Been going to Harpos on and off for drinks, but sadly never wanted to touch their food. I gave it another shot with the new menu, and let me tell you. I've been back 3 times since. Best fries in town, hands down. The batter is so good on them. Perfect crunch factor. Now, their breakfast is leveled-up as well. FEED ME THAT BACON!!! Kudos to the chef, it's finally a one-stop shop, something I crave. Of course Harpos has always been the best spot to catch the game, and with Tiger Talk on Tuesdays it just feels like it's the capital of Columbia/Mizzou. MIZ

Great atmosphere after the game. Obviously, since there were 1000 people there. If you don't mind waiting for a table and enjoy hanging out with friends, this is a place for you. The nachos were excellent, and for the amount of people there, our food order came quickly. Would definitely go back.

The ambiance here is unmatched! Quintessential como! The new menu is so much better than before and the servers were so sweet and cute! Making this a regular spot!

Best place to go out in Como on a Friday/Saturday night, however cover can be ridiculously expensive like other places in the area and food is very average but it is a college bar so that is to be expected.

experience was good until we left because a bouncer/security with the name lucas or luke kept brushing up and touching my girlfriend awkwardly and making her uncomfortable, then when i confronted him about it he made another one of his bouncer friends kick us out.

Campus Bar & Grill (also known as Big 12 by previous college students) has some of the best happy hour deals and affordable beverages. When we were attending college, we would go to Campus Bar & Grill every Sunday for burgers and fries. There is an upstairs patio that is perfect to enjoy a beverage on a sunny day! Charges you cover fees even if you just want to get food.... Have your employees mention that before someone decides to come all the down to this establishment. Also can't do carry outs on certain days even though the place will most likely be over packed. Smdh

I highly recommend going here if you love saving money and love sports. I went here for the first time and order a quarter pounder burger with fries for only $2 plus taxes. I will definitely start going on here on Sundays because they have specials on Sundays.

I researched where to go for the basketball game, thought they had good deals, then they spring a cover on you when you show up. At least advertise the cover so prospective customers can decide that your "deals" come with an additional fee. So much for a good deal.

Had dinner sitting at the bar and have been waiting nearly 30 minutes for a glass of water. On a return visit I was left sitting on the patio for over 20 minutes, having to call the establishment several times to have a server come to our table.

Hands down the best brunch and breakfast spot in CoMo! There’s often a bit of a wait, and for good reason. The place is always packed, which speaks volumes about the quality of the food. I absolutely loved their breakfast menu, every bite was super delicious and totally worth it!!

We had a tasty and wholesome breakfast here. There was not a long wait on a busy Sunday morning. Friendly service with a smile. Reasonable prices for quality here. Cozy seating inside and roomy patio seating outside.

Their food is genuinely good. However fix your menu writing and fix your customer service. We ordered pancake wrapped around egg and bacon and then apples and red onions. Please read the pic for Butch Jones DESCRIPTION. My daughter loves all of those. Much to her dismay she got chilie powdered sauce and andoullie sausge.... not in the description. But below that there is a similar sounding dish with very detailed description. How is someone to know that, did it say referring to the item below.... nope. She's 7, spicy is not her jam and if we knew it was we would not have ordered it. Server asked , would you like something else for her, sorry, tried to explain it.... there is no explaining that we cannot read minds of who ever wrote the menu. They charged us for what we ordered next for her. We stilled tipped 20% bc she is not getting a living wage (yay U.S.) But please fix this, own your mess us. And give a distraught kid, whose tongue was burning, a free meal.

Wanted to love this place but maybe I ordered wrong. I loved they had unique breakfast options and aren’t stuck in a rut like many brunch places. I asked the waitress for a few recs and she suggested the vegetarian biscuit and gravy with eggs. (Called the starving artist I think). I found it flat in flavor. The gravy overwhelmed the dish and was excessively fatty. It lacked complexity and brightness to balance the dish. Maybe had there been more spinach and tomato it would have worked but it was just off for me. The biscuit was tasty. I managed to salvage some from the gravy.

I visited Café Berlin with a friend on a Sunday. While the wait line was expected, we were told it would be around 20 minutes. Unfortunately, we ended up waiting for over an hour. I understand that wait times can vary, but the estimate wasn’t even close, which was frustrating. On the positive side, our waitress was very friendly and patient. We asked if the eggs were pasteurized, and although she didn’t know right away, she made the effort to go to the kitchen and find out for us, which I appreciated. However, the food was disappointing. I ordered the eggs Benedict, and even the English muffin had a sour taste. Overall, the meal was not to my liking, and unfortunately, Café Berlin is not a place I’d return to based on this experience.

Fun and convenient cafe in Columbia, Missouri with some great food and friendly staff. I woupd recommend stopping by and grabbing a spot outside in the shade before it gets too hot. The food was great and the staff were around constantly to help us out. I would also recommend trying the Just Breakfast and the Huevos Rancheros. We also got a side of bacon that was cooked to perfection.

Service very slow. Very limited menu, so we only ordered drinks and appetizers for lunch. We ordered the onion petals on the menu, they said they were actually onion rings which was fine. We also ordered the bbq pork totchos It took forever to get them, the people next to us got their food and finished eating before we got ours. The restaurant was not busy. When the appetizers came the pork was cold and onion rings so burnt they were not edible. When we pointed this out to the waitress she did take the onion rings off our ticket and discounted the nachos and apologized saying that the kitchen was having issues. I realize college game days add a level of busy. Didn’t even mind the reduced menu because of the crowds. BUT, was very disappointed with quality, quantity and increased price of the food. Been told your normal menu is really good. Hope to try it one day.

We had a great time with a Thursday night social. 8-25-22. Melody was our server and she killed it! We brought like 20+ people and had a great time. Great apps and a fine selection beers. They have renovated and made it a fun and classy place to hang. Fun outdoor space and a spot for a band. Corn hole and chicken wings! What else do you need?

Went here for lunch after church...not very busy and we chose to dine inside. Our server was nice. The food was good and hot. We both had the Western burger mine with a pasta salad and the other with fries. Did not get asked about refilling my water or the coffee. We finished eating and waited a bit for the check. All in all however it was a good visit.

I visited in a group of 9 to celebrate senior send off as they were offering a 50% off deal for graduating seniors. There was no host so we sat ourselves and ended up going to the bar to get our drinks where Kaylen was the only bartender on duty for a full bar. She provided excellent service and I eventually returned to our table with our drinks. We never had a server approach us to take our food order so I had to flag someone down by the server station as management thought that three servers was more than enough for the entire establishment even when running a deal. We ended up waiting for a moment for our food as the kitchen was probably understaffed as well. Eventually it arrived and at least my entree was overall quite bland but I had waited over an hour and a half so I did end up eating it. When the bill arrived they tried to say that it was only 25% off our bill so we spoke to a manager because this wasn’t at all what they had been marketing. Our server Kaylee was very responsive but was simply not able to give us the time we needed as there was no supporting staff. All in all I’d say the management team needs to set their staff up for success as they clearly aren’t doing that now.

Lovely and kind staff. I used to live in Columbia as a kid and coming back to Shakespeare's Pizza is like coming home. So much history. The pizza being bomb is the bonus! Try the sausage! Some of the best I've had.

Another place we would hang out at during my college days at Mizzou. While on a business trip to Columbia, I took my colleagues to Shakespeare's one night and we had a blast! The pizza was amazing and we all went down memory lane about our different colleges in different parts of the country.

When your in Columbia, you must have the pizza. Ollies salad has my bride hooked and the pizza is amazing. Order at the counter find a seat and wait for your slice or pie to bake. So good

We visited Columbia Missouri for the Texas A&M /Mizzou game and decided to come here after the game. My 18 year old son said this was the best pizza he's ever had. We ordered a largem and took it back to our hotel since we couldn't finish it all. We had it for breakfast since it was so good we didn't want it to go to waste before we drove home. If you're someone visiting Columbia, treat yourself and go here. Be aware there will be a wait, and a hunt for a table of you go right after the game, but it'll be worth it.

Always enjoyed Shakespeare's pizza when we lived in Columbia. We were looking forward to enjoying a pie during our recent stay in town but, after acknowledging they do deliver, Shakespeare's indicated they wouldn't deliver to our hotel. The claim was our hotel was out of their delivery range. When we left the hotel to get some food we saw a Shakespeare's delivery vehicle parked outside our hotel. A subsequent call to the restaurant to inquire resulted in a hang up. We'll be sure to let all of our former neighbors know about our terrible experience.

Our server was outstanding. She was very friendly and helpful with t Recommendations. The food was good. The seared ahi tuna was very good with an amazing amount of flavor in the rice. The Tuna sandwich with tomato sauce was just ok. The martinis very good.

Outstanding food! First I want to talk about the Lemon Ginger flash fried calamari and drizzled in honey soy reduction. It was crispy and delicious. The sauce was a sweet wasabi aioli. Completely different from anything you have ever had and so tasty! Go get this!!! The special for the night was pineapple tacos and they were filled with grilled chicken, jalapeno slaw, candied almonds, pineapple sauce, feta cheese, cilantro, and honey soy. MAN!! So good! Addison's Pot Roast French Dip was flavorful and included Swiss cheese and caramelized onions all served on a hoagie sandwich roll. Now here's the kicker, au jus was blended with roasted garlic and port wine. I kid you not. What a great somewhat sweet taste. The sandwich was light on the roast beef but still tasty. Served with your choice one side. I had a cup of award winning chili and it was full of meat. Much better than most of the chilis I have tried in the area. Very good flavor but not sure about award winning. The atmosphere and ambience was beautiful with several paintings adorning the walls. Wonderful stone columns near the bar. The bar - large area with plenty of chairs and a couple of large TVs. Addison's has plenty of beer but also specialty drinks including several Martini flavors, one being called the French Maid Martini. Service was good though a bit more follow-up would be nice. All in all a terrific place to dine. Highly recommend.

Delicious dinner I had the Ruben flat bread. The calamari were absolutely delicious. Came here off of what was highly recommended off of google walking distance from my hotel and would hands down be a repeat visitor.

Addison has been one of those rare places that never disappoints. Their sweet potatoes are hands down the best I have ever had. I do not know what magic they use in their broccoli side dish, but it is honestly the best broccoli on earth, and I am saying that seriously. And if you have not tried the Louis flat Cuban flatbread or the Mediterranean pizza, you are missing out. Each bite is packed with bold flavors and made with care. This is the kind of place my friends and I choose when we are celebrating big life milestones or just bar hopping and need to recharge with really good food. It fits both moods perfectly. Their wall art is also something I truly enjoy. Please, never remove those pieces, at least not from the downtown location. They give the space a personality that feels alive. I have also enjoyed their sister location for brunch and lunch. Always reliable, always tasty, and always welcoming. I will definitely miss the patio at the south side location, but I trust that whatever comes next will be just as exciting and excellent. The servers are terrific. I genuinely enjoy coming to this bar because even when I walk in solo, they make me feel accompanied. And when I arrive with friends, they blend in so smoothly it feels like they are part of the group. Thank you, Addison, for the food, the memories, and the good energy. You have built something truly special.

First time here (visiting downtown Columbia). Excellent service. Good food, had the Mediterranean salad. Great varied menu. Will certainly return.

I recently visited Addison and decided to try their pulled pork sandwich. Unfortunately, I was left underwhelmed by the sandwich itself. The pulled pork lacked the tenderness and flavor I was hoping for, which was quite disappointing. However, my dining experience took a positive turn thanks to their remarkable Nacho salad. The combination of flavors, fresh ingredients, and a satisfying crunch made it a standout dish. What truly redeemed my visit was the exceptional customer service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and genuinely interested in ensuring that my dining experience was enjoyable. Their efforts to make up for the disappointment with the pulled pork sandwich did not go unnoticed and greatly contributed to turning my overall experience around. In summary, while the pulled pork sandwich didn't meet my expectations, the flavorful Nacho salad and outstanding customer service made up for the culinary disappointment. The staff's dedication to ensuring customer satisfaction is commendable and will likely make me consider giving Addison another chance in the future.

Hands down, this place was awesome. The hostess immediately acknowledged my husband and I, the entire staff was friendly, and catered to our needs. We were given complimentary champagne and the food was delicious. We sat a window seat and was able to enjoy the scenery outdoors and inside. Overall, this is a place that you will enjoy. They also give you a postcard and this little personal effect is great. It is a little costly but well deserved. My total came out to $67 for Shrimp and grits, chicken and waffles with a side order of scrambled cheese eggs, mimosa, and sweet tea. I also left a hefty tip because I believe in paying well deserved servers.

Great location, excellent service. Market Salad was large and a nice flavor but nothing exceptional. I added the salmon to the salad I asked for it to be blackened. They did blacken the salmon, but they also overcooked it until dry. The salmon portion was 2 small pieces. The gumbo soup bowl was ample and flavorful. I like spicy food so for me it was not as spicy as I would have preferred. I went on a Friday night with a group between 6 and 7:30 pm. The restaurant was very busy. Food still came quickly and accurately. The free champagne sample was delicious. However, it was VERY loud making conversations difficult. It was busy and tables were too close.

Genuine, professional, and thoughtful. The staff doesn’t just serve they host. You feel seen, not rushed. On my visit, our server made excellent drink recommendations and ensured each course arrived at the perfect pace. It’s clear the team takes pride in their craft.

Worst experience in many years. They were out of everything. We waited two hours for food. No apologies. No asks if we wanted more drinks. I should have demanded my bill and walked out. Wildly over-charged for the horrible food we had. Never will return, i am just so disgusted by the lack of concern or accountability, You tell me the kitchen is busy but then allow the ice to completely melt in my water glass. I live in Ohio and travel to COMO to see my daughter who goes to college there. This is not authentic Southern food and the hospitality is not there either. You should be ashamed.

I can’t believe I was able to have such a wonderful meal at 11:00 at night. This place should have been packed but, we ended up having the whole place to ourselves. Jerry took great care of us. There was a complimentary wine tasting and bread before we had our dinner and cocktails. I got shrimp and grits with a Grapefruit Paloma. My husband got the burger (homemade bun, pickles, ketchup) and a whiskey business. The place was clean and well decorated, as well. We were also able to go right next door to The Vault before walking back to our hotel. If I were to go back to Columbia, I’d 100% come here again!

Drove here on way home from long trip because they were showing as one of the few gluten free places in Columbia. They had two separate menus online claiming to have gluten free meals available. Upon sitting down not only were there no gluten free options, but prices had went up dramatically. Waitress had no idea what she was talking about, basically just stay away from the fried foods and you’ll be okay. So I had the pleasure of eating junk in the car alone, while the family and my son’s friend ate, well after they finally got their brunch meals anyhow. (Hope you have less than five people or they’ll sit you at their only tables available directly under the only air vents in the place).

We were there on Thanksgiving Day, which featured a three course meal with two choices for each course. I had the salad: delightful, perfect lettuce, tangy dressing, butternut squash, pumpkin seeds, pomegranate seeds, goat cheese. My husband had the soup: delicious, hot, butternut—maybe just a tiny bit too sweet. I had the acorn squash main course, which sounded good but had *way* too many bell peppers — it’s all I could taste, even when I picked them out; also one squash half was undercooked and I couldn’t get my fork through it. My husband had the redfish, which was deliciously spicy and perfectly cooked. His grits needed seasoning, but were fine eaten with the yummy fish. Dessert was so underwhelming: we both had the apple pie. Fantastic flavors, good pastry, but cold and plain. Could have been a perfect 10 if the slices had been cooked a bit more to slightly brown the pastry, and then served hot with maybe a little whipped cream or caramel sauce or something. Overall, we decided a 6 out of 10. The server was really wonderful and the atmosphere and decor were just lovely. We will definitely go back.

Pretty neat old fashioned restaurant with a lot of history. Great place to get a good burger and play some pool. Note that they only accept cash and, unfortunately, do not have french fries! The burger itself was very moist and had good flavor. Unlike other burger places, the burger was not oversized. My boyfriend got the grilled cheese with ham and was very pleased with the amount of ham they put. Would recommend checking out this famous burger restaurant in Columbia!

Great vibe at Beaches! Enjoyed a cold Boulevard Wheat and the Double Western Burger—both hit the spot. Ambience was relaxed and inviting. Only downside is it’s cash-only, which is a bit inconvenient. Still, a solid spot for food and drinks!

I took my daughter here on the way home. The burgers were amazing. I should have ordered 3 of them, though, and not two. The only problem is that it's CASH ONLY. I didn't realize that and had to go to the bank to get cash. Next time I'm back by ill be back and I'll bring cash.

We eat at Booches every trip to co-mo. Loves the burgers, staff and atmosphere. I highly recommend trying the cheeseburgers!

Great place for a burger and beer. Burgers are cooked to order, so expect to get through at least a couple of beers before you get your food.

Historic pool hall (1884). I grew up in this establishment playing 8 ball and progressed to 3 cushion billiards. Excellent bar food served.

This is a good college student's restaurant. It's located right near the Mizzou campus. Lots of appetizers to choose from and a good bar grill menu. Chase, my waiter was courteous and friendly. Great service. First I had the famous "Marty's seasoned chicken wings." Seven deep fried wings loaded with Marty's special spicy seasonings. Crispy and delicious. I had the toasted ravioli and the red dipping sauce was very good. A French dip sandwich was outstanding with sliced pot roast, Swiss cheese, and sauteed onions. The au jus was flavorful and topped off the tasty sandwich. The side of sweet potato fries were excellent. Finally had a Heidelburger Angus beef cheeseburger with bacon, lettuce and tomato. It was good though not a large burger. The Cajun fries were delicious. The atmosphere inside was nice with big TVs to watch sports. The college bar had a lot of beers on tap and in the back had a large outdoor patio. Overall, a fun place to eat for the college crowd or parents visiting their college kids.

Not a bad place to grab drinks and eat some average bar food. None of the food really stood out to me, like something authentic or original. pretty much the same things as anywhere. Still wishing they had the half a star I would give this place 3 1/2 stars. If you do stay around the downtown area it would be a good place to drink.

Great place with a good selection of food and beer. The upper balcony is nice for enjoying the weather. The food was good, the patio could use a good cleaning. Other than that no complaints. Conveniently located across from the campus.

I loved this place when I was going to college at Mizzou and I still love it stopping in for homecoming weekend. It was crazy busy as expected and I still received exceptional service. Mark and the crew behind the bar were awesome and hustled to keep all the drinks full. I couldn't have asked for better service. The food is excellent and they have great happy hour specials for apps and drink.

The Heidelberg is always a a great place to visit when in town for game day. Even when we show up with the large group they are always accommodating. It may take him a while to get a table but we don't mind grabbing a drink at the bar and hanging out for an hour. Food is always consistently good

And they're back! After a very long closure due to a fire in the building last year this Columbia staple is finally open again. The decor is very similar to the old Teller's we all love however it's been upgraded during the remodel to give it a fresh new look. And is much brighter! The food was just as good as before. If you've missed this iconic food stop or you're looking for a trendy place to grab a delicious drink and meet with friends, this is your Columbia go to. So happy to have it back on the CoMo food scene.

Tellers is located downtown Columbia and is known for their fresh entrees as well as their awesome cocktails and mocktails. We would go to Tellers for happy hour all the time back when we were attending college! The salads are vibrant, fresh, and packed with flavors. The appetizers are ALL amazing as well. There are a few tables outside, if you are lucky enough to snag one on a beautiful day. Tellers is a wonderful spot to enjoy a beverage in downtown COMO!

Outstanding. What a wonderful place. The food was delicious - Cajun pasta with a kick. Andouille sausage, shrimp and peppers. Tasty! I added blackened chicken to the entree. Plus for dessert fresh peaches, pecans and ice cream! So good!! The service was 5 star as Hannah was friendly and courteous. She was knowledgeable and explained various items on the menu. Robyn, the owner stopped by and explained the history of the place. She and her partner started the place years ago and has built a solid base of regular customers. By 5:30pm the place was packed with happy people. A fun atmosphere. The bar is loaded with many liquors. Plus several signature drinks that the patrons were enjoying and mocktails too. Highly recommend Tellers for great food and a good time.

So happy Tellers is back. Service was fantastic and personable. Everyone was willing to chat and recommend stuff. Espresso martini was a great way to kick the day off. Started with some fried pickles. The buttermilk sauce that comes with them are out of control. One of the best buffalo chicken wraps in Missouri.

I ordered the Calamari for $14 and received a handful worth. First time in 35 years I sent my food back. Ruined my evening. I WILL N E V E R eat here again! Pasta was delicious, but $21? At Tellers?! Absolute ripoff. Dining here is only a win for tellers. Not the customer..

Visiting from out of state and decided to check out tellers due to a recommendation and was not disappointed! I ordered 3 courses-the baked Brie appetizer, the blackened salmon and the bourbon bread pudding! Everything was insanely delicious! The service was amazing too! So friendly!

This was my first visit to Tellers Gallery & Bar in Columbia, MO. It was fairly busy, but seemed well staffed so service was prompt and the staff was attentive. I had the Onion Rings and Poblano Peppers appetizer and the pan grilled Ribeye Steak. The Ribeye was the special for the evening, I don’t think it is on their regular menu. The food was excellent and whiskey pours were generous. I will definitely return when I am back in the area.

The Roof has always been one of my favorite spots in Columbia. The city views from up there are absolutely beautiful, especially at night. It feels like a little escape right in the heart of downtown.I love their service. Every time I go, the staff is welcoming and attentive, and they help create such a relaxed and elevated atmosphere. One of my favorite memories is when they used to host Latin nights. The energy was amazing, and I really miss those events. Their on-site DJ always keeps the mood alive, and the dance floor is the perfect size to let loose without feeling too packed or too empty. The drinks are great, and I enjoy the small bites, but I do wish the food were a bit more consistent. Some visits it is spot on, and other times it feels like it misses the mark just a little. Still, I keep coming back for the vibe, the music, the views, and the people. The Roof offers a little bit of everything, and I will always have a soft spot for this place.

Beautiful location. The servers where understaffed which I felt bad about. But please don’t order the Brussel sprouts, they were sopping wet and disgusting. We couldn’t finish them. But definitely recommend the boneless wings.

You do not have to be staying at the hotel to enjoy the rooftop and beverages! We went here for my 21st birthday when I was attending college because of its prime location and excellent vibes for a wonderful birthday party. You can find DJ's and good music on the weekends! Absolutely HORRIBLE service! Sat at the bar for a quick drink no one else sitting there (watched 4 bartenders look me dead in my face without acknowledging me)! Move to the outside patio..actually put my timer on and watched every table around me get service..after 10 minutes I got up and left. I don’t spend my money where I’m not valued.

Disappointing Customer Service at an Otherwise Great Venue I visited The Roof in Columbia, MO on 5/23/25 with five of my girlfriends, looking forward to a relaxing evening. The ambiance was lovely, and the setting is undeniably great—but the customer service was absolutely terrible and left a sour taste in what should have been a fun night out. Three of us wanted warm drinks, and our assigned waitress advised us to go downstairs to purchase them since she couldn’t bring them herself. She clearly told us that while the venues were technically separate, it was totally fine to bring the drinks back upstairs ourselves. Following her direction, two of our friends went downstairs and returned with tea and coffee. Moments later, a male staff member approached us and abruptly told us we had to leave. He was abrasive, dismissive, and refused to listen when we explained that his own colleague had permitted us to bring the drinks. We asked to speak to a manager, and Alan Wells came over—without a greeting or any attempt at polite conversation. He curtly informed us that Nightlife was about to begin and we had to leave immediately. His tone was condescending and rude, and he showed zero interest in understanding the situation. When we asked if we could have just five minutes to finish our drinks, he refused and appeared prepared to physically remove us. He later admitted the waitress was new and didn't know the policy, but offered no genuine apology for the public humiliation we experienced. Inconsistencies in policy enforcement and a lack of basic courtesy ruined an otherwise pleasant evening. Alan Wells and some of the staff at The Roof would greatly benefit from customer service training. It's a shame, because the venue itself has so much potential—but we won’t be returning.

⸻ We had a disappointing experience at this rooftop bar in Columbia. After looking forward to enjoying the ambiance and views, we were shocked by how poorly we were treated. The staff asked us to leave almost immediately after we received our drinks, giving us no time to relax or enjoy the setting. What made the situation worse was the lack of courtesy. We were told to vacate our table to make room for another event, with no prior notice. It felt abrupt and disrespectful, especially considering we had just paid for our drinks and had barely taken a few sips. We had to leave our drinks unfinished, which was incredibly frustrating. The entire experience felt rushed and inconsiderate. It’s unfortunate because the location has potential, but the service and treatment we received made it a place we wouldn’t recommend or return to.

Ryan is the best! He always takes care of us and keeps us safe. We always feel so safe and special. He deserves a raise!!

You have a very likely chance of getting groped against your will on the dance floor and you will definitely contract a disease if you go in the girls bathroom in the back. Other than that, you can bet on a very mediocre night that will probably be an exact replica of weekend prior. The two stars are for the nights it isn’t too crowded and I’ve had a good amount of Patron. To each their own.

Came in on a Saturday to spend money and sat for 10 minutes at a table waiting on a waitress,waiter - ANYONE - to offer to serve my group of 3. Good thing Harpos was right down the street to take my $98.97 ticket. Will not ever go to this establishment again.

An okay place, my friends and I didn't stay long, we must have caught them on an off night, the place was dead. Typical college bar, everything that can be sticky is, and the smell is on par as well. Not a bad place to spend some time though.

Was in The FieldHouse a couple of weeks ago and had the worst experience I've ever had in a bar. The bartender Lance, would only serve girls and his friends, so I waited at the bar for an hour and a half (as did many other guys). I FINALLY got my drink by having a girl order it for me. My drink was $5 and I gave him a $10, and he kept the change. I asked for my $5 back and he threw at me and got very angry. If I was the owner I would fire Lance the bartender as fast as possible. NEVER GOING HERE AGAIN AND NEVER RECOMMEND.

Long story short I accidentally bumped the manager while I was trying to get a drink- he was chatting up these girls next to the counter- and he then proceeded to tell the bartenders not to serve me after cussing me out because he'd been "disrespected" in front of the girls. However one of the bartenders had already served me-they were quick about it- so they then proceeded to refuse to close the tab and said I needed to spend more money ($10 minimum) before they would give my debit card back- to which I tried apologizing for whatever I did- then they still held onto it and ignored me for 5 minutes real time -50 drunk time- until the manager went away with the girls and they got tired of me on the counter so they closed the tab and gave me my card back. Columbia is a college town and there are so many better options. Go with your friends to Piano or Harpos. Avoid Field house like the plague.

Had the worst experience there for lunch. I ordered a glass of wine and my dad and I both agreed it was the worst we'd ever had in our lives. They should not even offer white wine if it is that aweful. The wings were pretty good. My dads burger was fine but my chicken sandwich was not even edible. Our waitress was aweful. We had to ask for a water multiple times. She took the wine off our bill and was nasty to us after that. I tried to say something about my sandwich and she just walked away to get back to texting on her phone where she spent the whole meal ignoring us. Overall very poor service. And not great food. Won't be coming back.

Went with our son in the evening. I'd gone to it back in my college days It was different and definitely should be left to the college kids. Jam packed. Great music and drinks.

Not a friendly place if you are over the age of 22. The doorman, charging a $15 per person cover charge, would not even make eye contact. I used to love this place. I don't intend to visit again. This use to be a great live music bar, that is no longer.

When I went in, I didn't know what to expect; pleasantly surprised! Jake, the bartender, was great! Wow, he was fast& friendly! The piano music with drums, complimented each other! Got me dancing! Had a superb time; one of the best times ever! Thank you to all of those, that literally made my night out in Columbia, one of the best, I've ever had! Come here again? Oh, yeah... can't wait!

We went in on a Friday night and had a group of 10 people and requested several songs- spent over $100 and for mediocre performances. Then when we requested a few songs and just expected them to be played without having to pay anymore money, they ignored us. And we were at least more than half the people in the place paying money so it was super disappointing

I used to love Penguin before it was rebought. It is our Mom’s Weekend and we decided to come to enjoy some nice music. We got there right at opening, paid cover and found a table in the back. To preface, this table was COMPLETELY available and had no reserved sign whatsoever. Around 10:30, a worker comes to our table and tell us all that we need to leave the table. This was completely out of the blue, and he said it had been reserved the whole night. We were all confused because our waitress said NOTHING about this and had been taking care of us all night. The manager ended up coming to the table and saying we needed to leave or else they were going to call the cops (for sitting at a table?). Our waitress came over and ended up admitting that she knew the whole night and it wasn’t her job to tell us. The manager ended up comping half of our tab, but when we left we saw him give high fives and hugs to the men who took our table (clearly his friends). This was absolutely ridiculous and my friends and I have lost all respect for this business.

Really disappointed with the new owners. As a college student who loved the old penguin, the new management is making me not want to continue to come. Workers at the door said the cover charge was $10 plus another $10 for the bottomless cup (throwback Thursday special) however, I got charged $27 after checking my account later in the night. I wish they still accepted cash and didn’t lie to me about the price of cover… not happy

Fun time, the college kids came to have fun which was a good part of the ambiance. I bit chilly at first but the people warm it up. Upstairs they had a DJ with different type of music, and have another bar overlooking the pianos. The picture with the neon lights was on the ceiling going down the stairs. Oh yea it opened late, I think I believe it was 10pm and not a lot of tables, apparently college students like standing, there was seating an hr later but that was this day, I would still get there when they open if that is important to you.

This place used to be a blast. Now the volume is set so low that none of the old raucous energy remains.

Flat Branch Pub & Brewing is a wonderful american fare restaurant with delicious entrees and freshly brewed beverages. We love ordering the artichoke dip served in a warm bread bowl. Flat Branch serves a variety of specialty pizzas, tasty pasta dishes, juicy burgers, delicious appetizers, wonderful desserts, and more. Flat Branch specializes in house-brewed beer, so you have to try one of the pints or flights! There is plenty of seating in the main dining area, around the spacious bar, and on the inviting patio. Flat Branch Pub & Brewing is a "Must Visit" restaurant in downtown Columbia, MO.

Very nice! We enjoyed. Clean dining, friendly staff. Food was served quickly even on a busy Saturday for lunch. A little bit of everything, so if you have a picky eater in your group they should find something to enjoy also.

Always really great service and food. A definite favorite spot to grab a casual sit down dinner. Love to eat outside when it’s nice and the outdoor lighting at night is really cute.

First time here, and it will not be my last! Stopped for a burger after a golf tournament based on its rating. This gem certainly deserves its high marks! The atmosphere is great, but the food is better!

Great patio. Delicious French dip, pork tenderloin sandwich and wrap. Plus crowlers (32oz) to go!

A really nice hideout for friends and family to enjoy some well made foods. For starters, we had the Nachos, which I rated a (4) Next I tried the Pastrami Reuben which tasted very good. I know it's their version but I'm used to having more meat in this type of sandwhich. Still I rated this a (4) due to portion size. Their Mash Potatoes were good as well (4). For desert we tried the Brick Oven Apple Crisp. This desert is a must have for at least 2 people. The presentation was excellent and the taste was excellent as well (5). They brew their own beers which are very good as well. For me the beers averaged about (3.5).

We had the steak and crab cake special. The steaks were so flavorful and the crab cakes were delicious. The only complaint is they cooked our steaks longer than they should have.

Great brewery with a huge, multi-floor space. They have both in and outdoor seating. I appreciate the diverse options, including cider. So, if you're not a beer person, you have other choices.

Fantastic big grassy area! And not to mention pet friendly, which is always always priority with me and I'm sure many other fellow beer drinkers. Great service great selection, no food but you can order in. I'm from Portland so my expectations were pretty high and Logboat did not disappoint

We recently stopped by this brewery during our road trip. While we were hoping for a food truck on-site, there wasn’t one the day we visited — but luckily, a few nearby takeout spots saved the day. The food was easy to grab and perfect for enjoying back at the brewery. Beer-wise, they have an excellent selection and the beers we ordered were very good.

The new Facility is wonderful. Bars on both levels and plenty of room inside and outside for gathering. With over 15 brews, seltzers, collaborations, and cider on tap there's some for everyone.

The people at Logboat are the best! I suggested going to a brewery for part of my couple's engagement photos, so we reached out to Logboat to see if they'd be willing to let us photograph on their grounds. They were so accommodating and easy to work with, and their building makes for one hell of a backdrop. Not to mention, their beers are pretty amazing too! And don't sleep on that Turtle Power drink! This place is the best.

This place is really a great place to hang out, we were there for a private event and were treated awesome! Luckily for us we were there during the Christmas season and got to enjoy the beautiful decorations. They have all types of lawn games to play outside and I saw some people playing scrabble inside, just a really cool joint. I don't drink so I can't testify to wether or not the beers are good but it certainly looked like from the crowd they were enjoying the brews and a rather fair selection to choose from.

The shots are overpriced but the mixed drinks are good. Their never busy anytime I go in. It's a sports bar so the have lots of TVs and sport packages to view. Food is decent and reasonably priced

On a Friday early in the night, our waiter informed me after ordering and waiting that they were out of multiple types of beer including the one I ordered. The waiter was extremely slow to refill drinks. The burger and fries I ordered were good, but the presentation left something to be desired.

Food was good. The place was warm like no air on. Nobody there yet. I ordered the pretzel. Cheese curds appetizer. It was good.

Food was good and the service was on point. Those are the good. I wanted to give a higher rating but they charged $12 a pitcher... of Miller Lite, yes you read that correct for a pitcher of Miller Lite. My server said a manager would come speak to me... But one never showed. Surprise, surprise... tells me they honestly don't care about their customers. We were there on a Friday night and literally less then 25 people there on a Friday night. My second and LAST time I will ever step through the door. Food was good but do yourself a favor, save your money and enjoy just as good food at another establishment in Columbia MO and not pay $12 a pitcher.

The food was very mid and my friend got food poisoning for the burger, they ran outta noodle and the waitress was tired and done with working for the night. They also ran outta noodle and put to many mushrooms!🤪🤪🤪 -sinserly Levi’s mom

Really cool place to hangout and have a beer and watch a game. Word of advice...you better be a SEC football fan when going here. And if Hannah is your bartender you better know you beer!!!!

Great drinks and food, awesome happy hour, place is laid back

I love steak but I have a rule of thumb to not order it at a restaurant because myself my wife and my father can always cook it better at home. This includes a very high end steak house that charges 120 a plate and people rave about that me and my father were disappointed by. But on this night I felt like breaking that rule I ordered the ribeye and i was very happy. Cooked a perfect medium rare throughout nice seer and very well seasoned. My wife got smothered grilled chicken and loved it also. If your in the area I highly recommend stopping in.

Big screens for the games are really cool. I’m not one to leave a bad review, but our server was too busy flirting the whole night to bring out our food, and by the time we got it, the food was cold (and a cold chicken sandwich is not good). We ended up just going to the bar to get anything because she wasn’t checking on us and I’m not saying this was like after a 20 minute wait this was over an hour wait between any interaction. Definitely not going back.

We have been here at least 3 different times since moving to MO 4 months ago and this place is ALWAYS terrible. No hostess so you sit wherever you want but it’s always packed and only 3 servers who completely over look you. Food is burnt and bland. If you just want to sit at the bar, this place is fine. But for a good meal, with good service, this is NOT the place. This was our last chance trying this place. We tried multiple times hoping it was just a bad day/night for them. Nope. Not the case. I do not recommend Truman’s to anyone.

As always, great food and service. Still not serving Bur Oak Boone County Brown. Main reason we stopped going weekly, became once every two months patrons. As older, atmosphere got a 4 as would like stereo a bit lower to allow talking during the dinner hour.

“It’s okay if you want to leave, the kitchen is really backed up, I can’t even give you an ETA on the food” - our waitress 30+ minutes after we placed our order. Never in our lives had any of us ever had an experience like that. Ordered takeout from them before and the food is pretty good, was hoping to have a similarly good experience in-restaurant. Instead, on a Saturday night of a gameday, this sports bar on the outskirts of a college town made us wait wayyyy too long every step of the way. Did she just not put our order in? If they’re so slammed, why was she chatting and laughing it up with the table next to us? Half an hour in and not even an ETA on food for 5 people, no apps? Really not inclined to give it another chance in person now, was such a shocking, weird experience felt that others should know

We went on a football Sunday. The atmosphere on a game day is one to experience. I had the buffet and was told the owner is who made my omelet. It was very good and there were several items I could add to make the omelette just the way I like it. Fresh fruit on the buffet was a nice touch. The only reason for the 4 stars is that there were not enough staff to handle the busy day. Someone should be there to help take out food and clear away the dirty tables. The food however was good and the server was awesome.

Nice place very clean. Staff very friendly. Volcano burger super spicy with great fries. Jumbo wings had good sauce but we're very dry.

If you are looking for a great burger, this is the spot. They are super juicy, not too greasy, and if you like cheese, the cheese is super melted and perfect. Cheese curds are SUPER garlicky, which I thought were great, but if you are not big on garlic, I would stay clear. They were not super greasy either, and they had a nice crunch before getting to the super melty stringy cheese. My partner had the fried mushrooms, said they were fresh, have a good flavor, and was served with excellent ranch. Bathrooms were super clean. Service was super fast and very attentive. The tables, weren't super clean and a little sticky, either from not being "clean" or from the varnish starting to come off. Overall a good experience.

I had a burger and fries and a beer. Food was average read that it got voted best burger but not sure why. Burger was cooked med well if not well I like mine medium never asked how I wanted it so I guess they only cook it one way. Was expecting much more but it’s a pretty average 1/4 burger patty. Fries looked good but came out cold and soggy and extremely covered in salt. I like salt but this was doused with salt and I couldn’t finish half of them it was so salty. Mostly if they were hot and fresh I might have but honestly way way too much salt. Price was okay for a burger but a little much for the quality of the burger. Better off going somewhere else if you’re looking for a burger and fries. Also the fries are skinny which I love but only when they are crispy and fresh so it was disappointing.

Classic COMO culture. Friendly, relaxed and high quality food and service. Great burgers. Fun place to shoot pool. I have only been there for lunches so we almost always get a table right away and the tables are open. I hear on the weekends it gets packed. That does not surprise me at all. It would be great if we could get a league going again. It's a great place for a casual business luncheon. Fast and decently priced for what you are getting. Parking is usually pretty easy on that side of downtown. I will be back!!! Oh their fries are TERRIBLE! Don’t waste the calories!!!

I ordered a burger without pickles, onion or tomato. They literally put everything I asked not to be on the burger. When it arrived the server asked "You good bro?" What a great experience.

Crowded, noisy. You may only play pool IF you pay with a card. No cash allowed. I waited at the bar for twenty minutes to get a luke warm pissy local brewed ipa. I then waited for another fifteen minutes to place an order. For a burger and fries. The most basic item on menu. It took an additional forty minutes after placing the order to get a burned up patty and soggy cold fries. Staff was rude. Food was marginal. Better places for the money. It is a college dive and kept alive as such. If you are not young or looking like money, not getting service here.

Longtime customer. Your chili is the best but your customer service is rapidly deteriorating. We walked out after being told to sit at a little table, then to move to a different table because the college students were back in town and they needed the room.

Food is good, nothing special. Really nice people. But I sat at the bar while I waited for my food and watched the guy on the grill cook the food. He put raw chicken and burger patties next to each other. Used the same utensil to flip them both. He also cut someones grilled cheese sandwich with the same utensil after cutting into the raw chicken. While he was putting bacon on someones burgers, he was eating some too. Even though the food is good, I won't go back sadly.

Went last week Sat. early afternoon to enjoy one of their lovely sandwiches and some Guinness on tap, which was warm and not to mention flat because of bad pouring style. The pub was bombarded by college kids drinking mimosas being insanely irritating. The place was so catering to these penny pinching kids that were not ordering anything on menu making our service suffer. We left in under 30min.

I got a buffalo quesadilla and chips and salsa. The quesadilla was not very crisp and the flavoring was not the best. The chips and salsa were the worst chips and salsa I have ever received!! I barely ate any and I LOVE chips and salsa. My friend was not impressed with his meal either. Needless to say I will not be returning. Also the menu itself was sticky and gross!

The Deuce is a very welcoming and positive vibe with fast service and quality food! Personally, I love the cowboy burger and Mac and cheese bites because both are cooked perfectly and come out extremely fast! The service in the pub was very comforting and personable which is always a highlight of my visit. Not to mention, the outdoor patio is huge and well-kept all throughout the day with multiple servers walking around socializing. This restaurant is a perfect place to spend game days, holidays, or even just a chill lunch or dinner vibe. I would definitely encourage people to try the Mac and cheese bites because I promise you will not be disappointed. Overall, I would definitely recommend stopping by and giving The Deuce a try!

The deuce is an amazing time, went there with a couple of my buddies and we had a great time. It is just a good, solid, very clean bar, your shoes will not stick to the floor and you can use the restrooms without being worried about them being dirty. Would highly recommend this place and certainly going back with all my buddies and family. Also can not wait for the weather to get warmer and play some volleyball with the boys here!

Our server Kate was absolutely the Bomb! Great drinks, great food, great atmosphere. Everyone was so polite, timely and attentive! That Cooper guy was awesome too!!!!

Great place to eat and have some fun afterwards. It’s very spacious with a lot of activities. The food was great and came out very quickly. The servers were very friendly and worked very hard.

I absolutely love stopping in at The Deuce with my friends for food after class. Not only is the staff extremely friendly and attentive, but the building is exceptionally well kept and the patio allows for the perfect spot to enjoy the weather! Last time I was there I got the bone-in original buffalo wings, and just like the rest of their food items, they were awesome! I cannot wait for their sand volleyball season to start, they run the best league in CoMo.

I have been to the Deuce multiple times now and I will keep coming back. They offer a good amount of indoor seating as well as a HUGE patio. Inside there is a pool table, two dart boards and shuffleboard. I have tried a few different things from their menu but I love the pretzels and pepperoni pizza. There are TV's everywhere and if the game you want isn't on you can just ask and the employees will most likely be able to put it on. The waitresses and bartenders have been so polite and helpful every time and always have food recommendations when I ask. There is also a very wide selection of beers and liquors to choose from. The atmosphere here is so fun and upbeat; I really feel welcomed into the place every time I go and the music really keeps the energy up.

Nice and loud. Awesome lights all around. Tons of tvs. They have a Pool table, basketball game, dart board and shuffle board. Pizza was really thin, not impressed. West Coast fries had a sauce with a kick. Spinach and artichoke dip needs more flavor, but the burger was good. Not really a place to go for the food but would definitely be fun for drinking and watching one of there 50 TV screens.

This place has the best selection of beer with great bartenders who really know how to pour a beer or make a cocktail! The glasses they use are very visually appealing as well! ITap does not serve food but they allow you to bring in your own if you would like! The atmosphere in here is always great. Music selection is always top notch with a wide range of genres and moods, the TVs are always playing a wide variety of sports as well. They also have a great number of themed nights, my favorite being Wednesday trivia!

Great place to get a chocolate stout! Huge beer selection. Safe easy parking nearby. Good place to meet friends but it is so loud inside you can’t catch up without shouting or going outside.

Looked online and it said it was open til 1 am. I get there at 11:30 and the bartender tells me they just served the last drink of the night. Update the hours if you close earlier so people don’t waste their time and gas driving somewhere that says it’s open later than it actually is.

I still love this place but I’m really disappointed in the way iTap has inflated their prices. $9 for a canned 12oz seltzer is crazy. Do better.

While Joey may be only 4 letters he’s worth 5 stars. Keeps an amazing selection of beers on tap, and an atmosphere of warm and welcome. He’s the reason we are regulars, and worth every dollar.

Best selection in Columbia. Service has always been exceptional for me. Ian who manages the store really makes the place. He is extremely helpful and knowledgeable (like everyone who works there), do not be afraid to ask questions. If you can give any of their bartenders a general description of what you are looking for, they can probably put you on to something that will be right up your alley. Great music and overall environment.

I'm a happy hour customer, so I can only speak about that time/staff/crowd, but this place is great. Very wide selection of beers, local and international, tap and bottle. That's pretty much all they do, and they do it well. Bartenders are incredibly helpful and friendly. Tons of seating both inside and outside. Several TVs everywhere. There are no mixed drinks or even sodas (they brought me a can of Diet Coke when I was here with friends but not drinking alcohol), so don't come expecting a cocktail.
