If you're on the hunt for a unique dining experience in Petaluma, look no further than Stockhome. This charming, family-owned eatery beautifully blends contemporary Swedish and Middle Eastern flavors, offering a delightful twist on traditional street food. Chef Roberth Sundell and his wife Andrea have crafted a menu that celebrates their culinary passions while ensuring there's something for everyone. At Stockhome, you can indulge in an array of dishes inspired by both Scandinavian and Turkish cuisines.
We got the schnitzel, pasta, meatballs, and gravlax, as well as lemonades. Everything was amazing, fresh, and exceeded what we could’ve expected. Service is great too - we even bought the glassware to take home which they went out of their way to let us do.
Oscar D — Google review
We were all excited to try the menu at this Swedish/ Mediterranean style food spot. We tried all the small plates (which were our favorite), the Snitzel, the wraps, and the beet salad. I really enjoyed the beet salad, so fresh and tangy. We sat outside so the atmosphere was very nice. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Service was fast. We would definitely come again to try other items on the menu. And I would order the beet salad again, so yummy!
Georgina C — Google review
The mussels are excellent. The serving is generous and they are fresh and superb. The cream broth is outstanding and perfectly seasoned. My husband will be back for them over and over. The herring is also exceptional. He had the summer tasting menu and it was delightful. We ordered online. The ordering process seemed seamless, but I should have paid more attention. I also ordered a Greek salad with some modifications and it wasn’t included. We drove home 45 minutes and I had no dinner. They were extremely kind and and offered a gift card. All in, it is a delight and my husband is eager to return (as am I, based on the one bite of his French fry).

Really nice. It’s bright and cosy. We love the outdoor seating. We had meatball and beet cured salmon. Both delicious. Staffs were friendly and efficient. Recommended.
Shamrock W — Google review
I had the broccolini pita wrap and it was a great and fulfilling choice. I love the cilantro on this dish because the cilantro with the broccolini is a delicious combination with the soft, homemade pita bread. The atmosphere is very cozy and welcoming. I highly recommend it.
David O — Google review
Swedish and Mediterranean are not two cuisines I would normally put together, but the result is Delicious (yes, it deserves being capitalized)! We’ve tried a bunch of items here from the mezze plate, falafel plate, and some of the Swedish items. Everything was oozing with flavor, fresh, and kept us coming back every time we found ourselves in Petaluma. The Mediterranean food is light, yet very filling. I’d highly recommend the falafel! You can definitely tell they make these in-house. This is the type of place you order and pay at the counter, then they bring your food to your table. Staff has always been very kind, patient, and helpful when trying to decide what to order.
Justin M — Google review
Really yummy food (we got the meatballs, highly recommend) and a good selection of Swedish candy. The interior is pretty simple but there is outdoor seating as well.
Jessica L — Google review
Not an expert on Swedish food. The restaurant is semi self service. It is bright with lots of natual lighting, though the chairs are not the most comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The dishes were pretty delicious in general and the ingredients tasted fresh. The grilled pork was thin, but a bit on the dry side. The meat balls kind of lacked a bit of the meaty flavor. Prices were on the high end.

Californian restaurant
Central Market is a charming bistro in Petaluma, offering farm-to-fork Californian-Mediterranean cuisine and wine pairings in a relaxed, loft-like setting. Despite experiencing a power outage at one point, the restaurant continued to serve guests by candlelight and collected credit card information to process payments once the power was restored. The establishment prides itself on providing a cozy atmosphere and serving delicious yet healthy food, including gluten-free and vegetarian options.
Friendly, unpretentious, delicious food. I had the lamb 3 ways and it was like having three mini meals that each could stand by itself justly. Together they became a symphonic delight.
Walt S — Google review
We had a party of 10. We enjoyed wine, beer and bubbly. Our server was very attentive. The food was all delicious and fresh!
Derek — Google review
The service was spectacular. Everyone was very kind and welcoming. I was a little disappointed in the food though. My short rib entree and the appetizers didn’t match the price points. Nothing really wowed me except the focaccia bread. Overall, I was expecting a little more when spending $40 plus dollars on entrees.
Lamarr E — Google review
Wonderful meal and great service! Many gluten free options. 2:3 oysters were great.
Christy G — Google review
Tony made a meatball: maybe the best meatball…ever. If you’re someone who, like me, is compulsively drawn to order the freestanding meatball on every menu, this will be a spiritual experience. If you’re not a meatball experience collector, the pork chops are also 10/10. There’s a reason this restaurant is packed with locals and their guests night after night, year after year: it always delivers.
Julia R — Google review
Drove from San Francisco to meet friends here. Immediately thought to myself, “Man, it’s kinda quiet in here!”. I’m used to restaurants where it’s loud and bustling. This is not that kind of place. The lights are also bright, whereas most dinner restaurants the lights are dim. So, in terms of ambiance, the restaurant could be better. (But, some people don’t mind this). That said, once the food arrived… it was game over. We ordered a little bit of everything. Pizza. Steak. Sweet corn risotto. Dessert. The food was INCREDIBLE. All of it was delicious. That said, I highly recommend this restaurant and I’d definitely go again. I really cannot make one single complaint about the food or service.
Duke A — Google review
On the way back to Santa Rosa, we stumbled on this spot for take-away dinner and were super pleased with the food. I don’t think they normally do to-go orders, but they were super nice about taking our order. The teriyaki skewers were SO GOOD and immediately gave me high hopes for the pastas which were also delicious. You can taste the quality of the food immediately. We ate those pastas so fast, because they were yummy. Highly recommend the food here!

It's always a good time visiting CM. My wife and I come here for special occasions and love it every time. If you're lucky, the chef will come out and ask if you have any questions or even just check to see how you are doing. Love the atmosphere, nice and big inside. Food is always fantastic, as well as the appetizers and wine selection.

Seafood restaurant
Located in the historic Hotel Petaluma, The Shuckery is a charming bistro co-owned by sisters Aluxa and Jazmine. This convivial restaurant offers a delightful selection of fish, oysters, and shareable seafood mains. The menu features exquisite oysters sourced from pristine waters across North America, complemented by chef-prepared cuisine and elegant wines. With a cozy patio and outstanding hospitality, this seafood haven provides a comfortable ambiance for diners to enjoy their meals.
Everyone was nice. Food was good. Gluten free items printed on menu. Parking want bad. Prices not terrible.
Robin K — Google review
We had an absolutely fantastic dinner at The Shuckery in Petaluma. From start to finish, the meal was thoughtful, flavorful, and beautifully executed. We began with the Della Fattoria bread basket, which was pure heaven. Warm, crusty slices came with garlic olive oil and sun-dried tomatoes that soaked into the bread like a dream. Next came two baked oysters: the Rockefeller, rich and herbaceous, and the Miso, which added a unique umami twist. Both were excellent. The Shuck Caesar was a standout. It was classic, crisp, and bold, with whole anchovies that made my salty heart sing. We followed that with two raw oysters from Pt. Reyes, fresh and briny, a perfect palate refresher before the main course. The seared scallops were the highlight. They were perfectly caramelized on the outside and tender inside, served over a Parmesan like risotto with sesame seed pesto. The risotto could have used a touch more parmesan and seasoning, but the scallops more than made up for it. Service was warm and attentive. The location inside the historic Hotel Petaluma adds a cozy and upscale charm. Whether you’re an oyster lover or just looking for a memorable seafood experience, The Shuckery delivers.

Grabbed an early dinner here on our first day in Petaluma as we stayed in the hotel. Loved the counter table overlooking to the intersection of town. Service was alittle slow and wasn’t really attentive. My wife accidentally tipped over her wine glass and spilled some. We were right in front of the reception desk and no one even came around to wipe down the table for us. Had to say the food was very excellent. Everything was well prepared and tasty. What’s funny was we charged the tab to our room as it was easier for us to settle one bill upon checkout. 2 months later we were reached by the restaurant saying there was an accounting error and the tab never got charged to the room. I was pretty sure I filled in the correct room number on the tab. They had to sent us a form to fill in our credit card details. Mistakes happen so I guess it’s no big deal.
Michael M — Google review
Great experience. We started with the tinned fish and grilled octopus, both were standouts. The octopus was charred just right and super tender, and the tinned fish selection felt thoughtfully curated. For our catch, we went with the halibut and it was buttery, fresh, and cooked beautifully. Service was smooth and attentive. Our server, Travis, had great timing, offered solid recommendations, and checked in just enough. Definitely added to the overall experience without making it feel overdone. Will be back!
Jasmine R — Google review
It is absolutely amazing, great food. If I am to compare it to Salty girl, Salty girl is truly outstanding nothing to compare, really. However, we had the wild fish catch of the day and it was amazing truly exceptional in flavor a must try. I wouldn't try the tinted menu tho.

Celebrating our 6 year anniversary with my boyfriend, we stopped by The Shuckery for their Happy Hour. Great drinks and amazing selection for Happy Hour. Our server, Max, went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time (1st impressions are important!!) We’ll see you all soon! Highlights: service, decor and obvi the oysters
Jennifer C — Google review
Very cute place with indoor and outdoor eating. The oysters were phenomenal. The rest of the food was tasty but I would come here for the oysters. The server was very nice and friendly and did her best. The food took a long time to get out and wasn’t properly paced. That didn’t ruin the experience but that’s why I am giving it 4 stars. I would order the Calamari again but would skip the ceviche. The non-alcohol beer was great.
Viktoriya W — Google review
Highlight of our trip to Petaluma to escape the July 4th fireworks. Everything was amazing, and they fit us in at the last minute at a window seat. However, the bar stools at a counter height table were awkward and uncomfortable. They are better for waiting for a table, but should be swapped out with a comfortable option if having dinner at $100+ person.

Table Culture Provisions, located in downtown Petaluma, is a popular dining spot offering hyper-seasonal California cuisine with a mix of comfort food and haute cuisine. The restaurant initially started as a pop-up at Wishbone restaurant but has now become one of the hottest dining tickets in Sonoma County. Owners Stephane Saint Louis and Steven Vargas offer a Michelin-worthy multi-course tasting menu along with an a la carte menu from 4 to 6 p.m.
You’re missing it big time if you’re traveling to the area but not trying this place out. Exemplify how farm-to-table is not just a gimmick but what the future of food should look like - equitable, respectful, beautiful. The tasting menu is full of delicious surprises so I won’t spoil you with details. It’s also seasonal so expect something different from our experience as well!

Had an outstanding dinner tonight with my husband and teen son. Two of us had the 7 course tasting menu and one had the 4 course tasting menu. We ordered on top of that the Parker house rolls and one order of the caviar (5 oz). They were so kind to split the caviar into 3 exquisitely plated little bites, one for each of us. Every single dish was a triumph of taste, texture, temperature, and aesthetic. The servers were very attentive and kind. The space though tiny was modern elegance that was also warm and intimate. 3 chefs produced this delightful meal in a tiny galley kitchen with a large window so you can see them work if you are seated on that side. I’ll request that next time. Very deserving of its recently awarded Michelin star. I hope to return as the dishes change with the seasons & everything is sourced locally and sustainably. We also had an exquisite bonus dessert for my son’s birthday. And, a very sweet touch, a birthday card signed by all the staff was waiting on our table when we arrived.

Table Culture Provisions is a truly stunning experience. The food is absolutely delicious, and every dish is plated beautifully—a feast for the eyes! Host Jackie is the kindest, most down-to-earth person you’ll meet. This spot is a must-visit for great food and even better hospitality.

Table Culture Provision - I give it 5 Lardons, my highest rating!!! We have dined with TCP several times since they opened up at this location and all experiences have been great, however, this one was spot on in every way. And it was extra special because we brought my brother-in-law and wife for his birthday, neither of whom had visited before but had heard us raving over the years about how amazing TCP is. Because of this, there were some pretty high expectations from their side of the table and TCP's chefs, servers, and staff fully delivered, with my sister-in-law even proclaiming that this very well may have been the best meal of her life. (It certainly ranked Top 5 all-time for us.) The food was amazing, the service was top notch (efficient and professional, as well as perfectly friendly) and the ambiance was warm and welcoming. I highly recommend getting the full menu...and DO add the Parker House Roll! Every time I hear someone at another table ask a server what it is, I want to lean over and tell them to just order it and if they like it, I'll buy it off them. And as far as the tasting menu, it's fantastic. We have had the pleasure of dining at a lot of Michelin starred restaurants and cannot quite figure out why TCP has not yet received this distinction. Their food and service easily rank at least halfway up our list of actual Michelin star.experiences, and easily beats out the 2 star restaurant up the coast that we have visited several times. However, at the same time they have not overdone it with ridiculous food and perplexing dishes and cutlery. They are very creative while still remaining approachable and fun. We usually find at least one item on a tasting menu to be a bit off but every single one on this menu is well thought out, well prepared, and absolutely a delight for the eyes, the nose, and the tongue and belly. I wish I could pick a favorite but all were amazing. But I will say that the prosciutto bite was unique (I could easily eat half a dozen of those balls), the scallop may be the best crudo we have ever had, the duck was perfect (what we expect from Liberty Ducks in the hands of Chef Steph and Chef Steven), and the pre-dessert and actual dessert were simply amazing. Finally, the service was first class. As my regular readers know, I revel in great service and love to give that credit where it is due and Danny and Jessie (both Petaluma Foodies, I believe) not only complimented but complemented the experience perfectly. They are professional without being stuffy and are knowledgeable without being condescending. They give 3 star Michelin service while keeping things fun, light, and enjoyable. And they did not try to run us off as soon as we were finished with our meal. They allowed us to relax and bask in the glory of what we had just experienced, and honestly, that extra 10 minutes or so that we lingered was necessary so as to fully appreciate what we had just experienced. As an added bonus, their lighting above the tables is perfect for food photos. They are LED orbs that put off enough light to keep the room well lit, but unless you are directly under them, you do not even see that they are on. But slide your dish to the middle of the table and you have excellent overhead lighting so that you don't have to use your phone's flash or ask a companion to light things up with their cell phone's flashlight app. And for those who saw my question here last week about the corkage fee, we love their wine selection (they even have an amazing non-alcoholic sparkling wine), but the bottle of port we brought from home was so worth it to have with our meal that the corkage fee felt like a bargain! Although TCP may be one of the pricier places in Petaluma, when compared with other Michelin-esque places, they are actually quite a value. And if you want to taste the same flavors but from a more cost conscious menu, check out their Social Hour. We cannot wait to visit TCP again, soon!
Avant P — Google review
Did the 7 course menu, and I recommend it. Every dish was good or excellent. Only complaint was the “New York” steak dish was surprisingly not tender. In fact, it was kind of tough, but still good. You won’t walk out of here full. It’s not that kind of experience. It’s definitely fine dining, and many of the courses are a bite or two, but a very good bite or two:) Brought a special occasion wine, and corkage was $50, which is whatever. Service was attentive. The space is small, minimal, and intimate. It’s definitely worth a visit.
B K — Google review
I've only done a few tastings in my life. This was wonderful. We did the four course tasting and for the price it was excellent. The whole meal was an experience. The service was impeccable. The thought put into the decor felt so purposeful. Thank you for a wonderful evening to celebrate our 40th birthdays and our first trip to Wine Country.
Jennifer O — Google review
The best experience ever. Don't need a lot of words to praise such a fantastic establishment. My husband and I went there on our recent honeymoon while visiting Napa and their food was literally the best part of our trip (and we dined at a lot of amazing restaurants fortunately). A huge thanks to the chef for accommodating my husband who is vegan and doesn't drink as well (all equally beautiful dishes and super impressive non-alcoholic champagne). Just do yourself a favor and you'll have a great time!
Amy Y — Google review
Incredible culinary experience, and wine pairing was top notch. Wow. 10/10. Can't honestly say anything other than this meal was perfection. Timing. Quality. 7 course plus reserve wine pairing was the best meal we've had all year, including many 1 and 2 star restaurants. Came starving, left absolutely stuffed. Wow wow wow.

Nestled on Main Street in Downtown Penngrove, the Penngrove Pub has been a beloved local watering hole since 1907. This charming establishment opens its doors bright and early at 10 a.m., welcoming patrons with a cash-only policy that adds to its old-school vibe. Local dive bar. It's over 100 years old and has never really been updated. The beer selection is ok and the liquor is limited. The bartenders tend to cater to the regulars but the ambiance is worth the stop in the tiny town of Penngrove

Nestled in the heart of Petaluma's historic downtown, Jamison's Roaring Donkey is a vibrant bar that perfectly captures the essence of community and fun. With its catchy motto, "Friendly Folks, Mean Drinks," this dog-friendly establishment offers an array of activities to keep patrons entertained. Join in on Trivia Night every Tuesday evening or showcase your talents at Open Mic Night on Wednesdays—where everything from spoken word to magic acts takes center stage.
Please if possible bring back the old format with side dance floor open. Maybe add 2 DJs Reggaton in front and Hip Hop in the side area, just a thought, But I love this spot regardless. Always a fun Friday and Saturday. Hip Hop dj plays the hits. Decent looking young crowd, affordable drinks and the dance floor is always packed. Security is very nice. Thor and Aurora are great door people

This place is crazy busy with young college kids and coasties, on the weekends it gets crazy and if you like to watch fights this is the place to go. They have a security team filled with criminal thug bouncers who beat up patrons often and is the only reason I walk by there. The atmosphere is chaotic and often over crowded, the line to get in is always backed up, the drinks are on the more expensive side and if you don't tip the bartenders a substantial amount they won't serve you the next time you want a drink.
Nature B — Google review
If I could give this bar 0 stars I would. Ever since the new rules, the lines have been crazy. It can take anywhere from 15 minutes to 2 hours to get in. The bouncers are constantly letting any one who pays them a crazy amount to get in and skip the lines. The drinks are honestly not worth the wait. Dont waste your Friday/Saturday night here.
Tanya R — Google review
Cool casual atmosphere. Music events in a separate room. I'm not into the weekend crowds but the low key afternoon atmosphere is pub like.
Jennifer A — Google review
Neighborhood urban pub with strong local brewery selection and capable bartenders for cocktails. Quiet vibe on weekdays but rocking weekend nights. Juke box, pool and large video screens. Closed due to idiocy.

Showed up on open Mike night during Halloween weekend. Was a blast and had a great time. Bartender was very nice and made awesome drinks. Loved their t-shirt logo and even bought one as a souvenir. They do not serve food, but a great place for drinks! A visitor to the area and the place was recommended by the hotel staff and we were not disappointed!
Michele K — Google review
Quite possibly the worst bar with most pathetic employees I have ever been to. Out with a friend for dinner on a Friday night, decided to stop in a grab a drink before heading home. The bartenders are total d-bags who think they are super cool. The drink was terrible so we switched to beer. As the place started to fill up one of the bouncers came up and said "maybe you should fine another bar". Mind you, I am In my 50 and my friend in their 40s. We were just sitting at the end bar talking so I have no idea why he would say that except that the clientele were a bunch of drunk and drugged our bangers, mostly from Santa Rosa. Maybe the "old guys" were messing up their skanky vibe. We had a second beer instead of leaving. Next thing I know my buddy is gone. Didn't say a word to me, was just gone. A few minutes later I started feeling sick. I walked out a called my wife and that is the last thing I remember. The next day she said that she had "never seen me so drunk". I guess I took Uber home but remember nothing. Note: I had one Manhattan with dinner and 1.5 beers. I am 200 lbs. and can drink a fair amount of booze. There is no way I should have been drunk. Next day I called my buddy. He remembers feeling sick and leaving the bar. He said his leg was cut and his pants ripped but doesn't know what happened or how he got home.I was sick for a week after that. Something happened in that bar. It is a sleazy disgusting place. If you want to get drugged while hanging out with a bunch of posers, have bad drinks and flat beer then knock yourself out. Otherwise steer clear. It is not safe.

Amazing, fresh, locally sourced food with plenty of vegan options, water view, beautiful scenery and decor, everything you can ask for, zero complaints. Vegan options galore! The vegan shepherd pie? OMG... To die for. And... Vegan chocolate cheese cake... Need I say more?

Had really high expectations for the food at this place as it was highly rated on many platform. We left a bit disappointed. Maybe we tried the wrong things however the pork chop dish was a bit burnt lacked salt and flavor. The fig and prosciutto pizza was nothing special. I would add a drizzle of olive oil or balsamic glaze to tie it all together. The farmers salad would be perfect but it was missing a sweet component such as dried cranberries or a fresh apple. Not sure if I would repeat but a bit disappointed.

Great food! Great location (close to waterfront, central)! Great vibe. Friendly staff. Tons of vegetarian options. Highly recommend. We tried their Sweet Potato Quinoa cakes, Into the Woods Pizza and Polenta fries. DELICIOUS! We were full but also wanted to try the Mac n Cheese and Shepherd’s pie. 🤤

Went for lunch with a party of 7 and had a decent meal and experience. We had reservations so we were seated quickly. Nice atmosphere and good range of menu and wine selections. Started with appetizers of an olive plate and a roasted cauliflower plate- both very tasty. Our meal selections included a WGB burger, adult grilled cheese and soup, the Veggie Delight, a salad special, and one Gone Fishing. Good solid entrees, nothing fancy, but good. Staff was pleasant and service was good. Parking in the area is challenging and mostly 2 hr limit spots. Reservations recommended if you’re going.

Very quaint little restaurant with excellent food and service. They have both outdoor and indoor seating. I had an heirloom tomato salad that was very, very good. Well prepared and beautifully plated. Friendly staff and clientele. Conveniently located in one of the nicest parts of Petaluma. Reservations are highly recommended because there were quite a few people waiting when we left.

Amazing experience overall! Food was incredible and we had a great server. Although the great service didn’t end there, the bussers, host and food runners all had great attitudes and were extremely helpful and friendly! However I would say if you have a seating preference then you should make a reservation as they are typically pretty busy. We wanted to sit inside but we had to sit outside as it was fully booked (our fault :) ).

Service, ambiance were great, as usual. My lunch friend was raving about the cakes, which I had never tried, so we ordered one slice of one, to share. Once it arrived, she was astonished and embarrassed to have recommended it. It was not a generous slice, very dry, and seemed several days old. I didn’t want to be too critical, as she was the one who would recommended it, but everything she said seemed spot on. She had doubted it as the best cake in town. I’m sure, if it had been fresh, it would probably have been more pleasant, but for $14 a slice, and a small slice at that, it was very disappointing

We loved our food! Everything was delicious. We had two pizzas, burger and kids pasta. Place is nice and clean. I loved my pizza - all ingredients were fresh and tasty. They have gluten free options for pizza and desserts.

Risibisi is a charming Italian eatery known for its refined, locally-sourced cuisine and impressive wine selection in an intimate setting. This romantic outpost offers a cozy ambiance with subdued lighting, creating a warm and lively atmosphere. The attentive and accommodating staff enhance the dining experience. The menu boasts exceptional dishes, such as delectable spaghetti (rated 4/5) that is flavorful overall but lacks intensity.
A very nice place with good food and lovely atmosphere. I wasn't impressed with the boar gnocchi, but my husband really enjoyed the chicken. Tiramisu was probably the best one that we tried (including the ones that we eat in Italy).

Father's Day visit so not sure it excuses the issues with getting seated. We had reservations and several parties were kept waiting to be seated, for no apparent reason. Once seated, things were better although drinks were slow. The Calamari starter was good, not too greasy, but dips didn't seem to go. The bruschetta was pretty good with delicious balsamic reduction. The bread came presoaked in olive oil which was a little unusual. Filet mignon was excellent as was the pesto fettuccine. The 2 gnocchi dishes, mushroom and wild boar, were disappointing, the sauce was under seasoned, hardly any mushrooms and the wild boar tasted like beef. Service staff were friendly but hard to get hold of. Overall ok food, probably won't go back.

Had a wonderful time at Risibisi. The food was amazing. The Tomato Bruschetta was the best i’ve ever had. The bread was perfectly toasted on the outside and soft on the inside. I had the eggplant parm and it was so flavorful and a perfect serving. My husband had the Carbonara, he said it was really good and creamy. We look forward to another visit and trying something different 😊

I had dinner here tonight with some friends. We shared salads, pasta and wine. Everything was delicious and the service was perfect. I love the atmosphere as the lighting is perfect and the seating is so comfortable. It’s truly a gem in the heart of Petaluma.
Allison B — Google review
Nice atmosphere, and decor. Service felt ok, pastas are not impressing... Too much salt and not much flavor. The special salmon risotto, way over powered with lemon zest, it covered any other aroma. That risotto wasn't really at the level you'd expect from a $32 price tag. Overall it left like a mediocre italian restaurant with prices pretending to be a fancy one.

Lunchette is a delightful little spot that caters to those on the go, offering a variety of healthy and delicious options perfect for a quick lunch. Located in Petaluma, this charming venue specializes in grab-and-go salads, warm grain bowls, and even pizza al taglio.
My favorite/go-to lunch spot in Petaluma (and all of Sonoma County!) Not only is the food incredible, but they are amazing people. The brunch bowl is my go-to, but all the salads and seasonal specials are always perfect. Couldn't recommend more!
Ethan S — Google review
In a town with endless food options, Lunchette is hands down, my first choice. I have come to count on the quality of ingredients, the integrity of the prep, the health benefits of every dish, the overall integrity of the operation, and the delicious, satisfying taste of anything I purchase. Also fun to pick up soup or treats to take home! And I should mention the friendly, kind service, even during crunch times with many customers needing assistance. This place is important to support for all of the above reasons and to ensure their continued presence in our community. I am grateful for lunchette!
Marcy B — Google review
I cannot say enough good things about Lunchette. The owners are active and engaged community members, and their love of this community shines through in all aspects of the shop. They source locally and responsibly, greet many customers by name (and know their orders!), and support local nonprofits. Oh--and did I mention the extreme deliciousness of their dishes? Absolutely top-notch. The owners support their own work-life balance by closing on weekends and holidays, which I respect. (Although I would love to be able to pop in on a weekend for a lunchtime grain bowl!) Kudos, Lunchette. I am grateful for your beautiful presence in our downtown.

More of a take away place is why I gave it 4 stars on atmosphere. The food is SO GOOD! They also have a few condiments for sale and they have SUPER good chili crisp if that's something you enjoy. They are an awesome company, too. Naomi, the owner puts heroic efforts into running her business the way everyone should run their business (people oriented and ecologically responsible sourcing). Would give them 6 stars if I could!

Buffalo Billiards Pool Hall is housed in a historic red-brick building dating back to the 1860s, adding to its rustic charm. The custom-made furnishings, crafted from recycled pool and shuffleboard tables, create a unique ambiance for enjoying a game of pool accompanied by jukebox tunes and pub grub. With 21 pool tables, this establishment welcomes players of all ages and skill levels.
This place is super spacy n chill. Even though there was a tournament we were still able to get a table. I was really happy with service and overall experience of local townspeople was pretty laid back.

My friend suggested going here, she said good happy hour specials, pinball, ping pong, darts, and of course, Pool! Happy hour prices, awesome! We got cheese pizza, $5.00 we ate all but one piece, which I took home. Atmosphere, open doors onto Petaluma Blvd, great music, lots of seating, would definitely return
Kathy H — Google review
It's such a nice place to relax and have some fun. Good vibe, good music, friendly staff, and many games to play. Family friendly, just so good.
Petru M — Google review
I’ve been coming here for years and got to say I love Buffalo Billiards. I come up from Marin to play here a few times a week. The staff are all helpful and courteous. There is a decent selection of food and beverages. When you order food, it comes pretty quickly, and is of good quality. The tables are all well kept, despite how much use they get from the general public. There is a good balance of “small” 7 foot and “big” 9 foot tables. This place really has a family atmosphere, with the kitschy decor, kids running around, frequent parties and events, and groups of college kids who have never held a cue stick before. This is balanced by the serious pool players who frequent the place for tournaments and league play. Petaluma is lucky to have such an awesome gathering place!
Christopher G — Google review
Nice family friendly game room with foosball, pool, ping pong, darts air hockey and pinball and good draft beer. They do need to get real Tornado foosballs for their otherwise high quality table, the slippery white marble in their table is almost impossible to control.

Hallie's Diner is a vibrant and relaxed daytime cafe that offers familiar American breakfast options in a traditional atmosphere. Renowned for using fresh ingredients from Sonoma County, this local favorite serves up classic dishes like cornmeal pancakes, fluffy waffles, and freshly squeezed orange juice. It's worth noting that the diner can get busy, particularly on Sunday mornings, so arriving early is advisable.
Very good service. I accidentally ordered something I am allergic to. The lady is able to accept the return and help me to order something I can eat. Long waiting line. The food may take a while to come out.

Had brunch here today with my daughter and we were lucky to get seated right away as it’s a popular spot, especially on weekends (opted for outdoor seating rather than wait for a booth). I ordered a scrambled egg skillet and my daughter had a Greek omelette. Both were excellent!
Tom H — Google review
I’ve honestly never been to a bad breakfast spot before. But the food here is absolutely terrible. 14 of us ate here and every single thing except for bacon and eggs were just not good. The pancakes were the worst I’ve ever had in my life and everyone else at the tables. It was like mush texture and tasted raw. And this was after we ordered 3 full stacks of 3 which is a whopping $12 each too. Like if you just got a box pancake mix from any store it would be so much better. The meatloaf was not edible. It was like breadcrumbs had a sale and meat is not available. The apple chicken sausage was so tasteless it was just like eating texture. The steak and eggs steak was tough and chewy. Even the whole wheat toast was terrible, I don’t even know how you do that. But they did it. $230 for our food and mannnn. I wish we went to dennys. It would’ve been so much better. The service was very good though, that’s the two stars. And the diner itself is cute. But food wise I’ve never been so disappointed in a typical breakfast spot. The craziest part is it’s so busy, I guess because it’s the closest breakfast spot around the hotel.

We were told an hour half wait. We saw people going in and being seated. We asked to speak with the Manager. The manager explained that the tables were reserved. He said he has a table. If we could be finished with our meal in an hour and a half we could seat us there. GREAT! The drinks we strong😉 We did not get appetizers. We ordered the wedge salad ( a must try) 😋 It was a long wait for our food but they were very busy. We ordered the Filet mignon with spinach and potatoes. It was delicious. We thanked the manager for the wonderful service we received. I see why they have a 4.6 rating. If I'm ever in the area again, I will be stopping by.

We had reservations for 3 but we reached early. We were seated immediately. Happy hour was about to close but luckily we made it. We ordered 4 items from happy hour menu and 3 from main dinner menu. Happy hour items are amazing! What a fantastic value for price on the steak skewers! We liked them so much that we ordered them a second time and the server was able to still get them! The short ribs are braised for 5 hours in Zinfandel and they are amazingly soft and delicious! Would highly recommend those too! The Wagyu ribeye was amazingly delicious too but it was a just a tiny bit chewy for medium rare. Amazing taste though. Loved the dinner and the time spent on it special occasion!

Let's start with this was our 39th wedding anniversary. First off we had a reservation and when we arrived we were seated immediately. We ordered drinks which arrived promptly and or orders were taken at that time. As I had read on a review I read our food would come definitely quicker than almost any quality restaurant I've been to, we were even able to switch the mash from what we ordered to duck fat potatoes (what a great decision that was). When it came to the food Wow! We both ordered the Surf & Turf, the turf being a 5 oz fillet mignon and the surf 2 nice sized scallops all cooked to perfection. Then came dessert, I had the peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream on top with a touch of blueberry and the crumble was heavenly. My wife had the tiramisu which was scrumptious with a wonderful full espresso taste you'd expect in this classy dish. To put it simply the topper of this experience was our server Natalie . She was the type of person we could be close friends with it seemed like every time she came to the table all three of us would be laughing the whole time. She was so sweet, when she brought us our desserts she had put a candle in both of them and lit them. Wish all my dining out experience included someone like Natalie, she's fun and very good at her job. My advise if you dine there is to be seated at one of Natalie's tables. Thank you Natalie for making our 39th anniversary dinner such a wonderful fun experience.

Happened to be up in the area on a bit of a whim, and stopped into seared. Wow, wow. Shared a few items- prime rib taco, wedge salad, kung pao prawns and the steak and scallops. SO so good. The drinks were also fabulous. Would definitely go back when we’re in the area.

Great service. Prices are roughly what you'd expect for a steakhouse. We came with no reservation on a Friday and were seated pretty fast. The surf and turf was delicious, I lament that there were only three scallops (perfectly savory and seared, I could have eaten a pound!). Small wine menu but a lovely dessert selection.

Brewsters Beer Garden is a laid-back, open-air venue in Petaluma, known for its modern BBQ and local craft beers. With a 350-seat capacity, it offers a bocce court and a children's play area. The beer selection includes local brews like 101 North Brewing Co. and Lagunitas Brewing Co., as well as tap takeovers by breweries such as HenHouse Brewing Co.
Brewsters is a fantastic outdoor/covered dining destination, especially for those who enjoy live music and a lively atmosphere. The vibrant decor, particularly during Halloween and Christmas, is festive and truly over the top, adding to the overall charm of the place. It’s a great spot for families and large groups to gather, but be sure to make a reservation to secure your spot, as it can get busy. With its welcoming vibe and delightful ambiance, Brewsters is hands down one of my favorites to take people. An amazing and enjoyable place to relax and unwind.

if you are in the area, this is a super chill spot to hangout and have some yummy food and beer. Parking was a little rough, but you won't regret it.
Rin S — Google review
The atmosphere seemed nice at first, but the overall experience was disappointing. Because it’s an outdoor restaurant, insects were a noticeable problem during the meal, which made it hard to enjoy the food or conversation. And it is worth mentioning it’s not exactly in the cleanest area either. The food itself was average — nothing that really stood out. For how expensive everything was, the quality and portions just didn’t feel worth the price. It wasn’t terrible, but definitely not something I’d rush back for. Overall, it looked promising, but the combination of high prices and constant bugs made it a letdown.
Yucky_Yummy — Google review
Finally a great outdoor beer garden, with really good food options. Very family (and dog!) friendly if that matters to you. If you don’t want to be around children, recommend waiting til after 8pm to visit. We were a group of 5 (2 adults + 3 teenagers plus a well behaved dog). We got a few burgers (juicy, flavorful and a generous portion), a fried chicken sandwich (enormous and actual chicken under the breading) and a salad (fresh and flavorful - just right amount of dressing). Service was very friendly and adequate (a few times we wanted like an extra plate or napkin and it took some time to get our waitress’ attention). All in all an excellent experience. We all left feeling happy with our meals and the time we spent together. Cheers to you Brewsters!

Nature & Parks
Helen Putnam Regional Park is a rustic area with steep hiking trails, a pond for fishing, and wildlife viewing opportunities. The park offers six miles of equestrian, biking, and hiking trails with panoramic views of Petaluma. It's a great spot for bird watching and features diverse oak forests, grasslands, and seasonal wildflowers. Visitors can also enjoy picnicking in the serene surroundings.
One of my favorite local spots for photographing families, engagements & more! If you are open to a short hike, Helen Putnam offers some of the best views in Petaluma! ANY time of year!
Alison P — Google review
First time here. What a beautiful park. Plenty of trails for all levels of hiking. It has bathrooms and is dog friendly. If you do the outer loop there is some killer views of Petaluma and the surrounding mountains. I parked in the parking lot. There is a $7 fee to park. There is a cute pond that people were fishing at.
Casey M — Google review
The first and only time I have visited Helen Putnam Regional Park was over the winter season. It was a spontaneous and accidental finding. As I was trying to share the beauty within Sonoma county to my friends I ended up finding an unexpected treasure of nature. With the cold and wet season at the time, my group and I didn’t stay long nor did we explore much of the park, but what we did see was quite spectacular. There’s green hills shown in a panoramic view. The people that walk around here are so friendly. Even the people with dogs. If you decide to explore this park during the fall and winter season I would make sure to come prepared. Wear shoes that you’re okay getting muddy in and wear a warm jacket. The wind gets strong especially the higher you go. There are two entrances alongside Chileno Valley Road. The first entrance is on a black concrete road. As you drive down you will see on the right side is a line of parking spots that look toward the children’s playground. There are trees that hug this area. On the other side of these parking spots is a set of restrooms and if you walk further down you run into a walking trail. The second parking lot is all gravel and it leads straight to the main hiking trail with the wooden steps. There are nine trails total in this regional park. Some of the trails continue with the wide views of the green hills, some lead to water and ponds, and others you find yourself amongst the forest of California oak trees. The walk to Overlook Point is short and the first trail you encounter up the steps. It has the wide view of the hills. You go from the parking lot and follow on the dirt trail which then leads you up some wooden and steep steps. Once you reach the top you’re at the Overlook Point view which contains a couple of benches and picnic table next to a big and shady tree. This trail isn’t ideal for those with wheelchair disability. However, there are smoother trails that are better suited for the disabled. This park invites equestrians, cyclists, and hikers. Dogs are allowed as long as they are on a leash. There is fishing at the pond there which is called Cattail Pond. The park is open from 7am-sunset. The parking fee is $7 unless you’re a member within the Sonoma County Regional parks which in that case is free. To the beautiful people of Sonoma County and visitors abroad this 216 acre regional park is worth the short exercise and sightseeing! You will definitely find yourself with stunning views and among a kind and natured-oriented community. I would definitely put this one on the list of places to visit!

Beautiful park - easy to find- ample parking. A very easy walk or hike. Suitable for Doggo friends. Will go again. Nice views

My favorite hiking spot in Petaluma. Parking is easy and it’s rarely ever overly-crowded. I was SO excited to see the bathrooms are now open instead of the porta potties that were there for the last few years. There’s a lovely fishing pond with a couple of benches where you can picnic. Lots of ticks so make sure to check yourself and your furry friends. A bunch of different short trails. It’s not a very long hike whichever trail you take (I think the total distance is only 6 miles).

This park is wonderful for Hiking, mountain biking or Horse back riding. The trails are well maintained and have benches to sit and enjoy the views. I have been coming here for years taking my daughters fishing in the pond. Come out and enjoy the park with its abundance of wildlife and view of rolling hills. There is also a picnic area with playground for kids…

Awesome hiking and bicycle trails and a wonderful view

Great open area for hiking and walking, some of the hillsides can be a little steep; I recommend starting at the entrance on the right. There are some wonderful views of the surrounding area. Everything was a little dry but that's to be expected at this time of year. Good views and nice people, everyone was wearing a mask :)

Speakeasy is an American restaurant that offers a variety of small plates, craft beer, and local wines in a charming and rustic setting. The atmosphere is both old-world and airy, with superb decoration creating a nice and interesting ambience. The service is great, with friendly staff who have an awesome interaction and maintain a wonderful rapport with all the customers.
While visiting Sonoma and Napa for wine country we decided to stay in Petaluma. We stumbled up one this unique restaurant bar since it was open late on a Sunday night. and we were in mood for good food. The service was excellent and it was a nice cozy homey local feel. We all ordered the salmon and brussel sprouts. We also had the lobster mac (not imaged) which was delicious ! Definitely recc. There is also a little bar adjacent across the courtyard. that has live music. Will definitely choose to visit again on our next trip but during the day. The patio was so cute to enjoy sunny weather and good food.

Awesome interaction. Friendly & great repo with all the customers. The cauliflower was 10/10. Steak 7/10. Clam chowder soup 8/10. Creamy Chicken Pesto Pasta 8/10, a little too heavy & creamy. Arnold Palmer drink just right 👍🏼. Kale Caesar Salad with fried battered chicken was 7/10. Nice interesting ambience. Decoration is superb. Wine was pretty good too. Dessert, Vanilla Ice Cream, almond slices, fudge & caramel was good too.

Word on the street’s there’s a slick n cozy spot in downtown Petaluma CA. Open late. One of the best lunches this experienced nightcrawling seahag ever put down the gullet. Not a big space for shenanigans tho. The spot’s for OGs & Real Ones only. Welcoming to most but this vessel requires respect and patience so the beautiful, intricateCali simple, work may proceed. Please enjoy some time with our special endeavor. But y’all did NOT hear it from me. 🏴‍☠️❤️‍🔥🏴‍☠️

It was a Sunday, June 8th, so they had live music downtown. What a treat! I sat inside watching everything lol everyone seemed to be having a great time either dancing, visiting with each other, watching the band and or eating. Food was ON POINT! I had steak that was juicy good flavor, mashed potatoes, and the sauce on potatoes was yummm I'm not usually a brown sauce fan but it was quite tasty. Service was relaxed in a good way, very nice, helpful, answered any questions and offered suggestions. For Dessert I had the vanilla ice cream with chocolate and nuts that hit the spot, perfection. Can't wait to go back thank you for a great experience.

I liked it. Among all Sonoma and Marin countries places this one stands out as a very warm and unpretentious, very Petalumian in its homie ambience. It is all about people who work there. Our waiter was very attentive and pleasant so food seemed to be even tastier. The charming place located in downtown Petaluma where people can sit and listen to the street musicians, kids can play and you can sit and watch the life while enjoying your meal and wine. It’s really lovely!

I got into Petaluma after 9 and needed something to eat after working and traveling all day. Speakeasy was the only business in the downtown area still serving food. This turned out to be a nice surprise. The patio area was pleasant with plants hanging all around. There seemed to be a popular bar area as well inside. For me it was just the type of meal and quiet I needed that evening. I had a green salad and the pesto chicken pasta. It was made with fresh pesto and seasoned just right. The chicken was a nice addition giving just a little more flavor to the pasta dish. I will definitely come back if I am here in Petaluma again.

I know a frozen Costco hamburger patty when I taste one. Not only not a "half pound" even before being cooked unless it was 70/30 ground beef, but just all around mediocre.

Staying in Rohnert Park for the weekend and trying to find a place to eat with a kid in tow at 10pm on a Saturday night, proved to very challenging. Luckily, I found this place. Decor is super cute. We dined inside bc it was a bit chilly. Ordered the salmon. Came with Brussel sprouts with bacon. So good. Washed it down with a grapefruit Paloma. A little too strong for me but the waiter watered it down with a bit of lemonade. Thank you for staying open "late" 😉 will definitely be back!

Sports bar
Buffalo Wild Wings is the ultimate destination for sports enthusiasts and food lovers alike. This lively chain specializes in serving up mouthwatering wings, tenders, and burgers, all complemented by a diverse range of sauces that cater to every palate—from sweet to fiery hot. Their award-winning Buffalo-style wings are a must-try, featuring juicy all-white chicken that's lightly breaded for that perfect crispy texture. Plus, with every order of wings comes complimentary dip and fresh veggies!
Went to Buffalo Wild Wings to eat and watch some sports with my lady. The food and service was excellent. I got the Bone-In Wings (Buffalo Blue Sauce) & Boneless Wings (BBQ Ranch Sauce) Combo w/Wedge Potatoes, Coleslaw and Stella Artois & Spiked Cherry Limade. My girl got Boneless Wings (BBQ Ranch Sauce & Teriyaki Sauce) w/Wedge Potatoes and Blue Watermelon Cooler & Lariat Lodge. Taylor our server was great. She was on top of her game. 🦬

A good spot to watch a sports game. There was plenty of large televisions to look at. The wings were good and seasoned very well. We got our food quickly and it tasted great. Would recommend to someone wanting to have good food and a view of the game.

No wonder this place has a low rating. I gave it chance and I see why. Service sucks, literally no employees in the front when I went to pick up an order tonight. When she came to the front, I asked for my pick up and she just pointed and went back to the back laughing. I'm not from around here but treating outsiders is very disrespectful. If you don't like your job work somewhere else. Came back to my hotel room and opened the bag, the chicken looked like it was reheated or recooked and just tossed in some sauce. It was hard to bite and it was really dry and there was more bone than meat. You guys gotta do better...definitely not coming back here. I had to throw out my kids food and get them McDonald's because it was not edible.

Accommodating After the lunch rush I asked to do the Blazin' Challenge and they sprang into action. Tables and floors were clean, staff was attentive and friendly. Food came out hot after a reasonable about of time.

I got some old fashioned buffalo wings. They wete pretty good. Wing stop is better but still decent. The girl that finally helped me was very nice and attentive, but there were 3 different employees before her that walked up, 2 of them ignored me while looking directly at them, and the 3rd looked at me and rolled her eyes. Seems to be typical of service workers these days. Respect, decency, and not to mention a little pride in whatever it is you do for a living, have gone by the wayside. Overall it's kind of a sports oriented Applebee's... meh

I placed an online order at the Petaluma, CA Buffalo Wild Wings on Monday, September 29, for a 6:40 PM pickup. I arrived at 6:36 PM to find the restaurant relatively quiet, with only a few tables occupied and plenty of staff on duty. However, the host stand and takeout counter were unattended almost the entire time I was there. No one assisted me until several minutes after I arrived, and after that, the stand remained unstaffed until the manager and another worker finally appeared at the very end to finalize my order. When I inquired about my order being ready on time, I was met with attitude, and multiple staff members ignored or dismissed my requests for help. I ultimately had to go to the bar myself to get the manager involved. My order was finally completed at 7:01 PM, over 20 minutes past the scheduled pickup time. The manager offered a $10 gift card for this poor experience, which I felt was inadequate and declined. This level of service was extremely disappointing, and unfortunately, online reviews suggest my experience is not unique at this location. I have sent a detailed email about this incident to Buffalo Wild Wings corporate, the brand president, and the CEO of Inspire Brands, as I hope the company will take meaningful action to address the ongoing issues here. Update: After posting this review and contacting corporate, I received a personal call from James, Director of Operations for Buffalo Wild Wings’ western region. He could not have been kinder or more professional. James took full accountability, offered me a refund and a coupon, and was clearly committed to making sure the brand takes care of its customers. I really appreciated his outreach and the way he made things right.

Arrived and waited 45 mins to be seated or greeted by employee. Once seated I placed order right away since it took long to be seated. Literally took almost 2 hours to receive food. Of course we were upset but we had just arrived to feed kids after leaving pumpkin patch. As we were getting ready to tell waitress to 86 all food because of how long it took a different employee had came out with the food. We ended up needing to ask for boxes and had to take everything to go. They weren’t busy, it was our table and 4 others only. I’m not sure if it was the waitress staff or the kitchen. But this day just wasn’t in their favor. Honestly the worst restaurants I have been too in so long.
Rosanne — Google review
Horrible service, this is the third time over the last two years that I’ve come in to eat. Every time they take for ever to seat, then take forever to take your order and even longer to bring drinks from the bar. Forget about getting a second drink! The most profitable menu item is alcohol and those guys are horrible at delivering it (like on average 15 minutes to get a drink).

Izakaya restaurant
Sake 107 is a Japanese restaurant located in downtown Petaluma, offering awe-inspiring sushi and izakaya dishes. Chef Eiji Ando, formerly of Hana Japanese, showcases his dedication to the craft through his expertly shaped seasoned rice and fish creations. The restaurant also features a broader menu beyond sushi, with savory dishes prepared excellently by Chef Ando and sweet creations by the dessert expert.
Had an amazing dinner, the Sushi’s were excellent, melting and really enjoyed the flavors and surprisingly very fulfilling. My fav was - Melts in your mouth, must try i would say and i wish to try Uni for the next time.

Very delicious sushi and very stylish place! Prices are definitely on a premium side, but overall experience deserves this. The only thing that disappointed a little bit was our waiter’s incompetence in regard to the menu and its ingredients — managers should do a better job in training their staff prior to allowing them to work directly with customers.
Igor P — Google review
Not terrible, but easily the most overrated sushi place in Petaluma. Absolutely unjustified for the price point. The service is the one glowing point I can give here. Staff is very friendly, helpful, and attentive. The chefs are also friendly. Unfortunately, the sushi is both not as good as O Sushi on N McDowell and also significantly more expensive at over $30 a person. If I’m going for inauthentic American-style sushi, there are better options especially at the price point; if I want authentic sushi, this wouldn’t be the place to go. Additionally, the building is set up such that every conversation echoes across the entire room. The room was deafeningly loud at times to the degree that I couldn’t hear my family talk. This makes it extremely uncomfortable to hold any conversation, as you’re essentially competing with every other customer to even be heard by the person sitting across from you. Not terrible, but not a great place for a sit-down meal and also not as good as other options that are cheaper.

My favorite sushi restaurant is temporarily closed, so we went to Sake 107. I would say we have a new favorite. Incredible. The service was great. The sushi chef was amazing and even came out from behind the counter to hold the door for us when we were leaving. The seafood salad was killer! The nigiri was amazing. The rolls were awesome too. They took good care of my child with Celiac.

Sooooo good! The sushi/sashimi/nigiri is fantastic and so fresh. Tonight we had Buta No Kusi Yaki, Kushi Katsu, Sake 107 roll, asparagus salmon roll, hamachi toro nigiri, tako sashimi, Saba sashimi, aburi hotate nigiri and Kani. For dessert (it was my son's bday) we had both cheesecake and panna cotta. They were so sweet and have us a tiramisu as an extra. They were all beyond delicious! The staff are excellent and thoughtful. We did have to wait a little as they were busy, but we didn't mind as the quality was outstanding and the staff attentive and sweet. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable. Truly wonderful!

In this cute little area with some street parking. Very friendly staff, for sat down fairly quickly but it did take some time to get service and to put in our orders. It does take some time for the food to come out but the staff is incredibly friendly and constantly checks in with you. We ordered the Tuna Lily, San Rafael Roll, the Grilled Squid, Nigiri Sake Toro - Salmon Belly, and the Nigiri Ikura - Salmon Roe. The Tuna lily was good but just a little too salty for me. Everything else was delicious. I loved the San Rafael Roll but the Grilled Squid and salmon Roe was my favorite. A little pricy but food was great and service was great otherwise. I would definitely recommend! The Blueberry panacotta that we got for dessert was also very good and a nice finish to the dinner.

Best Japanese in Sonoma County - extremely delicious and high quality dine-in and takeout. We’ve been visiting Sake 107 for the last 5 years and the service and quality here are both unmatched in the area! Highlights are the Sashimi sampler, Melt in Your Mouth roll, and the eggplant. Highly recommend this spot, it never disappoints.

The staffs and chef are extremely friendly. I would say it almost only can see in Japan. It's definitely showing Japanese culture. Be honest, my personal Don't like 107 special roll. The rice is so sticky. Miso soup has with various vegetables but It is not very impressive.

Azari Vineyards & Winery is a hidden gem nestled in the scenic Petaluma Gap appellation. The 35-acre farm, run by Parichehr and Kamal Azari, offers a unique cross-cultural experience with Persian influences evident in their winemaking approach and hospitality. Visitors are required to make appointments to explore the estate, where they can indulge in the delicate Pinot Noir and other estate wines while surrounded by blossoming plum and quince trees.
What a wonderful place! We stayed in their AirBnB and got to explore the premises and had wine tasting at the winery. Hosts are incredibly nice and hospitable. Winery is beautiful with gorgeous views and delicious wine. Cyrus made us pizza from scratch in brick oven. Everything is clean and they are following COVID guidelines carefully. At this point you have to make an appointment in advance. We are hoping to come back soon and bring friends. Definitely recommend adding this place to your exploration of wine country.

Loved Azari Vineyards!! The wines were terrific. I loved the rose and my husband loved the Pinot Noir. The Shiraz was also lovely. Maritza was terrific and lead us through the tasting and we loved our conversations. She was so nice and since we were the first ones of the day she was even nice enough to take our photograph a few spots. The vineyard grounds were gorgeous!!! We will definitely come back when we are in Nor Cal and I’m hoping they will have some branded coasters and glasses for purchase 😉 Oh! And I can’t forget their vineyard dog Sky!! She was the first to greet us and she is so well behaved and even came over and took a picture with us!

This is an amazing winery to visit! High quality wine and great people in a beautiful location with rolling hills all around. Plus they have fresh brick oven pizza with the tasting on the weekends! We joined their club after our first visit and will probably be members for life. Cyrus and Kaveh are extremely kind - they even got us a separate pizza cutter for our vegetarian pizza during a busy tasting day. This is a very personalized, friendly environment with good food, wine, and views. Always a good day to visit our friends at Azari :)

Amazing wine and amazing time today!!! We attended a private party there today. The weather was fantastic. Friendly staff and romantic setting. This winery is very close to San Francisco. We did not have to deal with the usual heavy traffic of Napa valley during weekend

I love, love, LOVE a day at Azari! Lovely hosts, great wine, delicious wood fired pizza, and stunning scenery. I love that they have Airbnb rooms now, adorable, and yup, I would stay there a week and explore the rest of Petaluma! But so far, I've never made it past Azari - why go anywhere else? Love it!
Traci V — Google review
My friend and I went here over the weekend for a tasting and it wasn’t completely how we expected. The woman pouring for us was great and the wine wasn’t too bad. However it was incredibly confusing to find the winery! We’re both local to Petaluma too but there was zero signs that we saw saying Azari Vineyards to let us know where we were. And then there’s supposedly a daily code you need to enter the gate? But no one told us that in advance and we never would’ve received it if I didn’t call saying we were lost. It definitely should be posted online or in your booking confirmation that there’s a residential iron gate you have to go through with a daily code and to call etc. otherwise how do you know?! The experience to just find the winery definitely put a little damper on our tasting, otherwise it’s a beautiful spot and decent wine
Ally S — Google review
The grounds and wine buildings are stunning, the wines are good, and the descriptions given by the staff were very informative. I especially enjoyed the Shiraz and it’s history. I also appreciated the relaxed atmosphere (vs Napa mania). That said, this winery has so much more potential. 1. The Petaluma Gap is blustery and several umbrellas, including ours, launched through the air during our tasting. This is a liability. Purchase rectangular sun coverings and ditch the umbrellas. 2. Our table was unstable. 3. The meat/cheese board was delicious, but we were not given any description of what was on it. This is also an opportunity to sell the products served. 4. The website mentioned wood fired pizzas and we were looking forward to that, but none were being served. 5. While I appreciate not being rushed, our empty glasses sat quite a while with no attention between pours. 5. Signage is poor. Our driver deposited us at the first building, but that is the owner’s home (Sorry for the knock!) We walked to the next building, but that is where wine production happens. Finally we came to the tasting area. All should be signed. Again, this is a lovely winery I am happy to have visited. With a few improvements, it could be exceptional.

Stopped in to have an appetizer before dinner and had to leave because our son was 15.. no where said it was a “bar only” 21+. Which is fine, but we wouldn’t had gone through the trouble of getting there (30 min away), if we knew under 21 wasn’t allowed. I might have given them 5 stars if we tried anything- but we didn’t. Review of what we did see- nice hometown feel of an old Irish pub, small dance floor, jukebox, “bar food” type menu (jalapeño poppers, fries, fried mushrooms, potato skins, etc). Probably a great place to get a beer or whiskey!

Ernie's Tin Bar is a unique roadside watering hole located in an old barn or car garage with a strict no-phone policy. If caught using your cellphone, you might end up buying a round of drinks. The bar has expanded to include a covered patio with scenic views, attracting more patrons. It's a family-owned establishment with generations of history and features local beers, memorabilia on the walls, and occasional live music events.
This is my second time visiting here and it is still as I remembered it. A bar that is built on the side of an old garage with porta potties for bathrooms. Don’t let that deter you though, this place has a lot of personality and a fantastic selection of draft beers. They have music on occasion and this is the 100 year anniversary for them this year. Drop by and have some fun in a unique setting.

If you haven't been to tin bar, stop in at least once in your life. In the No-man's-land between Novato, sonoma, and petaluma is a very interesting bar. At the intersection of Lakeville road and hwy 12, is a popular, quaint spot with friendly staff and lively patrons. There is probably room for only 15 or so people to sit at the bar and there's not a whole lot of interior space past that. But man I love landing a stool on a wet winter day next to the fire place and grabbing a can of Olympia for 2 bucks. It's a day bar, closes at 8pm so don't expect to make it a late one, but if you wanna let traffic die down its ideally located. Great spot.

What a great little roadside watering hole! No talking on your cell phone!( it’s a really good rule this bar has)My wife and I stopped in to stretch our legs and get a quick drink. We ended up staying for over an hour talking with the bartenders. They have a wide variety of local beers. This roadside bar and service station has been in the family for several generations. There’s lots of memorabilia on the walls. They also regularly have tiny concerts inside the bar. People from all over the world come play in the corner of the small bar. They have posters of all the people who are played. There’s no air-conditioning but the ceiling fans keep you very cool A hot day. The beer is also cold so that helps. They have a great rule. No talking on your cell phone or you have to buy the whole bar around. If you’re passing by and the traffic is slow I highly suggest you stop in and get a drink and watch the slow traffic pass by.

A true classic/unique Americana roadhouse, Ernie's may have the best beer menu in the Bay Area. Great live music at the end of the bar and an absolutely killer staff that were super welcoming! Restaurant
Twin Oaks Roadhouse, located in Penngrove just a couple of miles from Petaluma, has a rich history dating back to 1924. Under the ownership of Dean Biersch, this veteran roadhouse offers an Old West ambiance and serves homestyle American classics. It's a popular spot for live music, cold beer, and delicious food. The menu is highly praised, with particular attention given to accommodating special dietary needs.
We stopped here randomly to grab a bite to eat on a drive through the area. The parking lot was packed, which we took as a good sign. Inside you'll just order at the bar and seat yourself. Lots of seating outside, so if it looks crowded, head out back. Food arrived in good time, but what amazed us was the French fries. A simple thing done very, very well. Honestly, the best fresh fries we've had at a restaurant like this. Cooked to perfection. Bartender was cool and the locals sitting at the bar were friendly. A great little stop.

Pretty typical of the service you get nowadays. Walked in asked if i was supposed to seat myself. Sat down was giving a menu and that was pretty much it. You know when your senses go off "Hey I've been sitting a little bit" go off well it went off only for it to be confirmed by the gelteman who had to interrupt the bartender/waitresses conversation by voicing his order "can I get two tacos". I still gave it some time only to look up from my phone to see her engaged in changing the channel on the TV. I walked out. Not a good way to sale 20 burgers

Stopped in with my father inlaw for a beer after doing some outdoor work. We didn't get food, but it sure looked tasty! Just enough cool memories and stuff on the walls to make this place feel like youve been coming there for years, even if it's you're first time. Apparently the bar is like ~90 years old, and you can feel every year - every awesome, memory filled year of drinks and good times. Cheers to the Twin Oaks 🍻

Nice relaxed atmosphere with great service. Their patio is comfortable and they have huge umbrellas to block the sun Ray's. Menu is well priced. We had fried chicken sliders with potatoes. Yanni's sausage and glazed onions. And two 16 ounce Laugantias to wash down all the food. Oh, Happy Hour is 4-6p.m. M-F.

Nice selection of craft brews in a very cool and historic old building. Very friendly bar staff and good music! We didn't try the food.

On a Friday Afternoon, expect this place to be popping with people listening to live music on their outdoor patio. My friend and I chose to sat inside so we could chat and catch up, in some booths they have. We were greeted after happy hour ended (its like 2-6? Mon-Fri) and so our meh small bites where full price. I think I'd be back for happy hour with my friends in the future, but not for regular price for overcooked and bland food.

This cute country bar is great place to hang out after work! The pork tacos are very good, and the chicken tacos are nice too. Tried a lemon drop here, best one yet.

Stellina Pronto is a coffee roaster that specializes in high-quality, fresh-roasted beans. Their beans are available in both whole bean and ground form, and they also offer a variety of unique brewing methods, such as pour over and cold brew.
I don't live in the Bay Area anymore, but when I'm in the area in Petaluma I always make a stop at Stellina. Their baked goods are SO good and never disappoint. Their savory and sweet assortment of puffs are all great it's hard to choose. They have some premade salads you can pick up as well and little packaged Italian goodies that make for great gifts or pantry staples. I always love their focaccia. It's more of a pizza on focaccia and a perfect snack to share or meal on the go. The texture of the focaccia is so crispy on the outer edge and airy and chewy on the side. Pure perfection. The space is small inside and can get crowded but there's plenty of seating outside. The team is always welcoming and pleasant and super efficient. Plus for having Linea beans, my favorite coffee roasting co. Can't wait to return.

Anytime I'm in Petaluma, I have to make a stop at Stellina Pronto. It is such a cute, neighborhood bakery that serves beautiful and delicious pastries, salads, sandwiches, and pizzas. It's hard for me to get out of there without committing to a days worth of calories in one sitting, but somehow I manage... It's a tight fit, so you can expect to stand in line in a cramped space for a bit before ordering, but it gives you plenty of time to peruse their gorgeous creations and make up your mind before reaching the counter. I especially love the pistachio cream puff and can't say no to it whenever it's available. It has crunchy pistachio on top and an insane custardy filling that is unreal. They also have a variety of savory pastries that I try to kid myself and say I can eat in addition to my sweets because it's not sugary, but, yeah... My tastebuds are always happy no matter what!

Stellina Pronto is a slice of heaven! Offerings of delicious sweet and savory goodness. A variety from assorted pastries, cookies, cakes, frittata, sandwiches and more. Today I placed 5 orders to share with friends. Visited numerous times, the only downside I wish we had Stellina Pronto in Walnut Creek!

My friends and I stopped by this café while driving through and decided to get a coffee — we ordered a matcha and a nougat. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. We were overcharged by $7.14, and when I approached the barista, he supposedly rechecked the receipt, but the feeling of being overcharged still stayed. The matcha tasted watered down and not good at all, though the cappuccino was actually great. It’s really unpleasant to have this kind of experience in the heart of such a beautiful city. I hope the management pays more attention to the quality of drinks and honest service.

Genuinely honest review: I’ve been in Sonoma my entire life. I stumbled upon this spot because I’m a sweet tooth always looking for new treats to try and never knew of this place. I was so excited when I first walked in, all the pastries looked amazing. Until… I saw a bunch of culprits flying around on the pastries (flies). My husband wanted to tell the young lady, up front about it (He said it in a kind manner) “hi, I don’t know if you guys know this but you guys have a bunch of flies on your pastries” the lady stared back and said “okay, well we can’t do nothing about it they are everywhere, so Thanks!” After that we were both rubbed the wrong way (I did not like how vague, and sarcastic her comment was towards my husband), but still I proceeded to try the pastries to still give it a chance even though her service bummed me. I grabbed 3 cream puffs; pistachio, raspberry, and chocolate plus an almond raspberry slice followed along with a passion fruit cheesecake. I’ll admit they were tasty, but I couldn’t stop thinking about the service, the flies and the prices. For being a bakery that sells well and looks high end. I expect better about the fly problem. To most “it’s just flies, whatever” I really recommend for you to research how much bacteria these things carry, because flies love to spend their time on waste, trash and other disgusting things. The longer they sit on food, the higher chances your food can be contaminated. Customer service isn’t easy I get it, but there is a much better way she could have answered. For example; “oh yes thank you for bringing that to our attention, you know unfortunately we can’t do anything about the problem at the moment but I’ll tell my manager about your concerns, sorry about that” or “you know what, we have been trying to figure out a solution to stop them from getting on the pastries because it’s so annoying, but they keep finding their way in here.” Unfortunately I won’t return back here. But there are several other bakeries that are just as tasty in town and in Sonoma. (Don’t have a pic of the flies on the pastries but just walk in the shop and see for yourself) Thank you for reading my review.

Brought the family for coffee as the reviews were high and we were waiting for the doors to open at Mystic. The coffees were delicious and the service from the barista, Katrina, was exemplary and kind. She was very kind with my dad who made a mistake ordering and that was well appreciated as he sometimes makes mistakes like that due to health reasons. 5 stars easy, and the pastries look divine.

Achadinha Cheese Company offers a farm tour and cheesemaking class for those interested in experiencing authentic ranch life and tasting delicious cheese. The farm tour provides insight into the cheese-making process and allows visitors to see the goats that supplement their diet with brewers grain from local breweries. The cheesemaking class offers a hands-on experience in crafting cheese. Visitors can sample a variety of cheeses, including Cowpricious, Portuguese Broncha, and kefir.
This was one of the best tours I've had in my life. And I rarely enjoy organized tours in general. We had a work event organized for our team that I was hesitating about going to. But I'm happy I went. The tour is lead by the owner of the farm and it's fascinating to see how a relatively small operation functions. They love their animals and take great care of them. The amount of information I learned was days worth of processing afterwards. The tour ended with a lovely chat over a glass (or two) of wine and some cheese. A terrific experience. Highly recommended.

We just bought the broncha cheese from the Fairfax farmers market tonight and put it on our spaghetti and it was DELICIOUS! So much flavor and freshness added to our dinner from this cheese, we’re so happy we found your company! Definitely will be returning to get more!

This is a great family owned creamery that makes a variety of cow milk cheese, kefir, and butter. They offer tours at 11AM on Saturdays for only $40 per person. This is well worth it as it is lead by the head cheesemaker. You hear the story behind the brand, get to tour the cheesemaking facility, visit the various animals, and finally taste some cheese. It is a very informative tour, but may be a little long for young children. Since you are buying cheese directly from the farm you also get a discount. If you are in the area you should definitely book a tour.
Nicolas D — Google review
Attended one of the cheese making classes yesterday and loved her property and the cute animals... but we didn't make cheese and didn't learn much about cheese. She gave us milk curds to take home and gave us a tour of the property, which was very informational, but it wasn't a "cheese- making class".
Mari V — Google review
Amazing experience. The tour and host were very informative. It is good to know where your food is coming from, how the animals are treated, what they eat, how the process works. If you are not vegan and only vegetarian, it’s informative and reassuring. The cheeses are the best! Greek feta to perfection, kefir, yellow and white cheese, yum. The life of the farmers is so hard. From now on, I know where I will be getting my cheese and hopefully also my eggs! Highly recommend the tour!!!

Had a tour with my family. This place is a Working ranch. We arrived very early. No problem. Restroom available and a place to sit. Got a chance to pet the dogs and some goats nearby. Great tour by Donna. Lots of info on the cheese making process and farm living along with seeing some of their other animals. Excellent cheeses to taste and purchase after tour. Highly recommend!
Daniel M — Google review
This was an incredible farm! Family run, small, but full of life and Donna knew so much information! I am a person who knew nothing about farming or making cheese but Donna was a perfect guide helping me understand step by step how her farm functions and what processes her and her family ( animals and humans) go through in order to create the best cheese possible! This was most definitely a worth while trip and I would recommend the tour to anyone who is interested or just wants to know more about cheese!

What a great time my daughter and i had there. We loved it! Very informative and a great family business! Loved the baby cows and pigs! Great tasting at the end of tour. Went home with yogurt and cheese and curds. Thank you again for sharing your farm business with the public; otherwise we would never be able to experience anything like this. Thank you Donna, you were wonderful!

If you're looking for a unique shopping experience, Boho Bungalow is the place to be! Nestled on Kentucky Street, this charming shop specializes in delightful candles and an array of beautiful home goods that are perfect for gifting. I recently attended their candle-making class, which was an absolute blast! The process of rescheduling was seamless—no need to call; everything could be done online with ease. Plus, you can bring your own snacks and drinks to enjoy while crafting your very own soy candles.
We had a great time at the candle making class they offer! I have first booked this class a few weeks ago but due to unforseen circumstances, I've had to reschedule 3 times. The amazing thing about it is we didn't have to call them and hope for someone to let us switch our date, we were able to easily sull do it online with no hassle at all. I even rescheduled the most recent time about an hour before the class started because the traffic was terrible and we were able to turn around and try s new day. So when we walked into the store, the cube was very welcoming and laid back. I didn't realize how much they sell on the non candle side of the store. Lots of fun niche items. Mugs, T-shirts, peanut brittle... So much more. Now, on to the candle making class. They allow you to bring your own bottle and snacks which we did. Jen was our instructor and we were her only students. It was pretty cool because it was almost as if I bought the studio out for our date! Jen was friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. First we put on our super cool aprons. Then we selected the scents (or flavors as I like to call them) for our candles. She poured them in a beaker for us and added the hot wax to the candle jars we selected after we put the wick in. It took a couple hours for the wax to harden in the freezer so we went and ran errands. We really enjoyed our time in the class and would highly recommend it. Since we were the only ones, the class only took about 30 minutes.

Boho Bungalow is a great gift and soy candle shop. There are so many great items on display that will make loved one’s special day even more special. My husband surprised me with a candle making workshop / class. The website says that you are welcome to bring your own snacks and drinks to enhance the candle fun. Hot wax and small vittles are a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon! Jenn our fearless soy candle leader was informative and fun. I appreciate her authenticity and real connection that she made with us. It was nice to meet someone who was able to be themself. Refreshing. The entire class was an intimate group of five total. Jenn took her time with us and made sure that we were happy with the scents we chose for our candles. The class spends a bit of time talking about scents and how to layer them. Did I learn how to make candles on my own? No. It was more of an introduction to the world of candle making. Give it a try and dip your wick into it. FYI: You get a 15% store wide discount on the day of the workshop. Scents open up more fully in your candle after a few days. One Disappointment: We checked Google and Yelp for their hours and thought we could make it before they closed. We raced over for our candles after work. Google & Yelp HAVE MISINFORMATION about HOURS. We tried to call…no answer. Hours are not posted on their door. So check their website for their hours.

In a world where so much is done electronically, it was so wonderful and refreshing to be able to make a phone call and get outstanding service. My fiance and I purchased some diffusers from the store in Maui and absolutely fell in love with the scent. When I called the Petaluma store trying to get candles of the same scent for a pre wedding gift for my hunny, Luna not only was super helpful on the phone, but she was able to get me exactly what I needed to make the most important person in my life extremely happy. Thank you Luna! Thank you Boho Bungalow! I cannot wait for her to enjoy her candles and to continue to order more. So grateful for your service and your products!

My boyfriend and i came into this shop today. I had on an attachment to my blouse that kept coming loose so he asked the woman behind the counter if they sold safety pins. She glared at us, said 'no' and walked away. I've been in the store once before and purchased a small pillow for $65. This store is not reasonably priced for hardly any of its items, it's very niche and the items are unique which is why I went there the first time and enjoyed myself (with a different woman behind the counter.) We took our money elsewhere. I do also wonder if we would’ve been treated as badly if we weren’t black. Petaluma has almost no diversity. For now I will just say this woman was extremely rude and leave it at that.
Alesha C — Google review
We had a great time in the candle making class led by Jen! She is very knowledgeable and facilitates and fun and creative experience. Thank you!
Beatrix B — Google review
We walked around the store, everything was extremely expensive for items that I’ve seen sold else where for cheaper. When we were done looking around the store, not being able to find what we wanted the woman stopped us, asked my friend if she still had the bracelet she was looking at early on. When we told her no she asked us to prove it. My friend had to walk back and show her where she placed it. Very unprofessional behavior, considering it’s an open store and we where not acing suspicious. Ruined our day as my friend felt personality targeted as a Latina.

The wine selection is exceptional and interesting, and Sahar has great knowledge of what she carries and can help you pick the perfect wine for the day or occasion you're having. We had the bacon, gorgonzola and roasted pear pizza and is was wonderful. The best thing about La Dolce Vita though, is the feeling of being among friends. We will certainly return, and are already looking forward to it.

Their Mediterranean Sandwich is particularly outstanding and incredibly pleasing to the palate. The bread used is exceptionally savory and mouthwatering.
The food, selection and seating was all fabulous. I was not expecting all the variety and delicious menu options available. The beverages at Kapu Bar were exceptional, and the ambiance was fantastic. The server provided excellent service, and the cuisine had a delightful flavor. However, the portion sizes were disappointingly small, especially considering the high price of $24 for Poke Nachos that only included six pieces. It would be reasonable to expect a more substantial quantity of food for that amount. The garlic chicken was also delicious but fell short in terms of serving size.
Amazing spot. We were visiting from Chicago (parents live in Petaluma) and came here twice because we had so much fun. We had two different bartenders and two different great times. The cocktails are amazing and the beer selection is great.

We shared the Poke Nachos (delicious), Adobo Fried Rice (amazing), Wok Fried Veggies (delicious) and Gau Gee (dumplings were good, not a fan of the dipping sauce). We enjoyed everything. Our server was so sweet and not once did we feel rushed. Definitely recommend getting a reservation, we came in on a Friday at 5 and by 5:30-6 they were getting really busy. By the time we left around 6:30-6:45 there was a line out the door. The atmosphere is so chill and comfortable. The inside is very cute and gave off the tiki vibe we were looking for. 5 star divebar!!!! Had all the bells and whistles a good one should have. First you got your local regulars heading home after a long day, then you got your sassy blonde bartender who you know drives that hot red roadster parked out front and what dive bar doesn't have abundant pool tables and dart boards. Excellent selection of draught beers. I had Hazy IPA in a frosty jar. But all this was just a preamble to the MEAL. From out of nowhere the viking god of crinkle fries emerged from the dense fog of weed smoke to forge pure burger perfection!!!!!! And the brook burgers and plump boats of ketchup were placed before us. And when I went to compliment the chef for the best damn mushroom swiss burger I've ever had, it was like the light shifted just for him and I could never get a good look at his face. Also, as it was Thursday, there was live Bluegrass and they were awesome.

Good place to play pool, Kareoke and grab a drink with friends. There is a nice covered outdoor area with a fire pit. When I went here on a Kareoke night. I felt like some of the people I met there had been over served alcohol. Some of these people were drunk and made me uncomfortable. I think the owners need to be aware of this issue.

Have you ever had a burger that was so good, that you savored every last bite? Well, come here on a Friday or Saturday night when Ryan is cooking, and order a Brook Burger. This burger has all the "umami" you need to experience what I described above. This unassuming roadhouse destination has one of the tastiest burgers you'll ever enjoy in Sonoma County, hands down!

Pool. Karaoke. Darts. Good selection of beer and spirits. Located just outside the edge of town the menu boasts the best burger IN town. It does not disappoint. The crowd before midnight is more mature. Also a great quality.

I get a Pepsi and E gets a diet Pepsi They serve standard bar food in a clean kitchen by a sweet older lady. We go for karaoke 🎤 some of the singing is great and all of it is good 👍

The mens restroom always seems to smell like piss! If it wasn't for that I'd give the place 5 stars
