Breakfast restaurant
Nestled in the vibrant 12 South district, The Butter Milk Ranch is a charming small-batch bakery and restaurant that has become a beloved destination for pastry enthusiasts. With its inviting mid-century modern decor and warm hues, this boutique spot draws crowds eager to savor their classic croissants and innovative laminated pastries crafted by talented chefs. Known for their exceptional baking skills, the team at Yolan and DAndrews Bakery & Cafe has garnered recognition from the esteemed James Beard Foundation.
Visited The Butter Milk Ranch with a few friends on a Wednesday afternoon, and it was packed, but for good reason! We waited about 20 minutes for a table, and it was absolutely worth it. The pastries alone are worth the trip. I could eat plates of their buttery beignets all day. I had the Forager Omelette, which was surprisingly flavorful and filling despite the smaller portion, and the buttermilk pancakes were a huge hit at our table. As a plant lover, I was especially charmed by the interior, lush greenery everywhere, with shelves of plants lining the walls. It gave the space such a warm, welcoming vibe. A wonderful spot for brunch in Nashville. I’ll definitely be back!

This was my first time here with my mom, and we had the best experience! Ryan was our server, and he was so friendly and helpful. He was also attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, recommending a few popular items. We got taste of the case, and the pastries were delicious. The biscuits were flaky and soft, and the jams and apple butter were some of the best we’ve had. The pumpkin chocolate chip muffin had a cream cheese filling, and it was soft and fluffy. The croissants? Amazing and super flaky!! I also ordered the foragers omelette while my mom got the buttermilk road breakfast, and our food was hot and quick to arrive. Definitely a new favorite spot!

This was one of the places that the locals suggested we visit while we were visiting Nashville. And it did not disappoint. The food was spectacular. I got the Benedict's and the pork belly and it was so good. There were so many other wonderful options. Obviously I just couldn't try them. All. Service was great. Seating was a little bit crammed but the ambiance was fabulous. There's live plants everywhere and other decor really great. Would definitely visit again if in Nashville. I did not feel like the prices were outrageous. We paid about 48 bucks for two of us.

I finally made it to the buttermilk ranch, after living in Nashville for over 6 years. I finally was able to go at 8am (when they open) on a Thursday morning, in order to avoid the droves of tourists that frequent this place. It actually makes me mad that this place is inaccessible to locals as the food is really good and the tourists don’t deserve to get full reign over it. I didn’t realize that there were two parts to this place - a coffee and pastry counter and bar and then a full service restaurant. There were the most stunning plants and decor all I’ve the restaurant that I was in awe of. The service was really great, as our server was very known about the menu and all of the top items we should try. The food was really great - but the lemon beignets really took the show. They were even incredible as leftovers the next day. The biscuits were also really great - during the meal and as leftovers. The potatoes were a little dry, but the items served with them made up for it. I also got a snickerdoodle iced coffee that was delectable. My friend got the loaded ranch potatoes that she really enjoyed and the sausage balls which were also good. My breakfast sandwich had the crispiest bacon and was fantastic. I just wish this wasn’t located in 12 south so that more locals could go regularly.
Alex K — Google review
I don’t typically like bustling crowds and loud spaces (and I don’t really wait more than 30min for a table). We waited 1.5 hrs for this table and though it was a bustling atmosphere the wait was well worth it. The food was very yummy. And our server (Cara I think her name was) was super sweet. She came frequently to check on us and was super helpful with the menu. The service was awesome and the food was delicious and tasted fresh. It is expensive so I definitely wouldn’t go often because it is more about the experience, but we enjoyed it and would recommend at least trying out the pastries if you are traveling from out of town. Our favorite thing on the menu were the beignets. Chefs kiss. But we also got eggs, house bacon, The BMR sandwich, and the Nashville sunrise drinks. All yummy. O and those potato’s on the side. Those were phenomenal. - get those. Those were delicious.
Abby B — Google review
I had a really mixed experience at Buttermilk Ranch. The food was great, especially the beignets! They were light, crisp, and and the lemon custard underneath really edged it out to be one of the best things I’ve eaten this year. Our first two servers were lovely, friendly, helpful, and full of great recommendations. We thought we found a gem. Then things took a turn. Someone accidentally spilled a full glass of ice water right into my lap. Accidents happen, and I get it, but what happened afterward was disappointing. At first, we were told we couldn’t move tables, even though I was completely soaked, including my socks and shoes. After insisting, we were moved. When I asked if they had anything to help, a towel, blanket, apron, anything, I was told there wasn’t. Eventually, after suggesting it myself, someone brought a T-shirt. By then my food was cold, and they did replace it. The new plate came out hot and looked much better, which I appreciated. But I was still drenched by the end of the meal. When we asked if they’d consider reimbursing me for a quick clothing stop so I could change, the manager came back to say they’d comped our $86 meal and that was all they could do. She added that it was “just water” and mentioned the T-shirt I neither wanted nor kept. The tone really caught me off guard. The food here is excellent, and some of the staff were genuinely great. But hospitality isn’t just about good food, it’s about how you handle things when they go wrong. I didn’t expect perfection, just a little empathy and care. And that part was missing.
Stella K — Google review
We knew this breakfast spot was popular, but we underestimated how popular, even on a Friday morning. We should have joined the waitlist sooner because we ended up waiting almost an hour and a half to be seated. That said, it wasn’t a bad wait: we grabbed to-go coffees, checked out the vendor tents across the street, browsed a few nearby pastry shops, and enjoyed the beautiful weather. By the time we sat down, we overheard the host telling new guests the wait was up to three hours- clearly, this place draws a crowd for a reason. We ordered: the Local Ranchers starter, 12th South Scramble, Cube Benny: Bacon with Corn Gravy, Corned Beef Hash Skillet, and Foragers Omelet. Everything was delicious, fresh, and well-prepared. The only downside was that my Benny arrived cold, and the side salad was just a handful of greens with poppyseed dressing, even though the server had asked about toppings beforehand (to which I approved). Given how busy they were, I suspect that’s not uncommon during rush hours. A couple of observations: grab to-go pastries (the croissants are incredible) and hop in the restroom line early- it never seems to shorten. Despite the long wait and a few hiccups, the food definitely lived up to the hype. I’d go back.
Kelsey A — Google review
This place is super popular. The only downside is that they don’t take reservation so expect a long wait especially if are a large group. If you are just one of two person, highly recommend to get the seat by the counter first come first serve, you just need to wait around the counter. The food is great, I have the southern dirty fried rice is really good flavor and the bacon is really delicious. Make sure you order the salted honey butter croissant, the savory and sweetness balanced so well and it’s to die for. The pancake are alright, nothing stood out. The fried chicken biscuit is not recommended, it’s not really the normal biscuit that does not hit the spot The service is amazing, the waitress at the counter are really friendly and happy

Nestled in the heart of East Nashville, Hearts is a charming Australian-inspired café that feels like a warm embrace from an old friend. With its inviting atmosphere characterized by earthy woods and lush potted plants, this cozy spot is perfect for catching up over brunch or enjoying a leisurely lunch. The menu showcases delightful dishes influenced by Melbourne's vibrant café culture, featuring favorites like ricotta hotcakes, bircher muesli, and the ever-popular smashed avocado toast.
My friend and I had brunch here while visiting from out of town and we had such a great experience! We were able to be seated upon arrival and the menu had so many great options! The sweet pea/ricotta toast with a poached egg + hashbrown side was so good. My friend got the corn + zucchini fritter which was also delicious. We made friends with the gentleman sitting next to us who gave us a lot of good local recommendations as well!
Chelsea O — Google review
I think this place has great potential but for most of our group it was only pretty good just not for the price. Food: The only items we ordered that got glowing reviews were the matcha latte and The Godmother. The food overall was good because it’s lighter compared to the standard Nashville breakfast foods, but the prices leaned high for the taste and portions. Also, the poached eggs in the Egg Benny were almost hard and not runny at all. Service: The staff were nice and attentive! Atmosphere: The spot feels like it was built to be a peaceful and casual coffee shop you could hang at for hours doing work, but since it’s so popular it ends up feeling overwhelming on the weekend day we went.
Vincent C — Google review
I had a lovely morning at Hearts! The lavender latte was perfectly balanced—floral, smooth, and just the right amount of sweet. The breakfast burrito hit the spot and left me full and happy. I was greeted with a warm smile at the door and felt genuinely welcomed. Service was fast, friendly, and thoughtful. Can’t wait to come back!

What a cool find in East Nashville. The online pics of the colorful, healthy & unique menu options is what brought me in. The food was as delicious as it looked! I was blown away at the amazing flavors and textures of the Corn Fritter meal I ordered. The vibe was so warm, open, inviting. Lots beautiful plants and natural light from the front windows. The back opened up into a surprisingly large & thoughtful outside seating area. The outside area had various picnic tables, with umbrellas and shades, very neat gravel ground. Spacious & dog friendly! The staff was so very attentive, I was seated promptly and checked onIby each server that passed by, ensuring all was good. Warm & excellent experience. I definitely will be back to try all the menu items & bring my pups and friends to enjoy as well.

We ate here this past Monday (10/27/2025) at around 11am. Our waitress was fantastic, friendly, and very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu! Food was delicious, so much so that my wife and I agreed that Hearts is our new favorite brunch establishment in Nashville (and we've been to many of them)! The Mocha they served was likely the best one I've had, ever (and again, I've had plenty of coffee at many other restaurants). Well done, Hearts! Parking is a bit limited so be prepared to walk a bit if you show up on a weekend or a busy time of day

Hands down, one of the best spots I’ve found. Great food. Amazing service. Incredible ambiance. I enjoyed the Aussie Beef burger, it was delicious. They have a decent selection, the presentation of the dishes is cute too. I definitely recommend this place; although parking might be hard to find, be aware of this. :)

Everything was on point! Thank you Sam and James for the wonderful service! Oatmeal, French Toast, egg sandwich, hashbrowns, orange juice & Coffee were outstanding! I can’t get over the plants and how they made the place even better.

Biscuit Love Gulch is a bustling eatery that originated as a food truck in 2012, serving up Southern breakfast and lunch dishes made with locally sourced ingredients. The menu features a variety of biscuit-based delights, including the East Nasty with buttermilk-fried chicken and sausage gravy, as well as the sweet Gertie with caramelized banana jam and house-ground peanut butter.
These were definitely the best biscuits I've ever had by far. The brown sugar iced latte was also very good. It had the perfect amount of sweetness. The line was long but it moved really fast. I usually never wait in lines but this was worth it. If you don't want to wait in line you can order online and eat at the park around the corner. It's got seating right by a beautiful waterfall fountain.
Javier R — Google review
A friend of mine told us Biscuit Love is a must-stop when we come to Nashville for our first time, and she was right! First impressions when we walked in was it is simple and beautiful with a very homey feel to it. The decor and colors of Biscuit Love are muted and so pretty. Our hostess/cashier who greeted us and took our order was so sweet and friendly. She made us feel very welcome. Our food arrived promptly and was delicious and so filling. Their biscuits are on point and probably the thickest biscuits I've ever had! The eggs were great, and the sausage had a great flavor. I recommend getting a side of sausage gravy to anyone who likes sausage gravy. It was VERY tasty. If you like coffee, this is one of the best cups of coffee my husband and I have had while in Nashville. Naturally, I had to buy a cute sticker, tee shirt, and some of their Blackberry Lemon preserves on our way out the door. I definitely recommend this as a breakfast joint!
Kayla N — Google review
We went at peak brunch time signs for the time to wait were pretty perfectly spaced. I didn’t love that you ordered before sitting down, but I do think it made the process quicker. The food was accurately described and everything we had was delicious! Fairly reasonably priced, also. One of us asked for hot sauce and we were given one that was nearly empty… asked for another, and it was also nearly empty! There’s a display of them on the wall! Grab one of those! Otherwise it was great!
Linda T — Google review
Really disappointed with our visit to Biscuit Love. The food was fine, but the service completely ruined the experience. The staff was rude and unaccommodating, especially considering we had a baby with us. We were a party of five, and instead of helping us sit together, they made one person sit at another table — which made no sense given the space available. The biscuits are absolute perfection — buttery, flaky, and melt-in-your-mouth good. The “East Nasty” is an instant favorite, and the bonuts (biscuit donuts!) are pure genius. We came in excited to try a Nashville favorite, but the lack of courtesy and flexibility from the staff made it hard to enjoy the meal. Definitely not the welcoming Southern hospitality we were expecting.
Gau'tam S — Google review
Before we came to Nashville, a few people recommended Biscuit Love for breakfast, and it absolutely lived up to the hype! You order at the counter, and they bring your food right to your table, which was super convenient. The vibe is so cute and cozy, we were lucky to miss the morning rush, so no wait. The biscuits and coffee were unreal. Fluffy, buttery, and just perfect. The menu had so many tempting options it was hard to choose, but we went with the Hungry Hash Bowl: golden potatoes, crispy bacon, perfectly cooked eggs, melty cheese, and fresh green onions, all smothered in their signature gravy. This spot really nails everything, food, service, and atmosphere. Definitely a must-visit if you’re in Nashville.
James G — Google review
Overall experience was very good and highly recommend to try this place out. They have many menu options and the food was very good. Parking was an issue however there is a public parking garage right across the street and the 1st hour is free then it goes up to $12 for 2 hours. The seating wasn’t a favorite as the tables are practically right next to each other so if it’s busy you will be having breakfast with strangers and be shoulder to shoulder as you eat. They do offer free refills on drinks such as iced tea but we had to go to the bar every time to ask for a refill as there aren’t any servers checking in. Overall great experience and spent around $60 for 2 people.
Jon R — Google review
Food was 10/10 but the atmosphere and service were so bad I have to rate it 1 star. The service ordering up front was great but no servers (other than dropping off food) and the water they give you is practically a shot and you have to get up and refill it yourself a million times. On top of that, it's crowded with elbow-to-elbow room with no privacy for conversation. If you are looking for a nice place to be comfortable and eat this is not the place to go.
Jonathan W — Google review
I had the East Nasty and my husband had the chicken and waffles. The biscuits and waffles were delicious, but the chicken was inconsistent. Mine was a little tough, but his was very tender. The sausage gravy was pretty bland. Serving sizes were large.

Frothy Monkey is a popular local coffeehouse chain with locations across the South, known for its hip and laid-back ambiance. The cafe offers a variety of specialty coffee drinks, including seasonal lattes like the Havana, as well as a diverse food menu. Guests can enjoy breakfast and brunch items all day, such as the BE Hive Hash and loaded biscuits with chorizo gravy.
I grabbed a to-go order from Frothy Monkey and it was a great experience. The food was fresh and really tasty, and the coffee was smooth and strong, just how I like it. Even though I didn’t dine in, everything was well-packaged and still felt made with care. I’d definitely stop by again for a quick bite and great coffee.

Came to have some brunch here after looking at the reviews. We were in downtown so it was easy since this was right where we were walking around . The service was great we got a table right away for a Sunday afternoon . We ordered a bagel sandwich and the salmon sandwich . We tried three different coffees . The flannel , the Havana and a caramel latte . The coffee was okay. I couldn’t really taste the caramel and the other two were heavy on the cinnamon . The bagel was not good :( very stale and not flavorful . The Sandwich itself was okay / maybe missing some sauce . The salmon sandwich on the other hand stole the show . It was very good - nice bread , the dill sauce was delicious and it was a thick piece of fish ! :)

Cute place for brunch. Easy to find, just a little walk from Broadway. There was a little wait when we went for brunch but here’s shops near by to peruse while you wait. The Havana latte was delicious! And all the food was fantastic. Service was great too. I would definitely recommend checking it out while in Nashville

The Golden Monkey 🧡🐒 is really special. Coffee with tumeric and black pepper. It really really works. I'd drink it everyday. The staff are really good to chat to. Today is Halloween and I'm having fun working out their costumes

I don’t typically leave reviews, but I was very disappointed by this experience as the place had such good reviews. Waited 35 minutes for our food which was a bagel and a sandwich. Servers were condensing, except for one tall male with dark hair (did not catch his name). We were sat in a back corner, felt forgotten about. Wouldn’t recommend to any visitors from other countries like ourselves, we felt the reviews were misleading to what we experienced.
Halannah W — Google review
Delicious food and super cool atmosphere. Shrimp and grits were outstanding. Big shrimp, hearty andouille and a savory roux. Stuff was magical. Wife got the salami and Swiss which blew her mind. Will return!!! Service was perfect. Think some of the “slow” comments were largely tied to iced/specialty coffee orders that are prepared to order.

Located in the heart of The Gulch at the Thompson Nashville hotel, Marsh House offers elevated Southern cuisine with a focus on seafood. Open seven days a week, this chic restaurant provides a variety of meal options using locally sourced and sustainable ingredients.
Sometimes people lean on the opinion that hotel restaurants aren't the best choices for a trip to city, but those people would miss out in this case... Marsh House is in the Thompson Hotel in The Gulch neighborhood in Nashville, and their brunch was incredible. Eli was our bartender, and he made our experience even better than the delicious food that was served. Perfect, fun service. Thanks, Eli! Fun environment with some hotel guests, party folks, and couples at the bar. The dining room looked very nice, although we sat in the bar area. The wife had the Medieval Barber for a drink and loved it. We got the salmon tartar as an appetizer, and it was delicious, along with a fantastic presentation. Wife got the shrimp and grits, and I got one of the better omelettes that I have ever had (I added ham to the cheese-y-ness magic). Hope you go there, and hope Eli is your tender. The Gulch is also a cool wander as you digest the awesome meal you just had. Dining room looked classy too. Definitely recommend, and see you there...

Cannot speak highly enough about this place. The atmosphere is great, but the service And food is next level. Our group ordered shrimp toast, scallops, chicken, steak, And plenty of wine. Everything was outstanding. The chicken is moist as it gets, steak perfectly cooked And seasoned, scalloped flawless. Server was absolutely incredible with recommendations And friendly banter. Will be a regular stop any time I’m in Nashville for sure!

I loved this restaurant for so many reasons. I was in Nashville to wedding dress shop with my daughter. She lives there now. I would recommend this place to anyone. We had a celebration lunch as Sierra found THE DRESS and I wanted it to be special. Our waitress was amazing and all of the food was divine! Also get the OYSTERS! And the smoked fish dip. Yummmmmm

We stopped here a few years ago back for happy hour oysters and said if we returned we would try for a meal. It was our last night in Nashville so we returned, we honestly ate everything lol. We decided on a selection of apps which were all very good. We had oysters raw and baked, ceviche, tartare, prawns, fish dip, some other dishes and chocolate cake. We were celebrating an anniversary and were provided with a complimentary fun champagne drinks. All food was wonderful and service top notch from Bek,

Marsh House is an absolute must-visit in Nashville! The whole place has such an upscale vibe, and they clearly pay attention to every detail—even the sinks in the bathroom are super trendy and cool! But the real star is the food. The menu is packed with flavor from the appetizers all the way to the mains. Every dish was perfectly executed and delicious. Highly recommend for a fantastic dining experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Friendly service. Breakfast was ok but high priced. I built my own breakfast with eggs, bacon, and fresh fruit. My husband had ordered the crab cake benedict, however the server returned and said it wasn't ready so he switched to shrimp and grits. He said it was ok, but the grits were creamier than he's had before.

It’s hard to top fresh New Orleans seafood but Marsh House is as good as it gets anywhere. Fresh oysters, fresh gulf fish, fresh shrimp. And the attention to detail by the servers was five stars! Can’t wait to return.

Loved the oysters at happy hour, the service was excellent and they were so nice and accommodating regarding us having our baby with us. Definitely get the bread and the lobster roll was better than one we had in Bar Harbor. We had their pistachio dessert and it was delicious too! They made it a special night for us as we were celebrating a big achievement. Will definitely be back.

The Pancake Pantry in Nashville's Hillsboro Village is a beloved breakfast spot that has been serving up delicious pancakes, egg dishes, and sandwiches since 1961. This family-owned diner offers a wide variety of made-from-scratch pancakes, including their famous sweet potato pancakes and unique flavors like Georgia Peach, Caribbean, and Santa Fe Cornmeal. In addition to their signature pancakes, the menu features farm-fresh egg dishes, syrupy waffles, gourmet sandwiches, and freshly prepared salads.
I can’t say enough good things about my visit to Pancake Pantry! The food was everything I hoped for fluffy pancakes cooked perfectly, rich syrup, and sides that hit the spot. But what really made the experience memorable was our server, Sarah. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right checking in often, anticipating what we might need before we even asked, and doing it all with the warmest smile. Sarah turned a great breakfast into an outstanding one. It’s service like hers that makes a place feel truly special. I’ll definitely be back, and I’ll be asking for Sarah next time!

Wonderful pancakes. The regular version and then several creative creations! We had the banana pancakes and cinnamon roll pancakes. They were both fantastic! We waited in line about 12-15 minutes, which didn’t seem too bad for a Friday morning around 10am.

We were staying in a local hotel but needed something different for breakfast. Found this place and couldn’t have been more pleased with the food and service. They had a line of people waiting which is a great sign and they seemed to seat folks quickly. Prices were reasonable and everything was great!

Highly recommend the food here! They are fast and efficient. We waited about 20 minutes for a table at noon on a Sunday. Once we got in, it was super fast. They do have an accessible entrance but it's a little tight and you have to go through their outside tables for a flat entrance. Otherwise there are a few stairs by the door. We tried many of the flavors and all were great. Sweet potato was my favorite.

Pancake Pantry, located on Molloy Street, is a casual brunch restaurant known for its variety of pancakes. It's open every day from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. I waited in line for nearly an hour, so I was relieved when the food turned out to be great. Everything I ordered hit the spot, and our server was on top of everything. I started with the candied bacon, coated in brown sugar and maple syrup. It was a little on the sweet side for me, but I still enjoyed it. Next, I tried the country fried steak and eggs. It was flavorful and well-balanced, making for a hearty and satisfying meal. Although I'm not much of a pancake guy, I can definitely say this place is worth the wait.

Came for breakfast at 9am on a Titans gameday. Heard that there is almost always a line to get in and that was the case for our party of two, but we only had to stand outside for 15 minutes. Friendly host took us in and we had a table by the front window and we could people watch as we ate. Did notice that people who chose to eat outside had a shorter wait time as there were a couple of open tables. Server was prompt and of course recommended the pancakes, either blueberry or cinnamon. Love a good blueberry pancake so I chose that with a side of bacon and I split an order of biscuits and gravy with my friend I was having breakfast with. The food came out pretty quick. The pancakes were fluffy buttermilk with a dusting of powdered sugar and some blueberries on top. It also came with a blueberry compote that was sweet and think kind of a cross between jelly and syrup. The pancakes were really good! The bacon was cooked to perfection, not too crispy and not too waist. The biscuits and gravy order had two biscuits with a good gravy that was a little spicy. Not as much of a sawmill gravy/pepper gravy taste that I expected to get, more of a thinner gravy that paired well with the slight sweetness of the biscuit. Overall, very good flavor and texture. Could not finish all of the pancakes or even the biscuits and gravy order, portion were pretty large. Price was about what you would spend for a similar breakfast type location like a First Watch or Eggs Up chain, but the food quality was better. Great overall experience at the Pancake Pantry and a must visit location if you are in downtown Nashville!

Amazing second location that offers very good food at a great price. The wait seems long but the line moves fast, don’t let it discourage you! The service was great and coffee was very good.

This cute breakfast place had a constant line the whole time we were here. I can see why. The pancakes were delicious. They served it with two types of syrup- maple and cinnamon. The cinnamon was my favorite. Servers were friendly and efficient and food came out In a timely fashion. It ended up to be a quick breakfast and just what we needed.

The Loveless Cafe is a charming Southern eatery with a rustic ambiance and an array of unique shops on-site. Renowned for its delectable Southern fare, this iconic establishment has been delighting diners for over 70 years. Originally a modest motel and cafe, it has evolved into a beloved dining destination serving up mouthwatering dishes such as fried chicken, buttermilk biscuits, pit-cooked pork, southern-fried catfish, and more.
Takes me back to the 60s…cool atmosphere. Neat story on how it started too. Would definitely come back. Best part—the plentiful biscuits with homemade jam. WOW. Highly recommend the fried chicken, fried green tomatoes, and cole slaw. And again, the biscuits are some of the best I have ever eaten. It’s like eating dessert before the main entree.

I had to try this place as it comes highly recommend. I came on Friday around noon and the wait was an hour and 15 minutes. I thought it was a bit crazy for a week day. They do take reservations. I just didn't think to make one. As I was about to walk out, a few ladies recommended I order to go and eat at one of the picnic tables outside. So that's what I did! The food was good, but not to die for. Their biscuits are not the best I've tasted in Nashville. I did appreciate the history behind this place. They have a gift shop and a little country market on premises. I definitely recommend visiting, just ensure you make a reservation!

One of the best "meat and three" type restaurants I have found yet!! The dry rub ribs are amazing!! The turnip greens, I could eat a massive bowl of. Also really enjoyed the basket of biscuits that comes with the meal, oh and the homemade jams are crazy good. Loved our server, she was great and very helpful. No excuses needed to go back here will return no question.

We came based on a friend’s recommendation when visiting. A really cool restaurant with a long history. The food came quickly and was a real highlight. They ran a brisket with eggs special and it was absolutely delicious. The hashbrown casserole was great as well. Biscuits were hot, buttery, flakey and the peach preserves were a standout.

A friend and I went here for brunch to round out our Nashville girls weekend. There was a bit of a wait but we expected there to be so. We first tried to make a reservation on the website but any time we were looking for wasn't available so we decided to just put our names on the wait list when we got there, which was super easy to do. While waited we walked around to the 2 gift shops that were open grabbed some coffee, and looked around the grounds. All together a really cool place to look atound while you wait for your table. The food was your traditional diner/café food which is exactly what we wanted and was delicious. The complimentary biscuits and jam are a must try. They are so soft, buttery and delicious. Service was top notch 10/10 I've unfortunately forgotten our servers name but they all seemed great from what I observed at other tables. They were very attentive and brought everything we needed without being overbearing.

I absolutely loved everything about my time at Loveless Cafe. I’ve been several times over the years, but this last Wednesday was probably one of my favorite experiences. A server named Chaz saw I was eating alone and took it upon himself to make my time as fun as possible. He checked on me every few minutes and joked around with me. He made what could’ve been a lonely experience, an enjoyable one. The food was amazing! I had the Hawkeye omelette (I think that was the name of it). It was delicious. The biscuits and jam were divine! I will definitely make Loveless a tradition to visit each year.

Urban Grub is a stylishly rustic eatery located on 12th Ave, offering an extensive raw bar and serving Southern and seafood specialties. While it's not solely a seafood restaurant, the fresh and flavorful water-based selection is handled by a local butcher who prioritizes quality over quantity. The menu features classic selections like Shrimp & Grits and Seared Scallops, as well as the option to create your own charcuterie board for a chic dining experience without the cleanup.
Food and service were excellent! We went there on a Friday night expecting a wait, but somehow was seated immediately. It was busy and somewhat crowded but not loud and servers were attentive and knowledgeable. We were traveling to Nashville and chose Urban Grub based on location and Google reviews. Very happy with our choice. As with many other reviewers we tried the pork chop and loved it. Had a light smoked flavor w/ some char which I like. Also had the delicious shrimp and grits. Two cocktails, appetizer, two entrees, two sides, and dessert was under $200 w/ tip. We’d go back to try son other dishes next time in Nashville for sure.

Review for July 26th visit. We came in later in the evening. We didn't have a reservation, yet they had seating for us outside. Being seated in the outdoor seating under the fan was a blessing, kept us cool. The oysters and trout were delicious, the scallops and mushrooms as well, and the popovers were so buttery and scrumptious. Both of our cocktails were delicious. Our waiter was attentive and cheerful, made the experience even better. Would definitely go back. Highly recommended.

My husband took me here for my birthday on a cold rainy October evening. The building itself is very aesthetically pleasing. We were seated semi outside with a couple heaters above us which was wonderful for me (I’m always cold). We didn’t have appetizers but the server brought us some bread and butter with jam. We don’t eat bread as we are on carnivore but I took a small taste. It was light fluffy and flaky but not silt of flavor. Not complaining just giving my opinion. Then he got the full New York strip and I got the special of pan seared halibut with pumpkin pasta and goat cheese. His steak was cooked to perfection the way he likes it (medium rare) , and my halibut was delicious. It didn’t have much flavor alone but eating it with the goat cheese and baby spinach it was great. (Didn’t eat the pasta). All in all it was worth the price and maybe I would’ve raved about it more if I ate a variety of foods. I can’t say I will go back but I also can’t say I won’t go back. Service was ok. She didnt bother us but also wasn’t the most attentive, as we sat with empty glasses for a while.

My husband and I came to Nashville to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary and decided to come here for dinner, and I’m so glad we did! It was BY FAR the best food we had during our trip in Nashville and one of the best meals we’ve ever had, period. Every part of the meal was 5 star and I would come back to eat here again if I am ever in the Nashville area. Our server brought us champagne because it was our anniversary, which was just a lovely way to start off the meal. He gave us a wonderful recommendation on the oysters to get as an appetizer; they were the perfect start to a delicious meal. Then I got the shrimp and grits and my husband got the pork chop, along with fries and asparagus for his sides. I did not know a pork chop could be so good. I added the andouille sausage to my shrimp and grits and I’m so glad I did, it was delicious and smoky and added just the perfect balance to the delicious creamy, cheesy grits (the best grits I’ve ever had). I didn’t want to stop eating those grits they were so good, but I had to because I just couldn’t fit another bite into my stomach. I have eaten at some of the best restaurants, including Michelin star rated ones, and this meal is one of my top meals. I highly recommend trying this place, you won’t be disappointed.

Our group of five had an unforgettable experience at Urban Grub in Nashville! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the trendy, welcoming vibe and lively atmosphere. It’s clear why this spot is so popular — it hits the perfect balance of upscale and relaxed. We started our evening at the charcuterie and oyster bar, which was the perfect kickoff. The oysters were incredibly fresh, and the drinks were top-notch. The attention to detail and quality in the small bites and beverages alone set the tone for a great night. Once seated in the dining area, we ordered a variety of dishes that absolutely delivered on flavor and presentation. Two of us had the shrimp and grits — creamy, perfectly seasoned, and packed with Southern charm. One ordered the Springer Mountain all-natural chicken, which was juicy, tender, and beautifully plated. The two Club Carbonara dishes were a hit as well — rich, savory, and satisfying without being too heavy. The service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and every course arrived in perfect rhythm. Urban Grub is a must-visit for anyone looking for a memorable meal in a stylish setting. Whether you’re local or just visiting, this spot should be on your Nashville dining

We were here celebrating a couple of birthdays and were not disappointed by the food, the service and the atmosphere. All were excellent! Our waitress Arielle was so good and her recommendations were on the money. The pork chop, shrimp & gouda grits and yes their Andouie sausage are fabulous! This is an upscale restaurant but it's relaxed and welcoming! We'll be back again.

Luogo, which translates to "place" in Italian, is a dining destination that offers a fresh perspective on upscale Italian cuisine with a focus on flavors from the Mediterranean coast. The restaurant is open for dinner from Tuesday to Sunday and features a delightful Bellini Brunch on weekends. Signature pasta dishes like Spaghetti with Manilla Clams and Rigatoni Bolognese are among the highlights.
I am a Nashville native and I have to say that this is some of the best service I’ve had thus far! The atmosphere was perfect for any event - whether it’s a casual dinner or a celebration; Luogo has you covered! Alona gave us some of the best service I’ve ever had. I had dinner there last night with my boyfriend. We had intended to eat at the bar (because that’s what we prefer), it was full so the hostess said there were extra seats outside on the patio. We had such a great time. Geoffrey, our server, was fantastic. Very knowledgeable of the menu and friendly. He suggested the order our food should come out since we just ordered a variety of apps and it was perfect. The food was delicious and came out quickly. We were given refills in a timely manner and the staff was great. I’d definitely recommend going to Luogo.. and ask for Geoffrey!

I can't begin to say how much my husband and I enjoyed our anniversary dinner here. Everything from the restaurant decor to the menu had so much thought put into it. Our waiter, Connor, was so attentive and was there to check on us at the perfect time. Each recommendation he made was so good. The mocktails were delicious. The lasagna was absolutely out of this world, and my husband's duck ragu was also amazing. For dessert we ordered the tiramisu...As someone who has a culinary background, this was the best tiramisu I've ever had, hands down! We will definitely be back and have been recommending this restaurant. We look forward to many more special dates here.

My new favorite Italian place!! The decor is cute, the atmosphere cozy and warm, the service amazing, and the food delicious. Alex, our server, was friendly and outgoing, and he went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience. The rigatoni bolognese was fantastic. The ricotta added the perfect touch, and the pasta was cooked perfectly. The ragu was very flavorful too. For dessert, I highly recommend the tiramisu! It’s one of the best I’ve ever had.

Such a lovely atmosphere! The team was so fun about helping us celebrate our anniversary- thank you, Luogo for making our day so special! We loved our pre-dinner cocktails, the wine, starters - everything was cooked to perfection with great presentation.

The service here is impeccable!! They are courteous, attentive and responsive to requests. The appetizers were overall delicious. We ordered the grilled Caesar Salad, the Arancini (which I definitely recommend—they are larger than traditional ones). We also ordered the potato zucchini chips and the margarita pizza. I would not recommend the margarita pizza. The entrees however left much to be desired. It took almost 45 minutes for them to come out after we had finished our appetizers. And with the Fettuccini Alla Gamberi with Tomato and Cream Sauce that I ordered it was noticeable. My fettuccini was so soft and mushy it was difficult to appreciate how great the sauce was. We also ordered the branzino and it was overcooked. The gnocchi was also very chewy. For the price the food was not worth it. But the service and the atmosphere was really great.

Milk & Honey Gulch is a popular coffee shop and eatery located on 11th Avenue in Nashville's Gulch neighborhood. It offers an all-day breakfast menu from 6:30 am to 3 pm, except on Tuesdays and Wednesdays when it's closed. The trendy cafeteria-style spot is always bustling, so be prepared for a lively atmosphere.
Milk & Honey Gulch is clearly a local favorite, we waited about an hour for a table, and the line didn’t let up the whole time. Once seated, though, the experience moved quickly. The space itself is beautifully styled with clean, modern aesthetics and a well-designed logo that gives the place a contemporary charm without trying too hard. 🍽️ Food & Drinks I ordered the Hot Mess Biscuit Sandwich, and it absolutely delivered. The biscuits were soft and not overly dry, perfectly holding together the layers of brisket, bacon, avocado, egg, pickled onion, and chipotle mayo. The flavors worked together beautifully bold but balanced, and surprisingly light for such a stacked breakfast. 👨‍🍳 Service & Hospitality Despite how busy it was, our server was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Once we were seated, our food came out quickly and the overall service felt smooth and efficient. 💡 Unique Selling Point What sets Milk & Honey Gulch apart is the combination of fresh, flavorful breakfast offerings and a stylish yet cozy setting. It’s clear they’ve built a strong following and once you’ve tasted that sandwich, it’s easy to see why.

Fantastic stop on our way out of Nashville. Our waiter was very attentive and not overwhelming. He had some great recommendations, including The Hot Mess, a different breakfast, avocado and bacon on a biscuit, and I got a piece of hot chicken on the side. My wife had the pistachio croissant, which was very flavorful, along with the mushroom omelet, which she enjoyed. I had the Milk And Honey latte hot, which was very tasty, and no sugar was needed, and my wife had the Dr Feel Good juice. You have to try the hot honey sauce on the table, it was the perfect flavor for all your food needs.

Super cute, neighborhood cafe. We actually stopped here just for coffee but ended up eating here because the menu looked amazing. Then came back 2 days later! Not much seating available so it gets busy and no waiting area so you'll have to wait outside if your table isn't ready yet. I also think your entire group has to be present to be seated. Had both bowls, chicken and biscuits, Brie French toast. Amaretto latte. Side of their home made sausage gravy. Everything was delicious! I'm not a French toast person because usually they're too big and too much but this dish was absolutely perfect! Tiny pieces of toast (just enough) and so delicious. Fruit was fresh.

I had a really good, quick breakfast at Sky Blue Cafe. It is a great neighborhood spot that has 10-12 tables inside and lots of small town charm. The first time I tried to go there, there was a large crowd out front waiting for tables - no waiting inside because there isn’t enough room. I was very happy that I was able to get a table on my second attempt as it wasn’t as crowded. I got a breakfast sandwich on a biscuit and a side of home fries. I wish the home fries were a little bit crispier, but the food was good overall. I also enjoyed my iced latte too.

Wine bar
Barcelona Wine Bar is a delightful haven for those seeking an authentic taste of Spain in a cozy, late-night atmosphere. With its charming decor featuring barnwood and exposed brick, this venue offers both communal dining and intimate settings on the patio or in the back room. The menu boasts an array of traditional Spanish tapas like gambas al ajillo and albondigas, alongside their renowned paella—especially the seafood version brimming with shrimp, mussels, clams, and squid.
This was SUCH A GOOD FIND for our one night in Nashville. We sat at the bar and the bartenders were all great - friendly and helpful with suggestions. Everything we ordered was delicious, and I‘d highly recommend the aperitivo board as a start. It had just about everything we wanted, so we just ordered a couple more things (the basque cheesecake, for example - yum) to finish out the night. So glad we stumbled on this restaurant!
Jennifer C — Google review
We had a prompt seating on the beautiful patio for our reservation. The restaurant boasts an impressive wine list, with a great selection of organic and biodynamic Spanish wines, and we appreciated the 50% off full bottles on Sunday. The food was absolutely outstanding—every dish was flavorful and came out quickly, though we did find the pacing a bit rushed. While the food and ambiance were excellent, the service was less memorable. Our server, and the staff in general, was efficient but lacked warmth and engagement. We would have loved some descriptions of the dishes as they were brought to the table. The service also felt impersonal at the end of the meal. The server brought the check before clearing our dishes, which made the final transaction awkward and impacted our impression. Despite this, the amazing food and beautiful setting make it worth another visit.

Barcelona Wine Bar honestly surprised me. I didn’t expect it to be this good. The food was amazing, the drinks were spot on, and the whole place had such a nice vibe. I brought 5 friends who had never been to Barcelona. We got the shared plate menu from the chef. Everyone loved all of the dishes. The chicken was nearly everyone’s favorite - so flavorful and moist. I also asked for a wine recommendation, which was spot on.
Linda R — Google review
Nestled in Nashville, Barcelona offers a tapas brunch that blends authenticity, creativity, and incredible flavor. We started with warm, heartwarming bread served alongside high-quality olive oil—perfect for dipping with aged Manchego, Mahón, and Soria chorizo. The combination of the rich cheeses, flavorful chorizo, and delicate apricot jelly cubes was spot on. I paired it with their “Tea Time” drink, which carried refreshing notes of lemon, mint, and honey—an excellent complement to the meal. From the tapas menu, the pork belly stood out with its beautifully spiced red sauce, while the flank steak with chimichurri was perfectly seasoned. The patatas bravas were easily some of the best we’ve had—the potatoes were crispy, well-seasoned, and layered over a flavorful tomato sauce. The ham Benedict and vegetable Benedict were also delicious and well executed. For dessert, the chocolate cake stole the show. Served with crème anglaise, almond crumble, and subtle coffee notes, it was so good we immediately ordered a second plate. The Panxineta was also a lovely sweet finish. Beyond the food, the ambience was warm, inviting, and perfect for a leisurely weekend brunch. A special mention goes to our server, Elijah, whose attentive service and thoughtful recommendations made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, Barcelona delivered an unforgettable brunch experience. From the quality of ingredients to the thoughtful pairings, welcoming atmosphere, and outstanding service, it’s truly one of the best tapas spots in Nashville.

Suzy Wong's Drag'n Brunch is an Asian-fusion hotspot featuring a 2-level patio, creative cocktails, and a lively soundtrack. Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, the House of Yum hosts an exciting drag brunch with three fabulous queens performing. Reservations are required for either the 10:30 AM or 1 PM seating at $29.99 per person, which includes appetizers, an entree, and non-alcoholic drinks.
We had so much fun at Suzy Wong’s! The food was fast and good enough (for a bar). The service was excellent though, the atmosphere was welcoming and fun! It was my first time at a drag show and I loved it. The performers were AMAZING and so talented! Highly highly recommend!

This was my third time doing the Drag n Brunch and had a great time with my girlfriends celebrating my pregnant birthday this year! Devon was a great server and made sure we were taken care of. I read a few reviews saying the food wasn’t good but there was fresh fruit on the table upon arrival and they brought out hot buttery biscuits and beignets as soon as we were sat! The biscuits and butter they brought out were delicious!!! I played it safe with a grilled cheese and tomato soup for my entree and it was exactly as described. The show was great and lively and those celebrating special occasions were brought up on stage which was unexpected and really fun! The only feedback I would offer is that a couple of the songs/routines were the same ones I saw when I went 4 years ago, it would be exciting to have new performances to look forward to seeing each time and a reason to keep coming back but other than that it was a great morning and I highly recommend!

We had such a great time at the Drag N Brunch! We were in a town for my sister’s bachelorette and so happy we added this to our itinerary. The queens were fabulous and had hilarious wit. They really got the crowd involved, and made it fun for all. Our server Brandon was the BEST! He was very accommodating and put up with us after we lingered long after the show. He also gave us a lot of great Nashville pointers and places to go.

Although we had brunch reservations for 2 , our seating sucked. You are bunched in with strangers and just like the airplane if you’re seated too late you stuck in the middle, which super sucks. The food was simple microwave COLD food. Doesn’t matter chicken, waffles, veggies bowl it’s pre microwaved and not worth the money. They seat you at 1pm and the show doesn’t start until after 2:15 and ends at 3pm. Definitely will not be back for brunch. It felt like hurding a flock of brides to be in a mess hall. The drag queens were ok. I like going in the evening better. On a good note my waiter was fantastic

The show was incredibly entertaining, we loved every minute of it! We were surrounded by bachelorette parties, which made the atmosphere even more fun. Our server was fantastic and took great care of us. The food and drinks weren’t amazing, but we still had an absolutely wonderful time! Don't forget to tip the showgals!!

Suzy Wong’s was above and beyond what we expected! The queens were wonderful performers. The food was delicious and served quickly. The staff were welcoming and lovely to interact with too! (Elle was a great server and gave great recommendations for the rest of our stay in town too!) From talking with the waiter, we learned the queens change their songs for performances each show, so it’ll be different each time you go. We definitely plan to return next time we’re in Nashville!

Sunda Nashville is a vibrant culinary gem that brings the flavors of Southeast Asia to life in a chic and modern setting. This high-end Asian restaurant offers an impressive array of dishes inspired by Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, and Filipino cuisines. One standout experience is their $120 kamayan dinner—a traditional Filipino feast featuring grilled meats and rice served on banana leaves for a communal dining experience.
From the moment we arrived, the welcome was warm and gracious. We were promptly seated in a charming area of the restaurant, which set the tone for a truly memorable dining experience. The ambiance is nothing short of immaculate, elegant yet inviting, with every detail thoughtfully curated. The menu is a testament to creativity and quality, offering an array of exceptional dishes that made choosing just one a delightful challenge. As for the food itself, it was nothing short of spectacular, each bite more impressive than the last. The staff went above and beyond, treating us with the kind of care and attention that made us feel like royalty. It’s rare to find a dining experience that hits every note so perfectly. Without a doubt, I’ll be returning, and I’m happy to give this gem a well-deserved 10 out of 10.

Ok! Nashville got one decent Asian restaurant, Although it is fusion but I love it!! First Beef short ribs on Penang was out of this world yummy. The tenderness of the beef , 🥩 oh man whoever cooked it should get a 5-star Michelin award!! I have never liked Panang that much and I’m Thai. Secondly, black Cod fish cooked just right. I have had an amazing one similar to this in Vegas but this blown me away Sushi was amazing but it was more adventurous to try their main course. We love all dishes we ordered.

25/10? Everything I’ve had from here so far has been amazing. From the food to the service everything is a 10/10 The manager as well definitely goes above and beyond. Truly exceeded what I thought all around. Keep in mind all my orders have been off uber but my birthday is in 2 weeks I’ll be sure to go dine in. Thank you sunda. Also out of all of these the crazy rice was beyond phenomenal!!!

Sunda is the best seafood restaurant in Nashville. I said what I said. In a landlocked city, the seafood options don't shine so we are so lucky to have this gem. Three words: lobster wagyu roll. Yes, it's expensive and trust us, it is worth it. The drinks are creative and balanced, and the dining room feels both elegant and relaxed at once. Parking is easy with the nearby garage (a small but major win in Nashville), and everything about the evening felt polished without being stuffy. Sunda makes any occasion feel special and is just as enjoyable for a casual night out. Highly recommended!

Wanted to love this place but that turned out not to be the case. Visited in the morning, and I wonder if it would be different for dinner. The only thing that stood out was our server Preston. He was very well versed on the menus, was able to help us make our choices. Panda sushi roll was good! Spicy edamame came out & it tasted spoiled. Korean fried chicken was basically inedible & shrimp pad Thai was overly sweet. Would not return. *The manager did give us 20% off due to these reasons, & Preston still received a tip for his good service!*

We had dinner here for the first time before a concert and the food was excellent. The only thing better than the food was our server, Alex. From offering excellent menu descriptions and all his favorites to helping select the perfect drink (you must try the peared sake), Alex went above and beyond to make our experience incredible! Highly recommend!

Absolutely blown away by this place! We tried 8-12 different items from the menu, and every single one was bursting with flavor. From starters to mains, everything was beautifully prepared and incredibly delicious. Some of, if not, the best Waygu Nigri we have ever had.The cocktails were just as impressive—well-balanced, creative, and super refreshing. Dessert? Equally amazing. Kevin, our server, who truly made the night special with his attentive and friendly service. Can’t recommend this spot enough if you’re into top-tier Asian cuisine and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Cafe Roze is a trendy all-day cafe located in East Nashville, offering elevated American classics, coffee, and drinks in a stylish and airy setting. The cafe is known for its extensive amaro shelf and live jazz nights. The menu features dishes like country ham toast with freshly-shaved parmesan and cabbage-wrapped roasted halibut in leek vichyssoise.
Everything was executed perfectly at happy hour. The oysters were fantastic, the shoestring fries were perfectly crunchy, the crudite was gorgeous and fresh, and the martinis (we tried four between us) were superbly balanced and flavorful. Warm and friendly service, immaculate light n airy bar/cafe vibes. We'll be back!!
Dan P — Google review
The good The food was healthy, unique, visually appealing and prepared nicely. I had the beet salad with salmon and an espresso Martini. The bad My Espresso Martini was delivered to the wrong table. Instead of remaking a new one, the server simply delivered it to my table and at least ¼ of the drink was spilled out and the glass was all sticky and it was a pretty tiny drink to begin with. We had a table of 5 and none of the food came out together, the first dish was delivered, then in 5-minutes another dish ... Overall the food was great, but incredibly bland and under seasoned. Relatively expensive for what we got, the price didn't match the service for sure
Justin B — Google review
I had a really good dinner at Cafe Rose with friends. The restaurant is smaller than I expected, and some of the seating was a little uncomfortable but they overall had a great vibe. We got the zucchini fritters and hummus as appetizers and I had the ricotta gnocchi as my entree. Everything was really good, but not as memorable as I had hoped! It’s a great neighborhood restaurant and if I lived closer I’d go more often.

When aim in town, this is a must visit. Breakfast or dinner, you’re in for a treat. The menu is unique and fresh. My daughter ordered a bone broth because she was feeling a little under the weather and wanted to go back everyday after for more. The waffles are unassuming but full of flavor- highly recommend. The menu rotates frequently, keeping you guessing and looking forward to new seasonal flavors.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A true hidden gem! Cafe Roze is such a small gem with an amazing vibe, cozy, stylish, and welcoming from the moment you walk in. The ambience strikes the perfect balance between relaxed and chic, making it ideal for brunch, lunch, or even just a coffee break. The food was absolutely delicious! The Manchego gnocchi was rich, comforting, and full of flavor, while the avocado hummus was fresh and perfectly seasoned — both dishes were top-notch 😋. Everything from the service to the presentation shows great attention to detail. Definitely a spot worth visiting again and again!

I’ve been coming here for years and today was absurd. First though… the burger was amazing, the bartenders are awesome. I’ve actually never had a bad experience here previously but am compelled to post this. I walk in with a coffee from down the street. The manager rushes over and informs me that “we have our own coffee program and there is no outside coffee allowed.” and to remember that for next time. Now, this isn’t a huge deal (although there are 25 coffee shops in a 2 mile radius here. Not sure how one can expect to enforce these rules or why they are so important. Osa beans and high garden tea are everywhere) So to mitigate the issue she puts my coffee in another plastic cup with a Cafe Roze sticker on one side which sits next to me in the photo below. As you can see from the photo, it doesn’t matter at all… The kicker for me is that I didn’t say one single word during that entire interaction and was being spoken at like a kid as opposed to spoken to like an adult. Very off putting and off to be honest strange. She grabbed my coffee without asking and then~ said “sorry for manhandling your coffee.” Like please get your hands off of my things! Insane! I see no value in bringing it up to her in person as I type this from the bar and see more value in posting here for more to see. Save yourself embarrassment and DO NOT bring your own coffee into here. Otherwise, enjoy.

their fries are better than mcdonald’s anyways here’s the roze bowl. they are very good with allergies, the server asked every table after they ordered if anyone had allergies as well as milk preferences. a record shop is across the street that i recommend stopping in if you have extra time

Had no idea what to expect - we were looking for Somewhere casual but new. Blew any expectations we had away. Service was great, great atmosphere, and excellent food. Between the 2 of us we had the Gnocchi, labenah, steak frites, and falafel. All were excellent. Only feedback would be was wish there was a little more crunch to the falafel / texture profile to that dish. But otherwise 10/10 all around. Will definitely be back.

Fido is a long-standing cafe located in Hillsboro Village, Nashville, near the Belmont and Vanderbilt campuses. It offers a funky coffeehouse vibe with gourmet espresso drinks and a diverse menu. The cafe serves breakfast items like pancakes, burritos, and scrambles all day, along with lunch specials such as smoked Gouda shrimp and grits.
For a brunch, I wanted to try a spot that I had not been to before, so I tried Fido, near Vandy. Such a great place to to try and go back. Everyone was really nice. I ordered their Ricotta toast with berries drizzled with honey and adorned with mint. It was so good! I had their April shower chai that had an edible butterfly. I would definitely put this on my list to return. Just make sure you scan the QR code when you go in. If you don't, you could possibly get a ticket😉(I didn't have to pay since I had my receipt).

Adorable coffee shop with a light selection of food and nice variety of coffees. The atmosphere was warm and very spread out with ample seating. The art was cute and souvenirs were nice. We enjoyed the avocado toast, house salad, smash burger, and kid’s burger. The amount of fries was a bit disappointing though and the service was mid. Overall we would visit again.

Stopped in for lunch and everything was delicious. I had the biscuit and gravy with scrambled eggs and potatoes, plus a side of bacon. The gravy had a kick to it that I absolutely loved, and the bacon was cooked perfectly—crispy but not burnt. I also grabbed an iced chai tea latte to go, and it was the perfect sweet treat to end the meal. Great food, fast service, and a fun vibe. Don’t miss out on this super cute spot. Bring your laptop, get some work done, and enjoy some quality people-watching while you’re at it.

As an out of towner we really just wanted good food and coffee without the hustle and bustle. Picked the perfect spot! Free 1 hour parking just across the street. My avocado toast was some of the best I have ever had and so was my latte! The hubby had a steak burrito and loved it. Zero wait, quick and kind service. 10/10 will go back!

What happened to this place??? This was always a favorite among the locals. Stopped in for breakfast and was HUGELY disappointed. Bacon was limp and greasy. Biscuit looked frozen, cooked yesterday, and reheated today. Completely inedible. $40 for two to eat diner food. Stick to the coffee and find your food elsewhere.

Found on Google while visiting for the weekend and decided to give it a shot. Casual breakfast and brunch spot with a good amount of indoor seating and some outdoor too. I got a simple bagel sandwich and it was fine. Pretty bland but nothing bad. I could just add salt and pepper myself but wasn’t too hungry so ate half of it. Overall no real complaints, was exactly what I expected. Decent spot to grab a quick bite and chill for a bit.

SAUSAGE! fido is known for incredible coffee and a wonderful bakery selection. You can’t go wrong with those pop tarts or cinnamon roll by the way. Today I had a spinach feta braid, which was excellent. but the breakfast plate with the eggs (which were cooked to perfection) the home fries, which were delicious and addicting was complemented by sausage patties, which are the stuff of which dreams are made. The flavor, the portion…. I’m telling you grab a side of sausage patties with whatever you order. :)

Noshville Delicatessen is a charming 1950s-themed New York-style deli located in Green Hills, Nashville. The eatery offers a delectable menu of classic deli favorites for breakfast, lunch, and take-out. Using locally sourced ingredients and fresh produce, Noshville is known for its all-day breakfast featuring dishes like griddle cakes, omelets, French toast, and corned beef hash.

Noshville is my favorite spot for breakfast in Nashville! The food is excellent and the service is friendly. I always get some soup to take home as well!
Emily E — Google review
This morning found us at Noshville Deli in Green Hills, a true New York style deli with Nashville roots. The room hums like a small town diner. Coffee cups clink, the grill hisses, and the counter fills up fast. It feels like stepping onto the set of Andy Griffith. The waitress greeted half the room by name. Locals pack this place for a reason. I went with my everyday start before work. Turkey and eggs. Simple, clean, exactly what I wanted. Turns out that was Vince Gill’s standard order here too. He has called himself a creature of habit and used to eat breakfast at Noshville every day. As a funeral director, I guess I am a fan of his music or at least I must be since I play it most days at work. That is a funeral director joke. Nannette took the spicy route with the spicy omelet. Plenty of kick, generous fillings, and still fluffy. We split one of their hubcap size pancakes. Light on the fork, crisp at the edge, and big enough to make you negotiate bites. One pancake is plenty for two if you are honest with yourself. Noshville’s draw is not just the food. It is the cadence of the room. Regulars at the counter. Staff moving with purpose. The kind of place where your coffee gets refilled without asking. If you want a Nashville breakfast that feels like a neighborhood ritual, pull up a stool here. Come for the classic deli comfort. Stay for the atmosphere and the people who make it feel like a small town inside a busy city. Place was packed, and it earned every seat.
Weston L — Google review
We absolutely love Noshville! We come at least once a week, and the service from all of the ladies is always fantastic—warm, friendly, and they make you feel right at home. The Nosh Bowl is absolutely delicious (highly recommend it!), and everything always tastes fresh and made with care. It’s one of our favorite spots in town, and we look forward to every visit!
Zac W — Google review
I had high hopes for a great deli sandwich and I was told my best bet in Nashville would be Noshville. I ordered the New York Half pound pastrami on rye. If I had received the sandwich I got at an Arby's it might have been acceptable. But at $18 for this sad, thinly sliced over-grilled and yet somehow still chewy pastrami, this had been a mistake. I had to ask for some mustard since it didn't come with but I'd become accustomed to that since my fries arrived long after my sandwich and were sadly quite cold. If you're looking for an authentic Deli sandwich, this place ain't it.
Ted F — Google review
Old fashioned deli restaurant is hard to find these days. Don’t have to go to New York for great food. Matza Ball soup was delicious. Latka was fantastic. Pastrami was awesome! It’s so good!
Vikki V — Google review
I've been wanting to come to Noshville Delicatessen for years, so when my friend canceled on me, I did not change my plans. I arrived around 9:45, and I was seated immediately by a very fun host. My server was April, and she was kind, attentive, and even a little funny also. I ordered black coffee and water, as is my usual. They arrived quickly, and I ordered my breakfast: lox, eggs, and onions. I chose the everything bagel and to keep the potatoes as my side. This was an excellent choice! The potato cakes were perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The lox, eggs, and onions paired wonderfully with the potatoes in what was just simply a perfect bite. As an afterthought, I think a touch of sour cream may have topped it off, but it really didn't need anything else. They have it and I totally could have ordered some. I might next time. The lox was so delicious that I ordered some extra to go with my everything bagel I am taking home. All together, this was $28 + tip, which is pretty affordable for 2 breakfasts in Nashville, and my breakfast was pretty quick. I paid and got my takeaway lox before 10:30! They've been in business since 1996 for a reason. Though 1996 doesn't seem that long ago, it's apparently been quite a while 🤣🤷

An amazing delicatessen in Nashville you say? Yes, please! If you’re in the mood for breakfast be sure to try an omelet, bagel or pancakes. Or better yet have ALL three! 😉 Their Rueben (homemade corned beef or turkey) is what a lot of people enjoy, it’s kinda what they are known for! They aren’t as large as a Katz or Carnegie, but you won’t have to dislocate your jaw to have a bite! Be sure to enjoy some pickles!

Situated in the 5th & Broadway complex, Sixty Vines is a casual New American kitchen and wine bar that offers a dynamic selection of over 60 wines from around the world, all on tap. The spacious and modern surroundings provide a perfect setting to relax with your favorite glass of wine. With a seasonal menu featuring fresh ingredients, including artisanal pizzas and shareable small plates, this spot strikes a chic balance between rustic and modern.
Sixty Vines was such a great find in Nashville located upstairs in the food hall, and super easy to get to taking the stairs or elevator! I loved the nature-inspired decor, filled with greenery and natural light that gives it a fresh, airy vibe. They gave us the option to sit inside or outside on the rooftop. We chose inside to beat the heat, which was perfect for our group. My sister had raved about the Sixty Vines near her in Boca Raton, and we were both excited to see this location held similar high standards for food and service. The service was lightning fast, and every dish we ordered came out perfectly. The food was delicious. We ordered lots of flavorful small plates that were fun to share like the hummus and truffle potatoes, and the cocktails were spot on! We really liked the pizza and pink drinks too! I also really appreciated being able to make a reservation ahead of time, which guaranteed us a table and kept us right on track with our jam-packed itinerary. Overall, it is an ideal dining choice for lunch or dinner in Nashville for great vibes, yummy food, and a relaxed yet elevated atmosphere.

Sixty Vines at Assembly Food Hall in downtown Nashville has a fantastic location, easy access, and a beautiful, stylish atmosphere. The food was excellent — well-prepared and delicious, definitely a high-end dining experience. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing. It seemed like the staff lost interest the moment I chose not to order wine, which took away from an otherwise great visit. I’d return for the food and vibe, but I hope for a more professional and welcoming service next time.

We flew into town for birthday week. This was our first night choice for dinner. The fried zucchini is out of this world. Hubby loved the pizza. My strip steak was not fatty or tough, the pickled cherry topping was an unbelievable surprise to my palate. Highly recommend. Our server Marissa was absolutely outstanding!! When you don’t want typical bar food. This has it all….ambiance, atmosphere, good food, awesome service….we will be back before flying home ❤️

What a lovely respite from the din on Broadway! We were looking for some place quiet and a less caloric option for lunch. We were so excited to find SALAD in Nashville!! We ordered two different kinds of salad and they were so fresh and delicious. For an appetizer we were served a yummy ricotta cheese with warm "pita like" flat bread and local honey. Noah was excellent as our server! Everything was great! We sat outside on their beautiful rooftop! I enclosed one picture, but there are many tables and a much larger area with couches and large chairs. Very inviting!

We stopped in with a group of six and after a short wait on a Wednesday night they were able to seat us. We had a variety of dishes off the menu. While everything was good the desserts were the hit of the table. Excellent selection of wines and well balanced cocktails. A couple of our dishes did arrive with the others. Once grabbing our server's attention she quickly got the missing dishes. Highly recommend stopping in and giving them a try.

A wine and dine experience that’ll have you coming back for more. The menu is packed with fantastic wine options—by the glass, bottle, or 2.5 oz pours—so you can sample a few different varietals without overcommitting. The live piano music adds to the overall dining experience, creating an inviting ambiance. Known for its exceptional steaks and traditional steakhouse fare, Halls Chophouse is a standout destination for fine dining in Nashville. Guests can expect outstanding food, perfectly cooked steaks, and generous sides meant for sharing.
First time eating at Hall’s and I can’t wait to come back! We had wonderful food and our servers were amazing. The steak tartare was the best I’ve had! Highly recommend.

We enjoyed dinner and drinks at Halls Chophouse. Joey was behind the bar and he did a great job sharing information about the each drink of the Old Forester flight my husband had. He was very knowledgeable about the food and offered great recommendations. We enjoyed Joey's service so much that we canceled our reservation in the dining room and stayed for dinner at the bar. Bone in filet, bison, and caramel cake were all good, too. I just forgot to take pictures of them.

Halls Chophouse has the BEST steaks in Nashville. My husband and I love a good steakhouse, and we think Halls is the best one we’ve tried here. We ordered wet-aged ribeye and filet mignon, a lobster tail, shrimp, lobster mac and cheese, and sweet potato fries. Everything was perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. All of the servers were extremely kind, and Matt, one of the managers, was a pleasure to chat with. His genuine service definitely enriched our experience. Matt sent us home with sorbets to celebrate our recent marriage, and they were just as delightful as the main courses. This has become our go-to date night spot for special occasions. Thank you Halls for making our night so special!

This was our 4th celebration at Halls, but first with the Nashville location. We sat in the bar area and enjoyed music from Henry. He accepted requests, & did a great job on a few of our favorites. The service from Bailey was phenomenal. She had us laughing the entire time and was great with making the experience personal with including our son in the conversations. The food, the reason we come… the steak was amazing, the mashed potatoes were phenomenal, and the chopped salad and bread pudding are the entire reason I would drive from Ga to have. You cannot go wrong with these!!! We look forward to many more celebrations spent here!

Stopped in for dinner last week. I ordered the 16oz wet-aged ribeye which was seasoned well. My co-workers had the 20oz dry-aged Kansas City Strip and the 6oz grass-fed filet. We had garlic spinach and the pepper jack creamed corn skillet for the table. The creamed corn is a must have. Great steaks combined with awesome service. Can't wait to go back.

Thank you Halls for making part of our 10 year anniversary so special from the very knowledge server to the manager checking on us to make sure everything was perfect. I highly recommend dining with Halls. Food was delicious. Our steaks were cooked to perfection! The chopped salad is amazing. The brussel sprouts just scrumptious!
Lyman P — Google review
We've been planning a dinner at Halls for months and finally had the opportunity to do so. It's one of six U.S. locations of this regional chain and the only location outside South Carolina. They've gained a reputation as one of the best steakhouses in Nashville, even featuring the most expensive bottle of wine and the most expensive dish in town. Unfortunately, despite impeccable service and an elegant interior, the food did not live up to the hype! It wasn't even close! Now, have my visits to every one of the top 25 steakhouses in America jaded me? Has experiencing Michelin-starred restaurants and eating beef in at least 50 countries and all 50 states set a standard that few restaurants can measure up to? Maybe. But the more I reflect on this meal, the more I conclude that this is about Halls falling flat rather than my lofty standards. At least five steakhouses in Music City have sufficiently impressed me despite my vast experiences. And let's just say when you drop $80 at Halls for a dry-aged ribeye steak cooked medium and it comes out chewy, even tough in places, burnt in spots and partially inedible, even someone with little steak-consuming experience would feel cheated. Any cut of beef that runs $5 per ounce or more should NEVER evoke the word inedible! And when the server asks you to cut into your steak to ensure that it's cooked to your liking, but it takes a minute just to force a very sharp steak knife through the beef, that's a major warning sign!! The truffle butter is excellent and somewhat saved the disappointing steak, coming in a tremendous portion size. But the Hollandaise is very bland, seemingly butter and egg yolk without a hint of lemon nor spices. My parents were chefs, and they always stated that the quality of a restaurant's Hollandaise is a good indication of the chef's talent or lack thereof. And this was definitely lacking. The scallops are surprisingly small. The calamari appetizer is good but lacks our favorite part, the deep-fried tentacles. The crab soup isn't mind blowing but it's definitely good enough. The salmon was shockingly dry. And the loaded baked potato was superb but probably needed more cheese. Although, the cheddar was noticeably of excellent quality. We dined with two chefs who are friends of ours, and they echoed their dissatisfaction. Realistically, this was probably a three-star meal or just under. But when you're paying over $400 for a party of four that drank little alcohol, and when other steakhouses in Nashville execute fine dining MUCH better, you feel like you just wasted your money. Hence, Halls deserves the two-star review.

Café Intermezzo in Nashville is a charming European-style coffeehouse located in the SoBro area, offering a peaceful escape from the bustling downtown scene. The café boasts an array of delectable pastries and a variety of coffee drinks, including French press service, cappuccinos, lattes, and liqueur-infused beverages. It provides an opportunity to take a break and savor unique dishes and desserts from The Beverage Book.
Cafe Intermezzo is an absolute gem in Nashville, truly transporting you to a sophisticated European cafe experience! ☕✨ The food is beyond delicious; it's decadent and delightful. I especially loved the Smoked Salmon Benedict, which was perfectly prepared and incredibly flavorful. Paired with a calming Egyptian Chamomile tea 🍵, it was the ideal escape. This spot is perfect for anyone seeking a taste of European elegance and exceptional quality right in the heart of the city. Highly recommend! 💖🍳

Finally ate here. I’m glad I did. This place is so good. The coffees are amazing. Best coffee spot in downtown Nashville by far. Breakfast is a great value. I had eggs Benedict. It was delicious. Service was amazing. The atmosphere is very quaint and has a good European flavor to it.

This was by far my favorite place we ate on our vacation. It was my birthday and I was dying to find a spot in Nashville for a good piece of cake after most of the regular bakeries closed. We ended up trying some of the appetizers and tea and hot cocoa as well and everything was beyond delicious. I have never had a more delicious spinach dip in my life. And the cake definitely did not disappoint either! The staff was super nice. There were also a couple quirky things that made me laugh. There's a speaker in the bathroom that teaches you how to count in French like Duolingo. And a projector in the dining room showing a slideshow of completely unrelated photos and paintings for absolutely no reason at all. Overall, a great affordable tea and dessert spot!

Best restaurant in Nashville! I eat here every time I travel here! We’ve never waited more than 30 minutes. Reasonably priced and beautiful atmosphere. Food is INCREDIBLE. Love the rosemary potatoes.

We had just taken refuge from our walk. The servers were very good and the tiramisu and the cheesecake was excellent. We unfortunately didn't try anything else, but am sure it would have been good. The staff were very attentive and helpful. Hats off to them

This is the most wonderful place to eat in Nashville. The moment you walk in you are transported from the busy streets of the city to a world of peace and charm. The service is always so polite and bubbly. The atmosphere is incomparable in this fine establishment. Every item on the menu is memorable, and reasonably priced for a downtown Nashville eatery. I can’t recommend a place more, you will not be disappointed.

Riley is the warm and smiling face of the cafe, she always so friendly and welcoming! Servers and bartenders were great (Brandon was awesome, so was Faith). The drinks were delicious. We have stayed at the Placemakr several times and never realized it was right there. They also have a great happy hour.

I ordered a large ciocolocino (sp?) Last night to go. They had a small waiting for me and offered to remake it but I told them I was fine if they just wanted to make an additional small, as not to be wasteful. The lady I talked to while another girl made it was courteous and this would have been an exchange with all friendly staff, but with the additional chocolate came some other matter that was unfamiliar. There was something in my additional drink that had the feel of synthetic film with a redish-amber appearance, kind of like a cross between a lee press-on nail and the skin of a dried, cayenne pepper. I threw it away when I felt it in my mouth. There were also these little white pieces of something that had the consistency of a finely sliced nut. I was able to take a picture of the residue lumped in with the leftover chocolate; you be the judge:

Ruby Sunshine is a brunch restaurant in Nashville with delicious food and drinks made from the recipes of owner/chef Debbie Sterling, who hails from New Orleans. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating, making it perfect for those mild spring days or autumn weekends. They offer classic buttermilk pancakes topped with a scoop of cane syrup butter, filled pancakes with applewood-smoked bacon, as well as classic breakfast items like eggs benedict, French toast, and more.
Gayshea was AMAZING!!! The food here was also really amazing! Her service is impeccable! This was my first time here, visiting while my sister was at Vanderbilt. If ever in the area, I will return! All because of the service alone! Thanks for the recommendations and the conversations!!!

Shout out to Dee who was an outstanding waitress! She was very friendly and helpful with menu recommendations. The food was fresh and hot! Everyone love their meals. Green tomatoes are a MUST TRY! We ended up ordering two more of them lol. Great food and great experience!
Fulbrie — Google review
I was in town for a football game and decided to try Ruby Sunshine — and I’m so glad I did! The food was fantastic. I ordered The Little Easy, which comes with eggs cooked to your preference, bacon, and a pancake — the perfect portion. I also tried the boozy iced coffee, and it was absolutely delicious. The service was excellent. Our server, Alyssa P, was incredible — attentive, friendly, and efficient. I also noticed how hard the entire team was working; even with the restaurant packed, everyone was hustling and keeping things moving. We waited about 45 minutes for a table, which wasn’t bad considering how busy it was. The atmosphere made up for it — the décor is charming, from the whisk-shaped light fixtures to the bacon-and-egg wallpaper in the bathroom. One small note: during our wait, we did notice a few empty tables that sat uncleared for quite a while, which might have contributed to the longer wait time. Overall, though, it was a great experience — delicious food, excellent service, and a fun, lively vibe. I’d definitely go back!

We are never disappointed here! Whether we order our usual favorites or try something new, the food is always delicious. We’ve visited this location and others, and the quality is consistently excellent. The service is top-notch, and we love that it’s dog-friendly — they even bring out water for our pups! The mimosa flight was fantastic, and the Bloody Mary was just as good. Everything here is simply so good! This is one of our favorite spots whenever we’re in town.

The hot honey chicken on a biscuit is great. I opted for fruit instead of the potatoes. My son had the peacemaker (2 eggs benedict) and my friend had the southern breakfast (2 eggs, bacon, grits, and a biscuit). They said it was delicious. Service was very slow and it was very noisy. The prices were fairly reasonable.
Jennie R — Google review
Food was okay, I recommend but not as my first choice. I definitely had better food and service in this city elsewhere. Large menu, lots of options but the food took a while, waited close to an hour for food after ordering and dishes were simple for a breakfast spot. (Biscuit breakfast sandwich, tots, avocado toast, and candied bacon). The place was large with lots of seating, I sat at the counter so I was sat immediately and there was always counter seats available. Indoor and outdoor seating was also available. While I sat there for an hour, I didnt see food consistently being sent out, seemed to be a bit of a pacing problem as I was able to put my order in immediately. The staff was friendly, and the food was good, I probably won't return with the pacing I experienced.

The food at Ruby Sunshine is fantastic and the hospitality is even better. Sarah made me feel right at home. It's a special occasion when food triggers emotion and the grits here are like a warm hug. The menu has a little something for everyone. It was hard to choose from their NOLA inspired selections because it all sounded so good. If you're on your way to Ruby Sunshine, you're in for a treat.

What a great find! We originally went to the pancake house across the street, but the line was way too long — so we tried Ruby Sunrise instead, and I’m so glad we did! The service was fantastic, and the food was incredible. The breakfast tacos were packed with flavor and came in a generous portion. The cheese grits were hands down the best I’ve ever had — perfectly creamy and seasoned just right. And don’t skip the NOLA-style vanilla iced coffee — it’s a must-have! My only regret is not snapping a photo before I devoured everything.

Overall: a new brunch favorite with delicious food with minimal wait Food: fresh ingredients and flavorful sauces Service: staff is extremely friendly and attentive; they check on you but are not annoying. Wait: we had zero wait, which was refreshing after first going to Butter Milk Ranch and being told it was 3-3.5HR wait with prices 30-40% higher. Atmosphere: patio has ample picnic table seating, which is great for days with nice weather; its also great that you walk up to order food (zero wait); this makes for a much more efficient dining visit Improvement opps: my green eggs benny dish was delicious, though i recommend offering one side dish as included at this current price OR drop the price 1-2 dollars. It’s a tad high for one biscuit split with an egg and some sauce. Stay Golden > Butter Milk Ranch

First of all, our bartender was Chandler, who provided perfect service during our visit. Efficient service along with awesome personality. We recognized him from a stop from the night before at his other bar gig. The HH deals were great ($5 wine and beer and food specials), and his drinks were fantastic. I hope he is behind the bar when you go here. I really liked the crab dip. Plenty of bread, and tasty dip. I enjoyed my burger, as I had heard it was a go-to. It makes an appearance on my favorite burger list. Solid, and I would recommend. The wife had the Caesar, which was not as good, but tough to compare the salad with my burger. This place is the restaurant of the Dream Hotel, and the atmosphere was great, and the location is obviously in a great area. I only dock it a rating point because of the Caesar and because the fries with my burger were subpar. Definitely recommend, we will come back during our next visit, and see you there...

The food was decent my favorite dish I ordered was the cinnamon roll although it was a just a little dry. The avocado toast I only ate half of because it was so salty maybe a bad day to order it lol. Overall everything was decent like service, music, drinks were watery and not refilled unless asked. Also we were celebrating a friends birthday and were stuck in the most basic part of the restaurant with 0 thought of what would make the birthday girl extra happy. I’ll be back but definitely not with a group.

Looking for a late night option that had no age restrictions but also a bar. Don't worry not everyone was drinking. Mozzarella stocks and pretzel bites were very good. Loaded and philly fries great as well. Open air deck type atmosphere. Lots of sports on tvs . Music was good volume. Parking was a bit of an issue. However we are from out of town and just not used to paid lots everywhere. We did end up finding some available street parking though. This was a cute little area and much less crazy than downtown. Clean bathroom, great service

Bottle Cap on 12th Ave S is a fantastic spot in Nashville! The restaurant, set in an old converted automotive garage, has such a cool vibe that instantly draws you in. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, perfect for enjoying a meal with friends or family. You absolutely have to try the fried pickles—they're to die for! Crispy, flavorful, and the perfect balance of tanginess, they’re easily one of the best appetizers I’ve had. The menu offers a great selection of comfort food, and everything we tried was delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive, making our experience even better. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, Bottle Cap is a must-visit for a memorable dining experience. I can’t wait to go back and try more of their delicious offerings! And if you were a fan of divers drive-ins and dives, Guy, fieri was actually at this location to do an episode. He painted a sheet pan tray of himself and it's hanging on the wall just inside the entrance.

Visited Bottle Cap for a girls brunch on a Saturday around 1030 AM. I was unsure of the parking situation but found limited spots in the back of the Restaurant. I am not sure if this is available to customers or not but its where I ended up. There were 8 of us including myself, we were seated right away. At this time in the morning there was still ample seating with a very relaxed casual atmosphere. Since we were celebrating a birthday in our group, we ordered "Breakfast Shots". It felt like a very long time between the time we ordered the shots and when they arrived but there were 7 shots which probably took some time to make. The minute the waiter arrived with the shots a guest at the neighboring table threw her arm back and knocked the entire tray of shots out of the waiters hand all over two of our party. Absolutely not his fault but a huge inconvenience in and of itself. When he brought back the replacement shots, we placed our orders. While we waited for our food, the restaurant started to fill. All the tables were full and there was a lot of hustle and bustle, but still a comfortable casual atmosphere. This is when what we thought was live music came in and set up. It was not live music but a DJ who played club music. It was so loud we could not even have a conversation with each other at our table. For a Saturday brunch, I expected easy country or folk, it was legit club mixes. Instead of the mimosa feel in the afternoon, it was like we were closing out the bar at 2 AM. Now here we are watching all the other tables that came in after us get our food, our waiter was no where to be found. When he finally came over to apologize about the wait, we ask what was taking so long. We were told that they had run out of waffle mix for the Chicken and waffles, but that they were making some more. We ask if we could get our other food since we were all hungry and had waited over an hour already. Some of our food started to come out, delivered by a different waiter. Each of our items came with something missing. Pancakes with no syrup or butter. No silverware. And still no Chicken and Waffles. The waiter that wasn't ours helped up quite a bit. He told us that they were out of Chicken and Waffles and we might want to get with our server to choose something else. Our waiter still said that they were making more batter but by this time we were frustrated and hungry and ask to cancel the order. The food that we did get was just average bar food. The Wake and Steak was just Steak Ums with an Egg and peppers. It was greasy and just texturally weird. Pancakes were fine but nothing special. The French Fries were good, fresh cut but the toppings on the cheese fries again was just basic bar fare with little flavor. Overall, great club vibe but at 1030/11 AM on a Saturday with Mimosas, it just didn't work. Food was nothing to write home about and the service was lacking. I did appreciate the other waiter who helped us and that our server did offer us a discount on our meals. Wouldn't be back for Brunch but would try it again for a Late night Beer.

Monell's Dining and Catering is a beloved Southern comfort food restaurant located in a beautifully maintained Victorian house in Germantown. The family-friendly eatery offers all-you-can-eat Southern fare served family-style, creating a convivial atmosphere for guests to enjoy hearty country-style breakfast or brunch. With communal tables and dishes passed around for sharing, the restaurant provides an authentic dining experience.
This joint is amazing all around. If you've never been to a place like this, you are in fir one hell of an experience. Amazing food, great service, and interesting company. You're seated with a table of other folks, and the dishes of grub get passed around the table. You grab what you want from the dish and hand it off to the next person. The best part are the conversations that come out of being sat with strangers. You never know who you'll meet or what you'll learn.

This is a must visit dining spot. The experience of eating with others makes it so special. You sit with a group of about 12 people and the food is served family style. The server brings out the plates and everyone passes them around, which reminded me so much of family gatherings and Thanksgiving. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was attentive and friendly. Such a fun and memorable way to enjoy a meal.

Their sign out front says it best: “Enter as strangers, leave as friends.” And it couldn’t be more true! The food was absolutely awesome — good old-fashioned Southern comfort served family style. You sit down at a big table with 10–12 other folks, pass the food around, and before long you’re chatting and laughing like you’ve known each other for years. We’re from out of town, so being “forced” to meet new people made it even better. The service was fantastic, the atmosphere warm and welcoming, and the entire experience something truly special. If you’re ever in Nashville, make Monell’s a must-stop. You won’t just leave full… you’ll leave with new friends.

First time coming to Monell’s and wow I was not expecting this. I’m from the Midwest so I already knew southern hospitality was a thing and was so excited. You walk in and they sit you at a huge table with total strangers and everyone just shares food like it’s Thanksgiving! They’re from all across the world or just neighbors. At first it felt kind of weird but then you get used to it fast and it felt homey. They give you so much food like I’m multiple courses and will give you more if you ask. Appetizers, main dishes, sides, dessert cake at the end. It’s all you can eat and super affordable. I think it was around 15 to 20 per person which is wild for how much you get. There’s something for everyone. I’m not vegetarian but I noticed there were plenty of options! The vibe was really welcoming. All ages, all races, everyone!! The workers are so so friendly too! Insanely nice and I understand southern hospitality now :)

Driving through Nashville on our way home from vacation and we randomly picked this place for brunch. I was expecting a long wait however it wasn't long at all considering we didn't have a reservation .They serve everything family style and you sit at a large table with other patrons so be prepared to make friends. The pan fried chicken, peach preserves 🍑, fresh country sausage and fluffy biscuits were my favorite part. This is a southern comfort, all you can eat delight! Not to mention the house is charming and the price is cheap for all the food you get! 🤩

Monell's family style dining is not just a meal, it's an experience. Their sign says "Enter as strangers and leave as friends." As customers arrive, they are seated at a large table until the table is full. There were three different groups seated at a table for ten. Then food is brought out and passed around the table. We lunched on a Thursday afternoon around two o'clock and were seated immediately. The meal consisted of delicious sweet corn bread that was almost like cake, biscuits, butter, preserves, cole slaw, cheesy mac and cheese, corn pudding, green beans (these were so good, cooked in some kind of broth), pineapple casserole, fried chicken, tender barbecue chicken, roast beef, and gravy with bread pudding for dessert. We were all stuffed. I also enjoyed the beautiful landscaping, the antique furniture, murals, and teapot collection. Highly recommend if you stop to eat in Nashville.

The Listening Room is absolutely a must-do experience when visiting Nashville. The live music is top-notch, offering an intimate setting to enjoy talented performers — a real gem for music lovers. Now, why not five stars? Let’s talk drinks. I know you’re not coming here just for the cocktails, but if you’re going to offer them, at least make them decent. My Old Fashioned was a letdown — served in a glass packed with ice, barely filled to the halfway mark. The Mule didn’t fare much better. If you’re visiting, I’d recommend sticking to beer or wine instead. On the bright side, the food exceeded expectations. I ordered the three-meat platter and was seriously impressed — the BBQ alone would make Nashville proud. Bottom line: come for the music, stay for the food, and maybe skip the cocktails.

The show was great! 3 professional songwriters, performing songs they had written and many had been recorded by stars like Blake Shelton and Luke Combs. The stage and seating area was small enough that everyone had a great seat. The food was good, not great, and the service was above average. This is a "must do" in Nashville.

Service and music were good. The Rooster pasta is the dish to order. The barbecue is not good so skip it. The baked beans were delicious, the steamed broccoli fresh. The bourbon caramel brownies is a sundae so not shareable the way you would expect but very tasty. Would go again.

This place is a must do when in Nashville. The food and drinks were fantastic! If you don't try the Honky Tonk Mule and the Piggy Mac Ride, you're not even trying at life! The stories and music were so much fun to listen to. We truly had a blast here and can't wait to visit again.

This a an authentic singer / song writer experience. There is a ticket price and food & drink minimum. We spent $30 each and had an excellent time. While eating and enjoying cocktails, each song writer explains a little about themselves and the emotions and message that was the inspiration for their original work . You could hear a pin drop as they talk and sing. The amount of talent is astonishing....there is an abundance in Nashville, but this is an intimate version of entertainment showcasing super talented artists.

Fun place! There was someone playing music when we walked in. We ordered at the bar, Tommy was very friendly. He took us to the backroom and said this is what the listening room is all about. They have shows at different times during the day. The shows are song writters singing their songs and telling their stories.

Located away from “Broadway” we paid $15 to watch live entertainment in the back room. The entertainment was great, the food was ok. I order a salad with grilled chicken, but was served ground cooked chicken. They took it back and brought me an another selection.

Nestled in the vibrant SoBro-Downtown area of Nashville, Sun Diner is a charming 24-hour eatery that celebrates the rich legacy of Sun Records and its iconic artists. This nostalgic diner offers an array of classic Southern dishes alongside hearty breakfast options, making it a go-to spot for any meal at any hour. From smoked salmon quesadillas to indulgent donut breakfast sandwiches, there's something to satisfy every craving.
Great food. The portions were insane. Fun place and concept. You have to stand in line and they call you up when the seats are ready. It's 3 bar style seating areas where the waitress is in the center to serve everyone. Food came out fast and I was happy. Would definitely return on my next Nashville visit.

Classic Nashville Diner Vibes with a Bacon-Heavy Menu We were in Nashville for just a day and wanted that classic diner experience—this place was it! The atmosphere is charming and music-themed, with a nod to Sun Records. The menu offers fresh, homemade Southern classics at fair prices. The only downside: if you don’t eat pork, options are limited. Most dishes include bacon or sausage by default and aren’t easy to modify. We ended up swapping sausage for mushrooms in the breakfast burrito, and ordering the avocado toast. Both were delicious, and I’d recommend it. Overall, a great stop for a true Nashville feel, just be aware if you have dietary restrictions.

Food was great and experience was great too! It came with a bit of a learning curve, lol, as it was our first time there — there was no line at 9am on a Saturday, and we walked in and were greeted and instructed to wait on “the wall”. We were the only ones on the wall when we had gotten there, and after a few minutes, a couple had finished and had gotten up, so we sat down in their space. After a few minutes seated, we were “educated” that you’re not to sit until they clear the counter and invite you to sit there — so just learn from us, lol. Our service and waitress was great!

If you’re looking for a great early morning breakfast spot in Nashville, Sun Diner is it! It has that classic old-school diner feel but with a fun, unique twist to the menu. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming — perfect for starting your day before Broadway gets busy. We ordered the banana blueberry pancakes, and they were amazing — perfectly fluffy with this incredible cinnamon butter syrup that took them over the top. The make-your-own omelet was to die for, packed with fresh ingredients and cooked just right. Coffee was excellent too — strong, smooth, and exactly what you want in a diner. The only downside is they don’t serve liquor, so no Bloody Marys in the morning. They do offer a few beers, but I’m not much of a beer person that early. Still, the food and service more than make up for it! There was no wait when we arrived early, but it was getting pretty crowded by the time we left, so I definitely recommend going early if you can. Overall, such a great spot — highly recommend stopping by for breakfast when you’re in Nashville! ☕🥞🍳

Traditional style American diner, in the centre of Nashville. Serves breakfast and lunch, with a Nineteen fifties vibe with matching decor, playing classic C&W songs. Food is served around three central counters, and was very tasty. Recommend the Chicken Waffles with maple syrup.Service was very friendly and efficient, with coffee refills provided without being asked for. Well worth a visit.

The pork belly breakfast tacos were delicious. The menu is small but on point. I did see a review that did mention limited meat options other than pork and I can confirm that is correct. But the pork belly is awesome! Service decor and food all five stars! The Johnny Cash museum is next door to boot

Henley, located inside the Kimpton Aertson Hotel in Midtown, offers a stylish dining experience with New American cuisine and inventive cocktails. The concept of Henley is to create a welcoming atmosphere akin to a convivial Southern home. The bar is strategically placed near the front door next to the patio, allowing for constant interaction with skilled bartenders who can craft custom cocktails or offer specialties from their innovative menu.
This is truly a hidden gem. The happy hour is so incredible. We ordered the French onion dip, the goat cheese spread and the dynamite chicken. Those three items were delicious, hot and fresh. We also ordered a Black Pearl cocktail, followed by the soup and crab toast. We were pleasantly pleased by all the tasty food and the service was wonderful. Mo went above and beyond to connect with us, and make us feel welcome. She told us she was from Cincinnati, and learning the area, but she already has learned the Nashville Southern hospitality. Thank you, Mo! I will be recommending this location to all my clients.

I visited Henley on an impromptu trip to Nashville for a Goldman Sachs engagement. I'd heard the chef had appeared on a prominent television show, and was pleased to find the crab toast and chicken leg confit delightful and served promptly, despite the coinciding Vanderbilt graduation. While I sought a sweet wine pairing and received no recommendation, the overall dining experience was positive.

We booked the Chef’s booth near the kitchen to celebrate a new grand baby with our other grandparents & it was perfect! The cozy booth is hidden behind a secret doorway which is fun. The staff & food were amazing. The kitchen staff & manager visited us & congratulated us. Highly recommend & worth the xtra fee to book the booth. Last note is that I had the Chef’s choice 3 course meal & it was great!

9/20/2025 stopped by here for dinner. This place wasnt busy at all for a Saturday night which was strange. I ordered the pork belly appetizer and for entrée I ordered the trout, banana pudding, and crab pasta. The trout and crab pasta were both delicious. Unfortunately the banana pudding with bacon in it was not appealing, at all. Doesn't need bacon for any reason. The waitress seemed rushed and constantly came to our table which was a bit much. We ordered drinks and it took too long, I looked over at the bar and the bar tender was yapping instead of making drinks. I am thinking they have service problems here causing this place not to be busy.

The cocktails and the pork belly were good. Service was fast and attentive. The main meals were not great though. Pappardelle tasted super earthy and was slightly cold. Chicken confit was ok but the sides were bland. Ordered an extra side of broccolini and we only ate one piece, no seasoning and overly chargrilled. If you go just get drinks and apps.

The Pfunky Griddle is a unique daytime cafe located in Berry Hill that offers a one-of-a-kind dining experience. At this quirky restaurant, diners become the cooks as they are seated at tables with built-in griddles in the center. Guests are provided with all the necessary ingredients to prepare their own breakfast, including eggs, milk, and bread. The menu features all-you-can-eat pancakes with a choice of 25 toppings, allowing patrons to customize their meal to their liking.
I absolutely loved our breakfast at The Phunky Griddle during our Nashville trip! It was such a fun surprise to have a place where you can actually cook your own pancakes and breakfast right at your table. I was a bit nervous at first, but it turned out to be a blast and everything was delicious. I had plenty of batter for pancakes, and next time I’d just double up on those hash browns because they were so good! The coffee with steamed milk was fantastic too. This unexpected side quest turned out to be an awesome addition to our trip! Overall, it was a 10/10 experience and I’d definitely recommend it for a fun breakfast outing!

Cooking your own pancakes and eggs is fun. I just wish that our experience was better. Some hits were the eggs were fresh, the pancakes were tasty and the OJ was good. The misses: the table was sticky, the window ledge was dirty, lacking napkins and our server was not attentive. My partner called our server over after the third time coming into the room without acknowledging us trying to get their attention. I ordered the pancakes and the topping served in this tiny plastic cup is not enough for the amount of pancake batter. Just be aware that you can refill the pancakes but if you enjoy toppings in your pancakes that will be an extra cost. It does say that on the menu but for that charge the amount you receive is disappointingly small. Overall the food was decent but the experience wasn’t great.

What a fantastic time! While there are plenty of options for food already cooked, the experience of cooking your own with others around your table was a blast! The service was great. The ingredients (batter, bread, etc) were all fantastic. 10/10 would recommend this restaurant!

So much fun. Such good food. Wonderful service. What else could you want? Oh yeah, free parking in a private lot. This is the kind of place where you get all you can eat flapjacks, and you get the family fun of cooking them at your table. Same with hash browns. Some of the stuff is cooked in back, but you come here for the experience. It’s a good time. The batter and toppings were great. The coffee was good. The bacon and biscuits and gravy were all awesome. Definitely a fun place to go to with a group.
Jason K — Google review
This was our third time visiting in the last two years and it was a great experience once again! First tip- check the waitlist on their website!!! They are very busy on weekends especially. Their lot can get filled quickly on those days, but there are free parking options all around! We all did “the joey” with all you can eat pancakes, two toppings and three sides. They also offer french toast and a few other things as mains that are definitely tempting, but the all you can eat pancakes win me over every time! Our waitress was great- she explained everything thoroughly to a friend that came with us who hadn’t been before and gave us some great tips on cooking our hashbrowns! If you go- definitely cook those first, use butter, and make sure to give them time to cook well before flipping- otherwise they just scatter all over the place and will take longer to get done. We personally love making our own food on the griddles - theres plenty of room for four people to be cooking at once, although I suggest cooking eggs by themselves so theres no crossover with other food, if that kind of thing bugs you. We also love to pour the pancakes into shapes and get a little fun with it. Ultimately, Pfunky is a must stop on any trip to Nashville.
Jasmine T — Google review
I had passed by the Griddle several times and finally decided to stop in. Shabby chic, cottage feel with tons of seating and a cool, cook your own concept. I love interactive things and I like to cook so it is a fun place but, if I'm making my own, load up a bit more grub since I'm doing my own work. Soup was killer, service was great but there simply was not enough cheese for four slices of bread. Here's the Breakdown: Fun interior +1 star; great server +1 star; excellent soup +1 star; appealing to the kid in me +1 star. I would go back for unlimited pancakes!
Glenn H — Google review
What a great experience! Had fun cooking up our own eggs, hashbrowns and pancakes. Everything was super tasty and fresh. The service was spectacular; couldn't outdrink the refills! Don't miss this place!

Such a fun experience. There is a griddle in the middle of table you cook the French toast, pancakes, eggs and hash browns. They cook everything else. The food was amazing, but what a fun experience to do when you’re visiting another city. We will be back next time we visit.

Service was on point. I did not get our servers name unfortunately. Very quick, friendly and professional. The food was amazing! Breakfast tacos were absolutely delicious. What a great experience. We did have a bit of a wait to sit inside though there was an available table outside that we declined. We were happy to wait to eat in the air conditioning. Foods and coffe has always been good. Service is as good as those who provide it...out of the many times I've been there and received great, considerate service I've only questioned one employees service. Otherwise, bar is open to walk in based on availability. Bar has a place to charge if you ask the bartender/barback/server, they can assist with this. Booths and tables you need to wait to be seated. Booths are not cushioned. Teddy Graham and breakfast Tacos are my go to's here.

Neat place. Server was kind but new and couldn’t recommend anything because she hadn’t tried anything. I prefer recommendations by servers at new places but this doesn’t count against them. I tried the chicken salad and it was good. My son had a BLT and it was decent but he wouldn’t order it again. The prices were reasonable and all the staff were kind. I would recommend trying it for yourself.

I don’t think they take reservations so be prepared for a wait on busy weekends. I was there on a Sunday and we were seated at the bar. I enjoyed an Americano while we watched the face-paced staff run around getting drinks and running food. So worth it. I went off the recommendation and made the bacon egg fried rice vegetarian and loved it!!! My friend enjoyed the burger and we ordered the baked goat cheese which came out a little late so we packaged it to go (also yummy even later). I love the history of the location. (See photo of the sign). It was a great vibe and even better food. Highly recommend and will return.

I feel like there are a lot of mixed reviews as of late, so I did want to tap in and give the good experience I personally had. Let's start off with they do have parking validation, which I tried to find on their website, but I couldn't and we had paid in the garage by the time we had walked to the door, so a useful bit of information to save yourself some money. The inside of the restaurant is nice, with an open kitchen. At first when I looked at the menu, it is pricier side, but knowing they pride themselves on ingredients I was still interested. As well as my dinner partner being vegan which their menu does accommodate. Our server was awesome, especially when we mentioned we hadn't been there before he gave us a nice little rundown and some recs. I got the Citrus Salmon Salad and the portion size was great. And that dressing was delicious, I need one for my house. Overall good experience and I would come back to try a pizza.
Victoria S — Google review
Food was meh. Sweet potato hash was cold on arrival. Pizza was mostly sauce and bread (I have had authentic margherita pizza and this was a mediocre attempt). Server was alright. Burger with (cold) sweet potato hash + individual pizza + one 6 oz mixed drink + tip = $75 check Things really went south with our experience when we wanted some ice cream for dessert and waited more than 10 minutes for a $5 HALF SPOON to come half melted. The server just kind of dropped it on the table and attempted to scurry off quickly. We could tell he was a little embarrassed himself to drop off something so underwhelming. I can't imagine how he felt dropping that off and then including two spoons. We would each get half a bite and it would be gone. Did they scrape up the last little bit and hope the customer wouldn't say anything? Having family in the restaurant industry and understanding that it's a very challenging business, I am normally very generous with my reviews and I never send food back. But given the price of the meal and one drink and then the insulting $5 half spoon of ice cream at the end, we asked to have it removed from the check and sent it back. Not a busy night. It was a Monday and very few customers. Server said he had to get the manager to remove the ice cream spoon from the check. I would expect the manager to come out and have an honest conversation with a less-than-satisfied customer. Nope. Crickets. We are not from Nashville, but we visit about 3/4 times a year. We do not ever plan to come back to this restaurant.

Edit: The manager, Luke, did get in contact with me and offered a free meal. When it picked it up, it was cooked perfectly and tasted great. I am hoping this means they will be more consistent going forward! Original: I'm bummed to have to write this review! I've previously loved TFK, but their quality has plummeted in the last few months. I only gave two stars because I love their mission with sustainable sourcing and healthy cooking methods, but my meals have been borderline inedible recently. In my most recent order of Ancient Grains Bowl with steak, my steak (that I paid an extra $9 for) was either cooked into oblivion or basically raw--no in between. Most of the sweet potatoes were undercooked to the point of being crunchy. This has been the case with the last 3-4 times I have ordered it. The flavors are great, but the poor cooking makes it inedible. For the price, the quality is absolutely unacceptable.

I had such a wonderful experience at True Food Kitchen thanks to our server, Taylor. From the moment we were seated, Taylor was attentive, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. They made great recommendations and checked in at just the right times without ever being intrusive. The service felt genuine and made our meal that much more enjoyable. Taylor’s professionalism and warm personality truly stood out it’s rare to find someone who clearly takes pride in making sure guests have a great dining experience. I’ll definitely be requesting Taylor the next time I visit!

We had the best experience thanks to our server, Rose! From the moment we sat down, she made us feel welcome and taken care of. She was friendly, professional, and incredibly attentive without ever being overbearing. Rose knew the menu inside and out—her recommendations were spot on, and she made sure everything came out perfectly timed. It’s rare to find someone who genuinely enjoys what they do, but you can tell Rose takes pride in her work. Her positive energy and attention to detail really elevated our entire meal. We’ll definitely be coming back—and asking for Rose every time!

Ordered dinner last night through Door Dash and holy cow, what an incredible disappointment. I ordered the charred cauliflower starter - was good but small. Also got the burger in a lettuce wrap with fries. No tomatoes, onions, etc. were included, the lettuce was wilted and there was literally one piece on each side. The burger itself tasted ok but there was a LOT of sauce on it and it was cold. The restaurant put the fries in the same container, which left them soggy and also cold. I ordered the wild ahi tuna bowl for my husband and while it tasted pretty good, it looked like the restaurant just threw a handful of ingredients into a container. The presentation of all of these foods was AWFUL. I know it was delivery, but when I’m spending $80 on a meal, I expect it to at least be packaged somewhat nicely. We also ordered a chocolate chip cookie for dessert and it was inedible. I have a major sweet tooth, but after one bite, I threw it away. One of the worst cookies I’ve ever had. I used to think True Food was a great option. It’s NOT. It’s crappy food, small portions and overpriced. We won’t go to the restaurant or order from there ever again.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10 — Would risk all my savings to eat here again. Let’s start with Bryce, the bartender. This man doesn’t pour drinks, he performs liquid magic. I asked for something “fun but classy,” and somehow ended up holding a cocktail that made me question every life decision that led me to not being a regular here sooner. I don’t know what was in it, but I’m 80% sure I saw the light. Then there’s Luke, the manager. The man runs the place like Gordon Ramsay’s chill cousin. Everything was smooth, every plate came out hot, and he somehow managed to make sure I was having the best night of my life while probably handling seventeen other crises behind the scenes. The food? Perfect. The vibe? Immaculate. The staff? Angels with aprons. If you’re reading this, just go. Tell Bryce I said hi and tell Luke he deserves a raise (and maybe a crown).

Rowan was our server, and she was absolutely fantastic! From start to finish, the service was top-notch, and the food was outstanding. She even asked me to cut into my filet right after it was served to ensure it was cooked perfectly—something I’ve noticed has been overlooked lately at other steakhouses I’ve visited for work, including Morton’s and Gibson’s in Chicago. Kudos to your staff for that extra touch of hospitality! I highly recommend starting with the tuna tartare—it was fresh and flavorful. My filet was tender and perfectly cooked, my wife loved her salmon, and the broccoli had just the right amount of kick. We finished the night with an Americano before heading to the Artisan Cigar Bar. The manager also stopped by to check on our table, which was a great personal touch. Overall, an excellent experience all around.

Stopped in for breakfast with my childhood bestie this morning and had a great meal! The line was to the street when I walked up at 10, so we were worried about the wait. The line is lightning fast, guys. And there are more seats than you think crammed in that building! Our server was very very busy but kind and attentive. We both ordered 2 drinks (latte and a mocktail for me, coffee and a mimosa for her). Both came out quickly considering the sheer volume of people in there. My lavender oat milk latte was probably the best one I've ever had. And I've had a lot of lavender oat milk lattes. We also both ordered dishes which included sweet potato: a bowl for her and a plate for me. The sweet potatoes were PERFECT. Perfectly cooked and seasoned, and they went with the rest of the dish wonderfully. I added a side of plant-based chorizo to my dish to add a bit more protein and spice. It was a great decision. We'll definitely toss this one in the rotation!

Perfect spot nestled in Nashville. Outdoor seating is very nice and far enough away from the street. The food is outstanding. We drove 40 miles one way 2 days in a row for the breakfast. The sweet potato veggie smash up is amazing. I had mine sans avocados which are part of the dish normally.

Spectacular find!! Snooze is now at the very top of our favorite breakfast joints! Extensive menu of very healthy options, great staff and incredible venue. We love the 60's decor! We both had their Garden Harvest Omlette - spectacular! If you are active duty or retired military they do offer a discount, so be sure to ask and be ready to provide proof.

This place was okay at best, the atmosphere was quiet and the dining area included standard hard chairs for seating. The food was nothing exceptional, eggs ordered over medium were super runny and the matcha, chorizo and biscuits and gravy were just okay and below average. I’d recommend sticking to the pancakes here which several reviewers have mentioned are great. Overall Nashville has better places to eat, but pricing here is friendly and there’s something to be said about that.

Excellent food. Delicious chain that accommodates many food needs. Had this the first time in Boulder. Second time in San Diego. Nashville's is in a great location. Service for my other hometown (20+ years and degrees from Vanderbilt) the service needed to be a bit on top of it with refills and checks. Otherwise, delicious! Great outside dining!

What a cool find in E Nashville area. The vibe was so much fun! The open air bar, dog friendly patio, trendy interior dining room were all fun to sit and watch- while we enjoyed our Bloody Mary’s with our bartender Zack. Chatting up some locals, while deciding which Eggs Benedict to order, made our Sunday Brunch an amazing experience. Thanks Zack for the wonderful service! 5-star friends!

I’ve never had a bad meal here. Everything is so good. From the OMG French toast to bacon but different or Juan’s tacos, there’s something for everyone. Their hosts, servers & bartenders are always on top of their game which makes it an even greater experience. This last visit we had Krislyn as our server and we adored her.

I really wanted to love this place, but unfortunately, it felt like we caught them on an off day. We waited quite a while for our server, which would’ve been fine if it hadn’t felt like we were forgotten after being seated. Our waitress was so inattentive that another server ended up checking us out. The food came out cold, and we had to battle flies the whole time we ate. The eggs Benedict might’ve been better if the tomatoes were grilled, and the table was sticky, which didn’t help the overall experience. For the price, it just didn’t feel worth it—though I will say the staff were kind. I’m willing to give this place one more shot in hopes that this was just a fluke.

Nestled in the heart of downtown, The Finch offers a refreshing take on American cuisine with its casually elegant dining atmosphere. This modern tavern features a beautifully redesigned space that includes four distinct areas: the Solarium, Lounge, Arches, and Marble-Top Center Bar. With garage doors that open to let in fresh air during pleasant weather, it’s an inviting spot for gatherings of any size. Guests rave about their experiences at The Finch, highlighting exceptional service and a vibrant ambiance.
I don’t need to tell you how good this place is. 4.8 stars with thousands of reviews. Believe it!! What I will mention is the level of service. Our server, Bobby, was amazing. He knew the menu thoroughly, offered personal recommendations and gave us the perfect level of attention. He also gave us some great insights into Nashville. He’s a gentleman and a great guy. He made our lunch a great experience.

We had such a great experience at The Finch! Our server Leo was amazing — super friendly, attentive, and made great recommendations all night. We were even seated early for our reservation, which was a nice surprise. The drinks were fantastic, the 12 oz Hawaiian ribeye was tender and packed with flavor, and the filet mignon was perfectly cooked and so juicy. We finished with the seven-layer chocolate cake for a birthday, and it was the perfect ending — rich and delicious. Highly recommend The Finch in Nashville, and definitely ask for Leo!

Phenomenal! Cody was an absolutely fantastic server! … so friendly and attentive! The Finch overdelivered in every way. The atmosphere and music are perfect—you can actually hear each other talk! Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I left feeling full, healthy, and genuinely happy. This is such a feel-good restaurant! I’ll definitely be back and will bring everyone I can with me next time! Thank you!

The vibe of the restaurant is very cool overall. Unfortunately we had to wait about 15 minutes after our reservation time. We were sat at a nice table only to be told they made a mistake and we were moved to a table behind the bar, right by the open kitchen. It kind of killed the vibe. The food was pretty good. We had the oysters, the salmon entree and the shrimp and grits. All were tasty and drinks were pretty good. Not the best meal of my life but enjoyed the food.

THE UNDER THE SEA SHRIMP WAS MY FAVORITE! I nearly ate it by myself. Enjoyed the fish tacos but they needed some type of sauce due to the dryness. The bao buns were amazing as well, flavorful and juicy. That was new to my palate. We had a lovely waitress and a great experience!
Fulbrie — Google review
What a unique and beautifully done restaurant. Went for happy hour where the menu is diverse with lots of appetizers and drinks to chose from at a reasonable price. The entrees were also very delicious while being well priced, not something you get in a lot of nicer restaurants. Inside is beautiful with many textures and colors, and a sort of light airy feeling to the place that made it seem more like an outdoor garden than a restaurant. Will definitely be back to try more dishes! Had the feta appetizer, short rib, and prime rib. All were fantastic!

Made a Sunday night reservation at the last minute and I’m so glad that I did. The wait was pretty long for walk-ins. Our server was friendly and helpful. The food was amazing. We had the volcano rock shrimp. It’s so flavorful and definitely as good as everyone says. The prime rib is super tender and the red fish has amazing flavor. So far it’s one of the best meals we had in Nashville.

Ladybird Taco is a trendy, fast-casual restaurant that serves up delicious breakfast and lunch tacos with house-made tortillas. The menu features a variety of options, including chorizo, scrambled eggs, Monterey jack cheese for breakfast and house smoked brisket, carnitas, and salsa verde for lunch. The brunch menu offers all-day breakfast tacos with toppings like bacon, potatoes, and chorizo. This Austin-inspired eatery also offers queso and coffee to complete the Ladybird experience.
Lady Bird Taco is an absolute gem in Nashville’s food scene. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by the warmest, friendliest staff who make you feel instantly at home. But it’s the food that truly steals the show. Their tacos are nothing short of mind-blowing—crafted on freshly made, in-house tortillas that are soft, flavorful, and the perfect base for their inventive, delicious fillings. Every bite bursts with bold, vibrant flavor that leaves you craving more. To top it off, they serve coffee from Crema, and it’s superb—smooth, rich, and expertly brewed, the perfect complement to any meal. Whether you’re there for a quick bite or a leisurely brunch, Lady Bird Taco delivers on every front. This place isn’t just a taco spot—it’s a full-on experience you’ll want to return to again and again.

On Sunday the local brunch restaurants had almost three hour waits. So we decided to try a donut at five daughter’s bakery and the ladies there suggested lady bird tacos down a few blocks and we were not disappointed!! The service is so fast despite the popularity and the burritos are so fresh as they make the tortillas right in front of you! We got two iced coffees, #2,4,6, and 7. My favorite was #6 and my husband’s was #7 but all were delicious. DONT forget the sauces!! They add so much flavor to an already flavorful burrito.

A truely one of a kind neighborhood eatery with a beautiful dining space. It’s tucked away in a quiet residential community which makes us feel like we are eating in another country or even another era. The food is just as special and we also love the high quality cappuccino machine which they can serve in a ceramic cup. Our favorite item is the lean smoked beef brisket taco which they offer on flour or corn tortilla. Everything is just delicious including the salsa bar. Great employees, management and owner make it all possible. Many thanks to those folks.

Ladybird Taco has a great concept and a nice casual vibe, but the experience felt a little uneven. The tacos were fresh and flavorful, especially the breakfast options, but portion sizes felt small for the price and our tortillas came soggy. Service was friendly, though the wait time was longer than expected considering the small crowd. Don't expect napkins on the table, don't expect a service-first approach. Overall, it’s a good spot for a quick bite, but there are a few details that could be tightened up to make it a standout.

We recently tried Ladybird Taco on a trip to Nashville, and my husband and I both declared it a must every time we take a trip back! The chewy homemade tortillas were perfection, and they were filled generously with delicious scrambled eggs and other creative additions. The coffee was also delicious, the space was clean and had highchairs, and the staff was extremely personable and welcoming!

Great taco place near 12South! A must try because these tacos are delicious and made with fresh ingredients. My favorite part of the breakfast taco were the crunchy potato sticks. Photos are worth more than words, so I uploaded three tacos we tried. All were great! My favorite was the egg and potato (no cheese), my husband’s favorite was the brisket taco.

Ladybird Taco in Nashville is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic breakfast tacos. The freshness of the ingredients truly sets this place apart, and the homemade tortillas are simply outstanding—soft, warm, and packed with flavor. I tried the breakfast taco, and it was a delightful blend of quality ingredients that made every bite enjoyable. The homemade salsas are a highlight as well, offering a range of spiciness that caters to different palates; each one enhanced the taco experience beautifully. I was so impressed that I’d return to Nashville solely to indulge in their tacos again—I could easily devour ten of them! This gem is a standout on any food tour, but it's the kind of place you'll want to revisit again and again. If you’re in the area, don’t miss out on this taco paradise!

Lady Bird Taco on 12th Avenue South is an absolute gem in Nashville! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by a cute and welcoming atmosphere that feels like a true hometown spot. The decor is charming and colorful, creating a vibrant vibe that adds to the experience. Now, let’s talk about the food—specifically, their breakfast tacos. They are absolutely amazing and literally to die for! Each taco is packed with flavor and made with fresh ingredients, making for a perfect start to the day. I tried several different varieties, and each one was better than the last. The combination of textures and flavors is simply unmatched. The staff is friendly and helpful, adding to the overall warmth of the place. It’s clear why everyone loves this spot; it has a genuine feel that keeps you coming back. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Lady Bird Taco is a must-visit for anyone craving delicious breakfast tacos. I can’t wait to return and indulge in more of their fantastic offerings!

Nestled in the charming Berry Hill neighborhood, The Nashville Jam Co. is a delightful brunch destination that perfectly blends classic comfort food with a warm, family-friendly atmosphere. This cozy spot offers an array of traditional Southern breakfast favorites like fluffy biscuits and hearty omelets, but it also invites culinary adventurers to indulge in unique creations such as the Bronut—a decadent cheesecake-stuffed biscuit that's battered and deep-fried, served alongside a luscious blueberry compote.
Some of the, if not the best fried chicken I’ve ever had. This place is located in the middle of a neighborhood and is such a sneaky amazing place. Not only is the chicken amazing but the biscuits are soft and fluffy and the perfect way to keep all the flavors in. Our waitress was also an amazing woman and was telling us stories of her sons and got some good laughs out of us. Could not recommend more!

One of the best little breakfast shops in Nashville. Reasonable prices, big servings, excellent service. Fast. Can’t miss on the banana bread pancakes. Warning: do not come to Nashville if you’re trying to lose weight.

I really enjoyed the breakfast here! I’m a big breakfast person and I was so excited to see a southern breakfast as I’m near Mexico! But I truly enjoyed it and was so happy with my service. I would recommend coming here to anyone planning to visit Nashville. I ordered a two egg breakfast with a pancake on the side and the food is plenty! It can be shared with another person if possible. Very happy with my choice.

Visited here for breakfast! The food and service was phenomenal. The only issues were it was hot inside and some flies were inside which I understand they get in at times. I would highly recommend stopping here for breakfast. I ordered the blueberry pancakes and two eggs over hard. It was hard to pick what to eat because the pics on the digital menu looked so good!!! We also ordered the fried green tomato breakfast wrap and grits. The grits were different, not my favorite. The wrap was delicious ! This place is called The Farmstead now and not The Nashville Jam Co.

It was so good, we went twice! The first time our party went, we did the Taste of the South - incredible amount of food at a great price. The variety was great! The Shrimp & cheesy grits, hashbrown casserole, and French toast were the favorites. 2nd time we went, we all tried something different- I had the Cinnamon Roll Pancakes with Country Ham which would've been plenty for 2 to share.

Awesome spot that is tragically under the radar for its food. Always a great vibe, and the food always comes out as ordered and delicious. Can get packed and crammed inside, making it hard for servers to get to you, but not a deal breaker in my opinion. Great time every time I go.

I have been here many Times, and given this place a chance, but after being overcharged for other people’s drinks because they confuse my tab not once but twice. The quality of the food is unspeakable! Despite it being bar food they really need to change the oil. Like how do you mess u chicken tenders!? I get the gimmick of this but if I wanted to be shoved in a corner with sticky tables and have my drink wrong I’ll go to broadway and see their karaoke 🎤. Thanks but _pass

Came here Saturday in the early afternoon with the intention of doing their brunch. We were REALLY looking forward to coming here specifically on our trip to Nashville because as a queer couple this was recommended highly to us. We were under the impression that this was a woman centered (lesbian) queer bar, and the decor felt inlined with that, so we thought this would be the safest place we felt in Nashville. When we walk in around 1pm, the tables were all full so we decided to go to the bar to order drinks. When we’re at the bar the woman behind the bar completely ignores us and continues to talk to her customer at the bar. Okay no worries wasn’t trying to interrupt. Another woman yells from the back shell be there in a moment, we wait 5 minutes and then a man comes to help us out. My wife and I order a drink each, it was $30 for two amaretto sours. If I had known that those were going to be $15 each we probably would have gotten a speciality cocktail instead. By the time we received our drinks some tables had opened up and we were able to take a booth. The atmosphere and the decorations were very nice and fun, exactly what we were looking for ! A few groups came in shortly after we sat down and were immediately greeted and given menus, so I asked one of the servers for a menu as well (as we had planned for brunch here!) and was told to scan a QR code, okay again no problem. The two other tables were taken care of, able to order and get their food, while no one came back over to our table. Sure we could have gone to the bar to order again, but the bartender was serving the other tables so we felt if they could be served, why couldn’t we? We finished our drinks and sat for another 15 minutes before we decided to leave, as we were getting up and grabbing the glasses to take back to the bar, the bartender asked us if we were doing ok/needed anything. Obviously at this point we were leaving so no we didn’t need anything else. Overall disappointing visit as we were going to eat there and then come back and party that night, but we decided to go somewhere else. We were very very much looking forward to this place and unfortunately we had a better experience on broadway.

A lesbian bar that has actually survived is a true cherished relic these days! We have never had an issue finding parking or getting great service at this spot. I love that you get a sense of community and history of the place right when you step in the door. The bartender was very friendly and helpful. They also serve food and I heard good things, but have not tried it yet. The drinks were a great price and had a strong kick. We will be back and recommend it to friends, make sure you check their instagram for all their events. We will be back to try brunch and watch a drag show for sure. The overall feel of the bar is a unique divey bar meets relaxed local spot where everyone is welcomed.

POC queers. BE CAUTIOUS. This is usually a fun, inclusive place to go while also being in a friendly and safe atmosphere. Tonight, I went to the bar to get me and my gf some drinks while we waited on our karaoke song. I’m standing in a single file line waiting to order. I get to the bar, the bartender walks off then comes back. When she comes back, she skips me then asks the next girl in line her order. I’m thinking she accidentally skipped me, so I say, I was actually next in line. She gets pissed off, acts like I’m yelling at her and causing a scene. Tells me there’s no order, she just takes whoever when clearly there was a line. She proceeds being rude, while treating me like I’m some angry black woman. Then she slams my card on the counter, throws my drinks together and passes them off. If you’re there tonight, 7/12/25, she’s wearing the “daddy” T-shirt with a black cap turned back. Go to the other bartender with brunette hair, pigtails, and colorful. She’s always very friendly and an excellent bartender.

The food was outstanding! Nothing can be said wrong about the food. However, the white lady with the brownish hair.. leaves much to be desired. She wouldn't even greet us let alone didn't want to face us majority of the time while ringing us up. Felt like I was in some 1960s Life episode of when integration first started! When I tell y'all this young girl did not want to be bothered with us two black sisters! I made certain the first time I didn't leave her a tip because I didn't want anything extra going to her nasty and uncomfortable demeanor. The second time I went in to buy additional pastries, I decided to leave a tip. Only because of the lady with the curly black hair. She was really nice and broke everything down and told us about the place. But the white lady with the brown hair... you have got to be kidding me! I'm willing to try this place again because the food is outstanding. But if that same lady is there when I come again, out the door I shall go.

I am in love with a crepe place in Cookeville, TN. Whenever I'm traveling by ground, I will route my trip to get through that town to get a hold of one of those crepes. To my delight, Wifey and I stumbled across a different place on our way through Nashville. Nashville and the Green Hills area are chocked full of eateries. This one, Peach's, was a tiny gamble even though the pics looked good and the reviews were promising. You see, our CSI, or Crepe Satisfaction Index is very high. We've been eating them all over the world. Some of the best I've had, i've been in Scotland and then in Belgium. The Cookeville place has hand-held crepes. This speeds up the devouring of their tasty options. This place has plated crepes and there are many to choose from. Ours were delicious! Perfectly prepared, and with a side of delicious crispy bacon, my simple ham and cheese crepes set a hook in my memory that will command my return. Wifey's Parisian crepe was also a smashing success. Fair pricing and a very warm and pleasant staff make this place a 5-star saved location for us. After our meal we snagged a couple of coffees for the final leg of our trip home. They did them right as well. Will probably slate a shopping trip to Green Hills after the holidays along with another crack at this wonderful menu.

Roze Pony is a charming restaurant in West Nashville that offers a delightful dining experience. The ambiance is exquisite, with dimmed lights and sweet cafe tables creating a cozy atmosphere. The menu features creative and flavorful dishes, such as the smoked trout toast, Parisian ham baguette, and Pony Burger for a heartier brunch. Guests can also enjoy light options like banana shakes or overnight oats. The restaurant's cocktail menu is expansive, featuring well-crafted and tasty drinks like the Cowboy Squint.
My wife and I visited the place on a Saturday morning around 8:30 am. They opened at 8 am so it was not too busy. As we sat down and waited for our order, the place started to get busy around 9:30 am. The tables are close but not too bad. We generally felt comfortable and cozy. There is an also a bakery shop where customers can order cakes and croissants and cookies. As to food and drinks: - Croissant with butter - We ordered it from bakery. It was toasted with crunchy exterior and a soft and warm interior. We liked it. - Rose Latte - Latte with lavender syrup. It was not too sweet. I liked it but my wife did not. - Latte - This was a little bitter for me personally, likely because we chose 1% fat milk. - Soufflé Pancakes - The dish that drew us here. It takes around 30 minutes for them to make after you order it. It was bouncy with a firm texture, and the blueberry syrup was really good. It tasted like pancake but with soufflé’s texture. The sweetness was spot on and the size was perfect for the two of us. We highly recommend it. Overall, we think this is a good place for weekend brunch/breakfast.

Went here with my husband after being turned away from Sperry’s next door. They happily took us in even though it was busy. We got sat at the bar and Eli was our bartender. This was one of the best experiences I have had since living in Nashville and we go out routinely as we are big foodies. Every single thing Eli recommended from drinks, apps, dinner, and dessert were a 100/10. We were blown away. Perfect date night, super happy staff, and delicious food. I would say this place rivals some of the most trendy/hard to get in places in Nashville. I would recommend any of the cocktails, the wedge salad, oysters, fried olives, chicken entree (trust me), and goat cheese cheesecake. Eli made our experience truly memorable and we are excited to go back soon!

Wonderful brunch! Cocktails were delicious and the food was amazing. I loved the baked eggs bowl. And the homemade hot sauce was...well, we tood some home to enjoy. Our server Jason and the manager Molly were so great as was the hostess. Really sweet. Great little restaurant. Make a reservation if you can. We walked around the plaza for 30 minutes and hung out by the stream beside it while waiting for our table to be ready. Definitely recommend this little gem. Oh, the banana shake was delicious too!

Great menu and ambience. Staff were friendly and attentive. Easy to find with ample parking. Loved the variety of menu items from breakfast to sandwiches, soup and salads. We just wanted to find a place close by and this terrific eatery popped up on Yelp. They also have great martinis -and a full bar! Don’t forget to save room for a dessert. We enjoyed the Strawberry Shortcake and Whiskey chocolate chip cookie. They are known for their delectable desserts which are a rare treat!

An attractive brunch spot with highs and lows, tucked in to one of Belle Meade's strip malls. It's worth your time. The modern interior, with its stylish tile floor and open vibes, is very comfortable. The food we tried was gorgeous, with the salmon toast draped in artfully sculpted watermelon radish and dill, and the quiche presented via a tall robust slice next to a mound of salad. We also tried the jiggly soufflé pancake, which was tasty, light, and fun, though a bit dry vs. the eggy-ness I expected. Big bonus points for the chai-spiced syrup though. On the downside, the egg sandwich on a "Japanese milk bun" was more basic than described. After many trips to Japan, I can safely say this is merely a decent standard brioche burger bun. You need to elevate a lot more to use the "J.M.B." title. Onion jam is always welcome though. Service was a bit forgetful and slow, though well-intentioned. We had to re-request a coffee, ask for a refill, and for salt & pepper. It's a very young staff and they could learn to be a bit more solicitous. But they are forgiven easily. Overall, the effort to compose a refined alternative to standard west Nashville brunch options is appreciated, and I'll be back to check on their progress. Next time, for the vibes and to try the sandwich menu.

This place is such a gem! Incredible service. The food is so perfectly seasoned and fun to eat. My friend and I split the carrot soup, salmon toast and chicken paillard. Split some cookies for dessert. I wish I could eat here everyday.

Roze Pony in Nashville is a fantastic spot for coffee lovers. The atmosphere is chic and inviting, making it a great place to relax or catch up with friends. Their coffee is truly exceptional—smooth, rich, and perfectly brewed. Whether you're stopping in for a quick cup or pairing it with one of their delicious pastries, you won't be disappointed. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a quality coffee experience in Nashville!

Almost a year ago, my now husband and I hosted our wedding reception at Roze Pony. From our beginning conversations of working together to the finalized three course prix fixe meal, our experience with the Roze Pony team was exceptional. Roze Pony has always been one of our favorite restaurants and we feel so lucky they hosted such a special event with us. Chef Julia created the perfect menu and their pastry chef made our wedding cake. I look forward to spending our anniversary at Roze Pony for years to come.

Stopped by on our way out of town on a Saturday. Easy to find. Parking was fine as well, but the store was not too busy. Sent the kids in to get a few donuts. Lots of selection. Service was quick and easy. It's not cheap...but they are made-to-order. Very tasty. Got to go at least once.

Elevated popovers!!! If you enjoy Yorkshire pudding, these are for you. Loved the Lemon Icebox. They didn’t skimp on the lemon. Every bite was so tasty. It was an experience. This place will be on our minds next time we visit Nashville.

I am a Dough Connoisseur!!!! Yes...I love homemade biscuits homemade bread etc. Now.....these donuts are the priciest ive seen. I paid 16, for JUST 3 donuts. .....which is absurd....I had the Original, a 🍋 Curd one and a Orange Croissant like one......I need an original as a baseline right? It shows u the potential of the Dough. And OMFG.....the Layers the freshness Chefs Kiss. Normally ive never liked Stuffed donuts but the lemon curd is a top seller and I couldnt understand how it was Stuffed, but still had a donut hole???🤔🤔 My curiosity won...I brought it.... Now this one is an Experience.... Biting into this delectable dessert your teeth goes through this good dough and them a yummy....not so sweet warm( I nuked it) creamy cream burst in my mouth with so much flavor. So...disclaimer i dont eat Candy or drink sodas...so I dont have much of a sugar tolerance. I can usually get a bite of something like this....wait a couple hours and bite again ...but no....its so hood u want to eat it ALL LIKE A COOKIE MONSTER .... Hands Down THEE BEST DONUT SPOT IN 404

I heard about this place's chocolate chip cookie but they sold out by midday. So I came back the next morning for cookies and donuts. They have your standard chocolate covered and glazed but they also have buttercream-filled pumpkin spice (it's October), maple bacon, and an assortment of other flavors. The staff is very friendly and helpful when making a choice. Definitely a must visit if you're in the area. This, like many small donut shops, is where you order, take your food and leave. There's no dine-in options. You're right next to Assembly Food Hall so you can sit in there.

Saw this place on YouTube so we had to stop by. Donut meets croissant. If you love donuts this is the spot for you . We just tried the purest . One of the popular ones . Tasted like a glazed donut with a slight flakier texture . Not bad - the owner was really cool though!
Nikki A — Google review
Overpriced and the donuts are not worth it. We got the Boston crème donut and the salted chocolate cronut. The texture of the Boston crème was doughy and slightly too sour. The filling itself was sweet - no problems there. The chocolate topping was decidedly bitter. The salted chocolate donut filling was very sweet - closer to cake frosting than filling. There was no salt flavor to the donut. Good, but not great. Coffee was reasonably priced, but there is a better coffee option (Elixir) right across the street.

Cute spot and easy to get to. When I went it was a Friday morning and it wasn’t crazy busy which was nice. I got the apple fritter, Cuban cold brew, summer berry crisp, King Kong. All great. Worth trying different flavors.

Restaurant
Puckett's Restaurant in downtown Nashville is a beloved Southern bar and grill that also functions as a grocery store, adding to its unique charm. Dating back to the 1950s, this establishment has grown from a small-town grocery store to multiple locations across Tennessee. It has become a hotspot for live music and delectable Southern cuisine.
Having driven 1700 km from the north-eastern side of the continent, I finally hit the right spot in Nashville for the long sought chicken steak (deep fried sirloin). The folks at Puckett's delivered the goods the way I dreamt about for years: A medium cook sirloin covered with the exact amount of a tasteful batter, deep fried to an eye poppin' golden color. Served with home-made mash, greens, coleslaw and corn bread. That, along with a fresh brew (or 2 !), did inspire me for a magnificent deep fried chocolate brownie, toped-off with whip cream and a strip of bacon. I mean, not exactly what my cardiologist had advised me, but we only live once, right... Right ?! Anyways, I had my meds with me !

Experience could've been better if our server Victoria wasn't horrendous. The food was excellent but service was very poor. Ordered two appetizers that came out with our food because our server brought out the wrong appetizers first from another order. Upon checkout never was asked for to-go containers so I had to ask for them myself. Would definitely go back for the food and would have to have a different server. Definitely disappointed.

Just walked in without checking it out first because it looked crowded. We were not disappointed! Fantastic service at the bar. We asked to sit there to watch the football game and the bartender gladly accommodated us. Check out the menu on line as they have a big menu (they serve breakfast until 11a). Huge portions. Very reasonable prices. The Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich was delicious. Not too spicy. Not too sweet. Nicely breaded, crispy but still tender. Coleslaw was good. Large portion of thin fries. The Piggy Mac was amazing. Lots of pulled pork covered with the creamiest macaroni and cheese, topped with two tasty little pancake type biscuits.

Got here right after breakfast was ending (which looked good btw) and got some lunch. The pimento cheese balls were delicious and unique. I got the daily meat and 3 sides special. I opened for the pulled pork but chicken was an option. If I understand it correctly it changes daily. Sides were green beans and fries. They are more liberal with salt in the south but I personally like it. Didnt find it overwhelming. All in all i enjoyed my meal, atmosphere, prices, and service.

First Dinner in Nashville and we chose Puckett's. We wanted the experience of local foods from a known spot. I chose whole Farm for meal for the both of us. I would call this the "Kit & Kaboodle" This came with smoked turkey breast, smoked sausage, half chicken, beed brisket, cherry wood smoked pulled pork, served with smoked bake beans and collard greens. We added a side of red beans, rice and sausage. She chose a smoked whiskey bloody Mary with a fried chicken drumstick! She really enjoyed that drink. I want to say the smoke sausage was great, and the smoked Turkey breast was really good. All food was really good..I think the half chicken needed to be cooked longer. We arrived late and were only ones ordering food in restaurant. For the place being empty, it did take awhile before a server showed up. We were close to leaving. However once the server arrived, then the service was good.
George J — Google review
Everything about this place is great! Portion sizes are huge. This plate four pieces of chicken and two sides was $19. The best green beans I’ve ever had. And their reputation for having the best fried chicken as well deserved. Our waitress was fantastic. This will be on my must go places every time. I’m in Nashville.
Christina C — Google review
I was actually pleasantly surprised by Puckett’s for a recent weekend dinner, assuming it would be a total tourist trap based on its location. But the old country store ambiance is a welcome change from the pervasive bar feeling downtown. However, the atmosphere is still very crowded and loud, especially when live music started. Food portions are on the smaller side and prices on the higher side, but nothing crazy for downtown. Chicken fried chicken with sides was tasty. Deep fried brownie sundae looked quite impressive but did not taste great—it is more of a battered chocolate cake. All in all, a good option for homestyle cooking downtown and with live music at least on weekends.

We’re having a blast in Nashville for the first time, and one of my friends recommended this amazing spot! The people, music, and food are all incredible. You absolutely have to try the Nashville hot and spicy chicken—it’s a must! The ribs were out of this world, too. The atmosphere is filled with great country tunes that made my first Nashville experience unforgettable. We also loved the spice shop, where I picked up some fantastic spices and even some fun T-shirts and hats. It’s such a charming place! What a fantastic night!

Southern restaurant (US)
Kitchen Notes, situated in the Omni Nashville Hotel, offers a modern take on traditional Southern cuisine using sustainable ingredients and cherished family recipes. The restaurant features vintage decor and antique accents, with a central dining area and two private dining rooms. A highlight is the Biscuit Bar serving warm freshly made biscuits all day.
Such a cute little spot located inside the Omni hotel. I got the shortcakes without lemon curd (due to food allergy) and adding of maple blueberry sausage patty. The shortcakes were very good with hints of vanilla paired with TN honey it was amazing. The maple sausage was not very good, it has no traditional sage sausage taste and it did not taste like blueberries or maple. My server was very sweet and took it off my bill. I will definitely be back again.
Laura C — Google review
I looked for a Sunday brunch and found Kitchen Notes. I had high expectations after having stayed at the Omni a few times. The staff is always exceptional and my stays have been great. Unfortunately the brunch fell short of the standards of the rest of the hotel. It was $36 which isn't outrageous but if you want an omelette you have to order it at the table and it's an additional $6. There are a few other items like waffles that must be ordered at the table also but they are included in the buffet. Now for the rest of the buffet, it's good but basic. The biscuit bar is nice but not enough to carry the rest of the meal. All in it's a good meal but not great. Sorry guys but I still love to stay at your hotel.
Coach K — Google review
I was really debating on giving 4 or 5 stars because I give it a 4.5 overall. The half star deduction comes from the oatmeal and gravy not being hot enough to my liking. But I had the buffet, which I rarely do, and that is the biggest issues with buffets, right? That being said, the flavors and choices were unique and wonderful. Absolutely loved the biscuits and the sausages and even though I'm not a pancake fan (prefer French toast or waffles), the skillet pancakes were amazing. Very unusual and nothing like a pancake. Probably why I loved it so much! Get it with the fluffy butter and fabulous jam. My husband ordered the fish sandwich with fries and a side of hot chicken. Fish sandwich was salmon which he wasn't expecting. It was decent. Fries were great and piping hot (and I AM a fry connoisseur) and the hot chicken was not very spicy. So if you are expecting Nashville burn-your-mouth-hot, this isn't it but, it had a wonderful flavor and if you enjoy lower spiciness that doesn't hurt, this is great. Bread underneath was yummy too. Beautiful space, excellent service.

The breakfast menu selection was great. The fruit and breakfast sandwich were excellent.

We came here for lunch because I loved the farm to table concept. We ate in Rashas section and not only was she great but the food was incredible. We were convinced to come for brunch the next day and it was even better. There wasn’t one thing that we ate that we didn’t like. Even with the buffet the pancakes and waffles were individually ordered so you still got those fresh even with the buffet. I would definitely recommend checking this place out!

🍳 Kitchen Notes in Nashville, TN may not have blown me away with their breakfast buffet, but the service was on point! If you're looking for a cozy atmosphere and friendly staff, this spot delivers. Maybe skip the buffet next time and try something from the menu - that might be a better bet. Overall, not the best breakfast choice, but the service made up for it. 🥓 #NextTimeMenuOnly

The atmosphere was nice. Open and full of light. I had the breakfast bar which was unimpressive. The waitress cleared our table when we got up to get a second helping, So we had to start all over again with drinks etc.. on the breakfast bar, there was no option for turkey sausage or vegetarian sausage So if you don't eat pork you're limited. I thought it was very mediocre for $38. I was sorry that I didn't go to waffle House 🤣. Perhaps I should have ordered an omelet.

The Pub in Nashville is a cozy and casual British-style watering hole that offers traditional pub food and a wide variety of beers. It's a great spot to enjoy classic dishes like fish and chips or welsh dip, as well as daily brunch from 10 AM to 3 PM. The atmosphere is welcoming, with English pale ales on tap and an authentic vibe. This family-friendly hotspot in the Gulch is perfect for watching soccer games with the kids.
The food was exceptional! We have our normal brunch spots here in Nashville, but decided to try something new. We got in straight away and our food arrived very quickly. The fish & chips were the best I’ve ever had. We all ordered from the British parts of the menu. Highly, highly recommend.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Plumbing Solutions Review (featuring our mascot, Drippy): Our team — and of course, Drippy — stopped by The Pub in Nashville, and it did not disappoint! The food was excellent (you’ve got to try the fish and chips), the atmosphere was inviting, and the staff was friendly and attentive. Everything was clean and well-kept, which we always appreciate. Drippy might usually be all about water 💧, but he says The Pub is definitely worth raising a glass to! 🍻 Great food, great people, and a great Nashville spot — highly recommend!

The Pub was awesome! The scotch egg was really delicious and I enjoyed it. I also got the chicken and biscuits and was happy I did. This restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating. Was starving so we stopped in to get a bite to eat at The Pub. I wanted fish & chips. We ordered fried pickles and fish & chips (wee version). The food was hot, delicious and served quickly. The restaurant had a nice vibe with music playing in the background. I was skeptical at first about the fish & chips, but the food was amazing. I enjoyed everything except the Cole slaw. I would definitely return here again! 🇬🇧 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Great spot we happened upon when all the other popular brunch spots had crazy lines on a Saturday morning. Was able to get a table for 3 pretty fast around noon. Food was really good and followed an English/American style. Very good if you need good drinks and food. Enjoy

Fun bar to sit in. The beer cheese with the pretzels and veggies was sooo good. I could have made a meal out of the cheese alone! (I’m from Wisconsin so we love our cheese!) My husband and son loved the Welsh/ch melt (pretty sure that’s what it was called) The potato soup on special was really good too along with my Caesar salad! The canned peach tea was FABULOUS however, I’m pretty sure my husband will have a sugar high from the amount of sugar in the thing! Everything was so good! Glad we stopped!
Alyssa — Google review
I let my teenage son choose The Pub, and in hindsight… I probably should’ve vetoed. The bangers and mash were actually pretty solid — definitely the highlight of the meal. But the fried pickles? Skip them. They came as spears, not chips, and just didn’t hit the mark. Our waitress didn’t seem thrilled to be there, and the whole experience felt rushed — like they were more interested in turning the table than making us feel welcome. Overall, it wasn’t terrible, but with so many great places in The Gulch, this one just doesn’t stand out. I’d say give it a pass and try one of the many better options nearby.

The Pub in Nashville nailed it! Great spot for a late lunch or early dinner. I had a Hugo Spritz with elderberry it was refreshing and unique. We shared Belhaven beer cheese with pretzels and veggies (SO good), and the fish and chips were absolutely incredible. Crispy, golden beer-battered haddock—best I’ve had in the U.S.! We sat on the patio and the service was fast and friendly. We’ll definitely be back!

This will always be a 5-star place for me. The service is amazing, the food is tasty, and the quantity for the price is excellent. Food: We had the sampler platter that had spicy feta, hummus, and mashed eggplants served with a side of pita. Each was excellent and fresh. When we ran out of pita, our server was kind enough to bring out extra pita to “finish off the dips.” The gyro platter was huge. Excellently seasoned, extremely tasty, and served with really crispy fries topped with feta. Can’t have a more tasty meal for that price anywhere! I will say that the vegetarian pita was slightly lacking. Vegetables were bland, so if they could add more sauces or spices, it’d be a solid option. Overall I am very pleased with these experiences and I will keep coming back!

Crema Coffee Roasters is a local specialty coffee roaster and artisanal coffeehouse located in Nashville. The wood-paneled, industrial space offers a cozy atmosphere to enjoy their excellent coffee, pastries, and snacks. With a commitment to quality, sustainability, and community, Crema sources its beans from various regions worldwide through direct relationships with farmers. They also offer educational classes and workshops for customers to learn about the coffee production process and brewing techniques.
Coffee and avocado toast were both excellent. I ordered a vanilla late 1/2 sweet. If you order 1/2 usually, I would go full sweet here. It was a good location with an on-site parking, which was free for 90 minutes, I went on a Sunday morning so I'm not sure if that's every day. Plenty of seating inside and out.

Crema is the perfect spot if you’re looking for a great cup of coffee and a quick bite in Nashville. The space is beautifully designed, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating — ideal whether you’re meeting up with friends or just enjoying a solo coffee moment. We ordered a latte, Cuban, and tried the coffee soda for the first time — definitely a unique and refreshing experience! The latte and Cuban were both well-balanced and smooth. Coffee soda might not be for everyone, but if you’re into trying something new, it’s worth a sip. For food, we got the avocado toast, which was pretty standard, nothing too exciting. But the rosemary scone and kouign-amann were delicious — buttery, flaky, and flavorful. Overall, great vibes, solid coffee, and a relaxing atmosphere. Definitely a place we’d visit again next time we’re in town.

Crema stays very busy. When I walked in there were five people in front of me, but the line went quickly. I had quite a few questions about menu items. Trying to order food because I have a dairy allergy. The staff was very helpful about finding out these answers for me so I could order. I ordered the avocado toast without butter and without cheese, a Americano decaf with oat milk. There is plenty of seating throughout inside and outside. The parking lot is not very large, however there are parking spots to the back. It is paid parking, however, the first 90 minutes are free. The vibe inside of the coffee shop is very warm and cozy. It seems to be the spot around downtown Nashville where a lot of people do meetings and hold work on their computers.

Crema was awesome! One of the best lattes I've had in a while, roast is super nice and not too sweet. Atmosphere was also super nice and, while I didn't have time during my visit, thought it was cool that they do coffee education in the back room!

well worth the wait! the berry tartine was phenomenal with a really smooth ricotta and sweetness from the berries that was broken up by the really good sourdough. the coffee with infused mint was refreshing but the syrups aren’t overly sweet which is nice!

[Update] I was able to get the ticket resolved after working with Crema directly — I’m grateful it was resolved and really appreciate their assistance That said, because I really love this shop and what it does for our community, I sincerely hope a business I love — one that states on their website "we intentionally seek out and choose partners who share our commitment to quality, sustainability and a belief that business can do good" — will take a hard look at its partnership with this predatory parking management company. I’d love to feel good about returning someday, and that starts with Crema holding itself to the same high standards it expects from its coffee and collaborators. [Original Review] One of my favorite coffeeshops in town, unfortunately finally fell afoul of the predatory parking when leaving after getting held up with an unexpected work call 5 minutes (literally) to the tune of a $70 ticket. I’ve visited the shop to sit at the window and work once a week for the past two years and sad to say today was probably my last visit. The coffee is always good though, some of the best in the city imo and have appreciated the great baristas (shoutout to Wes in particular who’s always been beyond kind and welcoming). Empathize with the shop, our parking issues are a city wide issue and it’s a real crime these monopolies are allowed to exist and are certainly the true villain but I can’t support or recommend a shop where patrons are in danger of a ticket that costs 10x the price of your coffee when you visit, it's not worth the risk if/when life happens.

Everything you’re looking for in a cafe Good coffee Plenty seating options Free wifi Easy parking Variety light breakfast options Attentive and stocked staff They have a preorder option in case you need to beat the line but wait wasn’t too bad. I had an iced Americano - light acidic coffee and an avocado toast. Toast is on the harder end but the avocado and goat cheese combo was enjoyable. From Chicago on a quick trip but would def swing by here for morning coffee if I came back

Tucked away in Nashville’s charming Germantown neighborhood, AVO is an absolute must for anyone who loves fresh, vibrant, and truly inspiring vegan cuisine. The moment I walked in, the space radiated that relaxed-yet-refined Nashville energy — modern, bright, and full of life. Their menu features both raw and cooked dishes, and everything I tried was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. You can really taste the care and creativity that goes into each plate — the ingredients feel alive, and the combinations are spot-on. It’s the kind of food that makes you feel good while you’re eating it. Our waitress was an absolute delight — she had that warm, genuine Southern hospitality that makes you feel like you’re chatting with a friend, or even your favorite neighbor. The service was effortless and friendly in the best way possible. From start to finish, AVO exceeded my expectations. It’s refreshing to find a vegan restaurant that balances health, flavor, and atmosphere so perfectly. Whether you’re plant-based or just exploring, this spot deserves a top spot on your Nashville food list. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town. *Highly recommend the kimchi spring rolls*

First vegan restaurant we tried in Nashville! My boyfriend and I are from Texas and were visiting some family and we decided to try this place first. The staff were all so friendly and gave us great recommendations on the food. I ended up doing the Dan Dan Noodles and I do not regret it one bit! My boyfriend had a tofu dish that although I can’t remember the name of, I’ll post a picture of it below. I tried his dish and it was honestly one of the best vegan dishes I have ever tried. We also had some of the mocktails and the cheesecake. Not to mention, the music and the atmosphere were so amazing. 10000/10 rating!

Atmosphere is frankly 6 stars. Service was amazing and the el cubano and old fashioned that ordered were amazing. Made for a very romantic date with my girlfriend.

Avo is top tier vegan, absolutely everything is great, flavourful, and unique! I absolutely adore the kimchi Spring Rolls and the seasonal mushroom bulgogi. The drinks are amazing as well, the vampire is a tasty blood orange and tequila option with a kick!

Absolutely beautiful! I don’t know how we haven’t visited here sooner! Everything was incredible. We came to celebrate my birthday here and what an experience! Delicious food, beautiful atmosphere and decor, friendly staff, and a true diamond in the rough! I already want to go back. We had the nachos as an appetizer and then the burger and penne pasta for entrees. We had to try a dessert, we tried the Pumpkin Butterscotch cheesecake. My goodness. We were speechless with all the flavors. Perfection! 10000% recommend trying this gem! Keep doing what you’re doing, Avo. Thank you for a wonderful birthday and a great first experience.

The place is very nice, and the price is reasonable. All the staff was great and very helpful. I will say the menu is a bit sparse. I tried the mushroom tacos, and they were very earthy for lack of a better word. Everything is made fresh, but some of the ingredients are not necessarily of my taste. I will say that my toffee cheesecake was delicious! This was just my first visit, I will come back and try something else next time - hopefully I'll find something I like a little better. I am glad that they are here serving the vegans!

Red Bicycle Coffee & Crepes is a charming spot that offers light meals and snacks, with the added bonus of pup cups for furry friends. Visitors can enjoy their honey lavender latte and a variety of crepes, as well as other breakfast options like the Breakfast Chimichanga. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff make it a great neighborhood hangout, complete with outdoor seating on pleasant days.
I love this place! We live literally 2 min away My mom brings me the best cinnamon rolls from there. Go follow her page Nikkie Key and Nashville Nikkie Adventures Katie is super nice and attentive to detail. Briana is doing a great job. Very efficient service Bravo ladies

Perfect spot for a weekend coffee & breakfast; specialty latte and both crepes were delicious. Nice atmosphere, friendly service, easy parking. Would love to come back!

This is my regular coffee shop because it’s less than half a mile from my house. If I ever moved, it would still be my regular coffee shop. The Girls that work here are seriously the best! They are so friendly and always remember my order. The coffee is the best and the food is delicious and fresh :) I love Red Bicycle and this is my favorite location by far :)

Stopped by on our trip down south from Michigan, glad we stopped over for breakfast. The host /owner was super sweet and very helpful. Strongly recommend Cuban coffee and field of green savory crepe. I ordered wake up scrambler without crepe and that was good too. Glad they offered impossible meat choice for vegetarian and halal / kosher friendly crowds.

This is what I call my home coffee shop. My week doesn't start until I go to Reds. The baristas are all top notch and the coffee is amazing. It's a shame I haven't tried any of the crepes but I'll update this review once I do! I recommend the horchata latte, but try out their seasonal menu because it's delicious! Please remember, when you go out and try new places, give them a review. Especially if they're good. We need our good spots to last in Nashville!

Wow! Just wow! I’ve driving by this place for years and thought it was “just another coffee shop”. I was wrong! Yes they have coffee, but holy cow they have so much more!! THE FOOD IS AMAZING! I’m talking like 5 star, fine dining, best food in Nashville. For real. The food is so tasty, the drinks are divine. We got the Chicken Chimichanga, dang! Best chimichanga ever. They use like a puff pastry type of breading that is deep fried to a perfect golden brown. It’s heavenly. Too many good things to say, but you have to experience it for yourself, maybe you’ll be blown away like I was!

If I lived within walking distance of this coffee shop, I'd be a regular. They have classic coffee drinks, and fun flavors, like lucky charms (in March). Definitely seems like a great place to choose a seat and stay a while. Especially with those couches. I highly recommend.

Tasty food, a friendly team of baristas, and a great atmosphere made for a nice start to the day. We really enjoyed the avocado toast (first time having one with a fried egg on it!) and the burrito was good too. Salsa had some nice heat!

The Pancake Pantry in Hillsboro Village is a popular breakfast and lunch spot with a cozy, down-home atmosphere. Visitors often wait in long lines to savor the delicious flapjacks and other specialties. The menu features unique offerings like cinnamon roll pancakes and banana bread pancakes, as well as homemade syrups. Despite the bustling environment, the service is generally efficient and accommodating even for large groups.
Amazing brunch before seeing DOLLY the musical at Belmont's Fisher Center. Recommendations were spot on. I had the Sampler (3) diff flavors and my friends had 2 other flavors and they were ALL delicious. My favorite was sweet potato!

We've now dined here twice and will continue to come back on occasion. We've tried the strawberry shortcake rolled cakes, cinnamon roll pancakes, scrambled eggs, and bacon. The strawberry shortcake rolled cakes are very good, but it's hard to call them anything but a dessert item. Pancakes are obviously a sweet breakfast item, but served in this form they really do pack on the sugar between the compote and whipped cream. It's delectable but certainly a heavy breakfast. The cinnamon roll pancakes we got with the icing on the side which leaves them a bit further from dessert territory - these are also very good. The bacon is fine - nothing remarkable about it just thin. The scrambled eggs are horrible though - the only reason for the 4 stars versus 5. They're thin, dry, and bland. Service has been good. We've visited for an early breakfast on Easter and for lunch on a regular Saturday. For an early breakfast we sat down immediately, and at lunch we waited for about 15 minutes in line.
Lane S — Google review
Stumbled upon the pancake pantry when they had a line out the door Sunday morning. Decided to come back during the week when they weren’t so busy. The food wasn’t anything special in our opinion. The taste and smell of the ham was extremely unpleasant, maybe it’s just a difference in how it’s cooked here versus back home. The pancakes and hash browns were good but the strawberry compote was a little overwhelming. Our server was super great and made sure we felt welcomed. Just lacking in the food department.
Joshua D — Google review
Pancake Pantry is an *establishment* of Nashville. Period. With that being said, y'all, THE LINE! Be patient, it's worth the wait - unless you're the 75th person in line wrapped around the block amidst the sun, heat, and humidity. The DELICIOUS and dynamic menu offers a variety of options, served all day. At least until 2 or 3 when they close (times are location specific). But, let's be real, pancakes reign supreme. The dining room is drab, but it's a clean environment. Parking is a challenge. There is a paid lot out back, but free street parking is more rare than the leprechaun riding a unicorn at the pot o' gold at the end of the rainbow. Enjoy! It's a great meal, with great staff, and hopefully great company.

Walked in was seated immediately, drinks were gotten and menus given. Our waiter was extremely polite. I got the cinnamon roll pancake with the pork chop and eggs. I was skeptical of the pork chops being braised in sweet tea but to my surprise they were delicious and so tender. My wife got the banana bread pancakes and almost got some to go she enjoyed them that much. Had to grab a tshirt before leaving, will be back the next time we’re in Nashville. Can’t recommend enough.

Got there around noon on a Saturday and the line was around the building. Took about 30 minutes to be seated. Line was much shorter when we left. Pancakes were good, but the compote was very sweet. We got the pigs in blanket and it was a little sausage rolled in a pancake twice its size. Good service. Our table was pretty small.

We make it a point to stop here whenever we visit town or are driving through. If you arrive during peak hours, you may experience a wait, but we usually go early and are seated right away. The food is consistently delicious, the orange juice is fresh, and the service is always excellent.

I do not recommend this place. Drive two hours to get to this place and the parking cost me $31 and I was in line for over an hour and a half to get into the restaurant. After I was able to order my food, it took about 45 minutes. My Country Fried Steak was cold, the Buttermilk pancake tasted bitter, the syrup tasted like Robo-Tushsin, and the Stacked Mimosa Peach had no alcohol. Finally, the kitchen made a mistake with my wife's food. Server: Lindsey M is very kind and professional, she is always very friendly and with a very pretty smile 💯👍🏼 for LINDSEY the only thing we liked about this place

Cascades Restaurant is located in a tropical setting with gardens and waterfalls. The menu features fresh seafood, such as Australian lobster tails and diver scallops, along with pan-seared Atlantic cod and halibut with lobster stuffing. There is also Japanese food and drink on the menu, such as sushi and sake cocktails.
This cafe is located in one of the conservatories within the Opryland resort. We got seated for lunch without a wait and the atmosphere is lovely. Its a bit loud and echoey though not so much that it restricts conversations. The plant life, waterfalls, and scenery are magnificent, especially with Christmas upon us. The service was good. Attentive staff and quick service. Meals were all tasty and well done. This was definitely a hit and I would go back again for sure,

We had been to this restaurant to have our lunch. The ambience is quite amazing .The service too is great. We tried Tuna Sandwich and Fries only. Pretty decent, i would say. The drinks - whether it's Pepsi or any other, they refill it. Cost could be on the higher side, slightly, considering the location and the ambience. But a decent Cafe to take your customers or friends for a meet.

My husband and I hand a late lunch at the Cascades American Cafe. The atmosphere, service and food didn’t disappoint. Our waiter Akram was amazing. He provided the perfect table manners from answering our questions, ordering our food and delivering it to us. Every visit to our table was sincere and with a smile. His hospitality reveal caring and experience, like a resort in the tropics. Our appetizer Roasted Onion dip and chips was a great starter. Both were freshly made as the chips felt warm and crispy with a nice crunch. The Roasted Lamb sandwich was a must try. The meat was moist, tender, seasoned and cooked perfectly. I would order it again, that’s how good it was. The grilled chicken sandwich was equally delicious. To top it off, Akram took our picture! Which was an added bonus because in that moment he switched to a photographer. He captured our anniversary moment and the pictures were beautiful. Our experience was one that we will never forget because of such an incredible waiter.

Great restaurant. Everyone was nice and helpful from the hostess to the server. We had a beautiful view of the fountains. We had a variety of apps, sushi rolls, and some entrees. My kids enjoyed the sushi. My husband had the salmon. I ate the poke bowl. There was live music nearby. Overall great food, service, and atmosphere. It checked all the boxes for my family.

One of the finest breakfast buffets I’ve ever had. I’m a world traveler and have seen my share of assorted Breakfast Buffets. They have a variety of options for every type of appetite . From East coast to west coast. Chocolate gravy!! Yes they have it. Smoked salmon, 10 different types of jelly/Jams. Omelette bar / Pancake bar you won’t be disappointed. Fresh squeezed orange juice. It’s a must if you’re dining at the opryland hotel!!

Amazing breakfast buffet with lots of choices! To order omelettes were fantastic. The eggs Benedict were as well. The staff was kind and professional. This gave me a Walt Disney World vibe without the rush.

While staying at the Gaylord we visited here for dinner one night. The service was excellent but the food was average. I had the kale and beet salad with salmon. Beets and salmon were delicious but salad was over dressed and dressing was too sweet for me. We got the children’s Mac and cheese for our toddler and it was just Kraft, which is fine, but don’t think it should cost $15. My husband got soup and cafe salad and enjoyed both.

417 Union is a 2-story restaurant with memorabilia and mementos of the Civil and Second World Wars. It serves Southern & American fare seven days a week, with breakfast in the morning and lunch in the afternoon. The menu has items such as pancakes, bacon, pork chops, eggs, steak, omelets, floats and milkshakes.
AWESOME PLACE My wife and I went to Nashville with a friend couple. We spent three days over a weekend in town. We wanted to experience the music scene in town, as well as food and some cocktail bars. We expected to be impressed by the Honky Tonks in town. And we were hoping that the Speakeasy bars and regular cocktail bars in town were same calibre as other towns/cities. We found this place and wanted to try breakfast/brunch here. There was a short wait before we got seated. They have a nice selection of food and beverages. We tried out four different courses and a few drinks: peach Bellini, Bloody Mary, Irish coffee etc. the decor is WWII and post WWII. Really cool. The food is well tasting. The service great, polite and professional. Definitely try it out.

If you are in Nashville Midtown, this place deserves a shot. A place that has an old time house feel gives their take on southern charm and food. The food and service were great. I had there loaded breakfast potatoes and the breakfast quesadilla. Wife had the pancake plate with blueberries added. We started with the buttermilk biscuits. Very good….lite and fluffy. Overall flavor was there. I would like to try the classic breakfast food next time.

Nashville has some really amazing breakfast spots and this one is one of my favorites. The food is always great and the staff is always amazing. Gotta arrive early because like all the great spots this place can have long wait times. Especially on weekends.

My husband and I loved this history themed restaurant. We were visiting from Florida and went for brunch on an early Thursday morning. There was no wait and we were seated immediately. The food was delicious and classic American brunch fare. Our waitress was kind and gave me a small chocolate drink with sprinkles as she saw from my ID that it was recently my birthday. The "powder room" was clean and also in line with the theme. If you're looking for a delicious meal and a unique themed location, look no further than here.

Nashville is a touristy town full of restaurants that get more hype than they deserve. But thankfully, there are places like 417 Union that focus on food and service, and don’t need a gimmick to stand out. This is a restaurant that knows what it is, a place that is supposed to serve good food. And it does the job well with classic breakfast staples. We both ordered the pancake platter and in a flash the food was there with barely any wait at all. And not only was it fast, but also fresh. Eggs cooked well, sausage hot and fresh, potatoes crispy and the pancakes were really good. In all honesty, the pancakes here were better than other places in town that are supposed to specialize in pancakes. All in all, it’s a solid spot that I’d gladly go to again for a hearty breakfast.

A hidden gem! Wow, absolutely amazing breakfast choices. Ham was so tasty, not salty and fried pork chop, “yum”!! Fruit so fresh and ja for biscuits is homemade. It’s been here for 20 years. Not sure how we missed it.

We got 2 pancakes, eggs, bacon, and hashbrowns. The pancakes were good but overall just good not great. I also got the strawberry lemonade which was insanely sweet. I had to add like a whole glass of water to it to make it not overwelmingly sweet

The food here was delicious I can still remember the fresh taste of the sausage I ordered I would describe it as a country style breakfast. My wife and I got there a little early it was raining and cold but we still waited, if in Nashville I highly recommend
