A vegan heaven ✨ If I had 10 stars, I'd put them. The food? Mind-blowing. The coffee? First of all, I don't drink regular coffee. And I found here decaf 😭 And it was beyond good. One of the best quality coffees I've ever had. The restaurant? Beautiful. And most of all, quiet. With clients that respect each other. I can't stand anymore all these tourists doing whatever they want such as they are in their living room. And the variety of foods, drinks, sweets? Large. Alchemy was a very, very, very pleasant surprise 🙏💖 (And yes, it's a little bit expensive, but almost same prices you can find in other places with not such quality and variety. It's your choice after all) ☺️

Alchemy is always a reliable choice, whether for tea, lunch, or dinner – even their yoga studio is amazing. I especially love their herbal tea and always buy a pack to take home. This time I tried the Capricciosa pizza for the first time, but it was too salty for my taste. Not sure if that was intentional, as I usually love Alchemy’s food for being simple and mild in flavor.

Absolutely loved Alchemy Ubud! The coffee is rich and smooth, and the açaí bowls are fresh, vibrant, and delicious — the perfect healthy treat. The whole menu is creative vegan food done right. I had the green curry which was comforting, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. You can tell they use super fresh ingredients. The matcha was smooth, earthy, and no bitterness at all, just the right balance. And the coffee? Rich, aromatic, and satisfying, honestly one of the best cups I’ve had in Bali. The atmosphere is also amazing, calm, open, and beautifully designed, with lovely staff!. Whether you’re vegan, health-conscious, or just looking for genuinely delicious food, Alchemy is a gem.

Alchemy has been my living room while staying in Ubud. As much as I tried or wanted to explore other places, I always come back here because it just feels like home & the staff, menu, variety and experience is just amazing! Highly recommend the salad, green waffle, ice cream and breakfast bar!

The café has a lovely environment, very cozy and beautifully designed. However, the drinks were really disappointing. All the herbal and floral teas tasted strange and unbalanced. The almond milk matcha latte was especially bad, it tasted sour and unpleasant

I wish I could eat every meal here ;) Absolutely loved the creamy mushroom pasta special and omega brownie. The pasta was filling and so flavorful, same goes to the brownie- not too sweet, exactly how I enjoy my dessert. The atmosphere was clean and aesthetic.

If you're vegan, you don't want to miss this amazing restaurant! The place is stunning, the menu is full of options, and the prices are very reasonable. The staff is attentive to detail. I went there as a solo traveler and I loved the food (including the gelato) and the whole experience.

Did a quick stop for drinks and already want to come back. Ambience and decor was amazing. It’s very immersive with a koi pond and variety of places to sit and relax. Got the lemon drop tonic and chocolate latte, both tasted fresh made with local ingredients. I like how they separate the simply syrup so you can customize the sweetness level for the latte and have vegan milk options. Would recommend!

Yummy food, very beautiful and peaceful place. Only 35 euro for 3 people each had a starter and main dish, drinks and even a big bottle kombucha. We had a vegan, a fish and meat eater, all happy. Update: unfortunately I had Bali belly after the vegan wrap. It never digested even not the next day, I had diarrea all the time and than I gave up and throw up the wrap. How it’s possible not to digest by the next day, it’s really amazing. Had painful cramps and many many gasses… I’m very sorry about it because I really liked the place so much🥺

Visited Clear Cafe in Ubud recently, and I absolutely fell in love with the space! The café has such a bright, airy, and inviting atmosphere, a perfect blend of comfort and style that makes you want to linger and enjoy every moment. I tried their Nasi Goreng, and it was absolutely delicious, flavorful, perfectly cooked, and served with such care. I loved it so much that I kept asking for extra sambal, which they happily provided, making the dish even more enjoyable! On top of that, I tried several of their fresh juices, and each one was refreshing, vibrant, and made with high-quality ingredients that complemented the meal perfectly. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making the visit feel warm and comfortable. Whether you’re looking for a healthy meal, a fresh juice fix, or a relaxing spot to unwind, Clear Cafe is the perfect choice. Overall, Clear Cafe is a must-visit in Ubud for anyone who enjoys delicious food, tasty drinks, and a beautifully curated space. So good to be back! Been in love with Clear Cafe for a few years so happy that the food, service and ambiance are as good as I remember. It’s a heaven for vegetarian and vegan but I believe omnivore can find something that they enjoy too.

The location is wonderful. Such a beautiful, peaceful, and welcoming place. We came here for breakfast, and I had the matcha lattes and a "Dragon Flight" smoothie bowl. It was truly delicious. The staff was very kind and helpful. The perfect place to start your day off right.

I loved it overall but certain things need improvement. 😇 I absolutely loved Pelmeni dumplings with jackfruit&mushroom which came with sour cream and butter sauce! 10/10 but i was dissappointed by the stirloin steak i ordered :( first one came completely cold and when i told the waitress it was cold, she immediately took action and they served me another one, second time the food was served warm but the meat was not as juicy as i was expecting but overall the staff was very welcoming, they seemed relaxed and friendly. Also the place has a cozy vibe, especially in the evening! They have a lot of different options to eat&drink. Thank you!

Excellent spot for any time of day. Their menu is so wide ranging that no matter what you are craving they probably are serving it. Never had a bad meal here over our month long stay in Ubud. Service is great. They bring the card reader to you when you check out if paying by card.

I loved my experience at KAFE. The staff were very polite and welcoming. I enjoyed my tandoori chicken wrap and lemon, ginger and honey elixer. They have good wifi and two floors of seating, I was able to get a 5 hour work session done peacefully. Highly recommend the spot.

I love Kafe! I would come almost every morning during my stay in Ubud and sit on the cushions and drink matcha and read a book. I will definitely miss here but excited to come back when I'm ever in Ubud again. Highly recommend!

This is my favourite cafe in Ubud. It consistently serves good meals in an unpretentious setting. The vibe is very down to earth. The staff are attentive and relaxed. I never feel a trip to Ubud is complete until I’ve eaten here.

What a great restaurant tucked away from the craziness of the high street in Ubud! High quality food and drinks, served with great attentiveness and friendliness of the staff. We sat at the bar which was great and the bartenders really looked after us 🍸 Don’t skip the lobster dumplings. Probably one of the best I ever had, really appreciated the generous ratio of lobster 🦞 The beef rendang was 🤌🏼 and I really enjoyed my grilled baby chicken. An explosion of flavour in all dishes, without being too spicy.

We had an outstanding experience at Hujan Locale. The local cuisine was exquisite, with fresh ingredients and every dish bursting with flavour, elevated by a touch of sophistication. It’s certainly not the cheapest restaurant in Ubud, but absolutely worth it. The staff were wonderfully welcoming and warm. The setting is charming, a typical local-style restaurant, yet with exceptional attention to detail and a beautifully maintained atmosphere. We tried the crispy chicken and pork batagor dumpling, the slow-cooked beef rendang, and the Acehnese chicken korma, all of which were utterly delicious. We wouldn’t hesitate to return!

I really wanted to like Hujan Locale, but honestly, it just didn’t live up to the hype. Or the price tag. For 330k, I was expecting something exceptional, something that justifies the upscale branding. Instead, what I got felt no different from what you’d find in a good local warung—except here, you’re paying triple for the same experience. The beef rendang, which should’ve been the highlight, was average at best. Flavor was fine, but not memorable. I’ve had rendang from tiny family-run spots that easily outshine this one in both taste and soul. Even the presentation lacked finesse. The ambiance was pleasant enough, but the service crossed into overbearing. The staff seemed to lose their minds over the fact that I had a bottle of energy drink with me—even though I wasn’t drinking it. The way they reacted was unnecessary and frankly insulting. For a restaurant that tries to present itself as refined, that kind of attitude felt petty and off-putting. Overall, Hujan Locale feels like a place coasting on reputation and aesthetics rather than substance. The food is decent, but if you actually care about flavor and value, you’ll find better—and more authentic—meals in the warungs down the street.

Hujan Locale is amazing. The venue is gorgeous and stepping in feels like you’re stepping into another era. The staff are professional and nice - delivering service with a smile. The food is fantastic - each meal providing a different range of flavours and textures. Each dish tastier than the next. Overall we have a GREAT experience and will return. It was on the pricier end of the spectrum but worth every cent - a nice treat!

We were recommended this place and it certainly did not disappoint! We came without a booking but were able to sit downstairs in the bar area and order all the food. The cocktails were great and the food was amazing. Some really interesting and unique flavours all round with too many dishes to recommend! Wish we had come another night to try some more.

In our 2 stay last year and this year, this was the best restaurant we've found in Ubud and Bali in general. Welcoming staff. 🙏 Can be a bit pricey but not overpriced like other places where the food isn't good by the way. Here you'll have great food (at least if you try our recommandations).. 👍 Special mention for the beef rendang, the scallop (starter) and the dessert mango 🥭- coco 🥥 in granite style. Disappointed by the tuna (starter) though, which was lacking a bit of taste and some 'peps' . wish the tuna had come with a sauce similar to the one that came with the scallop... Also, people complaining in the comments are just people without any taste who enjoy Coca, Fries 🍟, and Burgers 🍔/ pizza 🍕 🤦

A nice change from the traditional Balinese food. We had yummy ceviche consisting of fish and seafood. My husband and I both had fish dishes to follow which were both delicious. The gnocchi was pillowy and so good! We had beer and wine and I also had one of their passion fruit juices which was delicious. Overall a great experience

Incredibly delicious and nicely presented food. Prepared on the level of fine dining without the frills. I had the lamb skewers, broccoli, and mash. All of them were 10/10. Finished with chocolate cake which was good as well. Great attentive service as well. Highly recommend this place. I'm excited to come back and try more of the menu.

We had a wonderful dining experience at Pica. The service was lovely and incredibly quick, making us feel well taken care of. The food was simply amazing, every dish was bursting with flavor. Really enjoyed dinner at PICA in Ubud. The place is small and cozy, service was friendly, and the food was fresh and flavorful. We had 7 dishes degustation dinner, it was amazing ! The ceviche and faut cheese soufle were highlights, and the passion fruit juice were spot on. Worth it for the quality and atmosphere.

We love peruvian food and Pica is now on the top of our list. We love the Japanese Sakashi oyster (so fresh and tasty), their ceviche, the cerso confitado (one of the best pork belly we ever had). The final touch is the peruvian dessert, tres leche (to die for, we literally lick the bol!). The service is also very efficient and nice staff. Thank you!

The food tastes amazing and there’s so much variety on the menu that anyone can find something they’ll enjoy. I ordered the skewers plus their fermented drink sampler and everything was fantastic. This restaurant is truly special! I didn’t just love the food… I loved the whole concept. Everything is focused on health and healing. Each dish and drink has its own page in the menu, showing all the ingredients and explaining what they do for your body. It’s so thoughtful and inspiring. They even ferment their own drinks, which is amazing! You can really taste the care and knowledge behind everything they serve. The atmosphere is super peaceful. I went there every day to escape the busy streets of Ubud. Soft, relaxing music plays in the background… The staff are very friendly and kind. One day I sat near the kitchen and saw how well they work together. There was no stress… just good vibes and teamwork. You can feel that the food is made with love and positive energy. I highly recommend the Jackfruit Rendang and the Vegan Wild Forest Cake. Both are absolutely delicious and full of flavor! I had a wonderful experience at Wild Vegan. Today is my birthday and they made it unforgettable: they prepared a lovely handwritten card with their wishes and served me two slices of cake. I kindly asked for a candle, without really expecting it, and they surprised me by adding it together with the card. The cake itself was simply amazing, one of the best I’ve ever tasted. Wonderful little restaurant right next to and this with a wonderful view on the next door temple with exceptional food. We went there because of the reviews and can only confirm the excellent ratings. Leave room for the desert, the cakes offered are just delightful.

Only came here once but I really enjoyed it. The lentil bolognese was the best one I think I've ever had and their selection of kombucha is crazy! If you're a kombucha lover like myself, you definitely need to come here.

I had an amazing experience at Sawobali! They have a fantastic vegan and gluten-free buffet with an incredible variety of dishes that are both delicious and thoughtfully prepared. The staff were incredibly kind and took the time to explain how each dish was made, which made the whole experience even more special. It’s so rare to find a place that caters so well to different dietary needs without compromising on taste. On top of that, the price is unbelievably affordable — only 70k for such a diverse and satisfying spread. Highly recommend Sawobali for anyone looking for great food, great options, and great value!

The best place to enjoy fresh, healthy, and affordable food in Ubud. They always have fresh salads, and everything is served buffet style with an all you can eat option. My favorite dishes are eggplant and tempeh, both delicious and nourishing. I also had the most amazing vanilla ice cream I have ever tasted, made with all natural ingredients and freshly prepared. Watercress Ubud is the place to be on a Saturday night! The live music creates such a great vibe, lively but not overpowering, perfect for a relaxed evening. The waiters here are a rare gem: super attentive, genuinely friendly, and they actually know the menu. Their recommendations were spot on, making it easy to try dishes we might have otherwise missed. We kicked off the night with a refreshing cocktail (highly recommend doing the same!), and everything that followed was just as impressive. Bonus points for their kids’ drawing menu, such a thoughtful touch that kept our little one entertained while we enjoyed our meal. If you’re in Ubud and want a place with great food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere for both adults and kids, Watercress is an easy choice. Can’t wait to come back!

Not enough stars for this amazing little gem! We loved our meal at the Elephant!! Our food was both beautiful and delicious beyond expectation. This is a vegetarian restaurant with no meat on the menu. Even if you normally order meat, this restaurant is worth trying, the food is excellent! The service was kind, welcoming and prompt. We had no language issues, the menu had English descriptions and we ordered in English but did our best to thank them in Bahasa. The meal was one of our more expensive meals in Indonesia but it was by far the best, worth every penny! The view was a simply stunning showing of the jungle in the area, while the restaurant was clean and decorated in Balinese style. We're so glad we stopped here for dinner! Stop in and try it out, you won't be disappointed!

Im in live with the place. Perfect location, far from the noise and traffic of ubud center but close enough to spend hours to reach home if you’re living in ubud center. The view is breathtaking. The service is amazing, the employees are kind, polite, funny, nice….. the food is very tasty. The menu looks Italian but the owner is Australian. It’s one of my favorite places. This place is a gem. Beautiful covered outdoor space overlooking the jungle. While my fiancé and I are both meat eaters, we absolutely loved our vegetarian food. That fact that he- a meat loving Italian - loved the Bolognese is a big deal! My burnt sage gnocchi was so good he got one to go for dinner later. The mushroom dumplings were delightful. This place is awesome! I’ve eaten in restaurants in Bali and around the world and the food here is super tasty. The view is great, calm atmosphere and lovely servers. The watermelon retrograde reset drink is delish and the burger is👌👌. My friend had the pad thai it was also yummy

We came here for breakfast on our first day in Ubud, and it was a great choice. The breakfast was amazing! The setting overlooked nature, creating a wonderful atmosphere to go along with the delicious food. We can only recommend it!

I really enjoyed my visit to Sweet Orange Warung. It’s a super cozy restaurant with a lovely atmosphere and a beautiful location right in the rice fields. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I ordered the satay with red rice, which was delicious and nicely presented. The portion could have been a bit larger, but the flavors more than made up for it. The prices are also very reasonable, making it great value for money. Overall, Sweet Orange Warung is a charming spot with tasty food, kind staff, and a stunning setting — definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Sweet Orange Warung in the rice fields of Ubud is a charming place to pause and refresh after a walk. I’ve been here a few times before and always loved the unique setting with the fun coconut faces and beautiful rice field scenery. On this visit, I felt the service wasn’t quite as warm as in the past, which was a little disappointing as I had brought my family to share the experience. Still, the atmosphere is special, and it remains a lovely stop for anyone wanting to enjoy the views and relax in the middle of nature

Oh my god!!! This place is AMAZING, sorrounded by green fields and palms. I haven't sleep there but i just had lunch and the food was really good as well, all served wirh fresh vegetables from the garden. I would reccomend it also if you want to stop just for a drink, i had the best fresh juice ever (mango, dragon fruit and mint)!!! It's an escape from the noise of the city!!! Highly reccomend it!!

The location of this restaurant is really frustrating. I searched for an hour and a half according to the map and couldn't find the right way around. They changed the address but the map didn't change it. This is really bad, especially when I was almost exhausted. I was very unhappy looking for it. Later, I contacted the staff through Whatsapp but no one came to pick me up. I searched for more than 40 minutes according to their description and finally found it when it was completely dark. The dishes were not as amazing as the online reviews said. It's not because I was unhappy because I searched for a long time, but because the taste was really average and the price was high. Overall, it didn't feel worth it. Don't trusted easy those internet stuffs

This place is stunning. What a vibe. But unfortunately the food does not meet this same level. The smoothie was not very cold and the vegetables in the soup not fully cooked. But what a vibe! They also charged me for extra Sambal even though it was a tiny little Sambal bowl.

The Sweet Orange Warung is located on the Sweet Orange trail just outside of Ubud and sits in beautiful green rice fields. The food is great and very reasonably priced. Definitely try the fresh juices. Atmosphere is very peaceful with good views and uncrowded but plentiful seating options. Would highly recommend a visit.

TLDR: Good service, comfortable atmosphere, great drinks, food was okay for meat eaters, but disappointing if you are veggie/gf We came here for dinner tonight and had a mixed experience. I’ll start with the positive, the service: as you’d expect in Bali it was warm, friendly and very attentive. The space itself was clean, comfortable and well looked after too. The drinks we had were excellent as well, and the 2-4-1 happy hour is great value. The food was a mixed bag and didn’t blow us away. My partner is vegetarian and gluten free, and she ordered the roasted beetroot for her main. When the plate arrived it was quite bare - 90% beetroot with a few greens and cubes of cheese doused in vinegar. There wasn’t anything else to it like a filling base of mash/rice/greens to justify listing this as a “main” in the menu - maybe this one’s on us for not looking at the menu detailedly enough, but if something is listed as a main I expect it to be more filling. As a side or starter, it would’ve been okay. I had the ribs which were very flavourful, but laid on top of a papaya salad which had too much vinegar for my liking. The tres leches for dessert was good. Again, top stars to the staff for noticing my partner wasn’t wild on the beetroot and offering to remove it from the bill. Everything about Copper was truly outstanding. We had the pumpkin soup, pork ribs, and duck — each dish was exceptional. The pumpkin soup, in particular, was soulful and comforting, perfect for a cool, rainy evening. The focaccia they served was absolutely divine. Every dish was a five-star experience, made even better by the warm and genuine hospitality of the staff. Amazing from every angle.

The restaurant is beautifully designed, and the staff is very professional and friendly. However, we had much higher expectations for the food. We started with welcome cocktails and a small bite, which was a very nice touch and tasted good. Our mocktails were also enjoyable. For a starter, we ordered the jumbo shrimp – it looked great on the plate, but serving just one shrimp (where 70% of it is shell and head) was definitely not a good idea- anyway the sauces used in this dish were excellent and gave it an amazing flavor. Next came the chicken breast sous vide – it was simply fine. The portion was small (as expected for this type of restaurant), but the grey sauce was not good, while the vegetables were perfectly julienned and delicious – though again, there was very little of them. The ribs were just average, and unfortunately, they didn’t fall off the bone as they should have. The vegetables they were served on were far too vinegary. The potato purée, on the other hand, was tasty and served in a generous portion. The salad we ordered to go with the starter was also just okay Overall, a pleasant experience with excellent service and a few dishes that really stood out, though there is still room for improvement when it comes to balance and portions.

My wife and I visited for the special romantic dinner during our honeymoon. We were given a table surrounded by flowers in the shape of a heart, in a secluded offshoot of the main restaurant which we had all to ourselves. We were treated like total VIPs as we were served a multi-course set meal (with much flexibility for substitutions) and wine pairing. The main restaurant is already beautiful, but we were treated in such a way that the other patrons must have been wondering who we were. The food was delicious. The presentation beautiful. Atmosphere out of this world. The staff take a lot of pride in their work here, and it is a very special place. I'm told that they grow all of their own vegetables on-site, and prepare basically all food and components from scratch. It really shows. Ria in particular was a joy to talk to and took super great care of us. My only regret is that we did not reserve a room here when we were setting up our honeymoon, but we certainly will if we're ever back in town. The VIP romantic dinner (here in particular) is a once in a lifetime experience. Don't pass it up.

This was the best meal we’ve had in Bali. We walked over two miles to get to this pace and it was well worth it. We got the prawns, tofu, wagyu and the ribs. All were 12/10. The cocktails were delicious as well and they give you a nice hold towel when you come in to cool you off they also gave us a couple lemongrass shots and bread with pumpkin spread. Very nice servers, would happily go back!

We came in and tried their new dinner menu. The gili curry clams and sticky pork ribs were absolutely delicious! A must try As a vegetarian, I must say the cauliflower steak had this creamy cajuny sauce that was really tasty. Our group also ordered a risotto to mix it up and it was also very savory and delightful.

I mean I can’t say much else for the price. Expensive by Bali standards, but the normal price of food from the countries tourists usually come from. Came here as a birthday treat, and was given impeccable service as well as a complimentary dessert from the kindness of the staff. All this in addition to being hosted at the lavish resort that is Viceroy. The Ox tail soup is great if you know how to eat from a vertebrae, and pizza was better than expected. Very impressed.

We loved this restaurant, we came back two nights in a row. The atmosphere is very nice with dim lighting. The service was very good and everyone was kind. I loved everything that we got to eat there. The drinks are unique and super yummy. The hummus is absolutely delicious as well as the poke bowl and the creme brûlée. Highly recommed.

Great place right off a quiet street. Nice dining at the back in the garden facing the hotel. The nasi goreng was very local and delicious. The tuna bowl was refreshing and delicious. And the fruit bowl was fresh and sweet.

Seriously the best restaurant I ate at in Bali. We stayed at Dinara Hotel and they included breakfast from Melali. You can order a healthy and delicious breakfast with choice of coffee or tea and fruit juices. Everything was fresh and rivals the best brunches I have had in L.A.

One of the best bar kitchen in town. They serve a lot varieties of excellent cocktails. We had a couple visited in September, we had felt enjoyed spent our time to had dinner here. Pay attention staff and better make a reservation in advance.

Ibu Susu in Ubud is an absolute must-visit! The food here is just incredible, bursting with flavour and beautifully presented—every dish we tried left us wanting more. Their cocktails are honestly the best in town (you have to try them all!), and the bar team really knows how to impress. The staff make every meal a delight with their next-level friendliness and warm hospitality. On both of my trips to Ubud, I found myself coming back to Ibu Susu at least four times each visit—that’s how good it is! I’m already looking forward to my next trip back. My absolute favourite is the Snapper Ceviche, which I still crave every day. Can’t recommend this place highly enough!

This is by far one of my favourite places in Ubud! If you're looking for delicious food, the perfect hand crafted cocktails, great atmosphere, topped off with fantastic service, look no further! I am still working my way through their menu, but so far have absolutely loved the chicken wings, steamed buns and dim sum, the red snapper carpaccio is unreal! We had the duck pancakes and the beef randang which were so yummy!!! The pandan crepe and chocolate brulé are the perfect desserts! Ketut and his super team of bartenders and mixologists bring out new flavour combinations with their monthly cocktail specials, plus a great happy hour makes it so easy to keep coming back!! Highly highly recommend!!

While the food and cocktails at IBU SUSU are phenomenal (bartender Agung made me personalized drinks I'm still craving!), it's the staff that truly makes this place exceptional. Indra was our guardian angel for the evening. He greeted us, helped with parking, and provided impeccable, warm service all night. Sambo and Srik were also wonderful. We were amazed that every single team member, from the waiters to the bartenders, had complete and total knowledge of the entire menu. Their expertise is astounding. A final note on the owner, Ketut—he was so involved we didn't even realize he was the owner until the end! That hands-on approach reflects in the incredible service culture here.

I love Ibu Susu. Laid back, great decor and lovely food. You won’t find a better selection of cocktails in Ubud. And I genuinely think the chocolate crème brûlée is one of the best desserts I’ve had - ever (and I’ve eaten in lots of great places around the world!). The staff are very attentive and the food is really tasty. Clearly a place that has had a lot of thought and love poured into it. As Ubud becomes increasingly commercialised, its lovely to see a place that still has an indie vibe!

One of the well-known babi guling spots in the Ubud area. The place is slightly hidden inside (need to walk past the narrow aisle), but it’s quite spacious with a nice greenery view. In terms of taste, it didn’t quite hit the mark for me. The spices weren’t as strong and flavorful for my liking. The fried pork were a bit tough (alot), but the meat is tender and plenty. The highlight was definitely the crispy pork skin - BEST I've eaten. If you come too late, the lawar might be sold out and they will replace it with sayur labu. Oh and the soup is similar with sop sayur with carrots and green beans. The price is quite steep (tax included), and fyi they only accept cash payments.

It’s more the full experience and jungle neighborhood for me. Food very good but I miss the earlier days when there was a bit more grit and green banana leaves gave it that extra feel and taste…highly recommend for tourist experience. Loved the papaya juice! But be so careful with the seriously hot and good sambal!

It was really nice food and it’s my first time to enjoy our barbecue cooling that was like pulled pork it’s very soft and very tasty.

We came around 4pm and it was raining hard we had to move table due to the wind. They have spacious seating with many tables and chairs. Perfect for big groups. The babi guling itself wasn't among my favorites, I still can smell the pork from the meat. But the babi guling goreng was so good tho! Be careful, the bumbu was quite spicy compared to other babi guling. Beware if you're not a fan of spicy food.

The location is perfect for tourists who's visiting ubud. Which is near to the ubud palace and ubud art Market.vehicles will not reach to the property so you have to walk nearly 250 m. But it is good. The property ambiance is perfect for tourists. One side of the restaurant is facing toward the nature that's great and other side is with a fish pond and birds wich gives a cool atmosphere. We ate food after 3pm so the food was not hot at all. Better the want to heat the dish especially the pork meat, so overall food experience was not so great.

So miserable and deflating to see all the cockatoos chained and stressed. Won't support this kind of business. I left this place being stressed at the end. Also got bitten by one cockatoo while I was speaking to a resident next to the restaurant. When I reported this to a restaurant staff, he said "It is okay. I got bitten too." showing his thumb with a permanent scar. It was the resident who helped putting a bandaid for me. No antibacterial ointment prepared. Babi guling taste was average.

This restaurant is always buzzing with a really cool vibe. The staff is genuinely nice and makes you feel welcome the moment you walk in. It's a big space with plenty of seating, so you never feel cramped. The food is incredible and the menu has tons of options - seriously something for everyone. I had their tacos, tea and vegan omelet and toast with curry spiced coconut butter and wow, everything was delicious. Really satisfying and comforting, exactly what I was craving. Highly recommend checking this place out. You won't be disappointed!

Sayuri Healing Food in Ubud is simply magical 💚. The food is 100% plant-based, fresh, and full of creativity. Every dish is not only delicious but also feels light and nourishing, designed to heal from the inside out. The atmosphere is cozy and peaceful, perfect to relax and enjoy. The staff is kind and always happy to explain the ingredients and health benefits 🌸. I highly recommend their raw desserts and cold-pressed juices 🥭🍓. This space is beyond the food, it is the energy that you just feel is welcoming, wholesome, HOME. I went back multiple times. They have some kind of open event almost every night and was such a beautiful experience every day. I was even so welcomed to speak on stage one night with open hearts. We all even danced with the workers one night it was a blast. There is so much love energy being offered here, highly recommend, home away from home feel , thank you! Pictures food wise is the "life is a blessing cake that so many recommended, the ocean love soup WOW cells feel it so good, and the cocoa ceremony shot great texture <3! Check out all the space within it too, they have a cute upstairs area that is just divine as well ! Intending this finds whoever reading it well!

A pleasant spot to sit and relax. There’s usually a program or activity going on, which makes the dining experience more enjoyable. It does get quite crowded, and you might have to share a table. I especially love the raw pasta and smoothie bowl- both are delicious! The desserts are great too, and they also sell a variety of healthy products.

Sayuri must be my favourite place to eat almost daily. As a Nutritionist, I’m always mindful of food quality, and their meals are the healthiest and tastiest around. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. I love how they greet me by name every time I walk in, always smiling and full of positive energy. The atmosphere is also perfect, whether I’m relaxing in the garden sipping cacao on the lounge with friends, or enjoying the live music and vibrant energy while socialising. And their ceremonial cacao bowls and matcha (yes, bowls, not cups!) are simply the best 😋

I tried the Laksa bowl here. It was good, but honestly not my favorite—maybe it’s just me. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the place has a really nice vibe. A lot of foreigners hang out with their laptops, so it feels like a relaxed café space. They also offer vegan baked goods, though I didn’t try them this time. Overall, nice ambience and great service.

Everyone recommending this place, but it’s only because it’s populair. It’s like the other reviews say, chihuahua-carrying-Paris-Hilton-king of people in a fancy yoga pants here acting like they’re so Buddha conscious while talking crap about everyone they know. The atmosphere there for for me is less than a zero worthy. The food… first day I came I asked about the omelet confirming it’s not a “pancake” like sort of dish. The waitress was reinsure me it wasn’t. And she convinced me by showing me how it looks like ( there is apparently a page with pictures of the dishes. On the picture it was like a scrambled eggs-kind of an omelet. But when it arrived it was a dry pancake. Exactly what I DIDN’T want. On top of that it had strong tast a mix of falafel and curry. It was very small too. And I paid for it like 85k😳. Anyway I didn’t want to judge just after 1 visit, so I came back. But Unfortunately. I ordered the meal of the day which was Melanesian noodles soup. It was so heavy YET not nutrition AT ALL! I literally just finished the tempe and some mushies and left 80% of my bowl. I NEVER leave food. I’m extremely bloated with very heavy feeling in my stomach and offcourse I’m still craving to eat something. But I just can’t. The dish came also lukewarm. I won’t return. And advice to look out for those kind of “populair” kind of places. It’s basically a tourist trap. And a place to be for snobbish fake people. And offcrouse this kind of places are very overpriced. Very typical.

Milk & Madu is such a lovely spot for breakfast in Ubud! We ordered the Eggs Brekky, Orchard Bowl, and Madu Pancakes all three dishes were absolutely top-notch, fresh, and full of flavor. The staff were welcoming and courteous, which made the experience even better. The place does get quite busy in the mornings, but the lively atmosphere and cozy ambience make it worth it. Definitely a must-visit in Ubud, and I’d love to come back again!

Absolutely loved our lunch at Milk and Madhu! The service was top-notch – we’re super picky vegetarians (no egg, no fish oil) and Captain Puspa and Novi were amazing, guiding us through the menu without batting an eye. She suggested the Summer Slice Pizza and OH MY GOD – best pizza EVER. I seriously still can’t get over how good it was. Big shoutout to the team for making a Milo Shake for us, even though it’s supposed to be just for kids. That was such a nice touch! We had an awesome lunch and can’t wait to come back soon. Highly recommend this place!

I came here on a Sunday to try their special brunch, and it was such a great way to start the day! I had the cheeseburger with a beer — absolutely delicious and satisfying. Then I couldn’t resist trying the dessert: an apple crumble pie with ice cream. It was simply amazing! I left with such positive vibes and a big smile. The atmosphere here is wonderful- friendly people, great music, and an overall lovely energy. Definitely a place I’d love to come back to:)

We came here based on reviews and had breakfast and dinner. Everything was great. They had breakfast promotions, and it was incredibly crowded. A line formed after we sat down, but it wasn't as crowded that evening, so we enjoyed our meal comfortably. Since we don't eat pork, they offered to swap our menu items for other items, which was very nice. We enjoyed the lasagna for dinner. The ice cream is safe, and the food is delicious. We recommend it.

Nice atmosphere in the morning and in the evening because inside gets too hot at noon (due to big glass windows). You can enjoy great cocktails (you pay one get two during the happy hour). I ordered grilled fish and salad -the portion was a bit small- but it was really delicious. Prices are a bit above average. Service was very fast.

The food here is soo good!! The smash burger was so juicy and flavoursome, and the fries were nice and crispy! My boyfriend got the chicken Parma which was one a deal for 99k, and he thoroughly enjoyed it! The staff were super friendly and even let me do some colouring haha they also offer seltzers on the drink menu which was fun to try! I would definitely recommend to eat and drink at Milk & Madu!!

Zest Ubud is a place where you instantly feel at home. The location is simply stunning – surrounded by greenery with a bright, open atmosphere that radiates both peace and inspiration. Every corner is warmly and thoughtfully designed, and you can feel the love for detail everywhere. The vegan menu is impressively diverse and truly delicious – every dish we tried was fresh, creative, and full of flavor. A must-try are the Spicy Corn Ribs and the fruit bowls – both are a perfect 10/10! What we especially loved is that plant-based food here isn’t treated as just an alternative, but as a full culinary experience in its own right. Within only four days we visited twice, simply because we enjoyed it so much – which says it all. The team also makes the experience even more special: the staff are extremely friendly, attentive, and create such a positive vibe. For us, Zest Ubud is definitely one of the absolute highlights in Bali!

Our absolute favorite place in Ubud! We’ve tried so many restaurants and cafés in Bali, sometimes 4–5 a day, but after visiting Zest we didn’t want to go anywhere else. The atmosphere is so unique — it can’t really be put into words, you just have to experience it. We came in the morning, during the day, in the evening, even late at night… and every time the energy felt so special. It’s incredibly cozy and makes you want to spend the whole day there, every day. The restaurant is fully vegan — which for me, as a non-vegan, after the third visit meant there was less excitement in trying new dishes — but still, everything is so unique and creative. And the selection of drinks is just amazing.

NOTE to the OWNER; please be aware of guests who sit around all day and take up space who are not ordering food or taking up entire tables with a laptop. It creates a low vibe and encourages a “work vibe”. Maybe make a laptop area only and tell guest who just sit around to kindly be on their way and let other people sit down. Best vegan food we've had in Ubud. I love that they have so many gluten free options too. Our fave food were the sushi, cauliflower wings (AMAZING) and the pizza. Healthy choices, friendly staff, and nice atmosphere. This place is always crowded with tourists hanging out or working on laptops (in the afternoon). I think both times we visited, once for lunch and once for dinner, we were the only locals :)

It’s a beautiful place with an amazing atmosphere and a fantastic view. They have an all-vegan menu with high protein and recommended meals marked. I had the cacao ceremony with coconut cream on the side an the chickpea omelette. Both were amazing. I enjoyed my experience there a lot.

Stunning venue, and one of the most beautiful set in a restaurant I’ve seen across the globe. The service was very polite but little bit slow, though that’s not an issue in Bali. The whole piece of life is slow. However, the menu is tasty with a really good selection of vegan food yet was really lacking in protein dishes. They pointed out protein boosts to their foods but really needed some more Tempe and tofu on the menu. Highly recommended though.

One of the best meals I’ve had in Bali!! Didn’t even know it was vegan my fist time here and came back a few days later with a huge group. Everyone could not stop raving about how good each meal, drink, and dessert was incredible!! Mushroom parmigiana and the chocolate goddess ball were the favorites for sure! I love the atmosphere at night. Breezy and the dim lights give it a cozy feel. The food was all organic and you can taste the realness of the food. The cauliflower was good but not great. The batter wasn’t crispy. My wife loved the burger, but I don’t like sweet burgers. I had the wrap and it was delicious.

Sage in Ubud really impressed me. The jackfruit burrito was absolutely delicious — hearty, flavorful, and satisfying. I also loved the coconut cake — super moist and not overly sweet, a perfect finish to the meal. The space itself is peaceful and beautifully designed.

Came for the coconut cake. Wow!!! So good and perfectly chilled. Ambiance of the cafe was really comfortable and quiet. It was the perfect place to read my book. Came back. Had the jackfruit burrito 🌯 Amazing. The combination of textures is incredible, homemade hot sauce delicious. Coconut cake still divine. Coming back to try more of their food!!! Came back the next day. Got the sweet potato bowl. It should be renamed to cabbage and bean juice soup. There were maybe 6 pieces of potato on my bowl. The refried beans just looked like beans from a can, water included. Ordered the banana pancakes instead, they were yummy. The corn crusted Tempe “Chicken wings” were OK, I really like their homemade hot sauce. Over all the service is good, the employees are kind — I was just really disappointed with the potato bowl. I was expecting more potato, they’re so cheap anyways. I’ve worked in the service industry for 10 years and I don’t complain hardly ever. I respectfully and privately expressed my dissatisfaction. I recognize that I am probably just holding the service to an American standard, but I left a little annoyed how it was resolved after coming here a few days in a row.

One of my favourite vegan spots in Ubud and definitely the most affordable! Their tempeh buffalo wings are insanely good as well as the burritos. Lots of choice of cakes too. Service is extremely quick. Love this place!

My two visits left me with mixed experiences: some meals really struck me (tempeh wings), others were okayish, e.g. cauliflower wings tasted a bit too naughty (too much oil?) and oreo cake was actually just a chocolate cake What I was most disappointed by tho was the coffee: my iced latte turned out to be an iced coffee and tasted somewhat earthy All-in-all just/still a decent vegan place

Good presentation of food and service. Tried burrito, tacos and burger which were good. Won't recommend crispy mushroom sandwich, it lacked taste. But overall food was nice.

The food was okay, fresh and tasty enough. They didn't have the items listed on the menu so they substituted some other vegetables. Service was quite slow for in-house guests, they seemed to be doing lots of takeaway orders.

Cuisine tasted absolutely amazing. The spices were definitely there and had a good amount of flavor. Sure prices are higher due to the tourism in ubud but overall an amazing experience if you like Indonesian cuisine! I would go back for certain!

A surprisingly fantastic meal! We were drawn in after walking uphill in the heat for a while, and the smell of the sate and grilled fish was tempting. The sate lilit was delicious, alongside the fish. Drinks were also generous and the service was great. We will be back!

We enjoyed a delicious meal here with interesting takes on Indonesian flavours. We ordered the tuna ceviche, Tempe green bean salad, smokey cauliflower with eggplant hummus and Tempe crumb, smoked duck with cucumber salad and another delicious salad. This was a lot for two people and we left very full especially with the kitchen creating a free bite and welcome drink at the start. Would highly recommend - the staff were wonderful and the decor was beautiful too

CRAZZYYY GOOD, you HAVE to check out Liap Liap on Monkey Forest Road - it’s peak Ubud: part vibey hotspot, part cozy smokehouse hideaway. Walk in through the big open wall facing the street, and boom - smoky aromas, chill vibes, top service, and food that slaps, all wrapped in the buzz and heartbeat of Ubud. Get the beef rendang minang - slow-cooked, spice-loaded, basically a hug on a plate paired with ridiculously fragrant coconut rice. Oooh and the coconut tart with mango sorbet is straight-up dessert sorcery. Already planning my return for the smoked octopus rujak - saw it, wanted it, questioned all my life choices, still not over it. Cocktails are fire too - start with the Bisma Gardens (gin + herbs = 💯). BONUS: It’s part of Bisma Eight, so sneak over to the hotel in the back which is an absolute vibe - think bougie poolside bar, cozy cabanas, and all the laid-back luxe you didn’t know you needed. And definitely don’t skip No Más bar upstairs above Liap Liap restaurant — live music, neon glow, post-dinner party energy, good chaos. Trusttt — you need this in your life. Just book ahead!

The food is excellent, freshly prepared on the spot. The staff is very nice. Highly recommended! My favorite is mango and shrimp salad that is simply delicious! Easy to find on Monkey Forest Road.

Came here twice in three days the food is THAT good!! 🩷 The Smokey flavour from the fire is delicious, I got a seafood platter to myself both times and it’s a great amount if you’re hungry. The Miso corn is incredible and definitely try the traditional Balinese desserts! Also delicious 😍 thanks again!

Beautiful place and good food! Busy place next to the street, not cheap but the execution of the food, presentation and taste were outstanding. Highly recommended when in Ubud! Make sure you have reservation so there will be no wait. My favorite was the rib eye steak, medium rare and it was extremely juicy and delicious! A must try 😊 although they have to work on their fish dishes as some were overcooked. Too much cumin with some of their appetizers.service was excellent though.

Honey & Smoke in Ubud is a must-visit! The vibe is trendy and upscale, with amazing food and great service. Yes, it’s a little pricey, but the flavors, presentation, and execution are absolutely worth it. We ordered four small dishes and one entrée to share, and it was the perfect amount for two people. Every bite was full of incredible flavor. I highly recommend making a reservation since it gets busy, and you definitely don’t want to wait. Highly recommended when in Ubud — I absolutely loved it!

Incredible grill - the best meal we’ve had in Ubud. We did the ‘Feed Me’ menu and they let us swap one of the dishes on there. All the dishes were so well thought out, really sophisticated and amazingly balanced. 5 ⭐ experience all around

We stopped by here after not being able to get a table at Donna or Pasir (which I’d recommend trying). The restaurant itself looks really nice—stylish and inviting—so we decided to sit down for some small plates and cocktails. Unfortunately, both the food and drinks were disappointing. The only dishes I genuinely enjoyed were the romesco and scallops. The vine leaves were just okay, while the tuna crudo was oddly prepared and not something I’d order again. The two cocktails we tried were also pretty average. What made the experience worse was the service—our server came across as condescending and hovered over the table, which made the whole meal feel uncomfortable. Overall, a letdown despite the lovely setting.

Cocktails and food were exquisite with generous portions. The lamb shank was cooked to perfection. Service was very attentive. We preferred sitting upstairs as the seating area downstairs is off the busy road.

The food was great. The scallops and the zucchini flowers were so good (I don’t even eat zucchini in the first place but I loved it). The first steak that we like around bali.

The food was delicious - we had the hummus and bread, carrots, and cauliflower to share, and I had the ragu for my main, which I would highly recommend. My friends had the fish skewers, and fried chicken and strawberry pavlova, which they said were all very tasty. The staff were very nice and helpful. The seating was a bit uncomfortable but otherwise the vibe of the restaurant is nice. The food also has a lot of garlic in, which I could taste for hours afterwards, but in future I would just ask for this to be reduced. Overall, still the best meal I had in Ubud.

Good plant-based clean soulful food in a relaxed, hippy-vibe garden setting. The buffet food can be lukewarm or cooled down, but it’s still rich in taste and flavour. Their fresh juices def are a must-try! When I arrived mid-afternoon, there were no other customers, which made it hard to get a sense of the vibe among the staff — though later, they turned out to be helpful and friendly. I love the concept of trust: you eat what you like and leave your contribution in designated “money bottles”.

Love this place, very homey and lovely. The food is delicious homemade cooking with many vegetarian/vegan options from tempeh/tofu, red beans, rich variety of vegetables. Sometimes you will find unique balinese vegetables like papaya leaf with torch ginger flower. A must try while being in Bali. I mean, you can get pizza easy everywhere, but authentic homemade balinese food? Not everywhere. I recommend to give tips here because the price is very cheap, so much love and effort put in here to spread love to others. I believe you can see the value. Much kindness ✨

This place is something different in the middle of Ubud and you’ll notice the moment you step in. If you’re lucky enough you’ll get to meet Tony, a very special character that makes very good ginger tea with other spices . He’s says that drink is gonna make you immortal!

Great restaurant set beside paddy fields. The beef rendang was brilliant and the staff were fantastic. Good value for money in a lovely setting. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Amazing service and delicious food, I highly recommend trying the duck and getting a table at the back, it’s incredibly serene and it feels like it’s far away from the noise of the city and the madness of the monkey forest. Our waiter Adi was very friendly and knowledgeable, definitely worth visiting.

I came to this place attracted by the name “Herb Library,” expecting a healthy, vegetarian restaurant. Surprisingly, they also serve fish and meat. I ordered the moringa soup and green salad – both portions were small, but the taste was fine. A bit salty for me. Service was good, and they offered free cucumber- and lemon-infused water. However, note that they add 21% to the bill, which is higher than most other restaurants. There are many better options around, but it could be nice for families.

i got the nourish salad bowl which was really nice! also the super green juice which was great. the service was great & the atmosphere is really nice & calm. i would definitely return to try some other things on the menu.

This was a WONDERFUL dinner experience. The restaurant is located in a side street next to Ubud's main street, so it is much more quiet. We were attracted by the live music and stayed for dinner. The food was delicious. I tried the tofu gyozas, the Ubudian rice and the banana dessert and they were just perfect. The vibe is amazing, real holiday feeling and the singer ans guitarist made it magical. Our waiter Sugi was super kind and attentive, very friendly and his recommendations were spot on. Honestly, I cannot think of a better place to have a wonderful evening.

I am a room guest from the hotel and the breakfast is included from here. The food is so great...The stuff is so friendly treating you like friends..The vibe is so peaceful in the morning after I did my yoga class.... I was ready to leave and give 5 stars.... Then I received a birthday cake from the stuff T___T You know what ? Most of the solo travllers come to Ubud with their life issues. It made me feel so loved and blessed. I've been to dinner in this restaurant during my stay in Ubud. Initially I was given a table near the street, but the noise and smog from the constant traffic jam made the dinner unpleasant: fortunately, on my request, they moved me to an inner room, which was very cosy. The food was very good, even though they don't have a traditional Balinese cousine, but rather European. Prices are above average for Bali but still very low compared to western standards.

I’ve been to this bistro before and came back and the food is still just as amazing if not even better 🤩 we loved the ambience, the music the food to the staff everything was absolutely spot on perfect 👌 honestly a must visit when in ubud!!! There’s seating outdoors and indoors; also tables mostly for 2-4 but if you’re a big group they also have a nice corner spot you can book… Kebun offers 15% off your bill on Mondays :-) check it out (as of Oct 2025)

I found Kebun on Google maps and it had good reviews and in walking distance from my stay. The atmosphere was perfect. The olives, were expensive but worth it, they were so tasty! I had the Ollie burger for dinner, and it was one of best burgers. My first burger in 2 months of traveling Asia and it was perfect :) The staff was friendly, attentive, and they were playful and happy with each other too and that was nice to witness.

Excellent restaurant, the atmosphere is really cosy and it feels like you are all alone even though the restaurant is full. The waitresses are really nice and professional. There is a large range of food options and everything we had the opportunity to taste was truly amazing. We found back some tastes we haven’t eaten for a while. If you’re not sure about coming here, just come you won’t regret it 🤩🤤

The food is delicious but not surprising, I recommend the truffle crispy fries, it was juicy and crispy at the same time, absolutely amazing. My son and I had the lamb chops and the chicken breast, the lamb chops were not their best item I can tell, the chicken breast was better. The drinks were delicious, you must try a cocktail (hey, you’re in Bali!) What I wanted to write about is the staff there, I had lost my raincoat on the taxi there and only found out an hour after I’ve been at the restaurant, and I tried to call grab but the voice mail was in Indonesian which I don’t speak, so I had to sought out help from the staff, and they all provided support with the most kindness. The driver was also amazing for sending me back my raincoat. The atmosphere was nice, definitely a place you should visit if you’re in the area.

On top of the cozy ambience from this place, the staff were also so friendly to me. They were even willing to have small talks with me during our short break on site. They treated me — a local — just as nice as they would a foreigner. You made my day. Your service is highly appreciated! Keep up the good work!

If you’re craving pizza while you’re in Ubud- or just on the look out for an option that will satisfy your wallet and your tastebuds then this is the place. With solid menu offerings, and being conveniently located along JL Bisma this is a great stop for delicious thin based pizzas. We ordered two standard pizzas, just a mini and a small size - with a couple of drinks and it’s cost us approx <$15 The waiting time was minimal, our drinks were cold, the pizza toppings were generous and the bases crisp. Not much else you could ask for really. Oh, there is also plenty of seating and the staff were attentive without being over the top. It’s a yes from me.

the pizza is better than most pizza in bali but if u r from a country with high quality pizza it probably won’t impress u. credit for offering a cheese option in addition to magaraita. good prices. inside is fan-cooled and spacious but basic. lots of eating options on this road and this is the best pizza one, so not the worst choice. ice cream was good.

We were staying just down the road and each time we walked pass, we’d wonder if the pizza were good. Today, we tried it and yes — so so good! I thought small pizza would be the size of a personal pan from pizzahut but it was so much bigger. Worth the money & worth the fact that it was handmade. Definitely recommend to come here! Get the pepperoni and try it with their chili sauce!

We had lunch there.. The pizzas were super duper delicious! They have small and mini sizes, so I can try many variant variations of the Pizza. The nasi goreng was also good! Definitely will come again here! and try other pizzas 👍

Mudru Café in Ubud is absolutely perfect all around. I went for breakfast and was blown away by how beautifully presented everything was — especially the breakfast bowl, which was both fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is calm and inviting, with a lovely mix of modern style and Ubud’s relaxed charm. The coffee was excellent, rich and perfectly made, adding to an already great experience. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making the whole visit even more enjoyable. It’s easily the best place I’ve visited for breakfast in Ubud, and I’d definitely go back again next time I’m in town.

Went to try the viral smoothie bowls. Disappointed overall. The chai tea was watery by my standards The smoothie bowl is a bit of a texture nightmare due to lack of toppings, I struggled to finish it as it was basically slop after the first few bites. - for the smoothie suggestion is actually to reduce the amount of the smoothie for better topping/smoothie ratio in turn you could charge less. And my personal preference is a thicker smoothie so adding ice while blending. I will say the rest of the menu looked nice and service was fast and pleasant plus the venue was also gorgeous

My experience at this place was incredible. All the food was delicious, and the service was very good. It was a bit inconvenient to have to pay somewhere other than at the table. I love that they offer different activities and that music is included. In this same space, I also joined a women’s circle, which made it even more special.

I had the best pancakes I've ever had at Mudra Cafe. I highly recommend the purple potato ones. The hot chocolate was also truly excellent. One of the best breakfasts I've had in Bali. The only downside is the wait time. We waited at least 30-40 minutes for these pancakes, but let's just say they were worth it.

Super cute restaurant with plenty of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. The drinks are not only fancy, but the menu is quite unique among the other places we visited in the area. According to my friend, they got the best taro she's ever had!

The place is beautiful, staff is really nice. I feel the prices are a bit high, but the food was good. I had a smoothie Bowl and it was good. My partner had the "tapas" breakfast and it really wasn't worth it, better to order from the normal menù.

Warung Puspa's in Ubud is highly recommended for those looking for authentic, local Balinese food. Puspa cooks everything himself with a lot of love and you can taste that in every dish. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience complete. We also attended a cooking workshop - a fantastic experience where you not only learn, but also enjoy. Everything was delicious. Truly a place to come back to.

Had a delicious breakfast here, It was really good value and very nicely made. The staff was really friendly and she shared a little bit about her sambal and that it was really healthy. You can tell that she is passionate about food and healthy options. I also had some fruit salad, which was delicious and a side of chicken breast grilled. They are very accommodating. The pricing was very reasonable too.

I can’t say enough good things about this gem in Ubud. The food is absolutely top tier. Packed with flavor and straight up hits you in the heart. I ate here at least six times during my stay. I tried other local spots, but they felt watered down compared to this one. This place is the real deal. Warm, genuine staff and seriously authentic Indonesian cuisine. Do not sleep on it. EAT HERE!

Great food, we both took Nasi Campur, one with chicken and one vegan and it was very good! The jackfruit was amazingly tender and it was the first time I understood why people compare it to beef. Then my boyfriend had a round of chicken satay which was also great and for pudding we had mango sticky rice and chocolate tart, both also very nice options. Lovely staff and great atmosphere, would recommend coming here if you’re in Ubud!

Great food! The Gaspacho soup appetizer was delicious, as was the waffle ice cream desert. The Nasi Campur was good, but somewhat small portions and slightly under-seasoned...Easily fixed with their delicious sambal.

Found Puspa's by chance and what a nice little eatery. Great little spot to people watch (try and grab a table facing the street) which isn't on the main road. I ordered the Kung Fao Chicken and holy moly it was sensational!!! Definitely worth a look 👌 to top it off I had a little visitor - so cute

Really good quality local food and many clear vegan options on the menu. I went here four times during my stay and was always warmly greeted by Puspa and her team. We have the herbal drinks ( cinnamon with tamarind and tumeric drink). I prefer the tumeric one, but both are very nice. For main, we had nasi ricco ricco- this is so so goooodddd!! And had the noodle with javanese spices. The mangoes som tam was good!! I would recommend this place. Price is reasonable and food is delicious.

The starter was incredibly delicious and I had high hopes for the main. But the beef ribs were tough and chewy and the salad too perfumed and I couldn’t finish them. The ribs did have a nice sticky sweet flavour though. Very cheap so would be good if you’re on a tight budget. Staff are very friendly.

I often eat at Warung Mendez, and my favorite dishes are Rawon and Tempe Mendoan, which are always very delicious. However, today I was quite disappointed, because the staff informed me that now there is a 3% charge for payments using either card or QRIS. They said it was due to a new rule from the bank this month and also an order from the owner. But I personally have not found any official regulation regarding this. Based on my experiences so far, including last month when I came, there was no additional charge at all when paying with QRIS. Fortunately, I had just enough cash with me today, so I paid in cash and didn’t use QRIS. Actually, the 3% is not a problem for me if it is truly my responsibility as a customer. But according to Bank Indonesia Regulation No. 11/11/PBI/2009 Article 8 and the Consumer Protection Law No. 8 of 1999, transaction fees should not be charged to consumers. If the owner feels burdened by the MDR (Merchant Discount Rate) fee from EDC or QRIS, the proper step is to file a complaint or negotiate with the bank, not pass the cost on to customers. It is really unfortunate, because the food here is genuinely good and I like it. But this new policy is quite disappointing. I hope it can be reconsidered in the future so that dining at Warung Mendez remains enjoyable and in line with the applicable regulations. 📌 Note for customers: It’s better to bring cash when dining here, otherwise you will be charged 3% if paying by debit/credit card or QRIS, which by regulation is not supposed to be the customer’s responsibility.

It was a good food. It just the appetizer never comes first especially in Bali 😕 So better to always remind them if you want get it first. Lumpia is great also Nasi goreng bumbu Bali is kickin. They got a good WiFi connection. The ambience so-so as it’s quite dim.

Food tasted fine, but the service was unacceptable. We had already called the waitress, but when a white customer walked in, she started chatting with him and took his order first. He finished his meal before my food even arrived. As an Asian customer, I felt ignored and treated unfairly. Definitely not a place I would recommend.

Excelant Italian food. It is hard to find a real italian resturant that know to make it as in Italy. This is one of them. The pizzas, passta, all do by the book, and the charge a dissent price. The service was a little bit slow because there eas only one waiter, on a full capacity eaters. But she try it best. The place also nice set on the street, you can view from the balcony.

Had the Spaghetti Salmone Cream and Salami Pizza, both were authentically Italian and well-executed. Pasta was rich with generous cheese and cream; pizza had a solid crust and a properly reduced tomato base. Seating is limited to 7 tables, making it romantic and ideal for dates, but not suited for large groups. Very reasonable price.

Food is fine, delivery method is terrible. They use paper box for a saucy pasta. When food came, the box is already completely soft and all messed up. Sauce was all outside. Consider they’ve done it so many times I need to speak up this time. They also forgot all my chillies flake which I put in CAPITAL in the order. Just extra plastic.

Cheap and cheerful lunch done right. One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. That thin, crispy base is perfection. We shared the vegetarian, eggplant & gorgonzola, and pepperoni. Simple, delicious, and just what we needed whilst exploring Ubud. $27 AUD for three pizzas and three cans of sparkling water.

Quiet, peaceful & great service. The 1 for 1 cocktail during happy hour was pricey but delicious, pizza was so so. But we still love the place & friendly Staff !

I came here earlier this year with my partner because of this place’s fabulous service and drinks. I then came again and brought my friends. The staff are friendly and warm. The basil and ginger margaritas is absolutely phenomenal. We love this place and would recommend for anyone for looking for chill drinks and a lovely atmosphere.

We enjoyed our daily breakfast at Mingle. It’s a cafe that usually opens around 8. Their banana bread is very nice and filling.

Came here twice as we really enjoyed the food, both times i had the vegetable curry and my partner had the nasi goreng and a beef burger. The food is fairly priced and was really good, however on our second visit i ordered a ice cream float (coke & scoop of vanilla ice cream on top) however i was handed a half melted scoop of ice cream and just a can of coke- which defeats the whole purpose of being a “float”. Also just before paying our bill i noticed quite a large mouse running around the seating area eating all the food on the floor that the many staff failed to clean up. There’s numerous members of staff all just sat around doing nothing while there’s food on the floor. Our first visit was much better than our second, and even though they saw the mouse they failed to apologise for this, offer any sort of compensation and acted like it was nothing. Such a shame as we wanted to come here again.

Amazing food and drinks! We got Nasi goreng, sweet rolls with banana, pina colada and passionfruit alcoholic drink. All of it tasted amazing and the prices were great.

Cute little spot to rest and people watch, with great food and delicious drinks! Sitting upstairs allows a great view of the street below, you can watch the cars and people go by all day. The homemade pesto pasta and creamy mushroom pasta were amazing (and generous in serving size!) and we had a really great iced cappuccino. We have also previously stopped in for happy hour, and really enjoyed the strawberry daiquiris. Absolutely will be coming back!

This place has a pretty cool vibe. We have eaten here multiple times and were not vegetarians. Wife loves the Mediterranean platter, i had tempo burger, Thai salad, tapas..... we'll be back know doubt.

Beautiful cafe with amazing aesthetics in ubud. We arrived early as we were waiting for our driver to reach. Had a quick coffee and turmeric drink with croissant. Everything was great quality . Staff were friendly and we would like to visit again.

Fantastic menu, compliments to the chef- everything we’ve had has been delicious. We work around the corner and Lazy Cats has now became a regular lunch spot , despite not being vegetarians. Have tried 6/7 dishes now and each one has been great. Well priced and great price for a bintang. Playlists always hit. Happy customer :)

What a gem! Food was awesome. My fave was the jalapeno quesadilla but the tempeh burger was also very good. Wanna try the coffee and bowls next time! We also got the chickpea burger and tofu sushi

Absolutely loved this place! The food was excellent and the coffee was really good too. Prices are very reasonable, which made it even better. We enjoyed it so much, we came back 3 times during our 7-day stay in Ubud. Great variety on the menu. Highly recommended — and we’ll definitely be back again!

The atmosphere is warm, bright, and relaxed, perfect for slow mornings or a casual meet-up with friends. The food was fresh, colorful, and perfectly balanced. The chia pudding with dragon fruit, strawberries, and granola was refreshing and not overly sweet, while the poke bowl was packed with flavor and generous portions of tuna, avocado, edamame, and seaweed. You can tell everything is made with care and great ingredients. Coffee was excellent as always — smooth, aromatic, and beautifully served. The staff were friendly and efficient, adding to the laid-back, welcoming energy. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a delicious, healthy, and beautiful breakfast spot in Ubud. 5/5.

Was having the best morning here, having my proper breakfast after arriving in Ubud recently. It was the vibe that I enjoyed the most. Felt so nourished and charged being there for 2,5hr. The team there is a group of attentive people and they served genuinely from the heart. Especially Nana. She was such a sweet lady offering me a loyalty card right away. Happy to connect with her. I’d definitely come back and recommend this cafe🫶

I loved my breakfast it was called the chilli bae and it wasn’t very spicy at all. I then got the carrot cake was unreal it tasted fresh, fluffy and homemade, I highly recommend it! Great service by Febri she was wonderful! Thank you!

We had a yummy breakfast here! There was no line to wait and we got seated immediately. We ordered the green smoothie, breakfast smoothie, two sides of scrambled eggs, the classic pancakes, and the berry pancakes. They were all so yummy! The eggs were perfect and the smoothies were refreshing. I think our favorite was the green smoothie. It was yummy!

Really cute and small here! The staff are very nice and the food was very delicious. I got the tofu scramble which I high recommend. I also tried their sushi and it was very tasty as well.

This place deserve a 6 stars! Many reasons, starting with the staff, they are doing their best to deliver a nice and quick excellent food to customers! That evening?m, the restaurant was full of peeps, and they managed to make everyone happy! The juices were just amazing and I tried the tamarin, felt in love. We also had the vegan or vegetarian sushi as well as the dumplings, just amazing, really! I can feel the taste again while writing this review! Overall it was very cheap for this quality of food. Thanks again for this as I am not vegan or vegetarian myself but I would come back everyday if I was living in Ubud.

I'm probably a bit biased as I'm not a dedicated vegetarian so it wasn't my favourite meal in Ubud. However the price and portion size is excellent. My BF had their Nasi Campur which he gave 10/10.

Just make your way here. No regrets. Vegetarian and vegan mixed rice (Nasi Campur) where you have the flexibility to pick and choose what goes on your plate. A good range of fruit juices and desserts.

Great service, free Wi-Fi, cozy place, reasonable price, great desserts, the miso soup was tasty and warm, the sushi rolls could use more veggie filling, they taste like eating lots of rice. Loved the vegan lime pie and mango coconut pie. Light and cheap and healthy and tasty.

The nasi campur here is awesome! So much taste, and almost all of the options are vegan. The chocolate coconut cake is also very good.

We drove by this restaurant on our way back to our hotel. We looked it up and saw that it was highly rated, so we decided to venture back out and try it. The vibes were great! It was raining when we walked in, but we still sat outside and enjoyed it. Deni was a wonderful waitress and took great care of us — she was so attentive! The food was amazing, both in taste and spice! I wasn’t ready for the chili naan spice, but the drinks helped. The drinks were delicious — I definitely recommend the lychee and rose martini. Our favorite part was the playlist: all of our favorite Bollywood hits! We stayed just to listen and hang out while the rain calmed down.

Super delicious Indian food! Taste is very authentic! We were here on Diwali and were treated with special sweets prepared by the Chef Krishna. The staff are very polite and hospitable especially Gulab, Susila and Vinayak. Recommended place for authentic Indian food in Ubud Central.

Came here because a friend recommended it, he said it was the best Indian food he's found outside of India. Those are some pretty big words, but Queens of India truly delivered! My partner follows a vegetarian, no allium diet which is hard to find restaurants for but, this restaurant beat everywhere else that was highly rated by influencers 🤣 It's the best meal we've had in Bali so far, the flavours are full but balanced, food isn't too salty either and the spice was just right!! Dasta was so lovely, checking in to see if there was anything else we needed, his service was amazing! Thank you for a beautiful meal, if we were staying longer we'd definitely come back!! 🙏🏻

The dining room has a really good vibe, but keep your eyes open for the "hidden gems" inside the restaurant. The decor is thoughtfully put together, featuring unique artistic elements and beautiful touches that add a layer of intrigue and sophistication to the meal. Now, for the food: it was absolutely awesome! We decided to sample a variety of cuisines and were delighted with every plate. The South Indian dishes were authentic and perfectly spiced. We also indulged in some of the Chaat, which delivered that irresistible explosion of street food flavors. And surprisingly, the Manchurian was a huge hit, demonstrating the kitchen's mastery across different styles. Everything we tried was simply awesome. Queens of India delivers a royal experience through impeccable service, a beautiful setting, and unforgettable food. Highly, highly recommend 👍👍👍👍👍👍👌😀

What a menu!! There is so much to choose from. Not just food but drinks and desserts too. We ended up going for the Jerusalem wrap and the lemongrass tofu wrap with grilled veg and pesto. Both had so much flavour and were quite large portions. The sweet potato fries were a nice addiction. We also ordered the ice coffee with coconut milk and a mixed juice. The service was good and the vibe is very relaxed. It's located right next door to the local cinema so makes for the perfect dinner and movie spot.

Couldn’t have been more disappointed. I read somewhere that Earth Café was one of Ubud’s best vegan restaurants. In my experience it has been the worst place Ive visited since coming to Bali. I had such high hopes too, I wanted it to be good. On the menu everything looks amazing, but in real life it fell short. Pros - It is a cozy place, with good view over the rooftops of Ubud - Alot of dishes to choose from Cons - The service was terrible, they didnt notice us when we came in. The staff was chatting amongs each other and didnt pay attention to the guests - my ginger beer wasn’t so much a ginger beer as it was just ginger - the food was bland. No seasoning whatsoever. My fries where soggy after swiming in the Portobello burger juice. The burger didnt have any condiments (i.e. No ketchup, no mayo, no mustard etc.) - the charges atleast double from everywhere else. There are better alternatives. Check out the ”love burger” at ”Clear Café” (100 meter walk from ”Earth Cafe” - the worst part was that on our bill they had added a 40k ”service fee” on top of our food. And when handing them the money they didnt want to give me my 2k change. 2k is not alot of money, but weird for them to assume Id want to tip them. - bathroom was not clean. There soap dispenser what filled with just water I highly recommend walking the 100 meters to Clear Café instead. The service is much better, the food is fantastic and a overall much nicer place. They also have vegan options.

Their Falafel sandwiche is good, their Buckwheat is a disaster (I only eat the fresh fruit aside) their orange juice is good and their cocktail (orange & pineapple & papaya & mango) juice is AMAZING!! I don’t know how, but they could even ruin the smoothie... I gave 2 stars only because it is vegan. The place is really dirty, no pleasure to being there. Toilet is so terrible! After i visited the wc i lost my appetite at all! Prices! For 20$ we got soup (miso soup-terrible), pizza (more look like vegetables with piece of bread and yogurt) and smoothie...no more words... for 20$ i can have great food with huge portions in the Berlin center. Pls dont go there! If you still want to enjoy staying in Bali-then dont go. On the photo you can see this great pizza and soup:)

The food is overpriced 🤷‍♀️ You can find cheaper and better options in Zest or Bella. For 90k just had a hotdog with a ridiculous small amount of fries (u can see on 📸), the same with burger. Inside the cheapest tomatoes ever that taste like rubber. No welcome water or anything like that. And 15% Tax on top 🤨 The taste was ok but after you realize how much you payed 🤷‍♀️ Not worth it If you put your prices like 30% down, then we will not complain 🙏🏻

Very cozy place! Outside of busy roads, with great healthy food and products! Juices are fresh as in squeezed from the fruit. They have second floor view and A/C area. Great place to relax and recharge of good energy and delicious vegetarian / vegan food. Of course, many dishes are gluten free and wheat free.

It's not often I eat somewhere twice on vacation, but I am fighting off the urger to back to Earth Cafe a third time. The atmosphere has been quiet and chill, the service is prompt, and the food is DELICIOUS. Standouts have been the Jerusalem wrap, Mediterranean Platter, DIY salad bowl, and chocolate triangle dessert. Run, don't walk!

I had the tempura pumpkin lasagna, a detox juice and a chocolate almond truffle. Everything was amazing especially for this low price. I paid 114 for all together. Would Definitely recommend!

I recently visited Dayu’s Warung, and while it has its strengths, there’s room for improvement. This small restaurant has a broad selection of menu items, catering to different tastes and preferences, all at reasonable prices. I opted for the smoothie bowl, and while it was enjoyable, I’d give it a 3 out of 5. The ingredients were fresh, but the overall flavour didn’t quite hit the mark for me. I felt it could have used a bit more balance or texture to stand out. That said, it was still a decent and refreshing option, and I can see why others might enjoy it. The restaurant itself has a cosy atmosphere and a warm, welcoming staff. It’s small but well-organized, and the service was attentive without being overbearing.

Really great place for a vegetarian! I had a good smoothie and breakfast burrito. My partner had the black rice burrito and the corn fritters. It was really nice because they also had snacks you could purchase. I bought the spinach chips and rice crackers.

We really liked the cafe. We ordered lasagna, burritos, chicken in sour cream sauce. We liked everything. The original lasagna, where pumpkin is used instead of pasta layers. The dishes were brought quickly. You can go up to the second floor, the fresh wind blows very well there, it was comfortable to sit. After lunch, we went down to the ground floor and bought desserts and snacks, which were also delicious. The staff is friendly, there is a place to park.

Great food, cozy atmosphere at a local warung. The owner is also a talented artist with his art on display in the warung. He is also friendly. Had the avocado salsa, chicken spring rolls, balinese curry, lemongrass chicken & guacamole. I especially enjoyed the chicken spring rolls & guacamole.

I entered breakfast into Google maps and found a bunch of cool places. I saved them and visited one today. It turned out to be incredibly emotional, even my dress chosen by chance turned out to fit into the interior very casually. A young couple cordially fed us, they have local food, not spicy, we at least asked for one, the tropical cocktail turned out to be very tasty. And everything we ordered, too. It's amazing how the simplest food cooked with love can become a charge of joy for half a day 😍 And service without a service fee, for the first time I was happy to leave a tip, so that straight from the heart.

We are so impressed with this cosy warung! Over the course of a week we went several times and always had a great experience. The food was fresh and delicious. The portions just right and presentation was beautiful. We also enjoyed chatting with Nyoman the owner and were happy to have met his wife and staff - all very friendly and courteous people. Also, you can’t beet these prices! We’ll miss Abe-do!

Fantastic food and freshly made juice served in glass bottles... we were disappointed to leave it til our last day staying locally to go here. Definitely worth a visit for a cheap but absolutely delicious meal. Highly recommend the Balinese curry. Very fresh and full of flavour.

Amazing food in Bali at an affordable price. They have great vegan and vegetarian options and they offer healthy options like gluten free, and sugar cane syrup rather than sugar. They have a great selection in their menu. We had the mie goreng pork ribs and they melted in our mouth. Sooo delicious. We highly recommend the soups especially the curry noodle soup.

I really enjoyed my visit to this restaurant. The food was delicious, and I especially loved the chicken satay. The chicken had a slightly sweet flavor and was served with spicy sauce and cashew sauce, which made a perfect combination. I also added rice on the side, and it went really well with the dish. For dessert, I tried an Indonesian-style crepe and another sweet filled with coconut. Both were very tasty. The atmosphere is nice and pleasant. When I arrived, the place was full, so I had to wait about 5 minutes for a table, but it was definitely worth it. Prices are also reasonable.

We spent a day in Ubud and came across this restaurant by chance. We were pleasantly surprised by the wide gluten-free selection. The food was absolutely delicious, very affordable, and of great quality — everything was so, so tasty! The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about gluten in the dishes. There were plenty of gluten-free options, and the atmosphere was lovely. We would definitely come back again!

Great warung with a fresh, modern design as soon as you step in from the street. It was busy when we arrived which is always a good sign. Very vegan-friendly with plenty of options and the menu clearly labels the vegan dishes, which shows they genuinely consider customers with vegan preferences. The food was delicious and they have a selection of local desserts with vegan options and sorbets. Definitely recommend trying all of the vegan desserts available. Relaxed setting and would happily come back again.

Most incredible Indonesian food in our trip. We loved every plate we ordered. The vegan options are incredible as well. Staff was friendly and always willing to accommodate food allergies. Wish I could be back there eating right now. Great prices as well.

I have lived in Bali for over 4 years now and the Compound Warung is one of my favourite places to go! I am very picky about eating local food outside, but this one is highly recommended. I love that they have good quality Indonesian food, not only main courses but also some desserts, or as we call them jajanan pasar! Good prices as well!

Nice and quiet with lots of little cubicles to sit in and enjoy your food. Has a button system to alert them when you’re ready to order which was good. Fast turn around for the food, especially the drinks. Lovely staff with good English. I got the Nasi Campur which was so great, and my partner got the nasi goreng with ribs and equally enjoyable! Highly rate both dishes. My fresh coconut was large and super chilled which was amazing. Coconut sorbet was super tasty and they even gave us it on the house. We also ordered some dessert (pancake with coconut and banana fritters) but they were not as delicious as the main. Little out of the way down a street with some caged animals and a home stay but nice to be away from the loud streets of Ubud. I recommend this restaurant:)

It’s a small, very nicely appointed, two level dining room, right on MFR. We sat upstairs, which was a little quieter. We grazed on oysters, king prawns, octopus carpaccio, burrata cheese and barramundi. The highlights were the octopus and the king prawns, the least interesting were the oysters. The romesco sauce was a little overpowering. We had a bottle of wine which they kept chilled in a wine bucket, so didn’t try any of their cocktails. Service was very attentive and friendly, and I would consider the value as excellent.

Delicious food at PASIR last night, came here after seeing the menu that reminded me of great food I’d eaten in Israel, hoping for the same kind of tastes and quality and I was not disappointed! Two of us had two small plates, two from the garden plates and one pain and it was a huge amount of food! Each dish was delicious but I especially liked the hummus with crispy chickpeas, and the roast baby potato dish. Cocktails were equally yummy. Only slight downside was that we were taken upstairs as we had booked and there was no one else up there! So atmosphere a bit lacking, would have been better to sit downstairs where it was busier

INCREDIBLE INCREDIBLE ON EVERY ASPECT! After a couple days of Asian food, some Mediterranean/European cuisine was much needed and we couldn’t hit it better… Everything was delicious and bargain-priced. One of the best dinners in Bali, if not the one.

Visited in May 2025. Bali. Ubud. Nestled just a short distance from Ubud's bustling center and the playful antics of the Monkey Forest, lies Pasir Ubud, a charming eatery adjoined to a local hotel. The interior boasts a bright and airy ambiance, cleverly maximizing the space, and thoughtfully utilizes natural materials throughout the décor. FOOD: The menu, while concise, hints at a Mediterranean influence with a notable emphasis on seafood. It's divided neatly into sections featuring appetizers, main courses, and delectable desserts. Eager to sample a variety of offerings, we opted to focus on the appetizer selection. We began with the pasta, featuring prawns and a bisque. The pasta itself possessed a pleasingly smooth and delicate texture, cooked to the very edge of being overdone - although I confess, I generally prefer a more pronounced "al dente" bite. The sauce, however, was a triumph. A rich and intense prawn and seafood flavor permeated every strand, leaning towards a subtle creaminess rather than a dominant tomato base, and demonstrating a masterful balance of flavors. Next came the baked oysters, presented with a duo of intriguing sauces. We were particularly impressed by the consistency and structure of this dish. The oysters were tender, thoroughly infused with the flavors of the sauce, and blessedly free of any excess moisture - a true testament to the chef's expertise. Sadly, the white fish ceviche proved to be less successful. The fish possessed a somewhat peculiar texture and a disconcerting tendency to fall apart. It appeared the fish fibers had been damaged, possibly due to improper thawing techniques. Furthermore, the dish lacked any discernible acidity, resulting in a flavor profile that was decidedly bland. For dessert, we indulged in the coconut crème brûlée. While enjoyable, I confess I yearned for a more robustly caramelized crust of burnt sugar, echoing the iconic crispness of the original crème brûlée. The custard itself was smooth, creamy, and free of any unwelcome graininess. SERVICE: The service was both attentive and efficient. Our order was taken promptly, and the staff demonstrated exceptional problem-solving skills. When we expressed our disappointment with the white fish ceviche, we were graciously offered a complimentary dessert, a gesture greatly appreciated and reflective of a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction. VERDICT: Overall, we were thoroughly charmed by the cuisine and ambiance at Pasir Ubud. Almost every dish we sampled was delicious and brimming with its own unique personality. If you find yourself in Ubud, I would wholeheartedly recommend a visit to this delightful restaurant.

Service was impeccable as always - each dish was explained carefully to us. However 4/5 dishes we ordered were disappointing despite so many raving reviews! We were looking forward to this meal but it was definitely a let down - of no fault to the servers so we told them it was great regardless. The only dish we enjoyed were the Lombok Scallops. Grilled Octopus was overcooked and chewy and very bland. Lacked any sort of flavor whatsoever and the same with the Beef Cheek.. Octopus Carpaccio wasn’t horrible but wasn’t anything special either and the same with the Prawn Bisque Tagliatelle. Didn’t live up to the hype for us unfortunately.

Try to get a reservation to secure your spot. I came previous night but it was booked out. Looked good, so had to try. The feta dip with flatbread was really good. Asparagus was well flavoured. Spaghetti surprisingly good and grilled octopus was tender and had good sauce. Coconut panna cotta could have done with more sugar caramelisation at top though. Overall- worth it

Highlight of our Ubud trip so far! Best food so far! Came to ubud for a week long stay for our first time in Bali, was our BEST meal we had the whole trip. Amazing vegan meal as well as cocktails, fantastic service and relaxing atmosphere. Can't wait to come back asap as was the highlight of our trip

It’s such a cute place with a nice interior design. You feel right at home. The summer rolls and tahini sauce were delicious. I had a delicious turmeric and papaya smoothie. I’ll be back to try the other dishes.

Muse Cafe is a hidden gem indeed. The restaurant is located just a few minutes out of the busy city center of Ubud, making it less noisy and you won’t have to worry about breathing in car exhaust while you eat your breaky which is a huge plus. It is a second story, open air restaurant with beautiful views overlooking lovely palm trees. Plenty of sun all day long. They play calming instrumental music and the entire atmosphere of those place is very calming and serene. The staff are friendly and the food is delicious. I recommend the quinoa porridge with fresh dragonfruit, I had it multiple mornings during my stay in Ubud!

Everything in the menu is so good! Stayed in the villa next door and this was my breakfast spot everyday. Service was fast and staff was very friendly as usual like everyone in Bali.

really liked this place! further away from the busy street, great atmosphere & views. the service was great too. i had the pumpkin & spinach dosa with spicy (pretty mild for me) sambhar. the dosa was so good! also had the jamu which was great.

Absolutely delicious food this evening. The thali was a great choice as was the butter chicken. Portion sizes are good as well. I would go again and probably have the same again!

Went for dinner with my young family, all the meals and drinks were very flavoursome. Came back for breakfast and equally impressed, adults and kids all very happy.
