Page's Okra Grill is a lively eatery that offers generous portions of casual Southern-focused home cooking all day long. Located conveniently for visitors in downtown Charleston and Mount Pleasant, it's the go-to spot for authentic Southern cuisine east of the Cooper River. The menu is extensive, featuring lowcountry favorites like Country Fried Steak, Shrimp and Grits, Southern Fried Chicken Livers, and Fried Oysters.
We visited on a Tuesday afternoon right after checking into our hotel and there was no wait. There is an option to sit outdoors or indoors, but we opted to eat in because it was hot and humid. The staff was very hospitable and made sure we were enjoying our meal and had everything we needed. The portions were huge and very satisfying. I went with the seafood platter and it was really good, but when they brought out the orders of hot fried chicken it looked mouth watering and everyone said it was delicious. The fried shrimp and crab cake was my favorite part of the platter. The red rice was just okay but the fried okra was good. The fish was also just okay and I would’ve been satisfied with extra shrimp and the crab cake. The coleslaw was also really good. Definitely a great value for your money and family friendly. We were full for the rest of the evening. I would most definitely recommend and come back.

Had a wonderful meal here on a Saturday evening! Went out with the parents and the dog and Pages surpassed all my expectations. Troy was a great server and made the necessary changes to serve us better. Lots of seating indoor and out, and accommodating for dogs. They were out of a lot of draft beers but Troy gave us a recommendation for a tangerine beer by Sycamore (I think) and it was great! Grouper bites as an app were delicious and paired with a perfect sauce! I do think that $15 for an appetizer is quite high but it was delicious none the less. Everyone loved their meals and portions were very fair. We got a variety of dishes. The Pages seafood pasta was everything I dreamed of in a white sauce! The chicken and waffles were fantastic, and the pimento bacon fries were the angel on top of the Christmas tree. Please excuse my glazing, but we really enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere. Will definitely be back!!

We loved everything about this restaurant. From the hostess to our server to the food. I had Page's Famous Chicken & Waffles which was amazingly delicious. It's a savory waffle with bits of cheddar, corn, chorizo & jalapeño (but it wasn't spicy). The fried chicken breasts were flattened and easy to eat. My husband had Shrimp & grits which he absolutely loved. The grits are formed into cakes and then fried. The shrimp were perfectly cooked and the grave was a light and creamy type instead of the usual brown type. Neither if us could finish our meals although we tried. Our server, Taylor, was outstanding!
Judy K — Google review
Amazing food! We got the classic Charleston seafood platter with a side of mac and cheese and okra fries and hushpuppies. Hushpuppies were small like just 2 balls the size of munchkins, but had flavor. The rest of the entree was deep fried goodness with lots of flavor in the batter. We also got the bass entree and the shrimp that came with that entree was so mouthwatering good, I will think about them every-time I have shrimp now. The carrot cake was huge. This was one of our most expensive meals during this trip but it was totally and completely worth it. They had so much indoor and outdoor seating. If you’re out of town, this is great.

We’ve eaten here several times and enjoyed every meal. This is a great take on southern food without the meals feeling overly heavy. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere of the restaurant is really nice. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this place.

Man the hosts Are so friendly. Then you walk in and it smells divine. You want to order everything. It was just my husband and I. I came to Charleston for my birthday and decided to stay over here in Mount Pleasant. The manager at Hampton Inn suggested for some good food to come and was not disappointed. Thank you. WiFi needs help I wanted to review while sitting there.

We stopped in for lunch and ordered a basic smash burger and a steak ribeye sandwich. The burger was tasty with a generous amount of sauteed onions and cheese. The steak sandwich was a bit fatty and a bit of a disappointment. Service was very good and atmosphere ok. Hard to evaluate a place when only ordered a basic type of hamburger and generic steak sandwich. Maybe the classic Southern dishes are a better choice here.

We are out of towners and have been here twice before 4 years ago. This time were visiting with my whole family for my birthday dinner. Chase was our server and he couldn't have been more personable. The food was amazing, just like last time. Prices are great for the portions. I highly recommend the fried okra and fried chicken. They also gave me a free dessert for my birthday. The chocolate chess pie was to die for. The whole experience was so enjoyable. We always come back here when we go on vacation in this area. It has such a down home local country vibe. We absolutely love it!

Red's Ice House is a casual waterfront spot located on historic Shem Creek in Charleston, South Carolina. The restaurant offers ample patio space with views of the water, making it an ideal place to enjoy the scenery and watch activities such as kayaking and dolphin sightings. The menu features standard fried seafood fare, sandwiches, burgers, and refreshing drinks. One of its highlights is the elevated 'tree house' rooftop bar that provides a charming setting to savor local seafood while taking in scenic Charleston sunsets.
The place doesn't look like much but the roasted oysters were so good I had to order 6 more. My wife had grilled shrimp which were also good. We got there 5 minutes after opening at 11 am and they were half full already. In our 4 days in the Charleston area this place has the best roasted oysters.

Pros and cons for this restaurant. I am solo with a pet. I got there 10 minutes before they opened and let them know I was there. I then waited almost 20 minutes with no acknowledgement and eventually went to the bar asking to be seated. Once I was seated, the waitress was kind and attentive. She brought my pet a cup of ice cold water, but the water bowl outside where we waited was very dirty. The food was very good. My burger was a little pink and I realized I was never asked how I wanted it cooked. When the bill came for 2 daiquiris, a burger, fries and cucumber salad, it was $50!!!! I had seen the menu online where a daiquiri was $8 and is now apparently $13. The burger went up only a couple of dollars. The waitress stated that was an old menu but big increase either way. I didn't argue, I paid and tipped well because it's not the waitress' fault. The patio is covered with fans which is great for a pet because most outdoor seating is not covered and can get very hot. So...pros and cons but not sure I'll return.

We stumbled on this place when we were visiting Shem Boardwalk… Loved the food… Had the grouper sandwich. Grilled shrimp. French fries were delicious. The pineapple jalapeño coleslaw was great. The atmosphere was fabulous busy and the service was magnificent.

Waterfront dining, excellent service and great food! Reds is a true vacation feel! The house margarita was excellent and the crab cakes were wonderful! The low country boil could have used some seasoning but the portion sizes was perfect! Our server was friendly and energetic and prices were very reasonable too! The parking lot (paid) can get full due to the variety of restaurants around, however, we did a few circles and found a spot within a few minutes. Waterfront seating is first come first serve but the views were beautiful, especially during sunset. We loved Reds!

We had a really nice lunch here today. There was a little bit of a wait since they were very busy, but it was less than 15 mins. Once we were seated, our waitress was very attentive and our food came out quickly. I had the grouper sandwich and it was delicious. My fiance had their crab cake platter and enjoyed it. We'd definitely come back if/when we're in the area. It is a little expensive, but it's quality seafood too.

Nice outdoor bar. Highly recommend the BBQ bacon wrapped scallops and the Buffalo shrimp po boy. Both fresh and delicious!
Caden S — Google review
Red's is an awesome place to eat. I ordered the low country boil & the jalapeño hushpuppies. It was delicious. We waited about 40-45 min for a table. Our waitress was friendly. We will definitely go back when we are in the area again. The view is of Shem Creek & watching the boats go by. There are other restaurants there (Saltwater¹ Cowboys, Muddy's & some others). You can go for a walk on the Boardwalk. Walk down thru there, and you can see where Heyward's Seafood is (Outer Banks) & The Wreck (Kiara's parents restaurant on the show).

Meh. I was so excited for the crab cakes, and while they were all crab, they tasted like everything else on the plate as everything was covered with Old Bay type seasoning. The butter didn’t even taste like butter. Calamari appetizer was a good size portion, but nothing special. It all tasted premade and processed. Attention to detail was lacking - see photo. Waitress was nice but the kid who brought our food just tossed it on the table with a grunt and don’t bother me look.

New American restaurant

Family restaurant
Tavern & Table is a casual yet stylish restaurant located on the waterfront of Mount Pleasant's Shem Creek. It offers a locally sourced New American menu with a variety of options, including shareable snacks, cheese and meat boards, small plates, brick oven flatbreads, fresh-ground burgers, sandwich melts, and seafood and meat mains. The restaurant prides itself on its diverse selection of elevated cuisine prepared by Chef Katie Lorenzen-Smith.
Made a reservation and got sat immediately. If you order anything, you have to order the fire roasted oysters and burnt end mac and cheese. When I tell you those oysters were some of the best I have ever had… I thoroughly enjoyed the parmesan and bacon on them. The mac and cheese was decadent and rich and they were not stingy with the brisket on top. Great service as well. Highly recommend!

Fantastic spot right on the water during sunset, (we even saw Dolphins!). We loved the Roasted Brussels Sprouts, Dynamite Shrimp, Crab & Artichoke Dip, and Fire Roasted Oysters appetizers. Out of the group of six of us, we all decided the Sweet Corn + Leek Ravioli entree was the best out of everything else we got. The swordfish was close second, but other than that, nothing compared. The only disappointing part of the experience was the rude service. Our server did not write anything down and we didn't notice/care about that until she brought out the wrong items multiple times. For example, someone in my party pointed at the appetizers section on the menu and ordered the fire-roasted oysters. Plain oysters came out instead from a server assistant, then once we told our waitress (30 seconds later and untouched), she proceeded to tell us we were wrong and that we did not say the fire-roasted oysters originally, and gave us an attitude. We are a very easygoing group, but we did not appreciate the change in her service once he addressed a few incorrect drinks and food swaps. However, the atmosphere and food still made this a great dinner spot!
Kelsey C — Google review
The burger is the best item on the menu!!! Don't waste your time. Plenty of restaurants in the area to choose from. Don't let the location fool you. The service was awesome. The flatbed was soggy. The steak had a weird flavor and the temp we asked for was medium, came to the table rare. Tough!!! Let's just say, skip it.
Belinda F — Google review
TLDR: The only thing worth the price (during lunch) was thir amazing Dynamite shrimp. Cocktails weren't great, service is good. Expensive and TBH not worth the price during lunch (other than the FANTASTIC Dynamite shrimp appetizer). Perhaps it's better quality during dinner? The scenery is nice, as in the atmosphere being nice and close to the water. The view being blocked mostly by thick dark pieces of wood was disappointing when they could have easily replaced that with something thinner and sturdy, but all in all a good atmosphere. Service was great, the waiter frequently asked about if there was anything that he could get us and was kind. Two appetizers, two entrees, two drinks, $130 with 22% tip...
Michael K — Google review
Our late lunch here was very good. Nice beer selection, the ahi tuna poke bowls were delicious, the dolphin appearances were a bonus. Our service was just ok, unfortunately.
Judi H — Google review
First time visiting. All I can say is AMAZING!! We were seated quickly inside by the window. Came during Sunday brunch. Atmosphere was very relaxing and chill. Our server, Milen Kostov from Bulgaria was on top of great service. He was very informative, knowledgeable, about the menu. We had the shrimp and grits which was savory, spicy and flavorful. And also the Smoked salmon on toast which was filling and delicious. A total 5 star! You won't be disappointed!
Rhonda J — Google review
I came to eat here for the first time and was really looking forward to the experience. I ordered a dozen oysters on the half shell, the artichoke crab dip, and the Bolognese. The oysters were very fresh and delicious, easily the highlight of the meal. The artichoke crab dip was also surprisingly good. I wasn’t sure how those flavors would mix together, but it ended up being really tasty and full of flavor. Unfortunately, the Bolognese was where I was most let down. The sauce was very heavy and not what I expected. The pasta was also slightly undercooked, which made it less enjoyable overall. The person I was with and I split the entrée, and as shown in the photo, there is a clear before and after comparison showing how little we ate before deciding to stop because neither of us liked it. The service was also disappointing. Our server greeted us, brought our drinks and food, and later brought the check, but there was no real engagement beyond that. He never came back to check if we liked our food, which would have been helpful with the Bolognese since we would have gladly tried something else had we been checked on. The plate sat in front of us for about 20 minutes untouched before the server returned to ask if we were finished. We let him know we didn’t like the dish, but instead of asking what was wrong, offering something different, or trying to make it right, he simply said “okay” and took the plate away. When the check came, I was surprised to see that the Bolognese was still included on the bill, even though we had barely touched it and clearly expressed that we didn’t like it. As someone who also works as a server, I know how important it is to show care for the guest’s experience and at least attempt to make it right. It was disappointing to see that kind of service here. Overall, I was pleased with the oysters, the dip, and the drinks, but the main course and service experience were not up to the standard I expected. I’m sharing this in a constructive way, not to be malicious, and have chosen not to include the server’s name out of respect. I hope this feedback helps the restaurant improve, because the food that was good was really good, and the place has potential to offer a great overall dining experience with a bit more attention to detail and guest care.
Seabass — Google review
A group of six of us sat for brunch last weekend and it was lovely! I particularly wanted to leave a review for the service. Though I didn't get our server's name, he made great, timely service look easy and approachable and it did not go unnoticed. As a first time visitor I look forward to coming back and sitting on the deck next time!

Seafood restaurant
Restaurant
The Wreck of the Richard & Charlene is a casual seafood restaurant located in Mount Pleasant's Old Village, known for its picturesque creek views and simple yet delicious Lowcountry-style fried seafood. The restaurant's name pays homage to a trawler that was thrown ashore during Hurricane Hugo in 1989. Despite its shabby exterior, the kitchen serves up Southern favorites like boiled peanuts, fried shrimp, and stone-crab claws.
If you’re chasing the real deal when it comes to fried shrimp, The Wreck of Richard and Darlene is it. No frills, no fuss — just perfectly golden, lightly battered shrimp done right. • Shrimp: Local, fresh, and fried to crispy perfection without being greasy. Salty, sweet, briny — everything lowcountry seafood should be. • Atmosphere: Casual waterfront vibes with just enough grit to remind you you’re in a working harbor, not a tourist trap. • Service: Friendly, fast, and no-nonsense. • Bonus: Cold beer, hush puppies that slap, and sunsets that feel like a reward. Come for the shrimp, stay for the vibe. This place delivers exactly what it promises — a five-star local experience.
Ted S — Google review
Only went here to take pictures because of watching the show the Outer Banks. Definitely looks like an Old school local restaurant. And a really cool fishing boat named the Playboy. I wish we could have eaten there but it didn't open until 5:00.
Don E — Google review
If you’re anywhere near Charleston, you must visit The Wreck of the Richard & Charlene. It doesn’t get more authentic than this — right on the water, laid-back atmosphere, and some of the freshest seafood you’ll ever taste. We had the shrimp and scallops, and both were absolutely perfect. Cooked just right, and seasoned with what I can only describe as their signature house herb mix — subtle, aromatic, and spot on. The shrimp come straight from the local fisherman next door, who also sells fresh seafood. Seriously, bring a cooler — eat first, then walk over and grab some fresh-off-the-boat shrimp for home. The vibe is super relaxed: yes, you’re eating on paper plates, but who cares when the food is this good? Honestly, I’ll take flavorful and real over fancy and forgettable any day. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. Pro tip: come at sunset. The view is unreal — golden light over the marshes, boats swaying in the harbor… it’s pure coastal magic. Fun fact: several scenes from the Netflix series Outer Banks were filmed right here, and once you’re there, you’ll see why. Highly recommend. We’d come back in a heartbeat. This is one of those rare spots that gets everything right — from the food, to the setting, to the soul.
Julian D — Google review
I had been wanting to eat here. We came for dinner around 6:45 and I was disappointed that we couldn’t eat outside. It was a beautiful sunny day with a gorgeous sunset. Not too hot and humid. Honestly perfect night. You can have a drink outside but couldn’t eat dinner. We waited about 15 min for a table. We were seated. Friendly service. Ordered drinks and we ordered a play seafood platter and a triple combination (grilled). Big portions. Seafood and hush puppies were good. Rice was over salted. It’s nothing to write home about on the inside, I guess that’s where Wreck comes into play. But service, once we were seated was good and on point.
Sabine M — Google review
It was closed with a short note on the door. They could have saved me a trip from West Ashley by putting it on their website which I visited several times prior to coming over. The building wasn’t in very good condition. The chairs and tables were ragged. There was a good parking lot- if only. This was a location that the OBX were filmed so came here with a big group for dinner- but they were closed.
Cindy S — Google review
This is truly an amazing and delightful place! The food is all fresh and caught from Shem Creek! It is a little pricy and the service is quick but not that quick! The food and atmosphere is amazing and a lovely view of Shem Creek! The video attached is there amazing rice!

9/10/25 Interesting entrance…the restaurant was clean and funky. Meal served on paper plates. Our waitress was excellent and attentive. The shrimp was so fresh and delicious. Ice tea was cold and delicious. You can see the fishing boats coming and going. Try the key lime bread pudding! We enjoyed our meal at this funky place.

I grew up on shem creek so I am a little biased but, this is how seafood is supposed to be. The service staff and kitchen are amazing. This is the ultimate seafood experience. They serve true local shrimp and it says it right on the front door, "we get our shrimp from next door". A most when visiting Charleston, pay with cash and save yourself some $$. This is were we film OBX so teenagers will love it.

Known for its fantastic water views, locally sourced seafood, live music, and vibrant atmosphere, it's a favorite among locals seeking a waterfront dining experience.
Went here after a kayaking tour and this place was the highlight of our trip! First of all the view of the water is stunning! We saw so many dolphins while we were eating! I had the BEST trash can nachos of my life. Get the smoked turkey it was so juicy and flavorful. Their sweet tea was also one of the best we tried all trip! I also got the chopped salad with shrimp and it was just enough food to split with my mom. Our waiter was wonderful! I give this place 10/10!

This place has it all!! First of all I've visited twice so far and each time my family was treated very well. My son is handicapped and they were able to accommodate our seating for him. The food is soooo good!! My son has had the cowboy burger and sweet potato fries each time we came. He gorges himself until he can't eat another bite. (He's 4) I got the brisket and smoked wings. Both are very good but I've got to say the brisket is DeEeEe- licoius!! I'm not normally a Brisket person but theres something about this that is just (Italian miss)! The collard greens are very good as well. As we were in our way out another group of women was suggesting to try the coconut cake next time. They mentioned it was so big all 3 of them are off of it and it was the best they have had- just putting that here for someone wanting to know what to get for desert. Oh and the view.... Amazing! I will say that if you come in the evening during sunset the upstairs dining area gets pretty warm from the sun beaming through the windows. (Hopefully they can add some fans at some point) We're going to be in the area for a few more days and will definitely be back!!!

Highly recommend this Gem of a place. If you love sitting outside with a view of the water and boats passing, this is a must visit. The special cocktail 🍹, the seafood appetizer and meals were all A+. Can't say enough about the place and there is plenty of room out on the deck to set. The wait staff were friendly, checked on us several times and even brought my son's family dog water, a snack and scarf for her neck. 2 out of 10, they get a 14 !!!!

Great place to eat! Right on the water, great staff. The nachos look great-wish we had ordered them. The brussel sprouts were amazing. I had the creek bowl-filled with great stuff but lacking in flavor. The pulled pork and brisket tacos were really good.

The view and service was amazing! The drinks were great. The food was good. The trashcan nachos were a great presentation. The chips do tend to get soggy pretty quick. A suggestion would be to maybe have a little bit of the chips on the outside the can to have some solid chips. The brussel sprouts were my hands down favorite. The fried green tomatoes were well done & the sauce was a wonderful balance. The shrimp were perfectly cooked & the sauce had a great balance of spicy and sweet.

Brooklyn & Madison got us the perfect table at the bay, & Carter our waiter was spot on with great service. The music group Relay Relay played wonderful, to set a perfect sunset evening. Highly recommended this place. The Smoked wings were the best.

Great dog friendly restaurant. We were seared quickly even with a line, food was good, but service was a little slow. They were very busy though, so I cant complain. Staff was very inviting and they even have a "dog menu" not to mention the drinks and view were fantastic

Shem Creek, located in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, is a vibrant hub offering various activities for visitors. Historically a shrimping village, it has evolved into a lively area with waterfront dining, paddle boarding, and stunning sunsets. Renting kayaks is a popular way to explore the creek and its surroundings. The area also boasts an eclectic collection of restaurants, shops, and a marsh walk that make for great photo opportunities.
Beautiful sunset view over the water, great restaurants, great atmosphere, tons of parking (but you have to pay for it … lame). Love to go here and just hang out!

Love Shem creek. It has a fabulous walkway through the marsh and out to the ocean. Watch dolphins and beautiful wildlife. Magical
Darcy R — Google review
Shem Creek is hands‑down one of my favorite spots in the Lowcountry! That’s saying something in a place packed with postcard views. Whether you’re a first‑timer or a regular, there’s always something new to see, shoot, or taste out here. The minute you step onto the wooden boardwalks and look down the creek toward Charleston Harbor, you’ll understand why Hollywood keeps sneaking back. (Fun fact: several scenes from Outer Banks were filmed right here—so if the view feels familiar, that’s why) Shrimp trawlers drift by with brown pelicans riding shotgun, marsh grasses glow gold at sunset, and dolphins pop up often enough that locals barely flinch anymore. Bring binoculars if you’re into wildlife; bring a big memory card if you’re into photography. I come back all the time and still fill up SD cards by the end of the golden hour. As a photographer, I love how the light bounces off the water and those weathered boats. Early mornings give you calm, glassy reflections; late afternoons paint the sky pink and orange behind the Ravenel Bridge. Even on cloudy days, the shrimp boats, crab traps, and tangled ropes make for moody maritime shots. There are elevated overlooks, hidden nooks on side docks, and plenty of spots to set up a tripod without blocking foot traffic. When the stomach growls, you’re spoiled for choice. Saltwater Cowboys is my go‑to for smoked wings and a rooftop view; Tavern & Table nails Lowcountry comfort with shrimp and grits that might ruin you for life; and Red’s Ice House keeps it casual with cold beer, live music, and “boat‑watching” seats right on the creek. The best part? If you want to hop between appetizers at one place, mains at another, and sunset cocktails somewhere else, it’s all a few board‑planks apart. Not just a stroll‑and‑eat destination: outfitters rent kayaks and paddleboards if you want to slide past the shrimp fleet at water level (sunrise paddles are unreal). Charter boats run sunset cruises and inshore fishing trips, too. If you’re traveling with kids, there’s enough boat traffic, wildlife, and ice‑cream‑within‑500‑feet to keep them happy for hours. Parking is free but fills fast on weekends—aim for before 10 a.m. or after 4 p.m. if you want an easy spot. The boardwalk is stroller‑ and wheelchair‑friendly, with plenty of benches and shade trellises to cool off in summer. Bug spray never hurts at dusk (marsh life, y’all), and a light jacket is smart once that harbor breeze kicks in. Shem Creek nails the trifecta: unbeatable Lowcountry scenery, top‑notch seafood, and enough photo ops to keep any camera junkie buzzing. I’ve visited more times than I can count, and every trip still hands me something Instagram hasn’t seen yet. If you’re anywhere near Charleston—or just binge‑watched Outer Banks and want to walk the set—make Shem Creek your next stop. Five stars, every time.

Shem Creek is such a gem in the Charleston area! The views are absolutely unbeatable – especially at sunset when the whole creek lights up with boats, water reflections, and that classic Lowcountry sky. The boardwalk is perfect for a walk, and we even spotted dolphins while we were there. Tons of great restaurants line the water, all with a fun, laid-back vibe and fresh seafood. Whether you’re grabbing a drink, going for a kayak ride, or just enjoying the view, this is one of those can’t-miss Charleston experiences.

Please understand this place stays packed! Food is good and everyone here is usually there for the drinks! Food is closed after 11pm and only drinks are served! You will see dolphins in the canal which is AMAZING! you also might see the OBX crew ( I didn’t 🥺)

Walking the boardwalk and watching the pelicans dive for food was a highlight of my trip! It's a lively area with much to do. The visitor signs along the boardwalk gave great info on this areas history and wildlife.

Boone Hall Plantation & Gardens is a historic working plantation that has been growing crops for over 320 years. It is famous for its moss-draped Avenue of Oaks and original slave cabins, offering visitors a glimpse into the South's rich history. The plantation has gained popularity as a filming location for movies like The Notebook and Forrest Gump, as well as being the site of Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds' wedding.
INFORMATIVE AND HUMBLING. Great visit. Everyone was so friendly and professional and a warm welcome in the visitor center. MARK gave a great tour of the house and his wife HEATHER of life at the plantation. Please make time for the GULLAH talk. It’s truly humbling as the modern generation of the slaves that were abducted from Africa tell of the trip to the USA and how they settled in arduous conditions. The cafe staff were friendly and the pimento cheese sandwich was delicious. In summary, picturesque and great value.

Great place to spend the afternoon exploring history and enjoying a beautiful property. We took the 20 minute tour of the main house and the 30 minute wagon ride through the grounds, both of which were very enjoyable. We brought our one year old along and found it helpful to know that strollers are not permitted inside the main home. We left ours at the entrance until the tour and wagon ride were finished. The oak trees lining the entrance are absolutely breathtaking and set the tone for the visit. I also recommend tuning your radio to the advertised FM station as you enter to hear interesting background information about the property.
Andrew L — Google review
We only had the time to visit one plantation home while in Savannah and I chose to visit Boone Hall over the others because of the live presentations they offer, beautiful garden and infamous drive up to the house - which was absolutely breathtaking! There are many places on the property for photo opps and you truly have a day’s worth of activities to choose from. If going just to tour an old plantation home this probably isn’t the place for you as you are only allowed on the lower level of the house and the tour is rather quick. An informative ride around the property is included, as well as several live presentations/talks. Everything is very well organized and visiting doesn’t require too much walking. All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend!
Ell T — Google review
Great day spent here. Ticket price includes all tours, which was nice. It was a beautiful day to spend outdoors. All the staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The Gullah presentation was interesting, the house was full of antiques and the gardens were full of life. Butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds
Karen M — Google review
This was a recommended plantation tour from our hotel and I highly recommend it as well. That incredible history starts when you first pull in under a canopy of oak trees that are over 300 years old. You’ll recognize them from the movies. We took one of the Tractor tours throughout the property and the friendly tour guide gave us all the Rich history of the plantation from the past 400 years which was fascinating. They have a little restaurant and convenience store on the property plus a gift shop. I recommend touring through the slave homes and learning many different facets of life during that period. They insightfully and respectfully took you through history while also honoring so many. The mansion tour was rather interesting also - learning about the several plantation owners’ stories. Take a moment to tour the gardens (floral and butterfly) that help complete this great landmark.

Boone Hall Plantation has been one of the highlights of our trip (2025). With the government shutdown of national parks, we've been forced to seek out state and privately-operated attractions. When I Googled "best southern plantations to visit," Boone Hall Plantation was #1! After visiting, I wholeheartedly agree. The cost is reasonable. Admission includes entrance, parking, the house tour, a wagon ride through the estate, various presentations on historical topics, plus time to wander about. (Personally, the presentation on Gullah culture was my favorite.) Whatever your interest is in plantation life, you will not be disappointed. The staff members are fantastic! They are knowledgeable, courteous, and inject well-timed humor in their interactions with the guests. You are able to experience as little or as much of life at Boone Hall as you wish. A bit of advice: as soon as you arrive, go to the guest center. Speak to the representative at the desk and (s)he will schedule you on the next available tour. Fortunately, we just happened to do this and began our house tour within 20 minutes of arrival. Also, a bit of walking is involved. Walking on sandy paths is not easy for everyone. Boone Hall is a must see!

I've visited three different plantations in the Charleston South Carolina area and by far this is my favorite. Take me to this is still a working farm but I expect tourism breaks in most of their dollars. Regardless in this place at least they have most of the original plantation buildings. They also have a lot of brief informational speakers that give you a background of both the plantation and the history of the area for the 400 years or so this plantation has been in existence. Regardless this place is beautiful so if you're in the area I highly recommend stopping by and checking it out.

Best plantation we've visited in Charleston. Very interesting history. The tractor ride through the acreage was the best part giving the history from the beginning to present.

Sights & Landmarks
The Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge is a stunning architectural marvel that gracefully spans the Cooper River, linking Downtown Charleston to Mount Pleasant. Completed in 2005, this iconic cable-stayed bridge replaced older structures and boasts one of the longest main spans in the Western Hemisphere at an impressive 471 meters. Its striking triangular arches are beautifully illuminated at night, creating a picturesque scene for evening strolls or bike rides along its dedicated lanes.
My wife and i decided to walk across the bridge early Friday morning. What a fun and enjoyable walk. The temperature was a little cool in the morning but once we got our heart rate up we were fine. We were greeted by pretty much everyone we came across with much friendliness.

Beautiful designed bridge that connects Charleston to Mt. Pleasant. There’s a walk path that goes the length of the bridge. Best part is no toll.

Brilliant design which stands out in the distance of the Charleston skyline. However, what makes this bridge really unique is the public footpath for walking, running and cycling. Well worth a jog over.

I once drove our public school bus across the old Cooper River bridge to deposit it in Mount Pleasant for the summer, from Summerville - I was in the 11th grade! Times have changed, and so has the bridge. Both are beautiful in their own way!
Pastor D — Google review
An interesting and beautiful walk. For much of it, because you don't see the piers and you sense some movement due to traffic, it feels like you are walking on a floating concrete path.

We got to see this bridge from The battery as we watched the sunrise. It’s in the distance but what a beautiful bridge

Great bridge walk, run, ride. Only entered from the north side. Lots of free parking underneath. Supposed to be walkers one one lane, bikes in other. Lots of people have problems with that concept.

Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum, located in Charleston Harbor, is a must-visit destination for history enthusiasts. The museum features the USS YORKTOWN, a World War II aircraft carrier, along with a destroyer and submarine that visitors can explore year-round. Established by the Patriots Point Development Authority in the 1970s, this museum offers an immersive experience where visitors can learn about America's naval history, traditions, and core values.
It was a great museum. Especially captain exclusive room was interesting. I bought captain’s Guided tour, I highly recommend visitor to buy it. Because you can look around something special spots for whom bought the Captain’s tour. Flight deck area was spectacular. There was a short documentary movie you can watch in theatre spot.

We visited Patriots Place on a Sunday, which happened to be Father's Day! I was expecting large crowds, but it's so big with so much to see that it didn't feel crowded at all. The ship is amazing. There were lots of captain staircases involved. They do have an elevator if you can not do them. However, it is small. In the Medal of Honor exhibit, there were a lot of interactive things for kids, like seeing how cold their metal cups would get overnight, seeing if you could do pull-ups and how heavy a rucksack felt. Off the boat, we saw two dolphins playing in the water, which enhanced the trip. My favorite part was surely the Vietnam War experience. Make sure you follow the wooden boardwalk and go into all the trailers to watch the videos (even kids will like them, i promise). I loved the hologram soldiers and how the trailer vibrated during the realistic war scenes. Staff were all helpful and friendly. They have plenty of bathrooms available on the main floor of the ship and some outside the gift shop. I was not prepared for the parking to be prepared, which I was a little disappointed by, but still a great trip nonetheless.

I had a great time exploring the U.S.S. Yorktown! I decided to add the Captain’s Tour to my tour experience and it was well worth it. My tour guide, Dan Bommarito, did a fantastic job making the tour entertaining, enlightening and all around more enjoyable for everyone in the group. As a marine, it was great to hear about the history of the ship from the perspective of a fellow Devil Dog. I look forward to taking my kids next time I go!
Josh S — Google review
We visited both the Yorktown and the fort Sumter exhibits during our 1-day visit. It is reasonable to visit both in the same day if you get an early start, like by 10am. The ferry took us to Ft Sumpter and we stayed just about an hour there. At the fort there was no food drink or bathrooms, but the ferry had those on board. It was well worth the trip. After returning, we took in the Yorktown. It was well worth worth the 3 hours that we spent on board. We did not do a guided tour but we were able to see all the placards and got a good sense of the ship. Just be aware that there are a lot of steps/ ladders involved, but I think if you're reasonably able to negotiate them you would have a good time.
Raymond B — Google review
A Great Family Outing! This is a fantastic place to visit with the family. Be prepared for plenty of walking and several steps throughout the ship — but that's all part of the experience. One highlight was the impressive Vietnam War dedication area, which was both educational and engaging for the kids. A meaningful and memorable visit for all ages!
Hannah H — Google review
This place was amazing! We took the ferry to Fort Sumtner and toured both the ships. My kids loved seeing the planes and helicopters on the air craft carrier. We spent about 4 hours total here and even saw some dolphins hanging out right next to the ships
Katherine B — Google review
Patriots Point is a must-visit for anyone interested in American naval history. Anchored by the massive USS Yorktown (CV-10), the museum offers an immersive experience that’s both educational and deeply moving. Exploring the aircraft carrier—from its bridge to its hangars and flight deck—feels like stepping into living history. The collection of vintage aircraft, war rooms, and simulators is outstanding. Highlights include the USS Laffey, known as “The Ship That Would Not Die,” and the USS Clamagore submarine, each offering a unique glimpse into wartime life at sea. The exhibits are well-preserved, the setting dramatic, and the overall atmosphere powerful. Whether you’re a history buff or casual visitor, Patriots Point is an unforgettable experience that honors the service and sacrifice of America’s naval heroes.

We had a blast visiting the aircraft carrier. We had the Capitan's Tour with Paul. He was very knowledgeable and funny, showing us small things that would have been missed if we were on our own. Lots, let me say that again lots of walking, the ship is huge. The up and down stairs would be hard for someone with mobility issues but other wise definitely do this tour. Lots to take pictures of. The gift shop is awesome with really reasonable prices, I was surprised actually.

What a great place this is and they have great seating options. We went on a Friday evening after making reservations earlier in the day. The hostesses were very professional, even though being approached from all sides they remained calm and gracious. Our food was amazing, we weren’t rush at all and enjoyed our evening thoroughly. My husband and I picked this place to celebrate our anniversary while on vacation. It was AMAZING!! The food was DELICIOUS! We got the crab dip, bbq salmon, cajun pasta, and chocolate cake for dessert. It was all amazing. We had drinks with it all. The service was incredible! We sat right by the water and it was so peaceful. There was live music near by that we were able to enjoy also. We would absolutely eat here again!

This was the absolute best dining we experienced in Charleston while we were there. The only complaint i could have was the parking. Parking area was way too small and we checked out way before the 3 hr limit and was still being charged for parking when not even there.

We had an incredible dinner at Water’s Edge on Shem Creek. I ordered the Seafood Pasta with Cajun cream sauce — it was packed with flavor and absolutely delicious. My wife had the Ahi Tuna appetizer with a wedge salad, and both were excellent. The tuna was perfectly prepared, and the wedge salad was huge, with some of the best blue cheese dressing and crumbles we’ve ever had. The view made the experience even better — watching boats go by on Shem Creek and seeing the lights across the water created a perfect evening atmosphere. Great food, great vibe, and a great spot to relax and enjoy the Lowcountry. Highly recommend!

We went for food and atmosphere. Sat outside on the deck and ate. Listened to DJ down below from Muddy's and he was entertaining. The view with the river and other bars/restuarants was pretty. Food was good. Lots of us got fried shrimp and it was good.

I loved this place. I came here to eat oysters, since I saw that they serve oysters on Google Maps. Unfortunately, they weren't serving them and I didn't see them in the menu. The plate I ordered was a rice with seafood, a great option and a huge portion, I couldn't finish it. I had a draft beer, which was not cold enough to my taste. My waitress was super nice and attentive. The view I had from here was amazing. There are options for sitting inside, outside, and some nice windows with air conditioning available too. This is a very decent place for having a meal. A little expensive but I think it's worth it. It the tables and windows were cleaner it would be great! The parking system could be a little confusing. My advice is: park, have in mind your plate number, don't scan or pay anything before entering the restaurant, when you are in the restaurant they will provide you with a QR code where you have to enter your info and give you 3 hours of free parking.

Best Shem Creek View! Beautiful waterfront spot with amazing food and laid-back vibes! I had the Western Smash Burger and the Grilled Salmon BLT Sandwich—both were absolutely delicious. The burger was juicy with bold flavors, and the salmon was perfectly grilled, paired with crispy bacon and fresh greens. Great service and a relaxing view made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Mount Pleasant!

Definitely the calmer side of Shem Creek but with great views! We ate on the deck and the view was lovely as the sun was going down. The tables were nice and spaced out so we didn't feel like we were sitting on top of other people. Prices are fair and our server was very attentive and friendly. Definitely great service! I had the Ghost Melon Margarita and it was pretty good but didn't really have much spice flavor. We shared the Lowcountry Sauté over grits, which was a good choice because we didn't get overly stuffed. It was cranky and the flavor was good, just no "wow factor" with our meal, hence the 4⭐. It was supposed to be in a bourbon butter sauce but I couldn't taste any bourbon flavor. I'd go back simply for the atmosphere. Lovely deck!

As part of our visit to Isle of Palms beach and Shem Creek we called into Vickery’s for early dinner. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating with great views of the creek with its busy eateries and bars, lots of boats and people. Service was super friendly, attentive and fast. I had Cuban Sandwich with a side of Carolina red rice (my new favourite side!) and my partner had a smash burger with bacon and cheese with seasoned fries. Food was tasty and hot, not quite amazing but very nice - price is pretty much in line with most similar-type of grill bars. The atmosphere was great - we ate pretty early so it was fairly quiet when we arrived but it soon filled up - it had a great vibe about it, customers and staff all smiles. Would definitely visit again - perhaps next time I would try some seafood options as there were some nice dishes on the menu.

We (2) had dinner here on a Saturday night. They seated us pretty quickly, we sat in a booth by the bar to watch the game. The two bar tenders (a blond haired girl and a dark haired girl with glasses) that waited on us were great! They were super nice and attentive. Had a terrific dinner at the Red Drum. It has an interesting and varied menu. Everything is scratch made and the dishes we had, although mundane, were delicious! Our server, Katie H., was outstanding. Attentive, but not overly so, accommodating, pleasant, and efficient. We started with the chips and salsa. This comes with both a red and a green salsa. Both were so good we took whatever we had left home. They were tasty, tangy, and spicy. I had the wood grilled cheeseburger with sweet potato fries. I asked for it grilled medium well and it was perfect. It comes with lettuce, tomato, and onion. It was as good as the picture looks. My wife had the grilled chicken salad. I didn't have any, but she said it was excellent (and she's very trustworthy). Oh, and I had an Espresso Martini, also delicious. A little pricey at $80 (not including tax and tip), but considering we had an appetizer and a drink along with the quality of the food and the great service, I think worth it.

So, the prices are kind of crazy but the food, the food is exceptional. The French fries are, dare I say it, the best I have ever tasted (very yummy). The chicken is fantastic and the desserts are heavenly. So, if you are willing to pay the price, it is definitely worth it.

We ate here with 8 people and everyone loved the food. From kids quesadills to Pan Seared Sea Scallops, everything was delicious. It's a really nice atmosphere that feels different than most restaurants. Low light and old wooden doors make you feel like you are in a different time. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the Pan Seared Sea Scallops were the best Scallops I have ever had.

Great Father’s Day brunch experience after a tentative start. Though it took a good 15 minutes before our server arrived, she owned it and comp’d our dessert without us ever having to say a word! Great integrity! Mimosa and Bloody Mary to start with an appetizer of Fried Shrimp. Fresh and very lightly fried. Our entrées were Shrimp and Grits and Eggs Benedict followed by the house made doughnuts with caramel cream. Everything was prepared to perfection. Truly worth the visit.

Restaurant
Langdon's Restaurant & Wine Bar is a modern and upscale eatery in Mt. Pleasant, offering refined takes on classic Southern food and an acclaimed wine list. Since 2003, it has been a success among both locals and visitors, featuring a mix of international and regional flavors. The restaurant boasts a vast array of available labels including sauvignon blanc, pinot noir, and other favorites, earning it the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence.
Langdon’s is an absolute must-visit for anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience in Mount Pleasant! From start to finish, everything was top-tier—the ambiance, the service, and most importantly, the food. We started with the Seared Foie Gras and the Chef’s Inspired Oysters, both of which were simply outstanding. The foie gras was rich and buttery, perfectly complemented by its accompaniments, while the oysters were fresh and expertly prepared with bold, creative flavors. For my entrée, I had the Lamb Ribeye, and it was nothing short of perfection. Cooked to the ideal temperature, the ribeye was melt-in-your-mouth tender with a deep, savory flavor, enhanced by the delicious, creamy sauce. The sides—flavorful potatoes and crisp, fresh green beans—rounded out the dish beautifully. (See attached photo!) A huge shoutout to our server Eric, who took such great care of us throughout the evening. His attentiveness, menu knowledge, and friendly demeanor made our experience even better. It’s rare to find service this impeccable, and he truly made us feel welcome. The attention to detail at Langdon’s is outstanding, from the plating to the service. Every bite felt like a thoughtfully curated experience, making this one of the best meals I’ve had in Charleston. If you’re looking for an unforgettable fine dining experience, look no further. We will absolutely be back! .

Langdon’s Steakhouse is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, we were struck by how beautiful and inviting the seating area is—elegant, cozy, and perfect for a special night out. The staff were incredibly attentive and genuinely friendly, offering thoughtful recommendations that really hit the mark. Every dish we tried was absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. We left completely stuffed and completely satisfied. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience. We’ll definitely be back!

Good spot for a dinner, not my fav. Pork chop had good flavor, Mac n cheese & green beans were a bit bland, the pasta was good. The bread was actually pretty decent. The dessert was very yummy. overall not bad. Easy parking & nice staff.

Once again Langdons did not disappoint! This is my family's go to restaurant for birthdays. We dined at Langdons for my beautiful wife's birthday and everything we had was 5 stars across the board! I have said it many times over the years and I stand by my words again today, Langdons has THE BEST steak in all of Charleston. Don't be fooled into thinking that place on King St. is the best. If you want the best make a reservation at Langdons. You can thank me later!

Langdon's never disappoints. Great food and atmosphere. The tile fish is the absolute best fish dish in town but anything that you order from the menu will dazzle you. Food is prepared with fresh ingredients and usually locally caught/grown. The staff is superb and attentive. I have been going to Langdon's for 20 years and always have a fabulous meal. Try it and you will be glad you did!

Dunleavy's Pub, located on Sullivan's Island, is a local favorite and a staple in the area. This family-owned Irish bar offers a cozy cabin-like atmosphere and hosts weekly live folk, country, and acoustic music performances. Known for its great tap selections including Irish beer, chargrilled wings, and classic Reuben sandwiches, it has been serving the community for over 30 years.
My friends and I had a great time at this Irish pub. The drinks were good but the star of the show was the food. We had the lemon pepper grilled wings and the sliders and both were fantastic. The wings had a great char and the burgers were seasoned to perfection. 10/10 recommend

This place was awesome! I walked in to cool off from a hot beach and was greeted with a very attentive and caring server. The owner, Jamie, took the time to talk to me and made me feel welcomed. It was easy to understand why there was a crowd on a Wednesday during the day. Looking for good food and even better people? Definitely the place!!
Sydni H — Google review
Not a bad place, But possibly the least-Irish Irish pub I’ve ever been to. The sports flair or whatever you call the decorations were a bit much, but the Harp beer was cold enough. If you’re coming from the beach, it’s not a bad place to stop.

I can’t hate for being a fighting Irish bar.. The Smithwicks was good. The popcorn is great. The Reuben was ok.. the Teriyaki wings were the worst wings I have ever had in my entire life. I have never not asked for a box for wings ever. They need pulled from the menu

I ate before I arrived. The Guinness is fantastic. They do have wings half off M-F 4-7pm. I will be back.. Cash only..

An incredibly jolly Irish Pub in Charleston SC. The atmosphere was great and the staff was wonderful. I would like to see the menu add some more Irish Classics to the menu but what my wife and I got was delicious,(I got the Rueben and a Guinness and she got the cheese burger sliders). If you’re in the area, definitely stop by and experience a little bit of Ireland in Charleston!

Asked our waitress at high thyme where to go for a drink and she recommended dunleavy’s. She did not lead us astray! Solid Irish pub - very welcoming and friendly staff. Popcorn was a nice touch.

everything was great until we came back to get our purse we left behind on accident. Came back to retrieve after calling to let them know we were coming back to pick it up. One female worker at the bar looked at us like we were complete idiots and gave us the rudest looks and comments that were completely unnecessary. Example: “you should be grateful that we care enough to verify it was you first.”Get a different job if you can’t handle simple interactions with the public:)

NICO | Oysters + Seafood is an elegant seafood brasserie that offers a blend of French-inspired cuisine and market-fresh seafood. The restaurant, led by renowned Chef Nico Romo, presents a diverse menu featuring creatively prepared shellfish and seafood sourced from local providers. With its upscale yet welcoming ambiance, NICO showcases sleek steel exteriors and cozy interiors with wood paneling and exposed brick.
We had a delightful time here at NICO. We ordered drinks, oysters, entrées, and the crème brûlée dessert. The Wood-fired Napoleon oysters were just perfect! The lobster roll was exquisitely prepared — the best we’ve ever had. The crème brûlée was fired right in front of us to caramelize the sugar on top, and it tasted amazing. The bouillabaisse was alright — it was sparse on the seafood. We sat outside in the patio area. Other than a few mosquitos, it was a very pleasant experience sitting and enjoying our food and our company. I will definitely return to NICO in September for those oysters and that lobster roll!

What a great place: fabulous fresh oyster (served the way they should be: still attached and full of sea water), unusual quenelle (could use a tad of cayenne to enhance the taste) and a tasty peach tatin… Muscadef was very good too! Service was perfect: attentive and efficient!! We’ll be back!
Philippe M — Google review
It was a good dining experience. I sat at the bar and was taken care of fairly quickly and well during my visit. The cheese puffs were absolutely outstanding and remarkable. The Bouillabaisse was good - good variety of proteins and solid broth. It just felt like it was missing a little something (honestly it was good!). Great vibes and super chill place.

Oysters were 10/10 and wood fired mussels were just fine. We also ordered the burger, flounder and Parisian shrimp all were really good. Service was not very accommodating but wouldn’t stop us from returning

Excellent menu, very attentive staff and great food. Parking can be a bit of a challenge if it's busy in the area, but we had no problem finding a spot adjacent to the restaurant. We enjoyed the oysters, scallops and shrimp. The wine selection was great and we loved the créme brûlèe. Highly recommend!

Great food and awesome service. French seafood style and escargot luved up to expectations. Was a very lovely dinner.

I can't say I have ever had such great food and service. The quality was exceptional. This was our 37th wedding anniversary and we couldn't have dreamed of a better place with better food. It's every bit worth the price. We had Escargot, ( was my first tasting) it was in a butter, and garlic seasoning that was so good and not at all chewy or tough or any of the things people mistakenly think it will taste like. The Duck Cassoulet was cooked perfectly with just the right amount of flavors. We finished with the best Baked Alaska I've ever had! The wait staff are top of the line and I just can't tell you how everything made this night amazing!

Shem Creek Crab House is a quintessential lowcountry dining spot located on the picturesque waters of Shem Creek. It offers stunning waterfront views and a menu focused on southern seafood favorites sourced from local fishermen. Whether you choose to dine indoors or relax on the outdoor deck, you can savor dishes like she-crab soup, crab legs, shrimp boils, and more while enjoying the charming ambiance.
The views from Shem Creek Crab House were absolutely stunning and the staff was super friendly, but the food itself was a bit bland and could’ve used more seasoning. I personally enjoyed the seasoned vegetables and grilled shrimp on my Carolina Platter (as seen in the image below) better than the crab itself. It’s a fantastic place to go with the family or on a spontaneous date. I came right at sunset and the views from our table were gorgeous.

Stopped at SCCH on Memorial Day Weekend to meet friends and celebrate. The service was excellent, the food was good, and the restaurant was fun. Highlights included the Carolina Platter, and the Sesame Tuna. The cocktail specials were good as well, on the sweet side but definitely in the coastal vibe. Overall great experience.
SharkMan — Google review
Stopped by here because we were craving a good crab boil, and this place came highly recommended. We made reservations online beforehand and were seated right away when we arrived — no wait at all. They offer both indoor seating and an outdoor patio that overlooks Shem Creek, making it a great spot for a family dinner or a date night. The service was solid. It was a bit on the slower side, but considering how busy they were (and it being summertime), it was understandable. Our waitress was friendly and a pleasure to interact with. Now on to the drinks and food — my girlfriend ordered a frozen Rum Runner and really enjoyed it. For starters, we got the hush puppies and four fried oysters. It was actually our first time trying oysters, and they were fantastic. I could’ve easily polished off a whole tray. The hush puppies were also a perfect little teaser for what was to come. For our mains, we both went with steampots. I got the Crab House Crab Pot, and my girlfriend chose the Snow Crab Pot. They came out steaming hot, loaded with crab legs, shrimp, mussels, sausage, corn, and potatoes, all drenched in flavorful garlic butter. Everything was so well-seasoned and absolutely delicious. It was my girlfriend’s first time trying crab legs, and she completely devoured her pot — she loved every bite!
James H — Google review
This is a really nice local seafood restaurant with a great selection of crab, shrimp, oyster scallop and fish dishes. The best part about the menu are the grilled options. We ordered the captain’s plate and grilled scallops. Both were super fresh and delicious. The service was nice and more importantly, you get the Sham Creek view which is amazing. Be sure to ask for a window table!
Ray W — Google review
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal from start to finish. We started with the hush puppies. Nothing made them stand out from any other hush puppies, but that's okay.- they were great. For entrees we got the grilled shrimp and the lowcountry shrimp boil. The grilled shrimp was big and seasoned very well - my girlfriend called it the "best shrimp ever." Both of the sided were pretty forgettable but not bad. The shrimp boil was great too. I've been thinking about the corn in it for two weeks now - the butter and seasoning was exceptional. The overall portion of the boil was very good - I was very full by the time I'm finished. Service was pretty good - the manager got us refills once umpropmted which was nice.

So glad we stumbled upon this place. Being from Tampa, FL. We care about our seafood… we walked through the boardwalk restaurants and wasn’t for us. This place is a little hidden, but totally worth it! We shared a Steam Bucket, 2 sides, and an app and everything was so great and well done! Ate outside, relaxing calm atmosphere, and our server was on top of it! Great young man was wonderful.

Ye Old is a must visit! Their BLT really has 10 slices of bacon, it was difficult to get it to fit into my mouth. The Club Sandwich was equally sized. There is ample indoor and outdoor seating. All the employees showed pride in working there. Our server said she had worked there for 27 years. It's obvious the original founder was a fan of the since closed Farrell's Ice Cream Parlour, a number of their ice cream dishes were named the same. Their ice cream was really good. There are a few locations in the Charleston area and we'll worth the visit.
Tony S — Google review
We took the kids and their friends here for ice cream on a Saturday evening. The shop is on the southbound side of 17 in Mt. Pleasant and is easy to see from the road, especially at night. The shop has two parts; a sandwich shop and an ice cream shop. The sandwich shop looks good but we didn't try it. There was a long line for ice cream and their process is that a single person takes the order for your whole group, so if you have a lot of people (we had 7) then it might take a while for that single person to serve you all especially if you have a complex order. The reason I mention this is that the next server will call the next group and then there are a bunch of people all jammed around the counter trying to see the ice cream and taste their options. It basically gets to be a mess and you are constantly shuffling around people as they try to pay, etc. Once we finally got our order, which literally took about 15 minutes since the server had to change out some ice cream boxes and got very confused about what we ordered, I finally got my cone which was really poorly assembled and difficult to eat without making a mess. I honestly was disappointed because the server was frustrated and it was 100% avoidable. But I was the only one complaining. The kids ordered banana splits and sundaes which they thought were great. My cone, despite being messy, was good though I didn't love the flavor I chose. The ice cream was high quality and they have a ton of toppings as well as milkshakes, etc. I would go back but my preference would be to go with a smaller group (or break a large group up) instead of having one big order. There is a lot of parking but it does get crowded. A bit of patience is required when it's busy.
Shane K — Google review
Great spot to get something cold after a hot day. They had the usual flavors and some unique ones too. I regret not asking for a sample of the Coconut castaway, it looked really good. I did not take a picture of my White chocolate raspberry truffle only because I devoured it. My wife really enjoyed her Black raspberry chocolate chip and our daughter said that the Blackcherry was good too.

Pretty good ice cream and waffle cone. We got ultimate peanut butter brownie and thought it was a great flavor. The small was enough for the two of us to share (see picture for reference). There was a long wait as we went at 7:30pm but worth the wait!

We visit Mt. Pleasant almost every year and this is the first time we ate here and went back twice during our visit! This is the best ice cream and banana splits we have had here. The food is also amazing and the portions are large. Definitely recommended!!
Tabetha S — Google review
Was looking for non dairy ice cream for daughter and regular ice cream for me…this place did not disappoint. May be the best ice cream I have had , if not best in a while! The chocolate chips or chunks were huge! The flavor combination spot on. Line was reasonable. Prices reasonable! We really enjoyed it.
D W — Google review
BLT is not worth the money anymore. It advertises 10 slices of bacon, but what they fail to mention is the bacon now has the thickness of a piece of paper. All 10 slices put together make approximately 4 of the old slices. It used to be worth it. I am from out of state and try to make it a mission to order from here every work visit, but not anymore. It’s really disappointing and I hope this is just the result of an inventory order mistake.

Absolutely loved this place! We came from Florence SC just to try it in person and were not disappointed. Got a flight and the maple bourbon beer, which pro tip from Katie at Westbrook, getting the full bourbon beer is $7, flight $15, but if you get a flight with an aged beer is $22, so you might as well get a flight and a full pour aged beer! My favorites were the banana shake IPA and the 4claw IPA. Spicy nachos also incredible, surprisingly a bit sour. Only downside was a closing time of 8pm on a Friday and closing at 6pm on Saturday
Kyle A — Google review
This is a little place which offers outdoor tables. The bartenders were not very attentive and the pregnant bartender was drinking beer behind the bar, which seems to be a normal at breweries. But shes pregnant and that made me want to drink fast and leave. I was not happy that the accessible parking was blocked off for tables. The key Lime gose was refreshing as was the 3 claw.

Excellent beers on draft and to go, friendly & knowledgeable bartenders, and good atmosphere. Brandon and Katie were helpful and personable. Wish I could've had a tour, but they didn't have enough staff. Check out the cellar list for some blasts from the past.

This place was, meh. I have been to many breweries and would probably never return here. The taproom was big, but did not have a lot of seating. The beer was pretty forgettable too. Wonderful experience here. Stopped in Mid-afternoon for late lunch. We sat at bar and were served by the lovely Ainsley. She was very welcoming and knowledgeable. She made great suggestions which allowed us to try new things. The bolognase was a surprise, (home made)and the Mediterranean pizza very unique - Rich base sauce, not overly topped so all the ingredients made for a wonderful meal. I see why this restaurant receives every award there is. It is soooo good!! First let’s start with the service. We were a party of 10 which is no easy job for any server but Eric was great. So friendly and welcoming. He got our drinks quickly and then really paced our dinner so we weren’t rushed. Great job!! Eric made our visit very enjoyable! Food!!!! 5 stars. I was able to sample the calamari, fries, meatballs and whipped ricotta! Prepared to perfection. Seasoned perfectly and the meatballs were so tender! I loved how they were served in a hot cast iron pan with sauce and cheese. Small pice of focaccia bread! Yum! The whipped ricotta was divine! Sweet and creamy. Bread was salty. Just amazing. I had the fungi parpadelle pasta. The flavors were indescribable. Just go try it! I tasted the orriachetta pasta dish. Wow! Everything was perfectly seasoned. Portion size too was large. I could have shared. This will be my new go to place for pasta! They have a great happy hour too! Ambiance was amazing! I apologize if I spelled the pasta incorrectly. Can’t wait to go back

Food met the standard. Nothing was mind blowing. Steak was extremely over cooked but he did not send it back. I think he was with company he wasn’t as comfortable with so didn’t want to seem like a complainer. Fish was fine! The skin made it a little more fishy than I prefer for a branzino dish. Calamari was a tiny portion for $16. Our server met the standard, but wasn’t friendly or interested. Everything here meets standard but doesn’t go above and beyond. Checked the boxes and I would return for happy hour!

Let me start by saying that I work from home and I'm on my computer for 50+ hours a week. I was on my own on a Friday night so I decided to go to my favorite takeout place and dine in for the first time. I was handed a menu but told to order on the QR code. I got overwhelmed quickly. I wanted a technology-free evening which is why I took myself out tonight. I had to keep on cross-referencing the phone menu with the paper menu. And even then there were so many discrepancies between the two that I was getting really frustrated. Not to mention that they use weird shorthand on the QR menu that I didn't understand, and it was also poorly organized. I then asked if I could order with the waitress. I didn't think this would be a big deal because I heard several regulars come in and order verbally as soon as they walked in. The lady politely took my order. The food was really good and fresh. The restaurant became busy while I was dining. So I decided not to bother the waitress with paying so I went back to the QR code to see if the bill was attached to my table number and my code. It was. My entire bill was there so I thought " cool. I'll just pay on my phone!" Instead of just leaving I decided to make sure they received the payment to be polite and so they didn't think I was doing a dine and dash. The nice lady couldn't figure it out. So she got the angry sushi chef I think owner guy to look. He made me feel super bad and guilty about paying on my phone. I even showed him that everything I had ordered populated on the receipt on my phone and my confirmation. He told me to never do this again. And I asked"do what?" He said order with the waitress and then try to pay on your phone. I told him I'm sorry I ordered with the waitress but I was finding the QR system confusing. And he rudely said " well no one else has an issue with it!" And kind of just waved me off to leave. I literally just treated myself to a $120 meal (and mind you that's without alcohol!) to reprimanded like an indignant child . I feel awful and guilty and wish I could dispel my meal I'm so upset.

Do NOT come here. The food is incredibly mediocre and the service is horrible (not the woman, she is sweet) but Chef sucks. This restaurant does not come to take your order, insists you do it online (even when you're the only patrons there), and then ADDS 20+ to their own tip? My bill was $61 dollars and my bank statement now reads $91, and I definitely would not have tipped $30 considering their sushi was awful and horribly portioned. Save your money and your time.

My partner and I were in town for a couple weeks for her work, and this was easily our favorite restaurant that we found during the stay. (It was so nice that we went twice!) Overall, some of the best sushi I’ve had in awhile—and we were able to get uni on one night!—but the appetizers were great as well. Be advised it’s BYOB. We’ll definitely be back any time we’re in Charleston!
Anson J — Google review
I really was excited to try this place as I love sushi and the other reviews were very positive, but I was extremely disappointed. At 5:30pm on a Saturday, I was greeted by a very friendly hostess and then sat in the front corner of an entirely empty restaurant and then directed to use the QR code on the table for the remainder of my time there…you read that correct, THERE IS NO SERVICE aside from being seated and brought your food, everything is done on your phone. While the food was fresh, it was very basic (I ordered a sample appetizer as I wanted to give it a try and was given 2 pieces of shrimp, tuna, & salmon), and it took 40 minutes to prepare in an empty restaurant. Then when paying the tab on my phone, it defaults to 25% gratuity, which is absurd for no service and already high prices. If that is how they are going to run their business, they should be take out only.

Went with my wife for our anniversary. The food is expensive compared to other similar places, but it is by far the best Asian food I've had in a long time. You really get what you pay for. It was all delicious, from the appetisers to the entrees. My only regret is not being able to eat more. Again yes it is expensive, but I eagerly await the next time we go.
Riley ( — Google review
The restaurant is small, but the quality of the sushi reigns here. The dining atmosphere is a little like someone's home office on the inside. Aside from that, everything else is on point. They are a BYOB restaurant. The distance from my home, BYOB, and the convenience of a competing restaurant with slightly less quality food will be the things keeping me from making it a normal visit. Otherwise, this place will top my list for sushi.

Great place to hang out with friends or meet new people and drink some great beer. Great crowd! Everyone is really nice. Fun events are always planned. Food trucks on site. Support small business and brewery

While visiting the area I stopped in to have a flight (or two). All of the beers were delightful and tasty. The have artwork of the labels of past beers on the walls and it was enjoyable to look at. It is dog-friendly, so was able to get some dog loving in as well. My travel partner is not a big beer drinker, so he was able to get a glass of wine. The bartender was pleasant, efficient and helpful when it came to knowledge and service. I would highly recommend stopping here.

A great place for a beer! Dog friendly inside with outdoor seating as well. A good rotation of food trucks, as well as a few bar snacks. The beer is always good with good options for all tastes. Almost every time we come home to Mt. Pleasant, we stop for a round. Will be back next time!

In town for one night and stopped by for some drinks. Tried a flight of four; Helles, Dopplebock, Hefeweizen, and IPA. They were very good. I’m not really an IPA drinker but tried two more of the IPAs. They were very good and were not over the top hoppy. Staff was amazing!

Visited several breweries while in Charleston and this was, BY FAR my favorite. Such a friendly vibe and one of the best Kolsch beers I’ve had. Super dog friendly inside, which is great during the summer.

My wife and I drove from Fort Mill, SC for a get away to Charleston. We work in a brewery and wanted to check out the brewery scene close to our condo and the first one we tried was Two Blokes. Immediately upon entry we are greeted by the bartender, Christina. I ordered the Striped Sweater and my wife ordered the Kiwi-8. Both were delicious! We both bought some neat merch. The artwork is really cool and the atmosphere was beyond our expectations. Superb service from Christina. She was very welcoming and attentive from beginning to end. A very sweet and laid back personality. Being new to the area, she recommended some of her favorite places and things to do. We checked those out as well. We had to come back to try the First Blood and Second Breakfast, also very delicious! Overall a great experience and a wonderful time. Thank you Christina! We’ll definitely be back!

Wonderful atmosphere. Fantastic and knowledgeable beer tenders. Lovely selection of beers - diverse but balanced. I love brewery hopping, and they remind me of my favorite place at home. The beer tender, Jenny, was so sweet.

Time for dinner and since Two Blokes did not have a food truck on tonight's schedule, I stopped at Harris Teeter's salad bar and brought a "salad." Friendly welcome and I found a bench against the wall with a power outlet. Two beers, my salad and a bunch of wifi were my entertainment this evening. It's a comfortable space, the beers were good. I had the Umlaut Kolsch with dinner and tried the First Blood Hefeweizen that was too much orange for my taste so I went back to the Umlaut. It's in an industrial plaza and because they don't serve food, they're usually tolerant of dogs. There are also some picnic tables outside.

Beautiful church with a reverent Liturgy! Identifying us as visitors, usher Jon, was welcoming and volunteered to take our picture and shared some interesting history as well. And God's blessing be upon these people as they are a blessing to others!

While walking on the beach we noticed the tower of this church with a statue atop it, so we drove over to check it out. It was a weekday afternoon and there wasn't anything going on but the church was open. We went in and were surprised how nice it was inside. There was a plaque marking the height of the water, at least 3 feet, that had entered the church during a hurricane a couple of years prior. The church is still being restored.

Stella Maris is sweet little Catholic Cburch in the end of Sullivan's Island, SC right next to Fort Moultrie. Stella Mary Church is one of the oldest Catholic church in Charleston. Renowned for its unbeatable prices and mouthwatering burgers, this local treasure also serves up an array of seafood dishes that are sure to impress. Diners rave about the warm atmosphere enhanced by smooth jazz from a vintage record player, making every meal feel like a special occasion.
One of the best burgers I have ever eaten in my life! My husband ordered okra as a side and I had the onion rings— both cooked to perfection. I could hardly contain my excitement when I saw what style the onion rings were— the skinny, thin style. It reminded me of my mom’s home cooked meals! The root beer was also fabulous! I would love to return the next time we visit Mt. Pleasant!

Never heard of this place but my son said he’d been hearing good things. Thought I’d been transported back in time. Blues music out of a stereo was first clue this was going to be different. Older black gent wearing a yellow shirt, suspenders and a fedora asked me what I wanted. Told him burger with grilled onions. When he said the onion rings were fresh I was all in. About 15 minutes later I got a plate of some of the best onion rings around as well as a burger with so many grilled onions that I wasn’t sure there was a burger underneath when the order came. I could barely eat half. What a way to clog your arteries! Also, cash only.

Okay, my dining experience here was memorable to say the least. Ordered fried shrimp plate and cheeseburger all the way. What followed was excellent food (seriously), even better conversation with Mr. Coffee and Ms. Renee (sp?), and what had been a not so good day and turned into a great one. Please support these folks, and give the seafood side of the menu a shot;) it’s all good but that side may really stick with you.

We had an incredible experience! Our food had the best flavor and our server was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable regarding the dishes and spices! We will definitely be returning!

Absolutely delicious, and priced reasonably too! Everything we had was basically perfect (except the mango lassi which needed more tang and to be much colder). Other than that, we feel pretty confident that anything you order will be very good.

Food was okay - nothing special. Environment was a little loud with the desi music. Servers were excellent. Space was clean. Love the concept. They do serve alcohol which dented my spirits and made me suspicious of the halal menu label. I appreciate when we put Pakistani culture on display but I appreciate more when the menu is authentic.

Incredible! Was visiting from out of town and dropped in here because it sounded interesting. This was both the best meal I had in Charleston and one of the least expensive. The food was so deeply flavored I found myself dancing at the table as I was eating. Every bite was a different experience as you mix and match flavors on the plate. I went full bore and ordered Jahangir's Feast and it was pretty much south Asian comfort food bliss. Service was swift, attentive, and knowledgeable. The venue is fun mix of kitch. Highly recommend and will be back!

Food bursting full of flavor, and amazing customer service! How cool is it that Malika is the first and only Pakistani restaurant in South Carolina?!?! We ordered quite the spread, and there were so many layers of flavor in each bite. We got everything our waitress recommended - from the drinks to the food, and even the kids meals. Here's what we ordered: Drinks: Iced Chai, Mango Lassi, Aperol Spritz, and a couple of Cokes in the glass bottle. Appetizer: Chaat Papri Lunch: Street Burgers & Rolls - Beef Kabob Roll / Signature Thalis - Jahangir's Feast / Curries, Kabab & Rice - Paneer Tikka Masala w/ a side of Garlic Naan / Kids Menu - Cheesewalla Naan, and Chicken & Rice Plate. Don't forget to check out the gallery wall too! So cool to see all the pictures from the owners. And kids eat free all summer long, Tuesdays and Thursday from 11:30am to 2pm.

The Shellmore is a charming wine bar in Mount Pleasant that offers a cozy atmosphere and a daily changing menu featuring salads, cheeses, sandwiches, and small plates. Chef-owner Eric Milley is known for his culinary expertise, offering delights such as cheese and cold shucked oysters alongside impressive dishes like prime rib and veal chops. The establishment's romantic ambiance and exemplary service make it a popular choice for locals and visitors alike.
The food at this restaurant was amazing! The menu is limited, only about 5 appetizers and 5 entrees total, but the quality is top notch--you won't be disappointed. Had the halibut with black lentils, golden beets, and cashews, and it was the best grilled fish I've had in a while. Their sauce was an explosion of flavors and the fish was thick cut, juicy, done perfectly. Didn't get a drink but they have a long list of alcoholic beverages (wine, cocktails, spirits, etc)--the old fashioned that a neighboring customer ordered looked wonderful. Minor warning: this place is small, as in 10 seats at the bar, maybe 4 tables indoors, and 1 or 2 tables outdoors. Reservation is highly recommended.

Hands down one of the BEST meals we’ve ever had in the highly competitive Charleston food scene. Intimate setting- warm ambiance with kind service and over the top hospitality. Food excellently executed and wonderfully seasoned - could not really think of a way to improve the flavor of this ragu and the fish stew as well! Chef Greg and his wife Tara were so gracious- will return just as soon as we can

The Shellmore is an amazing hidden gem in I'On Mount Pleasant with a mix of absolutely gourmet food great wine and beer and friendly service. Tara bartender and server runs the show and Eric as owner chef cooks up some amazing gourmet food. The Shellmore is cozy and intimate with a great bar scene especially at happy hour. Brenda and I last night shared 1/2 dozen sunken meadow raw oysters from Massachusetts and a wild striped bass paired with a bottle of Anjou Blanc. The food was over the top five stars. The ambiance is local easy going neighborhood casual fun and exciting. Considering Tara is the only server the service was much faster than I thought possible. There is usually plenty of street parking. We highly recommend the Shellmore for local neighborhood gourmet food.

Outstanding! From Mary providing exemplary service, to the perfect atmosphere to enjoy some of the best food I’ve had in and around Charleston. They create a new and innovative menu daily. We started with the oysters, then to the salad with the perfectly cooked sous vide egg, followed by a fabulous ceviche and finished with flounder. We also enjoyed some rose bubbles and a buttery Chardonnay. We met one of the owners, Chad, who was delightful to talk to. His partner, Chef Eric, was busy in the kitchen. This is where all the locals know to go. If only I was a local.

Amazing cozy restaurant and bar hidden in the Ion neighborhood in Mt. Pleasant. The definition of doing a small selection perfectly. The menu is curated and only has a few options for each course, but each is absolutely delicious and complements the other items and drinks well. There are daily menu changes as well as a more standard menu. John is an amazing host - funny, attentive, and knowledgeable. With only a few tables and no reservations, the service is topnotch. Will definitely return when I get back to the Charleston area. My only concern in recommending is making them too popular to get a table.
Nick Y — Google review
Great wine and the menu was amazing. We had the gnocchi, crab salad and the trout dip. All were fabulous. The wine, a great Rioja was delicious.
Sam B — Google review
My husband and I visited The Shellmore last Friday. We enjoyed the best oysters ever, after sampling many while in Gulf Shores, which couldn't compare to those offered by Chef Eric. Next I enjoyed the seafood stew and my husband the beef and lamb ragu. Both were incredible. Everything is fresh and the wines that were suggested by Tara and Eric were perfect and the cheese and fruit tray was a wonderful finish. My only regret is that we don't live closer (we were visiting from Tucson) because we would probably stop in every week.

We came out to hear a friend Cody McGuire play and had a great time. Bring chairs just in case this place fills up quick. All outdoors so in the warmer months bring your bugspray too!!! The Rusty Rudder in Mt. Pleasant is a laid-back spot offering classic American cuisine, including BBQ, seafood, and steak. The restaurant has a relaxed yet stylish atmosphere with indoor seating as well as an outdoor patio adorned with cozy furniture and charming string lights. The menu features a variety of comforting dishes ranging from finger foods like peel-n-eat shrimp and crab cakes to heartier options such as shrimp n' grits and lobster ravioli.
M.O.A.B.!!!! Mother of all burgers lives here! Get the Rudder Melt and you’ll be smitten with delight. First, we had the calamari and the hot crab dip and both were solid. I’ve always been a fan of lightly fried calamari with wasabi aioli drizzled on top. I ordered the Rudder Melt burger medium rare as I do with all of my burgers and this was medium rare nirvana!! See the picture but I hope you get to experience it in person like I did. The Texas thick toast was crispy, flaky and a true OMG experience. To make this a true five star worthy experience, the Mac n cheese flavor and side portion (sandwiches come with one side) was a revitalizing experience. It was a hearty portion size that would make any southerner proud. I also had some of the brussel sprouts and they were darn good! The portions were great and the flavors matched it. Absolutely worth the visit if in the area and my service experience was good too.

I've been twice and the food was excellent both times. Rumored to make everything fresh on premises it does take a bit longer to get your food. However, it worth the wait. The service was 50/50. The waitress missed refilling our drinks a couple of times and got a sauce for one of us wrong. She didn't write anything down, just tried to remember our order. Will go back despite this.

The food wasn’t bad, it was made to order and seemed to be fresh and not a bunch of frozen junk, but it didn’t seem like their brisket was the best cut. there weren’t enough servers and the ones that were there hard people training. The outside space looked freaky cool, seemed like a nice spot to grab a drink in the summer, if they have some games and music. There could be a game changer in their Mac and cheese, but I didn’t get a chance to try it but from what I saw it looked great, it was over priced thought, made to share but if you’re like me, I’m not sharing my Mac and cheese. Another issue, got up and started to leave and the table was cleaned off with my left overs. Over half my food tossed out. Wasn’t to pleased with that. Over all, not a bad place, no the best though.

The cup of Brunswick soup was okay. Tried my husbands fried green tomatoes topped with pimento & cheese and bacon jam. That was actually pretty good and I normally hate pimento & cheese. I swear an order of smoked meat loaf could be split, perhaps even divided by 3. Very good didn’t even mind the cheese grits. The live music was okay, nothing I would buy tickets to listen to, but fine for dining. My favorite is the bacon jam. Dessert was the homemade chocolate swiss roll with blackberry whipped filling. My only complaint was that I was freezing, due to the door to back outside patio was opened so many times by smokers.

This place is awesome! They took an old house and turned it into a killer beer bar/shop. The bartender was cool and helpful. The draft selection is limited (7 beers), however they have a ton of canned/bottles beers which you can consume onsite. I can't recommend this place enough.

Beers are great. Chill and homey environment. The girl behind the bar was so rude. Wouldn’t give any recommendations, even though we asked several times. I am not a big beer Enthusiast but will say this is a fantastic experience. They have every beer you could ever think of. It's pretty cool; it seems like it's an old house in Old Village that's been turned into a bar. The entire house is filled with rooms of beer. The staff and the patrons will go out of their way to help you make a selection if you're not sure what you want to drink. There's an awesome outdoor seating area with tons of tables and space. Sometimes they have food trucks that come through so you can buy food while you're drinking. People bring their dogs and let them run around and play in the fenced-in area in the back. Really cool environment if you're looking to be social with all kinds of people. Their prices are extremely reasonable. It's a very different experience from any bar I've ever been to or Brewery type location. A very welcoming environment that I suggest for any age range (21 and older) and any level of Beer Drinker. This place is definitely in Mount Pleasant treasurer that's unique from anything else around here.

Fill Restaurant & Piano Bar is a lively eatery and lounge that offers American cuisine, cocktails, and live piano entertainment. With performances six nights a week, including open mic nights and family-friendly shows, it's the perfect spot for a fun night out. The extensive martini list and refined dinner menu make it an ideal choice for a date night. Guests have praised the delicious food, great service, and fantastic live music experience at this vibrant venue.
Great atmosphere! The food was phenomenal and staff friendly. We were there for a ginger bread house decorating event. The dueling pianos were so fun. The pianists had us laughing and singing along. We will be back.

The piano dueling was the best part. Our waitress was very inattentive. Waited over 20mins. After appetizers to order, our salad came out barely before the food. My husband steak was lukewarm. My dinner of filet mignon was to be med. well was closer med rare. Crispy Brussels were not crispy and had no flavor. Mash potatoes were warm with chunks of potatoes. Overall the food was not worth the trip!!! Very disappointing!!. Was the first request for piano man and he didn't like the song so never played. This is not a place I would return. On top of it all did not offer wheelchair accesiblity from the curb. One handicap parking spot. Such a disappointment. I'm nice so I did leave a tip, but she certainly did not earn one!!!

2017 Loved it for Shrimp and Grits, expresso quality Superior to most blows Away the chains. Surprised to have good live music when stopped in for late desert. Yummy. NEW , Its Now the next yr. Aug, 2018 still GIVE THEM A five 🌟s based on food alone. Music great too. When making our reservation, was told dueling pianos were playing Thursday evening starting at 6:30 but not the case. The Piano Guy was great. Server was great and nice guy but blew it a little. Forgot water, suggested Cream Brulee but brought cheese cake, lol, bless, his heart. Wife's Filet was awesome and my Pork Chop was out of this world. Over looked a few service details. They gave me the last of the UNBELIEVABLE homemade toffee ice cream, no charge. Can't wait to get back there.

Great spot to hang with friends and have a few drinks while you sing your heart out. Requests can be made and will be met. Food here is decent as well.

Myself & 3 friends made reservations for 6:45pm last night ( Saturday 3/3). We were looking forward to going since we’d heard great things about the restaurant. The music was entertaining, our food & drinks were delicious, we were having a great date night (2 married couples) when things started to turn sour. First, my husband requested “it’s getting hot in here” by Nelly. Popular r&b song that most people know that would surely liven up the crowd. This was submitted along with 2 others from our table, the 2 others were played but the r&b song was not. Then around 8:45, after we’d spent over $200 on food & drinks, we were told by our server that we’d have to leave by 9:15 because our table was reserved. We were enjoying the music & our drinks. We have never been asked to leave any establishment before, especially not a place with LIVE music. There was a table next to us with 4 adults that had been there just as long as we had that was not approached & an empty 4 top table next to that one. We could not understand. Yet again, as we’re still trying to enjoy ourselves, at 9:08p we were told the party for our table had arrived. To say that we are terribly disappointed in how we were treated is an understatement. Actively paying patrons to an establishment should never be asked to leave. It was clear we were still enjoying our time there since a new round of drinks had just been ordered. We were not offered any other seating so we could stay & continue to enjoy our time. We were essentially kicked out. We will surely tell all of our friends how we were treated here & recommend they go elsewhere.

Worst waiting experience in 30 years living in Charleston. It took 45 min just to get drinks. Another 45 to ORDER our entrees. Another 30 minutes for entrees to come out which were cold BY then. Took 30 minutes just to get the damn check! This place is a scam food-wise! The only positive thing I have to say about this place was the pianist. They were both excellent and entertaining! If it wasn't for them I'd petition to have this place shut down. Horrible horrible service.

Went on a slower Thursday night and was able to get all of our requests played. Our server checked on us regularly and the wait for our drinks and food weren’t too long. Tonya is a great piano player with an awesome voice and tried to learn songs even if she was unfamiliar. We had a great experience!
