Went to this lovely rooftop whilst on a girls trip. Lovely decor and vibe with the DJ. The food was delicious mini burger and chips! Cocktails were yummy and the barman made a French martini for my friend even though it wasn't on the menu! Sign of a good barman. The service was sometimes slow but it was a Saturday. I definitely recommend booking. Passion fruit mojito also very delicious. Very reasonably priced would pay twice as much in London.

Our waitress, Betty looked after us so well. Lovely rooftop restaurant with great atmosphere. Food was amazing - the duck was exceptional and I highly recommend the dessert sharing platter. We had a really lovely night. Highly recommend!

Visited Nomad during a recent two night stay in Bucharest, on the recommendation of our hotel concierge. I'm so glad we made the time to visit this beautiful, rooftop bar and restaurant. It feels a little strange walking down a busy street to enter via a small lift door but when you get to the top, it is definitely worth it. The staff were attentive and helpful, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was busy yet relaxed. There was a DJ playing a very chilled set that wasn't too loud for us oldies on a Sunday night. The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful with a spacious outside area, gorgeously decorated inside restaurant and bar and the most amazing toilet doors I have ever seen 🤩 If you're visiting Bucharest I would highly recommend putting this place on your 'Must Visit' list.

Lovely bar with a vibrant atmosphere. Enjoyed a couple of interesting cocktails - a smoky whiskey and a grapefruit gin cocktail. On the more expensive side for the area, but still reasonable (particularly compared to the UK!).

Food and drinks were tasty. Prices are great for Bucharest. Unfortunately the staff let us wait so long, just to ask for the bill. Then another waiting time just to collect the money. They were running around this place but not noticing anybody. It was also really loud so not easy to understand each other.

Great cocktails prepared by friendly & cute bartenders. Make sure you stop by when DJ DragosH is mixing the perfect tunes for listeners of any age. And you can browse through the not very large, but well chosen collection of books and photoalbums, in case you get tired from dancing in the not very large inner space of the Urbanist. They make decent coffee, but they only offer macro brewed beer, and the volume is to high to chat with your friends. Disappointed. The staff are so welcoming, they will give great recommendations and make proper cocktails. It's a lovely intimate setting with vibey music, we went twice and were not disappointed. You definitely have to try their pizza options!

This is a hip place Which mean you could go inside because you are going to be blown away. The decor has been infused with lots of character. You will see DJ decks, including their own merchandise that is of really really good quality . The outside space is also pretty cool but inside will make you just not want to go outside Check it out and give this a thumbs up

Control used to be a really nice place, a “must visit” area f the Bucharest night. Lately the place is evolving into a more mainstream and non-inclusive space, which is not good considering that this club was one of the flagships of inclusivity in town. The last day we tried to enter we were treated by the door security staff with a total lack of any manners or education, just stating “not tonight” with no any further explanations while other people were paying their ticket and entering to the club. This definitely a pity as one place I used to consider relevant, inclusive and fun, now Control is becoming non-inclusive, mainstream (in the worst possible way) and rather annoying. Don’t waste your time, money and dignity there considering how many nice places you can find in town.

Terrible door staff. Travelling from Canada and refused entry just because I was not Romanian. Pathetic. Avoid at all costs. People working the door tonight should be fired.

The bouncer was ready to let us in, he pulled his machine out, I pulled my card out to pay. Then he suddenly decided that we weren't fit to enter. He said it is not possible now. No reason, just a shrug of his shoulders. We ended up having a great evening at another place because of the bouncer at Control. Spent 500 leu. Posting it here so the management knows they are losing money and customers. Not sure they care overly though.

Went on a Tuesday night, place had great decor and bouncing. Half price drinks after 10 as well, great value, if you can get served 🤣. Bartenders were… picky to say the least, but would probably return.

So if u buy a ticket from the website for a party that starts at 20:00, if u arrive at 23:00 u ll need to buy one more ticket. On the website they r not goona tell u that. Be careful!

I can't believe I'm writing this review in 2025 but here we are. TL;DR place is racist towards black people. Long version: My friend and I came to this place on a Friday night, tickets in hand just to see how this place fairs based on a few recommendations. At check in there was a group of 5 black guys being refused entry, and they were asking why and nobody could offer them a reason. When security saw us ( both white ) they called us to get bracelets and asked us in. As we entered I could hear on of the guys asking: how come they can go in but not us. He. Was. Right. I couldn't stay in a place like this, I got sick from anger and we left 20 minutes later. I can't recommend this place to anybody at this point. There are other clubs in town, I'm sure we can find one that does not discriminate so openly.

Control lost its charm - terrible staff on Saturdays. Not sure what happened here but these days there is terrible staff at the door on Saturdays, with a rather racist behavior, choosing who goes in or not. Avoid it not to be disappointed!

Best place to party 🥰 the staff is always nice🫶🏽, the music is for the soul and the drinks are for the brain. Coming here every time i wanna dance, because on top over the vibe, I feel safe. Thank you for all the wild nights.

We were a group of 10 guys on a weekend holiday. Loved the dj we were there until 5am on a Saturday night. Not gypsy style so great for us, service great, place needs updating a bit. Thanks hope this helps 🤠

Came here one night with my partner! Have to say we had a blast. Whilst the place is super small, there are no tables or chairs, so you soon find yourself dancing along with the locals and tourists. Plenty of choice for shots... Had a lovely time celebrating my 30th birthday here!

Catalin made a special experience out of our visit. We were 3 generations , 23, 55, 83 years old and everybody enjoyed .

Set your expectations before hand. They only serve shots. And play some Serious dance music. What could possibly go wrong? Highly recommended probably as a end of the night ABF (Absolute Bloody Final) stop because the shots come quick and fast.

Very loud music, couldn't hear a thing. The bartender was all about the experience, we just wanted tequila shots. Expensive, it wasn't really that good, but I liked the atmosphere.

The shots are great and might deserve 4-5 stars, but: 1. Never, in all the times I went there did they have change. 2. Ordering their bottled products is a bit of a scam. You pay a significant ammount of money for bottles that are not full and assorted accesories that are defective and ridiculously over pricesed. 1 star because a product with a premium price should not have silly issues like this.

Hands down my most favorite bar in the city. Kira and David were absolutely stunning bartenders and Alex is a genius who I would call the “chemist” of Bucharest. The Sunflower Seed Cocktail is a MUST HAVE and the best drink I’ve ever had in my life.

The bartender was super nice and helpful! He explained all the drinks to us and informed us on what went into making the drinks. Drinks were definitely interesting and had much different flavors than anything else I have had!

Very cool bar with one of the most original cocktail menues I've ever seen, it was so hard not to choose one of each! The sour honey (not pictured) was a real winner for me.

The venue is split with sun terrace and inside area, we went on the sun terrace making the most of the late afternoon sun. The food and service was really good although it was not too busy, the young team had clearly been trained well, taking care of every detail, showing a real desire to make our afternoon a positive experience. The menu like most places in town requires you to scan the QR code to access the menu, the order was taken at the table. Food quality and timing between courses was good, given the opportunity to have a 20min break between courses, we like that. My rating is based on the overall experience, therefore my recommendation is to go, look for the Spaceman at street level to find the entrance to the lift at top floor.

Had an amazing brunch at Linea! We were lucky with the weather, nice and sunny. Either way they have igloos and blankets on the rooftop in case it does get cold or rainy. And if rooftop isn’t your vibe there’s a cool indoor restaurant (with similar views) on the floor below. The food was incredible. I had mimosas, smashed avo & poached eggs on sourdough. Well catered for vegetarian but lots of tasty meaty options for my friends too. We just walked in on a Saturday lunchtime. Highly recommend!

Since it was last minute, there were no available tables on the terrace with the beautiful city view, so we were seated in the indoor area downstairs. The space there was nice, although it can’t really compare to the atmosphere and view of the rooftop (we went up later to take some photos and it’s definitely worth it). Service was quite fast and the food was tasty, with reasonable prices. Overall, we left with a very positive impression and would definitely come back the next time we’re in Bucharest — and we would recommend it to others as well. However, it’s worth noting that the terrace experience and the indoor experience feel quite different, so our review is based only on the downstairs area.

The best food in Bucharest! The fries were the best I have ever eaten in my life, everything was perfect. The views are great from the roof and there are so many photo opportunities. Unfortunately we couldn't sit on the roof as it was raining so they shut the roof for health and safety reasons however when it stopped raining we were allowed to go up and take photos. Service was fantastic and would highly recommend everyone to eat here.

Such a fun rooftop bar experience in Bucharest. The igloo experience was novel and the view was beautiful. Service was friendly and quick. We enjoyed attentive service from Prassana from Sri Lanka. We enjoyed cocktails and fries. What a nice stop prior to dinner.

Nice and quiet coffee bar, with an elegant modern architecture. I had a cappuccino, very good but it could have been a little larger. It's not easy to have a table on the terrace, as the place is quite popular at all hours.

Excellent service, coffee flavour and attention to detail in preparing the coffees. Tried both their cortardo and drip. They had several coffees ready for espresso, house drip, and a selection of more premium high cupping score offerings for v60.

Came here for breakfast, not a great choice has they don’t have much to eat just some deserts. But the staff was so amazing recommending me other places where I could have a more fulfilling breakfast that I decided to stay, and had a nice blueberry bread with a cappuccino. The cappuccino was a bit small, they probably have sizes, but I didn’t realized when I ordered nor was asked, but I saw others with bigger drinks. The cappuccino was good and yet different I think was due to the choice of coffee I made. In general good experience, service is awesome

Great place to have high quality coffee in Bucharest! Many local coffee shops use their beans for their drinks. The staff is helpful and amicable. The location is a short 5 minutes stroll from the Old Town so it is a great place to score a good coffee to start your day or as a mid-day perk me up.

At first, we saw a couple of people working on their laptops and hesitated a bit before giving it a chance, but it turned out to be a great decision to have a few beers there. The staff were incredibly kind, the simple ambience made us feel comfortable, and we got to try many Romanian beers at a fair price. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try!

One of the nicest places for breakfast in the old town with specialty coffee and amazing views of Tampa mountain and telecabin, located on a charming street in the old town. Good sandwiches with great variety, I only wish the tomatoes were more qualitative since it's the season. But all in all, wonderful experience, totally recommended. Could not find a better place with both specialty coffee and breakfast in the old town.

Environment was cozy, prices logical, and music very relaxing (and not loud at all). Placed in the heart of Brasov, it is recommended 100%. They provided us with a bottle of tap water, which was very very much appreciated since unfortunately most shops don't.

A very pleasant café near the square. The best cold brew with lemonade I’ve had in Romania, croissant with tahini and honey was perfect, not too sweet. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was a fan inside, so despite the high temperatures outside, it was comfortable indoors. Also, the music played inside was to my taste and not too loud. I recommend stopping by.

Very cool location and guys - the location was recommended to me by the dude from the souvenir shop over the street where I got my luggage stored. And I wasn't disappointed, in fact the opposite was the case: The salmoned trout sandwich with avocado in combination with a nice blonde beer from the draft was extraordinary tasty. Thanks to this reference and the guys, it really helped me to overspan the 4 evening hours until my FlixBus departed.

My husband and I came for a late drink on a Saturday night and had a great time. The cocktails were really good and the DJ and atmosphere outside were exactly the vibe we were after. Our server was nice and friendly.

Food was good but at 8pm they turned on the music so loud as if it was a club. There were only few people sitting at the tables and eating and the music was extremely loud, that you couldn t hear each other at the same table. When i told the waiter it was too loud, he replied “it is a party tonight”. I ll let a picture with the “party”

Very arrogant staff. In the past 2016-2021 it was a very nice place, actually one of my favorites. This evening even though the schedule ending hour is 1:00 am the staff kick us out in a very rude manner, they were saying “we wait 20 people for them”; “if we told you that we closed, we closed, we don’t stay after you” the time it wasn’t even 12:30 am, very, very rude behaviour of the staff, we went to this place many times during the day…but please train you staff something about customer service it was inadmissible and you will loose many clients because of this (by the way we weren’t the only table left)…horrible situation :) Please teach your staff some customer service tips, we were clients that went to this location often but what happened this evening is absolutely inadmissible…Thank you!

We decided to stop by without reservation. We were placed at a small table because it was quite busy, even though it was Tuesday evening. We could have ordered for sure more if the waiter would be paying attention. Even though there were three waiters, none of them really saw us struggling to get their attention, before there passed at least 5 to 10 minutes each time. Not to mention I asked for butter for my Tuna Tartare, which never arrived and we had 4 B52 on the bill. We ordered 4 but received only 2.. The food taste is okay, better displayed than it’s taste. The most disappointing were the chicken tenders and the fries, which were extremely oily. The drinks seemed like the menu says „light cocktails „. Even though I am guessing this dis not mean that they should miss almost entirely the alcohol. Some years ago Entourage was really a treat, right now, I will rather not visit again. To me, to is, it was disappointing.

The atmosphere and music are good, go after sunset because it becomes more cosy and romantic. You MUST make a reservation, otherwise you’ll be waiting for a long time. The waiters are friendly and helpful but it takes some time to get their attention. The food is okay, I recommend the papanași and the NaNa Gin Tonic as I always get them!

Best club in Bucharest!! The best music and they change the dj constantly. They even have live music sometimes or dancers and entertainers. Full of young people, really lively!

Trust me and dont go there. We were a group of 6 sober ppl and we were all rejected for no reason. Furthermore guards are really rude as their approach isnt professional. Btw we left the queue and tried to ask "so called" manager whats going on and why were we rejected. The exact answer was "You are unworthy".

As a first comer without knowing anything about the place I liked it. The drinks were refreshing and different. The food was good, but had a weird experience with the staff from the kitchen with whom I initiated the conversation in Romanian, he replied in English, and when I went to pick up the food only I caught him talking in Romanian and then switched to English again when he saw me. What's that about? I found it a bit pushy the way you were asked about tips on everything. And honestly when you have your clients doing some of the works we were used to expect from the waiters it's rather odd to ask about how was the service or tips.

Funky and young, good music, hip crowd. Especially for wknd days, better call and book a table (on the terrace). The food menu is not large, but the dishes are well prepared and quite tasty. Order your food on the outside booths. The drinks are available at the bar inside. You can pay by card.

Nice place, nice music, nice people. We have been here at corina sirghi concert and it was great! If the guys at the bar would chat less and serve more it would be perfect. When you are thirsty u just want a drink not wait to here them laughing and talking with their friends or customers...

We had a wonderful wine tasting event with Dario. And would highly recommend it. Very generous tapas style snacks to go with the wine. All wines from Romania were spectacular. Started with a fizzy white which was a nice start, then white, rose, red and dessert wine. We had our favourites amongst it but all of them were really nice. And by the end after generous servings of wine we were wonderfully merry!! Very relaxed evening learning about where each wine came from with Dario providing just enough information whilst also leaving us with peace to enjoy it without hurrying. Would highly recommend. We stopped here for a couple of afternoon drinks and a small meat and cheese platter. Drinks and food were both great but what made it extra special was the fantastic staff. They were so friendly and helpful! Definitely stop here for some Romanian wine! 10/10

Located in the city center, more precisely, in the Old City, Abel's is a warm wine bar, with a welcome atmosphere. The wine selection is pretty large, covering many Romanian wineyards, some less known (e.g. Domeniul Drăgași), but also offers many foreign wines. Their sommelier is always happy to help you identify a wine suited to your taste, or to recommend you something new for you, of you're in an adwineturous mood. A perfect place for a meeting with dear friends.

I did a wine testing here, this was great. The only thing I would like to have is the cheeze platter that comes with the tasting before the first wine. It would be fun if it was locally produced cheeze aswell and explainen from where. It was a great prize and good service. 5 stars.

Not just a cafe but almost a museum, the venue is filled with items, instruments, and costumes reminiscent of rock music legends — the attention to detail is truly impressive. With its spacious seating, airy atmosphere, and lake view, it offers both a delightful dining experience and a visual feast. The service was fast and well-organized.

The hard rock restaurant was quite good. We order different kind of burgers, some wings, nachos and the 3 burger sliders. The food tasted really good however the portions sizes were honestly disrespectful. 2 of us ordered the double burgers and the bigger sized burgers and when they came they were so small, there was barely anything inside of it. The atmosphere was nice and they had live music outside. It was quite loud but you could still have a conversation. The desserts were nice I ordered brownies and there is no photo proof as it was took good that I forgot to take a photo of it but I wish I did because the presentation was great. They played great music inside the restaurant, after the live performance was finished. The food was great other than the portion sizes of the “big” burgers. The nachos were amazing, and the BBQ sauce was great, we really loved it. Definitely worth a visit, but make sure you get a normal sized burgers not a “big” one which it is definitely not big.

We visited the cafe as we do usually in every city we visit. We enjoyed the park in front of the cafe which on any regular day with some sun attracts many visitors and is very nice for a stroll. The cafe itself is nicely decorated, we liked especially the bar to drink our bloody marry. The food, burgers, and beef fajitas are delicious. Shop personnel and service is excellent and friendly. One of the few restaurants you can say where atmosphere is great. You can reach the place easily with uber, taxi or even metro in front; or your own car but there is not much parking.

Amazing! Hard rock gives the real American food and atmosphere. If you're a fan of that, this is the place for you! I think prices are fair and the staff is amazing. Just entering this restaurant you will feel back in times in an American restaurant and that's the good side of it! The BBQ ribs are a MUST TRY! In all fairness don't expect the world, however I think the food is really nice and the vibe of that place is a huge win! I am recommending it to everyone. If you're driving there the good thing is it has a huge parking with lots of spaces, the bad thing - it is paid.

A legendary place, with an impresive interior, but if you sit outside on the terace, you don't have that special feeling. I've been lured with the special Messi Burger, which was far away from expectation. I have understood from my friends, that the other courses from the menu, are better.

One of the best experiences we've had in restaurants, overall. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was great, and they showed genuine care for people with celiac disease. We had dinner there twice, and considering the celiac condition, everything went smoothly without any issues. They offer a gluten-free menu and were upfront about the possibility of cross-contamination, although they take great care to prevent it. The burgers are large and come with fries—more than enough for a satisfying meal. The music was excellent, and they even had a live performance. Definitely recommended, and we'll be coming back when we return.

Hard Rock Cafe in Herăstrău is such a great place to relax and enjoy a good time! The atmosphere is lively yet comfortable, with great music playing and an amazing collection of rock memorabilia all around. The food is delicious — everything is fresh and nicely presented — and the portions are generous. The seats are super comfortable, perfect for spending a couple of hours enjoying the vibe. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the whole place has that signature Hard Rock energy that makes you feel welcome.

This park is Bucharest's equivalent of Central Park in New York. It's a green space that hosts important biodiversity for the city. It's also a popular spot for family outings, with playgrounds, sports facilities, and some of the best restaurants and clubs in town. The park is quite expansive and serves as a little oasis within the city.

Expect a wonderful walk around the entire lake. Must see.

A huge lake with a scenic path along the bank. There are many magnificent swamp green cypresses on the bank. You'll find many good cafes & restaurants here, playgrounds for children, sports grounds. One of the sports ground very old, iron & tough, especially for workout men & women) Only horizontal bar, ladder, rope with knots & pylon(look at it in the last photo)!!! A very good place for running in hot weather, because you are running all distance along the bank with beautiful landscape and in a shadow of trees.

The biggest park in Bucharest! We have enjoyed strolling throughout the park. One may choose to avail the bike rentals but be careful as the bike lanes are allotted in between pedestrian lanes. There are plenty of kiosks to buy local and commercial ice creams, baked goods and drinks. Likewise many restaurants to choose from. Nice view by the lake definitely! It can be crowded in the evening as many families spend time here. Some part of the park requires better maintenance otherwise really beautiful. You can rent a private paddling boat or just buy a ticket for 15 Lei for a 25 minute boat ride like we did because the weather was too hot. You'll better appreciate the place with this short boat tour but no audio guide available. We had late lunch at a big and busy restaurant calles Beraria. There are oftentimes a big event happening here during summer. Though we were surprised how the staffs acted efficiently and they all spoke fluent English as communication for locals was a huge problem in many places. We spend time here pleasurably by visiting at the last moment the the National village museum located also just near the park. An entrance fee of 15 lei for adults. We went there about 1hr before closing time (19:00) which is not enough. Better allot about 2 to 2.5 hours when visiting this museum. Worth the visit!

Definitely more a wine bar than a place to eat unless you are going for a cheese platter. I wanted the Tomahawk steak but was told it would take too long to cook. Fair enough. Then I asked for the normal steak and they were all out. So I settled fir the lamb chops and my wife had the duck breast. All very tasty, came with potato wedges with some cheese sprinkled on top. Our starter of very tasty bruchetta also only arrived mid way through our mains. However the wine was delicious and waiters friendly and knowledgeable on all the wines. There's also an outside area for smokers and a secret room in the basement that you could probably hire out.

I accidentally found this wine bar by searching in google. First impression was okay but the more we stay the better it became. Didn’t order any fancy wine, just simple Romanian and found it great. The vibe inside was nice on the contrary of the outside which seemed a little neglected (maybe the poor condition of the alley outside gave us that impression). The platter I order took quite some time to come but it was rewarding. The DJ (Ignatiu?) when spotted out nationality started to play Greek songs which was amazing and enhanced our experience. The price was also reasonable. Love and regards from Greece 🇬🇷

We choose to try this as it was conveniently located in the Old Town. We arrived without a reservation and was met by Irina who offered to do a full Romanian wine tasting for us even though she had other customers. She handled this perfectly. She explained very well the various wine regions in Romania, which area was known for the various types and the history. Irina was professional but also showed personality and we are extremely happy and grateful for her service. Don’t think we would be this lucky elsewhere. 10/10

Was traveling around the Old Town in Bucharest and looking for a place to enjoy a proper aperitivo, as a good Italian deserves on an end-of-summer Friday. It was amazing — Romanian wine definitely approved! 🍷 The pub was full, the crew super busy, and when the time came to pay, we had a little issue with our bill. But we were assisted right away, the mistake was quickly fixed, and we even got another glass of wine on the house. Highly recommended!

I came in for a private wine tasting and Danny was absolutely wonderful. There was another couple also doing a tasting and as it started to rain and we had to move closer we decided to just do it together. Well we wind up spending the evening and ordering the charcuterie board and having fun with Danny and ordering some more wine and I will probably go back tomorrow after I get back from my viator excursion because corks cozy wine bar is just too good to pass up

A very interesting experience, the place itself was alright but the way into the establishment was mildly sketchy. You have to enter the door where a big music sign is and then just keep advancing downstairs. Once inside, you're greeted with nice music and the staff ready to seat you. We'd been told we were only able to sit on the chairs and tables on the lower side of the pub until around 19:30 (no explanation, and upon further inquiry also no clear reason) but we figured it was because artists would be coming to play on the stage on the lower side. The drinks were good, very affordable and delicious with plenty of alcohol in them. The food also came quite quickly and we were able to have a nice talk since the music wasn't too loud either.

Great place open till late (2am) on a week day ❤️. Web loved their cocktails, I discovered the great combo of ginger beer with whiskey. My only recommendation for them is to try and match the music to the ambience (decor, menu, cocktails etc ) — those recycled mixes of dance and house music are a shame to the location’s name. Still, 5 stars for the cocktails By the way, the place is huge, and despite being accessed underground, it features a great terrace on the other side!

They were having a few electrical issues and could only do pizza for us which we wouldn't normally choose but they were delicious and very filling. The service was brilliant and they didn't miss a beat serving us even though the first lady couldn't understand us (English), a second jumped straight in. Looks like it should be really cracking venue for music in the evening.

An excellent bar with a great interior and very pleasant service. There’s a good selection of drinks, and surprisingly, you can also grab a bite to eat. The burgers were delicious. I was happy to spend time here and will definitely return again!

The location of this bar is great. I had two of the bar’s signature cocktails and I can’t say they’re anything to write home about but they were good nonetheless. Servers were attentive and very nice to us.

I come here every time I visit Brasov and I always get good quality food and service. During my last visit I felt a bit that the aspect of the dish I ordered was changed. The platter was messy and done in rush even if the place was not crowded at all. It was a bit of disappointment as I brought here a friend to whom I’ve told that this is the best brunch place in the city. I leave a picture for you to see it yourself. I hope you can fix this soon. Other than this, you can find many items in the menu, hot chocolate is delicious and staff very welcoming.

Amazing cocktails with good food, normal portion sizes

One of the hidden gems of this beautiful medieval town Brașov,located in the center of the town in the small beautiful Enescu plaza. Suggested by another great hidden gem of this town pastry / cake shop "Dulciurile Cristinei" ,it was a hit! The food is amazing! We tried the burgers meat and vegie, they are artizanal burgers. All the food is in-house, made from scratch... I guarantee you, it will be hard to find another burger that good in the whole town. The Carbonara and Pesto pastas, you will have to drive to Italy to get something at this level. The desert at Opus is provided from the cake shop "Dulciurile Cristinei",eclers to make you crave for more, no other cake shop in town has the secret recipe to make them as delicios as this ones. Pilsner draft is fresh and perfect. We went back twice while we stayed in this beautiful town!

Right next to the city center but in a cozy, out of the turmoil of the masses of tourists, quiet little plaza, is positioned the restaurant Opus9. This place has a very positive and chill vibe, with large windows and cozy atmosphere. We had breakfast here and i must say that we had a really good experience and everybody had a good time. I had the Croque Madame and a nice Flat White and an Earl Grey tea with some milk and everything was very good.

If you're going to position yourself as a 'gastro lab' then I frankly have higher expectations. The service was great. The food was nice but far from amazing. Shrimps to start with. A generous portion but they tasted frozen. Some sort schnitzel for main but it was just an average schnitzel, underseasoned if anything. Mashed potato which needed more mashing and a salad which was completely drowned in dressing. In a less pretentious restaurant I'd award a 4* rating but in a gastro lab my expectations were definitely not met. I dock more points for the continual door opening of smokers blowing in not only cold air but also cigarette smoke. Whilst I'm eating. Really?

A spacious restaurant in a central area, right at Piața Victoriei. The food is very good—the pan-seared shrimp with garlic are the best I've had in Bucharest. I also recommend the AOP pasta and the appetizers, but take in consideration that the portions are quite small. However, the coffee is not specialty-grade, so I wouldn't recommend it to coffee enthusiasts, as they might be disappointed.

Amazing food, and the service was 5 stars. George was very good and friendly. I would definitely come back to this place. There was not one thing I could say I didn’t like.

Very fine experience, not my first time here, but my first honest opinion. First of all, I recommend a reservation a few days ahead. The menu is not very rich, but there is something for every taste. They have a great variety of wines from all over the world, including local wines. The service is fast, when busy it is best to waive at the waiter to signal that you are ready to order. The food has always been on point, exactly how you imagine it to look and taste when you read the menu. Enjoy!

Given the high prices and how they market themselves, i was quite disappointed. All the ordered bottles of wine were warm. We had to wait for each one around 30 min to have the proper temperature. The food was just ok. I had the sea bass and it was quite tasteless. Very small portions. If you are hungry, definitely order two dishes. The indoor setting is pleasant. The outdoor one is very common part of a larger group of tables. Staff was polite, although for a Saturday evening they didn't have enough people.

The food was great - good taste, nice plating, but quite pricy. The place looks good & has a cool atmosphere. The waiters ignored us a bit and took a long time to take our orders (had 2 waiters come, one for drink, another for food), despite telling us when we came that the table was available for a limited time due to a reservation later that evening.

The food was underwhelming and service is lacking. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and received the attached photo. This costs 10 GBP. When the bill came, they also let us know we are obligated to pay the bacsis cos this is tax. It turned out to be an optional tip. Best to avoid this restaurant.

Worst service possible. They don't respect the minimum for proper service. It's ridiculous how they don't put the correct amount of beer in the cup. It's crap. As a resident of Romania, I will never come back here again!!!!

Went there for a beer, the place is really nice, the food for my friend was brought relatively fast, it was tasty and warm. The only thing I've noticed is that there is a difficulty to be noticed by the staff. It took us 10-15m to get our order. Maybe a QR system can help with that.

I came here to have some drinks and snacks and it was a good decision. The location is nice, near the Calea Victoria and not far from old town. The place looks very nice with decorations , and a lot of tables outside in the patio. It gets full but there are many waiters and they are very kind. Service was fast and the drinks were good. I saw people come here a lot for the beer however we tried cocktails. We also tried the Romanian eggplant salad (which is like a dip) and it was good. Prices are fair, so it is a good option for a night out.

My recent visit to this location left me extremely dissatisfied and questioning its high price tag. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the service was far from satisfactory. The waiters seemed disinterested and completely oblivious to our attempts to grab their attention. It was frustrating to be ignored repeatedly, especially when we needed to order something. The quality of the food was equally disappointing. The burger we ordered was poorly assembled, with low-quality ingredients. To make matters worse, the Pasta Aglio e Olio was swimming in an excessive amount of oil. This was due to the unusual choice of penne pasta, which retained more oil than the traditional spaghetti or linguine. It was a culinary letdown, to say the least. Adding to our unpleasant experience, the waiters showed a complete lack of professionalism when it came to clearing the table. After we finished eating, they made no effort to clean the table for an entire hour. It was an incredible display of negligence and disrespect towards their customers. Furthermore, the pub's claim of being a pet-friendly location turned out to be more of a nightmare than a perk. The presence of numerous large, agitated dogs disrupted any chance of a relaxing time. The constant noise, jumping on tables, and attempts to snatch food made the overall atmosphere chaotic and far from enjoyable. Considering the prices charged at this pub, the level of service, food quality, and overall experience were utterly unacceptable. I cannot recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a pleasant dining experience.

Is a tourist trap - overrated! nothing to see here and everything is overpriced. Beer is 5-7 €, quesadillas 12€ - the waiters are tired, grumpy and they don’t see you waiving. If you are expecting some sort of quality then this is not the place for you…Everything here is mediocre at best! This used to be a fun place -now is just a cemetery for those memories

Biutiful downtown is a bit aside but always full. So first make sure you book it in advance even in week days. The inside of the restaurant is very ‘instagramable’ with lush and raw decoration. It feels very unique. The cocktails are very good; the food is very good quality and the dessert was heaven! Waiters were nice to us and it Did not feel we had to wait long to be served. Honestly if you look for a nice dinner or a special occasion; it is very fancy here!

The place is really "biutiful", with a lot of nice decorations and a lot of space, but the food, even though it was cooked correctly, was not so good. The only logical explanation is that the quality of the main ingredients is not that good. The place has a great atmosphere, the service is perfect. The food is delicious! For starters we had the hummus with tabbouleh, guacamole and tacos. They were all good, but the guacamole was missing the coriander which gives it that unique flavour. The meat in the tacos was perfect. For the main dish we had a goat cheese salad, which was perfectly balanced, lamb kofta, good and tandoori herb marinated turkey breast, which is ok, not great. If you're a french fries lover like myself, I totally recommend the melted cheddar and crispy bacom fries....omg!❤️ The desserts are good, we had the mitzu and the sponge cake! Delish! The coffee is good, but the cocktails somewhat on the lighter side. 😉 Will go again and I recommend it, even though the food isn't wow, the overall experience is pleasant and nice. 😊

It is close to the Timpuri Noi subway station. When we made the reservation, they didn't mention we can't sit inside. Inside, as we heard (and one of the reasons we wanted to go there) it is beautifully decorated and intimate. They had some food events/festivals in 3 of their restaurants, but when we went inside for the bathroom, that room through which we went down to the toilets was empty. I can't explain more because we didn't receive further explanation or guidance from the hostess. The place outside was nice too, but if you are arahnophobic, it is best to sit on the high stools at the round tables rather than the long benches - they have spider webs beneath them. You can put a pillow underneath, just to feel more safe. Anyway, nothing happened sitting on one of them, but it took me a bit to forget what I saw. We went around 05:30 PM on a Saturday, a DJ came shortly after. The music was funky at first and after he put smooth jazz, but the first part didn't seem fit for eating, I felt I was more at the beach than at a restaurant. The food was ok, we were recommended the wedges with bacon and cheese. My boyfriend had also the ribbs with salad he very much enjoyed and I had truffle pizza. It wasn't the best I've eaten, nor the cheapest of its kind. The cocktails were good. The Mitzu dessert was also good. For these two reasons and the interior of the restaurant I'd go again. The one who served us the dessert seemed professional, but he wasn't Romanian. The other bartenders / waiters they were polite to us, prompt. The only two things that didn't sit right with me regarding their behavior - this is because I had high hopes about this place all together - is that when they had some time off, they all gathered at the bar and laughed and just stayed there like a pack and the hostess at one moment came and put her hand on one of the waiter's behinds. It looked unprofessional and cheap, especially for a lady. I can understand the stressful part about the job, but not that kind of relaxation or familiarity as a response, when there are clients around. So, I was glad after all I had this experience, I spent some nice time with my boyfriend, this is what matters to me, but for a review I took all the details into consideration. I'd go again there, just under different circumstances.

The location is very beautifully decorated. Prices are medium. Food was good. They told us that men cannot enter the restaurant in short trousers, but i guess that's just their policy. The only problem ia that they don't really have a terrace, only a few tables and no one served there so we stayed inside. All in all, it was a nice place. Veggie options also

Came for drinks on a weeknight and it was quiet with a relaxing atmosphere. We didn't order any food, as other reviewers have mentioned that the food is not impressive. The interior is amazingly decorated and aesthetically pleasing. I prefer the downtown location more than the lakeside one. Visiting from Ottawa, Canada and this is the nicest looking bar I've ever been to! I would definitely come back in the future 😍

One of my favorite terraces in town. Great terrace, bohemian atmosphere, the chairs need some improvements, as my clothes always get trashed there. Also, the service needs improvement, never on time, and quite arrogant. The menu is expensive while in a quite unpopular part of the city, with a food menu which is below average and many drinks on the menu that are overpriced.

Very cool spot with a comfortable and relaxing outdoor terrace. There's tons of outdoor seating, and you'll be surrounded with interesting graffiti. The menu is QR based so you can take your time, with soups, salads, club sandwiches, traditional dishes and more. Service is fast & friendly. It's a nice option for lunch or dinner

Loved this place. The terrace is really nice and the attention is great. It's perfect to have a nice chat with friends, the music is not too loud and you can talk without any problems. You can either eat or have drinks and if you decide to only have a drink or two, you won't have anyone bothering you to keep ordering stuff. They have power outlets in the terrace so you can work from there if you're in the mood to work from a different place and surrounded by nature.

If you're over 24 stay away. The guard dude was super polite when drinking outside. Really don't go there if you want a orderly nice establishment.

We got here when they just opened at 11am. We were the first to be served, doubted a little bit to stay because there was no one else around and there was no music playing. Glad we did after a while the whole place filled up with friendly good vibes people and there was good music :) Will come again when I'm in Cluj.

Great cheap drinks, fast service and good music. Room outside in the garden is sparce and crowded after 6pm, but with good people and pets.

The location and sky bar are quite nice, but the sky bar only opens in the afternoon and you don’t need to stay here to take advantage. The staff is friendly and helpful, but the room was hot and muggy, with some bugs (at least on the first night.) I would recommend staying at their sister Hostel (little Bucharest) across the street. They have a nice common area and street level couches to chill. You can always check out the sky bar at night.

While the place has great views and very cool crowd, I had to wait very long in line only to see the bartender chatting up with others (I understand it is a nice thing to do, but not when there's a waiting line in front). When I got to order I saw him only pouring water over a dirty glass to clean it and then served me my cocktail in it. Big no-no.

I was here in a lounge for a meeting. The location was quite hard to find, but the inside was cozy and the people in the other lobby were playing the guitar and it actually made a nice environment for our meeting, it was a great joke opportunity (we were starting to discuss some love stuff and the guitar was just perfectly syncronized). Interesting location overall, central and with a nice view but hard to point out and the way up is exhausting for unfit people.

We only went to the sky bar, so I won't speak about the hostel. Even though it's a charming bar with a nice view, the personnel was very rude. I wanted to order drinks and the waiters/bartenders kept ignoring me. They finally spoke to me as though I was bothering them by just being there. The cocktails I got were average and made with a haste. We drank them and left because the personnel spoiled a lovely evening for us. Such a pity

The bartender who served me was really friendly. As someone who works behind the bar I enjoy chatty bartenders. We had a fun chat about cocktails and he served me a delicious Cosmopolitan. If anyone's ever around the area - definitely stop by! The view from this sky bar is amazing!

Paper thin walls doesn't allow for any sleep if your neighbours are up. No blinds on the windows? Washrooms are terrible - the showers here are a joke. The only good thing is the location and the staff was nice enough but I'm sure there are competitors worth staying at. Would not return.

Yesterday we tried to go and enjoy our reservation at this disco-club, but unfortunately the security guards at the entrance didn’t allow us to enter. The “reason” was our dress-code. Totally false, we were dressed well. The main reason was because we are foreigners. I don’t recommend this “club”.

WoW!! Just go here, you will not regret it. If you are with a group and youre in Romania for just a short time, then pool your money together and book a table or buy bottle at least, it will change your experience. This is a mega club with settings designed to blow you away. The lights, leds, music etc is all of top quality and more. The only thing is that the entire club I oriented towards table bookings, 1/4 of the club, if not more is designated to the dancers in the stage in the center. It’s good, but you didn’t go to club to look at dancers, but that is the type of crowd they attract. The 2/4 of the club is just for table booking Nd VIP at the top. Then, the rest is for spectators 😅 Hence why I said book a table. Clubs are tondna e and o a little bit crazy but there is no dance floor here where you see the regular hurdled people in an area designated for drunkards trying to coordinate themselves as they poorly attempt to groove to the rhythm. This is a place to show off, basically. Yes, best believe Romanians also know how to show of because they got money too. Erase that mindset you have about Romanians because they are on a different level than your local pub or club. Drinks, ehh cheap, but not that cheap. Let’s say 3 €€€ signs, you know how that works on trip advisor. THEY DO NOT ACCEPT CARD!!! I know! Are they still in the stone ages, believe me, they can afford to incorporate it, but I am quite sure there is an underlying reason for their refusal to take cards. It’s probably to wash money. What do I know 😉 The club is amazing other than that, I recommend you try it out. I preferred it to it’s counterpart Bamboo, which apparently is where the super elite go to. You could also see why but, you will get a better experience here.

Great club! We went on a Saturday night without a reservation or anything and we didn't have a problem getting in. Admittedly it was completely full but considering how huge the club is, that's kind of understandable. It still have a lot of people, especially other tourists! We paid around 6.5€ for our drink which was a good surprise! There were also dancers in the middle (like 5 women and one man) so that was nice, as well. The music was really good and we were surprised and very happy they even played two greek songs 😀 very nice experience. I recommend it!!

Group of seven, had a nice time at the very front tables (bit expensive though). But very close to the dance show which went on almost all night!

All a bit pointless really. Yes there are nice girls dancing about but all you can do is sit, drink and listen to Europop whilst being oogled by security personnel. Unfriendly vibe (as others have commented), just basically full of wannabes and posers. Move on, next!

The club is currently under renovation and closed. Do not come!

Ruma Gastro Bar is a new concept in Cluj and honestly, it’s amazing. For sure the cocktails are exceptionnel and the tapas is a voyage to several countries and tastes. The service is very nice and prompt. It’s a great place to go!

Lovely staff and delicious food. The salads were really fresh, and the tapas were very flavory. We liked everything, and we can't wait to come back and taste more stuff from the menu.

Amazing place! I had the pleasure have my wedding lunch there and it was just simply perfect. A combination of an amazingly relaxed environment with the perfect food. Marius, his wife and the team were just perfect the way they took care of everything and every one. Attention to details, availability, and care. Making the the 4 to 5h that we stayed there look like the time stood still. Without forgetting that all this was possible with a simple conversation and exchange of ideas on the phone. Just perfect! Thank you Marius, his wife and his amazing team for providing and giving us a moment to remember for the rest of our life's.

I would definitely recommend the share food here. It is really good and fresh, and the owners are constantly changing the menu. The venue is in a calm and chill place, away from the main road.

Brilliant! RUMA's menu is probably among the most interesting mixture of tastes you can try in Cluj. What we loved the most is the atmosphere, it's not in the high class direction, like you see in most new restaurants in Cluj, however their dishes and service are impeccable. Prices are also decent for such a central location. Give the home-made Coca-Cola a try, it's worth it. In terms of food, I loved the beetroot and calamari the most 💪🏼

The location is essentially the old Makeba, so it still has a casual bar-bistro, however they have significantly upped their food and cocktail game since the rebrand. The tapas selection is a great choice for a group of 3, but the mains seem solid as well. Also, big shoutout to the staff, legit some of the best service in Cluj, despite not being a fine dining location.

Good pub food! Crispy chicken and good beer, nothing pretentious or sophisticated, just something to eat while trying a local craft beer. Don't go with high expectations and you won't be disappointed.

Not great, not terrible. I don't recommend the burger, try the pork chops, that's what friends got and they were pleased with it. My burger was edible but not on par with the price of 42 lei. The meat was at best decent.

I ordered carbonara pasta and it was rubbish not al dente at all waht a joke. Not a fan of the pork ribs.

the ribs were fine and the portion was huge, but I can’t honestly say that they were the best I’ve ever had. what’s interesting is that you can order hamburger made of zebra, kangaroo or crocodile meat, haven’t tried them but it’s the first time I see such exotic type of food in Romania so that’s definitely a plus

We arrived at 20:30. There are 2 tables empty and clean in front of us. We asked for a table for dinner, they said no … no explanation, no sorry. Just no… worst restaurant service I have ever experienced !

The theme of the bar is unique, funny and overall so cool! You truly don't see something like this often - I'd personally say this is a must-see location if you are visiting Cluj and especially if you don't mind a place with a more bold taste in decoration. The entire place is soviet-themed, even the menu, food itself and the drinks, with funny decorations and even some commie memes displayed. The menu for the drinks is huge, there is a ton of cocktail options and all of them are very good. Even though this is a bar, it has mouth watering food (especially the burger) so don't be afraid to order some! However be mindful of the fact that this is a very popular spot in Cluj and it is always very hard to find empty seats - plan ahead of time, visit during the day or simply reserve a table! Also, during winter i do not recommend sitting on the outdoor covered and "heated" terrace, as its not really properly heated. Other than that, absolutely amazing place

Nice experience overall! Cool place with a good vibe, tasty food, and great drinks. Perfect spot to relax and enjoy the evening. Only thing—I wish our waiter smiled a bit more 😁. Still, totally worth a visit. Go and enjoy!

I found myself going here like once a week the past two months. The theme of this place would blow an Americans mind which I find hilarious. Greatly recommend this place!

A very interesting place, with an authentic appearance. Nice selection of food and drinks. During the day we were at lunch and it was almost empty, but that's why there were no seats in the evening. The only complaint is the unpleasant smell of moisture that can be felt when passing through the hall that leads to the restaurant, and that unpleasant smell extends to the first few tables. Everything else is commendable.

Didn't try the food. The music was too loud for having a discussion, but a lot of people seem to enjoy that. Otherwise, the atmosphere was enjoyable and I quite like the decorations. Quite many people stayed outside, where it seems to be more silent. Table reservation definitely recommended on Fridays and Saturdays. A place worth checking out.

I ordered beef wrap, and food made it from ground beef or burger beef, but tasty and veggies my type. Its not for what you expect, you may not prefer. Drink was pretty okay, French fries homemade, highly recommend. Also cool place you could have fun!

The food at this restaurant is undeniably high qualit and fresh ingredients, great flavors, and a well-curated menu. However, there seems to be a recurring issue with one of the chefs, who either can't read or doesn't understand basic cooking terms. Every time I order, I clearly specify that I want my meat well-done and my burger smashed, yet it’s as if those words mean nothing. I’ve received undercooked patties and thick, barely pressed burgers multiple times. It’s frustrating because the restaurant has real potential, but this lack of attention to customer requests is unacceptable. If they could ensure consistency in the kitchen and actually listen to special requests, this place would be an easy five stars. Until then, it’s a hit-or-miss experience.

We’ve been served by Vlad Visan. Ordered nachos, pizza, tomato sauce and some French fries. He brought us just the pizza 30 min later, no sauce. He said nachos are no longer available (those were supposed to be brought as starter). The waiter said is not his fault, but the cook. We ordered vanilla ice cream w coffee dessert. He brought us a glass of sweet water, lots of ice, no coffee. He did not take the dirty dishes away. When I draw his attention he said I can write a google review. So that’s the result. Shame!

The pub is located in the old city centre, next to the fountain. The food was very tasty and the service was fast. The waiter was friendly and polite.

Have to rate it 5 stars for the amazing pork ribs I had here: not only was it juicy dish but it came in a huge portion for a very low price considering what was offered It's a big place with lots of room on the front terrace and back in the garden, they play an interesting mix of music and the ambiance is laid back and relaxing You can scan the menu with a QR code or they will bring one to you, the waiting time for the food was normal, but I would say it took a while from the time I finished the meal to when the waitress came to ask if I wanted something else and the restaurant was not busy at all They didn't have any draught beer when I ate there, but this might have been an exception Overall, I highly recommend it for the food quality and generous portions that come at a great price

Been there on numerous occasions for food drinks or just a night out with friends. Reasonable priced the pub is well stocked and the bartender’s were spot on. Around 1am they have put on a nice show with fire spiting - that was quite unique.

Ok place to have some food and drinks. Food is regular pub food. Service was pretty slow, but it was a busy night.

We ordered a forbidden burger, smalls (mici) and plum dumplings. They were good, not the best we had but good. Service was quick. It gets busy in the evenings and especially in the weekends. The prices were more than decent.

Amazing authentic restaurant in city center of Oradea! All the dishes are amazing, staff is friendly, it’s easy to order and get around. It’s usually quite packed, so you may need to wait a bit for a table, but it’s worthy! Photos with the menu and food from today 12th September 2025. Overall a super nice restaurant with local food. The food was good but the portions are huge. We tried the goulash and the horsemeat burger. They were very well prepared. The place can get rather loud and we were initially sat outside but they do not have a separate non smoking zone so we moved inside to get away from the tobacco smoke. The staff is friendly and the place is wheelchair accessible. Though a brewery the place is kid friendly and good for the entire family.

Tasty Hungarian food and generous portions! ❤️ They had a great beer selection too—loved the raspberry beer. The staff was super nice and helpful, which made the whole experience even better.

1 star is for them being unfriendly. I was a solo traveler. They didn't let me in, arguing that all the tables were reserved, but, in fact, probably I had a low return on investment. Judge for yourself from the photo how croweded they really were on a raining Tuesday evening, at 6 PM. I get it that you have to make a profit, but this is not the way. The second star is for them "helping" me find the excelent Japanese Restaurant located next door.

Delicious place to go for a meal. Such traditional fatty food. There is of course pizza as without them in Romania 😊. A large selection of beer is also available on tap. The food is delicious, the portions are good, and the prices are attractive. The service was pleasant. What I didn't like was that you can't split the bill 🤷‍♂️; it's annoying that someone has to pay for the whole company👎👎👎👎. The chairs could be more comfortable👎. Good location in the center itself. Plenty of space inside too. Have a nice time for everyone.❤️❤️❤️

Hands down, some of the best cocktails I had so far. Had a Godfather, a Red Riding Hood and Palomita. I recommend all of them, but I'd say Palomita has something unique to offer. Atmosphere is also nice, the music is just right (choice of tracks, volume levels) and the staff is friendly.

Strange place. No ingredients for the best cocktails. Do not follow the bartender recommendations as you will try sweety drinks. The music is nice but too loud even in the middle of the day

Might be a bit overpriced and the menu is kind of complicated to figure out. Great location, right in the Black Eagle Palace passage. If you’re looking to drink a really nice cocktail while you’re in the city center, this might be the place.

Good service but the menu could be improved. I tried a few cocktails and all were too sweet for my taste and just bland.
