Had a takeaway away here today one of the best fish and chips I've had all cooked freshly really friendly staff who suggested places we could go whilst on holiday. Highly recommend 👌

Passed through Chichester the other day and stopped to grab something for lunch. I did have concerns as im someone that doesnt like heavy greasy batter on their fish and this tends to be a theme with a lot of chippy's at the moment. I ordered a Cod and Chips to go, and I was honestly very happy with what I got! The fish was soft, white and flaky and the batter was light and crispy. Chips were cooked really well! If this is your local chippy, then im very jealous! Next time im passing, I'll be back in!

Poor: £11.50 for a takeaway pie that wasn't hot, not even tepid, and EXTREMELY salty, while chips were pretty cardboard-like. Maybe other items are better but I can't recommend it at all.

We ordered for 8 people to a Goodwood Festival of Speed campsite. This place was a recommendation by a local. The service was exceptional, everything came hot and all the food was super delicious. All 8 of us, from across England, recommend it!

Tried to call the restaurant numerous times lines engaged or no answer so chose to review instead. Last time il be eating from La Fish after nearly dying

Update - genuine apology received from Yoddi. Issue resolved and we will try La Fish again as we’ve had no issues before. Great chips but VERY dried up chicken in the kebab. I tried 3 pieces of meat and couldn’t swallow any without a drink. Couldn’t eat the rest. Two chicken kebabs with two pittas which were fairly dry. Mine had a broken off piece as too dry. Inedible chicken. All for £24.50 (no sauce or salad in that price either). Awful. Used to like this place but no longer.

Really good food at a reasonable price. Lots of parking alongside road and has 2 picnic benches to eat at. No toilets as is just alongside the road.

Fantastic food! If you want somewhere that is more than just the usual burgers and sausages etc from a burger van. The choice is amazing, I've had both the cuban sandwich and the burger of the month that I'd give both 5/5. Plus you can use cards which is always helpful. Highly recommend.

Order from here regularly and they CANNOT get an order right... the coke is mostly soda water and tastes vile. The food always arrives at room temperature. And they CANNOT put sauces in whether you pay for them or not. just sick of it! Edit: once again, cannot get it right …. I almost threw up when I bit into this !!

Quick stop on Sunday early evening in July for a burger. Concerned to find the soap dispenser in male toilets broken and no replacement soap. Can you even imagine how much more faeces currently makes its way around the restaurant at the moment. Accepting many blokes don’t both washing their hands but here none of us can!!

So they will take orders depending on the person. Do not use this one. I will be taking up a civil suit for the way they treat people They turned off the machines even though there is still time and other people are ordering. This store manager should not be allowed to own this restaurant. They tell me to use the app but then say they arnt serving. Manager removed her name tag. Complaint will be maid

After finishing work the other day, I thought grabbing a McDonalds would be in order. I guess it’s my fault for wanting one, as I proceeded to wait exactly 30 minutes for my order. I was absolutely tired after work so standing there for half hour had me feeling ill. But even after 30 minutes stood around waiting, they still gave me the wrong drink. I do have sympathy for fast food workers, they often face a lot of abuse and I don’t see the need to crash out. But management is obviously struggling at this place. Also, couldn’t order it to the Click and Serve as there was just people sat there eating. And the drive thru was backed up on the main road.

This MacDonalds is always very busy. The drive through can be quick. It does have extensive seating inside and outside but often not too clean when busy. They offer the full range of UK MacDonalds products here at the normal price. Expect to wait about 15 minutes for food here if sitting in as they prioritise the drive through.

Staff at this store have a habit for forgetting parts of your order, plus do not use uber eats as you will never get your money back. Chips are never hot and drinks always warm. Why you ask because they make then and let them sit. Want to know how to avoid this? for drinks ask with no ice and last second ask for ice. And no salt on chips. They have no choice but to make them fresh.

Nipped in late at night, a little snoozy around midnight needing a little snack and hot drink while driving back to Brighton. Simple order: nugs, chips and a hot chocolate which was presented quickly and simply. On my first sip of the drink I heard a strange noise, a sort of wailing sound, then my chest and stomach got wet. I quickly realised that the sound was coming from me and the "drink" was falling out of my mouth. It had been served to me at a temperature that could have only been produced directly from the sun or potentially from the Large Hadron Collider trying to recreate the big bang. I don't even think it was liquid, it had so much heat energy in it that it must have been some sort of plasma or pure perpetual energy beam. My mouth was instantly blistered, probably permanently damaged and I imagine there is likely some wider implications for my entire central nervous system. Once my screaming had stopped I called to the manager and other staff for water or ice or anything, who asked me to order on the screen. I asked why they had served me a chemical weapon instead of a delicious sweet chocolate drink but they were unresponsive. It's now two days later and the blisters are still on my tongue with my sense of taste and texture all but gone. I don't think the hot chocolate service is suitable for consumption by humans but may be useful for something in the world of modern warfare or perhaps fingerprint removal.

First time visiting Harry's and had high expectations for their signature crinkle cut chips. Unfortunately they fell far short and were not at all crispy, but soggy and insipid. I must have got really unlucky and I know it happens but they could have been cooked for longer. The fish was very good and the battered sausage, mushy peas and curry sauce excellent.

Absolutely great place, staff so friendly and welcoming, the food is second to none we always choose harrys as we love how we are treated as customers and over all how the food is, will always recommend Harrys fish and chips to anyone asking for a great takeaway dinner

As always fabulous meal at Harry’s. Tried the new special Pollock and chips as a change from my usual cod, and it did not disappoint. Delicious and just as tasty as the cod, and an absolute bargain at £7.50 for a medium size, with there usual crisp batter and signature crinkle cut chips and the best curry sauce for dipping, delicious.

Great take away, amazing food, huge portions so we share! Like all small businesses at the moment, they need our support or we won't have lovely, freshly cooked food to take away. By the way, the chips are to die for!!

The BEST chips in Chichester without a doubt...and the best batter. Honestly, I'm blown away at these chips yet again. Perfect combination of crispy and fluffy. Carla and Adrian are absolute gems and the wait for the freshly prepared food is a joy when chatting about everything and nothing. Popular and rightly so, so if you want a quick pick up then you need to call ahead, but if you're happy to wait for a few minutes while your beautiful fish and chips are cooking and getting to know the lovely owners, then I thoroughly recommend ordering at the counter. Honestly, these chips are soooo good......😍😍😍😍 10 out of 10 and all boxes ticked!! Slightly gutted I didn't discover them years ago!!! 🤦🏻‍♀️ Definitely won't go anywhere else now ❤️

Amazing food, clean environment, food cooked to order, staff so friendly. I only come to Harry for chips but that is why I’m so picky about my food. Best fish and chips in the total Chichester area. Worth a visit!

Seriously since Deliveroo took over delivery the prices at Harry's ridiculous. But I ordered a large portion of chips and a couple of saveloys and the cost was mental but the portion size if the chips was nowhere near what I would consider as large. It's not about the quality of food Harry's it's a great Chippy but the greed of the owner in the ridiculous prices and small portion. No more Harry's for me....

Tiny portions probably not even the size of my hand for a regular cod and chips, expensive prices, might as well called themselves a cod and chip shop as rudely told us they can't do any other fish even though they're advertised. Took probably ten minutes of waiting in a queue for one of the 4 staff members behind the counter to stop chatting and take anyone's orders. Wasn't even told the price when paying they just tried to take the money from us. Wouldn't recommend very disappointed.

Small portions and unwelcoming, "reg" chips and "reg" cod equates to an OAP portion at best but charged £9.50, feels steep even at the OAP price (£6), only frying cod no other fish, generally a poor experience, disappointed

Dens’s Fish Bar’s new restaurant in Selsey is lovely and cosy. I highly recommend for a sit down meal. I sat in the new restaurant and had a lovely large cod and chips also a cheeky side of curry sauce which was divine yesterday afternoon whilst it was raining. It came with a free coffee as well as a slice of bread and butter on a plate. Lovely and friendly staff. The restaurant is spotlessly clean and the cod and chips were divine because the owners changed the oil on a regular basis which is always a bonus. It doesn’t taste or look greasy at all. Nice portions. Definitely the best chip shop around in my opinion.

Busy Saturday night with a 20 min wait for take away. We were visiting the area and was hoping for some fresh food. Was really disappointed that the cod was grey and wooly(definitely frozen not fresh), chips were raw and not cooked through, the whole lot was swimming in so much grease it was awful. Definitely would not go back based on the experience.

I find standards and quality have really gone down hill in my once favourite chip shop in Selsey, as the aroma of delicious fish & chips used to fill the air driving past to the seafront, making you suddenly ravenous for a taste of the Nation's No 1 traditional seaside meal. Not anymore, as there was no aroma wafting in the air, I queued for ages, then when I finally got my meal from the same miserable man that took my order, there was hardly any weight to my package, and although the chips were bland, they were edible, the fish on the other hand was disgraceful quality and almost cold, the batter was so hard and unappealing that when I finally managed to cut into it, there was hardly any fish inside and all I could taste was pure fat, if I'd of eaten it I would of been sick, it felt & looked that it had been cooked at lunchtime, next time I'll try somewhere else!

Waited an eternity until I lost my patience and asked for the manager. He eventually appeared and told me they were short staffed. Got given my bag of food, went home (several miles away) to find no McNuggets and an incorrect burger. See photo for the excuse of a burger I got. This is not the first time. I don’t think it is anything to do with short staff. I think there is a deep seated management problem as they clearly have major service issues. I will be calling them tomorrow and demand a refund but for now, best avoid and go get a Five Guys over the way.

Placed an order on the machine opted to table service because I had my hands full with kids I assumed this will come within 15mins mark to my surprise 30mins later nothing - went to the counter and said I been waiting for this much time and been told ok the food are coming went back to be with kids 15mins later food arrived BUT only kids meals, fries, mozzarella sticks but no dip and drinks ! Where are our mains .. went back to be told sorry the burgers will come soon ! I mean soon when 8mins later burgers arrived chips were cold already!! The worse place ever avoid at all cost!! The only good thing about Chi Gate McDonald's is the mild excitement around guessing how they're going to mess up your order this time round. Given all the years of fine tuning to make McDonalds efficient and consistent worldwide, it's quite impressive how exceptionally bad these guys are at every aspect of the process. For example, today I ordered a big Mac with large fries. What I received was a big Mac with no pickles and about five cold, stale and chewy fries. Given that it was a quiet Monday night and employees outnumbered customers 5 to 1, I'm wondering how they managed to mess it up so badly. The whole place is in chaos, with rubbish everywhere. random furniture is dotted around the place in the middle of the floor. The screen which tells you if your order is ready appears to just be there for fun, and you watch as your order number bounces between ready and preparing - or quite often it just disappears for a bit. The counter is full of people complaining that their orders are wrong. Meanwhile, the manager is... Taking food to people's tables. I would rather spend £15 for a burger at Five Guys over the road than have to withstand the utter chaos, disgusting food, and agonizing wait of McDonald's Chichester Gate again.

Stopped by for quick dinner on the way, however, had to leave soon after we started eating, as 3 roudy kids started shouting profanities and disrupting people around, as they sat behind us, they disrespected staff and ignored them when asked to calm down, making one guy clean the table and then laughing at him calling him "good boy" , standing on chairs and scaring my mother with their shouting. What's most disappointing that 2 security guards and staff at McDonald's couldn't sort them out and even laughed.. utter disappointment that I couldn't eat in peace.

We go to this McDonald's regularly and find it to be good. Tonight we visited and it was very busy. The staff were clearly overwhelmed by the volume of customers but managed extremely well with abusive customers. Whilst waiting for our order, there were some complaints about wait times and incorrect orders but Sophie (manager?) handled the complaints professionally. My food wasn't perfect but the service from all staff was great and I feel that they should be applauded🙌

Arrived in a rush, only ordered 2 Big Mac meals, didn’t get the toy, fries portions were tiny, and by the time we got anything it had been 30 mins. All whilst we were watching the employees fully dally behind the counter. Would love a refund

Really lovely sandwiches. Only thing that troubles me is the hygiene if you decide to 'eat in' the cafe itself. The lady (who had just been handing cash) takes the sandwich out of its packet and cuts it up on a plate, without washing hands and without putting gloves on or whatever. Maybe I'm fussy but I must admit it put me off a bit on my recent visit. Easily fixable though.

Award winning Sandwich Shop in Chichester where most are made to order. Great Selection covering every permutation and very reasonable prices. Enjoyed the coffee as well.

They have moved. I thought they closed down already. Im not a massive fan of milkshakes but their smoothie was awesome. Id drink my veggies everyday if it was in this Super Green smoothie. Packed with flavour, healthy and perfect to quench you during this summer heat. 💚 One staff said theey had aircon and she was referring to the fans inside thr building since it was boiling. They have seats inside as well as outdoor sitting areas.

Went with my son on a beautiful summers day. My 5 year old had a chocolate milkshake, with flake and marshmallows on top. Wow this place is amazing! Can’t wait to go back!!

I'm a pretty regular customer, but my visits between 7 and 8 PM have been consistently underwhelming. It feels like my party and I are more of a bother than valued customers. More often than not, we're told that certain items are off-limits because 'the machines are being cleaned.' Shouldn't that kind of maintenance happen after closing, so customers don't miss out during business hours? When we decide to sit down and eat, the staff starts cleaning around us, which makes it feel like they're trying to get us to leave, even if it's still a couple of hours before closing. It's not a very welcoming vibe. Plus, the staff never seems particularly friendly. Overall, the atmosphere during these evening visits isn't great, and it's a shame because this place could be so much better. I hope the management sees this and makes some changes to improve the customer experience.

Excellent food and lovely customer service: went to great lengths to make sure we were happy. My son loved the huge range of milkshakes to choose from and the pizza was exactly how he likes it!

Fantastic ice-creams and the place to come for the viral Dubai chocolate strawberries. Reasonable prices for the portions. Definitely give them a try if you're near, we didn't realise they did pizza too, we'll be back to try them!

This was my first time visiting the chain.It fills a hole. Very basic tacos that could do with more filling. Reasonably priced and the standard reflects that. I forgot to ask for soft tacos instead of crunchy as I have never liked them, I won’t be making that mistake again. The chips were really well seasoned which was a surprise.

In the year 2020 after the franchise wars the only remaining restaurant is Taco Bell. The food is exceptional with a wide range of foods to suit all dietary preferences and both carbonated and non carbonated beverages are also available. The beans have much flavour and the salad items have even more. Each meal is prepared for optimal human nutrition. No human contact is required and no toilet is needed. The three shells are intact. My car drove me here, safely. Highly recommended :-)

I ordered through online. I ordered the chicken burrito bowl and burrito . When I arrived home to eat it, I cannot find any chicken in my burrito bowl. I ask my husband to go back and check. It’s not just the time and petrol that wasted, your appetite as well waiting 🙄 no apology or anything, instead some excuses.

Quick fix? Taco bell can sort that out for you. The nachos were basic but tasty. Lovely and creamy with its cheese sauce to balance out the salty powder that covers the nachos. Next favorite is their tacos. Simple but very good. Try it out with their sauce packets. I liked mild and hot combined. If you dont like the sauce, having it as is also works. Quesadilla was melted cheese in a wrap but folded in half and pressed flat. We had ours with chicken and was simply good. The chips were okay 🙃 ☆They take card payments. I called in to Andy's last week for the first time why I have never been before is beyond me First impressions was how clean the shop looks 👌 The prices are fare The food I had large cod medium chips I remember Andy saying I hope your hungry the fish was huge. So to the actual test eating it all Fish was flakey not dry the batter was crispy and not greasy chips were great I will call in again soon Oh yes I did finish them ....only just though 😃

Absolutely delicious kebabs! The meat was juicy, perfectly grilled, and full of flavour. Portions are generous — you definitely won’t leave hungry. One of the best kebab places in town, highly recommended!

Dreadfully dirty seating area, but to be fair, there only seemed to be 2 people working there today, one cooking everything bless him and a lady taking all the orders who seemed to be new as she was taking an age and wasn't too sure about the produce when asked... The pizza was great thou and the little one couldn't stop eating slices of it... 5 was had I believe at £3.50 a go with a bottle of pop it was pretty good value...

Painfully slow service everytime. Only ever one person serving, always another doing boh, dont you prioritise your ques? The servers are lovely to talk to however this unfortunately isn't a substitute for the extreme wait times. I went elsewhere for breakfast.

Is this the worst run Greggs in the country? Friday lunchtime, one person serving, with queue stretching out of the door. Counted myself lucky to get a sausage roll. On several previous visits a lengthy wait as not enough had been heated.

Angers me upstairs closes around 4pm a good TWO HOURS before the branch closes... shame as the former pret here opened later upstairs and it's the best place to sit

Chichester greggs.. is always dirty... everytime you go in the bins downstairs and upstairs are over flowing.. the tables are messy.. seems to never be anybody cleaning.. the food is luke warm.. never hot.. always 1 person on the tills who looks like they don't even want to be there.. as for mobile signal or WiFi that's non existent.. only went her to grab something quick

Extremely poor. Purchased a vegetable bake for the wife. When she went to eat it in store, it was cold. Staff refused to reheat due to policy. Said it's just luck if it's hot or cold. No offer of replacing it. You buy a pasty like that from a warming cabinet expecting it to be at least warm. Guess we'll take our custom elsewhere next time we want a snack.

I recently visited KFC Chichester with my family and had a very disappointing experience. I ordered hot wings through the drive-thru, but after taking a bite, I noticed a foul smell – clearly the chicken wasn’t fresh. Although served hot, it seemed like it had been left out too long or stored improperly, raising serious food hygiene concerns. I drove back to report it calmly, but instead of being helpful or apologetic, the manager and assistant manager were dismissive and more focused on arguing. I even asked them to taste it themselves, but they refused. Only after a lot of back-and-forth did they give me a replacement – and even then, with no apology and a rude attitude. The only staff member who handled things respectfully was Manish. Sadly, this isn’t the first time I’ve had a bad experience here, but this time the issue was serious – both poor service and a potential health risk. I urge KFC to look into this branch and address their food safety and staff behaviour. Until then, I’d suggest others visit Bognor or Fratton branches instead.

Toilets are quite frankly disgusting and dirty. Tables were all covered in food crumps and mess. To be fair to the staff it would appear that they have so much to do trying to fulfil food delivery orders etc. It looked like they were overloaded which in turn means they cannot look after other tasks in house as they were working flat out in the kitchen yet the restaurant was quite empty.

Came at a busy time and in my haste I ordered a salad box instead of a rice box. They rectified it by adding some rice for me. Really quick service. No unhappy customers during my visit. Really appreciate their good customer service.

Food was ok …. Cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired … bins over flowing, toilets dirty and water and loo roll all over the floor, tables left full of food and not cleaned. Give my rubbish to member of staff and was asked to put in the bin which I told her I couldn’t as they were overflowing

Decided to have lunch here as the nearby McDonalds was crowded. I’m sorry that I did to be honest. It was lunch time and the store had only been open for just over an hour yet the fillet on my burger tasted like it had been sitting overnight. It was dry and tough. In addition it was very small, smaller than the hash brown in the burger! Likely due to shrinking during the drying out process. Similar story for the mini fillet burger. The piece of chicken was okay and seemed to have been recently cooked. Not good enough for a lunchtime visit where you wouldn’t expect to receive stale and hard fillets! Very disappointing!

You should not advertise 60 popcorn chicken and then serve 51. Much better to promise 50 and then any more would be appreciated.

Some of the best burgers in west Sussex! Staff are super friendly.. hand made burgers not some frozen patty! Proper tasty burgers you won't be disappointed

Literally one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever eaten. The Cuban is like a turbocharged ‘hog roast’ bun: sweet succulent pork in a toasted fluffy bun rammed with gherkins, Swiss cheese and everything else! (If you’ve seen the film ‘Chef’ - it’s essentially the Pan Cubano they make). The fries were crisp on the outside, fluffy in the middle, coated in crunch rosemary salt. A small portion was plenty for lunch. The chef was down to earth, really relaxed and great to chat to. Do not miss this place! It’s bloody brilliant!

I absolutely love this place! The food is amazing and fresh every day. I normally get the chopped salad and sausage roll. Everyone who works there are so nice and friendly and service is quick so makes for the perfect place to grab a lush healthy fresh lunch. Highly recommend 👍

I have ordered from the lunch box many times in the last few years but today the service was really disappointing. I ordered a sausage bacon and egg sandwich with ketchup. Somehow, they interpreted heinz ketchup as heinz baked beans. The cake was crushed and the capuccino tasted like weak coffee and was half full. What's happened guys?

Went to lunch box today for the first time, it definitely won’t be the last. The food is amazing the flat white is the best. Prawn salad was delicious. Also their chocolate brownies are amazing . The girls are wonderful welcoming and so friendly keep up the good work guys !!!!

I love the take out their baguettes are amazing and hot chocolate too. I want to praise the lunch box as there was a slight error in my order it was rectified immediately and was delivered by the lady on the phone and not deliveroo. I will continue to order and hope many who read this will too. I rate the lunch box 5*
