German restaurant
Wilma Wunder is a versatile establishment with two locations in Mainz, offering a blend of bistro cafe, city restaurant, and lounge bar. It provides a cozy and welcoming atmosphere for patrons to enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner, or evening drinks. The venue features indoor seating as well as outdoor dining options. Additionally, it caters to various dietary preferences including vegetarian and vegan dishes.
A very busy but efficient restaurant in the market area of Mainz. It was busy on a Saturday afternoon but the staff seated people very promptly. The drinks were unique with fresh fruit water and elevated cocktails. The special pumpkin risotto with vegetable chips was creamy and full of pumpkin and walnuts. The ravioli was filled with smoked salmon and had a creamy sauce. The spinach soup was finished with a soft egg and accompanied with crispy bread. Beef goulash had a rich sauce with red cabbage and spatzele. The end of the meal was a wonderful apple streudel with vanilla bourbon sauce. Perfect meal in a beautiful city.

the service is delightful! we had a bridal shower dinner there and they helped us a lot! the place was also sooo beautiful. the meals for lunch-dinner are okay. i believe this place is more suited for brunches so i would love to come back to try that!

Wilma Wunder in Mainz has a great vibe - bright, cozy, directly at the Market Square and perfect for a casual meal or brunch with friends. The food was fresh and nicely done and the drinks were spot-on. Service can get a bit slow when it is busy but everyone is friendly and the atmosphere makes up for it. Solid spot overall.

The view from the terrace is beautiful, it's a great start to the experience you get here. The staff is friendly and hard working, the food is delicious and the beer is divine. I will be back again for brunch when I visit the wonderful country next. My only "complaint" would be the wifi keeps dropping
Foxy — Google review
We were seated quickly. Food was served pretty fast. Waiter keeps on checking on us ensuring everything is ok. Overall, cosy place with good food.

Good food and servers were friendly. Great view too. Lots of smoking outside.

Got scammed at this restaurant. I ordered just one main course and one drink, namely Lachs-Spinat-Nudeln (15,90€) and Blaubeer-Basilikum-Limo (6,80€). When I asked for the bill, I was told to pay 29,50€ and I didn’t pay too much attention so I just paid with my card. However I did ask for the receipt. When I got back to the hotel and checked my receipt again, I realised the waitress only gave me my credit card payment receipt, NOT the receipt with my orders. It was missing a corner too. Then I remember this restaurant has online menus so I just looked up and checked, the sum of my two orders would ONLY be 22,70€. I DID NOT offer to tip! I hope this was a mistake but to all the tourists, please be extra careful! The food was delicious though.
Prudence K — Google review
Great place to get German cuisine but in a little more refined and creative style! As I’m not German, I can’t really speak how that German dish I had really fits into German taste buds, but both for me, my parents and friends from abroad, the food was really great! Huge appreciation for vegan variants of German dishes!! Finally I could taste something German while being on vegan diet 😍 Big plus for really great coordination of servers and handling our reservation, while the restaurant was totally full. Maybe tiny minus for the place being really loud, the tables are very close to each other, we had little trouble chatting, but nothing not manageable :) Loved it and will return!

Nestled in the charming Gaustrasse, Dicke Lilli, gutes Kind is a delightful vintage-chic café that has been captivating locals and visitors alike since 2012. Owned by Vera and her team, this cozy spot offers a mouthwatering selection of breakfast options, light lunches, and an impressive array of cakes—perfect for those with a sweet tooth. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, reminiscent of gathering in your own living room.
We had brunch and I ordered the Avo Great Day. It was delicious. The cappuccino was perfect, very well made 👌🏼

I considered this experience a waste of my time and money unfortunately, although I heard a lot about this place. I had the vincent vegan breakfast. The scrambled tofu had dry taste of just curry, and nothing else. The Hummos was just mashed chickpeas with tahini, no lemon, no garlic, no olive oil and not even salt. The avocado was unfortunately also so dull and boring. My plate with or without it wouldn’t change a bit. The salad part of the dish was minimal too, had a good dressing tho. Service was kind :3 no complaints about that. And the tram that was passing by is just a mood killer. I know the place couldn’t do much about it but if you want to go there for outdoors time, keep that in mind. Maybe the cake would’ve been delicious (they looked dope) but I was so disappointed by then to try anything else.

Jedzenie nie smakowa. I would give 3,5 but can’t, and I would give it only cause of staff. There were adorable and helpful. Food was really basic, nothing new and kinda too expensive for that plate.

Cappuccino and chocolate-strawberry cake taste very well. In addition staffs are lovely and funny ☕️ 🍰. I definitely remember the funny words of funny waiter “ Kuchen in der Küche“ 🤣🤣🤣

This is a very cute cafe in Mainz close to the city center. It’s always very lively inside and they offer daily specials in addition to what’s on the menu. They have a range of vegetarian and vegan options for breakfast and lunch and dinner as well as vegan dessert. The best part is they don’t charge extra for vegan milk alternatives. They clearly state that almost everything is made by the restaurant itself and ingredients like eggs or milk come from local farms in the region. The bread comes from bàckerei vetter in Mainz altstadt. The coffee beans are also from the Mainz kaffeerösterei amori coffee.

Very nice place to take a good breakfast/brunch. I had scrumbbled eggs and a yogurt, my friend had the jam and cheese plate and both were very delicious. Only "but" was that at the end the staff was so busy that did not appear again so we had to go to the bar to ask for another drink. But in general I liked the place, the staff was very friendly and the food was good. For sure I will come back.

Cafe
Coffee shop
Hygge, located in Mainz's Neustadt, is a cozy and charming café that offers high-quality coffee, delicious cakes, and a weekly changing lunch menu prepared by the skilled chef Marie. The café exudes a warm and welcoming atmosphere similar to the cute bistros and coffee shops found in Copenhagen. It caters to both vegetarians and meat eaters with innovative dishes at student-friendly prices.
Sooo good. I was there for brunch with a friend and it was delicious. My meal was so good and the chai was tasty. And it’s so cozy. The prices are good and they gave me extra bread and condiments for free, which is unusually wonderful. I was actually full! There are a lot of vegetarian and vegan options. My only minus is that there’s no plugs so if you want to study here, you can’t charge your devices. But for reading or writing or anything else, it’s lovely. And dogs are welcome. All the dishes and cakes looked incredible. I would definitely come again!
N. G — Google review
Cute and cozy little cafe very near to the Mainz main station. The cake we tried was yummy, and perfect for our taste buds. The coffee and hot chocolate, both hit the correct notes for us. The lady who served us was patient, and let us know all the options to choose from. All in all, we had a wonderful time, and would love to go in again for breakfast.
Sameer K — Google review
I was at Hygge for lunch and must say that I was very satisfied with the cozy and relaxing atmosphere. The Couscous dish that I had was delicious and the staff was very friendly and nice. The breakfast at Hygge is also very recommendable. The restaurant is super close to Mainz Main Station, which is convenient. Additionally, you can pay by card if you spend over 10€.

Stumble upon here because the café we want to go have an afternoon break. Very friendly staff, lovely food, comfortable seating. Their Chai Latte is just appropriate. Will definitely come here again if there's a chance to drop by Mainz

The staff is known for being friendly, making it an inviting place to enjoy a cappuccino or meet someone for a meal. While the food is generally good, some caution against wasps during summer months.
It's great! The food? Yummy! The staff? Friendly and sharp! The Cafe? Clean and just lovely to be in! Overall it's a 5/5 in every aspect! I'll definitely come again with company!

Cute little cafe, with large and delicious breakfast selection, in the middle of Mainzer Neustadt. The Kaffe is nicely decorated and the staff is very friendly. I especially liked the cold coffee, which is ideal for summer.

Wonderful new cafe with outdoor seating and everything „to go.“ I was so happy to see that they have vegan milk and even delicious vegan cake/desserts. The coffee is super delicious- with a strong special aroma. They have vegan food as well. The staff is always super friendly! It’s open on Sunday’s which is so awesome.

Stopped by for an Americano and found the service and setting excellent. The coffee was well balanced and served at what I consider the correct temperature, hot but not so much that you wait a long time before you can enjoy it.
Sal F — Google review
The food is good. The platters to share are a lot of food, you won't leave hungry, but drinks (coffee, tea) are small for their price. Service was nice, but waiters should be more attentive. Overall all a very nice place, I highly recommend getting breakfast here. Beware of the wasps during summer!

Cafe Extrablatt Mainz Schillerplatz is located in a historically rich area, surrounded by baroque and rococo palaces. The cafe offers an exceptional breakfast experience with a spacious interior and attentive service. It is situated next to the Mainzer Fastnachtsbrunnen, a towering fountain adorned with 200 bronze figures dedicated to the city's carnival celebrations. The cafe provides a relaxed atmosphere for enjoying local and international dishes, including options for vegetarians.
I was there with my mom and sister. We ordered several things and liked them all. The servers were really kind and sweet. We told them that we weren't informed that the fries with the burger would be charged extra, so she offered us a free latte machiato :) Just one suggestion I felt like the pizza had too much bbq sauce maybe add a lil less sauce next time :)

A very beautiful place, and a great location. It is in the city centre, but still kind of peaceful, a lovely small fontaine and a small park just in front of it. The surrounding buildings are historical and just pretty to watch and enjoy them. The waiters are lovely, nice and with a warm smile on the face all the time, the food I tried is good (see picture) and maybe the best coffee in Mainz (in my opinion). I am new in Mainz, but I would definitely recommend the place. The only thing I really did not like is the Toilette, it was dirty and smelly.
Dzenis I — Google review
Great location in a beautiful square. The place was very busy and the service was slow, however, the food came out hot and tasty. The drink concoctions were delicious.
Chris E — Google review
The schnitzel is really terrible, burnt and dry as you can see from the photo. It's a very dirty place, there are insects crawling around in the menus they leave on the tables. Moreover, the people working there are very rude and disrespectful. It's a shame that there is such a terrible place in such a beautiful location. disgusting.
Ekim — Google review
The coffee is very delicious and aroma is satisfactory. I tried Cafe Latte with double shots, and was quite tasty.

Nice location + cheap drinks during happy hour but people were quite rude. I understand that during saturday it is quite busy but it is not an excuse that they throw up pur orders on the table like without respect and education.

Café Dinges Mainz has a rich history, dating back to 1862 when it was opened by the master confectioner Georg Dinges. Despite its somewhat secluded location, visitors are greeted warmly and can enjoy a variety of breakfast options and delicious cakes. The staff is known for being friendly and accommodating, adding to the overall pleasant experience. While electronic payments are not accepted, the quality coffee and welcoming atmosphere make it a worthwhile stop in Mainz.

WOODS, located on Rheinstrasse, is a popular spot known for its sustainable and high-quality cuisine. The cafe offers a pleasant atmosphere with friendly staff and a good selection of coffee and home-baked cakes. Customers appreciate the delicious food, including waffles and breakfast options, as well as the relaxing ambiance. Reservations are recommended due to its popularity. Overall, WOODS provides a great place to enjoy quality food and drinks in a welcoming environment.
The cakes, delicious. The latte, delicious. But what struck me most was the warmth of the place and the owner. The decor is very neat and warm, and the owner is so smiley that you immediately feel welcome and at ease in this coffee shop. What's more, the coffee shop is a little away from the centre, so I get the impression that it's quieter and more intimate, which is really nice :)) It deserves to be even better known !
Manolie S — Google review
Super cute place with ok/pretty good food. But beware that your reservation, unbeknownst to you, is time limited. They will kick you out if a reservation follows you, even if there is plenty of other space open for the other party. We got kicked out after 2 hours even though we had only shortly finished our food and were just finishing up our drinks. Being informed ahead of time we would get asked to leave so quickly would have been nice. Our group had to find another place last minute to finish up our conversation. Also, it's a bit pricey for the quality of food. Probably wouldn't have mattered on price had we not been kicked out so quickly. Oh and, I had to provide my credit card number just to reserve the table!! I wouldn't go back or recommend this place to anyone.
Elizabeth W — Google review
The entire reason I chose this restaurant was to order some waffles. I arrived right when they opened at 10.00 and yet somehow they were already completely full. They offered me the couch and when I tried to order the waffles, the server told me they don’t serve waffles until 12.00 “because the waffle iron needs time to warm up”. How a breakfast restaurant can’t serve waffles until noon is beyond me and the reasoning offered is absolutely ridiculous. Instead I ordered toasts which were objectively disappointing.

Lovely place, my favorite in Mainz! Cozy yet elegant atmosphere, nice service, coffee and cake! For me It is a calm Location (to reflect and chill). Even during the weekend when its busier, it is still very pleasant.
Ioanna M — Google review
Very chill peeps there, I luv the outdoor seating. The menu is also pretty solid, there’s (luckily) lots of vegan options, the cakes are scrumptious and the iced coffees are great as well. Service can take quite a while but it actually depends on how packed it is, so let’s be honest it’s understandable and the staff is still kind and good at managing orders. Always worth a visit
Dr. G — Google review
Very cozy coffee shop. I really liked the patio seating by the fountain outside but the inside has comfy chairs. They can do table service if you dine in but you can also just order and pay at the counter. It seems very popular with the hipster crowd but based on my experience it can be a welcoming place for anyone. The two baristas were both cheerful and patient with my not-good German. The menu is very vegan friendly - there are vegan options for sandwiches and baked goods, and there’s oat milk for drinks. I got a Blumenkohl panini, a Mandelkuchen, and a Chai Latte. I was a fan of the panini, the smashed cauliflower in was actually very flavourful with curry-esque spices. No complaints on the latte. The Mandelkuchen fell short of my expectations, I thought it was on the dry side, although the strong almond flavour was nice. If I had been able to see a cross section of this before I ordered, I would’ve gotten something else - the cake hadn’t been cut into yet when I ordered. The other cake slices looked better. Everything is priced reasonably - my total was about €14. It’s the kind of place I’d probably go to all the time if I lived here.
Dana S — Google review
Small, cozy coffee shop with several vegan food options like cake and sandwiches. Staff isn’t particularly friendly, but the atmosphere is nice. In addition to coffee, they also serve beer.

Have to try their carrot cake! Can’t miss this one! Moistness and sweetness just at the right spot! Pair it with the Apfelschorle for refreshment and trust me, it’s filling enough to be a meal. My partner had the other cake (right). Not sure what that was and if it was good. But he seemed to like my carrot cake more because he ordered another piece of carrot cake after his one was done.

Nestled in the heart of Mainz's Neustadt, Das Krokodil is a beloved pub that has become a local favorite not just for its vibrant atmosphere but also for its exceptional breakfast offerings. With a surprisingly diverse menu, this charming establishment has built a reputation for culinary delights since it opened under its current name in the 1980s. The cozy ambiance makes it an ideal spot for both casual hangouts and special occasions, especially on weekends or Valentine's Day when reservations are recommended.
A vegan schnitzel could be a great new addition please ?
Fernanda J — Google review
So — unfortunately, while my friend and I were traveling through Germany a few weeks back, we came across the Krokodil pretty early in our trip. This was unfortunate, of course, because it set such a hard-to-beat standard that the other pubs couldn’t quite match. The beer was excellent — some of the best I’ve had at a pub — I believe it was the Augustiner Hell that we tried. The food was solid for a pub as well. If you’re expecting a fine-dining, five-star restaurant (as it appears some here were), then you might be disappointed — but that’s kinda on you. The atmosphere and overall experience were great, and the staff was friendly too. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for good beer and a good time.

Quaint pub that is very unassuming from the outside. Walked past it for two weeks going to work when I first moved here. My wife and I stopped in for dinner and brought our dog with us. No issues with the dog there. The schnitzel was perfect. There are a few ways to choose from, I went with the mushroom and gravy variety. My wife had the potato soup. Also very good, had a tinge of mustard flavor. We went back for breakfast and we were not disappointed.

The cozy atmosphere with vintage furniture and a lovely outdoor area makes it a popular spot for locals and visitors alike. Known for its delicious breakfast options, including the breakfast for two and single breakfast menus that come with beverages, this café is a must-visit.
Usually I used to come here for ice cream. They just have delicious ice cream at this place. But recently, I tried a pizza for the first time. Also amazing. But careful; quite heavy. We've been fighting heavily to finish 2 pizzas with 2 people. 😊

The food is good, no doubt! However, the waitress is very rude, I can’t believe what just happened to me! While we were still enjoying our crepes, one waitress walked by our table and put a reservation note on it, then she said, more like a statement rather than a request, the table will be occupied in an hour…with me and my friend, no difference with any other customer, still using the table! So sad! Won’t recommend it to my friends…

We were there for a Sunday breakfast. We enjoy sitting outside having a vast breakfast with fast and nice service, ending with a tasty piece of cake from the big selection they offer. I definitely recommend it!

We had the breakfast for 2, which is around 20€ in total. Single breakfast menus include a beverage and are ~10€. Location is nice, and they are locally known for their cakes, so you should defenitely try one for dessert.

Located in the heart of Mainz near the impressive Dom, Dom-Café is a renowned establishment dating back to 1792, making it one of Germany's oldest cafes. Emphasizing quality and sustainability, the café offers a diverse breakfast selection and an array of beverages including classic coffee options as well as specialty drinks like Latte Macchiato and Cappuccino.
The best cake in the world is in Germany. And at least out of the places I’ve been in Germany, Dom-Café has the best cake in Germany. We’ve been here three times and each time we come to Mainz we always plan to come here. The seasonal cake selection is excellent and each time the cake we have tried has been really wonderful. The coffee is good and the staff are friendly and responsive. This place is always busy!

One of the few traditional coffee and cake spots in Mainz. Amazing location with a lot of outdoor seating (indoor too) with a view of the market square. A large variety of fresh, traditional cakes. If you get any fruit cakes that don't come with cream, ask for it. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is I do not like the coffee there.
James R — Google review
We stopped by spontaneously and found great seats in front of the market Platz. Sadly the breakfast is only offered until 10 o’clock. This cafe is super popular with nice food and cake. The waitress were busy but still very friendly and considerate. We took the “cake of month”., which can be truly recommended.
Chou S — Google review
This could be the best café in Mainz, catering to both locals and tourists. Over 100 years of tradition, great location with a terrace overlooking the main square. Unfortunately, it closes at 6 pm. Every day. Except for Sunday, of course, because on Sundays, it's closed altogether. Sunny weather, warm evening? Crowds of people looking for a charming place to sit? The Sunday tradition of café breakfast or afternoon coffee&cake? "We don't care, go elsewhere." And the historic interior? Some ten years ago, they threw away the mid century furniture and overfilled the rooms with something new, boring, seemingly more stylish. They basically destroyed a valuable document of postwar Mainz.
Ct S — Google review
They refused to serve us due to "many people being also in the restaurant". However, they were quite nice to take the order of the german couple next to us that came after along with a few more tables that came after too. We are tourists and the lady was quite mean and not professional. If u have too many clients then as well hire more personal and her mistreatment was shown from the moment we request a table. The behaviour and treatment I would consider it quite racist (we are from argentina and clearly not german)
Keimy M — Google review
I can’t believe there are no reviews of this amazing cafe/cakeshop on Google. No one cakes is too many here. Ambience here is fantastic, indoor and out door seatings for whichever kinds of dining u prefer. I seemed to be the only Asian in the whole cafe, but they do not discriminate. Service staffs are friendly and understand English. The Extreme wide selection of cakes is what you have to try here! Black Forest cake = super fresh berries and cream, base of the cake is a biscuity crunchy sweet base that compliments the slight sourness of the berries. Dom special cake = recommended by the waitress, a special recipe cake by the cafe. Pistachio mousse, rum and biscuit base makes it amazing to go with tea or coffee. Beverages here are just normal, but the cakes are just amazing. So far the best cakes I’ve tried in the whole of Germany.

I think they are one of the best-known coffee shop in Mainz, and they deserve their fame ! We tried the brunch and it was just delicious. The dishes are visually stunning and very tasty. Lovely place to sit outside and enjoy the quiet street. The coffee is really good and plant-based milk is available without additional charge. Next time I will try one of the vegan cakes.
Maria B — Google review
Mediocre Café with disadvantages regarding staff and service. There's no feeling of being well served, yet young and "Berlinish"-big-city-small-location-vibes and a good enough breakfast-card do the heavy lifting here. You usually need to actively ask for service by visiting the inner frontdesk, resulting in being sent back to the table to keep waiting there for someone to check on you. On our last visit 6 employees were working in the kitchen area while no one was checking on the guest for several minutes. Plan in to at least stay for 45 minutes due to these delays. Coffee and drinks are well prepared yet seem to miss the final touch. Matcha is just the kinda sugarheavy powder version and coffee often isn't hot enough while arriving at your table. How to improve: Keep staff actively checking on guest needs available at all time and maybe set straight roles on where people work. Preheat coffee mugs to keep drinks hot. Put glutenfree cakes completely separated from non-glutenfree ones as allergies can be very sensitive.

Nice experience, ordered a turmeric latte and a ginger citrus lemonade plus a slice of chocolate cake that turned out to be huge - everything was great.

The location was great, staff very nice and drinks was amazing we will definitely recommend. Space was a bit small they offered free cups and you could buy a lot of gadgets from the shop. The waiting time was moderate and the staff were quite fast attending to customers A bit expensive but it worth the money

10 years ago it was not so good and overpriced, but accidentally I was there 1 week ago with my family just for the coffee and it was terrible. They absolutely don't know how to make a good coffee. My coffee late was not a coffee with milk, but milk with some coffee, and it was about 6,5 euros which is absolutely overpriced, like prices at the airport. I don't mind to pay for a good coffee but this one was terrible. Never come back here again and not recommended to anyone...6 euros for cup of milk...
Rommy L — Google review
I had a disappointing experience at this Starbucks location on July 5th around 6 PM. I ordered an iced latte, but was informed they were out of ice and that the drink would be made with cold milk from the fridge. I agreed, expecting at least a chilled drink. However, when I received my order, it was room temperature—not cold at all. I politely asked if it could be changed, and the response I received was unnecessarily rude. The staff member insisted that I was told it would be fridge temperature, but what I got was clearly not cold. Instead of simply resolving the issue, she argued with me and gave me attitude. Eventually, she did remake the drink, but the experience left a bad impression. It wasn’t about the drink itself, but the way the situation was handled. At most other Starbucks locations, they would have apologized and kindly changed it without making it uncomfortable—unfortunately, that was not the case here. Because of her behavior, I couldn’t even enjoy my coffee or my time there. A little kindness and professionalism would have made all the difference.
Parandis S — Google review
Bad coffee, super expensive (12e for a Frappuccino and an Espresso), the tables were not clean, no wifi and no bathroom (or you have to pay additionally for the public bathrooms of the trainstation). I’m glad competitors are going over Starbucks because it’s time for them to shut down .
Clara — Google review
Stopped by Starbucks on a Saturday morning hoping to get some work done with a good coffee and Wi-Fi. Bought a pricey coffee expecting the usual — only to find out there’s no internet at all. Had to use my mobile data, which was a hassle. To top it off, there’s no restroom available either. The staff was friendly, but honestly, for the price and the expectations, this was pretty disappointing.
Theresa M — Google review
There is no wifi, which defeats the sole purpose of this chain -- no offense to the employees and social media managers, who certainly seek cheaper coffee options in their free time Edit: sorry, you can forward this to your customer service yourselves 🤡 the wifi has been out for more than 3 months.

I visit this cute little café almost every Saturday to have a lactose free vanilla macchiato and sometimes I order something to eat as well. Such a cozy and charming spot! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff are truly some of the kindest I’ve encountered—fluent in both English and German, and always happy to help with a smile. They offer a lovely selection of muffins in all sizes, from small bites to larger, satisfying treats. The tea and coffee are also excellent, and there are even some light food options if you’re looking for a quick bite. What makes this place truly special is the view: you can sit outside, sip your tea or coffee, and watch the trams pass right by your chair. The atmosphere and service were good however i was not happy with the food. The quality of the ingredients was good but the taste was not acceptable. My Eggs Royal had too much Hollondaise sauce, I couldn’t taste anything else than the sauce. I told it to the waiter but they couldn’t do anything about it. It was the first time of my life to have more than half of the portion being sauce. My matcha latte was acceptable but they didn’t used a better grade. All in all i don’t recommend going here, good service can’t compensate bad food.

This is hands down my favorite cafe in Mainz! It’s super cozy, the owner is incredibly friendly and their selection of food and coffee is wonderful. They are the best place in Mainz to eat vegan AND gluten-free dishes, especially for breakfast. The owner is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to vegan and gluten-free options (if you eat vegan/gluten-free, you know how important this is 🙏🏻) and there is such a wide selections of things. It’s always incredibly fresh and delicious. I love the smoothie bowls, oat meal, and bagels! The coffee is really good as well. Super cozy atmosphere with fresh flowers and comfy chairs. I’d give 6 stars if I could! ⭐️

Cute and cozy little cafe with delicious breakfast options. The coffee and cake are also great and the staff is very kind.

So far the best coffee shop in Mainz, the food is delicious and they have veggie options, the drinks are in a top level, is not located in the main square of the city so you don't need to worry about the crowd, perfect to have a talk with a friend or just to sit to read your favorite book.

I recommend this place for breakfast the attention was very good. The atmosphere is very chill and the quality of the food was excellent.
Deni W — Google review
Delicious coffee and an excellently prepared homemade bagel with a well-dressed salad. The highlight though was the service. I was in desperate need of a place to take a video meeting and though this place wasn't ideal because of schedule and size, they kindly recommended a location that was perfect. Extremely kind, and reason enough for me to return as soon as possible when a meeting isn't my primary concern.

Coffee Fellows - Kaffee, Bagels, Frühstück is a suitable choice for those seeking refreshments at a train station cafe. The beverage was satisfactory and the staff exhibited an amicable demeanor. Several pleasant seating areas were available, though it should be noted that crowding can occur during peak hours. Notably, their provision of wifi earned high praise and set them apart from other coffee shops in the city lacking this amenity. The quality and price of the drink were acceptable.
Good for a train station café. My drink was good and the staff was friendly. There were a couple nice spots to sit. Can easily become crowded during rush times.

I walked into this café by chance and honestly, I loved it. The coffee was delicious!!! ☕️ one of those that doesn’t need anything extra.. I also had a bagel and it was super tasty, perfect to go with the coffee. 🥯🥯🥯Extra points for the service too: Ana Paula was really kind, super attentive, and just had a great vibe!!! It’s always nice when you feel well taken care of, I’ll definitely be coming back 🩷🩷

Nestled in the heart of Mainz, Nostos is a delightful café that captures the essence of Greek coffee culture. With its inviting atmosphere and friendly staff, including charming team members like Vasiliki and Emanuela, visitors are treated to an exceptional experience. The café serves quality Fredo Cappuccinos and Freddo Espressos that transport you straight to Greece.
We are regular customers. It's our favorite place in Mainz.

Such a beautiful atmosphere and amazing cappuccino. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend.
Cansın A — Google review
I can review the two cakes I ate: they don’t taste as good as they look, and they are certainly not fresh. I expected a better quality for how amazing everything looks on the outside. In addition, I have to say that the girl that gave us the cakes had a very bad attitude, she was annoyed because we took a couple of minutes to decide what we wanted to order. I cannot recommend.
Michelle C — Google review
Quality Fredo Cappuccino, friendly staff that makes your mood. The redhead girl helped me choose, made the sweetness of the store follow me on my way back home

I love the lemonade here and the sweets are really good at a great price! Nice spot to wait for your train near römisches Theater.
