Centennial Hall is a grand circular hall located in Wroclaw, Poland, surrounded by formal gardens. It serves as a venue for major exhibitions, cultural events, and sporting activities. The hall's revolutionary design has earned it the status of a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
This UNESCO site is so cool. It's got a long history, neatly laid out in the visitor's center. I enjoyed the VR experience as well. Walking around the site itself is surreal. Such a massive venue that was built so long ago. It also happens to be the filming location for the 2023 Hunger Games movie, which made it even cooler to visit.
Ethan S — Google review
This was a stop of the Best City Tours, 2 hour tour of Wroclaw. Didn’t have a chance to go inside but learned that is a UNESCO world heritage site for this Edwardian building which has the largest domed cement roof that was built at the time. I enjoyed the quick walk along the pergola to see the fountains. I was surpassed to see the Soviet monument out front.
Cindy L — Google review
Beautiful Venue, But Poor Experience at the Concert The building itself is truly impressive—spacious, elegant, and well-designed for large events. Unfortunately, the experience during the concert left a lot to be desired. Despite the venue not being overly crowded, it was extremely hot and stuffy inside. The ventilation was clearly inadequate, and at times it was hard to even breathe comfortably. This really took away from the enjoyment of the event. To make matters worse, the sound settings were completely off for the first two songs—distorted and poorly balanced, which was disappointing, especially at the start of the show. On top of that, there wasn’t a single bottle of still water available for purchase, which is unacceptable in such conditions. While the venue itself has a lot of potential, the lack of basic comfort and organization during the event was a huge letdown.
Georgia P — Google review
Centennial Hall is huge and really impressive. The architecture is wild modern but historic at the same time. The surrounding area is cool too, with open spaces and spots to chill or take photos. If you’re around Wrocław, it’s definitely worth a stop, even just to walk around outside.
Cameron — Google review
We visited centennial hall for a concert. The architecture and gardens were beautiful but the ventilation and lack of facilities let it down. The band also mentioned that the sound quality was unique (not in a positive way, asking if we could hear them ok). The seats are wooden and can be quite uncomfortable after a period of time. They are also quite close together so not ideal if you are tall. Drinks could be purchased but they were expensive and not refrigerated. I’d recommend buying a drink from the vendors outside and bringing it in. Signage for sitting vs standing wasn’t clear. The seating entrance is nearer to the zoo side.
Kathleen A — Google review
Centennial Hall is a beautiful place and definitely worth a visit. The architecture and surroundings are impressive, and it’s especially lovely during the summer. It’s a bit disappointing, though, that the Japanese Garden next to it requires a separate fee, because it looks like it could perfectly complement the visit. Still, overall, it’s a great spot to explore and enjoy, and I’d recommend it.
Jey — Google review
Centennial Hall in Wrocław is a very interesting place to visit. The building is large and modern-looking, and it is often used for concerts, sports events, and exhibitions. I liked its unique design and the atmosphere inside. It is a place worth seeing if you are in the city.

Island
Ostrów Tumski in Wrocław is a historically and architecturally significant site, featuring remnants of early habitation, including a wooden church. Situated on the Oder River, it is the oldest part of the town and the center of religious life with numerous churches and chapels. Notable buildings include Hala Ludowa 'People's Hall,' an extraordinary example of European architecture's early fascination with reinforced concrete.
This is probably the most picturesque place to visit in Wroclaw. 📷 The architecture and skyline were amazing. Small bridges connecting these islands make it more attractive.
Rahul — Google review
A must-visit spot full of history, charm, and peaceful beauty. Walking through its cobbled streets surrounded by stunning Gothic architecture feels like stepping back in time. The cathedral is breathtaking, and the whole area offers a perfect mix of culture and calm. A true highlight of the city
Olga K — Google review
Undoubtedly, Cathedral Island (Ostrów Tumski) is the heart and spiritual soul of Wroclaw. Hidtirically, the current Gothic cathedral is the fifth iteration, built in the 13th–14th century that makes it the first  Gothic church in Poland. It has twin towers and the interior has breath taking instructure. blends Gothic structure with Baroque and Renaissance details added over centuries. Based on historical documents, the cathedral was heavily damaged in WWII when German forces used it as an ammunition depot. However,  its post-war reconstruction is the proof and testament of the huge work that has been done to keep it in such a stunning and amazing piece of art in Wrocław. I hope you have the chance to visit such a wonderful historical place that will dazzle your brain with knowledge and the pride of your country.

Very nice view at night and worth to take a walk along the promenade. Just opposite of the Hala Tagorwa. Cross the bridge and around 7 mins walk.
Nomad A — Google review
Probably the most interesting part of Wroclaw if you look for less touristy places. It is the oldest part of the town located withing walking distance from the main square. Great to wander around and to spot the lamplighter at dusk. He lights all 90 gas lamps every single days! Worth the wait....
Piotrek P — Google review
Great place for viewing point of the city. Loses a star because the elevator guy took long time and was a bit creepy
Brehnen S — Google review
A fantastic place to visit , great architecture, wonderful churches that must a visit. Climb up in the Gothic Church for a wonderful panoramic view of the island and of the Old City. A couple of steps and an elevator will take you up. A must seen if you are in Wrocław. By the way it’s an easy 10 min. walk from the Old Town of Wrocław
Robert R — Google review
One of my absolutely favourite places in Wroclaw!! Definitely a MUST SEE! Plus cause of it’s very central location incredibly easy to reach! It’s the oldest part of the city of Wroclaw. It was formerly an island between branches of the Oder River. Archaeological excavations have shown that the western part of Ostrov Tumski, between the Church of St. Martin and the Holy Cross, was the first area to be inhabited. The first, wooden church (St. Martin), dating from the 10th century, was surrounded by defensive walls built on the banks of the river. The island had approximately 1,500 inhabitants at that time. The first constructions on Ostrov Tumski were built in the 10th century by the Piast dynasty, and were made from wood. The first building from solid material was St. Martin's chapel, built probably at the beginning of the eleventh century by Benedictine monks. Not long after the first cathedral was raised, in place of the small church. Religious buildings appeared in Ostrov Tumski because during the Congress of Gniezno in AD 1000, it was decided to create a bishopric in Wrocław.

We stayed on the 63rd floor apartment with a jacuzzi within the room. Views are lovely, staff were good. Pricey - therefore 4 stars as I feel like it's a BIT too expensive for what it is. Once in a lifetime kinda thing. Recommend.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ✨ Sunlight spilling over Wrocław from 200 m up—absolutely breathtaking. The fast elevator takes you to the 49th floor in seconds, and the city spreads out like a living map. On clear days, you can even spot Śnieżka. Inside, there’s shopping, food, and even a Salvador Dalí sculpture.

Amazing city views and a nice bar on the 54th floor. Wish there was full 360° rooftop access, but still a great experience.
Mike B — Google review
Great experience. On the 49th floor you have a great view and everything looks like in a computer game. At the bar upstairs there are drinks and relaxed music. We paid 53 PLN per person for the trip up (it's ok, but could be a bit cheaper). Highly recommended!

Restauracja Piwnica Świdnicka Wrocław, one of the oldest restaurants in Europe dating back to 1273, has recently reopened its doors with a clean and elegant design. Situated in a central location directly on the market square, the restaurant aims to attract a certain audience and differentiate itself from others. The reopening brings forth traditional food and beer while maintaining a unique appeal. The restaurant is located underneath Ratusz and shares space with a museum that hosts cultural events.
Very good service staff and very delicious meal. Fresh incrediens wonderful chef. The food was exceptional, with the duck standing out as a highlight of the meal. Our waitress was incredibly kind, cheerful, and attentive, adding a personal touch that truly enhanced our dining experience.
Tiger B — Google review
Amazing food in a great setting. We visited twice during our stay and had a variety off of the menu. Highlights were steak tartare and duck breast - highly recommend. The staff are attentive and polite, even during busy periods we felt looked after. There is an extensive wine and beer list, which they brew themselves and you can see the vats when dining which is very cool. You can sit outside or down in the basement, both are nice. This is definitely a little pricier due to its location and tourism value but the food did not disappoint us at all!
Lauren S — Google review
Absolutely love this place. During my 4 day stay I ate here everyday as once was not enough. The food is absolutely delicious, good portion sizes, great pricing. The staff is very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Can’t wait to come again next time and have delicious food in great atmosphere!
Jo S — Google review
This gorgeous restaurant resides in the cellars under the city museum. With a stunning history dating back to the early 1200s, the cavernous space is presented as an upscale brewery restaurant. Staff are excellent and food was absolutely delicious. The goose pirogi were so rich and creamy, fantastic presentation and flavours!
Bianca W — Google review
Food and beers are top. Worth to take the beer tasting. Place is super nice, location in the terrace is beautiful, in the market square, and it’s the oldest restaurant/brewery in Europe. Good value for price
Nicola P — Google review
I went against my better judgement and tried this restaurant because it dates back to 1273. I normally do not eat at restaurants along the main square because they tend to be expensive and the food is often below average. That was exactly the case here. We ordered the chicken noodle soup, dumplings in blue cheese sauce, and schnitzel. The soup was basic and good. The dumplings were underwhelming and the schnitzel was basically all breading. I’d say it was probably the worst schnitzel I’ve ever had. I do not recommend going here and I will not be returning.
Rick R — Google review
This hidden gem in Rynek serves the best Polish cuisine I’ve ever had. The friendly and helpful waiter ensured a great dining experience. The pork knuckle, salmon, and duck breast were all delicious. The beer tasting was also fun and tasty.

The Bridge of Penitents, also known as the Bridge of Witches, is a unique attraction in Wroclaw that offers stunning views of the city. It connects the two towers of the 13th-century Gothic Cathedral of St Mary Magdalene and stands at a height of 45 meters above the ground. Visitors can climb 247 steps to reach the bridge and enjoy an incredible panorama of Wroclaw.
Some people say that climbing so many steps is difficult, but in fact it's not, and it's worth it because it offers a beautiful view. It will take about 15 - 20 minutes if you also read historical notes along the way. The building itself is an old cathedral so you will be surrounded by very interesting architecture.
Максим П — Google review
Slightly hard to climb all the stairs in hot weather, but astonishing view worth every single step. If by any chance you are there when it is not so overcrowded you may really take good pictures and be satisfied from the top view over Vroclaw. Big roof of the church is newly renovated in two colored pattern. I recommend to spare some time to visit this place.
Nikolai N — Google review
The Bridge of Penitents in Wrocław is one of the city’s most fascinating spots—where history, legend, and breathtaking views meet, it’s a magical place that everyone can enjoy. Be ready for the climb—about 250 steps, nearly 10 minutes up—but it’s worth every step. The staircase itself is an experience: glowing with blue lights, filled with atmospheric background music, and along the way you’ll discover little treasures like the old wooden chair and stories about the bells. It feels like walking through time with a touch of modern thrill. When you finally reach the top, yes—you’ll be a bit exhausted—but the moment the fresh air hits your face and the panoramic view of Wrocław opens before you, it’s pure magic. Standing on the narrow bridge between the two towers is an unforgettable feeling
Shiva H — Google review
This gorgeous bridge between the two towers of a church isn't the easiest climb, but definitely worth it! It does get quite busy at the top, so I'd recommend taking breaks on mid-levels to peruse the plethora of information boards available. Learn about the history of the area and building while making your way up. Once at the top, there are beautiful views over Wroclaw to reward you.
Bianca W — Google review
Beautiful views from the top, especially at sunset. No elevator, only stairs, 245 steps up and be careful the grate starts halfway up, so if you are afraid of heights, it is good to be aware of this.
Toni S — Google review
It's a nice short experience going up.Climb via stairs is not that difficult.View across the bridge is very good. Ticket cost is also not that much. In short good experience if you are photo enthusiast.
Vinay D — Google review
Views were amazing and unlike other towers the stairs were sturdy, did take away some authenticity but was easier to climb! I wish there was a bit more information as you go up about the history. Views were amazing though
Emma B — Google review
Nice attraction to see it if you able to climb over 260 stairs. However there are some platforms with interesting facts to rest when you climbing up, so you don’t need to do all stairs in one go. On top of tower on bridge view is amazing specially at sun down but bridge can get overcrowded very quickly due to small size and because is located between two towers you don’t have 360 view.

Szczytnicki Park, located in Wroclaw, is a picturesque destination that offers a blend of natural beauty and cultural attractions. It is part of the collection of well-known parks in Wroclaw, including Stanislaw Tolpa's Park, Park Zachodni, Grabiszynski Park, Park Poludniowy, and Park Wschodni.
Definitely a must visit when you are in Wroclav. A nature gateway in the middle of the city. Squirrels are wandering freely, lots of shade and beautiful spots to rest eyes and soul 😍 You can even plan a picknik here with the family.

A beautiful and peaceful escape in the heart of Wrocław! Szczytnicki Park is one of the most charming green spaces I've visited in Poland. The park is huge, with well-maintained paths, centuries-old trees, and a calm, serene atmosphere. The Japanese Garden is especially breathtaking—perfect for a quiet walk or photos. There are plenty of benches, open lawns, and even a small pond with ducks. Great spot for a weekend picnic, a romantic stroll, or just some time in nature. Highly recommend if you're visiting Wrocław!
Ebrahim N — Google review
Packed in the evening for the show, but still worth visiting. Nice walks and many places you can take a sit and have fun.
Lukasz L — Google review
The park is huge and locaded avay from popular tourus trails. It is better to get here by any mean of transport rather than by walk if you want to come here from the center. The atmosphere is more "nature and forest style". Not really many peiple around, so may seam a bit lonely. The park has multipe lanes easy to get lost without a map. The infrastructure is almost absent, just benches and trash bins. No points of sales or attractions at all. I would say the best utilisation of the place is riding a bike.
Yuriy P — Google review
Szczytnicki Park in Wroclaw is a beautiful urban oasis, with expansive greenery, a peaceful Japanese garden, and, best of all, the incredible multimedia fountain show. The show runs seasonally, usually from May to late October, and is especially stunning at night. After sunset, the fountain comes alive with vibrant lights, music, and synchronized water displays—an absolute must-see. If you’re visiting during the season, plan an evening at the park to catch this unique and mesmerizing experience!
Anderson — Google review
The free side of the park is very beautiful and if you fancy a stroll around trees and ducks go for it. The Japanese garden is also very nice but for the cost of 30 plz per person I found it a little bit overpriced as is not very big.
Andrew V — Google review
Definitely the top park in the city. A lot of space to walk a spend time listening songs of the birds. Amazing at every time of the year. Specially in the spring when a Japan garden is crowdy, just 5 minutes walk from it you'll have a lot of beautiful views for free and without queues.
Serge K — Google review
An interesting Germanic building and associated park with a wonderful interaction between fountains and music. I believe the fountains operate on the hour on an hourly basis. It is a little bit far from town centre, but if you have time on you hands worth going to see the view the fountains. Note? Perhaps the last photo could be an accurate description of where we are going in all politics throughout the world!

Wroclaw Old Town Hall is a masterpiece of medieval architecture located in the Market Square, dating back to the 13th century. The square and surrounding areas are pedestrian-friendly, making it easy to explore on foot. The town hall was once the seat of city authorities and court, and now houses the City Museum of Wroclaw. The architecture is incredible. So many details. Just stand there and look at all the details of this miniature statues within the facade of the building.

This building is one of the most beautiful in Wrocław. It’s right in the main square and full of history. The Gothic design is amazing, and it looks even better at night when it’s lit up. A great place to visit if you’re in the Old Town.

Step into a storybook in Wrocław's breathtaking Old Town! The colorful merchant houses surrounding the massive Market Square (one of Europe's largest) create a postcard-perfect scene. Don't miss: • The stunning Gothic **Town Hall** with its astronomical clock • Charming **gnome statues** hiding everywhere • Cozy cafés in pastel-colored townhouses • Sunset views from **St. Elizabeth's Church tower** The area stays lively day and night with street performers, seasonal markets, and boat tours along the canals. This scenic bridge in Wroclaw beautifully connects different parts of the city over the river, offering stunning views of the water and historic architecture. It's a popular spot for photos, leisurely walks, and taking in the charm of the surrounding area. The bridge adds both functionality and beauty to the cityscape, making it a pleasant route whether you're exploring or simply crossing to the other side.

Tumski Bridge is a perfect spot for photos. We visited specifically to catch the person who lights the gas lamps—it was an incredible and magical experience that was well worth the wait. The bridge has a special charm and offers wonderful views of the city. It's the ideal place for a walk, especially in the evening, when the atmosphere is truly unforgettable. If you have the chance, don't miss the opportunity to enjoy this moment.

This bridge is like any other bridge only... nothing special about it but the walk through this bridge was very peaceful and sarene...the view of the river was calm.... earlier there were locks on the bridge, which were removed in 2019 after the bridge was not able to take...but you can see the locks near the side walk now.

Established in 1702, the University of Wrocław is a prestigious institution that has produced 9 Nobel Prize winners in the 20th century. The main university building is part of a grand Baroque-style complex that includes a former Jesuit college and church. Visitors can explore the Wroclaw University Museum and the magnificent Leopoldinum Hall, as well as enjoy concerts at the historic Oratorium Marianum music hall.
Fascinating place, amazing building inside and out. Don't miss the higher rooms with the wall and ceiling frescos from Renaissance (or some would say, Tartarian Empire) and the viewing tower at the top. Those Jesuits knew how to make an impression, even if they are the ones responsible for a world of lies. 😉

The charm of the University of Wrocław precedes itself. More than my almamater, the university is one of the finest buildings you'll see in Wrocław or even Poland. Don't miss to check out the university museum when it's open to visitors and the lookout tower of the main building. The city looks breathtaking from there! 😍

Just prestige – and nothing more. The university may boast a grand history and a beautiful historic main building, but its faculties are scattered all over Wrocław. Students are constantly running across the city from one department to another. In the end, it’s all just a facade — like the fencer in the fountain near the main building: no sword, no clothes. After your studies here, you’ll be left with nothing. Better to choose another university.

Went to a rehearsal was extremely good as the conductor puts on a good show running you through the inner workings of how a performance is put together. The orchestra was very good. The building itself is extremely spacious and full of modern art. Unfortunately due to the admittance of very young children their behaviour takes away the enjoyment of the show.
Imran M — Google review
what a load of malarkey. Disappointing Concert: Brilliant Musicians Let Down by Clueless Conductor and Poor Programming I attended last night’s classical concert with high expectations, only to leave feeling frustrated and exhausted. While the orchestra itself played flawlessly—each musician technically superb and clearly dedicated—the entire performance was undermined by two major flaws: an utterly inept conductor and a poorly constructed, repetitive programme. First, the conductor. It was painfully obvious that they had no clear vision or control over the music. Their gestures were vague, their tempos inconsistent, and at times, they seemed completely lost, as if unsure of what to do next. The orchestra, to their credit, managed to hold things together through sheer professionalism, but it was baffling to see such a talented ensemble being led by someone who contributed nothing of value. A conductor should shape the music, not just wave their arms aimlessly while the musicians carry the burden. Then there was the programme, a tedious overlong slog of pieces that all blurred together. The selections were either too similar in style or simply too drawn-out, with no sense of pacing or contrast. By the second half, I found myself checking the time, wondering when it would finally end. Concerts should take the audience on a journey, but this felt like being stuck in a musical rut with no escape. A waste of the orchestra’s talent. If not for their exceptional playing, this would have been a complete disaster. Hopefully, next time, the organizers will choose a conductor who actually knows their job and a programme that doesn’t put the audience to sleep. Lass that was singing couldn't get to higher levels, squeaky rubber toy could perform better. When she FINALLY ended someone landed massively smelly and loud wind in my section and I thought... That's summaries it well. If I could give null I would. But then I would have change it to 1✨. And that's to lass whom was playing on massive gong in the background. And I thought if she can stay awake so can I. Musicians did amazing job. Deffo 5start for them. Rest? God forbid I'll ever go there again.

Established in 1865, ZOO Wrocław is dedicated to the conservation of endangered species and houses thousands of animals. Visitors can purchase souvenirs such as exotic animal mascots, souvenir medals available in vending machines near major attractions, and unique greeting cards dating back to the late nineteenth century. The zoo offers an opportunity for fun and educational interactions with a wide variety of wild animals, including different species of birds and predatory animals.
The Wrocław Zoo is absolutely amazing. The territory is huge, beautifully maintained, and full of animals from all around the world. One of the highlights is definitely the Afrykarium (aquarium) – breathtaking and worth the visit on its own. I spent about 4 hours walking through the entire area and covered roughly 8 km – that’s how big and impressive it is! There are plenty of toilets and food courts, which makes the visit convenient, especially for families. Prices for food and extras are on the higher side, but it’s definitely worth it for such a unique experience. For parents: renting a children’s wheeled cart costs 30 zł per day, which can be very helpful. Overall, an unforgettable experience and one of the top attractions in Wrocław. Highly recommended for everybody
Maritime B — Google review
I visited Wrocław Zoo on two separate occasions in September 2025 in order to make the most of my time in the city and the weather. I visit zoos across the world in order to photograph their animals, and would consider the one in Wrocław among the best. The zoo is well laid out, with many indoor houses and outdoor enclosures for species across the animal kingdom. The houses that most impressed me were the Terrarium (for reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates) and the Afrykarium for African fauna. The Terrarium is laid out over two floors (unfortunately not accessible to wheelchairs) and contains around 100 exhibits for animals ranging from tiny insects to crocodiles and giant tortoises. All of these are appropriate in size and conditions for their inhabitants. Many of the animals here can only be seen here in Europe, including some tiny colourful geckos from the Indian Ocean. I spent several hours in here on my two visits, photographing all the animals I could see. The Afrykarium takes you on a journey through the continent and its waters. The only deviation from this theme was to replace the rare African manatees with their slightly more common Caribbean relative, of which I could see five individuals swimming in their tank. Other inhabitants include penguins, fur seals, sharks, hippopotamus, aardvarks, and elephant shrews. The building is accessible to wheelchairs with a few elevators, but one was out of service on my visit. Other notable exhibits include the bird house, with its many rare species, Pallas’s cats, and olive baboons. Overall I recommend a visit to anyone interested in birds, endangered species, unusual reptiles, or just animals in general.

Truly amazing experience! The Wrocław Zoo is much bigger than I expected and incredibly well kept. You can really see that the animals are healthy, well fed, and properly cared for — everything feels very natural and clean. There are so many different species to see, and the Afrykarium is just breathtaking! The only small downside is that not every section has English translations, but honestly, it didn’t stop us from enjoying it at all. It’s a wonderful place for both kids and adults — definitely one of the best zoos I’ve ever visited. Highly recommended!
Emil T — Google review
Great value for ticket cost, 176zł (£36.05 for x2 ticket, £18 per person). So many animals, a lot to see, indoor aquarium was amazing and tunnel under the sharks and rays was a highlight. Hot dogs from cafe at beginning were great, little expensive compared to other places (48zł for x2 hot dogs, x1 cola, x1 water, £8.82. Each hot dog at 12zł (£2.45) compared to 8.99zł (£1.84) for hot dogs and cola bottle elsewhere). Gift shop closed hour before zoo closed so missed out on getting any items from there sadly
Olive S — Google review
I absolutely loved my visit to the Wrocław Zoo! It’s one of the most beautiful and well-organized zoos I’ve ever been to. The animals look healthy and well cared for, and the enclosures are clean and spacious. The Afrykarium is a must-see — it feels like stepping into another world! 🐠🐧 There are plenty of places to relax, grab a snack, and enjoy the atmosphere. Perfect for families, couples, or just a peaceful walk surrounded by nature and animals. Highly recommend visiting! 🌿🐘🦓

Great ZOO with quite a long history! I'd especially recommend pavilon with manatees (there is not very many places to see those in Europe) and very nice terrarium. There is an underground parking nearby, so you can leave your dog in the car without worries even if it's hot outside. Very worth visiting once you are in Wroclaw!

When in Wroclaw, a must-visit is the medieval Market Square, one of the largest squares in Europe at almost 3.8 hectares. Surrounded by charming historic tenement houses, it's a vibrant and gorgeous venue day or night. The square features Poland's tallest city hall with a 66-meter-high tower, a precious monument worth seeing. Additionally, visitors can find great service for changing tires at competitive prices with efficient and friendly staff who speak English well.
They supplied me with a new set of tyres at a competitive price. The changing was quick and painless for me. I don't speak a lot of Polish, but their English was good enough. Church
Located in the Old Town of Wroclaw, the Cathedral of St. Mary Magdalene is a striking architectural marvel dating back to the 14th century. Constructed primarily with brick, this cathedral boasts an intricately adorned portal on its southern wall, which was salvaged from a Benedictine abbey in Olbin and integrated into the structure in 1546.
A fascinating cathedral, which is high 45 metres. The entrance fee is around €4.50. There is no elevator, only stairs, but walkable is 6-7 minutes to the top.
Lyuboslav G — Google review
The Legend of Penities Bridge. ⛪️ The Cathedral of St. Mary Magdalene owes its current shape to the fourteenth-century reconstruction in the spirit of "Wrocław Gothic". In 1481, the slender, high towers, covered with pointed, so-called spire-shaped domes, were completed. At the height of the fifth floor, they were connected by a characteristic bridge. The townspeople began to circulate stories about strange sounds coming from above. Apparently, late passers-by heard groans and the rustle of brooms sweeping the floor at night. Mothers began to scare their wayward daughters, who were not eager to get married, with girls doing penance on the bridge, who preferred fun and the carefree life of a maiden to the duties of a wife and housewife. They died without ever experiencing marriage and as a punishment they will clean the bridge between the towers for eternity. We can find a similar motif in Part II of Mickiewicz's "Dziady". Among the ghosts summoned by Guślarz there appears the specter of a girl who liked to seduce and make boys fall in love with her, but she did not give her hand to any of them. As a punishment, she could not find peace after death, wandering the earth as a soul doing penance. The bridge connecting the towers was destroyed at the end of the war. It was rebuilt in 2001. If the penance of the reckless girls has not yet come to an end, cleanup should begin soon. Me and my bf visiting in the penitents bridge. The mysterious bridge. One of the tourist spot here in wroclaw.

It’s quite a walk to get up to the top but the view is definitely worth it. There’s also a number of places you can stop on the way up. Catch your breath. And learn a little more about the cathedral. A must see while you’re in Wrocław.

Very calming and soothing church with no murals oflr fresco. Church doesn't seem old, but it's few hundred years old. It was quite empty on a Sunday afternoon. There's a tower that's 16 floors up for a fee but no elevator. Music concerts in the evening. They had bones and skulls of people of importance too.

A fantastic place, a temple in which silence and peace reign in the soul. He is alive. Although most tourist destinations lose this option. I really liked it, and the main thing is that services are held there, there is an organ, like in most Catholic churches. Reconstruction works were being carried out in the temple during my visit, but it is the burden of all historical objects to be forever under reconstruction. The observation deck also impressed me very much. I recommend.

The Monument to the Victims of World War I stands as a poignant tribute to the residents of Redzin (formerly Ransern) near Wroclaw who lost their lives during the conflict. Although it suffered damage during WWII, this well-preserved structure has undergone significant restoration and refurbishment in recent years. Crafted from sturdy Strzegom granite, its impressive form is accentuated by antique gas lanterns that illuminate it beautifully at night.

Sights & Landmarks
The Millennium Bridge is for sure a fascinating piece of architecture. A treat to watch from a distance but you can sneak underneath the neon lit bridge (at night) by the Marina side. The stunning riverfront, lush green, plenty of quiet except for the passing vehicles over your head, and a fascinating view of HotSpot Beach Bar in front makes it a lovely space to spend your summer evenings. If you're lucky you can see fishes jumping out of the water, otters swimming, fishermen catching fish, boats and ferries running back and forth, and a lively beachbar filled with amazing people of the city relishing evening. Offbeat and nice. Loved being there
