Located in a historic building, the Pinchuk Art Centre is a contemporary art gallery that was established in 2006 by Victor Pinchuk. It aims to promote contemporary art and culture through various exhibitions, events, and educational programs. The center hosts solo and group exhibitions by both established and emerging artists, along with lectures, workshops, and film screenings. Additionally, it is home to the annual PinchukArtPrize which supports young artists from Ukraine and the CIS region.
One of my favorite places in Kyiv. I visit this gallery every time I'm in the city. It's free to enter, and you can get an audio guide if you'd like. The gallery has three floors with many rooms, each featuring different exhibitions.

Generally, a nice place to visit. However, there are some pieces that pretend to be art especially among nude photos. A lot of pictures there pretend to be conceptual, but are not art, sorry. There are a couple of worthy ones too.
At the same time there are a bunch of good ink drawings upstairs + sculptures built with neon bulbs and iron bars which we a e used to see on the first floor of any Soviet apartment building.
Fantastic museum. Can't believe that it's free. Very cool exhibits here and a super cute cafe as well. Highly recommend.
Had to wait 40 minutes or so to get in on a weekend, so plan to wait for a bit.

High level museum of modern arts in very center of Kyiv. Great place to visit with family or friends to see exhibitions of Ukrainian and wold known artists

The Children's Landscape Park is a large park with a variety of attractions, including a teapot slide and a playground. It is especially popular with parents and their children, who can enjoy playing together in the open space.

Very cool park, though kind of scary at first for small kids. The teapot slide is very neat and definitely not something you could find elsewhere. If you have kids it is a fun place to spend an hour.

Very nice place for children and parents and people
This place is weird for children but sort of what you'd expect someone who does light drugs to really enjoy. It's a bit creepy but also very fun. The outdated items and the dirt on them add to the charm. The surrounding parks are really beautiful here, however. Worth 60 minutes to see the sculpture part and walk some of the park nearby.

Nestled atop a hill, the Park of Eternal Glory offers visitors a serene escape infused with historical significance. This beautifully designed park features an impressive observation deck that provides breathtaking views, alongside romantic gazebos and winding alleys lined with benches perfect for relaxation. Children can enjoy a delightful playground while families stroll through its expansive grounds, discovering unique corners filled with charm. Originally established in 1894 as Anosovsky Garden by Lieutenant-General Anosov, this area has transformed over the years.
It's a beautiful park that is located in a beautiful place with huge, scenic hills. Everything makes you feel small there, this is probably why I like it so much. It is very peaceful, and it's easy to forget that you are in a place that is memorial for the victims of the war and genocide.

Very poignant place to remember and reflect. The views from this area over the city are spectacular! Well woth a visit, especially as the sun is setting and the heat is getting lower. Should be on any tourists itinerary.
Amazing situated near a big Park of the grand Castle and the stadium of football where the Euro Cup was held and near the Lavra ... you can feel the glory of this place and how much the ukrainian people appreciate at each moment their heroes and hand them the eternal glory throughout an eternal lit Flame ... the names are all engraved all is clean none is neglected ... wow magnificient .
Very well kept and currently construction going on to improve areas off the park. A very touching place in tribute to those off World War. Also to horror off the genocide. Amazing views also to be had.

The Museum its awesome. It's extremely exciting and it's great to know a little more about this very important part of Ukrainian history.
There are many places for the rest in this park and wonderful views on the horizon, on the river Dnipro, on the city. This park is in 5 min to walk from metro Arsenalna.

Beautiful place for walking, jogging and enjoying the nature.
A nice island to have a long pleasant walk in the forest area. There are lakes, where you can rent kayaks and go around the nicenstural area. There is a bike rent, people are jogging and having picnics there.
Good place to cycle and take pictures. It has a lovely view and there is a park near the bridge.
It's a great place to ride a bicycle or roller blades. There is a bicycle line on the road, and few cars.

Hydropark in Kiev is a bustling urban beach and recreational complex located on the right bank of the Dnieper River. This large park offers a variety of water activities, including river beaches, pools, boat and catamaran rentals, and tennis courts. Visitors can also enjoy riverboat excursions, restaurants, cafes, and an open-air gym.
Wow, love it, I have been there in summer spring, and winter, I was there when wether was -28 in warm times rainy days, and... Near the metro there is a lot of restaurant-bar-club you can have fun there, actually, Most locals go there and it is not so attractive for tourists, there is an island surrounded by the Dnieper River, many bridges, beautiful ponds, a good place for photography and entertainment in day and the night, here some of my photos from there ( beach, and one beautiful bridge with water and when it is frozen )

You can have a nice rest or find lot of different activities. With friends or with family. Enjoy your time.
Sunny and good looking place to have a rest with children, there are several river beaches nearby with rescuers. Prices are quite high and games places are old, probably Soviet. But overall it is ok.
I'd like to say that here is the "forgotten area ok Kyiv".

It's not anything mind blowing , but worth paying a visit, if you have spare time. The one single thing that worth seeing the most it the "urban gym" made out of used car spare parts.
Good place with sand river beaches in Kyiv. You can get here by car or subway 🚇. Here a lot of local fast food places as well as cafes and some restaurant. Very nice gym is free. Also you can find here museum of miniatures and some local performances. Some places are from soviet union or 90s looks really terrible. Very cool views on main Kyiv monoments like Lavra highest UA flag and motherland monoument.
Very easy to get by metro of Kiev Red Line (Line 1). Nice Cafes around the park and walking paths. Must see the amazing views of the motherland monument, cathedrals and other historic places from the beach.

Kyiv was, is, and always be magic place. You just should try to feel, see, and hear it. The bridge is one of the new stuff here that can give you these feelings.

Amazing viewpoint with the great park and atmosphere. You will have an amazing view on a river and a historical part of the city. People are playing music, riding bikes, taking photos. Also you can grub some coffee nearby. Unfortunately not all glass floor tiles are transparent.
The bridge is a state-of-the-art construction, well designed, with nice transparent areas made of glass. The wonderful view opens from the bridge. You can see Dnipro river with its beautiful banks covered with trees, a part of city center with riverport and skyscrapers of Kyiv on a background.
Though it was really criticised, the bridge became one of the favorite places of locals and tourists. One of the benefits - the places around became much more lively, there is always live music over there, street vendors closer to the fountains on the Saint Volodymyr Hill park. Another good thing - both Saint Volodymyr Hill and Arch of Diversity became connected and now there is no need to go all the way around to get from one place to another. The drawback is that during weekends it is really crowded. Good views on Trukhaniv Island and Podil. Not much use of the bicycle lane, as its always pedestrians walking there so its kinda messy.
Definitely one of the best places to view Kyiv. In summer, you could hear some musicians playing good music. If the sky is clear enough, it's even possible to find people with telescopes to view stars or Moon. Only for 50uah :p

Art-zavod Platforma, located near the Lisova metro station in Kyiv, is a former Communist-era factory that has been transformed into a vibrant entertainment area. This urbanistic venue hosts various events such as concerts, festivals, and art exhibitions. Visitors can explore the abandoned workshops while enjoying music, food stalls, hookah lounges, and even alcohol vendors. The site also features wacky sculpture displays and offers ample parking space nearby.
Awesome industrial complex turned into a huge space for festivals, art platform, hipster market and more. I was here for a food festival, so much space, clean and very organized. We were also blessed with a wonderful weather.

Lovely place for an outdoor events. Visited for Kupala festival and there were plenty of foods and music. Very nicy comfy place.
It is very interesting venue in urbanistic style. The old and abandoned manufacturing plant became an entertainment area for all kind of concerts, festivals etc. Usually there are a lot of points to buy some meal, sometimes you can try a hookah and some alcohol. It is a great experience to walk around abandoned workshops, listen to favorite music and have a good time with your friends. There is a lot of place to park your car nearby.
Love this place, it's good to know that on that place you can escape from your daily routine and relax by watching movies on the open air, playing basketball or chess, drinking cocktails, enjoying meal, but important one-talking and fulfilling your time with brilliant people
That's just a great place to chill with friends. Food courts, music, hookah, art exhibitions- really like it. Almost every weekend they organise festivals or kind of parties. Awesome especially during the summer.

The National Museum of Ukrainian Architecture and Culture is an open-air museum located in the south of Kiev that displays traditional Ukrainian buildings from different regions. The museum is a great way to learn about the traditional lifestyles of Ukrainians in different periods. There are more than 300 buildings, some dating back to the 16th century, in six villages that have been reassembled here.
Wow! It looks like a place where historical films about Kievan Rus are filmed, but this is real architecture. This is a very large national museum of the life of the Ukrainian people. It seems that the village, which is 100 years old, was simply moved in time and placed in the middle of the forest. You don't see the end, you see the beginning. Even in a moment you forget what year it is.

Feels like you go back in time. I haven’t been to this place for many years since I was a kid and now visiting with my international husband it was very special feeling. I get to show him my Ukrainian culture and he get to know more about Ukraine and people. It was very beautiful experience especially during the war… make you value all of it more. Also we had food there and home made “moon shine” so tasty!
Well worth the visit! You get to see how people used to live hundreds of years ago.
This is open air museum is a collection of authentic houses and churches from all over Ukraine. They were dismantled and reconstructed in this historical park. Some houses are more then 200 years old. I’ll of the houses are original (not reconstructions). Most of the are open and decorated with authentic household items. It’s very interesting to see what people were using during their daily life back then. Churches are still used today for service and during holidays.
When you’ll get hungry you’ll find plenty of great authentic food on the premises.
It will take you several hours to see the whole park, so schedule at least ½ day. You can also rent bicycles and get to places faster. In fact many locals come here just to ride their bikes.
It is a great retreat from city life. Even though the park is in the city, you’ll feel like you are in a village.

Beautiful park and area just out of the center of Kiev. Worth a visit if you have more time and like such remote, historic and different locations, the day was really warm and sunny and this really made the experience very memorable. Little orthodox churches are simple outside, but so beautiful inside. The smell of wood very unique. Make your day a bit different and come here, plenty to see, area is really big, good location to take some beautiful pictures as well.
You can spend about 3 hrs walking around here and the structures are beautiful.In one section there are later architectures in brick all representing different regions of Ukraine. Plenty of space to lay down a blanket and picnic or snooze. Plenty of shops for food and souvenirs for the tourist.
It's obvious that this place could use some work but even with that it deserves 5 stars. Great overview of the traditional Ukrainian huts. When I visited not all the huts were open, which was a good thing because I was able to see a little bit of everything. Be prepared for a lot of walking.
It is truly an amazing place. There are so many exhibits of almost all kinds of colonies of Ukraine. The Carpathian regions, the Dnieper regions etc. One should have ample amount of time to roam about the area. At least 3-5 hours are required to explore this place. My recommendation will be to rent a bicycle to have the best experience. There is a nice place to have food inside the territory as well.

Park Kyoto is a Japan-themed park in Kyiv, opened in 1972 to symbolize the friendship between Kyiv and Kyoto. The park features spring cherry blossoms, a rock garden, stone pagodas, and a replica of Mount Fuji. It also includes a small thematic park with a pond, bridges, stone lanterns, and a statue of the hiking cat Tiapa. Visitors can enjoy the serene Japanese ponds and take leisurely walks on smooth pathways.
Noisy (betwen road and highway) but very cool place. We missed the cherry blossom (at May 2021 was very crowded) but just for a walk and short picnic good and interesting place.

It's a micro thematic park inside of a big park. The small thematic park has small pond with little bridge over it and stone lanterns around, it also has garden of stones and stone tower. There is also a statue of the hicking cat Tiapa. Overall it is 5 stars to the small one and 3 to the big.

The Peoples Friendship Arch is a large, rainbow-shaped arch built in 1982 to honor Russia and the Ukraine. The arch spans 50 meters and is located on a viewing deck overlooking the River Dnieper. It was designed by architect N Ivanov and is one of Kyiv's most popular tourist attractions.
By day or night the views beyond the arch are stunning. Bring a picnic and just relax collect your thoughts or enjoy time with family and friends. 5 minute walk from independence Square.
Bridge after arch leads to beautiful grounds and steps ( and I mean a lot off steps) not disabled friendly once at steps. Steps lead all the way to the river below.
I enjoyed this sight by day and night. Night after dark being the nicer. Seeing the city by light.
Buskers around that you can just loose track off time enjoying there arts.
Segway tours start from here also. Stunning beautiful and heart warming is this place.

Some really spectacular views here. The pedestrian bridge is very close, and it looks stunning at night. When I went during the evening, there was someone giving a live musical performance. Despite knowing zero Ukrainian or Russian, I still found it very enjoyable.

Very scenic location to gain broad vistas of the lower city and right bank. Interesting and long history of the "Russians" and "Moskivites" leading to the gift of the arch from to celebrate an anniversary with Ukraine. Recent political difference causes local artists to protest by painting a crack on the friendship arch. Center statue and stone monument placements redundant of the celebration between Russia and Ukraine.
This is a must on any Kiev itinerary. Setting aside the political significance of this place, it's just a beautiful area to hang out. The arch itself is an amazing structure. Was very surprised to learn it dates back to 1982 because it seems so modern. I hope a way is found to preserve this space even if it involves a major reinterpretation of the art.
You want a better view of the city? Here is your chance to walk through the Volodymyrsk Hill, pass the glass bridge and reach to Friendship of Nations Arch. Incredible view of the city!

One of the most beautiful parks in the city of Kyiv. Pleasant and comfortable for walking. Especially at this time of year. On weekdays, it is quite free and there is an opportunity to have a good time. It is more crowded on weekends.

Every Kyivians favourite city park and easy to see why.
Set up on a hill, this grassy and wooded area is peaceful (in parts, not by the playground obviously) and is quite well-kept and clean. It has great views of the Dnieper River and lots of bits and pieces to see and visit (both within and the immediate vicinity), from a funicular railway to many statues and monuments.
My favorite park in Kyiv and real place of power. Used to be the place that Bulgakov called the most beautiful place in the world. All my walking tours guests really love being there. After reconstruction it became much more lively with all the artists, street musicians and fountains. Also perfect for watching sunrise.
Come here for the music of Igor Yanchuk who plays at sunrise. You will not regret.
My favorite part of Kiev is city center of course. Here you can see amazing architecture, nice views, churches etc.. this time i had not a lot of time here so couldn’t visit all beautiful places. For sure you can google more and then visit them🙂

It is a lovely park. Good place for a walk or for nature gazing. There are places for children to play and the breathtaking views on Dnipro river and its many bridges are aplenty. There are noisy and quiet places (more of the former at the moment as lower parts of the hill are in the process of being rebuilt and the new bridge is close to being finished). There are a lot of beautiful blossoming trees and bushes for beautiful photos and selfies)) And the natural energy is staggering too. Enjoyable place for rest and relaxation, also with a lot of statues made similar to ancient folk art.
One of the best places in Kyiv. Must to be visited by every tourist at any season. But spring and autumn are preferred.
The new bridge is constructing and will join the Hill to another park on the next side of the road.
It's a great place to visit over hills. It is located near the National Friendship arch in KYIV.

There are multiple water bodies and lakes that give a very serene look and lovely picnic spots...
The Monastery has its own history and charm... felt very peaceful in that surrounding...
I saw some cycle enthusiasts riding bicycles on the mud track... there is also a ski-resort that must be active during winter months...

This place is already fantastic and it has so much more potential... The nature is breathtaking and it is do different - park, small river, few lakes, quite wild forest, different birds around => it has amazing energetic. For me it was astonishing to discover this place after like 20 years of living in Kiev, despite it being located in almost centre of the city and like 8 km from my home. Running helped me to discover it - it is not perfect running area due to a lot of hills and wild forest area mostly - it is hard to find routes in average conditio to run comfortably, nevertheless i already did 2 freestyle run - trial attempts and was fascinated. I love this area and plan to discover it better and better and to spend time with Family where. A lot of different surprises are there to be found - large Pravoslavian Churches complex, bathing source in the forest, stud farm with horses, huge orchard etc

Very nice place to have a walk, or even small hike. Good for cycling, orientation games. Has beautiful hills, forests, lakes, swamps, creeks, valleys. Old pines, oaks, hornbeams.
Also has really reach wildlife as for big city - ducks, owls, foxes, hares, geese, squirrels, nuthatches, woodpeckers, nightingales, bitterns, landrails, jays.. so actually great for birdwatching too)

It is a peaceful big park on the left bank of the Dnipro river, known for its greenery, kids attractions, Kyiv Eye panoramic view circle, hokey stadium all year long with figure skating equipment renting, bike renting, open air gym, small zip line perfect for kids, adventure park, small river with boats to rent, picnics place, church and monuments dedicated to the victims of the II World war.
It is easy for wheelchair access across the whole park, as well as one can enjoy walking, running, boating and other sports activity here.
The territory is huge so one can spend several hours.
Till 9 am the park is in the sleeping mode, but since it’s opened 24 hours there are runners & pets lovers.
In the evening it’s full of people, but there is enough place for everybody!
It's big, and good park overall. One of those parks, where visitors contribute to the score. What it is lacking is some trails for cycling and running, or at least I didn't notice them. But it has water lake with boats! And a FREAKIN' TANK!!!

Красивый памятник , один из древнейших фонтанов в Киеве. Находится недалеко от метро Контрактовая площадь . Выделяется на фоне недостроенного здания . Сейчас фонтан после реконструкции при поддержке главы города. Выглядят чистым , здесь часто проводят экскурсии, место сбора туристов и гидов. Памятник является архитектурной памяткой. В своей истории фонтан был уничтожен , и после некоторого времени восстановлен. Часто продавался вандализму , сейчас он в самом лучшем виде. Есть камеры наблюдения, охраняется законом.

Park Natalka, located in the southern part of the Obolonska embankment in Kyiv, has undergone extensive reconstruction to enhance its facilities and aesthetics. The park now features leafy riverside paths, picnic lawns, a paved maze, and sporting facilities including a soccer field. New additions such as observation platforms, arbors along the Dnieper bank, playgrounds, and mini-football fields have been incorporated.
My favourite park in Kyiv. An Oasis of Obolon! Love it early mornings and late evenings! Amazing place to walk every day or to spend a day off with family or friends...Everything is there to reconnect with nature and relax. I was lucky to live nearby. Miss it so much now!!!

Beautiful and picturesque place to walk around. Nicely done, well maintained, good views, clean and adequately large. Good place to have an evening walk along the marina, enjoying city lights and bridge view over the river.
It's very cozy park area, no trading and waste from it. Especially good time when no people - workdays and late evenings on weekends. Lots of sport and kids courts. Nice Dnipro river views. Boat Station on summer time. Golf club. Ancient Pochaina river mouth nearby.

Wonderful park! The best one you can find in Kyiv. Possibilities to play fotball, take a nice walk or just chill. The Dnipro river is nearby as well as the Obolons'ka Naberezhna embankment with other facilities, beaches and sport activities such as volleyball.
Great park next to the river for all ages. Playgrounds for kids of different ages, football field, quite areas, lots of benches and tree-full shaded paths.
The park is very well looked after. There are new benches, lampposts and beautiful flower beds around the park. And there is a clean WC which is very important when you walk with a child.
Good place for walking, running and yoga. There are a tennis court and places for football, basketball and crossfit. You can have a sit and make a small picnic on the lawn. There is also a bike path that runs along the promenade and through the park. A toilet is at the entrance to the park.

The Heydara Aliyeva park is a beautiful and peaceful place to spend time alone or with friends. The park has a mosaic ancient carpet replica as well as a statue of the namesake Azerbaijani president. The trees and waterfall are also lovely features of the park.

Small Park with beautiful trees and waterfall. Nice place to spend time alone and think. Although it is situated Just near the road, so you will hear constant sound of cars.
The park is unbelievably beautiful though small. But surrounding streets are very busy and thus noisy making the stay not quite relaxing.
