Swiss restaurant
Nestled in a charming industrial setting, Lokal is a delightful eatery that embraces the essence of "wild herbs & firewater." With an inviting terrace, it serves up an impressive array of dishes featuring local ingredients. Diners can indulge in fresh salads bursting with regional herbs and vegetables, alongside Mediterranean-inspired offerings like halloumi with buckwheat and chickpeas. The menu also includes hearty burgers topped with whiskey-cheese sauce and vegetarian delights such as chana masala curry.
Very nice local restaurant, with creative kitchen and good wine suggestions. We had a vegi burger and lasagne, both very tasty. And so nicely served... We also enjoyed Davoser blond beer and Sprecher Pinot noir.

Walked in, no reservations and was promptly seated. Delicious soups and salads. The room was cozy and warm after enjoying the day outdoors.
BJL — Google review
The food is not worth the wait, which was over an hour... The staff was very friendly (once they realized it had been an hour since we ordered) and apologized several times, even offering a free coffee at the end. But honestly, the hamburger tasted funny and had a weird consistency. The edamame we ordered as a starter never arrived, and they even tried to charge us for it. When we told the waitress it never came, she was surprised... Anyway, I can only recommend the berries kombucha.
Aurora O — Google review
Excellent food, delicious vegetarian dishes, big portions, real nice taste, good apero drinks, good ragu plate with lots of vegetables, just yummy all over, with real fire side table.
Stockholm F — Google review
Delicious food, friendly staff, good prices. Modern design. A lot of vegetarian and vegan options. Covid-19 measures felt serious and useful. 6 Months later still great.

This is an amazing new place in Davos. Great for a good burger, daily specials and piadina. The homemade tonic is really good and service is very friendly and in English as well. We’ve been there twice for lunch now and will definitely make it a regular stop for a bite to eat.
Edwin L — Google review
Food was amazing, not only the burger but also the salad. Staff was a bit inattentive given the fact that it was almost empty and we had to wait around 1h for the burger. Again a bit long given the fact that it was almost empty. But would go again and the food is really worth it.
Armin W — Google review
Food here was the star - really tasty and all home made. The salmon burger, buddha bowl and grilled salmon were all fantastic. And the roasted garlic with bread was INCREDIBLE. The whisky burger tasted great but the side was either chips, potatoes, kimchi or salad - the burger does not come with any lettuce or salad in at all so I recommend ordering salad instead of having potatoes like I did. That said, we went back for a second meal there and this time I chose salad with my burger and the dressing that comes with it - home made also - was superb. Really nice restaurant to sit in and the staff were good too - especially the tall man (apologies, didn't get his name!).

Cafe
Restaurant
When in Davos, a visit to Kaffee Klatsch am Platz is a must for a delightful culinary experience. This charming Alpine cafe offers a diverse menu of beverages and dishes, catering to various tastes with options like coffee and cake in the afternoon, hearty breakfasts in the morning, and pizza and cocktails in the evening. The cafe also provides vegan and vegetarian choices.
If you are hungry, this is a good place to eat. Despite the name it’s a full restaurant menu. The food is tasty, I had a Swiss Burger with Fries which was pretty large and very typical Swiss cooking. You eat hamburgers here with a knife and fork and not your hands! It has a small outside seating garden which is cozy and the traffic is not so bad, so reasonably peaceful, especially compared to other outdoor seating in the area. They need more sun shades as about half the outside seating was shaded and it’s hot now, so if I didn’t have a shaded spot I would have left. So likely losing quite a few customers this way at least at midday in the heat. Outside tables should have a fresh coat of paint. Hence 3 stars on the atmosphere. The inside is modern, new and has comfortable seating. The person I ordered from was actually Swiss and knowledgeable providing a pleasant experience. Prices are reasonable for Davos.
Peter M — Google review
Decent coffee, but I wish they have more vegan and gluten free treats, even it’s some nuts or dried fruits. I am changing my review and add, now they have gluten free cakes (chestnut cake and Brownie - both delicious!) and matcha 🍵 latte! Definitely come more often! Thank you
Natasha K — Google review
Amazing food, cozy atmosphere and relatively close to Bolgen. The price is not cheap but the quality and portions make up for that every time. Great for kids too with a dedicated play room
Fambestera — Google review
I ordered a Latte Macchiato with haselnut aroma & a brownie. I was very surprised that the brownie was made with toasted almond slivers. It was one of the best brownies I‘ve ever tasted, I‘ll surely bake it with almonds instead of walnuts from now on 😅 it was a 10/10 experience!

A Cozy Coffee Haven in Davos - Kaffee Klatsch am Platz in Davos is a delightful spot that effortlessly combines a warm ambiance, a decent team, and a satisfying cup of coffee. Nestled in the heart of the city, this coffee haven has become a favored destination for my family, friends, and me. Thank you, Kaffee Klatsch!
Hassan A — Google review
Not often publishing reviews but I wanted to share my experience from today and extend a heartfelt thank you to the young blonde waitress (sorry for the description, unfortunately I don’t know her name) who truly stood out for her helpfulness and professionalism. I’ve been a regular customer at the Kaffee for several years, and today I accidentally left my AirPods case there. I confirmed via the Find My app that they were still at the Kaffee, near the cash register. Since I didn’t have much time before catching my train, I returned as soon as I could to retrieve them. Unfortunately, it was a rainy day and the café was extremely busy. I first spoke with the barista, who did check in the drawer near the cash register but said he couldn’t find them and advised me to come back later. He seemed understandably under pressure, so I appreciated that he at least tried but he was rude, not empathic and barely polite. About 30 minutes later, when the rush had calmed down, I returned and asked again, this time at the cash register. The older man with glasses and a gray beard didn’t make any effort to help. When I offered to play the sound from my phone to locate them, he simply told me to leave, showing no interest in assisting me, clearly because I wasn’t making a purchase so he didn’t care at all. It was disappointing and honestly a bit humiliating, especially considering I'm a loyal calm and respectful customer who frequently tips. Thankfully, I didn’t give up and asked immediately one last time by cutting the line, this time at the second register, where the blonde waitress was working. She listened to me and immediately checked the drawer (the same one the barista had looked in earlier) and found my AirPods case in 3 seconds. Simultaneously, I played the sound on my phone to confirm they were mine, and she was kind, efficient, and smiling throughout the entire interaction. It took less than 10 seconds, yet made a huge difference to my day. She truly deserves recognition. She’s consistently friendly, helpful, and professional, whether you're ordering something or not. I’m giving 3 stars overall because of how poorly I was treated by the other staff members, but this waitress turned a frustrating experience into a positive one, and I really hope management takes note of her excellent service and if the attitude of the others is consistently the same, that she leaves to find a better place for herself.

Had nice lunch. Very friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Cool selection of sweets. They do a nice Chai Latte tea. We had Nippon Burger with Teriyaki sauce (this one is rather on the sweet side), Kaffee Klatsch Pasta were ok, Cesar salads were nice.

Montana Stube offers a unique blend of Swiss chalet charm and French bistro elegance, creating a casual yet satisfying dining experience. The menu features a mix of French classics like ratatouille and modern twists on traditional Swiss dishes. Starters include buffalo milk mozzarella and Crudo-covered garlic bread, while entrees range from veal cutlets to gnocchi stuffed with alp cheese.
Montana Stube, the signature restaurant within Hotel Montana, offers an authentic Swiss alpine dining experience in a warm, chalet-style setting. The wood-paneled interior and rustic décor give the place an immediate sense of comfort and tradition. I enjoyed the classic cheese rösti with melted local cheese and crispy bacon—a dish that perfectly captured the flavors of the region. The staff, who also assist hotel guests, were extraordinarily hospitable, providing insights into the culinary heritage and local specialties. Their attentive, welcoming approach created a memorable dinner that felt both gourmet and homely, enhanced by the backdrop of Hotel Montana’s cozy ambiance.

Convenient location by the train station. Authentic interior. Prices are extremely unreasonably high, but the food is good. Service isn’t really great, slow and inattentive.

I had an great dinner here. Very professional service and more over the food.
Adrian H — Google review
We were there only for dinner. It is expensive and doesn't deserve the price. Food was dry and heavy.

Came here on a Friday evening without reservation. The food was exceptional and the staff were friendly. Even though we understand German, they do speak English fluently. Would recommend a reservation if you want to come, though -- the place is central and not very big.
Teodor P — Google review
Good swiss food. You can go there and you would eat a good food anyway.

We loved the food and service. They have gluten free options on the menu.

Visited in November so was full of locals. I must say the menu is very authentic and the ambience 'very allegra' I did not expect this Graubünden ambience in Davos but here we go. We all heartily enjoyed our meals and the attention of the hosts. You have to try the Merengue and cream, thats heaven on the tongue.

The dining experience at Stall Valär is exceptional. The overall design of the restaurant's dining room is impressive, creating a pleasant atmosphere for guests. The service provided by the staff is outstanding, being extremely friendly and attentive. The food served at Stall Valär is remarkable, with delicious flavors that satisfy the taste buds. The salad portion is generous and fresh, perfect for sharing. One must try their local specialty dish called Capuns which also receives high praise.
Charming, traditional and lively alpine design. Excellent and attentive service (Sarah). The food was excellent. Artichokes were cooked perfect with a good aioli sauce. The pork chop was equally good, came with Mac'n Cheese, not my faborite. Good choice of wines. If there is a wish it would be a slightly expanded menu. Have been twice in 10 days.
Tom L — Google review
A wonderful evening! The food was delicious, we had the artichoke, ceviche and roast beef to share, which I can highly recommend and the Stall beef which was cooked to perfection - yum! After dinner we were pretty full so decided on some espresso martini’s instead of dessert! Excellent all round! Thank you, we will definitely be returning!
Nia J — Google review
We used to love coming to Stall Valar. It is still a beautiful place with nice staff. We were very disappointed with the new menu. We used to come here for a steak. Now there is no proper steak on the menu and everything we had was average unfortunately.
Jana M — Google review
Very nice, rustic restaurant with modern takes of alpine cooking. Very well selected and varied wine list. Service is excellent
Daniel R — Google review
I love going to Stall Vallär! Its a safe bet gor a great evening! The team working there is fantastic: friendly, helpful, make jokes with you and knows their menu. Then the food is just incredible. The meat was super tender and you can pick pretty much any item and will be happy. Lastly the atmosphere in the old barn, with wine bottles all around you, is so cozy! It feels like everybody has a space there. Thank you so much to the whole team for this lovely evening once again and I can‘t wait to be back soon!!

Really good food, excellent staff in both the bar and restaurant. Planning to eat there for the fourth time on this 2 week visit to Davos. That's how much we liked it

Outstanding T-Bone steak and a unique dining experience. The steak was exceptionally well-prepared, and the overall atmosphere and service of the restaurant were unparalleled.

Great experience. Great job with the design of the whole dining room, great atmosphere. Service was great, super friendly. Food was on spot, very good flavours. Salad was big enough to share, very fresh! I order the local dish called Capuns, also good! Definitely worth trying this restaurant if you are in Davos, there are other meat dishes that looked very good as well.

Golden Dragon - Asia Restaurant is a Chinese restaurant located in Davos, Switzerland, known for its exceptional and authentic Chinese cuisine. Situated inside the Grischa Hotel, it offers a wide range of traditional Chinese dishes cooked to perfection. The elegant decor adds to the overall dining experience. Customers can expect exotic and flavorful dishes that guarantee an exceptional culinary journey.
Found this place the night before but it was a rest day. Checked reviews and all said it was excellent and I have to agree. The food was really good and was very well priced compared to other places in Davos where a typical Burger and Fries will set you back 30 - 36 chf. An courses were about 38 with rice and the portions were huge. The dim sum starter for 10.50chf is a steal and highly recommend. The staff were attentive, friendly and efficient with the atmosphere very comfortable but not over done considering it is in the Michelin Guide. All I can say is go and enjoy it. It is a must.
Graham S — Google review
After a week plus of German/ Austrian food I was craving for something from home. This place didn’t disappoint. Exceptional roast duck. Thank you to the chef who gave me a small dish of homemade garlic chili sauce when he found out I was from Singapore. It really hit home 😭
C H — Google review
I rate the take away service: You can order by phone daily until 5 pm. You have the entire menu to choose from. You have to decide whether you want to pick up your food at 6pm or 8pm. Other timeslots are also possible after consultation. I chose the 8pm option. I was there at 19:45 and had to wait until 20:00, the food is not ready a minute earlier. I was there on a vacation, so the place was very busy and the staff were under stress. Maybe they are more relaxed outside of the vacations. The food was basically good but not 10/10. the fried rice was 7/10. the chicken sezchuan was very good 10/10. the chicken curry was a disappointment 3/10. the brittle beef was solid 8/10. the spring rolls are great. The restaurant is of a good standard. I prefer the atmosphere in the restaurant, it's great there. The option to have takeaway is very good and recommended, but you can't have it spontaneously, you have to plan in advance and pick it up exactly on the time slot. Worth mentioning: the portions are very large, good value for money
Alexander A — Google review
I have been to many restaurants that claim to be authentic Chinese food, but Golden Dragon is the only one that delivered. I was blown away by the food and service. All of the staff were very welcoming and helpful. They were also very fast with service and the food was absolutely delicious. The highlight dish for me was their dumplings as well as their roasted duck. Highly recommend for a family dinner!
Tatiana Y — Google review
food was excellent, even my dad who generally dislikes chinese food enjoyed it. very welcoming, all stuff is very kind. portuguese staff was particularly nice and made us feel very at home. beautiful ambience, very cozy. if i return to Davos i will return to the restaurant.
Camila M — Google review
Golden Dragon offers a refined escape into Asian flavours in the heart of Davos, combining Chinese and Japanese cuisine. From the moment I walked in, the stylish wood-and-brick décor set a cosy yet elegant tone. I opted for sushi starters and followed with a memorable Peking duck main course—prepared expertly and served family style in several courses. Service was attentive, professional, and bilingual, ensuring clear explanation of spice levels and preparation techniques. The ambience strikes a nice balance between upscale dining and relaxed comfort, making it ideal for both a sophisticated dinner and a casual night out after skiing or sightseeing.
Davide R — Google review
Family meal, attentive staff, nice welcome, food was excellent. They made special delicious meals for a person with a MSG sensivity, great! Just ask in advance. We'll be back again soon 😊

Steakhouse Ochsen is a delightful culinary gem nestled in Davos Platz, celebrated for its unique dining experience featuring individual hot stones that allow guests to cook their choice of premium meats right at the table. The menu boasts an impressive selection, including venison, lamb, Swiss rib-eye, bison, and even zebra filet—each available in generous portions ranging from 180 to 400 grams. Diners can complement their meal with delicious sides like grilled vegetables and house-made spaetzle.
Typical Swiss style restaurant. Meat served on stone, very good. Wide choice menu, fast and friendly service. Prices in Swiss average.
Laura C — Google review
Nothing particularly special, and the experience can best be described as underwhelming. The service is barely OK and very slow, even though the place was practically empty. Having to grill your own meat on a hot plate by the table side in a high-end steakhouse is disappointing, to say the least. Having zebra meat on the menu is a bit unsettling, especially for the uninitiated. Prices are way too high, but then again, that's the norm in Davos.
Michael S — Google review
dinner in Davos. As a meat 🥩 lover, there is no way around Restaurant Ochsen. The “Hot Stone” is the classic. I recommend ostrich fillet 😋 The ambience is great. The staff very friendly. The service is very quick. Have fun eating out 😁
Markus B — Google review
The novelty of the hot stone wears off pretty quickly. The set up just makes it awkward to eat. I did enjoy the peppercorn sauce. The steaks were fairly good but the sides were poor. I think the lighting is obnoxious.
Shaun I — Google review
Amazing steak, served on their signature lava stone, very good service, I love the fact they put a bib on you!
Richie G — Google review
Restaurant Ochsen is one of Davos Platz’s long-established venues, known for its authentic Swiss cuisine served in a warm and welcoming alpine setting. I visited for dinner during winter and enjoyed the cozy wooden décor with traditional alpine accents and a friendly, attentive atmosphere. I ordered their well-known fondue Chinoise, which was carefully prepared and served with generous portions of sauces, fresh salads, and side dishes. The meat quality and presentation were excellent. The staff were professional and kind, creating a relaxed and well-organized dining experience, ideal for couples, families, or groups seeking a traditional Swiss evening.

Even during a large event as WEF, Ferdinand and his staff were able to find a table for me. The service was outstanding and the food delicious and exceptional. Worth visit to the restaurant with spectacular views of Davos and the surrounding mountains day or night.

We had planned our trip to end at the restaurant at around 16:00 to grab something to eat. We arrived at 16:10 and they informed us the kitchen was closed (even though it says it closes at 17:00 on their website). Kinda ruined the evening. Edit: As a reply to Paulo, it is a shame your closing time is completely arbitrary and completely ignored what my review was about!

What a perfect restaurant. From the owner to the staff and, of course, the food, everything was perfect. Authentic Italian food served with genuine love. Highly recommended.

Padrino Davos delivers a warm and authentic Italian trattoria experience right in the center of Davos Platz. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, with rustic décor and a touch of traditional Italian charm. I visited for dinner and tried their house-made tagliolini with truffle sauce — simple, aromatic, and rich in flavor, showcasing genuine Italian ingredients and skilled preparation. The staff were warm, conversational, and provided attentive service while maintaining a casual, welcoming tone. It’s the kind of place where both locals and visitors feel at ease, whether for a cozy dinner, a relaxed lunch, or a meal with friends.
Davide R — Google review
Good pizza, but service is mediocre at best. Most waiters, except for their senior, simply ignore me. They seem to be temp workers who don't care about their customers. The senior waiter was giving a good service, but since he's alone for all interactions with customers, he's always busy. Not recommended for single persons and couples. And there are other pizzerias in Davos who make as good pizzas, but with better service for everyone. About prices, as long as there's no fresh seafood, it's a decent price, a bit on the upper range though. It's the cost for quality. But simple entry dishes like green lettuce salad and soup of the day are overpriced, like twice the price you would pay in the nearest Coop restaurant.
Gourry G — Google review
I got the pizza with ham and it was Delicious! Will certainly come back.
Yai V — Google review
We ordered the garlic bread and two pizzas Margherita. Both things were amazing, you can see how they cook everything and it's pretty clear out of the hectic work that the ingredients are all fresh. Waiting times are reasonable and prices according to the area.
Lucila S — Google review
Service was fast and good. The 2 pizzas that we ordered were very tasty and I will definitely try them once more. BUT 17 Euro for a caprese that's cheating. A small piece of mozzarella and one tomato. I know that everything in Switzerland is overpriced but let's get serious at some point
Nikolas D — Google review
Very poor. Terrifble service. They don't answer the phone so I went to order pizza for takeaway. They told me come to collect in 40 minutes. I just went back, on time. The order is at the bottom of the pile, they haven't started making it and told me to come back in 40 minutes. The pizzas are tiny and cost 25 chf. I was buying dinner to thank the family hosting me. To go home without food is very embarrassing. Avoid this restaurant, total lack of care or professionalism. Typical overpriced ski resort opportunistic exploitation.

Came here for a work dinner. Was a great course meal - was stuffed by the end. Each course was well prepared and of great quality. Cost is not cheap but worth going.

I go to this beautiful restaurant quite often as i live close by and appreciate good food. Love everything about this place- the atmosphere, the service and of course the food! Chef has an excellent taste! Service is attentive, waiters are very friendly and professional. Wine selection is very good, also there is an exceptional selection of Swiss cheeses in the menu. Don’t forget to spoil yourself with Crêpes Suzette prepared tableside! My favourite restaurant in Davos!

Foie gras and beef was cooked with port wine sauce and black truffle mushrooms was extremely delicious, not easy to forget. Grilled cauliflower with walnuts and the dessert also incredible. Salmon snacks and handmade bread with salty butter are served before the main dishes. We were totally satisfied, Very kind staff, thank you.

The extrablatt sign made us think it was a bowling or a fast food. We came for dinner the 8 of us, after a long day skiing and it was not a good idea! The service was really long, after 1h30 of waiting I asked when the meals were going to arrive and the waiter was surprised. The food was overall ok, again in Switzerland it is never amazing for the price. The bread, butter made us wait for dear god, it was really a long wait. We skipped dessert to be ready for the next day of skiing. The decoration looks nice inside but doesn’t worth the wait!

A great dinner right in Davos created a fantastic end to our ski trip. A lot of locals eating here, always a good sign. I would recommend this for great Swiss food.

Extrablatt Davos offers a modern and casual dining experience right on the main Promenade. I visited for a light lunch and found the atmosphere lively yet comfortable, with large windows that allow plenty of natural light and a relaxed urban design. The menu is international, combining Swiss classics with burgers, salads, and pasta. I ordered the Caesar salad with grilled chicken, which was fresh, well-presented, and satisfying. The staff were attentive, efficient, and spoke multiple languages, making communication easy. Whether for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a casual drink, Extrablatt works well for a wide variety of occasions in a very central location.

Nestled in Davos Dorf, Chesa Seehof is a cozy and casual restaurant that offers a taste of authentic Graubunden and Swiss cuisine. Located within Hotel Seehof, the restaurant serves up classic dishes with a modern twist, including Chef Style veal slices and veal sausage with buttered rosti and onion sauce. The menu also features international options alongside traditional local favorites like barley soup.
(Translated by Google) One of the best burgers I've eaten in Switzerland. The meat is 100% lean beef, thick and juicy. The portion of fries is very generous. In summer, only the terrace is worth a visit; the interior dining room has rather unappealing lighting.

Unfortunately, despite the waitress's efforts, the dinner was a huge disappointment. The waiting time for the main course was over an hour, we didn't get one dessert. The food was average. The tables weren't cleaned regularly. It seems that there are too few staff and they don't keep up with their work.
Katarzyna Z — Google review
Chesa Seehof offers an extraordinary dining experience. The venison dish was a culinary masterpiece, with flavors that lingered delightfully. The restaurant's historical ambiance created a captivating backdrop, immersing diners in a bygone era. Attentive service complemented the delectable menu, enhancing the overall enjoyment. From the first bite to the last, Chesa Seehof proved to be a gastronomic journey through time, leaving a lasting impression. Whether you're a history enthusiast or a food connoisseur, this establishment seamlessly combines the best of both worlds. An unforgettable evening that I highly recommend to anyone seeking a perfect blend of exquisite flavors and cultural richness. Chesa Seehof truly stands out as a gem in the world of fine dining.

(Translated by Google) Unfortunately, this restaurant hasn't improved under the new ownership. The staff doesn't speak German and has limited English. The menu was also too complicated, so the staff didn't know anything about spirits or the local non-alcoholic beer and preferred to serve nothing instead of the wrong thing. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it...

(Translated by Google) Our visit was disappointing. It seems to be the last season of the listless director, Mr. Homberger. He did the service himself. Too little money for staff? At first the tables were dirty and full of grains of salt. Then we were served unfriendly: While my wife was still eating, my plate was already cleared away. The Seehof's finances must be in bad shape if you have to evacuate guests as quickly as possible. When paying with a card there was no please or thank you. The manager seemed to suspect that the service wasn't enough for tips. He said: Did you sleep badly? Wow, service! Food was mediocre. You can clearly see that savings have to be made everywhere at the Seehof.

(Translated by Google) The bar is super modern and well equipped. The fireplace area is very warm and warmly furnished, wooden tables & chairs, beautifully decorated, piano, comfortable lounge chairs, sofas, lots of cushions, huge glass windows towards the village/skating rink/mountains. The food and tea tasted really good. I would like to highlight the hostess, she served us soooooo friendly and nice, as if she were the owner of the Hotel Seehof. The visit was the highlight of our Davos visit. (Translated by Google) I'd like to start with some positives... but it's impossible given the shocking experience. We waited forever for service even though there were no other guests. The service didn't speak German, didn't know the menu, and was completely incompetent. A drink wasn't available; the waiter didn't ask what else we wanted, but said there was nothing for this guest. When we asked, we were told, "Unfortunately, that wasn't available," and asked if he would like something else. Every other plate was missing something. Truly sad, in addition to the prices quoted.

Nestled in the picturesque landscape of Klosters, Berghaus Alte Schwendi offers a delightful culinary experience that truly embodies the essence of the Alps. The menu features comforting dishes like Alplermaccaronen, crispy rösti topped with saffron yolked eggs, and warm apple strudel, all served in a charming setting reminiscent of traditional Alpine chalets.
This place is the best. Best overall atmosphere and food in all of Davos/ Klosters. Friendly staff, great vibe. Even when it's a challenge to ski to, it's worth the trip! Look forward to my next visit.

Beautiful environment, the reservation worked without problems, the service was very nice, we received food within couple minutes. The food was very good. For me as a vegetarian it was a great surprise curry with tofu which was delicious. I really appreciated that Alte Schwendi was the only restaurant where they offered me honey to sweeten my tea. Thank you for a great experience.

One of the best places to eat in the parsenn area. Also really good to enjoy the sun and some drinks.
João C — Google review
The rating does not reflect the food or service in general, but rather reflects the attitude they have towards clients once they have eaten. We had a lovely meal and subsequently waited 5 minutes for a friend to join for a drink. We were asked to leave and get back in line and wait, as we had been there for 1hr while eating and drinking. Now, it way be news to me, but I don't recall a 1hr time limit on having lunch or not being permitted to have coffee and drinks after lunch with a friend. Unfortunately it is yet again another example of particular establishments not recognizing who is the client. A friendly reminder that we pay for service, not attitude. Just note that you are unwelcome at this place beyond 1hr. Responding to your comment. There is no Cantonal rule on only being able to be at a restaurant for 1hr. I do understand your view from a business perspective, but perhaps you should let clients know in advance that they are limited to 1hr, and above all, there is a polite way to ask people to leave. As regards expecting me to ask you in advance, that would require me to have a crystal ball to be able to preempt such a reaction. Clearly, if I had such powers, I would use them for more important issues. While you apologise, it is not a genuine apology, as you reject fault and simply shift responsibility on to either the client or the Canton. Again, remember why clients visit your establishment, for a service they pay for, not attitude.

The quality of the food is outstanding, and the views from the restaurant are simply breathtaking. Amazing view, good food, best service in Davos To be honest, Switzerland is famous for high prices and Chalet Guggel is no exception. I had been spending my winter vacations for the past 20 years in Graubünden. Davos is a party place and Jakobshorn is fun. The Chalet has a spectacular view and is the place to be, once you pass the age group of 25 years. I enjoy the food they offer a lot. The service on my last stay was exceptional. I had a small injury and was in terrible pain. Once I was laying down on a sun lounger a waitress named “Marie” spotted my discomfort. While she was servicing my food order, she brought icepacks to my rescue, wanted to help with a first aid help from the ski resort. My pain was going on and she was of great help. What an angel. I stayed for more than three hours and my pain gradually became more bearable. I enjoy the food (pizza or steak) and they offer homemade cake, which is fantastic. On a sunny day ensure to reserve a sun lounger. Spectacular.

Jody’s offers a warm, contemporary alpine experience that blends casual and stylish seamlessly. I visited for evening tapas and was impressed by the Mediterranean flavors—particularly the paella and Iberico ham with artichokes. The atmosphere is lively yet comfortable, with an industrial-modern design featuring wood and wool accents. Seating spans indoor spaces and two terraces—one covered, one open—for a relaxed vibe throughout the day. The staff were friendly and spoke multiple languages, adding personal charm to the meal. It felt like meeting friends in a beautifully designed, unpretentious venue that suits both locals and visitors perfectly.

Ordered some vegetarian and one squid tapas. They tasted very average. The tortilla was small, the fried balls (not sure what is inside) were cold (they brought new ones after we complained) and so was the squid including tough to bite. New review from 2025: visited the place again 5 years later and have to say many things improved. The service is good, quick, efficient. They were still 100% busy at 1030am as people were having breakfast and morning tea / coffee. But we managed to get a table quickly and served quickly. There were improvements on the menu, which we appreciated and everything was still very tasty. Also happy that they are now sourcing 80% of their items from local gemeinde. Original review from 2020: The food variety is good. Actually not bad then you are tired of traditional swiss food. The place is super busy at lunch time. There are only about 3 waiter for 30 tables. They barely are able to get to everyone. Unfortunately often things get forgotten from the order. Maybe just go to the cafe part.

Italian restaurant
Nestled in a charming setting, La Carretta offers an authentic Italian dining experience that transports you back in time. With its classic decor featuring red-and-white checkered tablecloths, the ambiance is as inviting as the menu. Diners can indulge in a variety of traditional dishes ranging from hearty minestrone soup and delicate beef carpaccio to creamy risottos and tortellini.
Husband and I searched for dinner for a while on google but walked past this place on the way to our BNB. So we decided to try it out. The place wasn't busy at the time, but most tables had reservations, so I can only assume we beat the dinner rush. Being only English speaking visitors, the menus can be a bit overwhelming at restaurants, but our waiter was so kind and helpful with explaining items and clarifying on any questions we had. He was patient and brought us a small starter to snack on while we were looking. He recommended a sweeter white wine that I loved after asking some questions. We both started with the green salads, very simple but yummy. My husband got the chefs choice spaghetti with mussels and clams and I ordered the homemade lasagna. Both meals were so delicious. You are also served some bread before meals arrive as well, which was also yummy. We ordered dessert as well, he had a scoop of vanilla ice cream, simple haha, and I tried the Tartufo and it had some fruit garnish and was amazing. At the end of dinner he brought us little lemon cello shots to finish! The restaurant vibe was cozy. Photos all over the wall of politicians and athletes with the owner and chef (I believe?), were a joy to browse. Overall, was an amazing experience. 10/10

La Carretta offers one of the most authentic Italian dining experiences right in the heart of Davos Platz. I visited for dinner and was warmly welcomed by the owners, who create a very personal and homely atmosphere. The menu features classic Italian comfort dishes prepared with care and attention to detail. I ordered the fresh homemade tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, which was perfectly al dente and rich in flavor. The service was attentive but informal, creating a very relaxed and enjoyable experience. The atmosphere feels genuinely Italian, warm, and friendly — a great place for both regular meals and special evenings.

A very nice restaurant, the staff was very friendly and the pizza was ready in minutes and very delicious. The inside is very cosy with a lot of decoration and photos all over the walls. Generous with toppings and some free garlic bread as appetizer, I for sure recommend to eat here if you want some great Italian food!

I had the beef entrecôte and my wife had the lamb one (pictured). Both were simply amazing! I had a sauce to go with the beef but I did not need to use it. The quality of both meats was exceptional, tender, tasty and cooked to perfection (med/rare). It was served just with the right amount of vegetables and rösti (a really good match) on a very hot plate. The service was also great. (I am in no way affiliated with the restaurant, in fact I found all the photos across its walls of the owner shaking hands with every possible vip possible, including at least 2 US presidents and every F1 driver you’ve heard of a bit cheesy but the little food we had was top class! To think that we were not even that hungry goes to show…)

Service: Took ages to take the order, we asked several times for stuff, never took away finished bottles and several glasses. Food: Forgot dishes we ordered. The signature dish „Falsche Schnecken“ seemed unreal, tiny portion of meat leftovers and highly overpriced. All in all really disappointing, even more since it was pricy.

Food took 1h20m to come. The excuse was that there was a large group downstairs which is fair but also not something my group should be penalized for. The food was ok: the tenderloin was great, the cote de boeuf was really good, the T-bone overcooked. The bone mare mediocre and the venison... well not sure it was delivered. Overall they tried but didn't deliver and didn't try to make up for it other than saying sorry. Maybe next time.

Our company of 10 was stood out as large. The atmosphere was great and the ambient volume not too loud. We had an excellent experience of our visit at Pot-au-feu.

Located on the Jakobshorn mountain in Davos, Jatzhütte is a popular apres-ski spot offering a lively atmosphere and stunning views. The mountain restaurant features daily opportunities to dance to international DJs and live music acts, making it the perfect place to unwind after a day on the slopes. With over 100 reclining chairs and two open-air jacuzzis on its large terrace, Jatzhütte provides an ideal setting for relaxation.
This was the perfect stop during a ski day in Davos. The views were amazing, the music was a great vibe. The food good and the drinks even better. I would highly recommend spending an hour or so on the lounge chairs staring off into the distance

Place to be in Davos if you are on the slopes! Enjoy the day with a bed (CHF25 a day) and soak up the view, the vibes and the drinks. A must visit for apres ski before going to back to the village.

Really nice mountain hut. It's a bar, a restaurant, a viewing platform of the amazing view and an outdoor club. Service is extremely quick. Food was good, lots of vegetarian options. Nice music with a DJ. Two even. Bad ventilation inside, but it's outside that counts with the views anyway. Just maybe wear a mask when you go to the toilet if you like to live long.

Amazing place to enjoy up there, very delicious food, good music and very friendly staff. Also some Whirlpools and lots of Sunbeds to just chill or take a nap.

Jatzhütte is one of the most iconic mountain huts in Davos, perfectly located right at the top of Jakobshorn. I visited during the winter season after a great morning on the slopes. The panoramic views from the large outdoor terrace are absolutely spectacular, with sweeping views over Davos and the surrounding alpine peaks. I ordered a classic bratwurst with rösti — simple, perfectly grilled, and full of flavor — exactly what you want after skiing. The atmosphere is energetic but relaxed, with a fun après-ski vibe starting already from lunchtime. The staff were friendly and very efficient, handling the busy crowd professionally while keeping service quick and smooth.

Great location in the center of Davos. Nice decoration and good selection of drinks. Vibe is amazing! Unfortunately, card payments aren't possible. The bouncers should also ensure that people who are too drunk are thrown out of the pub.

We were rudely kicked out by an extremely unpleasant worker (the curly-haired one) at 18:54 just because the table was reserved for 19:30. She didn’t even apologize—she literally said it was our fault. She knew there were no other empty tables, so she essentially threw us out of the bar while our glasses were still half full...

Nice place in Davos Platz. You can get drinks and even food until the early mornings. There is also a Dj who provides some random music. So you can also stay just for a first drink before foing somewhere else or you can have dinner combined with drinks, or you can even come at 3 in the morning and just grab some amazing chicken nuggets (also delicious when sober) that will save you and prevent or reduce your hangover on the next day 😉 ah yeah, there is a table soccer available as well

Sushi restaurant
Leonto sushi & more in Davos is renowned for offering the finest Italian cuisine with lovingly prepared dishes made from the freshest ingredients. The chefs take great pride in presenting high-quality, artfully crafted meals to ensure every guest's satisfaction. While some patrons found the sushi and sashimi to be of excellent quality, others noted unusual combinations like parmesan on top and Philadelphia inside.
Leonto Davos offers a refined and modern Mediterranean dining experience right in the heart of Davos Platz. The interior is stylish, combining elegant design with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. I visited for dinner and was impressed by the excellent quality of both food and service. I ordered the grilled octopus and sea bass fillet, both of which were beautifully presented and perfectly cooked. The flavors were fresh, delicate, and well balanced, highlighting the kitchen’s focus on high-quality ingredients. The staff were friendly, professional, and provided attentive service throughout the meal. The restaurant feels sophisticated yet unpretentious, perfect for both casual fine dining and special occasions.

Honestly 4 stars for the sushi itself. Restaurant with very cold atmosphere in colors and funciunarios. I did not feel welcome. But it's worth it for the super fresh food.
David — Google review
The sushi itself is good and the fish is thickly sliced, which is fantastic. However, the ambiance is all off, there is only one type of sake and it is served lukewarm/room temperature. It is also rather pricey. If you’re craving Asian food up here, I suggest going to the Chinese restaurant literally down the hall instead.
Nine T — Google review
The chef is very good, nice sashimi and quality cuts although there is one weird sushi with both parmesan on top and philadephia inside?? There are some other more typical Westernized stuff but they were still tasty. Don't order the sake. They don't serve it the correct temperature which is recommended on the bottle itself + they only had one or two options. The staff was a bit lost and confused, which is weird considering there were only 3 occupied tables. All in all there are better places to eat in Davos but if you're craving sushi, I recommend it.
Val — Google review
If you are used from any city to average sushi. Thing at a cheap forgettable place. This is the quality of the food. Now thing at Nobu this are the prices. The ambient is OK but it is 7 and we are the only guests inside the 2 room restaurant. But at the beginning their so delusional to ask if you have a reservation lol

Honestly was expecting a nice New Years dinner and everything was missing. Our table wasn’t prepared, serving spoons missing… forks missing… we didn’t even get our wine until we were done eating! Although the staff apologized, this service was outrageously terrible. For a New Years event one would expect a nice dinner, yet we were faced with problems after problems. I am shocked by how poor the service and staff are, unbelievable, definitely not recommending this to anyone!

Bas D — Google review
Disappointing food and dismissive staff. We have visited the place on a Saturday afternoon. It was reasonably empty and cosy, with an oompa band playing on the loudspeaker system. The fact that it was so empty, while being one of the few places open at this time in Davos should have been a warning for us. The doorman, checking the COVID certificates, was kind enough to make fun of the names of a few people in our group. We should have turned our backs then. But we, three adults and two young children were freezing to the bone and longing for a warm meal. As we were hungry, we were told that despite the front sign saying that kitchen is open from 11 am till the evening, at 15:20 there is no cook and no possibility of eating anything, until someone comes. We waited for about fifteen minutes, more or less. When we started leaving, the kitchen miraculously reopened. We ordered two chicken soups, pizza Margherita (limp, undercooked and generally very sad), schnitzel (possibly precooked and frozen, as it has the taste, moisture and texture of a cardboard), as well as two burgers, local specialty. Burgers and schnitzel we served with fries, which were steaming hot, crispy, golden, and delicious. But this was the only really good thing about this meal. Chicken soup (with pancake noodles, which would be a nice spin, of they were properly executed) was superheated, which makes it very likely it was microwaved. The waiter spilled one over the table and the saucer, but was unconcerned, simply serving it to a young kid, possibly hoping to blame the mess on them. The burgers came on a decent bun, with possibly an ounce of a cabbage salad, named Coleslaw, but having little to do with its namesake. The salad was tasty, albeit small. The burger however comprised a sad puck of meat, with a rubber texture, which looked and tasted like a factory-made, flash frozen burgers. We were assured these are freshly made, but if they were, it is not a credit to the restaurant. The burger patty was moist, not juicy, and uniformly, sadly gray. And perfectly cylindrical. I liked the dressing, though the other burger consumer was not happy with the amount of onion in the burger. These were pretty much all the worthwhile options on the menu. The food quality was appalling and certainly not worth the price. We did not get food poisoning, but also have no pleasant memories of the food either. Service, while smiling and generally friendly, was absolutely nonplussed by the customers and their reservations, possibly bring aware of their near-monopolist position. The fries were good, though.
Marcin S — Google review
Terrible service, just went to the bar to ask to order and the bartender, just said in a terrible attitude, she would come outside and that we have only just got here... Not a good start for a new customer. Been waiting now 25 minutes for flammkuchen... After being told it would be 10 minutes. Flammkuchen was nice, Service rubbish

Mediocre service, forgot the wine in our order, never came and we gave up. 1.5 hours dinner for a schnitzel and very small and tasteless soup is not normal, even if they did mention the service would be slow, overall Price/quality not good. Not the worst restaurant but wouldn’t recommend it!!

We went for dinner and had fondue for two people . The location is really nice and stylish , however the prices are incredible for really nothing . The fondue cost each person 36 CHF , together 72 CHF! and we only had one very little cheese fondue which is usually for one person. Other than we had the remains of potato and bread. For water we paid 8.5 CHF. Only got the crusts. In general it was a disappointing experience and not worth the money .

(Translated by Google) My visit to the fine-dining restaurant Apollo in the Hotel Grischa in Davos was an incomparable experience that highlighted each of the five artfully created courses. From the very beginning it was clear that the kitchen of the house works at the highest level, both in technical precision and in the creative interpretation of the dishes. The combination of high-quality, regional ingredients and international finesse elevated the dinner to a level worthy of a Michelin star. The first course was a masterpiece in the balance between sweetness and freshness. The Breton lobster, perfectly prepared, was tender and yet full-bodied in taste. It was accompanied by a cool but deeply aromatic Kiduler Gazpacho. The play of textures through the gently incorporated zucchini and the subtle aniseed note of the fennel gave the dish a harmonious lightness. The lobster, cooked to perfection, blended the sweetness of the sea with the earthy freshness of the vegetables and herbs. A start that immediately gave a foreshadowing of what was to follow: culinary perfection The sea bass, prepared according to the traditional “Ike Jime” method, brought an extraordinary sophistication to the plate not only through its texture, but also through its incomparably pure taste. The calamaretti in the deeply aromatic sea bouillon harmonized perfectly with the fish, while the cauliflower, both in cream and in its original form, enhanced the earthy notes of the dish. Each bite was like a trip to the sea, with an emphasis on the umami depth of the broth and the freshness of the fish. The interplay of flavors was a wonderful example of skilful simplicity implemented at the highest level of craftsmanship. The third course was a tribute to regionality, with a braised shoulder of Davos Wagyu that fell apart with tenderness. The young spinach brought a welcome freshness, while the parsley root espuma added a wonderful creaminess and subtle spice. The chanterelles provided an earthy contrast and rounded off the dish perfectly. What was particularly impressive was the balance between the heaviness of the braised meat and the light, almost airy companions. This was where the true art of the kitchen was on display: a dish that was both down-to-earth and luxurious, revealing new facets with every bite. The fourth course brought a symbiosis of elegance and rusticity to the plate with the Iberico pork. The fillet was tender and juicy, while the cheek had a braised, almost caramelized texture. The gremolata gave the dish a fresh, lemony note that beautifully complemented the rich flavors of the pork. The artichokes and pepperoni provided a Mediterranean touch and brought a harmonious interplay of bitterness and sweetness into play. Every element of the dish was on point, and the flavors told the story of a perfect craft that focused on the quality of the product. The conclusion of the menu was an ode to lightness. The Davos yogurt, mild and creamy, met the fresh crunch of pickled celery and the aromatic spice of Thai basil. The tartness of the Granny Smith apple brought freshness and balance which rounded out the menu beautifully. The flavors were clear, light and yet excitingly complex. This dessert was not a classic sweet ending, but a thoughtful finale that refreshed the senses and elegantly ended the meal. Dinner at Apollo was not just a meal, but a journey through flavors, textures and stories that reached new heights with every forkful. Each dish was perfectly balanced, not only in taste and texture but also in its presentation. The combination of regional products with modern cuisine that meets the Michelin standard.

Each course was well-thought-out, exquisitely flavorful, and a highlight in its own right. The sequence of dishes was harmoniously structured, providing the perfect drama for the evening. The wine pairing was equally perfect: carefully selected, perfectly matched to the individual dishes, and thus a wonderful complement to the menu. The service lived up to the high standards you've come to expect at Grischa – attentive, friendly, competent, and well-informed. You feel completely cared for without it being intrusive. In conclusion: An evening full of indulgent moments that you won't soon forget. The Apollo at Grischa is a clear recommendation for anyone who values fine cuisine, perfect coordination, and first-class service. (Translated by Google) The service was very good and friendly, but the prices for various rolls are ridiculous. I paid CHF 7.20 for a pretzel triangle with egg and bacon, which I find very overpriced, especially for the distance you have to travel to even get there. I'm a trained baker/confectioner myself and have made similar products and sold them in the store, and for much cheaper prices than here, even though some of the rolls were larger. Well, the main thing is to make money. Unfortunately, the service didn't convince us (not for the first time). No smile, no warmth, no joy. Generally very rushed and some of the plates were taken away while not everyone at the table had finished eating. That's absolutely not possible. The pace of the courses is also very high; slightly longer breaks in between would have been appreciated. Unfortunately, the service spoils the otherwise very good cuisine and the cozy atmosphere. This eatery stands out for its extensive menu featuring both halal and vegetarian pizza options alongside traditional kebabs. Open until 11 PM, it’s an ideal choice for late-night cravings. Diners rave about the flavorful dishes, with many highlighting the generous ingredients and delicious taste of both pizzas and kebabs.
Good place in the center of Davos... They work until 11pm...They have good choice of pizzas and kebab's... I eat there few times when it's late and food was so delicious and taste... Food is full of ingredients... Price is correct for Davos, no cheap in this city... You can pay by card and cash... All recommendations if you are in Davos and want quick food and not so expensive

Kebab just nice. On the menu shown button bread burger bit it is kebab bread. Pizza was superb and crispy

I gave it a 5* because it is the only halal place in Davos, but also because we arrived as they were closing but yet they served us food and shisha. We overstayed by 2 hours. The food was decent and the shisha were good. The owner was a very nice man and the staff went the extra mile to insure we got what we needed. If you are a muslim in Davos, this is the place to go to get your kebab cravings under control.

Discovered this by accident and ordered a pizza and a Döner. Really big portions, reasonable priced (we are in Davos), friendly service and very good food! Highly recommend comfort food.

I had the fish and chips. To me it's probably the best I've had! Also the chicken wings were delicious and well cooked. Superb! Fries were crispy . The person in charge was friendly and serve us at the table (2 thumbs up)

Drinks are 5chf , max Kebap 14 . Very good prices and all sauces available to out as much as you want. Atmosphere they should do some updates to be above 3/5

The kebab was great and they prepared it quickly. It was only 10$. Although is is a bit far from downtown it is worth it because a sit down restaurant would be 3x as expensive.

We do not recommend this place to anyone. We both got sick. They do not use glove. The food is poor quality and after eating we both got stomachaches. The tase was not great either.
