Local spot with no frills, but good quality food. All 3 servers I encountered were so friendly, one even called me over away from my table to show me the view during sunset (must have saw I was taking pics of everything), lovely experience dining on my own. Can’t recommend it enough!

Cozy little place. My fiancé and I had a tapas lunch here and were very pleased. However, the most important thing: GET THE ESQUEIXADA. It is the best, most delicious , and perfect dish I have ever had. Don’t miss this 👏

Love this place! Without a doubt, they have the best cava sangria in town. The atmosphere is absolutely wonderful and so quaint, perfect for a relaxed afternoon. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting outside. The kids loved it too! Don't even get me started on the food – the bravas were great, and every Spanish dish we tried was delicious. Our waitress was also lovely, adding to the overall fantastic experience!

The climb to this amazing La Lluna is well worth it. The best Tinto Verano is made here. We will definitely go back and try the food menu 😋 5 stars from me

The best Patatas Bravas we have ever had. The sauce was slightly spicy and delicious! Cute, quaint, outdoor eating area you would expect in a little town. BUT, the young female waitress was so rude to us, probably because we are not local/Spanish. She was very friendly and smiled to other customers who spoke Spanish. She was borderline rude to us. Even when I tried to compliment her on her establishment she is still showed me her RBF. I would go back next time before we visit if it were not for her.

The beach is very picturesque and is located in a bay. There is a large number of places for towels, and it is also possible to rent sun loungers. There is a parking lot nearby for 4 euros per hour under a barrier, we parked the car in the blue parking zone, which can be paid for using the Telpark app. The beach is not mixed, but small pebbles, the entry into the water is pleasant. The water temperature is refreshing and slightly lower, compared to Barcelona and Salou. There are quite a lot of nudist girls on the beach, so if you are traveling with children, think twice. If you are a single man, you can not think) Near the beach, enough cafes and a grocery store with a good selection.

A hidden gem. We came to this restaurant twice it was so good!! Highly recommend the Catalonian bread and the burrata salad!! All the mains were amazing too. You need to make a reservation as there is always a queue at 8pm when they open. Amazing service 10/10!

It's a bit of a touristy restaurant, but it has a great sea view. It's not the best restaurant I tried in Tossa del Mar in terms of food, but the food was still nice. There was a limited selection, as quite a few things on the menu were sold out, despite we were first round of customers eating, but with current covid situation, I think it's understandable. Need to book to avoid disappointment

Not bad, mussel was amazing, but I can give advice to serve the vangols in a deep dish. And also will be the good idea to serve together with bread.

Food is super fresh, cooked perfectly and priced really well. Totally recommend but if you want to make sure you get seats be sure to book or come early. Locals eat at around 2:30pm so come around 12-1pm.

Host kindly squeezed us in without a reservation and we had a lovely table surrounded by plants with great views of the beach and castle. Tapas were delicious and the service was friendly and attentive, booked to go back later in the week.

Wonderful tapas. Fantastic super efficient staff in a 'proper' pub type establishment. We absolutely loved it here. The food is fresh cooked to order, you can watch the chefa doing their job while you have a beer. You can also just call in for just a beer too. Excellent! A very authentic Spanish experience. Their food is delicious including a diverse range of embutidos, tapas hot and cold the selection of drinks are great too. The service was professional and friendly. Some reviews are saying this place is too expensive but you need to look at where and the kinds of food and service you are getting. It’s in the heart of the tourist area of Tossa however you will get much better than some other places in the area. I recommend not be fussed by the other reviews and give it a go because you only live once and money comes back but time never will. We went back twice and I highly recommend it.

Had a great time here. We had a feast of tapas with drinks to end our last night in Tossa de Mar. The place had a very cozy tavern feel, unpretentious and very reasonably priced. The Jamon Iberico was great! Shout outs to Gorky (I hope I spelled it right? I remember he said he's from Ecuador) we had a great chat with him.

Located in a central spot, this restaurant has a very traditional and charming atmosphere. The decor has a lot of personality, and the vibe is great. The traditional dishes were flavorful and well-prepared. However, the service was a letdown, feeling a bit too casual and unprofessional for my taste. The tables weren't as clean as they should have been, especially considering how busy it was. Additionally, I found the prices to be quite high for the quality of the food. It was a good experience overall, but not one I'd repeat. It's a nice place for a one-time visit to soak in the atmosphere, but the service and value for money didn't quite hit the mark for me.

We visited Cala Banys in Lloret de Mar, a famous café with a beautiful view. We were a group of 9 people, going there based on recommendations to enjoy their coffee and the scenery. Unfortunately, the customer service was extremely poor. The staff showed clear annoyance and told us they would not serve coffee because we were a group. Even when I went alone to the bar, they still refused to serve me, simply because I was part of the group. We would have had no problem waiting, but we were not even given that option. The waiters were cold and unpleasant, showing no respect or courtesy. This experience only confirms the many negative ones I have had in Spain. For a country so dependent on tourism, the lack of appreciation and respect for visitors is unacceptable. After my second visit with repeated disappointments, I no longer believe this country deserves the tourists it receives. I will share this negative experience so others know what to expect.

This place seems to be popular with locals and best known for their burgers. However we chose to order burritos and patatas bravas, none of which was that great, to be honest. The price was very affordable and service was quick. It was in a quiet street, further away from the beach which is a plus.

Very bad experience at this bar. Specially the service. That one guy i think he is the owner of this bar, was very rude, unprofessional and he got some attitude problems. I thought i am the only one who been through this but after seeing the comments of other peoples now i am sure that guy have some issues. Although the lady server was very nice.

We visited this bar for the first time this year after reading rave reviews and were not disappointed. The burgers are delicious, prices are very reasonable and there's a great ambience as it is a traditional bar. Service is great too-even although we had a mix up when ordering (mainly due to our attempt at ordering in Spanish), the manager quickly and politely sorted it out. Will go again on next holiday!

We wandered into this little corner restaurant and it did not disappoint! A nice, warm, old gentlemen welcomed us in and make sure we were comfortable in the weather. Took time to take our orders and ensure we gotten what we wanted. The cim i tomba IS A MUST TRY! The stew is so rich with flavour and everything is fresh and so tender. We travelled thru Spain and collectively agreed that this is one of our top 3 spots for paella. The food is fab, service is amazing. I felt compelled to write a review cause more people need to visit this place.

Ask for the price of the fish of the day before ordering it or you can have a nasty surprise of paying 60€ for a shared dish of fish consisting of two small filets. Otherwise food was very tasty but expensive

Excellent food in general with great variety and a special touch for every dish that makes it special. Desserts, empanadas a bunch of other treats and dishes to make it worthwhile. Have repeated, will continue to do so.

This was one of our favourite food stops during our time in Tossa de Mar. The inside seating and decor is really nice, and the seating in the square is equally pleasant. The staff were very friendly, the drinks reasonably priced and they have the best Biscoff crepe I’ve ever had!!

We went to Seina restaurant several times during our stay and every meal was excellent. The owner was very helpful and courteous and the staff were friendly and efficient. Prices were reasonable for the location. The outside seating in the pedestrianised square was lovely and relaxing and allowed us to watch the world go by as we ate. Highly recommended.

For a tourist restaurant this place is pretty good. Very tasty dishes especially the eggplant chips with Greek cheese and honey. Also the scallops. Friendly staff but they hovered around a bit much. This time of year they could be more relaxed. Overall - recommended.

Very nice tapas bar at the hill top. Please check the opening hours at the website since it changes by the season. When I arrived there was no food just olive and fries but it was still wonderful to have a drink and enjoy the view.

During a day trip to Tossa De Mar, as my family and I were climbing the castle walls, we stopped by this terrace bar with amazing views of the beach. The ambiance was perfect for a beach day lunch break. The cava sangria (incredible) and simple Spanish tapas were great snacks to fuel us mid way through the day. We had such an enjoyable experience that we returned later. I would 100% come again if I return to Tossa.

Great spot in the way up to the lighthouse, inside the walls. Amazing views of the bay, good food at reasonable prices, the staff working there was correct (also recommending what to order considering the size of the tapas) and wider open schedule than other places around.

This is a lovely quaint place that has a very good atmosphere feeling. The Villa Vella is set in a steep well paved road. We had a fantastic orange mango strawberry and cava sangria. Very nice and very fresh against the heat. A few plates of tapas to go and we were very happy. Part of the atmosphere was due to a person playing nylon acoustic guitar and singing. Very nice. The other was the rustic (but not worn out) vibes. The staff were tremendously friendly. Worth a stop if you're passing for sure 😃

I had such a lovely experience at Loop Café in Tossa de Mar! I tried the salmon bagel with a fresh orange juice, and it was absolutely delicious, super fresh ingredients and beautifully presented. The café has a really cozy vibe, friendly staff, and a great atmosphere to relax. Definitely a great spots I found in Costa Brava. Highly recommend!

I love this place, it is perfect for a quite brunch/breakfast. It is really clean and the lovely and natural decoration is making you feel like home. The service is amazing, the owner and the ladies are always smiling and kind. The food is super tasty. I particularly love the chai tea and the avocado toast. They have gluten free + veg options, which really changed my life in town as no other bar offer these options.

The location is beautiful, magical and easy to find. The beach is clean, with waves and plenty of jellyfish. The bungalow is small with basic facilities. Bed linen and towels are cleaned and changed every 4 days. The service in the restaurants is bad, the employees are not in a good mood, they don't know English. Poor choice of food that is not tasty and it is expensive. The camp is very clean. The children's animators did a great job. The atmosphere in the camp is nice and calm.

Beautiful camping spot, recently completely renovated. In the middle of a very nice Green Bay. Reception service can be improved. Same goes for the cleaning of the toilets and showers. Beach is public and can be crowded but that’s manageable

We had the best camping experience in Spain so far. We stayed in the pool tramuntana with my husband and 1.5 year old son for 5 days. So comfortable facilities, pool is great for little ones, the activity room is also fun. They provide a comfy baby cot. The cala can be quite crowded in the afternoon so save your spot in the morning. Do not expect amazing food at the restaurant but serves decent stuff. The market is quite nice, you can find good quality food. The bungalows are on a quite hilly space and is not easy to walk with a stroller but everyone manages somehow:) The aesthetic of the overall place is a winner.

Lovely location. Beautifully renovated and the beach is stunning. This could have been the best campsite ever. But then there is a big downside though; the bathrooms and showers were not cleaned over the 2 days we’ve stayed here. The same stains of pee were on the toilet seat. Also The sink, the counters and walls in the shower had many disgusting stains of toothpaste and soap that’s been there for ages. The cleaners did come by, but they would sit down watch video’s on their phone until their time was up. Many management should do a check at least everyday… It really is a shame, since this could be thé best camp site we’ve been. It’s so well set up, but then it’s not cleaned and very dirty…Hopefully this will be fixed! 🤞🏻

Great location, great for families, bungalows are quite small (the public showers are bigger) services have odd opening hours and they close very early for Spanish and vacation standards. Food at the restaurants had no taste.

We holidayed in July for a few days at Camping Cala Pola and we loved it! We were very pleased with the picturesque beach, the magical nature and a pleasant holiday in a clean, comfortable, well-maintained campsite. We really enjoyed the pool and the children enjoyed the entertainment programme. They were delighted! The food is delicious and quite varied. On the terrace on the beach was one great pleasure to have breakfast and enjoy the view of the sea. We were served by two very friendly and professional waitresses Alena and Svetlana, who were always able to advise on the choice of dishes and answer any question. This is the most marvellous place for family vacation❤️. We will definitely come back to you, but most likely we will choose the season when there are less people.

I think this is the best place to be in Costa brava. It's trully genuine and picturesque. The beach, the grounds, the bungalows everything it's a gem. We are staying in the beach bungalow, just a couple of steps to the beach and the pool. Everything is spotless and the staff is really kind especially the security guys keeping the place safe also during the night. They are very kind and help with any question. Service is 5 stars. On the beach you can rent a sup via app which I find fantastic. The grocery shop is small but has everything you need and prices are for some items even cheaper than in Tossa town. Guests at least during our stay were very polite and not noisy. The water pressure in the shower is great, the towels are plenty and there is a small kit for washing dishes. The sea is fantastic and there is plenty of fish to watch if you snorkel. The walking path leading to Tossa town from the Cala Pola is amazing. Walking through pine forest with fantastic stops with breathtaking views. We'll definitely come back!

Tequila 85 Shisha Bar serves excellent drinks and has a lively, high-energy atmosphere. The place is definitely loud, but the very friendly staff make the experience enjoyable and welcoming.

Might be the best bar I’ve ever experienced. It was a Saturday night but it wasn’t busy so me and my sister were able to sit wherever we wanted. The staff is incredibly nice, never saw something like that, and the atmosphere was great. Want something else ? The prices are crazy! 6€ for a delicious homemade cocktail ! Had good coffee there. No complaints. My misses had a kinder joy ice cream and was the happiest person afterwards. Next day the same thing, and the cookie ice cream made her even happier. Safe to say, the ice cream is worth the money!

The food & service in this place has dropped over the past years. Literally got served cheese & ham croquettes which were still frozen inside. Staff seem disinterested & lax. It's a shame because this place used to be lovely.

Lovely place, really is a hidden gem. The manager is very friendly and has really made the place look amazing. Been to Mick & Julies a few times over the last 2 years and we have been greeted politely and when my wife arrived in a bikini top we apologised and Mick found a Tshirt for her to wear! Lovely bar will definitely be back!!

This is a cracking little bar that's tucked away down a side street. I had a couple of beers and that was all. I did see some food passing me and it looked very good. I recommend that you try the place for yourselves! Nearly forgot there's a well kept pool table and also one of those table football games. Great to keep the kids quite for a while. Oh yes friendly staff as well, always a bonus.
