Had the tasters menu + oysters. Really good choice - warmly recommended! The tasters is a very nice assortment that exposes you to a variety of Ukrainian dishes and customs. And the place looks good too. Priced affordable relative to western Europe.

Actually good. We tried Kiev chicken and grilled beef, some tomato salad and herring... Bill came at nearly 1000 hrn, so probably not super affordable, but... Location is nice, the place itself is very nice, service is good, and the bill itself felt kind of reasonable, not shocking, as sometimes is the case here... If you have tourist guests and need to take them to a place with good Ukrainian food, this one might be it. I would probably like more simple Ukrainian dishes on the menu, like the chicken Kiev was, but overall good.

Superb food with great playfulness (try the edible candles). Service is great with staff speaking good English. Live music increases the atmosphere in the already beautiful place, but if you want to talk, get a table in the charming side room. Costs more than most places in town, but well worth it.

My favourite restaurant in Kiev! I went here twice, and both times the meal was incredible and the service was so accommodating, nice and attentive. Can highly recommend the root salad (it doesn't sound like much but it is incredible and the cheese topping makes for a smoky show), and cherry dumplings for dessert!

I've chosen the place because of its good recommendations. First, the place is good, but not that great as lots of people write. Overall, it's a good place for Ukrainian food, and maybe other dishes are much better than the ones I had. The Kraut Vareniky were the best dish I ordered, very recommendable. The rest was nothing special.

I can definitely say that it is one of the best lamb meats I have ever eaten. The fact that it is crispy on the outside and cooked very well must be a separate skill. Apart from this, the rabbit meat borsch soup was also very successful. CiHo served as dessert is very light and delicious. a place that deserves a lot of thanks

Great service and lovely ambiance. Feels very cozy and romantic as if you are in a mountain cabin (Schalet). I had a glass of the Portugal red wine. Although it priced lowest, it was surprisingly smooth and slightly sweet (similar to Georgian wine). I loved it. Food was overall good. Not the most creative but all flavored well. A basket of bread was only 19 UAH and served nicely warm. Highly recommend it.

What an authentic and special place! You can really get a touch of Crimean culture here. The food is very good and the service is great! Note that there is no alcohol but the restaurant allows you to bring your alcohol absolutely for free. Just one of the peculiarities of this spot. Nevertheless the food is very tasty. Didn’t really like the lamb chops though, was a bit chewy. But the rest was good.

A very welcoming cafe. This is a bright representative of the family of restaurants serving homemade traditional Crimean Tatar cuisine. This is not the first time I have been visiting. They make me happy every time. The prices are very reasonable. The dishes are always fresh and tasty. They cook quickly. There are always a lot of visitors here. The staff is friendly and professional. The service is fast and attentive. I recommend the grilled meat menu, soup with small dumplings, manti, chebureki.

Amazing Tatar cuisine, a MUST while in Kyiv (I came twice)

Very fine and tasty qirim tatar cuisine. Fast and friendly service. Fresh Ingredients, nicely balanced spices. Perfect place to drop by for a cup of coffee and a dessert, to have a full meal or even to celebrate your birthday.

Nice cozy restaurant with live music. And most importantly, delicious food! My parents and I tried several types of soups, yantyki and bahwala. And also very tasty hummus and tortilla. I think I will definitely come here again to try other dishes❤️

Everything is perfect. I loved my birthday celebration here . The food was amazing, the service was over the top the atmosphere was great. The only thing is that Ector wasn’t there. But everything was amazing overall. I highly recommend the duck, dim sums and the apple like dessert. I leave everything else to the staff. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

The food was delicious; however, I expected a more authentic taste. The taste seems to be adapted for Ukrainian or European visitors. The staff is super friendly and open. They can even cook dishes that aren't on the menu! Great people and a stylish place.

The food and service did not disappoint. I ordered the Hong Kong soup and salad with duck and citrus fruits, the combination of flavors is excellent, soup with shrimp dumplings and cilantro, on top of buns with a pleasant spiciness. The balance of mushy breast with chili and fruit is simply divine. I don't like sweets, but even the dessert tasted good. The great location for a delicious and aesthetic dinner. We chose a table with a view of the open kitchen. Enjoying the stylish interior and the work of the team at the same time is a great idea.

Absolutely amazing restaurant with great and experienced service. The menu has your staple Chinese dishes, so if you are a regular of Chinese restaurants, you will not need much time to make up your mind. The food balances the traditional recipes with fresh new ingredients delicately crafted on the plate. Our favorite appetizer were the crispy duck spring rolls. The best entree was the kung pao shrimp, and for dessert, the mousse with coconut milk, mango purée and Thai basil. The drink menu is where you will spend most of your time deciding, as all drinks are unique to this restaurant. Whichever you pick, you will be impressed. Our favorite was the Bao Spritz which is made with a house-made bitter liquor and comes a grapefruit sorbet in a passion fruit shell. Not a ding to this rating, but a few recommendations. Rice: they do not bring steamed rice unless you ask for it; something so central to Asian cuisine should come with all entrées. Dumplings: good, but not great; they have not yet cracked the code on how to make them special. We were expecting the shrimp dumplings to have the soup inside. Singaporean rice: missed a key ingredient-chili peppers

This was my first time here. The service was good despite how busy it was. The food was very tasty and my Mongolian beef was the most tender meat ever. They put real gold on top of my dessert. I came back another time for soup snd deep fried duck spring rolls. They are now my favorite spring rolls.

Arguably one of the best, most convenient, fastest and value-for-money places to get Ukrainian food. The buffet-style ordering can maybe be a little intimidating for foreigners nervous about their local language skills but went with someone local so it wasn't an issue - customer service is almost always great in Ukraine if you need help anyways. Went twice in one week and would happily have gone a third.

The food is alright. I've been to Pusata Hata in Lviv, and it was so much better. And I really don't like the portion sizes, they are way too big, I wish you could choose your own amount of food. But it's still convenient since it's very close to the train station

At this moment, this is a new location. Hence the dishes, cutlery and furniture are all nice and new. The food quality is consistent with all other locations. I come here often for no frills food, good flavour and awesome value.

A great variety of good local food. The food is tasty and well-cooked. It’s not a restaurant but if you’re searching a place just to eat well - that’s the good place. On the other hand, the queues are always long.

The place is very nice and cool, although it is quite expensive. Prices are a little bit higher than average. Cuisine is very nice and delicious. One thing that confused me is the new of the fish and a drink below it. At first, I thought that it should be served together, but no, I was wrong. Waiters are super nice and polite. Location is also very nice because it is very close to the city center.

Delicious! Highly recommend! Every dish was absolutely exceptional! Traditional ukranian borsch- fantastic! So were the selection of the 2 kinds of pate. The coctails a little too sweet, (don't remember the name of it unfortunately) but it were served so beautifully. Highly highly recommend. The waiter was a lovely helpful guy too.

Very nice experience. The green Bortsch, the Burger and the barvy cake are really good! Waiter was very friendly. 3 courses, two drinks and Tip about 21,50€. Very modern and cozy atmosphere. The meals where all above standard. The potatoes with a light truffle taste the brioche from burger was very tasty but not good for a burger. That’s maybe why they hand out plastic gloves for eating. The Barvy cake was outstanding tasty. Wit a lot hazelnuts. I think a real calories bomb! I can recommend this restaurant 100%

If this is Ukrainian food, I love Ukrainian food. Variability of dishes, flavored, fresh, healthy and tasty. The ambient was cozy and the waitress was attentitive and friendly. I strictly recomend this place, I’ll go back. Don’t forget to try the cake BARVY!

My friend here in Kyiv recommended this place to me. After eating here, I can certainly recommend it. It’s a modern take in traditional Ukrainian dishes. Each place comes into with a very unique look and variation. I got the Chicken Kyiv, very tasty and just the perfect size. The interior is nice too. Very modern and unique looking. I’ll be back.

Dinning out in Kyiv, well many excellent restaurants. Barvy one of them. A nice blend of Ukrainian traditional and modern cuisine. Well known restaurant within the dinning out community. Location not bad, not the best, but accessible just by walking from the city centre. Interior design modern and table layout allow for romantic date, small parties and for those dinners who would like dine next to the band playing live music especially on weekends. Sitting in the bar counter a nice option too. Quality of food is excellent. So why three stars, right? It is the service, yet again an overall spread disease in Ukraine. I tend to speak to managers. Investing in a restaurant should go along with investing in staff and service approach. Staff spoke English but couple of orders went wrong. Not busy but server forgot to bring few drinks. My advise don't assume servers understand you, but be specific and simple when you place an order. Last but not least, don't mix culinary with POLITICS! I let you check the photos attached to have your own opinion on this. Would I go again? Yes food is delicious, but have a word with the manager. Enjoy!

At first, chairs are not comfortable to eat, only for drink. They offered wine, I asked for a red wine, obviously the guy gave me the most expensive wine in the whole menu (580, 150ml), wine was not put into the glass in front of me, I think I got some cheap regular sweet wine instead. Didn't like it at all. Overpriced. Payment application by QR code was declined. Not safe to pay, my VPN sent automatically blocked it. Waited 15min for payment. Not Vietnamese food, average regular and overpriced. Mosquitos everywhere.

Modern Vietnamese fusion in the center of Kyiv. Located in a tastfully decorated building over at least 3 floors, the atmosphere was chic, modern and cozy, but with sufficient privacy and enough soft furnishings to keep the noise down and conversations flowing. A superb cocktail selection and wine list compliment the unique and imaginative menu. Every dish was fresh and presented beautifully and the taste was delicious. I had read many reviews of Nam suggesting service was an issue but I did not find this to be the case. We had a party of 6, and I asked our waiter to select dishes and matching cocktails for us - this was a very good decision and our waiter clearly knew the menu, and was also able to provide some dishes not in the menu. Overall a 5-star experience and 5-star food worthy of a repeat visit. Expensive $$$ but worth it.

The prices are on par with New York (Manhattan specifically) but it’s absolutely worth it. The food was mouth watering and the presentation was phenomenal. I’m surprised this place doesn’t have a Michelin star yet. If you are looking for a nice date spot with some incredible food, Nam is the place to go.

Nice and cozy place with vietnamese kitchen. First floor is bar and second is restaurant. You can use both for food. But I prefer second one. Food is not suuuper delicious, but for Kiev it’s really good. Middle price is 12-15€. That’s normal price but for Kiev a little bit expensive. Friendly stuff. Huge space, for a lot of people. But it was empty. Interior looks very nice and was playing good music.

Enjoy this place every time , probably my favorite spot overall in Kyiv. Especially seafood is superb here with all this brilliant ideas how to serve and unexpected tastes 🙂 interior is quite interesting mix- huge open spaces combined with oriental decorations make interesting effect and modo for enjoying your meal . Staff is top professional with ...bonuses, was really suprised when young waiter started speaking fluent French with French Friend of mine . It is not cheap but prices absolutely justified and still not too schemacie. 5/5 without any doubt.

Avocado+quinoa wrap was really good! There is also a small shop offering superfoods and some other vegan products like flour, cerob, spices.

The fresh juice is really made from fresh fruit and vegetables, and sandwich with tofu is yummy. Also, I am buying there nuts, vegan desserts and incense sticks.

The best food I had in Ukraine! Unique Ukrainian traditional style and pleasant atmosphere. The staff was friendly, and they would happily assist you in choosing food. They had the most artistic restrooms I’ve ever seen. Super cute and clean.

A local friend recommended this place for authentic Ukrainian cousins. Before we go there i asked to take us to place that reminds her of her grandma's food. And she recommended Pervak! She took care of the orders. I have to tell you this, i didn't expect the food to be this delicious and unique. Am excellent restaurant for traditional Ukrainian food. Good service, good atmosphere, nice food, good selection of dishes well presented and prepared. Visited in Feb 2021, before the current escalation of conflict. I was an avid whisky connoisseur and this place blew my mind. An experience I still think about. The Good -Welcoming Five Star service from the outset -Extensive range of the very scotch -Highly knowledgeable staff. I overheard them guiding some americans through the whisky menu with top-level knowledge -Fine dining food selection. The 'British Pie' was tender, delicately wrapped in a light pastry and had a depth of flavour from the 'Smoky Scot'. A wonderful dish. -The price. If you're used to fine dining in major cities of the world, then you'll be pleasantly surprised when the bill comes. High end food, mid range pricing. The Bad Nothing. This bar is simply amazing. It's a must for all whisky lovers. The range of whisky is fantastic and the knowledge of the waiter was top notch. I can't overstate how fabulous it is.

Nice place uniqe taste and good service. The stake is not close to best steak i ate. The carpachio nice but the mushrooms not feet with it.

Really awesome food. We had beef Wellington and meat pie. Delicious. Goes without saying that they also have a really good selection of whiskey. Highly recommended place although a bit on the pricy side.

This is the kind of place you visit again after a while and say, "why don't we come here more often!" Everything is quality. The food is fantastic and the whisky selection is nothing short of amazing. On Friday nights they also have live music that compliments but does not overwhelm the warm atmosphere.

Quite expensive, frankly speaking, but totally worth it - the best whiskey place in Ukraine! I couldn't check if all 900 names are there, but they are plenty indeed! Special regards to the waiters, who do know their whiskey and can offer good recommendation and add a nice story to it. Food is also very good - the meat was fine and on request a creamy spinach was added as a side, despite it wasn't on the menu. Keep up the good work!

It's a nice enough place, great range of whiskey that can keep you entertained regardless of your price band, but the food really isn't up to the same standard. Definitely edible but far from the British Cuisine it aspires to be.

The place is located in the center of Kyiv, right across from the Khreschatyk Hotel, not far from Independence Square (Maidan Nezalezhnosti). Their burgers are actually pretty good, with very tasty and juicy meat. I wouldn’t say it’s a spot I’d visit all the time, but if you’re in the city center and craving a burger, it’s definitely a place you can happily drop by.

We dropped by for lunch. We chose burgers, and that was a good choice. The burgers were delicious. The service was very good and friendly. I can also add that the toilets were clean.

This place is so damn delicious and cheap. For 6-7 euros you have a glorious burguer. Potatoes and nuggets are also insane. To add more, they give you globes to not get dirty. High quality at low Price :) (btw im from Spain)

Cozy and convenient place where you can have rest alone and together with friends or family. For children is special burger set. All burgers are so tasty. Prices is moderate and city center real impressing :) I recommend it in 100%

Best raw vegan restaurant in my experience, and even if I like cooking and often get better results than some restaurant, here is a serious menu from real restauration, everything I hope for for years. Not only is the food really looking like the photos, but it's also much tastier than it looks. Incredible experience!

Probably one of the best raw food restaurants I've been to. Definitely top 5. Had the guacamole pizza, the Ukrainian Borscht and the Banoff cake. All the dishes were marvelous. Will definitely be coming back. My wife had the salami burger which I stole a piece of. Also very delicious. 👍

I had never had raw vegan food until I ate here, we visited twice during our trip to Kyiv. They have a wide menu and they also have ones written in English which was a big help. Some dishes were better than others but I would definitely recommend the thali and the cheese platter.

A very interesting establishment. First time I tried this kind of food. Ice cream is not cow's milk and cream. Very tasty like a high quality ice cream made in the traditional way. But everything is made on the basis of coconut milk! 👍😄 I recommend. The room is not big inside. There is also a veranda near the entrance to the street. This vegan cafe is not designed for long gatherings. Fast food buffet system. Surprisingly, there are many guests here on Sunday evening (17.00-19.00). Meat burger based on vegetable protein! Great taste. Indistinguishable from a regular meat burger. I recommend this buffet.

I was so excited to go to this place and see a menu full of vegan stuff for a fair price. Saying I was disappointed is an understatement. This unappetizing food is their “Buddha bowl”. Cold, soggy, not fresh and very salty. Also had a burger which tasted fine but was cold away. Do not recommend.

The girl that works there is so nice and smiley, she speaks English very well which is a rare thing in kiev, I got the bacon burger (soy steak topped with grilled tofu and vegetables), it was amazing! Every thing was Fast, warm, tasty and healthy.. the bun was soft also. I really liked that they have all the nutrients and calories written on the menu for each meal.. it was the best vegan soy steak I've ever had! I tried the falafel also it was good but a bit dry. And the orange juice was so fresh and tasty. I took the green 13 burger (tofu,pesto, mshrooms and vegetables) take away with me.. and even though I'm not a fan of tofu but it was amazingly delicious and filling ❤

One of the best vegan fast food you can get out there. The place might be hard for foreigners to find but you just have to find the entrance to the market inside. It is NOT immediately outside the subway or the down by the metro. I got the Budda Bowl and it was impressive. A bowl packed with plenty of flavor and delight! I thought it was amazing that the business was also using eco friendly containers and utensils!

Great vegan food! It looks a bit weird, I admit. You won't expect much from a place that is small and is located inside of an old school market. But you should disregard all of it and try. I had their Green 13 burger with tofu, mushrooms and tartar sauce (twice) and it's great! I also had one of their rolls and candies. And a coffee :) Very good. I wish they get a better place, though I believe this is just a matter of time.

The food is ok but I can feel more taste. I have tried green burger with a tofu cheese and hummus with beetroot falafel, hummus by itself is just very average and dry, but the beatroot falafel is tasty and it save the dish. You can order just a beetroot falafel as a separate meal, but when I came in the morning 10am it wasn't ready yet. I will give this place a second try.

I wish I could give you guys 10 stars !! The best vegan food in Kyiv 😃🌱 I have been to Vegano Hooligano in Odessa, Lviv and now Kyiv.. All have very good food choices but this one particularly is amazing. The food was yummy and the guys also speak English... Must try Tofu wrap and Falafel. I couldn’t find the specific restaurant I ate in but I will rate highly the whole place because it has great service and looks so nice. The only thing I would like to note is The ministry of Chebureks unfortunately had terrible service. The food was great but the service was just terrible. I couldn’t wait to finish my food and leave because of specifically the cashier that was working there. Very rude. The rest of the staff was very kind and cute.

A nice place to visit if you're in Kiev, for example on a Sunday at noon after a good night of partying. Plenty of different food to try and share with your friends. It's definitely very hipster and maybe a bit pricey, but the atmosphere is quite nice and everything is well prepared. I was not a huge fan of the fresh pasta, but the vegan burger from the Japanese stand was very good, as well as the cheesecake.

High sealings and beautiful architecture, coupled with amazing decor and good variety of cuisine make this a great destination for the curious foodie. Tri thre poke bowls, dumplings, and freshly made pasta. Also save time for the tasty desserts. The flourless chocolate cake with caramel is super tasty and the whoopie sandwich is good too. The I've cream is pretty well made. Highly recommended!!

What is good - finally one of the Arsenal’s buildings brought back to life. And now to food: As far as I understand from answers of the owner the concept was to combine restaurants with the best food in one place. I’m not sure this worked: to combine trendy places - maybe yes, but that does not necessarily mean they have the best food. Some sushi rolls for example in the range of 500 UAH and it was ok Chicken Kyiv around 140 though it was tasty. Pasta around 200 and it was ok Also got a dessert from Milkbar and it was a huge disappointment! I do understand the place is not directly responsible for the taste of food their vendors sell, but if you want only places with great food, what does this does do here?! And service was bad (though at this particular place) Lack of toilets (please do not start to tell about the “state standards”) but they are clean with paper towels and this is good No parking lot. There was a comment of an owner that it is being organized, but this is the matter - normally we shall expect all the infrastructure to be launched simultaneously with the place. But of course, parking lot will not bring those profits, so let the guests with this pain of finding a spot. Also smell: we spent there 3 hours I guess, on the second floor and my coat and scarf smell with food like I was at the kitchen. Okay, this place not a disaster - nice design, lively, nice people. But did it manage to bring all the best food in one place - no. Did it manage to deliver good price/quality - no. May pop in for a coffee and a chat with friends but for food better go to some other places.

Pho Bo is my comfort food wherever I go... Viet Bar's Pho Bo doesn't disappoint me! I have eaten there 3 times in less than 2 months and each time the broth were just perfect! The broth is flavourful and portion just perfect for me. Spring roll taste yummy too, although I prefer the fried spring roll better - but that's just my personal preference. The restaurant is located in the basement, with uninspiring interior but still comfortable seating. When the restaurant gets busy, you may have to peek into the kitchen to find the waitress or just wait a bit. The male waitress speaks English and very efficient. We once ordered and it was misinterpreted by the waitress who brought out a different food. We notified him that the order was incorrect. Restaurant quickly brought the food back to kitchen and came back to us saying it was free. Then, they cooked the correct order. What a service conscious restaurant!! I would highly recommend you to try their food!

Great if you want kids sized pho and undercooked chicken. We ordered the Tom kha soup (they call it soup with coconut milk, chicken, and mushrooms), the Pho Bo XXL (large size on top of that) and was greeted with what had to be the world's smallest bowl of pho. The chicken in the Tom Kha soup had a few undercooked pieces but was a normal portion. The fried rice noodles i had with shrimp and chicken had exactly two tiny overcooked shrimp. Flavour was passable but mediocre and service was slow but otherwise unremarkable.

If you consider visiting the restaurant for a BBQ, I highly recommend making a reservation.  It's a popular spot that offers a unique experience for locals.  I've had to settle for a seat at the bar a few times because I didn't book in advance. Initially, I was skeptical about their food.  However, they exceeded all my expectations.  Grilling high-quality meat over genuine charcoal—how could you go wrong?  The availability of soju enhanced the nostalgic experience. One of the highlights was their ramen, which surpassed that of many other Korean restaurants I've visited in different countries.  It featured a strong shiitake mushroom base and just the right amount of broth, firm noodle texture, topped with an egg yolk.  It truly felt as though there was a Korean chef in the kitchen. Should I have the opportunity to visit the city again, I would love to return to this restaurant.  In the meantime, it is my pleasure to recommend this establishment to those who can.

One of the best middle eastern restaurants I've been to anywhere. The mixed grill was absolutely amazing with the veal chops being a particular highlight. Hummus was traditional and excellent.

Very good and authentic Lebanese restaurant. Had a proper mezze here with Kibeh and lots of other appetisers, everything was very tasty. Good drinks, good service and the place itself is gorgeous. They might want to review the background music (had 1:30 hours of 70s and 80s cheesy romantic music) but other than that nothing to complain.

Best Lebanese place in Kyiv. I always order the shish taouk. This time we ordered the cheesecake. And it was well balanced. No too sweet not too bitter. If you order this, it's a good idea for a date *wink* wink. Women dig the sweets. And this sweet dish is a kiss on the cheek guarantee.

Just had a great experience at Chang. We went there without any expectations and without knowing the place. Seems to be quite popular as there were quite a lot of guests even on a Monday night. Still we got very good service. The waitress was very nice, very attentive, and spoke very good English. The food (noodle salad and two variants of spring rolls) was excellent and the desserts (cheesecake and mango/passionfruit mousse) were to die for. Дуже дякую. I'm sure we will be back.

Some of the best Vietnamese food I've had, if you're in Kiev then this place is definitely worth a visit. Staff were very friendly (especially given we didn't speak the language!). They also run the Georgian restaurant next door, and offered us a traditional Easter cake instead of pudding, which was very kind of them.

Awesome restaurant/bar! The food is really good and the service was good. It was quite busy when we came, and we have to wait at the bar for like 5 minute, despite having a reservation, but they brought some complementary drinks while we were waiting. I suggest to reserve ahead of time if you are planning to go on Friday or during the weekend. Portions were big and very very tasty. I don't think is like the more traditional Vietnamese food but is very nice and quiet original anyway.

Great supermarket with huge variety of different goods and brands from local Ukrainian mass market brand and crafted small produce up to very expansive foreign brands. Good assortment of different teas, cheese and meat products. A lot of fresh fruits and veggies no matter it’s summer or winter. And nice stall with superfood powders. Sometimes you can find ridiculously expensive products.

UPDATE: 4 Feb 2020. Since my last review in 2019, Bruce Lee has had a change of management/ownership, renovation, and new menu. Service has improved. The servers are more professional now compared to before when I always felt like the people there serving me were just friends of the owner with some time to kill. The menus are now glossy photo books with Chinese and non-Chinese offerings, further cementing it as a middle-market establishment better suited to the non-discerning. They have retained several of the dishes from the old menu that were closer to authentic Chinese and, as before, they are okay. Still go there out of convenience. OLD: Standards in service and food not very high. I go there out of convenience in location. Mid-market. Dining room adequately comfortable. Some dishes more authentic so it helps to know the menu.

They sure took their time cooking our dishes. Dishes themselves are fine, but don't always meet their description. As such my colleague ordered a dish that is not marked as hot, yet the dish was peppered beyond ones imagination. So don't believe the menu and ask a waiter for clarifications regarding the ingredients.

The odour of burnt oil and weird interior with a flair of Provence mixed with Chinese decor, unfortunately, did not stop my cravings for Chinese food. 2. Waiting time for a soup and a chicken dish was over 50 min (there were two people in the whole restaurant). Both dishes tasted okay, but had little in common with Chinese cuisine. This Europeanised way of cooking is okay, but what was genuinely striking is that the dishes are not served with rice/noodles - one has to order them separately. Considering, that prices are middle-ranged, this was upsetting. 3. When I asked for soy sauce to add to my soup (it was rather tasteless, without salt or spices), the waiter brought them served in funny jars you see in French or Soviet-styled restaurants. Later they asked to pay additionally for the soy sauce. The reply to my arguments that this is not ok and should be mentioned beforehand was simple: "we do not mix our sauce with water like in other Japanese restaurants". In the end they charged money for this, too. 4. This would have been a very low-end regular place you'd go to for the sake of diversity if none of the above-mentioned issues happened. I came back with my clothes stinking of their burnt oil and spoiled mood. I strongly do not recommend anyone to come to Bruce Lee.

This restaurant has a staff who can speak in english and menu board which is written in english. So I didn't have any problems to have a good meal in here. All the staffs are polite and tender. They have really nice Lemonade and Apple pie too.
