The 47 best cheap eats in Beaumont

We visited this place on our way to Houston from New Orleans, after enjoying the crystal beach near by. Ordered their shrimp Po Boys, stuffed mushroom and main dish with fish. The stuffed mushroom with oysters was to die for, the sauce is so good. Had a pretty good lunch

It's very rare that I review anything when it's not just wonderful but I was really hungry and I was really excited about this place because we're not from here and we did a bunch of research on all the different options that had Seafood in the area. The service was not bad, my server was just new and didn't really have a lot of answers to some basic questions and gave some incorrect answers but everybody has to learn so I give the service a pass with a four even though it's probably worse than that but just because he was new not because he didn't care. The atmosphere was fine there wasn't anything wrong. It wasn't appealing necessarily the way the tables are all sprawled out and just kind of chaotic but I think they have live music on Wednesday Thursday and Friday's and that's probably good so I gave it a 4 star instead of a 3 like it probably deserved. Now on to the food, it was just okay. It wasn't necessarily bad it just was very Bland I got the catfish and fried shrimp with french fries and it was just very very bland and boring. I asked for some seasoning salt and that helped but there's just no way to get seasoning inside of something fried as good as when you do it before you fry it. Everybody was pretty nice and again it wasn't bad it just wasn't great. The price for 6 fried shrimp and three pieces of fish and french fries and a coke was only $18 including tax so the prices aren't outrageous. If I lived in the area I would give it another shot but because I don't I definitely won't.

Passing through town trying to out run the latest storm-got into Beaumont, checked into hotel and asked front desk for recommendations for sea food-they said Tia Juanita’s. We were pleased with the humor in the decor and the service-we were sat quickly at a quiet comfortable side table I ordered the 4 piece fish/3 jumbo fish, fried with baked potato instead of fries. The catfish was tender and fresh, the potato was loaded with sour cream and butter as I asked. Hubs had the taco plate and they were consumed so quickly, I didn’t have time to take a picture! 😀 Would have enjoyed one of their frozen concoctions-but we were road tired and had to get back on the road early next morning. We look forward to visiting again next time we pass thru.

The food was amazing—you could really taste the local culture in every bite. The mix of Cajun flavors with traditional Mexican cuisine was unique and delicious. Our server, Angel, was super friendly and helpful. We loved his food recommendations! Definitely a great spot to stop and eat if you’re passing through and want a real taste of the area.

My fiance and I just moved from Nevada to Texas and we’re looking for a great place to eat. Word of mouth recommended Tia Juanita’s. Our waitress (I think her name was Adrienne) was very kind. Our food came out at a very reasonable time! My only critique was that my Cajun Girl po boy had overcooked shrimp (very chewy) and the bread was soggy, but the seafood gumbo and potato salad were marvelous! We definitely will be coming back!

Seriously, make the quick detour off I-10 for this spot. You won't regret it! The boudin quesadillas are to die for, and every other dish and drink we tried was equally impressive. With great food and live music, this place is a guaranteed good time.

This is the 2nd location I've tried. Staff was friendly, the menu seemed to have less options for someone who doesn't eat seafood verse the Port Arthur location. The rest of my group has seafood owns and loved it. The portions are a good size. The roast beef po boy was good, the bread was appetite too crisp on the outside making it hard to dip in the gravy. But overall it was a good meal.

Tacos were great!! The rice & beans were nothing to write home about, but the chips & salsa were great too.

Don't Miss This Hidden Gem! Tacos La Bamba is an absolute treasure tucked away on the corner of Calder and 4th Street. Its unassuming storefront is easy to miss, but trust me—it's worth seeking out. I was introduced by co-workers and I'm so grateful I was! The woman at the counter was wonderfully friendly; when I mentioned it was my first time, she warmly told me I'd been missing out. And she was completely right. As a barbacoa lover, I had to try it. I got it on both flour and corn tortillas, and it was incredibly flavorful and tender. I also made sure to sample their array of sauces. They have a great range from a tangy green salsa to a spicy red one, which ended up being my favorite. This first visit was fantastic, and I'm already looking forward to returning to work my way through the rest of their menu. Highly recommend

A staple of Beaumont. The best place in town for street taco truck style tacos 🌮 in my opinion. The best prices and basically a much cooler version of chipotle with way more flavor lower prices and better service. Will be back for more 🌮 and to try the breakfast. Thanks yall ‼️

Don't make a taco run anywhere else until you have tried the barbacoa tacos here. Unbelievably flavorful and perfect with the salsa verde and a fresh squeeze of lime. Pair it with an ice cold horchata and you won't want to go anywhere else for tacos ever again.

Love this place! The breakfast burritos are huge and so freaking amazing! I usually get mine stuffed with everything (eggs,bacon,pico,potato, beans) just mouthwatering good every bite. Chris got the Menudo and absolutely fell in love with how authentic it is! We will for sure be back 10/10

Great authentic Mexican food!!! I licked the plate clean!! Lol, also their tortilla chips were different!! Nice thick tortilla chips with super chunky salsa!! All in all a great Mexican joint!

We were passing through Beaumont after a loss at the casino and we stopped in here for lunch. Wow!!! This was the best gamble of the weekend!! Service was 10 out of 10 by our server Gage and the food was also incredible!! This will be a stop we make from now on when we are passing through! Even if you are full and have consumed 2 days worth of calories …. Order the Bread Pudding with white chocolate sauce and raspberry drizzle!!!! You only live once and it’s worth every calorie!!

My husband and I are on the road again. We're at the beginning of a lifestyle change and have committed to going all in with a plant-based diet, so we were eager to see what JWilson’s in Beaumont, TX, had to offer after reading some great reviews. While it's not a strictly vegan restaurant, the team went above and beyond to accommodate us. Our server kindly asked the manager to stop by our table, and she personally made sure we had delicious plant-based options to choose from. We ended up ordering a veggie plate and two salads, and everything was flavorful, fresh, and surprisingly filling. My husband is still talking about his salad — and we were both impressed with the personalized service. The manager’s attentiveness really made a difference. JWilson’s was a great find. It’s definitely a spot we’ll consider again the next time we’re in the area.

If you have not had the opportunity to eat at J Wilson’s in Beaumont you are missing out. From the phenomenal services and extraordinary food. We stopped by last week and were so impressed we drove from Cleveland Texas today to go back. Our server Randall was so attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. Dallin went over and beyond to make sure our experience was perfect. My recommendation: the Man Candy for appetizer and make sure you end your meal with the white chocolate raspberry bread pudding! Love the ribeye here it’s my favorite and it’s a nice whiskey bar they have so many whiskeys you almost can’t request a drink and they don’t have it! It’s so convenient and the food is so good give them a try you won’t regret it

Stopped here our way through for vacation. Fast seating even on Saturday night. Music isn't too loud, tables aren't crammed together, lighting is a bit dark but decor is nice. Comfortable and nicely air-conditioned. The server (Randall?) was very attentive and on top of soda refills. I had the house crab cakes. They were perfectly seasoned and had a great pan-fried crisp on the bottom. Lots of meat and not too much filler. Would prefer a bit more of the sauce and lemon but still delicious. Husband had the sun-dried tomato chicken. Huge portion, variety of vegetables and he enjoyed it though it had a bit too much black pepper. He ordered the crème brûlée for dessert and it was massive and perfectly caramelized. I had the pineapple upside-down cake and it was a large portion as well. Moist cake, fresh whipped cream, very enjoyable. Thanks for a nice stop on our trip.

We had a great brunch at JWilson’s! The food and service were great. We didn’t have to wait to be seated and there was plenty of parking. The food choices were plentiful and portions were great!

On our way back to Houston, we saw 2 of your ads talking about this King cake. Coming back from Luisiana and not having a chance to get one there, we thought this was a "sign" to get one 😉. We Googled your store and you guys didn't disappoint. Everything looks delicious. And the person who helped us while she was setting up the cakes today, was very nice and friendly. She helped us decided what flavor to take and she even checked out.

I have tried almost every. Single. Item on this menu over the past 2 years. Everything is divine. BUT if I could beg them to tweak ONE thing- as a fellow baker- the cheesecake fillings. I’m not sure why it hasn’t been fixed already, but it needs a tad bit of sweet and condensed milk and some lemon juice to make it actually taste like cheesecake. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gotten a chunk of plain of cream cheese while testing the desserts.

This was my first visit here (along with my husband). I had a flat white - if you love HOT coffee that stays hot for a long time, this is for you! I had to double up on sleeves it was so hot. I was so excited! I'm always complaining about the coffee not being hot enough or staying hot for very long when I get a coffee out somewhere. It had a nice flavor as well- no bitter notes. My husband had the French roast coffee - he said their description of it was pretty spot on. (I believe he read it on something while I was waiting on mine. He said it was kind of smoky.) We were very tempted to get some of the food/ dessert, but we just weren't hungry at all. It looked delicious, though! The atmosphere-- it felt like being in a small town coffee shop or of a Hallmark movie. I can't quite say why exactly, but maybe a combination of the background music, friendly faces, cozy atmosphere. I would love to come back again to eat in the shop!

This is a wonderful little bakery and coffee shop! They have an extensive and impressive selection of drinks and baked goods. The muffins and cakes were delicious. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. I was with a friend who is an avid coffee and espresso lover, and he said this was some of the best espresso he has ever had. Definitely recommend this local coffee shop.

So we sampled some of their desserts at the Baptist Hospital of SE and they are delicious! They included: the double decker M&M cookie sandwich and chocolate pie with whipped cream. Highly recommended!

We love their frozen coffees. They are extremely kind and helpful abd willing to spend the extra time explaining drinks to help you choose one tgat best suits you! I highly recommend them.

The last two times I've went I've gotten pollo in mole dinner. My boyfriend got the enchiladas Verde. Both were excellent! The only thing is I wanted a Jamaica fresca drink the last two times I went and they were out both times. So I just got sweet tea which was good. Great restaurant!

Stopped here coming back from Lake Charles. Place was packed at lunch. Food was good and service was great.

Review on Mina with carmelas in Beaumont. Carmela’s food smelled so good walking in, that is always a plus. Great server, very clean right down to the utensils and floors. Lots of food on the menu to choose from and great red spicy salsa to accompany the very fresh warm slightly salted chips. Our waitress/server was Senorita Mina Her service blew us away. She was sweet, attentive, a great listener, and satisfied our every need. I could tell she has been a waitress for a very long time. My husband has a tomato allergy, and she went out of her way to ensure none of the items served to him has any tomato products. He received two refried beans because no tomato sauce. He did not have any of the salsa, charro beans, or rice. Then I ask for cheese, and she brought it right away. Food portions were a nice size. She made sure we had everything we wanted and needed and ensured our food was to our satisfaction. Thank you, Mina, for making these first-time visitors experience amazing and joyful. We will be returning in the future. Keep letting your beautiful light shine.

I usually don't like Mexican food, but this has been by far the best Mexican food I've ever had! There was no wait when we got to the restaurant and service was very fast. Once we put our order in, the food came out within 15 minutes. The portions were quite large (which is great for leftovers!), the rice was very flavorful, the meat was very tender, and the vegetable soup is to die for!

You want real authentic Mexican food? This is the place! Best Mexican restaurant I’ve eaten in Beaumont. This is their Molcajete Dish 🤤.

Our waiter was in training but was catching on pretty fast was able to take the order with no mistakes ! he was in training but that didn't stop the woman training him from providing us with great service ! She has been a waitress for 15 plus years she said and it showed , filled drinks without having to ask , refilled chips when they got low everything was on point . The only issue was with the parking its hard to get in because there is limited parking most people park on the side road next to Harmony science academy. Other than the parking its got great food , friendly staff and small bar inside !!

Everything was ok. We got fajitas for 2. It was a good-sized portion. The tortillas were ok. We got Enchilads Verde. It was good but barely warm. The queso was actually tasty but very thin. My son didn't love his chicken quesadillas.

I haven't had eggs Benedict in about 12 years so I was scouring the area. I found this gem of a place. We went during brunch. Everyone's food was phenomenal and I only regret not having more stomach to try more. The bartender was very helpful and an all around cool guy. It was a pleasure finding this place and we will be going here many more times in the future....starting tomorrow....I have a date with a large portion of biscuits and gravy!

Stopped by on a whim on a lucky 🍀 St. Patrick’s day morning! Boy were we in for a treat, they had live music and wonderful vibes inside with the staff as well as the customers; all very friendly and welcoming! If the atmosphere itself wasn’t good enough they had a great selection of drinks and DE-licious food! Highly recommend Everyone pull up!

We sat at the bar top and had a great time! Ed is so welcoming and gave us great suggestions for our road trip. We had the brisket sandwich and beef dip and both were delicious! The cookies were fresh made and super yummy as well! Highly recommend this stop on your way through!

Food was excellent, but can't make up for the lack of service. Went in for brunch. There were maybe 3 tables in the place and a full bar. Ordered food at 1145. 2 entrees and 2 a la carte items. At 1240 I went to check on it and was told it just made it to the table. Not once in that hour did anyone bother to stop by the table and check on us or let us know about the wait. But the manager (?) did make time to visit the table and reauest we throw away a child's drink that was brought in from outside. Food 7/10 Service 0/10

Time warp. I’m from the 1960’s & this place is a fusion of modern tech & Chianti bottles with candles in them. Inside is carefully, tastefully decorated, yet has hints of the Italian Restaurants that were run by olde world, Italian immigrants, from my childhood. The food is every bit as good as you’d expect in a place like this. Of course, we have lots of room here in Texas, but the “feel” is that of a New York Italian neighborhood eatery. The whipped cream, cherry, & nuts sprinkled atop the ‘open Sundae’ status, their menu is an excellent value. iLoveChickenPicatta & Mel loves the Eggplant Parmesan.

Good food with a nice family atmosphere. Decent prices. We paid about 30+ dollars for two with tips, ordering from the lunch menu. Food was very flavorful and the quantity enough that we took home the leftovers for another meal.

A classic family style Italian restaurant. Great food, very reasonably priced, especially for the portion size. Short wait on Mother's Day lunch. Awesome experience all around. Just a little dark, but not dungeon like. Came back for Father's Day, still amazing. Excellent food, you will not be disappointed.

We were meeting the family of my grandson's fiance', and were invited by her sweet family. The entire experience was delightful. While my food was somewhat salty for my palate at the time, the leftovers were perfect the next day. The service was wonderful, the atmosphere was warm and friendly. I would say that it was an intimate setting for such a meeting! We laughed and shared stories about our special young people. The entire experience was exceptionally gracious. I would highly recommend Frankie's to those who would be looking for such a special setting with Italian food.

This used to be my family’s go to family gathering restaurant birthdays etc . It has been a little over a year since we have been and I was sadly disappointed with not only the service but the food was mediocre at best , if it was not salty it was flavorless , My waitress did not accommodate us we had water cups piled up cause she never came to check on our table after we got our food , she never picked up the dishes when we finished , we came for a graduation dinner so we brought our own cupcakes which she did bring out but after we got the bill she never returned , we were very polite to her but she seemed more interested in the party that was sat a little while after us cause she kept filling up their drinks and coming back to there table but we also didn’t speak her language and they did so maybe she was more comfortable but this is a itilian resturant and they were speaking Spanish so I was just so confused by the whole situation and dinner that even thou I did leave a tip she was not very deserving of it that is for sure , unfortunately this last experience left a bad taste in my mouth so I will just drive the extra mile and find a new itialian resturant

Frankie’s is a well oiled machine. The speed in which they brought out our appetizers and entrees was truly something. To be honest it felt a little like they were rushing us to eat and get out of there but the other way of looking at it is that we were hungry and we sure got our food quickly. The portions are huge and they truly did not skimp on the meat sauce for my pasta. I only wish I had room for dessert. Definitely would return!

The desserts and coffee here are excellent, especially the Sicilian cheesecake. Ordering full cakes, pies, and desserts here for holidays or birthdays is worth it. They are always a crowd pleaser. The atmosphere can vary depending on the time of day—sometimes crowded and chaotic, other times more casual and relaxed. The ordering process could be more clear. Sometimes you can’t tell where the lines are but there is plenty of seating and cute items for sale like tableware, coffee beans, cards and more.

When your primary business is selling food and drinks for consumption on the premises, every patron needs to have access to wash their hands. Restaurant losing one star for having restrooms locked. Big inconvenience for customer. It is not as if this restaurant is in a sketchy part of town where homeless are going to come camp in the restrooms. Besides that, the brownie, cupcakes, and creme brulee were excellent. Both the regular black tea and the flavored tea were both terrible. Black tea was still still not acceptable with four packs of Sweet and low and flavored tea was watered down. You're in the South; stop being fancy and just make good tea.

Beware! the Red Velvet cake does not have cream cheese icing!!! I ordered a red velvet cake for my Dad’s bday and it did not come as described. No cream cheese icing or filling like the description says. Instead it had regular white sugar icing throughout. Isn’t cream cheese icing standard on a red velvet cake? Not worth $35

Stopped in tonight for a few gifts for a meeting tomorrow & was greeted with a smile and hug from the Totorice family. Jett went above and beyond customizing the perfect gifts for me giving it the personal touch! Walking in the location felt like gathering with family and friends over sweet treats!

Great place to study and you can rent the back room out for meetings or special events. Ham and cheese croissant is excellent. Their coffee and key lime pie are also on point amazing!

Waited 10min to be acknowledged & told someone would be with us in a few minutes... another 2 to be waited on and then it was with a little attitude as if we were interrupting her. She explained that there was only one cashier & she was waiting on someone (it appeared as if she were helping the drive thru as she kept touching her headset).Nope, too many other employees walking around behind the counter. I can get this kind of service at Walmart or HEB bakery. So I guess that is where I will start getting my cakes.

We had a great dining experience. We were with a group of 12 and had fantastic service. The beverages and appetizers came out quickly. Our entrees were all cooked perfectly. I highly recommend the quail, shrimp jalapeno poppers, & fried pickles. The ribeye is my top choice on the steaks. Hard to not have an outstanding meal here.

Clay and Eric killed it! Their service was off the charts. Our dance company has our annual spring banquet at SG Beaumont every year, and it's almost like the service just gets better and better. We thoroughly enjoyed the banquet room experience, it's always a nice touch of intimacy for our group and their guests. We will most certainly be back, soon!

It was a great Experience for my first time eating here . Ms Heather was a wonderful hostess. I got the BBQ Ribs and fried shrimp with fries. And the Potato soup was delicious.

Wow! Our stakes were absolutely delicious. If you have some extra money this is a great place to get a stake. I ordered a side of sweet potato fries, they were cut like little shoe string size, they were so good. We got a slice of cheese cake to,it was so good with the strawberry sauce on top! Our waiter was wondering to. We had a Very enjoyable experience.

The service and atmosphere was great just not my steak. Steak was cook to perfection but no favor. Hopefully they see this and add more seasoning onto their steak. The side were delicious highly recommended the Brussels sprouts.

Outstanding Service from Clay Hicks at Saltgrass in Beaumont! I had an amazing dining experience at Saltgrass in Beaumont, and a big part of that was thanks to our server, Clay. From the moment we were seated, Clay was friendly, professional, and incredibly attentive without being overbearing. He made excellent recommendations from the menu, kept our drinks full, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. It’s clear Clay takes pride in his work and genuinely cares about his guests’ experience. His timing was perfect, his attitude was upbeat, and he handled everything with ease—even during a busy dinner rush. If you're heading to Saltgrass in Beaumont, definitely ask for Clay—you won’t be disappointed. Five stars all the way!

I had the Goat cheese burger with sweet potato fries. My husband had The Big Daddy. There were others at the table that had burgers, and a chicken salad. Everyone's food was good.

The GOAT cheese burger was so good! Their fries are made fresh and loved the seasoned ones. I’d try all their burgers if I was able to have the calories. Very good place!

The guy at the cash register mumbled, the food tasted awful. I had the bacon cheeseburger and Parmesan fries, the burger tasted like they found it behind the grill and the Parmesan is the cheapest trash around. Would not recommend.

Loved this place! We were on the way to San Antonio and stopped for a local burger, we weren't disappointed! Everything was great! Be careful you'll miss it if you're not looking hard enough. It's a small building. Make sure you tell them how great the food is!

Passing through Beaumont on way home and came across this little gem. Service was great, food was amazing, atmosphere is quaint. I had the turkey burger and it was moist and dressed with loads of fresh veggies. One child had fried chicken sandwich and she was very pleased. Second child had the kids cheeseburger and she smiled through the whole meal. Third child had the double cheeseburger and it actually filled him up!! Husband had Jalapeno burger and he raved about it. We tried sweet potato and regular fries. All delicious! Worth the drive off the freeway!

10 out of 10. Daddios is not the cheapest, as they have no combo specials. Everything is a separate charge. They taste great, though. Even the chili dog. (I do not like hot dogs, but this one was pretty good) Its not a place to come if you're in a hurry. They do work quickly, but they have lots of customers, be patient!

They said Buffalo , they have bison ?! So I order that and asked for meat and cheese, I must not have spoke loud enough they didn't put cheese. I got the cheese though. Thanks

Very relaxing atmosphere. Waitress was very attentive. Food was delicious. I had the Pad Kee Moa, it was amazing. My husband had pad cee ew he really liked it.

Always have enjoyed Chaba Thai for the last ~10yrs. The service is always good, and the food delicious. Drinks are also good, with excellent mojitos and other options. Recently they have been doing limited time special dishes, so far all have been really great. The latest of these was a Salmon Choo Chee, excellent light fry on the fish and delicious curry.

The pricing was very reasonable. Whenever i visit the atmosphere there is always peaceful. Wide noodles, cashew nut pad are my must try!!

We are fans of Chaba!! The food is always fresh and delicious. The service is always friendly and efficient. I wish they would get a few more choices in tequila! We would go there every week if they did! Don Hulio or 1800 would be great! Their lychee martini is delicious!

Chaba Thai Bistro had good food with generous portion sizes. It is located in a cool plaza. The beef tendon balls and the pineapple curry are items you don’t find in every Thai restaurant. My favorite was the beef tendon balls. The pineapple curry was quite good as well. They do have happy hour between 5 and 7. Even though our server had a bunch tables, she handled it like a professional. Her service was attentive and prompt.

This is my first time experiencing Chaba. The atmosphere is nice, our server was good, and the food was delicious. I know I will be back for the #46, but there are so many choices on the menu it's going to take a while to try them all.😉

Wow, legit Thai food in Beaumont, TX. The ambiance is very nice. Gentle jazz playing. There's a bar, for people who are into that. The food is fantastic. I'm assuming they are pretty successful as the place was crowded and they have two locations in this city. Check it out

Food was delicious. The hot mess fries were a perfect blend of sweet and spicy. The sweet banh bao was a small serving but perfect for a light lunch. The pork was tender and flavorful. The restaurant is a little quiet but allows for a relaxed dining experience.

$23.45 + tax for these two photos. I had to call and make sure we got everything we were supposed to because of how small the portions were. The explanation I got was “those are very high quality shrimp”. This honestly blows my mind to the point I find it funny. 😆 I usually don’t leave reviews like this but just had to with this one. Yes, I know inflation has hit everything, but I haven't seen shrink-flation until this. We’ll just stick to Crystal Pho / BMT from now on, they seem to be less affected by whatever is going on here.

This place is amazing! I tried the marinated chicken with the Hot Mess sauce and it was very good. The fresh beignet balls was excellent too. Definitely one of my favorite spots!

We were in Beaumont for a night and decided on this place for dinner. The map took us to Sweet Basil through some backstreets and for a moment we were concerned about where we were going. But then we emerged into a regular shopping center and we breathed again. The place, it being a Thursday night, was pretty empty - only about 8 or 10 people in a place for about 50ish seats. We were also a bit early, about 7pm. The waiter hands us the menu, we take out time and then choose a plate of sweet bahn bao (those little fluffy breads filled with meats and veggies) with marinated pork and a plate of hot mess fries. They were both sooooo good. After we were done with the starters we ordered a sweet basil special fried rice to share. The plate was huge and, again, very flavorful. By the time we finished, more people had started coming in. Later, we told some other local people about the place and they who said that this was one of their favorite restaurants in town. Our check for the two of us, with tips, totaled just above $50.

Finally tried Sweet Basil! The hot mess fries were so good, we loved the adjusting fries, the meat was fantastic. I got the Koko short ribs, best marinate, cooked to perfection with that char! I loved my dinner! My husband got the bahn mi, it was good, but for the price and taste more meat is needed on it. The main flavor you taste is the bread, which was good, but to much compared to the meat. The restaurant was clean, the staff members were friendly and kind. Plenty of parking. Will return!

Honestly pho four seasons is on a whole other level as this place. The broth was more on the salty side for my liking and people who got there after us got served before us. On a brighter note the person who cleans the table afterward chased me down because I forgot my purse. He was awesome.

The restraunt is deceptively nicer inside than out. It's located in a small strip mall along with a dollar store. However, the atmosphere is nice with instrumental versions of popular songs playing and nicely dressed waitstaff. Unfortunately, that's where my positive experience waned. Our meal was the hummus and pita, a gyro with Greek side salad, and a gyro pizza. Water to drink. The hummus was tasty with just the right amount. My wife's reported that her gyro was good, and the Greek salad was fresh. My gyro pizza was a different story. Undercooked, soggy, and wet. Ended up eating it with a fork because the wet dough wouldn't hold the toppings. As far as I can tell, it was cooked just long enough for the cheese to melt. We ordered 2 lemonade vodkas from the drink menu, and had not received them a few minutes after our food was at the table. I asked the server, and she seemed surprised, headed for the bar, then came back and said they didn't have the ingredients to make it. We declined the offer to choose another drink. To top off the meal, we never had our water refilled. This is the 2nd time I've tried this restraunt. We ate here 2 years ago shortly after moving to the area, and it simply wasn't a good meal. Thought we'd give it another shot and got the same results. Great potential. Parking lot is usually pretty full...Im just not sure why.

This place is such a good spot. Food is consistently good both at the restaurant (where service has been great) or picking up a to-go order. All I have tried is very flavorful and brings some welcome variety!

Aweful! My first time trying this place which has excellent reviews. I ordered a sampler entree which had chicken, gyro meat, fries, red onions, tomatoes and a yogurt type did. A side of garlic hummus. Unsweetened iced tea. May server Paloma was terrible too. Brought the food and I never saw her again! No iced tea refill. I wanted to order something different because this dish was repulsive. Everything was greasy and dry. They chop up the chicken and beef into small pieces. I think if it were sliced perhaps it would not have dried the meat. Why was everything so greasy? The fries were soaked in grease so I ate the half that weren't too bad. The garlic hummus was excellent, as was the iced tea and Tzatziki sauce! I went there too hungry and didn't get up to find the server to order a different dish. I will return because the yelp reviews are mostly positive. Standby for my second review.

First time dining here and will definitely be in regular rotation. The place is clean and quiet, so it's perfect for. quiet lunch or date night. The food was fresh, our waiter friendly and the prices are phenomenal for the quality and freshness! Edit: We have visited multiple times and the food is still consistently fresh and delicious and the service has been great every visit. Definitely a local hidden gem.

I think its a new spot in orange where the pizza hut was previous. The young ladies that took my walk in to go order were dressed neatly and restaurant was clean and quiet. Food was made quickly and very fresh . 13 $ for dinner is a treat these days. Gyro was delicious and fresh as well. If you havent been to this place i suggest you try it and support a local business family. You wont be disappointed.

Overall, I was happy with the experience. No wait to be seated, server wasn't inattentive or overly attentive. I got plenty of food (and the chicken souvlaki was cooked SO well, delicious!) and even my picky child was super happy with his food.

This is a beautiful little restaurant. They have had some changes recently and the whole place is just absolutely lovely. The food here is so fresh with attention paid to every detail. And the best part is the food is reasonably priced.

Came on a Monday after hearing about this place from a coworker. It was nice and clean inside, I was greeted, they told me to take my time and decide what I wanted so I didn’t feel rushed and pressured to order quick. All of the choices looked fresh and amazing. I got hamburger steak with mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese and stuffing. The gravy as you can see is nice and dark and so flavorful with a bit of a nice kick that is hard to replicate without being overly spicy. The hamburger steak it’s self nice big portion and seasoned well. The Mac and cheese and stuffing were pretty good as well. This place reminds me of grandmas cooking it has such a good vibe to it. And the koolaid was not too sweet just right.

So glad I was able to try Richard's cafe! The Beef tips were delicious, the gravy was fantastic. I loved the green beans and the sweet cornbread! My dad said it was the best pigs feet he's had in the area! I can't wait to go back and try the meatloaf! The staff is some of the friendliest I've ever encountered! They're wonderful! There's parking lot on the side of the building. Thanks for the delicious lunch!

I love Richard's Cafe and have enjoyed the menu options for a long time. It's a true down-home/Soul Food Kitchen. It was the perfect place for my friend's family, who owns the restaurant, to get married. My favorite dishes are the pig's feet, ox tails, or turkey wings.

Yes. The gravy is dark. And soooo good! Glad I gave this place a try. Will definitely return. We pulled up right at opening and there were already several people ahead of us. Obviously has a strong local following. We tried smothered chops, hamburger steak, and beef tips. The kids immediately liked it. Parking was easy, staff was friendly and fast. The cabbage was already flavored. No hot sauce needed. Mac n cheese, sweet yams, cabbage, cornbread and taters and gravy were all on point in large servings. And the tea is just right. Will definitely return.

I recently dined at The Toasted Yolk Cafe, and overall, my experience was just okay. The food itself was decent—flavors were there, and everything was cooked properly, but nothing stood out as particularly special or memorable. It was the kind of meal that satisfies hunger but doesn’t leave a lasting impression. Service was also just fine. The staff was polite and efficient, but there was no extra effort to make the experience feel welcoming or engaging. It felt like they were just going through the motions. My biggest disappointment, however, was the presentation. The dishes were plated carelessly, almost as if no thought was given to how they looked when they arrived at the table. While taste is the most important factor, presentation adds to the experience, and this was definitely lacking. Overall, if you’re just looking for an average meal without any frills, this place will do. But if you’re someone who appreciates a well-presented dish, you might leave feeling underwhelmed.

Everything 10/10 French Toast was just the right size and fresh hashbrown casserole hot and fresh as always bacon and sausage cooked just right definitely can't complain at all I'll definitely be back

My husband and I recently came to this location for brunch. We decided to sit at the bar, and I'm so glad that we did. Our server, Nicola, was super friendly, easy to talk to, and really made us feel welcome. She checked in just the right amount, gave yummy recommendations, and made sure everything went smoothly. It was my first visit at this restaurant chain. I sort of expected something like First Watch or Snooze, that have, among other dishes, also some more healthy options and some modern takes on classical foods. But I didn't find any, and resorted to a vegetable omelet, for usually, even in the most traditional diners it's fairly light and relatively healthy. However here is was a huge dish, inundated in cheese. It was barely edible. During the time I was there I was asked no less than 6 times if everything is okay. A little suffocating. I don't think I'll go there again.

I actually don't like to post reviews on this one, not because they are bad. But because I don't want my favorite quiet very good import quirky lunch spot, to be jammed with people. It really is the only place in town I can get actual Italian hard salami. Not to mention, daily samples of foods from all over.

The owner and his wife of this establishment are exceptional and provide a wide variety of goods from around the world at great prices. However, the deli staff are unprofessional and rude, displaying a sense of entitlement and ownership over the store. This behavior is unacceptable and has caused us to reconsider our patronage. We used to enjoy shopping and having lunch here, but the negative attitude of the deli staff needs to be addressed.

Babies is a great person and very informative he has wonderful things in his store.

Abbie's was recommended to us by a lady who lives in Orange, TX. She spoke highly of their gyro so I just had to try one. It was excellent. It was an explosion of flavorful ingredients that tasted delicious all the way to the last bite. The special olives that were served on the side were very good. My husband ordered the corned beef sandwich. It was just as good as the gyro. Now that we have tried two different items, I look forward to returning to try more things on the menu. We truly loved this place and will most definitely visit again.

THIS is what food is supposed to taste like - got a Greek Pizza, was prepared to order with very fresh ingredients. Have shopped and eaten here before; staff is always very friendly and helpful, the store portion stocks some Mediterranean or Middle Eastern type foods that you won't find in your local grocery store - but the Mediterranean food in the cafe is the big draw here. Excellent.

This is the best ice cream place I’ve found in a long time, and I eat a lot of ice cream! The woman who served us was friendly and helpful, all of the flavors I had were very good, and the egg nog ice cream was spectacular.

I should've stopped and tried this place a long time ago. The fresh home made ice cream are a must for any after dinner treat. After eating at Titos Mexican Restaurant next door you have to save room for yourself a lite taste of heaven in a cup or cone. Enjoy! 🍧🍦🍨👍

If visiting this location and you get a waiter named Michael then you’re in good hands ! His service was excellent! Very nice and did his job great! The staff at the front desk needs a little work on time for greeting customers and friendliness. Several times visiting here and every time we have had to wait about a hour on food arrival after ordering. The place is clean and the food is always pretty tasty!

I eat at cheddar's for the croissants... they're fantastic. The place is a bit sticky, but it is family friendly. Two adults and two children can eat for around 55 dollars. So overall, it's not fancy but good for family night out.

My mom and I had a late lunch with a wonderful server, Princess. She was indeed a magical soul. We appreciated her guidance as that was our first time at Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen. I look forward to many more visits to explore the culinary delights that await.

Shared time and a meal with friends after an event. Despite the fact that everyone at the event wanted to dine here, we were sat very quickly and received outstanding service. Right at the end of our meal, our server told us that she was just served with a party of twenty and asked for patience while she got them started. Kudos for keeping us informed but that was our clue to leave just the same. We received outstanding service throughout our meal. Food was served promptly and was hot. Great experience overall.

The waitress Cassie was so nice and so helpful with her recommendations.. she made our dinner and absolute treat.. From the Espresso Mocha Martini.. to the Peach Belinie the drinks were AMAZING! The food was fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious! If you want some awesome Italian food this is the place to come.. the food and service was top notch for sure! I definitely recommend coming here and make sure you ask for Cassie! We will definitely be coming back soon!

As usual the bread with herbs and olive oil was outstanding! Worth the drive over, but disappointed about the ravioli it just didn't taste as good as you would expect. My husband ordered the spaghetti with meatballs, which is normally pretty good. But also this dish wasn't that good tonight. It was also more pricey as I remember.

Service was great and restaurant is very nice. Food is ok. Spaghetti and lasagna are mediocre. Stuffed mushrooms were awesome. Salads are good.

When walked in and were pleasantly greeted by the hostess. Immediately sat in a mostly full restaurant. It was just my wife and I. Kyle was our waiter and he did a phenomenal job. Very attentive and polite. He offered his favorites as options for us to eat for appetizers, salads and meals. He kept our drinks filled, had our salads out quickly and fresh bread coming. Our meals came out and were absolutely perfect. We ordered Pollo Rosa Maria and The Johnny Trio. After our meals, Kyle informed us of the $10 take home meals. So we ordered our meals again for lunch tomorrow. Daniel, GM, was walking around making table visits and even bussing tables. He was in the kitchen assisting when needed there as well. It was an overall great experience and can’t wait to come dine again. Make sure to ask for Kyle when you go.

Clean, quiet, and quick service. The $10 Take Home Entree is a great advertisement when feeding family. I devoured the chicken Marsala with asparagus and hubby had the Chicken Trio.

I feel that Cracker Barrel is completely boring. Biscuits were dry. No gravy available we were told because no milk to make it. The hash brown casserole was flavorless, coffee was tepid and my waitress never checked on me to refill. Every request I had to stop her as she served the table next to us. Radio was EXCESSIVELY LOUD in the restroom!!! I rushed to get out. How annoying. Decor is dusty, old and boring. Who even cares to go to Cracker Barrel anymore?

I hadn’t been to a Cracker Barrel in decades — last time was on family road trips. It was just like I remembered, and still really good! The gift shop is still my favorite part after all these years. Some things never change, and I kinda love that.

Food was cold by time we got it. Taste wasn't good. I had Pot Roast with loaded potatoes, taste like precooked roast then packaged. Floor in ladies restroom was wet, I was slipping, and walk with a cane.

I hate to say it, but the food was terrible. I had meatloaf and mashed potatoes and didn't even eat them. My mom had turkey and dressing, sweet potato casserole and green beans. She said only the turkey was okay and the rest not good. We usually will eat just about anything, but I only took one bite of each and did NOT eat anymore. Not sure what the problem is, but we won't be returning anytime soon.

Maybe it was an off day, but we went in for breakfast and it took an hour and a half to get our food. The waitress didn’t take our order for 45 minutes. We did get drinks after about 20 minutes though. The restaurant was not busy at all- it was 7:30am. Some of the food came out wrong but we didn’t want to wait even longer getting it fixed. I got the steak and egg hashbrown thing- it was room temp. I couldn’t chew through the steak. Honestly it was just really bad food and a really bad experience. Probably won’t visit this Cracker Barrel again. **waitress was really nice but an older lady and she probably just needs extra help.

Hi I place a go order on the phone. 3 orders I explained that 2 order was going to be paid separately. When I arrived the cashier rang everything together. Then I had to for the manager come & void the Transaction. Then the cashier still couldn't get the order right. Finally everything was fixed thanks to the other cashier knew how handle the situation. I visit Crackbarrel regularly. I love shopping experience. U definitely have a great Team of Manager & Employees. Every time I order delivery from Beaumont with uber eats. As you can see in the photos the trays are not full with food and this time some liquid from the chicken and dumplings is in one of them. The other has some liquid. And the other dry. There have also been times drinks were missing or wrong drinks. I'm just sharing my experiences so maybe it can be helpful in some way.

Tortillas were amazing. Serving chips with salsa and beans is a nice touch. Serving sizes on Fajitas was smaller than expected for the price, but the flavor was delicious. Crispy beef tacos were excellent as well.

This is now the second time I've had an issue the last 2 times I gotten food from this establishment. First I went late during the week to order Chicken Flautas and they had only put cheese inside. Was able to get that resolved, wont make the mistake of going late. Now we go last night and eat inside. Food was great, our server was horrible & couldn't make any recommendations when asked. We ordered 2 Platinum Margaritas & a modelo rita. The menu price was 13.95 for the platinum margaritas & 12.95 + $1 for the Modelo rita. We get the bill & we weren't charged for Platinum margaritas but rather a margarita (11.95) with a Platinum add on for a large (5.50). We were told it was more for a large when the manager on duty came over after we expressed an issue with our waiter. She stated that prices for large aren't on the menu. We tried to explain that if there is only one price on the menu and there are 2 sizes both prices need to be on the menu especially when we all had the same size drinks including the modelo rita but that rang up as the price stated on the menu. What further proves my point is that all the drinks brought to the table were the same size but only one rang up with the price stated on the menu. Our other issue was that we didn't order a margarita but rather a Platinum margarita which should have rung up as such so now I believe that margaritas we were brought didn't contain the better tequila we wanted. This would be proven with the headaches we woke up with this morning. Very unhappy with the experience last night and will have to stop eating there. I don't recommend going unless you want to deal with poor service & problematic billing.

Lots of questions. Like, why no plate to build the fajitas and eat off of? I had to build and put uneaten tortillas in the "complimentary" chips. Which leads to the next question, Why send three 12 inch tortillas for that little dish of beef fajitas? Why was that little dish of beef $30? Technically it was beef, but bottom of the barrel beef for sure, which is probbaly why it was so much seasoning? Why did it take so long to order and the get my ticket at 20% capacity? These questions are for the owner of the establishment. Im just a soujorner just passing thru.

To our waitress thank you for making our time at Lupe Tortilla memorable. We arrived at LT to celebrate Father's day, was seated right away and our waitress was there within minutes. Big smile on her face and ready to serve. Juliana's badge said "I'm Listening" and listening she did. My husband is allergic to tomatoes, so she ensured he had no tomatoes of any kind, even brought us out some cilantro lime cream sauce for our chips. We both ordered similar things from the menu, so you would have had to listen closely to get the order right....she nailed it. My husband ordered the mixed sizzling chicken fajitas only, no pico de gallo, with guacamole, no sour cream, with refried beans. My order was a mixed half order of sizzling chicken and beef fajitas, with sour cream, pico de gallo, with sour cream and charro beans. Even the tortillas we ordered were different. She took the order correct and it was served correctly. We never once had to say oh that his, or ohh thats hers. I was so Super Impressed. She was attentive, professional, and very kind. To top things off when she brought the bill, she also handed my husband a happy father's day gift. The day was made bright because of Juliana. I hope she is rewarded for her spectacular service. I do have a few small critiques. The tables did not appear to be as clean as they could have been, and it would have been nice in addition to the cloth napkins to have a few paper napkins. However, the restaurant itself appeared clean, the silverware and plates were clean, and the restaurant smelled beautifully...not like seward which seems to be a problem here in Beaumont with some of the restaurants.

Food is fresh most often. The onions on cheese enchiladas are always a shock factor especially when they aren’t listed on the menu. The taco salad with chicken fajita is the single best thing on the menu. The lettuce is cold and crisp and the chicken is chargrilled perfectly. Add salsa to your salad as a dressing and you will not be disappointed.

This s my weekly spot. Meaning that I go every week and always get fajitas for two and drinks. I would like to Lupe’s management team know that you guys have a great team working for y'all. Bartenders are the great bartenders around this area. Quality food and best atmosphere for those who go often to drink and eat out .. I thank you all for the great service and food and for those that complain just consider how often they go to Lupe’s. I’m sure those don’t even neighbors of the neighborhood and that’s why they like to complain. Lupe’s is a great spot!!!! 100% 5 ⭐️

I had my Dad’s 50th birthday party here and we had an amazing time. The staff and the food were incredible. They had a section for just our family and even got us another table when more people than expected showed up. I appreciate everyone at Elena’s so much, thank you for allowing us to celebrate here.

We went for lunch and found the parking lot was packed!! Stepped in to a very busy restaurant but were greeted and seated immediately. The person that seated us took our drink order, left menus and was back before we had a good chance to read the entire menu. In the meantime, another lady dropped off chips and salsa. We ordered the fajitas for two -on the menu it was $40 and the server said she would bring us the lunch portion and it would be plenty. It was HUGE and was $22 I think. We ate until our bellies were full and took home enough that we had fajitas for dinner that night as well…and STILL had food left! The food came out within 15 mins of us being in the building. The service was excellent and the food is some of the best Mexican food we’ve ever had. The flavor was amazing of the steak and the chicken and the beans/soup was out of this world good!! The margaritas were a bit sweet for my taste but nice and strong. I don’t think I’ve had food IN Mexico this good! We will absolutely be back!! EVERY restaurant in the country needs to be trained by this management!! The speed for a lunch time rush was impressive and the food was top notch! We did see that they will be closed I think on Monday due to a death in the family. Our thoughts and prayers are with them all.

Very friendly and willing to please. Clean and the lighting was just right and there was a good ambiance, yes the atmosphere was nice. The food was authentic, it tasted good and the servings were bountiful. This was my first visit, I was impressed and satisfied. I love me some good BBQ. I look forward to finding places like this. Generally speaking, I’ve found a lot of BBQ gems. This was ok, but not a gem I’d specifically steer people to. The BBQ meat was pretty good, but the BBQ sauce was very runny and lacked sufficient flavor. The cheesy potato side was decent, but didn’t really have “extras” in it, like seasonings or a little sour cream or something to give it a flavor you want to order again. Just tasted like potatoes with melted cheese, which is something easily done at home, and nothing that stands out. For the prices charged, it was a pretty run down place. Worn out card tables to sit at, with mismatched folding chairs. Now, let me say, some of the best places I’ve found, are holes in the wall with a run down atmosphere. I’m not complaining about the atmosphere, but rather educating you on what you’ll find. Staff was friendly and nice, but they didn’t seem too ambitious. It took a while to find a table clean enough for us to finish wiping down ourselves, yet there were a handful of employees and very few customers. No one took the initiative to try and keep open tables cleaned up for new customers, and it appeared they were staffed well enough to take care of this, if they chose to. The bathrooms were down right disgusting. I’d compare them to ones you may find in a small low budget scary gas station. Water all over the floor from leaks, or pipes sweating, toilets looked like they hadn’t been cleaned since before I was born, junk store in and around them in the hall. I would highly recommend if you plan to try this place, to ensure your restroom needs are taken care of prior. We were passing through, so needed the pit stop as well as food. You may very well find a better experience than us, as we wouldn’t have gone here if we thought it would be less than adequate. But, we were certainly not impressed, and in multiple areas. If passing through again, I highly doubt we’d give it another try, unless a local told us this place had been turned around. There are way too many good places out there to risk another experience here like the one we had. It’s a bummer. We take long trips, and I have probably 10-15 places reviewed prior to this, and all with a higher review.

We probably came at a bad time, however this was absolutely the worst BBQ we have ever had. The ribs were old! The flavor wasn’t even there. I couldn’t BELIVE that BBQ could get this bad! The sauce is super thin and very acidic. I don’t think this is even good to be called a decent eating place! The person behind the counter was nice and customer service was good.

By far the best bbq in Beaumont! We ordered the meat explosion which was smoked turkey, sausage, brisket, and pork loin. It came with Chipotle bbq sauce, jalapeño mustard sauce, blanco queso, and a spicy mayo. It was all delicious however the pork loin was kind of dry. The smoked turkey was awesome! We also ordered a half rack of ribs. They were cooked perfectly! Dont forget to try the potato salad. It is amazing!!! So delicious. Coming back for sure!

I like this place. They have a pretty cool alternate menu outside of the traditional stuff which I’ve liked every time. The picture is the tater sunrise, but everything on this menu is good. The service is always really fast and the staff takes the extra steps to make sure they make your order right. I really like Boomtown! Give it a try.

Great BBQ spot in Beaumont. Ribs had a nice rub on them and they were tender, good flavor. Brisket had a good smoke ring but was a tad too dry for me. Slaw was a good side item. Their BBQ sauce is tasty...thin with a heavy vinegar kick.

I've been in the Beaumont area all week and I've DoorDashed a bunch of different places. The sliced brisket sandwich I just ordered is BY FAR the best food I've had all week! The amount of brisket you get on an $11 sandwich is a steal in my eyes! I'll definitely be ordering this place again before I leave!

I was pleasantly surprised. Not the BEST BBQ I've ever had but it is definitely not bad at all. All the meat was moist and the green beans had brisket in them which was a nice difference.

So we’ve been there many times and decided to go there again for dinner date. I decided to order something I haven’t ate there, which was Unajyu. But what came out was not a Unajyu that I’m used to… I know my Japanese food because I’m Japanese and this was a bit disappointment. The waiter told us that the restaurant is owned by Japanese and the manager there is Japanese, which I know from the fact it’s not true… The REAL Japanese owners will not allow this as a dish😂 My husband hibachi ribeye looked good, so is combination tempura. So I give them 4 stars.

Not even a handful of chicken on my chicken fried rice takeout order. Don’t waste your money if you’re ordering takeout.

The food is delicious, but unfortunately there were flies around while we were eating. Also, the plates were not clean before use, which made the experience less enjoyable.

I got the ribeye with the veggies and shrimp. Shrimp was already gone by the time I took this photo lol. Food was great!!!!! Great show atmosphere for the kids and the whole family. Chefs Robert and Pedro are really cool and make the whole experience entertaining!!!!! Can’t wait to go back again!!!!!

Best hibachi within 100 miles you can’t find Japanese food better than here!!

Nice staff and decent atmosphere here but I have no idea how this place has almost a five star rating. Disclaimer: I ordered hibachi but sat at a normal table. Food was AWFUL and came out way too fast to actually have been cooked on the hibachi. I ordered ribeye hibachi, which was cheap, flavorless meat. It was cut into huge pieces (see picture) and dumped onto a plate where it sat in an inch of liquid from the zucchini and onions forming an unappetizing grey mass. Fried rice was tasteless, onion soup was the same. Ordered a Q&A sushi roll which looked decent but was not flavorful, all I could taste was a cold lump of cream cheese that may have been in the fridge too long. All in all, whoever is preparing the food is definitely phoning it in, this place isn't worth your time.

Better than I expected. Having sushi in Japan and Korea, and NYC, SF, Vancouver, etc. I appreciate great sushi. This was as good as I could expect so far from the source. Salmon (sake) and eel (unagi) were quite good. Tuna, yellowfin, octopus, squid, spicy tuna roll and crab hand roll were all fine. Generous portions and excellent service. I would return if I am ever back in town. Happy hour prices are unbeatable.

Very nice and clean. Great service. We ordered calamari, chicken fettuccine Alfredo and seafood combo. Salads were fresh and crisp, calamari was cooked to near perfection, Alfredo sauce was good. Tiramasu was smooth and flavorful.

The portions were very good size.. the salad dressing was a little to acidic for me. But the main dish was really good.

Even though the place was super packed but the staff were so nice and great also the food was really delicious. The atmosphere is very nice. We enjoyed our dinner there!

Wow...passing through while traveling and we love to try different pizza places, I wish I had never found Bruno because it is sooo good and I live about 800 miles away. The pizza has a perfectly toasted crust with a soft center and the sauce is full of flavor that compliments the generous melted cheese and toppings beautifully! The staff was super prompt and friendly and the price was great!

The salad dressing was ranch and made fresh! I've always preferred more romaine lettuce than iceberg but it was still pleasant. Our server was young yet very polite and attentive. ( cut your bangs or pin them ) Everything else was great and met my expectations. Thank you

I arrived to brunos with my family and we were immediately sat, however the waiter who brought our bread and took our drink orders (after quite some time) acted as if he couldn’t be bothered with us. Afterwards we watched countless waitstaff pass by our table several times without acknowledgment (this lasted about 20 minutes) while the tables around us got their food orders taken immediately after their drinks hit the table. Finally a waitress (who passed us a total of 5 times) approached us apologizing for not coming sooner because she spread out between two large parties. Understandable, however she passed our table too many times to have not said anything throughout that time. We placed our appetizer orders but still felt uneasy and uncomfortable finishing our meal at this establishment. Once the appetizers arrived we decided to get our ticket and leave. Needless to say my family will not be returning to Bruno’s. Hopefully the staff learns to treat all patrons the same.

Awesome place! Got a hot mocha coffee and breakfast sandwich this morning. Quick service and everything tasted great. Very comfortable tables and chairs. Even some seats outside. They serve more than breakfast. Go check it out!

I came in from out of town yesterday to visit my daughter, and just happened upon this place. I'm so glad I did. I ordered the Mexican Mocha, and it was delicious. We came back again today. They have a great menu including seasonal drinks, and the service was good. Definitely found my new coffee place when we're here.

I ordered a ham, egg, and cheese bagel. It was very good. I also ordered a cheese Danish. It was also good. But I won't get another one. It was too much to eat. The mocha latte with oat milk was good. The staff was very nice and helpful. I did have a few questions. The guy behind the counter was patient with me.

Good coffee and a solid ham deli sandwich. One of my favorite spots for working on a laptop. Noise level is medium-to-quiet depending on the time of day. Only drawback is the limited number of outlets.

I’m almost always here studying and they have really great staff and amazing food and don’t get me started for the coffee it’s better than major coffee chains and is so good! I’ll come here for a coffee and not even study just to pass by and get coffee. The sandwiches specifically “grilled pizza panini” is amazing I would definitely recommend!

I meet with some gals from church every other Friday. Great service. Great hot chocolate. And I hear the coffee is great, too! They also have breakfast foods as we meet in the morning.

Flavors are good, but the pricing didn’t jive with the quality/ portion. $27 with tip for Mongolian (beef/ chicken/ shrimp) wonton soup and egg roll. The meat was definitely skimpy. And just my preference, but the meat wasn’t “crisp”. Just the same texture of any other basic Chinese restaurant. Service was friendly and attentive.

I was a little nervous when the restaurant was empty when I entered at 6PM on a Sunday. Restaurant's Very nice and staff Very friendly. Egg drop soup was very yolk colored but tasty. The pan fried dumplings are unrivaled. Very tasty. Highly recommend.

The total experience at Jo Jo's is the most important value. They are consistently quick to serve, anticipate requests, and offer great food at great price. ( sounds trite but truthfully so) I've been here many times.

I originally ordered my food to go, but since I had been traveling about an hour and a half, I decided to eat there when I arrived. I even told them to just leave everything in the to-go containers. After I paid, Morgan told me, “Normally if you order to go, you have to take it to go, but I’ll let you do it this one time,” which came across as rude and unnecessary. The restaurant was not busy—only one other person was dining—so I don’t understand the issue. This will be my last time eating here. A little kindness and good customer service go a long way. The food was just okay!

This establishment is NOT welcome to people of color. As soon as I walked in I was not greeted warmly nor did I feel like my presence was wanted or welcomed. I have ordered take out from this restaurant before and the food is good. Had I came in to eat first and experienced how my kind is unwelcome they’d of never gotten a dollar from me. I have never been greeted so rudely anywhere as I was here. I highly recommend the hole in the wall on calder. Best Top Shelf Margaritas in town! Customer service is always top tier! Every time you walk through the door, it feels like you’re being greeted by a friend you haven’t seen in a while. My husband and I come here for date nights as often as we can.

Best Mexican food in the area. This is not a “chain”. Serving sizes are substantial and reasonably priced! Frozen margaritas aren’t too sweet! Guacamole is fresh, flavorful, and a decent serving size! Best I’ve had in many years. Birria plate is excellent! The birria isn’t too greasy. Substantial portion! Street tacos (I’ve tried their barbacoa and al pastor pork) are great and you get 3 loaded with plenty of meat and toppings. Their crispy tacos are reasonably priced, well topped, and the taco shell appears to be all handmade and tastes fresh! Highly recommend! Now are ONLY Mexican food in the area!

First timer here. As we got there, we were greeted by the host as well as a waiter walking by (could be a manager). We got there around noon for lunch and half the tables were occupied and when we sat down and ordered, more people came and filled up the tables. We were brought some chips and salsa before we began to order. The salsa was perfect, maybe needed a little more cilantro for my taste buds. We were given more salsa than any other restaurant so we didn't need to keep asking for more. Waitress came and took our drink order as we looked over the menu. We all decided on tacos except my son who ordered the Coconut Shrimp. My husband and I ordered the fish taco, my parents ordered the Street Tacos (beef) and my other son ordered a kid's Taco. Food came pretty quick. Everything was great. My fish Taco was good, I asked for Flour instead of corn tortillas but as soon as it got to us, the waitress noticed the mistake but we told her it's okay, we will eat it anyway but she still brought us extra flour tortillas. I've had better but it was still good. My parents liked their beef taco but also said they've had better but still good enough to come back. My son loved his coconut shrimp and said it's a repeat for next time. Overall, everything was great. The staff was very friendly and the food was good. Next time, I would like to try other things on their menu. For a party of six, it was about $60 which isn't bad at all.

1st visit. Ordered enchiladas and the fried tilapia. Very authentic and fresh.

Our first time coming here and it was Sunday lunch, tables are quickly filled up. We ordered taco potato as appetizer, enchiladas and fried fish with cilantro rice. The food came quiet fast and taste is delicious. The service is also nice. We will come back to try different foods on their menu.

Just had a fairly large party celebrating two high school graduates. Service was truly exceptional, they went out of the way to make us feel welcome and celebrated. With this large of a party some missteps in the food order are inevitable but they made everything right. And the food was absolutely scrumptious. Best fajitas I've ever had! My daughter-in-law said the same for her chicken. We highly recommend it!

Me and my wife both ordered the Philly cheesesteak hers had onions and mine had mushrooms. Plus we had fries and soda and this was a great lunch since we were traveling to New Orleans, Louisiana. Definitely if we come by here again we will get the same thing.

Chuck's Sandwich Shop is a beloved, quaint spot for sandwiches and burgers in downtown Beaumont, Texas. I'd heard friends rave about it for a while, and it finally lived up to the hype when I joined them for lunch. Every single thing I've tried has been absolutely on point and incredibly delicious—a sentiment my friends wholeheartedly echoed.. Chuck's, Miss Debbie, Chris, and the team make it a great place. My favorite is the Mushroom Swiss cheeseburger, ATW with jalapeños, on the best-tasting jalapeño bun, which gives it the best flavor, in my humble opinion! I hope you can make it there one day between 10:00 and 2:00 because it would be truly worth it!

Wonderful little sandwich shop. The people running the place were super friendly and the other patrons were super friendly as well. I had the Ruben and my coworker got the baked potato with meat, cheese and fresh jalapeños. He said he orders this every time and absolutely inhaled it. Great prices as well.

Ordered a Philly cheese steak sandwich, was yummy. Hubby ordered a Reuben sandwich which was different than anything I have ever tasted, but it was good, too. The place was pretty much spotless and the cashier was very helpful and friendly. It's a cozy place for a relaxed meal. It's not cheap, I saw it had only one dollar sign to describe price...it's more like 2 dollar signs...not complaining, just making an observation. I added a personal bag of chips and a diet Dr pepper to my $8.56 sandwich for $4.89. we didn't realize until after we paid 😄... We weren't penny pinching, cuz don't go out to eat if you can't afford it, but again, just letting folks know what to expect. We will go again and I recommend this restaurant to any foodie.

This was the absolute best and cleanest location I’ve ever been to! Customer service was outstanding and very welcoming too! Pizza was very delicious and more kept being served. I didn’t catch this employee’s name but she was very kind and asked if everything was okay and if I needed something while I was getting my pizza. The manager was very nice too and welcoming!

Always love going here! Staff was friendly and prompt with welcoming us in. Buffet was constantly being rotated and refilled. Kids love the arcade now that you can earn tickets for prizes!

Cicis can always be depended on for a good inexpensive meal. Salad soup pasta and pizza for $10 or so. Can't beat that. And it's all you can eat!

Pizza was alright. Not too much variety like before. We asked for mild Buffalo Wings and they didn't have any flavor. They were cooked well, it was just the sauce that was not good. The salad was good and had a clean area. A variety of options. My husband and kids like the desserts offered. They have an arcade with redeemable tickets now. So that was fun. Workers are engaging as always.

Great place for the kids to run around and eat all the pizza they want. The table stay clean and wiped down. Now the bathrooms always seems to need some major attention. Food is great but the bathrooms needs to be better kept.

So glad we chose MX Sushi today for lunch! It was delicious! The owner, Macy, was very helpful in helping us decide what to order. The appetizer Miss Jalepeno is a must try!! Also, the Strawberry Lemonade is SO good!

UPDATE: Went from 5 stars to 2 stars because they had yet another price hike. I shouldn't have to pay $15+ for a black dragon roll that isn't that big. I used to pay $11.99 for it. I'll be surprised if they continue to stay in business with these prices. It's a new economy with a new preaident, get with the changes or get left behind. OLD REVIEW: Best sushi for the best price, literally, it can't be beat. I've been eating sushi from here to all the way on the East Coast and the states in between and let me tell you, this place is delicious. The size/portions as well as the quality are exceptional, the cashier who tends to be there everytime I've been is really nice and will customize your order for you if there's something in a sushi roll that you don't care for. But besides sushi, the fried rice here is the absolute only place to get rice here in the food court, it's delicious and not dry like the others around it.

I’ve always really enjoyed grabbing food here, but over the past few times the portions just keep getting smaller and prices are increasing so it’s really disappointing so it’s sad to say I will probably find somewhere else to go.

Food is delish I won’t deny that. I sat on the phone for 16 minutes waiting to place an order only to get hung up on. I tried to call back and call was declined my mother calls and they answer and took order with an attitude. Came in to pick it up and had one customer in line very disappointed.

This isn't your typical Sushi Bar in the mall. Everything that I've had from here has always been fresh and exceeded my expectations. Now I just know that whatever I get I'm going to be happy. I honestly can't say that about a lot of restaurants, especially when ordering sushi. Seriously though, MX Sushi is a place that I keep coming back to time and time again. Keep it up guys! You rock!

The majority of the time this place is bomb 💣 and today was not exception!!! The service is always top notch!!! They have had a few setbacks and their sushi comes out looking like a child made it, but it was edible. I always come back. We have rated here for years and always only sushi, so I am unsure about other dishes they have.

Best noodles in SETX!! Got the Beef & Shrimp Teriyaki Hibachi over noodles - The proteins are so well cooked and flavorful! If you like heat, ask for XXX Spicy! My new favorite is the Miss Jalapeno (appetizer) - Shrimp, crab, cream cheese stuffed jalapeno that is tempura battered and fried... covered in their amazing eel sauce and spicy mayo. HOLY COW. So flipping good! Huge portions and good prices!

Nice place to get something fresh to eat. Stopped in here while traveling I like that there were options for food that were not too greasy or fried. I had the grilled shrimp tacos and grilled shrimp salad. A coworker had the carne asada nachos. It was good. I liked the brownies and rice krispies at the counter the most. Looks like a good spot to have a drink and the atmosphere was very chill.

A special shout out to Fuzzy's Taco Shop in Beaumont for the hook up tonight. I went in this morning and told him exactly what I was trying to do, and they delivered perfectly. 15 tacos: half shrimp half steak, half corn half flour, and they put everything on the side. Dear Management, I visited the Beaumont location for the first time on 8/29/2025 at 7:17 PM. My check number is #14 Host: Cashier 2 #30090. I ordered several items but my issue came when I told the employee that took my order that I wanted a (taco plate: 1 grilled shrimp, 1 steak on a flour tortilla, pinto beans and cilantro rice.) Don't know where the breakdown came from but I ended up getting 1 shrimp tempura taco instead of grilled. I brought the food back in and asked for the correct one, the girl standing outside of the kitchen asked me for the correct order and then she told the cooks. Well, I didn't want to wait any longer because we were in a hurry so I requested a refund. The guy with black glasses told me that he couldn't issue a refund because the manager wouldn't be in until Monday! Why weren't the employees trained to issue refunds for situations like this? Do you think the lack of knowledge or training in issuing refunds is suitable for the restaurant business? I asked him to just go ahead and re-make the order and this would be the THIRD time for me asking for 1 grilled shrimp taco and 1 steak, do you know the girl who was calling out order numbers for pickup handed me two grilled tacos and no steak even after she checked with me first? I'm going to have to report this business to the Better Business Bureau. This kind of mess is totally and utterly ridiculous, I know people make mistakes but how the hell did you get it wrong TWICE, and with me sitting in the restaurant looking at you? This location has the most incoherent and incompetent staff I've ever seen. I was raised in Beaumont and I've NEVER eaten out here and I see why! I just can't understand for the life of me why my order was so complex to fix! Or why was it rocket science? It was just 2 tacos! They treated it like I ordered lunch for a whole high school football team! The level of stupidity is literally ridiculous and I'd like to request a FULL refund for what I paid. I will never visit nor will I accompany anyone else that wants to try or eat there. You have to do better! Small issues like this can cause bigger problems in the future and those issues can lead to BANKRUPTCY. I'd like to know who owns the restaurant so I can further discuss how the staff needs to be trained properly to listen to customers that walk through the door.

Clean, friendly service and fresh food. We enjoyed the shredded chicken nachos with a side of fresh guacamole. Very flavorful and delicious.

I love that fuzzy's has a semi full bar now!!! They have drink specials for every day of the week they have 3 dollar margaritas on Monday! I love the grilled shrimp tacos thier shredded chicken salad is tasty too! The prices here are also very cheap its a great casual place to come to.

Ordered a shredded chicken salad last night, couldn’t finish the entire thing because it was filled with “salad juice” and soggy lettuce halfway through. The flavor was there from what I did eat. I literally had to pour the “juice” down the sink, I’m pregnant so after that I no longer wanted it.

Amazing tempura fish tacos, do not be afraid of the habanero taco sauce. Its Sweet Smokey tang is more bark than bite. !! Try the NEW Baja Fish Taco !! The grilled cod is on point!

I had very high hopes for this place. I walked up and the smell was fantastic! You walk in and it’s got the old smoke house feel. The pits are in sight and a simple meet filled menu. However, the food was not for me. The best part was their bbq sauce. The beef was like a soup and the link was a soft boudin but not near as good. The rice and beans were very greasy… but that could have been from the beef stew spreading. Unfortunately I would only come back for the sauce then go elsewhere.

I was really satisfied with my 2 meat plate with mac & cheese, beans and rice. I like meat.

Came here for lunch and the service was really friendly and fast but the food itself was pretty mid (especially the lean brisket and chewy ribs.) The BBQ sauce is OK and pretty smokey/heavily peppered. $33 for 2 people.

Such a cool place! A BBQ place established in 1912 with so much charm. The owner greeted us at the door and his brother gave us the history of the restaurant. The portions were large so make sure you’re hungry! And the sweet tea- oh my goodness! It’s just the kind of place you’d hope to run into on a road trip.

Patillo’s is an amazing spot. The Beaumont style sausage links were a heavenly treat. The jambalaya was rich and flavor. Tender ribs and great potato salad. Definitely a whole different vibe with East Texas BBQ

I have been eating this BBQ for 45 years and Love it. This BBQ is a South East Texas Cajun style. You eat it for what it is and you don't necessarily compare it to what you think it should be. Look at it as though your adding a new taste to your BBQ palette :)! It's unique in that the heavy oak smoked beef is cut very thin and topped with a wonderful light non sweet gravy sauce with hints of chili powder. The links are a Cajun style "Soft link" which is a regional favorite. The links are eaten like Boudain in which you pull the filling. All meats including beef, ribs, chicken and ham will have the heavy smoke and are best eaten with the sauce. The smoked Bourdain is good too! The sides are dirty rice, beens and potato salad. You put this all together at a reasonable price and served by good people in an friendly historic atmosphere and it's great:)!!!

The bathroom was disgusting I attempted to make a phone order from miles away , it could not be done. Upon entering the restaurant there were three employees at a dining table I seated myself and I got up to get my own menu ,my pork chops Tasted a little different I will not be going back!

Food was decent, the cook was really cool his cheese n grits were bomb. The place needs a face lift. I had the hash brown bowl covered and smothered with bacon and sausage.

I ordered four pecan waffles on a rainy night because I'd been thinking of them all day. They messed up my order. No need to relive my disappointment. The next day I talked to the manager and she made my order right. They were just as delicious as I remembered.

Food was good but the service was terrible. Homeless guys sleeping around the front door and another is pacing the sidewalk yelling at himself. I won't be back.

5 stars for service. I've always liked the All Star breakfast, but it has always been too much for me to eat, so I ate on it for two days. The lady that actually served me didn't seem like she was having the best day, but she was nice. The manager and cook were sweet. Even though it was takeout and it was only for me I left her a $5 tip because I hoped that it would help brighten her day a little. You never know what someone is going through.

It was a cold day. Service was good. The employees were giving good service with smiles. The restaurant was clean. The restroom also. Food was looking good and tasted good also. Only one complaint...there was no option for hot cocoa. I was told that cocoa is no longer an item on the menu. I really had my taste buds ready for hot cocoa. Please put it back on the menu.!!

Very busy; they seemed to be understaffed, so that there was a long wait for food, and at least one item was left off and we had to ask for it. Cancelled my coffee for the same reason; by the time I realized I wasn't going to get it and was able to get wait staff's attention, I was mostly done with my food. Waitress was nice and food was good though....just don't eat at Waffle House when it's busy.

Absolutely unacceptable service from Chick-fil-A! We ordered through DoorDash and they forgot our Sunjoy. Simple mistake? Sure. But what followed was just outrageous. I called to let them know, and the manager on the line admitted it was their mistake. Instead of offering to make things right, he demanded that we go to the branch and pick it up ourselves. Excuse me? We ordered delivery for a reason. Their error, and we’re the ones who have to suffer for it? And to make it worse, the manager was extremely rude—bossy, dismissive, and unprofessional. He literally told me “it’s not his problem anymore.” I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. No apology, no empathy—just attitude. Chick-fil-A is known for good service, but this manager is the complete opposite. He should NOT be in that position. He doesn’t care about customers at all and clearly doesn’t understand accountability. If this is how they treat people after they mess up, I’m done. DO BETTER.

Anytime I go here, I ALWAYS get my food quick! It doesn’t matter how many cars are in the drive thru or how many people are in the restaurant! The service is always nice! Specifically Patrick, he was very sweet and helped us when our order was messed up (which never happens)! My favorite chic fil a to go to for breakfast, lunch, and dinner!

I’m leaving this review to specifically shoutout Edgar and K’Den my 2 yr old son had an accident (potty training) By the time I came from the restroom changing him they were already finishing up cleaning it. They were so sweet and respectful. I seriously can not thank these 2 guys enough 🤎

Oh, Chick-fil-A, how I love thee! The food is fantastic! The staff is genuinely happy to see you. They have a super-efficient drive-thru if you need it. This was my first visit to this particular location. All those things you come to expect from Chick-fil-A were true here as well: the food, the people, the efficiency. Our food was actually ready before we left the register, so the person who was tasked with bringing it to our table met us at the register. I was trying to use my Chick-fil-A app for the first time, so I took a little longer than I should have leaving the register. I couldn't get my app to pay for my order even though I had linked it to my debit card. The girl who waited on me wasn't sure why it wasn't working either. Finally, a manager asked me if I added funds to my account. Huh? No. I hadn't. I didn't realize it didn't come out of my bank account. So, next time I'll know to add funds before I go. Since we don't have a Chick-fil-A yet in Buffalo, I don't want to leave a bunch of money just sitting there. My husband and I were talking, enjoying our meal, when a Chick-fil-A worker came by to check on us. We told her we were doing great and the food was perfect. Then she got really chatty with us. I mean, over-the-top chatty. She began asking personal questions about our work and where we live, and then she started telling us about her college major, her mom, her mom's job, her dad, her dad's job, etc. I left there knowing a lot about this girl. I think it's great that workers stop by to check on you, but when it gets to the point that you can't have a conversation with your table mates because the worker is dominating the conversation, it's a bit much. If I lived in Beaumont, I'd be searching out a different location in case this girl were working again, or I'd hit the drive-thru instead of dining in. But since I'm just here for a short time, I won't let that stop me from a delicious chicken sandwich and those unbeatable waffle fries.

Great place, they still have a play place unlike most Houston locations. The people I have seen coming in are getting really disrespectful when it comes to language. The staff is always helpful and bathrooms are always clean!

How hard is it to put an Avocado Lime dressing in my bag? I can tell you that I was charged for it, but it was non-existent in my bag, but there were 2 Honey BarBQ 's .. not impressed.

So I just left this RC on Dowlen Rd in Beaumont Tx. I placed my order in the drive thru with one car in front of me an none behind me. When I pulled up the two guys were making sure my order was right. It was 2 box combos 2 extra sauce 1 extra garlic toast. Well they checked it over about 3x while I sat in drive thru. I finally told him to get a manager to help him out. SHE finally came over there. She didn't ask me anything but through the cracked drive thru window that was open about 1/8 of the way opened I was TELLING HER that she should pay more attention to what was going on in her restaurant and come help them out sooner. She just ignored me. She wasn't really doing anything before the incident that I noticed. So I still needed my card scanned, to pay and get my drinks while they figure out the order. So through the cracked windows Asked the cashier could he go ahead and do all of that while I waited even longer. SHE not the cashier scanned my card and took my money. I asked the cashier for my drinks BC I still haven't even got them yet. HE gave them to me and I told him that it wasn't his fault about situation that it was the manager and not to be scared to ask for help faster next time or be intimidated by her BC she's a manager. She told him not to say anything to me. So they finally got it figured out and SHE handed me the order and closed the window back to where is was still cracked. She still never said a word to me UNTIL I said excuse me mame you could at least apologize. She said she would not and wasn't BC of how or what I was saying to her through the cracked window. I wanted her to hear everything I was saying so yeah I had to SPEAK UP so she could hear me. She didnt like that I told her she should help them out faster and SHE must have gotten offended over i or that I was loud through the cracked window.. Im sorry. Maybe SHE should not be a manager period. Thats part of the mangers job is to deal with the good and bad.I asked for her name she refused no one had name tags on SHE said "NO EMPLOYEES have to wear name tags." The irony about that is the cashier's name is on the receipt. Is the cashier the only one accoutable at RCanes BC their name is on the receipt.? Why isnt the mangers? Or at least the manager have one on. I guess She thinks she won't be held accountable if someone complains SHE who is THE NO NAME MANAGER. I told her I was gonna call corporate and do a review and drove off. SHE didn't seemed bothered. BY this time there were literally ten+ cars in line.

Cane's almost always tastes really good! The service is usually also good. The size of the tenders seem to have gotten smaller over the years but otherwise, this is a great place for fast food.

Food is always good, but they need to chill out on the ice. This is a LARGE and look at how full of ice this is. I literally had as much drink as a kids with no ice (maybe even less). This amount of ice is just childish lmao

Fast service & food was good but I had our food all gathered up on the table to take home & the pile of trash at the edge. Went to the bathroom & when me and my daughter got back to the table it was all trashed & we had quite a bit of food left I was taking…. I know the lady was constantly around cleaning BUT damn, that’s the first time that’s ever happened to me. But we won’t be back.

I prefer the location on College. Food is good and hot at this location but the strips could be fried longer. I always receive the meat tough. The main issue is the sweet tea. It shouldn't even be called that. I am a fan of Arnold Palmer and that tea kills my drink with the mixture of the watery lemonade. The location on College Street just satisfies me better.

Cashier accidentally rang up our door dash order and missed a whole combo! We had to return and had them make the food fresh for the customer cuz the other box would’ve been cold with having to return inconveniently.. and instead of offering us the box for our inconveniences on their end she just threw it in the trash! If I was a manager I would’ve offered the door dasher the food for their mess up instead of just throwing away perfectly good food smh do better!

Love the fried fish with two sides. It's made to order and is crispy. The service is always good. The young man working the drive thru is very polite. Don't forget to add you a tea for 92 cents. I think 92 cents. They have some of the best tea around. You can also buy it by the gallon. Great for holidays or a hot summer day.

The manager Ryan is absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond what was required to make sure I had the correct order and enjoyed my food. The food tasted amazing also.

The food was cooked in old oil. The fish was tasteless and chicken was over cooked and hard. The chicken was full of brown oil and I couldn't even eat half.

Hadn't eaten Papa John's very much since moving from Mid County. Use to be my favorite pizza and decided to give it a try while at work in Beaumont. It's been a few years since I've had it and let's just say I was really disappointed. It started with the fact I was charged almost $13.00 for a small pizza. I accepted it cause of the memories of how good it was and figured it had to be a good size small., boy was i yet again disappointed. It was basically the same size as one of those poor people pizzas I get at Walmart in the little small cardboard boxes for like $1.59, except even those are better. The crust was so bland and just such a let down. Maybe the memory is always better than the actual thing idk , but for the price and quality I'll go with someone else next time. Had dream they would build a Papa John's near me but guess I'm over that dream now. Let me add though the young man that made my pizza and such was great. Really polite and pleasant to deal with..so at least customer service was on point.. excuse my dirty paws I was at work..

This is one of the nastiest places I e ever bought food from. The pizza wasn’t fresh at all plus they gave extra toppings that wasn’t ordered. DO NOT EAT HERE!!

If ur in a low car, prepare to bottom out entering the parking lot. Pizzas show they are ready to pick up 15 to 20 minutes before they are ready, and I was told it was an accident the first time, this is the second time with the same issue. Food is mediocre, similar concerns to the reviews below. This location needs another employee shakeup, the quality is weirdly much better at the other three PJ'S I've been to lately.

I'm not sure of the previous manager, but the one presently working is amazing and very helpful. He went above and beyond and did more than just give me a pizza. He helped me with my car! My pizza was ready when I got there and the cashiers made it smooth quick and easy picking it up!!!

TERRIBLE DO NOT!! Ordered a large pizza pepperoni pizza at night and received a BURNTT inedible thin crust pizza that wasn’t even cut properly, highly disappointing.

Visiting area, was having Pizza delivered to our hotel 10 minutes. We ordered 3 medium pizzas, knots, a dessert, extra garlic sauces and a 2 liter. They were busy so it was going to be 1.5 hours, understandable. They use door dash to deliver, Leslie, the dash driver sends a text saying she handed me the pizza, SHE DID NOT!! called the number in the text and only could leave a voicemail, still 12 hours later no call back. Call Papa John's on Calder, manager says to wait 5-10 minutes for door dash then call back. 15 minutes later call Papa John's saying still no delivery, he says he's sending a Papa John's driver with our pizza. 30 minutes later we get only the pizzas. Door dash driver also got a 20% tip since you pay online!!!!! So we were out $83, minus the three pizzas, and two and half hours later.

My husband bought me some sweet and spicy wing’s yesterday and tell me why it looked like I had chicken that was made for a toddler. It looked like frog legs it was so small. The Fries were salty as hell and cold. Whatever you do don’t order there wings you’ll be disappointed.

I ordered 2 pork chops they gave me one pork chop and a piece of other one and said it’s two. When I call she said that’s how we do it I have gotten pork chops before from them and it was two not one and a half then they charged $12.94 for it. It’s not worth you going there if they going to cheat people

John's Seafood at 4th and Washington Tommy at the counter. Place was bopping and hopping. Quick to order; No. 63. Salt and pepper, 7 shrimp, 1 fish, Rice and salad. Hot food. Solid in quality and quantity. I dig it like it should be dug. =Peace=

Wasn't worth the hype for me, nothing special. The chicken wings needed more seasoning. The fried pork chop was really dry and flavorless. I think the only thing we enjoyed was the fried catfish but that didn't have much seasoning either. Service was friendly and good. They seemed pretty busy too.

Out of the last 6 trips, I received 5 cold orders of stuffed bagels... on the 6th trip, I requested that they "please" make sure that the bagels are warm. I ordered bacon, bagels, and coffee ☕️ . The window clerk was very kind. He said that he would tell them. When the bag was traveling to the window, there was spanish utterance and laughter about my bacon 🥓... I stopped a little past the window to check my bacon, and it was burned. Too dry for salad 🥗 crumbles even. Instead of addressing it, I decided to post a review. I purchased the meal for a homeless person who I know. Instead of receiving a customer's request as an insult, have enough maturity and pride to do your job. Don't assume that people don't speak Spanish because they aren't Mexican.

They didn't have the different donut flavors displayed anywhere (no tags, no menu, nothing on the screens). When I asked the person behind the counter, she just said annoyed "we don't have the flavors listed". I proceeded to ask then for what the flavors were and her response was "how many dozens do you want?". I explained I just wanted 2 or 3. She said "which ones do you want?". I had to ask once again "what are the flavors?". I left that place without ever knowing what the flavors were. I hope I never have a donut emergency, because otherwise I am never going back there.

Received horrible customer service while picking up an online order. My order included a dozen assorted donuts, however, my box only had 10 donuts. This included one which seemed to be bitten or damaged. I informed the employee of this hoping she would provide a resolution. However, the employee responded in a very rude, dismissive and unprofessional way. The employee argued that she would not exchange the damaged donut and that she was not aware nor responsable for the missing donuts. I requested several times for the exchange and this was denied by the employee arguing that receiving a new donut would require for me to pay for it. The employee got increasingly disrespectful and did not have the desire to provide at the very least decent customer service. I asked the employee for her name and she stated it was “kourtney”. However, I confirmed her name is Kaely.

Y'all need to stop playing. $2.79 + Tax for two bites?? Was it delicious? Yes. Does it belong on a Kid's Menu? Yes. My medium caramel frozen coffee however, was worth every penny of the $4.50 🙌 Dude at drive thru window didn't even smile or say thank you, just handed me my purchase and turned his back on me without a word. 💁🏼‍♀️ Customer Service doesn't have to be a thing of the past.

There are some employees with an attitude that make costumer service a night mare. The majority are good. The employees don’t understand that when a costumer pays for extra thinks on a drink, for instance, we expect to receive those extras in our drink. Thinks such as extra shoots of coffee, extra scoops of matcha, special milk, etc, have an extra value to our drink. It is expected to get them completely in our drink. They only give part of the drink and the rest is left on the container or the processor. They get so upset with us when we request to get the rest of the drink.

Love Dunkin donuts! You can get a cream filled donut for under $1.50, the service is always fast and friendly and the donuts are always fresh and delicious.

Listen I'm from Boston and I'm a True Believer that America runs on Dunkins. Now my wife is a psycho and only likes Starbucks. So when I'm with her we drink Starbucks so that I don't have to deal with the car argument. However, I'm telling you right now I always go to Dunkin's when I'm by myself. Dunkin's is in My DNA. Went there for lunch. Ordered 2 piece chinken and fries. Usually everything is fresh. This time for whatever reason nothing tasted fresh. Wasn't even hot. Almost like it was leftovers from the day before. Hopefully this was a one time thing.

I went i on 10/31/25 to place an order i told the cashier that the last time I was here they didn't give me a small gravy I explained i ordered two 20 piece nuggets and they only gave me 1 gravy so I would like an extra gravy at no cost, he said no ,because he said no he lost out on a 40 dollar order and will not go back because he wouldn't give me a 99 cent gravy. That is just selfish, they can keep there chicken .

Wow... Poor service with a side of attitude and to to it off they forgot the 6 rolls we ordered to go with the rest of our order. Good on the buffet was dried out and getting worse under the great lamps! NEVER stopping here again when we drive through this area.

First time at the place. The fryed chicken was very good. Not to oily but not dried out either. Tasted a lot like my mother's fried chicken. All the sides that I tried were really good also. I'll be back.

This location has some of the best chicken that I have eaten, just simply delicious. I went here because I just wanted chicken and like the other locations I didn't expect much but that may be why this place took me by surprise and they just killed it. Really was impressed with the cleanlines, quality of food, and the service here.

I purchased food before work. Went back because the order was wrong. The manager too the chicken and put in back in the warmer with the rest of the chicken. Refuse to give me a refund. Very rude after missing up my food. Wanted me to go back home and get the drink before I can get a full refund.

Sunday Ordered gizzards and livers mixed. Gizzards hard and liver was spoiled very bitter and green on the inside. I called to warn them from selling them and was told mgr wasn’t in but person was rude and hung up on me. It made me sick from the few I ate. I wasn’t even asking for a refund because I wasn’t driving back after being home. I simply wanted to warn them before making others sick from bad livers.

I'm homeless and they wouldn't honor loyalty rewards deal for two free donuts via in app offer. They were unfriendly, rude and repulsive at best. I had to call customer service after trying via the app and online to place the order. They wouldn't help. And they still wouldn't just HONOR THEIR OFFER. This is the second time they've been beyond ugly to me but I sorta expect nothing less from evil people. That's what they are. It's two donuts and YOUR OFFER. PRETTY SIMPLE. NO NEED TO BE SO PETTY. Common courtesy and basic human kindness is also free . Apparently y'all didn't realize that either.

I had inquired about the frappe flavors because there is one flavor in particular that I like I could just couldn’t remember the name of, But the lady at the drive-through only listed off four flavors and said that’s all they had. I was a little disappointed, but ordered a frappe anyway. The drink I ordered left my mouth full of gritty, coffee ground like stuff that wouldn’t dissolve. I came back to the drive-through, Hoping to make it right... But instead was Pretty much told oh well, that that’s what I ordered... Even went so far as to SHOW me the gritty substance That was used to make the drink. I left highly disappointed and threw away my five dollars. gross. What a bummer

I used to love coming here all the time and get my child ham and cheese Kolache but this time it had a sour smell to it and it looks expired. It is common sense that if it looks like this it is not good anymore. My child could've gotten sick or worse!

Service was excellent but I did have one day old donut - chocolate glaze and a not so good kolache. Not enough meat in the kolache and way too much bread. Other donuts and pastries were good. I’ll always visit when in Texas…

Why get anything else? The chocolate-filled is perfect. Rich, just sweet enough, and wrapped in flaky pastry. It’s not melty, just deeply satisfying. Every bite proves you made the right choice.

Went here to get some donuts today.For my family do not go to this location. We was missing a bag of donut holes they wanted to check my bag because they think we were lying about missing donuts holes. They yelled at us very unprofessional I had a receipt we didnt even leave the parking lot when we discovered our missing donut holes. We will not be back and would suggest to go somewhere else for a better service. The quality of my kolache was not fresh it better to go to a mom and pop donut shop atlest they are nicer.

Ordered food and dessert to go. Handed us our ice creams long before our food was ready. It was awesome watching it melt while we waited. Had to put it in the car with the ac blasting. Heaven forbid they put it in the mini freezer behind the counter. None of the staff were wearing any type of hairnet. The cooks had hair to the small of their backs. At that point it's not even a food code issue. It's a safety issue, they are operating in areas with open flames. Her red hair looked nice, but it won't if it catches on fire. Place is not as good as it was, still better than some of the other DQs.

We ordered a #1 meal and a fish sandwich. They prepared the fish sandwich and had me pull around for the order. When we got our food the #1 neither were the French fries fresh after 10 minutes of waiting! Why the hell wasn't the WHOLE order fresh after that time?? I swear people these days are just simply stupid. How hard is it to exercise just regular common sense? I hadn't been to a Dairy Queen in ages and I won't be visiting again because now I remember why I didn't patronage them. This mess is despicable. You should take pride in your work and quit short changing people just because you CHOSE to accept a minimum wage paying job! I wouldn't give them any stars if that were an option more like the (middle) finger. So sad...

This Dairy Queen is probably one of the busier locations for the franchise. They consistently have a line at drive thru. They are fast to take your order and keep the line moving. That said though when waiting in drive thru yoy can smell the dumpster. It's dirty and stinks. It needs to be picked up and a cleaned one bought back. There also needs to be some pressure washing around that area by the dumpster and drive thru. It would be nice if yall built Three walls with a gate to keep that dumpster in so you didn't have to look at it overall DQ has great food but even BETTER DQ TREATS.

I tried the Chirro Dipped Cone. I didn't like it. It's too sweet for me. The cinnamon is overpowering. The service was good. I used the drive thru. The food at this location has always been good. 4/11/23 Had to get another dollar cone and of course it isTaco Tuesday! 3 for 5. HOWEVER please address the HORRIBLE odor at the drive thru. It truly smells so bad you cannot look at the menu with the window down.

Had the 5 piece spicy chicken strips and mashed potatoes and red beans and rice. They were out of dirty rice. The chicken was like jerky and very tough. Literally ate a couple of pieces, it was to hard. The mashed potatoes and red beans and rice were great. I usually love the biscuit bit ot was not flavorful at all. One of the worse Popeyes I've been too. The staff and service was great. The cook need to do better.

09/12/2024 This crew has finally convinced me to stay away from this location. The horrendous attitude of these people is unimaginable. The food they serve is just as awful. I can't believe the owners are reading these reviews. If they were, this location would have a new crew. Since they have taken action, it tells me a lot. I hope they don't expect to survive long because this food is dried out and slop is the best description.I went back twice over the same order, and still no food worth eating. SAD

I purchased a 18 piece family meal. They said it would take 40 minutes even though no one else was there. I said I would wait and he did not seem happy. My food came out in 20 minutes and it smelled like an ash tray. I thought maybe some seasoning was giving it that smell so I went home. When I opened it my entire house started to smell like old cigarettes. The boxes were wet and broken open. The chicken all smelled like old cigarettes. I took a bite to see if it was burned. It wasn't but it even tasted like old cigarettes. i can’t get that taste out of my mouth. I don't even know how that happens. I tried to call the store but the phone is off the hook.

Placed a online mobile order this evening and went to go pick it up only to find the whole location closed. They had a young man inside and I was just asking through the door glass why the building was closed. He said they where short staffed, I tried asking how can I go about receiving a refund for my mobile order , he just walked away to go talk to a man that was inside. He looked at me and turned away . This is so infuriating because I just wanted to know how to get a refund. Had I known the building was going to be closed I never would have gone through the trouble of placing the order. Clearly he lacked customer service skills. I then went ahead and tried calling another Popeyes to try and attempt to see if I could get help . The manager at the Eastex Location informed me that Popeyes was closed due to not paying their employees for 3 weeks. Such a shame for a buisness to do that to their employees but also as a paying customer I'm 100 percent upset and dissapointed in how the young man at the Washington Popeyes was rude and ignored me. I do not plan on spending my hard earned money at any Popeyes . After today's horrible experience I'd rather go to another establishment that will at least treat it's customers with respect. Do better Popeyes .

Had to try out this famous chicken. Broke my keto diet for this and let me say it was worth it. The store was busy but the store staff managed to give us the food in a timely manner.

Trashy place…1 employee working and they are out of fries, macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, and honey, also they have no change, so you either need exact change or a credit card. I won’t be back….ever!

They messed up my order, refused to make it right, and had an attitude about it. Hardly any sauce on the pizza and it was cold by the time they delivered it. I truly prefer the one on Phelan. They’re pizza is always good quality and they have great customer service.

Ordered and it was delivery everything was pretty fine but my chicken alfredo it wasn't even halfway full and it was dried out

Burnt pizza! Ordered two 7 toppings for 9.99 pizzas and toppings were lacking in so many ways and not as ordered. Pepperonis on a simple pepperoni pizza with extra cheese were thrown in one spot and not sorted evenly. AGAIN BOTH PIZZAS WERE BURNT!

We placed an order for curbside for a reason and our order was never brought out to us. We waited over 10 mins and no one ever came. When we walked in I asked the young man who was there and he yelled asking why wasn’t the order brought out and someone said we were obviously busy and then another walked up asking did I need help with bringing it to my car. This staff was unprofessional and I felt like I was being made fun of and I didn’t feel respected I would like a market or district manager to contact us immediately about this terrible and disrespectful service. I have never encountered an experienced like this. Poor staffing customer service.

The manager Dartaveion is very knowledgeable, helpful, efficient, and is very courteous. He is an amazing asset to the Company. Me and my entire family will be back. I also let my friends and everyone know 😀

Ordered a delivery on line said order was successful. After 30 minutes the tracker said the order was canceled and to call store for information. Held for 20 minutes and never got through to the store

Located next to Dillard's at Parkdale. Ordered online for carry out. The restaurant was super clean and very kind staff. Pizza was delicious and cooked perfectly!
