Located in Otaru, Hokkaido, the LeTAO Main Store is a must-visit for food enthusiasts. The store is part of a chain that includes six outlets in Otaru, with five along Sakaimachi street. The main store features a cafe on the second floor where you can savor their signature Double Fromage Cheesecake and other delectable treats.
The 1st floor is a store. On the 2nd floor, at a cafe, I ordered the Special Chocolate Cake set which came with tea. It was delicious with the feel of the main store advantage. After the cakes, I checked out the 3rd floor observation deck. It's only 3rd story high(it's a tower so actually higher than 3rd floor but the store says its on the 3rd so) but since other buildings are not tall, the place has a good vantage point. Don't forget to ring the bell. You will know what I mean.

This company had many locations in Otaru. I have to say their cheese cake (Camembert) and custard were amazing but can work on their coffee. Over all Otaru coffee place was not as good as Sapporo. In any case, people should try their cheese cake and custard in the little glass cup.
D和美 — Google review
LeTAO’s main store is one of Otaru’s most famous sweet spots. The ground floor is filled with cakes and souvenirs, while the second floor café serves their world-famous Double Fromage cheesecake with tea in a cozy space. There’s even an observation deck with views of the town. The café is very popular, so expect a long queue, especially on weekends. Good news for travelers, the store is foreign-friendly, and some staff speak English, Chinese and Thai making it easy to order and enjoy. A must-visit for dessert lovers.
Chalermchon S — Google review
The main store is really big and you can try different desserts. Unfortunately the cafe upstairs was mostly sold out. We bought a full cheesecake from the shop but it was frozen so we couldn’t enjoy it in the moment. They had some good samples and they also sell ice cream.
Hussain W — Google review
A place filled with warmth, sweet and cream aroma! Cafe in the 2nd floor is always full, offers cake and drink set. We ordered a 3 cake set, Strawberry, chestnut and grape cream cakes, silky and flavorful. Regretted ordering Americano, which was too watery. Should have ordered its aromatic tea. The portions are quite small, if you are expecting a Americano Starbucks size, order triple!
Jess L — Google review
The taste was pretty average considering its reputation. It wasn’t bad, but I honestly don’t understand why this place is so popular. It’s definitely not worth waiting in a long line for — both the desserts and the coffee were just okay.
Johnny K — Google review
My family and I as first time foreign tourists in Otaru were excited to visit the LeTAO here as it originated from Otaru. So, we decided to have some of its desserts at its cafe that's located on the upper level of the store here. While we had to wait for our turn to be seated, it was well worth the wait as the desserts were not only pretty but also pretty yummy. Service here was friendly and attentive. The dining ambience was okay and could have been better if the air-conditioning here was cooler to cope with the dining crowd and warmish weather.
Edtayjb — Google review
Very nice cakes! It is the most famous cake shop in Otaru or Hokkaido, best known for the signature cheese cake. The ice cream was tasty too!

Kitakaro Otaru Main Shop is located in a renovated section of the historic warehouse along the Otaru Canal. The store offers a wide range of products, including electrical appliances, watches, cosmetics, and Hokkaido food items that are perfect as souvenirs for overseas visitors. The top dessert shop in the area is Kitakaro Otaru Honkan, known for its delectable cream puffs and homemade rice crackers with various tempting flavors.
An iconic shop in the middle of Otaru’s famous Sakaimachi street. This is worth the visit! A large selection of cakes and other goodies. Highly recommended. Thumbs up! They also have tax free service.
Ron Y — Google review
I decided to try all three types of cream puffs: A: The shell is like steamed buns, very heavy and overwhelming to eat. B: Slightly less heavy, but there’s still too much cream. C: The thinnest shell, similar to the usual cream puffs (this one is the best choice). The common feature of these three types is the excessive amount of cream, making them overly rich. They lack the balance of flavors found in regular cream puffs.
Hellen P — Google review
I ordered their signature cream puff, which was about the size of my fist. The pastry shell was flavorful — probably thanks to proper dough fermentation — and the cream inside was rich, sweet, and delicious. Overall, the quality of the desserts here seemed quite good, so I ended up buying several as souvenirs to share with friends back home.
Johnny K — Google review
Kitakaro Patisserie is a delightful gem in Otaru, known for its exquisite selection of sweets and pastries. Famous for their Baumkuchen (German-style layered cake) and cream puffs, the shop consistently delivers desserts that are both beautiful and delicious. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a mix of European and Japanese charm. Their fresh cream products, like the custard-filled puff pastries, are a must-try. Many visitors also enjoy their gift-worthy treats, such as cookies and cakes, which are perfect souvenirs. Although it can be crowded, especially during weekends, the quality of the desserts and the friendly service make it a worthwhile stop for anyone with a sweet tooth.

This dessert place along Otaru Sakaimachi Shopping Street is highly popular for its cream puffs.

Pass by bought a cream puff - the only item left for its takeaway. Cream in puff very light and slightly sweet taste delicious

ooh the cream puff was delicious. No queue and in your hands in just a moment. Melt in your mouth with a delicious contrast of soft cream, custard and cookie-like crust.

Cream puff was heavenly 😍 I bought the B version which had a huge ball of thick fresh cream with a thin custard cream base. The colossal amount of fresh cream reminds me so fondly of the Maritozzi I had in Turin, Italy, which was equally heavenly!!!

Shiroi Koibito Park in Sapporo is a family-friendly destination that offers a variety of activities and attractions. Visitors can enjoy chocolate and cookie samples, explore exhibits showcasing the making of the famous Shiroi Koibito sweets, and even take a train ride through the park's garden area. The park also features a chocolate factory tour, cooking workshops, shops, cafes, and restaurants.
We didn't want to go here, but we're so glad that we did. Neither my wife nor I are great fans of sweets, but her family love them so we thought we should go here to buy some gifts. This was an excellent decision. We only visited the extensive free areas so cannot speak for the paid ones, but we had a wonderful time (aided in no small part by fantastic weather) and would definitely recommend that others also visit, whether they like sweets or not. The park is beautiful in a kitsch mock-european fashion with pleasant gardens full of roses. The animatronic displays were entertaining, and the park was spotlessly clean. When we visited, it was nearly October so the Halloween decorations were already out and appropriate music was being piped throughout the park. The shops were well played out and the produce was of a good quality. We enjoyed an ice cream and we're especially pleased by the customised biscuit tins that we were able to buy and which were ready in just 30 minutes. It was great to be able to buy so many gifts in one place saving us from having to constantly carry presents everywhere else we went during our trip.
Richard S — Google review
It’s such a beautiful place! I visited in mid-October, right in the middle of autumn. The gardens were decorated with colorful flowers in full bloom, and the weather was just perfect. If you don’t plan to visit any of the special exhibition rooms, there’s no entrance fee — just strolling around, taking photos of the rose garden, fountains, and stunning architecture already makes the trip worth it. You only need to pay a small parking fee, which isn’t expensive at all. When you get tired from walking, there are also tasty food and drinks available to enjoy.
Indira J — Google review
Wow, what a fun place! And it only gets better if you love chocolate. The open area is already so lovely, well kept, and enjoyable even without having to pay for admission into the park proper. But it's well worth it to pay the small admission price to see the chocolate museum and factory inside! I enjoyed the "time travel" presentation, and the Halloween theme during our visit. It's such an enjoyable visit that should last at least a few hours Pro tip: watch the clock tower at the top of every hour!
Eric — Google review
For a chocolate factory there are 2 products both are covered in so much biscuit you'd be surprised this isn't a biscuit factory. The story is cute and the garden is lovely, the garden is accessible for free and so is the shop and some lovely areas. Having been to bournville in the UK when it was UK owned and again when US Kraft owned it it's going a bit rubbish but is still about 100x more entertaining than this place. Recommended for if you like some superficial nonsense for your overpriced products. But if like me you were hoping to get some chocolate from a chocolate factory give it a swerve. Or just enjoy the English sort of aesthetic of the place and the garden but know the smell of chocolate will leave you deeply disappointed and needing to visit a shop for a proper chocolate experience
Steven H — Google review
A wonderland that is both interesting and romantic. The ticket is 800 yen for adults, tourists can get access to the main building by the ticket. The main building, mostly telling stories about the history of making chocolates and the founder of this factory, is magic. And tourists can also learn how to make chocolates and cakes here. And the most impressive part I’ve learned today is that ‘white lover’ is named because the snow in Hokkaido is beautiful so that the founder’s father called it ‘white lover’. The dessert on the top of the factory was just splendid! with good view by the window, a perfect experience! Highly recommended!! And if you don’t buy tickets, the free area is also amazing, like a magic garden in a fairy tale. It’s a pity that we didn’t get enough time today, maybe next time when I come with my child, I’ll spend a whole day here!
Liz L — Google review
Highly recommend to visit in October. The park is decorated for Halloween. We paid ¥800 to tour inside which was interactive for children as well. The factory view from above was very interesting. There are also plenty of photo spots and even a ¥300 camera from above photo spot in the courtyard. We purchased customised 36-biscuit tin and magnet from the Piccadilly shop downstairs in the main building and it was ready after a 30 wait. There are some shop exclusive items, however, the biscuits are standardised price across all gift shops in Hokkaido so no need to stock up here.
Emily K — Google review
Awesome fun fairytale like place. For non-paid area, you can take a lot of Instagramable pictures. And there’s a song and show at every hour e.g 1pm, 2pm … For the paid area (8k yen), it was worth paying as I learnt a lot more on chocolate and the brand. On the top, there’s a cafe, drinks and food is ok but the view from the counter chairs is really pretty. It overlook the park and you can see the show at eye level.
Little E — Google review
Shiroi Koibito Park is well known as the home of Hokkaido’s famous cookies, and the inside factory tour and shop are quite fun. However, the outside area feels a little underwhelming—there isn’t too much to see or do, and it can feel a bit boring if you’re just walking around the gardens without joining the indoor activities. The design is pretty with some European-style touches, but overall the outdoor space is quite limited. It’s still worth visiting for the sweets and souvenirs, but if you’re expecting a large park with many attractions outside, it might feel a bit disappointing.

Amato, a charming sweet shop established in 1929, is located in the Otaru Shopping District. The first floor offers signature items like the 'Marron Colon' and various delectable cakes. Upstairs, there's an aromatic coffee shop with a retro vibe. Amato's flagship product is the 'Marron Colon,' which has become a beloved souvenir of Hokkaido since its launch in 1960.

Quite popular amongst the locals. It was authentic and a bit retro. It was too retro for my taste, hence the rating. However, if you dig 70s sweets, this place offers it in spade.
Sho K — Google review
The monkey pastry was tasty, but the real star of what I got was the cheesecake. It's like a hybrid between a New York and a Basque cheesecake. It has the almost chewy crust of a Basque, with the fluffy crumbly creaminess of a New York.

Nestled within the historic Kitaichi Glass No.3 building, Kitaichi Hall offers a unique dining experience that beautifully marries tradition with ambiance. This charming venue is illuminated by an impressive 167 oil lamps, casting a warm glow reminiscent of its origins in glassmaking dating back to 1901. As you sip on delightful coffee or tea and indulge in exquisite cakes and sweets, you'll find yourself enveloped in a romantic atmosphere enhanced by live piano music.
Waited about 20mins weekday 330pm. There is a piano performance inside. order at entrance of cafe and cash payment/Self service. Full marks for the ambience. Kerosene lamp have a smell which may affect some. Tried the Royal milk tea, coffee chiffon cake and royal milk tea soft serve ice cream. All tasted quite delicious and not too expensive.
Ken T — Google review
A charming historical coffee shop with a unique self-service setup. The dessert set is reasonably priced at 1,000 yen. Live piano performances every hour add to the ambiance. The gas lamps create a distinctive and special atmosphere, though they make the place a bit too warm. Highly recommend for a memorable experience!
Francis C — Google review
Difficult to find, a hidden gem and an absolute delight to experience the unique atmosphere. It is self-service, which we found unusual but very pleasant. The cafe is illuminated only by oil laps and it is certainly a unique experience. We had coffee and cake, took in our surroundings and left after 45 minutes. The waft of the oil was just starting to take over our senses. Look for the outside of the building, very easy to walk past.
Cheryl C — Google review
Kita-Ichi Hall in Otaru is a really beautiful spot with a unique atmosphere. The setting with all the old petroleum lamps gives it a slightly mysterious vibe – and even the distinct smell adds to the experience in its own way. We had a couple of desserts and some coffee while we were there. The coffee was unfortunately very burnt and not great, and the desserts were just okay. The service felt a bit rushed. Not rude or anything, just very focused on efficiency – it definitely had that “tourist conveyor belt” vibe, getting people in and out quickly. All in all: amazing atmosphere (5), decent food (3), average service (3). Overall, I’d give it a 4 out of 5 – worth visiting for the vibe, but maybe not for the café experience alone.
Anne L — Google review
Atmosphere is the BEST! Probably one of the most magical coffee shops I’ve visited in my entire life! I was told it had 167 lamps inside lighting the whole place. Coffee is fine!
Karlo — Google review
The royal milk tea is a must to order. The special chiffon cake is dry, probably its not fresh and the pistachio dessert is not too bad, a lil too sweet. great place to chill and take pictures. They do not serve lunch menu during weekdays. Only drinks and desserts
Ellie H — Google review
The signature chiffon cake is dry, zenzai cream is ok. As for the atmosphere… it’s dark alright and there are many oil lamps and there’s a piano…
Hua L — Google review
Very beautiful hall full of oil lamps. The service is a bit rushed to handle the high through put: 1) Find out what to order in the line, 2) Order and pay immediately, 3) Pick up right after and go to your table. It is efficient, but also felt a bit too rushed taking away from the exclusive feeling. The coffee was overheated, and the cake was just decent, but the atmosphere made up for it! So beautiful.

The Rokkatei Otaru Canal Store is a renowned Japanese-style confectionery shop known for its high-quality ingredients sourced from Hokkaido. Located just an 8-minute walk from Minami-Otaru Station, this store offers a wide range of Rokkatei products, including the much-loved 'Marseille Butter Sand' and the famous 'Marseille butter cake.'
The ground floor is their store. Including the candy, chips, chocolate, some are limited edition here (can't get it in the airport!) First floor is their coffee shop with few seats to rest, they also sell Puff.

Papa Says: 👍👍👍+ I'll come to Otaru again to try this cookie fresh. Highly recommended if you're in Sapporo! Chanced upon this pastry shop and was enticed by the "best consumed within 2 hours" sandwich cookie recommendation. I just HAD to try it, and I've got to say that this is hands down the best sandwich cookie I've had in Japan, even possibly my whole life. The cookie was thin, crunchy and the cocoa taste just cut through. As you bite into the cookie, the cheesecake is just the right amount of coldness, and melts as you sink your teeth into it. Devoured the cookie in a minute and it's one of the best delicacies I've had on my Japan trip thus far.

The cream puff is nice! For every cream puff purchased (¥90), you will get one cup of free coffee (cannot refill). There is a place on the 2nd floor for you to eat and drink. We tried the biscuit sandwich of cream with raisins - I would say this is an acquired taste. I like it but my hubby says that it tasted weird.

Ice cream shop
Yamanaka Dairy Farm Otaru Shop offers a unique experience of purchasing local dairy products directly from the farm. The cows are raised in a stress-free environment and fed natural fodder, resulting in high-quality milk used to make their popular soft ice cream. Visitors rave about the rich and creamy texture of the soft serve, as well as the fragrant and refreshing taste of their milk. Some even recommend enjoying a glass of milk after an evening onsen for an authentic Japanese experience.
Another accidental find. It was a super hot day and seeing the ice cream being sold, I had to have one. The regular milk ice cream was very creamy, mildy sweet but also very buttery - dare I say, almost cheesy? It was very rich in milk flavour and definitely not something you can get in North America. All in all, a delicious eat.

This little stand serves amazing ice cream! I’m not an ice cream person but I was going to try it because what I was told about their reputation. They don’t have place to sit except a little bench only accommodate tow people. So Japanese people are force to do unthinkable — eat while walking. It was the best I ever had— honestly.

Really good milk flavor. And as someone who usually gets tired of a large serving, it really wasn’t sweet and I could eat the whole thing easily. Simple yet very satisfying and well executed. Not a bad price at all either

Had some icy bits throughout, disappointing compared to all the other ice cream I've had in Hokkaido. Honestly the free ice cream from the ice cream machine in my hotels lobby in Sapporo tasted better and creamier than this

EKIMO LeTAO is conveniently located just a minute's walk from Otaru Station. The shop offers fancy and beautiful desserts, showcasing the effort and dedication put into their products. A must-try is their exclusive Ogura Pie. While the space is small, the famous double fromage cake impresses with its soft texture and delicious cheese flavor. However, some find the desserts expensive but worth it for their quality. The strawberry tart is recommended for its balanced sweetness and perfect pastry.
Le Tao is a dessert shop that can be found all over Otaru and even in the CTS airport. The Ekimo location is conveniently located in front of Otaru station. We stopped here for ice cream before exploring Otaru. The tiramisu affogato with coffee jelly was a really nice pick-me-up, and quite filling.

DISCRIMINATION! I went to this store with my husband to buy a cake. When we entered the store, there were two parties waiting in front of the cake display. There was no sign as to how the line works, so we each waited on opposite end of the line. After a while, I saw the party next to my husband being served, then later the group next to me being served, so theoretically I would be served next. I almost waved my husband to come over to my side, but glad I didn’t. Not sure since when some people started lining up behind my husband and only one person was lining up behind me. Then a staff member told me and the person behind me to go line up on the other side! If I was lining up wrong, then she should have told the Japanese party to line up on the other side too! I was so mad about their customer service! Glad that my husband was still in line so we were served next, otherwise I would have just left the store.

Love the strawberry tart at this place!! Not too sweet & the pastry is just nice :-) There are many varieties but we can only eat that much so perhaps if there is a next time :-) The only thing not so nice is the coffee as it is a bit diluted…. A bit more coffee powder will be nice :-). Love the ice cream as they are simply smooth & not too sweet 😋😋😋 Dun worry if you miss this one as they have quite a few outlets in Otaru itself :-)

The desserts are delicious but expensive. 3 small bags of cheese biscuits cost 2500yen. Be prepared to pay if you want to try these goodies. We bought the cheese cake, strawberries covered in chocolate and some other chocolates. All were good but expensive. Service was good as staff was friendly, attentive and very polite.

BARNES is a trendy spot known for its soft-serve ice cream featuring creative, seasonal flavors. Situated near the Hokkaido Shrine and Maruyama Zoo, it offers a wide selection of soft creams, including daily varying flavors and seasonal menus like Mango in summer and Rum raisin in winter. Locals love this Sapporo favorite for its specialty soft serve, with the Rum raisin flavor being particularly popular. Additionally, carefully sourced coffee is also available at this modern establishment.
THE BEST AND THE UNIQUE SOFT CREAM. It was similar to a mashmallow mixed soft cream I ate when I was a child. From 460JPY depending on the flavor and the cup or corn types. Its very soft and boundy yet light and tasty. The service is good. On weekend and public holidays you can eat only standing/no chairs.

By far the best soft ice cream in Sapporo. Incredibly friendly staff, too. They only offer 2 flavors, one always being milk, the other a surprise!

When people say "this is the best ice cream I've ever had" they mean it, and so do I. The experience of eating this Hokkaido milk softcream was both wonderful and tragic. I don't know if I'll ever be able to experience it again and I highly doubt anything else will come close. I'll treasure the time I spent here. D Y — Google review
A historical sweets and dessert establishment in the centre of historical Otaru. Like much of Otaru, this store is set up firmly for Japanese tourists. This means most of the products are not presented as fresh, or from a counter, but rather in boxes and plastic wrapping: designed to be taken home as souvenirs. This place also gets very busy. Upstairs is a museum on the history of the dessert company. Downstairs are a range of boxes and packet sweets for sale. A small cafe at the back has tables and chairs and some ‘fresh’ options. The options are coffee, soft serve ice cream, plain and red adzuki bean, and mochi in a red adzuki bean paste, which was chilled when we visited in summer. We tried the red adzuki bean soft serve and the red adzuki bean mochi. Both were fun, good quality, but not quite to our taste. The soft serve was extremely rich and creamy, while the mochi was very sweet. It’s a fun quality place for red bean desserts, but note the richness and sweetness of what’s on offer.
Gereon N — Google review
We ordered pudding, ice cream and red bean soup with rice ball, it was unexpectedly nice! The ice cream is creamy milky delicious, red bean soup is what you need during the cold winter weather. And there’s free toilet! Good place to buy for some local snacks for your home town friends!

Tina C — Google review
This place has the world's second best chocolate cake called "Sylvie". I've had plenty of chocolate cake in my life and my absolute favorite is from Lisbon at Santini but this is very very good. yes the ones from French patisseries are also good like Jean Paul Hevin but this might be even better with the different layors of chocolate mousse and cream filling. We couldn't resist the huge poster and bought one frozen cake to take home but realized we have to make another trip to Otaru so I can buy more. It is not too sweet but sweet enough, not too chocolatety but chocolatey enough, the texture is perfect and the cream is heavenly. Compared to Jean Paul Hevin it is slightly on the sweeter side. After driving 3 hours to Otaru, I bought 3 cakes to be shipped to me and took home one. I shared a tiny bit with my kids and they kept talking about it for days. My youngest had one tiny bite and pushed his plate forward to ask for more already. It is soo sooooo good. It's just the perfect size for about 4 pieces for us, 6 if it is japanese size but honestly I could probably eat the entire cake in one sitting. Yum. Btw letao validates parking for every 2000 yen at the lot when you turn right at the post office near by.

As a melon lover and a soft serve lover. This was definitely a combination of a life time. I loved how sweet both components were! The melon was soooo fresh, and the soft serve was delectable and soooo creamy but not heavy. This was a year and a half ago and i just remembered to review it because i was craving it so bad
Elijah E — Google review
Missed their Furano farm store so was pleasantly surprised they have a branch in Otaru too. Entrance is tricky to find so just look for their signage after entering the Denuki Koji alleyway on the ground floor. Sweet, juicy melons with equally delicious melon flavoured soft serve. They sell smaller portion quarter melon Santa's Beard here too instead of the typical half melon but the cafe is pricier compared to others in the area. They also provide jagged metal teaspoons to eat the melon which is more convenient than blunt plastic spoons. Just a pity they don't sell the melon by itself since the fruit was so sweet that soft serve isn't really necessary.
Sean C — Google review

Nestled in the charming streets of Otaru, Hokkaido Jingisukan Tengu-Maru is a delightful culinary gem that should be on every food lover's itinerary. This cozy eatery specializes in Jingisukan, a traditional grilled lamb dish prepared right at your table over charcoal. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it perfect for an intimate dining experience. Guests rave about the freshness of the ingredients, including vibrant vegetables and succulent meat paired with homemade sauces that elevate each bite.
Simply delicious Ghengis Khan with a homemade sauce. Grilled with charcoal directly at the table. Very friendly owner who makes you feel welcome. Only downside: it is a rather small place, so it might be difficult to accommodate larger groups.
Michael S — Google review
Me and my family stopped here for dinner during the shoulder season so the restaurant was on a quiet side. We were skeptical at first but it was late and many restaurants have already closed so we took a leap of faith and went in. Gotta say we are glad we did as the husband and wife duo were very friendly and welcoming. The food was very tasty and it has a family feel. Recommended. 😁
Su ( — Google review
My husband and I went to this restaurant today to try their lamb , but it was very disappointing. The seating was cramped, and even though there were empty tables inside, we were put in a cold corner near the entrance, sitting awkwardly in an L-shape. At first, we didn’t mind, but when two local Japanese customers arrived, they were seated next to us. Later, when more tables inside became available, the staff offered the better seats to the Japanese customers instead of us, even though we arrived first. This felt disrespectful. The service was also poor. One of the older staff kept calling us “【nationality】+couple” in English, which was uncomfortable and inappropriate. The food was not good either. The dipping sauces, made of grated daikon and garlic juice, tasted bitter and strange. The lamb slices were too fatty, and when we asked which part of the lamb it was, they said it was a mix of all parts rolled together and sliced. Overall, I strongly do not recommend this restaurant. The food and service were both disappointing
Losea B — Google review
Even though we don’t speak Japanese, they made us feel like family at this restaurant. There are seats for 10 next to the counter with the charcoal grills. The set meal came with bean sprouts squash, several different kinds of mushrooms, eggplant and green pepper. Thin slices of lamb on top cooked quickly followed by large chunks of lamb, rolled in rosemary. There was a fabulous homemade dipping sauce. Food and atmosphere were exceptional. We would happily return.
S S — Google review
We really wanted to love this place because the ambiance and the owners were so kind. However, the sushi didn't taste fresh, especially the mackerel. We tried a lot of the classics but none of them were any good

I want to give 6-star... Accidentally stumbled upon this place on one snowy night, trying to find a place to eat in the shopping street (but apparently most were closed because of Christmas Eve), and then the alley looked beautiful so we wanted to take pictures, and saw this place instead. We haven't tried Jingisukan yet so why not! Food is way beyond yummy, fresh vegetables, and just absolutely delicious meat! Traditional style Genhis Khan (jingisukan). If you understand Japanese, the lady will tell you the story of Jingisukan and how her family does it. The sauce is homemade and has been passed for generations in her family - was made from when Jingisukan started coming into Hokkaido etc (that's what I could understand). She does it differently from other chain restaurants because she used the original technique with the meat cuts etc. We had fun there talking to the lady, and the husband was very nice too. We were the only 2 guests there that night so they really welcomed us warmly. She even made calls to her friends to ask which restaurant has good crab/seafood just because we asked her if she knew any place around here for us to go for lunch the next day. She called some people and helped us make a reservation even! Beyond grateful for everything. Would definitely go back. And I will be their marketing ambassador! Hahaha

Discover Uni Labo Hachi, a unique shop that offers an unconventional treat: uni ice cream. Located just a short stroll from Otaru Canal and the Tourist Information Center, this place is renowned for its "raw sea urchin soft serve." While it may seem a bit pricey at 880 yen, the combination of raw sea urchin and soft serve creates an intriguing blend of flavors. Customers have praised the friendly staff who provide valuable sightseeing advice.
We randomly came across this ice cream shop and due to its interesting uni flavored ice cream, we had to try it out! It was definitely an interesting concept. The taste was pretty similar to the vanilla ice cream though. Still recommend it :)

Disappointing Uni Soft Serve As a big uni lover, I was excited to try the uni soft serve after seeing a poster at this store. Unfortunately, it wasn’t great. For ¥880, the soft serve was okay, but the uni didn’t taste fresh or good. The seaweed topping was terrible—I don’t know how else to describe it. Overall, it was a memorable experience, but not in a good way. I wouldn’t try it again.
K S — Google review
Uni and soft serve?!? Sounds weird, and maybe just wrong, so I was very reluctant to try it... So glad I gave it a chance! The uni (mixed-in) and the piece of kombu gave the creamy Hokkaido soft serve this umami, creamy, salty delicious flavor! Granted it was strange, but it actually works! So glad we stumbled upon it. Both my wife and I commented on how we will miss this unique Japanese offering.

LABO HACHI offers something that is unique - sea urchin "uni" ice cream. I found it quite unique and interesting to pair the creamy & briny seafood with ice cream, with shoyu to drip on. Crispy fried seaweed to complete the experience. Others uni related products are on sale too! Must come!

Sawasaki Suisan is a small restaurant located near Otaru Sakaimachi Dori Shopping Street, offering a cozy and intimate dining experience. The seating is arranged around a bar table, allowing guests to observe the skilled chef at work. The menu features delicious dishes such as miso soup, chirashi don, and various sushi options. One of their specialties is the seafood rice bowl filled with fresh crab, shrimp, and scallops that showcase the exceptional quality of the ingredients.
If you’re a seafood lover visiting Otaru, Sawasaki Suisan is a hidden gem you don’t want to miss. This small, unassuming restaurant specializes in fresh, high-quality seafood donburi (rice bowls) that showcase the best of Hokkaido’s bounty. The highlight for me was their crab donburi, featuring sweet, succulent crab meat that practically melts in your mouth. The generous portion of fresh seafood sits atop perfectly seasoned rice, creating a simple yet unforgettable dish. Their menu also offers a variety of other options, from uni (sea urchin) to ikura (salmon roe), all impeccably fresh and full of flavor. Tips: • Arrive early as seating is limited, and it can fill up quickly. • If you’re unsure what to order, go for one of their mixed donburi bowls to sample a bit of everything.

Very iconic area I guess it has become a popular tourist spot the price has been sky rocketing! The seafood is fresh, but the rice bowl seems like a mini version compared to the price. Enjoyed the food tho.. The lady wasn’t really friendly as we have been many places in Japan most of the staff are very polite and soft spoken. But this lady seems like not the friendly category. We came in, sit, eat, pay and left without problem tho, just saw the unpleasant incident that happened to other customers before us which they were asking for warm water for their kids but being told no. Then the customer insisted asking for the water which the lady gave her a glass of tap water. Then the customer ask again which being told no And the other family member ask for the water and being given which the family member then give it to the lady which being refused water. It’s kind of awkward moment for us to see while dining. Cost 9500 yen for these 2 bowls

Sawasaki Suisan in Otaru, is a fantastic spot for seafood lovers. They offer an impressive selection of fresh chirashi bowls, loaded with high-quality, delicious ingredients. Every bite reflects the freshness of the seafood, making it a truly satisfying experience. The friendly and welcoming chef adds a personal touch to your meal, enhancing the overall dining experience. The cozy atmosphere makes it a great place to enjoy authentic local flavors. However, keep in mind they only accept cash payments, so plan accordingly. If you’re in Otaru, this is a must-visit for an unforgettable seafood feast. It’s the perfect spot to savor the best of Hokkaido’s culinary treasures.

Sawasaki Suisan may be small, but it offers an intimate dining experience with most seats arranged around a bar table, providing a front-row view of the skilled chef at work. During my visit, I ordered their special seafood rice bowl, brimming with an array of fresh seafood like crab, shrimp, and scallops. Each bite was a testament to the freshness and exceptional quality of the ingredients. The accompanying miso soup was the perfect warm complement to the meal. The chef was a friendly person and explains to me about the seafood included in my meal. Notably, Sawasaki Suisan operates three establishments within the area and the one I visited was their restaurant No. 1. For those visiting Otaru and love seafood, I wholeheartedly recommend stopping by Sawasaki Suisan.

Omg the food is just so good, I have no complaints. Came here for a quick lunch and the kaisendon is just right in size. I ordered the uni-ikura-kani don that serves a good mixture of texture and umami. Love it!! Oh it also has AC and ice cold water, just right for a stop in a hot summer.

LeTAO Pathos is a renowned brand with three shops located on Sakaimachi Street. The soft and fluffy cheesecakes are a must-try, perfect when paired with freshly brewed coffee or tea. The 1st floor offers popular products like Double Fromage and Hokkaido Jersey Milk Pudding, while the 2nd floor cafe serves original cakes and pasta dishes.
Food was delicious, and the double fromage cake is an absolute must try! The cake is best consumed within 6 hours so not advisable to bring home if you’re a tourist. Each diner needs to order 1 thing to dine in at the restaurant, but desserts count as well (it doesn’t have to be a main). Loved the food so much. Parking is available next to the LeTAO building.

We visited LeTAO PATHOS while strolling through Otaru, and it was everything a dessert lover could hope for. Located along the lively Sakaimachi Street, this spacious flagship outlet offered not only their famous sweets but also a relaxing café space to enjoy them right on the spot. Of course, we couldn’t miss trying their signature Double Fromage Cheesecake—soft, creamy, and absolutely melt-in-your-mouth. We also tried a few of their other pastries and chocolates, and every bite delivered rich flavor without being overly sweet. The presentation was elegant, and you could really taste the quality. Upstairs, the café was cozy and comfortable, with big windows overlooking the charming streets below. It was the perfect spot to rest and indulge after walking around Otaru. Staff were friendly and helpful, offering suggestions and even samples before we made our purchases. This wasn’t just a dessert stop—it was a highlight of our Otaru visit. If you’re in town, don’t leave without stopping by LeTAO PATHOS. You’ll walk out with full bags and fuller hearts.

A delightful place to relax and enjoy sweet treats. Conveniently located along the main shopping street, it’s easy to access while exploring the area. The café has spacious, comfortable seating that’s perfect for taking a break. Their food menu is satisfying, but the highlight is definitely the cakes—especially the Double Fromage cheesecake, which is light, creamy, and unforgettable. The atmosphere is elegant yet cozy, and the service is excellent. A perfect stop for dessert lovers looking to unwind in a charming Otaru setting.

It is funny to decorate the dessert by ourselves, it tastes above average, but not surprisingly good. The coffee and the drinks are average. The coffee shop is spacious and the staff are friendly. It is good to stop by and have a rest if you are tired.

Le Tao is one of the leading confectionary brands in Otaru, constantly innovating and creating new gastronomical masterpieces. Despite its ordinary looks, this was a 10/10 chocolate tart, both on the memorable light pastry and impressive chocolate cream/paste which was light and a hint of ganache.

I've never been a cake person.. but I've got to try the cheese cake given its popularity here in Otaru. And I think it's really good, it's like having 2 layers of cake in there.. the usual and more dense cheese cake at the bottom and a lighter sponge/ cream on top.. its not overly sweet, which is important for me. The accompanying tea was really good as well, no sugar needed.

Popura Farm Cafe is a charming roadside spot with both indoor and outdoor seating. Visitors rave about the Furano melon, which is described as juicy and mildly sweet. The cafe's original milk soft serve is also highly recommended. Some travelers even made a detour just to revisit the farm for its delicious melon ice cream, which they found rich and refreshing. The unique presentation of serving melon ice cream on top of a freshly cut melon has been particularly praised for its creativity and taste.
The place to get your melon fix. Melon ice cream and slices of melon, so fresh and delicious. They specialize in it, so you know they know their melons from lemons. Indoor and outdoor seating. Not much of a view or comfortable seating or free wifi, but it's meant for a quick stop, with plenty of parking, and value for money melons.

This souvenir shop & cafe operates along the national highway in Nakafurano Town. They serve a sweet called "Santa's Beard" here, which is a melon topped with soft-serve ice cream. There are many signs along the road, so it has an impact. The name of this product is probably more noticeable than the name of the store. The name of the shop is so named because the soft-serve ice cream on top of the sliced melon looks like Santa Claus' beard. I visited the store before going to the hot spring next door, because I noticed the impact of the store. However, I am not a big fan of melons, and I had just received a large amount of melons from a friend, so I decided to get a drink this time. This time I ordered a drink called "Blue Pond Cider. Aoi Ike is a famous sightseeing spot in Biei-cho, the next town over from here. The drink is carbonated, so I heard that you have to slowly turn it upside down and mix it evenly before drinking. The taste is more refreshing than it looks. The container has a strange shape, but how do they put the lemon in it? It was a moderately interesting store. If you like melon and soft-serve ice cream, you should definitely try it at least once. The price is high, probably due to the touristy price, so be careful.

Located by the road, they're popular for their melon ice cream dessert which is super yummy. We ordered half of a melon with mixed soft cream, the melon was super sweet and was very delicious. Later we ordered the potato pizza and it wasn't as good as we expected. The potatoes on the pizza weren't cooked well and it was super hard. Some of them were still raw. So come here for the famous dessert and stay away from the pizza, unless they learn how to cook the potatoes properly.

I only had the cream danish and the sausage danish, both were excellent and flakey and I enjoyed them in the cold outside with much delight. Service is always friendly at LeTao stores and it is nice and cosy inside if you get a seat at this one. It is not as busy as its parent store across the street.

We visited this café after stopping by the Otaru Music Box Museum to take a short break with family. The iced Americano and latte were both fine. However, some of the staff were very unfriendly, which made the experience unpleasant. When I asked for a bit of extra water because the coffee was too strong, the staff member just stared at me and handed it over in a very rude manner. Later, when I returned the tray after finishing our food, the same staff kept staring and simply pointed at the trash bin with their finger, then walked away without saying anything. The coffee was okay, but the poor service left a bad impression. If you’re expecting friendly service, I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Not worth the wait in line. 😔 We thought it'd be good because it had a line up. However, we waited about 30 minutes to get inside and the only reason there was a line was because the purchasing of the danishes is extremely inefficient. One employee takes your order, grabs your danishes, gets your drinks, takes payment, etc while the other employees stand behind them doing nothing. The fromage apple pie was nice enough but there were only about 3 slices of apple in it. The fromage danish was ok at best. The hot chocolate was more like a hot milk with only a little bit of chocolate in it.

If you're in search of a unique culinary experience in Otaru, be sure to visit 西川ぱんじゅう店. This quaint little shop offers fluffy and delicious azuki pastries that are best enjoyed hot. The owner takes pride in preparing fresh pastries, ensuring that every bite is a delightful one.
Fluffy and really tasty azuki pastry. Best to eat it piping hot. The owner only prepares food fresh, so you don't have to worry about cold pastry. Have to buy in bundles as the shop does not sell on a per piece basis. The owner seems to a be a little grumpy (or real i.e. being himself if you ask me, instead of putting on a customer service attitude) but I think that is part of the charm of this little place, a refreshing change from the usual high customer service standards receive everywhere.

(Tourists from Hong Kong, early March) Before you visited , please figured out what exactly the cake is. And read some of the reviews here. As one of the comment mentioned, it is a kind of traditional food with some history in Otaru, not supposed foreigner / outsider could really comment on as you did not grow up there. So my comment is just represent a typical innocent tourist. The street was so quite in the Monday afternoon. We first thought this shop was a photo print shop. As it sticked with a lots of stuff on the wall and you could not see any product image on its banner , signs and store front. (Full of questions marks , lol) We peered inside and we knew the owner was making some kind of food. We passed by the second time and saw a Japanese man and a lady purchased inside and chitchatting with the owner. And we visited after they left the store. It’s a kind of cake (pancake) with full of red bean paste filling (so called Imagawayaki? Not sure). It was still warm. The cake is soft and not so thick, in proportion the red bean paste is quite a lot, it taste good yet not so sweet. I read some reviews here that the owner is not nice, in fact the Japanese just visited the shop seems get along with the owner so well. But I do think this guy is unlike other Japanese. We got our cake and left the shop. The Japanese customers just visited were still outside the store and give us a thumb up. And told us the shop almost close. Red bean paste is also widely used in Chinese dessert too. Good to have this warm snack in the winter.

Misono Ice Cream is a charming ice cream parlor with a rich history, dating back almost a century. Despite the slightly higher prices, patrons find the unique flavors and friendly service well worth it. The English menu makes ordering easy for international visitors, adding to the appeal of this Hokkaido gem.

After walking around Otaru Canal, we wanted a little sweet treat and we found this ice cream place in this shopping street and we went up the stairs to the place and it felt like I just entered to someone grandparents house and it felt nice and cozy, the two older folks with not that much English were very nice and we appreciate how hard they were trying to communicate with us. We ordered two sundaes, they are kinda pricey but I overall enjoyed them and when we were ready to pay they were so sweet to us and thanked us and waved us goodbye. I would recommend this place if you’re interested in a retro style atmosphere since the store have been around for 100 years.

As everyone says, the vintage ambiance is the first thing you notice. I was saddened that there aren’t a variety of icecream flavors like the one at the Otaru Neon. Vintage atmosphere, business ran by 2 lovely elders (thus we have to wait a while until the ice cream come to our table). The ice cream is not like the usual ice cream that you eat, I bet you never taste an ice cream like this. It has ginger&honey flavor inside (even though they don't use ginger). The price was a bit expensive though, but I think it was worth the experience.

(Tourist from Hong Kong, early March) I visited 美園 on a Monday afternoon. Otaru was not busy. Only few people on the street. We were attracted by the long history of this ice cream shop which established in 1919. The lady in the shop was very nice. Always with smile in her face. The shop has English menu. We ordered a pudding sundae and coffee sundae. The ice cream texture is between soft served and sand ice. The flavor including the taste of milk and yogurt (I actually mean Yakult), and there should be honey and some flavor like ginger and lemon peel by guess. I pretended to be the owner and joked to my boyfriend the ingredients are actually secret. After that we read a Chinese interview showing on the table mentioning exactly what i was saying. Lol. My sundae also with melon juice in it. Which melon flavor in Hokkaido is so popular and the taste is so good! (In fact the Yaburi melon is so famous and precious) The menu was written in Chinese characters which were probably the translation in the old days. In a very different way. If you know Chinese you could tell how interesting it is. Overall is a good place that I highly recommended. It is uneasy to run a business for so long. You should get to know about their history and the history of Otaru.

This unique ice cream shop offers a wide range of homemade flavors, including some unconventional options like Squid Ink and Sea Urchin. Visitors are drawn to this establishment for its unusual and adventurous ice cream offerings.
Great experience, not just they sold 'unique' flavor (Squid ink, Sea Urchin, natto) here but it's surprisingly taste great! They are not far from the main road but it's quiet easy to miss the lane they are on.

If you've ever craved Squid Ink or Sea Urchin-flavored Ice Cream, be sure to visit Kita no Ice Cream Yasan Shop. They have homemade ice cream in a wide variety of flavors, but I came to try their two more famous and stranger tastes. While the Squid Ink tasted a hint like Sea Salt and Charcoal, the Uni was surprisingly creamy and delicious with actual urchin bits! 😋

This ice cream shop serves unique flavours like sea urchin and squid ink flavours. The quality of the ice cream is okay at best, but the unusual flavours are not particularly pleasant. I wouldn’t come here again if I had the choice. However if you want to say you have had sea urchin ice cream then you should visit.

It's not bad. Mister Donut is a fairly known donut franchise in Japan, mostly known by fans of the 物語 series. As for whether it'll live up the serie's exaggerated donuts, well it's a miss. There's definitely good stuff here; the mochi donuts are my personal favorite since they have that chewy bite and variety of flavors to go through. If you're really hungry, they do ramen and pasta dishes too, although it feels like there are better nearby spots for those cravings. I can't say that this is a must-stop spot, but if you're hungry for a sweet treat, this'll do the trick. It's conveniently right across the street from the Otaru station.

I have never had such an amazing donut shop experience. Fresh donuts with local flare. Japanese donuts are so much more oishi since there is not so much sugar or preservative. Thank you Mister Donut for a delicious snack. Wish we could take you home overseas.

Friendly staff who is able to communicate in simple English. Pictured menu makes ordering easy. We arrived at 2:30pm and lunch is already over, so we ordered the cake and coffee set. The cakes are delicious and not too sweet. Coffee is nice and the view is fantastic.

This time I was drawn to the summer poster above my head... Misono has a long history. Unfortunately, what I always think about is the unfriendly attitude of the store staff. When a customer comes to the store, they immediately stop what they're doing in the back and come out to the store to say, "Welcome," but it conveys an attitude that says, "Please decide quickly." It's been a long time since I've been home, so I'm sorry for worrying about what I wanted to eat lol I forgot that there was a separate place to throw away my cups and other trash after I finished eating, so when I asked, ``That's over there💢.'' I'm sure I was always asked that question, so I guess I got annoyed and thought, ``Here we go again.'' If you get annoyed by being asked this every time, just write something like ``Put your trash over there'' next to the cash register in big letters lol. It's a mystery why I can't at least smile and say "thank you" when handing over items. When I was 19 years old and working as a manager at a very famous tourist store in Otaru, I said, ``Tourists save money and come to Otaru to have fun. And she's definitely smiling (passing on her late mother's teachings).'' I also learned from a senior store manager that it's natural for store managers to be hated. As long as you are working, you should not show your personal feelings lol …Nowadays, this becomes power harassment… “Learn from your back” Showa era was good…lol 🍨 Founded in 1919, when the Taisho romantic port town of Otaru was thriving with foreign culture, ``Misono'' sold Hokkaido's first ice cream. 🍨The retro and nostalgic taste remains the same as back then, and the unique refreshing flavor is all produced naturally and is said to be ``low fat, no coloring, and no additives.'' 🍨Gelato has a texture that is half and half like ice cream. 🍨 There are also several eat-in seats in front of the store and alongside. 🍨 Is the card only for Aeon? Sa Wa Wa is a Japanese matcha sweets restaurant located on the street of Sakaimachi. Despite the long queue, visitors are drawn to its delicious matcha ice cream and matcha mochi, as well as other delectable desserts available on the shelves. The rich and intense flavor of their matcha treats makes it a must-visit for any matcha lover strolling along the main street.
Wow. I’m stunned and surprised how good the ice cream is. I went with the full flavoured version and if you’re a lover for matcha then you will not be disappointed. That intense matcha flavour with that signature Hokkaido full cream dairy ingredients is a lethal and winning combination. The queue here can be pretty intense here but it’s so worth it. Also took home a box of matcha mochi and that was also a home run. They accept credit cards.

If you don’t stop by this place, it’s like you haven’t truly been here. The matcha powder they use is top quality and I’ve never find at any places around this city, and also the soft serve — both the matcha and hojicha flavors — was absolutely delicious. The desserts were just as impressive. Everything matcha-related here is simply amazing!

Small store provided Okoicha & warabi. It's soft served with warabi . . . So yummy. There have only warabi and a bit snack for sell. Macaron was delicious with hightly matcha taste & smell so good but to me it's too sweet probably it's a basis taste of macaron. Matcha powder was pretty good but less smell and weak taste due to instant powder.

Cake Shop Yakata Otaru Main Shop offers a diverse selection of cakes, including strawberry sponge, apple tart, and chocolate bombe. Customers highly praise the quality of tea and coffee served alongside these delectable treats. The café's interior exudes a delightful retro charm, with classical music playing in the background. It provides a truly old-fashioned experience, except for its super-fast Wi-Fi connection. The ambience is cozy and comfortable, particularly during cold weather.
Yakata is a dessert shop with plenty of cakes and tarts to pick from. There’s ample seating inside. Seats are red velvet and very comfy. Feels like a cute yet extravagant cafe. We ordered a cake and drink set. Iced coffee was smooth and pretty good. The strawberry shortcake was not bad. However, cake itself wasn’t as fluffy as I had hoped. The berries were good though!

I went there with plenty of time, so I arrived 12 minutes before opening, but I was very happy when the store staff came out and greeted me with a smile, saying "We're ready, so you can come in!" I couldn't buy much because my house is far away and I had plans to go out to eat afterwards, but both the pudding daifuku and the pudding were delicious! This year, I finally revisited and tried their desserts, and they truly lived up to their reputation! The milk pudding was rich and smooth, melting in your mouth; the daifuku was soft and chewy, yet sweet without being cloying; and the dorayaki paired perfectly with the red bean paste. The care put into each item was palpable, and it was a truly delightful experience. This dessert shop is definitely worth a special visit. When I ate it for the first time a year and a half ago, it had a strong salty taste that I had never experienced with other Daifuku, and I had the strange impression that it was sweet but salty. This time I went back and bought it again, and perhaps because it was my second time, it didn't taste as salty as the first time, and it was delicious with a salty taste that brought out the sweetness. I usually go around 8 o'clock, but sometimes some items are sold out and unavailable at that time, so if you want to compare all the products, I recommend going early in the morning. Mame Daifuku has a soft rice cake with lots of beans in it, and the slightly salty strained bean paste inside goes perfectly with the bean paste, so even though I'm not a big fan of sweet things, I can eat it without getting bored. It's famous among people from outside the city, but it's a small shop that you might miss if you're not a local, and many people give up on buying it because it sells out almost in the morning, so it's a great souvenir. In early spring, they sell seasonal strawberry daifuku (300 yen), which was also very popular due to its large volume. It's a funny reason that it was chosen as a snack by Fujii player 😀 This is a long-established Japanese sweets store that has been around since the Meiji era! Having said that, even though I'm from Otaru, I still wonder if there was a Japanese sweets shop over there...m(_ _)m The location is on a very shady street 💦 Tarudora was delicious! Other sweets are relatively affordable; dorayaki costs 163 yen. But Tarudora is 324 yen! (with glutinous chestnuts) The diameter is half that of dorayaki...so it's so expensive! That's what I thought, but after eating it I was convinced! The bean paste is not the bean paste of sweets, but the bean paste of Japanese sweets! The elegant and exquisite ratio of strained bean paste and grained bean paste and the sweetness, chestnuts and mochi are all elegant and well-balanced! Please give it a try! In addition, the ``Raw Caramel Daifuku'' that I purchased together is sold frozen. It says to defrost at room temperature for 30 to 60 minutes, and I thought, ``Wouldn't it be more delicious if it's cold, like Yukimi Daifuku?'' I ate it in 30 minutes, but...I found out that ``the fresh caramel was melty'' and ``raw milk and lots of butter.'' If you want to feel it, I recommend that you melt it in your eyes😀 (Original)

The door is also manual, and when you enter the store, a staff member comes from the back and takes your order quickly. I have a point card. This was my first visit after reading the reviews. The cakes in the hall are also very cute and decorated to reflect the uniqueness of the store, and even if it's a sudden celebration, it's a design that even children would be happy to buy if they buy a cake from here. . I bought the most popular strawberry tart, Gateau Chocolat after reading the reviews. You'll be right if you buy your cake here! The strawberry tart is not too sweet, but the tartness of the strawberries is not too strong either, and it blends perfectly with the custard and tart below. The gateau chocolat looks like it has so much chocolate that you wonder if it's possible to eat something so sweet, but it's neither bitter nor too sweet, it's exquisitely crafted, and it's amazing how you can eat it with ease. Walked past after lunch and it was the summer, and what better way to cool down other than an amazing Strawberry Milk! Its Hokkaido, and you already know their milk is of international proper standard. You add in Japanese standard of strawberry you tell me how amazing can that actually be? I can tell you, its to the point where you'll shake out every last bit of the strawberry that type. Every other item is done proper and well too; the family devoured them all so quickly and mind you this is right after lunch so you can imagine how good it is! Gochizosama deshita!

I have always been intrigued by Hiranopan Hanazono bakery due to its panda theme. Finally, I had the opportunity to visit today. Although I arrived late in the afternoon, there were still some bread options available. Among my purchases were sugar croissants, chocolate chip melon bread, and donuts - all reasonably priced. I particularly appreciated the generous size of their croissants.
I love the smiling bread decorations on the window on this well stocked, well priced bakery - I have to give them bonus points for that. ;) The different types of sweet bread are simple yet tasty. - Mimi's Cake Tour

This is a good old-fashioned bakery with a stable and delicious selection of sweet breads. The fried bread in particular soaks up the oil, and when you bite into it, the taste of sugar and a little salt spreads in your mouth, making it so delicious that you get addicted to it. That's why the bean paste donuts and cream donuts are so delicious.

(Translated by Google) When I arrived at the store at 6:05 p.m., even though the store's door opening hours were set at 7 p.m., they didn't change the door and turned me away quickly saying, "Excuse me! Lately, it's open until 6 p.m.! Thank you again!" It was. I haven't put away the goodwill, and I haven't fixed the time. I wish I had gone to the trouble. I only had bread and a little bit, and I wish they had sold me that.
