Pub
British restaurant
Restaurant
Crown Egham is a charming traditional pub with a cozy atmosphere, featuring bare floorboards, fireside sofas, and a lovely terrace garden. It's an ideal spot for various occasions such as a quick pub lunch, relaxed drinks at the end of the week, or gatherings with friends and family. The menu offers classic pub grub like burgers and pies alongside more gourmet options such as slow-roasted lamb shank and grilled chicken and chorizo skewers.
Great little pub in Egham, 1st week of our visit, 3 times already in The Ctown, London Pride mmm yummy. George behind the bar is outgoing & friendly. Food was great 1st night, but a little inconsistent, ordered the same dish 3 times, each time is slightly different. But I do not go for food, just an atmosphere of a pub and London Pride. Definitely recommend The Crown.

Just a boozer. Went here today, it's certainly no gastro pub, but the staff are nice. Beer garden at the rear is suitable for extra seating. Lots of the tables sticky with old beer spillage, could do with a clean, but like I say, is just a boozer, so standard customers probably not that fussed. The childrens menu here is really well priced and the food was actually very good.

Visited for lunch on Saturday afternoon, but menu was very limited. Burgers were ok, but presentation of food was poor. "Award winning sausages" and mash were not great - not sure what award they had won!

Easily the worst dining experience we have ever had. Took our mum out for her birthday on Sunday for a family meal, booked the crown having been happy in previous years. The service, the food, the atmosphere (only us in the restaurant) all awful. I actually Felt sorry for the staff who were clearly hiding from us! I can’t even begin to describe the food. Attached a photo of the cauliflower cheese 🤢

Fantastic place for food and atmosphere! I’ve been here for about a year and this place is one of the best pub I’ve been to. Great food and amazing selection of food choices. Due to covid-19 the standard of procedure is slightly different, but the food remains delicious and fabulous just the way it used to be! Just remember you have the option to order it at the counter or just download the app to order and pay at your table! I had the prawn and calamari duo for my starter; fantastic artistic presentation, fabulous crisp on both juicy prawn and calamari, complimented with a nicely done lemon mayonnaise sauce on the bottom - makes you crave for more food to come. The beef pie is nothing that I’ve never seen before! A fluffy pie with layers of crispy batter to it, the taste is better than the texture of a croissant. The beef fillings - superb. One word to describe it all. Crumble of the day, classic food to have here! Just the way I like it, not to sweet, and I love the sauce and texture to it. A lot better than what I usually have all the time! Overall great food with excellent presentation, perfect with the atmosphere (sadly a bit less lively due to covid) and the customer service!

I use the Crown regularly usually just for a pint I had their Sunday Roast for lunch. I ordered the Roast Beef which was delicious. I had the Kiddies size portion. I am glad that I did as the portions are massive. I have always found the staff to be so friendly and helpful. Nothing seems too much trouble for them. The Pub also caters for dogs as well as they have a doggy treat menu. I will definitely be going back to the Crown again soon.

Very expensive for what we were served. All done through an app and all came out at very different times and some incorrect. Halloumi fries were a total joke. Expensive and for what, 4 sticks??? Wouldn't go here again.

Nestled in the charming village of Englefield Green, The Barley Mow is a delightful pub that seamlessly blends timeless decor with a modern twist. This casual spot stands out among its namesakes scattered across Surrey, offering an inviting atmosphere perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration. Overlooking the picturesque cricket green on Barley Mow Road, it’s an ideal location to enjoy hearty meals and friendly service.
Sanj was our server tonight. She was was fantastic as was her whole team. They have indoor and outdoor seating, a children’s menu and a wide selection of cocktails and beers on tap. Great for an adult night or family night. We hope to be back. The chicken, meat pie, and fish and chips were great.
David H — Google review
We were so excited to eat here, the menu looked divine. Each of us had an Amaretto Sour before choosing a Chilean red and Camden pale ale. The cocktail was fantastic. I’m normally dubious about cocktails in pubs but this was delicious. We shared the Guinea Fowl pastry to start, and had the steak and ale pie and Pheasant for mains. Presentation was great, unfortunately all the dishes were missing flavour. Maybe the chef was having an off day as family had raved about the food. We finished with a few Negronis, which were also excellent. We were still peckish so enjoyed a few packs of pork scratchings. It’s a lovely pub and I would definitely come back to enjoy the ambiance and drinks.
Genevieve S — Google review
We visited The Barley Mow near Windsor today, hoping to enjoy a casual bite to eat. From the outside, the pub looked charming and inviting – a classic country-style pub that caught our attention from the road. Given the positive online reviews, we expected a good experience. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. To start with, the staff were friendly and professional, which we appreciated. However, the quality of the food was quite average and seriously overpriced. A standard burger cost almost £17, and we had to pay an extra £1.50 just to add cheese – making it more than £18 for a very ordinary burger . The burger didn’t feel freshly cooked, more like pre-prepared, and the portion size was underwhelming for the price. The fries were chunky but overcooked and greasy, and the portion was small — served in one of those tiny metal buckets that look better than they perform. To make things worse, even a simple soft drink (a lime soda) cost nearly £3, which is excessive compared to most pubs we’ve visited across the UK, where this would usually be around £0.5–£2. The atmosphere was also quite mixed. While the pub’s exterior gives off a quaint, country vibe, inside it felt more like a random dining space without much character. The overall vibe wasn’t particularly welcoming — a mix of locals and people constantly coming in and out to smoke, which was quite unpleasant while trying to enjoy a meal, especially when smoke drifted in every time the door opened. In short, we wouldn’t recommend The Barley Mow. It may look like a charming stop from the outside, but the food, pricing, and experience don’t match the expectations or the reviews. There are plenty of better-value pubs with much better food and atmosphere nearby – this one was a letdown.

It’s my favourite place to dine out. I will celebrate any excuse, achievement or holiday just to come here and enjoy the delicious food and service. The staff are so friendly and always welcoming. The food is brilliant, the menu changes seasonally which shows the efforts they put into it along with really great ingredients at such a reasonable price. I recommend this place to anyone and everyone. It’s a must!

Lovely meal and great service. We booked this as we had been gifted a virgin experience. The manager Elias explained how everything worked clearly when we arrived. Food was lovely. Sanjana our waitress was really goods. The service we received here was fantastic.

First time visit as a couple, made to feel very welcome, really good atmosphere, fantastic Sunday roast, lovely bottle of red wine, couple of beers £100 well spent inc service, talking of service.. the staff from the moment we walked in to when we left, second to no one, brilliant, attentive, not intrusive and all wearing a huge smile. Well done all
Richard S — Google review
Our experience at the Barley Mow was excellent. We had the chicken supreme and the fillet steak and they were both amazing! Special mention to Sanj, who made this all happen. She truly was a great waitress and made sure we were very well looked after! ☺️☺️
India W — Google review
Service was impeccable, the food was glorious, much much more than traditional pub grub, although they do have special offers - a burger and pint for £20, which had fancy toppings and looked tasty. The menu selection is just right and changes seasonally, everything we ate was cooked to perfection, kooked fabulous and was delicious. Portion sizes are good too, a real gem of a place!

Italian restaurant
Pizza restaurant
Villa Rosa is a traditional Italian restaurant located in Egham, offering a tantalizing menu of pasta, pizza, and special meat and fish dishes. Whether you're dining in or getting takeaway, the restaurant provides delicious vegan options alongside classic Italian dishes like risotto with mixed vegetables and mushrooms or mushroom tagliatelle with garlic, wine, and cherry tomato sauce. The welcoming staff ensures a warm reception for both small groups and larger bookings, accommodating dietary requirements with efficiency.
Fantastic restaurant. Great service & atmosphere. Food was delicious, but went cold immediately due to cold plates. There was at least 3 big Christmas parties aswell our birthday party. Will visit again though.

Lovely meal here last night and the staff were delightful. Down on business and dining on my own, simple bruschetta which was tasty, nutty and subtle then tagliatelle ragu which was a great sized portion and again lovely flavours. Looked after like a king, I’ll be back.

The best Italian food in town. My second visit and it was just as good as the first time. The restaurant was packed, and the atmosphere was buzzing. The food is delicious and the portion sizes are very generous. There is plenty to choose from and my vegetarian friend had many options too. The drinks selection is good and the lemoncello shot at the end is a bonus! Will definitely come back here.

Italian family run restaurant with a touch of excellent hospitality. Food is delicious, cozy ambiance and great value for money. Highly recommended

We stopped here for a lovely dinner as we were on an evening walk, the place looked so good from the outside. The staff are very friendly and we were able to order quite quickly. They had nice wine on offer for reasonable price and we ended up going through two I would say the highlight of the meal was the pizza as it was cooked in an authentic oven

the food arrived quickly and was very tasty. would recommend if your in egham. my favs were the calamari and seafood spaghetti.

Food & service very good. A very quiet easy place to enjoy a meal. There were children, but they were very well behaved, so no additional noise or tantrums as can be the case. All in all an enjoyable experience.
Désirée G — Google review
Helpful and friendly staff but very disappointed by the food: My main dish (a pasta dish) was very bland! Zero pleasure in eating it! And when I saw that they had cheesecake - of yes that famous Italian cake ! - as part of their dessert selection that was another red flag. Overall I felt it was overpriced for the quality and decor felt very dated. I won't be rushing back!

Thai restaurant
Located on the High Street in Egham, Eat Thai Restaurant offers a mix of classic royal recipes and modern dishes. The intimate venue features some outdoor seating, making it a great spot for lunch or dinner. The menu is extensive, offering options like vegetable spring rolls with sweet chili sauce and sweetcorn cakes. Despite the potential wait for food to arrive, visitors have found the flavorful dishes to be worth it.
I visited during lunchtime and loved their amazing £7.95 lunch set, which includes a starter and main. We had prawn spring rolls with Pad Thai prawns and dumplings with beef Panang curry—all delicious! The service was friendly and efficient. Highly recommend if you’re in Egham! ⭐️⭐️⭐️

First night in Egham so we headed to the local Thai restaurant and we weren't disappointed. Panang curry and red duck curry with coconut rice was excellent.

I recently visited EatThai with my family on a Saturday night, and it was a pleasant surprise. Despite expecting it to be busy, the restaurant was relatively quiet. The food was very tasty, and the service was good. The menu was extensive, which made it a bit challenging to choose, so we had to ask for recommendations. Overall, it was a nice experience, and we enjoyed our meal.
Psitolpj31 — Google review
The lady who served us was absolutely lovely, and the food was really good – highly recommend!
Sara I — Google review
The restaurant look is very nice and tidy, tables look upscale as well the second you enter. Two course meat we tried was abound 8 pounds each plus some drinks. To my surprise both dishes were served on one plate leaving me a bit confused as I was expecting something else afterwards, but that's probably me not knowing Thai dish names. Overall I was a good visit and I'll consider returning for sure. The staff was very kind as well.

Wedding venue
Great Fosters Hotel, part of The Alexander Hotel Collection, is a luxurious hotel that offers a blend of period and contemporary rooms, fine dining experiences, historic gardens, and a pool. The Tudor estate in Egham boasts stunning heritage architecture with intricate brickwork and diamond-patterned mullion windows.
I had the absolute joy of photographing a wedding at Great Foster's in September 2025 and it was such a wonderful experience. The venue itself is stunning - offering so many opportunities for beautiful wedding photos. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful to both myself, other wedding suppliers and the guests, and this makes such a difference when choosing / working at a wedding venue. The beauty and atmosphere of this venue really helped me to create wedding photos that encapsulated the feel of the occasion and I cannot wait to photograph another wedding here again soon. Highly recommended.
Ross P — Google review
We recently enjoyed a two-night stay at Great Fosters and were truly impressed by many aspects of the property. The grounds are absolutely stunning—lush, peaceful, and meticulously maintained—offering an idyllic setting for a countryside escape. Dining was another standout, particularly the exceptional tasting menu at Tudor Pass, which was creative, beautifully executed, and a true highlight of our visit. The charming cocktail bar, with its cozy ambiance and expertly crafted drinks, added a lovely touch to our arrival. Our room (45) was thoughtfully designed and comfortable, but its location left much to be desired. It was situated quite close to the main road, and on both nights, we were disturbed by what sounded like garbage collection just outside our door. There were also a few maintenance issues, including visible spiders in the upper corners of the room and a noticeable gap in the door that allowed in both noise and light—elements that detracted from the overall sense of luxury and restful sleep. One important recommendation for future guests: be sure to ask if any weddings are scheduled during your stay. During our visit, two weddings were taking place, which unfortunately meant we were unable to book any spa appointments. The cocktail was also overrun with wedding guests on our first evening, which diminished the overall guest experience in my opinion. These issues, while relatively minor are the reason we can’t quite give our stay a full five stars. That said, with a few adjustments, Great Fosters has the potential to be a true 5 star retreat.
Carolyn A — Google review
I didn’t stay in the rooms so just marked 4*. I went for a pool day today and I was really disappointed at the standards for a 5* hotel. I want to start by saying the staff are lovely and the lady managing the spa/pool area did offer for us to come back but I want to leave a review so the hotel are aware of guests experience. Although you get lunch with the pool day included (and a very small glass of champagne), it’s still expensive for the standard. The hotel is lovely, (from what I saw) but it’s very obviously quite run down. I’ve stayed with this hotel group before at Alexander house so I was quite surprised at the difference. We didn’t get very lucky with the weather unfortunately. I’d have loved to hop in the hot tub and enjoyed the day anyway but the water was cold, only 2 of the jets worked and it was generally just really worn down and a bit rotten. To be fair, they had maintenance on it right away but it was out of action the entire day. I know this is a listed building so the hotel is limited to changes but they can certainly keep the pool area & facilities to a 5* standard. Towels were the exact same as the towels I had in hospital. Very thin and rough. The loungers and table were very dated and old/worn down although comfortable. I couldn’t really get any nice photos because it just looked a bit like I was at a 2* in Benidorm. (I know, first world problems)! We had only one ladies toilet with barely any light and many changing cubicles but no proper facilities for changing/showering. The hair dryer, outside showers and hot tap didn’t work. Last criticism I promise..! The pool menu needs to be a little more extensive or cater for vegetarians. They made me a nice sandwich in the end which was good of them but we had 2 salads both fish & meat, all meat sandwiches so this just left a margarita pizza for my options. This place could be so nice with a few small changes and refurbishments because the staff and grounds are great! It’s small things like this that stop people coming back. To make this 5*, replace the towels, pool furniture, spruce up the pool area, changing/toilet and a new hot tub. Also on a hot day, a bit of background music and some vibes wouldn’t go amiss!
Jayde L — Google review
The most wonderful undiscovered secret near Heathrow. The food and accommodation are both excellent. The grounds are amazing! It is a ritual of mine to wander them on every visit. Been staying there for 34 years! If travelling alone, I recommend the Talavera room #12. No large. Cozy, split level and a great place to be on an autumn or winter night.
Brendan C — Google review
Afternoon tea was an experience not to be missed if you are in the area. Selection of finger sandwiches, scones and desert bites were beyond description. Service was excellent from all staff, friendly and polite. We added the champagne option and was so worth it. Earl Grey tea and orange blossom tea accompanied our experience. Highly recommend Great Foster's for Afternoon Tea if you want the full experience
Andrew R — Google review
The Afternoon Tea was wonderful, we celebrated my husbands birthday and Eunice made us feel so special and welcomed. It was such a good experience that we decided to go back again the following weekend. Loved the hospitality and how they decorated the reception for the season, I can’t wait to go back again and again

An outstanding stay with great attention to detail from check-in through to pool, dinner, and then breakfast the next morning. Staff were all polite, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Facilities and gardens were all really well kept and food menu was varied and interesting and high quality (and reasonably priced).

Leftbank Restaurant at the Runnymede Hotel is a delightful dining destination that perfectly blends family-friendly vibes with an elegant atmosphere, making it ideal for special occasions. With its stunning views of the Thames and an open kitchen, guests can enjoy a unique buffet experience featuring British cuisine infused with global flavors. The extensive menu caters to all tastes, including plenty of vegetarian and vegan options.
Gorgeous buffet style restaurant, but not your average buffet! There is so much choice of starters, soup, pasta sltation, noodles station, mains buffet with 3 or 4 coices including fish and vege options. The dessert table is to die for though, wear elasticated waist!! Have a stroll along the Thames after dinner to get your digestion working! Rexommend for fussy eaters and special occassions. Book well in advance!

The food was great. Starter, main and desert buffet. Lots of choice, very healthy selection. We went for the unlimited prosecco offer with the buffet. It's supposed to be unlimited for 90 mins but they really stop offering it to you after an hour. Clientele is different. Either retired or groups or women on a Saturday afternoon. We were unfortunate to have been placed next to a really loud group of women who really gave me a headache and ruined my experience. I did complain to two waiters but they neither offered us another table or asked the women to tone down. I was pretty disappointed and am not sure I'd go back again.
K ( — Google review
We have been regulars of Leftbank and visited in multiple occasions both for their Sunday roast and dinner on Saturdays and it’s always been great. They are closing the restaurant today for renovations so we thought we would go dine yesterday before it closes for a period. We were really disappointed with the food this time. Was not as varied as usual but that is a minor inconvenient, the problem was most of the food was lukewarm and clearly made a while ago and sat there. Everything we ate was dry and reheated. The meat, the roasted potatoes… really a shame. We loved the place but if this is the new standard then we sadly won’t be coming back
Reme M — Google review
4.5 star. We ate in the Leftbank as part of a spa weekend. The buffet dinner was included in our spa break, but not drinks. That's fine as that's what we expected. A service charge of around 12.5% is added to the bill at the end for every time you are at the Leftbank restaurant or in the lounge. The buffet is not how I have experienced a buffet before, it's how I would describe a "posh buffet". The waiters will serve drinks to your table and are very quick at clearing away your dirty plates and glasses. A place is set at your table along with cutlery and a serviette before you arrive at your table. The waiters will also happily bring you any extra cutlery you want and are very attentive. Was a good experience with plenty of choice for different foods at a high quality on offer. With the chef located behind the main dishes area on hand to answer any questions you may have. The extra touch of a birthday dessert plate was nice as well for my Husbands Birthday. On arrival to the Leftbank restaurant for breakfast we were given the option to eat in another restaurant that they had set aside for adults staying at the hotel without children, which was a nice option for a quieter breakfast. The staff at breakfast were friendly and attentive. The food was ok, nothing spectacular to say.
Ruth G — Google review
Firstly my expectation of this place was high due to the reviews about the buffet style Sunday Roast. My partner and I made the 100 mile round trip specifically to experience what everyone else had. I have to say that the selection and the food did not disappoint, nor did the dessert section. However, the lack of service and the overall atmosphere was where the restaurant lost me. My partner and I went up multiple times to try different sections so each time we finished a plate, we left it on the side of the table for it to be collected but at one point we had 6 plates on the table not being taken away. The staff were clearly not too busy as there was about 3 in the restaurant alone and around 5-6 tables of people. There was also hardly any atmosphere as the dining area was quiet and no music or background sounds. We understand not everywhere can play music but the result was a very flat feeling dining experience. The one bit that really got us was when my partner kindly asked if we could get a takeaway box as she had a few bits leftover on her plate and didn’t want it to go to waste. We asked a member of staff who said he needed to check with his manager, the manager came over and told us that they didn't have, “Any appropriate containers for our food”. We asked if there was anything else that could possibly be used and she said no. We were very surprised as we’d had afternoon tea there about 2 weeks prior. I also noted that the words used were “appropriate containers”. At the end, when paying the bill I asked the member of staff and was told that, “Actually we have foil but we were told that it doesn’t look good to give people foil”. The fact that we were not even offered the foil seems a bit like cutting corners at the expense of their guests - it might not have looked fantastic but it would have saved a lot of food being thrown away for no reason and it would have meant we could have enjoyed the food that we paid for at another time when we didn’t have a 50 mile journey ahead of us. Out of principle I should have taken off the service charge but I think I was still in shock when I was paying. We won’t be returning as this really left a bad taste in our mouth, given that it was £45pp with service charge and the experience really wasn’t worth the drive or the price in my opinion.
Talib J — Google review
The food was amazing, the atmosphere was lovely and the service was great. I will definitely be returning back here.
Rick J — Google review
I have been coming here for years. The starters and desserts selection are great and incredibly delicious. The Sunday roasts are just OK for me now. When you have to argue with the "chef" that you want it rear, and he says that's all he has (well done, not even medium), when you can see in the back, 10 more roast pieces, you wonder. Attitude for him was more important than service. The service otherwise is great. Except for that "younger chef"...
Claudio S — Google review
The buffet is only for hotel guests. Some reviewers seemed to have traveled for said buffet, so we were under the impression it was open for everyone . We were offered a limited option menu and a seat outside the restaurant. We could have remained at Great Fosters where we were staying. The staff were very nonchalant. So underwhelmed.

I celebrated my 50th birthday with a party recently in the upstairs function room. The food was incredible, the staff were amazing, serving us throughout the evening and went out of their way to cater to our every need. Thank you so much for making it such a special evening and a special mention to Saira for her preparation beforehand and on the evening, Helen

A great little cafe. We had a lovely breakfast, the atmosphere was good and the staff are lovely. I would have liked to come back for some cocktails and dinner.

Not a bad little place for breakfast. The coffee was great, and food very good, although not fantastic value for money, and extra sausage wouldn't have gone a miss. Nice touch with the little pastries served with the coffee though. Recommended.

We used the function room at bar 163 and it was absolutely outstanding. We had a three course meal for 20 guests and a buffet in the evening and the food was fantastic. Tasty, filling and presented so well. The staff were brilliant especially Abi who communicated with me back and forth for three months to get the day how I wanted it. There is no charge to hire the hall and I would recommend the function room to anyone who would like a party etc there.

Wow! Was so pleasantly surprised! My wife and I won a voucher in a charity raffle for an evening meal at 163 restaurant, we’re not from Egham so we didn’t really know what to expect but it was great! Food and service were top notch. The chilli and garlic prawns starter was the best I’ve had outside of Spain! The Lamb Casserole was also very tasty. I 100% recommend you check this place out. We’ll be back!

I had the pleasure to celebrate my 50th birthday at the Venue BAR 163, and I wouldn’t have had it any other way . From the beginning to the end of the organisation, Gilles the owner has been absolutely amazing . Always happy to help and met all my needs and requirements to the letter and even more . The team at BAR 163 is amazing , professional and friendly . The standards are outstanding and the customer service provided is above and beyond my expectations , flawless and highly recommended. The waitress in charge of the party , SORIA , was extremely helpful, dedicated and professional. LIZZY AND the rest of the Team , we’re also outstanding. I would like to express my deepest gratitude and appreciation for your amazing work and for making my birthday the best ever party of my life . This little gem in Egham is to be visited, not only for its quirky building, but the amazing food and products selections , from fresh home made bread to a cellar selection from Belgium beers to a variety of wines and spirits . The buffet catered for the event was outstanding and entirely bespoke , delicious and very very generous in portion . the canapes served for the welcome drinks were very pretty delicious and so impressive . The dessert was also very good . Honestly , well done to all , and huge thank you to Gilles . I cannot wait to return again and again and probably for a very long time. kindest Regards , julien Mackenzie Rapin

Booked based off reviews to meet some family members who were collecting someone from Heathrow. We had brunch, all the food and coffee was excellent and really reasonably priced under £20 a head for breakfast and 2x drinks each. Service was super helpful but not intrusive at all. We would visit again even with it being 30+ minute drive, highly recommend

Earlier tonight my friends and I attended a party at bar 163. The building and ambience is really very cosy. Unfortunately the food came slow to us, it was tasty don't get me wrong, but sadly slow. Especially for the mains. Most of us got our food sharpish but the lamb koftas were slow as were some other meals. I feel bad for our poor server running his little head off trying to make sure everyone was happy and checking in to see how we were all doing, its clear they care but simply don't have the staff!!!

Pizza restaurant
Nestled along the picturesque Runnymede riverside, Italian Concept Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone who adores authentic Neapolitan cuisine. This charming family-run eatery on Windsor Road boasts an inviting atmosphere where the delightful aroma of garlic and wood-fired pizzas fills the air. Diners rave about their light and delicious pizzas, alongside a tempting selection of seafood dishes like octopus, prawns, and squid.
Food was absolutely amazing. I’m used to Italian restaurants in my own country (Netherlands) but this one was just simply amazing. It’s super cosy as soon as you step inside and the smell is great itself too. It feels like walking into a kitchen from a wonderful family, definitely feels like home. Everyone is so helpful and you can literally ask for anything and they’ll help you with it. It’s unfortunate I don’t have a restaurant like this with the same pizza’s over here. However if I am able to come back to this place, I definitely will. It’s such an experience itself!

This is the best pizza I’ve had outside of Italy, America and Japan. We shared the bruschetta, so fresh, the sour tomatoes paired well with the smoothness of the stracciatella and crunchiness of the bread. We had a Diavola each. The crust and base were perfection, just the right amount of chorizo and flavoursome mozzarella. The latte was lukewarm, if that. That was disappointing after such a great meal. Service was very friendly and quick. Decor has a lot to be desired, very bright and hideous designs on the wall. Table and chairs are basic. Pop music playing in the background was a bit odd. Very reasonably priced. I wouldn’t go here for a romantic date but will definitely return for the food and highly recommend.

First time and very pleased with the food and atmosphere. We went for a nice walk along the river and stopped for lunch. It was a really nice sunny day so book in advance as it gets really busy. We both had the Linguini allo scoglio (seafood Linguini) and it was just perfect...almost felt like being by the sea in Italy. Staff all helpful and nice location. Next time 🍕

Good authentic pizzas, nice ambience but a little pricey for the non basic pizzas, came to £18 for a pizza with one extra topping. Fresh taste, good ingredients and nice service.

As a fellow American living in the UK, I’ve found that food here can sometimes lean a bit bland—but this Italian restaurant is the exact opposite. The flavors here are incredible! True Italian pizza and pasta made with so much care. The bolognese is absolutely incredible and the wine is smooth and pairs perfectly with the dishes. The owners are warm and welcoming, even coming around to chat with you, which really adds to the experience. The atmosphere is calming and relaxing—perfect for a night out. Highly, highly recommend if you’re craving authentic Italian with real flavor.

Great service and a wide variety of dishes to choose from. Very attentive service whilst dining. Pizza dishes looked amazing, and the linguine also that our table ordered. Slightly disappointed with the aubergine dish, a little bland. It was my husband’s birthday but I don’t think the request went through as nothing came was said. Overall though , a lovely experience.

The Red Lion is a delightful pub that has been serving traditional English cuisine, beverages, and spirits since 1521. It offers a cozy atmosphere with outdoor seating and the added bonus of TV sports for entertainment. The food is exceptional, particularly their renowned Sunday roast which is highly recommended by many patrons. The staff are known to be extremely friendly, although some may find them overly so.
Went here on a Sunday for mothers day, we were located at the back where there was this nice big open space for venues, this area of the pub wasn't busy or over crowded, which was perfect as there was a big group of us. The staff were very attentive, we were never left needing them as they kept popping over to see to us. The food was outstanding, delicious, came out quickly and displayed beautifully when served. My auntie is a big fan of this pub and always comes here, I will certainly be coming back to try different dishes for sure! Thank you for being so patient with us considering there was quite a few of us 🫶🏼

The team and the venue is exceptional. We used the Red Lion’s function room for my mother in laws 60th birthday party earlier this month and we couldn’t fault a thing! It was perfect. Krzysztof & his team were fantastic at answering my many questions in the run up to the event, and nothing was too much hassle! Everyone commented on how tasty the food was & how much of it there was.. It was fresh & plentiful all night long (we even got to enjoy leftovers the next day!). The atmosphere was fantastic- the disco lights, speakers & private bar made it all the more special. As an event organiser myself, I will definitely be recommending the venue to clients & will be using the venue myself again! Thank you all for making the night so special. Abi & Louis

Held a private function and hired out the hall out the back. Connor was very attentive and helpful in both helping organise and set up. Called in with friends after a hard day watching the England women's rugby team win the world cup. Long day, quite weary, and very hungry. It was 8ish and the kitchen due to close at 9. Ushered in and shown to a table. Really friendly staff. Helpful. Quickly finished with drinks (the beer was excellent). And given time to sort our food order. The food was really tasty, well presented and just what we needed. Arrived promptly. We shall eat there again when in the area. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Beautiful food! Third visit here and thought I should write a review on the outstanding food, service and value. Lovely authentic Italian menu, recommend the cheesy garlic bread, lasagne is out of this world, fettuccine funghi, steak fillet, carbonara and the calzone...must try the pizza, looks amazing! Desserts are lovely too, recommend the lemon cheesecake and tiramisu! Service is very efficient, this visit, we were served by Gent, who went out of his way to make our visit memorable, though every visit the staff have been friendly, helpful and knowledgeable with the menu! Definitely recommend this restaurant for small groups and large groups, they will cater for all. I have always booked, but if only a small group, I think they would try to accommodate you! There are tables outside too which is lovely when we are enjoying nice weather!

Last minute treat having seen our daughter off to first year at University. Extremely happy at the choice. Old school attentive waiters, not pushy. Food simply well done and very tasty. Heartily recommended and we'll definitely be back next time we visit

I was really disappointed with my visit. The pasta was not tasty at all, and the overall quality of the food did not meet expectations. Another very unpleasant thing was that when people went out for a smoke, they did it right next to the outdoor tables, which completely ruined the atmosphere — it was uncomfortable and unhygienic to sit and eat while surrounded by cigarette smoke. Overall, I did not enjoy the experience and wouldn’t recommend this place for dining. The only positive note was the waiter, who was quite interesting and attentive, but unfortunately that alone is not enough to make me come back

For context we came on a notoriously busy night and booked a table with little notice to the restaurant. Food is absolutely phenomenal to start with, although the staff were busy they were polite and ensured we had our needs met. They followed up on requests and apologized for delays ( do remember we booked a table on a notoriously busy night ). On top of all of this they are reasonably priced and we were offered a round of drinks due to some delays. Could not recommend more if you fancy yourself a Tandoori.

Really disappointed with takeaway. Ordered a vindaloo and a garlic chicken dish, both tasted like tomato sauce, completely bland no depth or flavour.

Salad was in a bag and must have been pre prepared many hours / days prior and not checked before sending it. Lettuce was 'brown'... ...we also asked for x1 papadom and got 2 and was charged for x2. Also the samosa in the mixed grill was saturated in oil and all soggy after being sat together with meat.

Nestled at the entrance of the expansive Windsor Great Park, The Bailiwick in Egham is a charming dining pub and snug bar that exudes warmth and character. Housed in a former Victorian shop adorned with vintage mirror ceilings, this husband-and-wife-run establishment is perfect for unwinding after a scenic stroll through the park. With its Michelin-recommended status, The Bailiwick embraces an ethos of seasonal dining by sourcing fresh local produce from nearby suppliers, including the park's gamekeeper.
It’s not possible to reward this pub with less than 5 stars. The food was at a superior level and the same was the service. The first great Sunday roast I have had in years of long research. The starters were a terrific surprise of flavours and originality. The desserts a great finale for an experience that we’ll replicate soon. The staff made the whole experience pleasant and impeccable very rare to find in this contexts. The only disappointment were the many cars parked outside that transformed the outside view more like a parking than a countryside landscape.
Andrea C — Google review
We've had Sunday lunch here a few times, always impressed. A weekday lunch this time, so we ate a la carte rather than the standard roasts. Stunning presentation and flavours. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Probably not a great menu if you don't eat meat, but we we ate rabbit, pork, beef and deer and they were excellent. The game charcuterie board was a standout but it's all great. NB there's virtually no parking here, we always park in the south car park and enjoy the 90 minute walk all the way around Virginia Water.

The food I had here this afternoon took my breath away. Service was exceptional and I can't wait to get back again soon! Enjoyed a prawn cocktail and a pumpkin spice parfait. An amazing experience for me and my friends. We booked The Bailiwick for a Monday night meal with friends and I cannot recommend it enough. The service was personal, friendly and down to earth - we had great conversations with all of the staff that served us and really enjoyed learning about the food we were eating. The venue is cosy, warm and the lighting helps to create a very chilled out vibe as well. We sat in the Snug area which was lovely. I imagine parking is a challenge at the weekend, but we came on a Monday night and there was plenty available. The food was phenomenal as well - the little details like the hot, fresh bread served with an amazing compound butter and game stock, as well as homemade chocolate to finish were fantastic! That's not to mention the stars of the show, the food we ordered. The menu is exciting and features a wide variety of choices — we went for the deer for main which was phenomenal. The addition of the (probably butchering what this was, sorry) bacon sauce to go with it was fantastic! Plus, that hotpot was out of this world! It doesn't look like a lot from the look of the plates, but it felt like I'd never eat again by the time I left - you won't be hungry afterwards. I had the soup and rarebit for starter - what a brilliant idea to serve it with rarebit! Divine. Plus the knickerbocker glory for dessert - a proper treat, the ice cream was delicious. I cannot recommend The Bailiwick enough if you're looking for something exciting and different. Yes, it was a little more expensive than what I'd normally go for, but considering the quality of the food and the service I think it's well worth the price we paid. Another plus - we were getting a little nervous about how eagerly our sparkling water was being replaced as we thought we'd need to pay for it — not the case! You pay one price (£2 per person) and get unlimited sparkling water with your meal. Restaurants like this could easily get away with charging upwards of £6 for 750ml of sparkling water, so I was really pleasantly surprised when I saw the bill! I look forward to coming back here as soon as I can.

Food was amazing!! It’s a classic upper class country pub located in a beautiful area. They do have a Michelin star which highlight the quality of food, the service and the chefs of course. Because of this, prices are more expensive vs a normal pub however it’s 100% worth it! They offer a 2 course menu for £50 and a 3 course for £60! Highly recommend!!

The Bailiwick Freehouse This was an incredible way to truly get underway my dining year of 2025. We’ve visited the Bailiwick quite a few times now but this visit will definitely stand out. On saturday evening enjoyed a fantastic Game Tasting Menu of 7 courses which priced at only £80 was amazing value for money. We started the evening with a cocktail at the bar where we enjoyed a nice chat with owners Steven and Ami before taking our seats at the table. We chose a bottle of Lalande de Pomerol La Menotte 2022 that paired perfectly with every course. The menu started with a fabulous selection of Charcuterie and Snacks including Rabbit Chorizo , Pigeon Salami , Rabbit Rilette with Cheese Sable and a heavenly Pigeon Sausage Roll along with a game consommé. This was followed by the Parker House Roll with a Game Bird Liver Parfait , sage and onion butter. Next to come was an excellent Game Terrine , Stuffed Pheasant Leg and Woodcock which was accompanied by an Offal Cottage Pie. Each dish was cooked to absolute perfection and the flavour was stunning. This led us to dessert where first we enjoyed a Rhubarb and Custard pre dessert before the main desserts of an absolutely delicious Tiramisu and a Coconut Rice Pudding Tartlet. We finished with a coffee and sticky toffee doughnuts before being joined for another chat with Steven and Ami. This gave us a chance to personally thank them and the team for an amazing evening from not only the team in the kitchen but the front of house which was led superbly by Lewis. I would highly recommend a visit to the Bailiwick which is set on one of entrances to the Windsor Great Park. The food is amazing and you will be well looked after by the team. Thank You Steven and Ami for a wonderful dining experience and look forward to seeing you all again soon.

Random pick late Sunday afternoon. Made to feel welcome straight-away and my little Luna-Mae, treated like a welcome princess. Got a big bowl of fresh water and no one battered an eye, when she sat on the bench. We had wraps and a side of chips. Fresh and tasty. If we're in the area again, would pop in again. Note the road is one-way, the church parking lot is by parking disc only. We did find parking just around the corner. Was worth the parking hassle. A proper local.

Great service! The waitress who took my order was attentive and took her time explaining the menu, especially when I asked about halal options. I ended up choosing item 11, which came with delicious halal beef sausages. The two eggs were perfectly cooked, and the yolk had a great flavor. The latte came in a large cup and was included with the meal. My friend had a baguette. I felt totally stuffed afterward! Two different waiters also came by to check if everything was good, which we appreciated. We spoke with the owner as well, who was lovely i dont understand all the previous bad reviews . The place was full of families, and we chose to sit outside since the weather was nice.

The friendly and attentive staff create a welcoming atmosphere, making it a perfect place to grab a bite with friends or family. The only drawback to Golden Cafe is their cash-only policy, which can be a slight inconvenience for customers. Polow Restaurant in Egham offers exceptional cuisine that is both expertly prepared and beautifully presented. Every bite is a delightful experience, with dishes such as the Mirza Ghasemi, a flavorful blend of grilled aubergine, fried onion, garlic, and chopped tomato. The traditional Persian Naan bread perfectly complements this appetizer.
Went there for my birthday having been recommended the place by a friend. Being of the same heritage, I’m a bit of a Persian food connoisseur. Let me state emphatically that the 4.8 star rating isn’t overrated. This is a 5 star experience in terms of the food and service. I will highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience excellent Persian food and warm hospitality. Keep up the good work.

Food is a solid 9.5/10, it is well presented, absolutely delicious and is very authentically Persian taste. The meats are juicy, tender and very flavourful. The rice is soft and fragrant. Some dishes are served with butter which makes the whole experience enhanced even further. We also tried the Faludeh, which was super refreshing dessert for the summers, very interesting rose flavour and goes amazingly well with the fresh lemon served. Service was warm and attentive. Atmosphere and ambience is beautiful.

Wow! Always wanted to have a Persian meal and weren’t we lucky to have been recommended here! Amazing decor from originally a butchers shop in the 19th century! Jug of water on the table as you get the menus. Lovely, calm, polite service throughout the meal, with great help and suggestions. We had a cold mixed meze to start with lovely fresh bread. Stunning main meals. Persian ice cream and the best fresh mint I have ever had. All of this set in a lovely atmosphere…..can’t praise here enough!

I had an amazing experience. The hospitality was incredible, the ambience inviting and a great service. I got recommendations on the menu for someone who is not that hungry but wants to enjoy dessert. I had the traditional Persian tea with the crystalized saffron sugar, kashk-e-bademjan (albergine appetizer), mini kebab koobideh, faloodeh (the frozen starch noodles) and akbar mashti (saffron ice cream)!

This is my fourth vist to this restarunt. And once again had a fantastic meal. I highly recommend coming here. The chicken is amazing and the hallumo is amazing

Stunning interior design, outside area is amazing on a sunny day. Incredibly friendly staff and just absolutely delicious food. I always order kebab koobideh, kashk-e bademjan and chai nabat. My favourite restaurant ever.

We were recommended Polow by fellow Persians 🇮🇷 and couldn’t wait to try it. Since we were too excited to wait for a visit, we ordered delivery instead 🚗💨 — and it did not disappoint! The food arrived on time ⏰, warm 🔥, fresh 🥗, and full of flavour 😋. Portions were generous 🍽️, and both the koobideh kebab and chicken shish were cooked to perfection 👌. The barg (lamb fillet) was a bit lighter in colour and slightly less juicy, but still tasted great 👍. We’re really looking forward to experiencing the full atmosphere at the restaurant soon! 🍽️✨

My family dined here this evening for the first time. Absolutely delicious food. The olives, bread (both garlic and naan), homemade rose lemonade, chicken & minced lamb kebab, yogurt, saffron rice and grilled tomatoes were all excellent. Generous portions. Friendly, helpful owner/staff. Delightful experience. Opening hours are terrific. Grateful to have cuisine like this available nearby.

Magic Wok Chinese Restaurant in Egham offers a delightful dining experience with an ambiance that showcases Chinese art on its white walls and a latticed ceiling. The eatery serves delectable Beijing and Sichuan dishes, attracting customers with its authentic flavors. Guests can enjoy their Ice Lemon Tea, reminiscent of Swiss Migros Iced Tea. While the shrimp fried rice could benefit from additional seasoning to suit individual preferences, the duck dish is superbly prepared.
Wonderful restaurant I really do not understand the negative reviews, my boyfriend and I ordered an array of different dishes and none of them were cold, oily or tasted as if they came out the freezer! The staff were very kind, they did not take long handing out our food and even gave us a plate of food free of charge which was wonderful, would come back here again!
Majka V — Google review
I’ve eaten at Magic Chef Chinese Restaurant in Egham six times now, as I run a business nearby and it’s become our go-to spot for both client lunches and my own quick work meals. Each visit, whether eating in as a group or grabbing something alone, has been consistently excellent—Magic Chef is one of those rare places where the food really stands out every single time. The quality of the food here is simply outstanding. Every dish I’ve tried has been delicious, always cooked perfectly and packed with authentic flavour. You can tell a lot of care goes into the cooking: the special fried rice is a standout, and dishes like Szechuan noodles show real attention to traditional Chinese recipes. There are some unique menu options you don’t find just anywhere, and it’s always exciting to discover something new—but what’s most impressive is that in all my visits, we have never had a bad meal. Service at Magic Chef is also great. The staff are genuinely friendly and welcoming, which has made it easy to host business guests and also means you feel comfortable coming by yourself. Orders come out promptly, and if you’re a regular you can sense an extra level of attention. While pricing can be on the higher side, it feels completely justified given the consistently high quality of the food and the overall dining experience. Perhaps the best thing about Magic Chef is the authenticity and skill in the kitchen: every meal tastes top-quality, fresh, and true to its roots, making it my favourite Chinese restaurant in the area by a long way. It’s a real gem for anyone working or dining in Egham, highly recommended for both business meals and casual visits alike

Food is good. Good size portions. Price is reasonable. The owner could be more cheerful.
Mark B — Google review
The food is okay, but if you are going to get a online delivery from this restaurant, i do not recommend it. They do not have a tracking driver option. Even though i pinpoint my location, the staff really likes to call you a lot just to know where to deliver. I was having work during then, so i can't pick up all the calls (there were 5 calls in total), and I got scolded at and mentioned that I could just pick up all the calls to tell them the location. If you are absolutely free to pick up a call an hour before, then that's fine. But if you only pick up one call when they arrive, really not recommended since they are pretty rude about it too.

Magic Wok is such a fantastic place to eat out in, parking available nearby in Egham High Street (free). Food was great (although slightly expensive but not as much as overpriced) and in great portions, also pretty authentic. Atmosphere was lovely and staff were friendly. Recommend.

Food was very tasty and came out quickly. It was a tad oily, however it is sometimes used to enhance flavours. Would definitely recommend and will be returning.

Fantastic Chinese Restaurant in Egham. First of all, their Ice Lemon Tea is the closest thing to Swiss Migros Iced Tea (if you know, you know!) The shrimp fried rice was fine but needed some additional seasoning for my own taste. Chilli sauce and soy. The Duck was superb. I saw a table across from us having “hot pot” and looked truly delicious. No reservation needed. Staff were very friendly and fast.

Located in the charming town of Egham, Surrey, The Mira Restaurant offers a delightful regional Chinese menu that seamlessly blends refined flavors with traditional cuisine. Guests have praised the restaurant for its exceptional service and high-quality food, comparing it favorably to renowned establishments. The restaurant's fresh and flavorful dishes, particularly seafood, have garnered acclaim. Despite its small size, The Mira provides a comfortable dining experience without overcrowding.
Staff were very friendly, professional & delivered great service. The place was packed but that did not stop the owners being highly attentive to their customers. The house champagne was super. Lovely atmosphere. Fabulous food. The best Chinese food I have ever tasted despite their being no prawn crackers 😂

Fantastic dinner at The Mira. Authentic, deep flavours, top quality with a focused menu. The Sichuan chicken was a good amount of numbing hot - no skimping on the peppercorns and I appreciate that as someone who loves chili! The staff were kind and helpful - giving us pointers for a couple of things off the menu (the greens) - yum! Everyone throughly enjoyed their meal, can’t wait to be back!

Very good authentic Chinese Restaurant. Nice cosy place. Tasty food with friendly service. Need to reserve a table before you go as it is always full. Have few public parking spaces around. The toilets are very clean, compared to other restaurants, I am very pleased about this. Recommend for families

Had a fantastic dinner here. The highlight was without a doubt the duck, perfectly crisp skin and rich, tender meat. Service was just as memorable, with Philip taking great care of us throughout the evening. Even going as far as to offer medical advice for a burn our friend had gotten the day before! :-) Highly recommend this central London quality restaurant found in quaint Egham.

The Cups is a restaurant that offers Korean and Japanese inspired food. Their menu consists of rice, noodles, various tasty toppings, and freshly prepared sushi. Customers can choose between rice or noodles as their base, select their desired toppings and add a sauce before everything is served in a cup for takeout. The Cups is known for its friendly staff and generous portions of hot and fresh food. One popular dish is the chicken katsu which comes with ample amounts of rice, chicken, and sauce.
Obsessed with this place -- FANTASTIC food, lovely and friendly people working here, very reasonable prices. Delicious, food tastes very homely and is just perfect every time! Have had delivered via app, dine in and ordered in person to takeaway -- same fantastic quality every time!

This is the number one choice for me and my partner whenever we want a quick and filling meal! The Chicken Katsu in particular is really amazing, but all is really tasty and affordable! Staff is also very friendly and kind. Servings are remarkable truly giving you your money's worth. I highly recommend this lovely place! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Tried the beef bulgogi -- super tasty and filling; some of the beef was a bit stringy and fatty, but overall lovely and really chill service :)

We tried our first bibimbap here and it was incredibly interesting and delicious! Large portions, good prices, nice and helpful staff, answered all questions. The gentleman helped us compose our bibimbaps and they tasted delicious. The place is small, sometimes there is no place to sit, but they also pack takeaways well. I recommend it to anyone who likes Korean cuisine, and if you haven't tried it, you must

As a student this is my go to for delivery food whenever I have a stressful day or I’m not feeling well. I have also ordered for takeaway and the people are always friendly. The portions are always great, and food always arrives hot and fresh. The chicken katsu comes with plenty of rice, a great amount of chicken and sauce. On the side I like to get kimchi (crunchy and great combo!), and the chicken dumplings which are marinated. Highly recommend to any student in Egham or passers by for a warm and filling lunch/dinner.

For price, quantity and quality of food, and location, cups is hard to beat as a quick spot for lunch. From ordering to eating took less than 5 minutes, the portion was easily enough for a decent lunch, and the teriyaki chicken was delicious. Good flavour on the noodles and chicken, and the meat was nicely tender.

Wow! Absolutely fantastic lounge bistro bar, part of the wonderful Runnymede hotel. A roaring open fire in a slick modern fireplace was absolutely stunning to experience while overlooking the Thames. Service outstanding with the staff smiling and helpful the whole time.

Cool, modern, relaxed bistro. I loved the sour dough bread and the service was generally pretty good although one waiter seemed pretty uninterested in his job. The machiato was not what I was expecting, being served more like an espresso. There is free car parking for guests and the decor is really classy.
Graham C — Google review
Poor service, poor quality, poor prices - review is not based on the hot food, but the brunch /hot drinks. Generally not impressed, and the lounge didn't reflect the quality of the hotel. Matcha latte was not mixed well, the smoothies were not fresh, and the service was non-existent...

Charcoal Grill Egam served me the most miserable meal I've ever had. I ordered a kebab wrap what I got was a soggy, oily disaster with chewy meat and barely any filling. Chips were limp and dripping with grease. Even the can of drink couldn’t save the experience. I left hungry, angry, and disgusted.

"I have noticed a consistent pattern of long wait times for drivers at your location. On multiple occasions, delivery drivers have had to wait 20 to 30 minutes or more after the scheduled pickup time for the order to be ready and more ever you guys are very very reuse to delivery riders and we are not selves and we are humans, i never ever seen this kind of bad attitude person in this country

Very poor customer service skills Asked me if I wanted a any sauces, I said yes and I said 3 sauces which he replied to was 1. He should have said that I can have one. Iworst service and rude people. I went at 11.30 at night today to takeaway food. The man who seemed to be managing, whether he was the owner or the manager, i dont know. He was so rude. I was so pissed off when i went to order the food. He just didnt seem interested. All I said was.. ( you must be tired as it is late and what time do you close?). He gave me a bad grin and said do you want me to smile to 200 people i cook for in a day. I said but it would be nice if you can be bit nive amd it doesnt cost anything. He turned around and said I dont want to serve food to you. I was not rude or drunk or being awkward in any way. I was being polite and friendly. I would never recommend anybody to go to this place. Worst customer service and food cooked with hate. Don’t ever go to this takeaway.

⭐ 1/5 This place should come with a health warning. The meat was cold and tasted off, like it had been reheated multiple times. The wrap was soggy and falling apart, and the salad was clearly not fresh. I felt sick within hours. Honestly, I don’t know how this place is still open. Never again.

The Packhorse, located on Egham Hill, is a popular pub known for its great food and fabulous cocktails. It has a pleasant atmosphere and is frequented by students from Royal Holloway University due to its proximity. The pub is run by students for students, with any surplus being reinvested back into student services. Visitors can enjoy breakfast, pancakes, and watch sports in a nice outdoor seating area. The pub also hosts a popular quiz on Sundays.
The Crown is a student pub as it mainly caters to college students in Egham. Being the college break, it was quite empty when we went. I had called in to check on #gluten-free options, which I was told they had. When we went there, though, there wasn't anything gluten-free other than a pizza, though it was the best Vegan Gluten Free Pizza I had in ages! Frank (I think that was his name) took great care to check every ingredient was #Gluten Free and put on fresh gloves to make it. The drinks and food were reasonably priced, and the pizza was really tasty. I'll probably go back for the pizza and the care taken to make it. I'm Gluten Intolerant and didn't have any issue with the food.

I don’t trust a pub with fake flowers. This is a rule I choose to live by, and I think others would benefit from this knowledge. The garden area is nice and usually lively, but the inside is dead. If you are looking to get drinks for cheap, it’s a good place to go, but it lack’s atmosphere and once again, fake flowers. Pizzas are good but small.

Excellent staff, excellent service, excellent managment, pretty good food/drink (depending on personal taste, but if you like the items available, you'll probably enjoy the taste of it). Only negative: the security on big nights can be confrontational and rude unnecessarily to generic customers. Would recommend to any newcomers. If you leave behind/loose something staff are really good at keeping lost property. 10/10 all around

Top tier pub. Two pints (inch's and pravha) equalled exactly £10 so pricing not horrendous and the food was delicious. We had a pizza and a panini and both tasted fantastic. The real highlight was the beer garden. We went during the FA cup final and the atmosphere was amazing. Loads of people drinking and enjoying the sun with plenty of light football banter and a screen outside to watch the game. Don't often go out this far but will be back when I do!
Harri F — Google review
The Coke and the beer taste like they are diluted with water or something. Had the Fosters, Moretti, and Peroni on tap and all tasted wrong, and we just switched to whiskey, which was safest bey. The new benches are trash. You are sitting on flimsy benches and tables with random people in your business. It was better before. You need to get rid of those. Other than that, it is the best pub in Englefield, and the garden is a vibe.

Runnymede Cafe is a delightful spot that welcomes visitors year-round, even during the quiet winter months when other places may be closed. It offers an impressive selection of teas, coffees, and ice creams that are particularly popular with families. While it might be on the pricier side, many see it as a special treat or a fun outing. In summer, the cafe buzzes with activity but maintains quick service to keep up with demand.
We love the ice cream here. So many different flavours. My favourites are the pistachio, bubblegum and snickers. They also do affogato with any flavour ice cream. Today I had it with the pistachio and it tasted really good. Staff are friendly and the tables were all clean.

First up this cafe is open in the dead of winter when there’s nobody around and they serve a great range of teas and drinks and ice creams the kids love. It’s a bit pricey but think of it like a treat or day out as it’s open when everyone else is not. In the summer the whole place gets rammed and it’s still quick and efficient. The chips are great if you like a snack and the food is basic. But for teas coffee and ice cream on a hot or cold day - fantastic. Toilets are next door and recently modernised. Loads of parking for cars bikes dogs and children. Free and paid entertainment on warm days too.

If you're in the mood for a delicious pizza experience, look no further than Domino's Pizza - Egham. This popular delivery and carryout chain boasts an extensive menu featuring not only a variety of mouthwatering pizzas but also an array of other delectable dishes and sides to satisfy any craving. Customers have consistently enjoyed reliable delivery service, with many sharing positive experiences about their orders.
Absolutely clueless franchise that has no idea about customer service or handling online orders. Three orders in a row where we show up to find pizza isn’t ready or even in the oven. Will not return. Papa John’s up the street much much better

I ordered a double pepperoni pizza. One of the worst tasting ones ive ever had. The sauce tasted off but I never usually eat from Dominos so ignored that. I have had food poisoning for 2 days. Do not order from here. As well as giving me food poisoning the staff at the counter are rude and are clueless regarding deals and promos.
Kacper S — Google review
Decided to get a pizza from here. Pizza was average at best. The worst part of it was the delivery driver. Went down to get the pizza and was presented with the rudest most entitled person iv ever met. Swore at me because I took to long to come and get my pizza according to him. Thought the whole point delivery was that the pizza would come to me. Won't be using them again. Not worth it paying good money for some grumpy person swearing at me because he hates his job.

ordered a pizza, there was a gap in it, whit doesn’t make sense if the pizza is supposedly round. i call to get it rectified, and was spoken to in a disgusting tone and told i was a liar, i tried to explain i have a video of me opening it and a picture and was told i did it and that its not possible for me to be missing a piece, even though i’m the one looking at it. honestly awful service, rude staff, bad pizza.
Tiana R — Google review
Called the store 3 times, on the first attempt they asked me to hold the line and hung up. When I arrived to collect the order the only words spoken to me were.. card only no cash, I understand a lot of places are still card only but the fact that card merchants take 2% makes it a tad stupid.. but also just the condescending tone really felt insulting. I walked back into the store to ask for sauce and serviettes as they weren’t offered and they were given without a hint of politeness.. I still thanked them and said goodnight, no response.
Legacy T — Google review
The pizzas have gone downhill whilst the prices keep going up. The pizzas are now beginning to taste all the same and it seems that there is some skimping on the base ingredients. Rubber pizzas I am afraid.
Sukhwant R — Google review
After ordering a Large 13.5" pizza, I received a 12" medium pizza. Although it's in the red box suggesting its size is large, as seen from the photo, I was argued with over the phone. After a lengthy dispute, a new pizza was finally promised at the correct size. Also, if the workers from Domino's Egham is watching, how did you not notice this pizza doesn't appropriately within its container? No tip and I'm never ordering from Domino's again as mistakes like this happen profusely, from out-of-stock drinks to arguing with me over the phone.

Great oriental take away. I had Singapore noodles and sweet and sour chicken balls. Was so yum. My friends are vegetarian and they had variety of food too. Portion sizes are generous. Would definitely get food from here again.

Food is good but service is terrible. Ordered a home delivery at 7pm for a 20:30 delivery time, food arrives at 21:10. Lady on the phone just constantly apologising for late delivery but no offer of discount for late delivery. Very unorganised. Would not recommend unless ordering in person.

Great environment, food is good but two pound for a slice of pizza is a bit too much. The beers here aren't that good but they have the usual. Setting is nice and staff are very friendly.

Subway is a casual fast-food restaurant that offers customizable sandwiches and salads, catering to health-conscious individuals. Situated at the central location on Staines High Street, it serves as an ideal spot for a quick and satisfying meal while shopping. The atmosphere is pleasant, with ample seating available. Unlike the Subway branch on Staines-Ash Parade, this particular location stands out for its exceptional customer service. The staff members are dedicated and go above and beyond their duties without receiving adequate compensation.
Seriously though I will never expect this kind of service at Subway counter. We are not from around but this gentleman who served us was brilliant. He served every customer with same level of respect and service. Fantastic job done Mr . From .. Foot long stake &cheese and 6” tuna lotto couples. Ps: the waffle fries could be more crispy and crunchy .

Stopped by Subway this morning and had such a great experience! The food was fresh and exactly how I wanted it—but what really stood out was the lady working there. She was so kind, polite, and had a genuinely welcoming vibe that made my day start off right. It’s always nice when great service matches great food. Big thanks to her for the positive energy—will definitely be back soon!

Cost £19 and the food is very oily and the service lady didn’t listen to what I was asking her to put in my food she just put whatever she wanted the fries look like they been there for 2 days .

Completely empty ghost town. I asked the guy to toast my sub and he chose to toast it after adding all the cheese and salad and sauce. My subway came out squashed and with boiling hot salad. Not good. I asked for nachos which were prepared outside of a bkx. Very little toppings

Delivery service
If you're on the hunt for a delicious pizza experience, look no further than Papa John's Pizza. This popular take-out and delivery chain serves up an array of classic and specialty pizzas that are sure to satisfy any craving. Beyond just pizza, they also offer tasty wings, sides, and desserts to complete your meal. I had a memorable late-night visit where Sohbir truly exemplified exceptional customer service by crafting a fresh pizza even after hours.
Awful and does not even deserve one star. One pizza was rock hard underneath, the other pizza and starter had no cheese. Rude and unhelpful staff that lie and change their stories constantly then ignore your calls when they see who is calling. A nonexistent manager that apparently is never working. Avoid this place.
Vicky H — Google review
First pic is a make it yourself pizza that I requested 2 x spicy beef and 2 x Italian sausage with red chillies, green pepper (not jelapeno) and cheese. There is no way this is 4 x meat. It’s basically a cheese pizza with speckles of meat which is why I 4 times the meat! Picture 2 is supposed to be a bbq sauce base not a topping. Picture 3 was also bbq Bassett which is fine but remove the mushrooms and peppers which was not done! How hard is it to read the order written in black and white English! I call the store and the guy says there’s no manager, call tomorrow. Then I complain that I have an issue and there isn’t even anyone to speak to in the store about it which is ridiculous! So I explain the problem and he says he did put 2 x spicy beef and 2 x Italian sausage on the first pizza, oh and ‘sorry about that’ regarding the jalapeños that were supposed to be green pepper and that he’ll make me another pizza. Im at home. It was a delivery order. Im not waiting another hour for a correct pizza when it’s already 20:40 at night. Livid.
Cheryl D — Google review
(Doesn’t even deserve 1 star) I would NOT recommend ordering. I placed an order through Just Eat approximately half an hour before midnight for one large pizza, sides and two drinks to be delivered to a nearby hotel. When the delivery arrived, the driver explained that the restaurant had refused to prepare part of the order because they were “closed,” despite the restaurant being advertised as open on the app and my order having been confirmed. As a result, half of my order was missing, and what did arrive was cold.
Sophie R — Google review
Awful Management and are blaming the cold for delivering a cold pizza and garlic break - when phoning management it also seemed as though they had no genuine interest in resolving the situation and were adamant that the pizza was hot when it left. The fact that there was no apology or remorse is what made it more annoying - DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU LIVE WITHIN A 5min radius - worst management ever and will not get far with cold delivery’s of hot food !!
Jaspal S — Google review
One star is for app, which is so bad and useless. I'm standing in front of it, but can only order delivery Edit: if this review affects Egham branch I will remove it, but unfortunately there is no Papa Johns brand to leave review, but even as branch you could push them to improve
Bojan S — Google review
For delivery, have an annoying ‘scam’ that they will always cancel your order and send the pizza through their local driver so they avoid Uber’s fees (even when ordering through the papa johns website or app). This has led to cold pizza in the past.

felt very let down by the service and staff working Saturday 21st in the evening! not sure what went wrong with the Piri chicken bites but they don’t look like ones i would normally have.. the fact they didn’t understand english wasn’t great either when trying to tell them my name and order

Located on Egham High Street, The Kings Arms is a charming pub and boutique stay just a short drive from Virginia Waters lakeside trails. The dining area features stylish decor with midnight blue banquettes and hare-print chairs, offering a menu of elevated pub grub including options like bang bang cauliflower and haddock and chips, as well as popular Sunday roasts.
Lovely Sunday Lunch! The food was good, the service was excellent; very friendly and attentive and it's a lovely place to eat. We went on Easter Sunday with our 7 year old who discovered a love for the Yorkshire puddings! (they are so good). We had the sirlion of beef and lamb roasts, which were delicious. They have a good childrens menu too. The macaroni cheese went down well. A huge thank you to Christos and the team for a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon. We will definitely be back.

Four of us booked The Kings Arms after seeing an advert for Steak Night. We ordered drinks, studied the menu and my wife and I decided to order the Chateaubriand. When our Waitress came, she told us that it was sold out... at 6.30pm on Steak Night, we hurriedly scanned the menu and ordered a Steak Frites each instead. When it arrived, we were alarmed to find it took significant pressure and much sawing of the blade to cut through the steak. Placing a piece in the mouth confirmed that it was tough as old boots. We called the Waitress over and she asked us what we would like instead. We obviously did not want to order the same again but she told us there was no alternative steak available. So it had to be a burger! They promised to remove the first steaks from the bill but we had to query again as they had only removed one. They were also unable to credit a discount voucher we had, instead offering a smaller discount. In summary, the poor quality of the steak was very disappointing but the battle to get charged the correct amount was even more so. This was our first and last visit to The Kings Arms.

I came here for a late lunch with my Mother and kids after an unfortunate event with my car! The staff were very friendly and accomodating seeing as we arrived quite late for a Sunday lunch. Due to the time of day, and having young children with me, we all wanted different types of food. The manager was more than happy to oblige and spoke to the kitchen for us. They provided my mother with a cream tea, whilst my kids and I had the delicious bang bang cauliflower with chips and a few other side orders. Delicious food, friendly, obliging staff. I'll definitely be returning!

Can't comment on the rooms because I have only been here for dinner twice but the dinner has been fantastic both times! Really lovely staff, exceptionally delicious food - far better than average pub standard and a really lovely atmosphere. The decor is really tasteful and what I appreciate most of all is really nice, classily fitted out toilets that are CLEAN. Dish recommendations: the curry, the fish cake, all five desserts we've tried between three of us are delicious. My only recommendation is more custard for the crumble! We love this place and we will be back!

Enjoyed a delicious lunch here on Monday afternoon. We were impressed with the attentiveness of the staff particularly our host although I didn't catch her name - she was very charming and took the time to chat/play with our 2 year old son. We will definitely be back for a date night soon!

You'd never know this was here just by the roundabout, and whilst the urban setting outside is not the most picturesque, the inside is bright, colourful, welcoming and cozy. The glassed over room was lovely to eat in, and the quirky art on the wall added a sense of fun. Good stock in the bar, nice to see Tullamore Dew as well as Oban on the shelves. Nice coffee. Service was calm, patient, non intrusive, but friendly. Food good and reassuringly priced! You pay for what you get and I was obsessed with the tastes and quantity arriving on my plate. A good place to spend many hours catching up with an old friend.

Visited Caspari in Egham and really enjoyed it. We had the a few drinks, Pizza Garlic Bread, Penne Milanese, and Spaghetti Carbonara. The Penne Milanese was rich and creamy with a good balance of tomato and spice, while the Carbonara was classic — creamy, had a generous amount of pancetta and well seasoned. Portions were generous and filling. The Pizza Garlic Bread stood out — perfectly baked, full of flavour, and definitely worth trying. Nice environment with friendly and attentive staff. Would recommend for a reliable, satisfying meal.

The restaurant was decorated beautifully with petals, balloons, candles and flowers for valentine's day. The food was beautiful and portions were huge, and came out very quickly. The service was fantastic and very quick. The lady who served us was ever so lovely and gave me a rose to leave with. Overall a wonderful experience and I couldn't recommend it enough. We felt instantly at home here, the service was impeccable and the food was amazing! The portions were huge, and the drinks (esp the cocktails) were incredible! We will definately be back to visit soon! 🤍

Food portions were huge, both the carbonara and the primavera pasta were really good — I think I enjoyed the primavera one more. The margarita was very nice aswell — I recommend if you like sour drinks. The cosmo wasn’t my cup of tea but if you like vodka cranberry then you’d like it aswell. We were sat by the window, the atmosphere was very family friendly, quite bustling and lively. Overall, not lacking in any department, would come again every so often.

What an incredible Italian gem! We've been coming here for years, and it never disappoints. The food is always cooked to perfection, the cocktails are lush, and the atmosphere is second to none. The lamb shank is a personal favourite, I'm not usually a lover of lamb, but this dish has become my go-to every single time. It's just that good! The service truly makes this place feel like home, warm, welcoming, and full of heart. Abi's hospitality is outstanding; nothing is ever too much trouble for him, and his cheeky smile is always a highlight. The whole team goes above and beyond to make you feel looked after. A massive shoutout to the chefs as well, the food they create is absolutely phenomenal. Consistently top-tier. Highly recommended!

Lived in Englefield Green for years and this was the first time trying Caspari...safe to say its my new favorite place!! The food was so delicious. The staff were friendly. The vibe was great. Service was quick and food was amazing. They cater extremely well for gluten free choices (except for things like lasagna and canelloni) but otherwise their gluten free pasta and pizza was fantastic. Equally their normal pizza was amazing too! 100% recommend. Will be visiting again soon!!

If you're in Egham and craving some delicious chicken, look no further than Cheeky Chicken And Grill! This spot is a fantastic choice for a quick bite after a busy day or even post-night out. While it may not be your traditional restaurant, it offers an array of mouthwatering options including burgers, wraps, salads, and of course, their signature fried chicken.
Today I had the best burger of my life here! The meat was juicy, fresh, and cooked to perfection, with crisp veggies that tasted super fresh. The chicken wrap was absolutely delicious – full of flavor, perfectly seasoned, and the sauces complemented it so well. The fries were golden and crispy on the outside, soft on the inside – just perfect. It’s rare to find a place where everything hits the spot: burger, wrap, fries, sauces – all outstanding. The portions are generous too, so you definitely get great value for money. If you’re in Egham, this place is a must-try. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Always a great experience at Liberto Lounge. I’ve never had a bad meal here and the food is consistently tasty. If the main reason you're looking up reviews for this restaurant is because you've spotted the words "Nasi Goreng" on the menu, and you now want to see if any Malaysian/Singaporean person has tried it to verify it's authenticity, then you're in luck, because this is that review. Sadly however, the Nasi Goreng does not taste at all like the real deal. It's basically a generic Asian stir fry that you'd find in a fusion/westernised Asian restaurant. But that's not necessarily a bad thing; in fact it's still pretty nice as its own standalone, completely separate dish. Just don't expect actual Nasi Goreng. My other slight complaint was that when I went there at 2.30pm for lunch, which was admittedly on the late side, half of all the mains on the menu were no longer available. The atmosphere was good though. Nice lighting, very clean, friendly staff, and toys for little children.

I’ve never been to one of The Lounge chains. I met two teacher friends, as it was half-term, here. I really enjoyed the food and I would definitely return. However, you need to accept Blue Light Cards or give Student Discounts. I would ordinarily go to Bar 163, where I love, and who rival you on price and taste imo.

A Versatile Gem for Every Occasion This restaurant is an absolute gem, catering to just about everyone—whether you're catching up with friends, enjoying a family meal, grabbing a quick coffee with the school mums, or meeting work colleagues for a casual lunch. It's also perfect for students looking for budget-friendly options without compromising on quality. The atmosphere is inviting, with lovely decor and spacious, comfortable seating throughout. The staff are a standout—polite, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, which makes each visit a pleasure. Service is impressively quick, and the food is both delicious and well-presented. There are plenty of great-value deals to take advantage of, like Tapas Tuesdays and weekly specials that keep things exciting and affordable. What really sets this place apart is its community vibe. There are always events planned to suit a wide range of interests, adding a vibrant and inclusive touch that makes you want to return again and again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxed, reliable spot to dine, chat, or simply unwind.

Love this place, easy to order, food is great and cocktails are the best!! I always go for the Caesar salad, the Cherry Bakewell twists and the Smash burger. Visitors have praised the friendly welcome and pleasant owners, as well as the perfect fish and magnificent chips. The freshly made chips are particularly noteworthy, with clean oil used for frying. Customers appreciate the large portions and efficient, friendly service.
1st time going here for a few years, we were not disappointed. Service very friendly and welcoming. Fish (large cod) was big enough to serve 3 people, delicious. Battered sausage very nice and large chips, again enough to feed 3/4 people, also very nice. There was no after taste from the oil which you can get from some fish and chip shops. Best of all for me, being northern, I can get scraps, full bag, my favourite. They did forget to add our chips and we had to go back, but soon rectified, very apologetic, not a problem as we don't live too far. All in all this will be our chippy next time we want fish and chips. Definitely need to try 🙂

Fantastic staff and food. They had remembered our usual order after not visiting for 6 months+. Little chip bag given while we waited, out of the door within a couple minutes.

First time here and this is a gem. Decent chips, food cooked to order, but most importantly, friendly, outstanding service. My local chippy in Staines had gone down hill, but comparing this service to that I'd got elsewhere, Rock and Roe get 10/10. What a friendly bunch you are!

Was very disappointed with this fish and chip shop first time going there the last time I will go there I live literally 6 minutes up the road from the chip shop the time I got home it was cold or it was cold when I bought it rang them up straight away told him my fish was cold and very dry he called me a liar abused me in the shop when I asked for my money back and told me never to go there again I suggest nobody goes there

Chicken restaurant
Peri Peri Sizzlers offers a variety of dishes, including their popular smash burger that is both sizable and delicious. However, the quality of the peri peri chips was found to be lacking. Despite this, the lunchtime wrap meal deal comes highly recommended for its great value and tasty offerings. Customers have praised the beautifully cooked chicken burger and fluffy, crunchy chips, though some found the service slow and prices high.
The restaurant is overall amazing. The quality of food is top-notch. Their options of beef burgers are unmatched in their flavors and how juicy the beef is and well-made. The sauces are good. The bun is soft, although it would be good if they could provide another type of bun as well because the brioche can be a bit heavy at times. But what made me write this review is the New Crispy Chicken burger that they are serving. It is honestly the best I’ve had in the UK. It is so crunchy yet juicy and the flavor of the chicken is savory accompanied by the amazing sauce. It just makes a perfect recipe that the Colonel Sanders will be jealous of. And the cherry on top for me is that it’s halal !

Hi, Yesterday I ordered a collection for my mum to collect in store. I ordered a Mixed platter, as told on the phone the chicken strips, wings and the rice were good there was no problem with it. But the whole chicken was raw not eatable and corn on the cob was mouldy. I don’t want no refund, no compensation. All I wanted was to explain over the phone and the person did not understand what I was saying. So here’s the review, maybe it’s easier to understand this way. Thanks

I finally got around to trying this peri peri chicken place, and honestly, I was blown away. First off, the chicken is next level. You can really tell it’s been marinated properly — every bite was packed with flavor, juicy on the inside, and had that perfect charred crisp on the outside. I went for medium heat to start, and it had just the right amount of kick without being overpowering. Next time, I might be brave and try the hot! The sides were just as good. I had the spicy rice and peri peri fries — both were full of flavor and complimented the chicken perfectly. I also tried the garlic bread (couldn’t resist), and it was crispy, buttery, and seriously addictive. Service was quick and friendly, and the whole place had a nice, laid-back vibe. Nothing fancy, but clean, comfortable, and full of good energy.

Foresters Arms is a favorite pub in Egham, offering a spacious venue with attentive and professional bar staff. It's known for its reasonable prices, well-kept drinks, and good atmosphere. The pub also serves as a restaurant offering genuine Asian-flavored Thai food at reasonable prices. With friendly staff and customers, it's an ideal spot for sports enthusiasts to catch multiple matches while enjoying a good view from any seat. Additionally, the outdoor space provides a pleasant setting in this quiet area.
Atmosphere encouraged comfort and relaxation.

I was there for a birthday party, the venue had enough space, the bar staff were attentive and professional, you never had to wait long for your next drink. The prices were very reasonable, and the drinks were kept well. Nice place good atmosphere, would definitely use the pub again

This has to be one of my favourite pubs in Egham. Friendly staff and customers in a quiet area. Also the best pub for sports in Egham! No matter where you sit you always have a good view of the sports. So definitely the best pub for sports as you can watch two different matches there. Definitely worth a visit.

It's a very good proper pub like in the 90's which is what I grew up with relaxed down to earth people, pool table, friendly staff, very good owner, don't come if you are looking for a romantic meal or a quiet night. . It's not gastro or posh suite's it's a regular place to have a beer and a laugh . It's got a very good large private hire room on the side had many a good party there! !

The restaurant serves as a pub if you're looking for a beer, but it's also a restaurant serving Thai food. Coming from Asia myself, this was a pleasant surprise especially since the food has a genuine Asian flavour. The price was reasonable and the portion sizes were were the money.

Soya Oriental in Hazlemere is a local favorite for Chinese takeout, offering a wide variety of Asian dishes. Customers have been loyal for years, praising the fast and delicious food, with favorites like mixed vegetable chow mein and won ton soup. While some occasional inconsistencies have been noted, overall, Soya Oriental is known for delivering restaurant-quality food with great value.
I've used soya for five years now, unlike other local takeaways they are always consistent with the varied fresh vegetables, sauces and quality meats. Never had a bad meal yet.

Food arrived hot I had asked for no veg in two dishes but they had no taste. No chilli in the chilli beef. Beef in ginger no ginger pieces!! requested Plain chicken rice had egg in it so not eaten. More veg than beef in other two dishes. Shame. Please do changed these things so we can order again
Di J — Google review
Worst Chinese I've ever had. Four of us ordered 2x chicken balls, Singapore noodles, special fried rice, spring rolls and 2x crispy chilli beef. The best thing was the noodles and the spring rolls although the spring rolls had little to no filling but were Extra crunchy. I had the crispy chilly beef and the sauce was very sour not the usual colour and completely full of carrot batons. It was edible but not enjoyable. The others complained about the rice and didn't understand why it was a red color. But the worst by far was the chicken balls I had one and it was rock solid batter and the chicken was so tough and dry I couldn't chew it. It was so oily as well which while we expect to be a little greasy the table after putting the bag on was basically an ice rink of grease. It was by far the worst Chinese I've ever eaten and the others all agreed. Soya used to be ok but we found their sweet and sour sauce had too much vinegar so stopped ordering that but now we won't be back.

First time ordering tonight and I must say the food was the best I have had since moving to the area, everything hot and done within 30 mins, service was lovely and food delicious. New favourite place to order

Shockingly delayed take away. We have used Soya for many years but won’t be using them again. Ordered at 7.25pm and arrived at a quarter to ten. Half of it was cold and congealed. Promised delivery time was 50 mins to an hour. Several calls where we were fobbed off with ‘it’s next out of the kitchen’ and ‘it’s on its way’ which it clearly wasn’t. Already paid for. No refund or part refund. Best offer was a reduction on next order. Terrible customer service.
Julia F — Google review
Have always used this Chinese takeaway for more than 8 years but after the way I was spoken to by the woman answering the phone tonight when I advised them some of my order was missing and was told the driver would bring the rest I'm 45 mins and I refused it as the food would be cold and I asked for a refund she then told me I couldn't have a refund only a complementary order next time which again I refused given they had failed on their delivery to then be asked in a very sarcastic manner 'are you ok' to which I replied actually no I'm not I'm not well and half my food is missing she then told me i cant keep the duck and get a refund which id never asked for and I said fine I will leave it on the doorstep and she said she will collect it in 45mins she then told me to stop being rude which I wasn't..she then put on a very sarcastic voice again and thanked me for me call! Really bad attitude and you have now lost my custom after 8 years!! I hope the owner reads this cos you seriously need to get rid of her and you process my refund..furious! Just had a call back from the lovely Charlene who is apparently the manager at soya..she accused us of eating the food which I advised her we had unwrapped the food to start shredding the duck, and emptied the chicken into a bowl..so no food was eaten at all regardless of her accusations..she then went into a full rant after I said her voicemail message was aweful that she left on my husbands voice mail she then told me that my husband was embarrassed off me (which was totally vile and totally off subject) she screamed like an unintelligent banshee clearly as she has such low intelligence she hasn't worked out any form of customer service yet! Oh she refused to refund my money and told me i could collect the food by which time it was nearly10pm or she woukd throw it in the bin and id still not get a refund! Appalling!!

Very disappointed with the crispy lamb wrap taste too earthy! Anyway, the food there was always good but the reason why only one star is we have to wait for 2 hours for our food! Children have been waiting for their food but because it was getting late I had to make them something easy and put them to bed. They said they are very busy but they should not have tell us a set time when they can deliver. We are very disappointed and hungry children. All they said is that they are too busy no apologies whatsoever!
Gina S — Google review
I suppose every restaurant has an off day but as I’m no expert on oriental food I ordered vegetable spring rolls that had no vegetable filling just pastry. Then no egg in the egg fried rice just rice. Noodles with no flavor. I ate my spare ribs cos I was hungry. Generous helping of chicken balls but meager cup is sauce. To prove a point my girlfriend took to another restaurant and ordered a similar meal. The difference was astounding everything tasted much much better and all portions were generous to the point that there was enough for the next day. Shame because the English lady on the counter was very polite and friendly. Will not go back

If you're on the lookout for a delightful Chinese takeaway experience, look no further than Yang Guang Takeaway. Nestled conveniently just up the road, this gem has become a go-to spot for many locals who appreciate its diverse menu and friendly service. Regular patrons often find themselves trying various dishes while having their favorites to fall back on. One memorable occasion was during Good Friday when a customer requested some meal modifications to adhere to dietary preferences—an example of how accommodating Yang Guang can be!
Great place! I’ve used the supermarket to pick up some snacks and they are always friendly. Make sure to bring your cash, if you forget, there’s an ATM just by the post office. I always order here with my Chinese friends. They complain that it is difficult to find Chinese food outside of London, but they were grateful to have this store in Egham. We always receive great food + snacks and it’s our favourite place to order whilst we get together at university.

I ordered their beef with flat noodles (£9.70 not on menu so she charged more) and special fried rice (pointing to it on the menu- Total cost 17.20. Had to be cash and no receipt was given - as usual When I got home I found plain rice with slurry of mixed veg and minuscule bits of meat plus 2 prawns on top. Quite disgusted

For food alone, if I could give them negative stars I would. I’m Asian and pretty familiar with Chinese food. I understand that it’s heavily westernised here but this was another level. They used the same sauce for every dish except the beef in black bean sauce. However food did come fast and wasn’t the worst price I’ve paid for Chinese. But for Chinese of that quality it’s a polite pass 😐

If you're on the lookout for an exceptional dining experience, Roti Shoti is a must-visit spot in Egham and Staines. With a clean environment and attentive service, it’s no wonder that many patrons return time after time. I have been ordering regularly for over 2 years with Roti Shoti. Taste is fantastic and their service is exemplary. The pub has ample parking spaces. Nice gardens in front and rear. The restaurant area is quiet. I am compelled to give just one star due to the truly appalling attitude of the waiter at the bar. His rudeness was not only disappointing but also tarnished what should have been an enjoyable experience. I sincerely hope the manager comes across this review and considers providing the waiter with proper training to improve his customer service skills as soon as possible.

We came in on a quiet Tuesday. Ordered promptly at the bar and got some great deals. Food came quickly hot and fresh, staff were friendly and checked everything was OK with the food. The nachos were bloody lovely they didn't skimp on the toppings like most places

I went here last weekend for a family meal. It was very enjoyable. The staff were nice. The food was fantastic except for my desert. My desert was ment to be a cake with a moose then ice cream instead I got a frozen cake with frozen moose and ice cream.i understand that they probably have there deserts come in frozen ready made but I was looking forward to it and a tad disappointed. But in a plus the hot food was incredible very delicious and I would definitely go back again for a meal. My children loved the food and they enjoyed having some coloring pencils and a colour in sheet. they also enjoyed the play bit outside but I must say that some of the fence around the play area was broken and looked very in safe. I would give this place a 8/10 and would recommend it to friends and family.
Charlotte Y — Google review
An average experience... The food is well portioned and despite being tasty, lends itself more to quantity over quality. Staff are generally polite if not with the occasional member being disinterested. Both gardens have a certain charm, however, the facilities could use some attention and there is a casual, unloved feel to the place. I visit occasionally and don't have an unpleasant experience. I could only recommend this place for a casual drink and a no thrills meal.

Fine dining restaurant
Located within the picturesque Great Fosters hotel in Egham, The Tudor Pass is a highly acclaimed dining establishment. Adorned with Renaissance-style decor, this converted Tudor-style hotel offers an intimate and exclusive experience. With limited seating of just 24 covers spread across seven tables, guests can enjoy the utmost luxury in the dimly-lit and cosy environment of The Tudor Room.
My wife and I had an amazing meal and experience at the Tudor pass for our 1st year anniversary. The staff and chefs absolutely smashed it, the food was amazing with every dish having a back story or history towards it. The service was on point from a team who seemed genuinely happy and proud to be there. It was great to meet Head Chef Alex Payne as he came out to introduce some of the dishes alongside his team. We highly recommend this to anyone considering coming and plan to return in the very near future.

On September 27, we dined at The Tudor Pass, while staying a Great Fosters Estate. The meal was exceptional...creative both in preparation and presentation. Executive Head Chef Stefano Di Giosa and his team clearly demonstrate a passion for haute cuisine and pleasing their guests. The tasting menu consisted of six courses, with a few additional surprises at the end of the meal. Of particular note were the Chalk Stream Trout, Hand-Dived Orkney Scallop with Sturia Caviar and English Peas, and the Spring Lab with Courgette, Apricot and Wild Herbs. The room was intimate and the service was impeccable...fully attentive, without being intrusive on conversations. Each course was described as it was served, and the presentation was both inventive and highly creative. (See jewel box photo below.) It was indeed, a most memorable evening and recommend this restaurant for "foodies" and those desiring to become one!
Jim D — Google review
The Tudor Pass, Great Fosters, Egham The Tudor Pass is a small, elegant dining room within the historic Great Fosters hotel in Surrey, holding a single Michelin star under head chef Tony Parkin. The room seats perhaps twenty guests at most, with heavy oak beams, pale lighting, and comfortably spaced tables that allow conversation without intrusion. Service is efficient, courteous, and notably unpretentious. A tasting menu was offered at £145. An initial canape of smoked eel tartlet was delicate, the pastry very fine, and the eel’s gentle smokiness balanced by a touch of apple acidity. This was followed by a crisp bite of chicken skin topped with liver parfait and truffle, the rich, saline note of the liver nicely offset by a hint of sweetness from a port reduction. The bread course featured a house-made sourdough of high quality, served with cultured butter that had a pleasing lactic tang. The texture of the crumb was supple and warm, suggesting careful fermentation. A dish of Orkney scallop arrived next, lightly seared and served with cauliflower purée and a sherry vinegar dressing. The scallop was perfectly timed, translucent at the centre, and the vinegar added a precise lift without overwhelming the natural sweetness of the shellfish. The main course of venison with celeriac, smoked beetroot, and a juniper reduction was exceptional. The meat was tender, cooked to a blushing pink, and the beetroot’s earthiness deepened the sauce’s aromatic sharpness. A small dish of pomme purée—more butter than potato, as it should be—completed the plate. A pre-dessert of green apple granita with yuzu curd was well-judged, cleansing and bright. Dessert proper was a chocolate délice with miso caramel and hazelnut ice cream. The miso added a faintly savoury edge that worked effectively to prevent the richness from becoming cloying. Service throughout was attentive but not overbearing, and wines were intelligently chosen by the sommelier, whose recommendations showed both knowledge and restraint. The Tudor Pass is a kitchen of precision rather than spectacle. Dishes are measured, flavours clean, and presentation refined without affectation. It does not chase novelty but pursues balance and craft. On this evidence, its Michelin star is well earned. Food: 8/10 – Service: 8/10 – Ambience: 7/10 – Overall: 8/10

The Tudor Pass – a sensational exhibition of gastronomic excellence and best of British sustainable and seasonable dining featuring local produce! There are Michelin-starred restaurants that deliver perfect plates, and then there is The Tudor Pass—where every dish is a story, every sip a scene, and every detail a piece of edible and nature-inspired art. From the very first amuse-bouche, we fell in love and were guided through a gastronomic delight for over 3 hours. The tone was set by the most warming, welcoming and cared for service we have ever experienced. We love this mighty team and were already planning our next visit and weekend stay before we left the table! The cocktails were no less captivating. A blushing pink creation crowned with a raspberry felt like summer in a glass, light and sparkling. In contrast, an amber-hued old-fashioned, its citrus peel spiralling like a ribbon of sunset, offered depth, warmth, and a touch of smoky sophistication. Top tier choices for us were the sourdough potato bread, trout, scallop and lamb - absolutely unreal. Thank you, Chris, Alex, Rose, Luca, and Stefano, for not just feeding us, but transporting us. At The Tudor Pass, the table is your stage, and the performance is unforgettable. Thank you for making my husband’s birthday extraordinary.

A unique and exceptional experience from start to finish. My partner and I came here for a birthday lunch in April. We had the 4 course tasting menu but it felt more like a 10 course tasting menu as there were so many extra snacks including a bread course. The food was absolutely exquisite. We were blown away by the creativity, flavours and presentation. Standout dishes were the beetroot starter with horseradish sorbet and the turbot fish course with morel mushrooms and red prawns. The service was fantastic from start to finish. The chefs also serve each dish to the table and give a description of each dish as it is presented. Great Fosters is in beautiful surroundings and the restaurant itself is small, cosy and with a very chilled and sophisticated ambience. But without feeling to stuffy or formal. The wine and cocktail selection is also great. For a Michelin star restaurant, we also thought the tasting menu at £80 per head was great value for everything we had. Highly recommend. Thank you to the Tudor Pass team for a fantastic experience and exceptional food.

We came to the Tudor Pass to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I have had the good fortune to eat in some of the world’s best restaurants, but I can honestly say the experience at Tudor Pass goes down as my favourite. The atmosphere is intimate (7 tables), in a gorgeous ancient estate replete with tapestries and painted beams. The seats are extremely comfortable. The service was impeccable - from the greeting, to lovely chat with the chefs. Everything served at the right speed. And finally the quality of the food, its variety, the presentation was exquisite. For example some lovely twists on scallops, chalkstream trout, venison, with delicious sauces. I cannot recommend this highly enough. Thanks to the whole team for a lovely evening!
Phil R — Google review
Have been here many times and it never disappoints. Yes if you compare to a pub meal it expensive but not for a Michelin star. If you are looking for something a little decadent or for a special occasion I would highly recommend it. Whether it’s for a 4 or 7 course lunch or a dinner the food it so beautifully prepared, you may feel as I used to that the portions are small so you will be left feeling hungry but this is far from the case as with several courses and the richness of the food it’s actually very filling and this is coming from someone who trust can eat! The taste of each dish and balance of flavours and texture contrasts are all carefully thought out and compliment each other. My personal favourites are the current scallop dish, the beetroot dish and as someone who is very particular about deserts the blackberry dessert was phenomenal and I’ve been to many different fine dining experiences including some 3 stars. It was a delight! The staff are so friendly and helpful I’m sometimes come on my own just because why not and if they have time they are happy to chat but are also very professional and on the ball with timings and drink top ups, can’t fault them. The general feel of the restaurant is warm and cosy with an intimate feel but doesn’t feel stiff or uncomfortable as some fine dine establishments do. Perfect for any occasion whether for intimate diners for two or family get together me, business lunches, anniversary or even as decadent lunch for one and a good book. If you’ve ever thought of trying a Michelin star dining experience and felt nervous or put off because you won’t fit in or feel comfortable then rest assured this is the perfect place to try that will put all those doubts to rest.

What a great hidden gem of a place the decor and ambience and music in this place is a perfect mix...staff are great friendly and great to talk to I really loved the leather sofa seats in this place the decor is tastefully done transporting you back in time to the good old days. I really suggest you try this place out you won't be disappointed ill definitely be going back to try more food from the menu as this time I just had the berry cheesecake with tea which was absolutely yummy 😋

Humiliated and Banned at Nostrano Lounge in Staines – After Spending £3,000 Here “I don’t care if you spend £3,000 or £300—you will not be disrespectful to my staff.” That’s what the head chef, who also claimed to own Nostrano Lounge, said to me loudly in front of a full restaurant—before banning me on the spot. Not only was this a complete exaggeration, it was deeply humiliating and uncalled for. I’ve eaten at Nostrano Lounge 3 times a week for years with my family—both dining in and ordering takeaway. We’ve supported this business faithfully, built friendly relationships with the team, and spent thousands over time. Today, I made a simple request to have my sandwich made properly because previous orders had come out under-portioned or incorrect. Instead of handling it with any professionalism, a waitress challenged me. When I calmly explained my past experience, the head chef stormed out, accused me of being “disrespectful,” and told me I was no longer welcome. This wasn’t just bad service—it was a complete disregard for loyal customers and basic decency. To the real owner of Nostrano Lounge: I’d appreciate a call. Until then, this review will be posted on every major platform—Google, TripAdvisor, Yelp, Facebook, and more—until people know exactly how you treat your regulars. This is unacceptable, and I won’t stay silent about it.

I recently attended a Sip and Paint event at Nostrano Lounge, and I wanted to share my thoughts on the overall experience. First off, the atmosphere was a bit mixed. On one hand, the venue itself boasts nice decor and a cozy vibe, making it visually appealing. However, the event was a bit overshadowed by diners who didn’t seem to be part of the Sip and Paint experience. This created an odd mood shift, as I was expecting a more vibrant, art-focused crowd. While it may just be a matter of my expectations, it did feel a bit disjointed. Now, let’s talk about the food. We ordered three tapas: chicken wings, lamb kofta, and squid. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. For £15, I expected a bit more than just two chicken wings and two lamb kofta served on a dollop of sauce. The squid was decent, but definitely on the dry side. Given the price, the portion sizes felt very underwhelming. After finishing the tapas, we still felt hungry, so we ordered chips and halloumi fries. Unfortunately, the portions for these were also small. By this point, we were so discouraged that we decided against ordering any main dishes. It felt like the event was more of a money-making scheme than an enjoyable dining experience. Another frustrating aspect was the cash-only policy. In a world where card payments are the norm, I found this quite inconvenient, especially since it wasn't clearly mentioned on the menu. Additionally, for those who have dietary restrictions (like avoiding pork or beef), the menu lacked a decent variety of options, which seemed quite limited. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and attentive, and I appreciated the cleanliness of the facilities, especially the restrooms, which had nice amenities for women. Overall, while the Sip and Paint idea is fun, the execution at Nostrano Lounge left much to be desired. The food quality and portion sizes need significant improvement, and a more cohesive atmosphere would enhance the experience. If they can address these issues, there’s potential for a fantastic event.

Have been to this lovely place a number of times over the years. Recently I’m really enjoying the veggie breakfast and have ordered it a few times (I’m not vegetarian). Highly recommend it, and compliments to the chef. The service staff are always so accommodating and asks about food allergies from the get go. Would be great if more restaurants are attentive to that.

Most disgusting breakfast I've ever had! Loud music on Sunday morning, order by the bar only, orange juice served with ice which I've never asked for, not cooked egg, small portion, terrible sausage, cheap and low quality ingredients, £46 for disgusting breakfast for 3 people, never again!

Came here a few weeks ago and put vinegar on my chips then noticed loads of bugs/ flies on my plate and realised they were all in the bottle, my friend went and complained at the bar. I came back today hoping for better as a complaint was made previously so hopefully they had rectified it and I enjoy the food in here, asked for vinegar to put on my chips, saw a fly floating around in the bottle, asked for another one and spotted about ten flies in it. Spoke to another member of staff and asked for a whole new one, received that and spotted something floating around in it as-well(photo attached)! They have taken all the bottles away to clean now but only after two different complaints. While eating my meal had multiple different types of flies buzzing around my head and they only had the front door open. Absolutely disgusted put me off my food will not be coming back as obviously food safety standards such as regular checking and cleaning of condiments are not enforced. Very upsetting

Ate here as part of a stay at the hotel - lovely food, great portion size. I had the beef rib and it was absolutely delicious. The crumble was lovely too. Only suggestion for better service would be prompter removal of plates from previous courses - but this is nitpicking!

This is the second restaurant at the Runnymede hotel, located overlooking Bell Weir Lock. When we visited in December 2021 we enjoyed a fantastic high tea. The staff were fabulous and helpful, consistent with our entire Runnymede hotel experience. The Lock has an area for dining overlooking the river, and a more casual lounge area. Plus an outdoor area for summer. Thank you to all the staff for a fantastic experience.

If you're on the lookout for a delightful dining experience, look no further than Prezzo Italian Restaurant Egham. This casual Italian chain is renowned for its mouthwatering stone-baked pizzas and classic pasta dishes, making it a perfect spot for families and friends alike. With an enticing kids' menu available, it's an ideal choice for those dining with little ones. Guests often rave about the friendly staff who enhance the welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant.
I've had a great experience at this place. The food was good with a reasonable price. The place has a lot of active offers that you can use such as: 3-Course deals, 2-Course deals, student offers and 30% off all the time. I really liked how nice and friendly the staff was.

We arrived for an early dinner so had no problems with parking. Baby high chairs were clean. Good deal kids menu. Kids pizza looked delicious. However, my chicken Caesar salad was dry. The desserts are not homemade which is a real shame. We received a quick and friendly service though.

Lovely decor, excellent service, and really enjoyed a family meal here. Liked the pasta and meatballs especially, but felt it was a bit pricey for what it was. Easy to find off of Egham high street.

After 2 attempts (1st being deliveroo not actually delivering) the reorder was awful. Missing items, paid for large fries & not a large, 3 ravioli for an obscene cost and a 'kids' bolognese with no sauce/meat, basically a bowl as big as an adults head of just spaghetti. Would NEVER use egham again. Never had this issue with Staines site.

The Beehive in Egham is a traditional pub with a typical interior and beer garden, owned by a brewery. It offers a pub menu with daily specials, including seafood options like dressed crab, shell-on prawns, and lobster. Located near the Bishopsgate entrance of Windsor, this historic public house dates back to 1780. The restaurant also serves Italian cuisine and is known for its pizza.
We visited for the seafood weekend, this pub never disappoints. The food was exceptional, as was the wine list. It felt like being on holiday with the sun shining in their pub garden area with such delicious fish, fizz and rose. Can’t wait to visit again!

August 2024: I felt compelled to re-review this gastropub and reduced it 3.5 stars but giving 4 here. Why? My hot seafood platter at £55 was very disappointing. 6 white baits and calamari that tasted of batter only. The half lobster was overcooked and rubbery. The best thing in that platter was the cod cheek. Tasted very good. I waited a while for this seafood weekend. And it was disappointing. If I were to go again it wouldn’t be for the platter. The sea bream was superb. And the white baits starter was worth it! Next time I’d get a 4 starts and that would still be cheaper than the platter and portion size would be so much more. The lobster here wasn’t worth it unfortunately. Service was 3.5-4 stars. It was a bit slow considering it wasn’t busy. It’s like we were an afterthought. A lady of age was so much better. I recommended this pub to so many of my connections and I was going to make this our regular. However after this second visit…. I don’t know. I’m now unconvinced and it’s a shame. I just feel disappointed that it’s a hit and miss. And I feel bad for recommending it. Maybe I’ll give it another go before deciding for sure. We had the platter, fish and chips, bream as main, white baits starter, 1 dessert, 2 teas was over £126 (including service). October 2023: I’m giving it all 5 stars eventhough it could be better because nothing is perfect right? Example the service could be better because the girl looked shell shocked when we arrived and said I’ve booked a table for 3. Even our son noticed it and kept asking us why was she surprised as he could see our names in the book. But after that a lady of age was super nice. Top notch customer service. Atmosphere should just be 4.5 because it’s a bit shabby chic inside and out. However, perhaps that’s the charm. It’s cosy. It’s ok. Food - this is where they excelled. I went there because of the reviews. It’s very very good. We had 2 starters, tea for 2, 3 mains and 1 dessert. With tip, just under £96. So not bad. I’d definitely recommend the beetroot salad with goats cheese. It has hazelnuts in it. The burger came medium rare so ask if you’d like it cooked more. We weren’t asked but we also forgot to ask. Everything - delicioso!!

New chef. Adjusting food and overall rating from 5 to 3. Might have been unlucky, but having dined here many times before, this visit was nowhere near the usual standard. The roast beef, which was previously tasty, rare, and succulent, was tough and noticeably less flavoursome. The roast potatoes were an improvement, but ultimately the beef matters more.

This is an honest review.... I was optimistic about this place when I made this order. Thinking it's giving 40% off £25, called the restaurant to double check they are halal and seemed friendly and helpful at the time. I also called again after making my order to let them know that to make it fresh and it is my first order with them. At the time they seemed friendly. However after making my order at 18:45 It turned to 20:05. Called the restaurant 3x since I made the order, during the last two calls I was asking where the food is and why it's taking so long. The staff member apologised about the delay and said it will be 5 minutes more. Another 15 mins later, my wife called on the 5th call and complained but the said the driver is finding the address and then wife goes it doesn't take 20minutes to find address. They said they will call back with an update. A few moments after the delivery arrived. I did complain to the driver and he said he left the restaurant long after the receptionist said the driver is on his way. So they lied to me on the phone saying they are on there way. Food review: If you want desert for a main order paneer tikka masala, it was over dosed with sugar and was sickening. The naga curry was extremely hot and the lamb palak had only a few strands of palak. I'm sorry but this is my first and last with herbs and spices. Also my network of people will recieve this honest review of herbs and spice. Not looking good for you guys at all.

Order was delivered just short of 2 hours after order placed. ALL of the food was cold. We ordered 2 chicken grills which it stated came with fresh naan, salad and chips with a mint sauce. There was no salad whatsoever. I took this up with FoodHub who contacted the store who actually lied and said the order was delivered in its entirety. We have been ordering from this take away for some time staying loyal when items have been missed. But tonight was appalling!!! We won’t be using them again. Not even an apology
Catherine H — Google review
The owner and staff are friendly. The food was very nice for a takeaway and reasonably priced. If you want something extra spicy, just ask—they'll gladly accommodate your request. Although the lamb curry was slightly oily, I'll definitely order again.

Wish I could rate this -5. I had ordered 1 chicken Balti & 1 Lamb Madras. Attached is the bill, I have been charged correctly. However have been given 2 chicken Balti. The lamb dish was expected to be spicy, however this is horribly sweet. Only 1 bite, and the rest went straight into the bin. Called the restaurant, only apologies and an offer for a replacement gravy given. Asked to refund, avoided stating 8 orders pending in kitchen which is priority hence the guy needs to hang up. Ridiculous customer experience !!

I've recently found this amazing place after having tried nearly all Indian restaurants/takeaways in Slough. The food is always fresh, with great care taken by the team. When you order from Uber Eats, it's actually the owners of the business that deliver the food to you! So you know it will be the best it can be. I'm a future customer for the foreseeable future for sure. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.

Initially this review was one ⭐️ - The phone number doesn’t work - had been trying to call to ask about the delivery of my food order via Just Eat BUT Then my order arrived - food was a good temperature - didn’t require reheating. Every dish was so tasty, the rice and naan were 10/10. If I was being overly critical I’d say the lamb curry was too oily and if you’re giving customers papadums then mango chutney and pickle would be nice (note I didn’t order papadums - they were included or added as complimentary) still the best papadums I’ve ever had, delivered - unbroken, not dry and not oily. The whole order was so good - I will defo order from here again 👏🏽

Haweli Egham is an exquisite eatery situated in the vicinity. It was suggested by an acquaintance and I decided to give it a shot. Upon entering, I immediately felt a warm reception. The service was exceptional, the seating comfortable, and there was a cozy ambiance throughout. I requested the waiter's recommendation for a mildly spicy dish, and he certainly delivered. The Naga Lamb is highly recommended for all patrons; it truly deserves five stars.
I visited this restaurant for the first time. I have to say that having visited many Indian restaurants over the years, this is one of the best I have come across. Amazing music and atmosphere, I have made amazing memories sitting here with my friends and sharing a delicious meal. I have seen this place pick up over the years and I am so glad they are gaining more recognition. It was once a little gem but I am glad it has opened up to a wider audience! One time I wasn’t happy with the dish I got (personal preference) and the manager of the store let me pick another dish free of charge. This is not to say he does this always (please don’t go and do this!) but its to show how much importance they take in building and sustaining relationships with customers. Thank you STS, I have graduated now but I will continue to recommend you to future students/members of Egham!

This is a truly wonderful deli serving great food in very pleasant surroundings. Can recommend any of the breakfast dishes with eggs, particularly the eggs with bacon on ciabatta. The bacon is the best I’ve ever tasted. As for the pistachio cannolis. They’re just divine. Good service, great coffee and reasonably priced

Superb deli and cafe. Lots of home made tasty lunch options. Delicious food and huge variety of products Inclusing pastries, meats, cheeses and biscuits. The tiramisu and taralli are favourites. This is an absolute gem in Egham.

Lovely local spot! Friendly owner and staff, their student meal is the best! If you are a student for £3.29~ you get a pizza Slice, cannoli and a drink! And students get 10% off of everything in store. They do stock up on Italian snacks. Their coffee is a must try! With their custom blend it’s divine! Food hear is bloody delicious! I go here often!

Great food, stopped there for breakfast, was initially going to go somewhere else in Egham but it just so happens this was closer to the car. So grateful it was, because their breakfast and coffee was delicious, decent prices too and last but not least staff were really friendly. Highly recommend this place 👍🏽

This was my first time in the deli and I thought I’d found a beautiful friendly place to have decent food at a reasonable price. It’s definitely not that, i certainly won’t be wasting my money on a main meal the size of a starter and to be out in a bad mood just for asking a question. The girl that served me looked like I was putting her out, not a smile on any of the staffs faces. The 1 start is for the little food I got that was very basic but tasty, I make nicer meals at home. Shame the staff aren’t friendlier and the portion were bigger for the money they charge.

My favourite place to eat. The sandwiches are freshly made and incredible, everything feels authentic and delicious. Family owned and beautifully run. This should be the no. 1 attraction in egham.

I recently visited STS Italian Deli multiple times and was impressed with the quality of their coffee and cakes. The coffee was rich and flavorful, and the cakes were delectable and satisfying. I highly recommend giving STS Italian Deli a try for anyone looking for a delicious treat.
