Coach House Coffee Shop and Store is a popular spot in Luss, offering a wide range of local and Scottish delicacies. It's known for its cozy atmosphere, making it the perfect place to warm up after exploring Loch Lomond. The cafe serves delicious scones with jam or whipped cream alongside a comforting cup of tea. In addition to their delectable cakes, they also offer soups, sandwiches, and an assortment of hot beverages.
Little gem of a cafe near Loch Lomond. Me and my family randomly found this place and decided to have a look. We ended up dining in and having a lovely lunch. The tomato soup was really nice and had so much flavour. The serving size was quite big and good value for money. The service was fantastic, the waitress highlighted to us that one of the soups had ham in it which we couldn’t eat, this was really nice of her to inform us. Overall a really lovely place to take family. The surroundings are quite homely and the food is fresh and home made. After we ate, we went for a stroll on Loch Lomond banks which was a great way to end our lunch :)

Delicious food Service a little slow but they where very busy Clean toilets always a plus Highly recommend the scone and jam/cream 😆😆

Lovely place to stop and enjoy a hot tea or coffee with lots of cakes options!! Everything was delicious. Very recommend!

Great little cafe just up from the water. It has indoor and shaded outdoor seating. A wide menu for all tastes. It's got a small gift shop inside and is dog friendly, even providing complementary dog treats and water.
Jonathan C — Google review
Best scone of my life👍. I had as well the haggis, on oir last day in Scotland, and that's totally palatable from a french point of view. Very simple dish served with mashed potatoes and melted cheese that reminds me of the aligot in Clermont Ferrand. Service is excellent, friendly waitresses, but it comes with a hefty price tag. That's the cost of reputation. Bad surprise, I got a penalty for not parking my motorcycle properly. An expensive brunch indeed.
Xavier G — Google review
What a great find whilst visiting Loch Lomond and stopping over in Luss. Very friendly staff, quick service, very dog friendly and lovely garden where we could eat our take away. Three choices of soups and the carrot and parsnip was homemade, hot and really tasty. Served with a slice of crusty bread. My husband had a stokie ( filled bap) which was really good. We highly recommend this cafe.

It was a bit crowded, but the food and coffee were great. Just browsing the pretty items for sale made the visit worthwhile.

Bakery
Mhor Bread & Store is a charming artisan bakery located in a nostalgic street, offering simple and delicious feel-good food. The bakery boasts an enticing display of sourdough loaves, Mediterranean tear-and-share bread, meringues, doughnuts, tarts, sausage rolls, and pies. It's popular among locals but can get crowded during peak times. The tearoom provides excellent vegetarian and vegan options.
Tucked into the charming town of Callander, Mhor Bread & Store is the kind of bakery that makes you wish your tour bus had a flat tire—just so you’d have more time to linger. From the moment we stepped inside, the scent of fresh-baked pastries and savory pies wrapped around us like a cozy tartan blanket. The steak and haggis pie, a bold beautiful bite of Scotland, and the sausage rolls looked like a flaky perfection. But the real showstopper? The meringue cookies—towering, cloud-like confections that looked like they’d been whipped up by a pastry wizard with a sweet tooth and a sense of humor. Everything we tried (and ogled) appeared fresh, high-quality, and made with care. The selection was impressive, balancing hearty savory options with indulgent sweets. The staff were friendly and relaxed, creating an atmosphere that felt more like a neighborhood gathering spot than a tourist stop. My wife ordered a sandwich to take away for lunch later on our tour, and it was so good it became the unofficial mascot of our trip. She’s mentioned it multiple times since we got home—proof that Mhor Bread doesn’t just feed you, it leaves a delicious imprint on your travel memories. If you're passing through, do yourself a favor: grab a pie, snag a sweet, and let Mhor Bread be the bite-sized highlight of your Highland adventure.

Ah I could easily over indulge here. The filled rolls, pies etc looked amazing. The sweet treats omg looked fantastic and some great artisan Produce too. The roast beef sandwich was fab. Crunchy and soft. The beef plentiful. Coffee made well, we sat in but my only gripe was everything is served to go. And coffee is never as good in a takeaway cup compared with a decent cup. We arrived at lunch time and although there was a queue it did go down quickly and there was still plenty on offer. Well worth a visit! Scored down atmosphere as it was communal seats and served as take out.
Ryan S — Google review
We were visiting this area and wanted a quick lunch. This place was rated well. It was busy and they had a small area for dining. Luckily, we were able to seat. The pastries were reasonably priced & delicious.

Or is got to be one of Callenders Wee Gems! Food, Bread, Filled Rolls, Bread dips, Cakes & Coffee was absolutely amazing!!! Rolls packed with fillings!!! So many choices in this Shop I couldn’t decide!! Spent a fair bit though! Well worth travelling through from Dundee to there for a treat!!! Definitely recommend and going back!!

This so call the “best bakery in Scotland” it really lives up to its reputation I never have Honey Mustard chips in UK but I got one at there! Love it! Hope visit there soon!

Great bakery. Plenty choice of filled sandwiches(lot of feeling like pulled pork, shredded chicken, egg mayo) Pies and sweets. Eat takeaway or sit in. Great atmosphere of local produce of cheese and infused oils to buy as well. Be aware of the long queues, but waiting time is satisfying. Best place in Callander.
Marcin L — Google review
Omg amazing cakes, sandwiches and coffee.people have marked it down for the communal seating and everything being takeaway but it is in Callander and most customers are groups of hikers so it does it's job. I absolutely love it.

Second visit here. Absolutely delightful food. Enjoyed the steak pie, caramel oatie and bites of my husband's egg mayonnaise sandwich. Everything is fresh and wonderful.

Cafe
Cake shop
Nestled in the picturesque village of Strathyre, not far from the stunning Loch Lubnaig, Broch Cafe is a delightful haven for travelers exploring the Trossachs or enjoying outdoor adventures along Rob Roy's Way. This charming Italian-themed cafe has recently earned accolades as one of Central Scotland's top bistros. With a menu featuring gluten-free soups, sandwiches, and an array of homemade cakes, it’s perfect for breakfast or lunch.
We accidentally stumbled along the Broch Cafe. Sure am glad we did! I had a great pressed sandwich & the seating outside was beautiful! Not really any gluten free options for my wife, so if you have a gluten allergy, keep that in mind. I on the other hand… enjoyed my sandwich :)
Sam M — Google review
Lovely cafe with great food. Very friendly staff. Tattie scone is top.
Padius P — Google review
We came across this café on our way from Fort William to Stirling and immediately felt it was the right place, away from the larger restaurants along the route. The staff were extremely friendly, and both the soup of the day and the tuna melt panini were among the best we’ve had on our travels in the UK. There aren’t too many seats inside in case of rainy weather, but if you’re nearby and feeling hungry, it’s definitely worth a stop! We would be more than happy to come back.

I’m a Canadian tourist - we stopped here on our way to Glencoe from Edinburgh. They have amazing coffee, hot chocolate, and food! The service is amazing! Such a cute cafe, would recommend to anyone!

Fantastic cafe which we visited twice during our stay in Strathyre. Excellent customer service with very friendly staff and quick service. We sat outside on one visit and inside on another. Panini was very tasty and hot chocolate really good. We highly recommend a stop over here.

Really good breakfast rolls. The flat sausage was great and from a local butcher. The fat on the back bacon could be slightly more cooked but overall very good.

Cafe Zest is a charming spot located at Loch Lomond Shores in Balloch, offering a delightful dining experience. Situated within the department store, it provides a variety of sandwiches and delectable cake options. The cafe boasts friendly staff and wheelchair accessibility, making it convenient for all visitors. With its prime location near the shores of Loch Lomond, it offers a magnificent view while serving British and Scottish cuisine.
I had a fabulous afternoon tea with a group of friends. The service was exceptional. Alex and his staff were helpful and ensured we had all we needed taking good care of us. Nothing was a bother. The food was delicious and plentiful. They catered for my own gluten free requirements without any fuss or difficulty. I felt as pampered and spoiled as everyone else in the group when our individual cake stands arrived laden with fresh sandwiches and cakes. The value for money was amazing. The view out on to the water was beautiful. I would highly recommend it and will be back soon.
Louise R — Google review
Cafe in a small rundown shopping mall on the shores of Loch Lomond, the view over the loch being its main attraction. Seating was very uncomfortable and cushions on our seats were dirty. The floors too had not been cleaned in a while with some very dubious marks on the floor. However the worst part was the awful smell hanging in the air - presumably from something cooked earlier in the day and gone stale. Luckily we only wanted a cup of tea so didn't stop long.
John L — Google review
A great stop off on a rainy day. Friendly staff helped seat us on a busy day, and our food arrived quickly, hot and fresh, despite it being a very busy day. I enjoyed the Bacon Cheeseburger, and the Chilli jam in it was a good addition. There were many veggie and vegan options as well, including cakes, and my son loved the homemade soup. You may be unlucky arriving just as a coach party arrive, but otherwise turnover seemed quick, and staff kept things moving.
John R — Google review
Good cafe on Loch Lomond shores, with great view. There was no hot food at that time (3 pm, I guess), just coffee and sweets. There was no outdoor setting area, knowing that it would have been wonderful if available. Good indoor settings, and they have a wide variety of sweets, pastry, and cakes. Good choice since there were very few choices of restaurants.
Faisal M — Google review
The halloumi burger was very good, and the views of the lake were nice. Otherwise, the food was very mediocre. We got some of the fish and chips, which on the menu said peas, but after getting our food, there was some very sad "salad" on the plate instead. After we then asked about it because we thought it came with peas, and got some attitude and dissmissal from the waitress that they were out of peas. If it had been friendly or sympathetic at all, I probably wouldn't have thought much about it, I wouldn't want to get annoyed at anyone trying to do their best when they ran out of something. But getting attitube when just asking about it and wanting to know what was happening, that's not a necessary experience for anyone. Really made the situation worse. When ordering, the lack of peas should have been brought up, as missing the peas entirely is a big loss for that dish. And if they ran out sometime after we ordered, we should have been informed with kindness, we should have had to ask about it or chase anyone down just to find out why our dish was wrong. Considering their lack of peas was not our fault, I would have expected a better substitute than a tiny few leaves as consolidation, or at least the option to change our order once informed. The peas really make a substantial difference to be something to so casually replace so poorly. But the attitude given to us by the waitress was really what made it so much worse. The water self-service was poorly kept up. The first time I wanted water, there were no glasses out, and the second time I went there was no water, and I had to wait a few minutes after asking before they got around to taking care of it. The restaurant did look to be understaffed, which reflects poorly on management. Running out of peas, which should be one of the last things you run out of, also reflects poorly on the running of the cafe. The burger was honestly good, but with problems at almost every other turn would probably not eat there again after my experience. If you want a quite bite while visiting the lake, probably fine, but I couldn't recommend after my experience.
Kinton T — Google review
The atmosphere is great. The service is wonderful and the food was amazing. The best haddock battered fish I have had so far. Their vegan soup was also delicious. Sweet potato fries were perfect. Desserts were heaven. Just a little heads up as their vegan options are a bit limited.
Akshaya V — Google review
Came for afternoon tea with a group of friends. The service was so friendly, the food excellent, and there were gluten free options. A beautiful setting, and nothing was too much trouble! Highly recommended.
Fiona G — Google review
School cafeteria style dining The atmosphere is very nice, but the cutlery wasn't very clean so we had to make do with wooden knives instead We got fish and chips (9.50 each portion) which contained very little fish, which was quite dry and flavourless, and mostly batter! Wouldn't recommend this, definitely get another option if you are visiting Prices are not expensive but not cheap either. Photo shows how much excess batter there was

Nestled next to the enchanting Tir na nOg Holistic Centre, The Soup Dragon Cafe is a delightful retreat for anyone exploring the breathtaking Loch Lomond and Trossachs region. This charming cafe serves up an array of scrumptious cakes and simple yet satisfying meals in a cozy atmosphere that invites you to unwind. Stopped here last weekend on my way back from Ben Lomond and I will be back for sure. I was convinced I was about to walk into someone’s house but it was such a fun spot once I figured out where I was! Food was amazing (see photo) and the guy working there was great - polite and just good vibes. The shop next door is great too, selling incense and candles etc, and there’s a woodland walk (that I didn’t have time to do unfortunately) and a castle in the garden! This is a must stop if you are passing and need a snack (or a full meal) - I will be back.

Seek out this amazing gem of a cafe. Food is excellent, staff friendly and not expensive. Great atmosphere with crystal shops onsite. Take a wander through the woodland walks as you will be delighted to come across the Fairy houses, Piano, art work and light shows. A great day out. Parking onsite.

My wife and I loved this cafe! The owner David gave us a very warm welcome. While we enjoyed our delicious breakfast (sandwiches, flapjack, coffee) he shared some great local tips. We appreciated our experience so much that we went back a second time while visiting Scotland. We asked David for advice on where to fill up a low tire, and he immediately went to the back room and lent us his tire pump. So grateful for his help and creating such a nice atmosphere!

Fantastic bakery with some indoor and outdoor seating. Ordered two baguettes and the quantity and quality of the fillings was amazing. Tasty, fresh and the baguette was nicely warmed. Sat outside and watched the world go (slowly) by. Staff were helpful, friendly and made it all a very pleasant experience. Definitely come again.

Nestled in the charming town of Aberfoyle, Liz Macgregors is a delightful spot that captures the essence of friendly service and delicious food. The café boasts an inviting atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a meal while soaking in the local vibe. Their freshly baked rolls filled with perfectly cooked bacon are a standout, showcasing meticulous attention to detail and generous portions. For lunch enthusiasts, their fish and chips offer a tasty experience with ample servings.
These two rolls n bacon from Liz Macgregors in Aberfoyle were truly exceptional. The rolls were freshly baked and had a perfect texture, combining chewiness with fluffiness. The bacon was cooked to perfection, with a crispy exterior and juicy interior. The level of care and attention put into making these rolls was evident in their taste. In addition, the portion size was generous. Each roll contained two thick slices of bacon, complemented by tomato sauce. It was a feast for the senses, and despite the large portion, the taste was so good that I managed to finish both rolls. Overall, I would rate these rolls n bacon a perfect 10 out of 10. If you ever find yourself in Aberfoyle, I highly recommend seeking out these rolls - they are truly worth trying.

Spacious places with a good selection of breakfast items and pastries. Overall liked it well, however one star less as my partner had got pancakes that were smoky and didn’t taste well. May be an odd mistake. Still worth noting. One of those shops which open much early than others for breakfast and serve good food.
ARUN S — Google review
Just your average breakfast place but with a big city premium price. Couldn't believe it was over £30 for 2 small breakfasts, 2 coffees and a kids waffle and ice cream

Had a nice lunch at Liz Macgregors in Aberfoyle. I ordered the fish and chips. The food was delicious and tasty with generous portion. There were plenty of indoor seatings and some outside the restaurant as well. They also have delicious treats and cakes. The restaurant was clean and the staff members were helpful and friendly.

Great cafe. Food was really reasonably priced and dog friendly. Great selection of cakes to enjoy after a long walk. If it’s sunny a good location to sit and watch the world go by.

Distinctly average and slightly dry cake £4.60 a slice. Which is only marginally cheaper than a sandwich 🤔 albeit the sandwich was made on the cheapest brown bread going. Coffee a little bitter. Nice to sit outdoors in the sun mind and watch the world go by. I've had better coffee stops.

Bakery
Nestled in the heart of Callander, Main Street Bakery is a delightful spot that embodies the charm of traditional Scottish baking. This beloved establishment offers an impressive array of treats, from savory pies and pastries to scrumptious cakes and sandwiches. The bakery prides itself on using high-quality ingredients, with everything crafted on-site by a skilled baker known for their expertise. Whether you're in the mood for a warm roll or a slice of exquisite sourdough, you'll find it here.
Today we had „Hot Pie with chicken and curry, Beef and chili and the Hungarian Goulashsoup.“ It was delicious, the best pie and soup we had in Scottland for lunch!

Out-dated, but by no means out-matched Popped into this charming little bakery for a cheeky treat. The pastries and pies on offer here look like something your grannie might have made, but you know what? Grannie can cook. Pineapple tart, 8/10, classic little pastry, overflowing with cream, beautiful sweet pineapple jam on the bottom and the pastry was lovely and buttery. Excellent work 👌

Thank you for the sandwiches! We were coming from Edinburgh, and these were the best bread and sandwiches we’ve had. Please let us know if you ever open a place in Edinburgh, haha. The guy at the counter was very kind and generous, and the natas were amazing — fresh and perfectly sized. Thanks again!

Enjoy the most delicious mushroom soup here and they gave us an oven baked roll which apparently is an overcooked roll or something like that. It was really delicious and very late. Indeed the staff were fantastic and we really enjoyed our late lunch that we had here. Would highly recommend.
Shane M — Google review
Popped by on Saturday to pick up a sweet treat to take along to the riverside and enjoy in the autumn sunshine. The bakery has had an upgrade since we were last here but still offers the same (maybe better) great pies and cakes. We got two Viennese whirls - a traditional and a biscoff (I think) and a coconut jam tart. So many delicious looking options that it was hard to choose but these went down a treat and we'll just have to visit again to try something else!
Debbie G — Google review
Best bakers in the area by far. The pies are really tasty with lots of traditional and interesting fillings. The cakes and tarts are delicious and the coffee's not half bad either. All for a good price too. I've been quite a few times now and the staff are always really friendly and have a laugh if there's time. It gets busy around lunchtime but find anywhere in Callander that doesn't. The honey they sell is local and really good, we buy a couple of jars every year and I wholly recommend it with yogurt and fresh strawberries. Theres a small sit in area but most people sit on the wall or benches around the square outside. Plenty of bins nearby for rubbish.
Steve S — Google review
A lovely bakery offering large variety of savoury and sweet food options. We enjoyed the spicy macaroni hot pie and sausage roll. Check the chalkboard for what options are available hot. There’s nice hot coffee too!
Samantha C — Google review
Great bakery with a super choice of hot or cold rolls, great sourdough products, beautiful cakes all made on the premises by a renowned quality baker who now owns the company. Very pleasant and knowledgeable staff and the premises is always spotlessly clean. By far, the best bakery in Callander.

Villa Bakery is a delightful gem that truly stands out for its charming atmosphere and friendly staff. Recently, I ordered a lemon sponge cake adorned with a knitting theme for my mother-in-law's birthday, complete with decorative wooden skewers as knitting needles. While the cake was delicious and enjoyed by all, it would have been helpful to know about the skewers beforehand to ensure safety.
They have the best french fancies ever. I get a craving every now and then and send the wife down to pick some up. Prices are also decent

The wedding cake I asked for ( the pretty one) vs what my mum has just sent me a photo off. Isn't chocolate either like I asked for a month ago. Woman tried to blame the young girl saying things weren't wrote down but she called my mum and mentioned the chocolate first and there's a reference photo. We asked fir instead of it being green if it could be light blue and it's white. No yellow in the flowers. Imagine a bakery calling 3 days before your wedding saying they've not got chocolate sponge? You'd imagine they'd bake it wouldn't you. There goes being buzzing about freezing my cake for anniversaries to come and pretty photos, absolute shambles to pass to someone a day before their wedding yous should be ashamed.

I will say the savoury pastries are tasty and the fruit slice is super been eating here since I was a kid just a fab wee bakery they don't compare to my granny but there not far off

I recently ordered a lemon sponge cake for my mother-in-law’s birthday, which was decorated with a knitting theme. The design included two knitting needles and some yarn balls. Sponge cake was lovely, everyone enjoyed it. However, I was shocked to discover that the knitting needles were made with wooden skewers inside them. This was not communicated to me when I ordered the cake, and I believe this should’ve been said when collecting the cake to prevent any harm. If I hadn’t noticed that in time, someone could’ve bitten into that.

I went into collect the cake my partner had went into place an order for and on arrival the girls behind the counter all had their backs turned and no one even said “hello” I handed over the piece of paper they had given my partner with details of the cake and the remaining cost, they all looked completely puzzled and had to figure out between them what cake they needed to find, ( the cake I came into collect ) eventually the main baker and only one by the looks of things sprung upon me that I had my own topper which we never said we did, therefore she then asked me if I wanted to put the name on it which my partner had asked them to do in the first place of which I agreed, she finally came out with the cake and to my surprise it was the wrong colours! The details were a white and red cake with. Tiktok logo, of which they brought out a white and pink cake….what a bakery, can’t even get the colours correct besides show basic welcoming customer service when you walk in….we won’t be back

Went in to get a hot savoury and was told that they could only do it in the microwave, in my experience they come out soft not crisp like pastries should, the shop actually has a oven thing in the shop specifically for pies etc but don't appear to use it. I still bought a couple of cold pies and sausage rolls and heated them at home and found them tasteless and under seasoned. Front of shop is very small and cramped.

12Lodge on Loch Lomond

Hotel
Nestled in the picturesque village of Luss, Lodge on Loch Lomond is an elegant hotel offering plush rooms and suites with stunning views of Loch Lomond. The upscale restaurant, Colquhouns, serves locally sourced dishes and boasts panoramic views of the loch and mountains. Guests can pamper themselves at the spa or take advantage of leisure facilities including a swimming pool.
We were lucky enough to get married at the Lodge on 31/07 and we couldn’t have wished for a better location! Kelly our wedding coordinator went above and beyond and she had the most relaxed manner which really put us at ease. Everything went seamlessly on the day and we didn’t have to think about anything other than enjoying ourselves. The food, the views and the service were all spectacular. So many of our guests said it’s the best wedding they’ve ever been to and much of that was down to the Lodge. We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. The rooms are beautiful and very clean. The views are unbeatable! And all the staff in the hotel are welcoming and helpful. We will be back!!

Absolutely fantastic wedding planning team who worked hard to make our day fantastic. Their list of recommended suppliers was perfect, the food was delicious, everyone was served at the same time. They managed to accommodate our decor requests. The rooms were gorgeous. The breakfast on the day after was exactly what we needed. Thoroughly delighted with the whole experience.

THE NO SMOKING HOTEL THATS A SMOKING HOTEL! Looked lovely on paper with spectacular view over Loch Lomond. Unfortunately 😕 poor thinking on check in staff only one room card issued even though two doors needed access by card to get to room one from a shared corridor to the two rooms. Card didn't work so long trip back to reception at the other side of car park. Very strange set up room with balcony looking out over Loch Lomond nice and big but bath room with bath and shower no door and a separate toilet. Stay in room wasn't pleasant advertised heavily as a non smoking hotel but most concerning was the sticker on the door instructing smokers to shut the door so as no smoke enters the room. After a lovely meal we retreated back to the room for an early night window open for the fresh air from the Loch unfortunately that's when it went down hill room through the night filled with passive smoke from the smokers on the balcony next door causing us to wake on a number of occasions and disrupt our sleep with passive smoke. The hotel clearly knows they have an issue with smoke going into the rooms as they state on their terms and conditions if the room smells of smoke they will recharge you for another night to cover the cost of taking the smell away. So the hotel that is a non smoking is actually designed that the only way you won't be subject to passive smoker in your room is to keep your windows and balcony door closed. If your a non smoker avoid this place as it's sickening to wake up with the taste of nicotine in your mouth and nose from sleep. Non smoking hotel discourage and ban smoking at entrance yet provided ashtrays on the private balcony even though they know the smoke will enter the rooms of non smoking guests. A non smoking hotel that openly encourages smoking on the room balconies that causes passive smoke into surrounding rooms around.

My wife and I stayed recently for a wedding and got to say we were really impressed especially with the views couldn't get any better. There is plenty of parking and very easy to get to. Our first room was looking right onto the loch. For the day of the wedding we got moved across to the lodge where the wedding was happening. The staff moved all our stuff so it wasn't a stress for us. Our new room was as pretty as the first with a lovely balcony. The wedding went very smooth and really tasty food. I would go back for another stay for the views alone

This hotel is great. The location is great, the breakfast is wonderful, the view stunning. I would have given it 5 starts had my mattress not had a spring coming out the side which scratched my leg every time I got out of the bed. Despite the spring, this hotel is worth a visit!
Cynthia M — Google review
We recently stayed at the Lodge on Loch Lomond for a short holiday, and we had a really good experience overall. The staff were polite, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay, which made a noticeable difference. The location is fantastic, right on the edge of the loch with some incredible views. If you’re booking a stay, I’d strongly recommend going for a room or suite with a loch view—it’s well worth it, especially in the early mornings or around sunset. Breakfast was a highlight. It’s served in a dining area overlooking the loch and the nearby island, which creates a great atmosphere to start the day. The halibut with poached eggs was excellent—something you don’t find on a typical breakfast menu. There’s direct access to the loch from the hotel, and while there is a beach area, it’s mainly used by hotel guests, so it doesn’t get crowded or noisy. A short walk from the lodge takes you to guided boat tours which are a good way to explore the area from the water. We also walked to Luss village, which is nearby. It’s quiet, scenic, and has a few local shops where you can pick up souvenirs or just enjoy a slow wander through the streets. All in all, the Lodge on Loch Lomond is a solid option if you’re looking to relax and enjoy the scenery. It’s well-located, well-run, and gave us a peaceful break with plenty to do in the area.

We stopped by on the off chance for lunch. We rang beforehand and were assured that we could have a table. On arriving the lodge was extremely busy and a wedding was in progress. We were concerned that service therefore would be scarce and slow. We could not have been more wrong. Even though the place was busy there were plenty of staff, we were treated like royalty and the orders were taken swiftly with the excellent food arriving very shortly afterwards. It was a delightful visit with delicious food, friendly and efficient staff and the most beautiful view. We are very much looking forward to returning in the very near future!
