We returned this year. Nothing has changed. Without doubt the best restaurant in Livigno. Shame it's closing in September 2024! Superb food and top-notch service! We had several family meals here over the past few days at various times of the day. The warm and generous service from the owner and the rest of the team, and the quality of the food never drops. Highly recommended!

what a place, family/home feeling once you step inside, free drinks at the front, prices are reasonable and food is delicious. usually a queue outside after 5pm but that’s because this place is awesome.

I think people that give 5 star in this restaurant they did not eat in their life in a restaurant. First of all, we need to wait at least 20 min to receive a table even that we where the first in the lane. We order their local dishes, two diavola pizza, one ice cream with truffle and one home made tiramisu and everything that we order was below average. In the end, i dont't understand the hype around this restaurant because the food and the service are bad. Don't recommend! Waste of time and money. There are a lot of restaurants that are much better than this in the area.

This restaurant is the best! Simple, yet personal with perfect Italian food. I have tried different restaurant in Livigno under several years but this is the best. The pizza oven and the chef who made your green pepper steak is top of the art.

We had a pleasant experience here. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the service was truly excellent – very friendly, attentive, and quick, which made us feel welcome. The food was decent, nicely presented, but not as impressive in taste as we had hoped. Overall, a good place to relax with great service and a nice vibe, though the food could be improved to match the rest of the experience.

I visit Livigno several times a year, and this restaurant is a must-visit after a day of skiing. Especially in the winter, the atmosphere is unique. Sometimes we stop in for food, sometimes for a quick meal. The service is friendly and communicative, and the prices are reasonable. We even got a free meal for larger orders. 😀 I also recommend their hotel.

Only one scratch at that perfect evenings… pasta in Parmegiano chease… guys please learn how to do it becouse its wasnt creamy it was pasta with oil . Small place with an amazing view. Great food served in a service minded way! Can be difficult to get a table, but if you are in time it is possible and worth waiting! I recommend!!

After a steep walk from Livigno you can treat yourself with an amazing view, fresh air and great pastries. There’s plenty of room inside and outside, games for the kids and a well maintained bathroom. Bring sunscreen because shade is only for some tables.

Realy nice dining experience with professional service and opened kitchen. All meals were tasty, creative and good looking. What took one star down was, for us, quite bad wine pairing with the menu. In such restaurant, with such meals and at this price I am expecting higher quality wines. Unfortunately paired wines were average.

The restaurant has very modern and stylish interior design and cutlery. Also, the open kitchen allows for a unique presentational and insightful experience. The service was impeccable and all the food was Michelin level. Though, the dining experience did take quite some time, so plan to spend a few hours here.

I stopped by this restaurant for a delicious lunch break during our ski trip. It was right next to the Mottolino cablecar station, so we didn’t have to waste any time getting there. The parking was also very convenient and spacious. The service was friendly and fast, and the food was amazing. We enjoyed every bite of our dishes and felt refreshed for the rest of the day. Fantastic place if you like a modern take on mountain dining, with some adventurous dishes. Truly great food (don't miss the grill menu) and super friendly and informed service. Sommelier gave superb advice, spot on without any upselling. We went twice in 3 days it was so good, Worthy of a Michelin 🌟, with no stuffiness.

Wonderful food, presentation, and service! The red turnip tartare was a must-try, in addition to the exceptional pasta and meat dishes. Our waiter was extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive, as well as all of the other staff. I would definitely recommend for anyone staying in Livigno.

We have eaten amazing food this week in several places in Livigno. But this restaurant is top of the top-notch. Absolutely amazing. The dishes we had was heaven. Especially the scallop ravioli. The sauce that accompanied this dish is true art. Also the service was extraordinary. The strongest recommendation if you love food. Go here!!

It's probably the best and most classy food we had in Livigno. The service was amazing. The sommelier chose the best rose wine ever. The pasta was delicious, the desert a real delight. Try the black forest and sea pasta...

This place has the stupid concept of: * toilet in the basement * no (public) stairs So you can get stuck there like I did and for tens of minutes you have no contact with the outside world, not even mobile network. Now after all this no serious apologies only the free grappa at the end of the dinner that is standard at most Italian restaurants anyways. And specifically we had not been the single meal guest, we had degustation menu with wine pairing. So practically zero effort on trying compensation, and to top it all out they threw us out because the 2 hour dining was up. Irrespective of the fact that they made me spend a significant part of that in the basement with no connection with the outside world. My advice: IF THERE IS A CHANCE YOU VISIT THE BATHROOM DURING THE DINNER AVOID THIS PLACE! (photos to show you we really dined there)

Food is good, the atmosphere is also relaxed and nice. I enjoy the peanuts on the table when you arrive, but you should clean the floor before the next customer's seat on the table and not have to put your feet on a pile of peanut nuts.

Really nice craft beer restaurant! They sell many different kinds of beers and offer nice comfort food. The ambiance of the restaurant is welcoming and they play very nice 70s rock music. Definitely check them out!

Nice bar in the centre of livigno. They had alcohol free and gluten-free beer as well as many others types bottled and on tap. Not so full on a weekday night and you get a table fairly easily

Food is extremely untaste. €17 for a hamburger that looks very tempting on the menu and in the end you get a disgusting dish. They add €2 per person for taking a seat. No possibility of splitting the bill when there are more people, the food served within 3 minutes looked as if it had been ready from the morning.

Very authentic brewpub in the heart of Livigno with its own, supposedly brewed at the highest altitude in Europe, beer. There is a very large selection of craft beer, and I would say that every single one of them is worth trying out. I had the "Enzian Bock" and "Ape," and they were very tasty beers different from the usual Pilsner-type of beer that they have in Czechia. I had the "1816" pizza with it, and it was fairly tasty as well, although it could have had larger amount of some of the toppings - but hey, you are not here primarily for the food :). The service was slower as more people flooded the place, but the waiters were still quite fast with the service. I recommend visiting the pub in the evening before the main dining rush - maybe before or at 6 PM. I enjoyed the visit even though I was not given the "free peanuts," and I would definitely visit this place again to try out more of the beers.

I ordered seabass with tomatoes and potatoes. As far as you can see there’s no potatoes on my plate :/. When I asked the waitress, she reassured me that the potatoes are inside the sauce and suggested ordering portion of potatoes separately. Not very clear from the dish description.

We had a table in the wintergarden/ terrace. Upstairs is definitely nicer to be seated, but we made our reservation in the afternoon. The staff is still very friendly and professional! Unfortunately the food was not that good anymore since we‘ve been there some years ago. Back then, Paprika was an excellent Restaurant. Now we would describe it just as average unfortunately. Therefore we found it too pricy!

We were in this restaurant today with a large friends & family group. The lady boss (“Capo” as frightened waitresses called her), who took the order and was in charge of our table, at certain moments behaved extremely arrogantly (I would even like to get up and leave, but we had children and elderly parents, I didn’t want to make a scene, and I don’t have such a habit, and I write here very rarely, and this is my first negative review). When she brought me a salad in the form of leaves, sliced ​​cheese and walnuts, I respectfully asked for some sauce, “humidity”, a splash of lemon, oil, mustard - anything so that it was not so dry, just like a mixed platter, to which the answer was that in “Throughout Italy salads are served like this”. sorry, I'm not originally from Italy, but I've been traveling in this country for 20 years and living in Milan for 2 years. And this is absolutely not the case, and the answer itself - an appeal to the whole of Italy - sounds extremely strange and disrespectful given the fact of particular case and request, smth like saying “take a salad cooking course and keep quiet”. After my polite answer, she brought salt, olive oil and balsamic vinegar and began to pour it all into my plate in proportions that are unknown to her, as she is not a chef, as if trying to show that this should always be done by guests themselves. Question: why go to a restaurant and expect that something can be made by a kitchen, if everything can be assembled with your own hands. I just refused a salad that she poured a ton of balsamic into and did it deliberately and rudely right in front of my nose. It was humiliating, miserly and completely unwelcoming act. The rest of the staff were much nicer. But the fish rots from the head. At the end it was funny when my friends ordered grappa, I asked if there was Nonino grappa, a brand that I know well and whose owners I met, she replied that “there is only what is indicated on the menu”, but when leaving, we saw the mentioned grappa in the bar downstairs. In general, by the way, with a kind, attentive attitude, you can not notice the flaws in the menu, but with such an attitude, an extremely unpleasant impression remains. I'm really sorry for the team. I hope that in the end this lady will be able to overcome her nationalist indignation and bad temper, but for now, a sincere (and in a way overpriced) 3 stars.

Ristorante La Pòsa is a cozy and charming spot in a quieter part of Livigno centre, perfect for enjoying authentic Italian and local Valtellina cuisine, with a lovely rustic interior that adds to the experience. Traditional dishes are all beautifully presented and there is a great selection of wines. The staff is friendly and attentive. Prices are fair for the quality and setting. Highly recommended for a relaxing lunch or dinner after a day on the slopes or exploring the town.

A rather disappointing lunch given the high ratings. The pizzoccheri is less than lukewarm instead of hot, even being served in a stone pot. We are fans of pizzoccheri and have eaten in many different places in Valtellina but this pizzoccheri is lack of flavour, specifically little signs of sage butter and garlic. Desserts are nicely presented but not a wow. We saw the chef/owner walked pass our table a few times, without an interest to greet. Umm, not a must but a nod is not too difficult as a restaurateur to make guests feel more welcoming, I believe.

We had the vegan menu combined with the wine tasting menu and it was amazing. With extra compliments to the barman who made the experience extra enjoyable. Definitely recommendable for people interested in vegan food as they have a lot of vegan options to choose from!

A good experience in general, everything was very good. I just don't recommend the venison wellington the sauce is not Made properly, and we ordered it medium and it arrived room temperature and raw.

5 star restaurant in Livigno. This is my second time in Livigno and so far La Posa has been the best restaurant. Traditional cuisine with a flavor of innovation. The staff is very attentive and it creates a very friendly atmosphere. Must to try are Pizzoccheri - by far the best I ever had in my life. Also interesting the choice of basil ice cream between starter and main course. Last but not least, gifted sweets together with coffee. Thank you La Posa, it has been a true Valtellinese experience!

Food was very very average quality considering the Italy’s food quality. Waitress tried to charge the double service charge. Salad with tuna was barely eatable, Goulash soup was far away from goulash soup. Serving salmon trout was a bit surprising. Although in the menu it was written (didnnot read it properly). Risotto was very good.

We arrived here hungry for lunch and looking for some energy for our Christmas gift shopping day. The Location is on the main shopping street of Livigno and easily spotted with a huge Harry Potter Statute outside. The Service appeared to be overwhelmed and took some time for the order. Once the order was taken, they moved fast to provide some bread and Grisini, which helped to calm our empty stomachs. A bit after, the main dishes arrived, we had two different type of polentas. They were delicious! The plate looked great and the portion was just right. We treated ourselves to a Apple Strudel, which was also delicious and beautifully plated. I recommend this place and will come back for my exact same order :)

The staff at the restaurant are really rude, they wouldn’t give us a place to sit, saying they are booked, at yet after 2 hours no one sat there. We were waiting a lot to order, and a lot more for the bill. It was awful!

Very good and reliable restaurant. The food was excellent, the service a little slow. It looks like their speciality is mostly lunch and afternoon snacking/coffee. They tend to close early in the evening which prevented us from having dinner there, but we would still go back for lunch.

TL;DR Very slow service. Some restaurant staff is aggressive :( It was a nice and shiny day until we visit the restaurant. We were ready to wait for a table at least 20 minutes because all restaurants are full of hungry skiers same as we were. But we have faced with unexpected service delays. It was a challenge to get a table. For some reason, no one manages a queue. Only very busy waiters try to find a table for you if you have been seen. Most complicated was to force someone to take your order. When finally we attracted attention we have faced with an aggressive attitude towards us. It was an apogee of poor service. We just wanted to escape from there, but it would be unfair to just stand up and leave because of food and bar personal do their job good. Surprisingly, a table near us with two Italian men didn't experience any service issues. When we have gone out there wasn't shiny anymore, because we have spent about 2 hours on lunch, and the sun hid behind the clouds.

Good hut with nice food and an amazing view. I really enjoyed the Pizzoccheri that they serve here, it's one of the best pastas Italy has to offer. The view from the upstairs restaurant over the mountains and Livigno valley is absolutely amazing, they also had an amazing musician playing outside who plays there everyday. The only real problem I had was that the staff were giving me false information. I wanted a specific dish which people outside told me was only served inside and they told me the weizenbier was from the tap, both were not the case. Overall I still really enjoyed this restaurant and would definitely recommend it!

You don’t have many options on the slope so if you want to have some food - you will have to go here :) The place is ok, I did not expect much as you don’t usually have a super tasty and high quality food at the restaurants at the slopes. I had goulash and it was good. However, I was waiting for 40 minutes which was a waste of time I could have used on the slopes. The prices are reasonable, they don’t take advantage of their location.

The place was nice, atmosphere good. When we arrived, the restaurant was empty. We ordered starter and asked the waiter to wait for the main course. He brought it right after the starter even when he asked us to tell when we are ready (we were not). Seafood spaghetti were dry and cold ( looked like they made it right after we ordered starter). We paid way too much for such a food. Didn’t even finish the main course.

I completely don’t understand where this opinion comes from. The waiters seemed offended at the entire world, and the pizza I ordered was a sad joke. Seriously, pizza bases from discount supermarkets are better. And we’re talking about an ITALIAN restaurant here.

Best restaurant in Livigno! We ate here almost every night of the week we spent in Livigno and there's literally nothing that wasn't delicious! I particularly recommend the tagliatelle funghi & truffle and the spaghetti aglio olio peperoncino. For dessert, you can't go wrong with the tiramisu or panna cota frutti di bosco. Can't wait to come back here next year!!

We had hot chocolate, pizza, and tiramisu. All of it was DELICIOUS!!! Our servers didn’t speak much English but that was no problem, they were very nice and helpful. The outdoor patio is cozy. We were lured into the restaurant by positive review from the Michelin guide and we were not disappointed. The restaurant and hotel are very cosy and stylish with a modern hint. The tasting menu is quite too big with 5 courses and a sorbet in between the first course and the main course. All the plates were delicious and I can only complain about the portion size. It pas painful to leave some of them unfinished 😅 The value for money is great compared to some star-rated restaurants I've been to. I will definitely come back when I'm in Livigno next time!

A fine and traditional (dinner) dining experience. Exceptional beef fillet and veal kidneys, but some other dishes were lacking the same quality. All of the waiters were very friendly and accommodating, service was wonderful.

It is a disaster when you actually want to eat something decent for lunch. The prices are adequate given the location, but the quality of the food and the service are completely terrible. I ordered Chicken burger "rustico" and french fries (together for 13 €) and it was all completely dry. They do not even have mayonnaise/tartar sauce/ketchup/mustard or any other sauce for sale here, so you can not get any even if you are willing to pay for it. And yes, there was not any kind of sauce in the burger either. My brother had the Lasagna (for 12 €) and he stated that "the lasagna bought at Lidl tastes 10-times better than this dry one. Avoid this place if you can.

Well located at 2360m above sea level on Mottolino mountain. Great outdoor space with already well -used furniture. The way of serving drinks doesn't fit the location and pricing, they serve beer and long drinks in plastic one-way drinkware, not nice and not up-to-date.

Always a great atmosphere. Great program and quality service. As for the food, it's average. But you come here for fun. So I recommend it to everyone who wants to have a good time.

Pastas were delicious, but the burger only so so. Taking into account the prices and the fact that we could barely hear ourselves speak because the music from the stage was so loud and noisy, one star less from me.

Very good pasta and risotto, they also brought us hot wine and chocolate from the bar downstairs. Prices 15-25 euro per plate.

The hotel is absolutely perfect. Perfect location - at the very centre of Livigno, very close to ski lifts, restaurants and shops. Very nice design, comfortable and clean rooms. Very pleasant and relaxing spa. Very friendly and helpful staff. Our next visit to Livigno - only in Bivio Hotel Plaza :)

I had a wonderful experience at the Bivio Hotel! It is quite central and very close to all shops and gondolas. The staff is extremely polite and kind, prepared to help at any moment. Breakfast is great! The spa and rooms are very clean as well! The hygiene standard is quite high! Overall totally recommend!

Such a beautiful area and place to be. Such a pity they have a nightclub that closes at 02:00 and 05:00 depending on the day spilling loads of people into te streets to disturb the entire neighborhood and surrounding hotels. Beware of where your hotel room is! …… Adding to my review since the reply Thank you for your review. During the 7 nights I did not have one undisturbed night and had to call the police- 2 am every day full of noisy drunk people in the street is not a vacation! This is a long standing issue as I understand it between the club and residents. I wish I could have had a Mountain View… this is a not a choice I or many others had. Advise to those paying so much is to know u will be disturbed or stay away! To the club/hotel perhaps you should solve the problem and position your patrons over the money you receive from cocktails ….

We were group of 4 and I don't fully understand those great ratings, our burgers were not tasty at all, meat does not taste like meat, worst ban/sandwich I had never eaten, it had to be old few days. Fries were Ok. We tried those burgers last year, and decided to give it another try this year, but I think this was the last time, we visited this place.

Very simple and delicious food corner, serving lots of different styles of hamburgers. Prices are very decent and affordable. Quality of food is great. I like the idea of serving and cooperating wit local supliers (meat, milk products, bread, beer,...). Service is very professional and kind. Would recomend!

I would avoid this place at all cost. I ordered the classic burger and a cola. The cola isnt sparkling anymore. The burger meat has a very weird taste like salami and is not palatable. The bread is soggy and breaks apart. Everything is slobbered in condiments. The toilet in the establishment is dirty. Customer service was very friendly, yet that does not help at all.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at Hamburgheria, where I tried the Sauri and Primavera burgers. Unfortunately, these were the two worst burgers I’ve ever eaten. While the meat itself was okay, the overall burger was terrible—completely dry with no sauces at all, making them bland and unenjoyable. To make matters worse, the staff was unfriendly and unhelpful. When I asked if I could have a beer as part of the menu package (burger, fries, and drink), they assured me it was possible. However, when the bill came, they charged me separately for the burger, fries, and beer, claiming that beer isn’t included in the menu package. This was incredibly misleading and frustrating. The combination of poor service and disappointing food makes it hard to recommend this place. Definitely not worth the visit.

Great place to have a pizza in Livigno. I highly recommend to compose your own pizza (base, type of dough and ingredients).

We were five from Israel on a cycling trip in Livigno. The pizza was perfect. Ingredients are top and the selection is very wide. Food came in fast and the staff was very welcoming! The Gufo pizza is thick crust and the classic is the thinner type. Both were very good.

Overall we had a good experience, and I would return to the restaurant. Salads were fresh and big. Self made pizza's are what you make of them. Pizza was of good quality, meat on the pizza was not so good. Desserts were a bit disappointing.

We were a group of 6 without reservation and even with a packed restaurant they managed to set us up for dinner... What a good salad and pizza, we all enjoyed it very much. When in Livigno a must visit restaurant...

Nice place, a strange way to order a pizza, u can create your own or just order smt from menu. Pizza had good quality and was tasty, we waited just a few minutes to take it away.

I have came here many times already and both the place, the staff, food and the wine selection keeps me amazed how good Italian food can be even at such touristic places. Just to name a few- excellent pizzas, great deer stew with polenta and grilled porcini or unforgettable valtolino sforzatto made from local Nebbiolo. And the music they all sing when people leave;)) just don’t forget, Fridays there can be a no pizza day;)).

Very disappointed with the service and friendliness of one staff member in particular. Seeing large plates of different types of spaghetti pass by every other minute to people, while being served a very small plate yourself for €15 can be cause for irritation when hungry. When making a friendly remark to the staff member about the portion size as opposed to some of the other plates being served, being dismissed and ignored for the rest of the lunch is plain bad service. Then again, the restaurant is part of the Bivio conglomerate that slowly but surely is removing the typical Livigno warmth and hospitality.

Decent tasting pizzas with relatively short preparation times and not-too-expensive prices. Good place to order for those on-the-go, as I have many times. Pizza is served fresh and warm, and the staff is friendly and many times can speak English.

Good food and ok service during serving. It appears as cheap prices, but they add 2€/person, even for kids!! So on the end +8€ to the bill!, then it's not cheap! When done eating, the waiter(old man) pushed us 😠to leave the table for new guests, when plenty of other tables available, very unfriendly behavior!! I wil NOT come back!

Very nice, quitet place to have a dinner during skiing. Its very cheap comparing to other restaurants in Mottoligno, pizza is tasty, pasta portions are maybe a little bit too small. Despite this I can safely reccomend this place to every skier skiing at Mottoligno.

The only advantage is that its close to the ski slope. Other than that: poor quality ingredietns (Way below Livigno average). Well another small plus : Staff was nice and friendly.

This is a small take-out pizza shop serve kebab too but to halal fo sure. Tje shop is on road corner easy access by car, it has a dinin and out area but too small. The food is avrage.
