Pizzas 🍕 and pasta🍝are the main attraction.
The only thing I say is some 🍕 are a bit too sauces and need less sauce but apart from that very decent .
The prices are a bit extreme when you compare to actually Italian restaurants that we been to when on average the price for a large pizza 🍕 is 130 while here it was averaging around the 170 Mark.
Apart from the 2 mentioned things it's definitely worth to bring the little ones as they have a play area upstairs.

Had their Pecan Nut Choc Fudge Pizookie.... Was sorely disappointed. After having had them in America, my fiancée was expecting a thick and warm cookie like dessert with a contrast of cold ice cream. When it arrived it was room temperature and as thin as paint. Honestly felt like we were scraping the bottom of a pot to just get at some of the cookie. Was by far not worth the price. Would recommend that you avoid it as a dessert option. At least the flavour (so far as we could taste the 3mm deep dessert) was fine.
At least the service was pretty good for a busy holiday season day and the Salami, Caramelized Onions and Feta Bianco pizza was good.
Which is sad that the dessert left a metaphorically bitter taste in our mouths.

Absolutely Perfect Baby Shower at The Pottery!
I recently hosted a baby shower at The Pottery, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From the very beginning of the planning process right through to the big day, the entire team was incredibly helpful, professional, and genuinely caring.
The food was absolutely delicious, every guest commented on how great everything tasted. The setup was beautiful, and they took so much off our plate by helping with the setup of the decor and organization. What really stood out was the level of care and personal touch. At the end of the event, they even helped carry the mom-to-be’s gifts to her car – such a thoughtful gesture that really meant a lot.
A huge thank you to our wonderful waiter, Erin, who was attentive and kind throughout the day, and to Jono, the manager, who made sure everything ran smoothly. The whole team went above and beyond to make the day perfect.
If you’re looking for a venue that combines great food, amazing service, and heartfelt hospitality: The Pottery is it. Highly, highly recommend!

Decided to take my mom out for a nice day to show my appreciation, and we’ve both been wanting to go to The Pottery.
The service was not the best, at first we struggled to get someone to assist us. Later on, our waitress walked past us on multiple occasions while our drinks were empty, but that happens- no problem.
They had a big selection of drinks and food, so we didn’t mind waiting a bit.
Fast forward to the food
My food arrives and it’s not the complete order, I received a portion of my meal and by the time she came back so that I can ask if she perhaps forgot about the rest, my food was already cold.
She brings the rest of my order, I start eating, only to find out the chicken strips in my bowl are completely raw on the inside.
She takes it back and they give me the same bowl of food that was touched by raw chicken, with some cooked chicken added.
The place has a good atmosphere, regardless of our experience. We enjoyed our drinks and the people are kind. Wouldn’t necessarily recommend the food.
The Pottery in George is such a hidden gem! The moment we walked in, we were blown away by the atmosphere and décor, it’s absolutely next level, with such a creative and welcoming feel. Even though we didn’t have food this time, the service was incredibly quick, friendly, and attentive, which really made the experience stand out. It’s one of those places where you can just relax, enjoy the surroundings, and soak in the charm. We’ll definitely be going back soon, and next time we’ll be sure to try the food too! Highly recommended for anyone visiting George who loves great service and stunning interiors.
A relaxing and spacious atmosphere with a wonderful play area for the children. Unfortunately at least 2 of our items were brought and had to be taken back because the order was wrong. The shakshuka was enjoyed by all, but my friend wished there could be more bread. The potter's breakfast was spur-level fine but I left feeling hungry which was disappointing for the price.
Had a great lunch while I was visiting a friend in George, such a beautiful place and my 18 month old had an absolute ball! Will definitely be back when we visit again!

You can enjoy the restaurant here, which is beautiful and upbeat, or you can eat while painting ur chosen pottery piece!

Everyone was extremely inviting, easy to talk to, and friendly, especially our waiter. The food was great, and drinks were GREAT. Please try the white chocolate hot chocolate if ur a sweet tooth 😇💫

after my previous, highly impressive visit to The Pottery, I had no choice but to return - the chicken tacos were calling my name, and who was I to deny their summons? However, this tale is not merely one of tacos, but of Jarrett, the hero who bore them to our table. This was no ordinary man, but a patron saint of hospitality, a creature of naught but patience and mirth. He fought off the cold and miserable weather of that morning with his offerings of easy laughter and warm company. Raise a glass, fellow folk, to the man (JARRETT) who turned a meal into a memory. Long may he reign, and long may the tacos flow.

Stopped by to grab pizza this evening. Once home I discovered the something meaty pizza I ordered was plain cheese. By then it was too late to return. Not sure if they made the wrong thing or gave me someone else's order.

Stood at the counter for 10 minutes with the cashier walking past me before I was able to get her attention to tell her I wanted to order. The Debionairs is also not located where the Google map shows it is. It is actually located next to the Steers.
PATHETIC PLACE
Cold pizza because it took over 40 minutes to deliver because they got "lost". Box is messed up, pizza is stuck to the box and the delivery man had to pull various crumbled up receipts out of his pocket before he found ours. Guys name is Ramsey. Thanks to all your service, we will NEVER be ordering again.
I ordered on the Mr D App last night.
My order included extra toppings which I obviously paid for. Paid deliver fee as well as driver tip. When I got home this morning from work, I discovered that the order did not include all ingredients I paid for. This is my first time ordering on the Mr D App. I usually collect myself. I couldn't this time (at work) and needed this for my family at home. I am not happy as I paid nearly 40% extra for insufficient product delivery.
Ordered a Half and Half, something meaty and club pizza. Got a something meaty and a Hawaiian. Called the branch's number, you get the call centre, the call centre then tries to transfer you, you get "extension 587 is unavailable at this time". Tried calling 5 times in a row and was transferred 5 times unsuccessfully.
The pizza was nice and hot when I got it. Young Andiswa at the paypoint very friendly. My pizza was ready when I walked in after ordering on the Debonairs App. Nice experience. For those with disabilities they have a good disability toilet with the right height especially for those those things like Cauda Equina, Spinale Stenosis and so on...cannot have knees higher than hips...so that is good for Debonairs.
Will visit them again.

Really like your Chef, Bruce, we had a wonderful experience at the restaurant because of him mainly and he looked after us. He recommended the ribs and then prepared them himself!! Waiters need training though and the manager was really snooty.
Fun place to hang out. Bowling, pool, arcade, chilled fireplace - and drinks available for while you do any of those.

This pizza restaurant, Domino's Pizza George (Closed), has made significant progress since its first review. The overall service has improved, with an owner who actively works to resolve issues. Although there are still occasional problems with service and order accuracy, I would recommend trying out this branch, especially during their promotions for new customers. The quality of the pizza is surprisingly high, resembling authentic Italian cuisine. The ingredients are fresh, the cheese is delicious, and the overall taste is excellent.
Good pizzas every time for this family of five. We've never had issues with the staff, the orders, or the quality of the food. As Americans living 45 minutes from George, this little taste of the USA is an occasional treat and the prices and SMS specials are very reasonable.

This branch has come a long way since I wrote my first review. The service overall has improved and having an owner who is interested in trying to fix the problems is always a great breath of fresh air. There are still a few hiccups with service and getting orders right, however I would still recommend Domino's George, especially during their specials for new clients wanting to try them out.
I was honestly shocked at the quality of the pizza! It feels like you are eating authentic Italian pizza! Fresh ingredients, yummy cheese and just all round great pizza! You won't catch me at Debonairs ever again aglfter having Domino's amazing pizza! I always get the bacon and mushroom pizza, it's to die for!
The Pizza is not bad but nothing to write home about. A good variety on the menu to choose from. The staff are not always friendly and helpful. They do however offer great monthly specials which i feel is value for money. Delivery option is available.

Wonderful service and fast delivery the first time I placed a telephonic order.
But since I placed an order online I waited for over an hour for delivery to happen and when I phoned about it they had not processed the order, when it did arrive it was cold.
The second time I also ordered on line after an hour of waiting and was told the delivery was on its way. When the delivery arrived I was informed that he was the only person doing deliveries.
Not good service
Two weeks ago, I ordered 2 pizzas for delivery. After 2 hours, it was finally delivered. Cold. And without the additional toppings I asked for. The manager informed me, I would receive a discount on my next order. Just for me to phone last week, to place another order. No one was aware of my previous issue and the manager did not communicate the discount matter to the restaurant staff. Appalling service.
Domino's is a worldwide pizza kingdom, offering the most delicious and flavour filled (thick or thin base) pizzas daily, with some amazing specials and friendly staff. If you're in the area, give them a call, they also deliver.

I received Absolutely disgusting food from them. Clearly both the patty and chilli cheese was OLD. The chicken patty was chewy and dried out. On top of this they gave me the wrong drink!
Burger was great chips was not good. Soda fountain was more sugar than cool drink.
Lady at counter was looking bit confused when taking the order as 1 meal was for my daughter's boyfriend that was not with.

Absolute joke. Waited ages for cold food while many others in the store also complained. Lettuce on the burgers was soggy and rotten. They let us pay for drinks before informing us that the drinks machines were not working and that the best they could do was Pepsi Max from am already opened 2l bottle. I was quite disappointed with this last visit at BK. Usually the food and service is great, however, I ordered a fiery whopper meal with a shake. Firstly the shake was only 3/4 full and I asked for a strawberry, but they gave me a vanilla. I pointed this out to one of the workers, she just said that it looks like a vanilla but it is a strawberry. Then I tasted it, no it was vanilla. So I asked another worker. She took it and brought it back, exactly the same. Not fuller, no more strawberry flavour than it was. Then my burger was only lined with deep-fried onions along the side of the burger, probably 3 or 4 in total. And it's a BIG burger, I opened it and took a picture. At least the chips were fresh, but had no salt on them. Literally everything about my order was disappointing. I'm quite unhappy with the food and service I received here. What happened??
Saturday night my husband ordered a burger and on it was a piece of plastic, he is currently in a life threatening condition because of eating that burger. This branch is disgusting. The person who helped him was also rude. This branch lacks customer service in general and always takes ages as well as giving wrong orders. Do you have any idea what happens to someone who digests plastic? I will definitely let this be investigated what health inspector do you even use
The building is fairly modern. I went at a quite time so service was fine. I however had one of the worst burger king big meal burgers. It was tasteless and not fresh Felt I was eating cardboard
Staff has horrible manners and does not listen to your order when asking a question. The teller put my order through when i was asking a question about the menu and then blames me for their mistakes. The teller then speaks to the other staff member in a language i do not under stand and they both proceed to laugh at me.
The place was also very dirty.
This service is horrible and i will never go back there again.

Probably one of the worse experiences at a McD, wanted to pay cash but there was nobody at the till, they had to go and call the cashier, after that cashier gave me the wrong change and disappeared to the back,one of the other staff had to go and call her to give me correct change. Ordered cheeseburgers, first time ever that we got white cheese on our cheeseburgers, kids did not want to eat it, didn't taste the same...... total disaster.
I purchased two Grand Chicken Specials on Sunday, on 25th of Aug, in the morning. When I got home and started eating, I noticed that the taste was different from before. Upon checking, I found that the chicken was not properly cooked and was still raw inside. I immediately returned to the store to inform the staff. However, I was told that the manager was not available and that I would receive a call the next day. What upset me the most was that they made me wait for a long time, and not once did they apologize. I did not see even the most basic level of customer service.
To date, I have not received a call regarding my refund request or about the food. I cannot understand this, and I will never eat at McDonald's in South Africa again. I suffered from food poisoning for two days with symptoms of nausea, headache, and dizziness. Although I did not go to the hospital, I took digestive medicine, which improved my condition.
Very busy McDonalds. Staff are not the friendliest and I’ve been a few times and each time I’ve had the same experience. Not a lot of seating area which makes the noise level extremely loud, especially when there are groups of 3 or more people. I would go back, but I’d use the drive-through so as to avoid all that.
Staff were decent, the first ketchup we got was opened most of the McDonald’s points items weren’t available, and a lot of the items were out of stock either way.
I used the restroom and was very disappointed with the cleanliness. The urinal is blocked and the toilet was dirty. It looks like an appempt was made to clean it but it was still dirty.
I was welcomed by the most friendly staff today 13 may 2025 these ladies are incredible not sure on their names but both the ladies at both windows were amazing. And that you for the great service

I had a fantastic experience at The Apple Crate farmstall! The roosterkoek was absolutely delicious—perfectly baked . They also had an impressive selection of fresh fruits and the range of snacks and cold cooldrinks was perfect for a warm day, offering everything you need to relax and recharge. The service was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even more special. Plus, the shaded seating area, surrounded by breathtaking scenery between the mountains, created the perfect atmosphere for a peaceful picnic. A true hidden gem for anyone looking to enjoy great food, refreshing drinks, and stunning views! Highly recommended!

A very welcome site in the midst of long periods of travel on the road.
We got some delish coffee - I asked for a super strong coffee for my husband, which was accommodated with a chuckle. Snacks were available. Such friendly help and also a place to sit and eat if you want.
The toilet signage was a highlight 😂 it was marvellous and clean too.
We stopped over for a quick leg stretch and was met with such welcoming smiles by the owner. There were plenty of tempting snacks and fruit for sale at the stall. The Vetkoek & Jam was very tasty indeed.
It's definitely a great idea to stop over here if you in the area.

Stopped for coffee and ended up buying way more. Enroute to St Francis after completing the Leopard trail this farmstall is a must stop. Interesting to see an enormous apple being sliced. Watch the video!
