Lovely little pub/restaurant with a huge conservatory and outdoor patio dining area. The food is exceptional and Steaks to die for probably one of the nicest Pieces of meat I’ve had served in front of me with Great presentation. Judging by how busy the large car park gets it’s a very popular place for many people.

Best restaurant I have been to in Surrey for many years. everything was beyond top standard. All our meal choices were superb and we are already planning for a revisit to try the Sunday roast or and steak. Such a chilled relaxing atmosphere, staff very pleasant and attentive. couldn’t ask for more, plus the grounds are beautiful inside and out. So glad I came across this hidden gem I can’t wait to return.

The Spotted Cow is such a lovely pub – the food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. The menu had a great variety, and everything we tried was full of flavour. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with that perfect balance of cosy and lively. The staff were friendly and attentive, which really made the experience even better. A wonderful spot for both a relaxed meal or a special evening out – we’ll definitely be coming back soon!

I recently visited The Spotted Cow Pub in Farnham, and despite it being a bit of a journey, it was absolutely worth it. The interior is charming and cozy, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home. I ordered the chicken and chorizo skewers, which were accompanied by grilled vegetables and a refreshing minty sauce. The skewers were flavourful, and the combination with the vegetables and sauce was delightful. The food was delicious, the ambiance was great, and I will definitely be returning to The Spotted Cow. It’s a hidden gem that’s well worth the visit.

We had a great time for Sunday lunch. We went quite late in the day and they were very informative straight away about which roasts they had left and obviously had made adjustments to try and give as many options as possible. The main was very tasty but the dessert! The desserts were incredible! We will definitely go again.

Very lovely pub (more a restaurant really). A bit of a drive from the town center, but in a very nice, forestry area near Bourne Woods. The food was good, even though I thought it was a bit expensive. The conservatory and the terrace fantastic. The service was very good. Overall, very recommended.

You can always expect a good all day brunch from Bill’s, huge portion size and everything other than the black pudding (a bit dry) is pretty perfect. Also ordered the summer special: BBQ tray which was quite decent, the highlight was the sausage which was very flavourful. Top notch service and super friendly staffs too

We recently took up the £5 pancake offer at Bill’s Farnham. The pancakes were absolutely delicious - fluffy, filling, and very generous in portion size. Although it was an unlimited offer, one plate each was more than enough for us! It was quite loud inside, which isn’t surprising for a busy Friday evening, but the lively atmosphere added to the experience. The staff were really attentive throughout, making sure we had everything we needed. Overall, a great spot for a casual and tasty treat - we’d happily return! 🥞

My wife, friend, and I dined on a weekday afternoon with our miniature dachshund. The team could not have been more welcoming and the service was attentive. We all enjoyed our meals and atmosphere made for a relaxing leisurely lunch. The manager was happy to discuss our friend’s dietary requirements and he even mopped up after our dog knocked his water bowl over! We all really enjoyed our visit and would definitely recommend Bill’s in Farnham.

We just left the restaurant, and as always bill's standards never let us down. The staff was very welcoming and professional, our waiter Zoya did a great job and the food we ordered was very tasty. Overall everything was great, the only minor issue was the chicken wings served as side with the blockbuster burger, they were a bit dry.

Went in with low expectations during a business trip to Farnham but we had a super evening at Bill's... Food and drinks were great, came out in good time and everything was very nice. Gyozas on the starter sharing platter were my favourite dish. The atmosphere and staff (in particular - waiter from Brazil and waitress with piercings) were absolutely great and we received the best and most friendly service I've had in years... Sincere and genuine friendly/caring service which is hard to find these days. 100% recommended and we will come back for sure next time we're visiting Farnham...!

We love Bills in Farnham. Tried the Third Monkey for our anniversary, not impressed for the money and there was a power cut so had to leave. Went to Bills who were super friendly and welcoming and we had a great evening with great food and it’s good value. What more can you ask for! We go here often for Sunday brunch too as it’s the best in Farnham.

We stopped here for lunch on a busy bank holiday Monday. The staff found us a table and the food was excellent. Service is great, friendly and helpful. The menu and specials were all tempting and the final choices we made excellent.

What a wonderful restaurant. I was very impressed by the staff as they couldn't do enough to help but weren't pestering you they were just around if you needed something. All of them looked really smart too. The food was really tasty and there was so much choice. Something for everyone with prices to suit everyone's pocket. Lovely food, lovely staff and lovely decor which made for a really special evening. We will definitely return.

Very popular restaurant with a nice varied menu. Can get very busy, especially in the evenings and this may impact speed of service. However, we had no problem with the speed at which our food was served and enjoyed 3 courses.

We bloody love their pizza as you’ll see from the few pictures 🤣 🍕 !! High praise indeed! Staff are all gorgeous warm and wonderful and it’s always a pleasure to pop in for a cheeky Peroni and wait for take away. Having spent the last year hanging around every other week for pizzas All the other dishes look absolutely amazing stood admiring people‘s dinners for many a visit. If all you try is the pizza, you won’t be disappointed always worth the drive always worth the wait and the staff will look after you ! Oh and the garlic bread is pretty bloody good too!

Second visit and it has not disappointed, it was busy even for a Tuesday night but the service was excellent and the prices are very reasonable. I took my colleague from China and she said it was the best Italian she has ever tasted and so many different flavours. Thank you!!!

This is a very busy restaurant with limited parking available. We managed to get the last space in the car park. We had the table squashed in by the front door which wasn’t great as people were constantly going past us. We must have had 4 different waiters/waitresses and none were very attentive. The food and drink were excellent but the service definitely let it down.

Found a beautiful place in and out with amazing food , all day kitchen(well from 12.00 till 21.00) so you dont have to wait till 19.00 to eat. 09.00 weeked starting with breakfast. So quiet in the nature pub. Lovely staff. Nice big garden. Just amazing and tranquil ....

First time visiting, celebrating a birthday. Staff were welcoming and pleasant. The food was good, although I had to ask for a sauce for the lovely pie as it was quite dry. Very surprised as it was a Monday and quite quiet that the service was VERY slow. We were not in a rush, but it could have been an issue, particularly if there had been more people. We will definitely go back soon and give it another try.

Really good food and a great place to sit and have a drink. We took children with us who had a great time in the park in the garden. Staff were also very friendly!

Lovely pub and great food. The steak was cooked perfectly and the nduja ketchup was excellent. The Caffè latte gelato that came with the coffee and chocolate gateau deserves a special mention too.

Nice venue, friendly staff and place was very busy. But the food was just ok, it was unnecessarily expensive with ridiculously small portions. Sunday roast pork belly was tiny, potatoes and the greens were cold. £21 for a bacon cheeseburger is extortionate. Best thing was the gravy and the apple tart for dessert.

I had a delightful meal here. The vegetable tagine was rich and creamy with the perfect amount of heat. The giant coucous was mixed in with the dish and made it quite filling. When asked, the waitress suggested we may want to order sides so we added broccoli and fries but found we couldn't finish them as the tagines and bread were more filling than anticipated. Service was quick and friendly!

We enjoyed a very pleasant lunch here. The service was quick and all the staff were friendly and inviting. The menu provided something for everyone and our whole group left highly satisfied with their meals. The dauphinois potato’s we’re so crispy on top yet rich and creamy underneath. All the meat we ordered was well cooked and moist and accompanied with deep flavourful sauces. We would certainly recommend a visit here.

Visited for the first time recently to celebrate our anniversary and was very pleasantly surprised. We ordered from the set menu and the quality and portion size of the food was very good. The French Onion Soup was delicious. Very good value for money. We sat outside and it was such a lvely atmosphere. Staff very friendly. Looking forward to visiting again.

Visited on a Saturday night, the place was fairly busy, with all the outside seating packed. Overall, it had a good atmosphere. The guy who seated us seemed unsure at first about where to put us but worked it out in the end. The servers/waiters were very friendly and helpful with the menu. The food was good, though not outstanding. A little pricey, but not unreasonable. A tip was automatically added to the bill, which I’m not a fan of, yes, I know it can be removed, but that’s not the point.

May 17th 2024. Arrived at 3:00 pm for late lunch early dinner. Sat outside with a blue spring sky above and a gentle breeze. I had : Poulet Breton Rôti 17.75 Responsibly reared in Northern France Corn-fed marinated roasted half chicken, served with confit potatoes and a herb salad 597 kcal With the Recommended with Sauce Diane 2.75 37 kcal Very tasty but looked like Chicken and chips! The herb salad was a few sprigs of parsley with a small slice of onion! It was cooked very well and was flavoursome. Seemed very expensive as we had to buy the greens also. The waiter was very helpful in letting us know that one portion would be enough for two people. My husband had : Fish Parmentier 15.75 Haddock, prawns & salmon in a white wine & leek sauce, topped with potato purée and a Comté crust, served with a herb salad 640 kcal It was delicious, I was informed. For pudding we had the apple Tarte Tatin which was superb and generous, with a decent scoop of ice cream. Because of the waiter’s help, the delicious tarte tatin and the lovely atmosphere, we would revisit. In fact the waiter was brilliant on every level, kind, chatty but not too much, attentive and made us feel important and well looked after.

Birthday get together with friends and Cote is our go to. We were left very disappointed in the recent changes to a more brasserie style set up. Even the new menu design had a cheaper look/layout, no glassware or cutlery on the tables. FOOD-The food-not up to the standard we would expect for the place we knew, especially as prices are not cheap. Filet steak not prepared to request, sides expensive and struggled to share between 2 as portion size reduced. Frites- well these are now chunky chips and looked as if they'd been thrown on the plate rather than nicely presented in a small bowl. We all felt very disappointed as we always looked forward toeating here for special occasions. SERVICE- we couldn't have asked for better, attentive, informative, listened to our feedback and dealt effectively with the issues we raised. It was a busy Friday night and we were very looked after, such a shame we came away disappointed with the food and all said not sure we'd rush back.

Home From a beautiful meal with three of my friends at the Farnham restaurant. Sadly for the staff, there was a bit of a glitch with the till system and unbelievably customers were giving them grief despite being offered the whole meal for free. I think all members of staff handled it incredibly well and continued with courtesy even went under an incredible amount of stress. I certainly will be returning for another portion of French onion soup.

My husband and I had been wanting to try Heaven's Kitchen for a while and finally booked a date night after seeing a 2-1 Steak offer. We had heard from friends that it was good but our experience exceeded all expectations. The decor is modern and feels cozy, with an excellent use of space. The staff were all friendly, attentive and welcoming. The food was honestly some of the best food we've eaten in the UK. The entire meal (fillet steak, chips, onion rings and blue cheese sauce) was cooked to perfection. The chef did an incredible job and we're already planning our next visit.

The food is AMAZING!! Seriously I cannot fault the food here, the meat is incredible and I am huge a fan of the home made Tiramasu!! All the staff are really attentive, helpful and friendly, you really get an excellent service. We have visited twice now and will 100% be back, i would highly recommend this place

For mains, we went for the rump and brisket: Brisket - succulent and full of flavour Rump - exquisite! I was going to order medium rare but the staff said ‘can i recommend medium?’. Thank goodness i listened - the steak was cooked to perfection! I got it with peppercorn sauce - still delicious, but tbh, the steak was perfect on its own We both had skin on fries which were equally delicious Service Slick, professional and courteous. This restaurant had a high rating so decided to book for our anniversary. Definitely deserves to be a highly rated restaurant. Will most certainly return.

My wife and I feel like we’ve grown up with Heaven’s Kitchen. They now have a few branches but this is the original location. It opened just after we moved to the area. As we were refurbishing our house at the time and had a long time without a kitchen, we had to eat out lot during that time. So, we got to know the staff well In those early days, the weakness was consistency as they seemed to go through quite a few chefs. Still, we loved the bruschetta and mushroom risotto, which sadly aren’t on the menu any more Yesterday, we came back after not coming for awhile. Service was a bit slow but very friendly - there were just 2 staff working flat out. The food was really tasty. Bone marrow, seafood linguine and ribeye steak were all wolfed down Great to see HK flourishing

Free street parking on Sundays in Castle street, pay a little bit attention, only for a certain area, some areas in castle street are for resident only.

Lovely pub, had the midweek special of 2 courses for £17.95 - very reasonable. Goats cheese tart was lovely and cheesy, pork medallions were well grilled, bordering on too tough but still nice and meaty. Could do with more sauce but excellent for the price these days

We had a family gathering in one of the special rooms upstairs. They were very very busy, not enough serving staff, to deal with downstairs, and the function rooms upstairs. Although very polite, service was slow. The food was not good. ! Very little veg, and a cheesecake that was frozen in the middle. But the function room upstairs was gorgeous … just a real shame the food spoiled it !

I stopped in for a light dinner and was not disappointed. Service was on point throughout the meal. The pork cheeks were delightfully tender and the sauce plate-scrapingly good. I added the sticky rice to round out the dish, and this proved to be the perfect accompaniment. The dessert, although tasty, was not what I expected when I ordered a Salted Caramel Soufflé as it was not a soufflé but rather an ice cream sandwich type thing. They should change the description to be more apropos and not disappoint anyone who is waiting for a warm soufflé. (My absolute favourite dessert.)

Disappointing takeaway. Ordered rice and cashew chicken stir fry. Got neither. Stir fry and no nuts in but there was a pot labelled nuts that looked like dust. The stir fry was pretty tasteless. After a call there was an offer to send rice but at that point kind of no point 😒

Lovely evening spent with family. Risotto is highly recommended as are the desserts. Banoffee pie was gorgeous. We had an excellent server Miren. Attentive and friendly. Thank you Miren. Very clean and toilets clean and well decorated. Always a good sign. It was busy. Obviously popular with locals but not loud and easy to talk. Food arrived in good time, hot and freshly made. Highly recommend a visit.

Exceptional in every way. The pizza was genuinely the best we’d all ever had, and that includes holidays to Italy! The service was excellent, friendly staff and attentive. I can never get enough of Piccolo’s, hands down one of my top restaurants to eat at. The food is always so fresh and the staff are friendly and accommodating. Make sure to try the Gamberettoni!

I somehow manager to book a table for 5:15 pm instead of 7:15. in spite of the [lace being busy he managed to sort us out a table. we had the most splendid meal, in a lovely environment with great atmosphere. Excellent Italian food with a great ambiance. Want cozy? Dine downstairs. Want higher ceilings and more light? Done upstairs. Food ranges in price so there is something for everyone. I really enjoyed the mushroom chicken risotto. Just the right portion. Doesn't come with any extras so if you want a side salad you need to add that but that's fine. And for summer dining they kept just cool enough with their AC, even upstairs.

What a fantastic restaurant! Food was delicious, we had arancini to start, and two pasta dishes which were very tasty, and a lovely tiramisu to finish. Service was fantastic too and the price very reasonable, under £80 for two starters, two mains a dessert, two alcoholic drinks and a tip!

I’ve been here twice now whilst visiting Farnham. The first visit was amazing! Great service and the food was delicious. We decided to go again because we loved it so much, however, it wasn’t as good the second time around unfortunately. We ordered many of the same meals as previously and they all seemed slightly different, although still tasty! We also had to wait quite a while for a table even though there was hardly anyone there haha. One of the waitresses did explain to us that they were short staffed so longer service was understandable. Overall we’ve had lush food both times and would probably go again!

Glorious sunny August day but the outside tables looked too grubby to eat at. The drinks menu had no alcohol free wine or spirits (informed they used to have 0% gin but no longer), such a shame. We opted for sparkling water! The staff were all pleasant. Our party opted for the classic pizzas and a sharing board. All of it was delicious.

This is my mum and I’s second time at Zizzi’s in Farnham. First time round really wasn’t good due to the pasta tasting like chemicals and washing up liquid, however this evening was impeccable. The food we had was amazing and really enjoyed it. One thing we do have to say though, is that both times we went we had Lucas as our waiter. He always presented with a smile and was so kind about anything. He wasn’t only nice with us, he was lovely with others too.

We had a fantastic experience at Zizzi’s today, thanks especially to Clara who looked after us. She had excellent knowledge of allergens and made us feel completely at ease when ordering. The food and drinks were amazing – the garlic bread was delicious, the bruschetta was honestly the best I’ve ever had, and the spaghetti pomodoro was simple but full of flavour. The aubergine meatball vegan pizza was a standout, especially with the garlic alioli dip on the side. Clara’s service was very attentive throughout, and the whole meal felt like excellent value for money. We’ll definitely be coming back!

We have celebrated our friend's 50th bday. Our requests were all accomodated. Best service from start to finish. Best food and Best ambiance.

My friend and I visited for the first time last night and we both left with full bellies and very impressed. The service from when we arrived was excellent. We enjoyed some lovely mocktails (blackcurrant mock-ito is highly recommended), some delicious starters (chicken satay and Khanom Pang Nar Goong - a prawn fried toast that is a must-try!), and delicious mains, we would both recommend the Pad See Aew and the Moo Pad Med Mamuang (pork with cashew nuts). The restaurant was beautifully decorated and it was lovely to feel relaxed, unhurried and able to enjoy our meal at an easy pace. We have both said we will definitely be back.

Thai Lotusland is the original Thai restaurant in Farnham, before Giggling Squid arrived. They don’t have their own car park but it’s a short walk from the nearest public car park Our go to meal here are the mixed starters, lamb massaman, tamarind duck and coconut rice or pad Thai. The food is also served with amazing food carvings (don’t eat those!) Service us always with warm Thai hospitality and there are authentic Thai touches including floor seating

I’ve visited this Thai restaurant several times over the past year and have always enjoyed the food and the warm, welcoming service. There’s usually a lovely gentleman who serves us—he’s consistently polite, helpful, and accommodating, which has always made our visits a pleasure. However, today I was left quite disappointed. We visited around 6pm today and were served by a female waiter who, unfortunately, had a very dismissive and unprofessional attitude. When I asked a simple question about one of the dishes, she curtly responded, “Just read the menu,” and said she didn’t know. There was no attempt to assist or even be polite, which really took away from the overall experience. What made the situation even more uncomfortable was that I observed her interacting with a nearby table where the customer was of a different ethnicity—and her attitude toward them was noticeably more pleasant, attentive, and friendly. The stark contrast in how we were treated felt discriminatory and left a very sour impression. This experience was disheartening, especially given the positive interactions I’ve had in the past. I sincerely hope the management addresses this, as consistency and respectful treatment of all guests are crucial. The food remains excellent, and the usual staff are great—but this kind of behaviour really needs to be looked into.

i mean what can i say? the nelson is a lovely pub with lovely staff and food. came at 3pm for a sunday roast with my partner. greeted by chris who led us to a gorgeous table and very promptly had drinks orders taken. we shared a bottle of rioja and it was lovely. had three courses each,! for starters we got the cauliflower fritters and the popcorn shrimp, both amazing choices and so crispy. i opted for the lamb roast dinner which was absolutely gorgeous and my boyfriend had the pork. the portion size was amazing and a side of cauliflower cheese was delicious! i had the sticky toffee pudding for desert and what a good choice that was! service was amazing; chris and harriett were stars, making sure we had everything we needed and were perfectly okay with everything. both a real asset to the team and made our experience a10/10 ! big shout out to carl the chef!! what a beautiful meal he puts together

The Caesar salad was overly seasoned and the taste of the dressing was overpowering. My husband even found a dead caterpillar in his plate. We asked to order another dish, but since it was the end of the chef’s shift, that wasn’t possible. In the end, we agreed not to pay for his meal.

Amazing chicken bacon and leek pie, the best we had. Good portion, very tasty gravy and silky mash potatoes. The sweetest service and a very authentic old pub vibe. Very good experience. Highly recommended. I will come back

We went for a Sunday evening meal. Both vegetarians, we sometimes struggle. We both got the Veggie Burgers with onion rings. A great portion size and quality food. We don't drink so cant rate the alcohol but plenty of people seemed to be enjoying it!

Unexpectedly walked into this amazing pub and felt transported back to the 16th century! Lovely atmosphere with the best wait staff - Joe - who tirelessly waited on tables with such a charm and genuine bubbliness to him. He made the experience there so much more memorable. The food was great pub grub with a slight more finesse than my usual go to. Exquisite. The chef said his desserts were good and I totally agree. Well worth the time and money! Would definitely recommend and come here again.

Absolutely lovely lunch here in Megan’s Farnham for a very special occasion. My husband and I were treated to a very unexpected glass of prosecco by the welcoming manager and our lunch was simply delicious. Out waitress Evie was superb .. thank you so much for a wonderful celebration trip.

Always a lovely experience here, me and my other half usually come here for some lovely food but tonight we decided to partake in the happy hour cocktail menu from 3-6. The cocktails were lovely, our waiter Ella was bubbly and kind and took amazing care of us. Will be returning!!

You really can’t tell what a beautiful place this is from outside, it’s so welcoming and friendly when you walk in, especially if you are lucky enough to have Amber looking after you. Comfortable seating, beautiful interior, lighting and a variety of materials and textures make this a feast for the eyes as well as the great food.

A family celebration and it was superb! Food was delicious but the whole experience made memorable by the exceptional customer service (a very rare find these days!) delivered with warmth and sincerity from both Carlin & Ella R. One of our party had allergies and we were very impressed at how these were handled… A lovely evening! Thank you both. :)

Absolutely amazing place. Fabulous prices for what you get, incredible, authentic atmosphere, friendly staff. The food is delicious and looks exactly like the pictures! Couldn’t recommend enough if you have the money (~£20-30 per person)

The sushi quality vs price was good! Two people, we paid £50 The selection is varied enough to hit the sweet-spot of everyone’s taste. The wait wasn’t massive, the waitresses were really nice so nothing to point out other than: We made a reservation for the evening and we arrived with two 2-people empty tables and the receptionist still insisted on putting us at the bar, we had to decline of course. They put us at the table in the end, but not great! Would have been 5 stars service if not for that.

Delicious food. Service was a bit slow. My mum and I finished our mains and my bf's main didn't come out yet. Nice small restaurant Price was good. Spent £74 for 3mains and 1 starter and a volcano sushi. Oh and volcano sushi was a lil disappointing as it didn't have that nice charred flavour on the salmon.

Sushi Jun is a little gem of a restaurant in Farnham. We’re lucky to have such a lovely izakaya style Japanese restaurant here in the Surrey countryside Everything is freshly made, so food will arrive as it’s ready. The menu covers a lot of favourites - tempura, Hirata buns, sushi, udon noodles, donburi rice bowls. It won’t be a cheap evening out but it’ll be delicious

Been going here for a while and it’s hands down the best Japanese restaurant I’ve ever been to! The food is amazing, authentic, looks just like the photos and the atmosphere’s lovely. I can’t recommend this place enough!! If you like Japanese food, are in farnham and have the budget ABSOLUTELY go here.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Never had bad service and the food is outrageous. After visiting Japan a couple of times, Sushi Jun is genuinely one of the most authentic experiences I have had in the UK.

Nobody wants to write a bad review, but sometimes you just have to, in the hope that it helps. The front of house people in Veena's restaurant today were lovely and the service was excellent, however this was some of the worst Thai food I'd ever experienced. We tried this restaurant because of the earlier reviews and because it advertised itself as authentic, but unfortunately there was nothing authentic about this Thai food. Everything was processed and extremely sweet and to be honest, inedible (so sickly) after a few mouthfuls. Nobody at our table finished their meal, so not sure if they were having an off day, but none of the dishes looked anything like the pictures online. For some very good reasons I know and understand decent Thai food and this was just the pits, but having said all of that, it's a lovely place to sit and chill if you aren't hungry :-)

We popped into Veena's Kitchen on a bit of a whim yesterday evening and can say with confidence it was the best Thai food I've had in years. The starters were tasty (chicken wings & prawn crackers) & the Thai Green Curry was delicious & punchy. My partner had the Pad Gra Phrao which was also very tasty. Service was impeccable & the total bill reasonable. I can highly recommend a visit. We'll be back very soon!

The food was to die for! We went for a casual lunch, walked in off the street. It wasn't quiet, which is always a good sign. One young lady working front of house, but she was fast, efficient and friendly. Food was served relatively quickly and presented brilliantly. All ingredients were obviously fresh and the dishes we had were amazing.

This place feels more like a café than a full-service restaurant. When we booked, I had checked the older menu prices, so I was surprised to find how expensive it has become. The food itself was mixed. The massaman curry was enjoyable, but the pad Thai was unusually orange in colour and had an odd flavour I couldn't quite place. It reminded me of one other place that makes it in a similar style I also didn’t enjoy—it just wasn’t what I was expecting from a traditional pad Thai. The biggest issue for me, however, was the pricing and added charges. £16 for a chicken pad Thai and £17 for a beef curry already felt steep. But what really put me off was being charged £2 for sweet chilli sauce on top of £4.95 for Thai prawn crackers. It seems unreasonable not to include a small sauce with the crackers—it made the experience feel unnecessarily transactional. To top it off, when I asked to take home the rest of my noodles, they said it would be a 50p charge for the takeaway box. I understand businesses need to cover costs, but charging for a small plastic container feels excessive. Combined with the lack of a water refill (despite asking), it all added up to a feeling that they were trying to squeeze every last penny from the customer. In the end, I removed the tip to make up for the extra charges, which left a sour note on what I hoped would be a great experience. Overall, I left feeling disappointed and unlikely to return.

Lovely Thai place in Farnham with great service. It was easy to reserve a table of 6 over the phone and had great food options, including vegan, vegetarian, and some gluten-free choices! The photos are of the Pad Thai Tofu and a side of the Spring Rolls, both of which were excellent portion sizes and great in flavour. The waitress we had asked the table if anyone had any allergens, and she even asked me if I wanted the egg in my Pad Thai to make it vegan instead of vegetarian. The restaurant opens at 5:30, but the little shop towards the back where you can buy various drinks and snacks is open before 5:30, and they are also open for takeaway boba drinks as well. Definitely will dine with Veena's Kitchen again 💕

I don't know much about Thai cuisine, but if that's the real flavours of Thailand I do want to explore more! The dishes were well balanced, full of flavour and seasoned to perfection. Each dish had a decent amount of meat, nicely done as well. Even if you're not fond of specific flavours, still give it a go, composition will blow your mind. Black lemon tea and pancakes were like a cherry on top. As per the restaurant itself, it's very clean, comfortable and the staff is amazingly friendly. We'll definitely be back soon!

Ordered twice in three day.Best Thai food in Farnham. Very good takeaway, must try the green curry! Lunch special with great value.I recommend it.

I went here a couple of years ago and wasn’t impressed at all, the atmosphere was ‘off’ and it was freezing cold in there. However, we ended up in there again recently and it was the total opposite, loved it! Shelley and Molly are so friendly and the drinks were lovely, we even got to try some new cocktails they are testing - which were delicious! So glad I gave it another go, will definitely be back!

Staff were unaware of how to make a Manhatten! Let alone having the ingredients! I want this place to be better because a cocktail bar in a town is a good thing.

Honestly quite funny seeing the rave reviews here. The cocktails are terrible. Buy some limes. Stop using jif for your drinks. It tastes like drain cleaner. Look at this sad margarita. Look at it. Tonight thank god it's them, instead of you. Ps: they dehydrate limes on the floor, centimetres away from your feet. Photo attached.

Went last night, the atmosphere was great with the three musicians playing there, a nice woman singer joined and sounded even greater, they really filled the room with nice music. Cocktail's and service were excellent. Would recommend to go with friends, feel comfortable and have a good night.

This is a very large pub that has quite a number of TVs, video screens, etc. showing a variety of sports. The price of the drinks is very reasonable and the bar staff are pleasant and efficient. There are various types of seating, ranging from high stools around circular tables to lounge-style sofas around larger round tables. The only slight niggle during my visit was the temperature of this pub, which was quite cold.

First time visiting will not be returning unfortunately, great service friendly bar staff let down by the clouds of vape smoke every 5 mins and obvious drug taking in cubicles of ladies toilet .

I recently had my work Christmas do at The George and I can’t recommend it enough! We had the best time! Food was great, and we took advantage of the 241 cocktails! Great atmosphere and book a booth if you can (top tip) Thanks to Mo for being so welcoming, and as if they had Santa too! So much fun

20/01/2024 saturday i went in just to have a quality time with my sister as i have not been out in a while. But.... i asked for a yegabomb which i usually prefer to have. But the bartender guy with (silver hair) only gave me a yega shot with like a very little amount of redbull in it which woukd not have and requested him to atleast have a little more amount of the rebull in it to match the level of the yega shot. The bartender was like that is what we give!! Honestly i work in a bar myself and i think its fair to have redbull topup to match the level of the yega shot. He literally returned back the redbull back in the fridge as i stood there wondering why he wouldn't fill up my glass. Asked me to pay instead??? And I stood there thinking what????? But seriously i was really surprised and very disappointed in that behaviour. I have always loved going george but yearerday the bartender made me feel i woukd never go there again... p.s i have never seen that bartender before in george. Had met lovely bartender there before but the experience i had yesterday was unbelievable.

Popped in for breakfast what a love pub. So clean,the staff are really friendly and very helpful. Mo talked me through the ingredients and helped with my allergies . Would highly recommend.

My daughters train was delayed so had to kill half an hour I ordered a Guinness 0% and a Finger Licken burger. OMFG it was the best chicken burger I've ever had. And it was weds special £9 so all in a pint in a gorgeous sunny beer garden and a banging burger for £15 I was VERY happy.

Ok pub not a bad place to meet people if you’re going out in Farnham as right near the station. Guy at the bar was more interested in chatting to his mates than serving us.

Awesome pub in Farnham, very unique as it has an older feel to it in certain areas of the pub and then other parts have been modified to look new and trendy. So it caters for all ages. The bar itself has a really cool station feel to it and the selection of drinks is very impressive. Loads on tab and loads of spirits on offer. Staff were friendly and the menu was cool with loads of burgers and dirty fries. Overall a great happy experience and we especially enjoyed sitting near the fireplace in the back room.

We visited The Mulberry on the morning of my wedding to watch the final Lions test against Australia. We booked an area outside in advance and the team at The Mulberry were fantastic to deal with on the booking process over phone and email. They opened in good time and had a fantastic outside TV area and had reserved lots of tables for us to watch the match from. Would definitely go to watch sport there again if I was in the area. The Guinness was also great!

Came for drinks with a work crowd, soon got crowded out by the regular crowd. Not sure if it were a student night or the norm. Did not feel like a good mix of ages, a very young crowd overall. Garden space is a nice surprise, plenty of room and a hidden gem. Close to train station, I suppose for a quick getaway.

Came down to visit some old uni mates and stopped here for a few beers and a bit of food, lovely garden and the staff were very nice, Aaron was looking after us and made us feel very welcome. If he offers you hot wings, call the police. Also all great, but mushy peas need some work. All round, highly recommend

So me and my wife went there today there food was amazing grilled fish was done to perfection starters were great and apple crumble with custard was amazing great service from Sarah would highly recommend for delicious food and 5 star service.

Went here with some friends to get a light takeaway of chips, onion rings, and some sausages. They were all good, although a bit too much salt for my personal taste. I think the word "traditional" definitely fits this place well. It felt like what I would have expected from English food. The service was also nice and I have no complaints about it.

Really good service for party of 10. Hallomi fries were nice. Fish and chips in choice of small,medium or large. Fresh and nicely cooked. Young lady who served us was cheerful and efficient. Hadn't been here for years but will return soon.

Not sure if it was my race or age but she was super friendly to everyone else in the restaurant. For a moment I thought I offended her even though we barely talked😂. I don’t think I’m going back. I have been looking for a replacement Chinese since the local one in Sandy Hill sadly closed and I had high hopes for Tasty House after people recommended it, however I wasn't overly convinced. The food was okay, but for the price I did expect something better. The food was ready almost too quickly, and the prawns didn't taste freshly cooked. I am sorry to say, but it tasted like a microwave Chinese meal, hence why my low rating.

Never had a problem here before, but the young man taking the order seemed disinterested in the order and when the food arrived it was truly awful. The sauce which was supposed to be black bean was thick and looked off and the taste was gross, please don’t continue with these poor standards as I have used tasty house for over 30 years and would hate to go elsewhere.

DO NOT ORDER A DELIVERY FROM HERE Ordered a delivery via the website and selected a time slot. Waited 15mins after time slot and no order arrived , called and was told they were still waiting for the driver to get back and it would be another 20mins. Waited for another half an hour and still no delivery, called back again and was told it would now be at least another 20mins again so over an hour after the original slot. Order cancelled. Dreadful service and will never be using again

The Beef Chow Mein was luke warm and the Butterfly Prawns were so over cooked making them almost tasteless and so tough to eat (chew). The quality is nowhere as good as it used to be and therefore over priced. It is a shame as the food used to be very good. 11.10.25

We’ve just ordered from there and ordered roasted duck with plum sauce and pancakes and have received duck with pineapples! We rang and told them and said we didn’t order this as I’m allergic to pineapples! The lady insisted we did, and asked if we could just take the pineapple out! Which is slightly worrying a food establishment that clearly doesn’t know much about how severe an allergy can be. They offered no way to rectify this matter and told us we should make sure when we order it?!

Really upped their game on the food recently! Quite busy sometimes when I order on the weekends but most the time the food comes on time!

After staying in Tilford we drove past Tasty House and decided to give it a try. Nice selection on the menu and very friendly staff. Food was very nice and portions a good size. I was very happy with the order and would use again

Great little place. Very convenient. Soup was very tasty and welcome on a cold December afternoon. Good coffee. Great sandwiches with a wide variety of filings. Lovely service. Don't miss the bread pudding or banana cake. Both are personal favourites. There are 2 little tables to sit in and eat otherwise most people get takeaway.

The sandwiches I get from here are the best sandwiches I have ever had! Not sure how to explain it but they are just delicious, the banana bread is amazing aswell! This is my new lunch place :)

I agree with other reviewers down here that they attempt to overcharge. I have never had a subway melt being charged extra because it’s a subway melt. This is the only branch that does that. I havnt had this issue in my more local area.

Today, we visited this branch and ordered a footlong Spicy Vegetarian sandwich. As my friend and I were planning to share it, we politely asked the female staff member if it could be split. She agreed and served it in two half with different sauces. However, when we went to pay at the till, we realised we were being charged for two separate half sandwiches. When we questioned this, the staff member insisted that they counted as two individual sandwiches and attempted to charge us a higher price. More concerningly, her attitude was extremely rude and aggressive. In the end, we were so frustrated that we left without taking our food. This branch is clearly trying to overcharge customers be careful!

When I attended this Subway, it was obvious that one of the two young women members of staff was being trained. I liked the way that matters were explained to her. Both of the members of staff were polite. The member of staff who served me changed her gloves before she touched the salad items, which was good to see as this is evidence of compliance with food hygiene standards. I have attended other Subways in which some of the members of staff had trouble communicating because they did not have a good grasp of the language. This was not the case at this particular location. Many thanks to the members of staff who assisted me.

Very disappointed with this branch. Staff seemed untrained and didn’t even know how to properly make a simple jacket potato. Butter was just shoved in with no care at all. Poor service and not up to Subway standards.

So today I ordered a meal deal that came with a sandwich cookie and a drink and I clearly asked for it and the the women tried to make the price go higher. I could not understand her as she foreign so I just agreed with it as she was being very rude. The price originally came to 2.20 but it went up to 7.39 which I was frustrated with. I asked the women why she did this and did not reply to me. I asked again and yet again I couldn't understand her and was starting to raise her voice. DO NOT GO HERE THIS PLACE WAS SHIT

Very rarely order takeaway and have it delivered and if we do it’s almost never a Chinese. However, tonight we just weren’t up for cooking and for some reason both fancied some noodles and thought we’d give our local takeaway a go. Ordering on their site was straightforward and easy. Delivery was extremely efficient and professional. Food I have to say was pretty good, all were warm, freshly cooked and tasty. Great experience

Good fish and chips from here. I would recommend and buy from here again. Great portion sizes and very reasonable prices - Large cod, regular chips and mushy peas cost £11.50. The freshly cooked-to-order cod was a decent size and was good quality fish. The only thing letting it down was that the batter was a little undercooked / still wet on the inside; it was crispy on the outside, not greasy and not too thick. A couple of minutes longer in the oil and probably would have been perfect. Nice chips, well cooked and not soggy or greasy and a generous portion sizes.

The food is substandard. Twice I've eaten from there and been ill. My advice stay away from any kind of sasuage. The chips are OK and the chow mein and lunch boxes they do. But only go here as a last resort IMO

Terrible food with terrible service. Ordered 2 medium chips to get home to find them cold and with a bad texture. Made my way back and explained to Boy 1 of my issue. Boy 1 then ignored me, walked around the back, came back and then picked up the phone that started ringing. Boy 2 then asked me if I was ok. I explained I was talking to boy 1 but my chips were bad. He then got the manager who told me they couldn't be bad as they were cooked 5/10mins ago. Explaining that they were and I may of got the batch before, she then angrily packed me 2 chips. Boy 2 explained to her I had salt and vinegar, the manager said to him "if he wants salt and vinegar, he can do it at home". Boy 2 handed me the chips, so I asked if I have to do salt and vinegar at home. "Yes" was his response. Make the journey and go into town for fish and chips, this shops standards have dropped significantly. And yes, the chips that were served the second time, were just as bad as the first.

Called in as our local chippy closed. Only comment is chips over cooked! Rest was great though and would return

Not usually the type of place I would visit but my friend I was with is a frequent customer, extremely disappointed in the food and attention to detail with the order. They failed to include the burger we paid for, the fish was soggy and more batter than fish. The food was extremely pricey for what it was and the ribs had very little bone to meat ratio. Everything was covered in a thick coating of vinegar. I would highly recommend avoiding this place and seek better local options. Rare I write a negative review but this place was extremely disappointing.

Driven past here hundreds of times but this evening my son asked if we could get some chips - as a treat I thought why not! Wish we hadn’t - chips were hard and dry (had probably been kept warm for ages) and slightly bitter (probably due to the cooking oil in need of changing). Most frustratingly I was curtly told “we don’t take card payments under £10” Really? It’s 2023 for goodness sake & long gone are any heavy charges on retailers levied by banks for taking debit card payments. The chap who sells coffee from a van near where I work will joyfully (and prefers to) take card payments for a couple of pounds. So, I had to (and seemed to be expected to) round up my £8.80 order to £10 just for the privilege of buying these awful chips. Bad impression of this place and safe to say won’t be returning. Kingfish by the Station sets a good standard round here. Sorry Jade Palace, you need to do so much better if you want customers to return.

Came in today and as soon as I got to the van I was greeted by a super friendly guy, put my order together almost instantly and perfectly, the portion size was great, the food? immaculate. I consider myself a kebab guy, I've had kapsalon in the Netherlands, gyros in a small town in Greece, and this was up there with the best of them. Everything tasted fresh, chips were golden brown and the doner was perfect, not greasy at all so you aren't left with that heavy feeling after eating it. Only place I'll go for a kebab round here now. Thanks guys!

I give one star for not accepting card payments(tax fraud,my Cypriot friend told exactly why they want only cash) so I had get money out of cash machine,extremely expensive,regular size mix Doner Kebab it's so small, almost the size of a small portion of chips and get this, is £10, RIP OFF, full of grease,makes you sick. The van or trailer was immaculate which is the reason why I stopped to get food I don't believe all the reviews are genuine but doesn't make sense Again RIP OFF THANK YOU, BYEEEEEEE

Good food, quick service, convenient location for parking and/or quickly stopping in to grab something a the staff are really friendly. One issue is the fact they only accept cash (as of December 2023) luckily there is a free cash machine nearby in the Sainsbury’s car park if required.

First time eating from here tonight and literally just finished it and it was beautiful. Best kebab I've ever had from a van, and best kebab I've had for a long time. I had a mixed regular kebab with a coke and it was under £10. The meat and salad all tasted and looked fresh and the 2 guys working the van were friendly, funny, and chatty. 100% will be going back especially as I work in farnham. Thank you!
