1Mithra Cave Hotel Cappadocia

Hotel
Mithra Cave Hotel Cappadocia is a charming and upmarket hotel located on Aydinli Hill in Goreme, offering stunning views of the famous fairy chimneys and colorful hot air balloons. The hotel's polished rooms and suites, some featuring whirlpool tubs, provide a comfortable stay with high-end amenities. Guests can enjoy the panoramic vistas from the terrace, making it an ideal spot to witness the spectacle of hot air balloons rising into the sky.
We stayed in Mithra Cave hotel for three nights this summer during our trip to Cappadocia. The architecture of the hotel is absolutely amazing. You can see the entire Goreme town and hot air balloons from its rooftop and the rooms are comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and fresh. Finally, their service and hospitality was excellent. Hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.
Rehnuma M — Google review
(I'll be back in Göreme, but I won't be staying at this hotel again.) I chose this hotel because it's beautiful and has a lovely rooftop terrace for watching the balloons. It's well-located and well-decorated. It's a very Instagrammable hotel. I didn't feel welcomed upon arrival. The staff didn't give us a warm welcome. I think the reception is the hotel's gateway. They must have friendly staff. In my case, it wasn't. Breakfast leaves something to be desired. The orange juice wasn't fresh 😲 The coffee was so weak it tasted like tea🙄 The room was beautiful; we stayed in room 41, and the decor was really nice. The air conditioning worked well, as did the refrigerator. Except for the fan, which could have been a little more modern. It didn't match the rest of the decor. But it wasn't a big problem. However, I had a bad experience on the last day with the housekeeping staff. I didn't put the sign on the door to avoid cleaning the room, and she rudely explained to me how to do it. I know how to behave in hotels because I've stayed in many. So I know how a room sign works. She didn't speak a word of English, which made communication difficult. My husband reported the incident, and the manager, Emre, kindly came to the room personally to apologize, and then I received a plate of cold, fresh fruit. My reaction was to cry of anger. This had never happened to me before. Staff don't need to speak perfect English, but they should at least know a few words to communicate with guests; after all, English is a universal language. If a person can't speak the language, their body speaks. That's hers, she said rudely. I've never felt so bad. Don't let this happen to more guests, because it makes all the difference when choosing this hotel. It was just a small detail: she could have said, "No problem, back later." If she had, my review would have been completely different. Because of her, the hotel's rating will drop another star. I won't return to this hotel, nor will I recommend it.
Dani D — Google review
My stay at Mithra Cave Hotel was truly unforgettable. The hotel is located in the center of the town so it’s really easy to reach everything by walk. The terrace is the best part, the morning view from there is simply magical, watching the hot air balloons rise at sunrise felt like living in a dream. The breakfast was delicious and rich with local flavors, the rooms were spotless and beautifully unique, carved directly into the rock, giving an authentic full experience since you’re sleeping inside a fairy chimney! The staff was incredibly kind and always ready to help. I couldn’t have wished for a better place to enjoy this special destination. Highly recommended!”
Alessia M — Google review
Everything seemed okay. To be honest hotel have one of the best location in the city. Rooms are very cool and design is perfect. You get best view of baloons in the morning. Breakfast is very nice. Dont expect european much. Like no croissant etc but local and quality. While bell people were very friendly over all only problematic part in our stay was service. I guess hotel got everything but missing smile on people. Simply at the check in and check out. Also i should note that they give you 100 TRY each room voucher but they do their best not to utilize it. I found it a bit cheap and wrong marketing. I hope they can fix that moving forward.
FIRAT K — Google review
We stayed in Mithra Cave to hotel in Cappadocia. The location was great and very convenient for getting around. However, there were several disappointing aspects. First, the booking site mentioned that the room had air conditioning, but it only had a cold air fan — which was far from sufficient in the summer heat. Second, the bathtub had a drainage issue; the water easily overflowed and made the bathroom floor wet. Third, the staff didn’t proactively check or refill toiletries like shampoo or body wash. We had to call and ask for them ourselves, which was inconvenient. Overall, while the stay was okay and the location was excellent, these issues made the experience less comfortable. Please consider them carefully before booking

If you want to get a taste of what it is like to live in a cave in Cappadocia, this hotel fits the bill! Rooms are originally carved from white sandstone which the hotel supports with facing, electricity and running water. The beds are comfortable, the hot water is instantaneous and the restaurant on the roof serves decent food. People are friendly and there are maid services daily.
Gretatude G — Google review
Amazing hotel! Very clean and staff are super friendly. Special thanks to Milis at the front desk who welcomed us with a bright smile and kindness while we waited for our room to be ready. Highly recommend!!
Sheila M — Google review
The place has a beautiful view. I went up to get a drink. I ordered a coke and a virgin mojito. The first time they made it they added Bacardi RIGHT AFTER I told them no alcohol. When they remade it, they added a piece of lemon with dark brown rims, it was nasty, two mint leaves, ice and sprite. That’s it. The coke was about 150TL. When I got the bill I was charged for a full on alcoholic drink. I asked the server if it was cheaper for being non-alcoholic (like anywhere else) and she said no. Then they had the audacity to include tip. I was charged 150TL for a coke, and 550TL for a stuck up sprite. I don’t even like sprite. I left the drink. All in all it was 737TL for 2 sodas. Definitely recommend for the views, not at all for drinks or advice. (Total was $18 USD for two sodas)

Artemis Cave Suites is a boutique hotel located in the heart of Goreme, offering warm and comfortable rooms with modern amenities such as free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, and kettles. The hotel provides an enchanting fusion of history and comfort, with each room carved from natural rock. Guests can enjoy breathtaking views of the valleys and sunsets from the four terraces on the property. Although there's no pool, plenty of outdoor seating is available for relaxation.
An exceptional hotel that left a lasting impression. Its central location—right beside the hilltop viewpoint—makes it ideal for exploring the town. Built terrace by terrace like a modern-day Hanging Gardens of Babylon, every level offers breathtaking views. The restaurant is excellent, with the added charm of outdoor seating. The architecture strikes a perfect balance between elegance and functionality. I genuinely fell in love with the space. The upper terrace is a dream—watching the sunset with a cocktail in hand is unforgettable. Rooms are tastefully designed with solid stone walls that provide not just warmth and comfort, but a sense of security and peace. Despite a heavy storm outside, I felt nothing inside. My room, perched on the top floor of a two-story structure, was among the coziest and most charming I've ever stayed in. Staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Even the basic rooms are well-appointed and inviting. I had a fantastic experience overall and will definitely return.

Came here for our honeymoon and loved it. Hotel staff can help to arrange transport for 10 euro per person to the hotel from the airport directly. They are very helpful. They have a beautiful resteraunt where they have live music from 6pm to 9pm which provides a beautiful view of Goreme at night. In the morning, they have quite a few picturesque spots where u can have breakfast and take photos with the backdrop of all the hot air balloons rising. Beautiful. They also have a spa right at the hotel where they provide a 20% discount if u pay in cash. Easily the most affordable package around there. After discount should be around 50 euro for a 1 hour package including a Turkish bath. What an experience. Totally should try. Would recommend. The staff even help me park my car if u have difficulties finding parking spots around.

Five stars is simply not enough. This is the best hotel in Cappadocia. Our room was spacious and clean. We could walk out of our room and immediately see the hot air balloons overhead. The spa was 10/10, excellent service. The food and drinks at the hotel were also excellent, especially the breakfast. And most of all, the service was outstanding. Rose went above and beyond to help us plan our activities, even walking us to the restaurant we booked for dinner. She truly was a fantastic host and made sure we had a great stay.
Mattie K — Google review
I left the Artemis hotel a week ago and I am still thinking of how wonderful of a time we had there. Beyond anything else, the service and hospitality was a 10/10. Rose and Michel were so wonderful helping us with our accommodations and recommendations. It was truly a pleasure meeting them both; they were an integral part of what made our stay in Cappadocia a dream! The location of the hotel is right below the highest point of Goreme so the views are insane and there is a restaurant/bar that has live music every night during sunset. We went every night of our stay and the musicians were incredible! Extremely talented! The combination of the music and sunset over the entire town was a scene from a movie. The rooms were spacious, huge actually, there was a massive tub and shower in our huge bathroom; though we didn't stay in our rooms much since there are so many activities to partake in Cappadocia. Overall, I have no notes only praises to be given for my stay at the Artemis hotel.

Such a beautiful hotel!! We loved staying here. Our room was very clean and had all the amenities we needed.the staff were accommodating and made us feel comfortable. Rose in reception was very pleasant and kind. She went out of her way to keep our company till our ride to the airport arrived. She is sweet, knowledgeable, professional and helpful. We will come here again for sure next time we’re in Cappadocia!
Paris K — Google review
A beautiful hotel in a great location. From the moment we arrived we felt this would be a special experience. Rose warmly welcomed us and provided great information of Goreme and its surroundings. The hotel rooms are lovely and spacious giving you the real cave feeling. Sitting just below Sunset point the hotel has excellent an Teras, bar and viewing areas. We highly recommended this hotel.
Oliver H — Google review
We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location is perfect – close to the center yet peaceful, with beautiful views over Göreme and the surrounding valleys. The cave-style rooms are clean, spacious, and very comfortable, combining authentic charm with modern comfort. However, they are poorly soundproofed (see my comment at the end). The staff were extremely friendly, spoke good English, and were always ready to help with tours (especially balloon tours), transfers, or local tips. Complimentary water was provided every day, and the rooftop restaurant is excellent – great food, stunning views, and a lovely atmosphere. While there’s no room service, it’s easy to pick up your meal and enjoy it on your terrace or in your room. Breakfast was delicious and varied, though space can get a bit tight between 8 and 9 in the morning, so one morning we sat outside instead. The entire place is very well maintained and feels thoughtfully designed. It can get very lively until about 10 to 10:30 in the evening due to music and external guests in the restaurant, which feels a bit inconsistent with the adults-only concept of the hotel.
Alexander — Google review
Our stay at Artemis Suites was a wonderful experience. All the staff were incredibly kind and patient, assisting us with every aspect of our visit. A special mention goes to Rose at the front desk—she went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. She recommended the perfect tours based on our timeline and supported us from the moment we checked in until she personally send off at the door. Professional and sweet. Highly recommended!

Bed & breakfast
Cappadocia Elite Stone House is a charming bed and breakfast located just a short drive from Museu a Ceu Aberto de Goreme. The property offers 14 rooms with courtyard views and amenities such as a lift and snack vending machine. Guests have praised the spacious, clean rooms, helpful staff, and the lovely terrace with panoramic views of hot air balloons during sunrise. While some suggest that the breakfast could offer more variety, many appreciate its proximity to the main market area and restaurants.
Amazing hotel, great location with stunning views. The room was brilliant, spacious and clean. The staff went above and beyond to help us and make us feel welcome. Beyram was super friendly and helpful, sorting out our trips which were just fantastic and good value. The breakfast is next level, we can't thank Esra and Merve enough for all the incredible preparation they must have done to create such wonderful food for us and such friendly service.

Anyone visiting Cappadocia, please come to the Elite Stone House Hotel! A very nice gentleman named Bayram gave us an amazing deal on the Red tour for Cappadocia. After we came back he surprised my little sister with a Chocolate and strawberry cake. The hotel atmosphere is amazing with so many restaurants and shops nearby. The view is so beautiful as we can see hot air balloons, mountains, and fine buildings from the hotel view. The beds are comfy, the breakfast tastes amazing and overall is such an amazing place to stay. I highly suggest this hotel for big families!

It was a great n smooth experience for the 3 nights we stayed there. Staff are super good and so is their breakfast menu. Lot of options to choose from making it a hassle free for family with kids too. Rooms were quite n less disturbance and great views of balloons from the terrace
Aliya S — Google review
Fantastic hotel, spacious, clean, comfortable rooms, great views Very welcoming, helpful staff especially Beyrum. They will sort out any trip, transfer or tour for you at very good prices. The breakfast is amazing, super freshly prepared by Esra and Merve. The man on reception even sorted us out a sandwich and drink to take to the airport on our last morning as it was so early. I would highly recommend!
Charlotte W — Google review
This hotel has best staff, they make you feel like home and help you with every possible thing. Offers amazing views, You can see hundreds of Balloons flying from the hotel terrace. Breakfast is best with great variety. Location is great, as this is closely located to the centre and unlike most cave hotels being located on hilly road, this one is on normal flat ground, which eases carrying luggage or going anywhere.
Kavya G — Google review
Overall, the hotel exceeded my expectations. I did proper research and found that in this area, the best hotel in terms of price / perceived quality ratio is the best. Based on reviews and pictures and location. I was a bit worried that it was far from the main attractions and air baloons, but it turns out it is in the rught place. I attached a picture from the roof terrace. Balloons are flying very close by. The receptionist gave us upgraded room for no extra charge. The room is clean, warm, and has no smell. The room is also spacious and made of stone and wood on the ceiling. The love valley and other attractions and good restaurants are very close. I need to mention their breakfast and put some pics. The breakfast prepared by Merve and Esre is super delicious. I particularly liked cheese samosas made by Esre. Unfortunately, I noticed that in Turkey, in general, women also smoke as heavy as men. This is very sad as such nice cooks, especially wearing hijab should be saved from such harmful addiction. The ladies cleaning the property turns out to be Nazife and Hilal, and their are doing their job well. When I am again in Cappadocia, I will definitely InshaAllah stay again in this hotel. Highly recommend.
Sam T — Google review
The hotel has a rustic and very retro-ish vibe. Amenity rich and spotless rooms. The staff are really very accommodative. The breakfast had a lot of options, even for us vegetarians. The hotel is a 5 min walk from Goreme center with all tour pickups plying to the hotel as a pickup spot, and you can witness hot air balloons flying over your head at 5 in the morning from the hotel's terrace. The hoteliers arrange for tours and experiences upon request at reasonable prices. Overall a terrific experience, would HIGHLY recommend!

His attention to detail and generous spirit really made our stay special. The rooms are absolutely stunning – clean, beautifully designed, and filled with charm. Had a great time in Kapadokya while staying here. Staff are so attentive and nice -special thanks to Oğuzhan for being so helpful and sweet to us the entire time. Great location, delicious breakfast, and good price overall. Some rooms are a little small and have no windows so just be aware when booking if this could be an issue. Overall, would definitely recommend.

100000% recommend this hotel. We called so many hotels at the airport to pick us up and the only place who did so was this hotel. They greeted us with exceptional hospitality and made our stay very pleasant and special. The staff was truly so helpful and gave us the best prices and gave us so many helpful tips and were helpful with booking our activities. Not only is the staff exceptionally helpful and kind but the hotel it self is unreal. From the cleanliness of the rooms to the unbelievable beautiful cave rooms that feel so cozy and romantic. Also if you are looking for a place to have breakfast or take pictures is also amazing as they the best rooftop we have been too with amazing authentic decor and incredible view looking over the village, mountains and you can watch the sunrise of the balloons. Cappa cave hotel truly thank you so much for everything and making our trip so special. Teșekurlar!

Great hotel on the quieter side of the main road, but 100m walk into the action. Also great view back into the hillside looking at all the mountains, caves and other hotels rather than looking over all the roofs. Nice pool to cool down in and sun lounges with umbrellas . Breakfast included on the top deck was really nice and a good view as mentioned.

Nice hotel — right at the center of the town, very friendly front desk staff, and always willing to help with guests with their additional needs. We need a label print out, even though they don’t have printer in the hotel, the manager helped to have it done with others help. We really appreciate their kindness.

Goreme Mansion, situated in Goreme, boasts a distinctive stone-built structure and offers cave rooms equipped with modern amenities. The traditionally decorated rooms provide a cozy atmosphere for guests. The hotel's top-notch service and warm hospitality create a welcoming environment. Guests can enjoy daily open buffet breakfast and afternoon tea at the beautiful setting of the hotel. Additionally, the helpful staff goes above and beyond to assist guests with activities such as hot air balloon rides and ATV tours, ensuring an unforgettable experience.
The hotel was small & cute, and the staff was awesome. I liked that it was close to the viewpoint and you could walk to the city center. (I didn't mind walking up and down the hill to get some exercise.) Mr. Erdem helped us set up all our airport transfers, day tours, and even got us a good deal on a hot air balloon ride, and we didn't have to pay anything in advance. Cheers to him and the other staff members who were also super nice and welcoming. Our room was spacious and in good condition, with a few minor signs of aging. While the absence of an elevator may be inconvenient, the staff kindly help us with our luggage. The breakfast wasn't a buffet, but it was sooo lovely and filling. The rooftop had a great view, but they didn't have the carpets and cushions set up like in the pictures because it had been raining. Overall, we had a really great time and were really happy with our stay.
R K — Google review
Overall we have a nice experience mainly because of the owner who was so close and friendly, we love him! He help us a lot. Disclaimer: If you don’t stay in the first floor where they have a lobby terrace outside the rooms where people smoke and have loud conversations while waiting for their flight late night or early in the morning you will be ok. The owner was super nice once we talk with him at least there was no more smoking. Besides that, we have a beautiful and magical stay, they provide you a spectacular rooftop terrace and breakfast. Location is great, wherever in goreme is great. But it is really important to have a good rest because you will be waking up at 3am in the morning for the balloons and you are gonna need some rest.

This was the most satisfying accommodation during my trip~ From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with warm smiles. In particular, the young gentleman was always cheerful and went out of his way to help us with anything we needed, which truly touched us. The room was clean and comfortable, with fresh bedding and a spotless bathroom. The location was excellent — viewpoint and tour pick up drop point, bus station were within walking distance, and there were plenty of restaurants and stores nearby. Check-in and check-out were smooth and really friendly, making our stay stress-free from start to finish. If we ever come back to this area, we will choose this place without hesitation. Wishing all the staff good health and happiness. Highly recommended for everyone!

This place was amazing!! Algan is such a great guy, he made our stay truly special. Anytime we needed anything he was on top of it! He even helped book an event we really wanted to do with about 10 minutes of prep since our other guide canceled last minute. The rooms were cozy and spotless, great breakfast, good views. I couldn't have asked for a better stay

Wonder of Cappadocia is a charming accommodation located in Goreme, just a short distance from Uchisar Castle. The property offers a range of amenities including a garden, shared lounge, and 24-hour front desk. Guests can enjoy the convenience of free private parking and access to a terrace. The rooms are spacious and luxurious, with some featuring balconies offering stunning views of hot air balloons in the morning.
It’s a really nice hotel in a quiet but central area of Goreme! The breakfast spread is fabulous and everyone has been so kind and nice. They have a great rooftop for viewing of the hot air balloons early in the morning and for the town view at night. The rooms are very comfortable and beautifully decorated. It was a fabulous stay.
Jonna P — Google review
We can confidently say this was the best accommodation you can have in Cappadocia. The location, the view, the staff, and the serviceseverything was absolutely outstanding. Thank you for everything.
Andreea B — Google review
Wonder of Cappadocia is the place to be if you're looking for harmony and genuine warmth. Far from unnecessary luxuries, this is not just accommodation, it's a home away from home. Wonder of Cappadocia offers a welcoming, family-like atmosphere where every detail is designed to make you feel at ease. The homemade breakfast is a highlight: generous, fresh, and lovingly prepared with local ingredients. It's the perfect way to start the day. The location is ideal, close enough to the lively streets of Göreme to explore on foot, but just far enough to enjoy peace and quiet when it’s time to rest. One of the real gems of this place is the 24-hour rooftop terrace. Whether you're up early to watch the magical sunrise filled with hot air balloons, or winding down at sunset, the views are breathtaking. At night, the lights of the town add a special charm, making the rooftop a must at any hour. The rooms are clean, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated, with just what you need to relax after a day of adventures. But what truly sets this place apart is the hospitality warm, attentive, and always with a smile. If you're visiting Cappadocia and value authenticity over extravagance, Wonder of Cappadocia is a place you’ll remember long after your trip ends.

Absolutely incredible stay at the Wonder of Cappadocia Hotel. The room and hotel are beautifully decorated, blending modern comfort with authentic Cappadocian charm. The rooftop is truly breathtaking, and the perfect spot to watch the hot air balloons rise over the valleys at sunrise. It felt like a once-in-a-lifetime experience every single morning. The staff went above and beyond for us throughout our stay, providing 10/10 service and making us feel completely cared for and welcomed. Breakfast each morning was delicious, with a wide variety of fresh, high-quality options to start the day right. We can’t recommend this hotel highly enough.

Staying at this hotel is most likely one of the best experiences I have had. The people working there are just phenomenal and so kind. You just feel at home being hosted by your family. And meeting Bella was one of the highlight of my trip as well. It has been my dream to go to Cappadocia and wake up to the view of ballongs flying up there in the sky. That place is excellent. I felt so sad leaving there but I am definitely coming back soon <3 For anyone looking for a cozy, cute peaceful and just feel like home place you should definitely stay here.

My wife and I stayed in this wonderful hotel right in the heart of Goreme! Amazing location, our own private balcony/terrace, access to roof top for viewing the great balloon launch. We were fortunate enough to have our chance to get on the Kapadokya Balloon Company Balloon and take flight. We had breakfast included by the chef & his wife with a traditional kahvalti breakfast every morning. We walked to and from town all day and night long, we had a blast and the staff was real friendly and gave us whenever we needed! The terrace at this hotel is to die for!
Automotive C — Google review
Stayed 2 nights in this family hotel. Lovely hosts and good service. Location is great, in the center of Goreme surrounded by restaurant, bars, shops, etc. The place is extremely quiet, which makes it enjoyable. The only negative points will be: 1) the humidity smell in the room but wasn’t that big problem. 2) breakfast could be more diverse (more proteins options for example). However, I still recommend this hotel. I enjoyed my stay. Thank you!

Probably the best experience we had in a hotel in Turkey. Bugra was amazing, and took such amazing care of us. And his dog, Bella is absolutely beautiful. The rooms are comfortable, spacious and the beds are to die for. 10/10 recommend!

Sultan Cave Suites is a charming hotel located in Goreme, offering medieval stone suites within cave dwellings. The hotel is known for its picturesque terrace dining area and complimentary breakfast, which has made it a popular spot for Instagram influencers and couples seeking the perfect backdrop for their photos. Situated on Aydinli Hill, the hotel provides stunning panoramic views of the surrounding valleys, mountains, and the Cappadocia sky filled with hot-air balloons.
From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming and attentive, ensuring every detail of our experience was flawless. The rooms were impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and offered a cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home. One of the standout highlights was the breakfast! The selection was incredible—freshly baked pastries, a variety of fruits, delicious local specialties, and perfectly brewed coffee to start the day right. Every bite was a treat, and the quality was exceptional. Sibel was very attentive, welcomed us every day and even remembered our orders. The location of the hotel was perfect, making it easy to explore the area, and the amenities truly elevated my stay. I can't recommend Sultan Cave Suite enough for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable experience. I'll definitely be returning!
Tony E — Google review
Sultan Cave Suites was definitely the more expensive option, but it was totally worth it. The view was magnificent. Waking up at dawn to see balloons floating all around was magical. The hotel is located at the top of a hill overlooking town. The rooms were beautiful and luxurious. They came with a plate of snacks and a bottle of wine. The bar has an outstanding view of the valley. When you get drinks before dinner, it was hard to avoid snapping picture after picture. But the very best part this hotel was Selen the magnificent restaurant. They have a wonderful buffet style breakfast filled with local produce and products, many of which I hadn’t seen before. The dinner was the best meal we had in Cappadocia. In particular, the hummus and the mezzes were incredible, again with a lot of unique regional dishes I hadn’t seen before. For dessert we had a tahini soufflé. It was amazing. I are very glad we sprung for our stay at the Sultan Cave Suites.

Amazing views from this Cave Hotel! The restaurant sits high above the town, giving a beautiful panoramic view. There’s also a bar-style restaurant where you can wait if the main one is busy. Rooms are a bit smaller for the price range, but very solid and well-designed — from the sturdy sofa to the bathroom design. I especially loved the small balcony, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the scenery. Highly recommend!
Sunday L — Google review
Great hotel! Definitely a bit pricy but the views of the balloons at dawn were amazing. Breakfast spread was great too and they make you fresh egg dishes at your request. We were helped by Sibal at breakfast multiple times and she was very friendly, calm, courteous, attentive, and remembered our entire order of 6 items. (she didn’t ask us to mention her name or for a review, we voluntarily asked for her name to write this review!).

We stayed at Sultan Caves Hotel and overall had a mixed experience. First, the positives: the staff here are unbelievably kind and helpful, and they arranged a very convenient shuttle to and from Kayseri Airport. The rooftop views are absolutely stunning…truly one of the best in Cappadocia, and the breakfast buffet was delicious. We stayed in a Junior Suite, and the heated bathroom floors were a great touch during the chilly October evenings. Where the experience fell short for us was the room comfort. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and felt more like sleeping on a firm sofa than a proper hotel bed. Additionally, the rooms are not sound-proof at all. We could hear everything (from outside noise to our neighbors) which made it tough to fully relax and get a good night’s sleep. Sultan Caves has so much charm and great staff, but for the price, we expected more comfort and better room insulation.
Sam B — Google review
An unforgettable stay at Sultan Cave Suites – truly iconic Cappadocia experience! Our stay at Sultan Cave Suites was absolutely perfect. The hotel is beautifully designed, carved into the rock with cozy, authentic rooms and breathtaking views over Göreme. Watching the hot air balloons rise at sunrise right from the terrace was simply magical — it’s every bit as amazing as the photos you see online! The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay, always smiling and making sure everything was perfect. Breakfast was delicious, generous, and beautifully served with a panoramic view. The location is ideal — just a few minutes’ walk from the center of Göreme, yet perfectly quiet and peaceful at night. If you’re coming to Cappadocia, this is the place to stay for the full experience. Everything exceeded our expectations. 🟡 Only note: bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper — that’s the only small downside.

We stayed at the Sultan Cave Suites for 4 days and the staff and entire team have been nothing short of exemplary. They have all been so attentive at all times. I want to say a particular thank you to Sibel, she is a breath of fresh air and so delightful to talk to. Her customer service is excellent and so professional. We stayed in a junior cave room suite which was a fantastic experience, the rooms are so clean and beds are seriously comfy. Food and drink here was exceptional and all comes wrapped up with a view that is once in a lifetime. Thank for everything Sultan Cave Suites, you have created a memory that me and my wife will truly never forget. Love to all the team.

Sultan Cave Suites is the kind of place you stay at once and rave out forever. The property is stunning and peaceful. The breakfast, lunch, and dinner are traditional but still have something for everyone, and were some of the best food we had on our trip. The kind staff helped us book airport transfers and tours seamlessly. They made our experience. We stayed in the fairy chimney suite, which I cannot recommend more! The experience was one of a kind. After a long day of exploring the underground city, staying in a fairy chimney and being incredibly comfortable is the perfect experience.

Aren Cave Hotel And Art Gallery is a charming family-run boutique hotel located just a few minutes from the Roman Castles. The hotel offers individually decorated cave rooms with old motifs, complimentary breakfast, Wi-Fi, and parking. Guests can enjoy fantastic terrace views of the city and a garden filled with beautiful flowers. The hotel's central location provides easy access to Goreme bazaar, restaurants, and mini-marts.
We had the most incredible stay at Aren Cave Hotel. My wife and kids really loved everything about it. It is perfectly situated in Gorem, beautiful curated art throughout the hotel, and what really stood out to us is the thoughtful service and wonderful hospitality from the team - Furqan, Eron and everyone else. We were traveling with our 3 year old and two older kids, and they went out of their way to make our stay easy and fun. They helped us with all the bookings and activities (which worked out for all age groups), and were so kind and sweet to our kids. The last morning of our stay, we had to leave to the hotel early and the prepared breakfast earlier for us to be able to eat before leaving and it was beautiful breakfast, as is usual for them. Highly highly recommend them!

We had an amazing stay! The cave-style apartment was beautiful and really let us feel the unique atmosphere of Cappadocia. The breakfast was delicious, the staff were very kind and helpful, and everything was perfectly clean. The design of the room was tasteful and cozy. The location is right in the city center, yet it was quiet at night – the best of both worlds. Highly recommend!

Great location and loved that there was no smoking guests and staff at the time I was here! I enjoyed the food and the room but I do reserve 5 stars for over and above so please understand that we enjoyed our stay but might try another hotel if we returned given there’s over 400 in the area ! Good communication and polite. I’m always in search of exceptional which includes a connection and generous hospitality. I would have really appreciated not having meat on our plates for breakfast seeing that I mentioned we are vegetarian. That’s just attention to detail but it goes a long way. I loved the porcelain pieces are art gallery and would have loved to learn more but didn’t experience any enthusiasm or depth of personal stories. If you don’t care about all that stuff, you’ll like the hotel. It presents well.

Amazing family- run hotel with absolutely wonderful hospitality! Delicious breakfast, central location, and stunning views of the hot air balloons from the terrace. Our kids loved it, and we really appreciated their kindness and care! They made our stay so pleasant that we didn’t want to leave. They even donate leftover breakfast food to local animal charities! Highly recommend!

Great hotel! Staff is readily available for any questions and if assistance needed. Breakfast was delicious. **One thing to be aware of, this hotel does not have an observation spot to see the balloons from the hotel itself. There is an area to watch the balloons, walking distance nearby.

What a jewel of a hotel. The Aren is a family owned hotel and from the moment I booked, the service has been attentive, personable, and absolutely stellar. They helped me with booking a guide as well as all activities for the 3 days I was here, all their restaurant recommendations were fantastic, they arranged a Turkish Hammam experience for me last minute, and their airport transportation was timely. I booked 6 rooms here (we were a party of 12) and all the rooms were comfortable and beautiful. The bathrooms are spacious, the beds comfortable, and the rooms are dark and quiet. The hotel has a great location that is walking distance to the main street but at the end so it's quiet and safe. Breakfast each morning was delicious. A wide variety of food, fresh eggs, hot vegetables, a variety of breads, cheeses, and beverages. Not to mention the view is stunning. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and would stay here again. It was wonderful.

Excellent stay in a beautiful wee hotel in a fantastic location with wonderful staff - thank you Ozlem, Leyla & Abdullah! If you're in Cappadocia for the balloons, this hotel is perfectly located for everything.  It's bang in the centre of all the restaurants and life, has a terrace where you can watch the balloons in the morning and our room had a big jacuzzi tub and shower, too.  But the hotel staff really made our stay extra special.  Ozlem was super welcoming and smiley and helped us out with some Turkish pronunciations which we really appreciated!  The Turkish breakfast buffet had a little bit of everything and was very tasty but the main star of the show were the fresh cheese omelettes that Leyla made us each morning - they were genuinely perfect!  Abdullah too was very friendly, and nothing was too much trouble! I didn't meet the owner of the hotel although I spoke to him on the phone on arrival.  At first I was a little apprehensive as he seemed very keen that we book a tour through the hotel, but in the end we just sorted ourselves out (booking tours mostly through viator) and that was fine.  We booked our initial airport to hotel transfers through the hotel for €15 per person and it went all very smoothly. Our return transfers (Viator again) were half the price but equally, we have no complaints as everything was super smooth. Again, a massive thank you to Ozlem, Leyla and Abdullah for making our stay so memorable and enjoyable; we highly recommend it!

The hotel is very atmospheric and cosy, with authentic Middle Eastern decor and a beautiful terrace on the third floor. The beds and blankets are very comfortable and not rough. We are mid range budget travelers and are very happy to have found Old Town Stone House. With its traditional cave suites, perfect location close to restaurants, shops and cafes. Their breakfast spread served on the rooftop is impressive and delicious. We love the open seating deck area where you can watch the hot air balloons flying by - quite the view and photo opportunity! The owner and staff are amazing. We booked the hot air balloon ride through them and it was perfect. Thank you for amazing memories of Cappadocia ❤️

Mehmet was an amazing host. He accommodated all of our needs and went above and beyond. I highly recommend this place. It's centrally located. It's well priced. I slept very well. It has great air conditioning and is so comfortable. The breakfast was fabulous. The people I met were amazing.

Located just a few minutes walk from the city center, Old Town Stone House is a great place to stay at in Göreme. The owner, Mehmet, is very kind and helpful and accommodating. He's at the breakfast terrace every morning to greet, assist and chat with guests. Breakfast selection is great with cereals and breads and cheeses and salads and a whole lot more. Omelette is freshly made on demand. The room itself is clean and there's an outdoor viewing area on every floor. I watched the balloons every morning I stayed there. The staff are also all very kind and hospitable and even after I've already checked out, Mehmet and his team are still helping me with other things that I need. They also gave me a very cute magnet/bottle opener souvenir! Highly recommend staying at this place!

I had an amazing stay at Zeus Cave Suites. The staff were incredibly welcoming, helping us book an airport shuttle, a day tour, and offering great local tips. I felt very comfortable and at home, which is rare for hotels. The upstairs dining area had stunning views, with tea and coffee available throughout the day. Breakfast was very delicious and the lady preparing it was so kind! The terrace offered amazing views of the town and the hot air balloons. I would go back for sure!

We booked a room here, there was a discrepancy between what we booked and the room we got. The owner was very good to deal with, acknowledged the issue was with Agoda, offered us a refund, helped us find other hotel options, and was all round great to deal with. To top it off, he invited us to have lunch with himself and the staff. This was a great experience. Great service, the other rooms we saw looked good, so would absolutely recommend a visit if we had gotten the room we were after.

Stayed at Zeus Cave Suites with my family. Very impressed with the great hospitality from this family run hotel. I experienced a tire puncture and the staff brought me to a local tire shop and paid for the tire repair. I offered to pay them back but they declined. I left a tip for them. I recently stayed at caftan cave suites and had an absolutely amazing stay. The breakfast was top notch, service was impeccable and rooms were aesthetic and cozy. Im generally scared of dogs but the dog there Mia was so sweet and calm and it’s probably the first time i wasn’t afraid. The Mangers there are super helpful and friendly. If you’re looking for a good conversation or any help in general,Turgun the manager will always be there. Had dinner here twice during the three days we stayed in Goreme. Great views, excellent athmosphere, very good and attentive service and the best food in town we tried. The cucumber salad, the hummus and the chicken wrap more than good 👍🏻 And the most reasonable prices we have seen in Turkey, after a week in Istanbul and Cappadocia. It was so hard choosing a hotel since there were sooo many options, but I’m so glad we chose Caftan Caves for our unforgettable stay. We booked the honeymoon suite, which included a private balcony. The suite was spacious and clean, and the entire design of the hotel is so unique, I’ve never seen anything like it. They also have an excellent view of the hot air balloons in the morning, which made the experience even more magical. Their restaurant is beautifully lit at night and has views of the iconic scenery, making every meal feel special. They also have a wonderful hotel dog, she keeps to herself and she’s very quiet Hamza, Turgun, and the entire team made the stay truly memorable. The cave rooms were cozy and unique, offering an authentic Cappadocia stay. What truly stood out was the warm hospitality from the staff, they were so kind and accommodating throughout my visit. Turgun even helped us arrange both the shuttle and our hot air balloon trip. We were worried about missing our flight the next morning if we did the balloon tour, but he took care of everything, and since we were going to miss breakfast, he even arranged for sandwiches to take with us. A special thank you as well to Zeynep, who prepared the most amazing breakfast every morning. It was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. It was the perfect way to start each day while enjoying the incredible views. Highly recommend this hotel for both comfort and unforgettable service! Most people only come to Cappadocia once in a lifetime and only for few nights so it’s really important to choose the right hotel and we’re so glad that we did!

We had a wonderful stay at Caftan Cave Suites!! We arrived lately at night and the cute dog welcomed us with the cutest face, the staffs are very friendly and helpful, provided us many useful information regarding our visit in Capadocia. For the room it’s not that big but got everything you need, it’s clean and beautiful, especially love the historical decoration :)! The terrace is so beautiful, it’s a gem of the hotel, you can wake up early and see the sky full of hot air balloons and amazing sunrise! If you want the hotel can book hot air balloons service for you too! Also the breakfast has a wide variety of delicious food, really love it ! Oh the latte costs extra 200 lira, but it doesn’t influence me too much since I can drink other beverages like Turkish tea and coffee :) The location is quite nice, close to many restaurants, convenience stores and cute stores! I will totally recommend Caftan Cave Suites to everyone!

I've stayed here for 3 night at the end of September while exploring capadocchia. The room was clean, comfortable and the location was great - close to the center but a bit to the side so you could rest in silence. Breakfast was delicious and varied, you had a great view from the terrace. Despite all that, the star of the show was Kemal. He was super friendly and helped organize the tour on the red line, helped get a balloon flight with only one day notice and for a good price! Next to that he is genuinely a lovely human being, I really enjoyed talking with him. I'm a solo traveller and I felt like a guest at his house instead of just another tourist at a hotel - I cannot give higher praise than that, thank you, my friend! P. S. This isn't a payed review, he didn't even ask me for a review, I'm genuinely happy I've spent a few night here and met him.

Location is great. But the room condition is not good enough. The downstair room is timid and connect to only bad internet. Insulation also very bad. I can hear clearly someone talking in the corridor and reception at late night. Breakfast variety is good but cutlery not clean enough.

Naraca Cave House is a unique accommodation located in Goreme, offering a shared lounge and garden views. The property is conveniently situated near popular attractions such as Uchisar Castle and Zelve Open Air Museum. Guests can expect exceptional hospitality from the owner, Unal, who goes above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. The rooms are not your typical hotel accommodations; they are ancient caves transformed into modern living spaces with artistic touches.
What an amazing experience. Our host Unal went above and beyond to make our experience the most memorable. He booked our excursions for us from recommended local providers; all of which we enjoyed. Even made a last minute shuttle arrangement for us (airport to hotel) as our original flight was rescheduled. Every morning Naraca Cave House served a different selection of delicious home made traditional Turkish breakfast, brought to our table. Spectacular terrace views ❤️... Cave room was a very unique experience, it's definitely worth stay at a cave hotel. (Side note: we are visiting in February, expect rooms to be colder than usual hotel rooms)

We had a wonderful stay in Naraca cave house. Ünal was a really good host, we had nice talks and received a lot of information and recommendations for Capadocia. The cave house is amazing. We felt like home immediately, stayed in a beautiful and clean room and enjoyed the nice breakfasts in the morning. There are serveral places outside to relax in the sun, downstairs or at the rooftoop terrace. Absolutely recommended 😊 Dries & Eva

This is a beautiful hotel with a beautiful view, inside and out .The breakfast was delicious and fresh made, we loved it so much. However, in my book, the most beautiful thing was the care from host and his team. They went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. When I mentioned to the host that I forgot to bring a jacket, he immediately ran in and lent me his coat, we definitely feel the amazing hospitality . Thank you so much! ❤️

Host Unal is very nice and passionate, he will reply any questions via booking agency or what’s app. When you arrive, he will provide a map and introduce everything. The room is very clean and comfortable. We have a small yard in front of our room which is very beautiful and good to take a picture. The breakfast is also delicious and everyday the meal will be different!!

Absolutely a wonderful place to stay. Ünal made us feel welcome and catered to us as if we were long lost family coming home. The breakfast spread was massive, freshly prepared and delicious. I am sorry that I didn't take more photos of everything served. We will definitely be back.

I highly recommend Naraca Hotel! My wife and I had an amazing experience. Naraca is located close to the center of Göreme. Our room was a cave room, but it was very comfortable. The breakfast at Naraca is delicious. Moreover, the service is the highlight — the staff were extremely friendly and helped us a lot.

Unal the service and the breakfast were amazing. He gave very sage advice and the room we stayed in (under the main house) was really good value, clean and warm. It was a true cave hotel. He even called up a car rental company for us when our hot air balloon ride was cancelled and gave us a really good idea of what to see around goreme.
Raees R — Google review
Our experience at this cave hotel was nothing short of amazing! The owner, Unal, went above and beyond to make our stay truly special. From the moment we arrived, everyone was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. Everyone working at the hotel was super helpful and friendly, always ready to assist with anything we needed. The rooms were unique, beautifully designed, and spotlessly clean – staying in a real cave room was such a memorable experience. The breakfast each morning was freshly made and absolutely delicious, with plenty of variety. Unal was especially helpful in planning our entire stay in Cappadocia. He gave us great recommendations for things to do, helped us book a hot air balloon ride, and even arranged a personal driver for the Green Tour. We were celebrating a birthday during our trip, and he helped us with getting a birthday cake – and didn’t even charge us for it! After check-out, he also kindly drove us to the bus station. Unal’s kindness and hospitality made our trip unforgettable. We can’t thank him enough for everything he did. This is hands down the only best place to stay in Goreme – highly recommend!

Holiday Cave Hotel offers a unique experience by providing accommodation in converted traditional Cappadocian caves. The hotel features rustic rooms and suites with stone walls, combining an archaic setting with modern amenities. Guests can enjoy the outdoor pool with a hot tub, free WiFi, and complimentary private parking. The hotel's restaurant serves a tasty breakfast with various options. Its convenient location near the town center in Goreme allows easy access to great restaurants.
We stayed in march25 for 3 nights. The hotel is amazing. Can't imagine a real cave hotel and rooms like this. Just walking distance from city center. Rooms are spacious and attractive, bathroom are great, out side rooms gardens, pool, seating area lot of space and get stunning views and photos there. The owner lady, I forgot name, was pleasant. We had only breakfast from restaurants. Given our requirement of Indian Vegetarian and No egg, they gave plenty items to make new combinations. It was really good one. Would recommend to everyone

Nice hotel and the staff is really cooperative. location is also near by the market and really beautiful property. The rooms are beautifully built out of caves and modified as needed. Special mention to Akim who helped us with various bookings during our stay.

We stayed here in May 2025. A very charming place, eclecticly decorated. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Large bathroom with plenty hot water, good shower. Breakfast was sufficient, tasty and with good options. Staff was particularly kind, helpful and warm, making our stay special. Walking distance from town's restaurants. Highly recommend the "rooftop" lounge with a great view of the rock formations while enjoying a nice drink on the oversized pillows.

We stayed in this hotel for just two nights in our Cappadocia stay and the experience was great. The room feels so cool inside, its spacious specially the bathroom. The amenities were complete, and the breakfast was good. Its also a walking distance to downtown.

We stayed for four nights in the Holiday Cave Hotel and had a pleasant stay. Their deluxe room is spacious, and the bathroom is huge. The location is a walking distance to the city centre of Goreme, and the staff are helpful. Breakfast has many options, though starting it at 8:30 is unconventional in the hospitality business. The management may reconsider starting the time of the breakfast to alliance better with conventional practices. Overall, you will enjoy your stay here.

Honest and Pleasant Stay at Holiday Cave Hotel, Göreme We booked Holiday Cave Hotel last minute after our original hot air balloon ride was cancelled due to bad weather, and our previous hotel was already fully booked for the next night. Fortunately, we found a good deal here—it was budget-friendly for the amenities offered. The location is great—close to Göreme city center and with a beautiful view of the hot air balloons from the terrace in the morning. The terrace itself is lovely, with plenty of spots to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and breakfast was quite good. The overall ambience of the hotel is cozy and relaxing. That said, the room we stayed in was quite small and not an actual cave room—it was styled to look like one, but not carved into the rock like traditional cave accommodations. I’m not sure if the hotel has genuine cave rooms available, but ours wasn’t one. Also, the pool wasn’t functional during our stay, which was a slight disappointment. Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable stay, especially given the short notice. Would recommend for travelers on a budget who still want a nice atmosphere and good service in Göreme.

Great little hotel that's close to everything without being in the main noisy bit, 5 minute walk to all the restaurants and bars, few issues with room but not a major, also had the benefit of a small swimming pool which was great

I had an amazing stay with Family and I would highly recommend this place to everyone single or with family. The place nearby to all Viewpoints and it has everything you need to enjoy your stay. Breakfast was very good as well but they removed a food item once they realised that we were eating it a lot ???? The reception and service is very friendly and they change things for you if needed.

We are so happy we stumbled upon the wonderful bed and breakfast style hotel! First of all, it was immaculately clean and comfortable. With authentic cave style rooms, we felt right at home. The rooms have everything you need and a very comfortable bed. There is a lovely pool area, perfect after a day of activities. We truly adore the family who runs the property. They treated us with care and kindness helping with bookings and recommendations. My favorite part was the authentic home cooked breakfast with so many delicious options on a beautiful roof deck with stunning mountain views. Thank you so much for the stay HIGHLY RECOMEND!

I recently stayed here last week in room 105. It was a memorable experience staying in an authentic cave hotel. My room was spacious and beautifully decorated and well ventilated. The view of the valley & the Hot Air balloon from the hotel terrace was just breathtaking. My favourite spot was the swimming pool which was clean & well maintained.. kudos! to the housekeeping team and a special mention to Ms. Mehtap who prepared me awesome breakfast with Indian options making sure I was well fed every morning of my stay.

Tekkaya Cave Hotel was perfect! Super walkable to everything in Goreme which was a huge point for us. We were able to do two longer hikes with the beginnings being a short 15-20 minute walk from the hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful in booking a hot air balloon flight as well as other excursions for us with transport included which helped ease our experience a ton. Our departure flight left very early and they even packed us a breakfast sandwich to go since we'd miss the hotel breakfast that day. It was so thoughtful and appreciated and made us feel well taken care of. Would 100% stay again when we're back in Cappadocia!

👍 -Great hospitality, family owned hotel -rooms are clean and tidy, the hotel is quiet and located on a slope -excellent view from the terrace for balloon show -decent Turkish breakfast -close to Göreme city center, easy to walk -safe tourism certificate Take into account: -Pool is not heated, kids pool is small -Wifi might be slow -limited parking options -a few stray cats ( consider rabies vaccination beforehand, it's recommend in Türkiye anyways) -missed yogurt and sucuk at breakfast or I was too late. 🤔 Lactose free products would be nice. -would recommend more plants and decor lights in general to give it a cosier vibe ✨️ Overall, I highly recommend this place! 👍✨️

Lovely hotel with friendly staff just 5 mins walk from the main street. You can watch the hot-air balloons in the morning from the comfort of the rooftop terrace. The room was spotless. We even received a packed breakfast to take with us on our early morning airport transfer.

We stayed 3 nights at Tekkaya Cave Hotel and the stay was amazing, simple but very welcoming, you felt like you knew the employees from day one and they made you feel like home, each morning you claimed the stairs to their kitchen with an amazing view on the city and prepared an omelette for the day, if your flight is early morning, they prepare you a take out box to make sure you are well fed for your day. I will recommend this hotel to anyone who visits the area! Thank you for the experience

Peace Stone House is a charming bed and breakfast with cozy rooms featuring exposed stone walls and complimentary Wi-Fi. Guests can savor delicious meals at the rooftop eatery, and there's also a barbecue area and terrace for relaxation. The hotel offers free private parking and provides assistance in organizing activities such as Capadoccia trips. Visitors appreciate the spacious, well-appointed rooms, warm ambiance, and helpful staff.
A lovely place to stay in the heart of Cappadocia. I liked the location - a few minutes from the main road - in a quiet, calm neighborhood and better air quality. My room was very spacious, nicely decorated, and insulated. They serve delicious breakfast on the rooftop, where you can also watch the hot air balloons from if you wake up early enough. The staff members were exceptionally helpful, friendly and courteous. They arranged airport transportation (15 Euros each way) for me both ways and a day tour.
Zsuzsanna S — Google review
We stayed here for three nights, 8th - 11th May 2025. The location is great, 5 minutes to the centre, close to restaurants and markets, 17 minutes to the up close balloon-watching site (on top of the hill), but I'm sure you can even watch the balloons from the rooftop of the house. Just walking distance to a lot of places. The service is 100/100. The guy who keeps watch on the night shift was so nice to us, he knows English and even when speaking Turkish, he speaks soft. Very nice communication to the customers. We asked him a lot of questions throughout the city, about activites, helped us with WiFi, communicated with us through whatsapp for things we need and they arranged transfers for us both from the airport. coming and going back. (10 euros from Kayseri airport to the hotel) They can help arrange anything you want from the hot air balloon ride (180-270€ per person depends on the day and weather), ATV ride for 2.5 hours to valleys and sunset spots (40€ - two person can ride), horse riding, etc. The hotel provides breakfast from 8-10AM, the abla working is so nice, she helped me when I needed help, and they make omeletes for you if you ask, thank you for the service. Few things to consider before you stay here : The rooms are not soundproof, you hear water flowing from upstairs or next door, people talking in the corridor, room service cleaning after 9AM.. We wanted to rest on midday since we woke up early for the balloons but it was too loud from here and there. We stayed in the family room, it is at the semi-basement, the window is connected to the ground floor where the have seats to sit outside, so anytime around 2-5PM you would hear people talking and chatting. Unless you're planning to have your whole day outside and explore, you can take these into consideration. Last thing that needs highlight, just like the name, it is so peaceful at night, away from all the pubs and clubs or loud music out there and I love it. We had a good stay, thank you!

You should definitely choose to stay here for your trip to Göreme! The staff are so so so friendly and helpful, the breakfast is delicious, it is a short walk into town (but far enough that it’s not too noisy when trying to sleep). They have a beautiful rooftop, and it is a short walk from several fantastic lookouts to watch the balloons at sunrise! We stayed here for 3 nights & really enjoyed ourselves :) highly recommend!

This is a really nice hotel, definitely a peaceful place, although it isn't far from the hustle and bustle of Goreme. All the staff here were very welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable, kind and helpful. Our beds were very comfortable and we loved our room. It was very cool in there, which provided a much needed respite from the summer heat. The breakfast items were plentiful, delicious and fresh. The freshly made omelette on request was scrumptious and on the rooftop you could see the hot air balloons while eating breakfast. A really lovely place to stay. Thank you Peace Stone Hotel.

We stayed here for three nights. The staff was very clean and the environment was affordable. It is close to the city center and is about 6 minutes away. In addition, since there are buses only at night, the staff also allowed us to leave our luggage temporarily.

The environment is very nice, the room is very clean and warm. The location is very convenient, surrounded by supermarkets and restaurants. The view from the rooftop is great. The boss is particularly good, very warm-hearted, will take the initiative to help when confronted with problems, will also help to report tour groups and air balloons, the price is also very reasonable market prices. The boss's white cat is very cute, but can not touch . Good travel experience -

Our stay at Goreme Cave Rooms & Pool was extremely disappointing and stressful. Upon arrival, there was a mistake made by the hotel regarding the additional amount required to upgrade our room. Even after the manager admitted the error, my family (including three children) had to wait nearly an hour and a half to get the room. Shortly after settling in, the receptionist informed us that the manager no longer wanted us to stay and that we would have to leave the next day at 11 a.m. The receptionist confirmed this decision was not even related to the children — making the “noise” excuse in their later claims very questionable, especially since we had only been in the room for a few minutes. The manager’s attitude was rude and unprofessional, and the situation caused us significant stress. Booking.com customer service was contacted, but no concrete help was provided at the time, leaving us to manage the problem alone. We were refunded for the unused nights, but only after much hassle. This experience ruined our visit to Goreme and left us with a very negative impression. I do not recommend this property to families or travelers who expect professionalism, respect, and good hospitality.

I recommend this hotel for it's convenient location, very friendly English speaking personnel (especially Kamal the cook), it's facilities and breakfasts. Although there was a whining sound coming from the neighboring restaurant's AC, which I first feared to hear all night, it switched off by the late evening, and my sleep was a good one both nights.

Very good location. Walking distance to all cafes, restaurants, bus station and the travel agencies. Breakfast starts at 8:30 and it's been quite good. The best of the hotel, without doubt, is the terrace. Having breakfast there every morning has been my favourite moment. Our stay was phenomenal. Location was perfect, rooms and bathrooms were clean and functional and perfect for our family of 4, the breakfast was delicious, the view from the terrace was gorgeous, and most importantly, the service was INCREDIBLE and everyone was so hospitable. We were recommended a great view of the sunset that was 10 minutes walking. We were also given a map and recs for activities and restaurants, and travel tips (not everywhere is accessible via car). The hotel was also kind enough to set up any excursions. I cannot recommend this place enough. I hope I am lucky enough to come back.

If you want a worry-free stay in Göreme, simply book this cozy family-run hotel. The rooms are charming, especially the one with a bedroom carved into a cave. The wonderful host goes above and beyond to take care of everything—from securing a hot air balloon ride at a great discount (their family member is a pilot with 15 years of experience) to organizing excursions and transfers. Breakfast is served on a terrace with a stunning view of the city—it's also the perfect spot to watch the balloons if you're not up in one yourself.

We made a great choice, Goreme is full of hotels but this one we booked through booking.com for very reasonable price for its location, rooms ,service and breakfast. Our family room was huge and very comfortable for 3 night stay,a little bit of humidity smell in the lower level but during the night did not notice it at all while sleeping. Rooms cleaned every day, towels, shampoos, bed linen everting is being changed. Breakfast with great view on the upper floor, probably can have a little more of variety on a daily basis as it was almost same all three days but still good food. Totally recommended, kids are being treated very nicely

Absolutely an amazing hostel! They staff were all so kind and the breakfasts were amazing and filling. In such a good location with a great rooftop to sit in the sun. The pool is also a great touch! The staff were also such a life saver. Our bus didn't arrive one night and the staff let us stay even at 2am and we're so accommodating

I volunteered at Kose Pension for two weeks, and it was honestly the best volunteering experience I’ve ever had. From day one, I felt welcomed and valued. The two brothers who run the place are incredibly kind, respectful, and they truly care about creating a positive environment, not just for guests but also for staff and volunteers The atmosphere is super relaxed and social. Every day I met new people to explore the beautiful valleys around Göreme with, and in the evenings we’d chill on the terrace, play cards, or join the BBQ nights organized by the staff. It really felt like a little community The hostel itself is amazing: perfect location in the heart of town, the only one in Göreme with a pool, a delicious Turkish breakfast every morning, and a rooftop where you can watch the hot air balloons at sunrise Thanks again to the whole Kose team. I’m really grateful for the experience and hope to come back one day :)

Good experience, nice hostel but they must fix the bathrooms because there’s leak and the water gets out a lot. Also, the WiFi in the rooms doesn’t work well. I had to go to the living room for a better connection. Please fix those details! But the rest, really nice place.
Julio V — Google review
Friendly staff, convenient location, nice breakfast. They helped me arrange shuttle pickup from and to the airport, and arrange atv ride. I wasn't a fan of the room. There were a couple of ants in the bathroom, only a small shampoo vial, the bathroom sliding door detached from the hook so can't move it either way, and a hole in the mattress. I was so disappointed that I didn't even bother to take pictures besides the breakfast. First night it was noisy with loud music and people partying well into the night. It's a good place to come solo, group of friends, or couples (as long as you have your expectations in check), but definitely wouldn't recommend it as a family stay
Tarek K — Google review
Exceeded our expectations! It's really good for a hostel, it had all the amenities we needed, including breakfast, laundry (for a fee), iron, swimming pool, etc.. They also had events where everyone in the hostel could meet each other like Mojito Night, or Barbeque Night. Also, if you go to the rooftop in the early mornings, you might be lucky enough to see a hot air balloon literally pass by a few meters away from you. This hostel is also a 5-minute walk from the city center and is incredibly safe. But what really made it worth it for us is the owner and his brother. We had his number throughout our stay. If we wanted something, he was a 5-minute reply away. If we wanted a tour, or a hammam and spa, or to book anything else, he had quick recommendations. He would also set everything up himself, including transport to and from the hotel. Not only that, he was transparent with all the prices and would try to get us the cheapest. The only thing we wished for during our stay is that they had better Wi-Fi. Other people here have complained about AC and circulation, but honestly, the whole hostel is surrounded by trees, and most of it is shaded. The hallways inside are always cool, and if the sun hits your room, you have blackout curtains and big windows. Although perhaps, a fan should be available upon request.

Arinna Cappadocia is a unique cave hotel located in Goreme, offering stunning views of hot air balloons floating over the iconic landscapes of Cappadocia. The hotel's prime location allows easy access to popular landmarks such as the Open Air Museum, Sunset Point, and Roma Castle. Renovated with meticulous attention to detail, Arinna embraces traditional architecture using ancient stones from Cappadocia to preserve the original charm of its cave and stone rooms.
If you’re planning to visit Cappadocia, I really recommend staying at Arinna Cappadocia! The hotel is super cute and cozy, and the room was spotless. When we first arrived, the staff helped us park the car (parking was tight and we’re not the best drivers), and even carried our four big suitcases up to the room. We got there around 12:30 pm, way before normal check-in time, but luckily the room was ready and they let us check in early. Mustafa, one of the owners, was so nice and gave us great tips on what to do and see around Cappadocia—it really helped us plan our trip. The room felt warm and cozy, like a real cave experience. Breakfast was delicious too—classic Turkish breakfast with the option to order scrambled eggs or an omelet. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Göreme, with an amazing view. Overall, such a lovely place to stay!

Our stay at Arina Hotel was truly unforgettable. It’s a family-owned hotel, and the owners are some of the kindest people we’ve ever met. They go above and beyond, even out of their way, to help with anything you need. They offer complete packages for tours and activities, and we ended up booking most of ours directly through them. We even had a private tour with the owner himself as our guide, how cool is that! They speak great English, the food is delicious, and the ladies in the kitchen are so sweet. We honestly felt like kids being cared for by loving parents. The hospitality was exceptional, and we’re already planning to return next year with our in-laws. And the views wow! You don’t even need to leave the hotel. Hot air balloons fill the sky right in front of you. We had our own private balcony and did our photoshoots every morning with the most stunning backdrop. Even the dress rental staff told us, “You’re so lucky, this is the best view for balloons!”

comfortable as possible. The hotel is on the top of the hill of the town so it gives you an incredible viewpoint of the rock formations and city, but it’s close walking distance to everything. The room itself was as pictured- actually even better - and the heated floors and cozy touches were lovely. I highly recommend getting a room with a jacuzzi and a view. You can wake up early and take in the incredible view of the balloons over the city. There is a beautiful rooftop terrace which offers another magical vantage point to take pictures of the balloons and the landscape, and is where breakfast is served daily. The breakfast is free (which I didn’t realize when booking) and is a good light option to start your day. I believe breakfast is from 7:30-10:30 but not sure. Lastly, we had a hard time deciding which activity (other than the balloon ride) to do and Ramazan arranged to drive us to the underground city at Kaymakli. He encouraged us not to miss out on this site and was absolutely right.Ramazan, once again, accommodated us with very short notice and made our trip extra special!

Beautiful views and a very lovely room with a view. We watched the balloons from our room and from the hotel terrace. Great breakfast, free parking. Friendly and helpful owner and staff.

We enjoyed our stay in Arinna Cappadocia. Ramazan was very helpful, everything started off right after our reservation with them. Ramazan and his team helped us with booking with certain tours that we are interested in, one month before our arrival. Especially, the hot air ballon ride. Would encourage to book earlier as price increases when nearing to date. What makes it easy is their strong English command to communicate with and making our stay a wonderful one. We’ve booked room 204 with the private balcony. Room itself was cozy and clean. Their terrace was nice and has an impressive view. Sunrise with a hot air ballon view gave a plus point towards Arinna Cappadocia. Will like to thank team Arinna for great hospitality throughout our stay here.

The staff is so helpful & friendly and we booked a private tour with Ramazan to the fascinating underground city and he is very knowledgeable and informative. Our family love it so much and highly recommend it. The hotel is great location to watch hot air balloon from our room and breakfast area. There are many pieces of ceramic art are so beautiful and intricate designs that anyone can purchase for souvenirs from the hotel as well. Definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family

Our stay at Arinna was amazing! Beautiful view of the balloons in the morning and a higher view of cappadocia from the balconies! Mustafa made our stay very pleasant and helped us arrange tours and gave us great advice for food in the area! Sheda and Filis cook up delicious breakfast spreads every morning and are so nice and sweet! We would absolutely recommend staying here!

The positives, are that the views are great and that the room seemed very nice initially. That being said, I had a very negative experience. There were cats in the ceiling of the room that made a ton of noise and made it difficult to sleep. We stayed for 3 nights and I brought it to the attention of the front desk after the first night. His response was, “there must be a pigeon in the ceiling, it should be fine”. After the second night I brought it up again, they said they would check it out. I didn’t hear back so I asked again in the evening and they said, they found cats but thought they left. After I pressed the matter they offered to move our rooms. I had to tell them three times before they offered any solution and how inconvenient for the last night. Their customer service is also very poor. While I was paying, I had a question about one of the charges. Ahmed, at the front desk called one of the owners. While on the phone, speaking Turkish, Ahmed was talking bad about me. Obviously he didn’t know that I knew what he was saying. I’ll never stay here again and I would recommend you don’t either.

Bed & breakfast
Sarnich Cave Suites, located in Goreme, offers a unique stay with its historical buildings that were once integral parts of the community. The hotel features a patio with inner courtyard views, a garden, and a shared lounge. Guests can enjoy an in-house restaurant and amenities such as free private parking and WiFi. The 24-hour front desk ensures convenience for guests. The spacious and clean rooms provide comfort beyond expectations.
Our stay was incredible. The cave room itself was absolutely stunning —tastefully decorated with high-quality furniture and stunning mosaic details outside. The bed was supremely comfortable and the pillows were top-notch. The bathtub and the underground spa added a magical touch of indulgence to the experience. The food was exceptional, featuring delicious homemade items like traditional gozleme and creamy local honey. Breakfast was a true highlight—being welcomed so warmly and served like royalty. Owner Mustafa personally greeted guests and chatted with everyone, creating a warm, bed-and-breakfast atmosphere. It was a beautiful glimpse into authentic Turkish hospitality and culture. I couldn’t find any breakfast experience like this in Istanbul. The location couldn’t have been better—just a short walk from the town, yet perfectly quiet and close to the most spectacular hiking trails. Waking up with hot air balloons floating above us and watching them from the terrace was surreal. Though I didn’t get to take a balloon ride myself, simply witnessing that breathtaking view each morning made my Cappadocia trip unforgettable. Sarnich Cave Suites turned what was already a dream destination into one of the fondest and most memorable experiences of my life. I can’t recommend this place enough. A heartfelt thank you to all staff but special one to Yusuf, who quite literally saved me from a rookie tourist mistake—arriving without cash for the shuttle driver. He graciously lent me money without hesitation. That gesture alone speaks volumes about the genuine hospitality at this hotel.

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The breakfast was exquisite especially the milk butter and honey spread they provided every morning. Fresh eggs made for us every day and the owner Mustafa was friendly and helpful. He shared his personal experiences with the hotel and the history. All the staff were so nice and helpful and made us feel like home. Would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants the best stay in Cappadocia.

Our experience at Sarnich Cave Suites was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and made to feel right at home. The rooms are beautifully designed, blending the charm of traditional cave dwellings with modern comforts. Every detail has been thoughtfully curated, and the cozy ambiance made our stay incredibly special. Waking up in such a unique and serene setting was a dream come true. The breakfast was another highlight – a delightful spread of fresh fruits, cheeses, pastries, and local specialties served with a breathtaking view of the Cappadocian landscape. It was the perfect start to each day and a wonderful way to sample the region’s culinary delights. A heartfelt thank you to the kind staff for the lovely gesture of the box of Turkish delight – such a thoughtful and sweet surprise that added an extra touch of hospitality to our visit. We highly recommend Sarnich Cave Suites to anyone visiting Cappadocia – a perfect blend of comfort, culture, and care. We look forward to returning one day!

The location to the center of town is excellent. It is a small boutique hotel and the owner and family really try to give their guests a great experience. Breakfast is good with a lot of variety. The only complaint is the WiFi. Every time you leave the room, you have to log back into the WiFi. It is strong enough WiFi, but logging in all the time is a tiny annoyance. Other than that, you will be happy here.

A Magical Stay at Sarnich Cave Hotel! We had a truly wonderful experience at Sarnich Cave Hotel in Göreme. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, carved into the rock with charm and authenticity. Our room was cozy and unique, perfectly blending comfort with the cave atmosphere. The breakfast was one of the highlights: varied, delicious, with something for every taste. The staff is young, friendly, and incredibly helpful. A special thank you to Mustafa, who made our stay even more special. It was a real pleasure getting to know him and chatting about the fascinating history of the region and his family, who have deep roots in this magical place. Mustafa also went above and beyond to help us reorganize our plans after our hot air balloon flight was canceled due to bad weather. He quickly arranged a new booking, as well as our transfers, everything was smooth and stress-free thanks to him. Trust him, you won’t regret it. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Highly recommended! Grazie dall’Italia✨

First a big thank to Yusuf who made our stay a real treat. He knows very well the region and helped us for hiking. All the staff was really nice. Very good breakfast with homemade Turkish bread, pastries and a cream-butter called kaymak. The room was big and comfortable.

We really enjoyed staying in this hôtel. Big and well equipped room, comfortable beds, nice stuff, great geographical situation. Very good continental breakfast. We particularly enjoyed homemade Turkish bread with cream-butter kaymak and local honey. Yusuf was great, really helpful! As he knows perfectly the region, he helped us to organize our hiking in Rose Valley. So we could do it on our own. Beautiful terrace to see the sunset Highly recommend!

A wonderful place to stay. The owner manager was very friendly and helpful. This is a small boutique hotel that the owner manager takes pride in managing well. Our room was very well laid out, clean, spacious, and had a good cave feel. Nice patio area outside front door. The bathroom was also very spacious, even for North American standards. The rooftop eating area was also very scenic with views of the town. You had the option of eating inside or taking it outside to the patio. The rooftop also allowed us to see all the hot air balloons in the morning, we counted over 80. Went back to bed for an hour then went to get breakfast. Breakfast spread was very tasty with a lot of variety. All the items were there to make your own "Traditional Turkish Breakfast" (Simit, bread, pancakes, potato wedges, spreads, honey, jams, fruits, sausages, eggs made to order, egg plant and other vegetables, olives, beverages etc..). Location was very convenient as well - far away enought from the noise but close enough to walk to the centre of town ( 5 to 10 minutes) and to the main look out point. As we checked out, the manager gave us a gift of turkish delights. I would stay there again , and recommend it to others.

One of the best experiences of my life, without a doubt. Susan was amazing, and her massage was absolutely perfect. I would recommend this place a hundred times over. I never thought a bath after a massage would be such a great combination, but it truly is the best! I will definitely be coming back again. Susan was lovely, and I can’t wait for my next visit!

I got the hammam package 2 experience with my mom, sister, and brother. We had the entire spa to ourselves and the private experience was INCREDIBLE! All four of the ladies were skilled, kind, and made us feel so comfortable for our first time at a hammam. The facilities were clean and cozy too. Emre took great care of us and the pricing was extremely fair and reasonable compared to other spas in the area that had questionable reviews. We will absolutely come back next time we’re in town and recommend to anyone visiting!!!

If you are coming to Turkey and don’t get a Turkish bath your experience is not complete. This was the most relaxing moment of our trip in Goreme. The staff was so professional, the rooms were very clean and the masseuse were so polite and discreet. This is a top notch Hamman experience. 5 starts all around.

To avoid the severe sunlight, I booked a 90min spa package for the day time here. Very nice to meet Doreen who professionally provided a fantastic massage experience. After a more than 10,000 steps journey, I relaxed and cleaned my whole body here. The rooms are spacious and cozy, with a big bathtub and great scenery. It would be an impressive experience if you come.

We had a great stay with Emre and the staff was super helpful. The rooms were comfortable, clean and convenient as we were on the first floor. The breakfast was always delicious with a great taste of home cooked food! We have also had a massage session in their ham which was fantastic. Emre gave us tips on where to go and some tours to do and we ended up doing the red tour and ATV tour. The hotel is 7 min walk from the city center, so it's quite convenient. Overall it was a great experience and I highly recommend it.

We had a nice stay at this hotel. Rooms are beautiful, location is perfect. Walking distance to a lot of shops in the town, which was very convenient. Breakfast was also superb. Probably the best we had the entire trip in Turkey. The only difficult part of the stay was that there was no air conditioner in the bedroom (we booked a deluxe suite situation). Since we were in a cave, it is a bit cooler than outdoors, and there is an AC in the entryway, but there is a long hallway (several meters long) to the bedroom and it was difficult to feel the air there. If there was a ceiling fan in the bedroom, it would have been perfect.

We had a great stay here. The room was clean and had a great view. People were friendly and very welcoming. The location is amazing, it is very close to all the cafes, restaurants, gift shops etc as well as a few hikes and viewpoints. They also have a beautiful terrace with lots of seats to relax and enjoy the view. The breakfast was very good and had plenty of options! Definitely recommend!

We stayed in the Standard room which was clean and spacious. The aircon was great and needed for staying during August. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. The stay included breakfast, which had a large variety and was very good. The hotel offered a good laundry service of €15 per 5kg bag, which was returned a day after drop off. There was loud music from a surrounding bar at night, however the noise died down around 10pm. There was a smell coming from the toilet every now and then, like a sewage issue, however that appears to be a common problem in other hotels in Turkey. Very convenient location being in the middle of town, plenty of restaurants and cafes in walking distance. The hotel has a designated car park for guests which was very handy. Good value accommodation and would stay again.

Wonderful experience, very nicely built to give you exact cave like experience, breakfast was Mediterranean style, with options of cheese, juice, salads and others. Rooms were nicely build, staff was really helpful too. We had a suite and it had jacuzzi as well (which really helped to relax after busy day of sightseeing). Location is right in middle of Gerome! Balloon ride can be scene from their rooftop! Lovely experience and would love to recommend!!!

I absolutely loved my stay at this cave hotel! The terraces were stunning, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding scenery. Each morning, I was impressed by the wide variety of breakfast options, and the homemade dishes were truly delicious. The hotel was not only affordable and safe but also had the most welcoming and attentive staff I’ve ever encountered. I highly recommend this place for your next stay—it was a truly unforgettable experience.

The hotel is very well located, and I stayed in the cave suite, which was a unique experience. The Wi-Fi signal in the room was a little weak, but honestly, I didn’t mind—it helped me disconnect and enjoy my stay even more. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist and recommend amazing tours. Breakfast was good. Overall, a wonderful stay that I would definitely recommend.
Pamela S — Google review
Pros - The owner is friendly, helpful, and has excellent customer service. He’s very responsive to requests. - The breakfast is superb—beautifully prepared, and we thoroughly enjoyed it during our stay. Cons - There was constant bass pounding from a neighboring bar, which might be tolerable for some but was bothersome for us as light sleepers. - On our first night, a loud karaoke event ran past 11 PM, with someone singing (very poorly) at the top of their voice. Thankfully, this was a one-time event, but the persistent bass noise remained an issue. - A serious problem was the foul sewer odour coming from the toilet in our first room. The first night was especially unpleasant. The owner kindly upgraded us to another room the next day, which was much better overall. However, even there, we noticed a lingering unpleasant smell from the toilet and had to keep the door shut after each use. - The internet is painfully slow, and the TVs are very basic—no smart features, casting, or external device connectivity. - Most facilities are dated and need upgrades such as wobbly tables, broken toilet lid (I had to hold it while peeing), the shower tap positioned too low, and weak, ineffective hairdryer

We spent 3 nights there and we are very happy that we chose Mare Cappadocia. The hotel seems very new, everything is very attractively designed and clean. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for exploring Göreme and the surrounding area. The breakfast is plentiful and good, with a delicious Turkish touch, and the pool invites you to relax after a hike in one of the surrounding valleys. We felt completely at home here and are happy to recommend this hotel to others. Thanks for such a great time!

Very comfortable, clean, modern design and spacious room. Breakfast was great- very plentiful, fresh and with some different delicacies every day.and a very good breakfast service. Extremely helpful and friendly staff in reception who helped us organise our trips. It’s a newly renovated hotel in a quiet location but very close to the centre and all the restaurants . We didn’t use the pool as the weather was a bit chilly but it looked very inviting. Rooftop area was very good to view the balloon flights in the morning.

We had a very nice stay at Mare! The staff was very helpful both before and during the stay and helped organise transport to and from the airport. During the stay they were friendly, attentive and made sure we were well equipped to explore the region. Very good traditional breakfast served on the beautiful rooftop. The room was very large, built like a cave structure and very clean. Location was perfect and we even had balloons flying right over the hotel.

We booked Mare Cappadocia with third party. This hotel is relatively new , less then year old since opening. Rooms are amazing, species, very clean and finished with in classic travertine stone finish and clean elegant wood work. Very friendly stuff. From manager Aynur, front desk people, kitchen stuff , servers and others. Breakfast was great, cooked on order with traditional Turkish platter of fresh fruits, vegetables, pastries, dry fruits, cheeses etc. They even have outdoor pool to enjoy. They can even help you to make a reservation to book activities, visit parks, hot ballo ride etc. Management even offered us to upgrade our room and we’re very thankful for that. We will be back again, 100%

This is a long overdue review. I stayed in early July and the owner was so hospitable and helpful in coordinating activities. The other employees -not quite as well versed...had some hiccups in communication but still resulted in excellent service. For example, coordinated pickup to airport through the front desk and the employee asked for my flight number only. Took a nap when I got on the bus and woke up at the wrong airport! The owner offered to pay for the change in flight which was unexpected but above and beyond. Breakfast was perfection and better than other Turkish breakfast that I paid for while in the area. Location was amazing as well, very central and “flat” which was good when walking around. The hotel is new so rooms were more modern and spacious rather than older and cave like which I personally wanted, but note that because the hotel is new it doesn’t have the fairy chimney charm like some of the other facilities. But again this was worth it to me-since I was staying by myself and wanted a more comfortable stay. Pool was nice-would have liked some later hours and more seating setup on the roof areas in the morning to view the sunrise even if the balloons weren’t flying -but overall was a fantastic stay and I would do again.
Christine J — Google review
Definitely an elevated hotel experience in Cappadocia. Comfortable and tasteful rooms, easily accessible to all locations, has a rooftop pool and other roof terraces to conveniently roll out of bed to view the sunrise and hot air balloons, and their rooftop/deck Turkish breakfast is some of the best breakfasts in all of Türkiye. What stood out to us was their staff, especially the front desk who helped us negotiate the price for a local driver and culturally interpret for us. We are grateful for their help and our stay at this beautiful hotel!

Excellent stay The Manager of the hotel was very nice and friendly and helped us to arrange some tour of the area. Very comfortable beds and rooms with no noise at all. Very peaceful! Breakfast was probably the best we had within our 10 days in Turkey. The service was very attentive and professional. The staff at the reception was also very well trained and friendly. They also offered some towels to stay by the pool after our check-out Would definitely stay here again!
Heloise C — Google review
This hotel deserves a 5 star rating for an overall incredible experience. This is a fairly new hotel. The owner welcomed us in the reception and had our room ready for a early checkin (recommend to check always with the reception if this is possible). The hotel itself is looks like from an interior design magazine. The room was super comfortable, well decorated and had all the amenities you expect to find on high level hotels. Being such a small hotel (like most of the hotels in Capadoccia) we got the chance to have a very personalized treatment, the owner recommended us walking tours, what to see, where to find certain service… all without pushing us to buy services from them. All the staff we encountered was super nice. The breakfast (Turkish style and huge one) was also fantastic. I worked and stayed in five star hotels and I can certainly say that I was better treated in Mare Cappadocia than in these hotels.

Nestled in the heart of Cappadocia, Kelebek Special Cave Hotel is a rustic-chic retreat carved from stone, offering breathtaking views of the village, valleys, and mountains. Originally a group of linked mountain homes belonging to a prominent local figure, it has been transformed into a five-star hotel with 35 rooms. The hotel offers various recreational activities such as swimming, sports, and balloon rides.
We recently stayed a few nights at Kelebek in Goreme. Reservation was made a couple months prior to our trip to Cappadocia through booking.com. We were well received upon arrival and were able to check-in to our room a couple hours early which was nice. The property is nicely laid out and beautiful, there are a couple of rooftop areas to enjoy the morning hot-air balloons, a very good restaurant called Happena where we enjoyed morning breakfasts included with the stay as well as a couple of dinners as well, reservations for evening meals recommended. Our room was charming, nicely decorated, good space and comfortable. Bed was fine, room included safe, fridge, kettle and espresso machine. Shower worked just fine as well. Our suite included a small balcony area which made for a pleasant place to spend time as well. On the whole, this was a great suite and property, a place we would very much enjoy staying at again in Goreme.

We were upgraded from a Junior Suite to a beautiful Honeymoon Suite for our engagement, which made the stay extra special! The service was exceptional — staff were warm, friendly, and always ready to help. The views from the room and the pool were absolutely breathtaking. The restaurant staff were incredibly kind, and the breakfast spread was delicious with stunning views to match. Truly a memorable experience — 10/10 stay! Highly recommend for couples or anyone looking for a luxurious, relaxing getaway. 💕

Absolutely loved this place. Highly recommend to anyone staying in the area. The cave rooms are so cool and I loved all the staff - they were attentive, active, and very engaged in making my stay a really special one! Rooms were quiet, common areas were clean and comfortable, and honestly I would preferentially pick this hotel to stay at in the future. Highly recommend!

Two of us made a reservation in the spa here — I tried the 90-minute Turkish bath package, and it was pretty good! We paid €200 for two people. The place and facilities are quite new, so if you’re hesitant about visiting an old, traditional hamam with decades-old facilities, this is a great alternative to try while in Cappadocia.

The hotel is amazing, staff very friendly, helpful and informative. Our Fairy Chimney room was spectacular, breakfast very good. Numerous terraces to see the balloons go over the town. We booked our transfers, Balloon Flight (Turquaz Balloons), Red and Green small group tour plus Sunset Horse Ride through the hotel tours, all were amazing and fantastic value. The Hotel Spa is wonderful, excellent value and the best massage we have ever had. I can definitely recommend this hotel and have no complaints at all. Kelebek Hotel and Tours made this a very memorable, unforgettable and magical trip.

If you are looking for a place to stay in Cappadocia, you must choose Kelebek Cave Hotel! The service provided by the hotel manager SERKAN AKÇIÇEK was of a level of excellence that I haven’t experienced in a while. His attention to detail throughout my stay was not only phenomenal but also genuinely kind. The hotel provided support of ahead of my dream trip by providing suggestions for hot air balloon booking, private tour guides and transportation to and from the hotel/airport. Each company they suggested exceed my expectations. The hotel has incredible views for seeing the balloons in the mornings, no need to leave the property. The food is also excellent and the spa is a must do! Have the hamam treatment, it will not disappoint!! All the hotel staff were customer service focused, leaving the guest to want nothing. A special thanks to SERKAN AKÇIÇEK who recognized it was my birthday upon checking in, and gave me a birthday memory that I will never forget. 😇

Nestled in the historic part of Cappadocia, Harman Cave Hotel offers a unique stay in stone-built quarters with Ottoman-style decor. The hotel features soundproofed rooms equipped with modern amenities and a sun terrace where guests can enjoy stunning views of the valley at sunset. Conveniently located near popular attractions like Kapadokya Balloons and Pigeon Valley, the hotel's friendly staff is ready to assist with booking hot air balloon rides, tours, and airport transfers.
Harman Cave Hotel was a fantastic place to stay! The environment is peaceful, and the rooms are clean and comfortable — perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. All the staff were super friendly and helpful throughout our stay. One of the best parts was being able to watch the hot air balloons right from the rooftop in the morning — such a beautiful and unforgettable view! Highly recommended if you're visiting Cappadocia.

This hotel has very nice rooms and a really helpful staff. They helped us with planning a balloon flight and rent a car for fair prices. The location and the rooftop terrace are beautiful.

Good location and views of Göreme, breakfast was excellent, reception team was helpful. The room wasn't great, bed was uncomfortable and our first night the heat was to high and AC wasn't working to get some sleep , although they fix it the next day, we had to remind the staff to clean our room every day and sometimes they didn't even clean it. Also don't rush to reserve tours with the hotel even if it's late, there are plenty of options all over the town with good prices and quality.

Our stay here was exceptional, we booked budget cave room, and it came with superb view. The room was super clean and had all amenities mentioned in their listing. The host were kind enough to let us check in early and kept our luggage safe on check out as well. They also offered us tours in really good prices and guided us well to plan our days. The best part about this hotel is the view from their rooftop, as it stands high on the hill you have full 360 degrees view of Göreme. Watching sunrise and the hot air balloons is one of the best experience we had while staying in here. Last but not the least the breakfast was amazing. I would highly recommend this hotel. I have attached the picture and videos so that you can have better idea of the hotel. Special thanks to Hussain for hosting us.

Harman Cave hotel is a very tourist-friendly hotel. The staff's behavior is excellent, and the location is superb. Everything is within walking distance. The hotel's rooftop is an ideal spot to watch the balloons . You can see Uchisir castle, rose vally etc from your hotel room and rooftop. On a word it’s a highly recommended hotel

Amazing hotel. The room we had was indeed in the cave. It had great view and small balcony. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Plamen T — Google review
Good location and view, but an OK room. Pros: Location was close to the central area and had a nice view of balloons and chimneys. Staff was very helpful with booking tours, airport transfers, and balloon flights. Breakfast was good and had enough vegetarian options (although they should label the food items). There were many nice seating areas outside in the open space, although the arrangement was slightly different from the pictures. Reception was available 24/7 and there was a luggage storage space available after checkout. Cons: The room and maintenance could be improved. Pricing could be better. The hotel's prices for tours and balloon flights were higher than what we found outside, and they claimed that their quality was better (although we didn't book through the hotel so we can't confirm this). Checkout time is early (11:00 a.m.) which doesn't help because many flights are later in the day. The entire property is only accessible by stairs.

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying in the Fairy Chimney suite, as well as the other guest rooms. All of them were wonderful and comfortable, but the Chimney suite is stunning and well worth the money. We really love the family that owns and runs this resort. We had wonderful long conversations with them, they could not have been more helpful and friendly, and we felt like coming home when we returned at the end of the day. I want to also compliment the owner on the new lights in the entry way - they look great! We will definitely be back, thank you so much for your hospitality and the wonderfully appointed Chimney suite (your wife's personal touches in the decorating are perfect)!

The Milat Cave Hotel is a lovely property situated in the charming town of Goreme, in Turkey. It features a garden and restaurant, as well as clean and spacious rooms. The hotel is an excellent value for money, and would be perfect for travellers looking for a relaxing stay in this beautiful part of Turkey.
I stayed for 3 days with my 1-year-old baby. Communication with the hotel was very easy, and they responded quickly. The hotel has complete facilities and is very baby-friendly. The best part was the staff, who were always ready to help, always smiling, and the breakfast menu and vibes were great with friendly staff. There are two terraces with views of the balloons and other beautiful scenery. The hotel was also very kind when I arrived and was picked up by the shuttle at 8:00 PM — they allowed me and my baby to wait on the terrace and provided complimentary tea. The Wi-Fi here is excellent. The location is very strategic for those who want to explore the area.

Good location. Great views of Gerome from the terrace. Breakfast is the best we ever had in Turkey. Mr Smiles was also funny and welcoming. Made us feel right at home. He made our stay so much enjoyable. Greetings from Australia.

The location is good, just a few minutes from the center. It's great that there's no noise around. The rooftop is a good spot to see the hot air balloon, just a few steps away. We went to see the hot air balloon every day during our stay. On another trip, you can walk up to the hill behind the hotel. You will see another view. Housekeeper, Nur and Aminah are very nice and helpful. Amazing breakfast, with a variety and good taste. I have to say the good point. The room and shower area small size but it is fine for us with the price. I would like to rate here at 4.5 stars but it has a bit of a toilet bowl issued and no Wifi internet for 3 days during our stay.

Very reasonable price. The rooms were small but they were nice. Amazing views from terrace. Situated at a very good location. From market to restaurants, bus stand, everything was nearby. Staff were very helpful.

Nice hotel, walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Communication and service was always done promptly. Our room always had fresh towels, and everything was restocked every day. Breakfast was buffet style with several delicious options to choose from.

I enjoyed my stay here. The room was not very “cave like”. The staff was very kind and helpful. The rooftop had a great view for balloon watching. The location was perfect, very close to the city centre. We were able to walk everywhere. The breakfast buffet was a great addition. I wish it started a tad earlier than 8am.
Tish J — Google review
The views from the terrace are really good! They have a lot of terraces and is the best thing of this hotel. The room is very small, it looked better on booking and it could be cleaner. The staff could be more friendly, as soon as we arrived they made us go to get cash, we were very tired and instead of being able to rest we had to go to get cash to pay for the balloon. Also, if you are leaving early you will loose your breakfast, they don't offer you options like other hotels do. Do not book balloon with them, you will have to pay in cash and the company they sent us to was not safe at all, we were 22 in the balloon and it didn't feel good, also we had to pay with cash which is ridiculous for that amount of money. The rest of the activities like quad and transfer were very good and good management of the hotel. I really recommend the quad activity.

Nestled near various dining options and just 2.9 km from Fairy Chimneys, Century Cave Hotel in Goreme offers a well-managed stay with commendable staff service. The cozy cave rooms provide a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration. The picturesque surroundings create a magical winter wonderland ambiance, enhanced by the presence of friendly dogs on the property.
I dreamt of going there before my trip started, and when I got there, my expectations were met! It's an amazing hotel, I felt like I was living in a Turkish TV series and I regret spending too little time there. I should have stayed longer. Anyway, the room was great, gorgeous and clean. There was just a little problem with the bathroom ceiling (while using the hairdryer some dust would fall, but the ceiling is made of rock, so I guess it could happen). The service was great, the staff very helpful and friendly. I booked a Turkish hammam and it went smoothly. Then I spent the evening at the restaurant, because I dreamt of enjoying the view this beautiful hotel offers, and I had dinner, I found food was delicious 🤤 Least but not last, the location is great and I would recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to stay in Göreme and/or any surrounding areas.

We were a group 3 all women group, stayed here for 3 days! It’s quite easy to get here from the main road. Walkable distance. Found it safe to walk to and fro at all times. The breakfast spread is really good, worth the price. Far better than the over hyped cafes around with not so good taste! They even serve great sheesha!! The staff is super friendly, welcoming and very comforting. We checked out of our room on the last day and could not go out because of bad weather, ended up chilling in their courtyard, reception and the buffet area for hours. The staff was kind enough to specially bake a pizza, make us some hot tea and even sheesha inspite of the odd hours.

First Impressions Just checked into the Century Cave Hotel and it already feels incredible! The super luxury room is beautifully designed, spotless, and so comfortable. The staff have been extremely welcoming and professional, making the check-in process smooth and enjoyable. The view from our room is already stunning, and we can’t wait to see the sunrise in the morning. it looks like it’s going to be amazing. So far, everything is perfect. 100% recommended already!

We were a party of 7 with seniors and children, and had a 1-night stay at this hotel as we were supposed to check into another the next morning for an event. Checked in late and realised that we had stairs to get to our room. The boy manning the reception in the night (didn’t get his name) single-handedly helped us carry our huge bags to respective rooms. Breakfast was good; not much for vegetarians but it is what it is. They even arranged to drop us to our next hotel in their hotel van and helped with the bags again. The service levels were exemplary!

My stay at Century Cave Hotel was a wonderful experience. The hotel is centrally located in the heart of Göreme, making it easy to explore the town and nearby attractions. The cave-style rooms were both charming and comfortable, blending traditional design with modern amenities. What truly made the stay exceptional was the hospitality. The staff were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to assist with everything from booking tours to recommending local spots. The rooftop terrace was a standout feature—perfect for enjoying a rich Turkish breakfast while watching hot air balloons float across the early morning sky. Century Cave Hotel offers great value and an authentic Cappadocian experience. I’d highly recommend it to anyone planning a visit to this magical region.

Room is beautiful. We have a family room . Even with the AC, it's hot in the back. Worst thing is the noise insulation. Guests next door are talking till past 11pm. We lost some sleep because of that. Please consider quiet time policy The man in glasses who helped us out in parking was very nice. He guided us well on how to park on a narrow winding road Breakfast policy is a little confusing. Expedia said we got free breakfast but then I was told it cost 10 euro, which I paid at the end. Can be an issue from Expedia. Hot food did run out at the end, which staffs are reluctant to refill Neighborhood is wonderful, although the location can be problem. Hotel is located on a narrow, winding road uphill. It will test on your driving skill.

Located in Goreme National Park, Doors Of Cappadocia offers unique accommodation with an outdoor pool and bar. The rooms and suites come with a variety of amenities, including air conditioning and private bathrooms designed as Turkish hammam style. Guests can enjoy free breakfast each day.
We absolutely loved our experience at Doors of Cappadocia & Room 108 was perfect—ideal for anyone who's a bit claustrophobic. You still get the charm of a cave room, but with a window and no low ceilings. The rooftop deck was one of the highlights—beautiful Turkish-style cushions, the perfect spot for that breathtaking view of hot air balloons at sunrise, and later on, the magical glow of the sunset. Our 4-year-old especially enjoyed the pool and the genuinely friendly staff, which made our stay even more memorable. The only downside was the lack of a designated non-smoking area. At times, the cigarette smoke from other guests and even staff could be noticeable, which isn’t ideal for non-smokers or families with children. Overall, though, Doors of Cappadocia gave us a wonderful stay with unforgettable views and warm hospitality. We’d definitely recommend it and would love to come back!

What an amazing place! Cosy intimate hotel with fabulous views of Goreme and Uchisar Castle. Great location to watch balloons early morning and close to all the shops and restaurants. Staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful getting us trips and activities and taxis arranged. Lovely little pool area to chill out with pool bar and snacks. Great selection of Turkish style breakfast foods and drinks. Felt like part of the family after a few days and did not want to leave. It was fine for us but you do need to be mobile and active as steps everywhere!

Nice, cozy and authentic boutique hotel. The room (we stay in King Suit ) was clean, comfortable and with lovely view to Goreme town from one side and pool terrace (where possible to watch balloons in the morning) from another side. The breakfast is really good: rich choice, beautifully cooked and presented. Drinks (for extra payment) was perfect. Staff are absolutely amazing. Big thanks to everyone for great caring about their guests. WiFi was good even on territory, by the way territory around also very nice and clean. Highly recommend "Doors of Cappadocia" if you are planing to stay in Goreme, hotel well located, it's very easy to reach historical places of Cappadocia and for taking walk in evening town.
Natali Y — Google review
This is a lovely hotel however the 1 star rating is due to the fact our 4 night stay was less than ideal due to the room air-conditioner not working and the management did nothing to assist fixing it. It is a hot location so aircon is expected for the price charged for this hotel. As a result we had to have every door and window open, which was still hot and then had the light and local noises all through the night to interrupt any sleep we did manage to get. Very disappointed that we weren't at least offered a room change (the hotel wasn't full) or a fan. Would not stay here again or recommend a stay. There are many, many other beautiful hotels to choose from in Goreme.

I had a great time at Terra Bella. The location is just perfect in the center of Göreme, and there is a huge terrace from where we can see the balloons flying in the morning. The staff is very gentle and helpful, they gave me good advices for everything I needed. The rooms are really comfortable and clean, and I had a very nice view. There is also such a beautiful common area in cave, with nice and comfortable seats where one can spend time, chill and meet people. I definitely recommend !!

We had a truly wonderful experience at Terra Bella Hotel. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and taken care of. The check-in process was smooth and quick, and the staff greeted us with warm smiles and genuine hospitality, which immediately set the tone for our stay. The rooms were very comfortable, clean, and well designed with all the essentials provided. The bed was cozy, and we appreciated the little touches like complimentary water, fresh linens, and good room amenities. Everything was neat and tidy, which made us feel at home right away. The hotel itself has a very relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. It’s well-maintained and beautifully presented, with attention given to both the interiors and the outdoor areas. We especially enjoyed the quiet surroundings—it felt like the perfect place to rest after a busy day of exploring. One of the highlights was definitely the food. The meals were fresh, tasty, and well-prepared with a good balance of local and international flavors. Breakfast was always a pleasant start to the day, and the service at the restaurant was attentive without being intrusive. Safety and cleanliness were clearly a priority here. The housekeeping staff did a great job, and we always felt comfortable knowing the hotel was well looked after. Most importantly, the service really stood out. Every staff member we interacted with was polite, helpful, and willing to go the extra mile. Whether it was arranging small details for our comfort or giving us tips about the local area, they made our stay memorable. Overall, Terra Bella Hotel is an excellent choice if you’re looking for a place that combines comfort, friendliness, and value for money. We left with nothing but good memories and would happily return again. Highly recommended for couples, families, or anyone who wants a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

I’ve stayed 5 nights in this hotel hostel in Cappadocia. The location was perfect in the middle of everything and I even could watch balloons from its terrace and even my dorm room. Everything was reasonable based on how much I paid which was the cheapest option in the town. I’m happy that experienced its atmosphere and recommend it to other travelers.

The charm of this boutique hotel lies not only in its beautiful stone architecture and tranquil setting but also in the genuine hospitality of the staff. The rooms are cozy, tastefully decorated, and carved from natural stone—offering an authentic Cappadocian experience without sacrificing comfort. Everything was spotless, and thoughtful touches like complimentary tea and coffee made us feel right at home. Our mornings began with a hearty and delicious Turkish breakfast by the pool, setting the tone for a relaxing day ahead. The location is also perfect—tucked away from the crowds, yet just a short walk to town, shops, and restaurants. The owner and the team went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, from arranging tours to sharing local tips. Their warmth and attentiveness truly made all the difference. Location is perfect for visiting Goreme and staring at baloons, their starting point is near by. Hotel has special ambience with great idea of using local stone. Rooms are spacious and very nice, furnished with taste of elegance. Restaurant spacious, with terace. Breakfast with nice choice of local products, col and hot buffet. Dinner was served and very tasty. Special thanks for manager and staff, they are very helpful and considered on clients demands. I do reccommend!

Bad service, bad food, they have “spa service” but then hire other company to come give massage then tell you to pay cash, if not they charge you 25% extra In regards to your feedback. To clarify, I didn’t have dinner because the breakfast was stale and unappetizing. At checkout, I felt pressured to change my review. The staff member insisted my feedback was untrue and was rude when I explained my experience. I also had to repeatedly ask for the 10 euros I was owed for the massage, as he wanted me to change review. I wrote review day before and no one mentioned anything until checkout. With the advertised spa services. I expected the massage to be provided through the hotel, but I was told to pay cash afterward, nothing was upfront, which was inconvenient and unprofessional. When asked to pay with card he said 25% surcharge for card payments only added to my frustration. Overall, I cannot recommend your hotel.

Airport pick up and drop off was all handled by the hotel well. Breakfast was really good. Hotel is suited just 2 mins walk from main Goreme town center. I will recommend this hotel. We stayed at Alaturka House in Göreme for two nights and loved everything! The staff were super welcoming, breakfast was delicious, and our tours were perfectly arranged by them. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, and the thoughtful keychain gift at checkout was such a sweet touch. Highly recommend for a memorable stay in Cappadocia!

Walnut House is a charming hotel with stone-walled quarters and a cozy restaurant, surrounded by a lush garden. The rooms offer stunning views and are equipped with comfortable beds and heated flooring for added comfort. The Turkish decorations add a local flair to the stylish and affordable accommodations. The central location makes it convenient for exploring Goreme and its surroundings, with easy access to restaurants, markets, and nearby tours. Guests can enjoy delicious breakfast on the terrace while taking in beautiful views of hot air balloons.
Hotel on the main street of Göreme, but you can't hear the street noise in the rooms. Freshly renovated bathroom. Clean rooms. Very nice service. Tasty breakfasts. You can see the balloons from the terrace. Very nice place, especially the room with a balcony. We recommend!

Walnut House is a gem in Cappadocia! From the minute we arrived, we felt completely at home. The owner and staff are so friendly and welcoming—it’s clear they genuinely care about their guests. The Turkish breakfast was incredible—fresh, delicious, and so satisfying. A true feast every morning! The location is perfect—close to everything you could want. It’s just a few minutes’ walk to hot air balloon companies, ATV and horse riding tour operators, plus great restaurants, bars, pubs, and local shops. Clean, cozy rooms, amazing views, kind people, and one of the best locations in Göreme. We loved every minute and would definitely stay again!

They offer airport shuttle service and you can stay in a cave, which was a really unique and fun experience. We also loved the breakfast on the rooftop, and the location in the center of Göreme made it very easy to get to wherever we wanted to go. I've never stayed in a place with such clean interiors and facilities in Turkey! Will definitely come back again!!!😍🙏🏼

We were glad we found this little gem locating in the central Goreme location easily accessible to restaurants and attractions without climbing at all. With very good rate, we chose the room with balcony, highly recommended, we can see the hot air balloon from our balcony and also from the breakfast terrace. Breakfast options were great, staffs were helpful attending to our requests and questions.

Great option with a great service Clean and spacious no-frills rooms, with tasty breakfast included and great service. The guys at this hotel did everything possible to make our stay comfortable, from booking tours in advance to receiving an item that we had ordered, and so on. Location is perfect, just a few meters from the main drag in town, walking distance to virtually everywhere in Goreme, great choice, plan to come back.

In a good position to see the hot air ballons flight, the hotel is quiet and has a good patio where you can rest. Spacious, simple and clean room. Rich and good breakfast with free coffee and tea all day long. Ramos and all the staff are helpful and very kind
Hemi K — Google review
It has a nice, very central location, and is very near all of the main attractions, and is also actually right between two "fairy chimneys", which is quite magical. There is also a lovely balcony and courtyard where you can relax. The central location also means that you are right in the centre of everything and it gets really loud at 6 am when the vans drive by to pick up the balloons after they land.
SHARAD M — Google review
There was a misunderstanding when we arrive but basically it was the fault of booking company. My room had an excellent view of the balloons and i was just so close to them. Breakfast was good though same everyday. People were friendly and helpful.

Great quality, authentic and positive vibes We stayed in absolutely great room in fairy chimney. It was so authentic, had 2 rooms - 1 is sitting tea-zone ("chaihane") with colorful Turkish sitting pillows, 2 - is a bedroom with comfy bed and nice lightning. We felt in love with that room! It was a few days ago. And right now we are here again! We are staying in another cave room, smaller, but also very nice and cozy. I love about the hotel that tea and coffee are always available. It is nice to drink it in the garden under fruit trees or on the wall looking to the fabulous scenery of rocks and wild mountains. Wow! I like this place! Highly recommended! Also important that owners and stuff are very nice and kind people. I think they fill this place with their positive vibes, so the hotel has very cozy atmosphere.
Daria I — Google review
We stayed in the room with the bunk beds, we were 10 people so it was a lot of fun staying together! Everything was clean when we arrived. It was a little difficult with only one bathroom. The toilet was leaking and there was a bit of a smell from the toilet. The breakfast was very good! We enjoyed our stay very much and the owner manager is a super nice guy, he answered all our questions and provided us with any kind of help!
Julia S — Google review
Although the staff were friendly, the rooms were horrendous. The beds looked old and rundown. The bathroom was dirty. The ceiling had cracks and some mould on the walls. The pillows had holes in them and the curtains had stains all over. The outside common area was probably the only nice area in the hotel. We only planned to stay 1 night but left earlier because we just couldn't bring ourselves to shower and sleep in the room. Save your money and go elsewhere.
Ih — Google review
The hotel itself is located centrally and you can get anywhere quite easily. If you wake up early enough you'll get to see the hot air balloon just above you. The staff are really friendly and accommodating too. However, the room constantly has cold moist air and the the main reason this is a 1 star experience is because there is black mould all over the walls in the shower. The drain in the shower does not drain properly either so your feet is constantly drowned in your own dirty water and then ants starts floating on top of the shower water. This is inexcusable and quite a health hazard. In addition they are not exactly cheap. As friendly and accommodating the staff is, the rooms itself were extremely unpleasant.

We had a great stay at this hotel! Our room was spacious and very comfortable, even for three adults. The beds were excellent, ensuring a good night’s sleep. Breakfast was varied and delicious, and the service was outstanding. The staff at the breakfast area were incredibly kind and even made gözleme for us upon request, which was a lovely gesture. The terrace offers a fantastic view of the hot air balloons, making it a perfect spot for photos. The location is not exactly in the center, but it’s very close, and you can easily walk there in just a few minutes. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel and would love to stay here again!
Elisa E — Google review
I’m extremely disappointed by the way I was treated during my recent stay. I feel completely scammed by the hotel receptionist regarding the hot air balloon activity. I only asked for information about the activity and the price. I never confirmed or requested a reservation. Despite that, the receptionist later claimed that they had already booked the activity for me without my consent. I was then forced to pay for an activity I never agreed to and didn’t even participate in. To make things worse, I was met with a rude and disrespectful attitude when I tried to explain the situation. It’s completely unacceptable to be charged for something I didn’t use, based on a conversation that was clearly only meant to ask for details. What I got when we try to reasonable with them is “ there’s nothing to rewatch on security camera because you have to pay anyway, by cash or by card ? “ seriously it’s really frustrating to hear this but finally we have to pay since it’s time for us to flight back. I strongly urge future guests to demand everything clearly , Don’t rely on verbal since they will twist the truth as they want since we are foreigners. Always make it 100% clear whether you’re asking for information or making a booking. This has been one of the most disappointing and upsetting trips I’ve ever had not because of the destination, but because of the hotel’s behavior. I paid extra money for nothing and was treated with disrespect. This experience has completely ruined my stay.
Srey O — Google review
First of all, I do not agree with the negative comments here. From the moment we checked in, we felt very special. The welcome at the reception was very kind. Considering the quality of the tours and activities, the prices are quite reasonable. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and every detail was thoughtfully arranged. The breakfast was rich and delicious. The location is also very close to the city center. Thanks to the staff’s attentiveness and professionalism, our stay was truly enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

It’s been a long time since I have experienced such flawless service. The hotel’s architecture, the comfort of the rooms, and the facilities exceeded my expectations. The spa and restaurant added a special touch to our stay. Above all, the staff’s attentiveness and friendliness made our stay unforgettable. The reception staff were especially helpful.

Stayed in this amazing hotel... and we had a great experience. Just for the record Bahar & Dilek are amazing!!! They made me " happy eggs" every morning for breakfast. Great service!
Robby V — Google review
Extremely disappointing experience — the hotel fails on all fronts. The rooms were unhygienic, the service was unresponsive, and the management showed a complete lack of professionalism or concern. Especially of receptionist in morning shift and hotel manager(female)was very rude attitude Despite repeated complaints, basic issues like cleanliness, noise, and faulty amenities were ignored. The staff seemed poorly trained and disinterested, and management appeared more focused on excuses than solutions. This hotel is a clear example of how poor leadership can ruin what could have been a decent stay. I would strongly advise others to avoid this place.” They absolutely destroyed our tour to Cappadoccia I will never ever stay again in such a worst place Rooms are like small cages for animals
Junaid T — Google review
Please be careful when making activity reservations through the reception. In my previous experience at their hotel, they booked a hot air balloon ride for us while we were only asking for information about the activity, without our confirmation. In the end, they forced us to pay the full price unconditionally, even though we didn’t participate. I recommend using agencies near the hotel instead, as they offer better prices and are honest, unlike the hotel receptionists, who change the price every time.
Ponh E — Google review
The worst experience i ever had encountered among lots of my trip which we were forced to accept the payment for the reservation of a hot ballon air that was made without our consciousness and consent. Asking them the info included the price of an activity equals the reservation and the receptionist didn’t even inform if the reservation was made or not so you will be caught by surprise if you have an activity reservation since they didn’t even confirm the guest’s agreement or at least alert the guest that the reservation was made and finally you will be pointed no matter what to have a full responsibility of the payment for that surprising reservation made by their receptionist. Plus beware of the disgusting glance or attitude of some of their receptionist.

Our stay was exceptional in every way. There are some car parks in front of the hotel that easily to use. The guy in the receptionist was very kind. We arrive very late at night and he still welcome us in very good gesture. Their breakfast was excellent too, various choices. The family room was spacious, and the room heater works very well during our stay in winter. Did I mention the hot balloons view from the terrace? All just perfect. Feels like home.

We've had a fantastic stay at the hotel and enjoyed our visit a lot. Nihat kindly assisted us with everything we needed and helped a lot guiding us through the variety of activities offered in Göreme. AMAZING stay ! I have stayed in multiple hotels in Goreme and this one is the best. Lots of parking available, delicious breakfast, peaceful and way from touristy areas, minutes walk to everything you need. Definitively recommend. The views from the terrasse are exceptionnal! The owner and his family are very good people and upgraded us in more comfortable room.

My wife and I had a wonderful four-night stay at Gedik Cave Hotel. Nihat, our host, was absolutely fantastic—warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful. He arranged a hot air balloon ride for us, ensuring we flew with a reputable company at a fair rate. He also offered to organize other tours around the area, though we chose to explore on our own with some scenic hikes. We truly appreciated his hospitality and personal touch throughout our stay 🙏 The hotel itself was a delight—an intimate cave-style property tucked away at the back of town, offering a peaceful atmosphere while still being close to all the main attractions in Göreme. The rooms were cozy yet spacious enough to feel comfortable. While there’s no air conditioning, the cave walls naturally keep the temperature pleasant and cool. The Wi-Fi also worked surprisingly well, even with the thick stone walls. One of the highlights of our stay was the terrace, which offered unforgettable views of Göreme and the hot air balloons rising at sunrise. Mornings were made even better by the generous Turkish breakfast served from 8:30 to 10:30. It included a wide variety of delicious options, and you could request eggs prepared to your liking, along with freshly fried potatoes. Vegetarians will feel right at home with the many meat-free choices. We also loved the daily tea time from 5 to 8 PM, which featured freshly baked desserts—a lovely treat to end the day. We highly recommend staying at Gedik Cave Hotel and are already looking forward to coming back. Thank you so much for taking such good care of us, Nihat!

We enjoyed our 5 day stay. The room was comfy and the English speaking staff were great. Breakfast was good and on the roof top. One small suggestion to improve is the lighting. One switch turns on or off all lights maybe convenient but not suitable for all occasions. A bed light will be great.

It was a lovely place.. the staff was down to earth , humble, and always ready to help. The terrace kitchen was awesome and the breakfast served was the best breakfast I had so far. The staff is super helpful, reserving the balloon ride and offering activities in the area at a reasonable price. The breakfast is really good, with fresh fruit, bread... While some guests have praised the fantastic rooms and picturesque views, others have expressed disappointment with the staff's lack of cooperation.
It's a wonderful hotel. Thank you to the kind staff who are always welcoming. I brought my family back to Cappadocia and stayed at this hotel for three days. In the meantime, the kindness and kindness of the hotel staff have made our trip even happier. I don't think there is anything natural in the world. So the kindness and kindness shown to us by all the staff at this hotel are indivisible. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. First of all, the accommodation is in excellent condition. The place where "anything is possible". We had a wonderful time staying in Dervish Cave House. My stay at Dervish Cave House was an enchanting experience from beginning to end. Staying in a beautifully appointed cave room was unlike anything I’d ever done before—truly memorable and unique. The service throughout my visit was top-notch, and the breakfast each morning was both delicious and plentiful, setting the perfect tone for days filled with exploration and discovery. The warmth and kindness of the staff made a lasting impression, especially Sheida, who went out of her way to ensure we felt completely at home. From thoughtful hospitality to generous help with anything we needed, her care made our stay extra special. One of the standout highlights was the terrace—the view alone is reason enough to return. Watching the sunrise as dozens of hot air balloons floated above the valley was magical, and the nighttime view was equally breathtaking, offering a peaceful glimpse over the illuminated landscape. Sipping a glass of refreshing limonata at the top terrace as the scenery unfolded around us was the perfect way to unwind. This stay was truly unforgettable, and I’d recommend Dervish Cave House to anyone in search of a unique and heartfelt getaway.

Mehmet, Seyda, Halil, Sefa and the staff (I am very sorry, I think I may be missing a couple names here) made our stay comfortable and effortless! The location is great in terms of accessibility, views and local amenities. The rooms are pretty cool, (we had family suites booked), clean and spacious enough - depending on the ones you've booked. We requested the staff to help organize transport to and fro Kayseri airport, a photoshoot and the red tour through Dervish Caves. All plans were on time, well communicated and well coordinated. The breakfast by the way, is outstanding! Kudos to the chef and crew. A big THANK YOU to Elegance Cave Suites staff for their hospitality and for making our family trip truly memorable! Stars 4.8/5

Up until now i can’t seem to move on from this hotel 🥲 We booked 2 standard rooms for 2 nights and fortunately one of em was upgraded for free to deluxe suite with balcony. The standard room is so cozyyyy, modern with semi-bohemian style room, super clean, neat, very fragrant, the warm dimmed light enhances the Cappadocia’s exquisite vibe, i love the unique bathroom which is placed on half-lower floor from the bedroom. The deluxe suite room is spacious & bright. The scenery from the balcony is great, you can see Uchisar from far away. Everything went smooth & flawless, we’re assisted by Eren, he’s so helpful, informative, and accommodating. We were helped to find the hot air balloon flight one day prior too. Their breakfast is delicious and surely we had breakfast with beautiful view too around the hotel. Definitely will come back again, thank you for the beautiful stay!

What a gem! Fefis Hotel was absolutely lovely—comfortable, welcoming, and full of thoughtful touches that made our stay special. The breakfast each morning was generous and delicious (thanks to the sweetest lady who made sure everything was fresh and homemade), and the beds were seriously comfy—something we really appreciated after long days of exploring. The real stars of the show, though, are the people. Eren, the owner, is warm, helpful, and clearly takes pride in making sure guests feel at home. Sinan was also incredibly kind and went out of his way to help us with anything we needed. Between the two of them, we had amazing restaurant recommendations, taxi rides to exactly the places we wanted (we were combining stops from both the Red and Green Tours), and seamless transfers—first from Nevşehir to the hotel, and later to Kayseri airport. And don’t miss the sunrise show—hot air balloons float right over the hotel! It’s magical, and definitely worth setting your alarm. While it’s not a cave hotel, don’t let that hold you back. The location is ideal—close to town but without the heart-pounding climb of the hillside cave hotels. Daily cleaning, great beds, and a genuine sense of hospitality round out this perfect little spot. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

Emily’s cave house was absolutely amazing ! Would recommend anyone ! The room was gorgeous and super stylish with a great little jacuzzi bath in it. The top terrace very cosy and quiet , perfect to chill and read a book. The breakfast was literally one of the best we had in Turkey. All in all thof owners and workers were so generous and kind, we were very impressed. Much much nicer than many overpriced fake fancy hotels in the area .

The establishment is clean and looks beautiful since the hotel is carved out of the many famous rock formations of Cappadocia. The workers are friendly, caring, and helpful. Moreover, the breakfast includes various Turkish products like sausage, cheese, egg, pastry, fruits, and vegetables. Overall, it was a nice experience!

Authentic cave rooms with history that the manager explained. This was our second trip and we stayed here then too. The Turkish breakfast tasted great after the balloon ride and hiking. The cave was a great place to chill out in the middle of a desert summer day before an evening out.

Maybe one of the best places to stay in goreme. It is a real cave property with both cave and stone rooms which are very clean and comfortable. The staff ( Mehmet) is more than helpful and nice as company than you can imagine. He can speak fluently English and is willing to help with anything you want to have a pleasant stay in goreme. It’s in walking distance from the city Center and has a wonderful terrace to enjoy the fresh cooked breakfast until any time you want. If you stay you will remember your stay. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed this cave room! It was amazing to experience this and the owner, mister Mehmet was amazing! He helped us with everything we needed, we enjoyed staying outside and just talk with him, all the time he offered us tea and coffee and let me say this, the best tea and coffee from Goreme was here! The room was very nice and clean, the position was perfect, 1 minute away from supermarket and restaurants. We want to come again and for sure we will stay here! The thing we enjoyed the most was that we didn't felt like we was staying at a hotel, we felt like home, everything was so familiar and nice and all of this, thanks to mister Mehmet, teşekkür ederim!

A dream come true! Historic, luxurious and beautiful rooms with carpeted, vine-covered porches and courtyard. The breakfast was delicious and abundant! Easily my favorite thing in my trip to Turkey.

It's an original cave house and renovated last few years. A female owner was friendly, nice service. Some rooms has a fantastic view with their own space. It's a better to choose the upper floor rooms.

One of the best experiences of our world tour so far, with our friendly hosts Mehmet and Mohammed has treated us like family it made the stay stand out more, they helped with tours and transport. Mohammed showed off his cooking/BBQ skills for us one night and it was impressive. Emily Cave House is definitely recommended!

Sunset Cave Hotel in Cappadocia offers a unique experience with its iconic landscape of ancient cave and stone houses, fairy chimneys, and historical structures. Guests can enjoy watching the sunset from terraces and even borrow blankets and pillows for a cozy experience at the sunset point. The hotel sets up a charming picnic spot with authentic Turkish blankets, adding to the overall ambiance.
It was a 4-day trip to cappadocia with my friends. Honestly, we haven't used any public transportation or cab services because of our hotel owner (Mr. Ali & Turker)& great hospitality. They took care of us nicely! The breakfast was amazing. This hotel has an amazing view and location. Overall, a wonderful vacation was spent in cappadocia! Highly recommend!
Subashini S — Google review
I stayed for 2 nights and had an incredible experience. The design of the room is beautiful, and my suite had a lovely bathtub. The best part was watching hot air balloons and sunsets from the rooftop. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, helping me with getting a SIM card and arranging reasonably priced trips. The location is perfect, just a 3-minute walk to the famous sunset viewpoint and 5 minutes to the center. There are plenty of restaurants and convenient shops next door. The hotel staff even offered me free tea and biscuits while I was working in their restaurant. Highly recommend this hotel for its excellent service and amazing views, and the cats. My photos can’t show its beauty.
Shuiying L — Google review
The hotel is at great location. The sunrise point (Asiklar Tepesi) is just behind and 5 minutes walk from the hotel. All restaurants are on a walking distance. The hotel itself is located at a higher altitude as compared to some other hotels in Göreme which gives a great view of the town. The balloons can be seen from the hotel balcony. The rooms are made inside caves and spacious too. We had the top floor room which has a shared terrace with neighbor room. The rooms very clean with all amenities (except safe box). Their breakfast was very delicious specially the omelet that the elderly lady prepares on request with a smile. Their staff is very friendly and helpful too. Turker is a great guy and gave me great advice for my future itenrary booking. The owners have renovated the hotel recently about an year ago so if you were to judge the hotel, judge it with reviews and ratings for the past 8-9 months. I would totally recommend them.
Muhammad S — Google review
I can't say enough about this hotel, the location is amazing, the room is clean, beautiful and spacious. The Turkish breakfast buffet was amazing. The shower is awesome with the massage sprayer. The owner and his son are very nice and helpful, they helped us arrange our tour and transportation. They went above and beyond with their hospitality. Book this hotel, you won't regret it

Best place visited in my life. The rooms, location, food and especially hospitality is awesome. People working there are so nice and helpful and very very friendly. Manager Anas and Owner Türker himself and other staff they are lovely and welcoming. They helped us a lot with every single thing. The rooms are very clean, spacious and beautiful. The view from the rooms are unbelievable. Never enjoyed my stay before like this. Food was delicious there. I have no words to express how much me and my family enjoyed there. We were suppose to stay there for only one day but we changed our plan and stayed more few days just because of hospitality, view and cleanliness. Just loved it honestly. We visited other hotels before this one but other hotels pictures are so nice on Google but when you go there it's so dirty very dirty. But sunset cave is the best honestly. I strongly recommend sunset cave.

It was awesome experience for my family and i to stay here for 3 nights. Anis our tour guide whom speaks Urdu and well English goes above and beyond to meet all our needs. I would like to recommend you everyone to book there hot air balloon with them. Since they have best discount from outside agencies. The room was clean and sunrise and sunsets views were up to the mark. I would like to stay here in the future. اینجا جايي قشنگ تمیز است انیس پسر خوش برخورد و باحال است.

This excellent updated little hotel was a great place to spend 3 nights in Goreme. The balloons sailed right over and from our balcony every morning we enjoyed seeing them. One of the days we were up there flying. We didn’t want to do a full day grueling tour of all the cool things in the area and the owner offered us a private tour full day in his car of just the things we wanted to see. It was perfect! The breakfast is served Turkish style and was enough to keep us going.
Ivy B — Google review
We spent 3 nights at Sunset Cave and had a wonderful time. The location is perfect, downhill from the sunrise point where you can enjoy the hot air balloon and right in Goreme with multiple restaurants at your doorstep. The hospitality was exceptional and the hosts went out of their way to help me celebrate my mum’s birthday. Would definitely stay here again!

If you're planning a trip to the enchanting region of Cappadocia, consider staying at Days Inn Cappadocia. This charming 3-star hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Goreme, just a short stroll from local shops and attractions. Guests have praised its cleanliness and comfort, with cozy rooms that provide warmth during cooler months. The friendly front desk staff are always ready to assist you with tips on exploring the area or storing your bags if you arrive early.
The room was good considering the price. It’s one of the few budget-friendly options available in this area, making it a practical choice for travelers on a tight budget. The front desk staff was also very nice and helpful, which made the stay more pleasant. But unfortunately they don’t provide breakfast
Samet D — Google review
This was such good value!! Host was lovely, let us leave our bags here early and also when we checked out later. Room was clean and bed was super comfy. Super close to everything.
Mia N — Google review
I know there a few bad comments but we didn’t experience anything bad. We arrived early and the receptionist explained what there was to do around town and let us leave our bags in the common area. The room was clean and ready when we came back with no issues. We went in October so it was no hot in the room and the blankets kept us perfectly warm. The WiFi worked surprisingly well. If you read and follow all the rules you shouldn’t have any issues.

Be careful with your online reservation! I reserve by Expedia A room and I pay for it ! As soon as I arrive the reception was so rude and saying I have to pay cash, I told him that I pay already online he’s saying no go check your bank account, I did I got charged for 70$ but still he want cash as will, he told me if I don’t pay cash then I have to go to find another hotel! I don’t extremely recommended!!!!!! Stay away from this hotel ! And by the way, it was so bad smelling !!!

A small, very friendly hotel with a great location in Göreme. The thing is that there is no specific parking area which belongs to the hotel. You will need to find a proper space. Rooms were clean. I will definitely plan on staying there again next year.
İpek S — Google review
The manager was horrible, didnt listen to any request we had, requested for water said to drink tap, requested another fan for a room with no air conditioning and didnt comply, saying every room gets one, but there were loads of rooms empty. Made us pay an extra €58 because he said he needs to ‘block the room’ but the hotel was empty besides one other family. If i could review it lower than 1 i would.

The hotel provides free private parking and is within walking distance of Goreme bus terminal. It features a stone concept design and a rooftop restaurant with stunning views of hot-air balloons flying over the area. The staff are praised for their hospitality and assistance in booking various adventures such as hot air ballooning and ATV/Quad bike tours.
An incredibly lovely family run hotel - simple but clean and spacious rooms, delicious breakfast, and decent ammenities. But the nicest part is the family running the show. They are so kind and caring, and go above and beyond. We’ve been so lucky with our trip to Türkiye - but the team running this place makes a stay here extra worth it. Great food recommendations from staff and they’re always willing to help! We had issues with our next accomodation place cancelling on us and one of the staff Jayda was so lovely helping me try and sort that out. Thank you for making our time in Cappadocia even better!

Best place to stay easy access to every need, staff were very supportive and very kind. They also help you to arrange activities and balloon flights. They also helped us by dropping to horse riding activity when pickup vehicle is not available. Breakfast has a huge spread and tastes amazing but kind of repetitive. 100% recommended.

Overall, it was a good hotel. Our room was clean and tidy. I don't know why they only had a bathroom and toilet for two people in a triple room?! The ceiling of our bathroom was leaking water from the top floor. We reported it to the reception, but no one came to fix it. We put the trash bin , under the leaking area ourselves. The staff was kind and friendly. The breakfast was excellent and delicious. The view from the terrace to the city of Goreme and the balloons was great. If I travel to Cappadocia again, I will definitely stay at this hotel. 🙏🏼🙏🏼

The hotel is a great choice for travellers looking for a quality and comfortable place to sleep in Göreme. The staff (reception, breakfast, housekeeping and the little Pomeranian mascot) were all extremely nice, helpful and kind with us. We felt very warm and welcomed by all and I would recommend it if you're looking for a good price quality accommodation. Breakfast was varied with sweet and salty options (buffet style) and one can even enjoy it on the terrace. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean.

Delightful boutique hotel in the heart of Goreme, Cappadocia with amazing natural surroundings. Delicious breakfast and friendly and helpful hosts.
We stayed here for 4 nights and it was a wonderful experience. Its a family run hotel which is why there is love and personal attention to everything they do. The rooms were clean with touch of local authentic decor, breakfast was delicious served and cooked by Faruk’s wife herself ❤️ they will help you out in everything and take care of you like family. The location is excellent 5 min walk from main square and also close to baloon flying site. You will get a wonderful view of sunrise and sunset from their terrace and even close view of baloon view when it happens.

The most amazing service you’ll ever have. Uncle Farouk and his family went above and beyond for us. The info and inside knowledge they shared with us was invaluable. Aunty makes the best breakfast you could ask for. Felt more like stating with family than a hotel. Location was amazingggg and having a cup of coffee at sunrise and watching the hot air balloons flying right over the hotel terrace was priceless. Highly recommend staying here xx

It is a hotel where you will be welcomed as a family, they are really warm and special people however, even if we loved the stone structure of our room, the bed and room in general are not at the best condition as a 4 star hotel, not mini-bar inside the room and you need to ask to turn on the heater if you want hot water. We sent some items to the laundry and they got smaller. The location is great because you are really at the center of the village.

I had a great experience staying at this hotel. The room was clean, the location was convenient, and the staff were all very friendly. The owner was especially helpful, giving us great tips on local attractions and restaurants. We stayed for two nights and had planned to take a balloon ride on the first day. Unfortunately, it was canceled, and the next day was fully booked. Amazingly, the hotel owner was able to find us a spot at the very last minute. It was such a memorable and impressive experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!

An Absolutely Wonderful Stay in Göreme! Our stay at this hotel was fantastic from start to finish. The highlight for us was the incredibly generous and delicious breakfast served every morning. We have to give a special mention to the potatoes – the auntie fries them to absolute perfection, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside! The hotel staff were exceptionally kind and attentive. No matter the time, day or night, there was always someone available to answer our questions and help us. When we had a minor issue with our room, it was resolved immediately and with a smile. We also felt very safe and looked after by the hotel's lovely, big dog who seemed to be guarding our door. The location is superb, with a great view for watching the hot air balloons rise over the valley. It was also very convenient for getting around, with the bus station within easy reach for our tours and travels. We highly, highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable, friendly, and authentic Göreme experience. We can't wait to return!

With perfect location and great view, this hotel is a must when staying in cappadocia. All staff are very helpful. And a special thank you to Ishmael who gave us lots of tips and to the owner (didn’t get his name) who were always looking after us. Definitely recommend! Just a suggestion would be to switch the ambient music off earlier. And be mindful if you are staying in the rooms underneath the cafe/rooftop area, as there is a lot of noise from people moving furniture around.

What an amazing hotel! Loved the peaceful and quite atmosphere and the lovely staff which treated us like family. The rooms are spacious, the beds are very good too and don't get me started about the delicious breakfast every morning, I'll start drooling again. Special thanks to Mehmet!

Our stay at Paradise Cappadocia Hotel was absolutely perfect and truly unforgettable. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean. Every morning we enjoyed a delicious and varied breakfast that gave us the perfect start to the day. What really made our experience stand out was the incredible staff – always warm, welcoming, and ready to help with anything we needed. The hotel’s terrace was another highlight: the perfect spot to watch the hot air balloons rise in the early morning, or to relax by the fire in the evening with a cozy atmosphere. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cappadocia. ❤️🙏🏻

Paradise Cappadocia it is the best accomodation that I had so far. Cappadocia it is like a fairytale. They have the best view. The people that work there are very friendly, nice and allways try to help you with anything that you need. The view it's speechless, breathtaking. Amazing sunsets and sunrises. You can relax in a beautiful swing or sitting on a chair and drink a tea. The rooms are big, nice and clean. The staff that work there are so lovely. I will give you a couple of examples: when I went to had breakfast I thought that in a jar was ayran and the lady that prepared the food told me that there's milk in the jar and not ayran. After a couple of minutes she brought me ayran. That was so cute, she is a lovely lady. The food it was delicious. In one of the mornings I went to see the show with the hot air balloons on the terrace and one of the boys that was working there made a coffee for himself and he made one for me as well, even if I was not able to see him as I was enjoying the swing and the view. That was so nice. Ishmael helped us by telling us what we can see and how to get there, very helpful. They have a lovely dog named Pickles, so friendly and playfull. All the guests were playing with her. We would like to thank you for everything and hopefully we will see you again. Take care of yourself! Say hi to the boss and big boss too! Paradise Cappadocia Hotel truly feels like paradise. I already left this review on my booking site, but I was so satisfied that I wanted to share it here on Google as well. There’s no need to list everything a hotel should offer—location, facilities, breakfast, etc.—because this place exceeded expectations on all fronts. If this popular hotel happens to be fully booked on your travel dates, I still highly recommend visiting the rooftop terrace bar for a drink. It's far more stylish and offers a better view than any restaurant in town. I spent nearly all of my free time there when I wasn’t on a tour—it’s that good. Even though my trip was short and I could only stay for two nights, the staff left such a great impression that I even remembered their names: Umut, Harun, Serdar, and Daud. Thank you for being so professional and friendly. This hotel made me want to return to Cappadocia again someday.

Me and my family stayed for 3 nights, location is very central, easy to find foods & everything. I booked a room with balcony , where we could watch hot air balloon in the morning, and it was very beautiful. The rooms are clean & comfortable, the breakfast has lots of option & very well prepared. The owner also helped us book a car to go around. Last but not least, we really love Hector the dog, he's so cute & friendly, he's like the mascot of the hotel.

My two children and I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. From the city center to the hotel is close. Just walk a few minutes after getting off the bus. We were greeted by Hector, a very cute and kind dog. The view from the rooftop is very beautiful. We can bring our own food and drinks here while gazing at the view in the sky and below us. Fantastic. The waiter was also very friendly and explained in detail. It so happened that our room was downstairs but we had no problem with that. Maybe next time they could provide water every day because we stayed for two nights 🤗 Thanks!!!

Me and my daughter stayed over in hotel for 2 nights, and had a wonderful stay in Azalea hotel. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The owners are very friendly and helpful. They helped us to book activities and when our hot air baloon ride was cancelled due to weather, they helped us find a different location and booked a baloon ride for us, which was amazing. They suggested in future to maybe look at booking hot air balloon rides in Pamukkale especially if you are pressed for time and good weather. They also booked travel services to the airport for us. They provided a delicious breakfast with a lot of variety. The staff were very friendly, and we love the dog Hector :-) The hotel are surrounded by accessible restaurants and shops, very central. Overall, a wonderful stay and experience!

Unforgettable Stay | Exceptional Hospitality & Magical Moments We stayed at Azalea Terrace as a group of 10, and everything was simply perfect from start to finish. The hotel is ideally located, peaceful yet just a short walk from the centre of Göreme, with breathtaking views from the terrace. What truly made our stay unforgettable was the incredible hospitality of Herdal, Ali, and the owners. They welcomed us with kindness, generosity, and genuine care, always attentive and ready to help. One evening, they organised a private barbecue for our group on the terrace, which they fully prepared and cooked themselves. It was a deeply moving gesture, far beyond what we expected. It wasn’t just a meal, it was a beautiful moment of connection and generosity that we will never forget. The rooms are spotless, fully equipped, with excellent bedding, and the breakfast is delicious, varied, and abundant. We left with tears in our eyes and hearts full of gratitude. A huge thank you to Herdal, Ali, and the entire team for making our stay so special. We 100% recommend Azalea Terrace ! and we truly hope to come back soon.

Very basic, no fancy cave hotel, but had anything you need for a nice stay. Perfect for Budget travel It was right in the city and you were able to walk to a lot of places. It has a roof terrace from where you can watch the hot air balloons at sunrise. It was nice and quiet. The room was clean and had a big comfy bed. Overall it was very basic, but our host was a nice guy and would have helped with anything. Interesting with the wet room shower.. means that you don't have a real shower, but just the shower head in the bathroom and everything will get wet. The little kitchen you could use to cook something was very tiny and looked not super nice so we did not use it. But maybe other travellers who are also into backpacker accommodations are more okay with it.

You get what you pay for. Location is great, it has a nice terrace and you can cook some modest dish in the kitchen. If you get a big room your stay will be more pleasant, if you get the small ones it is gonna be hard to sleep because of the heat, nothing that couldn't be solved with a fan, if they had one. The cleaning can be improved, there is dust, and trash under the beds. Also communication with the personnel on site was quite complicated, due to their little understanding of English.

They let us check in earlier You get what they say on booking, but I think during summer can be a bit hard without no AC

On 30/12/2023. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR LIFE. FYI, it is just an apartment with couple of rooms to rent. The place was smelling like “You left a trash pin for 3 years” 🤮 We booked a room but they give you a different place with different photos Room space too small and uncomfortable. Toilet with no door and no shower. Bed sheets had stains. Just because we arrived after midnight we stayed otherwise we wouldnt stay for a second there. We woke up and checked out. We ran away for our lives. The host and his friend behaves really weird.

Bad place to stay, toilet door is transparncy , no clothes contour , no fridge , no aircondition or fan
Al E — Google review
The room was clean and quite, everything works perfectly. The bed was amazing! We slept like a baby the whole time. The other special thing about the stay the hospitality of the stafd and also the roof top terrace with barbecue. We cooked a lot and they helped us a lot with everything. We would definitely stay here again if we are back!

Lovely 2 day experience. Mustafa(the host)was super friendly, had great advice on how to make the most of our stay and was super accommodating: he kept our bags and even let us have a shower well past our checkout time. The rooms are clean and the location is ideal:city center! Little plus:having breakfast on the balcony with a view. Highly recommended :)

Serviced accommodation
Nestled in the captivating Cappadocia Urgup Goreme regions, Family Cave Suite Hotel offers sincere guidance on cave hotels, suites, tours, transfers, and hot air balloon flights. This family-run mini hotel boasts well-decorated and cozy rooms that provide a unique cave experience. Despite limited sunlight due to its cave nature, the rooms offer a naturally blacked-out environment for restful sleep.
This is a family run mini hotel with only three rooms. Rooms are well decorated and cosy. Due to cave nature, rooms do not have much sunlight but this is a good side as it naturally blacked out and sleeps well in there. Breakfast is simple, but decent. Overall gives a live-like-a-local experience. Owner is very helpful and always smiling.

Family owned hotel, very cozy atmosphere and big and clean rooms. We felt welcomed here 😌 ☺️
Ilaria — Google review
We had a wonderful time here. The cave room was a very unique experience. The room had a heater which allowed it to be very cozy even tho surrounded by rock. A very nice breakfast with bread, 8 kinds of jams and honey. Cheeses, olives, etc. The owner speaks good German and ok English.
Kyle K — Google review
Please don't get confused with the rating and pictures. This hotel is not of that quality. But the reception staff, Yasar was wonderfully co-operative guy. The hotel doesn't have any facility of a good hotel, no restaurant, no pool etc. No heater in room at almost minus degree centigrade temperature. Not worthy, whatever the price tag is.
Saif S — Google review
They don't accept international cards and insist on cash with no warning. Rooms are clean and spacious but damp with no ventilation. Our items got wet in the cupboard after 24 hours. Breakfast room enclosed and dark with no view over balloons. Friendly service staff. Unhelpful owner with very minimal English understanding. Wi-fi very weak. Dissapointing
Liezel E — Google review
Excellent newly renovated rooms. The hotel itself has only 3 rooms and is run by a really great family. They are ready to assist in anyway possible. The breakfast is fresh and peaceful. I can not speak highly enough about this place. Try it and see for yourself.

Literally living in a cave... the most unique experience. The bathroom even had a private heated marble bed for hammam. The only downside was the dust.
Aly S — Google review
Yashar is the owner of the hotel. He is a kind man. At night, we camped in the courtyard of the Gormeh Mosque, and during the day, we lent our four backpacks to Yashar for free. Thank you Yashar

Nestled in Goreme, Happydocia Pension Hotel is conveniently located near Urgup and offers free Wi-Fi, a pool, and quick check-in/check-out. It's an ideal retreat for nature enthusiasts as it's close to Goreme National Park. The individual rooms feature private bathrooms with essential amenities like soap and towels. Each room is equipped with a heater and a fan for comfort. The hotel boasts a well-stocked kitchen on the terrace along with two refrigerators for guests' use.
Very cozy place in the best area of Göreme, right off the center but still very cozy and quiet. The inner yard is green and full of flowers, rooms are clean. But the best part is the owner and his friends and family. I felt very welcome there from the first minute of my stay. Because of this, I didn't feel like a tourist but more like when you visit some friends. I can highly recommend this place to anyone!

With the Happydocia staff we felt like home or rather among a group of friends. They helped us with any reservations and gave us many tips about the area. They even offered us a pleasant barbecue evening together with other guests on the terrace of the hostel making us taste typical dishes and drinks of their culture. We highly recommend this place. Loved it. Very kind host that helped us with everything that we needed. Perfect location if you want to explore Cappadocia. Would definitely book again.

We went to Happydocia recommended by our family who also stayed there a few weeks ago. The place is quiet, peaceful environment, cozy room, and cozy bed (It was like sleeping in a cloud :D), clean room, clean bathroom, towels and sheets. They have one patio...one at the entrance with beautiful and green garden, where you can have tea or coffee for free :) and also at the terrace they have a kitchen with everything you need to cook. The Host Yunus was super friendly and chill, we enjoyed our balloons tour earlier in the morning and his company and chat was a highlight of our trip. We are really thankful about your goods vibes to us! We hope to comeback to Goreme and of course to Happydocia! Great memories! If you are looking for a good price place, quiet and cozy, and where you can cook, this is a good place! Thank you again!

For me it's the best place to stay in Cappadocia - attentive, open and friendly owner; nice, warm and clean rooms. Overall atmosphere of the place feels great. There's a large terrase with a kitchen on the third flour with a decent view on Goreme. You can also watch balloons from there, but it's worth going/driving to see them fullscape. As for the balloons - the owner of the hotel arranges flights with one of the best pilots for a fair minimum price.

The hostel is clean, cheap and super cool. There is a terrace and a kitchen that we can use 24/7 and Erkan, the owner, he helped us a lot and he's so friendly. Recommended 100%

Gaferli Stone House is a charming bed and breakfast located just 2.9 km from Pigeon Valley Uchisar Museum in Goreme. Despite its simplicity, the authentic Cappadocian stone structure offers comfortable rooms with clean bathrooms and a large shower. The highlight of the stay is the homemade breakfast prepared by the owner's wife, featuring addictive fig jam and honey. Guests appreciate the organic produce served at breakfast, all sourced from Ismail Bey's own production.
(Translated by Google) The structure is very simple unlike the many cool hotels in Goreme but it is authentic and characteristic of what Cappadocia is, lots of simplicity, comfortable rooms with clean bathroom and large shower. The highlight is the "homemade" breakfast made by the very kind owner's wife with fig jam and honey that is truly addictive! Another positive note is the location in the center, a few meters from the panoramic point where you can admire the hot air balloons in flight.
