1Piedmont Park Aquatic Center

Outdoor swimming pool
Piedmont Park Aquatic Center in Atlanta is a popular spot with a landscaped and partially shaded deck, concessions, and clean locker rooms. It's great for families with little ones due to the zero-depth entry. The pool can get crowded at times, especially during summer weekdays when it's open for free swim from 3 to 5 p.m. Visitors can enjoy a crystal-clear pool, beach-like walk-in area for kids, swim lanes, a lazy river, and whirlpool section.
Membership is WORTH it! Scenic and clean facility. Well staffed. Member hours are family friendly.
Halley B — Google review
This is a very nice swimming pool in the heart of Piedmont Park! Opened seasonally and sponsored by the City of Atlanta. For a small price (five dollars) you can go in. If you come between 3pm-5pm the pool can even be entered for free, but this may be a temporary action. That’s a great service! See the website for the most accurate situation. The pool is lovely to see with the old buildings and has four lanes for lap swimming, a beach like pool with a gently sloping floor ideally for young kids. The main attraction is the current channel and the “centrifuge” which lets you float around, very much fun! And some fountains for the smallest children. If you bring your own padlock, you can even have your own free locker. It is therefore surprising to find out that they have a policy called “adult swim only”, every hour from .45 till the hour. No kids allowed in the water… no kidding! That I find a weird rule and not very inclusive for families with children. Especially if you have paid for entrance, kids can only swim for 45 minutes per hour while adults can swim for 60 minutes. I would understand it better if you would organise complete adult hours, if you must… This is actually the only negative point I can mention. For the rest it’s a gem inside Piedmont park. Would go there again though and try to not to be bothered about that strange rule to exclude young adults to be…

Terrible directions. Got here at noon. At capacity already due to member's privilege to come sooner. Walked half a mile to stand in line before we could gain access. The kids are bummed!! It's 12:45!!! The pool looks great ... I guess we'll eventually find out. 🥴

Piedmont Park Aquatic Center is located in Atlanta Piedmont Park intersecting Uptown & Midtown. A very neat area with plenty of local events all year round. The outdoor pool is open all summer long with free swim from 3pm-5pm. Very scenic area with a concession stand, pool deck with a lap pool, children area, free locker, restrooms with showers, and adjustable pool chairs. Very neat that it’s located in a historic bathe house.
Mary E — Google review
Very nice family friendly pool! 15 minutes before every hour is adult swim only which is super nice! The whole pool is on 3.6 feet deep so not deep unfortunately. There is a lazy river and a whirl pool though! Locker rooms were very clean!

Great Park! I enjoyed this park immensely. Very peaceful, large mature trees and wandering pathways. The vibe was a little edgy or weird from a few of the other visitors though. I definitely got the feeling that tall, white elderly people weren't welcome. If eye contact was made, I waved, said hello, smiled, then kept walking, minding my own business. Lots of staring and some odd looks, like people were disgusted maybe? Who knows. I just kept walking. Yes, I was fully dressed, business casual wearing a sun hat. I did get turned around and asked another woman my age (she was black) if she could please point to where I needed to to go to get back to 10th and Argonne Ave. She was so very kind, pulled out her cell phone (which I should have done) and showed me where I was and which direction to head. I was getting disoriented and overheated. I was definitely not thinking very clearly, so her help was greatly appreciated. Getting older isn't pretty. I made it back to my vehicle safe. Had passed some of the same people I had passed before. I just kept looking ahead and kept quiet this time. One guy sitting on a bench flipped me a "double bird" I have to think this one was dealing with a mental illness maybe? I've worked with people who are disconnected and angry before, so while it makes me sad, I'm okay with seeing occasional, inappropriate affect. I'm okay, they're out enjoying their day, ..the world keeps turning. Nobody was violent, no threats or anything like that. I saw some amazing landscapes and enjoyed the fresh air. I need to come earlier in the day next time, maybe before 9am. My walk was in the mid afternoon on a swampy day. Great work on maintaining this park! It's truly beautiful.

Clean. Lots of life guards. Plenty of tables and seating. Free swim from 2:30-4:45
Tomorlo A — Google review
Went during free swim to check it out, its definitely wort it to have a membership. Free swim ends at 5 PM but the pool remains open for members only till 8. The facilities were clean as you'd expect for a public bath house. Nicely maintained tho, lockers outside bring your own lock or keep your belongings under a beach chair. Besides all the kids lol its pretty chill I'll try my luck with AM one of these days since the kids will be back in school soon and Im sure it'll be lovely.

Garden Hills Pool is a beautiful oasis located in south Buckhead, Atlanta. It's situated within the leafy Garden Hills Park and offers a heated main pool with a diving board, kiddie pool, and designated swim lanes for lap swimming. The pool is well-maintained and family-friendly, with lifeguards ensuring safety. While it's a neighborhood pool, it's open to the public for a small entrance fee. Additionally, reservations are required to manage the crowd effectively.
We had so much fun at this pool. Open to the public most days. They also have their own swim team!

I never write reviews but this place was such a happy find on a quick trip to Atlanta in July from NYC with two little kids ages 4 and 6 so it felt like it deserved one. Very clean, well staffed, inexpensive ($5pp and free admission on the day we went from 10am-1pm). There is a cute snack shack with cheap lunch options for kids. A great shaded playground right out front. If this was in NYC, it would be completely overrun or far more expensive. Anyways, if you’re considering, don’t hesitate!
Laura G — Google review
Beautiful pool! Clean and safe. I love that you need to make reservations. Keeps the crowd down.

This place is a nice little spot for families to have a safe, fun time.

Regardless of the rudness from the young girl in the beginning I had so much fun with my extended family .❤
Judy M — Google review
A very well kept and fun pool for the whole family. My family and I felt safe throughout our stay with lifeguards actively surveying the waters and keeping things controlled. We love the diving board and will definitely be returning soon!
Will M — Google review
Great neighborhood pool. Large main pool that goes as shallow as 2'6" as well as a smaller infant pool. Main pool also always has a few designated swim lanes for those that want to do laps. It is a neighborhood pool but is also considered a public pool so you don't have to be a member to go, but non members will have to pay a small entrance fee.
Dan E — Google review
I was a swimmer at Garden Hills, and it's great! I personally think that they should expand the pool. The water for guests is shallow, and the diving board is never open. It is clean and I think the bathrooms are very nice. The lifeguards are not always paying attention though. The staff there is not the best... but overall, I would recommend it! :) ♡

Public swimming pool
Candler Park Pool is a small but enjoyable pool located near the Candler Park Golf Course, offering free swimming from 12:30 to 4 p.m. The pool area lacks shade and lounging space, with limited seating available. Despite its retro feel, the pool is well-maintained and clean, with friendly staff. It's a family-friendly environment and not suitable for parties.
Always have a wonderful time here with myself & my girls. The staff are very professional & fun… and the pool is clean and well maintained. We love this place! The great thing is after leaving our awesome chandler Pool… we would slide down the road to get an Amazing slice of Pizza 🍕 mmm 😋!

Whilst in the bathroom in the ladies changing room, two men came in, stripped off & had a shower. I stayed inside the toilet cubicle - it's the only part of the changing room that has a door. The men were undressing/showing while a group of girls of 4-8 years old, were using the pool and changing room. OUtside, two teenage girls were hanging out. They looked totally stumped when one of the men walked past ten minutes later to use the toilet (in the ladies changing room). This year - 2025 - there are police in the lobby. IF this happens again, they need to be told to kindly tell the men to use the mens room. I respect what people feel about themselves, and that doesn't intrinsically change the person's body-type. A man spitting out pheromones is not welcome in a ladies changing room please.. The police and City need to address this. I called the City of ATL dept. that day and spoke to a lady who said this is a situation that needs careful handling. Yes, obviously. Ask the people with biological male bodies men to kindly use the mens room. End of story. Just beware.
Rebecca P — Google review
I just recently went to this pool and the staff is so ill equipped at running this ppool. My family and another family tried to get in yesterday and we were told that they were at capacity, which she said was a 150, but today the capacity was only 50, because they were short staffed. She said we could come back at 6:20 PM to swim because they would have more staff, but the pool closes at 7 PM. It was 5 PM at this time, and I was not going to drive back over there just to swim for forty minutes. Then the time before that, they had one of their young staff members playing music and trying to be a DJ but he kept starting and stopping the music jumping from song to song without letting a song completely play. Plus playing some songs that are inappropriate for kids. I've got to find a better, more professional, pool because I don't know what Candler pool has got going on but it is a hot mess.
N S — Google review
Today and it’s listed that they don’t close till seven but when I called the lady said they were closed for the season. I don’t understand how because the summer season stops after Labor Day weekend it’s still 90 and 100° outside. It’s still hot not everybody goes back to schooldidn’t on top of that. She was so rude. She kept saying you want anything else. Do you want anything else and then when I asked her some she said oh but you already said that you repeating everything two times and I told her I can repeat anything two times if I want because I’m a customer and I’m trying to ask questions and I’m trying to get answers and so what she did she hung up the phone so I called back five times. I called today at 40 5 PM. That lady was so rude and then when you go on the website there’s no information for the director for that park. There is information for the director of the whole city of Atlanta but not for that park but at Keala park the Keala park neighbor neighborhood association I will be emailing them and telling them about that lady that was so rude. She was ridiculously rude for no apparent reason. I asked her were there any other pools open and she goes the season is over so what does that mean? The season is over cause if you look outside, it doesn’t look like any season is over OK she couldn’t tell me nothing about swim classes. She couldn’t tell me nothing about any other activities and splash parks anything she was rude and she needs to be terminated. She’s not worth being a part of city of Atlanta. She makes city Atlanta look bad.
Justina C — Google review
went to this pool on Tuesday July 29, 2025 at 3:30pm when it was supposed to be open and it was closed which is very frustrating when you have prepared 3 kids for swimming and then it is not available. Very frustrating that posted hours of operation were not true.
Jill L — Google review
Great neighborhood pool, especially with the Department of Parks & Recreation running it now. Good lifeguards, very accessible. Love that this is the only Atlanta pool with a truly deep (like 10ft) end for diving and swimming. Large shallow area too.
Nate S — Google review
Good place to swim, other than closing 30 minutes early so the lifeguards can “clean-up”, which they only sat around eating while we were there and only 2 lifeguards watched the pool. They had plenty of down time to clean the facility prior to 7 pm but it’s free of cost so glad to have access but dayum.
Adonis B — Google review
Today was bitter sweet because tomorrow is the last day they will be open until next year in the summer. As always, great atmosphere, lifeguards on point, everyone was nice. The pool felt perfect by means of temperature, not too cold or too warm. The weather was great. Overall good day. If you can make it out here tomorrow, (July 30th, 2023), you will be happy you did. The water is so clean too in case your wondering. We will miss this pool. And, we will be back next year too.

The Battery Atlanta is a vibrant entertainment destination in the heart of Atlanta, offering an array of shops, bars, and restaurants from local chefs. The venue hosts an Xfinity-sponsored outdoor movie series every Friday on its Plaza Green, featuring popular classics like Shrek and Jurassic Park. Additionally, visitors can enjoy free parking for the first three hours in designated decks.
Attending the Braves game from the Delta SKY360° Club was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I walked in, everything felt elevated—VIP treatment without pretension. The seating offers an incredible view of the field, and being so close to the action makes you feel like you’re part of the game. The indoor lounge was spacious, stylish, and climate-controlled (a blessing on a warm Atlanta day), with plenty of room to relax, grab a bite, and enjoy the atmosphere. The food? Top tier. A great mix of upscale ballpark classics and fresh, chef-driven dishes. I had a juicy burger and some surprisingly good sushi—yes, sushi at a ballpark! The drinks were just as impressive, with premium selections and quick service at the bar. What really made the experience shine was the customer service. The staff was attentive, helpful, and always had a smile. Whether it was helping with seats, answering questions, or just keeping things clean and organized—they were on point. If you’re looking for a more luxurious, comfortable way to enjoy a Braves game, the Delta SKY360° Club is worth every penny. I can’t wait to go back!

Fantastic complex. Something for everyone. Pedestrian zone so very safe. Lots of places to eat. Beautiful apartment complexes. I've been to a dozen cities arena/stadium complexes and this is by far the nicest (I'm not a braves fan). Lot of fun after a game too

Super cool! A lot of people but was never cramped. It has the feel of a college football game environment with all the activities around the stadium. Highly recommend the experience. Just wish my Bravos were decent again..

Awesome place hope we can get something like this in Houston one day. Plenty of places to eat and drink. Prices are high but what do you expect, the prices are better than once you get into the ballpark which jump up a good $5 or more. It never felt crowded or unsafe and had many things going on. Will tell everyone back in Houston it's a must go-to place if your going to see a baseball game.
Samuel C — Google review
The Battery Atlanta Is Next-Level Entertainment! The Battery is hands down one of the coolest places I’ve ever been! Whether you’re here for a Braves game or just hanging out, this place has it all great restaurants, bars, live music, and an amazing vibe day or night. It’s super clean, safe, and beautifully designed. There’s something for everyone: family friendly spots, trendy lounges, sports bars, even a movie theater. It feels like a little city full of energy, excitement, and southern charm. Perfect place to grab a bite, meet friends, or just soak up the atmosphere. 10/10 can’t wait to come back!

I have been to numerous ballparks across the USA! This area is #1 perfect for baseball games and good times. Il be back this Saturday for double header. So many bars and shops hotels all walking distance so you can stumble back and relax after game.

What a really nice and chill area. The food was great...the area was great.. plenty of places to choose from to watch the game. Next time we think we are going to the game! This is a must go to and see type of area. Kid friendly, so everyone has something down here.

Swimming facility
South Cobb Aquatic Center is a public swimming facility that offers an indoor pool, water slides, and a kid's spray area. It provides a fun experience for kids with fountains to play in and a play structure with a small slide. Older kids can enjoy the multi-story water slide, lazy river, and diving board. The facility is clean and not too crowded, making it safe for families to enjoy.
We visited for spring break and our hotel pool heater went down. The kids were ready to swim so I found this place in a quick search and we headed over. The facility is in good condition and the water temperature was great. It has a fun slide, beach entry, and splash features for the kids, plus a diving board. There were plenty of lifeguard staff and the pool was not overly crowded. It was $24 for two kids and two adults to enter. I didn’t swim, but to go in everyone pays admission. Our only issue was that their card machine was down and we didn’t have cash. There is a Dollar General nearby but it doesn’t have an ATM, so I had to make a purchase to get cash back. There are safety flotation devices available for use and vending machines for snacks and drinks but they are strict that there is no food or drinks in the swimming pool area. There is also a nice playground across the parking lot. There is limited bench seating around the perimeter of the place. The lifeguard staff were very nice and even offered water at one point. They were attentive to the swimmers. We really had a great time and appreciated this indoor option in March. Thank you!

Definitely great experience with my kids today. Lifeguard on point. They pass out free water for the parents. Definitely going back to enjoy more. Con’s: it’s super cold headed back to the showers room. I don’t consider it has a negative but definitely thought I should mention for other to be prepared. Bring double towels lol
Brittany L — Google review
I enjoyed coming here, it was very fun and relaxing. However, I will say that they blow the whistle a little too much. I would be relaxing and every few mins I would hear another whistle. I know some of it is for people safety but this one girl was touching the wall when she was trying to float and they blew the whistle and told her not to touch the wall 🤨. They also blew the whistle at some people bc they were splashing there friends and said no splashing🤨. I will come back but I do wish they will calm down a bit on the whistle. P.s. they removed the playground that was inside the pool.
Bunny B — Google review
Good things first. Its indoors, it's got a big slide, a diving board, and coolest of all was a small river with a current that pushed you along. My kids spent the most time there. Neutral things second. The only deep water is the diving board area and you can only jump off it after a quick swim test. There is a small area where it's 4ft deep, but the rest of it is shallow enough for most kids to walk. Prices aren't too bad. Non resident is gonna cost a little extra. It was I think $24 for two adults and 2 kids non resident. Negatives. They are very much a rules rules rules area. No hanging onto the wall or they will blow the whistle on you. And they blew that whistle a lot. My youngest didn't like whistles by the end of it.
Estefan O — Google review
ALERT📢📢 THERE IS NO TODDLER PLAY GYM ANYMORE. THE PICTURES ARE FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. I chose this place for three reasons to celebrate my daughter's birthday. 1) Slide for Toddlers (1-6yrs old) 2) Slide for Big kids (7- and up) 3) Affordable pricing for non residents Well you should have seen my face when I came out of the dressing room to see a empty spot where the toddler play gym was. Totally killed my whole excitement. I felt bamboozled because even though it's been a few years since I been there, the pictures were false advertisement. They are showing the old play gym that's been gone from what they said a whole year. Well you have had the previous year to update the pictures. Well since they won't alert you, I will. NO PLAYGYM FOR THE BABIES. The highlights are the staff was great! They put tents outside while waiting in line. Offered water inside. Great customer service.

Grant Park Pool is a popular summer destination for a diverse mix of Atlantans. It offers free admission on weekdays from 12:30 to 4 p.m., making it an affordable option for visitors. The pool is spacious and clean, with separate areas for kids and ample common facilities such as bathrooms, lockers, and showers. Families appreciate the kiddie pool and water spray park, while the nearby park provides additional recreational opportunities.
Wonderful public pool. Staff and patrons were all very friendly, children immediately started interacting and playing well with one another. We were staying in the Grant Park area and saw the pool as we were riding our bikes through the park, it was such a nice surprise.

Staff life guard was really rude to us. Made a rude comment towards my group swimming in the lap area as we stopped to take a breath, telling us we could only swim in that area if we were doing laps. I guess you’re not allowed to stop and breathe so you don’t drown. Anyways, a life guard blew their whistle in our direction, but there was no indication of what we were doing wrong so we got out of that area. Then, when got in the laps area a second time and were doing laps, but stopped for a second to breath, a life guard came over and gave us a verbal warning. Though, this time, she was incredibly rude in her tone, stating we had been warned already once and we had one more time before they would kick us out of the pool for being in that area again for not doing laps consistently the whole time in that area. Okay, I understand that now. But the first time, there was a whistle blew at us, but no verbally indication of what we did wrong…….and then there’s also no statement about it on the pool rules posted on the walls…… so how were we supposed to know after the first time with no explanation…..? And also there were other groups swimming in the lap area, not consistently doing laps? Also last summer the pool was closed inconsistently all the time, no warning, so even if you showed up and it said it was open, it wouldn’t be. This summer, it might be different.. we’ll see? Also the pool was very dirty, lots of dirty settled at the bottom. Anyhow, for my first experience at this pool, not a great experience. Rude life guard sort of ruined the whole experiences

These life guard has their work cut out for them in the kiddie pool. A lot of parents take their little ones drop them off in the kiddie pool which is 3ft deep and simply can't be found when their toddler is swimming with no life vest in the deep part; life guard trying to find parents and directing others at the same time when that happens. I keep my eye out for the little ones because it's not their fault their guardian is not watching them, but that is minimal since my eyes is glued to my child. I can't really relax when I'm here and theirs a lot of kids

Love the pool since the Dept of Parks & Rec started running it directly. Lots of lifeguards, good hours, and it's free. It can get crowded on weekends and holidays, but it's also a big pool so there's always space to carve out. The dedicated swim lanes and kids pool are also helpful.

Spent here my first day and I am completely happy! The water is clean, not crowded, guards on their duty. I am happy with this place. I saw some people complain the water is nasty, I cant say that, well you might see some leaves in water but, trees gives you shade too. Think its natural. Other words I recommend this place. For public swimming pool its good enough)

Very large pool for the community to enjoy. The pool is clean. Spacious bathrooms and common areas are available. Common areas include bathrooms, lockers, and showers. The area is clean and doesn't smell. Kudos to the parks & rec staff for providing a fun, safe, and clean community space.
LaKenya N — Google review
We went yesterday, Saturday and when we got there the staff said they weren't letting anymore people in because they were at their capacity which they said was 100 people. There wasn't even 50 people at the pool. They turn away at least 20 people who wanted to get in. Another lady who was trying to get in counted how may people were there at the pool and there was a little over 40 people there. I have been there when there has been over 100 people there and its a huge pool so it can hold more than a 100. Now they did close at 7pm but it was 5:30pm. I don't know what their reason was for lying but I take it that they have poor management and the staff is so lazy and just didn't want to do their job. Just say that instead of making up ridiculous lies when we could clearly see that there was barely any people there.

Centennial Olympic Park, located in downtown Atlanta, was built for the 1996 Olympic Games and is now a vibrant public park featuring walking paths, water gardens, and the iconic Fountain of Rings. Situated near popular attractions like the National Center for Civil & Human Rights and the Georgia Aquarium, the park offers a mobile website tour highlighting downtown's history and architecture.
A very nice park with waterfalls and lots of beautiful landscaping. We were there when the dancing lights were on display and it was awesome. We rode the skyview and it was great as well. The park closes at 10. It is clean and well taken care of. Would highly recommend visiting here.

Expected more space before I visited, however it’s covered in Olympic history/cultire. Very cute and green park!!! Nice waters and even a spot for the children to play, clean public bathrooms, surprisingly a nice place to even do a picnic! I liked it a lot
De’Asia D — Google review
A nice enough park which is pleasant to walk through and has a good number of things to admire. It’s well kept and a popular place, with some nice restaurants and bars surrounding. Well worth taking the time to wander through on any first time in the city.
Steve B — Google review
Centennial Olympic Park in Atlanta is one of the city’s most iconic and beautifully maintained public spaces, created as a legacy of the 1996 Olympic Games. Located in the heart of downtown Atlanta, the park serves as both a tribute to the Olympic spirit and a lively gathering place for residents and visitors alike. Its open green spaces, fountains, and scenic walkways make it an ideal destination for relaxation, recreation, and reflection. The park is immaculately maintained throughout the year. The lawns are lush and green, flower beds are well-kept, and the cleanliness of the pathways and seating areas is commendable. The landscaping has been thoughtfully designed to create a balance between open areas and shaded spots, allowing visitors to enjoy the park comfortably in every season. Whether you are out for a walk, a jog, or simply to unwind after visiting nearby attractions like the World of Coca-Cola or the Georgia Aquarium, the park offers a refreshing break from the urban rush. One of the most striking features of Centennial Olympic Park is the Fountain of Rings, a spectacular interactive water fountain designed in the shape of the Olympic rings. It is a favorite spot for families, especially children, who love playing in the dancing waters synchronized to music. In the evenings, the fountain show with colorful lights and music creates a joyful atmosphere that draws crowds and photographers alike. The park also holds great historical and emotional significance. Several monuments and plaques across the area commemorate the 1996 Summer Olympics and honor athletes and volunteers who contributed to its success. There’s a sense of pride and nostalgia in the air as you walk through, reminding visitors of Atlanta’s moment on the global stage. The Olympic torch replica and engraved bricks featuring the names of donors and supporters add to the charm and authenticity of the experience. In terms of accessibility, the park is very visitor-friendly. There are wide, well-marked walkways suitable for strollers and wheelchairs. Public restrooms, security personnel, and seating arrangements are available throughout the park. The surrounding area is vibrant, with plenty of restaurants, cafés, and attractions within walking distance. Public transportation and parking facilities are also conveniently located nearby. The park frequently hosts live concerts, cultural events, and seasonal festivals, which bring it to life with energy and music. During holidays, especially around Christmas and New Year, the decorations and lighting make the entire area look magical. Despite being located in a busy part of the city, the park maintains a peaceful and family-friendly environment. Overall, Centennial Olympic Park is a must-visit landmark in Atlanta — a place that combines history, beauty, and recreation. It represents the city’s transformation from its Olympic legacy into a modern, welcoming hub for all. Whether you’re a local seeking a relaxing afternoon or a traveler exploring downtown Atlanta, this park offers a memorable and uplifting
Dr T — Google review
A must-visit Atlanta landmark right in downtown. The park offers plenty of picnic areas and clean restrooms, making it convenient for families and groups. It’s a pleasant place for a walk, and you’ll also find many attractions nearby to explore.

As my first time in Atlanta, visiting this park was on my top to do list recommended by lot of “things to do in Atlanta“. The park was clean and felt safe since it’s right across the aquarium and World of Coca-Cola, we crossed right over after visiting those experiences. The park had a nice walking trail around the park but aside from that there wasn’t too much to do or vendors around. For my first time experience, this park was very interesting and found a lot of history to it. To me this is more of a one time experience but definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Atlanta for their first time. Note: the Ferris wheel is right across the street. I recommend doing it to get night view and pictures of the downtown skyline 🏙️. 🙂 Time: 40 minutes Clean: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Crowd: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Interactive: ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Centennial Olympic Park is a true gem in the heart of the city. The park is amazingly maintained, with pristine green spaces, sparkling water features, and immaculately clean pathways. It's clear that a great deal of care goes into keeping the park in such good order. The beautiful landscaping and well-kept facilities make for a peaceful and enjoyable experience, whether you're strolling through the grounds, relaxing by the Fountain of Rings, or attending one of the many events. The park's cleanliness and excellent upkeep truly enhance its beauty and make it a must-visit destination.

Located on the southwest side of town, off Cascade Road in Atlanta, Georgia, the John A. White Outdoor Pool is a family-friendly oasis offering a kiddie paradise with zero-depth entry, tyke-friendly waterslides, and splashy fountains. The pool features attentive staff and lifeguards who provide great hospitality. While some areas like the splash pad and slides may be closed for maintenance at times, visitors can still enjoy a clean facility with a maximum depth of 5.5 feet.
Slide was dope, splash pad was cute and the pool was long enough to do laps in

It is a good park to go swimming. It's clean, have good lifeguard and police service for the safty and protection of everyone. It is fun, big and spacious. They calls everyone out for cleaning of the pool. I will recommend friends and family to john a white park. I grew up swimming at this park. Now I take my grandchildren to swim at this park. It is safe and they have lots of fun.10 thumbs up for this park.

⭐️⭐️⭐️Be Patient, and Ready to possibly wait!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Upon entry, you aren’t gaining entry until someone leaves, due to Limited Capacity. So you could wait for 30 minutes to an 1-hour. The water slides aren't available for use. They do have security(not so friendly/you will be searched) and the park, which are decently clean. Bring a foldable chair, with an umbrella, seating is VERY limited.

The splash pad and slides are closed for maintenance but the rest of the pool is nice. Bring your own chair because the loungers are not put out because of COVID. The deepest part is 5.5ft

This was my neighborhood swimming pool growing up in Southwest Atlanta in the 50's and 60's. Just like the rest of Atlanta it has become a nightmare. I'm surprised the name hasn't been changed, like all the street names in the metro area. My childhood history has been stolen from me. I can understand having Security there because of crime in Atlanta and surrounding counties. It's really a sad city.

Me and my kids came here at 430 they told us we had to wait so we waited 60 mins just for them to tell us it’s full again. Tyler Simmons was very rude about it and not understanding I told him he’d just made me and my kids leave the front of the line to make way for the people leaving out and he informed me that the line didn’t look close to the capacity of 50-60 ppl. Do not recommend at all!!

Never will visit until a new manager is there! You can’t bring juice or snacks for the kids inside the pool. They Only allowed the kids a small time to swim before kicking them out explaining that they have to let another crowd inside. McKoy Pool is a charming little pool nestled in a Decatur neighborhood, offering a zero entry feature and dedicated lap lanes. It's especially popular among families with small kids due to its kid-friendly design. The pool also offers the option to rent it for birthday parties at a reasonable price, with lifeguard staffing included. While it may be slightly shaded at certain times of the day, creating cooler water temperatures, it remains a great spot for young families seeking a more secluded and relaxed swimming experience.
Cute pool. It's definitely more for kids though.
Andrea M — Google review
Great pool especially for small kids. We love the zero entry side of the pool with the fountains! However, we got to the pool right when it opened on a weekday to find that the front desk person had not come in yet. The lifeguards aren’t allowed to take money from guests apparently, so we had to wait outside the pool until the desk employee came in..long story short it was a bit annoying to wait nearly 30 minutes to get to go into the pool deck, especially with a toddler and newborn. Otherwise our other experiences have been great!
Sydney G — Google review
Seconding the review regarding the pool being closed. A wastewater issue being the stated reason with no other explanation nor timelines raises more concerns. What does wastewater even mean? Is the pool full of sewage and human waste? A reply stating that there are other city pools simply underscores how little the city understands their constituents they are meant to serve. When did this start? Did I take my kids to swim in wastewater before the issue was announced? (To be clear, it was never announced) When will this be resolved? What’s the extent of the issue? Why is there no information about what is going on? Yes, we have been visiting other pools. If McKoy pool never existed, that would be fine. But it does and it’s the only pool south of college is now closed indefinitely with no explanation. How could anyone think this is acceptable? The pool itself is fine, when open and not full of ‘waste’.
Andrew S — Google review
Great unique pool designed with younger children in mind. It’s never too crowded and the kids love it there. It can be kind of shaded certain times of the day, which can cause the water to be a little colder than other pools. Overall a great little pool for young families.
JASONDGRACE — Google review
Excellent!! Nice and shaded. Getting out every 50 minutes "for a break" is extremely annoying, though. Especially if you just get there and that's when the break is and you have to leave soon. Parents should be trusted with knowing when their kids need a break.
Alex B — Google review
The life guards especially the head life guard are very unprofessional. On Tuesday 8,2021 the head life guard of your Mccoy pool came off very rude from the beginning of my visit along with 2 other parents. We had 5 children each and he was upset stating we are a camp and can not come in. The 2 other parents and I both explained to him that we are not a camp, he then process to give one of the parent a phone to talk to the manager of Dekalb district pools because he felt we were still a camp. The manager after having the situation explain to him that we are not a camp just 3 mothers who came to a pool together he then decides to let us enter. Later on while it started to rain and everyone had to get out of the pool one of the parents walked in on the life guards discussing us which is very unprofessional. They saying we were lieing and they did not want to watch our group of children, if your pool was not pass capacity and we were following the rules your staff should not have had an issue especially being that we paid our way. A different life guard herself stated we seem like family which after their manager said it's ok let them enter there should not have been any problem nor further discussion much less in front of our children. We were discriminated against and it was not fair to treat us mothers nor our children that way. We were in there less then 1 hour and was not refunded our money.
Jazmine S — Google review
Secluded Decatur public swim club. Very nice. Membership or fee is required. It appears to cater mostly to parents of smaller children. There are three lap lanes that appear to be 25 yards in length. It feels shorter than a usual outdoor lap lane, but can't say for sure. I would guess that about half of the water area is devoted to less than 3 feet of water depth. One can rent the pool for birthday parties, with lifeguard staffing for a very reasonable price.
Paul A — Google review
This is a small pool area with a beach entrance for small kids. We went later in the afternoon and it was not busy. The facilities are small and they charge the same price (cash only) as the larger Decatur pools. There were plenty of chairs and some shade as well. I would go back.

Ebster Pool, located in the City of Decatur, underwent extensive renovations five years ago and now boasts an upgraded pool house, a new splash pad, and additional lanes. Open to both residents and non-residents, the admission fee for non-residents is typically $6 for adults and $4 for children. Despite its popularity as a favorite spot in the area, it remains relatively uncrowded at times. Visitors are advised to bring appropriate footwear as the pavement can get quite hot.
A hidden gem! It was only six bucks for nonresident entry and there were only 11 people including me and the staff at 3 pm on a summer Friday afternoon. Bring shoes. The pavement is HOT!

I was looking into going to this pool because it's right down the street. There seems to be a class based barrier to entry here, though. Why are you trying to keep out certain residents? It clearly states on your policy that a drivers license with a Decatur address is not sufficient. An average of 40% of people rent and many renters don't get utility bills because it's included in rent payments. Tax bills are only for home owners. I'm surprised and disappointed by this discrimination.
Bria A — Google review
I'm kind of upset because the kids have nothing to do and they charge them every time they go to the pool they have to pay $5 every time they go to the pool and the pool is like right here in their neighborhood that's crazy kids don't have the money all the time to go swimming now they don't have nothing to do I seen kids just standing out by the pool because they don't have money it's crazy

Fantastic garden! Worth the day trip as a date with your partner, your parents or your kids — fun for all ages and group sizes. 🕣 Time spent: 2 hours (not including snack breaks or lunch onsite) The grounds were BEAUTIFUL! Carefully curated and manicured. Walking along the different areas was fun and the most breathtaking part was the conservatory — the 3 different climates housed in there was incredible and the size of the trees, you know they have been in there happy and healthy! ☕️ We even stopped for a food demo at the herb garden and were pleasantly surprised. The chef hosting that day was hilarious and knowledgeable — she had a great personality and taught us about eating (rather, drinking) fig leaf tea! ☀️ Time of year to visit: We unfortunately came at an in between while visiting Atlanta in which they just closed the Alice in Wonderland installation and were building the fall pumpkin themed area — which was closed to the public. It would have been nice is the tickets were discounted since part of the grounds were not accessible during the installation process. 🕐 Wait time: We visited at opening 9 am on a Sunday in late September. The line was minimal (10 min) and the grounds were at a comfortable business. The later in the day around 12, the crowds and lines were definitely more noticeable.

From the moment you enter, you’re greeted with a refreshing cocktail and a sense of magic in the air. The “Alice in Wonderland” theme added a playful, storybook charm—giant mushrooms, whimsical sculptures, and floral displays that felt straight out of a dream. Even with the heat, the beauty of the gardens and the creativity in every corner made it worth wandering. It’s more than a park—it’s a living gallery of nature and imagination. A perfect spot to slow down, sip something sweet, and let your senses bloom.

This was our first time visiting Atlanta, and the botanical garden was on our bucket list. My wife and I really enjoyed walking through all the different themed areas, the whole place was super clean and well taken care of. They gave us a map at the entrance that made it easy to find our way around, which helped a lot since the park is pretty big. The highlight for us was the indoor garden area. It was full of unique plants, facts, and displays—definitely our favorite part and something we’ll remember. We saw plants we’ve never seen before and learned a lot too. Overall, it was a great experience, and we’d for sure come back again in the future. Note: save $4 by buying ticket online but processing is $2.50 per ticket. I loved my visit to the Atlanta Botanical Garden! It’s a large and beautiful place to walk around and explore. Depending on the season you visit, you’ll get a different experience. I went during Halloween, and everything was perfectly themed for fall — such a lovely atmosphere! One of my favorite parts was the Fuqua Orchid Center, absolutely stunning! Still, every area of the garden is worth admiring — the flowers, trees, and plants from so many different species make it a magical place. If you’re lucky, you might even spot some frogs in one of the sections! It’s a wonderful and family-friendly spot to enjoy nature and relax. I truly recommend it! 🌸🌳🍁 Also I’m visiting from Florida.

🌺 ATL Botanical Garden – A Jedi Master's Retreat Among Flora and Fantasy 🌿 Tranquility found, in the heart of Atlanta it is. Wandered into the ATL Botanical Garden I did, and emerged hours later fully immersed in a world where the Force flows not from kyber crystals—but from orchids, fountains, and sculpted artistry beyond imagination. The vibrant displays of orchids will ignite your senses like twin suns at dawn, while artful topiaries and glowing glass installations will make even the most seasoned Jedi pause and admire. Nature and creativity here dance in harmony like a well-executed lightsaber form. 🌸 Whether you're here to meditate among the greenery, chase younglings through the whimsical Children’s Garden, or stroll along the canopy walk with the wisdom of Yoda whispering in your ear, there’s something for all beings of the galaxy. ⚠️ Important quest you must complete: Do not miss the Alice in Wonderland displays—an enchanting floral takeover that runs only until September 14th. From blooming chess pieces to larger-than-life topiary characters, it’s a wonderland even the White Rabbit wouldn’t dare to rush through. 🌳 The entire space is a botanical adventure—interactive, beautifully maintained, and bursting with seasonal magic. A must-visit for photographers, families, couples, or travelers simply seeking peace. 💬 Final Verdict: A garden, this is not. A living Force temple, it is. Go, you must—and let your senses bloom.

This is a truly great garden, and I've visited quite a few! The unparalleled effort dedicated to their conservatory is immediately apparent and makes it a standout attraction. I particularly enjoyed the tranquility of the space, enhanced by the many calming walking paths. Beyond the beauty, the educational aspects are well-done and engaging. It's well worth a stop if you find yourself in the area.

I don't know what I was expecting but it wasn't a bunch of already dead or dying plants. I'll chalk that up to the fact the season is changing but for a place that deals with flowers it shouldn't have that. Just my opinion. It had the Alice in Wonderland theme in some parts and they looked amazing. The singing flowers were the cutest. The scenes were nice but it was kinda boring. It's a great place for pictures tho. Lots of walking and if you get there early park on the top deck. It leads straight to the garden.

Zoo Atlanta is a large and modern zoo that houses over 1,500 animals from 220 different species. One of its most popular exhibits is the Asian Forest, which is home to giant pandas Lun Lun and Yang Yang, along with their offspring Mei Lan and Xi Lan. The zoo, located in historic Grant Park just minutes from downtown Atlanta, features a diverse array of wildlife including lemurs, monkeys, elephants, giraffes, kangaroos, lions, and more.
Great and clean zoo with lots of animals in large enclosures, largest of Zoos I have previously visited. The zoo itself was cleaned and maintained well. Prices in gift shop were way to high and ended up not getting even a t-shirt, it was well over 50.00 for a normal shirt, that part is ridiculous. Much better pricing at Aquarium for souvenirs. Make sure to buy City Pass and save. Was easy to use and redeem the tickets at all locations. Went on a Friday and was bummed not many shows were available. Feeding the giraffe was nice and quick. The VR ride was nice but a little short for price.

Zoo Atlanta was very easy to navigate. They have handicap electric chairs you can rent for $40 all day. The paths are easy to walk or ride. The exhibits are very nice. Plenty of maps, Information and bathrooms spread throughout. They have snack stands a cafe and Ice cream stands. The also have a well equipped children's section that includes a jungle gym, zipline, rides and games. There is a gift shop and plenty of parking which you pay for the day for $12. It was a lot of fun. Very recommended.

We had a great day at Zoo Atlanta. We came on a Sunday around 10am. There was no line to wait in to buy tickets. We spent time at every exhibit and saw animals being active. The animals here look healthy and are given decent sized enclosures. I love the employees who are near exhibits who talk to you about the animals and give you facts and tell you about their conservation efforts. Our kids fed the giraffe, that was a hit! We ate at nourish cafe. The food was good. We had Sonoma burgers and fries and our kids split a chicken finger basket. We also got the refillable souvenir cups. We did everything in the children’s area. Train, carousel, treetop trail, and playground. Our kids had a blast. Lastly, we hit the gift shop. The souvenirs will give you sticker shock but they had a lot of cute stuff. From buying tickets to walking out we spent $300 for a family of 4.

Today, Monday, we went to the zoo and had a great time learning more about the animals and their habitats, their environment, and their care. Everything was clean and well-organized. Highly recommended! The three lion brothers, the giraffes, the elephants, the Sumatran tiger, and all the other animals that live in this great zoo were spectacular. You can have a great day out with the family. Highly recommended.
César T — Google review
Overall it is a nice zoo and has a lot of trees and shade and enough variety of animals so it is a pleasant place to walk around and spend the day. It is smaller than many other USA big city zoos, though, as I've seen mentioned in the other comments. For those familiar with Chicago zoos, it is closer to the size of Lincoln Park Zoo rather than the much more spacious Brookfield Zoo.

This was also one of our favourite. Make sure to put it in one of your to do things in Atlanta. My best animal there was the Gorillas and how they were fed. They behave very well and sensible. The smallest elephant in age but biggest in size entertained us with the ball he plays with. We loved everything about about the zoo.

Nestled between Atlanta's vibrant Midtown and the charming Virginia-Highland neighborhoods, Piedmont Park is a sprawling 189-acre urban oasis that invites both locals and visitors to unwind. This beautifully designed park, originally crafted by Joseph Johnson and later enhanced by Central Park's Frederick Law Olmsted, offers a plethora of recreational activities. From jogging paths and basketball courts to dog parks and picnic areas, there's something for everyone.
Wonderful walk through this urban park! First hour is $3 parking in the public parking deck. Lots of folks playing recreationally. Careful for the tight parking spaces in the deck. There is a clearance beam that hangs above the so I wouldn't drive a tall vehicle through it.

Shakey Knees 2025 My boyfriend and I had an amazing time on Saturday 9/20/25 at Piedmont Park for Shakey Knees. We went to see Tv on the Radio. They were absolutely fabulous. We also enjoyed seeing Johnny Marr, Cage the Elephant, and of course My Chemical Romance. We got the GA+ tickets, and the ammenties were great. It was nice to stretch out and have enough room to relax. The AC bathrooms were top notch, and we loved the Comp drink options. We got food at Get Baked, Mosh Burger and the Pizza joint. I absolutely loved the veggie burger that Mosh makes. This was my second Shakey Knees festival, and my boyfriend's first time in the ATL. Such incredible memories! Can't wait to see the line-up for next year's festival. Thank you Shakey Knees!

Lots of green space and pedestrian trails close to residential neighborhoods and urban amenities. Free and home to many community events. Botanical garden is a paid entry but only a portion of the area inside the park.

I spent a sunny afternoon exploring Piedmont Park in Midtown Atlanta, and it deserves five stars. The park is vast and beautifully maintained—perfect for walking, jogging, biking, or just lounging on the grass with a skyline view that never gets old. Whether you're coming for a stroll, playing fetch with your pup in the off-leash dog park, or enjoying a picnic by Lake Clara Meer, there's something for everyone. What makes the park extra special are its amenities: an ADA-accessible pool with lap lanes, current-channel for floating, scenic fountains, and concessions—great for cooling off on warm days. Families will love the playgrounds, especially the artistic Noguchi Playscapes with modern sculptures and slides that double as public art. Piedmont Park is the city’s event stage for festivals like Dogwood Festival, Atlanta Pride, Music Midtown, and more—bringing energy and culture each season. But even without an event, the park radiates calm—great shady spots, restrooms, and enough paths and benches so you can easily settle in for a peaceful break. The Conservancy behind the park has big plans too: expect new walking and bike trails, better restrooms, expanded tree canopy, and creative paths weaving through the treetops—making an already amazing park even better in the years ahead. All around, Piedmont Park feels like the heart of Atlanta—green, welcoming, and full of life.

Piedmont Park is truly the heart of Atlanta. It’s the perfect place to relax, go for a walk, or just sit and enjoy the views. The reflection of the city skyline on the water is absolutely stunning—especially around sunset. Whether you’re into jogging, picnics, or simply people-watching, this park offers a little bit of everything. Always peaceful yet full of life. A must-visit if you’re in Atlanta!

Glenlake Pool is a spacious swimming facility with a gradual depth variation, ranging from a shallow end of approximately 1 foot to a deeper end reaching about 7 feet. The pool offers convenient breaks and designated times for adult swim, accompanied by attentive lifeguards who provide instruction rather than just blowing whistles. Some visitors have expressed the desire for more seating options and improved parking facilities, especially for families with young children.
I had the pleasure of experiencing exceptional customer service and attentiveness from Loren during my recent visit to Glenlake Pool, and I must say, it truly made our day memorable. Loren's dedication to providing excellent customer service was evident from the moment we arrived. Her warm smile, friendly demeanor, and willingness to assist with any inquiries created a welcoming atmosphere that instantly put us at ease. Our experience at Glenlake Pool was nothing short of delightful, largely thanks to Loren and the exceptional team of lifeguards. Their professionalism, friendliness, and commitment to customer satisfaction truly set them apart. I wholeheartedly recommend Glenlake Pool to anyone seeking a family-friendly and safe swimming environment. Thank you, Loren, and the lifeguards, for making our visit so enjoyable.

Clean and well maintained. There is parking, but it's hard to get on the weekend. There are also 3 picnic tables but if you need one, it's better to reserve one. My only complaint is that the pool isn't 25 yards wide for swimming laps.

The stars are for the two young lady’s doing a great job. I was sadly disappointed by the restroom appearance and smell. Also, the fact that the African-Americanyoung lady at the front only had a Fan and it was 91° and at the other end there was a nice non-African-American young lady? Working in a air conditioned office after going to the bathroom realizing it wasn’t in the condition for changing my clothes to go for a swim I asked if I was able to get a refund because of the unsanitary conditions. I was told that I needed to email someone, I just opted to donate that amount and leave this review instead I have been in the area for years. I’ve come there I’ve walked the cemetery grounds for exercise I always thought of this place being very decent. To actually see the type of filth and no smell of any cleaning agent, and again the young lady working with only a fan and that heat. Need to do better for real. She was a very apologetic and professional individual, and we all deserve the same fairness I didn’t see where she had any water some other people Where? complaining about something that went on inside the pool area. This young lady was handling it like she actually owned the business. Her customer service skills are impeccable and she deserves better. If that’s all you have to offer her is a fan that just circulates the hot heat. You should be ashamed of yourself. You should at least have a portable AC for this area. Go to this pool at your own risk, If you care about who you are, you we don’t deserve to pay to be in a dump! 😩🥵👎🏽

The pool was little dirty. They have a lot lounge area. It’s on their policy “avoid large float that lifeguard’s can’t view you” but they don’t allow any kinda of float that’s ridiculous. There’s not plenty of parking.

Free parking. Easy to find. Close to gym Clean. Opens at 10 and closes at 6pm. Locker rooms to change clothes. Tables to eat. Chairs to recline. Stay out of the lap lane. Pool is huge. Area for kids and deep end 8' for adults. Lifeguards on duty. You can bring food and snacks. They don't sell food. Great location. Swim here then head down to square pub or raging burrito to eat. Mixed crowd of people. All ages. I would recommend this to someone wanting to chill and swim.. kids are loud buy that's expected. Oh and once a hour there's an adult only swim. So for 10 mins all kids out of pool. Smart. Helps parents keep track of their little ones... and the water is clear and clean.. great place overall...

Massive pool (1.5 ft up to 6 ft depths) with lifeguards on post. Lap lanes in center of pool as well. RATE is $5 daily entry fee, plenty of lounge chairs, umbrellas, picnic table area. Outside food and coolers allowed!! Easy access off Church St. in Decatur, with street and lot parking available. Special designated "adult swim" times allotted through out the day. All in all, a great public pool. Only 4 stars due to dirty restroom. Will return.

I went here at night with family it was pretty to me. Some things I think would be best to view during the day for example the murals. I say this because I like art and without proper lighting it just look dull in some spots. It is busy but everyone was respectful of the walk ways and each other. To my fellow introverts while this is not typical it was fun. But if you do want to go it might be best to go when it's not that busy with foot traffic. I think you would enjoy it.

Beautiful disc golf course- but the park bathrooms have been closed for a while. Different pads available based on skill level, and watch out for some steep hills (depending on where your disc lands). Also, consider wearing waterproof boots for stream crossing!

This park was thriving on Memorial Day weekend. I decided to take a stroll and get a better feel for what the park was like. It's right off of Metropolitan Pkwy in West End Atlanta. It's a pretty clean park with nice outdoor space the whole family can enjoy. Next to the covered pavilion is an outside fountain for kids to run around and get wet. I also saw tennis and basketball courts in the park. The real highlight for me was the nature trails that seemed to be hiding behind the more opened spaces. I was pleasantly surprised and thoroughly enjoyed my little nature hike. There is a lovely creek that runs through the trail. There were a couple of groups enjoying a hike while playing disc golf. I'm already looking forward to visiting again.

This is a really spacious park!! There is a playground that's like 3-in-1, there's a splash pad for the kids to get wet on the hot summer days right next to a restroom for changing and using. There's a half court for basketball. Plenty of open space for picnics or playing with your pup. No dog park tho. But it's really pleasant!!

The Georgia Tech Recreation Center is one of the best campus gyms I’ve seen. It has everything—an Olympic-sized pool with a water slide, diving wells, and lap lanes, a huge rock climbing wall, multiple basketball and squash courts, an indoor track, and tons of workout equipment spread across multiple levels. The design is impressive, with courts suspended above the pool and solar panels powering part of the facility. It’s always clean, well-maintained, and there’s usually space to work out even during busy hours. Sometimes staff response can feel a bit slow, but overall it’s a world-class facility that makes working out or just relaxing really enjoyable.

CRC is a world-class sports facility. It has: an olympic swimming pool, an olympic diving pool, a recreational pool with slides, a fully-equipped gym, a climbing wall, 6 basketball courts, two racquetball courts, one squash court, one badminton course, one golf simulator, several flexible studios for training group sports, a spinning studio, combat studios, vending machines, rest and study areas, a food court, an outdoor sun deck, and several help desks where you can borrow all the equipment necessary. It is a jewel for Georgia Tech students, staff, and alumni and their families.

Visited GTech campus and the gym and swimming pool area is nice . 👍 it’s a good walk from east campus but once u r in , you get the best workout . 🏋️‍♂️ it’s crowded mostly . Tough to get some weights sometimes ! The swimming pool is awesome . Nice place overall . 4 stars !
Raj S — Google review
This is an excellent gym with all the equipment and facilities I need. All GT students know this already and I know many alumni who maintain an alumni membership after graduation particularly if you want to swim. Things can get pretty busy in the evenings as with any gym but there is plenty of space to get a workout in anyway. I’ve also rented portions of the facility for events and it has always been an excellent experience. The staff has been professional and more than helpful during planning and execution of the event. Parking can be a bit of a pain but as long as your guests know ahead of time we haven’t had many complaints.

This is the best university gym that I’ve been to. UW-Madison gym is very comparable, but Columbia underground gym is a joke. You'll enjoy the Olympics standard swimming pool and wall-climbing. I heard the mini-golf simulator is also very cool, but I never tried it out. Another credit to the CRC online registration website, which makes social distance possible during pandemic times.

Not only is Georgia Tech a great school - it has one of the greatest pools in the county. The Georgia Tech pool was once the Olympic pool when the Olympic games were held in Atlanta in 1996. The competition pool is ten lanes/50 meters and is the perfect depth. It is a very fast pool. Seating is great for coaches and spectators. Attached is a diving well used for 1m,3m, and 10 m diving. Also in the facility is a great gym/workout area for students.

Members rave about the affordability compared to other gyms, making it accessible for everyone looking to enhance their health journey. The Y is not just about equipment; it's also about community.
The Carl E. Sanders YMCA location is the best Y facility I’ve ever seen. They offer so many great group workout classes, their tennis and pickleball programs are fun to be apart of and the facility is so clean and tidy!!! Not to mention, the staff is so helpful and sweet! There are opportunities to volunteer in their community Y events which is also amazing and I definitely recommend getting a membership here!

Hi! it’s a beautiful facility, active with people, and the staff are amazing and so friendly. However, as national members, we were not able to drop off our child in childcare. We have stopped in so many cities and I’ve been able to utilize the services YMCA offers. We are not rich and one of the best parts of the YMCA is that I’m able to drop my child off while I do some work/fill out applications, even shower. It’s pretty frustrating considering we were in a really nice part of town. It seems like an organization that should be focused on public service is focusing on exclusivity. Now this could be presumptive and I hope that’s not the case. This was a decision made by leadership and I would like to know why… how many national members could possibly be coming in on a daily basis that they need to create a rule like this. I just feel like this is not in the interest of the regular working class.

I highly recommend swim classes here specifically with Coach Patricia M. My son had a traumatic experience during swim lessons in the past at another business. However, Coach Patricia worked with him to establish a safe/, trusting relationship with then gave him skills to build his confidence in the water. Thanks to her, he loves the water. We drive 30 minutes just to train with her despite having a closer Y 10 minutes away from our house.

Really nice location and the outdoor pool is so fun. $120 a month for family membership is ridiculous considering the “childcare” is just turning on YouTube for the kids while the caretakers sit on their phones. I’m really sad there’s not a good gym option with childcare in Atlanta. I’m not paying the exorbitant membership fee for my kid to be glued to a screen.

Hurricane Harbor, located at Six Flags Over Georgia in Austell, is a popular water park with splash pads and various water activities. Visitors can enjoy the convenience of bringing their own coolers and food while relaxing in cabanas that come with amenities like pizzas and drinks. The park offers plenty of outlets to purchase food and beverages as well as multiple sanitizer stations for safety.
Perfect place for having water activities. My 3 daughters had blast. Super cheap for season pass and it includes parking as well. Plenty of outlets to buy food and beverages. Multiple sanitizer stations. This is our new hang out spot for summer time.
Dineshkumar C — Google review
It’s ok, but not great. The waves in the wave pool are REALLY strong! My oldest daughter had to rescue my 8 year old several times. They are both tall and good swimmers, but if your child isn’t on swim team this will likely be too much for them. There’s also not nearly as enough shade or seating. There are large areas reserved for folks who want to pay for seating, but there was not a single free chair available on the first Saturday in September, hardly a peak busy time. Also hardly any shade. I found myself standing in with occupied chairs just to get under a sliver of shade.
Cassondra M — Google review
Hurricane Harbor is at the end of the park and changing stalls are in the restrooms there. I was really disappointed to find out that almost all of the chaise lounges were roped off and you had to pay for them. We literally ended up sitting on the concrete even though we had purchased season passes. They really should provide more seating/lounging options and more shaded areas. It gets way too hot in GA! Food order took forever. The kids had a great time though - they enjoyed the slides, the wave pool and the splash zone. However, I recommend including the chaise lounge rental in your budget if you're planning on going to the Hurricane Harbor part of Six Flags if you don't feel like sitting on the ground...
Z. D — Google review
I don’t know why this has been added as a separate attraction, but it has like 4 rides in total and closed mostly except summer school holidays. There 3-5 other water attractions in the Six Flags but do not follow this timeline but have extended operations. Personally, it adds to your Six Flags over Georgia price but I prefer Six Flags White Water over this as that has more options as well as different thrill levels than this. But if you just want to get into water to have a fell of a beach, then it is for you.
Wandering G — Google review
We got the season pass. So yesterday was just the theme park. Today was Cabana day. With our large family we had to get a cabana. We had five kids with us and age from 17 to 4. We arrived at me. When the water parks open. I do have to tell you in advance that the water park is located way in the back of the park it takes us about 15 to 20 minutes to get to there. So if you're planning keep that in mind. We are allowed to bring our own coolers and food in. For our platinum cabana two large pizzas were included and drinks. There was some sodas included. So here are the frowns, there is no towel service, there is no adult beverage service, and the chairs to sleep on are basic plastic chairs that lay back To their credit the attendee does come to check on you periodically to bring, plates, water, paper towels The bathrooms at hurricane harbor are horrible, wet and full of clogged toilet and paper towels We did enjoy our stay. This allowed the oldest boys and family to wander the park whilst I stayed behind while the baby napped. I was also able to get some sun Just wished for a little detail for the price paid Oh yes and there is a 'private area' for you to. Lounge on. I did really utilize this area, but my kid give it 3 Stars. He tells me that the chlorine is too strong and it burns his eyes. In addition to having a rough and prickly pool floor which was hard on his feet. I really think my child is sensitive but who knows!

Awesome place, really clean, and well organized. Only complaint is that they need more lifeguards to be able to open all the rides.

What amazing staff! And the pool was perfect, great light and wonderful lap lanes. Definitely don't forget a towel, soap and shampoo.

Great facility for exercise, swimming, and in my case a banquet for my family reunion. The cost to reserve their space is extremely reasonable. They have audio and video connections and tables and a kitchen to use. There's sufficient on-site parking for guests.

I haven't been to the MLK jr Rec Center since it was located near the MLK jr center. Wow! What an upgrade. The building was very nice with plenty of amenities. I loved the gym area, spin room, pool, computer lab and more! The lady at the front desk was informative and kind. I'd definitely visit again and explore more of the center.

I love it here. The kids club is top notch. I love the parents night out. It’s always clean and 95% of the staff is amazing. This Life Time is particularly culty but I like that. It really feels like a Country Club without all the stupid bullshit. Over time it’s become like a second home for us. ❤️

I’m not sure why all the negative reviews. I’m giving this place a five star because of the location and the amenities the staff are decent. There are a few people who shine really bright at the front desk, which is what I’ve seen to be the case in many of the Lifetime gyms that I’ve been to Front desk staff is amazing. The equipment is usually clean and working. They invest a lot to make the experience great I don’t know of any other gym in the area that can surpass the amenities that you get and yes, they are not 24 hours like they used to be but they open pretty early at 4 AM and close relatively late at 12 AM. I would love for them to open later, but these hours are still decent and parking has never been a problem. I have noticed that the gym is typically packed very early in the morning until about 8 AM and same for the evening overall this is a cleaner and higher in location than the other onesso you can expect more equipment and in decent shape

This is an amazing gym!! Whatever negative reviews on here are obviously not in regards to the overall club and facilities. This is without a doubt the best gym in the area with the most amenities. I am a newer member and am very impressed with every aspect of this club. The cleanliness, friendly staff, variety of classes offered and abundance of machines available make this a very comfortable place to workout or relax. I love how spread out things are and it never feels crowded!! I can’t stand feeling crowded in a gym or a locker room, all of the rooms here are spacious including the steam room and sauna. From what I have seen the gym seems to be well staffed and has always looked clean. The app is well designed and makes it so easy to check in and book classes! The pool area is large and I love the beach club cafe and bar. The 21+ pool area is perfect too for Those of us who don’t want to hear little kids screaming and running around! I enjoy spending time at this club and feel that it’s worth every penny. Great experience and I will recommend it to anyone looking for a new fitness spot!

The Kids academy is truly THE best. I love how engaging they are, don’t use the tvs like most gyms do just plop kids in front of a screen. My kids love going and are often mad when I pick them up because they want to stay longer. Great staff, Jacinda is top notch. One of the kindest people I have met and she has a great staff. We drive out of our way to take our kids here and it is so worth it. Thank you!

I had a terrible experience at this gym because of how I was treated by the front desk receptionist. She had long braids and was working when I came in Monday around 2pm. I asked her a question, and instead of helping, she gave me so much attitude. It felt like she couldn’t be bothered to do her job and just wanted me to go away. She was rude, dismissive, and worst of all — she started laughing at me. I felt completely disrespected and honestly bullied. I left the gym in tears because of how she made me feel. I asked to speak to the manager, and she completely ignored me. I came to this gym to feel better about myself, not to be treated like I don’t matter. This experience was heartbreaking, and I hope management takes it seriously. No one should ever be made to feel like this in a place that’s supposed to support your well-being.
ATL D — Google review
We have been members during the summer for the past 3 years. Every other year has been exceptional, but the food & beverage availability has been horrible this summer. They are constantly out of everything, & the nice employees working at the pool & inside are just trying to do their best. William is importantly of note because he has to deal with the hardest parts of their lack of stock, & he has been so kind & friendly. The staff is amazing, but for the price per month it is unacceptable to be so poorly stocked.
Carissa A — Google review
I really like this place. It has all the amenities I want in a gym and then some. I'm easy to please; all I want is a well-equipped weight room and a clean locker room. That's about it - and this place has that. There are four or five flat benches, an incline bench, a decline bench, a seated press, a belt squat, which I love b/c, due to medical issues, I can no longer back squat. There are tons of squat racks, two Smith machines, Hammer equipment, TechnoGym equipment, trap bars and more. I rarely have to wait for a piece of equipment, but I don't go at peak times, either. They don't have what is call esoteric equipment like cancer bars, but I think few at this gym would use, or know how to use that. Workers are constantly cleaning the floors and mirrors on the walls. I know that's hard to keep up with. They also rack weights that people leave on the floor. A few things I don't like: 1) Unsupervised young kids play in the weight room and have no idea what they're doing. One was playing on the assisted dip machine and just jumped off; I was sure he broke something. 2) People sit on their phones for several minutes at a time while they're on equipment. I saw one guy get on a machine I was waiting for and immediately got on his phone for five or ten minutes without beginning a set. Phones should be banned on the gym floor. 3) Barbell collars are few and far between. I'm sure they're being stolen. The gym should allow no bags on the gym floor. 4) People don't rack weights when they're done with them. Sometimes I have to search all over the gym to find plates. 5} Trainers seem to turn a blind eye to any of the things I've outlined. Maybe they've been told to for fear of upsetting people, but I'm sure there are many of us that would love to see the things I've outlined stopped. Otherwise, as I've said, I love this place.

I have been a member for all most 10 years. The original platform that was Lifetime is gone. You pay through the nose for everything you get! Membership dues increase almost yearly with decreasing amementies. The weight room has become an overrun pain. No matter what time of day you come it will be packed. It is simply too small. There absolutely dress code what so ever, especially at the pool!

Came here for the splash pad. My kids loved it nice park. Very spacious, big enough for the kids to run around and have fun. We went in the evening around 6/7 so there was no one there but use. Park was very clean, perfect for picnics and family gatherings!! Highly recommended

The property's prime location provides easy access to various attractions and dining options on Carroll Street in Cabbagetown. Additionally, it is conveniently situated near the Beltline for daily runs. The well-maintained property exudes charm and history, making it a beautiful place to call home.
Dear Tellys and Angel, I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you for making my move from Virginia Beach to Atlanta such a smooth transition. It’s been about a month since I moved in, and I already feel so at home here. The property is beautiful, and I’ve really appreciated how responsive and helpful your team has been. From move-in day to handling little questions along the way, it’s clear that you all care about the residents and the community. Looking forward to settling in even more and making the most of this new chapter in Atlanta!

The maintenance guy Tory is a weird creep that made my daughter feel very uncomfortable. She told me that he told her that he would love to smell her feet while opening the door for her & that was one of the many issues that made us break our lease & leave. Angel is very attentive to our needs based on my experience but when my daughter told me that a maintenance man in the apartment complex we stayed in makes her feel uncomfortable, I had no choice but to pack up & leave—I didn't want to cause any unnecessary commotion in or around the place I live.

Great property! Tellys, the Leasing Manager, was kind to show me available units and amenities on such short notice, and at the end of his day on a Friday to boot! This property has always been an Atlanta favorite of mine! Truly unique and one of a kind! If you love industrial ‘designer chic’, then you’ll love this property! Book your appointment today with Tellys!

THOUSANDS OF $$$ to BREAK MY LEASE. I grew suspicious that I was being lied to when every available unit I wanted to transfer to somehow wasn’t available. I had a friend call within 1 hour of inquiring about a unit that “ wasn’t available “ only for him to be invited to tour the same unit because it was in fact, available. The grounds are kept well, amenities kept well, emailed communication always nice and professional. The office staff…Angel, has mastered making you feel heard but I can’t help to think she knows exactly what her colleague is doing and I can imagine they have a good laugh about it. Building A, rarely ever sees a broom and mop and if it does, they’re sweeping debris under the vintage cotton mill machinery that probably hasn’t been cleaned in years. I pray you have a better experience than I did. There’s more but im tired and READY TO MOVE.

Great staff! They're friendly and accommodating... Ready to help. We have busy schedules and miss some of the mid-week classes for our youngest but they make switching classes seamless and never seem annoyed by "life". The facilities are ALWAYS so clean!!! Best of all our 3 boys LOVE it! We've been too other swim schools and the boys weren't as thrilled but they warmed up here within the first 2 sessions. Thanks Goldfish Decatur! Keep up the great work!!!

I am so glad a friend told me about Goldfish Swim School… my daughter started swim class at 6 months old and has loved it ever since. The instructors are all so friendly and helpful with the different techniques. The sing-a-long songs are especially fun for the little ones! The facilities are always spotless and the tropical theme is adorable. The heated pool is wonderful. The 30 minute lessons speed by in the blink of an eye - I think I enjoy them as much as my daughter does. I could not recommend Goldfish more!

We started last year and weren’t blown away, but decided to come back this summer and try again. This time has been an amazing experience. The staff has went above and beyond with my son to make sure he is comfortable and progressing. His instructor Jesse pushes and encourages him. And their beautiful manager, Chelsea, greets us with love and a smile every time we enter the building. On my son’s first day, he was nervous and we scheduled him wrong so he wasn’t going to be able to swim. She introduced me to Z who helped get my enrollment together while Chels personally took my son to ensure he could start. She still gets in with him when she has the time, he is so proud of his progress, and I’ve seen her and her staff treat every other student the same. This place is great, give them all a raise!

First, all of the staff here are Amazing! Secondly, Brooklyn is fantastic. She really has helped build the confidence of my daughter. Let's just say, I cannot swim but after sitting for my daughter's classes, I may not have to learn to swim...she can always save me! 🤣

I don't like that there are 3 kids to a lane because my child doesn't get much instruction. That is literally 7-10 min per child each session for a 30 min session. there are 3 kids you should allow 45-60 min time slots so each child gets worked with. 30 min would work fine with 2 children because they get 15 min each.

Unorganized poorly managed joke of a place!! Our 7 YO son has been taking private one/one lessons for 1.5 years; so we have been looking for him to join a swim team. We called Goldfish Swim School of Decatur on July 13, we were told that he was allowed go join their Swimforce class (which is their swim team) and they have availability on Wednesday evenings They emailed us information to sign up and the website allowed us to sign up for the following Thursday at 7:15 PM, because there was no classes to sign up for on Wednesdays. Once we arrived there on Thursday, they told us that thy are about to close and don’t know why their website allowed me to do that. They moved us to Sunday (which was fine) and gave us a credit. Sunday came, we went there early, given that my child has not been through their school to get him acclimated, meet the coach/teacher. I asked the front desk to speak to a manager or the coach to discuss. There was no one to be find, the guy at the desk on Sunday said "Swimforce was a mess." Class started and the teenagers in charge did nothing to help introduce my kid, nor talk to me ahead of the class as I asked nor acknowledge him. My kid started crying his eyes out. They had no clue that he was cry, I had to walk over to the door to get their attention to let them know. We ended up leaving and never going back. What an unorganized mess of a place. If you MUST come through their group classes to join the swim team, the website and the staff should be trained to be able to prevent people to go through all these drama. Stay away from this place. What a freaking poorly managed joke this place is.

Nestled within the scenic Murphey Candler Park in DeKalb County, the Murphey Candler Park Pool offers a serene escape from city life. Recently renovated, this community pool features new bath houses and a diving board. Visitors can enjoy a peaceful atmosphere with ample seating and the option to bring their own food. The pool also includes designated times for adult swimming, allowing kids to play in a separate kiddie pool during these periods.
We had such a great time here. It's very inexpensive, not overcrowded, plenty of tables and chairs, and you can bring food. It was also cool that every 45 mins the kids had to get out of the large pool for the adults to swim for 15 mins, which gave us a chance to reapply their sunscreen and make them drink water. They have a small kiddie pool they can play in during adult swim too. I spoke to one of the lifeguards who told me it was a typical turnout, less than 50 people there. We found our new favorite swim spot!

My daughters and I love this pool we come here almost every weekend and we always try to obey the rules that been said; however, today for a reason one of the staff member a young lady with dreadlocks was extremely rude and the pool police staff members treat the public like kattles.
Horacio C — Google review
Great little pool. Lifeguard on duty was way too stringent in his application of the rules. (Why can't kids be in the shallow end with their parents during no kid time? Is the guy wearing a t-shirt to keep from getting sunburn harming anyone?) There are also rules against string bikinis or any toys in the pool.
Anna E — Google review
I have been coming to the pool for 18 years, it has been good for the most part, sometimes you show up looking to cool off on a hot day only to discover the pool closed for the day with no explanation, this week I have noticed that it has been closed all week, this is a municipal pool that is supposed to be open thru Labor Day, this same thing occurred last year in early August, what gives?
Robert S — Google review
Arrived and went to change in the female bathroom where the floors were flooded. Upon letting the staff know, I was told “oh it’s probably that first toilet”. I waited and was at the pool with my kids for 2 hours and during that time, the restroom was not cleaned. Dirty toilet water on the floor is not only disgusting, but unsanitary. With that being said we went a total of 3 times in the week we were visiting and the lifeguards were rude, constantly yelling, and more concerned with chatting with each other than watching the kids in the pool.
Megs B — Google review
This place is amazing but the only issue is that you HAVE TO HAVE SWIM SUIT It’s like strictly ! I’ve seen people come and they have their culture and like religion not to show their body and this place can not respect that they have to change the rule so they can respect people dressing way atleast ! Because it’s a struggle for those people wanting to come to a nice pool day here at Murphy but they just are strict about swim suit ! And guys with shorts and woman with bikini or swing shorts but oh well
Juli G — Google review
It’s great when you can get in. The first time we went we had to wait 30 minutes for a life guard to show up. The second time the pool was locked up with no sign or explanation of why it was closed an hour and a half before the posted hours. I double checked the website, weather line, and even tried calling the office. it's hard to get excited about anything with such unpredictable hours.

For those who are not yet members, there's an opportunity to purchase a one-day family pass to experience what the YMCA has to offer.
I called this office and got a lady name Kia, something like that. I couldn’t quite understand her pronunciation of her name. I called and ask questions about my membership. When she explained my situation she mentioned an analogy to help me understand the rules of my membership, with a Netflix subscription. When I informed her that this was a bad analogy she then stated with an attitude of confidence it’s not. “ If you don’t pay your Netflix subscription you can’t watch any of the shows” I replied yes but that’s not the rules of the YMCA membership. She was so confident it is. ITS NOT!!!! The YMCA membership have to be paid even if you going or not going to the center. How is that the same? Netflix wouldn’t ask for money of past months. If I pay I pay if I don’t I don’t. I would like her and her co-workers to know she was wrong and to help her out. A better analogy would be leasing a car. The bank will loan me $30,000 for a car with an agreement to pay monthly. If I go any where that month or not I still have to pay the monthly loan. My membership for the YMCA is 109$ monthly. I can even pay 1,308$ for the year or pay monthly. A gym membership and a subscription are two different things. A gym membership I have to sign a contract to not owe. A subscription won’t allow you to watch their programs if you owe. Employees! With attitude! Why these employees allowed to answer the phone and answer questions?

I cancelled my memership through the App in November of 2024 due to an injury. The membership fees continued to be taken out of my bank account for December, January and Febuary 2025 and all I recieved was a "sorry that happend" from the Eastlake Atlanta location. Still working on a refund......
Chris J — Google review
My wife and I cancelled our membership a year ago and the Y continued to charge us. We emailed asking how to cancel twice in August. After not receiving a response to either of those messages my wife cancelled in person on 8/14/24. The YMCA continued to charge us for a whole year, we disputed Sep and Oct charges through our credit card and won those disputes. Our life got a lot busier after that and we didn’t continue to check if they were illegitimately charging us. After explaining all of this to them they only credited back 3 months. We are still owed fees for 7 months. The Y says they responded to one of the emails, but we clearly showed it was never received. They had no comment on the other email, they couldn’t find the cancellation form, and had no comment on why they didn’t respond to the credit card disputes. I foolishly hope someone within the YMCA can read this message and escalate an obvious issue. Practically, if you plan on cancelling your membership make sure you receive written confirmation that it was received and cancelled. I also hope the giving.org complaint process can help us get our funds back.

I cancelled my membership via a paper form and they apparently did not process it or lost the form and the person I spoke to, Michael Defina, implied that I’m a liar and started ghosting me and my husband via email. No professionalism or customer service. Atlanta deserves better than this as the YMCA leadership. They stole about $1200 from my family (I was terrible at checking our credit card statements). He did agree to refund 3 months instead of the full balance but then ghosted us after we said that’s not enough.

I wish Atlanta had higher standards for leadership but at the well-established nonprofit like the YMCA they are comfy in their jobs and don’t actually care about the community. Be very careful about giving this nonprofit your credit card or bank info. After I cancelled, they continued to charge me for 10 months. After I noticed and reached out, I was met with an attitude and hostility from Michael Defina. There were also apparently other higher-ups CC’ed on our emails who never said a word so they seem to approve how we were treated - essentially YMCA denying I cancelled because they are “still looking” for my cancellation form (somehow that takes a month to open a drawer?). I tried to get the person in charge at the Buckhead location on the phone, Patrick Kirwan, and left a voicemail, even after the front desk person said he was in his office he neglected to answer the phone or ever respond to my voicemail or emails.

My family and I was visiting the YMCA of Metro Atlanta a while ago and there was a security officer by the name of Brittany Busch on duty that works for Securitas Security Services USA.This officer was the most disrespectful, rude, unprofessional sorry excuse of a security officer that I'd ever had to deal with. My family or I will not be back to the YMCA in Atlanta!

Their talented team collaborates closely with you from the initial design phase all the way through installation, ensuring that your dream pool not only comes to life but surpasses all expectations. Dive into luxury and create a stunning retreat right in your backyard!
Custom Pools of Atlanta and principals Mike and Danny created a true backyard oasis for us. They guided us through the entire process. Our pool was installed in 2019 and we continue to enjoy it and get compliments now (2024). Great folks and beautiful work!
Kate R — Google review
My favorite thing about Danny and Mike was actually not the fabulous renovation of our backyard, including the beautiful pool and landscaping design. It has been the follow-through. They have continued to improve upon what they've done and worked with us at this .point 2 years after the pool has been installed. They are quality craftsman who care about what they do and want happy clients. We are so pleased with what they did to resolve our drainage issues in our yard and considering that work in conjunction with the pool. it was a challenging situation, and they brought smarts and good design to solve the issues. Truly experts and dedicated. Couldn't be happier.

Custom Pools of Atlanta completely transformed our backyard! Mike & Danny went above and beyond throughout the entire process. From the pool, to the putting green, to the landscaping and lighting, it was even more than we envisioned. Even since completion, Mike has answered any questions that we have had. We cannot recommend Custom Pools of Atlanta enough!
Ashley G — Google review
We just finished building our pool with Custom Pools of Atlanta. This was the easiest thing we’ve ever done! Our pool is gorgeous! The process was so seamless, their crews do impeccable work including the landscape teams. Plus this took only 3 months, probably a record! We would do it again in a second, zero regrets.
Melissa M — Google review
Extremely impressed with Custom Pools of Atlanta. Mike and Danny are consummate professionals who know exactly how to deliver a pool project on time and on budget. My wife and I just finished a pool and spa project with Custom Pools of Atlanta that took 3 months from the start. They thoroughly walked us through the entire process of building a pool, received the necessary permits, supported multiple material changes and handled the entire process flawlessly with the City of Alpharetta on time. Our project had being delayed for over 2 years by another pool contractor and the city, but quickly turned around once Mike and Danny got involved. Their attention to detail, punctuality and intensity on every facet of the project is exactly what is needed to get a pool project done. I cannot recommend them enough… we will definetly be going to them for any future pool projects including landscaping and Outdoor kitchens.

We are extremely happy with the our pool, and entire backyard, created and constructed by Custom Pools of Atlanta. Danny, Mike, and their crew were a pleasure to work with. On time, on budget, creative and professional—even three years after the project, our family still marvels about how they were able to accomplish it all so masterfully. Every visit from friends and family still draws rave reviews.

Mike and Danny turned our backyard into a resort quality oasis. We were excited when we saw the design video but what they delivered was even better. The pool and landscaping are beautiful. The crews were very pleasant to work with and Mike was helpful and patient in guiding us through each phase as the project evolved. We would highly recommend Custom Pools of Atlanta to anyone looking for a beautiful pool and great customer service.
Wendy M — Google review
Custom Pools built a fantastic pool for us in 2022. The end-to-end process was smooth and trouble-free. The computer-generated mockups of the pool helped us visualize what it would look like, and ensured we were both on the same page. Mike is that rare breed of contractor who overdelivers every single time. Its not often that you can say that about a contractor, but Mike is just outstanding. We highly recommend Custom Pools if you are considering building one.

Such a fun park! A gem in this area. Playground was clean and kids were so friendly and welcoming. My kids had a blast here for an impromptu playground session!! There are a bunch of different play areas geared toward different ages 2 and up.

Only issue I had was trying to figure out how to get to the bottom 🤣. We walked half way & gave up (it was hot outside) I wanted to get close to the water. But the waterfall & playground was nice. S/n: edited for spelling 🤭 original review was May 20, 2024

Six Flags Over Georgia is the largest amusement park in Atlanta, offering a thrilling experience for families. Located along Interstate 20, the park boasts giant rollercoasters that will leave kids in awe. It's a perfect destination for a day of fun and excitement.
We came here during our vacation to ATL. Not sure if it’s always that empty but there were no lines to any of the rides and the wait times were less than 5 minutes. We are from chicago so we bought the flash passes thinking we would need them during our visit like we do when we go to great America in IL. The staff is friendly, and the park is very clean.
Elida C — Google review
I visited Six Flags expecting an exciting day of thrills and fun. Unfortunately, my experience was marred by the park's notorious reputation for broken attractions.
David R — Google review
(Translated by Google) I really don't recommend it. We bought a fast track pass, but honestly, almost no one went and there were hardly any lines. I don't know if the machines are just too old or need maintenance. You feel the turns are very sharp. The bigger rides gave you neck pain, and others gave you headaches with the rough turns. Others were closed; you're supposed to pay for all of them. The smells are unpleasant in several areas. We bought refills for drinks, but it wasn't worth it, which is why we preferred to leave. The experience wasn't pleasant, both here and at the water park, which is run down and very dirty. We would never go back to these places.

It's conveniently located near the Civic Center and Georgia Aquarium, making it an ideal choice for travelers. The parking facility is well-maintained with ample space and reliable security measures in place. Guests appreciate the cleanliness of the rooms and commend the friendly staff, particularly highlighting the exceptional service provided by the front office manager, Siobhan.
$10 parking with rates increasing roughly every 3 hours. We stayed for 6 hours and paid $20, super clean lot and constant police surveillance which was reassuring. Roughly 12 stories of parking with 2 exclusively for the hotel valet. We parked and went on a peach tree trolley ride which boards just outside dos bocas. Overall very easy walking distance to the aquarium and Coca Cola world and expected pricing at the end of the day for downtown in a city 😊

My stay here has been nothing short of amazing. *Clean rooms *Service from staff was friendly and very accommodating if I needed anything *The front office manager "Siobhan" went above and beyond the duty of making sure everything was in order with my stay and continued to be a bright, friendly face that welcome myself and colleagues back after a busy day at the Expo

I paid on the ground level as instructed and due to the heavy amount of traffic it took forever for us to exit. I was then charged an extra $10 at the gate. Theres no attendant to help you out either. I paid for the day and yet was charged extra because there was so many people leaving at that time.
