Bar
When in Labuan Bajo, a visit to Paradise Bar is a must. This reggae-themed bar offers stunning views of the bay and ocean, making it the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring. The lively atmosphere includes live music and a party vibe most nights, with Saturdays featuring a small cover charge. While some visitors find the drinks pricey, many appreciate the comfortable setting and friendly staff.
Great vibes, good music, and the best sunset view in Labuan Bajo. 🌅 Paradise Bar truly lives up to its name — it’s the kind of place where you can just relax with a drink, listen to live music, and watch the sky turn orange over the sea. The crowd is friendly, the staff are chill, and the atmosphere feels like a little island party. Perfect spot to end the night after a day of exploring or sailing.
Wani — Google review
Great views for the sunset but we were the only guests at 5pm. I ordered a mojito and banana milkshake, but they didn't have fruits. Also from the beers they only had Bintang, although in the menu there were many options. Also the menu that was given to us had plenty of missing pages and the waiter never came to our table, we had to look for him around the premise. Maybe it's better at night.
Danny P — Google review
Great location for watching the sunset, but the service left a lot to be desired. We rocked up right as they opened (5pm) and asked about a happy hour. The guy behind the counter said he could do us a happy hour (5pm-7pm) with a special gin-based drink. When we went to pay at the end, he told us it'd be the same price as normal, no reduced rate. What's the point of calling it a happy hour then? Go there and enjoy the drinks + sunset, but don't believe them if they say there are special deals on.
Rakhesh M — Google review
Great place to have a drink and enjoy sunset view. During night time they habe live music. Hope we can enjoy it during our next stay when we have more time.
Timo — Google review
It was fun in this local bar. Good band, mates We enjoyed that. Cheers again 🥂
Kay N — Google review
Came for drinks. At 9 pm very empty, but filling up later. Fantastic view. Live band played, ok, nothing exciting. Airy space, friendly service
Anselm R — Google review
Literally the worst “nachos” and French fries I’ve ever had. Nachos tasted like decades old, stale Fritos and the salsa was some cousin of mayonnaise. The French fries were fried in butter? Idk still trying to figure that one out. Drinks were okay- not amazing but not nearly as offensive as the food. Great view though 🤌
Emily S — Google review
I went there to watch for sunset and it's magical. I didn't order any food but a cocktail. It's a definitely good spot for sunset in Labuan Bajo❤️❤️❤️

Mirror Stone Cave, also known as Gua Batu Cermin, is a captivating destination in Labuan Bajo. The entrance has been modernized, offering a pleasant walk and excellent guide service. It's recommended to visit in the morning to avoid crowds and high humidity levels. Visitors should bring their own flashlight for exploring the cave, and guides are available for those who want assistance navigating through narrow passages.
Lovely Tour! **Bring your own torch if you can** We visited this Cave through a tour organised by 'Seek Sophie'. Once there we were met by a lovely local guide who took us through the greenery (with the occasional monkeys) to the Cave and explained all the fossils and history behind this area. He kindly gave us some helmets that came with torches, but they weren't very bright, so luckily we had our own. Once equipped you'll duck crawl through some right spots to see an ancient fossilized turtle, beautiful caves and what are the most humongous crickets I've ever seen! It was great to experience the non-aquatic sights of Komodo. We enjoyed it!
Cynthia R — Google review
Not too bad for a cave visit. Won't take more than an hour to complete. We had a guide along which he brought along a LED torchlight. A certain part of the cave where you need to wear helmet. You need to squat and crawl into it for a part of the cave. We had the sun ray shining into the cave at a point. The guide was superb where he took many photos and videos for us without complaining. The mushroom rock is just a pitstop for photo.
Lee K — Google review
I went there in the afternoon before my flight to the airport. For only IDR 70k, I got an entrance ticket and a guide for the cave. They said that outside the cave, there’s a snake habitat, and some locals have formed a community that hunts them at night. The cave itself is dry and easy to explore for visitors. It's best to come around midday when the sunlight reflects beautifully inside the cave
Ossy S — Google review
Beautiful place, not overly big bit makes for a great day out. Bring a flashlight or use your phone. If you have trouble walking or knee issues you may want to skip this. There are snakes. Just saying.
Zsolt Z — Google review
An easily accessible and interesting cave with a cool fossilized turtle inside. Entrance for foreingers was Rp 50k. It's definitely worth visiting while you're in Labuan Bajo.
Grant C — Google review
Surprisingly fun!! I actually considered not going here because the pictures looked quite average, but definitely worth a trip! It's quite a short tour (30-45m). I most enjoyed entering the cave with a helmet (which was essential as there were many spots to knock your head). It was quite the mini adventure.
Bryan L — Google review
The cave it self is okay and good to see (but nothing special) for 30 - 60 minutes depending on how long you want to be there taking pictures. The guide is not needed, it is easy to find the cave as there is a clear road to it. Guides are lying and making a story about a fossil of the turtle, which is more a mimic of it, but not real. They can’t not name an approximate age of it, and you can clearly see the same structure of the rocks around a pseudo-fossil (a geological formation done by water and orange colour bacteria). Plus they could not show a scientific proof of it being a fossil:) so getting a guide is a scam.
Julija B — Google review
This place is located within the city, so at first we thought it must be heavily commercialized. But we were wrong. After you enter through the security, you step into a different world altogether. Purely as a cave, this was better than Rangko. But Rangko being at a water body, has a totally different feel. We must have spent about 45 minutes here and we liked being here. Good shoes would be necessary, in addition to a mask perhaps, to steer off the stench at a few spots in this place. Would recommend it considering it's only 10 to 15 minute drive from the city center.

Pizza restaurant
La Cucina in Labuan Bajo is a beloved family-owned Italian restaurant known for its inviting ambiance and authentic cuisine. The charming trattoria-style setting exudes a cozy Mediterranean atmosphere with maritime-inspired decor in blue and white. The focus on simplicity and elegance is reflected in the carefully prepared dishes, reminiscent of homemade Italian meals. This restaurant offers genuine Italian flavors that transport diners to the heart of Italy, making it a must-visit dining destination in Labuan Bajo.
We visited La Cucina Labuan Bajo, which is under the same management as Alma, and really enjoyed our time there. A big plus is that they provide a free shuttle from the hotel, which makes it super convenient. The food was delicious, portions were generous, and the prices very affordable — perfect for sharing and enjoying with friends and family. We had a lot of food and a great time. The owner is very friendly and welcoming, which added to the warm atmosphere. I would definitely come back next time I’m in Labuan Bajo.
Endang — Google review
I ate dinner here twice and both times I was very satisfied. The pizzas are delicious and a good size (if you get the largest size). The prices overall are pretty reasonable (bit more on the expensive side). Nevertheless I really enjoyed eating here with my friends and the staff was great!

la cucina is so popular among tourist. one of the best italian restaurant in bajo. ordered pizza, gnocchi, and spaghetti. they have large portion for just two of us. taste was good, cozy place. everything was nice :)
Jessica R — Google review
La Cucina is such a charming little gem! The cozy, inviting vibe makes you feel right at home. The food is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The staff are genuinely friendly and attentive, always making sure you have everything you need. A lovely spot worth coming back again!
Hang N — Google review
I felt this place was over rated. It is super crowded in the evenings so be prepared for a long wait. Food was average, nothing to write home about. They have gluten free pizzas and pastas, though the staff didn't seem properly educated on what gluten free actually means. But if you have gluten allergy and miss pizza or pasta, here's an option for you. I ordered a mixed vegetable pizza and it was just ok. The tuna I ordered was very... passable. Their tiramisu was disappointing, pannacotta was great.
Ashwita G — Google review
Restaurant with a pretty interior. They offer a variety of Italian dishes, even freshly made pasta. The gnocchi I had tastes great, although the sauce could use a little bit more seasoning in my opinion. On the other hand, the oreo milkshake I had was great.
Charlie S — Google review
A group of happy, smiling, very polite young staff serve you really fast with food that loudly tells you to come back. Truly good and tasty lunch big enough if you are hungry. Not expensive. Real pizza, delicious spaghetti, amazing tiramisu and fresh juices that you remember long after. Recommend!

The small pizza was really good! enough for me as one person. The cheese is really good and generously served. I recommend the pesto bruschetta also as a starter. Yani’s service is also great

AMAZING!! Great experience, with amazing people and vibes! Cannot recommend this place enough, GREAT people that feels like a community, the instructors are amazing and safety is their top priority. The cleanliness of the boat and the equipment great, but also the staff on the boat fresh cooked meals for breakfast and lunch as well as snacks after each dive. I was told bu two separate friends about this diving center and they were SO right, could have not been in better hands! High expectations to beat for our next dive!
Tania H — Google review
We spent a day diving with Neren, and the experience was incredible. You instantly feel like part of a wonderful community. The entire crew, dive masters, and instructors made our experience unforgettable. Everyone was highly professional, providing excellent briefings and gear preparation. A special thanks to Alex, the most reliable, kind, and patient dive master I've ever met! As a beginner diver, I was a bit nervous, but he helped me overcome my fears, allowing me to have the best day of my holiday! No more to say rather than: go diving guys and have fun with these incredible people!
Silvia L — Google review
I chose the club based on online reviews, and I wasn't disappointed. The team is excellent, very friendly and helpful. The dives are superbly prepared. They ensure not only safety but also a good atmosphere. The approach is professional, and the equipment is very good and well-maintained. The boat we chose for our dives is very spacious. It has two decks: the lower one with equipment and a place for eating, and the upper one is partially covered and has plenty of space for lounging. Several meals are included in the price, and each one is delicious. Great dive sites.
Łukasz M — Google review
My husband and I had an absolutely fantastic day with NEREN Dive School. The communication via WhatsApp was smooth and easy from the very beginning, and everything on the day itself was punctual and professionally organized. We were treated to a delicious breakfast and lunch, along with plenty of snacks throughout the day. The crew and all the dive instructors were incredibly friendly, helpful, and made us feel safe and welcome at all times. The dive sites were stunning, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. We would wholeheartedly recommend NEREN Dive School to anyone looking to dive in Komodo — truly a top-notch operation. Thank you for an unforgettable day!
Katharina K — Google review
Best dives of our lives!! — We did 6 dives over two days with Neren during our honeymoon in Komodo, and it was nothing short of amazing. Huge thanks to our incredible instructors Marc, Hector, and Miguel — they made us feel safe, supported, and excited every step of the way. Each dive was introduced with detailed briefings (complete with site drawings and safety tips), helping us feel totally prepared before jumping in. No matter your dive level, they adjust everything to suit your experience and make sure you’re comfortable and confident. The boat was super comfortable, and the meals, snacks, and coffee — all freshly made onboard — were delicious and so appreciated between dives. The gear was clean and perfectly set up for each dive, with a ton of crew support helping us suit up and making sure everything went smoothly. We were lucky enough to see the mantas and were completely blown away by the marine life and coral — truly some of the most beautiful and vibrant underwater scenes we’ve ever seen. Can’t wait to come back someday. The people we met, the amazing crew, the vibes, and the sites we saw were all 10/10. Thank you, Neren!!

i came here for one day of diving and due to the incredible service and experience i had, i ended up doing 3 days and now am thinking about coming back to continue my education. the dive sites, staff, boats, safety, and vibes are unmatched. even the food on boats was so tasty. 11/10 experience ! can’t wait to come back to Neren!
Sarah V — Google review
The diving spots are truly exceptional. Staff is amazing, explaining with a lot of pedagogy how to dive and security exercises. They speak several languages among Spanish, English and French (and probably more) and make you feel belong like their family since you get on board. Thank you again for everything, I definitely recommend Neren!
Raphaël N — Google review
So good we booked it twice! Damas was our guide and we made sure he would be the second time as well because we loved him so much. We felt very safe while we were under water with him, best guide we’ve ever had! The boat was in good comfortable and the food was delicious! We saw manta rays, sharks, turtles, a cuddle fish, and octopus!! I just got my open water about a month before this trip so I was a little nervous, but now I feel very comfortable with diving. Thank you Damas!

Bukit Amelia Sea Labuan Bajo is a popular tourist destination in West Flores, Indonesia. It offers stunning panoramic views of the Flores Sea and the surrounding islands. The hill is known for its breathtaking sunrise and sunset vistas, making it an ideal spot for nature enthusiasts. Visitors can hike to the highest peak to enjoy the best formation of hills and take in the majestic sea views. Additionally, there are small restaurants where visitors can savor local cuisine while admiring the natural beauty of Flores.
Nice place to visit for sunrise and sunset. There's a parking space at the foothill and the climb is a little steep but the locals climb in just flip flops. The views from the top are breathtakingly beautiful. The drive from the town to here is so much fun. Would recommend to visit if you're not short on time.
Shahid A — Google review
We were incredibly fortunate to decide to visit after the rain stopped. The weather was perfect, and the resulting sunset was breathtaking. There are two viewpoints overlooking the place. One is an easy climb, while the other requires a quick hike to get the entire view. However, the peace of mind that comes with the view is worth the effort. And luckily for us, we were blessed with one of the most beautiful sunsets. Even though the sun was not very visible the dramatic light effects were just stunning. At one point, the sun, though hidden, reflected an orange hue across the water for a minute. It was just beautiful.
Manish G — Google review
Beautiful sunset view from Amelia hills. I has layers of places from where sunset can be seen. I hiked to the top point. Waited for an hour and slowly people trickled in. Around 40 were there finally as the sun went down. The Sun went down below an mountain in the sea rather than directly into the sea. May be because of this month. There is no entry fee and anybody can walk up. There is a parking lot and Grab goes there. A small coffee shop is also there.
Ronald R — Google review
Easy walk 45 min from hotel, shame about insects bites. Hike up to view point definitely worth the view. Shame clouds covered sunset
Michelle T — Google review
Easy hiking and gorgeous sunrise view. We went during low season in October. So there wasn't that many visitors. We walked about 4km in total, from Ta'aktana to the hill and back to the hotel. It took about 30min leisure walk from the hotel to the top of the hill.
Weni W — Google review
This is a great spot to see an excellent and beautiful view of the beach and islands. I highly recommend coming early and bring water and don’t forget to put on sunscreen. I would love to see a sunset from here. I definitely recommend stopping here if you are looking for an amazing view especially if you like to hike.

The shared cabins are cozy with air conditioning. Guests rave about the amazing places and animals they saw during the tour, including the stunning Komodo Dragons.
It was one of the best tours I did on my trip so far!! The crew on the boat is amazing, the boat it self is really nice. Rooms have good ac and comfy beds. The diving in Komodo was incredible and everything is really well organised by the dive guides, I had Paul as a dive guide and he made sure we saw the best things underwater. We saw a lot of reef sharks, manta rays and many beautiful fish. I can recommend this trip to anyone who loves diving and a small and personal tour!!

This tour was so magical! I could not recommend it enough! I did the 3D2N tour with Captain Paul and crew. The crew were so smiley, happy to help and friendly and we got to know each one of them. There was a small group of us so it never felt overcrowded. The food was tasty, the rooms were lovely and the views were just incredible. There isn’t one thing I would change! We were brought to the best snorkel spots with snorkel guide Sandro who was able to spot everything. We saw manta rays, sharks and so many fish and beautiful coral. A trip of a lifetime 🤩

I joined a 3-day/2-night liveaboard excursion on the boat “Maika Dive”, and I can only speak in superlatives about Maika Komodo Tours. The entire program was perfectly organized and every detail exceeded expectations. The crew were not only professional but also extremely friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout the trip. The food was plentiful and delicious, with impressive variety, even with a barbecue one evening. Both the dives and the hikes were excellently planned and executed. At nearly every dive site we had the place entirely to ourselves. The diving itself was safe, well-guided, and absolutely unforgettable. The boat was very comfortable and well-equipped: air-conditioning, multiple bathrooms, fresh-water showers, a relaxing lounge with a Bluetooth speaker, sunbeds on deck, and surprisingly spacious shared cabin. With 10 guests on board by the end everyone was sad to leave. This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I would be more than happy to return and recommend Maika Komodo Tours. A huge thank you to the entire staff and crew for making it so memorable!
Botond S — Google review
You may want to underestimate this little dive shop as it’s a wee bit smaller compared to others, but that would be a huge mistake! I will be recommending Maika to everyone during my travels without hesitation. We did a 2 night 3 day tour on the Apik boat which gave us a great variety of the islands and a trip of a lifetime. The boat size was perfect. Not as big as the others that were around us but we all felt so lucky because of that. We had a mix of 7 people snorkelling and diving which was such a lovely sized group. It allowed us to all get so close not only with each-other but with the crew. Paul was my dive master and was an absolutely incredible human. All three dive and snorkeler guides were some of the best I have had as a diver. We all left the water with massive smiles on our faces every time without fail. The boat was very clean, tidy and incredibly well run by a crew that is so clearly happy to be where they are. Offering great safety and focused on ensuring a smooth, fun trip. The food was AMAZING. With a group consisting of a vegan, vegetarian and a no dietary restrictions gal we were all so happy with every meal. Our room was the bunk room on the lowest floor with comfy beds and an AC. It would be impossible to forget this trip and the many many memories that we made. It felt so surreal and blew by way too fast. Thank you Maika for everything!
Brie D — Google review
You may walk past this tour store as its a little understated compared to the many others, but from our experience you should go in and book without hesitation. We did a 2 night 3 day tour which is a well thought through blend of visits to the islands, snorkeling and diving. Something for everyone. The boat was clean, tidy and extremely well run by a crew clearly happy and focused on ensuring everything went smoothly for us. Our room on the boat was ensuit with air con, comfy bed. Food was fresh and delicious. The diving and snorkeling guides we're some of the best we've ever been with. We won't forget this trip it's created special memories for us, thank you all.
Ham A — Google review
Booked the 3D2N boat trip with Maika boat for two people. We booked for the shared room but were upgraded to a double room that was really nice with a private bathroom. The boat has a spacious deck, a big table and some space for sunbathing during navigation. We had a great time and found a great group of both passangers and crew. Since we don't have a diving licence, we tried the two dives package with the instructor and the experience was really amazing. The itinerary comprehends a tour of the main islands and diving/snorkeling points, Komodo national park, a small sunrise trek on Padar island and pink beach, so the itinerary is quite full of activities. The food consists of typical indonesian meals and was great. 100% recommend!!

Can't recommend this company more! We booked the 3D2N tour which combined diving, snorkelling & trekking. It was such an incredible experience, the team were just amazing! They were very accommodating & flexible with dives and although I only booked snorkelling allowed me to do one fun dive and pay later. Big thanks to Rosie, Mar & of course Gordi & Tessa (the magic chef) for making this experience such a memorable one. The boat itself was excellent. We had a private cabin with private ensuite. Nice chill out spaces to hide from the sun.

AMAZING experience! I did a 1-day boat tour with my mum — she went snorkeling and I tried diving for the very first time. We had an incredible day with the crew, who were all so kind and attentive. Special thanks to Faldi, who took such good care of my mum when she had some difficulty swimming due to her health condition. And of course to Benny, truly the nicest person! I did three dives with him, he held my hand the whole time and was incredibly kind and reassuring. We even had the chance to see mantas and sharks! The food on the boat was also very good. Highly recommend this tour, unforgettable memories!

Our guide was with us the whole time and made the trip even better. All the staff on the boat were fantastic. They were young and always smiling. We saw some beautiful places in Komodo National Park, even choosing the right times. We recommend them. (Translated by Google) We booked with this agency and I wouldn't recommend it. They were very helpful and available until payment and boarding. During our experience on Senada Phinisy, we had a problem, and after we told them, they disappeared. No response, no help. Book with others, and if you must book with them, ask if the boats have a generator upstairs, because if you have a cabin upstairs, you might not get any sleep. Senada Phinisy had very welcoming and helpful staff in 2025, so I'd give them a good rating, except for the generator disruption at night.

Nature & Parks
Loh Buaya Komodo National Park is a gateway to the famous Komodo National Park, established in 1980 to protect the endangered Komodo dragons and other wildlife. To reach Rinca Island, where Loh Buaya Pier is located, you can take a 2-hour ferry ride from The Labuan Bajo Ferry Terminal. Upon arrival, visitors can purchase tickets at the checkpoint and meet rangers who will guide them during trekking.
Nice walk on Rinca Island to see the Komodo dragons! The scenery is beautiful and the guided tour is super informative. We were lucky to see several dragons up close. Make sure to bring water because it gets hot, and bring some cash if you want to buy souvenirs at the end.
Capucine F — Google review
Loh Buaya is a must-visit spot on Komodo Island, part of the Komodo National Park in East Nusa Tenggara. This location is famous for being home to the Komodo dragon, the largest lizard in the world, found only in Indonesia. At Loh Buaya, visitors have the chance to see these incredible creatures in their natural habitat. Guided treks are available, allowing tourists to explore the area safely while learning about the Komodo dragons and the surrounding ecosystem. In addition to the Komodo dragons, Loh Buaya offers breathtaking natural beauty. The area features clear blue waters, lush green hills, and diverse wildlife, including deer, wild boars, and various bird species. The peaceful atmosphere makes it an ideal destination for nature lovers and adventure enthusiasts. Visitors to Loh Buaya can enjoy a tranquil experience away from crowds, making it a perfect spot for those looking for a quiet connection with nature. Local guides ensure safety and provide informative insights into the ecosystem, helping visitors appreciate the significance of the area. To reach Loh Buaya, tourists typically take a boat from Labuan Bajo, with the journey taking around one to two hours. It is important to follow the guide’s instructions to ensure safety and contribute to the conservation of the environment. Overall, Loh Buaya on Komodo Island is an extraordinary destination for those wanting to get up close with wildlife and experience the natural wonders of this unique part of the world.

I am so happy to finally make it to Komodo National Park! I have been looking forward to this trip for years, I only wish we could have spent more time adventuring the island. The guides were knowledgeable, kind and spoke English. They helped everyone to learn about and safely get pictures with the world's largest lizard. They made sure we were safe and did a great job of answering everyone's questions. We were only at the park for about an hour, but had time to walk a short trail, about 1 mile, get photos with the dragons and shop for souvenirs. I would recommend this to anyone that love lizards and wants to spend a little time hiking off the beach.
Odin J — Google review
I had an incredible experience on Rinca Island observing the Komodo dragons! The scenery was stunning, and the guided tour provided a wealth of information. The guides were not only knowledgeable but also exceptionally kind, ensuring everyone gained insights about the world’s largest lizard. The tour at the park takes around an hour, and consists of a short walking trail of about a mile, and you can capture some fantastic photos with the dragons.
Oriol R — Google review
The optimal location for Komodo dragon viewing offers minimal tourist congestion and exceptional ranger engagement, making the boat trip a worthwhile endeavor.
Kristian F — Google review
Excellent guides. Good english, provided good explanations, and helped with photos. Saw many Komodo dragons (some adults, juveniles, and babies) we also saw a ton of monkeys and a few deer Facilities are decent, they get the job done. Some shops if you want to buy a souvenir or a drink

It was great. We saw monkeys and 5 or 6 Dragons. The guides were very knowledgeable and were able to answer our questions. Their English was very good. The guides were also excellent photographers!

Waterfalls
Cunca Wulang Waterfall is a popular spot for adventure seekers and photographers alike. Located outside of Labuan Bajo, it's accessible by driving scooters or arranging transportation. The trek to the waterfall involves crossing suspension bridges and navigating through jungles, offering stunning views along the way. Once there, visitors can jump off cliffs into the water and capture impressive photos of the picturesque surroundings. It's recommended to hire a tour guide for an enriching experience and to support the local community.
At the time of writing (April 2025), there was a visitor entrance fee of Rp30k per local and Rp70k for foreigners, and an additional Rp50k for a guide. A small contribution for maintaining the walkways, a couple of bridges and general cleanliness of the area. The 10-15 minute walk down to the falls was fairly easy and the reward was being able to swim in the refreshing river, which you can climb down to with caution or if you are feeling adventurous, you can choose to jump in from 5-7meters and/or 12-15meters. I wish we had planned better and brought a large blanket and a little picnic, as there were nice areas to hang out for a few hours. Have a fresh coconut after a good heart thumping climb back to the parking lot and make sure you leave a little tip for your guide.
Melinda A — Google review
It was worth the trek with a local guide along a set path with steps and 2 bridges. It was mostly downhill which means your return will be uphill. Great scenery, nature at its best. Recommend comfortable walking shoes. Only 1 little shop at the end where you get a drink while relaxing on the rocks. On this visit the water increased and so did the river which rose above the lower rocks. The 2 rope bridges were safe to cross. Just be carefully if you visit under these conditions. Overall it was worth the experience. Don't forget to tip the guide 😁
L B — Google review
Seems like variable pricing is involved here, we paid 194k for two adults (kids are free) and a mandatory guide. The hike is straightforward though and a quick walk to the waterfall which is behind a canyon so it's probably better if you are able to swim closer to the falls, else it is only viewable from its side atop its rocky side. It's a nice waterfall, but amongst all choices in Indonesia, this is an okay waterfall (though probably only of the best around Labuan Bajo).
Rtexal T — Google review
It's a lovely waterfall - but if you follow this spot on Google maps, you'll be taking a 20minute unmarked walk through the jungle to get there. You might be better off putting the main gate as your destination and paying the guide fee! We enjoyed the waterfall, but due to following this Google maps location ended up taking a very gravelly road and a long jungle walk to get there. If that's your thing, drive here. If not, stop at the ticket sign!
Cynthia R — Google review
If you like adventure and nature, this is a good activity to do if you have a half-day to spare in Labuan Bajo. You will need approximately 1 hour for the drive, followed by a 20-minute walk down to the stunning waterfalls. Spend an hour relaxing and swimming in this beautiful spot, then prepare for a 35-minute trek back up the hill. While it is not a leisurely outing, it promises excitement and a true adventure. The waterfall and surrounding rainforest are beautiful, making the trek worthwhile. Expect a rewarding experience as you hike through this incredible landscape. A ranger guide will accompany you (you have to pay a small entrance and guide fee), ensuring you get the most out of your visit. BTW, I combined this visit with another beautiful nearby waterfall called Cunca Plias.
Oriol R — Google review
Nice waterfall with 2 places to jump: 3 and 7 meters. It's nice to swim there. You can stay as long as you want until 17h where closes. You have to pay 70k/person and 50k for the ranger (one ranger per group), so we were 2 people and we paid 190k. The ranger goes with you until the waterfall and waits for you to get you back. There is a bar close to the waterfall. The ranger is not needed, it is another scam of the indonesian goverment, they pretend the place is dangerous because it is slippery... It's true that it is expensive for indonesia, and the guide is not needed at all. Go if you have nothing more to do because it is nice to take a bath on the water, but the trip time by scooter and the price doesn't worth it
Roberto ( — Google review
Such a cool waterfall!! Lots of jump spots and the water is so welcoming. We had to pay 190k for 2 people (see attached photo). Well worth the visit though, we spent a while here playing in the water 🙂 you can access the top of the waterfall as well.

Amazing spot to soak in the cool water and jump off rocks. Not super busy. They’re adamant you have to get a guide as well as paying a ticket price. They’ll flag you down in the town and lead the way.
