Here's a short positive review for Hatch sandwich shop: Absolutely loved my experience at Hatch in downtown Hickory! This local spot is a real gem. I had the Rueben and it was easily one of the best I've ever had – perfectly grilled and packed with flavor. My colleague's salad looked incredible too. The outdoor seating area is a fantastic bonus, and the location in charming downtown Hickory just adds to the whole wonderful vibe. Highly recommend stopping by Hatch for a delicious meal!

We were driving through Hickory and just googled a lunch spot. Hatch came up with great reviews so we decided to make a stop. Place was buzzing with people and a queue. Staff was trying to handle phone orders and in-store orders so we didn’t try to ask any questions. Board showed a great selection of sandwiches and Thanksgiving turkey caught our eyes. Maybe it was not the right choice as the sandwich we received was underwhelming. We have never seen a Turkey sandwich so sad looking. Definitely not giving a Thanksgivings vibe. Made us regret that we didn’t stop at Jersey Mike’s. If pulled pork sandwiches are the specialty, will be good to know on the board.

Unfortunately no pictures of the sandwich it was that good. I inhaled it. Damn that sandwich was good, steak and cheese. Perfect combo. Highly reccomened as a stop.

Visiting the area and tried this place based on reviews. We had the French burger, which had Brie & strawberry jam and the Thanksgiving sandwich. Burger was cooked perfectly and the Brie & berry combo was surprisingly good. The Thanksgiving sandwich was toasted to perfection. There wasn’t much to it (turkey, cheese & cranberry) but it was simply good. We upgraded to sweet potato fries (comes with chips) which came with this amazing dip. Fries were good. Portion sizes were good for us - not super sized but still larger than one portion. I would eat here again to try something else. There were several things on the menu that made it to my short list. They have fountain drinks and bottled beverages. Also desserts available. Dine inside or out (limited outside seating) Service was quick.

Last night was our first time to dine at Hatch — but it won’t be our last! I had commented several times when heading downtown for a play that we should give it a try and we finally did. Yes, theater goers— its super close to Hickory Community Theater! We tried several things. The pulled pork grill cheese was delicious — piled high with pork and yummy cheese! We also order the three sides plate. We chose the Brussels sprouts with maple, the broccoli with miso, sumac roasted carrots. The broccoli stands out for the umami flavors and the carrots were just perfection. The REAL standout for the night was the charred eggplant with “cashew-cilantro cream, pickled mustard seeds, parsley, and hot honey”. WOW! It was amazing. It might not win any prizes for beauty, but for flavor, it is top notch! If they have this on special when you dine there, don’t miss it. We were actually using the bread from our sandwiches to get every last bit of that cashew cream from the plate. Yes, it is that good. When you are looking for a place that isn’t fancy or pretentious, has good prices and excellent food, give Hatch a try.

Time for lunch and I was able to get a parking space close to Hatch. We ordered at the counter and took a seat in the back where sandwiches were delivered about 15 minutes later. Made to order and they were busy, so this is an appropriate time. They have a cooler with beers and canned/bottled sodas. There is also a self-service soda fountain in the back. It's a nice dining area with different options for seating including a large communal table, some high tops and low tops. There might be a wifi. Restrooms were clean. Sandwiches arrived and they were great. I had chose the "Club" which was ham, turkey and bacon with appropriate fixings. Delicious, slightly messy, very yummy. My wife had the "Thanksgiving Turkey" with cranberry and thick sliced tomato. Also excellent. Great lunch, nice little place. I'm glad we found it!

Cozy little sandwich shop with great variety and fresh ingredients. Tried the turkey avocado, thanksgiving, Reuben and turkey melt. All were great. Prices were reasonable. The Brussel sprouts were a great side. Lots of choices for beer and sodas. They offer takeout and no one waited more than 5 minutes while we were there. Place sits at one end of a quaint downtown street. Worth the stop.

I finally found it. A GOOD QUALITY restaurant with true gluten-free food. Food that tastes as good as non-gluten free. Only in downtown Boston have I eaten gluten-free free food this good. Now I have to do most of my shopping in Hickory, NC, so that I can stop by again. It's really hard to have celiac. I am not GF by choice. I have no choice. The only thing about relocating to the Carolinas is that it doesn't seem like many people understand how serious having celiac is. This restaurant understands and doesn't compromise quality either. Lots of gluten free options including hush puppies and homemade cakes. Both the hush puppies and the cake were absolutely delicious. BBQ sauce was quite tasty as was the brisket. Would have given 5 stars for the food but the brisket was a little dry. Staff was really friendly and helpful. Will definitely return.

Everyone talks about their hot dogs but y'all are missing out on the best chicken tenders!!! They aren't small and they are perfectly coated with flavor!! Pair them with those amazing hush puppies and a cherry vanilla Sundrop slushie.....😋😋😋. Plus the young lady at the counter is always the best!

My new favorite restaurant in all of North Carolina. Right off 127 in Hickory, a modest building hides an amazing restaurant with some of the best fried shrimp I have ever tasted that happens to also be gluten free. Plus the hush puppies are also gluten free! I had the trifecta of Fried Shrimp, hush puppies and great tartar sauce for the first time in over 15 years since I had to go gluten free. This is no accident, the chef herself is gluten free and expertly crafts the seasoned breading by hand. She also made a killer pumpkin cheesecake with gluten free graham cracker crumbs and makes several other GF cakes that I hope to sample soon. Also the soups are GF and amazing like everything we tried! I would give this place six stars if I could. We just loved this place for the food, the great customer service and down home atmosphere! Well done!

I don’t know how we haven’t tried this place sooner! Great food and the gluten free options are great too! My sister loved the gluten free fried shrimp and hush puppies, and we love the brisket and BBQ. Highly recommend!

We were so excited to find a new place that offers GF options for our family. They take it seriously - changing gloves, separate prep area and 2 dedicated fryers. The customer service was great and they were all so friendly.

Olde Hickory Tap Room was recommended by the locals, so we decided to try it. The food was very good and the service was wonderful. We stopped it for lunch and the portions were big. Took our servers recommendations and they did not disappoint. They do their own blue cheese and warm it before adding it to the burger, the best I've ever had. Will try more dishes next time I'm in Hickory.

These massive tenders are breasts cut into tender and fried to perfection. Amazing crust and tender. It’s a big portion so be prepared to take some home! I would say, best tenders I have ever had. We got the potato salad as a side which was creamy, mustardy, and filled with pickles. Loved it. Service: Wait staff were busy but very friendly. We did have a 30 minute wait but used it ti enjoy the beautiful downtown of Hickory, N.C. My server was amazing, as well as the drinks. However, this was probably one of the worst steaks I’ve ever eaten. Absolutely ZERO seasoning, the grill marks are the only reason I can say it wasn’t cooked in a microwave. The sides were not great either. No seasoning on the broccoli and the “Irish root roast” was soft and definitely boiled. I’ll be back, but won’t be eating there again

Awesome food! Husband got his favorite (The Blueburger) and I got the special (Cornbread chicken pot pie). We also got a side of ghost chili (spicy and warm with ground meat and light beans). The chicken pot pie has a sweetness to it that adds to the flavor. So creamy and yummy! Husband loves the blue cheese burger and ranch with his pub chips.

The food and service is always good! Very consistent! Deb the bartender is the best!! Love the veggie pizza, fish and chips, Reuben, and great salads! Never had a bad meal here! FYI - they will make anything into a wrap. My only wish is they had the Buffalo fried oysters like the sister restaurant!

This place was fantastic. The service was quick and friendly. Every one was hustling.It was oktoberfest so itbwas very busy. They handled thebextra business amazingly. Probably the best chicken tenders ive ever had.

Your Bar is amazing, the atmosphere is like no other, but your bartender on this night, even though she made great cocktails was distracted, didn't check on us at all or pay attention. We had to get her attention constantly. Just because you make great drinks, doesn't mean you should be a bartender. It's about connection, and she lacked it very much. She seems sweet but that doesn't get the job done in an impressionable way.

Food is good. Chicken was quite moist. Love brunch on the weekends. Like the prices. Wine and beer selection is excellent. Nose level at 2pm was tolerable. Service was decent. What I didn’t like was the dirt under the fingernails of one of the servers. And the bathrooms are disgusting, which makes me wonder about the kitchen. I’ll try someplace else the next time I’m in Hickory.

This place is a cute one! I had the most amazing salad here, loved the mimosa as well! Good little kids menu and reasonable prices. Great beer selection and nice bar area. Very attentive to detail when it came to the food. :) very pleased!

It was a beautiful spring day at lunch time so it was very busy but we only had to wait about 20 minutes. All the servers and employees where very nice. The atmosphere was amazing. I really enjoyed the gift shop at the front of the restaurant and the view from our table was beautiful. The food was so fresh and delicious. I would highly recommend this place if you find yourself in Hickory NC!

I really wanted to give this place at three, but I didn’t because in fairness the Hickory carnival was going on right next-door and I can see the restaurant being the way it was because of the extra customers. I met the manager. His name was William. I only stopped in ate because I was in the area. Starting with the discounts unbelievably they offer none “0” onto the food. I really enjoyed the food. The pizza was good. They had a real crispy crust. I ordered it like ham, sausage and olives. Do not get the olives. They are extra extra salty I also got the wings. They were pretty good. I could see myself eating at disestablishment again. I really like the old feel of the place. They sell lots of special cheeses, wines and other specialty items. I think you should give him a try for the old time feel. they offer what looks like a fully stocked bar. They have inside and outside eating and I think I might’ve saw a fireplace. Our waitress was named Mia. Thank you for your service.

What a horrible disaster!!! This place is in the old Hickory train depot wonderful beautiful building great atmosphere you would think it would be a great place to celebrate someone’s birthday like we did, but it was not. It was a horrible experience. An hour and a half later the birthday girl still had not received her food. Out of 6 adults and 6 children 6 of the burgers were nearly raw and all were requested well done. Server was horrible and had a terrible attitude. The manager came to our table to personally apologize and said he completely agreed with us, our food was nearly raw. He was cool!! we are not diners with an attitude. We are very laid-back and easy to get along with me my wife my daughter have all been servers in restaurants in our younger days and know how it can go, but I would highly recommend against coming here extremely bad experience. This is the third time I have been here and it has never been a great experience food wise the atmosphere and company was great. I only agreed to attend because it was a friend‘s birthday dinner. When the birthday girl finally got her food an hour and a half later the order was wrong as well three strikes you’re out. These photos are of our supposed to be well done burgers. On a semi positive/ negative sidenote the manager told my daughter for each of us to get a free dessert on the way out they have an extremely nice dessert bar as you’re exiting the building however, when we got up there, the lady accused us of lying about him, giving us each a free dessert for our horrible experience!!

What a wonderful genuine place. We have driven up from Spartanburg both times to grab cheese you can only get there. We had dinner at the bar and what a fun time! The bartender, I failed to get her name but incredible eye makeup, was amazing and we sat, just like last time, with a bunch of regulars. This place makes me want to move to Hickory so I can become a regular too. These salads were beyond delicious and they kept growing in the bowl. Haha We can't wait to come back. I never want to leave bad reviews. But I kind of considered myself a regular. I order their Streak Cobb salad maybe once a week, I have also brought them a lot of business by showing around my lunch. However, it’s always a hit and miss, items would be missing, or the steak portion is off. Today I was craving this salad, after not even having breakfast. All the portions were wrong. I got barely any steak, or onions, or blue cheese, even the greens. It feels like they ran out of ingredients and gave me what was left, not to mention this is a $18 salad. The food was delicious! The appetizer was Brussel sprouts they were fantastic! As well as the lobster dip. Had the ribeye steak with blue cheese sauce and roasted potatoes!! Absolutely will be returning!!

Very bad service and very sub par food. Destroyed my dinner. The sweet potato fries were burned (in the pic). I asked them to not add pork belly to my "Frutti di mare" , and they did it regardless without informing me. Im glad it wasn't a religious restriction else it would have been nasty. I did not eat it. The wine cake was sub par and not worth $11 a slice. Only saving grace was the Burrata. Would definitely not recommend, seems like they are lazy and not only wont see the requests , which is weird cause they have that option on their ordering website, they wont even inform you about that.

Choosing to meet family half way, Hickory had a restaurant that was new to me; Fourk. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, service was very good, and the wide array of lunch options was most pleasing. The portions were plenty at reasonable prices. The chicken wrap was excellent. The shrimp tacos tasted as good as they look, along with the bacon cheeseburger. The sweet potatoe fries were yummy. They also have some choice drafts on hand. We will be back.

Went out to Fourk for my boyfriend and I's 7 year anniversary and it was amazing. Just a warning, there are 2 locations in Hickory so make sure you know which location you reserve your spot for. Parking is just across the street, is free, and easily accessible. Service was on the slow side due to 2 parties of people coming in right before us however the waiter did well keeping up with our drink refills and food with the busy hours. We ordered the Lobster Fondue for our appetizer and it was great. My boyfriend ordered the Ribeye which was cooked perfectly and the potatoes and greens were good as well. I ordered the duck dish, I was unsure of it but this dish has to be one of my top 5 of all time and I am 💯 going to be coming back to order it again. 10/10 and great for a casual meal or dressing up (like we did) for a date night.

The food was amazing! We ordered a tuna wonton appetizer & really enjoyed them. I ordered the New York strip, medium, with vegetables & Yukon mashed potatoes. The steak was so tender, full of flavor, was so amazing. At our table was also the Colorado bison ribeye and it was very flavorful as well. Nice char on it outside. The sliders were enjoyed by our son. Our daughter enjoyed the chicken parmesan. I highly recommend. I did give the service a 3 star because our server took forever, we didn't see him for a long time. We arrived at 5p and took an hour and half before leaving. Not the cooks fault, seriously the server and him being wherever he was.

We came here with new friends we had just met at a spa after they recommended this place! It was neat! First of all you don’t expect it where it is and inside is a total different vibe! Something worth checking out for sure! Jesse was our waitress and was super friendly and real! We enjoyed sitting with her for a couple hours as we enjoyed our experience here! Not only Jesse too, the other wait staff was very personable and friendly too! It’s very clean in here and the food was impeccable! Usually crab legs at most places don’t have flavor however here they’re are packed with it! We got the seafood boil for two! They have nice appetizer options too like corn riblets as well! They have a rotating draft beer selection and good drink options with a full bar! The food hit the spot and the staff was attentive throughout as we enjoyed it! I love this place so much, me and my fiance were there for our anniversary and we always have a good time. The oysters are fresh, the label each type and you get them fast. 100% recommend to anyone who loves seafood especially oysters.

My husband and I went here for his birthday. He got the “old money” platter that had a bit of everything, pretty much. I had the special, which was red grouper. He was happy with his and I was with mine. Bill was kind of high, but we expected as much. They did give him cheesecake for his birthday, too. Waitress was very good and considerate of us. Great place!

We visited Standard Oyster during restaurant week. It's likely not a restaurant we would have tried due to not having had oysters before but I'm so glad we decided to try it out. From beginning to end it was a fantastic experience. All the food, our drinks and the service was top notch. The seafood is super fresh and delicious. The cocktails were so good. We even tried a few oysters and they were great. The in-house vinaigrette paired with the oysters really well. Our server was Sherri and she was funny, helpful and made our experience really enjoyable. We will definitely be back!

Some of the best oysters we have had in the area. We live in Lincolnton and normally drive to Big Daddy’s, not anymore. We are heading to Hickory for our seafood fix! Highly recommend this restaurant.

Had an early dinner there and the food was really good, the place was clean and atmosphere was nice and the staff was very pleasant. I dropped some cash as we were leaving and one of the ladies remembered our conversation and tracked me down to let me know I had dropped the money. I was very appreciative of her honest but more impressed that she really listened to us and took the time to figure out how to get in touch with me. All-in-all, a great experience.

I honestly don’t think there’s a weekend that goes by without me stopping at Taste Full Beans in Hickory. The coffee is amazing, the fresh-baked scones are delicious, and they’ve got awesome healthy food options offered all day long. The service is always friendly and welcoming, which makes it even better. Such a cozy, inviting place that always hits the spot! They also have dog-friendly outdoor seating.

I only had coffee, but there were plenty of other selections. I had the Edgar Allan Poe frap with the unique combination of lemon and dark chocolate. Flavor was mild, but enjoyable, with hints of both. The blending was perfectly smooth and creamy. The atmosphere was out of this world. Local authors' books were out for patrons to enjoy while partaking.

Puppy friendly and great service. My warm ham sandwich was delicious too and food came out so quickly. Smelled amazing inside and got a cute little gift for my mom there too!

One of the rare findings in Hickory, NC. People were so friendly and the service was great. Food and food collection is well selected, curated, and prepared. Don’t miss the coffee. Will be in regular pit stop when driving from CLT to Boone, NC.

Food was good and fresh. You can order at a kiosk as you enter. The coffee drinks were good. (If you get just regular coffee you just get a cup and fill up by the canisters but specialty they will call you or a wait staff will bring it to you.) Staff is nice but it is kind of a half self serve environment, you pick your table, and clean your stuff off. They did bring our food and specialty drinks and were very nice. The environment is eclectic. Lots of paintings, some books as you enter. Various seating options, bar style, regular tables, view of the street or inside of building.

If you are traveling on I-40 near Hickory you MUST STOP BY! We found this gem on accident and we are so glad we did. I don’t think I’ve EVER gotten such a good americano. We got breakfast burritos and bowls, very fresh ingredients and perfect portion size. They have a full menu, tons of coffee bean options, local art for sale, and a free book library! We stopped on a Sunday AM and there was also live music. We will add this to our routine when we head to and from the mountains! Most of the tables were small but you can move things around- there was one larger group.

Great and healthy food for reasonable prices. I bet this is your only healthy food option if you are driving i-40, and does not disappoint. The spot is nicely decorated and organized so that it doesn't feel crowded in spite of the smaller eating area.

Headed to Notions in Hickory? You totally should! Their brunch is seriously 🔥. Those liver mush sliders? Don't knock 'em 'til you try 'em! 😋 And the bananas foster French toast? The food we had was very good. Cajun pasta and chicken and the filet mignon. The inside area is a bit crowded and with all the conversations a bit noisy, it has a nice bar and eclectic feel. They have great outdoor seating if the weather is good and are dog friendly outside.

Came here for the first time tonight and had a great meal from start to finish. Very clean space and relaxing atmosphere- great date night spot and will definitely be back to try more of the menu!

I wish I could remember our servers name. He was great! Atmosphere is nice and cozy. It was a Friday night and a full house which was nice to see! Seems to be a popular spot for locals. Food was also really good. You've got to get the Tempura Cauliflower. It's delicious!

It’s been 2 days and I’m still thinking about the blackened chicken salad, so I thought I needed to give kudos to Notions. I honestly cannot say if I liked the tender chicken, amazing tobacco onions, blue cheese crumbles, or the fresh greens the best. We sat outside because the evening weather was gorgeous and our server was super sweet and courteous. I’m dreaming of going back.

We have dined here twice and both meals were very good! A little room for improvement, but definitely worth future visits!! Their outdoor dining is very pleasant on a mild evening. Last night I had the filet with potatoes and brussel sprouts, same thing I had on my previous visit and it is a 10 out of 10! Flavor, portion and cost! Excellent!! My wife had the sliders for her meal and the first time we had them they were very juicy and flavorful, last night they were dried out and ended up as part of our dogs meal for the evening. Also, their fries are just frozen crinkle fries, would have figured something a little more from a nicer restaurant. We shared a cobb salad to start with blue cheese dressing and it was good, but not great. Needed something else for texture and lacked flavor. Our service was good and we thought our server did a great job!! The food runner from The kitchen had the personality of sandpaper... maybe she wasn't having a good evening? But in a customer facing role I think you need to be a little happier and not rude. They forgot my wifes fries and when she mentioned this to the food runner she argued that it hadn't been rung up instead of saying something like let me check on that. Then our server walked up and she kind of argued with him in front of us. That probably should've been a back of restaurant discussion and not arguing with the customer. All that being said! We like it here and WILL return!! We may skip the cobb and sliders, but the filet is excellent!! And good ambience!! To those about to dine, I salute you!!

The best pizza I think i have ever had. Every dish we had in the party was delicious from the pizza to canzone and even a lasagna. The salad tasted crisp and fresh and the garlic rolls with their garlic topping is not something to miss. Highly recommend. I wish I lived closer to be able to frequent.

Looking around tasting different pizza joints as a guy that loves his slice! This place has traditionally NY Style slices. Extra large sliced pizza with a crispy crunch dough and good under carriage. I ordered mine little extra crispy to ensure no doughy outcome. Very satisfied with the taste! Also tried the wings, they are not the best quality wing but they are pretty good 4 stars on wings. Pizza was phenomenal!

We usually eat at Tony’s and their pizza is usually great and full of toppings but tonight we ordered take out and got the works with a few tweaks and a half and half pizza. They were such a disappointment when we got them home and opened them! They may as well have been just pepperoni pizzas there was hardly anything else on them. $65 for pizzas made your way for them to be nothing but pepperoni with a few sprinkles of other toppings! Definitely will not order again.

My daughters and I have been eating at Tony’s pizza for years. Beatrice greeted us with a warm and welcome smile today when we stopped in. The staff is always friendly and the food is delicious. I highly recommend!

Our family loves to eat at Tony's. They have recently renovated the dining area and it really looks great. I love the NY theme without the subway smell! The food hasn't changed and remains delicious. Bathrooms were nice and clean as well. Very nice!

Want a slice of pizza with stretchy cheese that's piping hot? 🔥 Want that thin foldable NY style crust? Want plentiful toppings? If you answered yes, then you WANT Tony's. All of that, with superb service and flavor that makes your taste buds cry for more and all for 3.50$ a slice. This slice of pizza is so big it barely fit in a 12" pizza box. The place is busy as heck but my order was taken in under my 5 minute limit and all the workers behind the counter seemed to be busting humps. When a place is constantly this busy, there is a reason why. If you want the best NY style pizza, and don't want to pay inflation prices then you MUST visit Tony's!

She kept filling my water, even with a new cup but it kept having dust or towel particles in it. I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to be drinking lint, towel particles or dust. Anyway, I think that made her feel awkward the rest of the experience. Food was delicious and our waitress was a great waitress.

I came here with a work group of nine people. We were early enough that we had the place to ourselves. Regardless, a nine top is hard to manage. I ordered a Spanish Mule which was a Moscow Mule with tequila rather than vodka. It was perfectly balanced. We had a plethora of appetizers around the table to include escargot, spinach and artichoke dip, triple dip, and more. All were fabulous. I ordered the small portion of the Elk Chop, medium rare which came with a salad, sweet potatoes and Brussels sprouts. Everything was perfect! I couldn't even finish the small. Then all our meals came with a dessert spoon - tres leches which was pretty acceptable this far north!

Menu has many fantastic options with lots of variety for all tastes. A good section of specials as well. Staff was attentive and friendly and worked a last minute reservation in. We got the roasted lamb chops and the portions were hearty. Highly recommend!

Duke's is the favorite date night spot of my wife and me. We love the food and often find ourselves drawn there for the specials they have going. The staff are always on top of things and willing to fix any issues that might arise during the meal. Last night the air conditioning was out when we went. The entertainment (which that night was a lovely pianist/singer) and staff were obviously struggling due to the discomfort of the temperature. I have to say that I found everyone's dedication to providing their customers a fine experience despite the heat admirable. The price point can be a little steep, but not really given the quality of food and service provided. If you're looking for a spot to spend a lovely evening out look no further. Even on their worst nights it's a top notch meal.

Dukes is a cool place with a nice atmosphere although entry to the restaurant is like sneaking in someone’s back door. It has formal decor with low lighting and a mix of nice accents and old building bones. We went for the brunch on Sunday so we weren’t sure what to expect. They had a fixed menu of about 6 dishes. Some of which they didn’t actually have. I had the steak and egg which came with fruit (mostly melons) and a biscuit. The bacon wrapped steak was done well and all tasted good. My wife had the chicken and waffles and they are the super sugary waffles that don’t go well with the dish. The waiter was new but tried hard. The old fashioned I ordered was super sugary as well. Overall nice but nothing to brag about. I may go back some time for dinner to see what their normal is. We were one of two tables Sunday at 12:30.

The restaurant was nice and the staff was friendly. The food however was awful. My fillet was inedible. My friend felt the same way about her fillet. Both had a very strange flavor. My wife had fish and it was awful too. We had six entrees all together and they were all bad. When our server cleared the table almost every plate was still full. When I was a server I certainly would have asked why no one ate any of their food. I would never return to Dukes. I paid over $100 dollars for the worst steak I’ve ever had. Two of the people in our party actually got sick after dinner.

I like how friendly the people are, excellent customer service. He made you feel at home. This is different than Subway, you have any kind of sub you would like. More than they have as choices. I mean anything. I definitely think it is worth checking out.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Stopped by Sub Station II and grabbed a large wheat Club “all the way” with mustard, mayo, and banana peppers ... and it did not disappoint! The bread was fresh, the meat and cheese were stacked perfectly, and the combo of mustard, mayo, and banana peppers gave it the perfect tangy kick. Great flavor, friendly service, and quick turnaround. Definitely one of the better sub spots around!

My Wife and I drove a little over an hour to eat at this establishment,and we were not disappointed.We had not been to a Sub Station ll in many years ,both of the ones in our area had closed.It is still better than anything these new mega chain sandwich shops have to offer.We look forward to making this one of our regular restaurants.

First time customers and wanted to like it more than we did. The price was good. We waited quite a while for our sandwiches. They had more lettuce than anything else on them. Just average tasting sub in my opinion.

I decided to try this place today after seeing several reviews wasnt my cup of tea. I ordered a turkey sub and the turkey tasted plain like water. I prefer subway. The subs are good proportion and a whole lotta lettuce. The cashier and staff were pleasant!

You know when some one says " The good Sub Station". This would be the one. You might live right next to the other one. But this is the one you drive to because it's so much better. Now there is a reason for that. There is a middle aged man working in the back with glasses a touch of gray in his hair and a snarl on his face as he slices and preps every thing. That guy is the reason. He is always on point and calls out mistakes, He is a rock star make no mistake Mr. Guy in the back yeah we see you and you are the man. Also if that guy is not there the food is bad for some reason. So that 5 stars only counts of you see that guy. If you don't, try another day.

I love the subs and salads, but the staff is not friendly at all. Plus you can’t hear what they are saying behind the plexiglass, and then they act like they get mad if they have to repeat something. Not very good customer service at all.

Great classic bbq stop. Western style. Friendly service and exceptionally clean. The smoke hits you in the parking lot and draws you in. Plates, trays, burgers too!

The portions are generous. And the price is right. Ruth and her family are very nice.

Got the Brisket plate and 1lb of bbq. First off the Brisket was delicious(added picture of Brisket, had eaten some of slaw and 1 hushpuppy already). Not sure if the sauce for Brisket and BBQ are suppose to be the same or just from a different batch but the one that came with the BBQ seemed to compliment the Brisket more. Both seemed to be a mostly vinegar base but thankfully without being as thin as water and with a nice spicy note. The BBQ had minimal fat and a great flavor also! Haven't had BBQ since moving to Newton 4 years ago and I'm so glad that I tried this place!

LPB I a legit southern BBQ joint! Out of the way and across the tracks... seek it out. When I go back I will double up on the hushpuppies.... cause damn! Chopped pork plate and a light red sauce... all very good. Real deal.

This place is a staple in our community. Sadly it’s closing down on Sunday. 75 years in business. The food has always been delicious. Staffing shortages have been a problem as of late. Hate to see this place go. Very sad.

Excellent food, great pricing. If you go frequently and they know you, you get friendlier one on one service, but the service is still nice to infrequent visits also. The food is just like you would expect of good country cooking, it is so fresh and tasty! The salad bar always looks fresh and tastes even better, and many choices. Very quick and reliable service. Perfect family setting.

The Snack Bar is a great place to eat, talk, and enjoy your companions and the environment. It has been around as long as I can remember. (At least since the early 1960's when I finally got my driver's license!) When I go there these days, I see my generation there with their grandchildren and some with their great-grandchildren. As far as I know it is still owned by the same family. The food is good to great and prepare on site every day. You might have to wait a little while at peak hours, but it is worth it! Most of the meats are fried but some can be cooked differently. Expect a little extra time for this to be done. There is an excellent salad bar! The meatloaf is wonderful! Enjoy your trip there!

Great place to stop while on road trip. We were able to order and eat either inside or outside!!! Thank you for not making me eat in my car!! We got fries well done, and they were cooked perfectly. We also got one lil bacon cheeseburger and one regular cheeseburger in a lettuce wrap. The tables, drink station, and bathroom was all clean and staff was friendly and helpful. Please keep up all your great work!!! I will remember this stop for future trips to and past Hickory:)

Service is excellent. Everyone seems very nice and prompt. Restaurant is really clean. However, I was let down when we got our food. I had the crispy chicken sandwich and it was borderline cold. I got the totchos and should have got fries. They were cold and nasty. My wife got the Hail Caesar salad. Chicken was good but it looked like all her lettuce was the ribs of the romaine leaf. The scraps. I’m not a fan of PDQ. Wouldn’t recommend it.

I think PDQ doesn't get the credit it deserves. I love waffle fries and theirs are always good and crispy (how I love mine). Their chicken tenders are top notch and dipping sauces don't disappoint. Price is on point for the quality of food. I recommend them!

Placed an order for chicken tenders and a salad bowl. The majority of the salad was carrots and maybe 2 leaves torn to look like I had lettuce. The carrots literally lined the entire bottom of my bowl. There was a serious lack of spring greens. The chicken tenders were still good and fresh, but overall, I was very disappointed in the salad bowl and I did not get a receipt.

Kind and great staffs. Lovely place and clean! The buns and lettuce is definitely fresh and delicious! My grilled chicken just a little dry. My side broccoli taste great! Waffle fries was perfect!

Of course Chick-fil-A is a staple of any medium till large city or town. So without saying, we all know that their customer service is pretty good and their chicken is addictive. Ive never also been completely disappointed But it's cool to keep it that way. The one time I had an issue with one of their food products, their manager supplied me with a replacement of better quality and nutrition texture and girth right away. Yeah I'll do it again.

Well in the last 2-3 months I feel like this location is having issues all around. My co-worker and I have had problems 3 times from this location ranging from non-existence food in the bag that was ordered, fried nuggets instead of grilled, forgetting milkshakes and lids not being on drinks so they spill all over you as well as not being prepared with drinks in drink trays. Long wait times when ordering through the app and going through the drive-thru which is supposed to be easier I feel like and just overall lack luster process. I don't know what the issue is however something needs to change. This location used to be the best however not recently. I went to the Viewmont location last night 9/25/25 and everything was hot, perfect, and service was superior. I've also been to the the location in the mall recently and the same, food was great and service as well. My co-worker and I have been told we can come back to get our free meals however why would we want to return to a location where the process is subpar? So with that said, I really hope someone sees this from this location and tries to execute the process more efficiently.

Do not recommend the breakfast they have messed up my order the past several times I should have Learned my lesson but this morning I stoped for breakfast and got my order and got to work and went to eat and found hair in my food absolutely disgusting their kitchen staff should be wearing hair nets but obviously don’t I called and asked for a refund and they told me no they don’t do refunds will not be back

This place has gone downhill fast. Everytime I pick-up there now something from my order is missing, as prices only go up and quality only goes down. Most recently I placed an order for 2 kids meals and a meal for myself. Handed the order without my drink after waiting 10 min. Get my drink put kids and car and the kids are saying they didn’t get their ice cream. Had to unbuckle kids again go back in get ice cream. We get home….. none of the sauces or kids drink is even in there. So now my kids are upset they have no juice to drink. Fun. It seems as if Nobody was paying any attention and the employees at chick fil a no longer care. It’s just not what it used to be….. edit: food was extremely mid as well. I could’ve spent less anywhere else and gotten better food. Look at most recent reviews, corporate leadership will know about this location.

This chick fil a is great. 90% of the time I go through the drive thru, and it is always super speedy. Occasionally there will be a drive thru worker who seems less than enthusiastic about being there, and shows it to customers, which I'm not a huge fan of, but I get it. I have only one complaint about this location: THE PARKING LOT. The parking lot here is absolutely horrible. The exit traffic and drive thru traffic go in the same direction and intersect at the most pedestrian heavy section of the parking lot. They could make it a lot better. Granted, they'd most likely have to shut down for a few days at least to fix it, but I would say it's worth it because that portion of the parking lot is so dangerous. When you're going around the building to enter the drive through line, you have to watch out for people leaving the drive through and not paying attention, as well as pedestrians, and often, children crossing the lot to get to cars.

Placed an order right at 6:30 on the way to work. Got there at 6:34. Waited until 6:50 for 5 biscuits. 8 people got their orders before mine. And it wasn't as busy as it normally is. Then they came out rude whenever they handed it off. Normally I don't have issues at this location but today was ridiculous

Love Chick-fil-A but this is the closest location to my job which is about a 15 min drive there and back. The last three times I’ve went my order had been incorrect. On the receipt it’s what I ordered but the food in the bag is someone else’s or something. I get I should check as well but I think ultimately it is their job to get the correct order out.

This specific Waffle House was a spectacular first experience. You can tell that the lovely employees love what they do. My breakfast was cheap, fast and delicious.

This was a great Waffle House! The staff was the nicest I’ve come across in a very long time. Tammy was my server and she was awesome! The chef cooked my omelette and hash browns scattered all the way and it was mind numbing perfection. I will be back every time i pass through Hickory!

I love Salsarita’s in general — the food selection, service, BUT I have a major source of contention for this Hickory Salsarita’s. The prices in the computer do not always match the prices on the menu board — this is FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. I have spoken with management about this, and it has never been resolved. Essentially, they are OVERCHARGING customers and taking advantage of people who don’t notice. This is not fair to the public! Just be aware people if you’re watching your budget. Here is just one recent example from this location. I eat at many different Salsarita’s regularly. You can see the menu board for kid’s meals has it broken down into 1) cheese, 2) pork/chicken/beef, and 3) steak/shrimp categories. However, if you add lettuce or tomato, the price rings up higher. I questioned this, because I ordered the cheese nachos, but the employee said that allowed “cheese only.” I asked, because that doesn’t apply to adult entrees where you add your toppings, and other Salsarita’s do not charge more. The employee showed me that all the prices for the kid’s meals were actually ‘a little bit different’ in the computer depending on what you ordered (his words). That doesn’t even sound right — there is only one price listed on the menu board. Pay attention — more and more restaurants are not updating their menus, and you’re actually paying more than you think you are. Those listed prices on the menus influence our purchases and splurges more than we think, and companies can take advantage of that. Imagine, for example: just an extra $1.25 from 75 customers each day for 30 days = $2,812.50. It adds up quickly! Take care, all.

My biggest complaint was I ordered the taco salad, and the server barely put any lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, or jalapeños... you know things that make it a salad. I had to pay $.75 for a crunchy taco bowl 🥣 😩 and $.50 for a very small cup for water. Needless to say, lunch costs more than I normally like to pay. I probably won't go back. I passed El Paso to eat here, and at El Paso, I know I will get a great salad 🥗.

My wife and I had an excellent dinner at Salsarita’s in Hickory. We both enjoyed their burritos, fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made. The service was quick and friendly, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommend stopping by!

We have had burritos here a number of times and they are always delicious. Fresh ingredients and huge portions. We have to split it between the two of us. Everyone is always nice and the app is easy to use. They also have outdoor seating.

I have eaten at the Hickory Salsaritas regularly for 14 years. Most of the time, its at lunch and the food is good. But tonight I was absolutely blown away by the service I received!! The food good as usual but the service was AMAZING! Xiomara started with a huge smile and was very attentive, Salin was next, soft-spoken but customer focused. Lastly was Lucero and Skyler, ending the line with huge smiles and pleasantries. As my husband & I ate, we watched this rock star team of young people that complimented each other, supported each other and consistantly made each customer feel valued. It was such a breath of fresh air! I may have to start skipping lunch and come here for dinner instead!

I love this restaurant. It is actually just about the same thing , very similar to Moe's Southwest Grill. You can dine in or carry out. They have a fresh food bar and you go down the line and select your own food and sides individually. The prices are reasonable and the food is delicious. This place is definitely a 5 star⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ restaurant. They are fast paced and very cooperative. They always make sure your order is right. Whether youre looking for somewhere to grab quickly, carryout takeout and eat, or to dine it and have a nice dinner this is the place to go. They also provide catering services and they are on point with their catering also. I went there today to get a carryout order and the restaurant was packed full and several people were in line i got in, ordered my food, and got out in less than 10 mins. They were preparing 11 catering orders and they were busy but very fast paced, organized, they pay attention to you and make sure things are correct, and they're very polite, understanding, and cooperative.

Horrible staff who were rude and cheap in the way they were serving the bowl. I asked for one nacho bowl with all toppings in veggies. They ended up being very frustrated and did not put salsa & sauces in the bowl.

Supreme pizza with white sauce on crispy crust is my new favorite! Not had a item yet I don’t like!

I really love the pizza here, and the rating I'm giving isn't a reflection of the quality of food because it's probably some of the best pizza I've ever had. My rating is based on the fact that it is almost impossible to place an order without calling 30+ times. How hard is it to add just one extra line or just update your phone system? I can't imagine how much money this place loses from people giving up on ordering becaise they can't get through. Regardless how good your food is, you have to be able to provide quality service to your patrons. I'll be happy to update the rating to 5 stars once the service aspect is resolved.

This place is awesome. There are always smiling 😃 faces to greet you and take your order. Would totally recommend this place to anyone. The pizza is great so are the subs. Get the 13 inch it makes for great leftovers for lunch the next day.

The crust on the pizza are delicious! The quality of veggies and meat are Superb! I love getting pizzas from here!!! One of my favorite places to eat. Also the drive through is fast!

Sometimes I have trouble when calling the restaurant, there is sometimes a busy signal for 10-15 minutes but I ALWAYS get my order through, the employees answering the phone are always nice and pleasant, they never sound irritated or annoyed with the constant calls/orders they have to take and they are always nice at the drive thru window. I understand it might be aggravating with the dial tone for the 20+ calls you make, but this establishment has never fallen short on the food they make (it always taste amazing and is correct) so I really don’t mind waiting to order. I love the subs here and Dante’s will ALWAYS be my go to for a hot sub!

Basic sub sandwiches and very awesome pizza. Definitely best pizza in town! The restaurant building is old, unclean and falling apart. If the restaurant would relocate it could easily become the best in town. And, price wise you can't find a better or more tasty option!

Ordered the new Asian salad that comes with an egg roll. WAY TO MUCH SAUCE!!! My salad was swimming in the Asian sauce they put on the salad.... Couldn't use the dressing they provide with the salad ( 2 packs) that compliments and brings all the flavors together. Would've been nothing but sauce and a salad swimming in it!! Usually order from the Springs Road location and it's perfect. This location just adds too much of the sauce! WAY TOO MUCH!! Will order from Springs Road location from now on.

Ordered through Grubhub a salad and the dressing was wrong! Also ordered a a grilled chicken sandwich with cheese and tomato, no tomato, no cheese and it was fried chicken. Definitely crappy service for such a simple order!

The service is great, Keisha the assistant manager is always professional and personable. We usually eat here once or twice a week for lunch.

Placed an order for a dozen donuts at 10:31 PM on August 22nd, 2025 with pickup before 11 PM closing. When I arrived at the drive-through, I received what appeared to be my complete order from staff who seemed distracted and unprofessional. When I got home and opened the box, I discovered I had only received 6 donuts instead of the dozen I paid for - specifically missing all the pumpkin cake donuts I had ordered. This wasn't discovered until after I left because I reasonably expected to receive what I paid for. The staff's behavior at the window was concerning - they appeared to be watching my reaction rather than focusing on customer service, and seemed already checked out for the evening despite still being open. Receiving 6 donuts out of 12 is unacceptable regardless of how close to closing time it was. I have visited Krispy Kreme many times and have never had such a poor experience with such inexperienced, unprofessional associates. Hope this was an isolated incident, but wanted other customers to know to check their orders before leaving.

I ordered through Doordash and the delivery driver stole my entire order, but they were kind enough to remake it as I had someone else go to pick it up from my job. They were professional and another gentleman named Nick called me later to check to be sure I got my order, which he apologized for, but I didn't hold him at fault at all. I appreciated him checking in with me and he was so sweet. I was informed that the driver was promptly blocked from taking orders from that location as well as the driver stole someone else's order too. All in all, this location is great at what they do and I thank them deeply for all they did to make things right.

Krispy creame sucks anymore they took the great cream filled and turned it into a regular donut with cream filling the other cream filled they put chocolate on top YUCK! No assortment of good flavors anymore. I have heard about a place called Mr. Bob do nuts in Marion they say is great with an assortment of flavors guess I will drive 25-30 miles to get a donut.

Came here to get a $12 spotlight dozens, a free donut with purchase since I had just downloaded the app and had a reward, and hopefully a free hot now donut if the light was on. It was 7:25 and the hot now light wasn’t on, my app reward didn’t take, and the dozen didn’t ring up for $12. The spotlight dozens presentation was sloppy as well.

We were given donuts from the previous night after arriving at 7am on a Saturday morning. The app showed hot and ready, but they didn’t have any. A separate instance, I arrived on my bday. The app wasn’t working for some reason, but I showed my ID and the manager was rude about not having the app working but gave me the birthday box “as a one time deal”.

The Lackey Family should be ashamed to allow this store to carry the Village Inn name. The pizza was awful. I like thin crust but this was ridiculous and I know having worked for Village Inn that buffet pizzas have less ingredients than a pizza ordered for the table or takeout but please at least enough ingredients that you are aware of what you are eating and one pizza in 35 minutes is a little chintzy. Finally, kudos to the young man doing the salad bar, he was the only person working. Would not recommend to anyone.

Village in on 127 viewmont Hickory was terrible! Usually is really great! The salad bar was a mess, food ALL IN FLOORS..NO PIZZAS & salad dressing was watered down. Just made my husband nausea from seeing ALL the food in floors!! Wow use to be SO GOOD. we ate one bowl salad& left.NO fresh pizzas out. Pizza that was out was DRY/ old Looking. Not impressed! Ya'll do better!

Great pizza and salad buffet. Ordered a chocolate chip pizza for my grandsons as their dessert. They made it quickly and it was included in the buffet price…

There was no pizza on the buffet except for half of a dried out pepperoni. I asked if they could make a pepperoni and the response from the very rude cashier was there is pepperoni already out there. 20 minutes later they finally put a pepperoni out and the picture is what it looked like. Plus there was a lady spraying down the salad bar glass with cleaner with food sitting under it. I'm not sure you are supposed to spray cleaner over the food. I have always loved Village Inn , but if this is the best you can do then I'm done. Village Inn Viewmont.

This was just average cold pizza, they did allow us to order a pizza of our choice for buffet. But the heat lamps do not keep pizza warm. They have a all you can eat buffet . With salad, spagetti, and a soup. Overall I like the one in Bethlehem better. Food is served hot and fresh there. With soft serve ice cream. The reply I got when saying pizza was cold at viewmi t location was we just put it out ??

2nd Review: we went again yesterday, and a simple word for this place is gross... The pizza was undercooked, the material is cheap, and the food tasted raw. No improvement. As for the service it's pretty much non-existent. The building is still cool though! I wanted this place to be the Pizza Planet, but it's in a church. I wanted the Pizza to be good but instead, we ate Cardboard with dollar tree tomato sauce. Service was to prompt, every plate we got they were didn't allow us to feel the fat kid feeling. No one goes to a buffet to feel skinny, and when you take away our plates we don't get to admire our bad choices. Also, the church theme only makes me pray to never come here again and eat there Sam's club salad bar.

Love this place. Been coming here since childhood. It’s always crowded and not a lot of parking. But if you can park, there will be a free table. Salad bar is amazing. Pizza is good to but not enough of it. Really nice people. It’s usually clean. I highly recommend this place. We will be back.

We were the only ones eating inside, but owner was very friendly. Pizza was great! It's not papa johns or pizza, but freshly made pizza. Tasted fresh and simple. We enjoyed it. Owner will talk to you. I would recommend.

It's one of those places that you miss if you're not aware it's there, but aren't the best food places? The owner is very friendly, and took the time to stand and chat with me a moment about his time in Hickory and how he came from NYC to begin working towards his own pizzeria. He's big on quality control and doing things the right way, no matter if it's more work or time. His handmade dough is amazing, and we loved the garlic knots (which are an amazing deal, btw). He roasts his toppings in house (meat included), and does not skimp on portions. When I tell you I had to carry that box with box hands, please believe that it was heavy! Everything was perfect. We will definitely be returning to try the other menu options! It all looks so good

Hands down the best pizza place around here. If anyone says otherwise they’re LYING!! My husband and I have tried over 83 pizza places in the last two years and Bambini’s is our favorite. To top it off, the owner is always so kind and funny! Don’t let the atmosphere or the parking strip scare you away, this man knows what he is doing!

Very good. The pizza was very thin and had a little crunch to it. It wasn’t burnt but done perfect. The crust seemed like it was buttered. It was a little different but very good. I would definitely recommend it. I will be back

From the reviews we were expecting a great 1st time experience in both service and food. We were disappointed in both. At 5:30 on Saturday night we were the only people in the large, rundown facility. The staff were buried in their phones but were friendly once engaged. The pizzas by the slice had been cooked and sitting out for long enough to be very soggy and unappealing. the reheat process warmed the food but the crust was still soggy and very limp. So recommend ordering whole pies either for take out or dine in.

No AC. Pizza was delicious but it was weird eating inside a 'restaurant' that felt like an empty overheated stuffy warehouse. Service was slow, but it was one person doing everything from scratch by himself. And real homemade pizza is worth waiting for. This was my first experience going there, so I have no idea if that's the normal way it is there or not. I would go back to order takeout, but I would definitely not eat inside again. No such thing as a small pizza here, which gets expensive fast if all the people in your party want different pizza toppings

Best in the county! I moved to Newton a year and half ago and I have been trying all the local pizza shops since then. I dont do franchises. This location is by far the best. Real authentic flavors, everything is made from scratch and is fresh. Try it. Ignore the homeless. They have no impact. Great food.

First time in this location in Hickory. Honestly first time in any of the locations but not my first time eating from chipotle. From the minute we approached the ordering area we were met with complete professionalism and kindness. The fella making our food was super nice and friendly. Kept reminding me that I was welcome to sample anything on the bar! And I took him up on that! I tried the honey chicken and the Barbacoa. Both were delicious! My bowl had honey chicken, white cilantro rice, queso, pico, corn salsa and lettuce. My fiancés was close to that but she added beans. And got a wrap so she could have half of the bowl in a wrap. Got a bag of chips and queso as well. Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is bc I WANT THE CARNA ASADA BACK!!! 😂 Good Job guys! Also we took our meals to go and went to the race track!

As far Chipotle’s go this one is mid at best. They only have corn and lettuce sometimes, not consistently. The last 4 times we’ve ordered chips they have been super salty and stale. Other locations we’ve tried seem to have more ingredients, fresher chips, and warmer food. The staff at this location is always nice and the place is clean, the food just isn’t as good/fresh as other locations. Edit to add: this time the chips were not even edible. Waste of $8.00. So stale and so salty. They got worse as we tried a few more

This was absolutely the nastiest food I have had in a very long time!! I got the honey chicken burrito bowl, the chicken was fatty and mushy and tasted horrible!! I took 2 bites and couldn't eat it. The rice was overcooked and mushy and they put 6 pieces of lettuce in it . I will never eat here again!! Oh and I cut up my own lettuce at home.

Food was good, but the restaurant was dirty, the tables in need of cleaning. The teenagers working there were doing their best, but no one was in charge, so there was much counter leaning when table cleaning and floor sweeping could have been done. Chipotle menu is excellent for good health, but, dang, clean it up.

This is a top tier Chipotle! I'm a Chipotle lover and frequent them while traveling, and this has been the best one I've ever been to! The line moved super fast, the employees got our food in record time, and the food just had way more flavor! Staff was super nice and efficient too. They were simply not messing around. Loved it here!

Every time I come to this location I am greeted with a friendly smile. Employees know what they’re doing and they are so very kind. Other locations around this area do not have as great of service. The manager is obviously doing something right. Bathrooms are always clean, restaurant itself is always clean and you’ll usually see a worker cleaning. I am super impressed with this specific location and hands down best one I’ve been to since I moved to North Carolina. I will be definitely driving the 30 minutes it takes to get here every time without a doubt. Great job😊

I got 2 cookout trays, one with a double order of cheese bites. There were 9 cheese bites in my order. 9. That is one order. My bf got an order of cheese bites and a bacon wrap. He got 7. So you're telling me a double order is 9 but a single order is 7? And I also got 2 corn dogs. They were nearly burnt. But you can bet all of this was close to $25. What a rip off.

I dont know who is cookin in the back but they need to go ahead and clock out for me. I ordered a cheeseburger quesadilla, looks like they tried atleast. and dont even get me started on the “cheeseburger” that got NO cheese and 2 different dry ahh patties. I have been going to cookout on and off for probably 15 years. I've literally only have ever had 2 messed up orders. And they happily fixed it. If you speak with respect, you'll get respect. The staff is always awesome, food is delicious and I really love their milkshakes. Especially cheesecake milkshake. Two 👍🏼👍🏼 way way up!

Cook out is great. This restaurant chain knows how to stay consistent I've been to several in North Carolina and South Carolina. It's always great. It's always moving things through smoothly, and the staff are great as well. This place here is no inside only at the window.

A bunch of the food we got was over cooked and out of the four trays we ordered, three of them were wrong. They put natcho cheese on my burger, gave my kid a third burnt corn dog instead of onion rings, and our "banana nut" shake was just globs of peanut butter! The annoying part is the person taking the order managed to get everything right on the ticket despite the failing com system; I guess everyone else decided reading is optional

Tell me why every single time I come the person at the window is rude so rude will not be back and my order is always wrong I order cheesecake with hot fudge and caramel, and y’all always put peanut butter on it instead of caramel. What happens if I was allergic to it?

Chili dogs are good, beef quesadillas are great, milkshakes are FANTASTIC! Line can be long at times, but staff members can be friendly depending on who you get! I recommend getting the cookout tray and substituting the drink for a large shake... it costs a little extra to do that, but it's worth it!

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Cleanliness = 0. Customer service = 0. I stopped in on my way home from work in Lincolnton to grab subs for me and my fiancé. The experience was disgusting from start to finish. The floor was sticky, and while making my sandwich the employee grabbed a coworker’s cell phone with her gloves on, then continued making the food. Absolutely unsanitary. When we got home, my fiancé unwrapped his sub to find a short curly black hair right on the sub. I immediately called the store, and the so-called “general manager” told me I’d have to drive all the way back because, in her words, “people lie all the time.” I explained I wasn’t driving an hour round trip just to prove their mistake. She claimed she was “the highest” authority after I told her I was unhappy with the customer service and wanted to speak to someone, then hung up on me. Moral of the story: don’t waste your time, money, or health here. If you value cleanliness and customer service, look elsewhere.

Customer service is great, however the formula to building their subs doesn’t seem right to me. The bread is laid flat, veggies down, meat on top, then closed up. This makes the sandwich split lengthwise of half veggies and half meat. Meat was falling out of sub the whole time while eating, and each bite is either bread and veggies or bread and meat.

This establishment used to be great. The past few years it has really gone downhill. The past 2 orders I placed online and when I got there to pick them up they had not even stated the order. Jimmy John’s used to be known for “freaky fast” service but this establishment is definitely not that. Cleanliness also seems to be a problem here too.

While I still like the food I have to quit coming here. No one in front of me and I am still waiting for my sandwich - coming up on 10 minutes. Employees all look like they hate it here. One girl started my sandwich and then switched with another girl who worked on it for a little bit and then disappeared in the back. No more freaky fast. Now just freaky.

Called me at 9:20pm to state that they can cancel my online order for 2 sandwiches because they are closed. I explained that the store hours were until 10pm and the app allows you to order. Worker wouldn’t budge and I regret not getting her name, awful customer service. I live a few minutes away and drove by the store on the way to another restaurant, to my surprise, there is literally no one in the store and the order could have been done. But, workers are lazy and don’t want to do the job they get paid for. Will not be coming back there ever again. Thanks for refunding my money at least!

Food was horrible. My bread was like a brick. Complained and they agreed to make me new sandwich with hot bread straight from the oven. They asked that I wait 10 minutes for bread to cook. Brought me new sandwich and bread was cold as ice, not fresh out of oven as promised. Sme problem several months ago. We will never return and warn everyone we know.

Can someone please explain to me why every time I walk into this location, the employees DO NOT pay attention to their orders. My wife and I get the usual. Hers is a #10, add onions, ez mayo. Mine is a #5, ez mayo. Tonight we did not get that and I am super furious. This location has lost two customers which I'm sure hardly makes an impact. My order prior to this one was missing mayo and not cut in half. This order was all the way messed up. She did not get her sandwich while the wrapper was marked #10. Half of a tomato was on it, no lettucez not even mayonnaise which was supposed to be on both sandwiches. Mine was drenched in oil. It was so slippery that I couldn't even hold it and doused with the oregano. Never again. Where is my money going? A $25 dollar order that was worth in reality $20 because people don't pay attention making these orders. Ridiculous. This place has gone to bad places. Orders are always wrong. Very ample parking lot to get a semi in/out. Everytime i come the staff is nice and the food is always fresh. Good spot to take your lunch break.

The food is always good. It’s expensive but good. This location has a bad habit of leaving things out of your bag. They never get it right. Gotta ask for napkins, straws, etc. you better ask or you won’t get it. Edit: This location is terrible. Waited 25 min in drive thru. The salad we got was very low quality. I went to Arby’s and ordered 2 bacon fries , a chicken sandwich plain , and 4roast beefs I had to drive back because the chicken sandwich was forgotten and it didn’t bother me that much after I drove back and got it . I got home and my chicken sandwich was not plain it had mayo or some kind of sauce all over it . And my bacon fries came with ranch which that wasn’t there fault I should’ve said no ranch but it was new for me and I’ve never tried there bacon cheese fries so I didn’t know what all came on it . Hopefully I can go back Tomorrow and get a refund it was too late to go back and have it changed .

Ordered a half pound roast beef add lettuce and tomato and mayo. The roast beef was edibile but tough and chewy this didn't used to be a problem at arbys They must of used a trowel to apply the mayo the sandwich was swimming in it so much that the bottom of the box was covered in it Worst sandwich I've ever got at a arbys

Came here on my birthday today cause I was in the mood for a frappe with Oreos & caramel drizzle which we get quite often from here & normally they’re pretty good. But tonight it was awful. Sent the fries back & asked for fresh ones, they got an attitude when we done that “it’ll be a few minutes, just pull to the next window” wasn’t even 1 minute & we got handed another fry , barely warm. Sent it back again the lady didn’t even let us finish our sentence & said sure & walked off. Pretty sure they gave us the same fries back a 3rd time. Can’t even eat them because they’re cold. Asked for them fresh on 2 separate occasions still was not fresh. Finally after 5-6 mins go by we got our frappes & she said that she tried her best & wanted to get them perfect but one of them wasn’t even full. I was gonna ask for a refund on all my stuff but she ran away from the window before we could say anything & the line was too long to go back through. I am a general manager at a fast food restaurant & if I had employees that did this to customers & had attitudes when politely asked to fix something they would not work there. Like I said we come here multiple times a week for frappes & it just had to be on my birthday that we had this horrible experience. Highly disappointed :(

I recently tried the Brand-New McCrispy Strips, and I have to say I was highly disappointed. To me, they compare to an oversized chicken McNugget. Same breading and the same taste. These are not like the chicken strips from years past, where the breading was crispy and had a good crunch. And the new creamy chili sauce was overly spicy and fell flat with the "strips". So, my recommendation is to skip the new item and stick with your McDonald's usual.

Tammy and Pedro are the best Duo when it comes to effective customer service with a great attitude. They both go over and beyond in customer service. I hope both of them are getting paid very well for how much they care! I appreciate Pedro and Tammy both for helping me out and explaining to me the reward system on the app, and be impatient and kind. They deserve recognition and a reward with how well they serve me and my community everyday.

I expect my food to be put together and not slid off in the box and almost sideways, especially spending almost 20 dollars. None of my lettuce is actually on the sandwich. Update i went back and had it remade and apparently the first one didnt have bacon and it comes with bacon, but the remade sandwich still had all the lettuce in the box and not on the sandwich. Do yall not know how to make a sandwich? And the first one had a decent looking chicken, the new one has an old looking burnt one. Don't go to this McDonald's or any of them.

My wife and I used to go here every night, and would receive excellent service and good food. But for the last month or so, the new managers who work late at night haven't been that good. After we found out the store was open 24/7 we stopped by around 2 AM, and while ordering, we heard loud music and were rushed off. Ever since Alisa stopped working late consistently, service hasn't been the same.

They literally make you sit in line for 20 minutes just to callously tell you oh well, your order got cancelled. Like okay? Really? Your shitty service made me ten minutes past the 10:30 and now I waited for nothing? That’s fine. I will never come back.

If this had been years ago I would have thrown it at her. 🤣 m writing to express my disappointment and frustration with my recent experiences at the McDonald's located at 170 Hwy 321 Hickory. On my last three visits, I have encountered the same drive-thru attendant, who has consistently claimed that I did not order specific items. However, upon reviewing my receipt, I have found that I had, in fact, paid for these items. Never received items. Today's incident was particularly troubling, as the attendant handed me my order and shut the window, only to reopen it and remain silent when I pointed to the happy meal. When I clarified my order, told.her she only gave him the carmel frappe to go with his happy meal. she shook her head no, which is the same response she gave me on the last two visits. I am aware that she is capable of speaking, as she asked me about my burger order. The manager's intervention was necessary, and she acknowledged that I had indeed ordered the Happy Meal after reviewing my receipt. However, I was disappointed that she didn't care of how there attendant treated me the last two times.

We ordered the 20 piece family dinner tonight. Drove home with it only to find ALL the chicken was burnt. The meat was edible but anything crispy was super salty and burned. With 12 people eating we would never have chicken left over and this picture is what's left and the other pic is a small portion of inedible crust. Also the fries were super cold and there was zero juice in the pinto beans and the biscuits were hard and dry. Very disappointing for $55. I live in Mississippi now and getting Bojangles is a big treat for me. Big fail....

They stop cooking food two hours before close so what they have left is all u can get. I literally came for a bunch of food for the family and they had none of it. Macaroni, beans and rice, breast, etc etc. offered me fries several times though I already told them I wanted a real veggie of some sort. No pies. I’m just over this one. They really gotta do better. Waited for ever to have them cook it then they come out asking can they get me something else instead. 20 mins later. I was finally offered to wait longer for breasts. I can’t afford to lose the biggest piece of chicken and feed my and a thirteen year old, growing, young man.

Biscuit was so hard and dry I wondered if it was from the day before. Iced tea was great!! You would think that the biscuits would have been fresh and soft considering i got there just as they opened. Ruined breakfast. Never again!! I will stick with Hardee's or Buscuitville.

This location inside Valley Hills Mall is the worst location of any Chic-Filet I’ve ever been too. I ordered the smokehouse BBQ bacon grilled sandwich. Regular combo with diet lemonade. Totaled $14.22!!! Thats freakin outrageous! Upcharged for a diet lemonade from a soda that the lady was about to fix me without even asking what I wanted! Yes I had to stop her and she went back to the register to upcharge me! Employees with their pants hanging off their behinds and just plain rude and disrespectful! Not like any other Chic filet I’ve set foot in. Very hectic ordering situation going on as well! Management needs to be looked into here. Also my sandwich looked like it had been slopped together very carelessly. Won’t be back here ever again!

I had the worst expriance ever to day at the mall my food was late. The manager came out. I asked him why my food was late as every body ordered food after us, got their food. The manager asked for the receipt and he looked at me like I'm laying the casher told him that I was right and she took my order so he replied I will take care off it. However he didn't I went back and as soon as he sees me he asked me again for my receipt, I provided the receipt. He took went to the back for a other 5 minute and then he came out and start put my order together. I love chicken Fila and I'm really disappointed.

The food is always freshly made and prepared as you ordered it. The ones taking the orders are always in such a friendly mood. The ones who deliver your order to your car, they are always smiling and happy. It makes you feel good to just stop by there and pick up food. The place was clean and ready for you to sit down. It's just a great place to go through the drive thru or go inside and eat.

This chick fil a is crazy fast and they never get an order wrong. We usually do the curbside pickup. Last time we parked and hit I’m here and started a timer. They were at our car in 15 seconds! I don’t know how they can be so quick but it was impressive!

Chic-fil-A definitely not what it used to be years ago. But the sandwich I got today was awful!! Chicken was like rubber and stringy! Bun was dry. Too much microwave I guess. Another added to the list of “Never again”

I used to love the fast service of this place, but after I waited in line trying to get a refill and no one acknowledged me, I was left disappointed.

My husband got the Nashville popcorn chicken, he got about 5 good-sized chicken, and the rest were basically crumbs. . . That's about the only problem because the service wasn't bad and the rest of the food was fine.

Awesome, I had double smashed burger and my wife had single burger both with fries. The fries were hot and both burgers were fresh and good. I asked about the antenna balls that looked like Jack but had none. The lady manager was so nice , she gave me 4 jack air fresheners and a Jack ornament. Outstanding. Great food at an excellent price and such friendly folks. Love it!!

Three strikes you are out guys! How hard is it to make A bacon cheeseburger, no ketchup add lettuce and tomato. So that’s what I ordered last Monday and it had ketchup. So Tuesday when I ordered the same thing I stressed I didn’t want ketchup. As the picture shows, I got no burger. I’m sorry, sir. I would like the burger to go with my cheese burger. Then I said I’ll give it a little bit of time and didn’t go back until Saturday. Somehow, I wound up with pickles and onions on my burger. I only took one back because I wasn’t even apologized to and stood for 10 minutes at the counter before someone even acknowledge me. So no reason to say anything about the others. Guess I won’t be coming back to this location. Can’t seem to get the order correct.

I order a double cheeseburger with extra pickles. This is a picture of what I got a thin piece of meat with bacon on it. The lady at the window was very friendly, and I appreciate that, but I would rather have my order right.

First off, walking in the store it smelled horrible. Secondly, the burger wasn’t even remotely cooked right COMPLETELY PINK. Third, the workers didn’t wanna work and kept telling other coworkers to come take the order. This store is always having a problem it never fails! This is just nasty especially giving us an extremely old, dried, and turning brown on the inside potato! They easily could’ve said they didn’t have any new potatoes and asked if we wanted something else! And the burger? That’s just neglectful and ridiculous all because they didn’t wanna do their job!

The food was RAW NOT PINK BUT RAW!! After purchasing a sandwich through the drive-thru I take a bite as I was getting on to NC 321 I can tell right away let the meat was cold and very greasy I stopped eating the sandwich until further inspection under light that's when I noticed that the hamburger meat was bloody the bun was soaked with blood and the rapper had blood all over it as well !! I tried to remove the Patty in order to possibly cook it myself ! ( which I should not have to) it was so Raw that I wasn't even able to get the meat separated from the bun without it falling apart.!! I spent over $10 for a combo that wasn't fit to give to my dog even my Coke wasn't worth drinking I will never stop at this Wendy's again and possibly never stop at another Wendy's again please check your mate before eating because you may end up definitely sick!! I tried calling the store with my complaint for over 30 minutes with no answer so customer satisfaction is definitely not on their list that's when I went to Google to post my review to let you know what to look for if you stop here!!

I ordered 3 6piece chicken nuggets and baked potato and a Dr Pepper. They asked me at if i wanted any dipping sauce with my nuggets when i ordered and ended up not getting any dipping sauce and didnt even give me my drink or receipt. Seems like only the best worker are working thru the week and the shitty workers work on the weekends.

Service was good. Got our food very fast. The restaurant looked really clean. The food was hot and fresh. I got the chili and is was so hot I had to let it cool down. The parking can be complicated when it’s busy. I would recommend stopping here for sure. Eat breakfast here for the first time today. Pretty good. They have nice combinations. Well, this McDonalds was unique. Parking lot is designed terribly! Not for traffic certainly. What kind of terribly cheap Manager doesn’t allow napkins to be in the main dining room, only to be doled out by the staff - a real WTH!??!?? That’s being CHEAP! My drinks were a mess with overflow on the lids that weren’t wiped off - ya don’t serve drinks sloppily like that, wipe em off!! Other than that the food was fine, no complaints. Restaurant was clean. Staff was friendly but slow to cook my no salt fries and I waited 10 minutes from ordering. Who am I? I’m a level 10 reviewer with over 114 Million views to my reviews. I don't know how they can mess up a simple biscuits. Sausage egg and cheese sub folded egg for round egg. Is that what I get heck no I get a double egg and cheese biscuits no Sausage.

Disappointed by the Customer Service I went through the drive-thru at the McDonald’s on Highway 70 recently, and while the food was fine, the customer service was really lacking. When we pulled up to the window, the employee didn’t greet us, say hello, or acknowledge us at all. He handed the food over pretty abruptly and had what I can only describe as RBF the entire time. Not a single word. No “hi,” “thank you,” or even a “have a nice day.” I even mentioned to the employee that a simple “have a nice day” would have been nice, and all I received in return was a head nod, which made it clear the point went right over his head. I understand that fast food can be a stressful job and everyone has off days, but basic courtesy goes a long way. My husband also mentioned he’s dealt with the same attitude from this employee before, so it doesn’t seem like a one-time issue. A simple greeting or “thanks” really makes a difference in a customer’s experience. Hopefully, management can remind their team how important those small interactions are.

My friend took 30 kids from Kids' Camp from St. Peter's Lutheran on Wednesday. There were so many compliments about their visit. Manager Omar and staff were kind and had great attitudes during the entire visit. The adults couldn't have been more pleased. Thank you so much for making the visit special.

The food is, well, McDonald's food. What differentiates one from another, other than price lol, is service. At this location, most of the employees are cordial. But there's been a couple times my QP with cheese has been way undercooked. But the major qualm I have with this location, is my coffee. Every time I order my coffee it is completely wrong. I order a Caramel Macchiato, hot, add whip cream and chocolate drizzle. Easy enough. And it's clearly stated on the receipt. Yet 95% of the time, they give me an iced Caramel Macchiato, with whip cream and chocolate drizzle. I don't drink iced coffee. Furthermore, I order on the mobile app most of the time, so my name is attached to the order. I figured at some point they would notice the name with the same coffee order every day, and it would work itself out. I am sad to report, that is NOT the case. It seems my confidence in mankind's common sense, was ill placed. I know it's just a coffee, but for me, it's a reminder of how the world is changing for the worst, one McDonald's order at a time.

I come through the drive-thru 4 to 5 times per week. Even during peak traffic the staff is usually friendly, which reflects well on both their upbringing as well as their employer. Today however, the young female manager on-duty was immature, unprofessional and downright rude. Her behavior was that of a spoiled child who hasn't developed the appropriate social skills expected for someone of her age. Talking trash about a customer in a loud voice, knowing that the customer can hear her little tirade, is about as far from how a member of management should act as can be achieved. That is not something to be emulated by her coworkers nor tolerated by her supervisor/s. Any frustrations or deficiencies in the restaurant should not be taken out on the people paying her wages/salary.

This McDonald's has gone way downhill recently for dinner. My last 3 dinner orders have been wrong and cold. I used to eat here 3 times a week. Never again. There is a young man working there now that uses profanity constantly! This used to be such a great place. I will say the breakfast was still good last time I was there only because it's a different crew and manager.

Biscuits were frozen so they wouldn't throw one on the grill. - Lack of Food Preparation. As a former WH Employee, you should have plenty of biscuits dethawed for the day. Management is slacking. If you intend to have a biscuit, I recommend going to a different store. Will not be giving a single store a 4 or 5 star review until they discontinue the additional .50c per egg. Other restaurant chains are already calling out WH for scamming people on eggs. This egg shortage is fake in most areas Bacon was near raw. I ordered burnt. Eggs were not well done as ordered, instead, they were cooked lightly. Hashbrowns are burnt - Specifically ordered not burnt. Worst service I've ever been provided at a WH. Bacon is currently on grill at the time of this photo. Silverware are dirty. Overall: Bacon came out terrible. No biscuits. Eggs not cooked completely. Hashbrowns burnt. Management is awful - food prep not conpleted for the day, (1:30pm). Food prep should be completed in the menu to cover the entire shift. Then prepare other needs for 2nd and 3rd shifts. 18.25 including $5 tip for hashbrowns, waffle, and eggs. Very expensive garbage.

The food here is usually pretty great. We love coming here. The service is always phenomenal!

A few handicapped parking spaces with easy Van/Ramp access. Beau is an awesome waiter, very polite and friendly, excellent with keeping things topped off and checking to make sure we didn't need anything. Food was okay for a quick greasy meal after drinking a few cocktails at the local bar. Atmosphere isnt very friendly unless there is a happy or "party" crowd in. Even the employees are pretty stiff snd rigid in their actions and mannerisms. I had the Texas Chicken Bacon Melt Plate, and again. It was adequate. Hashbrowns were almost burnt. Waffle was back and hard as a brick. The soda didn't taste great either, its almost like the bib pines need to be flushed and the filters need to be cleaned.. Over all, i'd give the place a 7/10.

Came here on a Saturday morning by around 11 for a quick bite with friends. They were hopping!! But they sat us within 5 minutes and the whole team was friendly and helpful. Mercedes was our server and was great! Stella had great conversation with us while washing dishes and always had a smile on her face no matter if she was working with coworkers or customers. Jacob and Ren were quick to help grab us silverware and butter while our server was busy. The entire team seemed to enjoy working together. Would come here again.

No idea how the food tastes. After waiting for 15 minutes for a table to be clean (all tables dirty with customers eating at the rest) we ask if we just need to pick a table to clean. Staff on duty informs our party of 5 that they are only doing carry out. Why would all 5 of our party come in to pick up a to go order and why was this not questioned when we first come in? 0/10 for poor communication and lack of courtesy for customers. Have never experienced this before at any waffle house of all hours of the night.

Explain to me how this place says 24/7.. two police officers show up and the doors are locked but yet people were inside eating.. keyword 24/7.. the lady just looks at us.. don't advertise 24/7 when we were on the road at midnight and looking for a place to eat for the doors to be locked. When you see law enforcement in uniform and they come to your place of business to eat.. BECAUSE it's advertised 24/7.. you should open the doors.

Honestly was the worst time I’ve ever gone. Been here plenty of times to a point where I thought I knew what to expect. Came in there were “open” tables but none clean. Was told to seat my self so me and my girl did and then were told a few minutes later not to sit where we were sitting. Moved seats NBD. Then after 6-7 minutes finally was asked what to drink and then came back no drinks and asked if we were ready to order so we did. Half the food finally came still no coffee or silverware but kept bringing us food. After about 5 minutes of my food sitting infront of me getting cold and still no coffee we just left. To which the server didn’t seem to care or even know why. All I know is the manager kept complaining she only had 3 servers and I’m looking at the 7 tables they have in there wondering what the issue was. If you need more staff hire more. If you need better staff pay more. It’s not rocket science.

Not better than the old Checkers. The burger was very bland and slimy like and the mayo was oozing out the bun. Chicken bites were rubbery. The only thing good was the fries. I was so nauseated from trying to eat the burger I couldn't even eat my fries. Other than that service was really quick and everyone was pleasant to speak with.

Usually good service, few mistakes until they started using the ai speaker that always gets things wrong and interrupts you ordering to ask if you would like extras. The employees are nice and the food is usually good but ordering at the speaker has become annoying and impersonal. I like it better when the employees took orders because they always got the order right and didn’t interrupt to ask follow up questions that aren’t needed or try to sell you half the menu every time you order.

Went there today around 3:00, I live in Lenoir and had DR appointment in Hickory and I didn't know Hickory had Checker's, brought back memories when I used to live the one in Lenoir and I missed it because they shut down. Anyway I was excited and had the Big burger and fries and it was delicious! The fries were hot and fresh! The employee was very nice. I will definitely be back! The price was fair and worth it for sure! Thank you!

Checkers is old school checkers no updates. I've always loved the fries here. Had checkers ever since I was a kid love the place. Just had it a couple of times recently again and the patty just doesn't sit right with me. Fries are as good as always though.

Didn’t order food. Waited to order for approximately 8 minutes before I tapped on the window . The lady opened it yelled at me not to touch her window, I told her we had been waiting for about 10 mins and she said we had just walked up and shut the window in my face. We checked life 360 and had indeed been there for 10 mins. We left and went to cookout. Bad vibes.

Just ordered for the office on a Saturday lunch, bacon was uncooked , hamburger patties was claimed that they was freshly made and they were dry and salt and they open at 10 and it was only 20-25 mins of them being open . I called the location store 1000 HICKORY NC and I was told nicely “ that their stuff is fresh and bacon was not raw it was cooked to standard and i disagreed , I also asked for my money back and that’s was not a option . However he did agree to replace the order but take a look at the picture and tell me that’s not “ UNCOOKED BACON “! Keep in mind I paid $54 next time I’ll spend my $$ at longhorn 😮‍💨

Since this place has reopened it has stayed super busy. Today finally got the opportunity to go back. The building designs on the outside is pretty cool. Parking here is very slim. Did see some picnic tables where you could sit and eat. The guy taking the orders seemed to be manager or something. He was kind of pushy and made me feel rushed(no big deal just a pet peeve of mine) Got to the window and he took my card to pay, had my card forever I almost forgot it. As I was waiting I noticed the kitchen area was a disaster! Food was mushed all over the floor and empty containers laying around. Kind of dirty looking in general. Maybe they were just too busy to clean? But our food was good and fresh. Got the 2 big Buford combos for 13.00. And the fries are my fav!

Just stopped to get some donuts after running some errands, there were a grand total of seven donuts in their cabinet. It's 5:20 they don't close until 8:00. I was told that weren't making any more when I asked if thats all they had. Closer to end of day I would understand.

Went to place an order, coffee, sandwiches, donuts and was told they don’t accept $50 bills. Last I knew, a $50 bill is legal tender. Apparently they don’t need my business that bad so I’ll find another location for coffee & food from now on…

I went through the drive thru on my way home after an appointment. I ordered an iced coffee and a bacon, egg, and cheese bagel. I mistakenly did not look into the bag to make sure it was correct, and when I got home and opened it, I found a plain bagel with cream cheese lathered onto it. Either they gave me someone else's order, or very misread my mobile order somehow. It was my fault in not checking the bag, and informing the worker that it was incorrect. I tried calling the Dunkin' location, but each time I only heard "I'm sorry, but the person you called does not have a voicemail box setup". I've always preferred this Dunkin' location, so this is very unfortunate.

This Dunkin' location in Hickory is wonderful! Rob, the general manager, is fantastic and always so friendly. Derek is always very helpful and he always makes sure my drink it made EXACTLY the way I want it. Thank you both for making my weekly trips to Hickory even more enjoyable!

They need to clean their equipment and need some type of quality control training. Food is always absolutely disgusting. Burnt and undercooked. How is that possible? A simple bacon egg and cheese croissant and hash browns have never been disrespected so much on a daily basis. Disgusting after taste. Just a crap experience every time. Its convenient for me and I enjoy dunking donuts. Its not a matter of "well just dont go" no, its a matter of, get your stuff together.

Today I stopped by Dunkin after an appointment and I wanted a dunkalatte. Unfortunately they were out of coffee milk. But the lady working the drivthrough suggested an iced coffee that she could make similar to the dunk latte.. the gentleman that made my drink made it absolutely perfect. I am a mom of three and barely get alone time and hardly ever make small purchases for myself. Today I sat in the Dunkin’ Donuts parking lot, sipping on my coffee and had a great few minutes by myself. Thanks, Dunkin!

It was all right I guess but the staff could most definitely use a makeover. Most of them look like they just rolled out of bed after a party night. The messy blue hair and piercings didn't help either.

Overall a good experience. Fair prices and good food. My biggest complaint is how long the wait was in the drive through. I was 3 cars back and had to wait for about 15 minutes before the line moved. I got a footlong hotdog, monster burger, and onion rings. Total was $13. Would be a good place to bring some kids and get ice cream. Monster burger wasn’t huge. Maybe about the same size as a quarter pounder. You might get your food faster if you sit at the tables.

I Love this little hidden gem!! First of all let's talk about the A grade they have in their window!! This establishment is super clean!! They also have one good burger. The food is always fresh and hot!! The banana thick milkshake is my fav!! Definatly one of my favorite spots!! I ordered food and returned home, most of my fries were like potato chips, I called and asked them did they re-fry their fries, and was told no, never. So I had to drive all the way back, another round trip to pick up fresh fries, and payed $4.00 for some onion rings. I was asked how I wanted them fried sarcastically! I said just make them fresh please. Checked when I got to my car, should have taken a picture, the onion rings all 5 of them didn't even go halfway up the cup! I returned them immediately and was given my money back. Now to get home to my cold hot dog, with one small clump of ground beef, and new (Not fresh hard fries) I should have checked them, but they said they were making them fresh! So an hour and a half later. We are ordering dinner because you all WASTED OUR TIME AND MONEY! As you can see in my first review, I give reviews on my experience. And this one was horrible! You should not serve food like this!!!!!

We Grace this place once twice a week minimum. We're not youngsters. We've been eating there since the '70s. The '80s whenever quality of the food is at its lowest prices are at its highest attitudes are at their shittiest. I believe I'm going to give up on this hometown restaurant for good. Hope it gets better in the future but I probably won't know

It's the quintessential Western North Carolina experience, in that the burgers and hotdogs are delicious and fresh. You must try everything "all the way" which in North Carolina is chili, slaw, mustard and onions. Stepping onto the parking lot, it's a blast from the past circa 1970s. It's a family friendly hangout. Very affordable prices in the atmosphere reminds you of maybe an earlier time in your life. Famous for the footlong hot dog, in my opinion it's definitely an icon and a community meeting place and it's one of the best in the Catawba Valley region.

Out traveling for work, wanted something different and local. This place has been here for over 51 years and I can see why. Food was really good, Had a hot dog, bbq sandwich and onion rings with a cherry lime drink. Wow all we're really good! Will be back for the food alone and the price can't be touched. What set them apart is the staff, they great and very helpful. Give them a try if your in town won't be disappointed

Give yourself a lil extra time if you come here. Most items aren't made until ordered. That's why their food is so much better. Certain times of day are EXTREMELY busy.

Captain D'Souza have gotten way over priced for their food. I can go to Captain's galley just up 321 and for the same price get 3 times the food and much better quality.

I ordered the family meal to go. 10 peice fish with two sides and hush puppies. Everything was delicious but I’m still hungry. They left out 3 fish and I let the teenagers eat first so I just got a taste of fish.

We normally order from the one on Springs Road, Hickory, NC, but they were out of cheese bread. So we decided to order from the one on 321, Hickory, NC. The 321 WAY over cooked all our food. Everything was very dark brown and it took away from the flavor. We will not be ordering from here again. Wish we could get our money back as this is wasted food!

The food is delicious they are very quick. They are pretty cheap. The people are friendly it’s a very good place to go if you are very hungry and or don’t have enough time.

Best way to feed an army of kids over the summer, whether it be for a Birthday party, pool/park outing, or you just don’t feel like cooking for your soccer team of rugrats- call ahead and they’ll ensure it’s ready before you get their, or even better- have DoorDash bring it to your door ! Went here for the first time in years not really expecting much and I was still let down. My pizza isn't cut at all I can lift the whole pizza without it falling apart and it's ice cold. At least my friend pizza wasn't as bad

(This was a previous review...see update below) I've always liked Hardee's food. I recent purchased their Frisco burger combo! It was delicious! Yum! UPDATE! 03/17/23: Today around 5:30 pm I went through the Mt. View Hardee's drive-thru and ordered my favorite, the Frisco Burger combo. I ordered a medium Diet Coke with the order. When I got home I kept trying to poke the straw through the lid cover. Finally put my glasses on and turned the overhead light on to see they had apparently put a coffee cup lid ( I guess) on the cup - the reason why I couldn't get the straw through the lid. I took the lid off and this is how much drink I had in my cup before I had taken the first sip. Also, I noted the fries tasted like they had been made at lunch time. The burger was still good but I was very disappointed in my meal overall. I did note I was the only customer in the drive-thru lane and there were no dine-in customers at the time. Now I know why - very disappointing, I don't think I'll go back to that particular Hardee's restaurant.

Do not eat at Hardee's in mountain view. We ordered food from there at 8:00 on a Friday night through their app. The money was taken off of my credit card. My husband went to pick up the order and the place was closed. I called and spoke with the manager the next day, she said that is not true that they were open until 9:00. I'm not sure how that can be since there's no lights on. He went to the drive-thru. No one answered. The drive-thru went to the drive-thru window knocked on it. No one came to the window. He knocked at the front door to go in through the dining that was dark and could not see anything. Now the manager states that they always keep their dining room lights on after hours, this is not true. We drove by there several times since this incident several times after 9:00 in the lights are off on their sign outside and the eat in area. All the lights were off. I was unable to get my money back for something I never received. Manage your stated since she knew that they were opened. It must have been something in our end that we didn't come for our food. I spent $18 why would I not come pick up my food? Don't eat there, they will take advantage any way they can. Most of the times we miss something on our order. Like for me I like extra pickles. I pay for extra pickles. I don't get the extra pickles. We order cookies. Never got those. We were supposed to get drinks with their meals. We never got those. These are things that we didn't bother going back to the store about but $18 I wanted my money back or the food that I ordered. I only gave him one star because I had to pick a star. If I was able I would give him zero stars. Stay away from Hardee's in mountain view

Was 1030am. Cashier didn't want to serve breakfast. Cook heard us & told me he had 1 biscuit so he gave me biscuit, sausage, egg. Was delicious. Coffee was warm due to time of day. Cook made my day. He makes great biscuits too!

Waited 12 minutes for 2 burgers. Ordered a large fry no salt. Didn't have the fries ready after i waited that long. Will never return to this hardee's. The staff is so unorganized and there is no communication between employees. I see the owner only responds to 5 star reviews. That's after scrolling through 100 reviews. They should respond to the bad reviews and get a better trained staff or shut down like the one that shut down on 321 in hickory.

Never come to this Hardee’s unless you are in hurry what do ever. You can be only person in car line or dining area and it’s going to take them 20 Minutes or more to bring your food out. They seem surprised to actually get a customer.

Terrible, extremely long wait and I was the only car there. So I was expecting my food to be hot. Maybe waiting on fries or something. My burger and fries were cold. I waited atleast 15minutes. Second time that has happened at this Hardee's. I will not be back.

The food has always been good, it's rare that I've had anything that tasted old or dry. The tacos and burritos are a good addition. I don't think they've ever gotten an order wrong, either. The only real critique is that it takes longer than you would expect to get your food at times, but you are compensated for the wait. Overall, a solid experience if you're not in a hurry.

I eat here often due to it being right next to the house, super convenient however…. This is the third time my chicken was undercooked. I ordered a drum and two thighs. I was doing some chores around the house and let my kids enjoy their dinner. My daughter complained about her chicken being funny. I looked and there’s still pink raw meat on the chicken. The other two times I had this happened to me I went to the manager. She said that the marinade cause the chicken to have red color to it. She assure me that their meats are fully cooked. But she would make me another. It happened again. Undercooked meats. She made it a third time and this time she doubled or tripled fried it. So I got a dry overcooked chicken thigh. I was upset but I’m not the type to complain. I ate there a couple more times. Nothing wrong with orders but tonight…. I might have to dive further away to find a Bojangles that actually check their meats to make sure they’re fully cooked.

I love their food, but lately their service has gone downhill. Every other time I've gone through the drive through, my order is missing something when I get home, and I have my grandkids with me, so it's more trouble than it's worth to load them up in the car and go back. When we go inside the restaurant, there are very few employees so it takes longer than you would expect at a fast food place to get your food.

WTH is this??? These are some pigeon wings for $10?? And dried up??? I should’ve turned back and returned it but I was too far out already. Next time I will check all my contents before leaving the premise and get a refund!! Waste of $10 when I could’ve gotten decent wings elsewhere.

I am not a fan of the new drive thru service where theres not a live person, nor will a live person intercede should you need questions answered. The automative service suggested trying 9 of number 11, so I did. My husband ordered supreme combo, and I asked if mine was the same? I didn’t know that number 9 was nuggets so as we returned to the drive thru window to get straws that was left out the young girl acted like no buggy, but I tried explaining that I wanted tenders, not nuggets. She abruptly says we have no more chicken and you’ll have to wait 7 mins. My husband drives away. I go in and explain to a male Hispanic for help and he goes right into explaining that he was a fill in and this was a slow store and sometimes they dont have as much food readily available like the larger stores. I visited the bathroom before hitting the road. The bathroom was just as dirty as the rest of the restaurant. It should be closed down for being so dirty in a cooking environment and the manager needs to ashamed by having filthy bathrooms where theres dirt, dust and grime all on the floors and into corners! What does the kitchen look like??? Is it clean??? Never again will I patronize this establishment. The kids running this place have no idea was courtesy, manners and professionalism is! The restaurant was empty and the parking lot empty at 1pm. What does that tell you. They were all being loud and cutting up with each other> kids

Waited at the front counter for 5 min and watched employees walk back and forth before someone finally took our order. Asked and was charged for an extra egg but didn't get it. The biscuits were really dry. Other than that it was ok.

I very rarely eat fast food. I had chemo this day and wanted some Bo rounds. I turned around and went all the way back cause I decided after I was 3 miles past it. I took one bite of the bo round, it was so hard and dried out I couldn't even chew up that bite. Maybe this one on 127 going towards Bethlehem ain't the one to go too.

Poor customer service. People in the back called me fat, cuz I had to come back up because they got my order wrong. Would not recommend. Not coming back

Ordered Uber Eats with this Arby’s. This one is one of my favorites or was, My order arrived an hour and a half late. One of the workers would not give the drinks to my delivery driver. The meat was so thick. You couldn’t eat it and look at the pictures I have included. I cannot believe they actually let this go out the door. I am so disappointed with this Arby’s that we will not be back to this one.

Half pound roast is the best. Ok. I admit I have half my wife's roast beef on my sandwich. Mine was more like a pound. Anyway, Arby's is wonderful. Better than you usual fast food. Good food, clean store, that's a keeper. And yes, I ate every bite.

We tried the Arby's Q today and was not expecting it to be that good. I wasn't aware of this sandwich, but it was very nice. The bbq sauce had a sweet taste but not too sweet.

My mother and I stopped into this location and we hit the drive through and walk in checkout separately. The staff at this location were casual yet cordial and the checkout and drive-thru were very quick (I had only just pulled my card out of them machine as they were handing me the bag of four roast beef sandwiches). I had forgotten to get some sauces for our sandwiches, and my mom had chosen crinkle fries instead of curly (which the crinkle are still quite good, but it is Arby's after all), So we swung back around and hit the drive-thru a second time and ordered a large curly fry and requested "plenty of Arby's and Horsey sauce" and we were definitely not disappointed. Overall, this whole ordeal of making the initial order, realizing we forgot in the sauces, swinging back around and making the second order, only took a total of ~5 minutes. TLDR: The staff at this location are casual yet cordial, and quite considerate. Our check out process was very quick (Even with us having to swing around a second time due to our forgetfulness). And our experience overall was very positive. This Arby's location is the textbook definition of fast food. They do one thing, they do it well, and they do it quite fast.

Polite and professional staff. Never had a bad meal there. The Brisket sandwhich is the best...A+ for food and service.

This location is pretty good. I waited 13 minutes in the drive through today. Not bad considering it was lunch. Food is always hot and fresh here. Drive thu employees are always nice. I would recommend this location for sure. We come here often.

Golden China Restaurant was pretty good. I picked up the usual General Taos Chicken. The meal came with dark meat. I forgot to ask them if they could substitute the option for white meat instead. It’s a pretty nice spot to go pickup and take back home. The inside was not very big, can’t remember but I believe there wasn’t many chairs or tables if any. This place came recommended by a local friend. I would definitely pass on the recommendation to a google viewer whom pays attention to reviews before visiting a place.

I have been here a lot and because of the latest reviews I almost didn't go. I read reviews saying not as good as it was, under new management. I went thinking most people don't real know good Chinese food. Because I have been to many places in the past I always found golden china to be the best. To me it still is. Food was hot fresh and tasty even after drive from there to home. ( right below blowing rock) Thank you Golden china for the great food.

So the food is good, but prices are way too high. Also they don't have any prices listed and no menus with current prices. Our order should have been $85 according to a menu about a year old, I was charged $130. That is outrageous. This place just priced themselves out of a customer.

Ok people, this is the very worst food I have ever eaten. I always thought you could not mess up a house fried rice. Well, I was wrong. The rice was yellow and had a funny smell. The egg was microwaved, chopped up, and tossed in the rice. All meats were soft and mushy. Needless to say, the shrimp scared me. My girlfriend had Mongolian beef. I'm not sure what went on with this beef, but it wasn't beef. It was a fluffy, slimming something. It looked like beef, but it was not, period. The egg roll was dripping grease and mushy on the inside. Now, let's talk about the restaurant. Covid is over, but the plywood and plexiglass barrier is still in place. They are still passing the food through a makeshift cubby hole. The waiting area has probably not been vacuumed in a long while. The sauces were in cardboard boxes with the lids cut off. Buyer beware. We choose not to eat more than a few bites, and it hit the trash can. A fried rice and Mongolian beef. $26.38. It is expensive but doable if the food is good. We could have eaten just about anywhere for that amount of money. What a mistake. The workers were very polite.

Guess it all depends on who's working, what kind of experience your going to have. Four days ago, I was there...ordered the same thing I always do. Today, I go order my usual, get ready to put my card in, and see the price is almost $6.00 more than it was 4 days ago. I question it, he said the pandemic, food cost more! Ok good one, I'll go with that. Get home, its less food, white rice that has set in a rice cooker all day, (usually comes with fried rice) and the food was not even hot!!! I ask the guy if the menu had updated prices, and of course it don't! Had someone else to Call, they get a different price. Food is not the quality it use to be!

My husband and I ordered food. Simple lo mein and fried rice. My husband got sick immediately after. I didn’t I assumed it was just him. I ate the left overs the next morning and I ended sick immediately after as well. Not sure if it’s due to the amount of grease that was in the food or what. Sucks I use to love eating here. :(

Awesome place ran by great people. It's the best fast food Chinese in town.

Food isn't bad but it used to be so much better. Something has changed and the food isn't as good anymore. For instance, the sauce used to be better tasting and more plentiful, but now it's not. Also the sign on the wall said 5.95 for my order but they ended up charging me almost 10 dollars. Probably won't go there again.

The food was amazingly fresh, and the vegetables were crispy and had a smell crunch (beef and broccoli). The rice was soft and fluffy, and the sauce was perfectly seasoned. Can't forget the service. It took longer than normal but that's because the meal was made fresh as I ordered it. Been back and will keep going back.

Paid $31 to be shorted 2 chicken tenders on a 6 piece meal and to hardly have any salad in the salad bowl ordered. 4 teeny tiny pieces of chicken when we paid for 6 tenders. wont be coming to this location again.

So I just got dinner from this location about 30 minutes ago. I got chicken and fries for my wife and kids and got a Cobb salad for myself. The salad I got had 2 long hairs in it. One I discovered after taking a big bite.. So my wife calls em while I'm brushing my teeth and she's telling them about the hair I pulled out, etc., and at first they denied any long, light color hairs belonging to anybody there. So, I speak into the phone that I just want a refund, and they say "we don't do refunds. We can make another salad". I said "I don't want another salad or anything else from here. I just want my $ back on the meal because why would I want to chance getting more hair covered food from here? Or why would they think I still have an appetite after this? The food itself was pretty good, I gotta get them credit there. Nobody had any complaints on the taste. But I have very little time after work to spend with my family. I work 12 hour shifts, 5 days a week. My time is valuable and it's only right that they do the responsible thing and make it right. Isn't a big franchise like this supposed to have some principles?

Dominic took my order at 2:50pm. Dominic should spend less time flirting and laughing with the girl he works with and get the orders right. Try checking them like the manager does before it goes out the drive thru. I got a fried Cobb salad with no bacon or fried onions with extra ranch and a med drink. Dominic hands my order out the the window because apparently the girl that was there could do nothing but laugh and then turn her back on me. He gets ready to close the window when I have to ask for my drink. I get home and there’s bacon on my salad. There’s 1 ranch dressing packet and 2 ranch dressing dipping cups. For a salad. I paid 15.00 for a salad and drink for this? This is why I stopped going to the Lenoir Rhyne one. They need to bring the little female Hispanic manager back. She was awesome and I never had a problem. This store is 5 minutes from my house. I’ll make the extra drive to go to chick fil an instead.

Passing thru been eating Canes chicken lately wanted to try some zaxbys ehh Im pretty dissatisfying small and dry tenders fries were warm to touch same as tenders for right at $10 just some food they love to upsale multiple items 🤧😭💵 sweet tea 😕

Service was terrible asked for double fries with my meal because my gf is allergic to coleslaw and got coleslaw anyways went back and the night manager and crew was nonchalant about the situation after me explaining my concerns and was told the store was closed and they didn’t have any food to remake my order after having me wait in a parking spot for my food. Asked for extra chicken on my salad and didn’t get it. Went back the next day to speak to the GM and explained everything asked for a refund because we couldn’t eat our food and was told no. Asked for the district name and number she said she didn’t have that information so I then asked for corporate number she said she don’t have the number either. I eat at this location very often and the get that type of treatment and experience is not acceptable. Employees and Managers are nonchalant and don’t care. Not sure if I will return!!!!!

Tried ordering 3 times in the drive thru and the woman couldnt stop giggling with her freinds to take my order. Do not eat here. Wanted to speak to a manager and got no one. They do not care here you are better off elsewhere.

All the tables were so sticky and nasty. And I do mean every single one. First time there. It was late evening. Not busy. I'm not a fan of their chicken whatsoever.

It tastes like an elevated McDonald's! That's my first thought after taking a bite of my single butter burger with cheese, ketchup, mustard, and onions. The fries are excellent and the frozen custard is so smooth and delicious! My only complaint is that this place is so busy and packed all the time. It's hard to find parking, and if you aren't familiar with their menu going through the drive-thru can be a bit intimidating. But the process went very smoothly. It does seem like waiting are your order is pretty normal but I don't mind if it's being made fresh. Make sure to request ketchup if you need/want it. I was never asked if I wanted any so I assumed it would come in the bag when they brought it out to my vehicle but they did not. Luckily the fries were hot and delicious without ketchup. But even better is dipping the fries in a concrete!

Great double cheese smashburger with lettuce and tomato. Was just a little greasy but not bad. Hot and fresh. The fries were good and crisp and the price was fair in today's world. My wife got the grilled chicken sandwich and said it was good as well. 👍👍 We will be back!

This place was packed with customers, but the staff handled the crowds well. I had the shrimp with cheese curds. The meal was good... better than the vast majority of fast food locales. My only issue came in the form of a teenage server who managed to make the experience quite awkward for my family.

This is my first time having Culver’s it was very good. I definitely enjoyed the professional customer service and the atmosphere when I was dining in. I ordered the six piece butterfly shrimp combo with french fries and coleslaw and a roll. I’ll definitely be back again soon visiting Hickory, North Carolina area.

It was a first and definitely not a last! All employees were polite and working hard including the manager. Food was way better than typical fast food and ice cream was soooo amazing. Environment was clean and had Christian music playing which was so nice to hear! We don’t normally eat fast food but this will definitely be a great treat every now and then!

My husband and I were just passing through and stopped at the sheetz across the street, I walk over here for 2 shakes or concretes, and the ice cream taste great! Can’t complain at all! But the atmosphere was a 0/10 and my 2 shakes took well over 10 mins. Most everyone in the front, at least 6-7 all singing, dancing, rapping like to show the others they know all the words. I was just over it honestly. I wouldn’t come back here just cause of the young kids environment. Food was great though
