Bizes is a charming bistro located near the casino, offering a unique dining experience with all their dishes grilled on a Josper oven. This cooking method not only enhances the flavor of meats but also brings out the fantastic taste and texture of vegetables. The menu features creative interpretations of French classics with an array of unusual seasonings, catering to both meat lovers and vegetarians alike.
Wow! This restaurant surpassed our expectations. The food is absolutely incredible. The octopus and steaks were cooked to perfection with a beautiful sear on the outside. The have a nice selection of wine to choose from. The owner and staff are friendly, warm and welcoming. They treat you like family. The chocolate dessert was delicious as well. Such a lovely dining experience. So glad to find this gem.

Bizes hits the mark on many measures. It’s top cuisine that you don’t have to dress for - welcome in an outdoor activity town. Ambiance is shaped by the windows on a rushing, glacier-fed river. Friendly multilingual staff, a small and cheerful space and creative, delicious contemporary food and drinks. Wonderful vegetarian as well as regular fare and gluten-free everything.
Melody K — Google review
The best meal I’ve had my entire trip. It’s so tasty and the staff are excellent. We had the rib eye and pork belly as our main with the bean salad. And the cauliflower starter to share. The wine choice by the glass was excellent as well. Grab a table by the water for a great romantic view too.
Simone — Google review
Beautiful menu, very vegetarian friendly, we would have liked to order everything! The food was absolutely gorgeous We took a table outside as we had our dog but inside is probably nicer You will need to reserve in advance
Grey S — Google review
Visited this quaint little restaurant while in Chamonix and it certainly did NOT disappoint! It was busy but they managed to free up a table for us right by the window overlooking the water. I had an espresso martini and it was delicious! I also ordered the ribeye steak, and everything was perfect. The steak, the salad and the fries. My friend had the pork belly and she thoroughly enjoyed it. My husband had the lamb shank and it was probably my favourite of all the dishes! The staff were all very friendly and clearly took pride in what they do! Definitely don’t miss this restaurant, 10/10 would recommend!
Monika M — Google review
This was our second time in Chamonix in the past two years, and by far this is our favorite restaurant. We originally found it searching for steak, but were blown away by one flavor bomb after another. The vibe is cute and edgy, with the river flowing in the back and a cheerful, welcoming staff. The house-made bread with tomato pesto was absolutely delicious. The cauliflower appetizer could have been my entire meal — so complex and rich with flavors and textures that I studied the menu afterward to dissect the ingredient list. (something I’ve never done before!). My boyfriend’s pork came with a BBQ sauce layered with a potent flavor I couldn’t name — maybe almond butter? The stuffed mushroom lived up to its name — stuffed me with pleasure! On our second visit, I ordered the chicken curry, thinking, “How good can a curry be?” Another banger. Somehow they managed to elevate chicken curry to new heights. I kept sneaking glances at the chefs working in the tiny kitchen — true artists. I wanted to ask them, “WHAT is going on in there?!” Throw me a bone! Just one! This is one of my favorite restaurants of all time, ranking alongside the few Michelin-starred meals I’ve had. The waitresses were sweet and attentive, and we even had a lovely chat with a fellow climber seated next to us — one of those evenings where you leave blissful and nourished. In fact we felt so grateful, my darling boyfriend paid for the man’s meal we sat next to on the way out. Well done, Bizes. Please continue!

amazing little bbq restaurant. highly recommend the octopus as it was amazing. The steak was also cooked to perfection exactly as ordered which was great. Save some room for the chocolate dessert you won't be disappointed

This was our best meal in Chamonix! Service was excellent and food was delicious. They don’t treat you like a tourist and it’s not rush in / rush out like most places. Also, get a seat by the water. It’s extra special. 100% recommend!

Poco Loco Burger, located in Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, France, is a popular spot known for its delicious and affordable burgers. Visitors have praised the nice service and quick delivery of their tasty meals. The restaurant's charming ambiance with lovely pictures on the tables adds to the overall dining experience. If you're looking for a place to enjoy great burgers at reasonable prices while exploring Chamonix, Poco Loco Burger is worth considering.
This place was a total vibe. Right on the main road of Chamonix and a great spot. The bread for the burgers were soooooo good! There is definitely a wait if you get there later in the night, but it was super worth it. We got this meal multiple times because the sandwiches were that flavorful. The staff is super young and highly energetic. The upstairs seating is just great pub style seating and fun. You can hang out outside and drink there as well. The food is well priced and filling. I would highly recommend this spot!
Raj S — Google review
I had the Spicy Kili and it was perfect. It is one of the best burgers I’ve had. What’s special about the burger here is the bread. It’s not your regular soft bun but a rustic/baguette type bread. The staff here are extremely friendly. When I first went there, there was a 40 minute wait time for your burger to be ready and no seats were available. So I skipped and returned the following day and was able to sit and dine immediately.
Dulaj S — Google review
Nice place to stop and eat. Really cool atmosphere especially for music lovers. They have great food. Flavor, portions and pricing are all good. They have indoor seating upstairs but I also see people stop and eat outside. My chicken sandwich was so yummy especially with siracha sauce.
Reece G — Google review
My family ate here all 3 days living in Chamonix. The burgers are tasty with unique and fresh bread. The owner says that the bread a fresh. They made them everyday in the early morning. The special of Poco Loco burgers are crunchy bread, that is different from soft breads of other burgers. It reminds me of “bánh mì” from Vietnam. The price is reasonable. The staffs are very friendly. The restaurant is very small and hot during summer. You can only eat in from 18.00. But I see most people eat outside or take away. The only minus point is about the kid menu. The first day, 5 pieces of fried chicken. The second day, 3 pieces. The third day, 2 pieces. That’s really weird! I highly recommend Poco Loco. My favorites are burgers Atlas and Latino. Chicken burger are better than beef burgers.
Minh H — Google review
Burgers were amazing! Fries were crispy and delicious 😋 We tried the hashbrown burgers, spicy and hot. They were humongous with a fresh baked bun that was good enough to eat alone. I would have liked to buy a dozen to take home. If you like a burger, dont miss this place. Its perfect for hungry TMB hikers.
Kelli M — Google review
Top quality burgers in Chamonix. It may be busy but it is worth the wait. It can get a bit cramped waiting in line when busy and gets busy outside with people waiting to collect their orders and standing eating there food. Great choice on menu.
Davie ( — Google review
Tiny spot for burgers and crepes to take away, although, I think they have some seating inside. I made a mistake to take the heaviest burger- double patty, hashbrown, reblochon. It was great, but too much for me. Girls behind the counter are lovely, great service.

Excellent double hamburger with Gruyère cheese and bacon. Fresh roll and excellent quality beef. They also have sandwiches they two buddies had which were really good. Highly recommend!

French restaurant
Bistro
Chez Constant is a trendy restaurant that offers a fusion of traditional and contemporary Savoyard cuisine. The menu features rich and hearty French comfort food, including 3-cheese fondue, tartiflette, and charcuterie. The friendly and well-trained staff present the dishes creatively in an eloquent manner. While not inexpensive, the food is authentic and represents modern Savoyard cuisine at its best.
I liked the place mostly because of the attentive and fast service. Super transparent with the timings and the availability of dishes. Definitely a place to visit if you are nearby. On arrival they offered us a sample of pea appetizers. The wood decorations make the place look beautiful. Desserts are excellent and they offer plates of the day as well.
Jaime C — Google review
Spent the day in Chamonix and wanted local cuisine for lunch, Chez Constant did not disappoint. We had the Tartiflette Au Reblochon which was good, the Boite Chaude which was very good, and then the Croûte Savoyarde À La Crème De Morilles which was amazing! Definitely recommend. The escargot was also delicious. Each of had a glass of wine and still water. If in town again we’d return.
Pamela E — Google review
Came here today (5 September) and had a lovely waiter (didn't get his name) but he was kind and patient enough to even was teach us phrases in French! Service was great and attentive, food came out quick. The burger was possibly one of the best ones I've ever had. Would come again just for this. Trout dish was also good and starter salad also solid choice. Crepes were ok.
Michelle N — Google review
Chez Constant serves exactly what you'd like to eat when on vacation - excellent food with great service. The fondue was great. The waitress nicely made sure we understood the pricing, how to eat it, and checked in on us a couple of times. Don't order the extra potatoes if you get the fondue. They're basic steamed potatoes and don't add much. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. Staff speaks English and is very helpful.

Truly amazing experience 👍 From the appetisers, mains and dessert...our palates were pleasantly satisfied Recommendations were spot on, Christmas menu was delicious. Service was excellent 👌 Do make a reservation
Kelvin — Google review
Cozy interior with a hospitable staff. The beef tartare was terrible, but other dishes were decent. I am willing to try again, but do not order the beef tartare. It is mixed with an insane amount of pickles so it just tastes like pickled raw beef. I tried to salvage it by adding olive oil and pepper, but ultimately the pickles made this disgustingly sour. The fries that accompanied it contained way too much salt. My wife had a nice salad, but it’s not too special.
M L — Google review
Chez Constant sits by the entrance to the Chamonix town (coming in from the slopes). We were starving and already read the raving reviews of CC. 5 of us walked in around 2:30pm (Restaurant has posted a closing time from 3-7pm) but we were still greeted warmly and seated right away. Our server (forgot his name but didn't forget how gracious he was with us) got us menus, water, drinks and let us figure out what we want. He brought us a sampler, cold pumpkin soup. It was delicious, a lot of flavor and tasted fresh. My friends ordered the Foundue (minimum 2 orders) and the French special of oven-baked potatoes with bacon, ham, cheese and nutmeg. I ordered the Winter Vegetable Bowl (due to lactose intolerance) and it was beyond my expectation. The texture and taste of lentil, pumpkin puree, carrots and something crunchy on top mixed really well together. The presentation was top-notched. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and esp with the hospitality. Not once did we felt rushed ( over-stayed past the 3pm) Hope to be back at Charmonix and Chez Constant.
DJ L — Google review
Amazing service. We loved the location and sitting outside and people watching. They welcome you with welcome shots. Very friendly and relaxing vibe. Good wine selection and very cute decor inside. The lamb was insanely good and the charcuterie board did not disappoint. I made a mistake and broke my own rule of not eating ocean fish in the mountains, and had Tuna. It was a bit dry and I didn’t feel very good after eating it. Not gona make a big fuss about it but I poved this place overall and how good the lamb was it kinda made me forget.

Panier des 4 saisons is a charming restaurant in Chamonix, offering classic French dishes with a modern twist. The menu focuses on seasonal ingredients sourced from local producers, ensuring fresh and flavorful meals. The cozy ambiance and attentive service make it a popular choice for visitors staying nearby. While the restaurant may not be ideal for vegetarians, meat lovers will appreciate the well-cooked cuts available, such as the Steak Au Poivre.
We ordered the French Onion Soup, Green Salad, Cheese Plate, Duck Foi Gras, Sea Bass, and Rump Steak. Everyone was happy with their selection. My only disappointment was that I didn't have enough appetite for dessert. Food and service were both excellent. I will definitely go back if we return to Chamonix.

Me and my partner had dinner in your restaurant. The hostess asked us about the water but even 45(!) minutes of waiting it didn’t arrive so I had to ask for it again. The wine arrived after the starter was served and not before. Guests who arrived after us had their drinks already but we were still waiting even if the restaurant wasn’t full… The food is absolutely delicious but the service could be better
Natasha756 — Google review
A hidden gem in Chamonix. Very tasty food and great service. The only tiny thing that could have been better was the lighting. The spotlights was very strong and would have made it more enjoyable with a bit more dimmed lighting. We would definitely recommend this restaurant
Patrik L — Google review
Fantastic French restaurant showcasing authentic French techniques and fresh ingredients. Wine list was amazing. Love their choice of tableware. The restaurant was filled in a matter of minutes. The only negative point was the lack of service staff. There was only a poor guy serving the entire restaurant that night but he still managed to pull it off! Another wait staff would help ease the situation.
K — Google review
We had a delicious meal here before starting the TMB! After the meal we forgot our bag and they were super kind and called us and waited for us late to ensure we got it back! Great food and great people.
Matthew M — Google review
Everything was quite mediocre. The soupe à l’oignon was very thin and translucid, not much taste. The food itself was lacking salt and quite ordinary for €33. The risotto wasn’t cooked well and scallops felt like they were frozen. The waiter brought us the wrong wine, we ordered one of €39 ans he brought us one of €64. There are many other places way better than this one. Don’t recommend it.

We visited 4 times during our 3 week stay in Chamonix. Delicious French meals with exquisite sauces and beautiful wines, a very comfortable, homely and lively vibe off the main drag. Well done to the team !

MBC Chamonix Microbrewery, also known as Micro Brasserie de Chamonix, is a popular spot for beer enthusiasts and food lovers. Founded by four Canadians with a passion for brewing, this microbrewery offers a range of real ales and lagers made from top-quality ingredients without any preservatives or additives. The brewery has gained a strong reputation for its great beer, delicious food, and live entertainment, making it a favorite hangout for both locals and visitors.
What a pity that we found this place on the last day. This is the kind of pub I love, no fancy stuff just friendly atmosphere, good food, fine drinks & beers. You have to try the corn! For me this is a top pick in Chamonix. Thanks!

Awesomeness! Great beer and excellent burgers and ribs. Service staff enjoy their job which makes for a great experience.

This place offers a large selection of American-style dishes and is decorated with Canadian symbols and artifacts, creating a cozy and casual atmosphere. The portions are generous and tasty, making it a great spot if you’re craving comfort food. The service is friendly, though it can get a bit slower when the restaurant is busy. Overall, it’s a good place to enjoy familiar American dishes and pair them with a nice beer.
Hila — Google review
Good food, family friendly service with the kitchen open until late 👍 Burgers are tasty, fries a little bit overcooked and under salted for my taste, but staff very friendly and accommodating ✌️
David G — Google review
Sat at the bar and had to wait a little since it was really busy, but the bartender was super nice (and cute 😊) and made the wait worth it. Tried the Blue Bird Blond and absolutely loved it. The atmosphere is lively and fun, though it can get a bit crowded with people pushing past when it’s packed. Ended up chatting with another solo guest at the bar which added to the experience. The burger was really good too, nicely presented. Overall, I’d definitely come back for the drinks, the food, and the great vibes!
Elivan K — Google review
Hi!!! I’ve been coming to this bar regularly because I really like their beers and the atmosphere. However, during my last visit, I had a very disappointing experience with the manager. When we asked for the bill, I noticed two beers that we hadn’t ordered or consumed. I mentioned it politely, and the cashier corrected the mistake without any issue. When it came time to pay, I paid my part (about €20) in coins of €1, €2, and €0.50. The manager stepped in and said that paying with coins “wasn’t cool,” even though I wasn’t taking extra time or disturbing anyone. His attitude was rude and unprofessional, especially considering that I’m a regular customer who always pays properly. It’s a shame, because I’ve always liked this place, but the way we were treated completely ruined the experience. I really hope they work on improving their customer service, especially from management🙏🏼🙏🏼

Cool Cats is a popular counter-serve restaurant located in the center of town, offering gourmet hot dogs, nachos, and vegan options. The artisanal hot dog bar is housed in a shack by the river and is open daily for lunch and dinner. In addition to their focus on hot dogs, they also offer veggie, vegan, and non-dog alternatives. The restaurant provides a sizable terrace for outdoor seating where guests can enjoy their delicious food.
Even the hot dogs taste great in France! Soft, butter, fresh buns, super flavorful sausage and idk what the French are doing to their pickles but those were great too. Definitely worth a stop by!
Savvy J — Google review
Great lunch here over a very busy weekend with the marathon on - the staff stayed extremely calm and polite under pressure. We managed to grab a table in the shade on a super hot day and shared frites with aoli, classic hotdogs with local smoked sausage and a couple of blonde beers. All delicious and reasonably priced would recommend.
Tracey-Lee S — Google review
We were looking for a place to have lunch in Chamonix, but many restaurants closed at 14:30 or only served dinner. Luckily, Cool Cat was still open at 15:00. The hot dogs were large portions and very tasty. We were two adults and two kids, all quite hungry, so I ordered four hot dogs along with fries and sweet potato fries. In hindsight, the fries weren’t really necessary, the hot dogs alone were very filling. They were delicious, but the fries were oily and soft. You place your order at the counter, and they provide free water, which is nice. One downside is that the restaurant doesn’t have a toilet.
Huining L — Google review
We really enjoyed ourselves here! Simple and to the point hot dogs in a variety of solid flavours and generous portions. The menu can be confusing for a first-timer, and also not all the hot dogs come with a sausage (see the ingredients in the description). We had a couple of different hot dogs to share and each was unique and delicious, they averaged around €13 each. We had the Mexican fries for the side at €9 which were loaded with cheese and sauce, but admittedly a little pricey. Overall, a good spot to hang out and have a simple meal while at Chamonix, especially since the other joints can be much pricier.
Jonathan C — Google review
We visited this place in the summer of 2025. It was a great visit. First of all the hot dogs were literally the best ones I had ever eaten so that is all that matters. It was busy there. Great ambiance. I think it might have been the owner doubling as a DJ while we were eating. It would have been easy to just eat there every day but Chamonix is a very busy town with so many things to try!
Jamie S — Google review
The most gourmet hotdogs I’ve ever eaten. With an extensive menu something for everyone Mexican, burger flavour, the brick is awesome and their loaded fries are delicious too. Great selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks great place to stop have a quick feed close to Mont Blanc and all the lifts and fill up before the next adventure.
Tim E — Google review
Finished a hike today and me and my wife can't resist a good hot dog. This spot is right up there with the legendary gas station hot dogs in lceland. The flavor profiles are incredible so many options that you could come here multiple days in a row and never have the same flavor style twice. Combine that with the phenomenal atmosphere, and it's a must-stop if you're in Chamonix.

The mediterranean restaurant ELA in is culinary paradise for foodies. Love this place! The falafel are just perfect. Super crispy on the outside and fluffy and soft on the inside. Salads are delicious and all the sauces, too. Hummus is the winner! Staff are very friendly, and they can cater for gluten-free and veggie/vegan diets, which is not always easy to find! Definitely recommend. Will definitely come back :)

This spot is an 11/10. So amazing, truly a culinary gem. Unassuming and not touristy at all, genuinely one of the best Mediterranean spots I’ve had in a long time. Skip the tourist trap restaurants in the middle of town and come here. I’ve had the falafel wrap, the brisket wrap, and the chicken w tomatoes and fennel wrap and they were all amazing. Their bakery and coffee service is also spectacular. Get the cookie if they’re still available when you come in and the flat white . Unreal 🔥🔥🔥

One of the best restaurants I’ve tried in the Chamonix area! The staff are extremely kind, helpful, and genuinely welcoming even with children, their service is outstanding. The restaurant is very clean, and the food is delicious with great variety. They also offer an impressive selection of soft drinks. Highly recommended I would definitely come back again!

We loved our lunch so much! All the wraps were absolutely delicious. I'm not normally a falafel girl, but I couldn't get enough! I don't even know where to start describing how awesome everything was - just go and try it :) As an added highlight, we really enjoyed meeting the chef Steph. He is very sweet and cares a huge deal about the quality of the food he serves. So lucky we chose this place for our lunch in Chamonix!
Svitlana G — Google review
The best Mediterranean wraps my family have ever had. They were truly extraordinary. We’d consider making a trip from another town just to eat here again. Thank you Steph!!!
Roger G — Google review
Absolutely phenomenal. Out of every place I've ever eaten, I've only had a similar experience in 2 other places. I got a chicken wrap with falafel and tzatziki, and safe to say, it was the best wrap I've ever tasted. The vegetables were perfect, the sauce was delicious, the bread was soft, the meat was flavorful, and the falafel was just decadent. Truly a spiritual experience eating it at the nearby field with the gorgeous mountains in the background. If you ever find yourself in Chamonix, I demand you to go here.

I ate here on Monday and it was absolutely incredible. I had the brisket bento box and it was faultless. The service was great and although quite pricey, it was worth every penny.

Gluten-free restaurant
Located at the end of Rue des Moulins, ORGANIC épicerie petite restauration is a unique blend of a shop and a cafe offering an array of unusual and healthy food items. The place is popular among runners for its gluten-free and vegetarian pre-prepared meals. It opens daily from 8 am, serving fresh organic meals like Asian-inspired salads, freshly squeezed juices, and hearty soups. Visitors can also explore the small organic specialty market within the establishment.
This place should not be missed if you care about quality food. Gluten free options were extremely good. Vegetarian and vegan options as well. Their quiche has so many delicious and thoughtful ingredients, it is not to be missed with breakfast. Plenty of take away options for fresh food and great options for throwing in the pack and swill eating healthy. The owners have incredible local food recommendations that were on point. Can say enough good about this place.
Seth H — Google review
Our favorite lunch spot in Chamonix! The vegan options are wonderful. I enjoyed the lasagna 3 days in a row ha.. absolutely amazing and the staff is lovely. Must visit.
Michelle L — Google review
Not sure why it has such bad review - we received a fabulous service and delicious food. Great for people with food restrictions like gluten or lactose intolerance. One star minus is for the plastic dishes that are used instead of nice ceramic ones / they even sell ceramic pots. We would come again.
Marianne M — Google review
It gives me no pleasure to leave this review after previously giving this restaurant 5 stars. I live locally and visited this place probably 30+ times. Here are the problems: 1. It seems like no matter how often or what time you visit, the owners are *always* rushing you out the door. They will begin reminding you that they are closing sometimes over an hour before actual closing time. This is a baffling business strategy and does not encourage you to feel welcome or comfortable. Always a sense that they want you to leave quickly, even when they are friendly on the surface. 2. Food portions are laughably small for the price and the fact everything is premade and in cartons. If you are vegetarian, good luck with protein. They include two tiny strips of tofu that probably cost them 20 cents, add a bit of rice, and charge you 15 euros. 3. They charge more than nearby cafes for coffee, yet the espresso is from a keurig cup instant coffee type machine. Their parents, who also work here, are incredibly lovely, as are the location and design of the place. It's a shame they opt to charge a lot for a little and are so intent on closing and running out of the store all the time. This could have been the best spot in Chamonix...
Os L — Google review
Loved everything about this organic restaurant in Chamonix, from the Matcha milkshake, to the Indian French fusion lunch, to the cute patio. Did not share the experience of other reviewers and highly recommend this lovely spot.
Joanna G — Google review
Nice terrace and quiet location but shocked by the rudeness of the owner shouting at her personnel for something stupid😊The coffee didn’t taste good at all so left our drinks and went somewhere else.
Ann H — Google review
Horrible coffee, horrible service. Shame because the concept is nice, but it you don't want to pay 5 euros for a machine coffee and really awful, rude service then don't come here.
Liz W — Google review
Terrible experience. The owner was rude and absolutely not welcoming. The coffee was aweful as well. Never going there again.

Small cup for cappuccino, but what a beautiful cup! U pay more for art, it is quite place, cozy for friends meeting or 1st time date. Alone from outside sit u have high Mountain View (: recommended to take your coffee there and enjoy it with WiFi. Also don’t forget to buy postcards from there 😍 was artsy&unique! Envelope could be updated(:

I would like to recommend a pancake. The pancake with so soft with the combination of whipping cream and chocolate, absolutely perfect. Coffee also good, The outdoor area also have a very good view.

Fantastic cafe right in center of chamonix. Their pastries are made by a 21 year old pastry chef who definitely knows what they are doing. The cinnamon roll and pain au chocolat are both 10/10 — couldn’t recommend them enough. Their Canadian brunch dish is also a great dish of meats and cheeses to pick at. Also they have many gluten free options…see the picture for specifics.
Zac S — Google review
I loved my falafel salad and chocolate lava cake. I just would have liked more vegan options, especially a hot one given the cold, snowy weather outside - I would have then given 5 stars. Service was wonderful.
S D — Google review
What a disappointing experience. Initially this looked like a great cafe stop for lunch in Chamonix. We ordered a slice of tart and small mixed side salad (quite pricey at 13.80) Tarte was tasty as was the salad until my friend I was having lunch with found a lump of mud/earth in her salad - the size of a 10 cent piece. Naturally this put her off finishing her salad. We mentioned it lightly to the waitress who was apologetic and would inform the kitchen. When we went into the cafe to pay, there was no mention made of this, but we were asked again if all was good - seemed like a good opportunity to say we had mud in the salad - instead of receiving an apology, the owner became rather defensive and even told my friend that as she is a regular customer she knows this is not normal - seriously!!! just a genuine apology and maybe a gesture would have changed the whole experience but we left feeling very uncomfortable at politely giving feedback.
Caro S — Google review
Now it’s my favourite place in Chamonix for slowing down for a moment and enjoy life and mountains. The staff is very friendly, I asked them to cut the cake in 2 parts, because it’s too much for me - and I didn’t expect they would decorate it so nicely on two plates. It’s my fourth time here, super good coffee, fresh and delicious desserts, nice music, you feel like you’re their favourite guest. Thank you for this amazing experience. See you tomorrow ! 😍
Khrystyna K — Google review
Cute cafe in Chamonix! We stopped for coffee, so we didn’t try any food, but there were lots of pastry options that looked delicious! The cappuccino was decent, not the best I’ve ever had but also not the worst. The cafe had both indoor and outdoor seating and the outdoor area has a nice view!

The food in Le Shack was really amazing, I had a breaded cod and enjoyed it a lot. The service was friendly and asked me how I liked my food afterwards. You can get free water with two types of flavours. Loved the place!

Gorgeous little spot with the friendliest staff in chamonix. We stopped for coffee and sat on comfy seating watching the world go by. We had freshly made coffee and felt very welcome.

Kimcheese was a real surprise for how good it tasted, didn’t really like kimchi before as I had only ever had it in its own, but the food here was incredible and made me wanna eat more!

Delicious and very reasonably priced modern Asian street food. Inventive flavors and fresh ingredients in the salmon ceviche bowl and superb ‘special’ rice bowl. A very good slightly smoky Paloma and nice selection of good beers. Simple outdoor seating. Extremely well curated music, including some classic reggae. Friendly, authentic staff. Highly recommended.
Steve J — Google review
At Le Shack, our dining experience encompassed a delightful assortment of approximately 8 sharing plates, culminating in an extraordinary and unforgettable night. Each dish showcased an exquisite fusion of spices, herbs, and flavors, carefully curated to present a truly unique and captivating gastronomic journey. Among the standout offerings, the grated sweet potato left an indelible impression as it tantalized the palate with its intriguing marinade, an alluring blend of vinegar and aniseed(we think). This bold and unconventional combination delivered a burst of flavors that elevated the dish to an unparalleled level of culinary artistry. Not to be overshadowed, the dumplings showcased a culinary craftsmanship that merged crispiness and juiciness harmoniously, resulting in a symphony of textures that delighted the senses. Additionally, the beetroot plate showcased a mesmerizing symphony of flavors, leaving an unmistakable mark on our taste buds with its phenomenally harmonious composition. Without reservation, we wholeheartedly endorse this establishment as a must-visit culinary destination. It presents an exceptional dining experience that promises to leave a lasting impression on even the most discerning of palates. Moreover, it is essential to acknowledge the exemplary service at Le Shack, where a friendly and attentive staff demonstrated their profound knowledge of the menu, enhancing our overall enjoyment of the meal. This commitment to hospitality further elevated the overall experience and solidified our conviction in recommending this extraordinary culinary haven to all who seek a truly remarkable dining adventure.

This quickly became our favourite place in Chamonix. The views of mountains, the glacier and Mont Blanc were spectacular, and the food was far better than it had any right to be for a small outside shack! The pork tacos were stunning. If you want a relaxed outside bar with great views, service, food, and atmosphere then this ticks all the boxes.

Nestled in the heart of Chamonix, Yumidori is a delightful haven for sushi lovers and fans of Japanese cuisine. This restaurant stands out not only for its extensive gluten-free menu—save for its curry—but also for the exceptional talent behind the sushi counter. The chef has earned accolades, including being a runner-up at the esteemed World Sushi Championship. Diners rave about the beautifully crafted dishes that burst with fresh flavors and artistic presentation.
A gem of a restaurant in a city that serves mostly Savoyard dishes and french specialties! Although lovely, it was great to see this sushi restaurant open the whole day, even at 3pm when we needed a late lunch after just getting back from aguille du midi! 💖 It was literally a lifesaver! I had the pleasure of meeting the sushi chef in action, who's won accolades for his incredible work! Truly, the Salmon Aburi is more than testament enough for his mastery of the craft. It was nothing like other sushi stores make the mistake of the most: too much rice and too little fish! Although the chirashi and sushis were great, the ready-to-eat plates were just pretty ok, and is far from authentic Japanese. The Karaage, although enjoyable, was drenched in too much tonkatsu sauce. The Miso soup was obviously an instant one that they just put hot water on to re-heat. The set-up of the restaurant is a bit self-service and has a more take away than dine-in appeal. Other than that, i still definitely recommend this place just for the stellar sushi platters they offer.
Rian G — Google review
World class sushi in Chamonix. I've visited here twice now, and both times have been excellent. The food is beautifully prepared, fresh, and tasty. Me and a friend shared the 45 peice platter with some extra sides. What a great experience for the taste buds. My personal favourite is the tuna spring roll, but to he honest, every single item is expertly put together with perfectly balanced flavours and stunningly presented. If you're a fan of sushi, then I highly recommend you try Yumidori.
Lee K — Google review
I grabbed a fried chicken curry to go, it was taken from the fridge and heated in microwave rather than freshly make. Not sure if it is different when dine in. As expected, the chicken is not crispy at all anymore. But the curry sauce and rice are legit so it’s not too bad. I would suggest to order something that is make by order.
Agnes C — Google review
The chicken and beef curry were so good, we came here twice during our stay. The portions were a bit small.
Katie K — Google review
Very nice place with nice interior. The sushi is very well made, it looks delicious and testes very fresh. Staff is friendly. Price is on the higher side for sushi, but what do you expect when having sushi in the middle of the Alps? Came here twice and quality was consistent.
Albrecht C — Google review
This had to be the worst sushi I have ever had. The green “artisan” sauce makes bad sushi worse. I have never left a sushi restaurant with food still on the plate and we left multiple pieces. First review I have ever made, as the 4.6 stars failed me. Sorry.
Ryan M — Google review
Much better than expected. Food is fresh and is well prepared. Salmon sashimi was really excellent. Much higher value than you would expect from such a place that looks like a run of the mill sushi place.

Can you say Vegan Sushi in Chamonix? Delicious and a beautiful piece of food art. They also have normal sushi. Vegan desserts as well. Nice outside patio. I would highly recommend this place as it was so delicious.
