Centennial Hall is a grand circular hall located in Wroclaw, Poland, surrounded by formal gardens. It serves as a venue for major exhibitions, cultural events, and sporting activities. The hall's revolutionary design has earned it the status of a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
This UNESCO site is so cool. It's got a long history, neatly laid out in the visitor's center. I enjoyed the VR experience as well. Walking around the site itself is surreal. Such a massive venue that was built so long ago. It also happens to be the filming location for the 2023 Hunger Games movie, which made it even cooler to visit.

This was a stop of the Best City Tours, 2 hour tour of Wroclaw. Didn’t have a chance to go inside but learned that is a UNESCO world heritage site for this Edwardian building which has the largest domed cement roof that was built at the time. I enjoyed the quick walk along the pergola to see the fountains. I was surpassed to see the Soviet monument out front.
Cindy L — Google review
Beautiful Venue, But Poor Experience at the Concert The building itself is truly impressive—spacious, elegant, and well-designed for large events. Unfortunately, the experience during the concert left a lot to be desired. Despite the venue not being overly crowded, it was extremely hot and stuffy inside. The ventilation was clearly inadequate, and at times it was hard to even breathe comfortably. This really took away from the enjoyment of the event. To make matters worse, the sound settings were completely off for the first two songs—distorted and poorly balanced, which was disappointing, especially at the start of the show. On top of that, there wasn’t a single bottle of still water available for purchase, which is unacceptable in such conditions. While the venue itself has a lot of potential, the lack of basic comfort and organization during the event was a huge letdown.
Georgia P — Google review
Centennial Hall is huge and really impressive. The architecture is wild modern but historic at the same time. The surrounding area is cool too, with open spaces and spots to chill or take photos. If you’re around Wrocław, it’s definitely worth a stop, even just to walk around outside.
Cameron — Google review
We visited centennial hall for a concert. The architecture and gardens were beautiful but the ventilation and lack of facilities let it down. The band also mentioned that the sound quality was unique (not in a positive way, asking if we could hear them ok). The seats are wooden and can be quite uncomfortable after a period of time. They are also quite close together so not ideal if you are tall. Drinks could be purchased but they were expensive and not refrigerated. I’d recommend buying a drink from the vendors outside and bringing it in. Signage for sitting vs standing wasn’t clear. The seating entrance is nearer to the zoo side.
Kathleen A — Google review
Centennial Hall is a beautiful place and definitely worth a visit. The architecture and surroundings are impressive, and it’s especially lovely during the summer. It’s a bit disappointing, though, that the Japanese Garden next to it requires a separate fee, because it looks like it could perfectly complement the visit. Still, overall, it’s a great spot to explore and enjoy, and I’d recommend it.
Jey — Google review
Centennial Hall in Wrocław is a very interesting place to visit. The building is large and modern-looking, and it is often used for concerts, sports events, and exhibitions. I liked its unique design and the atmosphere inside. It is a place worth seeing if you are in the city.

Island
Ostrów Tumski in Wrocław is a historically and architecturally significant site, featuring remnants of early habitation, including a wooden church. Situated on the Oder River, it is the oldest part of the town and the center of religious life with numerous churches and chapels. Notable buildings include Hala Ludowa 'People's Hall,' an extraordinary example of European architecture's early fascination with reinforced concrete.
This is probably the most picturesque place to visit in Wroclaw. 📷 The architecture and skyline were amazing. Small bridges connecting these islands make it more attractive.
Rahul — Google review
A must-visit spot full of history, charm, and peaceful beauty. Walking through its cobbled streets surrounded by stunning Gothic architecture feels like stepping back in time. The cathedral is breathtaking, and the whole area offers a perfect mix of culture and calm. A true highlight of the city
Olga K — Google review
Undoubtedly, Cathedral Island (Ostrów Tumski) is the heart and spiritual soul of Wroclaw. Hidtirically, the current Gothic cathedral is the fifth iteration, built in the 13th–14th century that makes it the first  Gothic church in Poland. It has twin towers and the interior has breath taking instructure. blends Gothic structure with Baroque and Renaissance details added over centuries. Based on historical documents, the cathedral was heavily damaged in WWII when German forces used it as an ammunition depot. However,  its post-war reconstruction is the proof and testament of the huge work that has been done to keep it in such a stunning and amazing piece of art in Wrocław. I hope you have the chance to visit such a wonderful historical place that will dazzle your brain with knowledge and the pride of your country.
DrMido B — Google review
Very nice view at night and worth to take a walk along the promenade. Just opposite of the Hala Tagorwa. Cross the bridge and around 7 mins walk.
Nomad A — Google review
Probably the most interesting part of Wroclaw if you look for less touristy places. It is the oldest part of the town located withing walking distance from the main square. Great to wander around and to spot the lamplighter at dusk. He lights all 90 gas lamps every single days! Worth the wait....
Piotrek P — Google review
Great place for viewing point of the city. Loses a star because the elevator guy took long time and was a bit creepy
Brehnen S — Google review
A fantastic place to visit , great architecture, wonderful churches that must a visit. Climb up in the Gothic Church for a wonderful panoramic view of the island and of the Old City. A couple of steps and an elevator will take you up. A must seen if you are in Wrocław. By the way it’s an easy 10 min. walk from the Old Town of Wrocław
Robert R — Google review
One of my absolutely favourite places in Wroclaw!! Definitely a MUST SEE! Plus cause of it’s very central location incredibly easy to reach! It’s the oldest part of the city of Wroclaw. It was formerly an island between branches of the Oder River. Archaeological excavations have shown that the western part of Ostrov Tumski, between the Church of St. Martin and the Holy Cross, was the first area to be inhabited. The first, wooden church (St. Martin), dating from the 10th century, was surrounded by defensive walls built on the banks of the river. The island had approximately 1,500 inhabitants at that time. The first constructions on Ostrov Tumski were built in the 10th century by the Piast dynasty, and were made from wood. The first building from solid material was St. Martin's chapel, built probably at the beginning of the eleventh century by Benedictine monks. Not long after the first cathedral was raised, in place of the small church. Religious buildings appeared in Ostrov Tumski because during the Congress of Gniezno in AD 1000, it was decided to create a bishopric in Wrocław.

Hydropolis is an innovative museum housed in a converted subterranean tank, offering an interactive and educational experience focused on water and the environment. The museum features eight thematic sections, including a 360-degree film showcasing the journey of water from the Big Bang to Earth's formation. Visitors can explore various exhibits such as observing microorganisms in a drop of water, interacting with replicas like the Trieste bathyscaphe, and relaxing in a space with sea sounds and bioluminescent jellyfish.
Amazing day out and is surpsingly big. Loved the water features when entering and then lots of information in Polish and in English. Everything was done new so modern technology mixed with historical facts and lots of interactive peices to keep you entertained

A great museum with an abundance of information about everything water from the its very chemical makeup to how we have used it sense the dawn of man. It has something for everyone and all ages. We got there as soon as it opened and it got busy quick. We spent a couple hours there and didn't exactly hustle through, but we also read about 1/4 of what they had. You could easily spend an entire day there if you wanted to read everything.

Was fun, the app helped me navigate around easily as an English speaker. Worth the £, 90zł (£18.44) for 2 tickets. Nice gift shop and nice cafe at the end too. Very interactive and the relaxation room was a really nice mid way through.

we had a great time there and our children. there is a lot of information about water to read mostly so for small children you have to explain a little. value for money, we were in the morning so it was quiet and we could look at everything in peace. recommends

Amazing place! It breaths with a modern, high-tech atmosphere, yet it keeps it's educational purpose.

After my visit to Hydropolis Museum Wroclaw, I was truly very impressed with the rich history for the only science centre in Poland dedicated to water. Based on what I read about this amazing museum, I was surprised to know that in the 19th Century, this building originally served as a clean water reservoir as part of Wrocław’s waterworks system. -Until the year 2011, the facility continued functioning as part of the municipal water supply system. In 2015, this building was transformed into Hydropolis Museum dedicated entirely to water. If you wonder like me, what makes it so Unique Not Only in Poland but worldwide. Here are some features that will dazzle your brain with new knowledge. This museum is actually an underground reservoir about 4,600 m². It exhibits nine thematic zones exploring water from cosmic origins to modern urban systems. This is truly amazing historical place you must visit and enjoy the history of your country. I highly recommend it. You will be glad you did. I have to thank the dedication and hard work of all the museum staff for the job well done👍♥️.

Established in 1702, the University of Wrocław is a prestigious institution that has produced 9 Nobel Prize winners in the 20th century. The main university building is part of a grand Baroque-style complex that includes a former Jesuit college and church. Visitors can explore the Wroclaw University Museum and the magnificent Leopoldinum Hall, as well as enjoy concerts at the historic Oratorium Marianum music hall.
Fascinating place, amazing building inside and out. Don't miss the higher rooms with the wall and ceiling frescos from Renaissance (or some would say, Tartarian Empire) and the viewing tower at the top. Those Jesuits knew how to make an impression, even if they are the ones responsible for a world of lies. 😉

This museum/university is a must-visit in Wroclaw! To explore the halls and the building, you need a ticket. I highly recommend seeing them all. Everything is stunning and breathtaking. You’ll also have the chance to go to the top of the building and enjoy a panoramic view of the city. It’s definitely worth a visit!

Wrocław University is really worth a visit. We bought a ticket and got to explore the museum inside, which was pretty interesting. Then we climbed to the top for the city view totally worth it, the view from up there is amazing!

Beautiful building with access to the roof for a panoramic view of the town. Buy a full ticket on site and visit the university museum for an architectural experience and a small collection on history of sciences.
Nontas P — Google review
Honestly the best thing I’ve done in Wroclaw. It was one of the most beautiful places I visited in Poland. It has a very specific charm and feel to it. I recommend visiting everything, it was also cheap 22PLN for all 4 rooms for students. Definitely worth every penny.
Toni K — Google review
The charm of the University of Wrocław precedes itself. More than my almamater, the university is one of the finest buildings you'll see in Wrocław or even Poland. Don't miss to check out the university museum when it's open to visitors and the lookout tower of the main building. The city looks breathtaking from there! 😍
Amit C — Google review
Just prestige – and nothing more. The university may boast a grand history and a beautiful historic main building, but its faculties are scattered all over Wrocław. Students are constantly running across the city from one department to another. In the end, it’s all just a facade — like the fencer in the fountain near the main building: no sword, no clothes. After your studies here, you’ll be left with nothing. Better to choose another university.

Racławice Panorama is a must-see attraction in Wroclaw, Poland. This circular building houses a 360-degree painting depicting the 1794 battle, along with maps and videos providing historical context. The city of Wroclaw offers numerous other attractions such as Ostrow Tumski, Cathedral Island, adorable gnome statues scattered around the city, and the impressive Centennial Hall.
IT WAS GORGEOUS, it will probably be one of the best things you'll see in your entire life. There's a new "performance" every 30 minutes, but I suggest you buy your ticket in advance to avoid waiting outside for too long. 🎟️ The price is worth it but it's so beautiful that 30 minutes are way too short to admire it to its fullest. There are also free audio-guides in many different languages that explain the history of the painting and describe it; but PERSONALLY I'd have preferred it without it (because it gave a bit of confusion because I focused on what the voice was saying instead of the actual painting).
Anna H — Google review
It was Amazing! If you are in Wroclaw it's a must see. My husband loved it. The panoramic painting is huge and it's designed this way for you to imagine to be in the middle of the battle. The session is 30 minutes long and the narrative is in Polish however if you need a translation please ask once you are inside. It's a beautiful beautiful piece of art. You won't regret it. It's about Polish uprising and Kosciuszko.
Anna S — Google review
I have to admit my boyfriend suggested this as a destination to go and see and I kind of thought no at the time but after going I genuinely think it was fantastic. It’s very cheap which is a bonus obviously. But you go In we bought a ticket before and you go up as a group you see the paining and they have translator devices so we chose English which if you have earphones is great and if you don’t you have to just hold the thing up to your ear. You hear all about the painting and they talk you through different sections as you walk around. It is genuinely impressive how they integrate the 360 art work with some scenery and props and lighting they’ve added to give you the immersed experience. All in all only took about 30 mins from getting there to leaving if that but it was fantastic and well worth a visit. As an aside, going during school hours will probably mean it’s full of class trips, so plan the journey that suits you. Although they sat at the side and didn’t get in the way on our trip.
Alice L — Google review
A great and worthy visit in Wrocław, the painting was amazing and very impressive to see. The only thing I’d suggest with the audio guide is that it has headphones, as it was very difficult to listen to the audio guide without headphones. The entry ticket also gives you entry to 3 other museums, and I suggest you book in advance as when we first went the showing was sold out until a few hours later.
Bella L — Google review
Interesting experience-a unique panoramic painting, combined with props, makes for an impressive visualization of a battle. It is worth spending the time. The tour is guided in multiple languages. Remember to book at least 2 hours ahead of time.
Bartek K — Google review
The Racławice Panorama is a monumental work commemorating the Battle of Racławice in 1794. A team of painters led by Jan Stka and Wojciech Kossak exhibited it in Lviv in 1894, on the centenary of the battle. The exhibition took place in a rotunda built especially for this purpose. During the tour, you'll first see a small panorama with a brief historical overview. Then, you'll enter the center of the redoubt, where you'll walk around and admire this work. I highly recommend it :)
Robert O — Google review
Very unique experience. To me, that was the most interesting piece of art I have experiences. I enjoyed the fascinating history and stories behind the art. One thing that would make it even better would be if they could provide headphones for the translation device so you don't have to hold it to your ear the whole time
Billy S — Google review
Very important visitor attraction, capturing the spirit of Poland. This is a 360 degree painting depicting a famous Polish victory against Russian occupants. The painting comes to life due to the positioning of the building and associated scenery. There are free audio guides. Best to book a time slot. You only have a 30 minute viewing window due to its popularity but I would highly recommend adding this attraction to any Wroclaw visit.

The National Museum in Wrocław is housed in a magnificent 19th-century building and is considered one of the most significant art museums in Poland. It comprises four branches, including the Main Building, 'Panorama Raclawicka' Museum, Ethnographic Museum, and the Museum of Contemporary Art in the Four Domes Pavilion.
A really great discovery. Not enormous or big but lots of paintings and other objects related to polish art. If not for the compound ticket for the Panorama, I would not have visited it to my detriment. Go there and enjoy it after going yo the Panorama.

A wonderful museum featuring all things Poland. From permanent exhibitions of art, religion and history to modern temporary exhibitions on fashion in the 1970s. Definitely worth a visit. Your entrance to the permanent exhibits is free if you have visited the Panorama Museum in the past 3 months (if a ticket is saved and shown). There is also a free cloakroom to store anything while you look around.

Great museum in historic building. Wonderful exhibition of Polish and European wood and stone carvings and paintings. Worth visiting for anyone interested in art, old weapons and some glassware. You get in for free once you buy a ticket for Panorama Raclawicka

Absolutely worth to visit. Temporary collection of Rubens art but also a permanent collection of European art, Salesian art, Panorama Raclawicka creation process and glass and clothing collections. Everything for everyone. I was mesmerised by the broad collection of European paintings. Honestly recommend to visit National Museum in Wroclaw
Monika M — Google review
A must-visit for art and history enthusiasts. Located at pl. Powstańców Warszawy 5, this museum boasts an extensive collection of Polish and European art, spanning from the Middle Ages to contemporary times. Highlights include medieval Silesian sculptures, Renaissance and Baroque paintings, and modern works by artists like Tadeusz Makowski and Magdalena Abakanowicz. The museum’s building, an architectural gem from the late 19th century, is adorned with ivy that changes color with the seasons, adding to its charm. Inside, the exhibitions are well-organized, making it easy to navigate through the diverse collections. Visitors should note that while the museum offers a rich cultural experience, some information may not be available in English, which could be a consideration for non-Polish speakers. Additionally, certain sections might benefit from updated presentation techniques to engage younger audiences better. At least they are very handicap friendly with access for wheelchairs, and braille and other installations for the blind. The museum is open daily from 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM. Admission is free on Saturdays, providing an excellent opportunity for budget-conscious travelers to explore the permanent exhibitions. You are encouraged to check in your coat and bags at the locker area near the entrance. Overall, the National Museum in Wrocław offers a comprehensive look into Poland’s artistic heritage and is a worthwhile stop for anyone interested in art and history.

It’s full of amazing treasures, like a stunning Egyptian funeral mask from 30 BC hidden on the first floor—definitely worth discovering!

Lots to see, many exhibits like paintings, wooden carvings, and metal work. It was cool during the summer. There is no crowd at all on the weekday afternoon. Elevators to go up 3 floors. Cafe for rest and drinks. Many of the exhibits are not behind glass barriers, so you can see close up of actual exhibit. They have coffins, too. Probably take 2 hours to see everything. Easy to navigate as you follow one direction.

This building is one of the most beautiful in Wrocław. It’s right in the main square and full of history. The Gothic design is amazing, and it looks even better at night when it’s lit up. A great place to visit if you’re in the Old Town.

The Old Town Hall in Wrocław is a true walk through history. Built between the 13th and 16th century, its stunning Gothic architecture, clock tower, and ornate details make it one of the city’s most iconic landmarks. A must-see for anyone exploring Wrocław!

Step into a storybook in Wrocław's breathtaking Old Town! The colorful merchant houses surrounding the massive Market Square (one of Europe's largest) create a postcard-perfect scene. Don't miss: • The stunning Gothic **Town Hall** with its astronomical clock • Charming **gnome statues** hiding everywhere • Cozy cafés in pastel-colored townhouses • Sunset views from **St. Elizabeth's Church tower** The area stays lively day and night with street performers, seasonal markets, and boat tours along the canals. Cobblestone streets lead to hidden courtyards and quirky museums.

Wrocław Multimedia Fountain, the largest fountain in Poland and one of the biggest in Europe, is a captivating attraction located in Szczytnicki Park near the Centennial Hall. With 800 lights and 300 water jets, this majestic fountain offers enchanting choreographed shows set to classical and modern pop music. Visitors can enjoy these magical displays every hour during its operational months from April to October.
Great show. Definitely even better in the dark. The show started at 9:00 PM. I think the show is at regular intervals. It's worth going to see. There are small fountains next to it where the kids ran. Beautiful area and a nice big park.
Anu K — Google review
I absolutely loved this fountain. We went in the slightly damp and very cold weather which I wouldn’t recommend but the fountain itself I loved. The lights on the fountain in the dark was amazing. The music wasn’t very loud sadly but loud enough to hear and it was quiet when we went which was nice for us. I would give fair warning they play for about 15 mins on the hour each hour so we showed up with about 40 mins to wait and had to run around to stay warm so maybe be wiser then us.

Great place to spend the evening in the garden and walk around the fountain. Great performance and show. Bring your camping chairs or a blanket.

I love the big fountain. I was there during the day, it plays music and gives kinda like a show. I guess it’s more beautiful when it’s dark. The place is beautiful with cute flowers and surrounded by a lot of green
Channa M — Google review
Shows every hour. Music wasn't loud enough, so it isn't what I was expecting, however, for a free show, it was good. Plenty of space to watch the show, you can seat on the grass or in a chair by the bistro. It's a perfect place to come with friends of family. Next to my table, this guy proposed to his girlfriend, soooo romantic!
Paul C — Google review
I agree with many of the comments: great for being a free show, better at night than during the day, and the music is wonderfully curated.
Gib — Google review
A unique experience where the fountains sync with the music playing - some songs pair better than others, but it’s always entertaining. Shows run several times a day, each about 20 minutes, and best of all, it’s free. Daytime performances are nice, but it truly comes alive after sunset. Definitely worth a visit if you’re nearby.
Stefan B — Google review
This is one of the places which is surprising in a positivr way. Every hour you can enjoy an entertainment with music and water play having amug of coffee in front of the fountain. Also the place around it is pretty cool place to.spwnd some leisure time together.

Church
Located in the Old Town of Wroclaw, the Cathedral of St. Mary Magdalene is a striking architectural marvel dating back to the 14th century. Constructed primarily with brick, this cathedral boasts an intricately adorned portal on its southern wall, which was salvaged from a Benedictine abbey in Olbin and integrated into the structure in 1546.
A fascinating cathedral, which is high 45 metres. The entrance fee is around €4.50. There is no elevator, only stairs, but walkable is 6-7 minutes to the top.
Lyuboslav G — Google review
The Legend of Penities Bridge. ⛪️ The Cathedral of St. Mary Magdalene owes its current shape to the fourteenth-century reconstruction in the spirit of "Wrocław Gothic". In 1481, the slender, high towers, covered with pointed, so-called spire-shaped domes, were completed. At the height of the fifth floor, they were connected by a characteristic bridge. The townspeople began to circulate stories about strange sounds coming from above. Apparently, late passers-by heard groans and the rustle of brooms sweeping the floor at night. Mothers began to scare their wayward daughters, who were not eager to get married, with girls doing penance on the bridge, who preferred fun and the carefree life of a maiden to the duties of a wife and housewife. They died without ever experiencing marriage and as a punishment they will clean the bridge between the towers for eternity. We can find a similar motif in Part II of Mickiewicz's "Dziady". Among the ghosts summoned by Guślarz there appears the specter of a girl who liked to seduce and make boys fall in love with her, but she did not give her hand to any of them. As a punishment, she could not find peace after death, wandering the earth as a soul doing penance. The bridge connecting the towers was destroyed at the end of the war. It was rebuilt in 2001. If the penance of the reckless girls has not yet come to an end, cleanup should begin soon. Me and my bf visiting in the penitents bridge. The mysterious bridge. One of the tourist spot here in wroclaw.

It’s quite a walk to get up to the top but the view is definitely worth it. There’s also a number of places you can stop on the way up. Catch your breath. And learn a little more about the cathedral. A must see while you’re in Wrocław.

Very calming and soothing church with no murals oflr fresco. Church doesn't seem old, but it's few hundred years old. It was quite empty on a Sunday afternoon. There's a tower that's 16 floors up for a fee but no elevator. Music concerts in the evening. They had bones and skulls of people of importance too.
Kendrick R — Google review
My dear reader, this is of interest. Traveling to Torun and visited the museum of gothic in the old city center. And you will find here the ‘VIRGIN AND CHILD WITH ST BARBARA AND ST CATHERINE’ from 1520, the middle part of a triptych Slaski, Silesian workshop (circle of the Master of the Passion)
Michael S — Google review
A fantastic place, a temple in which silence and peace reign in the soul. He is alive. Although most tourist destinations lose this option. I really liked it, and the main thing is that services are held there, there is an organ, like in most Catholic churches. Reconstruction works were being carried out in the temple during my visit, but it is the burden of all historical objects to be forever under reconstruction. The observation deck also impressed me very much. I recommend.

Kolejkowo, also known as the Miniature World of Trains, is a captivating artistic venue located in the historic Swiebodzki Railway Station. This unique destination offers visitors an extraordinary experience as they explore meticulously crafted miniature versions of Wroclaw's landmarks and charming rural scenes. The exhibition features intricate models of local landmarks, bustling towns, and detailed landscapes where tiny trains traverse through a network of over 30 trains.
This is the greatest and most realistic model train/world setup I've ever seen. It's massive, but also extremely intricate. I had a blast watching all the different motions that all the pieces went through. It's more complicated than just model trains and cars going in circles. They connect, disconnect, switch tracks to go around each other. It's truly amazing. There's even a day/night cycle and actual rain storms. This is a must see!!

Am I too old for a miniature land? Possibly but this was great fun. It’s huge but so well constructed, taking you through different urban and rural settings. There’s moving trains and cars but also a thunderstorm. The attention to detail is superb but it’s done with real humour too, so may fun things to pick out yourself.

I absolutely love miniature railways, so this one was a must visit. It hosts a wonderful collection of displays and trains. Kolejkowo has a day/night cycle, presenting gorgeous lighting displays at night that completely change the aesthetic. It's beautifully curated and hosts so many little effects including water features and moving objects. There's a little thunderstorm in one area, a raging nightclub in another. A Christmas village and a haunted house with trick or treaters. And of course a host of running trains. A delight for any railway fan no matter the age.

The Botanical Garden of the University of Wrocław is a must-visit park known for its diverse plant life, including remarkable species from different origins. Upon entering the garden, visitors are greeted with a wide array of plants and greenhouses that add to the enchanting experience. The presence of perennial and rare trees offers an opportunity to learn about their unique history. Established in 1811, the garden has expanded over time but faced destruction during wartime.
This is a wonderful place to find some peace and quiet. It is also the perfect place to seek some shade from the blistering summer sun. If you plan on spending a few hours here, then I would recommend bringing your own food. There is a cafe, but I think that sitting on one of the many benches in the gardens and eating your own food is much more pleasant than sitting in a cafe. There are toilets, which are free and very clean and easy to locate. Entrance cost me 30 PLN for the day, which I thought was really good value.

Hands down the best botanical garden I’ve visited—massive variety of plants and trees, all beautifully organized. Beyond the greenery, there were fossils and even an aquarium. Great value for the ticket, especially since you can easily spend half a day just soaking it all in. Even if you’re not into plants, it’s a fantastic spot to unwind and enjoy as a park.

Found it accidentally...and man was it worth going there! It's beautifully arranged, so much to see, the flowerbeds, the waterworks, cactii house, very nice! The coffee room could do with a bit of hard work and an eye for making a space cozy that went in the flower and greenery arrangement though. I'm so glad we went there. If you got the opportunity, go on, have a walk around the park, it will do you good.

An incredibly beautiful botanical garden in the middle of the city. I didn’t notice someone mentioned the expense nature of the botanical garden, and I have to say having visited several around the world, This is actually an incredibly cheap and inexpensive experience. It’s certainly worth 30 pln. The gardens themselves are beautifully maintained, and the design is exquisite every time we thought we were at the end of the garden. There was more and more and more. There’s places to sit peacefully as well as beautiful plants and trees to observe. They also have some great displays for kids so the whole family can enjoy.

The White Stork Synagogue, located in the heart of Wroclaw's Jewish quarter, is a prominent 19th-century building that offers insights into the local history of the Jewish community. As well as the synagogue itself, which you can view from balconies, there are a couple of floors of Jewish museum, one focused on artifacts from the Jewish community in Wroclaw and around Poland (silverwear, books etc), and another with information about the treatment of Jews historically, and in Poland post war and post 1989. Plenty of info in English, free entry, worth an hour of your time. My favourite learning is that the WWII era King of Denmark used to purposefully wear a yellow badge, and encouraged all Danes to do likewise so the Nazis found it harder to identify Jews . I don't know if it's connected, but I understand Denmark's jews were not cleared as in other occupied parts of europe.

We rented the place and Mr. Daniel should be fired for absolute disgrace and experience of rental. This place is absolute joke for serious business. I have never seen this kind of unprofessional liars…
Njjn J — Google review
The synagogue has dual function, it is still a synagogue where there are services on main holidays like Yom Kippur or Pesach and it works as a museum of Jewish History in Silesia as well, a temporary exibition can be found on "Ezrat Nashim", the lady's area. The complex has a restaurant, a cafe and a few meters away a Jewish Information Centre. Two weeks ago the new mikve - ritual bath - was opened and there are frequent community events on the premises.

The Cathedral of St John The Baptist was built around 1272-1341 and is one of the best examples of Gothic architecture in Wrocław. It’s twin towers soar an impressive 98 metres into the air and are an intertwined part of Wrocław’s skyline. The facade is magnificent and the interior is a work of art , it’s a stunning cathedral. This unique museum showcases an impressive collection of gaming relics, from iconic consoles like the Magnavox Odyssey and Atari to vintage computers such as Commodore and Apple. Visitors can immerse themselves in gaming history by playing some classic titles during their 1 hour 45-minute time slot.
A fantastic place for nostalgia and just good time. The range of games and devices you can explore is incredible and we had so much fun! Would absolutely recommend, especially for such a reasonable price ☺️

Book tickets before you go and be aware that entry is in the exact time frame of your ticket. If you show up at the exact start time say 12, you have 1 hour 45 min. If you show up 12:30 you have 30 minutes less. Thats enough time and work a one time visit. The price is reasonable as well. They say there are about 40 playable games setup. There are a few arcade style, home systems, and computer systems. There’s even an old pong game but the screen is not really playable - maybe it’s has a bad connection. The Pit Fighter arcade game cabinet is setup strangely which is confusing for kids. There are 3 joysticks on the cabinet. Only the left two work, the middle joystick is the player on the left and the left joystick is the player in the right. The game itself is not Pit Fighter but Tekken which is a good thing as the game is better. The street fighter machine has a smaller than usual screen in the cabinet however it was still fun to play. There’s a donkey Kong game where you play drums and clap your hands as the controller which was interesting to play. A few of the systems has some error messages in the screen or weren’t ready to play. The lady who works at the front could be more welcoming. It would make more sense to have a gamer work here - maybe a student would enjoy it more.

The place is so cool and it's not even a museum, although it is, it's a very rich collection of old computer games, old gadgets and all sorts of cool things from the 80s and 90s. Every object, every item brought back memories from the past. Although the place is not big, we spent close to two hours there and it was a complete pleasure. It's important to note that you can play on all the game machines and computers there. Gamers can spend an entire day here.

Be careful- the opening hours may say 10am but if nobody booked, it seems they won’t open until tickets are purchased in advance. I would go so far as to say you cannot show up and buy tickets in person unless someone else happens to have purchased tickets for that time. We bought tickets for 12pm and the place was closed until exactly 12:00. It was fun and nostalgic to see the technology and the ticket price was fair.

Good gaming museum. You have to go at a specific time slot, but you can buy a ticket in person. you get a 1h45 time slot, which is plenty. I wish there was short instructions for each game next to it, although there is QR codes so it might be on there. Some people spend 30 mins on games though and we didn’t get to play a fun game because of that!

Our family visited here yesterday whilst on holiday. Whilst I'm not into gaming that much my husband and sons are and they thought it was brilliant! I really liked that there is a limited number of people per session - there were only 12 of us when we visited so you never had to wait to play a game. There was always something to do. You get a 1hr 45 minute session. We didn't stay until the end due to tiredness but it was great to have such a decent length of time.

Established in 1865, ZOO Wrocław is dedicated to the conservation of endangered species and houses thousands of animals. Visitors can purchase souvenirs such as exotic animal mascots, souvenir medals available in vending machines near major attractions, and unique greeting cards dating back to the late nineteenth century. The zoo offers an opportunity for fun and educational interactions with a wide variety of wild animals, including different species of birds and predatory animals.
The Wrocław Zoo is absolutely amazing. The territory is huge, beautifully maintained, and full of animals from all around the world. One of the highlights is definitely the Afrykarium (aquarium) – breathtaking and worth the visit on its own. I spent about 4 hours walking through the entire area and covered roughly 8 km – that’s how big and impressive it is! There are plenty of toilets and food courts, which makes the visit convenient, especially for families. Prices for food and extras are on the higher side, but it’s definitely worth it for such a unique experience. For parents: renting a children’s wheeled cart costs 30 zł per day, which can be very helpful. Overall, an unforgettable experience and one of the top attractions in Wrocław. Highly recommended for everybody

I visited Wrocław Zoo on two separate occasions in September 2025 in order to make the most of my time in the city and the weather. I visit zoos across the world in order to photograph their animals, and would consider the one in Wrocław among the best. The zoo is well laid out, with many indoor houses and outdoor enclosures for species across the animal kingdom. The houses that most impressed me were the Terrarium (for reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates) and the Afrykarium for African fauna. The Terrarium is laid out over two floors (unfortunately not accessible to wheelchairs) and contains around 100 exhibits for animals ranging from tiny insects to crocodiles and giant tortoises. All of these are appropriate in size and conditions for their inhabitants. Many of the animals here can only be seen here in Europe, including some tiny colourful geckos from the Indian Ocean. I spent several hours in here on my two visits, photographing all the animals I could see. The Afrykarium takes you on a journey through the continent and its waters. The only deviation from this theme was to replace the rare African manatees with their slightly more common Caribbean relative, of which I could see five individuals swimming in their tank. Other inhabitants include penguins, fur seals, sharks, hippopotamus, aardvarks, and elephant shrews. The building is accessible to wheelchairs with a few elevators, but one was out of service on my visit. Other notable exhibits include the bird house, with its many rare species, Pallas’s cats, and olive baboons. Overall I recommend a visit to anyone interested in birds, endangered species, unusual reptiles, or just animals in general.

Truly amazing experience! The Wrocław Zoo is much bigger than I expected and incredibly well kept. You can really see that the animals are healthy, well fed, and properly cared for — everything feels very natural and clean. There are so many different species to see, and the Afrykarium is just breathtaking! The only small downside is that not every section has English translations, but honestly, it didn’t stop us from enjoying it at all. It’s a wonderful place for both kids and adults — definitely one of the best zoos I’ve ever visited. Highly recommended!

Great value for ticket cost, 176zł (£36.05 for x2 ticket, £18 per person). So many animals, a lot to see, indoor aquarium was amazing and tunnel under the sharks and rays was a highlight. Hot dogs from cafe at beginning were great, little expensive compared to other places (48zł for x2 hot dogs, x1 cola, x1 water, £8.82. Each hot dog at 12zł (£2.45) compared to 8.99zł (£1.84) for hot dogs and cola bottle elsewhere). Gift shop closed hour before zoo closed so missed out on getting any items from there sadly

I absolutely loved my visit to the Wrocław Zoo! It’s one of the most beautiful and well-organized zoos I’ve ever been to. The animals look healthy and well cared for, and the enclosures are clean and spacious. The Afrykarium is a must-see — it feels like stepping into another world! 🐠🐧 There are plenty of places to relax, grab a snack, and enjoy the atmosphere. Perfect for families, couples, or just a peaceful walk surrounded by nature and animals. Highly recommend visiting! 🌿🐘🦓

Great ZOO with quite a long history! I'd especially recommend pavilon with manatees (there is not very many places to see those in Europe) and very nice terrarium. There is an underground parking nearby, so you can leave your dog in the car without worries even if it's hot outside. Very worth visiting once you are in Wroclaw!

Absolutely stunning—easily one of the best zoos I’ve ever been to, and I’ve seen quite a few. Massive grounds, an incredible variety of animals, and more than enough to fill an entire day. A definite must-visit if you’re in Wroclaw.

Szczytnicki Park, located in Wroclaw, is a picturesque destination that offers a blend of natural beauty and cultural attractions. The park features a renowned Japanese garden established in 1913 and rebuilt multiple times. It is part of the collection of well-known parks in Wroclaw, including Stanislaw Tolpa's Park, Park Zachodni, Grabiszynski Park, Park Poludniowy, and Park Wschodni.
Definitely a must visit when you are in Wroclav. A nature gateway in the middle of the city. Squirrels are wandering freely, lots of shade and beautiful spots to rest eyes and soul 😍 You can even plan a picknik here with the family.

A beautiful and peaceful escape in the heart of Wrocław! Szczytnicki Park is one of the most charming green spaces I've visited in Poland. The park is huge, with well-maintained paths, centuries-old trees, and a calm, serene atmosphere. The Japanese Garden is especially breathtaking—perfect for a quiet walk or photos. There are plenty of benches, open lawns, and even a small pond with ducks. Great spot for a weekend picnic, a romantic stroll, or just some time in nature. Highly recommend if you're visiting Wrocław!
Ebrahim N — Google review
Packed in the evening for the show, but still worth visiting. Nice walks and many places you can take a sit and have fun.
Lukasz L — Google review
The park is huge and locaded avay from popular tourus trails. It is better to get here by any mean of transport rather than by walk if you want to come here from the center. The atmosphere is more "nature and forest style". Not really many peiple around, so may seam a bit lonely. The park has multipe lanes easy to get lost without a map. The infrastructure is almost absent, just benches and trash bins. No points of sales or attractions at all. I would say the best utilisation of the place is riding a bike.

Szczytnicki Park in Wroclaw is a beautiful urban oasis, with expansive greenery, a peaceful Japanese garden, and, best of all, the incredible multimedia fountain show. The show runs seasonally, usually from May to late October, and is especially stunning at night. After sunset, the fountain comes alive with vibrant lights, music, and synchronized water displays—an absolute must-see. If you’re visiting during the season, plan an evening at the park to catch this unique and mesmerizing experience!
Anderson — Google review
The free side of the park is very beautiful and if you fancy a stroll around trees and ducks go for it. The Japanese garden is also very nice but for the cost of 30 plz per person I found it a little bit overpriced as is not very big.
Andrew V — Google review
Definitely the top park in the city. A lot of space to walk a spend time listening songs of the birds. Amazing at every time of the year. Specially in the spring when a Japan garden is crowdy, just 5 minutes walk from it you'll have a lot of beautiful views for free and without queues.
Serge K — Google review
An interesting Germanic building and associated park with a wonderful interaction between fountains and music. I believe the fountains operate on the hour on an hourly basis. It is a little bit far from town centre, but if you have time on you hands worth going to see the view the fountains. Note? The Museum of Bourgeois Art is located in the old town hall, a historic building dating back to the 13th to 16th centuries. The museum hosts the Wroclaw Symposium, a platform for artistic exchange and debate. Visitors can also embark on a scavenger hunt for over 350 dwarf statuettes scattered around the city, each with its own historical significance.
The Gothic town hall built from the 13th century is one of the main landmarks of the city. Very beautiful architecture❤️
Victoria — Google review
The building itself is amazing, but I won't recommend anyone to visit inside (especially if you are a tourist). Let me tell you why: 1. Lack of English description 2. Staff are careless; they can't even speak simple English and are too loud 3. The interiors are boring and too plain. Please save your money and only take photos from outside with the building 🥰
JN0827 — Google review
Circa 30 min visit is about rifht. Nice building with historical significance for the city. Beautiful sealing and with few panels to read about the history itself.

The facade of the building is quite beautiful and worth to see. But, the contents of this museum had a lack of storytelling. Simply, the historical objects are placed with info board. I hope they will improve for the future.

I didn’t actually go inside the museum as I didn’t have the desire - but the exterior is absolutely stunning. Built in the gothic style and was built in the 13th century. Much of it survived the war so you can enjoy its natural beauty. Make sure to appreciate all the fine details 🥰

The Bridge of Penitents, also known as the Bridge of Witches, is a unique attraction in Wroclaw that offers stunning views of the city. It connects the two towers of the 13th-century Gothic Cathedral of St Mary Magdalene and stands at a height of 45 meters above the ground. Visitors can climb 247 steps to reach the bridge and enjoy an incredible panorama of Wroclaw.
Some people say that climbing so many steps is difficult, but in fact it's not, and it's worth it because it offers a beautiful view. It will take about 15 - 20 minutes if you also read historical notes along the way. The building itself is an old cathedral so you will be surrounded by very interesting architecture.
Максим П — Google review
Slightly hard to climb all the stairs in hot weather, but astonishing view worth every single step. If by any chance you are there when it is not so overcrowded you may really take good pictures and be satisfied from the top view over Vroclaw. Big roof of the church is newly renovated in two colored pattern. I recommend to spare some time to visit this place.
Nikolai N — Google review
The Bridge of Penitents in Wrocław is one of the city’s most fascinating spots—where history, legend, and breathtaking views meet, it’s a magical place that everyone can enjoy. Be ready for the climb—about 250 steps, nearly 10 minutes up—but it’s worth every step. The staircase itself is an experience: glowing with blue lights, filled with atmospheric background music, and along the way you’ll discover little treasures like the old wooden chair and stories about the bells. It feels like walking through time with a touch of modern thrill. When you finally reach the top, yes—you’ll be a bit exhausted—but the moment the fresh air hits your face and the panoramic view of Wrocław opens before you, it’s pure magic. Standing on the narrow bridge between the two towers is an unforgettable feeling
Shiva H — Google review
This gorgeous bridge between the two towers of a church isn't the easiest climb, but definitely worth it! It does get quite busy at the top, so I'd recommend taking breaks on mid-levels to peruse the plethora of information boards available. Learn about the history of the area and building while making your way up. Once at the top, there are beautiful views over Wroclaw to reward you.
Bianca W — Google review
Beautiful views from the top, especially at sunset. No elevator, only stairs, 245 steps up and be careful the grate starts halfway up, so if you are afraid of heights, it is good to be aware of this.
Toni S — Google review
It's a nice short experience going up.Climb via stairs is not that difficult.View across the bridge is very good. Ticket cost is also not that much. In short good experience if you are photo enthusiast.
Vinay D — Google review
Views were amazing and unlike other towers the stairs were sturdy, did take away some authenticity but was easier to climb! I wish there was a bit more information as you go up about the history. Views were amazing though
Emma B — Google review
Nice attraction to see it if you able to climb over 260 stairs. However there are some platforms with interesting facts to rest when you climbing up, so you don’t need to do all stairs in one go. On top of tower on bridge view is amazing specially at sun down but bridge can get overcrowded very quickly due to small size and because is located between two towers you don’t have 360 view.

Specialty Museums
Nestled within the enchanting walls of a former medieval monastery and Benedictine church, the Museum of Architecture in Wroclaw stands as Poland's sole institution dedicated to architectural history. This captivating museum showcases an impressive array of artifacts, including ancient stone sculptures and stunning stained-glass windows. Among its treasures is a remarkable Romanesque tympanum from the 12th century, adorned with intricate carvings that transport visitors back in time.
I was in two minds about visiting, but I am really glad I did. Not only did we turn up on the day when it was free, it was also super-interesting. The permanent collection is really I suspect a catalogue of bits and pieces that were left over from the rubble when the city was being rebuilt. So there will be, for example, a cabinet of door handles, or stained glass, or heating stoves showing the different styles between the middle ages and about art deco. When we went there was also a temporary exhibition about a futuristic architect from the 60s who based his designs around geometric shapes, which was the perfect accompaniment.
Alex C — Google review
It was amazing experience to visit this museum! We were able to enter with a dog, it’s great 👍 However the most important is the building of museum itself, its historical and gorgeous! You’ll see a lot of different expositions on different topics about architecture and urbanism. I recommend you to visit Museum of Architecture as soon as possible 💗
Maryna S — Google review
The entry is a bit hard to find , too discreet - on the side of the park towards city center. There are temporary exhibitions and a permanent one. Some parts are interactive, fun for kids and adults alike. The other exhibitions are also valuable. We appreciated the thoroughly documented exhibition on Black sea architecture, very good ! The ticket is cheap.
SVC — Google review
Permanent exhibition is not large but there are temporary ones take place regularly. What is valuable is buildings where museum is located - it is former church and monastery, so it is worthwhile to spend some time there
Amarok S — Google review
I was expecting a little more on Poland's architecture. This place has more of a local display of interior architectural elements. The museum is housed in a decommissioned monastery and church. Some displayed items are from the original church. The audio guide was great and had you moving along. I only wish there was more about Polish architects.
Irma J — Google review
The museum is in the church building. It wouldn't take many time to observe it. The interesting part was the possibility to see from very short distance the details of construction of the old buildings. Also there were many old ceramic and metal stoves. If you have some time and already visited main museums, it's good to visit this one as well.
Serge K — Google review
I didn't expect my kids to enjoy their visit to this museum, but they really did. It helped that the automotive exhibition at the entrance came equipped with a load of Hot Wheels cars for them to play with, but beyond that they seemed to really enjoy the art exhibitions as well. Usually modern art is not my thing - but I found several pieces here to fall in love with.
Christopher W — Google review
I initially mistakenly thought it was part of another ticket pass, but as I do love architectural details I was happy to pay the 20zł entry fee. The (free) English audio guide was very well done; and additionally the displays all had English descriptions. While it’s not a huge museum, there is enough to while away an hour and the interior courtyard is rather lovely and would be pleasant on a summer’s day.

The picturesque alley features adorable wooden buildings and retains its medieval character with structures from the 17th and 18th centuries built on medieval foundations.
Stare Jatki Street is one of Wrocław's most engaging streets. Its picturesque charm is no doubt due to the fact that it has retained its medieval character throughout the ages. Most of the structures on Stare Jatki date from the 17th and 18th centuries, the line of low level buildings were constructed on medieval foundations and some elements from the 13th century are still visible on the south side of the street.

Channa M — Google review
Stare Jatki (Old Butcher's Stalls) is a cobbled pedestrian small street hosting numerous artist studios and art shops. Animal sculptures draw a lot of visitors attention. A popular myth is that stroking these animals brings happiness and secures another return to Wroclaw. Located just a few minutes walk from the Market Square.

A small street with old houses, where the small shops with different crafts are situated. I bought there gorgeous glass balloons on the Christmas tree, but there are always clothes, postcards and galleries. Also outside there are bronze statues of domestic animals - cool to take photos with :)

City Arsenal is a museum housed in the historic Arsenal building, featuring an extensive collection of military artifacts spanning from the 17th to the 20th centuries. The museum's four rooms showcase a diverse array of exhibits, making it one of the most intriguing and worthwhile attractions in the city. Although English translations directly above the pieces are not available, visitors can navigate through the displays using a separate guidebook.
One of the Wroclaw's historic spots. Don't expect to much (in terms of artefacts) bur the building itself is very interesting. It also has quite a history.

Never expected a museum to be here, worth visiting tho. The only sad thing is you have to guide yourself by using separate book, no English translation directly above the pieces. Guide ladies are sweet, trying to answer all of your questions, so thanks for that

Ogród Japoński, located within Szczytnicki Park, is a serene Japanese-style garden that dates back to the city's 1913 World Exposition. Recently restored with the help of the Japanese Embassy, it features authentic Japanese elements such as cascading waterfalls, oriental bridges, granite lanterns, and ornamental gates surrounding a large central lake. The garden is known for its seasonal beauty, boasting cherry blossoms in spring and vibrant fall foliage.
A very nice place full of beautiful plants and a small pond. It has a wonderful atmosphere. You can follow the path around it and have a comfortable walk and of course you can take a lot of nice photos.

A very small garden ,well maintained and clean. But if you really want an oasis of greenery with lots of flowers it’s better to choose Botanical Garden of the University of Wroklaw. This one seems like a tourist trap (small and overpriced but well positioned near the Stulecia Hall , Zoo)

I loved the garden. I love nature in general, so it’s nice and you have many spots where you can just sit and enjoy.

The Japanese Garden in Wrocław is a really beautiful and peaceful place. I especially enjoyed watching the big fish in the lake — they are amazing! The ticket is not cheap, but the visit is definitely worth the price.

The Japanese Garden in Wrocław is pure heaven. Peaceful, beautifully designed, and full of charm – it’s the perfect place to slow down and enjoy nature.
Marina Ž — Google review
A lovely garden with a nice variety of plants, a peaceful lake, and even koi fish. That said, having visited the botanical garden the day before, this one felt a bit underwhelming in comparison—smaller in size, same ticket price, and no toilets on-site. Still enjoyable, but if you're short on time in Wroclaw, the botanical garden is the better pick.

I had high hopes for the Japanese Garden in Wrocław. Everything is well maintained and pleasant to walk through, but it turned out to be much smaller than I expected. While it’s charming, the visit felt rather short, and for 30 złoty, it seems a bit pricey.

It is not bad, however, it is incredibly small (something i wasn't expecting) and they make you pay to get in. Not worth it, I would say.

Restaurant
Chatka przy Jatkach in Wroclaw is a popular spot among locals, offering a warm welcome and a variety of typical Polish dishes. The staff is friendly and eager to recommend their specialties. Visitors have enjoyed the pork knuckle, duck, fried potato pancake with cream and sugar, pierogi, paprika dumplings, dumplings with meat, ribs, and fried cheese. The restaurant's small size adds to its charm but may require reservations during peak hours due to its popularity.
I highly recommend this restaurant!!! The dishes were very tasty and the portions are big. It’s nice at cozy atmosphere here, and very friendly stuff! We like all the dishes which we ordered! Good luck!

A nice place just next to the main square. The menu has a good range of polish dishes to choose from, but in my opinion lacks the appetizers. The food was tasty and the portions big enough. The service was mid, probably just new trainees, but they forgot about our second round of beers.

The imposing church of Saint Elizabeth of Hungary is a stunning example of Gothic architecture. With its tall tower and viewing deck, it's a popular spot for tourists to take in the Rynek skyline. The church is also home to a parish that includes parts of the Rynek and many other medieval buildings in central Warsaw.
St. ELIZABETH CHURCH ⛪️ The house of prayer that is the garrison church is one of the most important city temples, a foundation of Wrocław patricians, a symbol of Wrocław's ambitions and possibilities. The current minor basilica, whose patron saint is St. Elizabeth of Hungary, has been destroyed many times, but its splendor and beauty have always been restored. The temple is the church of the military parish of St. Elizabeth, which was erected on January 12, 1993. On May 31, 1997, after years of reconstruction, the Wrocław parish church was consecrated by the Holy Father John Paul II. On March 15, 1998, a territorial military-civil parish was established. Since that date, not only the faithful of the civil parish, but also soldiers, officers, employees of the Wrocław Garrison and their families have gathered within its walls for prayer. The temple, a place of daily prayer, also becomes the center of religious and patriotic celebrations and a center of prayer meetings of an ecumenical nature, as well as a place of exhibitions, music concerts and theatrical events. The Gothic walls, having the features of the individual style of Silesian sacral architecture, host a rich collection of exceptional works of art: numerous stone epitaphs and sculptures from different periods, an early Baroque altar, a lofty sacramentarium, Gothic stalls, a pulpit, a royal gallery intended in the 18th century for the ruler of the then Silesia. Inviting you to the Wrocław Basilica, we direct the words of the church's patron saint, St. Elizabeth of Hungary, to the visitors: "We must make others happy." May the wish of this European saint accompany us on every day of our earthly journey, God bless.

Beautiful church with a nice view of the city. Do take some water because it is a climb. You can only pay cash for the ticket to go up the tower it was 17 złoty
Channa M — Google review
Went to the tower and enjoyed it. The 360° views of the city are great. It doesn't actually take an hour like the previous reviewer said. I went up, took pictures and came down in just 30 mins. There is a railing to hold onto as well. Maybe try and go in the morning to avoid sharing the stairs with too many people which might change the amount of time it takes. Also make sure you are well hydrated or take water with you and try not to wear too many layers if you can avoid it because it does get you sweating a little. But the experience is nice for just 10zloty. Nice views of the city and a quick thigh workout 😄

I can't say enough how beautiful this church is! Very quiet, with rich history, and where you can sit and pray. Highly recommend for a visit
Evgeniia — Google review
Worth the climb. 300+ stairs. You will be winded when you get up there. But it’s worth it. Also, another reviewer mentioned that it’s cash only, however, I paid with a Visa card.
Jimrym — Google review
It is impossible not to see the church from a distance. Entry to the church is free and worth a visit, though there is nothing extraordinary inside. However, for a small fee, it is worth climbing the tower, which offers an amazing view of the entire city. The entrance may be quite a challenge for some people due to the narrow and steep stairs, but the view makes the effort worthwhile.
Mateusz R — Google review
One of the most impressive places that we have visited in Wroclaw. The church's interior is impressive, but also the view from the tower. Climbing it can be challenging, so make sure that you're in good shape. The view from the top is very rewarding, better than the view from the Bridge of Penitents.
Aleksandar R — Google review
The interior of the church is pretty enough and worth a visit. But the views from the top of the tower are absolutely fantastic! Cost to climb the tower is 15 zloty. Watch out that the climb is by narrow spiral staircase, with people descending too, without any landings to give you a breather. I'm 61, neither a gym goer nor a couch potato, and I was panicking a bit at times.

(Translated by Google) The church is only open on Sunday before mass. There are very unpleasant defenders of the cross here, parishioners who have problems with taking photos of the church. The church itself dates back to the 15th century, but little of the original interior has survived. We have cross-ribbed vaults with keystones, the rest was rebuilt in the Baroque style. In the choir there is a beautiful cartouche of the coat of arms of the von Sternberg and Glaubnitz families. In general, all the baroque furnishings have been preserved, which is unique. The museum is nice and I think it can be worth the visit but our experience wasn't great. We went 40min before they were closing and they said that we could visit it but fast. We agreed, but what we weren't expecting was to have to run through it. The people working in each room were making us pass to the next one because they were closing it. When we finished our visit 15 minutes (!!) before closing, the lights of the way to the reception were already turned off. I think that for that experience they shouldn't let us go in, or at least not pay the ticket. I would like to come back and visit it better.

The Parish of the Most Holy Name of Jesus, located in Wroclaw, is a stunning baroque-rococo church built by the Jesuits in the 1690s. Despite its unassuming exterior, the interior is a breathtaking display of intricate design reminiscent of Rome's St. Peter's Basilica. The engineering marvel of this 500-year-old structure is evident in its support system.
Amazing University of Wroclaw Baroque church. I would have never known about this if it hadn’t been a stop on Best City Tours. I’m so glad that I had a chance to see this stunning Baroque architecture and the grandiose flaunting of wealth of the church. It is free to enter but I did make a donation. Be aware of its opening hours during off-peak season. The one thing I was not expecting was the Soviet monument outside Centennial Hall, which is a sight to see. I learned from the tour guide that the tip is shorter than when originally installed due to lightning hitting the top 2 days before the unveiling. I also learned the three feet are supposed to represent the workers, farmers, and the intelligentsia as the pillars of communism.

Good for the price. 70zł (£14.34 for 2 people, £7.17 per ticket), a lot of movie originals and authentic certifications dotted around. Enjoyed the puzzle section with brain teasers etc

An interesting place to visit, built in an underground bunker which was interesting enough in itself and has many costumes replicas and originals from a lot of movies, nice place to spend and hour or two, family friendly with some fun puzzles towards the end. Definitely something to see of you're visiting central Wrocław

The movie props are nothing to write home about, but the bomb shelter is interesting. I actually wish it would just be more focused on the history of the shelter. There were three people working at the entrance of which only one greeted us and only gave bare minimum instructions about which direction to walk. Not very engaging.

Pretty good price, the girl was really nice, spoke good English. It was just not super big, there could be more cool intricate / insider information about how these costumes were made etc

Art Museums
Nestled within a stunning palace complex in Wroclaw, the Museum of Medallic Art is a treasure trove for history enthusiasts and art lovers alike. This unique museum stands out as Poland's sole institution dedicated to medallic and phaleristic exhibits, boasting an impressive collection of around 50,000 medals, medallions, plaques, and military decorations from both Polish and European origins.
A somewhat large museum filled with very interesting and well-preserved items. One downside: the Air Conditioning is apparently out of service and even the staff are complaining about it. It is 30°C inside in summer!

(Translated by Google) One of the best museums we have in Wrocław. We have the Historical and Medallic Art Museums located here in the Royal Palace - which is a beautiful building with a beautiful garden. That's all there is to it, about the history of Wrocław - but I learned the newer one only at the Zajezdnia History Center. I was very happy going from room to room and then from floor to floor. It took me almost an hour and a half there, and I think I would have made it to two hours if I had decided to go to the second temporary exhibition. I highly recommend it, it's really worth going there ✌🏻 (Original) Jedno z lepszych muzeów jakie mamy we Wrocławiu.

(Translated by Google) In addition to permanent, amazing exhibitions, it is worth seeing and "colliding" with modernity: from the perspective of viewing individual exhibitions, define the concept of "what is art". There is still an opportunity to see the works of another surrealist, Joan Miro. Very nice museum of contemporary art. Entrance is also relatively cheap and there is also 4 museum ticket in which this is included with. Of course you do not like modern art, this is not for you.

We came here because we’d visited the panorama painting and our tickets covered a total of 4 museums. Great value at 50zl a ticket. Some good modern paintings in particular. And make sure you go to the pavilion to watch the musical fountain display (on the hour) too. A very pleasant complex to stroll around for an hour or two.

Amaaazing museum, one of my favourites most definitely. Tickets are ok priced for the amount of works, quality and great building. Really nice space for coffee and talking endlessly about art. There should be more bike racks but it's not bad, at least there is one. Wonderful lighting inside and once again greatly exhibited works of great Polish and sometimes international artists.

The Collegiate Church of the Holy Cross and St. Bartholomew, located on Cathedral Island near the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, is a remarkable two-storey brick church with dual dedications to Holy Cross and St. Bartholomew. The lower church was built due to a cross-shaped root discovery and both churches were constructed amidst a historical conflict between the bishop and the Duke at that time. The church boasts impressive sculptures and houses a replica of the Sistine Chapel painting.
A huge, amazing, beautiful and magnificent medieval cathedral. Left me stunned. The area is absolutely beautiful, as it is surrounded by the river, bridges and small islands. Definitely the number 1 sight in town - or in more or less any town. Don't miss it!

Jim T — Google review
Beautiful Church. They have Latin Mass at 9 am on Sundays, which is not advertised. I love the Latin Mass and wish it was more available for everyone. This is a great service. However, I really dislike that a sign is displayed that says that you can't enter if you are late or a tourist. I agree about not having tourist during Mass, because it's a distraction. I disagree with not allowing people to enter late during the Latin Mass. There are legitimate reasons why someone may be a little late, like your kid throwing up right before you walk out the door or other similar reasons. I understand the concept behind the rule, as you want to develop good habits among the congregation, but you can't be so absolute. Compassion brings more people back to the church. Ten minutes after the 11 am Mass on Sunday, a nun kicked people out. It is a shame that it is not available for tourists to see the church and contribute (which most do) or allowed to pray for at least 30 minutes after the Mass is over. SHAME ON THE ARCHDIOCESE. Hope they discuss this in their synod, about how you can bring people and the young back.

The Grunwald Bridge, a pedestrianized suspension bridge completed in 1910, offers stunning views over the Oder River. This historic bridge has witnessed significant events and is a testament to its survival through wars. It is the only functioning transport bridge in Poland and is popular for its picturesque night views. The bridge also features a cafe restaurant, making it a great spot for hanging out with friends or spending time with family.

Wrocław Główny is Poland's fourth-largest city, home to over 640,000 residents and a vibrant student population of over 140,000. Despite being relatively under-the-radar, it offers incredible architecture, interesting museums, delicious food, and vibrant nightlife without overwhelming crowds.
Beautiful train station, it is very organized and clean unlike other cities I've been too. And the architecture itself looks very aesthetic and nice, it may look bad on the picture but it was a rainy day so, it looks better with good weather .
Aleksander S — Google review
Wrocław Główny is the largest and most important passenger train station in the city of Wrocław, located in southwestern Poland. Situated at the junction of several important routes, it is the largest railway station in the Lower Silesia Voivodeship, as well as in Poland in terms of the number of passengers serviced. Originally built between 1855 and 1857, the station was designed by royal Prussian architect Wilhelm Grapow. Over the years, it has undergone several expansions and reconstructions, with the most recent major renovation completed in 2012, which modernized the facilities while preserving its historic Neo-Gothic architecture. The station serves various national and international rail services, including Intercity and EuroCity trains, providing convenient access to destinations across Poland and beyond. Inside, travelers will find a range of amenities such as ticket offices, waiting areas, eateries, and shops. The station is also equipped with facilities to assist passengers with disabilities. Located at Piłsudskiego 105, Wrocław Główny is open 24 hours a day, offering continuous service to passengers. Its central location makes it a key transportation hub in the region. Travelers should be aware that while the station offers currency exchange services, rates may be more favorable at exchange offices located across the street. Additionally, restrooms are available for a small fee, so having some local currency on hand is advisable. Overall, Wrocław Główny combines historical charm with modern conveniences, making it a significant and efficient gateway for those traveling to or from Wrocław.
R — Google review
A lovely station which has been restored well and which has an impressive ceiling. Yes there are some fast food outlets but these are discrete. Even the ticket offices are historic. There is a wide underpass which gives access to all the platforms and the shopping centre at the far end. The station is very clean and lacked litter/graffiti. Access to the platforms is either via a set of stairs or a lift. There are toilets in the station but you are charged for them. They are free in the shopping centre. Apart from the display boards, there are printed timetables and train announcements which weren't very clear. This is a delightful railway station and should be visited even if you are not going to catch a train.
Andrew L — Google review
Wrocław Główny is the largest railway station in Wrocław. It is one of the most historically  stations in all of Poland that was built.in 1857 (168 years ago). It is considered the largest construction in Europe. In my view, it's the most beautiful railway station in the World. Just for illustration purposes, I visited Poznań a few months ago and I found out that their railway station is integrated with the bus terminal and tramways. I was in front of it and I didn't know where it is? Of course, there is no comparison but I just mentioned that to show the amazing State-of-the-Art in Wrocław. In addition, Wrocław Główny serves as a central hub for domestic and international rail travel. Once you Step inside Wrocław Główny, you’ll find a beautifully Main Hall with Vaulted ceilings and arched windows. You will also be amazed with the Underground Tunnels that connect all platforms with elevators and escalators. Besides,  you will find huge waiting areas with comfortable seating, digital info boards, etc. Furthermore, Wrocław Główny offers a variety of stores that include food & drink, cafeterias, newsstands, bookstores, and souvenir shops. Furthermore, you will also find other convenient shops, a pharmacy, a currency exchange, and  ATMs.

The Mathematical Tower Of Wroclaw University, also known as Wieża Matematyczna Uniwersytetu Wrocławskiego, is a Baroque-style museum that offers a unique experience for visitors. Built in the 18th century as an astronomical observatory, it now serves as a great city viewpoint with a terrace offering stunning views over Slodowa Island and the Old Town from its 42-meter height.
The ticket price is very reasonable, making it something that is definitely worth a visit. The place has beautiful parts, and you can also go up to the roof for a great view of the city. I highly recommend it.

It's not the tallest tower in Wroclaw, but it's by far the nicest and most pleasant. The tower is ideally located on the riverbank, and above all, there's a magnificent, very wide terrace at the top. Despite its low height, there's a magnificent view of the city and the river, and the view reaches very far. This is the tower you absolutely must see.

Monument
Krasnale wrocławskie, also known as Wroclaw's dwarfs, are a collection of over 380 small bronze figures scattered throughout the city. Each gnome is creatively designed and represents a specific part of the city's history or culture. They can be found in unexpected places such as next to popular buildings or on street corners. The gnomes serve as a commemoration of the Orange Alternative movement, which protested against communist authorities in the 1980s.
One of my favorite activities to do in Wroclaw. It's like pokemon go but you find small dwarfs doing mischievous things or just chilling around. Each statue is unique and has its own charm , would definitely recommend to try and find as many.
Victor B — Google review
It was an excellent modern day treasure like hunt to find the dwarfs all over the inner city and some even further out. They turn up in all unexpected places. They have great themes such as the 2 dwarfs trying to move a stone but pushing against each other! The best part is that this is free entertainment.
Simon R — Google review
Really nice and fun doing the dwarfs hunt, there are more than a 1.400 around the whole city. We felt (and looked like) little kids while going around looking for them and finding them everywhere in the city. At the tourist information offices you can buy a map with stickers of the most famous ones (around 60 I believe) and complete the map while finding them. If I had more time in the city would definitely do it!
Juliana P — Google review
ABSOLUTELY LOVE the gnomes, it is soooo much fun finding them. They are everyone and so creative.
