boasts their quality and service, they under delivered. Their Filet was good, but their Rib eye was the equivalent to a Salisbury Steak. Either their knives are too dull.... or they need to serve better quality steaks than can cut easier. Their “Signature” dish of Prime Rib was the most disappointing. 50% fat, the remaining 50% was so over salted it was difficult to swallow. I have had better prime rib at annual sports banquets! The bill for 2 adults and 1 child was over $340. Proceed with caution, you may also be very disappointed!

If you like stuck up snobby people and you are one of them. It will be perfect for you. Atmosphere is stuffy and uncomfortable. Not a fun jolly crowd and that includes the staff. It was not that they had bad service. Just that it is just to formal for our liking. We prefer more open and friendly restaurants. The food was OK, But surely not worth the cost or uncomfortable atmosphere. We will not go back.

Had an amazing meal here. Ended up having surf and turf which included lamb shank, a filet, and lobster tail. Food was all prepared perfectly and was well seasoned. Little disappointed that the crab cake appetizer only came with 1 crab cake, but the size and taste made up for it. Service was exceptional and went beyond what we expected

I was a curious what kind of Chinese food quality we would get in the Bahamas when in Toronto we have some of the best Chinese food outside Asia. We were pleasantly wowed by the dinner we had last night! We had the conch salad which was very unique. The flavours had the authentic Sichuan peppercorn numbing which was delicious. Such a great take on a local item (conch) and the flavours of Sichuan. The kids wanted the spring rolls. Those were okay but satisfying for the kids. Next we had the spicy red snapper which was done very authentically just like the dishes they make in Chengdu China where this style of dish comes from and we have visited many times. It was the right amount of spice too. This was very well done. Next we had the Peking duck since our kids like them. The chef cutting the duck coincidentally is from Chengdu where my other half is from and he told him how all the staff is from China preparing the food. Lincoln our server was very attentive and great! Prices are very high but to be expected at this type of resort but the food was very well done and delicious so it was a wonderful dinner. UPDATE ON SECOND VISIT A YEAR LATER: unfortunately our second visit wasn’t as stand out as the first. Our friends that had been prior also commented about some things I noticed too. Some of the dishes became too saucy and the Peking duck seemed to be cut a bit thicker than before. Not sure if the kitchen staff turned over but it wasn’t as outstanding as our first visit a year ago.

We stopped in for a try. Food was good. My choice wasn't the best. I tried duck for the first time. The spring rolls were great and a few other choices. If we ever come back to the bahamas I'd give it another go. 😁

Had dinner at Shuang Ba and was served by Kendrick. The service was outstanding. I'm pregnant so I am being careful about what I eat and drink. Our excellent server Kendrick was so creative to find me a drink alternative to what I had originally wanted to accommodate. He really went above and beyond. The food was really good - we got the sweet and sour chicken, beef fried rice and a portion of broccoli. The portions were generous. Highly recommend.

Our favorite restaurant in Nassau by far. The food is delicious. The employees are amazing. The peking duck is amazing and the experience in the private rooms is so perfect for large parties.

We loved this restaurant! The decor is really nice and traditional! Staff were really friendly and helpful (especially Kendrick!). Food was great we got the chilli boiled beef fillet and stir fry tiger prawn. Both dishes were amazing! We also got pork dumplings to start which were really tasty, best dumplings we ever had! We also got a free dessert at the end!

This place was surprisingly good. After going to Café Boulud and being disappointed I was hoping this place would be good. I eat Chinese food in New York City all the time and I can honestly say this Chinese food was pretty damn good. The roast duck was quite superb and I highly recommend it. It was very comparable to New York City. The service was impeccable and it made me forget I was paying $150 a head. Please make a reservation early as this place was pretty popular and for good reason. You won’t be disappointed, I promise.

Kendrick was our sever. He was really good. The duck was good traditionally roasted, however, we found it to be much better wok fried with the additional seasonings. Atmosphere is really good. It's not a super big place, so be ready to be seated closely next to others. I do recommend you try this place out. Secure your reservations as this place is normally booked out.

Sapodilla Estate is home to the renowned fine dining establishment, Sapodilla. The restaurant offers exceptional Bahamian cuisine and top-notch service in a beautiful setting. With floor-to-ceiling windows providing stunning garden views and soothing island-style interiors, diners are treated to a feast for the senses. The chefs at Sapodilla use fresh, locally sourced ingredients to create dishes that showcase the flavors of the Bahamas.
Absolutely wonderful and I highly recommend!! The service is first class and will not disappoint. That said I'd like to give a big shout out to Earl. He made our anniversary dinner experience at Sapodilla feel like dining with close family. He has great attention to detail and is just a wonderful down to earth gentleman. I'd also like to say thank you to the pianist who sang an anniversary song for us. What a truly magical experience to be blessed by her graceful talents. The food is well seasoned and while being on the fine dining side it clearly is rooted in the cultural flavors of the Bahamas. That said I would highly recommend the red snapper and or the pork belly as entrees. Again I highly recommend you visit!

This is a beautiful venue with great service. So you would expect the best of everything. The atmosphere was so nice. A woman played piano while we ate and took suggestions for music. A few of the dishes were made table-side. The Caesar salad was really good. So was the dessert. We had the banana flambe. The menu was limited, and the items we wanted were not available. I believe you can order a car to pick you up and take you back to your hotel, but you should ask. Overall, it was a nice experience. I took a star off due to the limited menu items and small dishes.

Cannot recommend enough. Staff is super super welcoming and sweet. Drinks are great as well as food. Decoration is beautiful. It's a very fancy restaurant but the prices are not that much higher than other restaurants in Bahamas. There's a free shuttle to take you home after.

This place was amazing! The setting is an old home and the moment we walked in, we were treated like family. Our server, "Earl the Pearl" was awesome; so friendly, and make excellent recommendations. The food was excellent. The atmosphere was perfect, not "stuffy" just relaxing. They even serenaded me with "Happy Birthday". There was a pianist playing familiar tunes as well. I felt the prices were very reasonable. They even provided free transportation back to our hotel afterwards. If/when our travel leads us back to Nassau, we would definitely dine here again.

Move on. There is nothing to see here. Service is nil. This place does not train its staff. We have had an event for a large group. Service was very slow. Waiter dropped a whole plate of food on a couple and then the staff had a 10 minute meeting to decide when and how to clean! The steak was VERY overcooked and everything was very salty. They run out of the main dessert, a rum coconut cake, so most of my table got a gelato. Honestly for a corporate event booked months ago??Appetisers offered were below average and were served with no napkins!!Thank god the resort where w’re staying has some world class restaurants. This is a one and done for me.

BEAUTIFUL grounds and restaurant! We were blessed to have Earl as our server who taught us so much about the island while entertaining our appetites. This was our first culinary experience on the island and it will be hard to top this! We had the snapper for dinner and ice cream with garden fruit for dessert and couldn’t recommend more!! Oh and loveddd the piano player!

'Estate' is appropriate for this luxurious place. Their driver picked us up and brought us back to our hotel. Exquisite service and well prepared menu items of local cuisine. The grilled Caribbean lobster was delish. The artwork alone is worth the trip, and the live music makes you want to wait to be seated.
GK — Google review
My husband and I could not get over how amazing the food and service were. And the estate itself is reason enough to eat there. Trevor are waiter who was so much more than that, he whipped up bananas foster right in front of us. The pianist was beautiful as well, dedicated a song to us. Again, what an amazing place! You must try!

The Bearded Clam Sports Bar & Restaurant, located in the heart of the International Arcade between Bay Street and the wharf, is a vibrant dining spot offering a wide array of seafood dishes centered around the queen conch, a renowned marine animal in The Bahamas. From conch balls to conch salad and burgers, this establishment caters to seafood enthusiasts. Additionally, as a sports bar, it's an ideal destination for those who enjoy both sports and drinks.
In Nassau for a cruise port and saw the great reviews and pics of fish tacos so we decided to try it. We had the best food and service! The fish tacos and fried plantains were amazing! Hubby loved the ceviche too. Great music and atmosphere too!
Megs R — Google review
We walked around Nassau for a while searching for the right spot, and The Bearded Clam stood out instantly. The atmosphere pulls you in, super chill, fun, and full of character. The conch fritters were on point, the fish and chips were perfectly crispy, and the fried fish was packed with flavor and had just the right kick of spice. Don’t skip the local beer, it’s ice cold and hits the spot. Pro tip: Bring a sticker or a signed dollar to leave behind, it’s part of the tradition here and adds to the fun vibe. Definitely a must stop if you’re in Nassau!

We stopped in for lunch. The Bearded Clam did not disappoint! Excellent food! It was our first time having Conch fritters. They were great. My wife had the coconut shrimp, the best she's ever had. I had the shrimp tacos which were delicious. Drinks were above average and didn't skimp on alcohol. On a side note there was a visitor (yes this is an open air bar/restaurant) little fella came out to get a drink after it just rained. One of the workers dispatched it quickly. I laughed and thought it was funny, my wife on the other hand wasn't so enthused. All in all it made a memorable visit with some great food! The staff and service were great! Also be sure to ask about the side of bikini wax for $10.

Big Ben waited on our group and did a great job. This place has an upstairs which we used and recommend you do the same as it is a bit more secluded. The food was great and the conch sampler plate was fantastic! If you have never had conch it is akin to fried calamari. If you have not had fried calamari then fix yourself. My wife had grilled snapper and loved it! So I can attest that those two dishes were AWESOME!

We did not eat during our visit here. It is located in a side alley off of Bay St. Servers are very friendly, prompt, and always smiling. Great atmosphere with music always playing. Near the ports in Nassau so there is always a rotation of tourists and locals. Would definitely recommend this place when in Nassau. Update: was here again several days ago and had the jerk chicken breast, rice and peas, and fries. Food is delicious.

The New Duff is a must-visit spot, located about a 30-minute walk from the port. Despite the weather conditions, visitors found it worth the effort. The jerk chicken bun was particularly praised for its well-balanced spice and fresh veggies. The guava duff and banana duff were also highlights, with authentic fruit flavors that weren't overpowered by sweetness. Upon entering, guests were greeted by the delightful aroma of freshly baked bread.
Me and my husband loved this place! Went here on our honeymoon cruise. It’s clean, close to the beach, and very affordable. Miss Sugar was more than happy to give us a little background and history on Duff pastries and breakdown the ingredients of what we were eating. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE FRENCH TOAST! (Caramelized coconut in picture) The drinks were refreshing and on the sweeter side. (Get less sugar than you think)
Nevaeh D — Google review
We came here with my French friends, place was reccommended to us, and they did not disappoint. The nice decorations, the island feel and you can see them preparing the dough out front. Cameron took our order, it was easy and simple, and it was a short wait before we got our food. Everything was good, but the best was the JERK CHICKEN for the meal and the guava duff here is off the chain. You get your money's worth, definitely recommend !
Eric B — Google review
I planned on visiting this place in Nassau and so glad I got to try. Purchased 2 traditional guava puffs and 1 tutti fruitti fruit tea and one mango. The cashier suggested it mildly 50% sweet so that's what I got but I should have gotten nice n sweet to my preferred liking. The guava puff was also freshly made. It is mildly sweet with a nice taste. Overall the total was $~25. I would have liked to try their filled pastries and hope I can next time. I do recommend this place and glad I enjoyed this experience

Great price affordable!! Rarely do I give a five-star, but The New Duff absolutely deserves it. I had the pulled pork, egg, and cheese—seasoned to perfection. Then came the guava duff… OMG. The coconut French toast? Thick, flavorful, and top-tier. Drinks were just as fresh—I went with the guava ginger lemonade and it hit all the right notes. This spot is a gem. Don’t miss it.

Simply a wonderful place! Off the beaten path in Nassau, but well worth the trip. The food is fantastic and so are the people. Had the Guava Duff and it was incredible - fluffy, just the right sweetness, and the sauce was perfect (getting double next time). The buns are delicious, I will remember these for a while. Got the vegetable, jerk chicken, and ginger pork for the first 3 and then had to get the more (the curry mutton, and jerk chicken, ginger pork again). If you're in Nassau and want something other than tourist fare, make the trip here, you'll thank yourself.

The Fried Sugar Banana duff is just divine. I recommend it OVER the famous guava duff. came for the first time with my father for his birthday and we received free birthday shots and warm hospitality. The JERK CHICKEN and CURRY MUTTON stuffed buns (like bao) are so flavorful. I have a hard time picking one over the other. Pictured is the guava duff. we are everything else so fast we didn’t even think to photograph. that’s how you know it’s good.

It is known for serving authentic Cajun-Creole New Orleans dishes with recipes passed down through generations. The menu highlights include the Caribbean Creole bowl featuring Louisiana red beans and rice, andouille sausage, plantains, stir-fried vegetables, and blackened shrimp.
Great Cafe restaurant. The gentleman who served us was very patient and talked us through the menu. We ordered the po' boys on recommendation - one sausage po' boy and one Philly cheese steak. Seasoning and flavour was perfect. Absolutely delicious complimented with sweet potato fries coated with Cajun spices. We also tried an ice tea and ice latte. Both super delicious!!! A nice change after the Meat and rice heavy cuisine here in Nassau. Would definitely visit again.

When meeting the owner her presence spoke through her decor and her beautiful personality. I enjoyed my time here and would highly recommend and encourage people to visit and enjoy some of the best fresh juices and amazing grits. There is more than just food. There are places to relax and sit, pull out your laptop and post a lovely review about your personal experience here. There are clothes, coffee beans, purses, hats, earrings, and some delicious looking hot sauce lines. There is a real New Orleans vibe and home atmosphere. Enjoy the vibe, good music, and beauty that has been absolutely detail oriented from the tiles on the floor to the murals and homage to family members before throughout the walls. Thank you, for creating a space that feels like your home and welcoming an entire island and its visitors to experience.

Magano came highly recommended, and our expectations were pretty high. There’s too much to say, and my opinion doesn’t really matter, so take it for what it’s worth. The food wasn’t good. Except for dessert, which doesn’t count. What I ate, there wasn’t anything I’d ever want to eat again, and that’s really disappointing. We had Red Snapper, Cornish Hen, Ricotta Pasta, and 2 appetizers. Honestly, the best part of the meal was the bread service, olive oil and dessert. The bulk of the meal I don’t care to come back for.

Living in Nassau. Made a reservation for 2 at 6pm. Went in and requested for a corner table where we have been sitting regularly. Answer from the Maître D. The table is reserved. The 3 other corner tables were also empty when I pointed them as option. They're also reserved. I told the gentleman that there is no table mapping to reserve on OpenTable, or on the restaurant website. He knew who we were as we've been coming regularly. The restaurant was empty with only one table being served. We walked out, not to return. I am not spending my money on a place so poorly managed.

Scallops were the star of the dinner. I had the branzino, I found it rather bland and boring. The spinach with raisins and nuts under it were much tastier. Drinks were pretty great, and the staff were incredibly generous. If I had to choose I’d pick Shima every time.

My companions enjoyed their food. The wait time was too long .so by time as I received my food I could barely eat it. The rice was bland, the fish over seasoned but the macaroni was delicious. I think the scent of the area affected my appetite also (I think a sewer is nearby), the scent was awful. The place seems to be under renovation because the furniture is extremely battered. They also need staff, which would help with the long wait periods

Food was awesome, but the prices had apparently been changed and they wasn't changed on the menus. There was no heads up that the prices may be different after ordering. Something went from $14 to being $20 and that's unfair to people that's ordering according to their pockets after reading the menu. The waitress should of made it known that their prices had been changed but they haven't fixed the menus as yet. Like I said the food was really good but that was unfair service

This laid-back, barefoot-style restaurant is famous for its 'Caribterranean' flavors showcased in exclusive cocktails for The Cove. Guests can indulge in delights like Spicy Conch Chili and Grouper Reuben while enjoying stunning views of Paradise Beach.
From the moment I stepped into Sip Sip in Nassau, I felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. Nedra and Manager Wendy went above and beyond to ensure every visit was a delightful experience. Their kindness, attentiveness, and open-minded approach created a warm and inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home. We had a nice little dinner here--it's got a nice view of the marina and was pretty quiet on a week day evening in October. Nedra, our waitress, was very gracious and friendly and we enjoyed the food. The chicken curried salad was good and fresh and the jerk chicken sandwich was excellent--the house made potato chips on the side we're probably the best chips ever. Salty and a bit of malt vinegar that made them perfect.

Food was not what it was hyped up to be. Located in a nice area of atlantis. The quality of the food is not worth the price. Service was also not what it should have been. But waiters in the bahamas are not good because tips are already included in your meal. So they don't care about the service you get.

The lobster quesadilla was AMAZING! So good I had to go back and get it two more times! The drinks are strong and the food/drinks are fairly priced and well worth. Definitely a must have if you are staying at or near Atlantis.
Evie F — Google review
Fun spot in the Marina by the water, pretty friendly. But, food is key and they really missed the mark here. I was super excited for their "specialty" Lobster Quesadilla, and I couldn't have been more disappointed. Luke warm at best, burnt tortilla as you can see but with a SOFT (yes, soft; not crispy) texture, and despite the two cheeses it was very mild in cheese flavor. Last, the lobster itself didn't taste particularly fresh. I wouldn't be surprised if the entire thing didn't come prepackaged and just gets heated up there in a microwave. The pub burger was pretty good, though we ordered medium rare and basically got well done. Still, a decent burger. BOTH dishes overpriced ($25/burger, $32/lobster quesadilla) for quality to be like this. OH and to top if off, we were there right after open. Only 3 other parties were there. 2 of the 3 had issue with their food as well (one felt the walnuts in the overpriced tuna dish were stale; the other had two orders of the same lobster quesadilla and had it cold).

If you find yourself in The Bahamas and have a craving for sushi, look no further than Sushi Rokkan. Nestled on this beautiful island, it stands out as a gem for sushi lovers seeking fresh and flavorful options. While the territory is rich in seafood delights, Sushi Rokkan truly excels in delivering some of the finest sushi around. Guests often rave about their first impressions, noting that both the food and service surpass expectations with prompt delivery of dishes.
We had a wonderful experience at Sushi Rokkan at Nassau’s Lynden Pindling International Airport! Traveling with kids can be challenging, but the staff here went above and beyond to make our family feel welcome. They were so kind and patient with our little ones, offering kid-friendly options and even engaging them with smiles and small talk, which made the meal stress-free. The food was fantastic! The sushi was fresh and beautifully prepared, with vibrant flavors that hit all the right spots. The soup was a standout—warm, comforting, and perfectly seasoned, it was a hit with both adults and kids. We also loved the variety of dishes, from classic rolls to hearty noodle bowls, all made with high-quality ingredients. It was the perfect meal to enjoy before our flight. The atmosphere was cozy yet quick, ideal for an airport setting, and the service was prompt without feeling rushed. If you’re passing through Nassau with family, this spot is a gem for delicious food and a kid-friendly vibe. Highly recommend!

I initially had a disappointing experience when I arrived five minutes late for a 2:30 PM reservation and was turned away by the hostess. I left a negative review expressing my frustration. To their credit, Sushi Rokkan responded quickly and invited me back. When I returned for dinner, the staff went out of their way to make it right—they were kind, welcoming, and even comped our drinks. The food and atmosphere were excellent. Mistakes happen, but what truly matters is how a business responds. I respect Sushi Rokkan’s professionalism and follow-through. Takeout Restaurant
Bamboo Shack has been a beloved staple in Bahamian cuisine since 1990, offering locals and visitors alike a taste of authentic island flavors. Known for its signature "Chicken in da bag," this popular takeout spot serves up mouthwatering chicken thighs and conch, complemented by onions, mayo, and ketchup. With seven locations across the island—especially convenient for those staying in the western region at their West Bay outlet—Bamboo Shack is perfect for satisfying your cravings.
Sorry for the pic but couldn’t wait to eat my conch snack 😀😃😀😂. Just came from the gym and was really hungry and craving a conch snack but didn’t want any fries made the right choice. The conch was really tender, tasted seasoned and the lettuce quite fresh and crunchy. Quite pleased with my dinner tonight.

Can be a wait but food is good! This is a good place for a mid day snack. My favorite is conch snack!
Keva L — Google review
Rating 3 🌟 because service and flavor hasn't been consistent during MY visits. My first visit was absolutely horrible and my date only went there because I wanted to go...there were flies everywhere, no shade at the time, but most importantly the service was horrendous and the food took nearly 2 hours to be brought out. The waitress went to the manager after realizing how long it took for the food to be done and our 2 drinks were comp. Fast forward to December for my 5th experience but 2nd visit.... the food took a while to be received but the servers were attentive and courteous, the drinks were delicious, the ambiance was festive with the entire location completely adorned for the holidays! I had an absolutely spectacular experience.

Crack chicken is very awesome along with the spicy crack conch. The service is always pleasant and the staff is always smiling. The wait might be a while but it's worth it 100%, especially if you love conch or chicken. The spicy crack chicken is tender and melts in your mouth. Still amazing food!

This is the second Bamboo Shack I’ve tried in over 4 years and I’m very impressed it’s so delicious! Each time I’ve had the Conch Snack and the conch is always cooked and seasoned so well. I’d only suggest a little more ketchup on the fries under the conch

My husband love the food here. They have it centry located just in the east, west, north and south in the Bahamas 🇧🇸

Italian restaurant
Ristorante Luciano's of Chicago in Nassau, Bahamas offers a delightful dining experience. Housed in a former mansion, the restaurant exudes elegance with its marble and mahogany foyer and atmospheric lighting that complements the warm colors and captivating harbor views. The menu features traditional Italian dishes alongside unique Bahamas-inspired options like conch cakes with rosa aioli.
Excellent dining experience! We shared the grilled octopus and caprese salad and I had the stuffed portobello as my dinner. The pasta was fresh and tomato sauce had a nice flavor as if a hint of clove or cinnamon.
Socially 2 — Google review
My dining experience at Luciano's was nothing short of spectacular! The restaurant is located on East Bay Street just pass the busy area of Downtown Nassau. I love the rustic aged look of the architecture and furniture. I think it's quite fitting since the restaurant is the former home of The Bahamas' first Premier. The lighting and the music adds to the welcoming and warm atmosphere. The service is professional and quite friendly. Not to be outdone by any other attribute, is the delicious food offered at Luciano's. In my last visit I tried the Blackened Snapper and I was absolutely pleased. This was the first time I visited the restaurant in a long time but I would definitely be back. The staff made sure I felt special on my birthday and that was truly invaluable.

The salad and soup was really good. The main course of salmon and beef was not the best. The desert was alright. But the location is very beautiful, centrally located with parking

Delicious food (even for vegan). excellent service. great ambiance despite the creepy looking guy that was sitting at the front entrance staring at the ladies in our group. edited 4/22/2018: Having brunch with the family right now ... different experience than the first time. 1. Don't drink the house water 2. Had to order almost everything twice because they forgot to bring what was ordered the first time. 3. Servers were polite but a bit rough around the edges. 4. Food was ok to good but not great. 5. Bread pudding was delicious. Expected more for a "fine dining" experience.
Devon L — Google review
Beautiful seating along the marina especially during sunset. They had some really good bread to start and we also had the cauliflower appetizer. For my entree I had the shrimp pasta dish in a white wine sauce, and my partner had the fettuccine Alfredo - both were pretty good. We also shared a bottle of the Italian white wine which was also good.
Daniel M — Google review
We typically do not Italian, but decided to try this place based on the views that everyone told us about. We were thoroughly impressed by the lightness of their italian cuisine; for some reason their food tasted considerably better than what we would experience back home. The service was amazing, right from the time walked in to the time we left. Thank you for a highly memorable experience!

For a large crowd of over 100, the food not only came out on time, but was very well prepared and delicious! The main course was grouper and prime rib.

Cake shop
Nestled in the heart of Nassau, the Bahamas Rum Cake Factory is a must-visit for anyone with a penchant for sweets and a curiosity about local culture. This delightful spot not only overlooks the stunning Paradise Island but also showcases the rich culinary traditions of the Bahamas. Here, you can observe skilled artisans as they craft their famous Bahamian Bundt rum cakes, using locally sourced ingredients and an age-old slow-baking technique that enhances each cake's unique flavors.
Decided to stop when taking a taxi from down town to the Atlantis. The workers were awesome, so friendly and great service. Because we bought 4 rum cakes, we got a free shot of rum, right outside of the shop. Cakes are so fresh we saw the ladies making right there in the kitchen. These are some strong cakes you can taste the rum. Hopefully, they will go good with coffee. There are so many flavors you will have a blast. I can't wait to try them when I get home.
Lana R — Google review
The Bahamas Rum Cake Factory is a must-visit for rum cake lovers! Even though it was crowded, the staff was incredibly efficient, keeping everything moving smoothly. The best part is they offer free samples, so you can try before you buy! The cakes are incredibly moist and packed with a deliciously boozy kick. We picked up a variety of flavors such as banana, mocha coffee, Irish cream, amaretto, and pineapple. Each one had its own unique, rich flavor, making it hard to choose a favorite. Whether you're a fan of classic or bold flavors, there's something for everyone. It's definitely worth the stop!
Maggie L — Google review
About 20 min walk from my hotel. Cakes were awesome! Got a six pack to take home to family. Service was great! I would go here again if I were to return to Nassau.... oh yeah you get a free shot of rum next door with purchase!

I got a free rum shot. Got free cake! The cake is so good and definitely worth it! The cost is super cheap for great cake. This is a great gift for any of your friends back home!
Joe V — Google review
We had a tour guide named Derek that took us around the city and he took us to the rum cake factory to try samples and I just have to say it is the best rum cake. I went through another store and tried another brand of rum cake and let me just say. This brand is the best. The other one does not hold a candle to these cakes. Highly recommend going straight to the factory and buying your rum cakes there. They are definitely worth it. I bought the Pina colada flavor because that was my favorite of the ones I tried
Cassaundra K — Google review
We have had the Bahamas Rum cakes before and loved them. So this time when I visited Nassau, I walked from the cruise terminal to the Rum cake factory and purchased 4 small size cakes (purchasing 4 gets you a good price). They have the cakes for tasting as well. I really like that the cakes can stay out at room temperature for about a year and not go bad.
Neha V — Google review
A whole single mini rum cake has added sugar totaling 128% of your daily intake (while a single serving or half the cake = 64%). No wonder I got a headache…. Hope this place can cut down the sugar! It’s too sweet. I needed to eat mine with black tea or coffee at home. The walk there from the port didn’t feel entirely safe, but it was doable: more than 20 minutes for me.
Ann — Google review
I got off a cruise and decided to go try this place. The security guards were trying to stop me to walking there. They said it's too far, but it's about a 15-minute walk from the cruise. Glad that I went very welcoming staff. Very friendly service. I got there just in time as while I was there another tour stopped and the shop filled up quick. I took the six pack and looking forward to trying the cakes. Try to see who has the best rum cake in the Bahamas. Thank you for the service. Keep up the good work

Oasis Bar and Bistro in Palmdale is a great spot for lunch, offering Bahamian dishes like seafood dip with conch, lobster, and shrimp. They also excel at serving rack of lamb with just the right amount of scorch, complemented by a garlic reduction and homemade mint jelly. The restaurant provides attentive service and delicious food, making it perfect for birthday brunches or date nights.
Ambience was great. Nice to see what they've done with the place as I recall dining at Lucianos. Went for a outing for our work team. Food was good. We had wings and seafood spinach dip for appetizers. Our crew for the main course had lamb, steak, salmon and risotto. Only knock was the flies, and they came in heavy! Our server assisted with bringing some candles but they didn't do much for the flies. We even asked another server for some more candles to thwart the flies but that was unsuccessful as well. We sat under the large cabana, beautiful view. Our server was very nice, but she had lots of tables to cover on that shift as well. All in all a good experience hopefully there can be something done for the flies, if it wasn't an isolated incident.
D M — Google review
While on vacation, my husband and I decided to step out of our comfort zone and try something new since we typically dine at Fish Fry. Unfortunately, this experience left much to be desired. We started with the spinach dip, which was honestly the only highlight of the meal creamy, flavorful, and well prepared. For that reason, they’re getting 1 stars. However, the main courses were a major letdown. I ordered the lobster hamburger, and my husband had the cheeseburger with egg. Both were incredibly disappointing. The burgers were made with frozen hamburger patties, not fresh ground beef, which was a huge letdown given how nasty they were. If you’re familiar with frozen hamburger patties in the U.S., they tasted eerily similar to the “Big Boy” brand from the early 2000s. The meat was more like imitation beef with a distinguished taste, not what we expected from a restaurant. To make matters worse, while dining outdoors, a rat ran across the restaurant. If you do opt to eat here, I strongly recommend sitting indoors if you’re still willing to give it a chance. Also, the table and cups were not clean. Overall, the burgers were nasty, and while the spinach dip was enjoyable, we wouldn’t return for another meal based on this experience.
Alicia H — Google review
I went there for a few appetizers and honestly I was not satisfied with anything I had. First of all everything was so cold and it was not a busy shift. The calamari was cold and flavorless… it literally felt like I was eating cold fried flour, the dumplings were cold, extremely hard and not satisfying, I did not enjoy the spring rolls, they were not flacky as I thought they would have been, they were cold and also no flavor. And to top it off, I ordered a mocktail because I don’t drink alcohol and the waitress charged me $21.25(including VAT & grats) I ask her to confirm the price and she said yes that’s what it is… the mocktail literally cost more than some of my appetizers. What was most upsetting is it did not taste good. I didn’t send the mocktail back because I don’t like to upset people who’s touching my drinks 😅 but it was watery with a hint of mint flavor. Overall, I’m not going back there.
KMarie — Google review
Food was good, presentation was lovely. The wings were flavorful and crispy, very delicious, however, the fries were very small, portion was small (and I love fries) and flavorless. I had the snapper fillet sandwich, a little bland but it was thick, worth the money. The spinach dip was sooooooo yummy, I highly recommend. They didnt serve the appetizers first then the entrees, so expect to eat everything at once. Not sure if it was because it was late in the afternoon but the server (Tina, I think) was not pleasant, she was very ‘matter of fact’ and did not crack one smile, several of us at the table work in service and agreed that she was a tad abrasive. We were celebrating a gender reveal and decided that it wasn't worth the drama to ask for a Manager. Overall, we enjoyed our time at Oasis.

Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. I celebrated my birthday dinner at Oasis Bar and Bistro, and it truly exceeded all expectations. The ambiance struck the perfect balance of soft, luxe elegance and welcoming and sophisticated without being over the top. The staff were incredibly accommodating, attentive without being intrusive, and made the evening feel extra special. And the food? Absolutely delicious. Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. My main course was the lobster in cream lemon garlic sauce with ruffle Mac & cheese and asparagus. It was to dieeee for! Highly recommend for a special occasion or any time you want to treat yourself.

When on a solo date. Food 9/10 but it’s no way big a Sunday the WiFi is down. But to the sever Gia thanks for keeping my company every sec she can, and checking up on me every few minutes. Her service was 100/10 because I was ready to pick up and leave!

Took our son there after graduation. We were welcomed and seated right away. The restaurant was nice and cool and the waitress came over quickly and took our orders. She was very pleasant! The seafood spinach dip and Crab cakes were delicious starters. The snapper was a decent size and seasoned well and the coconut milk in the Peas n rice was a nice touch. The Jasmine rice had a bit too much oil/butter that settled at the bottom. Salmon was seasoned well and not too dry, truffle mac was good. Everything came quickly and the food was hot and fresh. The lemonades were pretty good as well! Would recommend to anyone and will definitely visit again!

First timer here, and I had already heard mixed reviews, but this was the chosen spot for a girls night out so I went with it. I'm so glad I did! I'm a super foodie and can cook so I was ready to judge this food. But first off, the server, Brittany seated us and right off the bat, she was hospitable and very knowledgeable about the menu. I loved her energy and friendly nature. She recommended drinks and entrées we should try and everything was a hit with the whole table. I got the desert sky mix drink as I requested something strong and sweet and it was right on target. But that was getting to me so I couldn't wait to get that food. Didn't take too long for the appetizer to come out as we were waiting on another friend to arrive. I tried the spinach dip and it hit the spot: creamy and hot! Now the chips, I love a good tortilla, but it was more like a fried pita which was a good 2nd option. For an entrée I felt like having the fish burger..and when I tell you I'm so happy with that choice! It was nicely seasoned thick pieces of battered snapper with added bacon. It was Juicy and so good! Then I tried a friend's crab cake and immediately ordered that too... because it was going home with me! The atmosphere was low lights and good vibes all around. Inside is a bit small so I had to be real quiet with talking, but I still felt privacy in my circle. The wooden chairs are a bit uncomfortable so maybe they could consider a cushioned option in the future. The parking is easy on a weekend given businesses around are closed. I'll Def be back! Thanks Brittany 😊

Yellowbell Bahamas is a poolside restaurant in Nassau, owned by the team behind Bon Vivants. Known for its outstanding brunch experience, it offers fantastic drinks and delicious food with top-notch service. The beautiful grounds and lovely staff add to the positive experience. Despite being at the other end of the island, it's worth visiting as it's reasonably priced compared to downtown options. With plenty of seating options, good drinks, and a fun menu, Yellowbell provides an enjoyable atmosphere.
What a place ! I visited on a rainy afternoon and chose to sat outside and it was so peaceful. The drinks are phenomenal and the menu is exceptional. The property speaks class and is well maintained! We decided to grab a few cocktails before our dinner reservation upstairs at Shima. Highly recommend the place for a change of scenery if you want a few hours away from the beach

Although I typically frequent this place for the drinks and happy hour, I was pleasantly surprised by the outstanding experience during my brunch visit. I love this place so much. The bartenders are always so welcoming, the atmosphere is so chill and the drinks are to die for. My favorite drink is the long tall sally and I love to pair it with the beef tacos (they never miss). If you visit YB once you’ll always want to go back. It’s amazing!

Great atmosphere; wished that there were obvious signs to direct you to different areas like the restaurants but also appreciated the staff pointing you in the right directions. The team were accommodating but prepare for outdoor seating so bring a fan and dress cool. Lovely place and hoping to visit again

We didn't have a reservation so seating was an issue (which was understandable). Once we were seated the wait time to get our food was very long and my food was brought out cold. I didn't complain but I was extremely frustrated. I asked the person who brought out the food if they could bring out another syrup and the person never came back (They brought out one small tin of syrup for one person even though there was 2 people eating pancakes). This was a very disappointing experience and won't be coming back again.

At Da' Poke Bowl, you can indulge in a delightful rice bowl topped with your choice of fresh raw fish or tender cooked chicken. If you're looking to beat the heat, don't miss out on their refreshing Hawaiian shaved ice. While the prices may be on the higher side, the quality and flavor make it a worthwhile experience. Many guests rave about their salmon poke, which is served with warm sushi rice—a unique twist that sets it apart from typical cold sushi offerings.
Fresh and delicious, this dish is on the expensive side, but considering where you are, it’s worth it. we had the salmonpoke. In a lot of places people are probably used to cold sushi rice. This was served with warm sushi. Rice delicious all the same.
