Gladys Café is a hidden gem located in the bustling tourist area of Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas. Tucked away in the Royal Dane Mall, this charming eatery offers refined Caribbean specialties within 18th-century native stone walls. Guests can savor dishes like conch fritters, jerk fish, and avocado stuffed with lobster salad while enjoying Gladys' homemade hot sauce and occasional impromptu singing performances.
Excellent service, the stewed chicken was THE best. coconut rum cake is so good. We sat at the bar and somehow our banana Bailey's colada kept getting topped off!

Gladys’ Cafe is a cozy, family-owned spot tucked off Main Street. We stopped in for a quick breakfast while waiting for nearby stores to open. I had the 2-egg breakfast plate along with a Bahama Mama—simple, tasty, and reasonably priced. The next day, we originally planned to try a different restaurant, but it was closed—so back to Gladys’ we went. This time, I ordered the Oxtail Special. It was definitely good, but at $36 (as you’ll see in the photo below), it felt a bit overpriced. Overall, the food and atmosphere were enjoyable. It’s a great local option in a central location. Will I be back? Yes good food, solid vibes.
SAJ U — Google review
Gladys’ is our go-to breakfast spot whenever we’re in the VI! Unfortunately, we missed breakfast this time (island time got us 😅), but the food was still absolutely delicious. The only small letdown was the “spicy wings” — they were well-seasoned but definitely milder than expected. I was hoping for a real kick, but they seemed more tailored to the American palate. That said, everything else we ordered was fantastic. It always feels like an adventure heading into Gladys — the walkway lined with lush plants is just beautiful and sets the perfect island vibe. Still one of our favorite spots on the island!
Maurissa D — Google review
Cute spot and opened on Sundays! Waitress wasn’t too familiar with the menu or food but he was great and had a positive attitude. Food came quick. I ordered the Cesar salad and it was delicious! The soups were blah. Had better and this taste canned. Coffee wasn’t good either.
Cya V — Google review
Unfortunately, I did not read the reviews until after my experience at the restaurant. I must say that the path leading to the restaurant is beautiful, absolutely picturesque. Seeing the atmosphere and walking through the alleyway on Sunday morning, I had high hopes for brunch at Gladys'. Yet, my hopes were quickly dashed due to the long wait for order taking, extremely rude Server, and nonexistent customer service. The server notified us that they were short staffed and she was performing multiple job responsibilities. She told us to hurry up and order and looked annoyed when we asked questions about the menu options. She asked us to be patient about the wait, but had no patience whatsoever for us. When our drinks were brought to the table, she informed us that one person's order wasn't available-no cranberry juice. We still felt the disregard and disrespect from earlier and decided to pay for our drinks, cancel our food order and leave. It's a shame they have someone so mean, rude and severely lacking in proper etiquette to represent this restaurant. I hope the owner reads this or someone who cares about that business reads it so they can make a positive change. The offender is near the beverage machine wearing all black clothes and pink crocs. I don't pay people to treat me poorly and we quickly left and went to Indigo 4 for a fantastic brunch and excellent customer service with a smile .
Rose M — Google review
I was so excited to try Glady's Cafe but it was not what I expected after the hype. The protein (curry chicken and steak) were good. The other items on our plate was just ok.. the sides lacked flavor.I wouldn't say it was the best I've ever had. The service was ordinary as was the atmosphere.
Sherika S — Google review
The food was not worth it. Minimal seasoning and taste. I’ve had better curry and oxtails in the states. They closed at 3:30pm and we were waiting on our ride which came at 3:32 and they kicked us out and the lady was very mean and nonchalant about it. I would not recommend this place and for $36 I’m extremely disappointed in the oxtails. The curry goat did not taste authentic… everything was an extreme disappointment.
Kha'Breah R — Google review
Location and atmosphere are island in this cool, brick building. We had conch fritters, jerked chicken wings, stewed chicken, curry chicken, oxtail special, plantains, mahi mahi sandwich. We also sampled a few cocktails that were ok: pina colada, painkiller, and banana bailey coconut.

Bar & grill
Skinny Legs is a popular bar and grill located in Coral Bay, St John. It's known for its laid-back and funky vibe, combining a restaurant with a retail store. The menu features fresh salads, mouth-watering burgers, sandwiches, and homemade chili. Notably, they serve burgers with chips instead of fries to minimize environmental impact. Additionally, they offer daily specials and tropical drinks alongside cold beer.
So our Skinny Legs trip was kind of an accident – we drove all the way over to Salt Pond Beach b/c it was raining in Cruz Bay and we were told the “dry” side of the island is always better when that happened. It was raining harder at Salt Pond by the time we got there! So rather than trek down a muddy trail and sit in the rain, we backtracked for lunch at Skinny Legs. We weren’t the only ones with that idea; the place was heaving. Fortunately they have a lot of parking, we kind of wedged our jeep between two boat trailers in the harbor parking lot next door. After tracking down the guy who had the waitlist (turned out to be the owner!) we tucked ourselves away in a corner of the bar with a couple of beers and waited for our table. As we watched the staff bob and weave through the hectic crowd, it occurred to me that they all seemed to have really good attitudes for being as busy as they were. The bartender always delivered our beers with an unhurried smile, even though he had a stack of drink orders. The waitstaff very politely excused themselves as they zipped around the space. It was really impressive. We finally sat down after about a half-hour wait (which is what we were quoted). The service continued to be friendly and relaxed, and the burgers were ah-may-zing! Very happy the weather gave us an excuse to try Skinny Legs; it will be definitely be on our must-visit list next time we’re in St. John.
Ray G — Google review
YOU HAVE TO GO HERE WHILE IN ST. JOHN. You won't regret it!!! My father-in-law recommended this place, and we actually showed up on a day they were closed, and decided to go back on a different day during our trip. The drive was 10000% worth it!! I went in thinking burgers are burgers, but I was wrong. I got the raspberry colada and it's my favorite drink now. Hands down. I also ordered the special burger of the day, which had pepper jack cheese, grilled pineapple, and mango chutney on it. My family's been planning to recreate this since our visit. The atmosphere is great, with little chickens running around. We also went to the gift shop attached to the restaurant and got some merch while we waited for the food. Will definitely revisit when we're back in paradise and bring a flag or license plate to leave our mark!
Kelly J — Google review
This is a great local bar/pub with a lively laid back atmosphere. Theres a few TV’s around the bar area, plenty of tables too. Theres food looked terrific & drinks were not only well priced but darn good. There’s a wonderful store attached to Skinny Legs & the owner is wonderful. There’s prices are excellent for St John clothing & jewelry. Probably the best prices by far of anyplace I’ve been to on the island of St. John. There’s parking in the front (store a few steps down) and parking in the read (pub area).
Lisa B — Google review
So nice we went twice! We made two separate trips during our vacation and both times we tried the drinks of the day and the special burger of the day, both were always exceptional! The open air atmosphere gives island vibes and feels like your favorite dive bar. Chips are standard fare ruffles and tend to be a little soggy (humidity maybe?) but the burgers are always great!
Eric B — Google review
We stopped in for dinner on a Tuesday night. Seated immediately. Service was great. I had chicken sandwich and Rum Punch. She had Mahi Mahi with no bun and Painkiller. Both were standard for the island. Great atmosphere. Lots of parking. Large gift shop.
Pat B — Google review
Great atmosphere, very beachy. Service was iffy and slightly unattentive, the mahi mahi was over cooked and lacked any flavor. Chili dog was good and nightly special burger was good. Drinks were delicious. Over all we would rate it mid
Rick B — Google review
Look, is it the greatest burger you’ve ever had? Probably not, but it’s a solid 8/10. You’re here for the company, the vibes, and the fact that a place in Coral Bay has existed since the 90s. Bring a flag/pennant of your college, it’s probably already here but in case it’s not, you’d feel great for putting it up on the wall.
Paul M — Google review
We had such a fun time at the beach yesterday and today. Skinny legs had a great burger that hit the spot. The store was great too. We got a few shirts and magnets that were fun and unique. Yes it’s a dive bar, but it’s a great sport to grab a beer and bite.

Amalia Café Restaurant is a charming open-air eatery in Charlotte Amalie, offering a delightful selection of tapas and classic Spanish dishes. The restaurant provides a sunny and atmospheric dining experience, making it an ideal spot to enjoy delicious food and wine. With its sophisticated yet affordable dining options, Amalia Café Restaurant stands out as a must-visit destination in the area. Additionally, the restaurant's sister-owned establishment, Surf and Turf, offers an inclusive menu featuring both meat-based and vegan options.
Manuel (Manny) was the perfect host for our wonderful dinner! He was very informative of not only the menu but also the local area. We started with red sangria— very good! The specials were so tempting, I didn’t even look closely at the menu; I knew exactly what I wanted. The grilled red snapper served over gnocchi and spinach was perfection. A friend ordered the paella while my husband had the snapper, as well. We made sure to save room for dessert which did not disappoint. I had the mango cheesecake, my husband had the bread pudding, our dinner mate ordered the sorbet. Can’t wait to go again to tackle the other yummy sounding dishes on the menu. Truly an incredible combination of originality (food) and friendliness (servers).
Carmen C — Google review
Food and service were both great. We sat outside where our waiter greeted us with a great big smile. Only wish it was tapas style because the entries portions where to big to order for lunch time of day.
Dietmar D — Google review
We walked in without a reservation but our greeter kindly fixed up a side table for us immediately. It was not an ideal spot But, the food and service were really Outstanding! We ordered the grilled Octopus which I will never ever forget how good it was. We also ordered the stuffed lobster along with the Spanish Paella Valenciana and an amazing house salad. Excellent place! ✌🏼🤩❤️🦞

We had Cara as our waitress and omg we cannot say enough good things about her. She was knowledgeable in not only the food choices but also the wine selection. She recommended dishes to us but was never pushy and overall just a great listener. She was enthusiastic in the food they serve. It’s so hard now days to meet wait staff who care and are thrilled for you in trying their food. She made the meal even more enjoyable.
Ling B — Google review
CARA IS AMAZING! We ordered so much food and all of it was delicious! The stuffed lobster was beautiful. The lamb chops were scrumptious. The paella was perfection. The serve the freshest sangria I’ve ever tasted. Fresh bread, great salad. The perfect experience
Larayna G — Google review
The food and atmosphere are great, service was amazing as well. We went for a special date night and I thoroughly enjoyed the romantic atmosphere. My boyfriend and I split a handful of tapas including the escargot, octopus, mussels, and got a nice Caesar salad as well. The affogato and espresso martinis were great for dessert. We will definitely be back!
Taylor N — Google review
This is our second time coming here, and we have never been disappointed by the food or service. The wife had the seafood pasta, which, by the way, is not on the menu, but the chef will make it if you ask nicely, and I had the ribeye steak. Both meals were very satisfying and a treat. Our waitress was excellent and very attentive. We never had to ask for more water or wine in our glass. This place has some of the best food and service I've ever experienced and will always visit when in St. Thomas.

Beautiful little spot off main with all outdoor seating. Excellent service and absolutely delicious food. The ceviche was incredible. Red snapper was perfect and the crab stuffed lobster superb. Our favorite meal of the entire week.

Sushi restaurant
Buddha Sushi Lounge & Grill is a chic and modern restaurant located near Red Hook on the island of St. Thomas. It offers a unique dining experience that blends Japanese culinary traditions with Caribbean influences. The restaurant boasts a stylish ambiance with contemporary decor, including intricate artwork and ambient lighting. Guests can indulge in the art of sushi-making while savoring innovative flavor combinations, making it a hidden gem for those seeking an unforgettable dining experience in the area.
I hate to leave reviews. I only do if I want to save someone else trouble or if my experience was worthy of bothering others with. Well, I came here once at the suggestion of a friend, and now I come every time I am here. Personally, my favorite is the Buddha Sushi roll. I left a pic. There are so many flavors that truly hit your taste buds one at a time and are not all mashed together. 6 times I have eaten it and all times are great. The owner/top chef is a culinary artist, and it shows. He has own several food awards. The building has always been clean, and the waitstaff (my favorite is Faye) are very respectful and helpful with suggestions. Lastly; MUST TRY soursop sherbet! I hear that Taj makes it himself, and the flavors finish off any palette.

Omg! My friends and I love sushi. We're very picky about it too. Good is hands down some of the best sushi I've ever had and I've been to Japan! The waiters were lovely as well! There was a mix of live music and Taj DJing. So fun! We decided that while on this trip, if we can't decide on what to eat, we're coming back here lol We had fried rice, the saltfish pate, a Philly, a California, the cricket and the volcano roll! All fabulous! The fried rice was unlike anything we'd had before! The only thing that was slightly amiss were the drinks but we literally don't care because the sushi was so freaking good!!!
Micha M — Google review
Went here last night. Nice atmosphere. Open, but some privacy in the booths. Wait staff was very nice and helpful with the menu and specials. My fiancé had teriyaki chicken ( which was excellent, flavors spot-on!). I had one of the sushi specials. Smooth Kriminal. Food was phenomenal. Presentation was awesome. Staff were very friendly. It’s a great place to celebrate a special occasion or if you’re just in the mood for some great Asian food. We’ll definitely be coming back!
Brian V — Google review
Super good but SUPER SLOW service also very expensive. The food is excellent but prepare yourself for a 3 hour dinner. I am not sure why it takes so long as it has never been busy when I’ve gone. I would 11/10 recommend the oyster appetizer- so freaking good. Their presentations are nice with the sauce writing for the name of the sushi rolls. Fish tastes very fresh. They have a large menu so everyone can find something they like. Staff is also very nice just need to figure out how to make their service faster!!!!!
Claire M — Google review
From the moment we walked in we experienced such welcoming hospitality, but the amazing experience we had didn’t stop there. The atmosphere here is a huge vibe, with moody lighting, comfortable booths stocked with fluffy pillows, lovely coy fish pond, and beautiful live music to complete the ambiance. Now to the food. We started our meal with the sushi pizza, recommended by our wonderful server which was delicious. Following that we ordered 3 different rolls all of which were amazing in their own ways. Finally we had dessert which was very tasty and the chef brought us a complimentary sorbet to try which was made in house and that too was lovely.
Lana C — Google review
Buddah Sushi hit the spot. It was the 1st place we ate at when we got to the island. The owner was super cool and hung out with us for a bit. Our waitress made you feel like family. I was there with my 2 nieces (15 and 17). We're vegan and loved everything we ate!
Justin C — Google review
Buddha Sushi Lounge is by far one of our favorite restaurants on the island. The sushi is absolutely incredible, and the chicken wings appetizer is a must-try! The service is always fantastic, and we make it a point to dine here every time we visit St. Thomas. It’s a family favorite and wonderfully welcoming for all ages.
Kerri L — Google review
Fresh sushi served daily! Had a great experience w my wife and her friends. Drinks were on point and the service was outta this world nice 💯 The spicy sushi rolls were on point; spice was very authentic! The calamari had great taste and the sweet chili sauce was great to dip it in 👌🏾 I really loved the Fire Snapper and Parrot Fish rolls. Outstanding experience ✊🏾

Perched high above Charlotte Amalie harbor, Mafolie Restaurant offers a romantic dining experience with breathtaking panoramic views. The menu features a blend of Caribbean and international flavors, including kallaloo soup, chicken with mango and chili, and seafood jambalaya. Diners can savor tropical side dishes like fried plantain and sweet potato-coconut dumplings.
Wow!!! Mafolie was amazing not only for the views but the absolutely delicious cuisine! The appetizers, main course and dessert all excellent. Very friendly service as well! Don't leave St. Thomas without a visit to this restaurant!

We had an amazing meal here with friends! The Cornish game hen was amazing and the catch of the day looked great! The highlight for me was the Hearts of Palm ceviche. I've never had anything like it before!
Rob L — Google review
Mafolie restaurant is easy to miss. When driving on the windy stretch it comes off as a small motel and nothing more. If you want to really experience a beautiful view and have a nice meal, find a parking spot and stop in. There are stairs on the side with signs telling you where to go. Seating in this place is abundant and wherever you go you will have a nice view, arrive early and you may get a seat next to the balcony edge. We happened to have dinner right before sunset and left after all the city lights were illuminating. It was absolutely beautiful. We were also greeted by two very beautiful feline friends who stay on premise. Please note they are fed daily and are considered pets, but they will come to you for some petting.

I originally made a reservation through an app and the app cancelled it (I believe it was the tail end of the virus spike). A couple of days later I receive a phone call from the restaurant asking if we still wanted to dine here. Yeah! So we made our reservation. I thought that was excellent customer service to call me back. First of all, the views here are everything. Try to book at sunset, it’s absolutely stunning. We had the pleasure of meeting Darcy who was our waitress for the evening. She was awesome and even offered us a complimentary glass of champagne to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We enjoyed the Mango Avocado Salad, Crab Cake Steak, Conch Fritters, Lobster and Lobster Bisque. The entire evening was absolutely lovely. I’m so glad they called us to reserve.
Ali B — Google review
Nice people with great service, delicious food and excellent view ( note there is no sunset view). The best place to try local dishes, I had the local soup (seafood kallaloo, strong taste and very different flavor, I really liked it) with fungi(!). For drink I ordered a juice of a local flower ( it was red and slightly sweet, but I don’t remember its name). They didn’t have local desserts :( , but raspberry white chocolate key lime pie did it for me.
T T — Google review
We had the fresh grouper preceded by a house salad and sun dried tomato focaccia - all of which was outstanding! Our server, Toovin, was super friendly and the views can’t be beat! This was one of the best meals we have had in a week in US and BVI.
Shawn S — Google review
Made reservations and requested a table by the railing for the views of the harbor and that’s exactly what we got! Views are awesome. We watched the cruise ships sail away while having dinner. The place was maybe half full. The young man that took care of us was very nice and personable. We ordered our drinks which came out promptly. Ordered conch fritters. You get 6 of them. Came out after maybe 15 minutes, they were hot out of the fryer and very good. Highly recommend. We ordered the mains with the fritters. The mains came out about 45 minutes after we finished the fritters. Not a problem, we wanted to have a relaxing dinner. Though the table next to us was a family gathering with loud and sometimes crying baby, we just tried to tune it out. Food came out together, my curry short rib was not hot anymore, probably been plated for a while, but the other 2 were hot and well prepared. Snapper and beef brisket was cooked as requested. So I’d give the food 5 stars. What I’ve discovered about curry on the island from eating from 3 different places is that it’s very, very subtle curry flavor and not at all spicy. But still good, just not what I expected. The mains were good portions so with the fritters we were full and didn’t want dessert. Drinks were very good also. Overall, very good food and experience. Parking might be an issue during busy evenings.

Nestled unexpectedly in the heart of a parking lot, Duffy's Love Shack stands out as a vibrant tiki bar that has been captivating visitors for 30 years. This lively hotspot in Red Hook Plaza boasts charming island-inspired decor, complete with thatched awnings and a bamboo bar. Guests can indulge in an array of unique drinks served in everything from fresh coconuts to quirky race car cups. The atmosphere is electric, especially during the daily happy hour from 3 to 7 p.m.
This place never disappoints. I have never had a bad time here. But I am writing this review because the last time was especially special. The food was delicious! I cannot recommend that jerk chicken sandwich enough. I even was able to share it because it wasn't spicy. Great job. But Stephanie our server was incredible. She went above and beyond and really made this an experience to remember.

We had a great experience at Duffy’s. The grouper was so tasty and a huge portion, and I even had some to take back to my cats at the resort. The music was great and our server was very friendly and attentive. It was pretty empty (Tuesday afternoon in September) so there was plenty of seating. The breeze was awesome; the chickens/roosters were entertaining; and our kids will be thrilled with the souvenir cups we bring home!
Andrea N — Google review
We had such a great experience at Duffys! Great service, great atmosphere, great food in the most unlikely of places, a parking lot in a strip mall. We were traveling on a cruise and had a parasailing day at Sapphire beach (also highly recommend). When we were done, we asked someone where we could go to go shopping and get some food, at first she told us just go back the cruise shops. We then mentioned we'd really like some conch fritters, she then immediately came back with, "Duffy's! Go to Duffy's" So we take a taxi from Saphire Beach to Duffys ($6 per person) and we stop in the parking lot in the strip mall. We are looking all over the strip mall and cannot find this restaurant and then we turn around and see this little shack in this already small parking lot, but don't let that deter you, really it just positively adds to the experience. They have menus that are on small pieces of bamboo that can double as a fan(fun). The atmosphere is just what you'd want from an island bar and grill. There was great local art and chickens literally walking around. Prices were reasonable, not cheap, but for island prices really not bad. Drink prices, great! You can get a shot and get to keep the shot glass for less than a shot glass at the neighboring gift shop. Also, we like to collect logo'd bar cups and these came with our beverages. We got the "Caribbean PuPu platter". It came out in sections with the most delicious fried foods and to top it off a little mini grill to grill our pineapple on. This was my favorite, little thing. I cant say enough great things about all of the little things. The staff was EXCELLENT! Andy took such great care of us with a smile on his face and thew in a few jokes here and there. Duffy's also had shirts at a great price with what also seems to be reprints of local art, we loved these shirts and were able to secure 4 of them for less than the neighboring stores and it was just a reminder of what a great time we had there. Thank you Andy and the rest of the staff for such a memorable experience. If we are ever in St. Thomas again, this will be the first place we stop! I highly recommend Duffy's! It was the hidden gem after our trip to Sapphire Beach!

We got married in St Thomas in 2023 We picked Duffys as a gathering place for all our wedding guest it was around 40 people. The staff was above and beyond ..drinks kept coming the atmosphere was live and hype...I had the Polynesian Pupu platter(may be spelling it wrong lol) but alot of our guest followed suit it was one of the best things on the menu ..I highly reccommend it!! Honestly I was so buzzed from the excellent drinks I cant remember any staff names...but this is a must do when you visit STT or even a local!! matter of fact my wife and I are here in STT for our 2 year anniversary...I think we will drop by!!!! It intresting that its called the "love shack" we certainly fell in love with it!!!......Sooooo part 2 today Oct 7 2025. We decided to pay the love shack a visit...my how times change...We walked in sat a a table looked at the menus...and NO ONE, NOT A SINGLE EMPLOYEE, acknowledged us, PERIOD!! I went with such high expectations excited to relive our wedding experience and to tell the staff what an awesome time we had...But again that was short lived...We walked out (not noticed) the same as when we walked in...No Love at this "Love Shack" pun intended...I will just say this ...if you are a brown or black person..just keep it moving...even if you go with a crowd and the act pleased to see you...they arent!....sad sad sad times we are living in...And yes all my 5 star ratings were reduced to 1 and none....Like a wise man once told me..A good name is won by many acts...but can be lost by one!!!

This place is set up like a tiki bar in a parking lot, but has small tables with bar stools for seating too. Their cocktail menu is full of crazy drinks. Order the shark tank. (Don't worry. You can share it). The food is done in a fun way. We ordered fried shrimp, jerk chicken nachos, and the Polynesian Pu-Pu (this comes with a miniature fire pot to sear the foods that come on this plate, such as steak and rum-soaked pineapple). It's loud here, with either live music or classic rock/beach music.

There's nothing I don't love about Duffy's. We went twice on our trip because we loved it so much. Jaime was the absolute best and a sweet baby angel who deserves the world and a raise. I love everything about this place. The only thing I don't love is I don't have a Duffy's in Denver.

The Lime Inn is a Caribbean-inspired coastal kitchen located in St. John, USVI. It offers a tasting menu for dinner at $85 per person, featuring 2 small dishes. The restaurant is housed in an elegant two-story building and boasts an ambiance complemented by attentive staff and great food. While it's not situated on the waterfront, its overall experience compensates for the lack of a water view.
We were seated within a reasonable amount of time. The atmosphere was lively, but not so loud you couldn’t carry on a conversation. They offer an impressive variety of innovative tacos. Although I personally enjoyed the short rib quesadilla the most. The guacamole appetizer was really good, while the black bean dip was just okay. The frozen key lime dessert was a nice finish. They offer limited free parking, which is a plus. The lot on the corner charges $15 for two hours.

Amazing gourmet tacos! And the Hunter passion cocktail was perfect after a warm day. Incredible friendly people too especially Gemini the bartender (love her 🙂) and Jersey too. Just a really fun place with great food, casual atmosphere and again, friendly.

Made a visit to Lime Inn on St John on November 5th 2025. What a great place and great bartender named Tommy. Drinks were great and we had 2 tacos each. I can say the K Pop taco was great, but the Tuna Matata was absolutely my favorite.

Beautiful little place with high ceilings and a very comfortable breeze, even in the warm early evenings. 15+ different tacos. 5 different types of quesdillas. The guak is amazing. The black bean dip is amazing. Chips approach and taste as if they are freshly made in house. The Korean taco w grilled white corn shell is A MUST. Full bar. Generous Happy Hour. Friendly crowd. Festive but yiu can still talk w your table mates.

After a long day of beach hopping we came to this gem before taking the Car Barge back to St Thomas. Parking is hard in this area. This joint offers free parking to those who stop in for a drink or food. The drinks were amazing! Did I mention they have weekly happy hour specials? This time they had buy one, get one free drinks. I will def be back. Special shout out to Tommy!!! Bartender extraordinaire!!!!

Friendly owner & staff. Great service and food was brought out quickly ! The Virgin mango colata was amazing ! We came for the key lime pie and they put their own twist to it and it was by far the best dessert we have had on the islands ! Tacos and quesadillas were fabulous! We highly recommend this establishment for all the reasons !!!

Located on the waterfront at the Caravelle Hotel in Christiansted, Rum Runners is a popular restaurant known for its delicious food and fun atmosphere. The restaurant offers a variety of dishes made from locally sourced ingredients, including vegan lentil balls with passion fruit dipping sauce and papaya lemonade. For those looking to indulge, Rum Runners serves up conch fritters and rum cake doused with local Cruzan Rum.
Excellent little spot right on the boardwalk. View was great, right on the water. Nice chill vibe with music (but not too loud - you could definitely hear each other). A little crab walked by our table. Umbrella tables have a little light to help illuminate the table. Standard menu, but they have daily specials. Drink menu was extensive and well rounded. They have multiple desserts as well. I got the daily Catch - pan seared Mahi with lemon caper sauce - it was phenomenal! The family got shrimp & crab spaghetti, fish tacos, and fish & chips. All were great. We also got dessert - rum cake and twisted pecan pie - also phenomenal!

I would recommend this restaurant for dining. The food was good and the service was also good. The staff is friendly. Breakfast ends pretty early (10:00) so get there early. The pancakes are delicious and I also enjoyed the seafood pasta special for dinner. My husband and I visited a few times during our stay. They also have very good chocolate cake if you’re in the mood for a desert. The view and overall atmosphere is amazing.

This place has a great location and was gorgeous at sunset. They have a kids menu which was a plus. We wanted the dinner rolls but they were waiting on bread to rise still so we couldn’t get those. The chicken wings were good. Calamari was average. We ordered a variety of food off the menu and everyone was satisfied but not blown away. Portions were pretty good. Price is expensive for what it is. They were busy while we were there and best we could tell they only have two servers. Nice thing was bartender and another member of the staff were helping so the waits weren’t bad at all for ordering, drinks, or food. When we were leaving the server spilled a drink on me. I probably should’ve been offered some form of compensation for that but wasn’t.

The atmosphere is amazing right on the boardwalk/pier. The Food was at best Average but definitely nothing to write home about. Our server Ben was super fast and extremely knowledgeable on everything. Wouldn’t go out of my way but for a night or drink at a present location this is a great spot.one big down side is they don’t start serving dinner until 5:30.

A dive bar find. Extremely low expectations that were blown away. The WVA server was really prompt and made great recommendations. An Indian type onion app was delicious!! The fresh tuna with cream sauce was amazing. The tuna was incredibly fresh and cooked perfectly. The vegan gnocchi was chock full of vegetables really well prepared. The crème brûlée cheesecake was a nice touch. Definitely worth going.

So good, we came here twice on our 7 day trip!! Simple, straight forward paper and pencil menu that you fill out yourself. All the options you could need to add to your burger. I love a good burger, and would have definitely come here every day if I could have. The prices can’t be beat for the area and the delicious food you receive.

A staple in the Virgin island as the locals told us it's a much needed stop . So we did. Burger and fries are good, slightly unseasoned but definitely fresh, fries are great . Service impeccable, our server made our boat very enjoyable and by the vibe of the room, we weren't the only ones. The room had the beach feel, open door concept with high volume traffic coming in and out. That says it all, job well done,🤙 we even hit up your Sy John location it's wa so memorable . Thank you

I'll give 5 stars which I don't normally give. Everything has to be perfect to get 5 stars, and it was. The food was great. I had a bacon cheeseburger with eggs on it. Amazing. The drinks are jaw dropping. Best drinks I have ever had anywhere in my life. Not sure if that's just how it is on STT or how it is at Tap & Still, but the bar has been set extremely high. Painkiller. Get one. Or two. The atmosphere is so chill. Good vibes. They had 2 bartenders, a girl and a guy. Guy grew up 2 towns away from me in Connecticut. The prices were good. Cost $100 for 2 people to eat till we were full and have 4 drinks and left a big tip. We will attempt to stop back before our trip is over.

Food is completly mediocre even when tipsy or drunk. Def a place to come and hang out. Outside and inside dinning and pick up and go as well. Wings taste old and too oily and same with fries. Stopped here because it was the only place near by with wings. Customer service is good and atmosphere is great.

Loved our food here. We were starving and the double cheeseburger still pushed my limits to finish it. The fresh fries were hot and crispy and you could tell the oil they were fried in was fresh. Love being able to just add the toppings I like to the burger.

Amazing service, incredible kitchen, fresh draft beer; what else do you need? There’s seating inside and outside, the ceiling is high and mighty, and so am I. A special nod to Robin, who is fast, efficient, witty, and very easy on the eyes. Tell your friends and neighbors.

This place was great. I had one of the best cheeseburger in a long time. My friend was head over heels about the hand cut fries. Really have to say the highlight was the hospitality of the staff there. We had a nightmare of a commute to the island, but the two servers were very friendly and made us feel welcome. Thank you to you both and your chefs in the back 😊

We came in for dinner Monday at 8. We entered the restaurant and sit at the hostess station for assault at five minutes. The bar was very crowded and no one acknowledged us until the hostess came out from the back. At least 3 staff saw us and were within speaking distance but said nothing. I was ready to leave at that point. However, the hostess came out of the bag just then, so we decided to give it a shot. There were two seats at the bar, so we took those. I ordered a Margarita and the boyfriend order an ultra; however, the island was out of ultra, so he drank a corona. We decided just to order a couple of appetizers so that we could visit another restaurant on the island and sample their food. It took a good solid five minutes before the bartender, who was within touching distance acknowledged us. We play star, drink orders and received them about ten minutes later. At that time, she also took our food order. We ordered the tomato bruschetta and the Boom boom shrimp. They both came out absolutely delicious. They were perfectly cooked. The shrimp was hot.The bruschetta was fresh, bread was crisp. Still a little bit disappointed that we were not acknowledged when we came in. Maybe this is just a really laid back place where they you live by the philosophy of island time.

My wife and I ordered togo on a Sunday night. The receptionist wasn’t the most hospitable or welcoming. We placed our order and she said the food would be ready in 25 minutes. We strolled the block while we waited and when we returned we were told it will take an additional 30 minutes for our food to be ready. This was not a major issue for us and we were highly anticipating the food to redeem this (minor) inconvenience. We spent $90+ on the most mediocre food ever. The shrimp pasta was dry and sad. It lacked sauce, any flavor, and well…shrimp. It was just an oily mess. The pot pie (which was advertised as an speciality entree) was tiny and bland. The garlic bread was stale and tasteless. We were expecting some amazing food from these reviews but this food was worse quality than what could be found at a cheap all inclusive resort. Unfortunately, this goes down as one of the most disappointing meals of our lives.

The food was delicious, way better than I expected. The tofu linguine was great.

Hidden gem I’d say! Food here is super good. Definitely a local feel. I was sat at the bar even though there were many open tables that were empty the entire time my friends and I were there so not sure why that was. The oyster appetizer was a nice large portion. Plantains were so freaking good. So sweet and cooked perfectly. Food came out quick which was nice. On the pricier side for sure. This place definitely isn’t appealing from the outside but go inside and give it a try!!
Claire M — Google review
Visited this restaurant last night for a birthday dinner after a previous good experience years ago. Boy have things gone down hill…let’s start with the fact the only employee who truly seemed semi happy was the host, who was doing way more than hosting. The two bartenders were the servers, which would be fine if the place was slow but it was not. One of the two bartender/servers had flip flops on with an ankle brace. She absolutely hated her life and made it very clear when having to come from behind the bar to server the tables. Why she was the one serving tables while hopping around and the other who wasn’t injured stayed behind the bar the entire time is beyond me. Next is the food: ordered two meats, medium well, both arrived well done. As well as a shrimp linguini pasta in a white wine garlic sauce that literally tasted like seafood juices and white wine, very runny and not at all what a white wine sauce should have been. The app was good but that’s about all the place had going for it. Will not return in the future
Ashley M — Google review
Decidedly average for us. Some dishes 2 star, some 3. Service was pretty good. Drinks were fine - probably the best part.

We went with my wife to this restaurant and we were a little bit disappointed. The appetiser were ok, but we didn't love them (guacamole and the cevich). The main dishes were very, very good ! Salmon was great, risotto perfect too. My tuna was cooked perfectly. The dessert was ok. So this restaurant is good but for the price they ask its too much, especially for the appetisers

I've been here twice this week and haven't had a complaint on anything I've had to eat or drink. The food is so good! The Salmon Poke Bowl is a must try if you're looking for something light and fresh. The shrimp scampi pizza was perfectly cooked. The crust was crunchy, not doughy and floppy like you get in the States, and the flavors were amazing! The staff is also amazing! So friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend anyone stop in here for a bite to eat or a delicious frozen drink.

This is a nice spot in Red Hook. The service was great, the atmosphere amazing. Classic Caribbean deck pub with great decor, right on the harbor. We watched the moon rise out of the ocean. Drinks were good but not quite ad good as Tap & Still. Our waitress agreed. Pizza and salad were good.

We checked reviews for this restaurant and were very pleased with the result. Understand that the directions guide you to the wrong place a parking lot. This restaurant is on the second floor of a shopping plaza. It’s mainly an outdoor restaurant with a bar directly in the middle as you walk up the stairs see picture. This seems to be a local’s spot. My kids were happy there was pizza on the menu. My wife ordered the ITP DELUXE, my kids ordered the CLASSIC CHEESE PIZZA with pepperoni and I have the TUNA POKE. Everything was on point and delicious. Brian our waiter was attentive and got our orders in quickly. They share bathroom’s which were disgusting, usually if you follow my reviews you know I take away a star for bad bathrooms. This one was shared so I really couldn’t. This restaurant is a hidden gem. Check the views on my pics.

Awesome service and food! I meant to write our waitresses name down and completely forgot! We ordered a couple drinks and the Shrimp for an appetizer. Then we shared the Turkey Chipotle Club. Both of them were SOOO good! We ordered a pizza and again SOOO good! We are very happy that we stopped here before getting a taxi back to our resort. Definitely recommend! I believe it is all outdoor seating which we usually always choose so we were happy. Also they have amazing views there! ** We loved the Beware of Attack Redneck sign!

We were looking for a place that had a view of the water, not too pricey, but still good food. This checked all those boxes. I would recommend the pizza, which is what we are. 1 large pizza- we had 4 toppings I think could feed 3 or 4 if everyone had drinks and shared an appetizer. They were out of 2 of the appetizers I wanted, but that sounded unusual.

Staff is super friendly, we ordered three pizzas and they were very good. It was after dark when we got there and ended up asking them to change our order to go because we were being eaten alive by the bugs. They offered some bug spray but we declined and they brought us our pizzas in boxes. Parking was a bit of a challenge but I think that appears to be most places on the island.

The inviting atmosphere makes it an ideal place to unwind after exploring the beautiful surroundings of St. Thomas.
Stopped to get out of the sun and started talking to Patrick. After a few, we went on our way to check out the university. We ended up back at the Side Street Pup for some fantastic street tacos along with chips and salsa combo. I went for the Ahi Tuna taco while my son the pork taco. Both are packed with tons of flavor. My wife, not being too hungry, had the chips and salsa, which my my son and I polished of the homemade salsa was great. My son indulged in two mixed drinks. He had the voodoo juice and a bushwacker. Both were made to perfection. The staff is an awesome bunch family owned and operated. They make you feel like a regular. Do your taste buds a favor and stop in..

What a cool spot for pizza and drinks! We visited after a shark diving experience and it was the best pizza I’ve had on island. The boat is colorful, staff is so friendly, and the seating is so cool, with floats right in the beautiful water. My only complaint is that I don’t own my own boat to go enjoy it more often!
Taylor N — Google review
Had an awesome time last week at Pizza Pi. This isn't just your average pizza - it was awesome!!! We didn't expect so many choices. Great pizza, yummy drinks, combined with a fun and unique experience = win/win. Highly recommend!
Sarah W — Google review
Pizza was WAY better than the Ritz-Carlton pizza!!! Amazing food and great service. The snorkeling right off the boat was incredible. We saw close to 100 turtles in the course of an hour or two.
Justin C — Google review
While on a charter trip we came across Pizza Pi at Christmas Cove. Wow! Who would have thought of making fresh pizzas on the water. So fresh the dough is made daily on the boat!! If you havent ran across this sweet little gem...it is a must do on your bucket list!! We had the Sunburnt Tourist and the Castaway. Both hot, flavorful, and delicious!! One of our friends had a stromboli. Im not a big fan of strombolis because I have always felt it was too much thick dough. I was able to try it and it was delicious. Not too much dough nor was it thick. It was perfect! So just remember if you are on a boat and in the area of Christmas Cove do not worry about packing your lunch. Google Pizza Pi, pull up their menu, and order your pizza. They can deliver it to your boat, pull your boat up to them, or enjoy your pizza/stromboli on their floats that are tied to the Pizza Pi boat. You will definitely not be disappointed!! Oh before I forget...they have non alcoholic beverages, a bar, and frozen drinks!! All to be enjoyed while swimming and basking in the cool clear waters and soaking of the sun rays while making memories.

Just when you think it can’t get any better sipping cocktails on the water, the pizza arrives and it’s the best pizza ever!

Off the Wall at Cane Bay is a popular spot for divers to relax after exploring the North Shore's Cane Bay Wall. The beachside location offers stunning sunset views and the chance to spot whales during winter. The menu features deli sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, calzones, and pizzas with various toppings. Visitors can also enjoy waterfront views at Pollys at the Pier and AMA at Cane Bay.
Calzones were delicious! Setting is spectacular. We enjoyed our visit during the sunset and man….its something. You’re watching the waves and soaking in the views. Our drinks were excellent. The bartender was great and chatted with us while we enjoyed our evening. The only complaint I have is that there were the little bugs starting to bite as the sun went down. No worries though, the bartender provided us with OFF, and we were back in business. (It’s an outdoor bar, c’est la vie). Service is slower than what you find stateside, but you’re in island time and it’s really nice to slow down and enjoy the moment. We will be back
Amber M — Google review
Everything was fantastic! While I would describe the food as simple or basic, it still felt fitting for the setting. The breathtaking views combined with the charming beachside restaurant atmosphere truly elevated the experience. There’s something magical about being there at sunset, with the vibrant colors reflecting off the water and the gentle sound of waves in the background. It's the perfect backdrop for a relaxing meal, making it a delightful place to unwind. 🌇

Off the wall quickly became one of our happy places on St Croix. We ended up there 3 times over the course of our visit. Very good and fairly priced food, fantastic view, especially of the sunset and friendly welcoming staff. Everything we had was good: tacos (fish & BBQ pork), veggie egg rolls, burgers, but our favorite were the fries... Some of the best anywhere!

Lovely seaside bar and grill tucked away on the northwestern side of the island. The Surf n Turf burger was good. I popped in for a late lunch. The place looks like a great time during the sunset and evening and will go back. Very close to a beautiful snorkeling beach.

Off the Wall is a great spot on Cane Bay. On a recent trip, we enjoyed Off the Wall twice for lunch. The location is right on the water and the bar has a great selection. The food was excellently prepared. The staff was attentive and offered suggestions for drinks and food. The BLT was amazing.

Food was good. Got the hot breath burger and mac and cheese (get the beans as MC was fair) and burger was good not a preprocessed patty it was scratch, and other couple got onion rings (very good btw) and smash burger with black beans / rice was good. Drinks were good $14 for frozen and $6 beer. Atmosphere was great as right next to ocean with beautiful very view. Staff very nice and checks up on you.

Terrific views and seriously great food! Both the Jerk Pork and Blackened Shrimp Tacos were excellent. The best lunch we had in a week on St. Croix!

This prestigious Michelin-starred fine dining establishment takes comfort food to new heights, offering a delightful Caribbean flair that adds an extra layer of flavor to their carefully curated menu.
Such a wonderful dining experience! I called to make a last minute reservation for my husband and I. Once notified it was our honeymoon, our lovely server Abby had a handwritten sign on our table waiting for us. During our meal the chef Jason walked over to ask how things were and gave us some insight on local food. Their food however… was amazing!!! We had a salad as our starter (forgot the name but it has cashews and passion fruit dressing which was sooooo delicious!!!) Incredible unique flavors and large portions, which were a blessing in comparison to other high quality restaurants on the island. I got the salmon risotto and my husband got the lionfish and sweet potato fries. (The sauce was amazing!!!) Everything was wonderful. Next time we will be back for dessert and wine! Thank you again for having us 🩷

Stopped in randomly for a quick lunch and wine. Wine and staff was great. Very welcoming and gave tons of recommendations for the island. I got the pasta with Alfredo it could've used a little more salt and flavor but I did eat it all. My husband got the fish and sweet potato fries. They were the best sweet potato fries we've ever had lol we talked about them the whole trip
Kayla W — Google review
All around excellent experience. Had the blackened Lionfish tacos and a ribeye steak. Perfectly seasoned, a tiny bit of bite to the blackening. Lionfish was tender, cooked just right. Dinner special was a ribeye steak with pizzaioli sauce. This was supposed to be a 14oz ribeye, but mine was at LEAST 24oz, cooked rare, exactly how I ordered it. Excellent cut of steak with nice marbling, well seasoned and topped with garlicky pizzaioli sauce with nicely roasted tomatoes, green and red peppers. Will definitely go there again when I'm on St Thomas again
David C — Google review
I can't say enough good things about our dinner 9/29/25. We have been coming to St Thomas for 7 years and this was our 2nd time being their guest, we have a son with some food allergies and each time the staff has gone out of their way to makes sure he is safe and has something to eat. Our visit this year we had the pleasure of having Aaliyah sever us and she went above and beyond, she was perfect and communicated multiple times with the kitchen about the allergy and making sure everything came out perfect. The Twisted Cork is doing it right and we will be back!
Jake L — Google review
Everything about this gem of a restaurant was excellent. The service, the cocktails and of course the food. I had grilled red snapper and my husband had vegan crab cake. Both exceptional. Please do not miss the bread pudding with bourbon maple house made ice cream.
Renee H — Google review
We had a wonderful dinner here - the portions were massive (almost unnecessarily so), flavors and textures were incredible, and it was a wonderful way to end our trip. Highlight for me was the salmon risotto, hands down. The salmon was cooked to perfection - still soft and practically melt in your mouth in the center. The risotto was not too overpowering. And I loved the onion crisps - the crunchiness balanced out the dish.
Vy N — Google review
The food was delicious. We had the lion fish and chips and the twisted burger. We loved both. The lion fish is a firm and not fishy fish, well battered and the burger was large and flavorful. For dessert we shared the ballpark pie and it was a must order. Must visit when in Frenchtown.

Good restaurant within walking distance to our hotel. We arrived shortly after opening and had the restaurant to ourselves. Nice atmosphere with impeccable service! The Lionfish and Chips were ok, Chicken Caprese sandwich was awesome.

Delivery Restaurant
Senor Pizza is a neighborhood pizzeria known for its big slices and laid-back atmosphere, complete with outdoor picnic tables. The restaurant offers delicious food at fantastic prices and even provides delivery to the Red Hook & East End areas. Inside, patrons can enjoy retro arcade games, making it a great spot for families. Despite initial concerns about mask-wearing, the tasty pizza and cheese bread exceeded expectations.
This pizza was awesome. We had it in one of the snorkeling cruises trips that we took. And I could not say anything bad about it.. if you like thinner than normal pizza, this is what you have been looking for.. The cheese sauce ratio was perfect. Definitely. Stop by and get a few for you and the family or for yourself lol

Señor Pizza Is A Must-Try for Tourists! We ordered a Meat Lovers pizza and some cheese bread from Señor Pizza, and both were fantastic! The Meat Lovers pizza was packed with toppings, had just the right amount of sauce, and hit every mark you’d want in a good pizza. The cheese bread was simple but done right, cheesy, delicious, and served with marinara sauce. Beyond the food, the service was great. The staff was friendly and attentive over the phone, and the delivery driver was super nice. If you’re visiting and craving some quality pizza, they do deliver, and we definitely recommend ordering from here!
Mati D — Google review
Ordered delivery from here while visiting Red Hook. It is open later for delivery than many other restaurants in the area which was a big factor for our first order. However, the pizza is so delicious we ordered twice during our visit! Delivery was also not a long wait. Both of our orders were delivered within 45 minutes.
Meena Y — Google review
Ordered delivery so not sure about the atmosphere. Be prepared to have leftovers, plenty of portions. Calzone was awesome. Do recommend.
Melissa S — Google review
I highly recommend Senor Pizza. My wife and I were on St Thomas for a week and we ordered from here twice. The pizza was unexpectedly delicious and one of the most affordable meals in the island. The 12" pizza feed the both of us perfectly. Both times we ordered, the food was ready in less than 15 minutes. We ordered chicken and green olives the first time, and chicken and black olives the second time; both were fantastic. Red Hook is a busy place and there aren't really any good parking options, but that seems to be the case all around the island, so I can't fault them for that. The inside seems to be under some level of renovation as though they are trying to expand their dining area, but over all it's a charming little pizza joint in the middle of the Caribbean.
Patrick B — Google review
Very very good pizza with fresh toppings. They were so sweet when I called and they called me when they were on their way. The driver was very very kind. If I ever come back to St Thomas we will definitely order again! Thank you for your kindness

Great pizza, good quality and good flavor. The staff is also all super friendly. I ate here twice during my trip, the pizza and wings are both worth trying.
Sammy P — Google review
100% recommend their pizza and wings. We ordered the mid sliced pepperoni pizza and large wings. The pizza was delicious, cheesy, and thin crust. We started eating it as soon as it hit our table and kept making cheese strings. Even once it cooled down a bit it held its awesome taste. As a wings lover, the wings were so juicy and filled with flavor, even the ranch was good. They could be crispier, but they're already delicious as is. Both of the people at the counter were so nice, and gave great customer service. Definitely a great spot.

The Deep End Bar & Grill is a popular poolside restaurant located at Tamarind Reef Resort, offering a diverse menu including salads, burgers, sandwiches, seafood, and pasta dishes. The venue hosts various events such as disco bingo on Thursdays, West Indian Carnival on Fridays, Sunday brunches, and live music on weekends.
Great breeze with a beautiful view of the ocean and their pool. Our server was so polite and also doubled as the bartender. Such a peaceful atmosphere. Breakfast was tasty, I mean it’s breakfast
Joy C — Google review
The buffet was horrible, and our tablecloth was mold while their google picture of the restaurant looked clean and inviting. The buffet had plain salad, four different types of pasta that were terrible, plain white rice, fried potato slices, terrible fried catfish, dried out chicken curry on a stick that was like jerky and wouldn’t come off, mussels I didn’t have the courage to eat, and dried out turkey on a Buscetta toast. One of the pastas may have had a few tiny bits of beef in it. The buffet was guarded by about 4 workers who dished out the slop painfully slow while acting like they were serving lobster and filet steak. It must have taken 30 minutes to get through the line while using the one paper plate they gave me at the table. The show turned out to be good, but definitely no worth the hideous buffet experience and $40 per person bill with 20 percent added gratuity.

The service was great! And the food was to die for. By far the best food on the island. Marissa was a great waitress! ❤️
Hailee W — Google review
One of the the better restaurant / bar that I have been to in some time. The drinks were very tasty & have plenty of alcohol especially the pain killer plus they have some really fancy drinks I never got around to trying. The restaurant is aways from town & is the only place you can eat at if you’re staying at the Tamerind Reef Hotel unless you drive into Christiansted & it was surprisingly very good. The service was also really good though I saw some off islanders that didn’t think it was fast enough for them, they must have been from a big city. Every server & bartender gave great service & everyone was very nice & easy to talk with. I have to point out Maggie & Nesha, two of the Waitresses who were tremendous & the bartender Richard though everyone was great. I was actually surprised how really good the food was & I was there for ten days & had everything on the menu for all three meals plus all the great specials. I have been to many restaurant/bars on the beach yet not with the good food this place has. It is extremely popular & the locals come from all over the island to eat, drink & enjoy the great live music & really fun events they have every night like Disco Bingo & dance lessons among other fun stuff. You also can’t beat the huge pool which is center stage plus the sunsets are incredible & the beach is on the other side of the pool. If you’re ever in St. Croix stop by this place & enjoy the great food, drink, socializing & staff. I am looking forward to going back. Remember to always tip generously, servers have a very hard job & the pay is not great, they depend on your generosity for the job they do.

This place was a joy to discover. The cocktails were pretty good, and the atmosphere was beach bar casual. But what set it apart, was the friendly staff (Jillian) that went the extra mile.

Weathered a bit, laid back casual atmosphere. What matters is the food and service were excellent... Fish tacos were the BEST! There's a marina behind the restaurant and we enjoyed sitting in some loungers under trees on the shoreline afterwards... very pretty!

Ziggy's Island Market, LLC is a casual kitchen and tavern located in a gas station/convenience store on the East End of St. Croix. The owner, who is also a chef, prepares gourmet food on a flat iron grill outside the restaurant. If you are on St. Croix on Sunday morning, don't miss out on this excellent opportunity to enjoy some fabulous food at an affordable price.
A gas station eatery that is crazy good! Order where you pay for gas, grab a few seats, they bring out to you. Everything was delicious, especially the Italian and Cubano sandwiches! My son ordered both of these and I couldn't stop sneaking bites! Surprisingly they also serve Curry dishes, my daughter loved the Roti and I really enjoyed the Shrimp Curry. So glad we found this little gem.

Excellent food if you can get there before it sells out! We got the last brisket 30 minutes after dinner service started. The people working there are great and so are the locals. The outdoor bar on the side is really awesome and full of good people. This was our best meal during our 8 days on the island. If in St Croix, this is a MUST DO. The chef is great there! Delicious food, big portions, well worth the price.

Best brunch but also best meal on the island thus far. The food was phenomenal, bartenders were fast, fun, and drinks were totally yum. How can this food come from a gas station?? Don’t miss this Sunday brunch. It’s insanely good. A bit of a wait but have a couple drinks and chill and enjoy the vibe. Surf and turf Benedict and breakfast stacker shown here. And their bloody had homemade pickled veggies

Ziggy’s is a local staple every day of the week, for a fuel stop, food run, snack shop, or a bathroom break. However the events held here are a beloved local tradition, such as Sunday Brunch. You can’t miss out on the sweet OR savory options, with a rotating menu and never a morsel left to waste on your plate. Servings are generous, atmosphere is welcoming, employees are friendly, and ingredients are fresh and tasty. Don’t skip Ziggy’s Island Market whether you’re just passing through for vacation or a native Crucian.
Hailey — Google review
Awesome food and cheap beers, locals come here a lot and the bartender works in the city apparently. The more detailed menu starts at 6 apparently and it was awesome pork burritos and firecracker shrimp bowl. One of our best stops on the island so we stopped twice
Alex J — Google review
Ziggy’s is a local expat spot with a rotating brunch menu. There’s tons of great seating on the patio and a limited bar-no frozen drinks and minimal mixers but good prices. Not having the mixers was surprising because it was literally available in the market behind the bar. We were excited to try the food however felt it was all hype, more rum may have helped. The food lacked salt, or any distinctive flavor. there was also so much plastic being used we felt wasteful! Perhaps we came on a bad morning? Not sure we would be willing to try again.
Jacksman — Google review
We had Sunday brunch at Ziggy's! Doesn't look like much as you pull up to the gas station; but, don't let that deter you! This guy is cooking up gourmet food in the parking lot, on a flat iron grill like I have at home! If you are on the island on Sunday morning, don't waste your money at some fancy restaurant. The tattooed CHEF at Ziggy's will leave you overjoyed with any of his fine offerings.

Made a stop here on the way to the east end...sneaky hidden gem. Yes, this is a gas station. Yes, it's also a bar. Yes, it's a fun stop. The food was good, had the cuban, but the environment was fun. This restaurant is on the more pricey side but if you are willing to spend the money I think it is decent. The ambiance of the restaurant is unmatched and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. I ordered the crispy thai chicken and the chicken was very nice but I found the sauce to be slightly overpowering especially as I was finishing my food. Besides the sauce, the vegetables and noodles were also very good and they added a nice flavor and texture that complemented the chicken. The service was mediocre for what I would expect from such a restaurant.

Fast food restaurant
Singhs Fast Food is a small, local joint in St. Croix that offers a variety of authentic island dishes. The menu includes multiple meat and tofu varieties, as well as shrimp, conch, goat, and tofu stews. The place is known for its generous portions and friendly staff. It's popular among tourists looking for a taste of local cuisine away from the more touristy restaurants by the water.
What can I say? If you're looking for homecooked flavorful food with tons of variety and ample portions, choose Singhs Fast Food. As a visitor to St Croix, a food tasting tour with " A Taste of Twin Cities Food Tour with VI Tours" (Viator) brought us to this gem. We sampled a dish called a "double" - just enough for a quick morning meal. It's similar to a roti but not. Satisfying but not a meal to weigh you down. I must say i visited Singhs one more time for a dinner platter and was not disappointed! Friendly service on top of curry shrimp, seasoned rice, fish, cabbage, and a few other random items I threw in because everything looked scrumptious. Just give them a try when you're on St Croix- you won't be disappointed.
Junell H — Google review
This wasn’t just lunch—it was an incredible culinary experience. While exploring the boardwalk and searching for a local spot to eat, a friendly local recommended Singh’s. Just a few blocks up King Street, we decided to take their advice—and we’re so glad we did! We ordered two lunches: shrimp with spinach and mac & cheese, and conch with plantains and rice & beans. Every dish was fresh, hot, and generously portioned. The flavors were exactly what we craved on our Caribbean adventure. If you’re looking for an authentic Caribbean food experience and aren’t concerned about ambiance, I highly recommend Singh’s. The staff was very friendly, and the restaurant was clean. We’re already planning to return before our trip ends!

Came here for a late lunch / early dinner. Food was pretty good, but very very cold. It for sure isn’t being kept at the correct temperature. Service was great and he was friendly explaining all of the food. We got two meats, a sandwich type local item (can’t remember the name) and a side of beans and it was $27 - I think we were overcharged, but no prices were listed.
Rebekah D — Google review
Friends and I toured the island while on a cruise. Our tour guide highly recommended this place, stating it was the only place in town that served local/authentic island food. It's a hole-in-the-wall with a few tables; and a counter that featured a variety of dishes. I ordered the goat along with rice and veggies. My two friends shared a shrimp dish. Everything was very good. The portions were huge!! It's located 0.4 mile walk from the water area where the other touristy restaurants are located. I'd go back!!

Breakfast restaurant
Caroline's Breakfast is a new eatery in St. Croix with limited outdoor seating, but the stunning view of Christiansted Harbor makes it worth the wait. They serve their famous breakfast all day and have a small lunch menu starting at 11 a.m. The fresh-juice cocktails are also highly recommended.
My husband & I ate brunch here one morning and loved it so much that we had to go a second time before we left the island. We had a great experience with the food and the staff were very friendly. I loved the decor inside & all the pink!

Nice cozy ambience near the boardwalk. Went for breakfast and tried quiche, avocado toast and crepe. We loved the beignet. The next day we went again but the service was very slow, so they apologized and did not charge for the food.
Sara A — Google review
We had an amazing and flavorful meal. We highly recommend the Caroline's Omelet and the Snapper sandwich with salad; both were fresh and perfectly prepared. We also thoroughly enjoyed the delicious Pumpkin bread. Abby our waitress was great and attentive. The atmosphere was nice, quiet, and very relaxing. We had an amazing time and will certainly be back!

Just ok. It’s one of the only places open early enough for breakfast in Christiansted. The environment is cute, but all of the decor needs dusting. We ordered the bananas fosters French toast was ok—wasn’t as indulgent as I had hoped for. The bacon was cooked perfectly. Took way too long to get our order, our food, and our check. They definitely run on “island time” here. Staff wasn’t exactly cheery, but also not rude either.
Kaydee D — Google review
Had breakfast here and it was delicious. The classic American breakfast and veggie Benedict were very very good. My son ordered Belgian waffles and didn’t like them. They were a little too soft. The coffee was watery so had an americano instead and it was perfect! Highly recommend! Staff was really friendly.

The service and the breakfast is always amazing! We come here every time we visit. The Italian sausage is our absolute favorite.

Excellent service accompanied by genuine island smiles 😁 (Thanks, Clara!) My friend came here for breakfast every day during her vacation, and told me I HAD to check it out .... so glad I did! They have both indoor and outdoor seating. The vibe inside is really nice and cozy. Outdoor seating allows you to hear the waves with a view of Hotel on the Cay. Easy access to the boardwalk. Food prices are decent and food equality is really wonderful. Wifi is available as well 😊

Ital in Paradise offers a delightful experience for vegans and vegetarians visiting St. Croix. The tour includes tasting locally sourced vegan lentil balls with passion fruit dipping sauce, papaya lemonade, and Armstrongs Ice Cream in island flavors like mango, banana, and gooseberry. Anquanette leads the tour through historic buildings, parks, and attractions in Christiansted while sharing the rich narrative of St. Croix's history and culture.
Wow, I'll be dreaming about this food for months to come. I got the snapper and my bf got lamb. The food was so fresh, so simple, yet had so much flavor. Those lentil balls? OMG I gotta figure out how to make them. This place is much better than other tourist spots on the boardwalk, highly recommend.
Kleopatra G — Google review
Vegetarian’s Review: We initially considered dining at Galangal (a Thai restaurant) but, after reading outstanding reviews on Google, we decided to try Ital in Paradise for an authentic Caribbean experience—especially since good Thai food is widely available. And we were glad we did! Our Selections: • Pepper Steak Tofu – 3/5 • Black Bean Salad – 5/5 • Coconut Cabbage Curry – 4/5 • Jasmine Rice – 5/5 • Lentil Balls – 5/5 • Lentil Ball Sauce – 5/5 We enjoyed the food so much that we ordered takeout of the same dishes for brunch the next day while traveling. What Makes This Place Special? • They offer gluten-free pasta. • All their side dishes are vegan. • They are intentional about accommodating vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free diets. While the restaurant was originally fully vegan/vegetarian, they have since added some meat and fish options to sustain their business. The service was excellent, and the location in downtown is convenient and inviting. To our vegan and vegetarian friends—this is a must-visit spot. Let’s support and encourage this fantastic restaurant!

Just had dinner there with my daughter. You don't need fancy and expensive to have a great meal. We went to the fancy resort earlier, and this meal was MUCH better. This was wonderful! Definitely recommended for those going into town for food!

We had lentil balls and it tasted great. It was similar to indian vada or pakoda. The passion fruit sauce was amazing and it went well with it.

We visited St. Croix on our cruise, and Alvin L. took us there for lunch. I had the most amazing snapper, kale salad, brown rice, and the tastiest juice ever!!!! If you're in Christiansted, stop by for some of the best food you'll ever eat!!!

LOVED LOVED! So delicious this food. The tofu was yum! And I went back for a sandwich to take on the plane. Great idea! One guy taking orders, cooking and bring out the food. Really nice person and there is a small sitting area inside. The restaurant is located upstairs, almost can miss it but don’t! Support local plant based Ital food. Absolutely delicious! Vegan/veg/gluten-free friendly.

Amazing vegan and fish dishes. The grilled salmon was perfectly done. His salad dressing is amazing! Those lentil balls are yummy and the peanut punch...we had it three times! The owner is super friendly and so is the server/cashier.
Kimeisha R — Google review
Wow! Vegans/vegetarians must try this place! We spent a week in St. Croix and this was a double lunch spot for us. Monday’s vegan plate (chickpeas and tofu to go pic) was amazing, as well as Thursday’s (bbq tofu). Both came with an incredible cold black bean salad, seasoned rice, salad with a unique passion fruit vinaigrette, and fried lentil balls which reminded me of a less-heavy falafel. We will absolutely eat here again if we find ourselves back in St. Croix. One thing to note: the restaurant is on the second floor in between some shops and does not have a big sign.

In a neighborhood known for its saltiness, Fish Tails Bar & Grill offers fresh seafood in a casual atmosphere. The open-air dining area overlooks the harbor, where boats with commercial fisherman and yachties are visible. Drinks flow freely and there is a strong emphasis on seafood dishes on the menu.
Service was a bit slow from the time we waited at the front door for seating to being greeted, etc, but the food was amazing. Atmosphere was very laid back and fun, great jazz band playing, overlooking the water. Huge portions! Expensive, but worth it. Amazing crab cakes! Fish tacos and seafood platter were delicious. The Best dinner I had on the island.

It seemed like the staff was undersupported that day, but they worked very hard to give us a good experience. Their fish tacos are amazing. Oysters on the half she'll are market price and worth ordering. Before lunch they offer endless mimosas, so that's another plus.
Brock P — Google review
Absolutely amazing place right at the harbor of Red Hook. Highly recommend going here for some really good daily caught fish or lobster. On occasion they have an extra sushi bar with a personal sushi chef. The shrimp are super fresh and crisp. If you only have 1 day in red hook, that's the place to dine! (And get their bushwacker inspired cocktail with peanut butter 😉)

Loved the food at this restaurant !!! Very tasty drinks and the environment is pretty awesome too. We had the chance to see the guys come back from their fishing trip with GIGANTIC lobsters but we had already ordered the whole fried fish which was outstanding. The calamari was delicious but honestly I was expecting a little more. Anyway, really cool place right on the water.

Waitress was very nice and helped us get out on time to catch the last Safari bus. My fish tacos were good. Hubby's grilled Mahi sandwich was ok but he really likes cocktail sauce and ended up having to go get some himself.

a little pricy for quantity but good quality. Kimchi bowl is spicy! Kids menu is available as well but Alfredo with chicken/shrimps tastes better than kid marinara sauce pasta.

Fresh Bistro is a popular dining spot in St. Thomas, offering excellent food and a beautiful view of the harbor. The restaurant's location at Yacht Haven Grande provides an upscale atmosphere with exotic yachts adding to the ambiance. The open-air restaurant serves unique food and drinks, although some find it a bit pricey. Parking is ample, and it's conveniently close to the cruise ships at West Indian Dock for those arriving on foot.
Excellent food and beautiful view. Tried the catch of the day which was pan seared walnut encrusted magi with glazed carrots and beets with pumpkin sauce. Delicious. Fish was well cooked and vegetable combination complemented the meal very well. Service a little on the slow side. Dined again for lunch. Had wahoo fish special. Outstanding.

This place, right near the docks at Yacht Haven Grande, is an open air restaurant featuring unique food items and drinks. Our food tasted good but we thought it was a little pricey. Plenty of parking. Close to the cruise ships at West Indian Dock if you're walking. I loved the 5 and 6 foot tarpons.

This restaurant is always a dining success. It’s a GoTo for St Thomas if you need to eat well with family and friends or have a business meeting with meal. The location is Harbor side with an upscale marina behind you filled with exotic yachts which give it an upscale feel during lunch as well as during diner. This excellent location also allows you to view downtown Charlotte Amalie, Saint Thomas which can be stunning during the day at lunch as well at night with the highlights of the downtown and hillside city lights. You can’t beat this Water side, urban, marina setting with a view of the island city side to your left and beautiful people and excellent bar to your right. Along with great location is the consistency of delicious food. The things you must try are the corn appetizer , the calamari appetizer, any of the fresh fish dishes and my favorite-the quinoa salad( to which I always add a fresh fish protein). Enjoy

This place was a life saver after eating at a few other places. Best Cuban sandwich I have ever had. I ordered this sandwich on 3 separate occasions in a 7 day stay... On the 4th visit I had decided to try a burger as they do not offer the sandwich at dinner, mind you this is a 2/3 lb burger, but it was a little undercooked. However they fixed it and comped a meal for two and were super cool about it. Has a nice view of the ships too...

Havana Blue is a popular beachfront restaurant located on Morningstar Beach in St. Thomas, near the Marriott hotel complex. The restaurant offers a vibrant atmosphere with Asian-meets-Latin inspired cuisine and an exciting cocktail menu featuring plenty of rum drinks. Signature dishes include miso-glazed sea bass with garlicky spinach and wasabi-spiked potato mash, as well as citrus-marinated skirt steak topped with tempura-fried asparagus and crispy onions.
Beautiful setting, the food is pricey but very well worth it! The seafood cazuela was the best and the service was excellent! Ask for an ocean side table and enjoy the views as well!

Place was great! Food was great! Service was great! I could do without the blue lighting where we were sitting! Couldn't see the food I was eating, which I want to add again, was amazing! The color matters a great deal to the presentation! Thank you for a great meal!

Havana is an upscale fancy resturants. Yes it it really dark in there where you can barely see the menu but the food is absolute tasty. I can say it is over priced but that's what you get for an upscale resturant. I would defiantly come back here.
Zahnee F — Google review
Being from Texas the serving sizes are SMALL. This was $54 including 2 local beers. I was looking for a Whataburger after. I ate solo so I would have been REALLY pissed if my wife was here.
Marvin M — Google review
We just had our son's wedding rehearsal dinner here and it was wonderful. Donna coordinated the event, with the great kitchen and wait staff everything was top notch. We had 25 people, a four course menu with several options for each course. All courses came out in a timely, but not rushed, manner. I was really impressed with the main course since 90% of us ordered the skirt steak - these all were cooked to perfection and all of us got our food at near the same time, without hot plates or cold food. The food was great, the views were amazing and everyone had a great time. The restaurant is open air with ceiling fans and dress is very casual - you are on vacation!
John S — Google review
Thought the SandBar sounded good from the reviews, but it could not be further from the truth. Once we sat down it took over 10 minutes for someone just to order our drinks, and another 10 to bring them. Food wise, the only thing I enjoyed was the mac and cheese. I found the fish flavorless, as did my husband. It was overpriced for the quality and quantity of food we received. We will not be eating here again.
Tahlia S — Google review
Never had sea bass? Don't like sea bass? Try it here and you'll fall in love. The menu pricing is on the high side but also consider they must source their ingredients at a price and pay on the property they occupy. Service is flawless and definitely a go to if you are staying on the resort.

The Beer Garden, located in St. Thomas, is a cozy and unique spot with lush greenery, plants, and flowers. The owners, Nala and his wife, are friendly and love to chat with visitors. They offer tasty and flavorful beer recommendations while sharing the history of the island. Guests can also enjoy a bird show on-site. The bar area features a beautiful view of plants and offers strong drinks like the famous Bushwhacker cocktail.
Nice beergarden in a bussy street. Friendly staff, good selection of beer.

Fantastic place! If you want a beautiful view of plants and an amazing experience you will want to go here! The owner is extremely friendly and loves to chat and get to know you. Or just likes to make you strong drinks- anyways, it's really something. You go down a long hall way (that has no roof) and sit into porch that is the bar area. It was raining when we were sitting there, but there's just enough roof to support the dryness. Try it- you'll be surprised.
Quintessence H — Google review
My wife and I came across this place while walking about. We had to get back to our ship in less than an hour and a half! It was too bad as we were looking for a place exactly like this. The owner gave us a history lesson (which was really cool) and met his little dog. If we had more time we would have definitely stayed and had a few and spent all of our time there and in that area. Next time!
David L — Google review
Very quaint little place. I'd say it was quiet but the "local" drunk at the bar didn't know how to stop talking...He reminded me of Newnan from Sienfeld.... in appearance and personality. Food is limited but tasty. Don't go if you're in a hurry. But if you need a place to grab a beer or margaritas and some conch fritters. Pop on in. I'd definitely go back.

Absolutely love this bar. The staff and guests are super cool. Feels like the good old days and someone actually care to talk and share stories. Drinks are strong and on point! Go!

Awesome little bar, open air, almond tree and a must do every time we visit St. Thomas. The owner is fun to talk to and has some interesting stories. Cold beer hide a way.

My husband and I stumbled upon this cozy, unique beer garden while visiting in St. Thomas. Besides being absolutely gorgeous with lush greenery, plants, and flowers, we met Nala and his wife, the owners. We had the best time talking, learning the history of the island, drinking beer (all of Nala's recommendations were tasty and flavorful), and we even got to see a bird show while we were there. When you visit Beauchert's, you have to try the Bushwhacker. It is literally the best mixed drink I have ever tasted. This place is a must-visit when you come to St. Thomas! It is affordable and the drinks are the best in St. Thomas. We will be back.

Banana Tree Grille, located at Bluebeard's Castle, has been a consistent favorite for many over the years. The stunning view overlooking town and the harbor adds to the delightful ambiance of this establishment. Guests can enjoy balcony seating for special occasions and expect an exceptional dining experience.
Beautiful restaurant, amazing service and excellent food. I highly recommend their steak with the French sauce and the potato fries with goat cheese. My partner had the duck and he raved about it. It was in line with some of the 4 diamond restaurants I've been to and cost much less.

Welcome to the 80's. This place is terrible!! Liz the owner is a controlling terrible owner. Garbage food over priced. Wish you could see the wall of shame . Spinach from china frozen, as example as well as all the other frozen vegetables and local fish that is frozen and not local. Same fish but far from fresh and local. Don't be fooled. Under paid staff paid in cash to cut corners and real employees never get a head because it looks like they don't work. She's an american slave owner to American and foreign employee's. Disgraceful human being!!!

Delish! Great service, amazing drinks and food. So happy we ate here, had lobster tail and some delicious sides--hollandaise asparagus/mushrooms, others tried and LOVED the lobster mac, calamari and bread basket. Needless to say we left very happy. Chris was a great waiter, made our last big meal on the island amazing!

The food is 5 star! Service, speed, quality all Excellent! What is a 1 star is the owner/ or maybe it's the owners wife, she sits at a table barking orders to the employees making them feel inadequate. I was really close to blowing up on her about they way she makes the employees feel. You could see the restaurant vibe turn when she walked in the door. If the husband was smart he would make his wife stay home, and just hand her a paycheck or some more jewelry. # stay out the way

Food is horrible. Staff was nice. I paid over 75 dollars for two waters, crab cake appetizer which included two crab cakes the size of silver dollars, main dish was fish and a pasta dish for my girl. The pasta was worse than hamburger helper plus the noodles were mushy and the fish had no flavor. I am not exaggerating. This place is WACK! Eat there if you want they will be happy to see you get suckered. It was full of taste dead people or suckas like me

Place was packed and the staff was light and a little stressed out from the overload and a table of impolite people. We had a very good lunch, good service and a decent time here. Nate's Boat House at the end of the Board Walk with waterfront dining, turned out to be the perfect spot for a wonderful Happy Hour & Sunset. Our Server William was very attentive and polite, he relocated to St Croix from Michigan 1 1/2 years ago and is here to stay - stop in and support him. We had 4 gin and tonics, Conch Fritters, and Calamari. The dishes looked beautiful, generous servings that tasted delicious. There is indoor and outdoor seating as well as seating at the bar, with a couple TV's. We had our Fur baby Willoughby with us, Everyone said hello and brought her a big bowl of water . Children are welcome and have plenty of space to be children, (they are able to walk around the tables while mom and dad have a chance to dine.

I'm pretty sure the food made us sick, or maybe it was the one hour wait before we got our food so by the time we ate we didn't care what it was. Conch fritters were edible. The mash potatoes and Brussels were surprisingly good, fried shrimp tasted of old oil, chicken sandwich was wet and bland. The waitress was a sweetheart but could use more help. Great breeze and view, maybe a great stop for a drink but would not recommend for food.

If you're looking for a slice of paradise in St. Thomas, make sure to visit Dinghy's Beach Bar & Grill at Honeymoon Beach. This gem is not just a restaurant; it's an all-day adventure waiting to unfold! After a scenic 10-minute ferry ride from Crown Bay Marina, you'll find yourself on Water Island, ready to soak up the sun and enjoy the laid-back atmosphere.
Dinghy’s Beach Bar on Water Island was such a fun experience! We spent a few hours enjoying the beautiful surroundings, and it was a perfect day. The food was fantastic—we tried some appetizers and drinks, and everything was delicious. The kids had a blast playing in the water while we relaxed and soaked in the sun. The water ferry ride over added to the adventure, making the whole experience feel like a mini escape. The vibe at Dinghy’s is laid-back and welcoming, making it a must-visit spot for families and anyone looking to have a great time by the beach. Highly recommend!

Look up "perfect beach bar," and you probably find a picture of Dinghy's! This is one of my favorite spots in the USVI. Delicious food (esp the poke), ice-cold beers, perfectly-comcocted Painkillers, friendly staff, and toes-in-the-sand dining, all right on beautiful Honeymoon Beach on Water Island. A must-do while spending any amount of time in St Thomas, even if you are only in for a port day. The Water Island Ferry is a short walk from the Cruise Port at Charlotte or a short cab ride from the Havensight Cruise Pier. The ferry leaves every hour on the hour and only takes about 10 minutes. Once at the Water Island pier, a free shuttle (tip the driver, please!) takes you right to Dinghy's! Stop debating and go!

Visited Water Island, Honeymoon Beach and Dinghy's Beach Bar & Grill on my first full day in St. Thomas. Dinghy's is brilliant, they offer a shuttle from the ferry directly to their slice of heaven. You can rent beach chairs, umbrellas, grab a drink and some of the best bang bang shrimp and fish tacos all from Dinghy's! The live music is perfect, as a solo traveler I felt very safe, and the bartenders are friendly. Service can be a bit disorganized and slow but on an island, where do you really need to be? Coming back next year and will eat here every day.

This place is absolutely amazing. Across from the beach, it's the perfect location for starting your day, or for taking a break in the middle of your day. The service was super friendly, and the food is wonderful. They have GF bread & bagels, as well as tofu for an egg substitute, if you're looking for one. The coffee is the best on the island! You can grab a coffee or some ice cream (or why not both??), then cross the street to enjoy it in front of the beautiful blue Caribbean waters. Polly's is perfect!

Great little spot by the pier. Large selection of food; breakfast is served all day. Ice cream, smoothies, drinks. Large indoor space and an interior open air patio. Right on the water. We got the Caribbean Jerk Wrap, Biscuits & Gravy, and Grilled Chicken Quesadilla. All were excellent. Service was great. Good spot for lunch.

I went to Polly's at the Pier when Iwo Jima was docked in Fredricksted. This was not my first time here, but it will probably be the last. I went in around 2:00pm on a Friday and ordered a cheese quesadilla. It was busy, but not packed. I was told it may be a bit since orders were ahead. I get it 100% I've worked in the industry. After about 20ish minutes I asked how it was going with my order as the place was emptying out. The owner, I'm assuming, went to check and then told me they were working on it now. After another 15 minutes I asked her again. She went back and told me the same thing. One of the workers came up to me and asked what I was waiting on. I told her a cheese quesadilla and it has now been 45 minutes. She came back and told me the exact same thing. I immediately asked for a refund and the owner then brought it out. She asked if I still wanted the refund or the quesadilla. I took the quesadilla and left. Now, I am not one to normally complain; however, this was worse than a quesadilla I could've made at home. The cheese didn't even cover the quesadilla and so flat. I'm disgusted I paid $13 for this PLUS waited for 45 minutes. **The last picture was from November of last year, 2024.

Food was AMAZING! Service was even better! Always friendly, helpful and outright fun. Gotta try the specials and don't skip out on their fresh juices and lemonades. I'll be back soon for a cocktail!

The food is excellent. We went twice during our stay at Cane Bay. My husband recommends the hibiscus iced tea and I love the black tea. Our first meal was so yummy and just as we had remembered . Our second meal was a train wreck. We had to wait for an extended period of time while the manager and the chef were having loud arguments in the kitchen. She came and yelled for minutes on end. I felt uncomfortable and felt sorry for the chef. The manager needs to learn how to manage. Just saying.. in the end after the dust settled our food was good but didn’t go down as easy under normal circumstances .

We got new owners @ Polly’s and they are REALLY ramping things up w fresh homemade local foods and juices. The salsa’s fresh, the pico’s fresh, the guac is fresh, the berry lemonades, hot sauce! (Don’t get me started on the hot sauce.) … the list goes on and on. ¡I mean, come on, look @ this tofu sandwich! It’s the little things … I think … NO, I know Polly’s is going to be a fabulous eatery icon of Frederiksted in no time …. just like ITAL In Paradise is to Christiansted. We know you’ll do great and F’sted will LOVE you. ¡Good luck Chris and Ariela … We’re proud of you and your new staff!

My assumption is their profit is mainly gained through tourism. Ordering breakfast over the phone for pickup at 7:08 went for pickup at 7:15 ( as a government employee I started 8:00 a.m.) and then being late to work because no one's paying attention behind the counter when my order came out. 20+ mins I was late to work when I had plenty of time. It's a shame to have a great menu great breakfast menu friendly atmosphere great attitude but the overall service is bonk! Just like most of the businesses here for the locals but for the Tourists. And for clarity: there was two other people in the restaurant only. It was not busy, cruise ship they had not started. Literally no excuse for that wait time especially my food was sitting right there 🙄

The turkey club is so good! Sandwiches are huge and you definitely get your moneys worth. Also got the mac and cheese, and it tasted yummy and homemade. Once our food was ready we took it upstairs and ate overlooking the ocean. It was raining outside but the top where we sat was still nice and dry. Beautiful views and excellent food. Highly recommend this spot for lunch!

Our Club Sandwich was so good! Probably one of the best ever. We are going to try a Ruben next. They were so friendly. Even suggested some areas for snorkeling. You should definitely stop here when you are on the West Side.

Came here after our ATV tour with island gecko tours right around the corner. HUGE sandwiches. Sweet ocean view. Recommend for a quick tasty sandwich lunch stop. We could have shared but each ate half and saved half. Fresh quality and kind staff. Would come back!

Great place for a very filling meal after a dive. They let you know it might be a few minutes but it is worth the wait. Everyone in our group got something different and we all ended up sharing. Don't forget the view.

Possibly the most disappointing sandwich I've had in my life. I've heard great things about this spot, but based on my experience... I certainly wouldn't go again. The chicken was so dry and absolutely flavorless. No seasoning? Salt? Everything was poorly thrown together. I felt like I paid $17 for a sandwich Helen Keller could have made better.

After many years of enjoying one of the best deli’s on island, Turtles Deli is temporarily closing its doors for change of management. Located on the shores of Frederiksted, on the west side of the island, this family-owned business has served the community some of the best sandwiches on island. With previous owners retiring, the deli was purchased by new management, who will be offering much of the same menu that we’ve come to love, but with some new additions. Their initial focus will be to provide the same recipes and flavors and add a personal touch. Turtle’s Deli provides a great location for customers to enjoy a quality sandwich, with a cold brew and literally eat on the beach. I can’t wait for them to re-open!! Stay Tuned for their Updates and feel free to check out @eatingstcroix on Instagram or FB.

This place is amazing. Great BBQ, Cold beer, cold cocktails, and amazing staff. The first time I was here they had line dancing and someone would teach you before they began. Big TVs with sports on most of the time, and good music. Enjoy!

Excellent on drinks and cocktails however the food specifically the appetizer ( wings) were all under cooked and we have 4 orders 😩! Josh our server was amazing ! I’ll definitely give them an another try one more time in a few months!

I ordered the smoked turkey, pulled pork, beans, and fries. I was really excited about getting some good barbecue with some smoked flavor, but I was misled. The pork was watery with hardly any flavor, I guess you have to put a lot of sauce on it. But it didn't even taste smoked. The turkey was good. The mac and cheese looked really good in the skillet. Pictures online, unfortunately the noodles tasted like pickle water. I'm not sure what was wrong with the mac and cheese. I mean if you like pickles it would be great for you. But I'm not a pickle lover. And the mac and cheese came out separately so no pickles touched it. I was sure. I liked how the fries looked with the potato skin still on them. Unfortunately they were soggy and not fresh. The atmosphere is really cool and I suggest coming here for some drinks. But getting food somewhere else. The red sangria was good. If you like cats, this is the place for you. We had cats sitting on the bench with us while we were trying to eat.

The brisket Mac and cheese was awesome! I really enjoyed the turkey sandwich too. Skip the Texas toast though...it plain a d we didn't think it was worth getting again. We sat at the bar and David was terrific...top notch service and friendly. The environment was fun, but doesn't have good views of the water. I'm not sure what they normally have for draft beers as the machines were down, but they did have some good speciality drinks and canned beers. I'd definitely return!

Mac and cheese with Brisket was delicious. So delicious I had it 3 days in a row. Nice atmosphere especially if you’re sitting outside. Live DJ when I went on Sunday. Jason the bartender was on point. …..and for those of you that complain about the cats and flies maybe you shouldn’t go to the islands and eat outdoors. Find a place that has indoor dining. This place has both options.

Food was nasty/unpleasant. Ask the waiter how many wings come in an order, he said 10,but I only received 8, I asked why, he said it because your wings are big, and for big wings you only get 8. The wing were regular size wings and was never told this when i ordered, nevertheless they were didn't taste good and force myself to try and eat them. My party order brisket and couldn't finish their food as well, do to taste and dryness of the food.

We went to the Smoking Rooster on recommendation from a local. The food was delicious and the service was great! We had a party of 8 and we ordered a variety of entrees. The smoke pot roast po’ boy was delicious and you needed a fork to eat it. The brisket beans were amazing in my opinion. Several of our party got the Mac and Cheese and added a variety of add ons. The Mac and Cheese is served in a hot cast iron. The loaded fries were huge and so yummy. Two in our party got the smoked wings and they were nice size and really good. Our server was great and although some may not appreciate it, I did. We had several in our party who are old enough to drink on the island but just over 18. He carded each one of them and when they asked for more drinks he asked me (momma) if that was okay. I appreciated that he cared enough to do that! Be sure to add the Smoking Rooster to your list.

We received the recommendation from our snorkeling guide to try bombay so we decided to give it a try and were not disappointed! I had the Mixed Grill special with 1/2 lobster, mahi, shrimp, and got rice as my side. The lobster was the best we had on the island and the shrimp was cooked perfectly! The rice was a little dry and lacked a little in flavor, but everything else made up for it with flavor. Wife had the fettuccine special with beef, lobster, and shrimp. I had a few bites of hers and it was so good with the Alfredo sauce having a coconut flavor mixed in! Very satisfied with our meal would definitely go back!

OMG! The lobster/shrimp/crab chowder was amazing! Skip the cup and get the bowl … $11 and I guarantee it’s delicious! I also got the grilled mahi sandwich that comes with fries or another side. It was perfect too! Bombay is air conditioned and very comfortable to dine in. Plus, they were playing 70’s, 80’s & 90’s pop hits while I was dining and the service provided by my waitress, Francesca, was top notch! All in all, this dining experience was exquisite and the best that I’ve had on St Croix in my 8 days (so far) of being here! In the immortal words of The Terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger), “I’ll be back!”

Nice place. Not sure why people say there are mixed reviews. We had a good experience. I do recommend reservations. Showing up after 6 may not get you a seat otherwise. The architecture of the building is worth exploring. I heard it was an old Danish townhouse. Whatever it is, very cool. The place is laid back, they're on island time. It took a bit for appetizers and salads to come out. Sit back and have a drink. We tried the "Painkiller" and the "Cruzan confusion". Not too shabby. The staff was great and the bathrooms were clean. The food was good. I had some nice sized pork chops and a hearty serving of taters. The pasta was decent (get something with lobster in it) and the fish (mahi) was good. The appetizers (garlic bread and shrimp/conch) were ok. I'd go back. Prices were a little elevated but the portions were big. My oldest just wanted a "little meal" and got the chicken finger appetizer. It was the biggest and cheapest meal we got (15 bucks with fries).

Note: make a reservation! We didn’t have any issues because the staff was very accommodating but out of courtesy, we highly recommend making one! 😊 Staff was friendly and our waitress was so funny! Recommended some delicious dishes! We had a great evening and enjoyed our experience at The Bombay Club!

We thoroughly enjoyed The Bombay Club! Hands down the best food and most attentive service on St. Croix! I had the ribeye and it was cooked perfectly to order! My daughter had the fried chicken sandwich, which was so big I couldn't have eaten it in one sitting. My wife had Alfredo with shrimp, and my son had Buffalo wings. We all shared food and everything was excellent! Then we finished our meal with the chocolate turtle cheese cake! The cake was large enough we split it evenly between the four of us and our already full stomachs were satisfied 😌.

Shupe's on the Boardwalk is a popular stop in downtown Christiansted, St. Croix, known for its fresh and delicious burgers as well as ice-cold drinks. The casual bar and eatery offers a simple menu with hand-ground burgers and hand-cut fries served in paper bags. It is also famous for hosting events such as the epic St. Patrick's Day party, monthly full moon parties, private events, and live entertainment featuring DJs, bands, and other performers during the season.
Awesome place for a burger. We stopped in during a rain storm and found a seat right away. Their ordering process is amazing … you fill out your own order … so nothing can be wrong. The server (sorry didn’t get her name) was great and very attentive. We had an awesome view … a couple of adult beverages to go with our burgers … I would highly recommend.

I understand why this is a local hang out! Great food, friendly bartenders, and an incredible view. The food is basic, but good and the pour with a heavy hand. If I lived in St. Croix, this would be my cheers.
Kris M — Google review
In a great spot on the boardwalk with views of the water. The service was good. We had no idea they just serve burgers really. Kind of "fast food" to-go style even though you are eating inside. Comes in a brown bag for you to take out of the bag to eat. The burger was good. You really only need a single patty since they are a good size. The fries were ok. A pile of shoestring fries stuck together in the bag. A bit too greasy for my liking.
Tammy ( — Google review
Super friendly staff with fantastic views. The food was great and if you order the double cheeseburger make sure you're hungry because it's huge. The Cajun fries along with the wings were also great. Don't forget to take the chicken bones to the tarpon!!
V J — Google review
We had a really enjoyable time here! The bartender was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. We both ordered rum punches — the first was a little too strong for us, but he kindly made us another that was lighter while letting us keep the first one too. That was such a thoughtful gesture and very much appreciated. For food, we both had hamburgers. My husband ordered fries with Cajun seasoning, which were more flavorful compared to the rosemary & thyme fries I chose. Next time, I’d probably go with a different seasoning — maybe even try the truffle fries! Overall, the food was tasty, and the service really stood out. The atmosphere is very nice, with a great vibe and a beautiful boardwalk view. One small piece of feedback: the food was served in aluminum foil with plastic cups. Given the effort to avoid plastic straws (you can buy reusable metal ones for $1), it would feel more consistent — and environmentally friendly — to serve meals on actual plates. Not a deal-breaker at all, but something worth mentioning. All in all, delicious food, excellent drinks, and some of the friendliest service we’ve had. Definitely worth a visit! 🌴🍹🍔

We stopped here one night because it was one of very few places open after 9pm. We were very pleasantly surprised by the food, specifically the wings! Burgers were good as well. Fries were okay- fair style but not our favorite.

The location is beautiful and the view is masterful. I sort of expected a dive bar but was quickly seeing the quality in the food also not just prime location to have a meal. My cheeseburger was FaaaaanTastic! They have a simplified ordering process. The staff was friendly and clearly enjoyed working there. Places like this make me want to move here. The price was reasonable and the food was delicious. I probably won’t eat dinner after this lunch.

This became one of our favorites in St. Croix… so good that although we stayed in Frederiksted, before we left the island we drove back to eat there again! Although they are known for their hamburgers we fell in love with their chicken sandwich. See the picture… & yes it is as good as it looks. Huge portions, friendly service, great prices, cold beer and water views on the boardwalk. Recommend the garlic Parmesan fries which we also got twice as well. Easy ordering process where you fill out a sheet building the burger you want and lively bar with some chill moments as well based on timing!

Oh well this place is delicious. Honestly can't figure out why the overall ratings aren't higher? Sure, I was hungry when we stopped.. but these were some of the best tacos and one of the best meals I had while on St John. Ceviche and a tuna taco.. creative flavors and really fresh. Plus the cocktails were amazing. We were just there during the off season, so not as busy which is maybe why we had better luck? I dont know, regardless.. can't skip this place.

Amazing Experience at Lime Out VI! We had a fantastic time at Lime Out VI! The short rib and shrimp tacos were absolutely delicious, and the margaritas were refreshing. The unique adventure of taking a boat, anchoring, and then swimming up to the bar made our visit unforgettable. This is definitely a must-visit spot!

Had a group of six for this adventure. The tacos were better than we expected and drinks were great. My wife has gluten reactions and they provided a corn option. The fish seem to know when your food arrives, they swarm around your raft looking for handouts, pretty cool. Chatted with the other patrons and found several from our area of the country. Can't help but be in a great mood when floating, drinking and eating. The staff was very attentive and checked on you often, even gave us a runway show of a hat.

Fun unique experience. The tacos were fabulous, drinks were great and it was fun having fish swimming around our feet waiting for you to drop something. We used Captain Johnnycake for an inexpensive dingy ride over and he was awesome as well! Pulled right up to our Lilly pad and waited for us to finish. The lime out drink holders served us well the rest of the week to hold beverages for the beach and the uv shirts were super helpful.

What a wonderful experience on St. John!!! We did an amazing snorkel tour and then swam over to this restaurant. Such a fun experience to eat in the beautiful water. And the tacos were actually delicious! Service was phenomenal and the view was one to remember. We loved it (oh and the drinks were delicious). We definitely will return when we are back in St.John. And I wish we had come here more than once on our family vacation. It was SO fun!!

A must do while visiting USVI. The tacos were absolutely amazing and the drinks were also excellent. I recommend you carry a good amount of cash on you if you swim to the floaties (we spent about $300). The only con of the location is that it is in the bay so naturally the water does have an oil smell which can be unpleasant, especially when the boats pile in you can notice the exhaust smells. But overall what a great few hours to spend your time, let loose, drink amazing beach drinks, and eat some top notch tacos! Will return! 5 stars! Excellent service, friendly staff!

Came 5 years ago (March of 2019) totally different experience. It's now a tourist trap. Use to be able to just show up anchor, and enjoy tacos and drinks. It seems to be strictly charter's now. Not the same and it is a shame.

Super unique experience. We rented a dingy from Dockside Dingy (I highly suggest) and stopped at Lime Out after a day of snorkeling and fishing. You tie up your dingy and swim up to a floating taco bar where you order craft beverages and delightful tacos. It was a fun way to end our wonderful day.

Amazing experience! It's a niche setup not a total gimmick. I say that because the food (tacos) and drinks are legit. It's worth the experience. Recommend going early (at opening) if possible. Then you can watch people swim up rather than people watching you swim trying to find space. Great for the family. Floating seats and swim up bar and watch fish swim underneath. Had the pleasure to see "Fred" -- the local fish Shout out to Captain Johnny for taking us right to pad and not having to swim

We were thrilled to have a chance to experience Lime Out this year as our stay on the island last year was after they had closed for hurricane season. The whole concept is awesome and our server Sage was amazing!! Every single taco flavor was ordered between the four of us-absolutely delicious! Anyone who takes issues with prices needs to stick to Taco Bell stateside! 🤣 We will definitely be back next trip to STJ Thanks for taking such good care of us Sage!!

We took a boat shuttle out to the floating restaurant. Keep in mind if you do this, there is some swimming involved. Once at the restaurant, you can either sit at the floating bar on a stool, or pull yourself up on a floating "couch". The restaurant part of Lime Out is just for the employees. There were 6 of us and one of the "couches" held us all. The servers were very attentive and we had our cocktails floating over to us in no time. We tried many different varieties of tacos and they were all excellent. They easily accommodated my gluten allergy. The prices do seem a bit high, but the atmosphere is basically what you are paying for here as well as the food and drinks. We all had a great time.

What a cool concept! The tacos were some of the best we've ever had (especially the shrimp tacos)! Plenty of filling including meat and well worth it. While the drinks may seem pricey on the surface, they are served in oversized tumblers so you get good value. Excellent friendly service & highly recommended for a fun several hours in the St John sun.

French Quarter Bistro, situated in Charlotte Amalie's waterfront area of Frenchtown, is a charming restaurant owned by chef Michael Barry. This eatery offers a delightful fusion of French, American, Caribbean, and seafood cuisine. The menu features delectable signature dishes such as Cajun Shrimp and Grits, crab cakes, and Bouillabaisse - a classic French seafood stew.
Everything we ordered was spectacular! I had the Bourbon Steak Au Poirve. The sauce was very tasty and the steak was tender and not fatty. It was also served with the creamiest mashed potatoes that I've ever had. For our appetizer , we shared the Fried Zucchini. This too was crunchy and delicious. Others in our party ordered the Chicken Pasta Creole. This was extremely tasty and very filling. For dessert, we all shared the Brownie a la Mode. This was absolutely amazing. The brownie was rich and warm, and was complemented perfectly with an enormous scoop of vanilla ice cream. Service was very attentive. This place came recommended, and it certainly lived up to the hype.

Our server, Zack, did an excellent job and was attentive and timely throughout our meal. The food was beyond great — full of depth and flavor that truly exceeded my expectations. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared and perfectly balanced. If you’re visiting St. Thomas, do yourself a favor and give this place a try. You won’t be disappointed!

This spot is such a quiet, authentic gem. We loved everything about it. It didn’t feel tied to any fancy hotel scene — just relaxed and genuine. Our waitress, Lilly, was awesome: down-to-earth, helpful, and never pushy. Her recommendations were spot-on, the food was great, and we’d 100% come back.

Came here my first day on the island since this was really one of the places at the top of my list. We were gonna dine in but decided to take the food to go and head down to Brewers beach. BUTTTTTT what I really came to say was get the conch fritters and not just one order you'll be mad!!! I ate at so many places while on the island..... but I couldn't get over the conch fritters they were just really that damn good!!! For entrees we both got the blackened snapper which came with rice and a corn salsa which was 10/10. The drinks are also made well had French75 and it hit the spot can't wait to go back, also the food reheats well!!!

We had a great dinner here, the food was good and the waiter was great as well. I took one point off for atmosphere because we were seated right next to the loud kitchen entrance when half the restaurant was empty and we had to ask to move to another table, the waiter seemed annoyed at the request, but he got over it. We started with French onion soup and a salad, both were great. We then had the filet with red wine reduction (without the blue cheese topper) and the Salmon, again both were wonderful. Lastly we ended with the bananas foster bread pudding and the cheesecake, they were both amazing. All the food here seemed fresh and had amazing flavor. There is a reason this place has the reputation that it does. Our food was around $150 for 2 people plus gratuity so definitely not cheap either. This is definitely a top place to eat on St. Thomas.

Dropped by for late lunch/dinner. Drinks were wonderful. Baked brie with olives were phenomenal. The fire roasted pizza with that light and fluffy crust was incredible. Service was friendly and quick. View of the harbor is hard to beat as well.

St. Croix seems to be a pizza island—and why not? It's laid-back and perfect for it. Boardwalk Pizza by the sea is awesome! Great pizza in a great location. We were staying in Frederiksted and came to Christiansted for the evening—it was an excellent choice. The boardwalk had lots of fun food options, but I recommended the pizza place for its simplicity and shareability.

The best pizza ever! It was so delicious!! Small spot with a bar and pizza on the menu. We got the Meat Freak and The Absolute - they were phenomenal. Overlooks the harbor and has plenty of shade. We recommend!!

Very nice place! Like the theme and the atmosphere. Pizza was great, I got the buffalo ranch one. Waiters were great, only thing is she said she would bring a pitcher of water but never did. Otherwise tho it was great

The new owner Michael seems to be doing great things. The pizza was exactly what I was craving. The drinks are strong, our server Pete was fun, and really nice. We will definitely be back a few times before we leave the island.

Great food and great service!! The meat pizza was so good!! We wanted to grab lunch before heading to Buck Island so we decided to go with this place. We got our food in less than 20 mins. Best pizza we have had in a while! Almost ordered another to take back to our room for dinner.

I was shocked at how good the shrimp scampi pizza was! Picture doesn't come close to doing it justice. Also got the bushwacker drink I think it was called and it was delicious.

Absolutely loved our visit to The Mill in St. Croix! 🍕✨ The pizza is incredible — fresh ingredients, perfectly crisp crust, and that unmistakable flavor that only comes from a real pizza oven. Every bite was delicious and totally worth the stop. On top of that, the customer service is top notch! Audrey took such great care of us. She’s an absolute sweetheart and made us feel right at home. Friendly vibes, amazing food, and a charming atmosphere… what more could you ask for? If you’re in St. Croix, don’t miss The Mill. Your taste buds will thank you! 🙌🌴🔥

Impressive breakfast on island time. Lots of locals seem to start their day here, which is a good sign. Had rum cake french toast grilled to a crispy outside with a soft center, along with a side of two eggs, scrambled soft perfectly. A solid breakfast treat worth repeating.

BREW STX is a popular open-air restaurant, bar, and microbrewery situated on the Christiansted boardwalk in St. Croix. It's known for its freshly brewed mango lager and offers live music several nights a week, along with entertaining crab races on Mondays. The waterfront location provides a picturesque setting to enjoy craft beer flights while indulging in appetizers, sandwiches, and build-your-own salads.
Perfect spot to grab lunch and people watch. Staff were friendly and took good care of us. Would visit again! We tried the coconut shrimp and fish sandwich.
Ariel W — Google review
I had the Crispy Fish Sandwich with a side of hand-cut steak fries and it was absolutely delicious! The fish was perfectly breaded with just the right crunch, and the fresh toppings paired beautifully with the citrus aioli. The fries were seasoned just right and tasted homemade—not your typical frozen batch. We sat on the top deck and the view was just as good as the food. Between the ocean breeze, scenic harbor views, and relaxed vibe, it made for a perfect dining experience. Highly recommend Brew STX if you’re looking for great food and an even better atmosphere in Christiansted!
Tina W — Google review
Nice little restaurant on the boardwalk. Staff was pleasant. Mixed drinks are a in a smaller cup than usual and decent. Food was alright but could be a little better. We got the tuna which was good, the Asian slaw with it was fishy tasting and not so much. Rice with it was alright. Smaller portions. Atmosphere was nice as by the pier. Couple with us got the mahi taco and stated it was decent.

Perfect spot to grab lunch and good beer. Staff were friendly and took good care of us. It was my second visit to STX and here, definitely will visit again! We tried the shrimp and pasta.
Sheidaly M — Google review
Normally a Favorite, But This Visit Missed the Mark We’ve always enjoyed visiting this spot—great location, fun vibes, and usually solid food. Unfortunately, this visit didn’t live up to expectations. The restaurant seemed noticeably understaffed, particularly on the service side, and many items—both on the specials board and the regular menu—were unavailable, having already been 86’d. I ordered the mussels, but nearly half were either empty or completely closed. While the side of fries was decent, it took less than five minutes to finish the mussels due to the lack of edible portions. I mentioned this to our server, and the response was a bit puzzling—we were offered 50% off since “the mussels had been eaten,” even though the issue was that many of them weren’t edible to begin with. In any case, the closed shells ended up being a treat for the tarpons. The weekly Wednesday crab races are always a fun time, and we’ll definitely be back for those. That said, this experience was a letdown. If you’re planning to visit, I’d recommend avoiding Sunday evenings or late-night visits, especially during the transition to low season, when stock and staff may be stretched thin.
Tom K — Google review
Ordered Jerk Chicken Nachos for an appetizer. We didn’t mind the long wait because the crab races kept us entertained. We were initially brought the wrong appetizer,2 but that’s ok mistakes happen no big deal. When we got the chicken nachos and I had to dig around in it looking under nachos from a bag searching for the chicken I called The server over and asked if that was normal she said she would go get more chicken for it but then she came back a few minutes later and told me that the kitchen said they “put 2 layers” of chicken on it. You’re selling a $25 chicken nacho basket, not a chicken scavenger hunt. This thing needs to have chicken falling off the top. I sent it back and the guy behind the bar who may or may not have been a manager got very passive aggressive by loudly and repeatedly asking me “What you want me to do” I paid for our drinks and left.
Chad G — Google review
Brewtiful spot! Wonderful beers and mixed drinks. Mahi tacos were delicious. Live music was fun.
David W — Google review
We had such a great experience at Brew STX! I ordered the Cuban sandwich with mac & cheese, and my husband went with a burger and fries — both were absolutely delicious, perfectly seasoned, and super satisfying. For drinks, I tried the coconut lime (refreshing and tropical!) while he had the rum punch (amazing!), and they both hit the spot. The service was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, and the view from the boardwalk just made the whole meal even better. Considering the prime location, the prices are very reasonable too. Highly recommend Brew STX if you’re looking for tasty food, great drinks, and a fun, relaxed atmosphere right on the water! 🌴🍹🍔

Amazing pizza! This is a *must* in Frederiksted! Absolutely a must try. Wisconsinites here who love our pizza and cheese. Cheese Bread awesome too! Just like home & maybe better! Not busy at all right at 5 when they open. Bonus: drinks are very generous!!
Jennifer J — Google review
The atmosphere was unique, Ryan took excellent care of us, but the food was just okay.. I was not impressed with the food anywhere on the island to be honest, other than the Lerainne Chicken shack. This is a decent late night option as not many late night options exist. I think I would have liked it more if the crust wasn't so thin, and oh, a 14 inch pizza is 36.00. It would be 16.00 in the states, and though things cost more there, it's not THAT much more. We did get to watch an amazing pillow fight while there (ESPN goes deep with their professional sports).
K H — Google review
Its what you would expect for a dive bar. The best thing about the place was the waiter/baretender, he was friendly and fantastic! Pizza was nothing special, super thin crust. Its hard to find places to eat that are open late, and we probably won't visit again unless its a late night.
Amy S — Google review
Fun dive bar ambience and Ryan, our bartender, was super friendly. Food took a bit, but that seems to be the case everywhere here, and my god was it worth the wait. Delicious pizza!!! There are 3 gluten-friendly appetizers for those of us who can’t have it, too. My kids played foosball while we waited and lived the pizza, too.
Heidi K — Google review
Best pizza on the island, and some of the best I have had outside of Italy. Drinks were very generous and cheap. Pizza was not cheap, but worth every penny. Definitely a local atmosphere. It was a great place to get dinner the first night in Frederiksted. The bartender and locals answered all our questions to get the vacation off on the right foot. We went several times for drinks, and pizza was good enough it commanded a three-peat dinner performance. It was most satisfying after a night scuba dive off the pier.

Great place and ambiance! Kareoke in the outdoor bar is a must! KG is a sweetheart love her! Everyone here is so friendly and the food to die for.

Space is the sort of grunge you would find in a NY Bowery bar while the Strokes were on back in the early 2000s in nyc. Pizza is actually pretty good, As I absolutely crushed the BBQ chicken pizza and x4 rum and Coke’s. Come sober and hungry, leave happy from the lost dog. Place is truly a locals joint so if you feel like jamming with locals this is the place.

Saloni T — Google review
Twin City Coffee House and Gallery is one of the best cafés you can experience in the Christiansted downtown area. This locally-owned & operated gem of a coffeehouse has so much going for it! Their menu is always filled with delicious breakfast options and even seasonal favorites! Located on Company St , next to the corner with Sonya’s Jewelry, this café is right off the road and you can easily drive by it. You can see their sign from the street. Twin City Coffeehouse has a quaint patio area in front with group seating and only a limited amount of space inside. To order, walk-in, see their menu board and place your order with the kind & attentive local staff. Make sure to say “G’mawnin” or “G’afternoon” when you enter! 😊 Truly great service that is knowledgeable (so pick their brains about anything on island). Their menu has a plethora of goodies from: bagels, sandwiches, fruit bowls, oatmeal, salads, pancakes, wraps, burritos, omelettes and French toast. There’s also seasonal renditions of cultural flavors integrated into the menu like their coquito french toast! Not to mention your favorite coffee blends, one of which a scrumptious coquito latté! I REALLY love this café and its only downside is the limited seating space. In the past, there was a lovely quaint patio in the rear which was perfect for coffee dates away from others. But as I understand it, they had to place an alternative power generator back there due to the frequent power outages. Good for them! Businesses need to adapt to the islands faults. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend the Twin City Coffee House & Gallery when in Christiansted town.

Tonight, I had the pleasure of dining at Too Chez, and it turned out to be an unexpectedly delightful experience. Tucked away in the heart of Christiansted, this restaurant is truly a hidden gem. Upon arrival, I requested a seat at the bar and was pleasantly surprised to be taken to a cozy, air-conditioned bar located at the back of the property. There, I was fortunate to be served by Pasha, whose exceptional service truly elevated the evening. From thoughtful dish recommendations to attentive hospitality, Pasha ensured every detail was just right. The food was outstanding—from the fresh and flavorful starter salad to the perfectly prepared main course. The Zinfandel wine by the glass was also a standout, pairing beautifully with the meal. A sincere thank you to the entire team at Too Chez for a memorable evening. I’ll definitely be returning.

What a fabulous addition to Frederiksted! Great smoked food to go or dine there by the beach. The pulled pork and brisket are to die for, so are the ribs and slaw!

If I could make love to these ribs here I would. Honestly they were magically delicious. Overall this place is sort of amazing. Just a simple window stall right on the beach. Went here with Hope's of good food and a new place to give props to. I was so disappointed in what I received. I ordered the 3 meat plate (Chicken, Brisket, Pork) with Brisket Mac n Cheese, didnt have any Brisket flavor, and Cornbread. The chicken not so good, Brisket was OK, but the pork was like square cubes of the driest meat I have ever had. The container had no juice from the meat. It's was so disappointing I would not suggest this place nor will I return. My Hope's for decent BBQ on the island are over.

Wow! This was an incredible meal. My wife and I were staying at The Fred next door and decided that we couldn’t pass up the great smell coming from these smokers. My wife loved the half rack of ribs (gobbled them down in record time), and my plate of sausage, ribs, and chicken was delicious! My pirate salad and smoked Mac & cheese were great compliments to a great dinner. The highlight was the BBQ sauce made in house. The hottest flavor had heat and flavor and accented the meat perfectly. Definitely stop by this little restaurant. You won’t be disappointed! We did have to take our food to go, as there is no general seating, but they do encourage you to use Louie & Nacho if you’d like to eat onsite.

Fantastic!!!! I come from a city where we take BBQ seriously, and I was honestly expecting mediocre food because most of the food I've had on St Croix has been ok but not great (except for the fish, the fresh fish is to die for ). But Smoke STX blew my freaking mind. Tried the ribs, brisket, pulled pork, Mac and cheese, cornbread, and baked beans. All were top tier. The hellfire bbq sauce was my favorite, it's quite hot. Highly recommend if you're on the west side of the island.

Fabulous BBQ. I come from Ohio. I eat BBQ at least once a month if not more often back home. I own a smoker grill and know how to work it. This was some of the best BBQ I've had in a long time. It might not be quite competition-grade (the meat was too tender!) but the ribs and brisket were both cooked to the point where they fell apart easily. Tender, juicy, tasty. Excellent balance of smoke cooking, sweet, spiced flavor. Located in courtyard on the corner of Fisher+Strand St. No big sign when we went. Several black iron smokers out back, follow your nose.

Beautiful resort in St Johns. We loved our stay there. The beaches around the island are gorgeous. There are wild iguanas all around the resort. Grounds were kept clean and the pool was nice. Lots of amenities including pickleball, tennis, gym, and smoothies at the pool.

We arrived around 8 p.m. to a large property and were welcomed by a receptionist who was friendly and provided a clear explanation of the resort amenities. Our villa was spacious and clean, comfortably for four people. However, there was a noticeable, slightly odd smell when we entered, possibly from the washing machine or simply the age of the building.Parking was easy during our stay since there were few guests, but it could be challenging when the resort is busy. Because the property is so large, a car or golf cart service is essential for getting around. Our villa was conveniently located near a small pool, which we enjoyed. The kitchen was well equipped for anyone who wants to cook. Overall, it’s a roomy and well-equipped place for a relaxing stay, though the initial odor and potential parking issues are worth noting.

Long review incoming. Visited Sept 2025. Use the Westin’s transport because it made it very convenient and ended up being the cheaper option. Plus you can use your passes to go back and forth to St. Thomas for free. We came with family and in total had 3 villas in 2 different buildings. Building 27 was on top of a very steep hill which we walked a couple times but by the end we just started taking the shuttle instead of bothering. The view on the top of the hill is worth it though! We had multiple power outages and our building was being partially renovated during our stay. That part was annoying as they had furniture and cars parked all over the place. But our rooms were recently renovated and nice. This is the main reason for marking it 4 instead of 5 stars. There are great restaurants (mango deli and snorkels) that were visited a lot plus a pool bar and access to the beach front. You can also get to the local store and get groceries, it is just across the street and the shuttle will take you to the front of the resort so you walk about a third of a mile. We had plenty of space in our villa for 4 people, 2 adults and 2 teens. Kitchen and balcony, all made the trip relaxing because we had our own spaces. All the staff here was very nice and helpful. They have an events calendar so pay attention because we had free mimosas one day, a beer tasting another, and a yogurt parfait day as well. So it’s nice to have those fun little extras especially cause drinks and food are not cheap on the island. It was very relaxing and nice for a family. We stayed on the island the whole time. Overall this is a great place to spend time with family. It was quiet. I had some neighboring villas having parties but they ended by 10 and were not too loud.

Beautiful resort with the pier attached. Highly recommend taking the Westin ferry. Can take back and forth as you wish during your stay. Service is 50/50…either amazing or super rude. Room was super nice but in need of an update. So much cool wildlife to see.

St. John is 1 of the smaller virgin islands but so worth the visit. We are owners and this was our 1st visit here. Westin did not disappoint. From arrival to departure, I felt taken care of. The villa was amazing, comfortable, with stylish decor. The layout was a little off. Like you had to squeeze into spaces if you opened a door. Weird, but only a slight inconvenience. Shuttles are all across the property so you don't have to walk. Plus, you can call for 1 before you even leave your room or pick up a yellow phone to request 1. Everyone was nice. We were greeted on arrival to a nice rum punch cocktail. Non-alcoholic versions are available as well. Our luggage was delivered to our villa. We were checked in so quick. I've never gotten checked in without a "process" before. We asked for a resort tour around the property. It was nice.✅️ It may be cheaper to take the public ferry ⛴️ and all to the resort but I recommend going thru Westin. Iguanas 🦎 big and small love the island so brace yourself. 1 day, I even saw a stork. Gorgeous 😍 Deer are around too, but I'm used to them. 1 last tip. You have to take a taxi for almost any and everything because Cruz Bay is the closest town and not within walking distance. Probably not a safe walk either. The roads there are hilly, narrow, curvy, and I felt death was near every time 😂 Also, unless you are used to driving on the opposite side of the road, don't rent a car. Taxis are cheaper anyway. Or stay at the resort. You don't have to leave because they have everything. Unless you're a beach person. Taxis will take you. Westin has a wonderful pool but not a beach.

We have owned here for over 15 years. Three time owners and I can say without hesitation this property has gone down hill completely. Rooms are outdated and the staff are uneducated. Ownership is not like it was. We pay resort fees for other non owners to enjoy the resort. Since the Marriot take over this property has gone down hill drastically. We paid higher resort fees for a playground that has taken three years to begin construction. Most of the visitors are adults! We could have used updated gym equipment, as the equipment is the same as 15 years ago. Instead someone special got an outdoor playground for their grandkids. Master shower with a shower curtain. 😞 Just sad to see your investment dwindle. Pay close attention to the sales people's words. It is very deceptive. Ownership does not equal occupancy. That said if you can buy a specific week and specific villa you are set. If you own Marriott points you may not get to stay here. It has all changed and you need to ask questions specific to the place you want to stay and the time you would like to stay.

We enjoyed our stay here overall. The rooms could use a bit of updating, but they were comfortable and worked well for us and it was quiet. The service was great for the most part, though we were disappointed that the concierge we were assigned wasn’t available to welcome us and never responded to our email about restaurant reservations we booked through him. However the first shuttle driver we had, Neil, was amazing and we loved the welcome drinks they provided after we got off the ferry. One downside was that the on-site restaurants closed pretty early, and because our room was a bit far from the main activity areas, we often had to rely on the shuttle. It would be nice if they had some late night options past 9pm. That said, taxis were easy to access, and despite a few inconveniences, we had a good stay and enjoyed our time here.

My husband and I went for our 25th wedding Anniversary. When we got to the resort, they had upgraded us to an ocean view 2 bedroom suite. The staff was extremely friendly. Lewell one of the transport guys was hysterical and very knowledgeable about where we should go. The manager sent us a bottle of wine and card on our Anniversary. Raymond at the Snorkel’s pool bar makes some of the best rum punch on the island! It is dated but they are in the midst of renovation. We were told at some point in the near future they were going to close and redo the pool so make sure you verify it’s open. The food at Lemongrass Restaurant and the Mango market which has a small deli, grab and go items and especially the pizza was delicious! We would definitely recommend renting a jeep if going to be there for a few days. But there are always taxi’s available. Free parking although you will need a ride to your room but the golf carts run constantly or you can call to request one. We will definitely go back.

Grocery store
When visiting St. John, a stop at Starfish Market is essential for stocking up on groceries and snacks. This large supermarket in Cruz Bay offers a wide range of food items including fresh produce, deli meats, seafood, bakery goods, and more. It's the perfect place to grab essentials like milk, cheese, crackers, and beer before heading out for daily activities or relaxing at your accommodation.
Very very well stocked grocery store.. we are staying in Coral Bay and compared to the markets over there this one is amazing.. ha everything you could need.. still understand you are paying "Island pricing" aka high prices.. but that isn't avoidable on St. John..
Daniel R — Google review
4 stars for selection, location, parking and easy access. Convenient clean market filled with most of what most might need to get by (minus bug spray and other items you can purchase at the pharmacy.) Good selection of staple items. Prices are very very high St. John Island prices so prepare yourself if you are new to Island prices. For example….$9-12 for a bag of chips normally purchased for $4 in Florida. $20 for a frozen pizza that costs $10 in Florida. Typical across the Islands, but these were higher of the 3 markets we shopped. Those working the store were not friendly by any means, but store had 80% of what we needed! Bring bags or purchase them for a few dollars.
Ilena V — Google review
Not too overpriced for an island grocery store. Staff was great, eager to help with getting groceries to the car since they don't offer bags. Not a biggie, they did provide a few boxes to put things in. Would shop here again!
Jacoby S — Google review
Please remember to take reusable shopping bags! They have some available for purchase, and if you're grabbing more than just a few things, you'll certainly want to have a bag that's handy and won't add to an already pricey purchase. The staff is kind and helpful and very approachable. Your basic needs and lots of your wants can be met within this market. Just be prepared to spend a little extra for your tastes and understand that the selection of fresh fruits and vegetables and herbs is extremely limited. If you go in without any flexibility and sky-high expectations, you're in for a disappointment. I adore the Starfish Market and I'm so grateful to know that I can find what I need here when I visit.

They just sold me ARTIFICIAL aka Factory MADE cupcakes for $24 even though they were supposed to bake it. I am disgusted. Matter of fact ALLLL of their donuts, pastries, cupcakes, everything in there but the damn food is store bought and made to look like it's coming from the bakery! "Allegedly". Do yourself a favor and get the store bought from the other stores for $8.99 it taste better also
ChiChiN'Cosmos — Google review
Best store we went to near the Westin. They had all of our essential needs for food or other items.
Bryn C — Google review
One of the nicest grocery stores, St. John or St. Thomas that I was at. They have a small bakery and some hot food as well. Nice selection of groceries and alcohol.
Caitlin C — Google review
Grocery probably with the wides variety of products on St. John. It includes fresh fruits and vegetables. The same with frozen ones. As all these island groceries - they quite expensive. You can find one ATM inside, just like few more in front of the entrance.

Nestled in the charming Yacht Haven shopping center, Fat Turtle is a delightful island eatery that offers a relaxed vibe with stunning views of Charlotte Amalie harbor. This casual restaurant is celebrated for its hearty home-cooked barbecue and generous portions, perfect for sharing with family or friends. Guests can indulge in an array of mouthwatering dishes, including fresh lobster, spicy beer-steeped shrimp, and their signature Fat Turtle burgers.
Great view, the oxtails were delicious...we will definitely be back😎

I love the atmosphere on the deck right at the harbor, especially in the evenings, when the massive cruise ships are gliding silently out of the harbor, only a couple hundred feet away. You are surrounded by luxury yachts. Food and drink prices are in line with others on the island, this one on the more reasonable side.
Marc W — Google review
The atmosphere is awesome and the staff is super friendly and helpful. I think the menu should expand a little though. The drinks are delightful and the delivery of food is creative and sleek. There is plenty of parking and bathrooms are near by. The open air and old fashion light bulbs gives a nice effect. I really enjoy going there.

Great food and view!!! Just be ready for the iguanas to walk up to you. I guess they are hungry also lol.

Awesome pizza. Fair prices. We got a take out order of an appetizer that was really small for what we thought we were getting. When we said something the next day, the very nice manager bought us beers. The atmosphere is super casual and waterfront. We'll be back!
Gypsy S — Google review
Pros are the great view and open air tables overlooking the harbor, but the service and speed are not very good. We asked to take a large table outside and ended up waiting over 30 minutes to get a menu and drink order taken. For the second round, we had to hunt down the waitress. Beers were actually pretty well priced at happy hour. it It was a great place to relax and enjoy the scenery, but the service could be improved.
Tyler L — Google review
Server said they didn't have a beer that was clearly on display. Her personality? Not much. Fish was good/chips, boring, just like England! I had the happy hour tacos and wings, both were tasty. Happy hour prices were great. But the service ruined the experience.
Brian L — Google review
The food was good although a little pricey for a burger and a wrap. The service was super slow and it wasn't busy at all. Only three tables occupied and 4 servers working. My wife and I had to go to the bar to get a refill on our drinks since the server never came around to check and didn't offer when the food finally arrived. The only reason I give this place 3-stars is the view. Right on the water overlooking the massive yachts.

Definitely the place to go for pizza on the Island!!!Excellent pizza place with the friendliest owner or manager. We didn’t ask which he was but he was awesome!! The pizza was absolutely delicious. It was cooked perfectly. We failed to ask how many slices in the pizzas and ended up ordering 20” for 2 people! 😀Biggest pizza I’ve pretty much ever ordered. Two large slices and each of us were wiped out. Just know that the 20 inch (for close to $38) can easily feed anywhere from 4-6 depending on your appetite! We ordered the Hawaiian selection and kept the ham off of one side. So darn delicious!! We also ordered the spinach broccoli lasagna! It was excellent! Large pizza and a spinach broccoli lasagna were ready in under 20 minutes! So happy we discovered this restaurant for our future trips to St.Thomas!

We were looking for a good pizza on St. Thomas and this one many great reviews, so we gave it a try. It did not disappoint. The Hawaiian pizza 🍕 was tasty and filling. Even in day 2, the leftovers were outstanding. Five stars!

This was the best pizza I've had since leaving Chicago. And tied for the best meal I've had on the island. The owner was extremely friendly and great to talk to.

Great pizza! Huge pies! Worth the price. Got take out. My family is happy! Perfect to end a beautiful day! Thanks!

We were having a beer next door at Leatherback Brewery and the owner suggested we order a pizza from next door since his kitchen was closed. It was well worth it. The crust was perfect, not too crisp and not too chewy. The toppings were the right amount. It tasted so good, and they delivered it to us in the brewery!

Stopped here for a quick bite and was pleasantly surprised. The slices are HUGE so almost 1 is enough. Got the Hawaiian and The Works and they did not disappoint.

Best pizza on island- heard it, went there and now believe it. Great pizza NY style. Great crust perfectly cooked. Great choices.
Rodney K — Google review
Big pizzas, expensive island price. 2x18” cheese and one 20” deluxe was $81. Ours were undercooked but if a bit longer would’ve been five stars although maybe personal preference.
