Bill's Windsor Restaurant is a contemporary European chain that offers separate menus for breakfast, afternoon tea, lunch, and dinner. The restaurant caters to various dining preferences and is known for its legendary breakfasts, veg-centric lunches, and a la carte dinners. With a strong emphasis on vegetarian food and fresh produce, the menu reflects founder Bill Collison's background as a greengrocer.
Really impressed with the breakfast Vegan options! Had the Plant Plate which was delicious and the only place I’ve found that does scrambled tofu! Thoroughly enjoyed Can’t wait to try the vegan pancakes next! Staff were lovely, so polite, kind energy!

Great place to catch up with friends, family, and partners. They have an indoor and an outdoor area (pleasant area to eat outside during summer in my opinion). Me and my partner had the Garden Breakfast and the Bottomless Pancakes.

We had such a great time here! Our server Bart was amazing, super friendly, funny, and really made the whole night enjoyable. He checked in at just the right times and had great suggestions for what to order. The food was delicious and the vibes were great, but Bart definitely made the experience even better. Thanks for an awesome evening!
Jacob W — Google review
The food is a bit over invented (pizza hash browns totally unheard of) but when you get being served by Aisha everything else becomes really second irrelevant. Wonderful service attention and a smile to die for. Super polite super sweet and super attentive. The brunch burger was one of the best I have ever had.

What an incredible dining experience! Daiva and Bart made us feel so welcome from the moment we walked in. Their teamwork, attention to detail, and friendly personalities created such a warm atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and served with care. It’s rare to find a place where both the food and the service are this outstanding. We’ll definitely be back soon!

Absolutely amazing experience! Nina and Daiva were so friendly, attentive, and made our meal even more enjoyable. The service was fast, the atmosphere was warm, and every dish was delicious. You can really tell they care about their guests. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!

Enjoyed my time so much such great food. Thanks you Nina for the great service

We had a wonderful breakfast at Bill’s! I had the chocolate pancakes (3 stack) and they were so fluffy and tasty. My partner had scrambled eggs on toast with bacon and he said they were very tasty. The staff were very friendly and attentive! We were served by Liz who couldn’t have done any more for us! We would absolutely come again 😊

Meimo is a modern restaurant adorned with gilded mirrors, offering classic Moroccan and Mediterranean cuisine. Visitors praise the authentic food and ambiance, making it a fantastic spot for a taste of Morocco. The family-owned establishment provides friendly service and a lovely atmosphere, perfect for enjoying mint tea or a full meal. Located near the castle, Meimo is known as one of Windsor's finest restaurants, where guests can savor delicious dishes in a welcoming setting.
We loved our lunch at Meimo. Restaurant has indoor & outdoor seating. The indoor is decorated in beautiful Moroccan style. Service was very efficient, friendly & welcoming. They also cater to those who don't want Moroccan food, with sandwiches, salads, burgers & English breakfasts. We loved our lamb tagine, which was flavourful and very tender with just the right amount of spice. We ordered flat bread to mop up the beautiful gravy. We also had a mezze plate - they offered a special on 3, 4 or 5 sharing plates. We enjoyed the calamari, aubergine zaalouk, chicken wings & meatballs. All were delicious!!
Trish S — Google review
This is the first time we try the Moroccan Mediterranean dishes. The grills are more smoky or may be the restaurant. The tastes are very appealing. The Chicken brunettes are great and the portion is big. The mint tea is really nice and refreshing after the meal.

“Visiting from out of the country, we received exceptional attention and service. The staff had a great attitude, and the food was absolutely wonderful. Overall, it was a fantastic experience — I would definitely recommend it 100%.”

From the moment we walked in the door, we were warmly greeted and welcomed. The owner is friendly & made great recommendations on what to try. We enjoyed our first experience with Moroccan food & beer- everything we tried was delicious. This was a fantastic dinner, and I would love to come back and try more dishes!
Angela S — Google review
We had lunch at Meimo while on a tour of Windsor and Stonehenge, after our tour guide Robert recommended it! Everything we ordered was fantastic, and the owner is absolutely lovely - very welcoming and a fantastic host! We had the Meimo grill with three small plates, followed by Baklawa and the orange salad for dessert, all in the photos. We loved every dish, and especially the Pastilla, which we'd never had before, and was extremely unique and delicious, an amazing mix of chicken, filo pastry, roast almonds and orange blossom. Absolutely a must enjoy! Thank you for a lovely and memorable meal!

I had a wonderful experience at Meimo. The food was delicious with a great variety of authentic Moroccan dishes, and it’s all halal, which was fantastic. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, which made the whole dining experience even better. Highly recommend Meimo for anyone looking for great food, warm service, and a comfortable atmosphere.

“I had a wonderful brunch here on Saturday, the 14th of June with my friends. It’s a beautiful location in the heart of Windsor, with delicious food and exceptionally attentive staff. They went above and beyond to look after us. Public parking is available only 5 mins from this restaurant. Very convenient and I highly recommend this place. We will definitely be back!” 18/10/2025 We returned as promised and the food and the experience were even better than the first time!! The staff are so caring and lovely, made us feel very special 😊 10/10 ! Thank you Meimo !!

Nestled in the heart of Windsor, The Ivy Windsor is a charming new establishment that has quickly captured the hearts of locals and visitors alike. Just a stone's throw from the iconic Windsor Castle, this restaurant boasts an inviting red brick exterior that reflects its historic surroundings. Inside, guests can enjoy a variety of intimate dining areas adorned with vibrant decor and quirky touches typical of The Ivy group.
We were at the Ivy in Windsor yesterday and had an incredible experience! From the get go we were greeted with the staff with smiles on their faces! It was lovely to see that they actually look at the booking request as instantly they wished us a happy anniversary, the attention to detail is immaculate. We sat at our table and our lovely server Lola was clearly made for a front facing role in the restaurant as she catered to all our needs with a smile on her face. We were very lucky to have her as our server. The whole staff at the restaurant looks amazing in their uniforms and all have amazing customer service and are just the best. The food was immaculate, well presented and obviously delicious. The drinks were well priced and had a very good selection. We were surprised with a dessert for our anniversary which was an amazing gesture. The occasion of our anniversary will be well remembered by our experience at the Ivy. Will be coming back! Thank you to all staff and especially Lola our server! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wow, the quality of the food is truly shocking. I’ve been to the Ivy in Soho, along the Thames, in Chelsea, and even Windsor – and I am convinced that the only thing holding the brand together is the interior design. From what I know, the Ivy is in the same group as Annabel's in Mayfair, aiming for a luxury image. But in my several experiences, the food has been absolute rubbish. I say this because it’s all style over substance – flashy on the outside, dreadful on the inside. Take the Angus burger in the photo: the patty had not a drop of juice, and I’d honestly rate it worse than a McDonald’s burger. The ribeye steak was the worst I’ve ever had in my life. The smell was off, the taste was unpleasant, and although I ordered medium-rare, it came out looking as if it had been boiled – completely well done. To make matters worse, it was full of tendons. Was there even a chef in the kitchen that day? It was disgraceful, and the so-called “recommended sauce” only made it worse. The baby gem lettuce was limp, as if it had been sitting around for over a week past its best. The chicken breast was laughable – topped with a fried egg in a way that made me seriously question whether a proper chef had prepared it. Out of five main dishes, the chips were the only thing remotely edible. Why did I return to the Ivy knowing this would happen? That was my mistake. To the management: you should be ashamed. You lure customers in with interior design and atmosphere, then serve them this low-grade food and take their money? Never again. This was, without question, the worst dining experience – an absolute zero out of ten.

Our lovely friend invited us to this gorgeous, elegant restaurant and from the moment you step in you’d feel treated really well. It has a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff were superbly attentive, hospitable, professional with smiles on their faces and the food was excellent, my main course was beautifully and creatively garnished with fresh cress. I truly loved its floral decor and interior as well as the washroom was clean that it has a lovely fragrance. My G&T was fantastic too! I really enjoyed my dining experience with The Ivy! A well deserved five star! Thank you!
Liza M — Google review
The Ivy in Windsor has a really cool and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in. The staff are extremely friendly and pleasant, which adds to the overall experience. Their menu is quite interesting with a nice mix of options, and I especially loved the scallop appetizers — definitely a highlight of the meal. For mains, I tried the duck massaman curry; while it sounded promising, some of the sweet potato was undercooked and the dish overall lacked a bit of flavour. On the positive side, their cocktail and wine list is strong, making it a great spot for happy hour drinks or a relaxed evening out.

After receiving an MBE today at Windsor, we went for a special lunch at The Ivy. We were not disappointed. The staff were incredible, wonderfully friendly and so very attentive. The food was wonderful and the interior just fantastic. Thank you for making our day even more special.

Visited The Ivy today and absolutely loved it. The atmosphere is classic, elegant, and very British. We tried fried zucchini and fish & chips, but the highlight was the shepherd’s pie, unbelievably delicious. A truly high-end dining experience!

Food is good and ambience is great i just feel like they are a bit racist to me maybe because im asian as the treatment to other table is extemely different and like they want me to be out of the resto immediately keep on asking if im done even if it is clear im still eating and yet to finish my dessert and wine . Saddest part is when they give me with this bottle of water that looks old and dirty and i saw the similar bottle in other tables but clean lol.

Côte Windsor is a modern French brasserie chain offering traditional classics and regional specialties. The restaurant boasts a pretty outpost with a light-filled conservatory and uninterrupted views of the water. It is open seven days a week for breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner in its glorious riverside location. Housed in a handsome red-brick building just off Eton's High Street, it offers panoramic views across the river from its multiple floors.
We recently stayed in Windsor celebrating our wedding anniversary, we decided to come to your restaurant and am so glad we did. The meal was impeccable... such a beautiful restaurant, fabulous views and a menu so difficult to choose from because I liked everything!! We will definitely be returning one day!! Thank you so much for making our special day so wonderful!

Absolutely outstanding! Côte never disappoints – from the warm welcome to the beautifully presented dishes, everything was perfect. The food was fresh, full of flavour, and cooked to perfection. The service was attentive without being intrusive, and the atmosphere was relaxed yet elegant. It’s the kind of place where you can enjoy a casual lunch or a special evening out. Truly one of my favourite dining spots – five stars without hesitation!

Great attentive service at this cute restaurant with views of the castle. The fish stew was good. The rum balls for dessert were delicious. The white wine was great for a summer’s night.
C H — Google review
Being right next to the Thames is superb but the amount of wasps that came in through the open windows was unsettling. This did ruin the atmosphere, the view was amazing, the service was good. The food was hot and miss. My starter was amazing but had a bone in and when I pointed this out nothing was said, the main course we didn’t realise you had to order veg separately so it was literally just a main and my family had the chicken and found it a little dry. The desserts were fantastic. I would return but maybe in the winter without the wasps.
Lisa S — Google review
We were fortunate to have a seat next to the windows where we were able to see the river and the castle where the view was magnificent. The food was not as great as I hoped as the reviews that I have seen had gotten my hopes up. The chicken I got was tender but was quite oily. The muscles in the Breton fish stew had large shells but the actual muscles inside were quite small. The stew was also a bit to salty for me. The sour dough bread that came with the dishes were not that great either as the bread was too dense and dry. The waiter was friendly and helpful. Overall, I’d recommend this restaurant more for those who prioritize a great view and are willing to pay a premium for it over food quality and value. Personally, I don’t think it’s worth the money.

This place never disappoints! Food is amazing 🤩🤤 We've been here few times and every time the food was delicious, the view is superbe by the river, there's terrace, or inside table but open doors too, and little balcony tables too, I think is very romantic, or good for relaxing and enjoying good weather by the river with the beautiful swans and boats. Amazing service thank you so much for making our day special!
Szidónia B — Google review
Côte Windsor is a charming spot by the river with friendly staff and a menu full of fresh, delicious dishes. This was my second visit, two years apart, and I’m happy to say the quality of the food is just as excellent as before. It’s a great choice for a romantic dinner date or a lively meal with a large group—service is efficient and fast. The only downside was the hot weather outside and the lack of air conditioning inside, which made it a bit warm, but the food and atmosphere still made it a memorable experience.
Diana D — Google review
We decided to try this Cote restaurant (been to many before on different locations) as were visiting Windsor again. Service was really good. Food is always good at Cote. It was lovely to sit next to the river as it was a lovely warm day. I have to say I was a bit underwhelmed with the seafood main I had (like a seafood pie) as some of the prawns were a bit cold and it didn't have a lot of flavour. My main salad was really delicious and my husband's soup was amazing (corn and mushroom truffle?). Will definitely go back again. Service is always good at Cote. Thank you.

Restaurant
Nestled in the charming heart of Windsor, just a stone's throw from the iconic Windsor Castle, À la Russe is a delightful bistro that beautifully marries Mediterranean flavors with modern French and world cuisine. The ambiance is warm and inviting, featuring dark wood floors and elegant wall panels that create an intimate dining experience. Under the expert guidance of Chef-patron Andre, each dish is freshly prepared to ensure quality and flavor shine through.
This restaurant couldn’t be more authentically French. From the charming French waitstaff to the wine selection, the exquisite food, and the elegant decor. The ambience felt warm and welcoming, with soft lighting, tasteful artwork, and classic French touches that added a sense of intimacy. The menu offered a fantastic selection of traditional French dishes. I started with the escargot, which was buttery and garlicky in the best way, followed by a beautifully cooked Pousin that was tender and full of flavour. Service was impeccable; the staff were attentive without being intrusive and truly seemed to enjoy sharing their passion for French cuisine. Every dish was perfectly executed, and I left feeling like I’d experienced a little piece of France right here. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic French dining experience. I'll definitely be back!

Great restaurant in the middle of Windsor, I really felt I was back in a good french restaurant. Food, wine, service, atmosphere, tables, linens, wares, all perfect! A lady at another table had a birthday and we all who were dining sang a happy birthday song for her, it was very memorable and lovely. Thank you for the great food and a memorable evening, we will be back again!! It is a popular restaurant, please remember to make a reservation!

We were staying in Windsor after a long and late flight from Australia on Monday night - and stumbled upon this place - what a delight. Excellent menu, delicious food, expertly served - with a fantastic wine cellar. This place had the charm of a traditional French restaurant but in a contemporary setting - and exceptionally friendly staff. Some unique touches like preparing steak Diane and flambéing at your table. Will definitely re visit on our next trip to Windsor. It’s not cheap but we thoroughly enjoyed our evening so I consider it great value - highly recommend.

Such a lovely restaurant. Friendly staff. Amazing classic French menu. Good wine list. The food was outstanding. Highlights for me were the foie gras creme brulee starter...I love foie gras but never tasted anything like that before. And get the crepe Suzette for dessert, great theatre and a delicious and surprisingly light end to an amazing meal. Will definitely be back.

What a fabulous experience! After visiting the Castle and seeing the picturesque small town of Eton we fancied a French meal. We were not disappointed! Our staters were classic escargot in the shell and roasted octopus with strawberry purée and lightly fried gnocchi (the daily special). Both were excellent and we were so pleased we both (my spouse and I) had ear to ear smiles after we finished that course. For our mains my wife had the bacon wrapped pork roulade and I had the duck breast with stewed strawberries in on orange infused sauce that was to die for. The duck breast was perfectly cooked to a rare temperature and was so tender the knife seemed superfluous. The skin was crispy and the fat was expertly rendered to reveal a taste that pleased my palate to no end. It was accompanied by potatoes dauphinase cooked with just the right amount of garlic and cream. My dish was paired with a glass of negramarro primativo from apulia , recommended by our fantastic server, Michael. He, and the other staff were experts at their craft who never hovered but were there the moment we needed them. Our deserts were marvelous as well. My wife had the "Eton Mess" which was chantilly cream, strawberries and meringue in a chalice , very much like a deconstructed pavlova, out of this world taste! I had a simple affogato that ended what we both agreed was the best meal we have had 5 weeks into our 7 week vacation. The wonderful staff, led by an incredible expert chef are to be commended for a spectacular culinary experience. We will come back and we will pass the word, if you are in Eton you must eat there, not to be missed!! I only wish I took more photos but I was so busy eating I forgot, Mia culpa.

This a proper French restaurant. We booked the table in advance as its always busy. Tables are clean, we had a table for four. Pleasant staff and efficient service. Very enjoyable evening, delicious bread & butter. The rabbit was particularly good. All food served were perfectly cooked and delicious.

Been a while .... but worth the wait! Right, so we could have gone for the 'Lunch Special' menu, awesome! But we went the other way!!! Look, you will not find a better traditional French lunch menu, for £19, in Windsor .... fact! We went off lunch menu, ok! But .... what we had and saw come out was awesome! Oh, and the wine menu is somewhat.... GOOD!

Divine food at this French restaurant. They really know what they are doing! We ordered some starters, steak Diane and dessert. All decadent and Cooked to perfection. The steak Diane was prepared and cooked in front of us which was awesome! We had it done medium-rare (you can have it cooked exactly how you like it). The flavour in the meat and the sauce was so juicy and flavoursome. Would definitely return, especially for the steak. I like the ambience too, slightly lowly lit, intimate and romantic. Perfect date night spot.

Thai Square Windsor is a contemporary Thai restaurant with a touch of elegance, featuring bronze Buddhist sculptures and traditional carvings. The upscale establishment offers an exotic and enticing ambiance, complete with contemporary Thai-inspired interiors and elegantly clad staff. The menu goes beyond the usual offerings, featuring ambitious dishes such as lamb shank in dry curry sauce, larb (northern-style minced chicken salad), whole Dover sole with three-flavored sauce, and lobster specials.
The food at Thai Square is amazing! There are veg and non-veg options. We went as a large family with some of us who are vegetarian and some who do eat meat. We were all very happy with what we ate and the food was delicious. The picture in this review is of a vegetarian platter which I shared with my wife. The staff are very friendly, courteous and accommodating. They were also able to cater to a family member who has a gluten intolerance and were able to make the Drunken Noodles dish gluten friendly. Great food, great service and great atmosphere. I would definitely recommend a visit to Thai Square Windsor.

We had a lovely dinner here. The food was great, service little absent minded in terms of taking away empty glasses etc - a table for 2 doesn't have much space! But the food was definitely worth it!

Sticky tables and sticky rice! Delicious salt and pepper squid and pretty nice curries. Papaya salad underwhelming and over priced at nearly 12 pounds.  Ok service, kept forgetting our water and no knifes on table. That said we enjoyed our meal, it was full of flavour and the decor inside is very nice!

🛋️ Unassuming place for the outside when you are walking by. However, has a lot of space inside! Overall all nice interior. 🍜 Food was good. Decent soups, tasty Phad Tai. I didn’t find the dishes quite spicy. But, you can always add more spice. 🫜The have plenty of vegetarian options. 🅿️ Right next to paid parking. However, it is free after 9pm. 🚶Good spot to walk around the city after if before your meal.

My mum and I visited Windsor for a long weekend recently. Saturday we fancied something tasty but light and fresh and decided to try Thai Square. WHAT A CHOICE. Decor was beautiful, staff were brilliant, food was exceptional. We went in early as it was 30 degrees outside, nice and cool, huge place and not too busy. Had food from the early bird menu as it was before 6:30. Shared one of each of the platters for starters, mum had chicken with cashew nuts, I had beef penang, really delicious. The lemongrass notes in mine were incredible. Food was served quickly, hot and fresh. I don’t normally review but had to as we both felt it was exceptional. We visited another place the day before and had the manager shake his head at us as we moved tables due to being in the direct sunlight, and had a poor experience. This was completely the opposite, couldn’t have asked for a better meal with such friendly staffs highly recommended

This restaurant is particularly beautiful inside, having been in other Thai Square restaurants. You feel transported with green light streaming through stained glass and elaborate wall murals and statues. The service is reliably attentive and kind, and every dish has been flawless. The restaurant are particularly good with allergies and I always feel well looked after eating here, and leave with a smile!

We keep visiting this place at least once a month and if you fancy Thai food, this is one of the best places to be. The Ambience is really nice and great hospitality from the staff. I prefer to always start with a Tom yum soup and papaya salad. It’s a must try 👌👌. All the starters like chicken satay, fried prawns, squid, corn cakes, tempura are very delicious and tasty. The service is quick and pretty good portions for the starters. You have a lot of options for the main course from pad Thai to Thai green curry with rice. I really enjoy the food at Thai Square Windsor. Highly recommended 👌⭐️

The atmosphere and the interior is awesome. The food is great, we have dinner after visiting Legoland with kids. The Thai milk tea is very good. Miss the taste in Thailand. The lamp shrank is our favorite dishes. A bit pricy but worth to spend dinner in here. The waiter service is so so, seem Rushing you to leave after you almost finished the dinner. We had book our table via the fork, however once we arrived we was told our booking had been cancelled. We won’t know what happen but luckily we still got a table.

Cinnamon Cafe is a charming spot located inside Windsor Royal Station, offering an intimate atmosphere and a diverse menu that includes breakfast, cakes, and afternoon tea. The cafe provides free WiFi and comfortable seating options such as leather sofas under lofty wood beamed ceilings or bistro tables in covered courtyards. Visitors can enjoy well-prepared snacks and lunch items like jacket potatoes and doorstop sandwiches.
Came in for a stubby (flat white) and oh, it was perfect! It’s always so nice when the cafes make coffees correctly. The lady at the counter was so sweet. Highly recommend! It’s also conveniently located in a center with clean, free public restrooms!

Great price value, the coffee was huge, the warmed cinnamon bun was a great mix with Americano, and it was very good energy to see all the bikers refilling their energy in the mids of their ride.

Extremely busy and popular place, rightly so. Very good, attentive staff with prompt service and also very helpful. The renowned cinnamon bun was humongous, the size of a head, didn't know whether to climb it or eat it. It came warmed up too, which took me by surprise as wasn't expecting that. The almond and poppy muffin was yum too. Has more seating outside on the platforms, both sides. Conveniently sited close to the railway station, definitely a café worth visiting. Good service, good ambience, great cakes and great staff. Bravo. Recommended.

I got the half cinnamon bun and an iced mocha! Mocha itself was very tasty but was given in the same cup as they would give a hot drink in to take away, maybe a glass would be more appropriate for people eating and drinking here? Cinnamon bun was great! Although we had to move towards the seating at the back due to the bees trying to get a bite out of the yummy food 🥰

Very popular cafe and I can see why with plenty of seats and tables available. Also ideal for cyclists with parking near by. Coffee is also well prepared with good friendly customer service.

Very, very organised place. 🙂 Friendly, European staff. Laaaargeee coffee ☕️, and reasonable money for a cake 🍰, that was so delicious. 🫠🤤🤤🤤😍 Huge portion is worth to mention, and (❗️), this place is best for parking your bike. They are having special ramp to hang your bike 🚲. ❤️🥹 Also, great gateaway to the Castle, for a shopping centre, train or either town centre. Must visit...

Clarence Brasserie & Tea Room offers a historic and charming indoor-outdoor setting for classic Italian cuisine and traditional tea service. Located in a building that has witnessed some of Windsor's greatest moments, it captures the elegance of an English tearoom with the passion of fine Italian dining. The menu is filled with flavorful choices, and the wooden-beam interiors by large windows provide a traditional tea room vibe.
What a lovely and delicious place. This is our first time in UK and everything has been outstanding 🥰🇬🇧

At first, we hesitated to enter this cafe because it looks quite ordinary in a British style, and the tables and chairs aren't very comfortable. However, our doubts quickly vanished after we tried the food. The lasagna and ravioli were absolutely delicious and served in generous portions! I also want to highlight the friendly staff, who made our visit even more enjoyable. If you're hungry and looking for a tasty place to eat, this is the obvious choice! I rarely write reviews, but this cafe definitely deserves the attention!

Five stars just isn’t enough for The Clarence Brasserie & Tea Room! My wife and I had an absolutely fantastic afternoon tea experience here — one of the true highlights of our trip to Windsor. We were warmly welcomed by Albert’s wonderful team, and Albert himself personally came to each table to check in, share a bit of his story, and add his infectious energy to the room. Originally from Portugal, Albert has run The Clarence for the past three years, bringing his own unique essence while fully embracing the English elements tourists and locals alike expect. The scones were out of this world — perfectly warm with rich clotted cream and jam — and the finger sandwiches were fresh and delicious. Set right across from Windsor Castle, this spot carries centuries of history within its walls but feels alive and welcoming thanks to Albert’s warmth and passion. If I ever return to Windsor, I’ll absolutely be coming back. Bravo, Albert!

One of the most embarrassing meals I’ve ever had, my friends and I decided to pop in for some salad and pizza and we’re met with the lowest quality (most likely supermarket) pizza, pre-heated lasagna and a sad array of very basic salads. For the price, Clarence is a true and utter scam, I felt depressed putting my card down to pay for my meal as I felt I had been cheated. The service was subpar and the staff didn’t even bother to serve my table tap water until we requested it. Avoid Clarence at all costs, the prices are extortionate, the food is embarrassing and quite frankly eating there ruined my day. See attached the microwave pizza and lasagna we were served for upwards of £18, seriously embarrassing

Ate here on a busy Saturday when we'd failed to find spaces elsewhere. Seems being tucked round the corner on a side street has its benefits (for us at least) in that tourists stick to the main drag and dont look even 50 metres away, despite this being practically right next door to the castle. Very friendly staff, prompt service, and a wide range of food from sandwiches and toasties, to as we had, a full meal. We both had a main meal, alcohol, desert and it came to a reasonable £75 for both, inc tip. Food quality was good. I'd eat here again, inc for a light lunch or maybe coffee and cake in the afternoon.

What a great surprise! Always wanted to treat my family for a nice afternoon tea. Initially booked one for London over our holiday however during our day trip to Windsor the weather turned out to be a little rainy. We then decided to look for a place where we could have an afternoon tea and the Clarence came up on the suggestions. It did not disappoint. Tasty, casual but still with a touch of very old school grandmas house. The teas were very tasty. The scones were to die for! And the price was very cheap too! If you’re looking for a place around Windsor for an afternoon tea I highly recommend this! PS: the Victoria sponge cake was the best I’ve ever tried!!!

Nestled halfway up the hill leading to the castle, The Duchess of Cambridge Pub is a delightful stop for both locals and visitors alike. This spacious establishment boasts an inviting atmosphere with its exposed brick walls, unique flock wallpaper, and rustic stripped floors. Upon entering, you'll be greeted by a grand copper bar and cozy open fires that create a warm ambiance perfect for relaxation.
This is such a great pub right across the street from Windsor Castle. Ola, the assistant manager, was our server and is a delight. She was helpful, making suggestions on dishes to try. The food came quickly and was delicious. My friend got the Hunter’s Chicken and said it was very good. I got the Pie Tasting and wowzers! They were all delicious but the cheddar cheese, potato and leek pie really knocked my socks off. Ola shared that everything is made fresh and when they run out, they are out. She obviously has a lot of pride in this pub and it’s a true gem! If I’m ever back in Windsor, this is where I’ll be dining!

We were here for a week visiting from the states. This was the BEST gluten free meal we had all week. They have a menu for gluten free. The woman I assume is the manger took time to assist another member of our travel party with his dietary restrictions. Thank you for keeping us safe! The steak sandwich was so great. I’ll dream about that onion marmalade. The gf brownie was fantastic. I was sad we couldn’t try the cheesecake because it was out of stock but it sounded amazing. Thank you for wonderful service!!
Stephanie S — Google review
Mixed experience here over a week ago, they got our starter wrong twice, asked for no nuts on the baked cheese starter but it came with nuts, server took it back to exchange it no problem there, next one came out plain and didn't include the other garnish items that were meant to be on it like honey and some other bits which we wanted. The Cheese starter and toasted bread was still very nice, We did then have a longish wait for the mains to come, we got the burger and fish, burger meat was very dry presumably because they had to remake our starters and food probably sat under the heat lamp, That said the food quality of the burger was good overall, the burger could of been very nice if it was served shortly after it was cooked. Fish was mushy and not flaky as expected, classic sign that it was a frozen product. Chips and the Slaw were also very good 👍

Joanna was our fantastic server. In spite of being extraordinarily busy, she was very attentive and ensured we were well taken care of. The fish & chips and sticky toffee pudding were exceptional and are a must-try. Will certainly come back here next time we are in Windsor.

Last Saturday, I had the opportunity to celebrate my birthday at the Duchess of Cambridge. I was incredibly impressed by how wonderfully the entire staff prepared everything. The food was served very quickly and efficiently. Everything was delicious. The guests were incredibly happy. The service was truly wonderful. Ola, who looked after us all evening and oversaw everything, is the heart of this place. She is truly wonderful, as are the rest of the staff. I highly recommend this place. The interior is beautiful and the staff are incredibly kind and helpful.

Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply indulging in a night out, GOGOS Waterfront Restaurant promises an unforgettable culinary adventure amidst its charming maritime ambiance.
We’ve been to this restaurant twice—once during the Christmas season and again about a month ago. I have a severe allergy to onion and garlic, and I really appreciated how seriously the staff took my dietary restrictions. They offered me several safe options to choose from, which made me feel very well cared for. The first time, I ordered the steak with blue cheese sauce, and it was absolutely delicious. The meat was cooked perfectly —tender and flavourful, and the blue cheese sauce paired beautifully with it. During our second visit, I had another steak. While it wasn’t quite as amazing as the first time (possibly a different cut), it was still very tasty and enjoyable. Overall, I can strongly recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates good food, a warm atmosphere, and attentive service. We’ll definitely be back!

Lovely food and staff. Fun menu. Sugar was on the table alongside the salt and pepper which I had never seen before. Very quaint. The insects outside got a little intense, because you’re right next to the water, but you can always sit inside. Also, they were very pretty, not your usual insects at all. Hopeful to return one day for the breakfast!

We had a truly memorable dinner at Gogo’s — easily one of the best meals we’ve had in Windsor. I went with my parents and grandmother, and we all left raving about the food, the atmosphere, and the incredible hospitality. The setting was stunning. We were seated in the outdoor tent area, right by the river, with a lovely view of the yachts. The food was fantastic. My dad and I both had the sea bass, which was perfectly cooked. My mum had the mint lamb and my grandma enjoyed the salmon. We also shared the braai meat platter — generous, juicy, and beautifully grilled. For dessert, my mum had the brownie with pistachio ice cream, and I had the malva pudding (also with pistachio ice cream). Both were rich, comforting, and a perfect end to the meal. What made the experience even better was the staff. Everyone was so welcoming, friendly, and genuinely accommodating. Their warmth really made us feel at home. Highly recommend Gogo’s to anyone looking for delicious food, amazing views, and truly heartfelt service. We’ll definitely be back!

I was here as part of a wedding celebration so we had the hired, private room at the back including exclusive access to the upstairs terrace which was fantastic, especially given the great weather. The food was really good quality and very tasty, and the portions were good. All of the staff who looked after us were friendly and attentive, especially the man behind the bar who served us right through until closing and was constantly smiling and friendly. The venue itself is situated next to a marina and the terrace was the perfect spot for watching the sunset. All in all we had a great experience here and would happily come again.

We celebrated a special occasion with a few friends and were welcomed by a lovely atmosphere. While the service started off a bit slow and one of our orders was initially missed, Inder, the manager, addressed the issue promptly and professionally. His excellent service really made a difference and turned the experience into a memorable one. As always, the food was absolutely delicious!

The Savill Garden, located in Windsor Great Park, is a stunning 35-acre garden created in the 1930s by Sir Eric Savill. It features interconnecting gardens, exotic woodland, and a rose garden opened by Queen Elizabeth II. The well-marked paths make it accessible for all visitors to enjoy the beautiful flowers, walks, and pond. Throughout the seasons, visitors can experience the beauty of magnolias in spring and vibrant dogwood stems in winter.
Beautiful, impeccably maintained gardens located at the edge of Windsor Great Park, completed in 1932 by Eric Savill. The striking visitor centre was completed in 2006. The garden comprises several elements, including a rose garden, tropical glasshouse, Mediterranean garden and alpine beds. The real highlight is the superb collection of azaleas, in full bloom during May, making this the finest time to see the garden. Facilities are excellent, with ample parking, a large shop selling souvenirs, local produce and plants, a high end café and restaurant, and well maintained toilets. Accessibility is very good, with surfaced paths around the garden. Entry is charged, and tickets are relatively pricey (£14.50 at the time of my visit in May 2025), but everything is maintained to an exceptionally high standard consistent with the pricing. You can buy tickets on the day, but will get the best price buying in advance online. Make sure to verify your garden ticket at the desk as you'll get a refund on the parking charge. After exploring The Savill Garden, it's well worth taking a walk around Virginia Water and exploring more of Windsor Great Park. There's enough in the area for a full day out.

I took a group to the Garden, we had a tour of the Garden in the morning which was really enjoyable. The guide was very knowledgeable. In the afternoon we did the Heritage Tour, a guide joined us on our coach and showed us round Windsor Great Park. This was an amazing experience. Our guide was Chris and he went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time.

The entire park is beautiful and worth the visit for young and old. Paths are easy to moderate and well maintained, with beautiful forest to explore. Bring your babies in the prams or grannies in wheelchairs. This place is for everyone. Locals are friendly and dog walkers considerate. Toilets in the pavilion spacious and clean. Shop has a bit of everything and isn't that expensive. Bins are available in some parts of the park. Buy a ticket to separate Savile Garden or the kids playground which looked absolute fun.

New one for us, it's part of the great Park of Windsor Castle apparently, slightly hilly but not to steep paths, lovely flower beds by the hot house, explore further there's a lovely walk, 4 miles, around a lake .. it's a beautifully kept park with many species to gaze at. Eating in the cafe restaurant is great too, good range of dishes and drinks at very reasonable prices, and all served with friendly smiles.
Pete A — Google review
I parked here to begin a walk around Virginia Waters. It's a lovely spot with beautiful gardens, a cafe (there are also plenty of other places to get coffee and icecream and snacks around the park) and there is an adventure playground which has to be paid for and a smaller one nearby that doesn't. Be warned, parking is expensive if you're there for the day. I paid over £15. But it's worth it for a lovely day out.
Sarah O — Google review
Nice garden with plenty to see and a glass house. For visitors with children, they have a massive adventure play area. Good catering, plenty of parking and if you are a Great Park local, membership includes use of several car parks I think so with checking out.
John D — Google review
Took a party of 21 pensioners to the gardens. Had an excellent day. By going as a group we had free parking. We started with lunch then we split into 2 groups for a guided tour. Our guides were knowledgeable, entertaining, enthusiastic and our tours lasted longer then we expected but we were delighted! The gardens looked good as well but it's nice to know the stories behind the planting and plants. Had to finish our day with tea and cakes.
Mandi S — Google review
A full, enjoyable day out at The Savill Garden with plenty to see and enjoy on a May bank holiday weekend! Lots of parking available - make sure you bring your car park entry ticket with you to the pay desk when buying garden admission as they will scan it so parking is free (costs up to £15.50 otherwise). At the visitor centre there's a large shop, plant sale area, restaurant (fully booked during the lunchtime of our visit, so book ahead to make sure), toilets and an indoor and outdoor cafe. The garden admission tickets enable you to leave and re-enter the gardens as you please on the day so you can break up the visit with a tea break or two if desired. On our visit, the spring wood was in full glory with stunning azaleas, magnolias and rhododendrons. The very first couple of hints of what's to come in the rose garden were showing their heads, while the dry garden with its Mediterranean flavour was displaying plenty of colour. This is a beautifully set out garden that's not too big but has plenty to see, seemingly regardless of the season, and no shortage wildlife to be enjoyed throughout.

We visit Gilbey’s quite often and have used the group dining a few times. Today, as usual, the food was excellent as was the service. For us this is the best restaurant in Windsor by some way.
Angus M — Google review
Been previously a few years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it but unfortunately the food and service has gone downhill. The restaurant was completely dead and had no atmosphere, made worse by us being placed in a separate room on our own even though we could have been sat in the main area. We asked to be moved which for some reason meant the staff should argue with us about it being quiet, still trying to figure this out. Then the food, ok at best, under seasoned and overpriced and my pie manged to have no flavour to the point I thought I am not wasting calories and left it!! Plenty of other restaurants in Windsor to go for and I suggest you try them instead, worth the punt. Ohhh wait forgot to add the staff cleaning up quite loudly whilst we were eating after being moved, does give a real “get out I want to go home” vibe, yep we felt welcome! As said before cheaper and better in Windsor do not waste your money here.

The food is lovely, but for the price I would expect a higher level of front of house service. For example, the staff spent rather a while sorting through large buckets cutlery at the bar, which was so loud that my partner couldn’t hear me talk. They also spent periods speaking loudly about another member of staff who wasn’t in that day, so our conversation was often drowned out with staff gossip, which wasn’t relaxing for us. We should have asked the staff if the cutlery could be sorted in the kitchen instead, but the waitresses weren’t very smiley or warm so we decided to leave it. We wont be returning to this one, I’m afraid.

We had an absolutely delightful experience at Zizzi Windsor! Right from the start, the place felt very warm and welcoming, creating a lovely atmosphere for a meal out. Its location is also incredibly convenient, perfect for refuelling after exploring Windsor Castle or enjoying the riverside. The highlight, alongside the delicious food, was definitely the staff. They were genuinely friendly and helpful, making us feel truly looked after. Just as we experienced, it felt like nothing was too much trouble, and they made every effort to meet all requests, succeeding wonderfully. This kind of attentive and accommodating service really makes a difference. And the food? It was fantastic! The menu offers a great range of Italian classics, and everything we ordered was delicious and really tasty. Plus, the portions were generous, offering great value and ensuring nobody left hungry. It's clear they use quality ingredients and put care into their dishes. Overall, Zizzi Windsor is a lovely place that gets everything right – superb food, brilliant staff, and a welcoming vibe. First time here at Zizzi’s. Food was absolutely amazing. Really good quality and came out fast and hot. Food was up to high standards and full of flavour. Really recommend the pulled beef Pasta. 10/10. The service was really nice and was greeted upon arrival by a really nice waiter. Had a smile the whole time and was quick and happy to serve us. The atmosphere was really pleasant and temperatures inside the restaurant were just right.

After a busy day sightseeing around Windsor we decided to eat in the town before before heading back to the Airbnb so chose Zizzis to suit our daughter who's quite picky unfortunately. It turned out to be a great choice as after a warm welcome we were offered a choice of table locations ( we hadn't booked but timed it well as it filled up during our meal) and given menus plus offered drinks which arrived quickly. The service was friendly & helpful throughout and was very efficient without ever making us feeling rushed. We had a poor experience at our local Zizzi last year but everything here was on another level completely, with the food being the best we have had in any branch over the years! A great experience to end a great day out, so a big thank you to all the staff at Windsor who looked after us so well and restored our faith in the brand 😊

We booked a table for a large family gathering (17, including young kids) at short notice due to weather meaning our original plans for the day had to change. The team at the restaurant were great, particularly the manager Anthony, at looking after us, making sure we got our food & drinks, patiently dealing with our questions & changing of plans/request, and making sure those with food allergies (one with a very serious dairy allergy) were taken seriously and put at ease. They even produced a glass of something bubbly for my sister (it was her 40th birthday) . A great location, good food, and fantastic service!

Sandwiches were alright, scones were dry and sad. Desserts looked very pretty but the cheesecake was practically frozen, the other desserts were WAY too sweet. One of the teas was awful, the other one was luke warm at best. Tea cups and plates were dirty, the saucers probably hadnt even been washed it seemed. The glasses stank, the overall state of the seating and tables was bleak. Service was rubbish too. Really don’t recommend the afternoon tea!

Our only moan was that when offered another pot of tea (very nice) they just filled the teapots up with hot water and did not refresh the tea bag! However apart from our moan we would book again.

I had lunch with a friend and our two babies in their prams. The staff were super attentive and made sure we had enough space, the manager also came over and slices our pizzas for us so that we could eat and feed babies at the same time. A really really thoughtful action. Would definitely come back!

I was so disappointed in our experience. We had been before and had been seated in the more private, quieter side of the building a few years ago. This was chaotic and right in the centre of the restaurant. We arrived about 10 minutes late but still ended up waiting about 30 minutes for the afternoon teas. There was a blatantly dirty glass on our table (pink lipstick stain). When the food finally came, 1 of our desserts was still frozen/icy (cheesecake). All 3 of our clotted cream portions had a blue/black crust that I can only assume was mold. No one apologized for the wait time or the dirty glass or the moldy cream. The rest of the food was just ok. Really not worth it and better / nicer options around.

It is pricey but food quality is good. Pizza was tasty with a nice side salad which was generously dressed. The 50% beef/50% lentil & mushroom burger doesn't read well on the menu (probably why the waitress said they don't get many orders for it) but it really surprised - it was a substantial burger that was moist and meaty with good relish, salad and gherkins - highly recommended - even if it is £20 with skin-on fries (which were also nice but very expensive if ordered separately as a small portion is £5.50) No straws - not sure if they had just run out or don't use, but they didn't have any - luckily we had a supply in the car!

If you're looking for a unique experience in Windsor, the Windsor & Eton Brewery is a must-visit destination. This charming craft brewery, established in 2010, invites you to explore its artisanal brewing techniques while enjoying a tasting session of their exceptional ales. The taproom features an impressive selection of over 20 beers on tap at any given time, including delightful options like Guardsman Best Bitter and Knight of the Garter Golden Ale.
Popped in here before going to the races, and I'll definitely do the same next time. This brewery tap is well worth a visit. Ales in tip top condition, with something for everyone. A nice space to sit and natter over a pint, and a good shop for your takeout selection. Seating outside too. Well done!

A Windsor attraction definitely worth visiting. Superb range of cask and keg beers, a fantastic, spacious tap room with huge screens for big sporting events, occasional live music...and now a Shuffle board. Outside seating too, so whatever the weather its sorted. Oh & its an Untappd venue!

Had a brilliant day out at the Windsor and Eton Brewery. The tour was fantastic and the beer was delicious. The staff were very helpful and there was a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. A big thank you to Santi! 🍺

This is such a cool spot for a few pints in the sun. Great selection of beers and the gluten free beer was top. Food was great with generous portions at a reasonable price and all the staff were chatty and made you feel welcome.

Windsor & Eton Brewery is a fantastic spot for a relaxed and friendly drink. They offer a great selection of cask ales and keg beers, along with a good range of soft drinks. Also beers and merchandise are available to buy. Rugby was on via some big screens. The place is decorated really well, giving it a warm and welcoming feel. The barmaid was incredibly helpful and friendly, helping with choices and making sure everyone felt at home. It’s also child-friendly, which is a huge plus for families. For a bit of extra fun, there’s even the option to play shuffleboard for a small additional charge. It was just under £20 for 2 pints and 2 soft drinks so not the cheapest. Still it's brilliant brewery visit all round!

Good tap room. The venue was hosting a live music event so the inside was packed, we sat out the front which was where I wanted to sit anyway. The brewery is clean and respectful. The beers were great and the selection was extensive. Avoid the food though, for a £14 burger the beef patty was terrible. Very thin and cheap tasting. I wish I had read review before ordering. It lost a star there This is a card only venue and I only really use cash now so it was a inconvenience to have to rely on my card. It lost a star here unfortunately. I would definitely recommend here and would like to come back when there isn't an event on.

Excellent evening spent here. Delicious beers and the burgers were excellent. Good catering for vegetarians. We also had a sneak peak at the brewery itself and it was so interesting! Thank you to the staff for being so friendly

Monty Cafe is a traditional European cafe with an interior featuring rustic details and a daytime menu of casual European cafe fare. The cafe serves breakfast, lunch and brunch items as well as panini and baguette sandwiches. It also has a full English breakfast menu with smoked salmon and cream cheese, egg, sausage, mushroom or bacon sandwiches as well as pancakes with maple syrup.
Same as usual, great customer service from very accomodating Sebastian. :) Also food was lovely, and the place for itself is my favourite for breakfast. Don't change guys, because you are doing something right!:))) I love having space next to the window as you can switch off yourself and watch what is happening on the street. ;)

Excellent service and food!!! Kind and helpful staff. Located near the train station. Delicious breakfast, especially my beloved hash browns which were really well done, top notch!!! Nice mint tea and coffee as well. A cosy place, we could talk without loud noise.

We got the ham eggs Benedict, omelette, and pancakes. Eggs Benedict and omelette were tasty but our favorites were the chips, sausage, and pancakes. A bit expensive for breakfast but service was friendly and fast. Everything tasted freshly prepared.

I've frequently walked past here and seen it busy, I'm not sure exactly why. The service was good enough: polite and friendly. The food was pretty mid-tier; my poached egg was almost hard boiled, tuna steak was dry and £3.45 for some Ice Tea poured from a 500ml bottle is diabolical quite frankly. I wouldn't go out of my way to try here.

Hotel and staff were great but had mu car stolen whilst staying at this hotel. Crime in this area is high and police response was abysmal. Did not attend, view cctv footage, really bad. We had a tracker on the car and went to the very nearby location but could not find the tracker or the car. We very heavily suspected this was quite common and the car was taken into a prepared lockup nearby to avoid car plate recognition cameras. Definitely very organised type crime. Hotel staff were very helpful and refunded our breakfast. Handy train/dlr was right next door so we could get home. Some two weeks later car not returned and our view of the police response remains same, bloody hopeless and absolutely dreadful.

First morning in Windsor on our 3 day stay, and found this great cafe. Not too busy on a Wednesday morning, friendly staff, very good food, reasonably priced. We had an egg and bacon baguette and a egg benedict, very tasty. Parking only in designated car parks.

I had Poached Eggs, which was very soft as I requested. My husband had a steak and egg, of which the steak was a very generous piece! We all enjoyed our food. But when it's sunny, sitting by the window is quite hot even when it's still quite chilly outside. Would recommend it.

Giggling Squid - Windsor is a laid-back spot that specializes in Thai cuisine, particularly seafood. The restaurant's roots trace back 20 years when its co-founders crafted a Thai tapas menu in a fisherman's cottage, which still remains popular today. The vibrant and floral interior of the Windsor location mirrors the rich landscape of Thailand.
We stopped in pre-theatre and had a delicious meal. Lots of different things to try beyond the normal Thai food options and good portions. Service was friendly and quick, but not rushed.

Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great meal.

We visited the Windsor branch at the start of August for our dad’s 70th birthday celebration. The food was delicious and the staff were pleasant, but the restaurant was clearly understaffed for the number of large tables and bookings on a busy Saturday lunchtime. We had to go up and ask to order drinks and food, and the service was very slow. The biggest let down was what happened with the birthday cake. Despite dropping it off earlier in the day with a specific request to keep it cool, it was left in direct sunlight under a skylight and had completely melted. This was a custom made cake for this special occasion which cost a lot of money so it was very upsetting. The manager was helpful and offered some compensation. She also advised that we would be reimbursed for the cake, but after sending the invoice to Giggling Squid I have still had no response, which is very disappointing.

Heidi's coffee shop in Windsor Central Station is an independent and charming establishment. The atmosphere is distinct, with a cozy ambience that sets it apart. Their coffee is delightful, tasting fresh and delicious. I decided to go with my usual choice of an oat latte, which turned out to be exceptionally good. The coffee itself strikes the perfect balance - not too strong or burnt-tasting, just right.
Incredible food and lovely service! Their brand new products are amazing, especially the cinnamon knot. Ze, Luiza and Joy do an amazing job running the show. Best coffee spot in Windsor!

The cakes are extremely nice and everybody loves them. And a staff member called Adele was really kind. When we spilt a drink all over the table she reassured us, cleared it up with a smile and gave us a new cake. And the atmosphere is very nice.

Heidi Bakery is my go to cafe of choice and is a great comfort to me personally for tasty lunches and for coffee with pastries. This is the case for all my family who live in Windsor and further afield when visiting. Service is always second to none with friendly staff and welcoming faces who always go over and above for any needs or requirements. It doesn’t matter if you are new in town and just visiting or a regular customer everyday, Heidi’s is a place not to be missed and will leave an impression worthy of a review like this one. Thank you Heidi.

Delicious coffees, food and sweet treats. Star of the show is their lunch deal. Their food is always freshly made on the day and tastes great. Ham and cheese toastie is a great option. This place is a hotspot for locals and can get very busy on weekends, best for a quick bite then to leave rather than lounge (which is fine!) Dog friendly cafe within Daniels department store so just be mindful that you might be seated next to a dog while you eat.

Food was so good! Adelle was amazing!! She was so nice and helpful and kind. The jam donut was worthy of the name. It’s incredibly fresh! Banana Tree Windsor offers a vibrant dining experience with an industrial-chic ambiance and a diverse menu featuring pan-Asian cuisine. The restaurant takes pride in curating the best dishes from Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Malaysia. Notably, they have developed plant-based meat alternatives and offer a vegan menu that includes delectable options like Sweetcorn Fritter Balls and Vegan Katsu Curry. Guests praise the knowledgeable and passionate staff who provide excellent service.
Visited Banana Tree for the first time after years of wanting to try it. We were seated by a polite staff member, and our drink orders were taken soon after. While the beer arrived quickly, the cocktails took much longer—we even received our starters before the drinks. The restaurant wasn’t particularly busy, so the delay was a bit surprising. That said, the waitress apologised and kindly offered us two complimentary cocktails to make up for the wait. For starters, we had the Korean BBQ wings, steamed chicken dumplings, and bang bang broccoli. For mains, we tried the gochujang chicken bowl, beef rendang, and chicken pad thai. Every dish was full of bold, delicious flavours, with the beef rendang being truly phenomenal—easily the best I’ve ever had. The highlight of the meal, though, was the homemade chilli sauce. It had just the perfect amount of heat and it was eaten with everything we ordered. We’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu. Highly recommended.

We celebrated Mothers Day for myself n my daughter -in-law in Bananas Tree. The menus are quite extensive, many choices n favours from South East Asia. We selected Railway fried rice, Laksa, beef rendang , Pad Thai n papaya salad. There was an added bonus of free child meal on that day introduced by one lovely waiter.. The foods are tasty n we are happy with the service / environment.

We were very warmly welcomed by Rajdeep who was quickly make sure we are not allergic to any ingredient. We fell to his ever smiling face and he wears a red turban. The food came with a positive nod. The teriyaki salmon, rice and broccoli with mushrooms in sweet sauce was delicious. So were the spices he brought us to dip with the crackers. Wonderful chat and a delightful experience. 🥰😍🤩

We had one vegetarian guest with us and person who served called Rajdeep gave some recommendations for food and our guest liked it. only thing I find in kids menu chicken was bit dry and my son didn’t enjoy his meal. The Legendary Beef Rendang was one of our favourite from all. it’s recommended! If you are a fan of peanuts and don’t want hot curry then try Thai Chicken Massaman. Overall services were great!

Absolutely astonished by this place, I've never been to a place with such polite workers, Andrei is (in my opinion) one of the nicest restaurant workers ever, I ordered ramen with Peach Oolong Ice Tea & I have to say I was blown away by the ramen, the chicken gyozas that come along with it were so flavourful, also it looked exactly like it did on the menu AND it arrived in mere minutes!!! If I come back to Windsor I'm definitely arriving again. In addition to everything, do come if you're a student, not only is there a 30% student discount but the workers regularly hand out drinks on the house, I personally got a lemonade and I'm not even lying, best lemonade I've had in England. Overall, 10/10. No exaggeration. Do come if you ever visit Windsor. ❤️

Tea house
The Crooked House of Windsor is a charming 16th-century timbered house that has become a popular attraction in Windsor. Rebuilt in haste in 1687, the building's wooden frame buckled as it dried, resulting in its unique and quirky crooked structure that still stands today. This historic landmark has served various purposes over the years, including being a butchers, jewelers, and brewery.
With an hour to spare before my bus home, I went into the Crooked House Of Windsor, and enjoyed some wine and cheese. My photos don’t do the crookedness justice! I felt a bit sea sick in the second floor! It is the oldest tea house in England and was reconstructed in 1687. It was cozy and magical! The cheese and bread were delicious and the staff were so welcoming.
Amy N — Google review
Came for the building, stayed for the coffee(s)! The coffee was the best, a highlight of our trip!! Scones were delicious. Pricing is what you'd expect. The service and quality were exemplary.
Kristjan H — Google review
The service is very nice, but some of the food leaves a bit to be desired. The bread and hummus was excellent (maybe could have used a little salt)! The scones and banana bread leave something to be desired as they are a bit tasteless, hard, and do not seem fresh. The servers really were very helpful and fast though.
Annabelle Y — Google review
Although we did not eat here, we had a great time taking pictures out front and in the back as it is such a unique house! The Crooked House of Windsor, also known as the Market Cross House, is a historic building located in Windsor, Berkshire, near Windsor Castle. It was originally built in 1592 but was reconstructed in 1718 after the original structure was demolished to make way for the Guildhall. The house is famous for its pronounced lean, giving it a distinctly crooked appearance. This tilt is due to the use of green, unseasoned oak in the reconstruction, which warped over time. The building has served various purposes over the centuries, including as a butcher's shop, a jewelry store, and a tea room. Today, the Crooked House of Windsor is a charming tourist attraction and a delightful piece of Windsor's history, reflecting the quaint and picturesque character of the town. Its unique architecture and historical significance make it a popular spot for visitors exploring the area.

This is a really great and special place. Had a delicious veggie sandwich. They have done it up absolutely brilliantly with drinks you can buy on the shelves around you. Still retains original charm and character but not at all stuffy - total opposite of it. Such a cool place with great vibes. A real gem
Celia L — Google review
Been travelling across the UK for 4 weeks and this amazing establishment has the absolute best Flat White coffee I have had in country! Service was amazing as well. Thank you team.
Dan C — Google review
The best thing about this place is the architecture. I had been years ago for a cream tea but found it had been transformed into yet another run of the mill cut and paste café that are ten a penny these days (and there are loads in Windsor). £9 for a sourdough sandwich filled with a few bits of cremated streaky bacon and a few leaves of rocket salad was an absolute rip off. I wish I had taken a photo. The whole menu is way overpriced. The coffee was good but the cups were so small it simply wasn’t worth £3.60. I had to find menus myself as we were left waiting ages after being seated. Then they had the audacity to add 12.5% service charge in addition to the inflated prices! Not discretionary but automatically included. £28 for two coffees and two sandwiches is an abysmal example of how the hospitality industry in tourist areas deliberately fleece people. Absolute daylight robbery.

Oakley Court is a refined hotel located along the picturesque River Thames, boasting an array of amenities such as multiple restaurants, a spa, a gym, and tennis courts. The 19th century Gothic Revival architecture of this Grade 2 listed building exudes a distinctive charm and is set in over 30 acres of grounds.
Just spent a delightful weekend at Oakley Court. Wonderful setting, delicious food and attentive staff. We booked a cabana for lunch at River House which was a huge success and everyone went out of their way to look after us. Also booked self drive boats for a hour on the river which was lovely. Highly recommend this hotel and only an hour or so from London. Ideal.

Oakley Court is one of the most stunning grounds I’ve stayed on. I couldn’t believe how vast the space was with it over looking the Thames - it’s the perfect mix of regal and tranquil. The rooms are great, staff are delightful and the food was amazing! The whole place is breathtaking and you get to see more of it on the boat rides they do. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely be back.
LA — Google review
Rating: 6/10 The grounds are beautiful and the food is good, but the overall experience could use more care. Furniture by the water was stained and unusable, and even the room furniture had visible marks. We initially booked self-guided boats but canceled after seeing how poorly maintained they were. The TV in the room is extremely outdated — the only way to stream is through your phone, and for some reason it kept turning on by itself in the middle of the night, waking us up with its light. It seriously needs replacing. Board games were mostly empty boxes covered in dust, despite being advertised as an amenity. Breakfast hours were inconsistent (one day until 11am, another day closed before 10am), which was confusing and disappointing. Towels were also insufficiently provided. The River House restaurant was the worst part: we waited over an hour for a burger, received no apology, and were still charged a £7.50 service fee. The staff would benefit from better training and attention to service. Overall, it’s an “okay” experience with lovely surroundings, but it lacks attention to detail — even at checkout, the reception felt a bit absent-minded.
Eva S — Google review
My family stayed just one night to celebrate my wife's birthday, taking 4 rooms in total. The rooms are very traditionally furnished, in keeping with the style of the house and the beds were extremely comfortable. Dinner was excellent - both the quality of the food and the service. Staff were friendly, helpful and generally very chilled (without being unattentive). And it's a dog-friendly hotel, so our family furry friend could join in the celebrations. I would undoubtedly return

I booked a long weekend with my daughters and one fiancé as a surprise break for them- initially choosing it as a venue because of the Rocky Horror connection. We’re all fans, and i thought it would please them. As a surprise it worker beautifully, and as a stay it was even better, surpassing anything i could gave hoped for. The Court itself is of course beautiful. The grounds are stunning. The most impressive part by a long way was the staff who could not have done anything more to make it a wonderful and memorable break for all of us. We pushed the boat out on Friday and joined the Chef Akira Japanese fusion tasting experience. It was a very lively, fun crowd of just 12 and wirth every penny. Stunningly good food, ably hosted, beautifully presented. Could not recommend this place enough. I absolutely loved every second of it thank you, all x

The rooms and decor was perfect and it just had such a lovely vibe overall the entire time I was there! I can’t wait to go back and spend the weekend with the girls!
Shanice N — Google review
I stayed here with my husband and dog for a weekend and enjoyed the beautiful grounds, rooms, and dining area with friendly wait staff especially in the main dining room. The bike ride along the Thames was a lovely way to see the area and visit the castle while avoiding the crowds. I did have some difficulty with communication, but in the end Oakley Court staff sorted it out.

Craft Coffee House is a coffee shop in Windsor that was once praised for its great service and delicious coffee, but has since lost its edge. The first time I went there, the bagels were amazing and freshly made, but on my most recent visit they had run out of them and only offered poppy seed bagels. The presentation on both visits wasn't great either - the bagel looked like it had been thrown together and was quite dry.
This is tucked away in a lovely small courtyard in Windsor. If you are looking for a tourist hordes escape this would work. Friendly staff, they make their own cakes. Ozone coffee from London is also well rated. Would return.

I got a coffee and a veggie breakfast. Coffee was decent. The food and service was a bit disappointing. We weren’t told until the food had arrived that there were no beans. The eggs weren’t cooked properly (had runny whites) and one of the yolks was broken before even arriving at the table. The toast was more like just bread, as it wasn’t toasted that much. Veggie sausage was fine though. All of that and the staff weren’t the friendliest. The two people working felt a bit harried despite coming at a pretty slow time.
Sydney S — Google review
It would not be fair to give a bad review for this joint today (7th September 25) as the girl at the counter was running around trying to serve a lot of people without someone else assisting her. Poor thing. The delay was terrible, the food came in stone cold (baked beans)..and it took 3 minutes to have it reheated. People on the queue started to leave I can honestly say that 3 people walked off the queue as it was just a terrible wait. The food generally was OK, but please, get a helping hand for your staff. Prime location+steep prices = more staff necessary.

Lovely coffee and delicious veggie breakfast! The staff here were so lovely and generous, they offered us extra toast with our breakfast free of charge! And the veggie sausages were handmade locally. Couldn’t recommend more!

A small little place hidden in a court yard across from carpark leading up Windsor streets. Nearly missed this little gem. Fantastic coffee and a beautiful English breakfast of egg, beans, bacon, sausage and toast for us. Many other options. So good we returned after our walk at Windsor castle fir more coffee and yummy carrot cake. Check it out. Staff lovely and quick service. A courtyard setting. Not a lot of tables inside if raining.

I understand we all have bad days — it happens, and it’s totally human. But it’s not fair to take it out on the people who come to your café to enjoy a coffee and a moment of calm. A bit of kindness goes a long way, especially in a place meant for relaxing and recharging. If interacting with customers feels overwhelming, it might be worth considering a role that doesn’t involve front-facing service. Everyone deserves a little respect, even on tough days.

I visited Craft Coffee House yesterday and, unfortunately, had an unpleasant experience. Having read through some of the recent reviews, it seems I’m not the only one noticing the same issues. The manager, Viki, gave the impression that she simply didn’t want to be there. There was no hello, no thank you, and her tone of voice made us feel like we were bothering her. When we asked if they could make a cortado, her response was to point at the board and say, “That’s what we’ve got.” Not exactly welcoming or customer-focused. If I were the owner, I’d be very concerned and be making some changes - experiences like this will drive customers away. Sadly, for me, this was enough to decide I won’t be going back.

Other Space Arts (OSA) is a vibrant grassroots venue that seamlessly blends live music and arts with a delightful plant-based café, restaurant, and bar. Open from Thursday to Sunday, this gem is conveniently located just a short stroll from Windsor's town center. OSA offers an eclectic mix of original performances, live music events, and DJ sets that create an inviting atmosphere for all. Visitors rave about the deliciously fresh menu that caters to everyone—yes, even non-vegans!
Super cool place to visit. All plant based food (my family of non vegans also loved the menu and didn't miss meat!). The food was delicious and fresh. Menu is varied. The staff are so lovely and took time to talk to us, shared stories about the place. Really wish them well. The vibe is really cool and we wish we could have stayed for the evening entertainment. It is a little trek out of town but we'll worth the extra steps!! Highly recommend for all people and we will be back next time we're in Windsor. Thanks for looking after us so we'll.

Had a wonderful experience! Matt went above and beyond to accommodate for my allergies. He allowed me to read every single ingredient. Even put on his chefs jacket to cook my food separately in a different kitchen to ensure no cross contamination. Somehow he managed to make it flavourful as well as allergen free which is always a lovely surprise. Highly recommend! Service and food are both some of the best I’ve ever had!

Had a lovely, chilled Friday evening at OSA. The food was glorious (especially the coconut rundown!). The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the folk music event was such a lovely, intimate gig. OSA have really used the space well, with a restaurant/bar downstairs, and a little venue with small bar upstairs. They seem to be hosting regular, varied events, so OSA can become a frequent hub and foster a lovely, creative community! We'll be back for sure!

The most amazing space run by the most amazing people. Phenomenal live music of all sorts of genres, and food so delicious you forget it’s vegan. Lots of gluten free options, and some of the best fries you can find in Windsor. The club sandwich is a must have. Don’t miss an opportunity to visit here! You won’t regret it 🙌. I would give more stars if I could.

OSA Windsor is an absolute gem and a fantastic find! From the moment you get there, you're transported by its unique bohemian continental European feel. The atmosphere is simply wonderful – vibrant yet relaxed, making it a truly great venue for any occasion. Highly recommend this unique spot!

Other Space Arts is a fantastic new arts cafe and venue in Windsor, Berkshire. Founded by just the most lovely couple and supported by a great team this cool venue and community space is run by and for lovers of the creative arts and it is a very special place to spend time. Upstairs is a thoughtfully designed performance space with a bar, gallery wall and music store. Downstairs is a bar and cafe serving top quality vegan food and drink with DJ space so your visit is always soundtracked by great vibes. With an exciting programme of events lined up, this place really is a gem and fast becoming a key spot in the Windsor arts scene. A must-visit!

I come here regularly with my partner for dinner dates, gigs, poetry nights, metal, vinyl, and good wine. Other Space is exactly what every town needs, a welcoming, creative space run by people who care. The food’s fantastic, the drinks are spot on, and the vibe’s always warm and genuine. Pic isn’t my partner, it’s my mate smashing a Focaccia vegan roll. Obviously.

Pancake restaurant
If you're on the hunt for a unique pancake experience, look no further than Fuwafuwa, the UK's first and original Japanese pancake store. Known for their handcrafted souffle pancakes, each order is made fresh using a secret recipe that guarantees an incredibly light and fluffy texture. These pancakes are not your typical dense breakfast fare; they offer a delightful alternative that's both airy and perfectly balanced in sweetness.
Fluffy Fluffy, renowned for its Japanese soufflé pancakes, has opened its latest café at 10 Peascod Street in Windsor. The café offers freshly made, airy pancakes topped with various fruits, creams, syrups, and house-made sauces like tiramisu and Nutella. To celebrate its opening, Fluffy Fluffy hosted a launch event featuring a free roulette game, allowing patrons to win an array of gifts. The combination of delightful desserts and engaging promotions has quickly made Fluffy Fluffy a must-visit spot in Windsor.

I have to admit, I was hesitant about going here and thought it might just be a novelty, but I was pleasantly surprised. While I wouldn’t say it’s as good as a traditional British pancake, it was definitely tasty and even inspired me to try making my own. My main issue was the wait time—it took about 20 minutes for my order. If there had been indoor seating, it wouldn't have been a problem, but since all seating was outdoors, waiting in the cold wasn't very enjoyable. Would I go back? Probably not, as I don't feel it was worth the £15.40 I paid for a small shake and Japanese pancakes.
Bob J — Google review
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hands down the best Japanese pancakes I’ve ever had! It’s honestly hard to stay away. I told myself we’d only go once a month as a little treat… but that quickly went out the window. We’ve already been more than that! The pancakes are so fluffy, so fresh, and perfectly made every time. Yes, they do take about 15–20 minutes to prepare, so it’s not a grab-and-go place but trust me, it’s 100% worth the wait. The staff is lovely too. The guy behind the till actually remembered our usual order even though we’ve only been there three times and hadn’t visited in a few weeks. That kind of service is rare and makes the experience even better. Every visit has been spot on: from the service to the taste to the whole vibe. If you’re craving proper Japanese soufflé pancakes, this is the place to go.

FuwaFuwa at Windsor is a must-visit for pancake lovers! From the moment you walk in, the friendly and welcoming staff make you feel right at home. Their pancakes are nothing short of perfection—light, fluffy, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Each bite is a delightful experience, with just the right balance of sweetness and texture. Whether you’re indulging in their classic options or trying something more adventurous, the quality is consistently top-notch. The cozy ambiance, coupled with exceptional service, makes it a perfect spot for any occasion. Highly recommended for a truly delightful pancake experience!

This dessert shop is a hidden gem for anyone craving Japanese fluffy pancakes! The pancakes were incredibly light, airy, and melt-in-your-mouth soft. Each plate was beautifully presented and topped with just the right amount of sweetness. The were many options fpr toppings and the pistachio one was especially delicious. The cozy ambiance and friendly staff made the experience even better. Perfect spot for a sweet treat or a cute date!
Carlos F — Google review
Service was excellent and the pancakes were quick to arrive. We had the pistachio milk and for 9.90 it was exceptionally filling. The pancake itself was fluffy, with the pistachio sauce being flavourful. The accompanying chopped pistachios added a nice texture. Would recommend to anyone who wants to give it a try.

Very tasty fluffy japanese pancakes! & the honeycomb iced latte was delicious as well. Unfortunately didn’t try pistachio milk pancake as it was out of stock but hopefully next time.
Arthur W — Google review
I'm not the biggest fan of pancakes as I find traditional pancakes too dense and filing, these are a perfect alternative. Light, fluffy and not too sweet, these perfectly compliment their toppings. I was afraid that these might taste a bit eggy as some fluffy souffle-esque dishes might but I was pleasantly surprised. Not eggy at all. So far I have tried their Premium Original and Strawberry and Nutella ones and they were both incredible. I would highly recommend the Premium Original as a first timer. The staff is very friendly. The only downside is the wait time can be a lot but as these are freshly made and require some technique, I can't complain. The staff did inform us of the wait time and apologised if it took too long. I would also love indoor seating as that's not an option and it can be a bit cold waiting outside
