Italian restaurant
Pizza restaurant
La Cucina in Labuan Bajo is a beloved family-owned Italian restaurant known for its inviting ambiance and authentic cuisine. The charming trattoria-style setting exudes a cozy Mediterranean atmosphere with maritime-inspired decor in blue and white. The focus on simplicity and elegance is reflected in the carefully prepared dishes, reminiscent of homemade Italian meals. This restaurant offers genuine Italian flavors that transport diners to the heart of Italy, making it a must-visit dining destination in Labuan Bajo.
We visited La Cucina Labuan Bajo, which is under the same management as Alma, and really enjoyed our time there. A big plus is that they provide a free shuttle from the hotel, which makes it super convenient. The food was delicious, portions were generous, and the prices very affordable — perfect for sharing and enjoying with friends and family. We had a lot of food and a great time. The owner is very friendly and welcoming, which added to the warm atmosphere. I would definitely come back next time I’m in Labuan Bajo.

I ate dinner here twice and both times I was very satisfied. The pizzas are delicious and a good size (if you get the largest size). The prices overall are pretty reasonable (bit more on the expensive side). Nevertheless I really enjoyed eating here with my friends and the staff was great!
Rafaël E — Google review
la cucina is so popular among tourist. one of the best italian restaurant in bajo. ordered pizza, gnocchi, and spaghetti. they have large portion for just two of us. taste was good, cozy place. everything was nice :)
Jessica R — Google review
La Cucina is such a charming little gem! The cozy, inviting vibe makes you feel right at home. The food is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The staff are genuinely friendly and attentive, always making sure you have everything you need. A lovely spot worth coming back again!
Hang N — Google review
I felt this place was over rated. It is super crowded in the evenings so be prepared for a long wait. Food was average, nothing to write home about. They have gluten free pizzas and pastas, though the staff didn't seem properly educated on what gluten free actually means. But if you have gluten allergy and miss pizza or pasta, here's an option for you. I ordered a mixed vegetable pizza and it was just ok. The tuna I ordered was very... passable. Their tiramisu was disappointing, pannacotta was great.
Ashwita G — Google review
Restaurant with a pretty interior. They offer a variety of Italian dishes, even freshly made pasta. The gnocchi I had tastes great, although the sauce could use a little bit more seasoning in my opinion. On the other hand, the oreo milkshake I had was great.
Charlie S — Google review
A group of happy, smiling, very polite young staff serve you really fast with food that loudly tells you to come back. Truly good and tasty lunch big enough if you are hungry. Not expensive. Real pizza, delicious spaghetti, amazing tiramisu and fresh juices that you remember long after. Recommend!
Rafał B — Google review
The small pizza was really good! enough for me as one person. The cheese is really good and generously served. I recommend the pesto bruschetta also as a starter. Yani’s service is also great

Japanese restaurant
Fusion restaurant
Organic restaurant
Sushi restaurant
Happy Banana Komodo, a Japanese fusion restaurant located in Labuan Bajo, is renowned for its delectable sushi and has earned a spot among the top five restaurants in the area on Tripadvisor. Visitors rave about the divine food, particularly the sushi and udon noodles. The menu offers many vegan options and unique variations of Buddha bowls such as the sea goddess' or geisha' bowls.
For whatever reason, there seems to be a lot of Japanese food on this island, and the Happy Banana does it super well. I was very happy to find a large selection of vegan items, including vegan katsu!! Not a common item to find. The food was wonderful, the service was quick and super nice, and some of the comfiest chairs I’ve sat in at a restaurant. For westerners looking for a break from the humidity- they had the AC blasting and was nice and cool after trekking back and forth with our bags and scuba gear. Would go again in a heartbeat.
Jason T — Google review
After several days eating Indonesian foods, it’s good to have a different cuisine. Salmon rolls was tasty but came with thin salmon. Noodle was topped with cooked tuna cube. The restaurant only serves tuna and salmon. I think that tuna is the best to be eaten raw not well done. As there is no pork on the island, therefore the noodles were quite limited for Japanese cuisine.
Sunyawit S — Google review
Please make yourself a favour and visit this place, not only they have tons of vegan options, they have a sustainable caught fish and eggs from free range. Additionally it’s led by all female team. The service is incredible and super nice, stuff speaks good English and are very friendly (I ordered cappuccino with oat milk, they gave me accidentally a cow milk instead and when I pointed it out they were super professional and solved the situation with zero stress and were very apologetic - exactly what you want in this scenario ❤️). Thank you so much and hopefully I will have a pleasure to visit again. Ahh and the tofu katsu wrap was incredible 🤤.
Rebecca Š — Google review
Very good food and lovely atmosphere and service. Great selection inc lots of veggie and vegan options, all day breakfast etc. Vegan poke bowl and veggie katsu bowl were amazing, smoothies all very good and fresh and coffee great too. Prices are decent for the quality and freshness. Good healthy food.
Aaron F — Google review
This place was recommended to us by some people living in the area as their "favourite place to eat", and I have to say it did not disappoint. For breakfast the omelette was nice though the smoothie bowl had clearly been standing for a short amount of time and was very cold. For dinner we had a sushi platter. The sushi was good quality. There are a lot of options which can be a bit overwhelming but nice to have a choice I guess. Food was not incredibly special and a bit on the expensive side so 5 stars is stretching it a bit but if you are not on a tight budget and looking for a place to eat this is definitely a good option if not the best in the area.
W. V — Google review
best restaurant in town! We have been here several times for breakfast and dinner and it always tasted delicious. If you’re a vegan you will find plenty of options (:
Melanie N — Google review
The food met our expectations, the staff were friendly, and the meals were prepared quickly. Everything was reasonably priced. The restrooms were clean. Overall, everything was perfectly fine.
Josef Z — Google review
A very good Japanese restaurant with a beautifully designed interior. The food and service were excellent, and while the prices are on the higher side, the quality justifies it. The indoor area can get a bit noisy when it’s crowded, but overall it is definitely worth recommending.

Bar
When in Labuan Bajo, a visit to Paradise Bar is a must. This reggae-themed bar offers stunning views of the bay and ocean, making it the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring. The lively atmosphere includes live music and a party vibe most nights, with Saturdays featuring a small cover charge. While some visitors find the drinks pricey, many appreciate the comfortable setting and friendly staff.
Great vibes, good music, and the best sunset view in Labuan Bajo. 🌅 Paradise Bar truly lives up to its name — it’s the kind of place where you can just relax with a drink, listen to live music, and watch the sky turn orange over the sea. The crowd is friendly, the staff are chill, and the atmosphere feels like a little island party. Perfect spot to end the night after a day of exploring or sailing.
Wani — Google review
Great views for the sunset but we were the only guests at 5pm. I ordered a mojito and banana milkshake, but they didn't have fruits. Also from the beers they only had Bintang, although in the menu there were many options. Also the menu that was given to us had plenty of missing pages and the waiter never came to our table, we had to look for him around the premise. Maybe it's better at night.
Danny P — Google review
Great location for watching the sunset, but the service left a lot to be desired. We rocked up right as they opened (5pm) and asked about a happy hour. The guy behind the counter said he could do us a happy hour (5pm-7pm) with a special gin-based drink. When we went to pay at the end, he told us it'd be the same price as normal, no reduced rate. What's the point of calling it a happy hour then? Go there and enjoy the drinks + sunset, but don't believe them if they say there are special deals on.
Rakhesh M — Google review
Great place to have a drink and enjoy sunset view. During night time they habe live music. Hope we can enjoy it during our next stay when we have more time.
Timo — Google review
It was fun in this local bar. Good band, mates We enjoyed that. Cheers again 🥂
Kay N — Google review
Came for drinks. At 9 pm very empty, but filling up later. Fantastic view. Live band played, ok, nothing exciting. Airy space, friendly service
Anselm R — Google review
Literally the worst “nachos” and French fries I’ve ever had. Nachos tasted like decades old, stale Fritos and the salsa was some cousin of mayonnaise. The French fries were fried in butter? Idk still trying to figure that one out. Drinks were okay- not amazing but not nearly as offensive as the food. Great view though 🤌
Emily S — Google review
I went there to watch for sunset and it's magical. I didn't order any food but a cocktail. It's a definitely good spot for sunset in Labuan Bajo❤️❤️❤️

Villa
Nestled in a secluded cove, Plataran Komodo Resort & Spa is a luxurious beachfront retreat offering an array of private villas, including the exclusive Hanging Pool Villas with their own infinity pools. The resort's Javanese-style accommodations provide comfort and elegance, while its three restaurants, including the open-air Xanadu and the sunset-perfect Atlantis on the Rock, offer delightful dining experiences.
I could go on and on about how much I love this hotel. From the moment we arrived I felt pampered and relaxed. The staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming, especially our butler Fabi. The room was luxurious; I wish I could live in it. There’s lots to do on the property, from snorkeling, kayaking, yoga, spa, and more. The food was delicious and they accommodated changes and dietary restrictions. Plataran Komodo is beautifully Indonesian and uniquely comfortable. Looking forward to staying here again and visiting their other properties in Indonesia.
Catherine P — Google review
Wonderful hotel on the beach well integrated in the landscape. Huge rooms with amazing bathrooms both inside and outside ! Very nice staff. Snorkelling from.the beach or the pier, romantic private dinner on the beach and breakfast at sunrise on the hills. Magical moments. So much better than the awful huge other "luxury" hotels nearby.
GEHIN C — Google review
For anyone seeking a true escape from Bali's chaos, Labuan Bajo and Plataran Komodo Resort offer a perfect oasis. The property is tranquil, secluded, and built for ultimate relaxation. What truly makes this resort special is the staff. The service was not just good, it was excellent—every team member was attentive, warm, and professional, making us feel completely cared for. It's the ideal place to unwind in a beautiful, tranquil setting with five-star hospitality. We left feeling completely recharged.
Josh — Google review
Plataran Komodo was one of the most special parts of my entire Indonesia trip. Tucked away on a quiet beach with absolutely stunning views of surrounding islands and the ocean, the resort felt like a private retreat, time slowed down - absolute bliss. I was greeted by smiles and given a tasty welcome drink while checking in. My villa was spacious and beautifully styled with wood, stone, and earthy textures, both luxurious and grounded. loved the open-air bath and shower, such a great design. My Villa had a private entrance, with a garden surrounding it, including an outdoor area and hammock. The jetty was incredibly convenient for boat tours. I was picked up and dropped off right there, making each island excursion seamless. But what really made the stay special was the service. I was supported throughout by Daniel, my butler via WhatsApp, who was truly exceptional, always prompt, kind and eager to help with anything I needed. Highly recommended if you're looking to disconnect or reconnect with nature, wish I stayed longer.
Eli T — Google review
We had a truly memorable stay. The rooms are luxurious and the service impeccable. Our butler was Daniel who took such good care of us. All the staff went out of their way to make us feel really special. On our last night we had the beachfront barbecue. We did it justice but we couldn’t eat anything the next day.
Jim F — Google review
This place is just spectacular! The staff was amazing. The rooms were beautiful, quiet, luxurious and comfortable. They totally pampered you in every way (hand written notes, fresh fruit in your room, water left at your front door to wash your feet) This is the most beautiful bathroom I've ever seen...lol 😍❤️ and it was the biggest indoor and outdoor bathroom I've ever seen in all my travels. The food here was great *esp the breakfast. I was disappointed in the water/ocean here as it was not as nice as some of the other places I have stayed in bali but....the pool was really nice. If you go onto the dock-the snorkeling was really nice!
Connemara22 — Google review
We thoroughly enjoyed the luxury and were lavishly pampered throughout our stay. The accommodation is immaculate, the beds are supremely comfortable and the bathroom is spacious; nothing is lacking. There is a selection of pillows to suit every preference. Arrival was exceptional: a welcome drink, a guided tour of the resort and a warm personal introduction to our villa. The food is of high quality, with both restaurants offering similar menus. We found the international buffet to be of slightly lesser standard. The room is serviced twice daily. Communication is handled through a dedicated personal butler. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Steve for his exemplary service and thoughtful personal touches. As members of the LGBTQ community we felt both safe and cherished. I wholeheartedly recommend Plataran Komodo.
H D — Google review
This place is a like a tropical oasis. A stunning property with attentive staff. It is a bit secluded and with only two restaurants, limited food choices. The room opened up to the beach and was spacious. You’d be hard pressed to find a more beautiful setting.

Copper Bonnet Bistro & Bar is a popular dining spot in Labuan Bajo, offering a diverse menu with international, Mediterranean, and European influences. Situated near the picturesque Komodo National Park, this bistro provides a welcoming atmosphere for visitors to enjoy delicious meals. The restaurant's location makes it convenient for tourists exploring the area.
We loved the drinks and food at Copper Bonnet. The cocktail menu was incredible and had so many options with amazing flavors. Over two nights we tried many of the cocktails (some pictured here). The food was also great- the paneer and watermelon appetizers were refreshing and tasty. We also had macaroni and cheese, a burger, and the tandoori chickpeas meals and they were incredible. The vibes were lovely- refreshing after a day out in the sun. Definitely stop by the Copper Bonnet for drinks, dinner, or both!
Alexis C — Google review
Fantastic food- we got the Australian wagu burger and tried at least 6 or 7 of the drinks over the time we were in Labuan. We had both a lunch and dinner here The drinks are served with a story, the bartenders are fantastic, and the food is high quality but well priced. They have TONS of unique syrups and bitters. The staff try them daily to ensure they aren’t spoiling, and that allows for so many unique Indonesian cocktails. Rio is a fantastic bartender!
Ashley F — Google review
My friend and I were there for many hours on a taco Tuesday and it was phenomenal! The BEST craft cocktails and the tacos were to die for. Dudud and Kon were incredible servers and were very helpful and friendly. We have two days in Labuan Bajo and both days will be here for meals :) Highly recommend!

Loved everything about this place! We didn’t eat, we just had some drink and they were amazing! Variety of choices from their drink list which is really particular and worth to try. Also, the service is amazing, they gave us a glass of water and a little snack. Would definitely come back for drinks!
Giulia D — Google review
Amazing cocktails, very creative. Great vibe, really friendly staff. Very clean throughout. We had the crispy Indian cheese, watermelon & feta salad and garlic bread and they were all absolutely fantastic. 100% recommend this place, we want to return to Labuan Bajo in the future and we will definitely be returning back to this cocktail bar
Angharad D — Google review
Incredible array of cocktails to choose from! Absolutely delicious. Their Greek salad was absolutely delicious too, highly recommend.
Amelysimpson — Google review
It was a refreshing change from the usual restaurants around. Cocktails on par. The cocktail menu was very interesting and themed after Magellens sea explorations on his way to Indonasia. I had the slow-cooked beef tacos for my meal. It wasn't the expected Mexican tacos but their take on tacos and it tasted excellent. If you want to treat yourself this restaurant is a good choice.

Friendly waiters, great background music and one of the best burgers I’ve ever had in my life. The fries was amazing too and the ribs melted in your mouth. Worth visiting every time.

Lounge
Perched atop the AYANA Komodo Resort in Labuan Bajo, UNIQUE Rooftop Bar offers a unique dining experience with its delectable seafood dishes and breathtaking sunset views. The bar serves Mexican-inspired cuisines like Tostada Fiesta, Beef Nachos, Burritos, and Churros alongside a variety of alcoholic drinks including margaritas and tequila.
There are sunset views, and then there’s the sunset from AYANA Komodo’s rooftop bar. Nothing quite prepares you for that moment when the sky erupts into shades of orange, pink, and purple, reflecting off the ocean like a living painting. With a front-row seat to this spectacle, I sipped on the WAECICU BEACH TONIC—a refreshing, herb-infused gin cocktail with cucumber, tomato, and a subtle chili kick. It was unexpectedly complex yet perfectly balanced, just like the way the sun lingered on the horizon before slipping away. For something a little stronger, I tried KAFE LA BAJO, a cocktail infused with local Flores coffee and Arak Bali. The deep, bold espresso notes blended with vanilla and moringa cheese cream, creating a drink that was as much a dessert as it was a nightcap. As the evening breeze rolled in, the bar's open-air design made it feel like we were floating above the ocean, just soaking in the magic of Labuan Bajo. It’s the kind of place where time slows down, conversations flow effortlessly, and every sip is a moment to remember.
Genta — Google review
Such a great venue, with good service, a spectacular view and a lot of potential. Highly recommended for a drink or special occasion during a trip to Labuan Bajo. I suspect bookings might be needed. When we arrived shortly before sunset on a Friday, the bar wasn't staffed or set up. Arrangements were made promptly, nonetheless. Also, the cocktails are quite expensive (IDR200K or more) for Indonesia. This would be fine if the recipes were more elaborate, but they mostly only have one type of alcohol. This is more like a long drink. Despite the shortcomings, I would come back for the view, venue and friendly service.
Luke — Google review
Came here for the hookah; it was great, we got the mango lassi flavor. Drinks were nice too. Only tried the “chip ship,” which was kind of disappointing- but I’m not a huge fan of fries anyway. The view was amazing and vibe was dope

We came to this bar with high hopes after being recommended by friends to come. However, we were sadly let down by the service. One member of our party ordered a specific drink, along with other drinks and food items that we ordered. After 5 minutes, another waitress came and suggested that we "upgrade" the drink to another one which was more than twice the price. We said no thank you, but the waitress came with the "upgraded" drink anyway. When we tried to explain that we had actually ordered another drink, the bar tried to insist that we had ordered the "upgraded" drink and so could not send it back to the bar. After some back and forth, another waitress eventually gave us the drink we had wanted, but said that we had to pay for the "upgraded" drink as the drink was expensive and had already been made. Out of kindness, we decided to just pay for the drink as requested. But while we accept that it was an honest mistake and might be a translation issue, we were very disappointed that we were asked to pay for a mistake which was not our's. It also made us wonder if this was a deliberate policy to "upgrade" drinks for customers to get more money. On the plus side, the bar had excellent atmosphere and was otherwise a lovely place to be at, so it was a pity that our experience had to be let down by this.

Guests can enjoy the inviting swimming pool surrounded by a beautiful tropical garden, as well as facilities such as a billiards table, dart game, and spa treatments. Additionally, movie nights are hosted every Friday and Sunday.
Love the place. Nice clear blue pool is such an oasis in the middle of Labuan Bajo heat. The outdoor setup is wonderful. Yes it's hot hot in the middle of the day, but it's still enjoyable nonetheless. Variety of food was okay. Taste wise, it was not the best but considering the pricing, I guess it's as good as you can get in here. Service was excellent

We were there for dinner and we were also the last customers. We didn't know it closed at 9 pm. We were quickly "asked to leave" as the closing time approached. Nice place to chill with a small swimming pool. We would have stayed longer with the cozy atmosphere. Too bad it closed too early.

Good place for lunch. Although the service was a bit on the slower side, the food itself was quite nice. We sat right in front of the pool and enjoyed the weather while we ate. Seems like they had some nice drink options, so maybe we will try them out next time.

A peaceful and pleasant spot This place has such a lovely atmosphere—perfect for a relaxed meal or a quiet afternoon. Their lime tea is super refreshing, and I always enjoy sitting by the swimming pool. The staff are warm and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. Definitely a spot I enjoy coming back to.

A great place to relax. We spent the afternoon here and enjoyed the food, pool, and music. Comfortable lounges and a beautiful garden.

Four stars for environment, three stars for food. We used their instagram account to order the food and realized 3/4 of the items there are not available completely. Very puzzling. The food was edible but I the excitement I got from the place was killed immediately after eating the food. Come here and chill by the poolside with some small bites or have a game of pool with drinks instead.

Unpleasant experience. The service was rude, the area felt dusty, and the sofa was dirty. The chilling area is in serious need of renovation.

Terrific bar. Great service & lovely staff. We stayed at the Ayana Hotel and came here every day of our stay almost. We had some lovely chats with the lifeguards and the servers here and it was always pleasant staying in their company. The tiki fizz cocktail is incredible, as well as the croquettes. All food/drink here is expensive but it’s the price you pay staying around such an amazing view and great staff.

There’s something surreal about sipping cocktails right in the middle of the ocean, and that’s exactly what Naga Bar offers. Perched at the very end of AYANA’s jetty, this floating bar feels like an escape within an escape—a place where time slows, the sea breeze kisses your skin, and the sunset paints the sky in fiery hues. Walking along the jetty towards Naga Bar, the view alone was worth the visit. The moment I arrived, I was greeted by the sound of waves beneath me and the sight of open-air seating with uninterrupted ocean views. It felt intimate, exclusive, and just a little magical. I started with the Waecicu Beach Tonic, a gin-based cocktail infused with cucumber, tomato, chili, and celery. It was refreshing yet had an unexpected kick—perfect for cooling down after a long day of island adventures. Paired with the gentle sway of the bar over the water, it was easily one of the best sundowner experiences I’ve had. As the sky transformed into a kaleidoscope of orange, pink, and purple, I moved on to a Kafe La Bajo, an espresso-based cocktail made with Flores coffee-infused arak, Nusantara coffee liqueur, and vanilla. Strong, smooth, with a hint of sweetness—it was the perfect nightcap as the stars started to peek through. What truly sets Naga Bar apart isn’t just the drinks, though—it’s the atmosphere. Sitting there, surrounded by nothing but the ocean, with soft music playing in the background and the distant twinkle of Labuan Bajo’s coastline, it felt like a scene straight out of a travel dream.

Bar is perched out into the sea, stunning views of the ocean and the island in the middle of the ocean. Service was great despite us not being hotel guests. Very friendly and kind staff. We went for a drink at the bar and there were ample sun umbrellas and comfortable lounge chairs. Very pleasant experience, worth every penny.

Great view from the bar to watch the sunset. We went to the bar although we were no guests of the hotel. Just take the elevator in the lobby to ground floor and walk to the pier. There is a happy hour from 5 to 7pm and affordable snacks on the menu as well.

**Naga Bar Review: A Scenic Yet Flawed Experience at Ayana Komodo** Nestled in the stunning Ayana Komodo resort, Naga Bar promises an experience that teeters between awe and frustration. The venue's main, and perhaps only, timeless charm lies in its breathtaking view. Perched with a panoramic vista, it offers an unrivaled spectacle of the islands and the vast sea, a scene that captivates and mesmerizes. However, this enchanting backdrop stands in stark contrast to the bar's culinary and service aspects. The food selection at Naga Bar is notably limited, a point of contention for those expecting a varied menu. The options, though finely presented, fall short in satisfying the diverse palates of its global clientele. Service-wise, Naga Bar seems to struggle significantly. During my visit, a common thread among patrons was the slow service. Waitresses often appeared to mishear orders, leading to a mix-up in deliveries and a palpable air of customer dissatisfaction. This aspect of the experience distinctly dampens the overall ambiance. Moreover, the pricing of the cocktails, a crucial element of any bar, is a point of debate. While the mixology skills are commendable, the cost is steep, bordering on overpriced. This disparity in value for money is felt more acutely due to the shortcomings in other areas. In conclusion, Naga Bar at Ayana Komodo is a paradox of sorts. Its unparalleled views offer a slice of paradise, yet the experience is marred by culinary limitations and service challenges. For those seeking a visual feast, it's a must-visit, but for an all-encompassing bar experience, it may leave something to be desired.

(Came as visitors, i.e., not hotel guests). Beautiful spot to lounge or sit, enjoy drinks and watch sunset. Quite pricy but nice as a little treat (prices are marked up, e.g., bintang is 100k rather than the usual ~50 to 75k depending on size, in town. Therefore, drinks will cost minimum 100k). The bar menu only has drinks and light bites, but you can order bigger meals like pizzas if you ask the staff. Note as well that the bar menu has some beers and signature cocktails, but you can order standard cocktails (e.g. a regular Moscow mule or mojito) like you would any other bar. Feels silly to have to write that but just in case.

One of the most beautiful bar i have ever visited. The view and atmosphere Is amazing! The bar Is built on a stilt house directly on the Sea in front of the Islands. We visited during sunset and we got also 2 towels to stay in the sunbeds together with the Happy Hour. The sunset in Labuan Bajo Is really a show to enjoy. All perfect, also cocktails were good. Only negative note: we entered in this Place as customer passing through the resort ( the reception told that was possible). Despite of this ,the staff asked us 3 times our room number, our name, the hotel in which we stayed. This was a bit annoying because i felt not so confortable, even if i was paying like other people. Seems that our service was like a "B level" and staff underlined this.

Warung Brothers Bajo is a must-visit spot in Labuan Bajo, offering a laid-back atmosphere and stunning sunset views. The unassuming exterior gives way to a cool vibe inside, where you can enjoy delicious local cuisine with a unique twist. The menu features inspired dishes from various parts of Flores, enhanced by the culinary skills of the Sardinian owner and his brother. Don't miss their cassava mix served with curry or the delectable squid in black sauce.
This place has a soul, and the setting is incredibly inviting. When I arrived, it was mostly empty, so I chose the table facing the beach, which was the most appealing. However, the place fills up quickly, and by the time the evening arrived, it was packed. They started playing live music soon after, and it was a beautiful affair. The food was amazing. The plate of fish lomak was unique, flavorful, and delectable. To accompany it, they served a special cocktail that was refreshingly good. The best part was their cat, who took a liking to me and kept coming up to play with me. It was so adorable!

This is a unique dining spot, from the building, the seating, the tables, and the stairway access on the second floor. There's a live musician with a view of the beach. I was initially skeptical about the food, but after buying and enjoying it, it was delicious. The service is very friendly and highly. recommended!

The food is excellent!!! I personally like the squid ink squid a lot. The other hot fav was the tete lomak - we had the chicken one 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 The rolled fish was tasty as well. Do note that each main comes with rice and sides so it’s a full complete meal by itself. You can of course overdo it like we did ordering 3 mains for 2 pax 🤣 but everything was delicious. The cocktail recommended by the boss was yummy but the moke (local spirit) in it has quite the kick!

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for the past 4 days, and it has truly made my stay so much better! The food is absolutely delicious — every dish is full of flavor. The live band is the heart of the place: they’re so sweet, friendly, and make you feel completely at home. With great music, warm vibes, and amazing food, it’s the kind of place you keep wanting to come back to. Highly recommend! And….. WE WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER YOU THIS WAY 🫶 Roxane

Great spot in Labuan Bajo! We went there 4 nights in a row and it was just as good every time. There’s a live band every evening — super talented and great singers. The atmosphere is amazing, and sometimes you can even dance after dinner. The staff is lovely, really friendly and kind. The food is excellent — we tried the Tete Lomak Chicken, the fish, the black ink squid, and the Moleo, and everything was delicious. The cocktails made with sopi (local alcohol) are also very good. And we never got sick — everything was fresh and well prepared. Definitely a place we highly recommend!

A Truly Unforgettable Local Experience If you're looking for a place that offers more than just a meal, this restaurant is an absolute gem. The food is good and authentically local. But what truly makes this place stand out is the atmosphere. There's live music that brings the space to life, creating a warm and joyful vibe. The musicians are incredibly talented, and the best part? They sometimes invite guests to join in! If you're brave enough, you might find yourself singing or playing guitar alongside real professionals — an unforgettable experience! The staff is just as amazing. They are genuinely kind and go out of their way to make everyone, especially foreigners, feel included and welcomed. It’s clear that they truly care about creating a sense of community for all their guests. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a taste of local culture, great music, and heartfelt hospitality.

The food here is really good! You can not not finish it! Takes a while for the food to come, but it's worth it! Don't underestimate the look of the 'warung'/small hut, the taste of the food is 5 star. The owner was a chef on a cruise ship. Pardon my messy photos, can't wait to finish eating.

Pizza restaurant
MEDITERRANEO, located in the heart of Labuan Bajo, offers a delightful Italian and Mediterranean dining experience. The restaurant features classic Italian and Mediterranean dishes that will leave you saying "delizioso." While it's known for its thin-crust wood-fired pizzas available after 17:00, the menu also includes an array of Western and local food options. The interior provides a cozy atmosphere with both traditional seating and bean bags for a relaxed vibe.
Totally exceeded our expectations! Top-quality food and superb attentive service. Price quality ratio is excellent, they actually delivered more than the price tags compared to other restaurants in the area. The only thing I can fault them was that we were given our seconds as soon as they removed our starter plates. Apart from that thumbs up, they still deserve the 5-star rating!
Daniel S — Google review
Nice restaurant with really great service and a very nice preparation of the food. When it comes to the pizzas they are ok but would be great if they stay a bit longer in the oven to be more crispy and I would add a bit more sold to the dough. But I think this is a matter of personal taste. The desert was outstanding!

A good italinese restaurant in town. The restaurant is just on the roadside but also has entrance from the pier. Food was magnificent, there is an array choice of western or local food. They are also famous with thin crust wood fire baked pizza, it was lovely. Service from staff was excellent. Ambience was really good for simple hanging out or dining. Pricewise, can be a little bit high for locals
Leo L — Google review
We took a lunch here, I was hoping for a pizza but these are available after 17:00. Interior has not only tables for seating but also bean bags if that's what you like. Plenty of room with tables for couples up to large groups. The seating is hard chairs with padding so nice and comfortable. No air con but fan cooled as it's an open restaurant. We ordered a vegetarian mezzaluna, squid ink spaghetti and a vegetarian nasi goreng. Food was swiftly delivered and all together as requested. The mezzaluna is a small portion but very tasty. Filling and sauce were both nice and the pasta was al dente on our visit. The squid ink spaghetti was very tasty my girlfriend said, the anchovies were a great accompaniment to the sauce but being Thai she would of liked it more spicy. The spaghetti only had 1 chilli rating so if you like a spicy dish request it more spicy. The nasi goreng was amazing! Yet again a small size but with what we had and this to share we were stuffed afterwards. There looked like a good selection of wines available, with different beers to. Service was fantastic, very friendly helpful and polite. Our service girl even had a laugh with us which we like. Free WiFi available For the 3 dishes, 4 beers and a lime juice expect to pay just over 400,000IDR A nice place to enjoy some Italian style food in a relaxing atmosphere, a place we will return to before we leave Labuan bajo!

The restaurant was super close to where we were staying so we figured we give it a shot. The staff was friendly and the food service was fast. It’s a little bit expensive and not the greatest portions sizes for what you pay but it was good. It’s offer free WiFi that was fast.

I was not impressed at all with this place. If you want to pay a lot of money for bad food, go ahead, but I wouldn't go back again. There were a couple of positives about it. First, the atmosphere is nice, with comfortable bean bags to sit on. Second, the presentation of the food is done pretty well. Those are the best things I can say, because everything else was bad. The food tasted bad, even though it looked good. They pretend to be fancy by doing the smear of tasteless sauce on the plate. The fish I ordered was inferior in taste to the fish I got down the road at the fish market, but it cost much more. It was served on a bed of limp and almost rotten lettuce, which I did not eat because it was already turning brown. When I showed the server, she just shrugged and didn't care at all.

Was not at all impressed with the food. Fancy description of food but was served below average dishes. Presentation was way better than taste. Coming here at night was a feast- for the mosquitoes.

WARUNG WARUNG is a charming wooden grill restaurant that offers a delightful fusion of Indonesian cuisine and BBQ dishes. It's a popular spot in town, known for its delicious local food and great views. Visitors rave about the mouthwatering curry with cassava and the delectable breakfast options like smoothie bowls and pancakes. The burgers are also highly recommended. Guests love the super fine prices, making it an all-around excellent dining choice.
This place is a must try when you’re in town, the staff is very kind, and the food is very tasty. Even though it’s a bit far from the central city just take a grab or walk the streets! The first time I got myself a dragon fruit smoothie bowl and the fried banana. The second time they were sold out of the smoothie bowl, so I got the chicken noodles and friend banana again (since they were so good the first time). The taste is delicious and the portions (especially of the banana) is great. The prices are very reasonable. Price/ quality ratio definitely 5/5!

We went here for dinner, while looking for some local Indonesian dishes. The place has a peaceful, chill vibe. Kids friendly as well. Food was okayish, not bad at all but not great as well. Hence 3.5 star for food. We had Nasi Goreng (sea food) & Nasi Campur (Chicken)

Traditional warung, newly renovated, but still authentic. The staff is young and smiling, the outdoor nice & cozy, but the real protagonist is the food: simply amazing. We had one of the best nasi campur after one month in Indonesia! Also the nasi ayam, with hand made noodles were amazing. Totally recommend!!
Davide V — Google review
Average food, slow service, but nice atmosphere. Mostly seems overpriced. The staff was very nice and helpful, but overall we wouldn't return here mainly because the food is average and overpriced. Seems geared toward tourists.
Angela A — Google review
I think I wasn’t very lucky that day—it was raining, and there were only a few seats inside. After moving around a couple of times, I finally managed to get a spot, and that’s probably where things went wrong. The waitress seemed to mix up my order, and the food took over 45 minutes to arrive. On the bright side, the food itself was good, though I expected the fish soup to have small chunks instead of an entire fish inside—not exactly the easiest thing to eat. There were also a couple of large groups on the terrace, which probably didn’t help with the service. I’d probably give them another chance, but definitely order something different.

For Aussies out there, this is way over priced. Costs more than your average wine bar in central Melbourne. The place is empty for that reason. The darts board takes some adjustment of the traditional playing style. but the wee guy behind the bar let us put our own tunes on and the only bar on this street with any vibe on a weekday. Cheap beers a nice buzz with a few locals and tourists around. Good selection of local beers.

No tap, just bottles and cans. The beer menu was a bit misleading because they only had about half of the beers. Maybe we were just unlucky, but during our visit the staff struggled with both: English and beer expertise (they sold us Kura Kura lager as IPA). There is no snack option.

Wae Cicu Bar is the perfect spot to unwind and soak up the laid-back atmosphere. With reasonably priced food and drinks, you can enjoy generous portions that are well-spiced, though some dishes may lean a bit salty. While vegetarian options are limited, the beach in front offers a clean area for lounging and swimming, despite not being ideal for snorkeling due to dead coral.
You have to wait some time for your dish but in a chill place like this is definitely not a problem. Don't understand the people who pretend to be in a McDonald's... so stupid. Price is very cheap as mie goreng seafood is 40k and grilled fish (grouper) only 65k extremely fresh directly from the town fish market and cooked deliciously. The location is awesome and very relaxing, the sea is very calm, perfect for a swim. Most of the time there's live music in the afternoon that make the atmosphere so good. Just 5 min from the city center. Love u guys.❤️

Deep-fried squid was cooked for us for 30 minutes, despite the fact that there was no one in the cafe except us. Obviously, the oil in which they were cooked did not change for a very long time, the squid was not vex and very tough. The table is dirty and sticky, a filled and smelly trash can in front of the table, and of course all this overpriced. 1 beer 2 cola, squid, calamar and fruit plate 300000

Bar owner lacks business sense- most things on menu not available and toilet disgusting. Waiters try hard to please, enough tables and seating plus dj in the late afternoon. It is cheap although service very slow even when there’s only 2 people eating. It could be a great place with a bit of effort!
Marjorie D — Google review
Good place to just chill out for a day. Food and drinks are reasonably priced, a bit too salty to my taste but portions are good and appropriately spiced. Not a lot of vegetarian options. There is a beach in front which is not really suitable for snorkeling (not much to see, dead coral) and there is some trash, but the part in front of the restaurant is clean and a lot of people were lounging around and swimming. There is a swing, cute flowerpots and a lot of seating options too. They also rent out paddle boards which is amazing. You can use this to paddle a bit further to the island across, here you’ll find a lot of gorgeous and shallow coral reefs. A point of improvement for 5 stars: There were only a few trash cans around which were already full and the clean up of your table after finishing a meal takes a while, resulting in you ending up with a lot of rubbish on your table after a few meals. No napkins were provided with the cutlery. Note: You also have to pay for the entrance of the beach which was 40k for 2 persons. Might not be a lot for some people but does seem a bit silly as the beach looks a bit run down and there is quite a bit of trash in the water and around the beach. Would have liked to see that the fee was translated into a nice maintained and clean beach.

If you find yourself in Labuan Bajo, make sure to check out Bajo Booze, a delightful late-night gem that truly exceeded my expectations. Open past the usual hours, it’s easily accessible and offers a cozy atmosphere. I arrived around 11 PM and was initially alone but soon welcomed by fellow diners. The menu is simple yet packed with flavor; I savored the perfectly barbecued beef sirloin while enjoying the view from the patio.
The food especially grilled pork is the best one, you need to try but the grilled beef is also good. The bbq sauce need to improve because for me the taste is salty. The cocktails need to improve. The place is quite nice but i think at least it needs fan.

Was so pleased to discover this late night option in LBJ on my first night visiting here. I never expect much of the one or two places that stay open past all others. Easy to access from town, I was the only person here at the time I arrived, almost 11:00pm, but eventually others came along. The menu is straightforward and delicious. I ordered the beef sirloin, which was bbq'd to perfection, in view on the patio. It came with choice of one sauce, which could have been a slightly larger size to match the portion of the meat, but it was very nice, and I ended up just ordering two more sambals to sauce up the rest, both incredibly tasty. I had the steamed veg on the side, simple and lovely. The staff were so lovely and accommodating, and took no offence when I kindly asked them to cook the steak just a touch longer when it was originally served too rare to my liking - but I appreciated that it was served with caution and not risked being overdone! One staff member even took his motorcycle down the street to buy me a pack of cigarettes so I didn't have to leave my cold beer on the table. I would never expect this, but just want to say how incredibly caring it was that they wanted to make sure I relax and have a nice experience. The place is very clean and on a nice quiet street. I'm definitely coming back at least once more during my stay here to try other menu items, and will remember to take photos - was too eager to dive in this time!

Good quality food and great place for meat lovers, delicious BBQ chicken and beef 😋 and very nice service and atmosphere. They have great prices also for the quality of the meal we had. They also have the local drink, named sopi mixed with a variety of fruit juices that make it so nice to drink. We came here a few times in our stay in Labuan Bajo, recommended to try👌

For me is easy to say is the best restaurant in Bajo, food is amazing the sopi is out of this world, not expensive. And the owners are amazing people! Very good music selection, the service is fast and very efficient, fresh and tasty food! Most of the food is grilled, delicious food!! I keep coming at least 2 a 3 times a week!!

Came here for the peri chicken and was not disappointed. Ended up getting a half chicken and beef, cooked fresh right in front of us, had amazing flavour. Good choice of sauces and sides, definitely recommend the chimichurri. Staff were really attentive and chatty, seemed genuinely interested about what we’d been up to, was very nice! If you’re in Labaun Bajo, definitely worth the visit.
