I ate dinner here twice and both times I was very satisfied. The pizzas are delicious and a good size (if you get the largest size). The prices overall are pretty reasonable (bit more on the expensive side). Nevertheless I really enjoyed eating here with my friends and the staff was great!

la cucina is so popular among tourist. one of the best italian restaurant in bajo. ordered pizza, gnocchi, and spaghetti. they have large portion for just two of us. taste was good, cozy place. everything was nice :)

I felt this place was over rated. It is super crowded in the evenings so be prepared for a long wait. Food was average, nothing to write home about. They have gluten free pizzas and pastas, though the staff didn't seem properly educated on what gluten free actually means. But if you have gluten allergy and miss pizza or pasta, here's an option for you. I ordered a mixed vegetable pizza and it was just ok. The tuna I ordered was very... passable. Their tiramisu was disappointing, pannacotta was great.

Restaurant with a pretty interior. They offer a variety of Italian dishes, even freshly made pasta. The gnocchi I had tastes great, although the sauce could use a little bit more seasoning in my opinion. On the other hand, the oreo milkshake I had was great.

A group of happy, smiling, very polite young staff serve you really fast with food that loudly tells you to come back. Truly good and tasty lunch big enough if you are hungry. Not expensive. Real pizza, delicious spaghetti, amazing tiramisu and fresh juices that you remember long after. Recommend!

After several days eating Indonesian foods, it’s good to have a different cuisine. Salmon rolls was tasty but came with thin salmon. Noodle was topped with cooked tuna cube. The restaurant only serves tuna and salmon. I think that tuna is the best to be eaten raw not well done. As there is no pork on the island, therefore the noodles were quite limited for Japanese cuisine.

Please make yourself a favour and visit this place, not only they have tons of vegan options, they have a sustainable caught fish and eggs from free range. Additionally it’s led by all female team. The service is incredible and super nice, stuff speaks good English and are very friendly (I ordered cappuccino with oat milk, they gave me accidentally a cow milk instead and when I pointed it out they were super professional and solved the situation with zero stress and were very apologetic - exactly what you want in this scenario ❤️). Thank you so much and hopefully I will have a pleasure to visit again. Ahh and the tofu katsu wrap was incredible 🤤.

We ate here twice! Absolutely loved Happy Banana Komodo! Great vibes, friendly staff, and super fresh sushi and seafood. 🍣 The ramen is hands down the best in town — rich, flavorful, and so comforting after a long day exploring.

Very good food and lovely atmosphere and service. Great selection inc lots of veggie and vegan options, all day breakfast etc. Vegan poke bowl and veggie katsu bowl were amazing, smoothies all very good and fresh and coffee great too. Prices are decent for the quality and freshness. Good healthy food.

Great food, lovely service and nice vibes. The waitresses were all so friendly and quick- and the food was truly delicious. I had a tuna poke bowl which was bustling with flavour and colour! The tuna was clearly very fresh and delicious. Really would recommend this as a choice.

Really goood food!! Vegan and vegetarian options. Try the sushi, and the mango cheesecake was tasty! A little bit expensive in comparison with other places, but fresh fish it’s always a little bit pricey.

Overall experience from this place is amazing, great atmosphere, beautiful flowers everywhere, very clean environment and friendly waitress. The only disappointment was food 🫣 dry meat with sauce that tasted like tomatoes from canned sardines, and eggplant so oily you could squeeze it to the cup 🤦‍♂️ first time in few months in Indonesia where I really didn’t enjoy the food I was served.. but it could be just my taste 🤷‍♂️

It located just a few steps from our hotel. Just located in the heart of bustling city. The ambience was elegant, menu has a lot ot varieties. Seafood was so fresh. The price is ok for a local restaurants. Not so cheap but not so expensive. People are very kind.

i loveeeeeee this restaurant!!! we came to bajo for a sailing trip for 3d2n and extended our stay for a day, and that last day in bajo was the day we found this restaurant 🥹 we had lunch here, ordered the ikan bakar ATM, buncis bawang putih, and a cumi goreng tepung telur asin. the 3 menus we ordered were heavenly so good omggg till we ordered extra rice hahaha and it’s not that expensive for a meal that good 🥹🫶🏻🫶🏻 plus they have an eye-pleasing view 😆

Amazing view. Food was good but service was a bit on slower end and very dark if you choose to do the outdoor seatings. Ordered a variety food and taste pretty good. More on the pricier end.

Had the best solo Birthday dinner here. Ordered a little way to much for myself but who cares. I only turn 44 once. Service was great. The waiter even told me if i ordered too much. The view of the sunset was the highlight of the evening. During peak season, better make a reservation for your spot viewing the sunset.

Great food, no joke best fried cuttlefish I had! so tender inside crispy outside and I could finish a whole plate by myself. Came on two days and the fish is really good too, first time having fish bbq and the fish with lychee sauce is also good. Chicken satay was a bit dry since they didn't use chicken thigh/leg I suspect its breast meat. The soup was really good tastes like thai curry! The sunset view here is also gorgeous highly recommended!

Visited Taman Laut Seafood Handayani Restaurant last night. The staff were friendly and accommodating — they even helped us move to a table with the best view once it became available. The food was delicious. We ordered sweet sauce grilled fish, salted egg squid, chili kangkong with papaya flower, grilled clams, stir-fried broccoli with beef, and seafood fried rice. Everything tasted great. It would have been even better if the fish had been more thoroughly marinated. Overall, great experience!

The seafood is good! There's not much option for a solo traveller and I've chosen a platter of seafood that is meant for solo portion. Squid and prawn was my favourite! Its a chill spot to watch the sunset. The only downside is that you will have to go earlier to book your spot for the sunset view. I would definitely visit again!

I ordered 4 main dishes: cumi bakar madu (honey-grilled squid), udang saus mentega (prawns in butter sauce), tumis kangkung bunga pepaya (stir-fried kangkung with papaya flowers), and ikan bakar dua rasa (grilled fish with two flavors— rica and parape). And of course, as any Indonesian would, I had to get sambal pencit to go with the grilled fish. Every dish was tasty and flavorful. My personal favorites were the prawns in butter sauce and the parape-style grilled fish—perfectly seasoned! Overall, I’d definitely recommend dining here. Plus, the view is absolutely beautiful 🌊✨

Good view from the upper floor and good design interior as well. But I think they have to improve the menu variety. Indonesian/Asian menu is not available. They don't even have pasta on their menus. And yes please add light meals because some people doesn't comes here for a heavy one.

Nice location, great food, ambient music.. but the drink prices with added tax at 16% is extortionate even for a water. Everything else even the service provided was top notch. Highly recommend, but not for the budget traveller unless you've got a cheque book. The dessert quantity and the taste was 5*

Delicious food, really cool building and decor, great staff and service, super view from the upstairs restaurant, reasonable prices (500k Rupiah for meal for two including starter, drinks and taxes). One of the few gems you will find in Labuhanbajo.

Nice restaurant with really great service and a very nice preparation of the food. When it comes to the pizzas they are ok but would be great if they stay a bit longer in the oven to be more crispy and I would add a bit more sold to the dough. But I think this is a matter of personal taste. The desert was outstanding!

A good italinese restaurant in town. The restaurant is just on the roadside but also has entrance from the pier. Food was magnificent, there is an array choice of western or local food. They are also famous with thin crust wood fire baked pizza, it was lovely. Service from staff was excellent. Ambience was really good for simple hanging out or dining. We took a lunch here, I was hoping for a pizza but these are available after 17:00. Interior has not only tables for seating but also bean bags if that's what you like. Plenty of room with tables for couples up to large groups. The seating is hard chairs with padding so nice and comfortable. No air con but fan cooled as it's an open restaurant. We ordered a vegetarian mezzaluna, squid ink spaghetti and a vegetarian nasi goreng. Food was swiftly delivered and all together as requested. The mezzaluna is a small portion but very tasty. Filling and sauce were both nice and the pasta was al dente on our visit. The squid ink spaghetti was very tasty my girlfriend said, the anchovies were a great accompaniment to the sauce but being Thai she would of liked it more spicy. The spaghetti only had 1 chilli rating so if you like a spicy dish request it more spicy. The nasi goreng was amazing! Yet again a small size but with what we had and this to share we were stuffed afterwards. There looked like a good selection of wines available, with different beers to. Service was fantastic, very friendly helpful and polite. Our service girl even had a laugh with us which we like. The restaurant was super close to where we were staying so we figured we give it a shot. The staff was friendly and the food service was fast. It’s a little bit expensive and not the greatest portions sizes for what you pay but it was good. It’s offer free WiFi that was fast.

I was not impressed at all with this place. If you want to pay a lot of money for bad food, go ahead, but I wouldn't go back again. There were a couple of positives about it. First, the atmosphere is nice, with comfortable bean bags to sit on. Second, the presentation of the food is done pretty well. Those are the best things I can say, because everything else was bad. The food tasted bad, even though it looked good. They pretend to be fancy by doing the smear of tasteless sauce on the plate. The fish I ordered was inferior in taste to the fish I got down the road at the fish market, but it cost much more. It was served on a bed of limp and almost rotten lettuce, which I did not eat because it was already turning brown. When I showed the server, she just shrugged and didn't care at all.

Was not at all impressed with the food. Fancy description of food but was served below average dishes. Presentation was way better than taste. Coming here at night was a feast- for the mosquitoes.

Was there the first time. Actually asked one guy at the front eating his dinner how the burgers are and he said they were awesome. So I really needed to give it a try and it was the best decision ever. I got the beef burger with rosemary and garlic wedges and they were freaking awesome really recommendation !!!!

Top place. Great burgers. Beef and chicken burgers have a choice of sizes, small, regular and double. Other burgers are regular size. There are other things on the menus as well. There is beer, ice tea and soft drinks available. The service is exceptional and friendly. Great spot and no service fees.

Really good food and friendly staff. I ordered a regular sized burger and it was very filling. Great value for money as fries come with it. I would definitely recommend this spot if you're in Labuan Bajo.

I kid you not…the Wagyu burger was the best burger I have had in a LONGGGG TIME!! If you are craving a burger, this is the place to be (my friend had the double burger which is one of the photos: he says “너무 맛있어“)

Such a great venue, with good service, a spectacular view and a lot of potential. Highly recommended for a drink or special occasion during a trip to Labuan Bajo. I suspect bookings might be needed. When we arrived shortly before sunset on a Friday, the bar wasn't staffed or set up. Arrangements were made promptly, nonetheless. Also, the cocktails are quite expensive (IDR200K or more) for Indonesia. This would be fine if the recipes were more elaborate, but they mostly only have one type of alcohol. This is more like a long drink. Despite the shortcomings, I would come back for the view, venue and friendly service.

Came here for the hookah; it was great, we got the mango lassi flavor. Drinks were nice too. Only tried the “chip ship,” which was kind of disappointing- but I’m not a huge fan of fries anyway. The view was amazing and vibe was dope

We came to this bar with high hopes after being recommended by friends to come. However, we were sadly let down by the service. One member of our party ordered a specific drink, along with other drinks and food items that we ordered. After 5 minutes, another waitress came and suggested that we "upgrade" the drink to another one which was more than twice the price. We said no thank you, but the waitress came with the "upgraded" drink anyway. When we tried to explain that we had actually ordered another drink, the bar tried to insist that we had ordered the "upgraded" drink and so could not send it back to the bar. After some back and forth, another waitress eventually gave us the drink we had wanted, but said that we had to pay for the "upgraded" drink as the drink was expensive and had already been made. Out of kindness, we decided to just pay for the drink as requested. But while we accept that it was an honest mistake and might be a translation issue, we were very disappointed that we were asked to pay for a mistake which was not our's. It also made us wonder if this was a deliberate policy to "upgrade" drinks for customers to get more money. On the plus side, the bar had excellent atmosphere and was otherwise a lovely place to be at, so it was a pity that our experience had to be let down by this.

This is the place if you're looking for good Indonesian foods. The taste was good, the looks quite neat and boosting the appetite, and the atmosphere was pretty chill with both outdoor and indoor area. They serve many kinds of Indonesian dishes, but the favorite dishes here is their seafoods. Pretty recommended and close to the airport.

Open seatings, clean, friendly staff with affordable meals. Try their Nasi campur ayam (fried and grill version) along with oxtail soups along with veggies. A great variety of beverages.

I had the nasi goreng kepiting mai ceng'go and another time I had the ikan goreng rempah mai ceng'go. The nasi had lots of rice and very little crab, but tasted good. I didn't like the taste of the latter. I think the dishes are better to be shared, because it's a lot of one type of food. The ikan for example only consisted of fish, nothing else. The interior and atmosphere were very nice.

Except for the Asam Pedas sup Ikan, the fish were still raw inside and we requested to change the fish but they did not change it instead they recooked the whole thing which is quite disappointing.. Overall we were satisfied with the food there except for that soup.

this place is close to the airport. it's spacious and has a good view. they don't have air conditioning, but it's an open space. it's still pretty hot, though. you can pay using your card here. sadly, the food is not good enough. the food looks much different with the picture on the menu. the portion is small and it's expensive. the taste is bland. the seasoning is not enough. bottom line, it's not worth the price.

This is a decent restaurant with views across the sea. We’ve been here twice now as a family, and had decent food both times. We had roast chicken, pizzas, Tom yam soup, stuffed chicken, calamari all of which was a 4/5 The place has 2 floors and the downstairs is cooler. There is only 1 toilet

Killer view and great ambience. The place feels open and inviting for any type of dining. We tried several dishes and the most memorable was pizza and tuna carpaccio. Really recommend to at least try this place once when in Labuan Bajo!

extremely pricey for the low quality. I paid 170k for an overcooked pasta and pineapple juice. The bolognese barely had any meat and was watery. The menu said the tagliatelle is homemade but it's definitely not homemade pasta. My pineapple juice tasted like water too. The place itself has a great view and perfect for sunset, but crawling with ants.

Great view out to sea. Little wait for the food to come but that grilled fish was really delicious. Light and well seasoned with spices. Definitely one dish to try.

Good food, beautiful view and super friendly staff. One of the reasons we enjoyed Labuan Bajo so much was this Cafe. The cold press juices are wonderful! But the highlight is the butter croissant. So simple, yet so delicious. Highly recommend!!

Delicious pastries with a truly authentic French flavor. Our croissant and lemon bread were served warm, toasted, and scrumptious. I also ordered a green juice with fresh ginger and it was perfectly prepared. Service was friendly and the setting was beautiful, right on the bay, overlooking the ships of Labuan Bajo. Wow... a MUST GO!!! All of the food we had was absolutely delicious! They are located on the second floor of the mall. Breakfast or Lunch, you will not be disappointed. Matter of fact, im willing to bet you will go more than once if you have the time. Food is amazing and the staff are great as well.

Went here for 2nd breakfast coz I had a coffee at another coffee shop early morning. The Hot latte taste not suite me. The coffee bean more to acidic as I can teste sour in my coffee. The consistency was just nice. Pastry: just average. I mean it met my expectations.

The service was amazing. The staff were all incredible friendly and sweet. We ordered a smoothie and a fresh juice which were delicious as the fruits were fresh. The moment I sat down—completely alone—I started wondering if those “great reviews” might actually be fake, as some people had pointed out. Sadly, it seems likely. I ordered the grilled Nasi Ikan Bakar, and the difference between the thick fillet shown on the menu and the flat, bony piece I got was… impressive, in the worst way. It tasted burnt and oddly sweet, and when I flipped it over, the underside was completely black. Don’t these people know that’s actually unhealthy? Definitely wouldn’t come back.

Craving for Chinese foods so i came here ,staff are friendly and so helpful but to be honest not really authentic Chinese foods but it’s better than nothing :) It’s value for money as it’s cheap .

We went Back to this place for the second time as well for dinner. We loved there Hong signature sauce in prawns, lobster & softshell crab. Must try seafood restaurant on the island and Hong suace is sweet and sour taste, will be appreciated by folks with Chinese & Curry lovers. All of the food we tried was fresh and tasty. I rate 4 because not all dishes hit 5 for me, mostly did though. After spending 2 weeks in this island, I would definitely recommend few meals here for seafood.

This could be the most authentic Chinese food in Indonesia (two thumbs up to the chef). Even though the food potion is a bit small (so make sure you order a little more), yet each dish comes with big taste. The restaurant extremely clean and the AC is cold enough to allow better comfort and enjoyment. The service staff is very friendly and attentive. It fully satisfied two world travelers’ craving for authentic Chinese food!

The vibe of the place is amazing. Unfortunately, foods that were ordered were below par. Har gao ordered was mediocre. Fried wonton was oily. Black pepper crab was meatless. Surprised that it has high rating. I hope it can improve significantly

We had the cheese platter, pizza marco and marinara risotto, and it was all delicious! Especially the cheese platter. It's so hard to find good cheese platters here in Asia but they really nailed it. The risotto was tasty and creamy, and the pizza was really good as well. I genuinely don't understand why this place doesn't have higher ratings.

Spent my last night in Labuan Bajo enjoying an Italian meal that truly impressed me. The flavors instantly brought back memories of the authentic cuisine I had in Bologna, Italy. A wonderful surprise to find such genuine Italian taste here

Absolutely one of the best meals we have had in Komodo. Authentic Italian food, thoughtful service and chill environment. We ordered the Marinara risotto and the Marco pizza. The risotto was flavourful, full of fresh seafood and the pizza had quality chess and the perfect crust. We devoured our meal! Not to mention how it offers free pick-up and drop-off which was so convenient! 10/10!

The restaurant is further north and in a fairly quiet location. It offers outdoor open deck dining with a great view of the sea and sunset, as well as indoor dining. We had the salmon and prawns, both of which were good.

I always have no expectation when i wanted to visit such big name of restaurant or hotel, that is will makes me feel nothing to lose but I’m very disappointed with my experience at ATLANTIS BY PLATARAN. The service was not only poor but also made me feel uncomfortable due to discriminatory behavior from the staff. Every guest deserves to be treated with fairness, regardless of who they are (local or expatriate). Unfortunately, that was not the case during my visit. The staff seemed inattentive and dismissive, while other guests received much better treatment. This kind of behavior is unacceptable in any hospitality setting. Me and my friend ordered first than another table, unfortunately the waitress not directly pass our order to the system instead, she went to another table to took the order while we saw theres another server is only standing still instead of initiative handle that table and at that time only 5tables occupied with 3 server and 1 runner. Unbelievable! After more than 40minutes our food not being served and they served food for another table, and we asked “why our food is not ready?” The waitress simply say “makanan bapak sudah ready kok mau diantar” the fact is we need to wait 10minutes more! After that none of the server coming to our table to check us, i think they are just not ready and doesn't have Courage to check us, hope the management takes this seriously, provides proper training, and ensures that all guests are treated equally moving forward.

Stunning property... Definitely would love to come and stay here. However, they need to improve the quality of food at their restaurant. We ordered Indonesian food and they were all underwhelming. Staff were very friendly and their service very good!!

Great views for the sunset but we were the only guests at 5pm. I ordered a mojito and banana milkshake, but they didn't have fruits. Also from the beers they only had Bintang, although in the menu there were many options. Also the menu that was given to us had plenty of missing pages and the waiter never came to our table, we had to look for him around the premise. Maybe it's better at night.

Great location for watching the sunset, but the service left a lot to be desired. We rocked up right as they opened (5pm) and asked about a happy hour. The guy behind the counter said he could do us a happy hour (5pm-7pm) with a special gin-based drink. When we went to pay at the end, he told us it'd be the same price as normal, no reduced rate. What's the point of calling it a happy hour then? Go there and enjoy the drinks + sunset, but don't believe them if they say there are special deals on.

Great place to have a drink and enjoy sunset view. During night time they habe live music. Hope we can enjoy it during our next stay when we have more time.

Literally the worst “nachos” and French fries I’ve ever had. Nachos tasted like decades old, stale Fritos and the salsa was some cousin of mayonnaise. The French fries were fried in butter? Idk still trying to figure that one out. Drinks were okay- not amazing but not nearly as offensive as the food. Great view though 🤌

Fantastic food- we got the Australian wagu burger and tried at least 6 or 7 of the drinks over the time we were in Labuan. We had both a lunch and dinner here The drinks are served with a story, the bartenders are fantastic, and the food is high quality but well priced. They have TONS of unique syrups and bitters. The staff try them daily to ensure they aren’t spoiling, and that allows for so many unique Indonesian cocktails. Rio is a fantastic bartender!

My friend and I were there for many hours on a taco Tuesday and it was phenomenal! The BEST craft cocktails and the tacos were to die for. Dudud and Kon were incredible servers and were very helpful and friendly. We have two days in Labuan Bajo and both days will be here for meals :) Highly recommend!

Loved everything about this place! We didn’t eat, we just had some drink and they were amazing! Variety of choices from their drink list which is really particular and worth to try. Also, the service is amazing, they gave us a glass of water and a little snack. Would definitely come back for drinks!

Amazing cocktails, very creative. Great vibe, really friendly staff. Very clean throughout. Came here based off reviews and can say this is a great restaurant to visit if you’re in town. Friendly staff and great food. Price is reasonable and fairly priced. I would recommend coming here if you are near by looking for a decent eat.

It was a refreshing change from the usual restaurants around. Cocktails on par. The cocktail menu was very interesting and themed after Magellens sea explorations on his way to Indonasia. I had the slow-cooked beef tacos for my meal. It wasn't the expected Mexican tacos but their take on tacos and it tasted excellent. If you want to treat yourself this restaurant is a good choice.

Definitely one of the best spots in Labuan Bajo! MUST TRY the “Spicy Tuna Tartare and Barracuda Carpaccio” both super fresh and full of flavor. Everything was absolutely perfect! The food, the service & atmosphere all 10/10. The pasta was cooked perfectly, the seafood was super fresh, and the staff were so kind and attentive. Definitely will coming back! 🤩❤️

This is our second night in a row eating at Baccalá. That’s how much we loved it the first time! The second time only got better, trying new dishes from their “daily menu”. The restaurant has the most amazing fresh seafood plates! The staff is super kind and we would not mind coming back again. 100/10

Tuna Tartar was foccacia was amazing, fish was fresh! Octopus pasta was yummy too! Best of all service was superb, they were closing but made an exception to cook the last meal for us. Thank you!

What a great find, this is probably the best restaurant in Labuan Bajo. We had the octopus salad and the red snapper and both were perfectly cooked and super tasty. The staff are lovely and it's a nice atmosphere. The only thing is that it's a bit pricey, but you definitely get high quality food.

The “polpo” was great. The fried shrimp was bad, they were small, with partial head and tail and did not taste good. The egg plant was good. The ice tea lemon was small and nothing special. Service was slow.

Had a quick breakfast at the café, and I have to say—it’s the best cake I’ve had during my time in Labuan Bajo! The watermelon juice was also super refreshing. The service was fast, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Another big plus is the calm and cozy atmosphere, with a stunning 360-degree view overlooking the sea and surrounding islands. I’ll definitely come back to try their other menu items!

Booked the hostel room for two nights at Escape Bajo and it the bunk beds were big and super comfortable. Toilets and shower were also soooo clean! Got a welcome drink & free breakfast so that was really nice. Location was not too far from other shops still walkable. Service by staffs was also very good and so friendly :)

I stayed there for 2 nights in the sea-view room. The air con was troubled (not giving some cool air) by the time we enter the room, but the staff & technicians were really responsive & quickly repair it. The view from the room is amazing. You can straightly see the sunset from the comfort of your bed. They also have some kind of a little public lounge area inside the building, and water dispenser to refill your water. You can also rent a scooter from them for 100k/24 hours

Only visited the restaurant. The Nasi Goreng was the best, I've tasted in Indonesia. The view is absolutely stunning from the rooftop. Highly recommended!

We visited this place for the breathtaking view and the delectable food, and both aspects were truly exceptional. We opted for the open high table overlooking the coast, where we had the privilege of witnessing a stunning sunset. Our drinks were Bintang, and ordered a plate of which was okay, but it lacked a certain depth of flavor. I believe they should infuse it with more taste to enhance its overall enjoyment.

Recommended for leisure and cafe for work. Very peaceful and beautiful view. The place is also close to the airport. The foods are nice as well. I ordered their Breakfast platter and Chicken Burger. The breakfast platter has carrot muffin that is very delish. The chicken burger is very juicy!

Great sea view, nice filtered coffee. Stayed here for one night, chanting started at 4:30am which obviously was not ideal. The room also had a smoke smell, AC can be quite loud. Other than these, spacious and clean place at a good location.

Great Japanese dining, very good food and very nice ambience. Its Japanese style kitchen and bar area are great. The design and the setting of the restaurant are the same as what we can see mostly in Japan. The food is truly a fine dining quality. It has a lot of alcohol selections, from beer, spirits, wine, and sake. Anyways, this hotel has a lot to offer and to explore.

It was a good experience. The ambience and atmosphere is really nice. The taste of the food was incredible. The service was impeccable as well.

Servers are friendly and able to speak English. The restaurant aesthetic is on point for the “zen” approach. Food was great and menu options has a variety options.

I had irrecovably such an mediocre experience in Japanese dining here. The server was unknowledgeable about the menu. I asked what were the choices of Sashimi they had for the platter it came out differently. The selection of the Teppanyakki menu was scarce. They don't even have Tamago Tofu nor Konnyaku. The only good thing about this place was the sake. The servers just wouldn't leave you in peace they just couldn't wait to clear the table. The Teppanyakki chef was mildly entertaining. Overall the food taste was vociferously dull. The manager didn't even want to offer the variety of ice cream they got for dessert. They only wanted an easy thing to serve Vanilla Ice Cream. They do not have Chocolate Ice Cream!!! I got to say this was such an undistinguished expensively charged Japanese dining experience. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I ordered their food from Grab. They packed the soup by plastic bag, not even a plastic box, and it’s everywhere in the bag, to be honest the ox tail soup taste just ok and u: a little bit sour I don’t know why, the fried noodle shows on photo is fat noodle, but it’s actually thin noodle and it’s very sweet. The price on Grab is more expensive than in the shop.

Kinda Indonesian food warung. The price start fro 20K- 50K. They serve fresh food and the most favorite Ikan Kuah Asam. Nasi tempong quite good idea for Indonesian taste and try for Happy soda. It might be busy during dinner time, you need to wait for food come until 30 minutes.

One of the best local food I have had. Went there to have oxtail soup, but they ran out of it by 7pm. So, had Fish soup (Ikan Kuah) on the staff's suggestion and was pleasantly surprised. They give you the soup with rice and it's very soulfully tasty. IDR 45,000. Do not expect the place to be with best possible facilities. It's a very normal, local place. Definitely very filling and cheaper food, than most other cafes and restaurants in Labuan Bajo.

The food tasted very Indonesian. A good food, a good sambal as well. For foreigner who stop by in Labuan Bajo can visit this place for authentic Indonesian food. A lot of option as well. You can have a good food and juice with only 50K/ 4-5 USD. The staffs are friendly.

We can say the food taste is marvellous for the dishes we have ordered. They are very tasty. But the portions are ridiculously small. For the price, it is not worth it. Nobody was there when we arrived, so we were the only guests inside. There was an unpleasant, strange and foul smell sitting outside the restaurant, near the fish tanks.

The fried fish is not good. The restaurant replaced our beef dish with chicken because out of stock without informing us. The chef managed to give us fried shrimp after we complained as a replacmeent . Menus are all wrong and not as our order. Service provided is commendable.

We have just arrived from the restaurant. 4 is really the maximum, 3.5 would be better. The fried rice was OK, the vegetables very good, the squid, good, but few in number, well hidden under the bread crumbs. ''See last pic'' Price point of view, is fine. Food and fresh juices are good, what makes this place special is little swimming pool and a view on the city. If you having luggage with you and you'll not stay in the restaurant hotel - no worries, you can leave your suitcases in the reception.

Lovely rooftop with a small pool and view of the lighthouse and harbor. Great for afterwork or an evening drink. The cocktails aren't incredible, but the price is right. We went back the next day for brunch, which was decent for the price but not incredible (a bit too fatty and sweet, too bad!). The watermelon juice and cappuccinos were very good though. The staff don't speak English very well, which makes communication difficult. If you stay at the hotel in the same building, there's a 10% discount on the rooftop.

Lovely view and awesome staff! Lighthouse Bajo is on the rooftop of Harbour Hotel and you get a discount if you’re staying at the hotel. It does get a bit busy during dinner / sunset time so make sure you come here early. Food was good with plenty of options, everything was reasonably priced. Will come back next time :)

We came here for a couple hours before our flight to chill on the rooftop, you don't need to be a hotel guest to order drinks and food. Very good air-conditioning in the inside area of the rooftop, and great views of the ocean! The outside area gets some nice breeze too. We got some snacks and juice, it was okay. There is one toilet that is very clean, but no AC in the toilet so it's super hot in there.

This place is phenomenal and I cannot recommend it highly enough!!! Naris was our server and was so polite, knowledgeable, kind, and overall incredible person and host! I should have taken pictures before we started eating but it was so good that I forgot until after the few first delicious bites. The pumpkin soup, the noodles, and ban buns were perfect. Such a nice atmosphere with a beautiful terrace outside with a pool and nicely decorated inside. We had such a great time and can’t wait for our next meal here!! 😊

This is a great restaurant. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Grace is amazing. She has a great team. The menu is really good. I loved breakfast; the scrambled eggs were so light and tasty. However, the cheeseburger is amazing; the special sauce is fantastic.

This place is awesome. The staff were all super nice, the restaurant was very clean and welcoming, and all of our food was really delicious. We got fried rice, fried noodle, sambals, two lemon teas, and a half a chicken. Every single thing was delicious. This place did not disappoint omg. We will be eating here at least two more times before we leave Labuan Bajo.

Delicious Chinese-indonsian cuisine. A lot of tasty menus (crab, fish, squid, tom yam, chicken kungpao, punchun, peking duck, stir-fried papaya leaves etc). Their specialty, Kellan sauce is tasty. Clean place, good service and affordable price.

Menu always changes depend on stock, but “Ikan Saus Kellan” is so recommended (mild spicy) and “Sapi Lada Hitam” is so delicious definitely one of the best Chinese Food around.. price is affordable also

Clean place...tried the canton fried chicken...is delicious with 5 spice dips...for oxtail soup...clear beef broth is a plus...however its better to be called beef bones soup rather than oxtail soup...could not find any oxtail part in the soup

I noticed their Basil / kemangi taste was different.. very aromatic and asked if i can Have the stem to plant back home, and the nice owner gave it. Their Ayam Rarang is unique, very tasty & spicier than ayam bakar. We love their plecing kangkung! Super fresh and their sambal is so delicious! Sate rembika just okay & spicy too. But the place is a bit small and the service is a bit slow

We had soto ayam, grilled chicken with a delicious peanut/coconut sauce and nasi goreng (which was alright). The prices are very nice compared to other places in town and the place is definitely up to Western standards (with local food). Also enough vegetarian options.

I think I wasn’t very lucky that day—it was raining, and there were only a few seats inside. After moving around a couple of times, I finally managed to get a spot, and that’s probably where things went wrong. The waitress seemed to mix up my order, and the food took over 45 minutes to arrive. On the bright side, the food itself was good, though I expected the fish soup to have small chunks instead of an entire fish inside—not exactly the easiest thing to eat. There were also a couple of large groups on the terrace, which probably didn’t help with the service. I’d probably give them another chance, but definitely order something different.

Came here about a month ago when I visited Labuan Bajo. I ordered Ikan Kuah Asam with my partner. It came with a portion for 2 people, the price also affordable with 60k IDR you will get 2 bottles of mineral water as a compliment. The fish taste very good, the soup is a bit soury (hence, Kuah Asam) and perfectly cooked, the owner is very nice and warmly welcomed us. All in all I have to say that this is a hidden gem in Bajo ☺️

Very good fish and food! Had the grouper fish and it was very tender and we did bargain a little bit big felt fair with the price. Feel like all the shops offer quite the same food but we went with kedai para ikatte and it was yum, good portion and no stomach problems!

We ate at one of the small outdoor fish restaurants here. Forgot which one, but they are fairly similar in that the both let you chose your fresh fish (or other seafood/shelfish etc) and they prepare it for you, either grilled, fried or prepared in a sauce. This one is hidden away a little bit, but the one next to the seashore are similarly good. Fair prices for freshly caught fish.

I was shocked by what I witnessed at the night market in Labuan Bajo. Mantis shrimps are being kept and raised inside plastic bottles, with no space, no freedom, and no natural environment. This is not just a disturbing sight – it is animal cruelty turned into a business. The animals spend their entire lives trapped in bottles, only to be sold later. Supporting such practices means encouraging suffering. I strongly urge visitors not to support this market and to think twice before spending money here. What I saw was cruel, inhumane, and deeply upsetting.

For the love of god, do not leave Labuan Bajo without eating here once. You can do grilled or fried with anything you chose. Super fresh ingredients, fun and local vibe. We got one grilled snapper and one fried grouper and fried calamari with some rice and vegetables. All was excellent but the fried calamari ( they batter it too) and the grilled snapper stole the show. We are going back tonight to try the grilled mahi mahi and more calamari. The shrimp and clams looked great too, we just don’t like shell fish as much in general.

Overpriced for tourist. Way overcharge for tourists. Negotiate the price. Bargain, Bargain , Bargain. Too much smoke at the sitting area and vendors trying to sell you items. The fish we got from our vendor was too dry and lacked flavor.

There are loads of stands to choose from where you point at a fish and they grill it up for you. I see a lot of reviews on here that says some people try to get them to pay 600k for a fish - that is wayyyyyy too much. I had fresh mango juice, fried calamari, and a grilled red snapper that came with rice and veggies for just 177k. The women at the stand I went to were so kind and sweet - they gave me a refill and made sure I was sitting under the awning since they knew rain was coming. Had to give them a tip for their kindness! Please note: according to the other 1 star reviews, you should know what you're willing to pay for something before you buy it or else some stands might take advantage of you. I made out like a bandit and had an amazing meal because the women in charge were honest, but you may have to haggle at other stands, that's just the name of the game. You have to try the night market when you're in LBJ! It is a must. Fresh fish and awesome atmosphere - one of the best meals I had on vacation.

It's a popular place - seen a few travelers coming and going while we were eating there. I recommend dropping by earlier in the day because your food will be fresher & warmer! They got 3 different choices of rice: white, red, yellow. A couple of dishes to pick from. It's not very cheap but considered okay priced.

Variant choice for guest choose. All price are described clearly. Clean & fast service. There points are voted for restaurant. The taste is quite normal, compared with normal local food I enjoyed. And a bit expensive. Hm.. because here is Labihan Bajo!! I just feel too hot to seat there. And somehow I have impression that staffs are not really pay attention gentlely to serve. Maybe I'm too sensitive.

A small restaurant located upstairs opposite the sky tower hotel. Seating has wooden chairs with no padding but still comfortable and clean. The food here is not by menu but by dishes pre made. There are a few different dishes including dishes suitable for vegetarians including tempeh, potatoe balls, vegetable fritters and egg plant in sauce. There are also dishes containing fish, beef and chicken. We didnt see any pork dishes but there are many muslims in the area so I think pork is not used in many places throughout LBJ. The food we took was very tasty, well cooked and a good portion size to. I had 5 different dishes with a yellow rice and my girlfriend had 4 dishes with yellow rice, a water and a Sprite which all came to just over 100,000IDR which is great value and can be good for those on a budget. The yellow rice was really good, very fragrant! Drinks were limited to just water and Sprite. Service was friendly helpful and informative from all of the girls. A great place to eat Indonesian food at a budget price!!

Perhaps affordable food in Labuan Bajo. They have many variants of Indonesian food. You may pick fresh fish soup or beef rendang and 3 choices of rice. Come earlier avoid long que. The price range start from 30K, budget meal with happy belly.

Really nice Warung to get large variety of local food with decent price. All dishes are clearly priced, which makes it easy to control how much you will pay at the end. The staff was friendly and the food really tasty. The place offer also a nice view over the street. I recommend this place.

Loved this place and visited a few times while in LBJ. There are many options changing every day and you can select what you’d like. If you choose veggie dishes you’ll spend less than 30k. Better to go for lunch because when we stopped for dinner one evening, it seemed that the dishes may have been left over from lunch.

The best tacos in town! I chose the special fish taco of the day, and it's delicious. It's served with soft shell taco, and lots of fresh ingredients. My friend chose breakfast burritos, and it's also good. The price is also reasonable. The place is cozy and perfect to enjoy the harbor view, and sunset. However, the staff is a bit unfriendly.

A place for great Mexican food and fast service. Was shown to the dinning area on the third floor which offers a view overlooking the Labuan Harbour. We ordered a beef quesadilla and a pork taco for dinner which was prepared really fast. The pork taco was okay, just that my partner found it really spicy. The beef quesadilla was great! For drinks, we ordered a frozen margarita and a mojito. Though pricey as alcohol is taxed rather heavily, Both had adequate amount of tequila/rum! Love that they are environmentally conscious and served the drinks with a paper straw. Great place to chilli and watch the sunset!

The fried fish tacos is really good! The mango salsa goes really well with it. Prices are reasonable too but you have to climb the stairs up!

Walk up to the third floor. Order the chicken enchiladas with green sauce and a cold Bintang. Die and go to heaven. I may be jaded having just got off a 4 day liveaboard with mediocre food, but this is seriously some of the best Mexican I've had. Sunset views should be amazing (we were a bit late). They've got a full bar.

Burito was delicious especially house spicy sauce which you can add by own taste. People are nice and on top you can either watch main road traffic or harbour view. I prefer harbour in the sunset it's beautifull.

I did stay here and Breakfast served here was always phenomenal. This review is for lunch. Prices are as expected very expensive. But it is expected as you are also paying for the amazing view. Food is also presented beautifully. Service is delightful and the ambiance was relaxing. Details of Food I got and their prices are down below. - 175K Smoked and cured beef salad: great light lunch - 230K Meat-za Pizza: delicious safe option - 85K Kids menu chicken Noodle soup: great but dumplings were a bit hard! Meals are labelled very carefully so you can pick based on your dietary preferences/ requirements easily.

We stayed 4 nights and every morning Lestin and the team greeted us with smiles and a cheery attitude. Fantastic buffet available at breakfast, with amazing options for all palletes. Pizzas and pastas were also good. Drinks and coctails tasty and interesting. Upon leaving we were given a card by Lestin and the Team, giving thanks and we'll wishes for our onward travel. Thank you Lestin and the all the team at Rinca restaurant for making our stay so comfortable and bespoke.

We really enjoyed our stay at the ayana and it is perfect for relaxing but also offers a wide range of activities. The sunrise yoga, for example (free of charge). We would have preferred it if things like kayak or stand up paddle rental had also been free of charge. Apart from that, we were really impressed. The rooms are a dream and in the evening they came back to ask if you needed water or anything else. We enjoyed the excellent service, especially from ellyn, maya and Yano. 😍😍 They were always very courteous, attentive and very cordial. Many thanks for that! You guys are great!

My friends and I had a very good experience at Rinca for our dinner. We ordered a variety of food and it was all so exquisite. We also had Ando as our server and he really went above and beyond. He made sure that all our allergies and dietary requirements were catered for, and was also very generous in sharing information about Labuan Bajo. The view was a 10/10. We are so grateful for the service and overall experience at Rinca ❤️

We had the absolute best experience dining at Rinca during our stay at Ayana. The staff here are truly the sweetest and most accommodating people—warm, welcoming, and always going the extra mile to make you feel like family. Ellyn, Maya, and Komang in particular made such an impression on us with their kindness and attentiveness. They constantly checked in to ask how our stay was going and genuinely cared about making every moment special. We enjoyed breakfast here daily (so delicious!), and also ended up having lunch and dinner because the food and service were just that good. The juices were especially fresh and flavorful. As a surprise farewell, they even gave us a handwritten card signed by the whole team—something we’ll never forget. The warmth and hospitality at Rinca are unmatched. We’re so grateful for the experience and will definitely be back!

I had the freshest fish, cooked homestyle at Kedai Banerasa, along with delicious vegetables and a coconut. But many of the other stalls also looked very good. The price was very fair and I definitely look like a tourist, so I'm not sure what other people experienced to make them complain so much. I would definitely eat here again. There are also lovely views of the harbour here.

Fresh seafood available, you can pick and weight then bargain with them. Good selection of fishes and good deal for the kind of seldom available in our country. Coconut is huge and sweet, service is ok, but if you want to eat there dont bother to wash your hair before that. Tiny roaches crawling around the floor sometimes up the table. Well, they sells food right? So... Its kind of normal, plus its by the sea.. cooking are more or less the same as we tried 2 different stalls. Sambal is different also depends on your preference.

Even the China folks are smart to say the food here is expensive. We ordered 2 crabs, a fish and vegetables. The dishonest stall had swopped the crab to a smaller one with lesser meat. The cooking took almost an hour. They use coconut shell to cook but blew the smoke to the dining area. We ate once and was enough. Compare to Semporna, this is not worth it.

Pick your fresh seafood and enquire the prices before you order how it’s to be cooked and side dishes. The seafood was super fresh and delicious yet affordable. You’ll be directed to sit at one of the benches at the back, be prepared to eat in smoke because there are so many stalls grilling bbqing the wind blows the smoke towards the seating area. I guess it adds to the local vibe! It’s really fun to eat here and the seafood was the highlight. Highly recommend everyone to try it out.

The seafoods are freshest at it gets. Very very large crabs. Service a bit slow. Expected. And very reasonable price. Just make sure you weigh and ask how much before agree to cook. And the area can be very smoky.

You can try for the experience, but expect overpriced food priced like a tourist trap. Food wasn't particularly great either, lobster was super dry and hard, not succulent at all. Prices are inconsistent, better to just walk up the hill to Taman Laut.

Service was on point, didn’t felt like we were ignored for any second. Food, on the contrary to all the good reviews, was subpar at most. Satay chicken was a tad bit on the dry side and they forgot our peanut sauce 🥹 Had to request but the sauce came cold and it felt like it came out of the refrigerator upon request. Seafood was heavily salted with no depth in flavours unfortunately. Had better in the restaurants outside of the resort. There’s a huge gap between expectations versus the reality of the food given the expensive price tag. I did enjoy the grilled squid though, which was probably the only redeeming dish for the evening. 🦑

We visited this restaurant for dinner while staying at AYANA HOTEL LABAN BAJO. The ingredients were fresh, and their cooking method was a simple grill style without unnecessary seasoning to maximize the quality of the ingredients. We ordered Live Lobster and Squids, Shellfish and Vegetable Skewers. All dishes were a satisfying level. We also felt good that they had a kids menu. One drawback of this restaurant is that it takes a long time from when we choose the ingredients to when they are served. Therefore, we can’t recommend this restaurant for families with young children.

We visited this restaurant at AYANA based on the high praise for this hotel chain and had fairly high expectations. To be fair, the ambiance was great, with stunning sea views, and the staff were warm, attentive, and welcoming. However, the food was a letdown. For the price, we expected much better—unfortunately, the seafood stew, grilled fish, scallops, and clams were overly salty, and the chicken satay was dry and tough. The only redeeming dish was the squid. Overall, while the setting and service were excellent, the food did not live up to the hype.

Amazing service and a table by the beach. The fish is very fresh. Our favourite dishes were the ultra-fresh squid, beef satay and vegetable skewers. The lobster was good but it is an over-rated delicacy. Squid this fresh is better. 11/10 service. Attentive but not overbearing. The staff remembered peanut allergy from the night before, when we forgot to mention it again. We think KISIK is of a much higher quality than Ayana’s other food offerings. We spent about 500,000 each for dinner. Thanks!

We had dinner at their beachside restaurant, with a lovely sea view right from our table. The grilled seafood main was awesome — super fresh and well-prepared. It was a little pricey, but fair enough considering it’s AYANA. The only letdown was the chilli — completely mild with zero kick. Seriously, McDonald’s chilli sauce is spicier. If you're into spice, definitely ask for authentic local sambal — we found out later that it’s available on request.

The truth is that the place is very beautiful and the service is excellent, but the food is not worth what we paid. We ordered lobster cooked in bamboo and fish in bamboo as well. Both dishes tasted exactly the same. To make matters worse, they were cooked with so many spices and herbs that the natural flavors of the fish and lobster were completely lost. In short, both dishes tasted identical to each other, and for foreigners, they might even taste just like street food, since they were overloaded with herbs and flavors that completely masked the main ingredient. For my taste, it was not worth it. We paid 2,000,000 rupiah for a meal that I honestly don’t think is worth even a quarter of what we paid. Very disappointed…

Delicious food, great staff! Located inside the Ayana resort, Kisik grill is a fish grill restaurant located at the beach. Offers fresh fish from the day. Comes with multiple sauces, a salad and a fish soup. Highly recommended!

The food here is very average, which surprised me because of the current 4.9 rating and lots of comments expressing how authentic it is. Maybe we ordered the wrong dishes but have a look at how underwhelming my prawn pasta dish is. It tastes like how it looks. The octopus slices were also so thin and dry, with the tomato and olives being a superfluous pairing that didn't really enhance it. Both of our wines (merlot +chardonnay) were also not great. For the positives: The carbonara was alright, and I did appreciate the complimentary bread starter, cleanliness of the establishment and the attentive service.

We dined at Altomare one night for dinner. We ordered: Garlic bread: My partner was a bit disappointed that it seemed like a garlic spread on toast rather than baked. I thought it tasted fine but wasn’t necessary with the complimentary bread. TAGLIATELLE ZUCCA E PANCETTA Tagliatelle pasta with pumpkin cream sauce, crispy Italian style pork pancetta, parmesan cheese. IDR. 125k. This was delicious, the pumpkin cream sauce wasn’t too rich and the slight sweetness contrasted with the saltiness of the pancetta. TAGLIATELLE GAMBERI E CHAYOTE SQUASH Tagliatelle pasta with prawns, bisque’ and chayote squash. IDR. 135k. This was nice however I felt it could have had more prawns and a vegetable and/or herb to add more complexity to the flavour. Not too expensive. Interior was a bit odd, the entry seems quite fancy but inside there were tvs playing old sports games (not that I had an issue with this, just a bit odd).

The portion for the octopus was stingy and small. It is in a tomato sauce and advertised as spicy, but, could not detect any spice at all. It was a pleasant, bland tomato sauce. Was not impressed for the price, considering you add 15 per cent to the total bill. The barracuda and beef capacious starters were very good. Had to send the pizza back. Do not order their pizza. See pictures. Crust too thin and toppings ungenerous. I ordered the salsiccia and gorgonzola pizza. Could not detect Gorgonzola, as in any blue bits, it looked liked grana padano to me, or parmigiana reggiana. Anyway, when the waitress asked if it was good, I said no and she took it away and said I wouldn't be charged, even though I had eaten half of it. I ordered another beef capacious instead. So, maybe don't order a pizza, I've eaten hundreds in my life, having lived in Milan for 2.5 years, so, I know good pizza. Service was attentive.

Terrific bar. Great service & lovely staff. We stayed at the Ayana Hotel and came here every day of our stay almost. We had some lovely chats with the lifeguards and the servers here and it was always pleasant staying in their company. The tiki fizz cocktail is incredible, as well as the croquettes. All food/drink here is expensive but it’s the price you pay staying around such an amazing view and great staff.

There’s something surreal about sipping cocktails right in the middle of the ocean, and that’s exactly what Naga Bar offers. Perched at the very end of AYANA’s jetty, this floating bar feels like an escape within an escape—a place where time slows, the sea breeze kisses your skin, and the sunset paints the sky in fiery hues. Walking along the jetty towards Naga Bar, the view alone was worth the visit. The moment I arrived, I was greeted by the sound of waves beneath me and the sight of open-air seating with uninterrupted ocean views. It felt intimate, exclusive, and just a little magical. I started with the Waecicu Beach Tonic, a gin-based cocktail infused with cucumber, tomato, chili, and celery. It was refreshing yet had an unexpected kick—perfect for cooling down after a long day of island adventures. Paired with the gentle sway of the bar over the water, it was easily one of the best sundowner experiences I’ve had. As the sky transformed into a kaleidoscope of orange, pink, and purple, I moved on to a Kafe La Bajo, an espresso-based cocktail made with Flores coffee-infused arak, Nusantara coffee liqueur, and vanilla. Strong, smooth, with a hint of sweetness—it was the perfect nightcap as the stars started to peek through. What truly sets Naga Bar apart isn’t just the drinks, though—it’s the atmosphere. Sitting there, surrounded by nothing but the ocean, with soft music playing in the background and the distant twinkle of Labuan Bajo’s coastline, it felt like a scene straight out of a travel dream.

Bar is perched out into the sea, stunning views of the ocean and the island in the middle of the ocean. Service was great despite us not being hotel guests. Very friendly and kind staff. We went for a drink at the bar and there were ample sun umbrellas and comfortable lounge chairs. Very pleasant experience, worth every penny.

Great view from the bar to watch the sunset. We went to the bar although we were no guests of the hotel. Just take the elevator in the lobby to ground floor and walk to the pier. There is a happy hour from 5 to 7pm and affordable snacks on the menu as well.

(Came as visitors, i.e., not hotel guests). Beautiful spot to lounge or sit, enjoy drinks and watch sunset. Quite pricy but nice as a little treat (prices are marked up, e.g., bintang is 100k rather than the usual ~50 to 75k depending on size, in town. Therefore, drinks will cost minimum 100k). The bar menu only has drinks and light bites, but you can order bigger meals like pizzas if you ask the staff. Note as well that the bar menu has some beers and signature cocktails, but you can order standard cocktails (e.g. a regular Moscow mule or mojito) like you would any other bar. Feels silly to have to write that but just in case.

One of the most beautiful bar i have ever visited. The view and atmosphere Is amazing! The bar Is built on a stilt house directly on the Sea in front of the Islands. We visited during sunset and we got also 2 towels to stay in the sunbeds together with the Happy Hour. The sunset in Labuan Bajo Is really a show to enjoy. All perfect, also cocktails were good. Only negative note: we entered in this Place as customer passing through the resort ( the reception told that was possible). Despite of this ,the staff asked us 3 times our room number, our name, the hotel in which we stayed. This was a bit annoying because i felt not so confortable, even if i was paying like other people. Seems that our service was like a "B level" and staff underlined this.

Kampung Ujung in Labuan Bajo is a seafood paradise, offering fresh catches from local fishermen. Visitors can enjoy a variety of dishes like fish, crab, and lobster at affordable prices.

Definitely a dinner to experience while in Labuan Bajo. But be mindful that haggle is required, especially if you are a foreigner or a local with foreigner(s). Knowing how much the market rate of fish and other seafoods would definitely be handy. The seating here will be parallel to the stall where you buy the seafood from, so it's not a free seating type. Once you pick the stall, just agree the prices upfront, clearly, incl. the drinks. Service could be quite slow and the quality of rice might not be the best. But the foods when they arrived they're all good. We really liked our ikan kuah asam (fish in sour soup). Some sellers might charge you an additional 8% of fax, while the others don't. We ordered 1 fish (cooked in 2 ways), a small basket of clams, grilled aubergine and stir fried morning glory and paid 235k rupiah. While we paid 113.5k rupiah for the drinks (dragon fruit juice, mango juice and ice tea) - this one included the additional tax for some reason.

There are many seafood restaurants along this road, many of which serve fresh fish from the sea. The price provided fluctuates according to what we bid on. The cooking menu is also very similar, with grilled and stir-fried vegetables. Since the fish or other ingredients are still fresh, they taste sweet! I like ❤️

The fish was superb (barramundi - 200K and baronang 100K)! Fresh, tender, melt in your mouth! Super recommend, yummm. I recommend the clam also (kerang dara rebus). The sambal is very nice also. We did not try the lobster, but the pricing is quite good (compared to Bali yah), for the big one cost 800k. The downside is that the service takes too long even to serve the drink.

Had a dinner in Kasimpa Wali stall recently. All the seafood dishes that we ordered were super fresh and cooked really nice. They offered either live or fresh seafood and they sure know how to cook it. The downside was, the wait time is long, don’t come when you’re starving. Price of the seafood is also pretty reasonable. We’re happy to pay as the quality of the food is also great. You will need to shower after your trip here as the smoke is the choking you kind. There were also some pedagang offering kain and they were kinda pushy. But overall I think this place worth a try, especially if you love seafood.

the place is very good, it's right next to the beach and surrounded by lots of culinary tourism... it's very busy at night and the smell of smoke is a constant sight every day because of grilled fish or other food. The local government has arranged the place well, but it is very unfortunate that the parking is not organizedand traveling traders who have no rules offering their wares.

Great choice to take supper or dinner while visiting Labuan Bajo. They mainly offer fresh seafood such as fish, squid, lobster, shrimp, clam, etc. The fishermen usually collect their catch around Komodo National Park. There are no fix prices. The prices depend on the tourist season. It will be much pricey when high season of tourist visits.

Delicious ice cream! A lots of choices, including the vegan (sorbet). They also let you taste it so you can choose wisely. We also ordered the cappuccino with the oat milk. It was nicely presented but I didn't not like the taste Service is very friendly and helpful. Too bad we discovered this lovely place just before our departure.

I had a long day from Diving, and all I needed was a sweet treat to end the night. While on my way back home from dinner, I spotted this ice cream place by chance. And honestly, I think it was the best decision to step in. Just see how yummy they start chocolate with orange ice cream along with coconut taste. It is such a good combination and I’m so glad I got the Manta Ray biscuit topping. The staff are extremely friendly and super sweet. You need to give this place a try!!

One of my favorite place here. While we are here, we always end the day with then ice cream here. The staffs are nice and the dog there is cute. She always sleep in front of the shop. I love her so much. Please be nice to her if you visit the shop

This ice cream parlor serves very fresh scoops. Fortunately, the flavor combination worked out for me, and I was delighted. However, not everyone has the same experience. You’re not allowed to try the flavors unless you pay for them first, which is a bit disappointing. Additionally, you can only taste two flavors, so if you don’t like them, you’re out of luck. I believe they should change their policy and allow customers to try different flavors after purchasing a token.

I stayed in Labuan Bajo for four days for scuba diving. I went twice during its existence. I should have gone every day. What a shame. For 50,000 yen, I chose two flavors and a cookie topping to complete it! The gelato was original and well-made, and even though the store was crowded, everyone seemed happy eating it. The staff were cheerful and kind, making the shop a happy place. 😃 Another thing that really impressed me was the large dog food bowls they had left on the sidewalk, where passing dogs could eat freely. The people in this town are very kind to dogs and cats, and the dogs and cats are also very attached to people.

This is a unique dining spot, from the building, the seating, the tables, and the stairway access on the second floor. There's a live musician with a view of the beach. I was initially skeptical about the food, but after buying and enjoying it, it was delicious. The service is very friendly and highly. recommended!

The food is excellent!!! I personally like the squid ink squid a lot. The other hot fav was the tete lomak - we had the chicken one 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 The rolled fish was tasty as well. Do note that each main comes with rice and sides so it’s a full complete meal by itself. You can of course overdo it like we did ordering 3 mains for 2 pax 🤣 but everything was delicious. The cocktail recommended by the boss was yummy but the moke (local spirit) in it has quite the kick!

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for the past 4 days, and it has truly made my stay so much better! The food is absolutely delicious — every dish is full of flavor. Great spot in Labuan Bajo! We went there 4 nights in a row and it was just as good every time. There’s a live band every evening — super talented and great singers. The atmosphere is amazing, and sometimes you can even dance after dinner. The staff is lovely, really friendly and kind. The food is excellent — we tried the Tete Lomak Chicken, the fish, the black ink squid, and the Moleo, and everything was delicious. The cocktails made with sopi (local alcohol) are also very good. And we never got sick — everything was fresh and well prepared. Definitely a place we highly recommend!

The food here is really good! You can not not finish it! Takes a while for the food to come, but it's worth it! Don't underestimate the look of the 'warung'/small hut, the taste of the food is 5 star. The owner was a chef on a cruise ship. Pardon my messy photos, can't wait to finish eating.

Solid indon food that’s tourists friendly. The service is a little slow but I think because they try to serve all the food at the same time. The fried duck is really good and moist. Especially after you’re two bintang deep because you’re waiting for the food.

Went to Senja Eatery around 5pm, nice atmosphere around this timing, still quiet. We were fanning ourself and the staff face the fan directly to us (what a thoughtful staff here). We ordered French Fries; Pisang Goreng; Nasi Goreng; Mie Goreng. Imma tell u, the food is the best in Labuan Bajo. The place is complete, with toilet and handwash basin. Staff is friendly and quick to serve.

We’ve been to Bali and Labuan Bajo and I would say this is the best Indonesian restaurant that me and my family have had. The foods were seasoned very well and not too salty. The price is pretty reasonable.

The fact that in three weeks around Indonesia I only repeated one restaurant says everything about this fantastic place. The staff are super friendly and kind, the food is freshly prepared and delicious, and the harbor views are just perfect. The only downside is the portions—they’re a bit small—but the prices are great compared to nearby spots. So if you’re really hungry, just order a few extras 😅

Saw this place from the balcony of my hotel and I had to visit after seeing the menu. This was my go to place for lunch and dinner, everything I had was freshly made and delicious. The view was breathtaking, great spot to watch the sunset and enjoy a beer! The owner is welcoming and staff are really polite and kind too. Definitely some place I’ll have to come back to one day.

Come here during sunset, the view is spectacular! Food is lovely. Every dish we tried was great. We ate at many restaurants and this one is definitely my favorite. Staff is sensitive to allergy issues more than any other place I visited on the island.

This could be the best Nasi Kuning around Labuan Bajo. You can add fish, egg, or beef to this tasty yellowish rice. They also serve nice strong Manggaraian coffee ☕. Located less than 5 minutes to the Komodo Airport. Highly recommended for breakfast.

Great food for a great price in Labuan Bajo- Flores. The place is huge but when I was there there were only a few people. This is the only place in Indonesia where I got the original nassi goreng ( strangely enough)

decent "nasi kuning". come for here for breakfast. consist of yellow rice, fish floss, fried noodles, some sambal, hard boiled balado egg and crackers. have other option too like chicken or beef rendang. opened from breakfast till dinner.

Stumbled upon Dragon Resto right by the traditional market and what a gem! As foreigners who hadn’t had many chances to eat at truly local spots, this was exactly what we were looking for. Authentic atmosphere, friendly staff who were patient with us non-locals, and genuinely good traditional food at great prices. Perfect spot to grab a meal after exploring the market - you can tell it’s where locals actually eat. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a real taste of local cuisine without the tourist markup!

The staff is humble and gracious. They eliminate any language barriers with their attentiveness. More than willing to modify menu items to accommodate dietary preferences. The range of options on the menu is surprisingly varied for a place so modest. The food that comes out of their kitchen could easily grace the tables of much more pretentious dining rooms. We were equally blown away by the fresh natural juice selection. For the portion sizes and consistently high quality they could easily charge more. Very reasonable A clear 6 star experience.

The food was very tasty, it's expensive compared to the warungs but cheaper then most tourist oriented places on this island. I had one of the cheaper options which was nasi bankok which had prawns, chicken, veg and spicy sauce for 4O.OOO (about 3 Euro) coffee was 12.OOO (about 1 Euro). Staff was very friendly and attentive and brought me extra water when I'd had a bit too much chilly and was struggling!

Awesome smoothie bowls and tempeh wrap! One of the best smoothie bowls I’ve ever had! It was the perfect consistency and amazing flavor. Full of fresh fruit, homemade granola and peanut butter. Very refreshing and filling on a hot day. The tempeh wrap (vegan power wrap) was also delicious, fresh and flavorful! I came here for lunch two days in a row and was impressed with the quality of food and service of the staff. They are all very friendly and carefully prepare your order. Multiple vegan and vegetarian options. Soy and almond milk options for coffee. Would 10/10 recommend and visit again! 🌱

I had the pleasure of dining at this café during my stay in Labuan Bajo, and it's safe to say that it's a hidden gem. I found myself coming here every day during my week-long stay, and I was genuinely sad to say goodbye to this place. The quality and taste of their offerings are top-notch. The smoothie bowls were a personal favorite – fresh, colorful, and bursting with flavor. The salad bowls were equally impressive, with a variety of fresh ingredients that left me feeling energized. What sets this café apart, aside from its delicious and healthy menu, is the wonderful team behind it. The owners and the girls working there are incredibly sweet, open, and friendly. They make you feel like a part of their extended family, and their warm hospitality adds to the overall dining experience. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Labuan Bajo, and this café will undoubtedly be at the top of my list. If you're in the area and craving some wholesome and tasty food, do yourself a favor and pay them a visit. You won't be disappointed!

Disclaimer: I am an Indonesian and I don’t really do this kind of reviewing, but I think some humbling experience would be helpful for the owner. I met the owner of this place yesterday while I was eating in a local Indonesian restaurant. She was speaking with the owner of the local restaurant with mixed language, english and Bahasa Indonesia, even though she’s an Indonesian herself 😅 she tried to mentor the local restaurant owners on how to do business by saying how much ‘Bule’ clients she has. She said to me that she runs this Bajo Bloom place & proudly said to me that they have ‘healthy food’. Me & my partner tried their ‘healthy’ Smoothie Bowl and Beras Kencur. The only good thing about them is only the Jamu (Indonesian herbal drinks). Their smoothie bowls? Completely just frozen fruits blended & topped with fruits again. Too much, too cold (my throat was getting sore afterwards), too sweet and i don’t think i could label something like that as ‘healthy food’. Just because they’re made out of A LOT of sweet fruits doesn’t mean it’s healthy. It could lead to diabetes when it’s THAT sweet & when i eat such things every day. Otherwise, there’s only one worker who could speak English. I witnessed how hard the communication was, because they needed to get this one worker, so that they would be able to communicate with the ‘Bule’. So - maybe train your staffs? Their language skills? Learning is indeed not easy, but it’s so much better to improve your own business instead of sitting around in another local restaurant, mentoring them, acting like you know it all, talking mixed in English (you were speaking to a fellow Indonesians! Just like you are!), mentioning your lots of ‘Bule clients’ meanwhile i tried your place - and man, in my opinion, it’s not even good at all. Let go of that ego, mind your own business. Oh - and not to mention the parking space and air conditioning inside. Those are nonexistent in this place. We had to park far away and then it was so hot inside. They only have a fan. Not worth it for the price we had to pay: almost 300k for two persons.

Absolutely loved this place. The pastries are top quality and made really well – I tried two different berry pastries and both were amazing. The cream was luscious, the berries were fragrant and not overly sweet. The ambience is also great, and the prices are very affordable for what you get. The Italian owner speaks Indonesian well and isn’t hesitant to connect personally with customers. You can really see how proud he is of the products he makes. Hands down, this place deserves my 5-star rating and a big praise. I reccomend you to try: Goloso & The greek yoghurt

Just had the best focaccia sandwich I’ve ever had here! We also ordered the Saccottino, which was very delicious. Would also recommend getting their in-house yogurt, which definitely did NOT disappoint.

Our favorite restaurant in Labuan Bajo - YOU have to go! It’s the cutest little spot with an amazing view and actually been the best food we had since we started our travels. Everything we ordered is to die for (especially Mango Salad and Tofu Popcorn though). We had two main courses each and a starter, everything was prepared fresh and it’s of such high quality as well as rich in flavor. The service we received of our waiter Cerin was so amazing, we will definitely be back again. He made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience. P.S. the photos don’t do this place justice, try it yourself - 10 out of 10

We had fried rice and noodles, and non alcoholic mojito, which was very refreshing! The highlight was the beautiful view of sunsets from the restaurant. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery during dinner!

After I read all the positive reviews I decide to try since I pass by with my motorbike and they have grill fresh seafood. It is a must yo try! All is very fresh, and the waitress are very kind, specially Ceris and Afish (hope I wrote it correctly) Seafood fried rice is a must and the tofu it awesome. Highly recommended 10/10

Really great place for coffee and chess. Went to this place for morning tea and was surprised that all the tables had chess set. We ordered desserts, 1. Lago sari, and 2. Dadar Gulung. Lago sari is more of a flan. But we preferred the Dadar Gulung which was a local pancake with red sugar. For coffee ordered the Spiced Coffee Flores and Java Jampit. Love the Spiced Coffee which was flavoured with cinnamon.

My favourite cafe in Indonesia!! Amazing vegetarian dishes with local fresh produce, innovative recipe and aromatic herbs. Wide selection of local coffee (home roasted!) Cute loft facing the lush greens. I missed the day trip to Komodo Park but I almost feel it’s a blessing in disguise - I spent the whole afternoon here and it’s mind refreshing.

Delicious, fresh vegetarian/vegan food which is prepared by such kind and friendly staff. They have the best tofu scramble I've ever tasted and it pairs perfectly with the fresh sambal which is made daily from scratch. Their selection of local coffees is just exceptional too! They also provide free refillable water so bring along your reusable bottle. Definitely drop by Catur'z if you're in Labuan Bajo - you won't regret it.
