Visited 3 times, each was fantastic food and wine, love they support small Vineyards, and serve fresh quality delicious bites alongside the wines. Staff is very friendly. Tight seating quarters, but if you enjoy Italian wines, its the best!

Recently I was part of a group of 9 and Ciro was our gracious host for an 8 wine blind tasting apericena experience in the new tasting room. It was spectacular! The new space is gorgeous, the selection of cheeses were heavenly, my partner and I couldn’t even pick a favorite as all 8 were equally delicious. Ciro was a perfect host, clearly a well trained sommelier; but was able to translate his knowledge into an easy to digest format for less experienced wine enthusiast along with weaving in the stories of the producers. Highly recommend!

This is my favorite wine bar in Florence by far. I will always make the trip. Reserve a day in advance if you want to sit outside or get seats at the bar walk in if they have them. Ask for a recommendation based on what wine notes you like or to pair with your food. I’ve never been disappointed, in fact my mind has always been blown. Friendliest service, wonderful atmosphere. Also, inside has wifi and AC, which was unexpected and so refreshing on a hot day.

If you love great wines and good food, there is one place you have to try in Firenze. This one The best experience is to sit at the bancone and watch the magic unfold. Passionate owners, the crostone are to die for, everything is absolutely perfect.

A hidden gem in Florence! Cozy spot with amazing service and a unique selection of Italian white wines you won’t easily find elsewhere. The crostoni and food were delicious. Staff was super friendly. My friend’s family owns a B&B nearby and always recommended it, now that we tried it, he’ll recommend it even more!

Fantastic find near the Ponte Vecchio. It's quiet enough and away from the crowds. They have an updated wine board with their offerings and a knowledgeable staff to recommend them. The food (we got the Italian meat and cheeses combo) was a great addition. Would love to cross the bridge and enjoy more of it anytime.

We came here to have an afternoon drink and it was a very good choice - a typical italian wone bar, with cheese and charcuterie plates to share. We tried 3 different white wines and the price was quite reasonable! The staff was happy to help us. The italian cheeses we tried were also very good and filled us! Very nice place to go at the end of the afternoon.

We went for opening time at 6pm for some before dinner drinks as we knew we couldn’t reserve. We were first there and of course seated no problem. At this time the service was great! It quickly filled up over the couple of hours we were there. We had cocktails from the menu and asked for some that weren’t on it. All delicious!

If you're in for a cocktail experience, it's the place to go. Awesome service and awesome drinks. The place is really charming. Yes, a little pricey but you won't have the same experience elsewhere.

Atmosphere: 10/10 Located not far from the Duomo, Locale Firenze transports you into a palazzo from the 1200s, balancing medieval architecture with modern elegance. The half open-air concept, soaring ceilings, chandeliers, antique furniture, and plenty of greenery make it one of the most dramatic bar spaces in Florence. Music volume is spot on, the backbar is stunning, and seating is ample both at the counter and for groups. Drinks: 8/10 Recommendation: Kenmoonshine Unfortunately, the menu is digital only—which is not ideal. That said, their digital design is at least creative, with ABV indicators and glassware previews. The selection is solid, featuring interesting ingredients and good balance in flavor. Glassware is above average, coasters aren’t used, garnishes are minimal, and presentation is kept basic. Service: 9/10 Water served on arrival, plus complimentary snacks and even a welcome drink. The team is very friendly, professional, and attentive. Reservations aren’t needed for the bar, and prices are above average for Florence.

⭐ Locale Firenze – 2/5 We paid €380 for 2 adults and 2 children, and honestly, we were disappointed. The food wasn’t bad, but it was nowhere near worth that price. The place is beautiful, with an elegant atmosphere clearly designed for a “jet-set” clientele, but the value for money is completely unreasonable. What surprised us most is that no one seemed shocked to charge such an excessive price, and no one offered a children’s menu. We had to find it ourselves through the drink QR code, and luckily we did — otherwise, we would have paid even more. Also, not every dish was successful: the pigeon and the lamb were quite ordinary and served without sides, and the dessert was average at best. The food was fine, but definitely not for this kind of price. The next day, we dined at a Michelin-starred restaurant, Konnubio, paying only €140 for 4 people — and that was a true gastronomic experience, refined and delicious, far beyond our expectations. Here, despite the high bill, we left still feeling hungry, and to top it off, by the end of the evening the music was turned up so loud that we couldn’t even talk to each other. The purpose of this review is to warn other guests and encourage the restaurant team to reflect, because at these prices, you expect much more quality and care. Avoid these kinds of “tourist traps” — I don’t support such practices, and that’s exactly why I’m writing this review.

An excellent restaurant. The service was perfect and the food wonderful. Our Sommelier recommended the perfect wine. Our one slight gripe was the volume of the music. We are surprised that this restaurant has not received a star from Michelin.

The experience of integrating art and food, the restaurant atmosphere is very good and suitable for a romantic dinner, As for the dishes, except for the lamb shank steak which is relatively lean, the other dishes are all good. the service is good. In addition the restaurant's bar was named one of the World's 50 Best Bars for 2022-2024.

Beautiful bar and great DJ with inventive cocktails and amazing light bites! We stopped by here after dinner and had a great night. We started out with tomato and watermelon cocktails and everything was delicious! Would love to come back! :)

Drinks: 4/10 Recommendation: – The fantasy-themed menu is creative in design and offers a large selection, but drinks don’t deliver. Flavors aren’t well balanced, glassware is below average, garnishes are absent, and presentation is minimal—only select cocktails get any special treatment. No coasters provided. Service: 7/10 Water is served on arrival. The team is friendly, though professionalism and attentiveness are only average. Reservations aren’t required. Prices are below Florence average, which does make it more accessible.

I would call it the Neon Bar!! Hip atmosphere created by the dimmed lighting inside and pop of neon signs. Their menu has a wide selection of cocktails you've probably never seen before. Presentation, taste of drinks and service were Amazing!

Could have been perfect if my negroni with Worcester sauce in it didn’t that have that weird after taste. My friends drink were nice though. Overall the place looks nice with a few quirky things around to make it look special. The toothbrushes in the toilet added that special touch! It wasn’t expensive over all and there is definitely a good list of drinks so I would recommend to go there

Witty Bar. Each drink emanating a film. They make their own tinctures and aperitif. They are awesome! The verde was our favorite and the blueberry. They are available to purchase by the bottle. I loved my cocktails. They also have mezcals 🙌🏼 The vibe is dive- grungy but the service is awesome everyone was so nice and they give you American snacks to go with your drinks. Corn Nuts and tortilla chips with salsa. We went twice.

The staff in this bar is really funny. They were singin along to every song and serving up drinks with a big smile all the time. The cocktails were also very tasty and well balanced. The interior is a bit quirky but that makes it all even more fun. A good place to grab som drinks and have a nice time!

Manifattura showcases Italian spirits with a great concept and an even better show from the bartender. Drinks came with seasoned olives and taralli—a thoughtful touch missing from many other Florence bars. That said, while the house cocktails were tasty, they lacked a real kick. We had to switch to the classics just to taste the liquor. Go for the vibes.

Finding this place was a happy surprise- we were planning to go to another bar around the corner but it was closed so we wandered and found Manifattura. Lucky us! Our server was very kind and patient- we don't speak Italian- and we really loved the cocktails we ordered. The snacks he brought us were just right as well. Quality ingredients and a fun vibe make this bar one to add to your list!

Popped in for a cocktail before a concert and everything was incredible from the warm welcome, to sharing the Wi-Fi and QR code for English before I even sat in the chair, to water and snacks while I surveyed the menu. I recommend sitting at the bar so you can enjoy the cocktail maestro as he prepares your delicious cocktail. I will be back!

Manifattura is such a cool spot in Florence. It’s a dark, moody cocktail bar with great music and a stylish vibe that feels both modern and classic. The menu highlights only Italian-made spirits, which makes it a unique place to discover cocktails you won’t find elsewhere. The staff are fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to make recommendations based on your tastes. They also provide guidance in English, and there’s an English menu online, which makes the experience really easy if you’re visiting. Free WiFi is another nice touch. If you’re looking for a cocktail bar that goes beyond the typical tourist experience and want something authentic, atmospheric, and memorable, Manifattura is absolutely worth a stop.

The vibe is antique and intimate, filled with Rasputin-themed design touches, velvet, and moody lighting. Old jazz and blues play at the right volume, completing the atmosphere. The backbar is beautiful and fitting to the theme. Seating is limited at the bar (just four stools) but there are plenty of group tables. Drinks: 8.5/10 Recommendation: ARP The menu is stylish and well-produced, offering a broad selection of signature cocktails. Flavors are decent and balanced, though not at the very top tier. Unique coasters, above-average glassware, and selective garnishes add refinement, while presentation overall remains straightforward. Service: 8/10 Water is served on arrival. The team is friendly, professional, and attentive. Reservations are recommended given the intimate space. Prices are significantly above Florence average, but in line with its exclusive speakeasy positioning.

Great speakeasy in Florence! Love that it is an unmarked door with a doorbell, with their name small. Makes it more authentic. Cocktails were pricey, but good! For the price, I was hoping for a little more to the drinks, such as maybe a design in the egg white foam, or an edible flower added to the drink. The service was great and the staff were so friendly. They had an extensive whiskey list as well.

The most expensive cocktails you will have but it will be worth it. Service was beyond excellent, the atmosphere was great. Check it out if you are fine for paying a premium for the experience

Super dope speakeasy that genuinely makes you feel like you’re in the 1920s. Need to make reservations if you want to come here. Good music, amazing atmosphere, and top tier cocktails. Some of the things on the menu look interesting but a lot of it comes out great. The rules they have definitely make everyone feel safe and I think that’s the great thing about this place.

The bar is beautifully designed, with an impressive selection of drinks and exceptionally friendly staff. That said, a few things left a negative impression. The Rules: are you serious?! The dress code wasn’t enforced at all—there were tourists in casual wear, shorts, and tank tops. The cocktails are overpriced; making a good one isn’t just about mixing ingredients—it requires balance and finesse. In short, they lack real flavor. As for the music… well, it was barely there. You’d catch snippets now and then, but overall, it felt absent. In summary: The bar stems from a fantastic concept, with well-trained staff. I recommend sticking to a straight drink from their incredible selection—don’t waste your time or money on the cocktails. That said, the idea feels underdeveloped, resulting in an extremely dull atmosphere.

The place is very intimate, it’s not your everyday go to bar but definitely worth a try for a cozy night out! Quite pricey though. Staff were also very friendly and knowledgable on the drinks and able to give good recommendations based on your taste.

Only came for a glass of wine. Randomly stumbled upon it because the wine window place a few doors down was flooded with other tourists taking selfies. Staff were great and the wine selection was exceptional. They let you take your glass of wine outside and chill in the street without a deposit and it’s just a friendly place.

Most amazing place for a good vino. The staff is amazing and very social. We orderd a few rounds of wine and amazing cheese and meat platter. But with that the staff also is giving you a lot of extras to taste. And they really know about taste… A place i always go back to when in Florence. It’s a small place, so sometimes it’s packed. The Ponte Vecchio is more than just a bridge; it's a living legend and a must-see landmark of Florence. On both sides of the bridge, tiny houses cluster together, essentially shops overhanging the river. This creates the atmosphere of a medieval quarter that has miraculously survived to this day. Now, as many centuries ago, the bridge is primarily occupied by jewelry shops. The display cases, adorned with gold and precious stones, glitter even in the shadow of the bridge. Stopping by these display cases is a must, and they add a special touch of luxury to the bridge. The most impressive moments are the views from the gaps between the shops. The walk out onto the central section, overlooking the Arno River and the other Florentine bridges, is absolutely mesmerizing. It's the perfect vantage point to soak up the city. The bridge, which survived World War II (it was the only bridge in the city that remained intact), is steeped in history. A stroll along it is a step back in time, to the era of the Medici, who ordered the Vasari Corridor built over the shops to ensure safe passage between the Palazzo Vecchio and the Palazzo Pitti. The Ponte Vecchio is a must-see. It's beautiful both from afar (especially at sunset) and up close, where you can immerse yourself in its bustling, historic atmosphere.

Ponte Vecchio is such a cool and historic bridge! It’s always busy, but that’s part of the charm. The little shops along the bridge make it fun to explore, and it’s a great spot to take pictures with the river and beautiful Florence in the background. Definitely worth a visit!

Always hard to take on board you’re inside an icon, much like the Eiffel Tower or Statue of Liberty. The Ponte Vecchio is curious, interesting, and over a little too quickly. Really, its iconic nature is best taken in from a distance, to appreciate the gothic overcrowding of buildings onto a bridge, and its famous arches. The view from Piazzella Michelangelo as it lines up with the other bridges, at sunset, in silhouette, is a must-see. Ridiculously busy in summer, you’re best off getting there very early, or maybe appreciating it later on at night. Or a different time of year, Autumn is a good choice.

I am SO glad we waited until tourist season died down a little. There were still many people here, on the Ponte Vecchio and throughout the city, but it was manageable. As usual, Florence is magnificent and the Vecchio summarizes the surrounding beauty with a single effort. Beautiful!

The bridge itself is so charming, and the way the shops curve along it gives it a really unique vibe. Sunset is honestly magical — the light hitting the river makes the whole city glow. Even during the day, the energy is great, with tourists, locals, and street musicians all mixing together. It’s amazing to think this bridge has survived floods, wars, and centuries of change and still looks iconic. Take your time strolling across, peek into the little artisan shops, and look down at the river and rooftops — there’s so much to soak in. Ponte Vecchio isn’t just a way to get across the river — it’s history, art, and life all in one. Definitely a must-see in Florence, and somewhere you’ll want to come back to again.

Tough, huh? I want to rate the bridge, not the shoulder-to-shoulder pilgrimage of humanity crawling across it. I want to see the Basilica. I want to see the art, the monuments, the history that’s supposed to make Florence timeless. But every step is stonewalled by a tsunami of tourists and jewelry shops gleaming like a parody of the Renaissance. I was one of the tourists… The bridge itself? Magnificent. well built, perfectly aged, a testament to true craftsmanship that’s survived floods and centuries. But now it’s burdened by the weight of gold, humanity, and a material driven generation. … maybe its always been…? The Ponte Vecchio deserves five stars. The experience of crossing it? Two, and that’s being generous.

We had an amazing dinner at La Ménagère — everything from start to finish was perfect. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, making us feel truly welcome. The atmosphere is stunning, with a beautifully curated interior that blends elegance and creativity — we especially loved the charming flower shop inside, which added such a unique and romantic touch. It’s the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion, and we left with unforgettable memories. Highly recommended!

Walking into your restaurant was like walking into an enchanted boutique store which served food and drinks and soothed the eyes with the colourful products...the decor was truly exquisite and the high ceilings and archways added so much history to the ambience...The hostess was extremely professional...the Limoncello Gin drink was absolutely fresh!!. Being a vegetarian I enjoyed the sage and asparagus agnolotti...so much flavour!! We also enjoyed the jacket potato and truffle!!The staff was very professional and made our evening memorable ♥️♥️ Thank You🙏🏽

Cute place but I don’t think the food is worth all the hype at all. Local guides were right. Try to get a sit near the piano as it has more natural light coming out of a dome. I had the pancakes with fruits. Make sure you order the syrup on the side coz it’s very sweet. The smoothie was not as tasty I wanted

The restaurant is absolutely stunning—so fancy and beautifully designed, with a great atmosphere that feels high-end but still welcoming. The food was delicious, and I’ll definitely be coming back. It’s not just a place to eat, but also a lovely spot to socialize and gather with friends. You can even buy flowers or candles, or simply enjoy the live piano music, which adds a special touch. We came on a cool September night and sat outside while we enjoyed some cocktail. Cool jazz and r&b soul music. The vibe here is impeccable, from the decor to the music to the energy of the space. We ordered the Royal Garibaldi, and it was fresh, crisp, and so balanced. Definitely a step up from your usual spritz, it’s complex and bright, just like the atmosphere. If you’re in Florence and want to soak in an unforgettable evening with great drinks and even better vibes, this is the place. Can’t recommend it enough.

Enjoyed a fantastic veggie tasting menu dinner here - 5 courses for 80 euros. Enjoyed some bread and homemade butter to begin, with an espresso martini which was delicious. This place was fantastic value for money - each course was tasty and was very full on leaving!

There’s a cover fee of €3 per person, and the caffe is on the pricier side. We were a party of 2. The breakfast was good. My pancakes came covered with melted cheese, which I found to be very different, but I enjoyed them. My husband enjoyed his Eggs Benedict as well. The ambience was great. Tommaso was our waiter and he was good.

I rarely visit the same place twice when travelling — yet in just 2.5 days, we found ourselves at Gilli not once, not twice, but five times! That says it all. We first stopped in for breakfast at the bar and were served by Antonio, who delivered not only delicious coffee but truly outstanding service. Despite the rush of a busy morning, he took the time to chat with us, introduced us to “El Padre,” and even surprised us with a little chocolate treat. His warmth and professionalism made us feel right at home, so we returned that very afternoon for more coffee — and once again, Antonio was just as attentive and friendly. An absolute star! Later that night, we came back for cocktails. Juan Carlos greeted us with the same level of hospitality — engaging conversation, fantastic drink recommendations, and what was genuinely the best Espresso Martini I’ve ever had. Of course, we couldn’t resist returning the next day for breakfast, pastries, and a final coffee before leaving Florence — we kept finding excuses to come back! I cannot recommend Gilli highly enough. Delicious food, fantastic coffee, excellent cocktails — but above all, the exceptional service from the team truly made our experience unforgettable. We will absolutely return the next time we’re in Florence! ✨🍸☕️

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. We were a party of two and everything from start to finish was excellent. The food was delicious, the place was spotless and the service was top-notch. A special shout-out to Noa and Carmelo, who were especially kind and attentive throughout our visit. To top it all off, we were surprised with free sweets at the end, which was a lovely touch. Highly recommended!

Caffe Gilli was on my list before my arrival. I wanted a place with nice view and a bit of Parisian chic and it's the closest to that. I arrived by 9 AM and enjoyed their breakfast. They have good options from eggs to pastry and really good coffee. It was not too crowded and I was lucky to sit near the piazza, it got lore crowded afterwards. The service was nice and pleasant.

Perfect place to stop by. Recommend sitting next to window, so you can feel the atmosphere of piazza and enjoy food and coffee at the same time. Server Alessio welcomed and made us comfortable during stay. He was such a nice person.

This place welcome me like it I was home! Everything about this place was great. The servers, food, wine, coffee, atmosphere and the location make it the perfect place to sit down, relax, take in the view of the Plaza and get lost in the sounds of the city. I met a few great staff that made me feel like family. Santi and tomas were some of them. Very friendly, joyous, fun and kind. I'm here for two weeks and this is definitely a place I will always remember and if I ever get the chance to come back I will for sure return to see my new friends! We had an unforgettable experience at Gilli Firenze dal 1733. The atmosphere is classic and full of Florentine charm, and every dish, from the fresh pastries to the beautifully plated mains, was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. What truly made our visit special was the service from Alessio and Virginia. They were both incredibly kind, attentive, and professional, making us feel genuinely welcome!

Volume in Piazza Santo Spirito is the kind of bar that defines Florence’s cool local scene. We stumbled upon it after dinner and were immediately drawn in by the music and buzzing crowd. Inside, it’s artsy, a little grungy, and very authentic. There’s mismatched furniture, funky art on the walls, and a laid-back staff that makes you feel at home. The cocktail menu is straightforward, with classics and a few creative options – my gin basil smash was fresh and spot on. Prices are very reasonable (€8–€10), and the crowd is mostly locals and art students, which makes for a fun and vibrant atmosphere. The piazza outside is always lively, and it’s a great place to people-watch with a drink in hand. No pretension, no frills – just a genuine, good-vibes bar that feels real. Definitely one of the more unique finds in Florence. If you're tired of fancy spots and just want to chill somewhere that’s full of character, this is your place.

If you are a solo female traveler DO NOT come here. I had a super uncomfortable experience here. I tried to talk to the entirely male staff in English inside the bar by myself and they laughed at me. I tried again to order in Italian and they just refused to take my order. Luckily I was with my boyfriend who was waiting outside but with how uncomfortable and douchey the staff was, we quickly left to no shortage of other kinder bars.

Amazing little bar, came here for an aperitif and it was one of our favourite bars in Italy! Great staff and drinks. The snacks were amazing. Watch out for the pigeons (we named them Peter and Paul) we used a straw to bat them away and after that they left us alone haha!

I’ve been going to Volume almost daily for months, and I can say without hesitation that the staff — especially Mike — are some of the kindest, most professional people I’ve encountered in Florence. This review feels wildly out of character with everything I’ve seen. Volume is a creative, lively space — but it’s also a working venue, not an open piano bar. The staff are there to make sure the experience stays enjoyable for everyone, not just one group. I’ve seen Mike handle situations with patience and respect — including ones that could’ve easily escalated. If you’re looking for warmth, culture, and genuinely good people, this is it. One dramatic review doesn’t reflect the reality of this place.

I’ve never been treated so poorly in an establishment as I was at Volume Florence. I came in with my elderly mother, who loves music, and we politely tried to play a few notes on the piano—something that is typically welcomed in venues like this. However, the bartender, Mike, was shockingly rude. Not only did he abruptly tell us to stop, but he also insulted my mother, speaking to her in a completely disrespectful and demeaning tone. It was humiliating and uncalled for. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable, especially in a city known for its culture and hospitality. If you value kindness, basic decency, or any sense of warmth, I suggest you take your business elsewhere. Volume might have a trendy vibe, but the attitude—especially from staff like Mike—is toxic.

What a find. Located on a popular piazza with great atmosphere. Superb cocktails, free tray of hors d’ouvre and great service. Best to get there early as it’s very popular. Most cocktails are 9€ and excellent. Definitely a bar to include.

Visited at 6:30 PM. While they do not offer a traditional aperitivo, I confirmed with the gentleman at the front that they serve €4.50 economico drinks and 1.50€ crostini. The crostini come in a wide variety of bite-sized options—perfect if you want to create your own DIY-style aperitif experience. Ordering is simple: place your order at the front counter, grab your crostini, and a waiter will bring your drinks to the table. There’s additional seating in the back, where the open doors to the street allow for a lovely breeze and relaxed atmosphere.

Absolutely loved this little bar. It was right down the street from our airbnb and we went there almost every night of our trip for Aperitivo. I had the Hugo Spritz every time and my brother the Campari. The small bites were to-die-for. One evening we weren’t super hungry so we just went here for dinner. In you’re staying in Santo Spirito you must go here!

September 1,2025 .My partner and I went there to kill some time before dinner and get an aperitivo. We both ordered Aperol spritz. This was the worse Aperol I have ever had ( I am italian)!!!!!! It was literally made of a bit of Aperol and just water and ice. Tasteless! . As you can see from the picture and the colour of the drink, it looks very watery. Very bad experience with Aperol spritz here! I told the bartender ( the tall guy with dark beard/hair) and he did not do anything . I had to CLEARLY ask him to add more Aperol in my drink and he also gave me attitude!! Please do not go there ! Not sure how this place got 4,7 review!!!

Unique restaurant with interesting flavors. It was very hard to get a waiter to get a table both inside and outside. Once we snagged a seat inside, it took forever to order. Also, the door would not close, so cold air was constantly blowing on us. The finger sandwiches were delicious and flavors we wouldn't be able to try elsewhere. Wine was good as well. Probably wouldn't recommend unless they were less busy.

Going to the Bitter Bar was a major component of what what decided my itinerary in Florence. I am passionate about bitter cocktails and had heard about this bar's near-legendary status among those who crave a crafted cocktail, novel alcoholic delicacies, and the finer side of drinking. If you want to be catered to by the most masterful bartender, spend your evening relaxing in in a 1920s speakeasy atmosphere, and have the absolute best time, you should come to this bar. I felt safe, I felt special, and we wound up closing out the bar at 2:00 a.m! Please do yourself a favor, it is an absolute delight and a truly extraordinary experience.

Mehran is a very welcoming, professional mixologist - he is a perfectionist and knowledgeable about cocktails. He uses premium liquors for cocktail. If you want something different, some speak-easy vibe, definitely come here and you won’t be disappointed. He will serve you with all the hospitality and give you very different experience.

This place is extremely misleading. It’s such a beautiful and cool spot, BUT the menu is not good at all. The name of the place is bitter bar however there is not one single amaro on the menu. Everything is whiskey and whiskey base cocktails which is certainly not for everyone. Since they didn’t have any Amaro, I figured I would give one of the cocktails a shot. I could not drink it because it was so strong. Even my husband who likes whiskey did not like it whatsoever. It wasn’t a cocktail drink — it was just straight up whiskey with a hint of cherry. The drinks are also extremely expensive costing us €20 each. I hope this place advances their menu because it is very beautiful inside but looks are definitely deceiving.

From the moment we went in we felt like we entered another world not just because of the intricate well crafted cocktails and recommended to each one of us taste perfectly, but the owner and his genuine warmth and care was out of this world (very beautiful to see someone work with their chemistry and art in drinks so beautifully) , its so rare these days to find a place like this rich in experience service and company, i recommend 100000% you wont regret it! One of the best bars I've been to ever - and it's always been my goal to hunt down the best place for dancing in each city we visit. Music was on point, drinks were delicious and reasonably priced, and our bartender Moses was just the nicest bartender we've ever had the pleasure to meet. He was so helpful and cheerful and even gave us a bunch of recs for our trip to Rome. Thanks for such a lovely night!

Be careful if you are a tourist ! We went to buy a drink in the bar and they asked us to pay 12€!! for 1 gin tonic. I don’t even mention that there was nothing inside- like cucumbers/peppers (for this price heh!) When I asked why gin tonic is more expensive than other cocktails (other cocktails were around 8€), the woman bartender with short hair said in a rude way “Because it’s like that!” I was super shocked. But I was even more shocked when I knew that our local friends bought there the same gin tonic for 5 or 6€ … will never come back there again. An Update after the response of the owner: Unfortunately the gin added to our cocktail was far from being a premium gin. Moreover, when I asked why the gin tonic is more expensive than other cocktails, the bartender could’ve said “because we used the premium gin” instead of saying “because it’s like that”. But no, she couldn’t have said it because she put a basic gin and we saw it . We checked the menu yeah and we saw that the cocktails were 8-9€. Cheers to u too.

My first time in Florence and this place added laurels to this city profoundly! Having been to so many Michelin rated restaurants I wasn't as keen after a long journey; still it exceeded my expectations. The service and the atmosphere are good as one would expect in a high end restaurant, not much to add here except I found them to be one of the politest in comparison to my experiences from Europe and the US. I picked the "Gherardesca" Tasting Menu mainly because I wanted to try risotto and pasta from the selections. Every single of the 12 (more additions besides the tasting menu) offerings were sensationally delivered. The Amuse-bouche was probably one of the best. Few dishes that stood out were the risotto (beautifully tangy), the cockerel agnolotti (with truffle and divine al dente pasta) and the Lamb (gorgeous sear on the meat) were exquisite. The desserts were good as well, though I feel adding too many raspberries adds excessive sourness to the dessert which isn't my favourite. I often noticed that most Michelin star places are somehow repetitive with almost identical (french) flavours, but not this one. It stayed true to it's Italian roots and flavours...and that is commendable! Definitely recommend for anyone hoping to get the best of Italian cuisine.

Amazing experience, the food was absolutely spectacular and the attention to detail was outstanding. Simone took care of us and he did a wonderful job, never missed a single detail and made sure we had everything we needed. Dinner at il Palagio located at the Four Seasons Florence by Chef Paolo Lavezzini is a 1 star michelin.. left us so confused between brilliant taste with the amuse bouche, beetroot starter, dessert and unpalatable mains with the sea bass fish - sea bass Wellington!! Referred in the menu as crusted sea bass, we thought just crisp skin 😆😆, lamb, gnocchi.. overall 2/10 and wouldn’t recommend it.

We dined at Il Palagio, the Michelin one starred restaurant located within the Four Seasons Hotel Firenze, to experience their renowned tasting menu. Having been underwhelmed by other Michelin experiences in the past, I approached this meal with cautious optimism. However, Il Palagio exceeded all expectations. The ambiance was both elegant and inviting, reflecting the restaurant's setting in the historic Palazzo della Gherardesca. We also had breakfast at this restaurant while staying at the Four Seasons, which was fantastic, as well. I started with a gin martini with twist. So yummy. We chose the Gherardesca tasting menu, a culinary journey inspired by the hotel's private garden. I won't even begin to talk about how beautiful the garden is. :) The menu featured dishes that showcased the chef's ability to blend traditional Tuscan flavors with innovative techniques. Notably, an appetizer incorporated Kimchi, seamlessly integrating this element into the dish's flavor profile. As a Korean, I found this a nice touch, personally. It was a 6-course meal, but they offered multiple appetizers so it felt like a 9 or 10 course meal. Each course, from the amberjack fish to the lamb, was meticulously prepared and presented, highlighting the freshness and quality of the ingredients. Unlike previous Michelin experiences, every dish here was actually both delicious and satisfying. While we did not opt for the full wine pairing, the sommelier provided excellent recommendations that complemented our meal perfectly. The staff's attentiveness and knowledge further enhanced our dining experience. Il Palagio offered a harmonious blend of tradition and innovation, making it a standout choice for those seeking a memorable dining experience in Florence. The service was so nice. Super attentive, friendly, and proactive. The manager later stopped by to talk to us and offered some chocolates. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to indulge in exceptional cuisine within a historic and refined setting.

The presentation was refined and the venue stunning, also very good service, but the overall taste and execution of the dishes left us puzzled. Some ingredients, like the broad beans, seemed undercooked—possibly intentional, but it didn’t resonate with us.

This was my first Michelin-starred restaurant, and it was a great experience. I tried the tasting menu called Le Spezie della Regina. The meal began with bread, homemade butters, and olive oil. They explained that each month highlights a new veggie and this month was radish. The radish was broken down and each part of seasoned differently. Then the tasting menu began. Each plate was beautifully presented, and I tried so many different things, like vegetable charcoal and cuttlefish. My favorite dish was the pasta - it had such a depth of flavor that it definitely stands out. There was also a small palate cleanser before the dessert which was a radish sorbet. That one small bite was incredible! It might have been my favorite bite of the whole night. The dish that felt like an oversight was the cheese course. While not every dish was my favorite or stands out, flavors were interesting and different and it was a fun food journey to go on. While I expected the service to be of a high standard, it went above and beyond. The staff was helpful and explained each dish and at the same time were not overbearing. The atmosphere in general was really lovely and it was nice that the restaurant was not overpacked.

Well, unfortunately we didn’t get to experience the actual area of the bar as it was undergoing renovations, but it was a lovely site nevertheless! The service was outstanding, and combined with Italian friendly hospitality, chefs kiss. The drinks were delicious although the size of them was a bit smaller than I would’ve liked. Food? We had a salad and a burger, the burger was fantastic but the salad was really nothing special unfortunately. So that takes 4/5 stars in the food department

The worthy first experience at Four Seasons: not only we experience the discrete and efficient service, we also being able to enjoy a nice bottle of white wine (complimentary pickles not so nice) in a beautiful and comfortable seating and finishing with a cup of coffee. The price is high, but is to balance with the luxury. The main luxury of this place is in fact not inside but outside, where we wandering in their large private park with so nice statues and trees. The park has an access for customers of Four Seasons villas.

We were at Atrium Bar for tea and had a wonderful, peaceful experience. The space is elegant and calm, with beautiful design and a serene atmosphere inside the Four Seasons Florence. The tea selection was excellent, served with care and accompanied by delicate pastries. It felt luxurious yet welcoming, with attentive and professional service. It’s an ideal spot to take a quiet break from the busy city. While on the expensive side, the experience, setting, and service make it worthwhile. A refined and relaxing afternoon treat.

We returned to the Four Seasons Florence after staying here last year, and once again it was a truly unforgettable experience. The Atrium Bar has become our favorite spot in the hotel, and this time we chose it to celebrate our daughter’s freshman year at the NYU Florence campus in Villa la Pietra. We were fortunate to be looked after by Leonardo, whose service was outstanding — gentle, funny, professional, and attentive in every detail. He even surprised our daughter with a thoughtful treat to mark this special milestone, which made the evening all the more memorable. The combination of the refined setting, warm hospitality, and Leonardo’s exceptional service made the Atrium Bar the perfect place to celebrate. We cannot recommend it highly enough, and we look forward to returning again soon.

The hotel and grounds are stunning so I figured it would be a lovely location for high tea. In my opinion it wasn’t the greatest high tea as the desserts and sandwiches were average though the scones impressed. I personally didn’t like the berry tea either. The luxe atmosphere however cannot be faulted

Visited in March 2013 - I slipped in at the very tail end of Sunday lunch, a lucky seat on a coffee table in the corner while families lingered over their courses. The room buzzed with three generations sharing the ceremony of weekend dining - a joy to watch as much as to join. I went straight for their signature raviolini with pecorino and pear, a dish flagged in Frommers and Lonely Planet. It was almost perfect: pasta delicate, pear subtle, pecorino seasoning just shy of brilliance (9.5/10). Lamb chops with artichokes and rocket brought good quality meat and crisp coating, though it wanted more seasoning; the artichokes were spot-on (8/10). Dessert was Laura’s recommendation - raspberry cheesecake, creamy yet sharp, crumb with a hint of savoury, a lovely close with espresso (8.5/10). Coquinarius hits that balance of stylish but relaxed, where you can watch the rhythm of Florentine family life unfold around the food.

The pear ravioli was as delicious, and unique. The filletto was the best steak I ate while in Florence, and the seasonal mushrooms were a solid add-on.

I wasn't very impressed by this place, it's definitely very geared towards tourists. It was a recommended restaurant, but I found it to be lacking. The menu was limited the food was mediocre. The food felt very heavy in my stomach even the next day and I did not enjoy it. It seems the owner does not like when people leave honest reviews, even questioning whether people actually ate there or not, but I can assure you that I did eat there and you probably shouldn't.

We came to here for dinner. The atmosphere was great 👍 The swordfish carpaccio, paired with salad greens, fresh fennel, and pink grapefruit, was exquisite — the peppercorns added a delightful burst of flavor with each bite. The main course, Millefoglie di Cecina, a refined tower of codfish layered with chickpeas, spinach, and a velvety purple cabbage purée, proved to be another remarkable surprise The beef tenderloin, paired with foie gras, created a perfect harmony of flavors on the palate

Title: Great wine selection, but disappointing service from our server We visited Enoteca Pitti Gola e Cantina because it was recommended by Wine Spectator, and the wine list truly is impressive — an extensive and well-curated selection of Italian wines. We were two couples and went for some wine and light snacks. When we arrived, there wasn’t a table available for four, so we had to sit separately. Once a table behind our friends became available, we asked to move so we could sit closer together, but our server, Noemi, wasn’t very accommodating and seemed somewhat annoyed by the request. We mentioned that we wanted to share a few dishes and asked about portion sizes, but Normi didn’t explain things clearly and wasn’t very friendly. She insisted the plates weren’t meant for sharing, which turned out not to be true. The wine itself was excellent, and the snacks were good — but the overall service from Noemi felt unfriendly and not very customer-oriented. I’d still recommend the place if you’re interested in trying great Italian wines, but be aware that the service experience may not match the quality of the wine.

I am a sommelier and was recommended to go here but 2 other Sommelier friends that I have back home. Plan ahead for this and make a reservation plenty of time in advance. I was very happy to get the last slot on the last day I was in Florence and I booked 2 weeks ahead. The food was fantastic and the service was great. I got the truffle tasting menu and my mom got an a la cart dish. They were so nice and brought my mom a first bite along with mine so she would have something. The wines were expertly paired with every course and my mom got the Sangiovese flight. The veil was a highlight for me and my mom loved her dish as well. The staff knew a lot about the wines that they were pouring and were able to answer all my mom’s questions. The desserts were INCREDIBLE. My mom got tiramisu and I got a ricotta gelato with an olive oil drizzle. At the end I asked them about a bottle I was on the search for and they wrote down a Enoteca that they thought would carry it. I would 100% return and would recommend it to any wine lover looking for a great dinner in Florence.

After seeing the positive reviews online, we made a reservation on their website and came in during lunchtime to do a wine tasting. The staff was very friendly and so knowledgeable about wine. We had a great time learning about each wine that we were trying. After the wine tasting, we ordered a few things to eat and got recommendations for what wine to have with our food!

As someone who has had the privilege of dining in some of the world’s most celebrated culinary institutions, from Tokyo to Lima. I approached Enoteca Pinchiorri with high expectations. After all, a three-Michelin-starred legacy restaurant nestled in Florence commands a certain level of storytelling, innovation, and emotional resonance. There is no doubt: the service was flawless in precision, down to the smallest gesture. But therein lies part of the conflict, it felt mechanical, rehearsed, and somewhat devoid of warmth or genuine connection. The menu, while technically sophisticated and beautifully presented, lacked a narrative. There was no thread pulling me through a journey, no spark that made me pause in wonder. I kept waiting for that moment, the unexpected element that delights, the clever twist that turns a dish into memory. It came briefly, with a green lasagna accented by lemon mustard, an imaginative and bold pairing that awakened the senses. Unfortunately, that lift arrived too late in the meal to carry the experience. What left a bitter aftertaste, however, was observing the chef greet only a specific table, locals, perhaps regulars, while the rest of us were overlooked. Having dined at Central in Lima, currently ranked the best restaurant in the world, where the chef personally greeted every guest regardless of background, I couldn’t help but notice the contrast. True hospitality is inclusive. At €380 per person, I expected more than just flawless execution. I longed for emotion, for a story, for a moment that lingered long after the meal ended. Instead, I left with admiration for the craft, but without the memory of wonder.

I truly wonder how this restaurant maintains its Michelin 3-star status, because the experience fell far short of expectations. The service was shockingly poor – staff seemed to prioritize locals and regulars, while other guests were treated dismissively. One older staff member with white hair even placed another table’s wine bottle directly in front of me, blocking my view, seemingly because I had not ordered a bottle myself. The way I was treated made me feel unwelcome, and at times I sensed a degree of prejudice in their attitude. The food was another disappointment: overly salty, uninspired, and absolutely not worth the €390 price tag. Overall, I cannot recommend this restaurant. For the same cost, there are far better dining experiences in Europe where guests are treated with respect and food quality matches the price.

Truly bucket list experience. From the moment we stepped to the front door, service was top notch. Alejandro, Andrea, and Alberto did not disappoint. Both vegetarian and expression tasting were exceptional. With the wine pairings. Dessert was very unique in presentation and flavors.

Is the place overrated or the kitchen had an off night? You will be the judge. We made a reservation of 4. They will hold €1500 on your CC for the reservation. I totally understand the concept to prevent any cancellations. The service was excellent and I have nothing but good things to say. They were very attentive and answered all the questions we have. The food was underwhelming in general. At some point I asked if it was just me or everyone thinks that the food was below average? Unfortunately we are all agreed that the food was not that great. My wife had the duck and it was chewy and very underwhelming. The surprise dishes that they offered were surprisingly lacking the flavor. By the time you get to the sweet, you will feel that’s it I don’t want to keep going. I didn’t even try my sweet dish as I lost interest. I didn’t want to even try it.

“Disappointing” is the word I would use to describe Enoteca Pinchiorri. Its three Michelin star designation leaves much to be desired. The food is okay. It’s not bad, but for what you’re paying and the level of notoriety that the restaurant has received, you will leave puzzled. Presentation is very simple and depth of flavors is lacking throughout. I’m also fairly certain that two of my dishes were microwaved as the food and plate arrived scalding hot. The service is not very good and I was specifically disappointed in the sommelier. For a restaurant that touts its wine cellar and refers to its wine list as “the Bible” I was really let down that he was unable to recommend something given my tastes. To top off my poor experience, a large fly was circling the dining room throughout our dinner and I was actually able to catch it in my hand towards the end, marking the sole moment of satisfaction this evening brought me. Bottom line - not up to three Michelin star standards, seek Michelin elsewhere in Florence.

At every stage of the experience was wonderful. Everyone is super nice and accommodating. We had lunch, grilled prawn salad and grilled octopus and it was delicious, filling yet light. The views are phenomenal from here. Must go if you stop by Florence

Truly a five star experience in Firenze (Florence). The ambiance is modern yet unobtrusive to the experience. The staff and service is beyond incredible and the sommelier had a truly in-depth knowledge of the wine cellar. The food was on par with any Michelin rated restaurant that I’ve ever been to.

Amazing views and great service but they really need to improve their mocktails list. A place charging this much for drinks should be able to make good non alcoholic drink. Especially since not drinking alcohol is on the rise. We ordered the spaghetti for €26 which was quite expensive but absolutely delicious. The breads provided were also really good. They only however had 3 non alcoholic drinks so the waitress recommended the wellspring which we ordered. That was honestly one of the grossest things we've ever tasted! We would have loved to go back for dinner but again I can't stress enough how gross that drink was. At €20 for non alcoholic drinks they should all be delicious! We still enjoyed our meal overall since the spaghetti was so good but please improve your mocktails for non drinkers!

Incredible rooftop bar in Florence. We walked in without a reservation, and were immediately seated at the absolute best corner table in the place. You have an amazing view of the river, bridges, and Florence skyline. Service was outstanding, the waitress always came over to check in and refill our wine glasses at just the right time. Drinks are a bit pricey as you would expect, but worth it for the incredible view, service, and ambience

The view from the terrace is superb over Florence, but, on the other hand, the service leaves much to be desired. I ordered 3 cocktails, and in the end, on the bill, they charged me for 4. Luckily, I was inspired to check, and I won't even mention that the order came half an hour after I reminded them of my order, which they had forgotten.

Amazing bistecca and Tuscan ragu (get some Parmesan on it). Wine was great. The custard desert with toast to die for. And our waiter Valentino was super generous and welcoming. The story of the palace is pretty cool too and we were lucky to see the owners. A must on your Florence trip.

Good food, but basic, nothing special. Service poor - we had to wait quite a long time for attention of stuff. At the end we wanted grapa and they didn’t have 11 same glasses for us and wanted to give grappa into wine glasses. Stuff was nice, not arogant, but service poor.

Cantinetta Antinori is a must-visit restaurant every time I’m in Florence. Beautiful both inside and out, with a warm atmosphere, kind and attentive managers and staff, and absolutely wonderful food. And of course, the Antinori wines — simply perfect. A 10 out of 10 experience in every way.

WOW! The wines, the cheeses, the bread, the olive oil, the fig jam! Our local apartment came with a wine tasting @ Cantinetta Antinori! We had very little expectations, and due to travel hiccups we were starving. We went in earlier than our appointed time. Luca was not only to accept us early but, pulled out all the stops! Yes, we left with a bottle of wine, when you taste one of the best ever Chianti, you just want more!!

Sophisticated ambience and great food. Having been in Italy for a while it was a much needed variation from pizza and pasta. Still Italian influenced but with other cultural influences and healthy ingredients. Fantastic.

The special cocktails were underwhelming, an experiment gone wrong. They are more show than go, albeit a very good show. Ambience was decent, food was average. Service was top-shelf, but so was the bill. Definitely will avoid this place in the future.

Underwhelming for sure! Reviews did me dirty. Service was good. Food was ehhh, definitely had more option in the review pictures than the menu. Limited options… very limited. Special drinks were not very special, and the bill was more than I spent on any other restaurant here with less than half the food and half the taste.

Cannot fault the cocktails just a shame it is in quite a cold setting which lacks any real character. Would be much better if the setting was quirky and had a bit more about it rather than being a room within a hotel.

Went clubbing at Red Garter with my friends in Florence and it was truly a one-of-a-kind experience. The place is divided into two sections: a lively dance floor with commercial music and a karaoke bar — which I personally enjoyed the most. The atmosphere was full of energy and great vibes all around. Entrance is €10, but it includes a free drink, which makes it a pretty good deal. Definitely worth checking out if you want a fun night out in Florence!

While visiting Florence, we really wanted to see the Steeler game. We had heard they show the NFL, so we stopped in and asked the manager. When we returned the next day, he had saved us a table and we got to watch our game! Fun atmosphere, with different games going on in different parts of the restaurant. Great hamburgers! The staff couldn't have been nicer. It was a fun experience while traveling! Thank you!

Came here on Taco Tuesday, had the best waiter. Highly recommend coming here Monday’s for trivia night, Tuesday for Tacos and Wednesday and Thursday for Wings and cheesy fries!!! Come here with friends and family and you’ll leave with a fully belly and fun vibes from the food and drinks.

I ate here standing up in the beautiful bar area, and if you do that it’s barely more expensive than any other bar in the city. I went for breakfast and liked it so much I returned for a light lunch! Eat the Italian way: small items, beautifully presented. Capuccino with a silver spoon, tramezzini on soft white bread. Fresh orange juice. A Coca Cola in a thick cut glass tumbler served over ice. The attention to detail was wonderful. Breakfast of a cappuccino, a honey croissant and a fresh juice was €8.10!

We have found this place on our first day in Florence, and kept returning on other days too, it was ideal to take a break😅 the pastries are delicious, and eating them inside, standing near a table are around 3€, eating them outside at the terace doubles the price. The coffee was also good☕️ With ordering drinks, beer and nonalcoholic cocktail, they served us free snacks.

Honestly no idea why this place only has 3.5 starts the tiramisu is delicious, staff patient and helpful, interior beautiful coffee amazing strawberry tart lovely americano portion generous. Cannot say a single bad word. If you don’t feel like a sweet treat you can have a huge portion of fruits which is super sweet. I really like it

When you sit down outside in the Plaza items are expensive. Go inside and the prices are just like everywhere in Florence for coffee and pastries. I enjoyed my overpriced Limoncello spritz and free nibbles taking in the beautiful plaza. Went inside and had the best cannoli in my life. Not too rich, not too sour. The casing was perfect. The rumpope tasting eclair was phenomenal as well. I want to go back before on the way to the train station to have it again. Quick polite service.

Stylish Stop for a Drink with a View We stopped by for drinks rather than food and grabbed a spot in the very comfortable outdoor seating area overlooking the stunning Palazzo Vecchio. It was raining and the place was understandably in high demand, the staff were doing their absolute best to accommodate everyone with patience and professionalism. I had an espresso martini (€16) and a beer (€9.50)—a little steep, and sadly expected for the location. Service was great, and while we didn’t stay long, it was a lovely spot to pause, sip, and soak up the atmosphere of the square.

Great place to have breakfast and aperitivo as well!!! The service was extraordinary, the coffee by David was by far one of the best cappuccinos I’ve had my entire life and the pastries and cocktails were exquisite. Totally recommend this a beautiful spot in the center of Florence.

Poor service. Stale bread. Poor communication. We order a sandwich and we pay for that. When we asked for a table, they told us this price is not for a sitting table. How do I know?! You should ask you want to sit or not!!! It was rude. I don't care spending money. Of course, I came here to have nice time and spending money. When you serving people you should NOT just consider how much money you can earn per person! It's better to consider what kind of experience your customers will have!!

Great little pub with a few tables inside but the majority in the square. This location caters to tourists and spoke English. They served the best Greek Salad that we have had so far. In some ways it almost seemed like it was marinated but it was delicious with olives, fetta, tomatoes, lettuce, with olive oil dressing. The Burger was good. Some of our meals hadn't had a lot of meat and so one of our people needed some protein. The sandwiches were fresh. They have a restroom in the downstairs of the bar for customers, you have to be able to climb stairs to go inside, but they do have a buzzer if a person can't climb and have great setting outdoors under the awnings/tents. The misters help make it comfortable in the July sun.

The first impression is a tourist hotspot, but once you get in, the decoration was a nice twist, similar to other European cities I've been to doing the Irish theme. Order the Guinness as it would be rude not to as not a bad pint, reasonable price of €7. Went on a Tuesday, so I had the wing special well worth the moneyband comes out quick. The only downside is the sauce they use it cold, which makes the wings cool down much quicker. Overall, it's worth a visit.

Do not attend, staff were rude and arrogant. One of them is currently flirting with some girls at the bar, when he should be pouring us the beer we paid for. We ordered a pitcher worth 2.3L of Stella Artois (which supposedly worked out cheaper than 4 ‘pints’) and we recieved no more than 1.8L of beer. We tried to reason with the staff, but they were unfriendly and refused to serve us our beer- IT WAS SIMPLE MATHS. Why have it on the menu if it doesn’t work out better value for money ?? Tunes are STINKY- Mo Bamba by Sheck wes on at the moment; a banger of course, but in a ‘pub’ ??? Let’s not take the piss. Not what you want to be hearing. The Stella tasted off anyway. We were only there, as they seemed to be the only place showing Liverpool v Bournemouth. What a game btw, the prem is BACK. Should I get Ekitike in my FPL?? Anyway, avoid.

Fun pub in the heart of Florence. Chill atmosphere, very “bar food” style but it hits the spot. The crowd is young but still cool. Best part, awesome place to watch sports. We came in for an Alabama SEC football game and they had it up on the TV for us within minutes.

This place is probably 4.5 stars! They have a good selection of wine! While I didn't have food the couple next to me said the sandwich was delicious. You can sit inside or outside. This place got pretty busy around lunch time! If you are near I will suggest stopping by!

The place is small and nice. They serve some appetizers with is super nice with the wine. The wine itself is limited if you drink just a glass and they did not want really to tell us the differences between the bottles.

I found Casa del Vino somewhat fortuitously and I am ever so grateful that I did. I am even more grateful that I found them on their last day of trading prior the August Summer break. The wine was fabulous, the food simple but so tasty and so perfectly matched to the lovely wines. The history of the store is fascinating. The store itself exists from the 1800s, and this family - Gianni’s Grand Father acquired it in the 1920s. It is presently run by Gianni and Nicoletta, with their daughter Bianca and son Nicola (the 4th generation), ably supported by the wonderfully knowledgeable Claudio. Like everything else, in the end it’s the heart and the soul that makes the difference. Folk who have visited Florence will agree that it is stuffed to the hilt with establishments also ostensibly with long histories, but now the only focus appears to be on fleecing tourists who are sometimes too lazy to check or do their research. And yet Casa del Vino remains true to their ethos and the wonderful family team make it what it truly is. I cannot wait to go back and meet everyone again. Thank you🙏

Brilliant place, hidden behind the leather stalls. There's a cosy and local atmosphere and the selection of wines are amazing, having top producers, not only in new vintages but also with some age, which is perfect for wine enthusiasts. The staff is very friendly and you'll have a great time here.

Excellent place to try wines, hang out among the locals, and grab a delicious snack. Friendly husband and wife team own the shop and were so kind and helpful. They speak only a little English, and I spoke a little Italian, so together we were able to chat a bit about retirement and beautiful places to see. Great experience, and excellent wines (we already miss the white wine we had!).

The place itself seems to be cozy but the staffs there seemed to be irritated giving simple information about the wines. I wonder why they have different kinds of wines if "they are all the same" as they said. And i still dont understand why the old lady staff in there toughly spilled all the ball pens in the pencil holder in front of me, all of sudden.

Much smaller than the photos make it out to be, and very very expensive! We took a chance without a booking and stayed for 1 drink. €22 per cocktail... it was delicious but by far the most expensive drink of my holiday. View was lovely but not sure it would be worth returning too, there are better rooftop bars in Florence in my opinion. View from the toilet was a bonus!

This is a cute rooftop inside Hotel Continental that is popular during sunset - although you can’t really see much as the bar area is blocking the view. But nonetheless, it provides a romantic atmosphere. The cocktails were extremely pricey when we went in August 2025. I was here the first time in September 2010 and it was so nostalgic that I wanted to revisit the rooftop again. Snacks were provided with your drinks.

Great view, but the bar clearly shows disparate treatment toward non-Caucasian customers. We were a party of three. When we arrived, several tables had just been vacated. The bar manager claimed they were all reserved and directed us to sit at the countertop instead. However, multiple parties arrived after us—without reservations—and were seated at those same tables. When I confronted the bar supervisor, he said the tables could only accommodate two people. As shown in the photo below, most parties of two were sitting on the same side with an empty chair, making it clear that these tables could easily fit three. His explanation was completely unfounded. After 30 minutes and several confrontations, we were finally seated—at a table identical to the ones given to the other parties. The waitress was nice and the only highlight. I would avoid this bar at all costs.

Was a bit hesitant about this place as I thought it might be a huge tourist trap and very over priced, but was pleasantly surprised!!! My bf and I got signature cocktails which were 22 euros each but SO good and came with lots of chips and nuts to snack on. View was AMAZING and sunset over the river was perfect. Definitely recommend even for one drink.

A wonderful cheese & wine tasting at Vino al Vino in Florence. Warm atmosphere, natural wines, great pairings with cheeses and a true passion for sharing. Simple, authentic and highly recommended!

Wines were good, but everything from the same glass. The food was good, liked specially sliced meat selection which can be very good combined with red local wines. The staff doesn’t come to your table, you have to go to them and tell what you need. Apparently it was the owner who attended us.

We had an incredible tasting at Vino Al Vino. They were supper attentive and answered all our questions. The flight was amazing! We ended up buying a bottle to go. Highly recommend for an excellent wine tasting!

This bar has a nice vibe and they were very friendly to us. The price is quite reasonable! Quite difficult to find something similar, specially in a big city like this. Big variety of gins and whiskeys (for who likes it). Although the gins were served all the same, even different types. Still, very good.

The staff welcomed me with warmth and patience, introducing me step by step into the arcane world of single malts and bourbons. Cool wine bar with an extensive menu of wines from all over! Service was quite helpful when trying to choose what wine to order. Only reason I deducted 1 star was because the price of the platter does not resonate with what is given. 40euro for a board with 4 bruschetta, some veggies in olive oil and some small slices of cheese was quite unreasonable

Would avoid coming here alone. Nice wine bar with good selection of wine. I love natural wine, that’s why I came here, but unfortunately I felt really ignored because I came on my own. I was placed at the corner. No one asked me if I wanted another drink, they were busy with other customers, so they didn’t have time for a single person I guess. The waiter only gave me attention until a guy at the next table noticed that I tried to get their attention many times, so he was very kind to ask for the service on my behalf.

Pet nat + various other natural wines. Very knowledgeable and helpful bartender who helped us pick out two incredible local wines. Highly recommend for drinks. Away from the touristy area on a quiet street. We didn't try and food but the antipasto looked great!

🍷 Vineria Sonora – Your Funky Natural Wine Haven in Florence Nestled in the heart of Florence on Via degli Alfani, Vineria Sonora is a standout spot for natural wine lovers with a taste for good vibes.

This place is perfection! They have a very decent selection of natural wines by glass, which is not very easy to find in Italy. We’ve tried some of the finest orange wines here! Not only the wine is to die for, but also the vibes, food, atmosphere. Staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly, plus they speak good English and can get into a conversation about flavours and terroirs. They host events, DJ sets, and every Tuesday you’ll get to meet one of the winemakers who’ll guide you through their wines. Good thing I don’t live in Florence, otherwise I’d spend all my time here.

Only in Florence for three nights and we've gone here twice! Enoteca Bellini offers an intimate environment with a beautiful wine list and great aperitivo options. The staff is welcoming and lively, helping create a warm environment for both Florentines and visitors/non-Italian speakers alike. Thank you to all the staff who let us try extra wine and took the time to help us understand wine varietals we were unfamiliar with! This place is a must visit!

Probably the best - or at least the most popular- wine bar in Florence. We went early one evening as passing the night before when incredibly busy so we could get one of the few tables inside. Super friendly staff and good selection of wines by the glass. We had a couple of Proseccos which were nice. I think around €8 per glass but generous pours. Gets very busy around 8pm with the locals and most people stand outside with their wines and cigarettes!

Having contacted Enoteca Bellini ahead enabled us to have a cozy table inside so we could take in the lively apertivo scene. Delicious wines, wonderful service and an inventive menu made for a perfect start of the evening!

Such an amazing treat to finally try this restaurant. The menu changes every day but I will be dreaming about the food we ate. That saffron peach cheesecake will live in my dreams forever. Would love to come back next time I’m in Florence! Make reservations in advance if you can as you it’s seats a small number of people. The wine selection is the best we’ve experienced and Nico will help you choose from one of their many natural wines. 100/10 recommend

My boyfriend and I ate here over two years ago. I am writing a review now because it was such a memorable meal and an extremely special one. The wine bar was recommended to us by our Airbnb hosts, who were friends with the owner. From food and wine to service, everything was outstanding. Some of the best food we ate in Italy. We felt so taken care of by our waiter, who educated us on wine and some of the local cuisine. I cannot wait to return to Florence and visit again.

There is a truly reverent charm to this special little nook off the touristic beat. It is a highly personable and personalized experience to eat and drink in the company of Nico and friends. Every sip is thoughtful, considerate, cultivated, unique, and poured with gentleness and explanation. In a country rife with small moments of intimacy and kindness, this whole experience stood out. The menu is progressive, but respectful to and rooted in the bounty of the region. It is beautiful, attractive, wholesome food at least as interesting and enjoyable as the wine. Make a reservation or you will be disappointed. Don’t show up starving or you might also be disappointed, as the service is a bit chaotic and inconsistent. I offer this warning not as disparagement; it is a busy little place and everyone gets as much attention as can possibly be offered. Nico does too much of the service himself - an endearing, but inefficient touch - and I hope Enoteca Spontanea’s obvious success will allow them to hire just one more person for help. I really think just one more person to take orders, run food, clear/set tables would make all the difference and allow Nico to focus on what he clearly loves most, creating a pure distillation of happiness through funky wine.

Favoriteee spot in Florence! Insane natural wine selection. We stopped in multiple evenings in a row on our last two trips. The owner, Nicola, is the best - we told him our preferences and he found the perfect bottles. Need reservations if you want to have dinner, and you should!!! The food is somehow just as amazing as the wine selection, service, and vibe.

You should go every day, trying everything on the menu. Please make a booking to be sure of a table. You can generally have a drink out the front. The address is 61r, not 45 as Google will say. It is probably the best food in Florence. Above all, this is about quality in everything, so please take the opportunity to enjoy it.

One of our favorite places to dine in Firenze! Nicola the owner welcomes you with open arms. The menu changes weekly depending on the fresh local produce that Nicola selects. Nicola asks about your wine tastes and what you have selected for your dinner. He then gives you a choice of wines and describes each one’s taste and background. Dinner was delicious and the wine was fantastic. Reservations are a must!!!

We were meandering thru the Four Seasons and came upon Onde while walking thru their gardens. The gardens at dusk are beautiful and I won't share all my pictures so you can discover your own favorites. The service from Sara was impeccable and Francesco was a joy to chat with as his knowledge of wine was extensive. The caprese was very fresh. The tuna was slightly fishy considering it was the special but my pasta was very good and just the right portion. Sitting on the patio was wonderful and chef's chocolates were a perfect finish!

A truly beautiful Piazza to visit in Tuscany. Many shops around with lots to offer. Restaurants and bars with so much variety. Very crowded and many tour groups but worthwhile.

Priced at 12.5€ per person it is one of the smaller museums but with a few show stopper rooms which make it worth it. The first room you enter is very grand with sculptures circling the room and art all over the walls and ceiling. From there the rooms are much smaller but still have unique pieces worth seeing.

Wonderful piazza 🥰 we stopped here to let our son scoot freely. Simply staring around feels like a gift because of its beauty. You will find a replica of David here and Perseus with Medusa’s head. Florence is indeed a heaven for art lovers.

The best view you can find in Piazza Señoria ,just placed in the heart of Florence, close to Ponte Vecchio, Duomo, restaurants, shopping, Museum, etc., everything you will like to see in Florence . The apartment was very clean and nice. It has what you need, even washing machine. Elevator is nice to mention, very practical when the apartment is on the 4 floor. I'd love it! Those windows were a real entertainment with a glas of wine and watching all the visitors on the Piazza. 🍷😅🥰

Piazza della Signoria (Italian: Piazza della Signoria) is an L-shaped square in front of the Palazzo Vecchio in Florence. The square was the center of political life during the Florentine Republic. Its totally free to visit and worst it. Definitely recommend

We stopped by on a Saturday evening and had a great time. The place has a very cool vibe — tons of records, great drinks, and a modern, stylish atmosphere. There was a nice party happening when we arrived, and we really enjoyed it. The only downside was the long queue for drinks, but overall, it was totally worth it.

Great spot for dinner with a view of the duomo as long as you’re happy to pay €12 for a spritz! The live street performers added to the experience too. Service could be better but the food and drinks were good. The location is what makes it unique and ultimately that’s what you’re paying for :)

Great Atmosphere! We stumbled upon "Move On" for a late-night dessert after dinner and were so impressed! This spot is right in the middle of Florence and is definitely a cool spot with great vibes. The interior and atmosphere are fantastic, stylish, retro-original. We especially appreciated the incredibly friendly service. The staff seems to be in a good mood and happy! That kind of positive energy is extremely rare these days and makes a huge difference! The desserts themselves were wonderful. They were beautifully decorated, tasted fresh, and were the perfect cap to our evening. We can absolutely recommend this place any time for a drink or a fresh, well-presented dessert. A genuinely nice experience!

Super cool. I had initially only gone here for the vinyls but found myself sitting down for a pizza instead. They have amazing seating up top with all the LPs and you look right out at the Duomo. They have tons of new albums but also sealed older albums.

A great respite stop here. go upstairs grab a cocktail and peruse the vinyl in this stylish shop overlooking the Baptistry and Duomo - Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore. Lucky we caught some live opera singing too.

Loved the vibe at Move On Pub and Record Store right away. Great looking bar and fantastic views of the Baptistry of St John and the piazza. Great music playing and the upstairs record store was stocked with varieties of music from Italy, USA and other countries. The upstairs also had a few tables to have your drinks while enjoying the view. Prices were good and drinks were tasty. Rinaldo was friendly and fun!

We had a great evening at B-Roof. The service was warm and attentive from the moment we arrived. The food menu is on the smaller side, but everything is thoughtfully chosen. We ordered the salami board and it was absolutely delicious, high-quality ingredients, beautifully presented. The atmosphere is elegant and stylish without being pretentious. It has a luxurious feel, but it's relaxed and welcoming at the same time, perfect for a special evening that still feels comfortable. The real highlight, though, is the view. We had a 7:30 PM reservation and were seated at a table facing the Duomo. Watching the sunset from up there was unforgettable. Florence glows in golden light as the sun goes down, and as night falls, the city lights up beautifully. For the experience it offers, great service, quality food, and an unbeatable view, t’s surprisingly well-priced. Definitely worth it. Highly recommended. Just make sure to book in advance if you want that sunset view!

B-Roof is such a great place for occasions. The ambience and interior are so posh. Food prices are decent, I tried the scallops and lamb meat and it was tasty. Recommended for visitors who take lamb meat. Staffs are friendly even for such a posh setting restaurant compared to others. Truly made the whole experience a wonderful one.

Had an early dinner here last September. The crostini misti was amazing — definitely my favorite part of the meal! The steak was okay but not really worth the price. The place itself is cozy with great service and a beautiful view over Florence. Honestly, if it wasn’t for Assassin’s Creed, we probably wouldn’t have visited, but I’m glad we did! Just wish the crostini misti came in bigger portions.

We first sat for drinks outside. The view area was closed but small terrace was open. Service was slow I think for the low season. But dinner was the game changer. Loved everything we ate. Good service. Nice vibe.

A fabulous little brew pub serving an excellent range of craft beers. Staff were knowledgeable about the hops, and navigated our diabolically bad Italian with aplomb. We enjoyed it so much our pre-dinner drink was joined by an after-dinner dessert beer, as it just happened to be on our route home. For all beer-o-philes and lovers of craft beer, don't miss this one.

I’ve been to nearly 100 craft breweries all over the world, not only is this one of the best I’ve had the pleasure of frequenting it’s also one of only 5 in all of Florence! AMAZING variety of craft beers all from Italy, easily the best (and one of the few) craft breweries I was able to find in Italy. Knowledgeable staff and impeccable vibes, make a point to have a pint (or three) here if you love great beer!

You know that feeling when on holiday, sitting down for a beer or two, and quickly realise that the place would be a favourite hangout if it was in your hometown? Archea delivers that feeling in spades, not least due to its friendly and very beer-nerdy bartenders. A gem of a bar/brewery, with mostly local/Italian craft beers. PS: remember to feed the T(ip) rex :-)

We had such a great time here enjoying the breweries beer, chatting with the locals and buying some beers from Brussles. (Cantillion). Bartender was incredibly nice and super knowledgeable as well. Welcoming to tourists well versed in beer.

What a shame our last night in Florence was our worst meal. The server, Anna, was clearly trying her best but they were so poorly understaffed and the other staff there seemed unwilling to assist. Dinner took 3 hours without reason. The last place I had 3 hour service involved 2 rounds each of starters, first course, mains, plus dessert. Here we had 3 rounds total. We even had to get our own plates for the olive oil since Anna was the only server and had too many tables to handle. The food was also imbalanced - the spaghetti too salty and the addition of the anchovies rendered it practically inedible. The stuffed rabbit had gristle and bones which wasn't expected considering the way it was supposedly prepared. Overall, eat somewhere else since (reading other reviews) it depends on the staff for how your evening will go.

Awesome place! Staff was great and the food was delicious. We ordered de ñoquis, the boloñesa and a tuna salad perfect for the hot weather. The street is very cozy and the patio perfect for an afternoon lunch. We repeated! The food was so so good and the servers make you feel more than welcome! If I lived in Florence I would definitely be a regular!

High quality food in a beautiful space. Recommend the steak, burrata with grilled vegetables and potatoes paired with a local white wine. All gluten free and delicious.

The food was underwhelming. My cod had a bit too much salt. No one else felt that there was anything particular about their dish. Perhaps the tastiest thing was the crostone with brie, honey, walnuts and pear, although come to think of it, I didn’t perceive any pear when I tried it.

Cute little spot conveniently located before heading up the hilltop. My husband and I arrived about 8:40pm and most of the patio was already reserved. The waiter was kind enough to invite us to sit at a patio table with a later reservation (as long as we didn’t sit past 9:30pm). We ordered pate on toasted bread as a starter then a plate of ravioli in a white sauce topped with walnuts, as well as the stuffed rabbit with roasted potatoes. The food was very good and prices very reasonable. The prices were actually really great for the look and location of the place (dishes from 3€-15€). The wait staff was also nice. There are also tables inside as well. Bathroom is clean too!

Really sweet staff and good food! I was delighted to find my favorite wine by the glass on the menu, and the food was delicious. I wouldn’t order fish here because the menu says it might have been frozen. Otherwise, this enoteca should be more popular! A lovely experience.

The moment you step into the piazza, you are surrounded by stunning architectural masterpieces, each more impressive than the last. The Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, with its iconic red-tiled dome designed by Brunelleschi, dominates the square and captures your attention instantly. The intricate marble façade and massive scale of the cathedral are simply awe-inspiring. Truly a historic wonder. The dome is built around the Renaissance period by the Medicis. It was so big for it's time, that new techniques had to be invented. Lot of work done inside using gold. They have different tickets to go inside, see the museum etc. prepare in advance. The lines can be long and waste time. PS: Its my second trip after 38 years. Italian government is working to restore these historic places. It's good to see action to preserve these monuments for later generations. Italian people are nice. They will treat you very well. Don't hurt their pride!

What a spectacular building! I was obsessed. If you want a ticket to climb the duomo be sure to be organised. The campanile has a wonderful view of it, but the view points are largely covered in mesh which will be a problem for some photographers. I still enjoyed the view. The ticket to get you to the campanile, baptistery, and the two museums is worthwhile. The duomo museum has wonderful drawings and wood carvings of all the proposed new designs. I really enjoyed my visit there. The food of the baptistery is under renovation though and not seen. But the visit is still worthwhile.

Absolutely beautiful but please know toursit here will take photos of people and of you randomly whether youre Italian or not. The place is well worth going but if you seem to be "out of place" lots of people will take photos of you. Highly recommend going and visitng the church it is very beautiful.

I must see part of visiting Florence. Highly recommend the guided tour. If you buy the tickets to go up the stairs, just note that it is a very intense workout. If you plan to do this, and the bell tower. Lots of stairs! But the views are worth it

We had a nice dinner in this restaurant. Reservation highly recommended. Food was super good. The octopus was my personal highlight. The Tatar was for my taste a little bit “boring”. Service was top. Overall a good experience and highly recommended.

We absolutely love this spots for locals. Had such an amazing lunch that we returned to their wine bar next door and for dinner. It gets packed so go early. Great service - filled with locals which we love. If they are packed and you have to wait you can grab a bottle of wine next door at their wine bar. Worth the wait!!

This place is cool. Like the relaxing vibe and good food here. The cream brûlée has a natural refreshing flavour and it was the best we have even tried. We will definitely come back again if I come to Florence.

I have never been so insulted in my life. I'm a single woman from America Traveling that sat at the bar and basically was ignored for two hours. I had to grab a waitress in the salon to help me get my food my dessert and my coffee. So disappointed I would say do not visit this restaurant. Completely ignored look at this photos of the staff and the people sitting next to me.

I had a wonderful time visiting this restaurant and went for a celebratory lunch here. The servers were kind and warm and the food was excellent. I would argue the octopus we had here was probably the best I have ever had. We also got the ravioli in broth which was great. The santo spritz was really delicious too. All round a great experience and would come back if I was ever in Florence. Warm vibe energy and great food!

Popped in for a cool refreshing beverage. Lots of seats for the size of the venue. Outdoor seating on the plaza was very popular. Beer range was what I would describe as main stream, maybe not for those looking for a craft ale.

Cold beer was good for lunch time, hamburger had meat bread and cabbage.. chili cheese nuggets were great! We came for fish and chips but they took it off the menu so we settled. Service was great and fast! Very hot upstairs but quaint. Great party atmosphere, perhaps better at night when it’s cooler! All American rock n roll music was nice!

Spent 11 euro on a 1L beer to go, and they gave it to me a 0.75L plastic cup. By the time I found out and I told them, they told me “too bad, you should’ve asked for the glass mug & not the plastic cup. I’m not the owner.” Like what? How am I supposed to know? I even asked you specifically if the plastic cup was 1.0L and the worker said YES, they’re the SAME SIZE… Picture attached as proof. Scammers.

Great location, and possibly the best ‘secret’ view up on the balcony table, looking out over the square and Duomo. Reasonable prices for such a location, and no issues at all getting served. It’s a pub - so I walk to the bar to get served!

Stopped for a beer and burger. Waiter was disinterested. First beer was great a German IPA, I couldn't remember the exact name when I reordered but said it was the German IPA. I did remember and went up to the bar, they were already pouring a different IPA and would not offer to exchange. Beer was brutal and I didn't finish it. The burger and fries were terrible. Too many options around the area to go back.

Worst place I ever visit! Bad music and the worst service, for being a tourist they said that it was € 10 and they charged € 15 and they wanted to charge € 100 for the VIP area, where everyone, except tourists, came in. Empty space on a Friday night.

Music was decent. The bartenders are literally scam artists though. They run up the price of drinks and if you order more than 3, sometimes they will try to give you 2 in an attempt to swindle you out of some money. There is a €10 cover fee for guys, and the club was decently busy, but there wasn’t a whole lot of value from it. Honestly, I’d recommend going somewhere else if you want a night out in Florence. All 5 of my friends left with a horrible story or two to tell about this place.

The guy with a mustache at the front was super annoying and arrogant. The club kinda sucked. All guys yet they wouldn’t let girls in. I wouldn’t recommend since it was a club full of guys and who cares to get in for a few. Not worth it. Wouldn’t try again. Guy with a mustache was super rude.

This is the kind of night club where, whithout prior notice, they don't let smokers go back in after they went out for a few minutes. A friend had to threaten to call the police, to be able to go back inside so she could take her bag. Avoid to deal with them for group parties, as our experience shows they do not respect their contract.

You have the option to pay 10 euro for 2 drink tickets which is nice for that area but the venue is small and not a good setup

The club was VERY small, my cocktail tasted not good and 15 minutes waiting to enter even if the club was almost empty. Bah...

TRASH!! Service was absolutely horrible!! Food was SUPER SALTY!. Drinks were like juice didn’t have nothing to do with alcohol. I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone. The only good thing was the music aside from that it was terrible. THE FACT THEY ONLY HAVE 3 things on the menu and still manage to butcher it, disgusting. Would not go back!

My favorite place in Florence. I have been here for a year and I always go back to Il Margaritaio. It never dissapoints. If you are Latin@ it's a must!! Gianluca is the best bartender. And overall great. Thank you il margaritaio for the best nights!

10/10 experience! The bartenders were also the DJ’s so they made sure to make all different ethnic groups feel welcomed by playing different types of music. The drinks were soooo good (although the spicy one could be more spicy hehe) and the nachos were amazing. Would definitely recommend to anyone who’s craving a little slice of Mexico!

Found this place on random search and was interested because it was off theme for the area. However, it did not disappoint. The drinks were great (try happy hour 17:00 - 20:30). And the food snacks were great as well. The service is great, very prompt, and all tastes very great. I can't say enough how hard the staff worked to make everything great and never was there a wait even with a full bar. While the space is very limited, they will do their best to accommodate. Happy drinking!

This is our favourite place to go to for our aperitivo happy hour Saturday! Place is small but I wish it was bigger cause it can be pretty crowded after 6.30pm depending on what day, usually crowded on weekends. We always order the frozen margarita cocktail for its cheap price but also for the abundant amount of the drink, worth the price. The music are also good and catchy. The staffs are kind and friendly.

L’Margarito is a fantastic happy hour/group spot. Cocktails are well worth the price and delicious. I got the Mex-Mojito and it had nice spice and flavor. I highly recommend getting the mixed Wings and ribs platter, i couldn’t stop eating they were that good! Both are a dry rub, with tender and juicy flavor, these were awesome. Service was quick and friendly, and the vibes down here are great.

This bar is a hidden gem in the middle of Florence. One of the most awesome cocktail bars I’ve ever been too! It has an awesome speakeasy vibe and the decorations were awesome! The drinks wear very cheap and top notch! The employees were incredibly friendly and inviting and they literally went overboard with filling our glasses.
