Restaurant
Destination Dogs is a laid-back eatery and bar that has gained fame for its gourmet hot dogs, which come in various global and regional styles. The menu features innovative creations such as the Lao Che Express with Cantonese sausage, pickled eggs, cucumbers, wasabi mayo, and sesame seeds, as well as the Trenton Thunder consisting of a deep-fried all-beef dog with pork roll, cheese sauce, tomato, and pepper jelly.
I can't begin to tell you how GREAT these hot dogs were. I had the Ny and Newark(kept it local🤣😅) cheese fries and lemonade. My friend tried the ALLIGATOR and deviled eggs. Omgggggggg the explosive flavor and BAAAAAAABY THE SNAP OF THE SKIN EACH BITE! Even the next day in the microwave, they came out the same. WORTH EVERY PENNY! This will be my new go to. Craving was definitely satisfied. 10 out of 10

We were greeted immediately and our waitress, Carey was attentive! Staff is very polite and nice. Carey always follow up and make sure we had everything we needed. The food is great and price is reasonable. Portion side is perfect. The hot dogs comes with a side of chips. They had happy hour on drinks during the weekday. Took the opportunity to get myself a house vodka drink. Pretty strong. Overall I would def come back with friends again. Nice time. Music is slightly loud but you can still hear the conversation in the table.
Garnet L — Google review
Come here often for amazing hot dogs. With the great prices, sometimes I’ll even order two! Happy hour is great for draft beers, and plenty of local brews. Any hot dogs can be made with their sweet potato dog, so infinite options for vegetarians! The Chicago Bull dog is my go-to. Been here many times and will keep coming back. Great service and atmosphere
Maryam M — Google review
Good hole in the wall type of bar! Food is different and I have to respect that! Some items were a bit over salted but otherwise really good and came out pretty quickly! I got the Rocky Bal Boar ah. And it was great! Onion rings were really good too! Chicken sandwich was good but nothing outstanding. Might need bacon or something! Service was quick and very friendly. Would definitely return!
Eric H — Google review
The Destination Dogs menu is so creative! We enjoyed everything we ate! 😋😋😋 1. Kansas City Beefs - all beef hotdog, pulled pork, scallions 2. The Waco Kid - all beef hotdog, chilli, cheese sauce, Fritos, pickled jalapeños, sour cream, scallions 3. Trenton Thunder - sausage patties, cheese sauce, pork roll, egg, Chipotle ketchup, round brioche bun 4. Conquistadog - chorizo, fried potatoes, Brava sauce, scallions 5. Hidden Dragon - Cantonese sausage, hoisin, cucumbers in chilli crisp, sesame seed, shredded scallions, cilantro 6. Sausage Flight Appetizer - Chorizo, Italian sausage, Bratwurst, Shrimp & Alligator sausage, and duck sausage, served with dipping sauces, toast, pickles.

Love this place. I make sure to visit anytime I’m in South Jersey. The dogs are great and they have gluten free buns. Cocktails were really strong, service was hospitable.
Ashley W — Google review
Stopped in while visiting the area and had a great time sitting at the bar. The menu is creative and fun, and everything we ordered was both well cooked and nicely presented. • Guten Dog (Germany) – Bratwurst with beer-braised onions, sauerkraut, spicy mustard, sour cream, dill, all on a pretzel bun. Classic and hearty. • Wayfinder (Motunui) – Deep-fried bacon-wrapped hot dog topped with teriyaki, grilled pineapple, honey mustard, sesame, and scallions. A playful combo with big flavor. • Build Your Own – Beef dog with chili, cheese sauce, and grilled onions. Comfort food done right. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the layout didn’t feel overcrowded, which made the whole visit comfortable. Overall, an excellent experience. Creative menu, good execution, and great service. We’d definitely love to come back again.

Local restaurant & bar that offers up a wide selection of gourmet hot dogs and sausages. Service was adequate but at times, we felt forgotten about, having been sat upstairs. The food was delicious, with the menu offering tons of options, ensuring a return visit. Great curated beer selection and cocktail list.

Nestled in the heart of Rutgers, Stuff Yer Face is a beloved bi-level eatery that has become a staple for students and locals alike over its impressive 46-year history. Known affectionately as "Stuffs," this vibrant spot offers an array of delicious options, from their famous stromboli sandwiches to mouthwatering burgers and pizza. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it an ideal venue for everything from happy hours to late-night bites with friends or family gatherings.
Loved this place then and still love it now years later. If anything, this place is consistent. They might be known for their Stromboli's but I come for the potachos and you should too. I've tried them all and they're good but this time I got the buffalo wing and even my most picky friend enjoyed them. We also got the app sampler (chicken fingers, Mac and cheese bites, mozzarella sticks) and a fish bowl is an absolute must. Always guaranteed a good time with good food.

I've been at Rutgers as a student and faculty member for close to 50 years. Finally, ate at stuff yer face. Yummy.
Steven K — Google review
A Rutgers University classic it’s almost like I don’t even have to write a review. I feel like this restaurant is the core of Collegetown food. It’s a bar with obnoxious alcohol orders, and the most crave worthy Stromboli’s in the state, often referred to as just a ‘boli. I had to put the service down to two stars not because of the wait staff or for the people that work there; they are fantastic but more because you have to understand that your Stromboli will be made cooked to order and that can take quite a long time to wait so don’t go to stuff yer face when you’re already hungry. Keep in mind that it’s gonna be a significant wait for you to eat something when you sit down I also love their potachos for this reason they come out quicker and can help stay off the Hangry until you’re most delicious boli arrives
Christine K — Google review
So, what can I say about this place? I’ve had this place on my to do list for years and was super excited to come. Had to look for street parking, which is a deterrent, but it didn’t take too long. The hostess wasn’t really welcoming or friendly, but I just chalk that up to being a young college kid probably. So I’m not deducting any points for that. Our server was friendly and attentive. The inside looked a little old, but I think that just went along with the vibe. The outside looked fun, but they weren’t seating out there and it looks like this place is probably pretty hopping on the weekend with kids. The drinks looked fun, but I didn’t try any. Now to the food. The small boli and the medium boli are the same price except with a small one, you can get a soup, or a salad, which I find fair. The only problem is that they only had two soup choices, and neither one of them was a vegetarian option, so I was stuck with a salad when I would’ve preferred a soup. Not a biggie but disappointed. Now the bolis: They came out, fresh and hot, but the only problem was when they laid them down in the basket, all the cheese was falling out, so everything had to be shoved back in. They shouldn’t lay them down, they should stand them up if that is an issue. I didn’t feel like there was enough flavor or sauce inside. I’m not really a put salt on your food type of person but I just felt like something was lacking here. I should have asked for a little side of sauce because I definitely feel that wasn’t enough. The crust was perfectly cooked. It had a nice crunch as well as a softness to it. I’m not dogging this place and would definitely suggest for people to try it out but I’m just glad it’s off my list and that I got to experience it at least once. As far as the vegetarian choices, they are mixed in with all of the other choices, so you really have to go looking through everything to find your options.

Since October 1977, Stuff Yer Face has been prominently the home to Stuffed Strombolis. The original Stromboli consisted of Onions, Tomato Sauce, Mozzarella, and Green Peppers on a 9-inch roll of Pizza Dough. In 2009, Adam Richman of Man vs. Food stopped at this same location in New Brunswick to make his own, 2-pound stromboli that was revolutionary in showcasing the efforts of creativity that they offer with customized strombolis. When it comes to ths Strombolks they offer at this location, they are great, and are easily some of the best food items you could find in all of New Brunswick. The Meatball Stromboli is among the most the best they can offer, but the other varieties will be just as filling. The one star that was retracted, however, deals with the service. I was told it would take at least 15 minutes to get my food, but it took close to 17 minutes to get the food, and the sports bar environment made us travelers from New York City more tired and ready to just depart with our order. Despite that concern, this place is definitely a great place in the heart of the campus of Rutgers University. Next time, I will come in here to dine in.
Jason K — Google review
This used to be our favorite place in college, and taking a trip down memory lane, it did not disappoint! We came on a Monday night in the summer and were some of the only people here. Our server was fantastic and fast. We hardly had to wait for drinks and food. We had the pulled pork potachos, which were crispy and loaded with pulled pork. They were a tad on the spicy side. Both my husband and I enjoyed our bolis. He had the super regular size, I had the meatball and eggplant baby boli combo. I found the combo to be the perfect size with the appetizer, and we ended up taking food home. Don’t come here expecting fine dining, but it’s fantastic bar food at a price that’s hard to beat. Can’t wait to come back!

Calzones and Stromboli are the best around . The Baby is plenty for 2 or the Large is plenty for 3. Great Bartenders 👍🏽 very friendly place. Atmosphere is just your normal lounge area , but clean . Not to noisey unless towards the evenings .

The ice cream was delicious! Alex was the only one to speak to my son and I and to greet us very pleasantly. She was great with my son while he was ordering and genuinely had a good energy to her! I hope she’s there every time we come from now on! Very beautiful and sweet girl! BTW their cherry vanilla is to DIE FOR!

Loved this place, they had lots of flavor and toppings options! The waffle cones are also super fresh and yummy! Highly recommend the banana pie and rum raisin flavors! It cost us around 18$ for 3 single scoop cones, a little steep. They also have a lot of dairy free options and soft serve. I’d definitely visit again. Overall 4.5/5 stars from me!

If you are in the area, you have to stop by and get some of the best treats ever. If you are lucky like us and have a sample, you will be buying everything in the store. The service was amazing, and she really helped us pick out exactly what we wanted. Very cute chocolate shop/gift shop. It's definitely a place to shop during the holiday. I will definitely be back. We actually went into the chocolate shop next door. I will definitely be back for the ice cream.

Nothing so special or amazing here. Other ice cream places are way way way better. I guess it’s not bad for college town ice cream.

The cutest ice cream shop!! The best flavors and the ice cream is so good; I have been a few times and always have new flavors that are just as good as the next. They also have vegan ice cream too! The staff is also THE BEST and are so friendly and caring.

Stopped by a couple of weeks ago after eating at Stuff Yer Face. I have also went to Thomas Sweets a number of other times prior and I have not had any complaints. A great selection of ice cream and toppings you can choose to add. Love their soft served ice cream in particular. Reasonable in price, polite workers, will definitely continue to come from time to time.

i recently had my boyfriend ask for a cake from thomas sweets because their ice cream is the best! i had the best service ordering my cake and discussing flavors and decorations. he loved it so much for his birthday and i could not be more grateful for thomas sweets and their fabulous workers!!! 10/10 always go here after classes and will be going here for future ice cream cakes!!

Filippo's Famous Pizza has been serving oversized thin-crust slices and pies, along with subs and pasta, since 1972. The counter-serve spot is known for its quick service, making it convenient for those on the go. Customers appreciate the efficient and friendly staff that ensures a smooth ordering process.
There is not much more that one can ask for in a New Brunswick pizza joint. The za is true NY style with large slices of thin crust and perfectly balanced sauce and cheese. Also had the cheesesteak, which is completely competent. Recommended.
Neil F — Google review
Filippo's Famous Pizza has been a New Brunswick staple since 1972, and it's easy to see why. Their large, thin-crust pizzas are a classic for a reason. The dough is light and crispy, and the sauce is flavorful without being overpowering. The toppings are always fresh and plentiful. However, while the pizza is good, it's not quite as exceptional as the hype would suggest. The flavors are a bit generic, and the crust can sometimes be a bit greasy. Additionally, the service can be slow, especially during busy times. Overall, Filippo's Famous Pizza is a solid option for a casual pizza night. The pizzas are large and satisfying, and the prices are reasonable. However, if you're looking for the absolute best pizza in town, you may want to explore other options. Overall, I would recommend Filippo's Famous Pizza for a decent pizza experience. However, if you're looking for the absolute best pizza in town, you may want to explore other options.
Salman I — Google review
The restaurant had an old, vintage feel. We walked in around 1 pm for lunch and wanted to order a slice of pizza with garlic bread and a sandwich. The guy at the front told us they didn’t have garlic bread or sandwiches, only pizza was available. We decided to get four slices of pizza. He put them in the oven for only 30 seconds before serving. Unfortunately, the pizza was tasteless and the worst I’ve ever had. Try at your own risk.
Vrushal S — Google review
FIREE. It was perfect. Sauce was great, cheese was great, and so was was the crust!! Picture doesn't do justice. Topping slice was $5 and some change though
Steph G — Google review
The pizza here is the best I've had in a long time. I tried the thin crust which was outstanding. The atmosphere is lovely, the menu selection is varied with a excellent dinner choices also. Parking is near by in a local parking garage or on the street with meters.
Carolyn K — Google review
Decent pizza. We had half cheese and half veggie medium pizza for $25! A bit pricey for its quality.
Shravankumar H — Google review
I recently swung by Filippo's Famous and grabbed a sausage and pepperoni slice on the go. The overall experience was decent, with quick service and an OK slice. One thing that stood out was the fast service. I was in and out in no time, which is great for those moments when you're on the run and craving a quick bite. The staff members were efficient and friendly, ensuring a smooth and convenient ordering process. As for the slice itself, it was alright. The sausage and pepperoni toppings were satisfactorily portioned and added a nice flavor to the pizza. However, I found the crust to be just average. It lacked the desired crispness and had a texture that was a bit doughy for my liking. While it was decent, it didn't have that wow factor. Considering the on-the-go nature of my visit, I didn't have high expectations. The slice served its purpose as a quick and filling snack, but it didn't leave a lasting impression. In terms of pricing, Filippo's Famous offers reasonable prices for their slices, making it a convenient option for a budget-friendly meal. While my experience with the sausage and pepperoni slice was okay, it's worth noting that Filippo's Famous offers a variety of other toppings and pizza options on their menu. So, there might be other flavors that could deliver a more memorable experience. To summarize, Filippo's Famous provided fast service and an okay sausage and pepperoni slice. It's a decent option when you're in a rush and need a quick pizza fix. However, if you're looking for exceptional flavor or a standout crust, you might want to explore other options.
Victor P — Google review
I have tried their plain and meat lover pizzas as well as their cheesesteak. Their plain pizza is one of my favorite pizzas around. Crust is thin and tasty, cheese is good quality cheese, tasty and aromatic but they could add a tiny bit more sauce and that would make it even better IMO. Crust: 5/5 Sauce: 4/5 Cheese: 5/5 Price: 5/5 Overall: 5/5 Their cheesesteak was okay but not that great, a little dry for some reason.

If you're wandering around Rutgers University and feeling a bit peckish, you absolutely must check out R U Hungry. This iconic food truck has become a staple for students, serving up an impressive array of "fat" stuffed sandwiches, subs, salads, and wraps that are sure to satisfy any late-night cravings. Known for its original Fat sandwich—a towering creation filled with everything from cheesesteak to chicken fingers—R U Hungry is the perfect spot for those looking to indulge in some delicious comfort food.
I thought the food was great! It is an odd combination but all of the flavors mingle together in harmony. It was also cool to see the history of the Rutgers grease trucks on the wall as well. The tables in there are also from the original food truck which was a cool historical touch. If you are ever at Rutgers make sure to stop here.

Worst place ever order a veggie fat sandwich which suppose to be veggie patty and all the veggies. Instead I get a beef and chicken mixture of some kind in my sandwich. Called to complain that I had given up meat for family and religious purposes. There answer call uber eats we will make you another one instead of say we are sorry. For them its no big deal for me a very big deal. Looks like they mess order on regular basis and don't care

The place is nice. They are clean, well organized, the staff is also nice. I went for breakfast and got a bacon, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. It was good, a little salty and I will definitely go again to try their “FAT SANDWICH” which looks like it would reck my guts but it’s part of the R U experience so- It’s a good place. It’s opened while most places around The Yard are closed early in the morning. I would give this place a 4.5 out of 5 from my experience today.
Mati D — Google review
Ordered food from here. 4 out of 5 items were to soggy to eat. The bacon on my BLT was one step away from being RAW!!! I asked for no potatoes on my Italian hot dog and it had potatoes including ketchup and mustard which was not requested. I don't want to order from here again. $70 order not even worth $25. This is the worst rating I've ever had to give and I'm very lenient. (Put the fries in my air fryer before taking a picture)

Indubitably the best grub near the Rutgers campus though I miss the original grease trucks. Mohamed was very nice and is a great cook. He knows how to make official Jersey grub and cold delights like the Oreo Milk shake

For those who complain about too much fries/too greasy simply ASK for less or no fries and you’ll be good. It’s a hallmark of Rutgers, and truly a place to visit before you die! (Of their heart attack-inducing sandwiches!)
Alexandros A — Google review
Fast paced service, very friendly and the food is delicious! The fat sandwiches are big enough to fill you up now and later. My go to spot I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!
Jalen W — Google review
Not impressed 😕 to be completely honest. And that's what I do, tell you guys my honest opinion. I had the mix platter, chicken & lamb w/ rice and salad. Everything was plain and bland. No flavor what so ever. Not even the rice. I couldn't put my finger on why and how they could of messed this up. My friend had the same thing and of coarse he felt the same way. I've been here before and ate other items, and that's why I'm giving this place a mediocre score. Hopefully they fix this because it's a late night meal for alot of people since it's near Rutgers University. This place has be in the area for over 20ish years. They started out in a food truck. And let me tell you the food was alot better back then! A whole lot better. Bring back the flavor!!

I've been going to Noodle Gourmet since the early '90s. Has always been a great place with fast service and absolutely delicious food. Not your typical Chinese restaurant. The dishes are always made with the perfect balance of seasonings and the portion size is just right. My favorite is the N1 Shrimp and Clams in Butter Sauce over Egg Noodles with a Pork Bun as an appetizer. If you are on Easton Ave in New Brunswick, NJ Noodle Gourmet will not disappoint.

Decent Chinese food for the RU-NB area. Usually get the shrimp wonton soup and the eggplant chicken dish. I get bubble tea here on occasion too if I don't feel like walking further down Easton Ave. The food is cheap and the portion size is quite good for the price. Tamp down your expectations and you will be happy with your meal.

This business has been here at the same location forever, and that for a good reason. Consistently, they serve more than decent food every time. The owner is a nice guy. Some people take the tone of his voice mistakingly. But he is a nice guy and very helpful dude.

such good value for money. love the interior of the place. heart warming good ol’ fried rice and egg drop soup.

Got the egg noodle w pork wonton and kumquat lemon tea for lunch. I love the Hong Kong style and the menu. So the food...the pork wonton was amazing, the noodles had alittle bit of taste and the soup base was pretty bland and nothing to it at all. I was so disappointed that the soup was just blah. There was also so much egg noodles in the soup. Was good for 2 people to eat. The bathroom had the classic sewer smell to it when the floor drain p trap isn't primed. There was no parking spots at all on the street. Nearly impossible unless on foot. Overall not impressed and I can see why they avg less then a 4 star. Food can definitely be better.

Tacoria - Mexican Street Kitchen is a vibrant tribute to the rich culture and warm hospitality of Mexico, nestled in New Brunswick, NJ. This beloved eatery has become a staple in the local food scene, thanks to its diverse menu that features an array of mouthwatering tacos—ranging from chicken and beef to delightful vegetarian options. Founded by friends from Rutgers University, Tacoria brings together authentic Mexican flavors with a touch of American flair.
Tacoria is one of, if not the best, restaurants in the New Brunswick area. It has never disappointed! As a vegetarian, I tend to get either rajas or brussels sprouts as the protein, but I recommend getting both of them together. The bowl and the quesadilla are my favorites, and the sauces paired together with the proteins are really tasty. The habanero sauce is the best one. I can’t recommend Tacoria enough.
Savani D — Google review
The cost of Mexican sweet corn seems disproportionately high, considering it's often sold with the corn husks. It feels like poor value when a significant portion of what you're buying isn't edible.

A huge thank you to Tacoria for donating and sponsoring food for not one, but two of our (Highland Park South Asians) Diwali events this year! 🌟 My family also personally orders from Tacoria all the time — their food is always fresh, flavorful, and we love it— so it meant even more to have them be a part of our community celebrations. 💛 A special shoutout to the Talia, the branch manager, who is absolutely amazing to work with! So kind, responsive, and genuinely eager to help — it made the whole experience even better. Every time we reach out, Tacoria is ready to support the community, and that generosity really shines through. Thank you, Tacoria, for being such a wonderful part of our community and for making our Diwali events extra special through your amazing food! 🙏✨

Tacoria is honestly one of the best places to eat in New Brunswick. The food is always fresh and full of flavor, you can tell they put care into every dish. The tacos are loaded with ingredients, the burritos are huge and satisfying, and the chips with guac are always a hit. Everything tastes homemade and seasoned just right. On top of that, the atmosphere is fun and welcoming, and the staff is friendly and quick even when it’s busy. If you’re in New Brunswick and craving Mexican food, Tacoria is a spot you can’t go wrong with.

Nestled in the vibrant heart of New Brunswick, Hansel 'n Griddle is a beloved local chain that caters to all your cravings, from breakfast delights to hearty burgers and sandwiches. This casual eatery has become a staple for Rutgers students, often bustling with patrons eager to enjoy its delicious offerings. The menu boasts an array of options including mouthwatering french toast, fluffy pancakes, savory breakfast burritos, and omelets that are perfect for any time of day.
Hansel ’n Griddle is a hidden gem for anyone craving fresh and flavorful food that hits the spot. The Caesar salad here might look simple, but each bite is packed with rich and satisfying flavors. From the crispy croutons to the fresh greens and the tender, well-seasoned chicken, every element is thoughtfully prepared. The portion sizes are generous, making it a great value for the price. The shop itself has a cozy vibe despite being bustling with customers, and it’s clear the staff work hard to maintain a clean, welcoming environment. They greeted me warmly, adding a personal touch that made the meal even more enjoyable. If you’re in the mood for a hearty salad or just looking for a friendly spot to grab a bite, I’d highly recommend Hansel ’n Griddle. It’s a place I know I’ll be coming back to.

The “hand battered chicken tenders” are terrible. They were thinner than a slice of deli meat. There was more breading than chicken. After frying them, they coat them in sauce, and glaze them in an oven/broiler, which makes them dry, crispy, hard edges and inedible. Not worth the price.. picture show how thin they are how little chicken is under the thick breading.

Was looking for something to eat and came across this place. The staff inside were very pleasant. They have an all-day breakfast and lunch menu and specials of the day menu as well. We ordered the smoothies and OMG they were amazing. The strawberry landslide had simple and fresh ingredients and the Cookie Monster tasted like Oreo heaven.

I’ve recently moved to NJ. This place have been raved about by everyone, so I’ve decided to try it. This is my second and final purchase. My first purchase had a very long hair strand on the box before I even opened it, I let that slide. But this time I won’t. I’m honestly displeased… I bought the banana flip with protein to hopefully avoid having hair in my food. On my first taste something cut my gum. I immediately removed the straw from my mouth and spat it out, only to see a piece of metal. I poured the rest of the smoothie out and there was another piece of metal in my cup (see photos). I called to inform them and the girl apologized and offered to make me another smoothie but I passed. She said she’d have the manager refund me and simply hung up. No info was taken from me, so how will I get the refund? How do they even know which customer it was? This was last Friday afternoon 8/29. Today is Monday 8/31. Unfortunately I can’t say the same like everyone. This please is unsafe and unprofessional by my experience.

Chill Spot for Great Late-Night Bites Hansel N Griddle in New Brunswick is a cozy and calm spot, especially if you’re stopping by late, like I did around 10 PM. The vibe inside was relaxed, making it a perfect place to chill and watch the Yankees lose. I ordered the Honey BBQ Panini, while my girlfriend opted for the Buffalo Chicken Panini. Both were freshly made, flavorful, and hit the spot! We waited around 10 minutes for our food, which came out just right. There’s no table service, but they do have plenty of seating inside and outside to relax and enjoy your meal. The Rutgers decor adds a nice local touch, and the atmosphere is laid-back. If you’re in the area, especially late at night, Hansel N Griddle is definitely worth a visit. We’ll be back for sure!

I came for the sweet carb-filled breakfast foods, I stayed for the salad. If you're worried about paying $12+ for a salad, don't. You will get your money's worth with fast service. A casual, clean "hole in the wall" vibe constantly recommended by people who work nearby. The outdoor seating is perfect for nice weather.

Made a stop here passing through for lunch. Upon entrance everything was clean. You order and pay for your food at the counter. They bring your food to you when done cooking. We ordered wings, quesadilla, 2 italian paninis and potato wedges. Everything was good hot and served fresh. One recommendation is that the meat on the Italian panini be grilled and hot with fried onions and that would have taken it to another level. We actually wrapped it up and took it home to do exactly that. Food offerings were typical and served its purpose for lunch. We did like that they served everything on their menu anytime.

Today, April 14th, I had the pleasure of eating at Hansel ‘n Griddle located on Easton Ave in New Brunswick, NJ. Considering the establishment is located in the heart of New Brunswick there wasn’t a parking lot on site. However, that wasn’t an issue because we parked on a side street for free relatively close to the restaurant. I went with my mother and our bill was about thirty dollars with tip. It wasn’t the typical setup that you expect when going to a restaurant but the food was still up to par. We ordered our food at the counter, grabbed our drinks from the fridge, and then chose a table to sit at. We waited about ten minutes for our food to be brought to the table. I ordered buttermilk pancakes and bacon and my mother ordered a steak crisp. I would describe the “crisp” as one of their unique dishes similar to a quesadilla. The food was flavorful. While waiting for the food I ventured to a sign that looked enticing, “Free Pickles.” That was something unique that I’ve never seen at a restaurant in New Brunswick, nevermind any restaurant alone. The aesthetic of the establishment was exciting with bright green walls, Rutgers paintings on the walls, and sunlight beaming in from the large windows in the front of the restaurant. We entered the restaurant at 12:00 p.m. and left closer to 12:45 p.m. Overall, Hansel ‘n Griddle was a great experience and I will certainly be making my way back.

Dunkin' is a beloved chain known for its signature breakfast offerings and an impressive array of coffee beverages. My visits to this particular Dunkin' have consistently been enjoyable, thanks to their speedy service. I was thrilled when the Dunkalatte made its return; it’s truly a standout drink, especially when topped with cold foam! The croissant egg and cheese sandwich is delightful, with the croissant being particularly flaky and delicious.
I’ve been to this Dunkin quite a few times, and have had good experiences every time. The service is quick. I’m so glad the Dunkalatte was brought back, it is the best drink at Dunkin, especially with cold foam on top. I can’t recommend it enough. The croissant egg and cheese was scrumptious, especially the croissant. The grilled cheese was decent, but not the best I’ve had at Dunkin. The donuts here are good. I tried the cotton candy donut for the first time, and it is definitely very sweet!

White Castle is a beloved fast-food chain known for its iconic sliders, which include beef, chicken, and fish options. The atmosphere at White Castle locations often exudes a welcoming vibe, with friendly staff who enhance the dining experience. Many patrons appreciate the cleanliness of the restaurants and restrooms, making it an inviting place to enjoy a meal. Whether you're indulging in their signature sliders or munching on crispy onion rings, each bite transports you back to nostalgic moments shared with friends.
I saw a bad review below that was simply because the guy didn't know what sliders are like. Yes they are thin & have 5 holes, but they're unique and you eat a lot of them at once ;D This location has always been fine in my experience, and my visit 2 weeks ago the woman and the drive through was more pleasant than I expected, so what more can I ask for from a White Castle. My husband brought me a burrito from this location. First of all they didn’t wrap it properly and put the whole thing in a bowl. Second I found a piece of avacado pit in my guacamole! I ignored it but then I continued to find MULTIPLE pieces of inedible things in my bowl. I love chipotle but I am VERY disappointed.

Order two salad bowls got charged two different prices, steak was very dried out, extremely chewy and I've been drinking Pink stuff because my stomach been messed up since eating the food. For 33 dollars in these times is a no go for subpar not fit to eat food. What happened Chipotle tried to give you a second chance after getting a less than full bowl delivered. Only to now be dealing with food poisoning! Because you want give scraps dug out of empty containers. getting the chills, sweats, and stomach upset currently. service is slow, they don't really greet you, no one looks like they want to be there. lettuce already turning, rice is clumpy. Nothing has flavor. Ill stick to mom-and-pop shops they care, and the food is top notch. After reading comments cross contamination could have played into why I'm sick mixing spoons into other things. Either way the risk of eating here isn't worth risking my life and health.

Good food + good service + nice vibe = Very happy with my experience here. I think i found my new lunch spot. 😁

Kings pizza is one of the best pizza spots in central Jersey. The plain slice is awesome, and has the right proportions of everything. As a first-timer, I appreciated how attentive they were, guiding me through the menu with enthusiasm. The cleanliness of the restaurant added to the overall positive experience.
First time here but definitely not my last. Place is very clean and the staff was very nice. Being my first time here the guy behind the counter explained everything to my wife and I. I can't think of not having nachos without general tso's chicken now. Very impressed by the options and food. 5 stars!!!

Wanted to try this place out so I spent $10.15 on a bowl. Was expecting something like chipotle but opened it up to find a the bowl that is 98% rice, 1% lettuce, and 1% everything else. The rice wasnt anything special either, just plain white rice. Money is better spent literally anywhere else

First ever time I've thrown out food I paid for. The 2, $14 burritos were 98% rice, 2% chicken. They didn't include the cheese or onions either. I couldn't get a refund because it was through Uber Eats. Never ordering here again.

SALT!!! ALL SALT!! This is literally cheap ground meat that you buy in the store, mixed with about four or five taco seasoning packets. Ordered seasoned rice and got white, My burritos were two for $10 and I can see why. 90% rice 10% chicken. I usually don’t grind up restaurants about their food, But I am a retired chef and I would never put something of this salt quality out, especially for a delivery! First time trying and will be the last… Good chips tho 🤷‍♂️ 🤦‍♂️

not good overall, horrible experience. burrito shaped identically to a grenade, enough to trigger a ptsd response from a veteran. flavor was good tho, i got a gochujang burrito. the staff needs a raise, i sympathize with them. eating my last bite rn, too much tortilla, nothing inside, sort of like my soul.

Ordered food at 8:07 pm and we were told 10-15 minutes. When we got there the staff seem very confused and disorganized. We arrived 35 minutes after calling and food was still not ready for a little while. We understand that restaurants can be busy/chaotic, but why tell us 10 minutes then? Multiple walk-in orders came in, ordered, and received their food before ours was ready. Ended up having to wait for new steak to be made for our tacos and was shocked when this was one of the tacos we received in our order. We completely understand that when just steak and cheese tacos (and no other toppings) are ordered the tacos won't be stuffed- but to have 3 tiny pieces of steak and a sprinkle of cheese in a taco is not acceptable for a 10 dollar meal. Besides that we were pretty happy with the food, but will most likely travel to another franchise to order again.

Came in on Monday night and ate in the restaurant. Food was decent, I had no complaints - their box was filled entirely and they didn't seem to skimp on anything. Staff were extremely kind to me, showed me where everything was. I have never seen that kind of service from a "fast-casual" kind of restaurant. This will be the only Bubbakoo's I will go to in the future because of the service I got there.

They asked me for the survey 5 years after I ate there talk about being on top of things

Eco-minded, fast-food-style chain for organic burgers (including veggie options), fries & shakes.
I was waiting for a long time for this place to be open. This place is busy!! Great halal burgers! Already been here twice and more to come! Staff is very friendly and they accommodate all kinda requests..

They’re still going through their soft opening but the food is good. Matches the taste from the locations I’ve been at in Virginia and Maryland. I stick with the Elevation Burger (two patties) but you can get more adventurous if you’d like with up to ten patties. There’s also an option to get your beef or chicken wrapped in lettuce if you don’t want a bun. The bacon here is beef (and Halal). The fries are ok (as they are at all their locations). Not the worst idea to skip them though. They fry them in Olive Oil and I’m pretty sure they cut the potatoes on location too. The customer service was good. They brought the food to our table and the general manager checked in on us to see how we liked the food. Same with another employee. There was another man walking around who I assume is one of the franchise owners too. They seemed liked they were looking for legitimate feedback before the grand opening on the 29th. There isn’t much seating so I can imagine that this will cause some problems when Rutgers is open. There is outdoor seating in The Yard though so people will take advantage of that. Parking will also be a bit of challenge but there is meter parking nearby. You have a view of the big screen in The Yard form here. We were watching the NCAA Tournament from inside while we ate. Will have to try their shakes next time.

It was a good burger joint. All halal meats being used for their burger. Organic, free range meats. Only downside is potato buns is being used. Fries is add on's doesn't come with the burger. Worth going there
Hasam Z — Google review
This is hands down, the BEST burger joint I've ever been to! Exceptional quality, exceptional atmosphere, exceptional service, and most of all, exceptional food! Organic, grass-fed, beef and chicken patties make it worthwhile.
Imad K — Google review
Burger was okay at best tasted very salty. The fries were lukewarm and greasy. The oreo milkshake was good.
Ana R — Google review
The burgers here are very good. They are full of flavor and are delicious. They do not taste frozen by any means. The French fries are really good too! Although they might seem a bit on the greasy side, but that’s how fries are meant to be. Overall if you’re in the mood for a burger and you’re on college ave, this is the place to go
Brian C — Google review
It was one of the best burgers I ever had. Really delicious. Different. Organic. Grass fed.Just when you think it cannot get better, there are real fruit smoothies. The service was fast and staff were nice. We loved it.
Tugce A — Google review
Long waits, no AC, cheese fries were stuck go paper napkins. Burgers are pretty good but there are many better choices nearby. Milkshakes are average. Come for the food not the service. Go for the bigger burgers, they are better!

20Brunswick Pizza & Grill

Pizza restaurant
Brunswick Pizza & Grill is the go-to destination for delicious pizza and delivery wings. Customers have consistently had positive experiences and have sampled various other options in the area without finding any that compare. The wings are not breaded, ensuring they arrive crisp, rather than soggy. They are generously sized and come with a flavorful hot sauce. Although the other wing flavors have not been tried yet, they are sure to be equally satisfying.
I've been ordering pizza from Brunswick Pizza for over 10+ years! Love their family run pizza shop. They are originally from Brooklyn, and they make my favorite plain pie in the area! I absolutely love their Grandma Pie too! I've gotten their pies light crush and well done. Both fantastic!

I order here all the time. It's either a hit or miss. Prices and pizza always change. Have consistency if you want customer to come back. Du'sals is way better.

Best grilled chicken Caesar salad! Homemade croutons and dressing , chicken is delicious and lots of roasted red pepper! My favorite lunch! Also pizza is delicious !
Zabadoo D — Google review
my go-to spot for pizza and delivery wings! I haven't been disappointed yet and tried most of the others in the area. Definitely worth the call! Wings aren't breaded so when you get them they aren't a soggy gross mess. They're big and use a great hot sauce. I haven't tried the others. Pizza is my favorite sauce and cheese quantity and quality and they have options for different styles of crust of course. Plain pizza here is really great! Delivery time is pretty great too but I basically live across the street. #paisan
