Rokkatei Sapporo Main Store is a renowned confectionary company located in Hokkaido, known for producing a wide variety of Japanese and Western-style sweets. The brand is closely linked to Hokkaido, sourcing top-quality ingredients from local farms and the dairy industry. Rokkatei's sweets are popular souvenirs for visitors to Hokkaido due to their association with the snowy northern island and their elegant packaging, making them a sought-after gift.
very famous for desserts and sweets this brand is over one hundred years old The cafe won second floor was very airy and pleasant . For birthday celebration you get a free drink and cake and the whole staff will sing and clap with you and there were quite a few celebratory applauses. Cheesecake and ice shavings with jam both recommended
Wing A — Google review
This is my first visit to this famous sweets souvenir shop. I went to second floor directly because I wanted to try dine in experience. Unfamiliar with the setup I went to a more express casual tables with simple menu. I ordered an ice cream sandwiches and a steamed scallop bun with coffee. It cost about 810 yen. Normally I am not a fan of sweets but contrary to my expectations I liked it although scallops bun was savory. Very fresh and flavorful. Afterwards I went downstairs to purchase souvenirs. I bought some caramel rice crackers some hard candy in a beautiful tin case etc. They were all beautifully wrapped. Sweets were about 4000 yen.
Satsuki H — Google review
The cafe upstairs offers a charming selection of dainty pastries that are as visually delightful as they are enjoyable to eat. It was a little bit sad since we specifically went there that morning to try their hot chocolates, but it wasn't available. The first floor of the store has all the Rokkatei items you can buy. While many of their treats impressed us, not everything was to our taste. For instance, the popular Butter Sand felt a little too sweet for our liking, and the mochi, though soft, was rather bland and underwhelming. However, their chocolates were excellent.
Katrina L — Google review
The ice cream raisin dessert was iconic, definitely worth a try. The pancake and the cheese cake are above average. The drinks are so so. We had queued for over an hour for a table, the atmosphere is quiet and it is like eating in a garden.
Anne P — Google review
The main store for Rokkatei in Sapporo. Cafe is on the second floor while the shop is on the ground level. Tables are widely spaced out, giving the privacy that each customers need. They serve simple fare here and highly recommended are the pizzas and the Marusai ice cream. Pizza crust is chewy and fluffy. Marusai ice cream has a rum raisin taste. Expect wait at the cafe. However, you can choose to shop at while waiting for your number to be called.
Wendy K — Google review
They forgotten our orders. We are the first few who ordered at around 1040am but after 30mins of waiting, our food is not here. Upon asking, they told us that they need another 30mins to prepare our food and drinks. This is totally not acceptable as other who came later than us had already finished their meal and left. Our food that we ordered doesn't require lots of time to prepare, which makes us think they forgotten our order. Other than the service, 5stars for their food. Sweetness level is perfect. Baguette filling is cheezy n juicy. Too bad the filling is slightly too little. Clam Chowder is mind blowing. Rich and creamy. Clam fully absorbed the richness of the soup. Sliced almond gives a luscious taste to the rich and flavourful hot chocolate. Sweetness is made to perfection. Prepacked souvenirs with different combinations at an affordable price. Do take note of the expiry date as I believed not much preservative are used. Which is good
Pi E — Google review
Tried the signature Marusei Ice Sand at Rokkatei. Even though I’m not a big fan of raisins, I really enjoyed it—the balance between the ice cream and the biscuits was excellent, and it wasn’t overly sweet. This special item isn’t displayed at the counter, so you have to ask the cashier, who will take it out from the fridge behind them.
Johnny K — Google review
The queue at the front was a giveaway that something was going on inside. Doors open at 10 am at this shop, and within 5 minutes the store is packed with shoppers snapping up the biscuits and goodies on offer. The cafe on level 2 is very nice and relaxed. The Marusei butter sandwich, cream cheese sandwich and mixed bean bread were all lovely.

LeTAO's Main Store is a must-visit for fans of the brand, featuring a striking western-style tower. In addition to their standard cakes and baked goods, the store offers exclusive items like the Deux Fromage Roll, a delightful cake made by rolling baked cheesecake and cream cheese in a fluffy sponge cake. Another highlight is the limited-edition Double Fromage cheesecake, which incorporates a special variety of pumpkin from Hokkaido for a unique flavor.
Good. Good. Good. Absolutely good. Even excellent. The staff are all very nice and friendly. The cake is also very sweet and had a lot of fruit and flavour. It has free candles and you can customise your chocolate for free. I have no bad things to say about this.

The airport doesn’t sell slices so you can get a single cheesecake slice from here which I find better than a whole cake because a full cake is frozen.
Hussain W — Google review
The creamy cheesecake consists of four layers therefore four stages of great pleasure. A must try! The strawberry cake was so light that I had no effort gobbling down both of them!

Tried the strawberry shortcake- Good fluffy, light, and sweet sponge that melts in your mouth. Goes well with their light and milky cream with the perfect amount of sweetness. Yummy!

Probably the best Japanese cheesecake I've ever had, would definitely visit again

5 stars for the cheesecake and Swiss roll! Missed out in Otaru but glad we managed to get it when we arrived at Sapporo Station. Be patient and leave your confectionary to thaw for a 8 hours as recommended though. We ate it within the hour and had really good ice cream as opposed to cake. This didn't do it justice though as when we ate our leftovers the next day, it was so much softer and even more amazing!

Shiroi Koibito Park in Sapporo is a family-friendly destination that offers a variety of activities and attractions. Visitors can enjoy chocolate and cookie samples, explore exhibits showcasing the making of the famous Shiroi Koibito sweets, and even take a train ride through the park's garden area. The park also features a chocolate factory tour, cooking workshops, shops, cafes, and restaurants.
We didn't want to go here, but we're so glad that we did. Neither my wife nor I are great fans of sweets, but her family love them so we thought we should go here to buy some gifts. This was an excellent decision. We only visited the extensive free areas so cannot speak for the paid ones, but we had a wonderful time (aided in no small part by fantastic weather) and would definitely recommend that others also visit, whether they like sweets or not. The park is beautiful in a kitsch mock-european fashion with pleasant gardens full of roses. The animatronic displays were entertaining, and the park was spotlessly clean. When we visited, it was nearly October so the Halloween decorations were already out and appropriate music was being piped throughout the park. The shops were well played out and the produce was of a good quality. We enjoyed an ice cream and we're especially pleased by the customised biscuit tins that we were able to buy and which were ready in just 30 minutes. It was great to be able to buy so many gifts in one place saving us from having to constantly carry presents everywhere else we went during our trip.
Richard S — Google review
It’s such a beautiful place! I visited in mid-October, right in the middle of autumn. The gardens were decorated with colorful flowers in full bloom, and the weather was just perfect. If you don’t plan to visit any of the special exhibition rooms, there’s no entrance fee — just strolling around, taking photos of the rose garden, fountains, and stunning architecture already makes the trip worth it. You only need to pay a small parking fee, which isn’t expensive at all. When you get tired from walking, there are also tasty food and drinks available to enjoy.
Indira J — Google review
Wow, what a fun place! And it only gets better if you love chocolate. The open area is already so lovely, well kept, and enjoyable even without having to pay for admission into the park proper. But it's well worth it to pay the small admission price to see the chocolate museum and factory inside! I enjoyed the "time travel" presentation, and the Halloween theme during our visit. It's such an enjoyable visit that should last at least a few hours Pro tip: watch the clock tower at the top of every hour!
Eric — Google review
For a chocolate factory there are 2 products both are covered in so much biscuit you'd be surprised this isn't a biscuit factory. The story is cute and the garden is lovely, the garden is accessible for free and so is the shop and some lovely areas. Having been to bournville in the UK when it was UK owned and again when US Kraft owned it it's going a bit rubbish but is still about 100x more entertaining than this place. Recommended for if you like some superficial nonsense for your overpriced products. But if like me you were hoping to get some chocolate from a chocolate factory give it a swerve. Or just enjoy the English sort of aesthetic of the place and the garden but know the smell of chocolate will leave you deeply disappointed and needing to visit a shop for a proper chocolate experience
Steven H — Google review
A wonderland that is both interesting and romantic. The ticket is 800 yen for adults, tourists can get access to the main building by the ticket. The main building, mostly telling stories about the history of making chocolates and the founder of this factory, is magic. And tourists can also learn how to make chocolates and cakes here. And the most impressive part I’ve learned today is that ‘white lover’ is named because the snow in Hokkaido is beautiful so that the founder’s father called it ‘white lover’. The dessert on the top of the factory was just splendid! with good view by the window, a perfect experience! Highly recommended!! And if you don’t buy tickets, the free area is also amazing, like a magic garden in a fairy tale. It’s a pity that we didn’t get enough time today, maybe next time when I come with my child, I’ll spend a whole day here!
Liz L — Google review
Highly recommend to visit in October. The park is decorated for Halloween. We paid ¥800 to tour inside which was interactive for children as well. The factory view from above was very interesting. There are also plenty of photo spots and even a ¥300 camera from above photo spot in the courtyard. We purchased customised 36-biscuit tin and magnet from the Piccadilly shop downstairs in the main building and it was ready after a 30 wait. There are some shop exclusive items, however, the biscuits are standardised price across all gift shops in Hokkaido so no need to stock up here.
Emily K — Google review
Awesome fun fairytale like place. For non-paid area, you can take a lot of Instagramable pictures. And there’s a song and show at every hour e.g 1pm, 2pm … For the paid area (8k yen), it was worth paying as I learnt a lot more on chocolate and the brand. On the top, there’s a cafe, drinks and food is ok but the view from the counter chairs is really pretty. It overlook the park and you can see the show at eye level.
Little E — Google review
Shiroi Koibito Park is well known as the home of Hokkaido’s famous cookies, and the inside factory tour and shop are quite fun. However, the outside area feels a little underwhelming—there isn’t too much to see or do, and it can feel a bit boring if you’re just walking around the gardens without joining the indoor activities. The design is pretty with some European-style touches, but overall the outdoor space is quite limited. It’s still worth visiting for the sweets and souvenirs, but if you’re expecting a large park with many attractions outside, it might feel a bit disappointing.

Nestled beneath an office building in the bustling Sapporo Underground Pedestrian Space, Ishiya Cafe is a delightful haven for dessert lovers. This charming spot is operated by Shiroi Koibito, renowned for their iconic white chocolate and wafer biscuits that are beloved throughout Hokkaido. At Ishiya Cafe, you can indulge in fluffy pancakes and towering parfaits adorned with their signature soft serve ice cream, all while sipping on a comforting hot chocolate or refreshing matcha tea.
Highly recomment if you visit Sapporo. The pancake itself should be a tourist attraction. LoL.. The 600-yen morning set was superb. The cake is not to sweet, which I like. The set includes with a variety of toppings allowing to enjoy the fluffy sponge cake in a different way, each bite.
Ratchanee R — Google review
Ishiya is another chocolate company in Hokkaido, known for their amazingly delicious Koibito cookies. These cookies are probably the single most popular gift souvenir (omiyage) people buy and bring home from the area, so they're known all over Japan. Ishiya also runs a famous little cafe in Sapporo as well, serving all manner of sweet treats like parfaits and dessert pancakes. Given that I wasn't particularly hungry, I just opted for their Koibito Soft Serve and their White Chocolate Latte. While the latte was good, it was nothing particularly amazing, but that soft serve (more commonly called "soft cream" here) was absolutely sweet and perfectly captured the essence of their cookie namesake. If you need a break from the cold, Ishiya Cafe is highly recommended.
William T — Google review
This place has great atmosphere. Free WiFi. The food was delicious for our morning breakfast. Hot cakes with whipped cream and berries with peach tea. Husband got the egg sandwich and coffee. All was very delicious! It is a self service meaning you seat yourself and order at the register. You receive your drinks and the corner with a number stand. They will deliver your food to your seat and take the number back. Ordering in English was fairly easy to communicate via pointing on the menu what we wanted. So if nervous about eating at a place without much/if any English on the menus, please do not stray away. I think you'll love it here. 😁
Virginia P — Google review
Pros: The location is wonderful for winter since it’s tucked way in the underground walkway between Sapporo and Odori station. There was a lot of seating and spacious But their pancakes just weren’t that great. They were more like a dense sponge cake than a fluffy pancake. They stand up beautifully and not jiggly at all. Also, the portion is quite big. One pancake is enough for one person I think. Two pancakes (one order is two pancakes) can be shared quite easily between two people.
Jenny L — Google review
Located along the subway underpass and has a pleasant ambience! Tried the pancakes with maple syrup and it was not as fluffy or light as soufflé-style pancakes, but it was still an enjoyable treat with melted butter and syrup. Expect a more dense, cake-y pancake here.
Claudia N — Google review
I was dissapointed that their affordable morning set menu was not available anymore. I was not able to finish their big serving of plain hotcakes (good for two IMO, but expensive for solo travelers). Tastewise, it is more into a pound cake consistency so it was a bit heavy.
DJJ — Google review
This is one of the top breakfast cafes you need to visit while you’re in Sapporo. It’s located on basement L2 of a building (underground tunnel that connects to Sapporo JR and subway line). The breakfast morning set that you must try costs ¥600, which includes a 12cm pancake that looks like a Hokkaido cheesecake, yogurt, salad with ham and a hot drink of your choice such as coffee, tea or corn soup. Please note, if you choose tea or coffee you will get a complimentary shiroi koibito white chocolate langue de chat cookie, corn soup does not come with one. The pancake is light and fluffy and together with corn soup fills you up for the entire morning. Black shiroi coffee is nothing special and with most black coffee in japan they taste terrible. Delicious breakfast for great price, definitely must try!

Snow Brand Parlor Sapporo Flagship Shop is a renowned coffee shop located just a short walk from the south exit of Sapporo Station. It's famous for its wide variety of desserts, including over 30 types of sweets like parfaits and ice cream. One of their specialties is the enormous Dream Jumbo Parfait, which features an array of ingredients such as fruit, cake, baumkuchen, and ice cream.
One of the oldest dessert places in Sapporo. Located almost across the Clock tower. Great place just to get dessert, coffee, and tea. They also have a souvenir store inside. Can buy to go ice cream but since we are in Japan, they do have a small sitting area to finish it off. There are some cool gachapon as well. We sat inside and enjoyed a matcha affogato and parfait. Both were delicious. They have an English menu but pictures are great so you can just point if you get a non English speaking server. Google translate is so helpful to communicate as well. Must get a Hokkaido milk ice cream. Just an observation, I have no issue with lactose intolerance in Japan. That tells you something- natural/organic way they treat their plants and animal. Highly recommended for a quick pit stop on busy days touring.
Raoul T — Google review
While doing my research for Sapporo one of the desserts that kept getting mentioned was Hokkaido soft cream. Snow Brand Parlor was close enough to the area I’d be walking around. The parlor was mostly full as I was visiting around noontime on a Monday. I placed my order and it arrived pretty quickly. The melon ice cream was delicious. It easy to see why it gets praised so much. The creaminess and softness was more noticeable compared to other ice creams I’ve tasted before. Overall I had a great time at Snow brand’s flagship store.

Jancy L — Google review
The place is very nice, there is a shopping area and a meal area where you can sit and order from a very beautiful menu all kind of ice creams that you want. The issue that I noticed was into the menu: there wasn't any indication of the weight of the ice cream only the price and a picture. There's no reason to not put the the weight in grams, since it's the very first indication of ho much big the ice cream is. The other star that didn't make it is about the staff. Some of them were gentle and kind, but the girl that served us was very cold and unfriendly. Also the cashier wasn't very welcoming. Also the ice cream wasn't nothing special. Fortunately we took the soft cream simple ice cream and that was the only nice dessert that we could appreciate.

When in Sapporo, Hokkaido. You must visit Snow Brand Parlor Main Store. A dream paradise for every dessert lover. The store specialise in Parfait. I did my research online for the trip and happen to chance upon it. So I tell myself I must come here try the No. 1 Parfait because the image they present is so nice. I am a NO. 1 parfait(¥4760) where it can feed 2 to 4 people, me go solo. 😂😂😂 Take me about an hour plus to finish it & it got me tastisfying food coma. The parfait consist of various scoop of ice cream they available, melon, preserved & fresh fruits, cream, cornflake and biscuits. Disappointed that the melon doesn't taste as good. Advise: Do not eat alone unless you are black hole. Note: If you think No. 1 is small, they got 2 more other bigger than this. Do check their Web if interested. http://www.snowbrand-p.co.jp/index.html

An old, simple and tidy shop for some traditional ice cream dessert. I tried the スノーロイヤル (snow royal) which is vanilla ice cream coffee set that served royal family first time in 1968. Simple and delicious. The parfait comes with different choices, recommend those come with seasonal fruit
Kenneth L — Google review
Very flashy parfaits and desserts. Good for your Instagram reel, but the taste was nothing special - for their prices, I was hoping for something a little better. The service wasn't so great either - the waitress definitely did not want us there. If you're going to Hokkaido to experience their dairy (and ice cream), you can probably skip this place.

Saera Coffee & Sandwiches has been a staple in Sapporo since 1975, located in the tunnels beneath Odori station. It's a popular spot for city workers to grab a delicious sandwich at lunchtime. The menu offers options like the fruit sandwich with whipped cream and the red king crab salad sandwich, which are highly recommended. The fruit sandwich is particularly favored by male patrons for its balanced sweetness.
Amazing sandwiches in a cute little hidden cafe. We tried the shrimp cutlet and vegetable sandwich, smoked salmon and potato salad and all fruit sandwich. All were delicious. Please note, that each sandwich has two pairs of flavors and one sandwich pair is good enough for one person. The king crab sandwich is highly recommended, we couldn’t try it as it was sold out by the time we arrived. The staff told us to come by 12pm to try the king crab sandwich.
Sangeeta C — Google review
An extremely Japanese cafe and sandwich experience. The sandwiches are the highlight as this traditional and small basement venue. You choose from an extended menu of unique sandwich options. This includes Japanese experiences like fruit. The sandwiches are served on thick sweet white bread with the crusts remove and take quite a while to be prepared to order. The sandwiches are small, light, sweet and airy. For my palate, they are a bit plain and unsatisfying. I’d probably need 10 plates to actually fill up on them! Note some rules, like 1 item per customer. It’s also very popular here so you may need to wait for a table. We tried the crab sandwich and egg sandwich. It was tasty enough, high quality, and fresh ingredients. Overall it’s a unique experience worth having while in Sapporo:

A little bit difficult to find from street level but well worth the hunt!! Absolutely best sandwiches I have had in Japan. The melon sandwich was so fresh and juicy, delicious!! This place is a must stop on a hot day. Closed on Wednesdays, opens at 10am. Please visit here! The service was lovely and extremely welcoming. Highly recommend
Tania A — Google review
I loved this place so much I came back two days in a row! Saera Coffee and Sandwiches serves some of the best sandwiches I’ve had in Japan. On my first visit, I tried a seasonal combo of Yubari melon and ebi fry (fried shrimp) sandwiches—and it was unforgettable. Even though the melon portion was small (just three pieces), the quality was outstanding: perfectly ripe with a delicate fragrance, smooth texture, and just the right amount of sweetness. The ebi fry was fantastic too—warm, crispy, and full of flavor. Combined with the soft, fluffy bread, it was a perfect bite. If I ever visit Sapporo again, I’ll definitely be back to try their snow crab salad sandwich. Highly recommended spot for sandwich lovers!
Borwornsuk V — Google review
A very cozy cafe which serves wonderful fruit sandwiches and crab sandwiches. The tables are not too crammed and the environment is relaxing. I personally prefer the fruit sandwiches which consist of cream of rich milk flavour and sweet and fresh fruits, though the crab sandwiches are more popular. The staff are extremely friendly. Their most popular item (crab and menchi sandwich) indeed lives up to its name. The deep fried minced meat cutlet was super crispy and the crab flakes were well seasoned! Must try!!

The sandwich is excellent! We got the king crab, fruits and prawn sandwich, very nice! The service is also excellent, very friendly to foreigners! If you are here around the park, must try!

Every sandwich can be mixed with another filling so you get a lot of choices. What stood out for me was the corn croquette and ebi fillings. If there are a lot of customers, be prepared to wait for your food though. Mine came after 20 mins upon ordering.

Nice and cozy cafe. The staff is friendly and attentive, she recommend favorite dish and make suggestions based on our preferences. The menu is full of delicious options for desserts.

Last week both my wife and I separately visited the Maruyama Shop, and the kindness of the staff comes close to the fabulous flavors of their cakes and cookies. My wife uses a cane and after shopping, asked where the best spot to catch a cab was. Rather than simply telling her, one of the clerks went out and hailed a cab for her. On another trip I went into the store on a rainy day just as the skies opened. When I started to leave one of the clerks handed me an umbrella. I explained it would be a day or two before I could return it, and she replied, when I had time was fine. My wife grew up about 3 blocks from this shop, and we have been going there on all of our visits from the states. Can't wait until Rokkatei bring their great products and service to the USA. Go to this store and get your heart and stomach filled with goodness.

Kinotoya is a renowned pastry shop in Sapporo, offering a variety of European-style cream cakes, desserts, and ice cream alongside savory light bites and coffees. Known for its semi-cooked cheese tarts made with three types of cheese including Hokkaido's Hakodate light cheese, Betsukai heavy cheese, and French salted cream cheese, Kinotoya has gained popularity for these delectable treats.
Kinotoya Cafe absolutely blew me away. I came by one evening and they were out of the famous cheese tarts—so I left empty-handed. The next day, on my way to the bus station, I swung back in and scored the last two of the day… and thank God I did. These cheese tarts are on another level—easily one of the best things I’ve ever tasted. I paired them with the drinkable raw milk yogurt, which was the perfect combo—slightly sour, not too sweet, and made with fresh, local raw milk. You can taste the quality in every bite and sip. In my week and a half traveling Japan, this was the best dessert I’ve had. Do not miss it—trust me, I’m American. Came back for the Cheesecake Tart and try the other desserts. Everything was good. Not too sweet. The Cheesecake Tart and the Soft Milk Ice cream are still to die for. But in term collective desserts, the one that we had yesterday was amazing. This came a bit short overall. The Strawberry Shortcake and The Melow were good. The milk has a different flavor. Not a fan of it. I had too much expectation for the Hokkaido milk. Maybe at a different spot.
Sagita S — Google review
The cheese tart is really light with a lovely crust. Also tried the cream puff. The filling flows out easily. Taste is good. The Ice cream parfait with berries is amazing. Love the light creamy taste that’s not too sweet. The Cheese tart is very reasonably priced at 297 Yen. Will come back. The surroundings and atmosphere is lovely. Great place to rest n relax.

Was lucky to get a seat on a weekday 5pm. Some of the cakes have been sold out. Cheese tart was creamy and not too sweet. Ice cream was also milky and tasted like it was out from the farm. Slightly more expensive than the other ice cream store within the same area but their portion is huge.
Ky Y — Google review
Cheese tart was nice, I like it better than the one from Sapporo Agricultural College. The base was a crunchy cookie type base. (The one from Sapporo Agricultural College was soggier.)
K S — Google review
Cheese Tart was absolutely delicious with the perfect texture and the berry in the middle was a cheeky surprise. Well worth the price! The soft serve was quite underwhelming as I had expected more of a milky flavour. Kind of reminded me like the soft serve at McDonald’s.

Great spot for a sweet tooth. Quite packed during tea time but always a seat available! Service as usual is very respectful. Staff try to interact in English with me. Everything looks fresh and yummy. Tryed the strawberry pudding topped with hokkaido milk soft serve. It was really good, well balanced in term of sugar and acidity from the fruit. Would come back again to try another pastry!

Cafe
The Kitakaro Sapporo Honkan Cafe, a branch of the renowned Hori sweet shop, opened in March 2016. Situated about an hour's drive from Sapporo in the direction of Asahikawa, this cafe is housed in a building that was originally constructed as the Gyokei Memorial Hokkaido Public Library in 1926.
Cute café that gets busy fast! Saw this on Google maps and the moment I laid eyes on the cake set I couldn't resist. I ordered the cake set with a strawberry shortcake and the orange/mandarin juice as well as a latte. The cake was soft and the strawberries fresh, the cream was smooth and filling. The chiffon cake was a dense cloud, that had to be my faveourite one of the set. The ice cream was pretty good, but honestly the two cakes dwarfed it by that point. The juice felt fresh squeezed and was very tasty. The atmosphere is fantastic, it's all modern and white and very cute, but be warned! The place gets busy FAST. I got there around opening and it was about a five person wait, but as soon as I sat down it started filling luke crazy. On the way out there must have been at least a fifteen group line! Overall id definitely come back, for the quality and taste the price is very worth it.
Igor B — Google review
The café is on the second floor really nice, bright and airy. They don’t have a lot of savory dishes, but their desserts are the real highlight. The wait wasn’t long. My husband and I ordered two desserts, I got a set with three mini cakes and a drink, and he went for a parfait. The cake set came with soft cream, chiffon cake, and tiramisu, all tasty and so cute! The parfait was good too.
Patnaree K — Google review
The cafe is located in a historical building designed by Tadao Ando, you can imagine the environment is simply impeccable. The staff are extremely efficient and friendly, they handled multiple tasks at the same time yet never forgot a smile. The food is above average, the price is high and the waiting time is very long, but still it is quite worthwhile to come.
Anne P — Google review
Huge lineup at the upstairs cafe, the 990 combo was worth it, and the building itself worth seeing. Food quality was just OK, if the lineup was under 10 min, I’d give it a 4 stars.

During my visit to Hokkaido, I had the pleasure of exploring Kitakaro, a renowned shop in the region. The building itself was a charming piece of history, as it was converted from a historic library. It has received numerous accolades and awards for its architectural design. Inside the shop, there were also bronze statues honoring its achievements. The second floor of the shop housed a restaurant, but due to the long queues, I decided to explore the first floor instead. This floor was dedicated to selling souvenirs. There was also a separate stall offering various sweet treats. On this occasion, I tried their cream puffs and tree ring cake. The cream puff I had at Kitakaro was the best I have ever tasted. When I took a bite, the cream inside was incredibly rich and had a distinct milky flavor. It was evident that the magic behind this cream puff lay in the high-quality milk sourced from Hokkaido. The combination of the delicate pastry and the luscious cream made for an unforgettable treat. I also tasted their tree ring cake, which was similar to a roll cake. I had tried a similar cake before in Tokyo, but the one at Kitakaro had a unique flavor. The cake had a light and fluffy texture, and each layer had a distinct taste. It was a delightful and satisfying treat. Whether you're looking for unique souvenirs or simply want to indulge in delectable sweet treats, this shop will undoubtedly leave a lasting impression on your culinary journey.
腰高 — Google review
Housed on a restored artdeco building. The interior is hip and new. The shop is located on the ground floor while the cafe is at the second floor. Meals are served between 11am and 2pm only - the rest of the day would be just cakes and pastries. Their cakes and patries are good. Their soft-serve icecream is the best.
Leo L — Google review
Highly recommended for sweet lover. I went there for my birthday on Sunday and waiting for 1 hour. The cafe is on 2nd floor. Go straight to 2nd floor write the name and number of people for booking list beside reception. 3 desserts and one drink for 990 yen is totally worth with quality and decoration. Staffs can speak English and well mannered I will go again before I leave Sapporo. So much joyed for my birthday.

Quite popular amongst the locals. It was authentic and a bit retro. It was too retro for my taste, hence the rating. However, if you dig 70s sweets, this place offers it in spade.

The monkey pastry was tasty, but the real star of what I got was the cheesecake. It's like a hybrid between a New York and a Basque cheesecake. It has the almost chewy crust of a Basque, with the fluffy crumbly creaminess of a New York.

The menu features heavenly dishes like Angel Pancakes and Fairy Pancakes, along with seasonal specials like cherry blossom pancakes during sakura season.
Really love the pancakes. They are so much to look at and definitely taste just as good. We ordered 3 different types and all taste great, so I dunno what to recommend. Parking may be a bit hard if you are coming by car.

The pancake was eggy, light and fluffy. I was totally satisfied. I ordered the Classic white chocolate with vanilla ice cream and Fermented butter.. and my daughter ordered the Devils fluffy pancake. It was truly unforgettable.
Ivy M — Google review
The soufflé pancake is a delightful culinary experience that excels in both taste and aesthetics. It impressively holds its shape, showcasing a flawless, airy structure that instantly catches the eye. The texture is incredibly light and fluffy, providing a melt-in-the-mouth sensation with every bite. What truly elevates this pancake is the generous topping of fresh, vibrant fruits, which add a burst of natural sweetness and contrast to the soft, subtle flavour of the pancake. It's a perfect balance of taste and presentation, making it an irresistibly delicious treat. This is a must-try whenever you visit!

Best Hokkaido milk softserve!!! It is creamy and melts in your mouth Better than Kinotoya's soft serve 😘 (We tried both kinotoya and machinura soft serve on same day) Highly recommend the yogurt too from Machimura :)!! The pudding has a slight eggy taste but not too sweet so it was good.
K M — Google review
The ice cream and yogurt were delicious. The milk and donut were alright. I like the ice cream here better than a lot of the stores I tried but I prefer the one at “The Soft Cream House” because it came with a better cone. However, the ice cream here is cheaper for the quantity.
K S — Google review
Hokkaido is known for their milk products, and this milk soft ice cream is no sloucher. I can instantly taste the difference in the milk ice cream. The milk has a more pronounced flavour, like I was drinking some high quality milk or even cream. I can taste and feel the individual ice crystals too, as they feel more separated from the creamy milk. It gave a unique taste and experience, like miniaturized bursts of ice crystals hit and meld with the creamy milk around it. It didn't taste like vanilla, but just purely of milk. It was softer than ice cream, and similar to frozen yogurt. It didn't melt too quickly either. The waffle cone was tasty. Not too thick or hard, and it broke off easily, but still kept its shape. Had a nice vanilla taste that still tastes fresh like it was just made. It complimented the ice cream well. It didn't get soft and soggy either, even until the last bite.
Brandon M — Google review

Parfait was good and huge!! Go before your lunch or dinner as they requested one order per person so you might not finish the whole thing if you go after lunch. Wait a bit long around half an hour but worth it!!
Millky H — Google review
Very yummy parfaits in a cozy ambiance. I got the white parfait, which is their most popular. It was tasty but also got a bit monotonous after a bit because it’s a lot of milk ice cream with not too much else. My husband got the chocolate caramel parfait (the monthly special) and his was much more interesting. Still, really enjoyed our visit here and appreciated that there was waiting space indoors given how cold it was outside!
Carolina A — Google review
I was looking for a parfait that specifically mentioned using Hokkaido Milk and this was the place! The interior was nice and I really liked the ceiling lights. The seats by the large windows were also enjoyable to sit in. The dessert was delicious. I'm not too sure but perhaps they are using actual pasturized milk because there is more of a slight gritty texture to the parfait which I quite liked! I also thought the design of the dessert was pretty when served in the martini glass. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing and I could take my time without worrying. Overall, I really enjoyed it!

THE BEST AND THE UNIQUE SOFT CREAM. It was similar to a mashmallow mixed soft cream I ate when I was a child. From 460JPY depending on the flavor and the cup or corn types. Initial Sapporo is a renowned dessert store known for its signature parfait, fruit sandwiches, and coffee served in a modern industrial setting. The quality of ingredients and attention to detail are exceptional, making it one of the best dessert spots in Sapporo. While the desserts can be a bit pricey, they are beautifully crafted and delicious. The strawberry parfait is particularly recommended, featuring towering ice cream adorned with fresh strawberries. Despite potential melting due to warm temperatures inside the restaurant, the experience is delightful.
It’s as good as it looks. Real Fruit, Real Cream, Real Everything. These not only look good but are perfectly balanced between a sweet treat and a light snack. It’s the most perfect parfait I have ever had. Also their green tea was delicious.

Visited due to the online hype. Service was prompt and excellent. We arrived at around 6pm, and the place was surprisingly empty. Good quiet and homely vibe. We tried the strawberry and the chocolate banana parfaits. They were nice, but honestly very expensive. Perhaps they use top quality fruit as it tasted great, but the price was well above other parfaits that we had in Tokyo and Sapporo. A nice experience and great tasting desserts, just be prepared to pay for it.

On busy days, there is also a limited seating time. The shop is located on the second floor, and the elevator is next to the bar downstairs.

Found this cafe via google suggestions. It feels like an Artisan dessert parlour where desserts served are crafted beautifully. The parfait is not only nice to see but tasted good. It feeds you well with mixed nuts and fruits. The cocktail was also nice! Will come back to try other desserts in the menu! Cons- just a little bit pricey however I think it's worth a try.

If you come before 21:00 pm there are not long queues. Can wait 😊 Parfait is good and beautiful, better to come with your friends cuz you can try more than one. I went alone, so I can eat just one because it is quite big for me.

A very cute dessert restaurant with a bar to boot. Depending on what you order, the desserts can get a little bit pricey, but they are beautiful. And not only do they look good, they taste good too! I ordered the strawberry parfait and was not disappointed. The ice cream looked gorgeous as it towered into the sky, surrounded by a bunch of fresh strawberries. It was lovely. The only thing is, the restaurant was actually a bit hot so it started to melt almost instantly. Be sure to eat quickly! Some other reviews noted about a wait. I arrived around 5:30pm on a weekday and the place was nearly empty. They also have English menus available. Overall a very nice experience and I’d recommend it for a date or treating yourself!

Milk & Parfait White Cosy is a sleek and modern cafe in Japan that offers a variety of desserts, including ice cream sundaes. One of its unique offerings is the ice cream parfait with a thick layer of chocolate pudding, chocolate truffles, and chocolate sponge cake. The menu also features pancakes, spaghetti, soup, and rice dishes. The shop provides convenient access by train and offers friendly service with an English menu available.

Delicious parfait on the B1 Floor of the Stellar Place shopping centre. We came here on Christmas Day 2024. There are many types of parfait to choose from, and the parfaits are big enough to share if you are not very hungry. We were seated immediately at 10:30AM, but by 11AM it seemed to get busy. We tried the matcha adzuki parfait because we wanted something that wasn’t overly sweet, it was perfect.

I came here when they have the special limited time scallops pasta meal and it's was phenomenal, much better than 2 stars Michelin restaurants I ate in Hong Kong . The aroma of the fresh scallops with some seaweed is just so amazing, then corn soup with dried corn was also outstanding, the milk that they serve is how milk should taste like , creamy and delicious just like how milk was taste like when I was a kid , this place is a hidden germ , a must eat in Hokkaido.

Located in Otaru, Hokkaido, the LeTAO Main Store is a must-visit for food enthusiasts. The store is part of a chain that includes six outlets in Otaru, with five along Sakaimachi street. The main store features a cafe on the second floor where you can savor their signature Double Fromage Cheesecake and other delectable treats.
The 1st floor is a store. On the 2nd floor, at a cafe, I ordered the Special Chocolate Cake set which came with tea. It was delicious with the feel of the main store advantage. After the cakes, I checked out the 3rd floor observation deck. It's only 3rd story high(it's a tower so actually higher than 3rd floor but the store says its on the 3rd so) but since other buildings are not tall, the place has a good vantage point. Don't forget to ring the bell. You will know what I mean.

This company had many locations in Otaru. I have to say their cheese cake (Camembert) and custard were amazing but can work on their coffee. Over all Otaru coffee place was not as good as Sapporo. In any case, people should try their cheese cake and custard in the little glass cup.

LeTAO’s main store is one of Otaru’s most famous sweet spots. The ground floor is filled with cakes and souvenirs, while the second floor café serves their world-famous Double Fromage cheesecake with tea in a cozy space. There’s even an observation deck with views of the town. The café is very popular, so expect a long queue, especially on weekends. Good news for travelers, the store is foreign-friendly, and some staff speak English, Chinese and Thai making it easy to order and enjoy. A must-visit for dessert lovers.

The main store is really big and you can try different desserts. Unfortunately the cafe upstairs was mostly sold out. We bought a full cheesecake from the shop but it was frozen so we couldn’t enjoy it in the moment. They had some good samples and they also sell ice cream.

A place filled with warmth, sweet and cream aroma! Cafe in the 2nd floor is always full, offers cake and drink set. We ordered a 3 cake set, Strawberry, chestnut and grape cream cakes, silky and flavorful. Regretted ordering Americano, which was too watery. Should have ordered its aromatic tea. The portions are quite small, if you are expecting a Americano Starbucks size, order triple!

My family and I as first time foreign tourists in Otaru were excited to visit the LeTAO here as it originated from Otaru. So, we decided to have some of its desserts at its cafe that's located on the upper level of the store here. While we had to wait for our turn to be seated, it was well worth the wait as the desserts were not only pretty but also pretty yummy. Service here was friendly and attentive. The dining ambience was okay and could have been better if the air-conditioning here was cooler to cope with the dining crowd and warmish weather.

The top dessert shop in the area is Kitakaro Otaru Honkan, known for its delectable cream puffs and homemade rice crackers with various tempting flavors.
An iconic shop in the middle of Otaru’s famous Sakaimachi street. This is worth the visit! A large selection of cakes and other goodies. Highly recommended. Thumbs up! They also have tax free service.

I decided to try all three types of cream puffs: A: The shell is like steamed buns, very heavy and overwhelming to eat. B: Slightly less heavy, but there’s still too much cream. C: The thinnest shell, similar to the usual cream puffs (this one is the best choice). The common feature of these three types is the excessive amount of cream, making them overly rich. They lack the balance of flavors found in regular cream puffs.
Hellen P — Google review
I ordered their signature cream puff, which was about the size of my fist. The pastry shell was flavorful — probably thanks to proper dough fermentation — and the cream inside was rich, sweet, and delicious. Overall, the quality of the desserts here seemed quite good, so I ended up buying several as souvenirs to share with friends back home.

Papa Says: 👍👍👍+ I'll come to Otaru again to try this cookie fresh. Highly recommended if you're in Sapporo! Chanced upon this pastry shop and was enticed by the "best consumed within 2 hours" sandwich cookie recommendation. I just HAD to try it, and I've got to say that this is hands down the best sandwich cookie I've had in Japan, even possibly my whole life. The cookie was thin, crunchy and the cocoa taste just cut through. As you bite into the cookie, the cheesecake is just the right amount of coldness, and melts as you sink your teeth into it. Devoured the cookie in a minute and it's one of the best delicacies I've had on my Japan trip thus far.

Milk Mura is a unique bar in Chuo Ward, Sapporo City, Hokkaido that offers a delightful combination of ice cream and alcohol. The bar takes the concept of sweet treats to a new level by serving specially-made ice creams topped with liqueur and hard liquor. The owner has curated an impressive collection of well-selected liqueurs, making it a popular destination for those who enjoy both alcoholic beverages and desserts.
My partner found this place because we were looking for ice cream one night. Can’t really describe it but would highly recommend for a fun dessert experience! It’s kind of like stepping into Alice in Wonderland, very kitschy, kaleidoscopic and unusual. It’s located at level 6F. The dessert: You have an option ordering either one out of two soft cream dessert set options at 2000yen per person, each person must order a set. Each set will include either tasters of hard booze or liqueurs that you eat with the soft cream. You can choose your liquors/ hard booze or they can recommend the flavours to you. We were surprised with the price but we went with it as we considered this an experience! Mr. Mura and his team were very friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about the many different liquors, the entire set up is really quite fun. The ice cream is smooth and you get a free refill as well! The liquors were very fun to try and some of the flavour combos really hit the spot. Thank you Milk Mura for the good time!
Su-Yi — Google review
Cute place. I love the idea. They even have a special way to eat enjoy the soft serve and liqueur. Problem is the soft serve was too icy for me. Not very smooth. But maybe that's just my preference. I was looking for a deeper milk flavor. It was very light.. You get (1) refill of soft serve. Staff very welcoming, but cash only.
Hannah A — Google review
Cool concept, soft serve ice cream with your choice of 3 liquors (around 3ml) on the side to eat with. But I am not very fond of the taste of the ice-cream myself. I do not find the typical milky or fruity favor that are found in Hokkaido soft serve. PS. Prepare to line up
Jaime C — Google review
A refined, tasteful, and mature dessert experience - probably the best way to eat soft serve that I can imagine. The actual ice cream is so delicious, with that inimitable Hokkaido milk flavour. Then, the liqueur is brought out and the experience gets cranked up to the maximum. Pouring the drinks over the soft serve is fun and makes you feel like a dessert scientist as you combine everything hunting for the perfect mixture. Many side dishes, tiny coffee and cookies at the end, and an outrageous liqueur selection make this a place that I’m certain has tons of revisit value. English instructions are clear and easy to understand so we got to eat everything as intended. A must try!
Nathan M — Google review
Such a fun and unique experience! I really enjoyed being able to customize the experience and try many different flavors within one cup of ice cream. My favorite liqueur was the white peach, I would definitely recommend to those who like sweet, fruity flavors :) Staff was so sweet and welcoming, we really enjoyed our conversation with them even though we speak very little Japanese. Can’t forget the really cool atmosphere! We’ll definitely return on another trip to Hokkaido.

Not only is this a unique dessert concept, perfect for a date either beginning or winding down the night, the staff is very generous. Nestled just a short five-minute stroll from Sapporo Station, Péché Grand is a delightful café that captures the essence of Parisian charm right on the first floor of Akarenga Terrace, overlooking the Hokkaido Government Office. This enchanting spot is an offshoot of Peche Mignon, a beloved French patisserie based in Hakodate. Initially known for its straightforward breakfast offerings, Péché Grand has since expanded its menu to include an array of delectable French toast options.

(Translated by Google) I used it for the first time at a social gathering at work. Sister store of Hakodate Snuffles. The baked goods and cakes also look delicious. The food looks colorful and delicious. The mimosas in the all-you-can-drink menu were delicious. The interior has a sparkling and stylish atmosphere that makes you feel like you're at a wedding reception. It's a little embarrassing to see everything from the outside. It was a runner-up to the main dish, beef steak (5 out of 5 courses), so I was full, but thanks to the healthy seasoning, I finished it all. Perhaps because it was a weekday, it was reserved exclusively. I had a relaxing time. Next time I would like to try the dessert as well. I ordered the same menu, but the cake and coffee tasted very different. I was very surprised, but it seems like both the chef and barista have changed. It's so unfortunate. But the waiter was very friendly. The interior decoration was still neat and one wall was entirely made of glass, so the view was very good. Farmers Markets
The Hokkaido Agricultural Technical College Farmers' Market is a seasonal market located near Hokkaido University in Kita-ku. It operates from April to November, offering fresh, locally-grown vegetables and fruits. The market is run by students of the university and provides an opportunity to support the local community while enjoying some of the freshest produce available. Visitors can also indulge in additive-free ice cream made from organic milk sourced from cows at the agricultural college.
The ice cream is truly delicious. It's possibly the best soft serve ice cream I've had. I really wanted to try the milk but they were sold out and only had the yogurt drinks. We came at nearly the end of the summer season (Nov 1) but there were still many locals coming to try the ice cream at 10am. There is a farmer's market nearby with limited options. Come to try the ice cream, but not much else.

Very relaxing and fun place to visit. Just enjoy the breeze and family time. Very nice place to take pictures as well ! We tried the ice cream, milk, and yogurt. The milk had a different taste from what we usually drink. I liked the yogurt—it was sweet, a little sour, and smooth. There is also a vegetable shop with organic and homegrown vegetables. After that, we walked to a nearby sports mall and supermarket. The weather was cool and the walk was peaceful. We really enjoyed our time here! If you have a car then it's much more convenient cause apparently in Sapporo driving is very relaxing. There do have train to this place but you need to walk for about 10-15 mins. Best to go early so that you can see more variety of vegetables and other things. Its sold out quite fast.

Went there today (2025, January 6th, Monday). Double checked the website to make sure it wouldn’t be closed. It’s written in the website they open on Sat, Sun and Mondays during winter. My family was craving for the milk ice cream. It was a bit far from where we’re staying so it was kind of a mini travel to get there. I was so disappointed to see the doors shut. When I was there I saw other people at the same place as me. Of course I tried to call but nobody answered.
Karina M — Google review
Rating 5 stars for the yogurt and milk which was the best I’ve had in Hokkaido (and in my life). I was grateful because I managed to get the last bottle of 200ml yogurt for 330 JPY. The 200ml milk was 260 JPY. The soft serve for 400 JPY was only 3/5, it tasted good but melted too quickly and was a mess to eat. The waffle cone was also unremarkable. For soft serve, I recommend the one at “The Soft Cream House” instead.
K S — Google review
Light texture but super rich yummy milky taste. Now I’m feeling jealous of Sapporo people who can come to enjoy this milk goodness whenever they want 🥹 I came quite a long way, I should go get a second serving 😝 I went with yogurt instead and it’s soooo good 🥺 Perfect balance of mellow sourness and creamy sweetness I came on Tuesday around 1pm. It’s not crowded but customers come in continuously. Recommend everyone to come even if it’s a little away from city center. Not taking too long by train and during a walk from station there’re some beautiful front gardens and lush greeneries.

The best fresh milk and soft serve ice cream I have ever tasted. I have tried soft serve in other places in Japan and Hokkaido (even Cremia) and this is still the best. Similarly their fresh milk tastes great without being too creamy/too much, just the best. Their opening hour varies by season and there is limited supply so would highly recommend to check before going.

Ice cream shop
Yamanaka Dairy Farm Otaru Shop offers a unique experience of purchasing local dairy products directly from the farm. The cows are raised in a stress-free environment and fed natural fodder, resulting in high-quality milk used to make their popular soft ice cream. Visitors rave about the rich and creamy texture of the soft serve, as well as the fragrant and refreshing taste of their milk. Some even recommend enjoying a glass of milk after an evening onsen for an authentic Japanese experience.
Another accidental find. It was a super hot day and seeing the ice cream being sold, I had to have one. The regular milk ice cream was very creamy, mildy sweet but also very buttery - dare I say, almost cheesy? It was very rich in milk flavour and definitely not something you can get in North America. All in all, a delicious eat.

(Translated by Google) This is a casual cafe (although it mainly serves meals) of a super famous French restaurant in Sapporo, and is located on the 9th floor of the Rokkatei Building, located halfway between Sapporo Station and the Botanical Garden. There is also a paid parking lot nearby, so it is a convenient location considering it is in the center. We had lunch on Sunday, and the course A was 2,800 yen and the course B was 3,800 yen. This time we had the course B. The menu is in the 6th photo. We went with our child (toddler), and the staff were very friendly and we felt comfortable coming with children. The interior of the restaurant has a nice cafe-like atmosphere, and it is spacious with a fair number of seats, but even though we went towards the end of the lunch hour, about three-quarters of the seats were filled. It is probably a good idea to make a reservation if possible. The food, including dessert, included soup, two appetizers, four dishes (mainly vegetables), a main (chicken galantine), and one dessert, but there are three dishes in total, so it is quite voluminous. Of course, I liked the taste of both the food and the dessert. The richness of the flavor and the speed of delivery were also very good, and I think it was worth the price. It was possible to share one course with a small child, so it was more than enough for me, who tends to be a small eater. (The amount was quite large even with dessert included.) This is a restaurant I would like to consider again when eating out nearby. I wanted to try the main Moliere restaurant in Maruyama, but due to budget constraints (and staying within my means), I decided to go here this time. I made a reservation by phone in advance. I was asked to choose a course at the time of reservation, so I chose this one. ■Menu B @ ¥3,800 (tax included) *Credit card payment ◆Soup ---It was hidden by the foam, but it was a deep, sweet corn soup. It was incredibly delicious. ◆Moliere Salad ---Carrot rapée, potato salad, and boiled egg with spinach sauce, with hot broccoli simmered in bacon soup added later. It wasn't amazingly delicious, but each dish was carefully prepared. ◆Beef Loin Steak (+¥1,500) ---I chose the beef steak for an additional fee. The accompanying red wine sauce, mountain wasabi, and mustard were good, but I preferred it simply with salt and pepper. The garnish was grilled maitake mushrooms, which were packed with flavor. The piping hot potato gratin served later was incredibly sweet and delicious, making it the perfect main course. ◆Bread ---It was piping hot bread sprinkled with poppy seeds. *I wonder if refills were allowed? ◆Dessert ---I chose the melon jelly. It contained three slices of Yubari melon, which were much larger than I expected, and I thoroughly enjoyed the fresh, sweet flavor of the melon. The jelly itself was also delicious. I was also given a choice of palate cleanser before dessert, and I had a delicious mini custard pudding with a hint of caramel. ◆Small Sweets and After-Meal Tea ---I finished off my delicious lunch with almond cake and coffee. The interior of the restaurant was bright and decorated with natural wood. The view from the window seats was great. The staff were polite and courteous. The main branch of "Moliere" is a casual French restaurant recommended for those who feel that food is intimidating. Thank you for the meal. *There is only one unisex restroom outside the restaurant. *There is a smoking area next to the restroom. (Translated by Google) Visited November 2025 This cafe is run by French chef Moliere. As expected, the food is impeccably delicious, but the service seems to be lagging behind. The desserts, which make the most of the tartness of fruit, are particularly impressive. The Tarte Tatin had a refreshingly sharp tartness, and the blueberry jam served with the French toast was also impressive. Meanwhile, the service is a bit shaky in minor areas. A good example: when every drink is presented exactly like the picture, you can't help but be left thinking, "Huh?" While the outward appearance is good, for the price, they could have done a bit better at focusing on the essentials. According to my son this is best restaurant in Japan :-) I guess he was missing his pizza and pasta after a week here. That being said the pizze were very well presented, would feed two not so hungry people and service was prompt and very friendly (awesome table ordering made things happen so quickly)! The venue itself would probably qualify as swanky for Sapporo. Good music and good vibes. Highly recommended!

Mia Bocca is a bit rustic looking, perfectly fitting the vibe of the shop and it's Italian fare. The food was delicious, I especially liked the eggplant and mozzarella pasta we had. The four cheese pizza, while tasty and definitely good with their honey, could've used a bit longer in the oven as it was a bit doughy. All in all I thought it was a good restaurant, with plenty of options to choose from and enjoy.

Parfaiteria Pal is a charming café located in the heart of Susukino, Sapporo. It offers a delightful selection of beautifully crafted parfaits made with perfectly balanced ingredients, some even paired with alcoholic beverages. The cozy and relaxing atmosphere makes it an ideal spot to unwind after a long day. While the staff may not speak English fluently, they are helpful and accommodating. The parfaits are not only visually stunning but also boast unique flavors and seasonal variations.

I recently visited this store and had a generally pleasant experience, though there were a few things worth mentioning. First, there is a dedicated waiting area, which is convenient, but unfortunately, it has a strong cigarette smell that can be a bit off-putting. The staff were friendly and helpful, taking the time to explain the menu as there doesn’t seem to be an English version available. The atmosphere inside is cozy and intimate, making it a great spot for a date night. The ambiance is warm and inviting, though it’s worth noting that there is a maximum dining limit of one hour, which could feel a bit rushed for some people. I tried the parfait, which, while visually appealing and artistically presented, was a bit on the pricy side. Although it was enjoyable, I felt the taste didn’t quite live up to the price tag. It was good, but not extraordinary. Overall, it’s a solid choice if you’re in the area and looking for a cozy spot with a unique menu, though you might want to manage expectations when it comes to the price versus quality of the parfait.

The desserts looked appealing, but their taste was worse than average. They were also more expensive than those from well-known dessert shops. The service was strange as well—the credit card machine had connection issues after several attempts. I mentioned that I could pay in cash, but the staff insisted the machine was fine and asked me to try another card. After more than 10 minutes of unsuccessful attempts, I ended up paying in cash. Overall, a terrible experience—I definitely do not recommend this place.

Highly recommend to go there with solo or couple as they don’t have seating for huge group. Parfait is about 3000yen each and everyone is required to order one parfait each at least. It looks big but you can easily eat this by one person so no problem of ordering multiple of them. It’s very crowded so service here is rather slow, so plz have very little time constrain if you plan to go there. Menu changes frequently, so you will never get bored of this place.

Parfaiteria is a very popular destination for dessert lovers seeking a truly decadent experience in Sapporo. We arrived at 9p weekday and waiting time was around 15mins. The beautifully crafted, multi-layered treats made with fresh seasonal ingredients elevate each parfait to a new level of indulgence. The attention to detail in both presentation and taste makes these parfaits not only visually stunning but also incredibly delicious. It is delightful and how amazing that in such a small cup you can experience more than ten different tastes from the beginning all the way to the end. Don’t miss out this place when you are visiting. Worth to wait and you won’t regret it. Vegetarian friendly.

This shop has a lot of hype in Sapporo but I think there are better ice cream shops. The queue gets crazy in weekends - almost 30 minutes so try to come on the weekdays. I would say, come for the hype and the creative presentation of the parfait. If you’re in it for the taste only, there are better places!

This cafe has some of the best parfaits I have tried in Sapporo by far. Their parfaits are not only gorgeous, but they also have so many unique flavours and combinations, as well as seasonal items. As Sapporo is famous for its “Shime Parfait” we decided to end the night off at this lovely little store. Finding it was a bit difficult, as it was hidden right in the heart of Susukino, but once we found it we couldn’t be more delighted. It was a gorgeous and quiet place, and the atmosphere was cozy and relaxing. I’ve been back twice, and each time I’m amazed by the quality and flavour. The “Yōtei-zan” Parfait, modelled after the mountain in Niseko, used yoghurt and was creamy and light, with a slight hint of spice from the leaf on the top. My other favourite parfait was the blueberry and lavender mochi parfait with white wine jelly and a hint of rosemary. Everything was delicious and I can’t wait to try more!

Hidden in the 6F of the building. Clientele mainly women. The parfait was so-so; very sweet for guys' palate. But the food is very insta-worthy. So is the interior decor. They have cosy booth and sofa seats, and counter seats. Pricey.

Northern Kitchen, located within the LArgent hotel, is a fantastic dining destination that caters to all-day cravings. Just a short stroll from Sapporo Station, this eatery embraces the essence of Hokkaido with its top-notch breakfast offerings. Guests can indulge in an extensive buffet featuring meticulously prepared dishes that highlight local flavors and specialties. The spacious interior creates a serene atmosphere perfect for enjoying a leisurely morning meal or lunch.
Convenient location. Nice service. Wonderful buffet breakfast that include everything that you want to eat. A lot of choices. In general, the breakfast includes salad bar, Japanese cuisine, Chinese dishes, western breakfast and coffee bar. Their sashimi rice is delicious. The dinning place is spacious and clean. Pretty comfortable. Staff is polite and attentive. Price per person is within ¥2k.

Overall, a surprising letdown. I would not recommend it. Food is good, but not worth the price (nearly 4,000¥). Plenty of better options nearby. Food is good with wide range of selection but limited in traditional western breakfast items. Turnaround for fresh dishes seemed to take a while, as items would run out and then seem to not be replaced, or at least not quickly. Service was so so at best. It’s all self serve, with nobody coming to take old dishes away. You pay up front before entering, so you don’t know what is available before you pay and get seated. Atmosphere is loud, busy and cramped when busy. Location is easy to find, and is co-located with a hotel. Overall, would not recommend this place due to price. The lack of variety and service is the second reason I would not recommend and will not be returning.

We had a lovely half buffet lunch here for 2,000 yen per person. Great food, great coffee, and nice ambience. The staff let us sit, take our time, and talk. A good selection of salad, bread, fruit and a choice of a main dish. We also got a view of the famous Ferris wheel from the window. Definitely worth a visit to this great restaurant.

I went for the lunch buffet which was about ¥2000~¥2300 per person. Included appetizer and salad buffet. They had a good selection and they usually have 3 main dishes to choose from. Chanced upon this dessert place while walking the streets of Susukino. It has a very cute logo, but the desserts in terms of presentation and taste were delectable. Store was friendly and there are sitting areas on the first and second floor

A delightful crepe specialty shop located within Tanukikoji. The crepes are perfectly balanced—not overly sweet, yet still delicious. The friendly staff and cozy atmosphere make the experience even better. A great spot to enjoy a tasty treat while exploring the area!
Joon T — Google review
We found this spot as we were craving for dessert and ended up really liking their soft serve ice cream. My partner had the hokkaido milk soft serve while I had the hokkaido milk and matcha combo. The hokkaido milk flavour was nice and light, while the matcha flavour was more on the subtle side - I would’ve liked it more if the matcha was stronger though. We didn’t get to try their other desserts or drinks, but it was a cosy little spot to rest in between shopping and exploring.
Len N — Google review
Matcha is pretty weak to my taste. I ordered • Matcha crepe with red bean paste and chestnuts - just ok. Fillings were a bit less than other crepes I had ever tried. • Cold matcha latte with cream cheese - I love cream cheese on top. If matcha were stronger, it would have been the best combination. • Match soft cream - just ok as match was pretty light.

ACTUAL HOKKAIDO MILK SOFT SERVE! My wife grew up on this sweet treat as a kid (Korean version) and coming to Hokkaido, we thought we’d find it everywhere, but we disappointedly slurped our way through a dozen+ cones that we thought was Hokkaido milk ice cream. This place has the real deal, as well as yummy matcha soft serve. walking distance of the bustling susukino area.

The area is also home to various cafes and dessert shops, including Kitakaro Cafe and Rokkatei Cafe.
The cream puffs there are absolutely the best! I stumbled upon their café at the Daimaru location in Sapporo. I was blown away. I didn't even know they had a café until I had already left Sapporo. "カプセルモンスター" is a dessert shop situated on the first floor of a refurbished apartment building near Nishijugochome station. The store offers an array of delectable cakes and pastries, with their patisserie desserts being highly recommended over their cookies and biscuits. Customers can indulge in delightful cakes and coffee at reasonable prices, typically around 700 JPY for a cake and coffee combo.
Both shops are located in an apartment next to the hotel on the corner, 5th floor. Wonderful cakes, quality is comparable to desserts at the end of a high end meal! MUST visit the sister coffee shop. It's beautiful, and very enjoyable place to eat the cakes. At the cafe, You can order drinks, cute area, and we ordered several smoothies that were high quality, the guava is real guava, so it's going to taste lighter than syrup versions. The mango and lychee is rather nice as well. Very attentive lady serving us, she even gave us ice when we couldn't finish one of the cakes. Although I would recommend heating the Caneles closer to when serving to prevent them from getting hard.
Jonathan T — Google review
Good experience to taste the cakes in this small shop. Though the location is inside a building 5th floor. We saw the good comments and went there. Four cakes are wonderful and at high quality. Not so sweety as others. We took away and enjoyed at hotel. We can’t find the sister’s cafe as described in the comment, maybe it’s not open at weekdays afternoon. Anyway the quality is excellent . Varieties of small individual packing cakes are great, can try even you are a single traveler.
Tammy P — Google review
I believe their pastry/cakes are better than their cookies and biscuits. We went in for the cookies and we were just kind of “whelmed”, especially for the premium price they were being sold for. Go for the patisserie desserts instead of the cookies for the best experience.

Missed their Furano farm store so was pleasantly surprised they have a branch in Otaru too. Entrance is tricky to find so just look for their signage after entering the Denuki Koji alleyway on the ground floor. Sweet, juicy melons with equally delicious melon flavoured soft serve. They sell smaller portion quarter melon Santa's Beard here too instead of the typical half melon but the cafe is pricier compared to others in the area. They also provide jagged metal teaspoons to eat the melon which is more convenient than blunt plastic spoons. Just a pity they don't sell the melon by itself since the fruit was so sweet that soft serve isn't really necessary.

They only have one ice cream flavor at the store-milk. This may sound odd, but it is delicious. After traveling through Hokkaido and trying all kinds, this has been our favorite ice cream. The price was reasonable and the interior of the store was really sofisticated. The pasteties also looked amazing.

The cake itself was quite good, but I wouldn't say it was worth the price. It was 1200 yen for 330mL of the cake. So I would recommend to try it for the experience, but there are more cost-efficient choices if you wanted a good dessert if you can sit down in a shop/restaurant.

I had 2 sweets and they were average. Not the best one I had but was good. In front of the shop there is a interesting vending machine with cakes, pudding, tiramisu, etc in cans but I didn’t try because they were little expensive (more than the cakes available inside the shop).
Carlos H — Google review
I was skeptical that the vending machine cakes would be good, but the tiramisu was fantastic! Originally I wanted the strawberry cake, but every time I came by the machine they were sold out. So I decided to try the tiramisu and was very happy! I went on a random Sunday morning and there was no line- but I’ve heard there are lines at other times.

No longer open, but there's a cake vending machine outside. It's near a parfait place (Parfaiteria Pal) run by the same company.

One of the unique, if not hidden, gems in Sapporo, still unknown to many foreign visitors in general. This is a vending machine selling parfaits, puddings, and cakes packaged in can-like containers. Use it just like using any other vending machine in Japan. Note that you are supposed to eat them directly from the can (spoon is included). From the one that I bought, I realized that the "can" is transparent, meaning that the beautiful appearance you see from outside is the actual cake itself.

Kinotoya Bake is a popular cake shop in Japan that makes cheese tarts with their rich, fluffy cheese mousse and the crumbly, baked pastry. The cakes are made in-house and they are delicious with their creamy cheesiness and sweetness that is perfect with the tart. The cakes are great buys during winter holiday seasons in Sapporo as they are very affordable.
Delicious baked cheese tarts. The pastry case is crispy, almost like a biscuit. The cheese filling is creamy and delicious. There is a limited number of chocolate tarts available, usually sold out by midday, also very delicious. Highly recommend.

Cheese tart is at the top of on my food list in Hokkaido. Thanks to Hokkaido Cheese Tart, a Malaysian owned company, for doing all the promotion. When I came across Kinotoya Bake at Sapporo station, I just had to try one. The tart base is crunchy and the cheese filling is tasty yet light. It was pretty good but would have been even better if it was fresh out of the oven. Also, I actually prefer the oozing cheese tarts from Hokkaido Cheese Tart back in Australia.
Brian L — Google review
A must go to! While the cheese tart is what this place is most known for, if you have ever had cheese tart from this other place called “Hokkaido baked cheese tart” then this won’t really be amazing because it tastes exact the same. However, I strongly suggest buying the Hokkaido milk soft ice cream here! Trust me, during my Sapporo trip I have bought SO much soft ice cream in so many different places around Sapporo, and this was surprisingly the best one!
Shiini N — Google review
Freshly baked cheese tarts. Very friendly staff. Custard was baked perfectly with a crispy buttery outside, ooey goody cheesy filling on inside. Worst thing is the buttery smell goes all through the subway so it’s pretty hard to resist!

The cheese tart freshly bake and it taste very nice. The cream is so cheesy and the sweetness of the tart matched perfectly with the cream cheeese. We bought it 2-3 times during our winter holiday in Sapporo. Totally satisfied with the cheese tart from Kinotoya bake.

According to my friend best cheescakes in the whole Japan. I've had one and I agree it was amazing! We bought 6 to take them with us to Tokyo. Have it warm! Cold one was really good but not as amazing as fresh, straight from the oven <3

I am a self-professed cheese tart (and pastele de nata... and pudding) fanatic and these are my new favourite. Super buttery and crisp tart shell and creamy filling where you can definitely taste the rich Hokkaido dairy (more milky than overtly cheesy). The new blueberry flavour was great too with a thin layer of blueberry jam between the cheese filling and the crust. This tart has unseated Pablo as my favourite... Which is unfortunate because it's harder to get 😢
Rachel L — Google review
So. so. good!!! A must try when you are in Sapporo! When eaten fresh the filling is sorta liquidy. If you let it cool completely down it becomes a cheese cake texture. Recommend eating at least 2 and experience them in both form! So delicious!!

PAUL Sapporo Stellar Place is a bakery and cafe located on the 3rd floor of the shopping mall, part of Sapporo station. It offers a variety of breads and croissants made with imported French flour and dough, as well as cured ham sandwiches and savory bread. The dining area is spacious, making it suitable for a quick snack at the station. The menu is available in English and French, catering to international visitors.
This cafe has amazing baked goods and coffee. True French influence at a high standard. Note - this place is not cheap, but you get so much more in quality that it makes it worth the price.

The coffee and the tea cups are tiny for more than 500 yen. I ordered a cup of cafe latte and it came in 8 oz cup and the cup was half empty. My husband ordered a cup of tea - same tiny cup. We were very disappointed when we opened a bag on the train. The food was ok, and the place felt very cozy and clean. The lady was welcoming, I just wish she would communicate about the size of their drinks.

During my two-week trip to Hokkaido, I discovered a delightful coffee shop called Paul, located in Sapporo JR Station. It became my regular breakfast spot during my stay. The croissants at this coffee shop were incredibly delicious. The breakfast meal I typically ordered consisted of one croissant, a tasty slice of ham, and a boiled egg. Additionally, I tried another meal option that included two pastry buns served with jam and butter. Both meals were accompanied by a cup of drip coffee with whole milk and sugar. Impressed by the croissants' exceptional taste, I even decided to purchase two croissants to-go for breakfast on another day. It was a convenient option that allowed me to enjoy the delicious croissants at my leisure.
腰高 — Google review
It is a shop located on the first floor of Sapporo Station. Next door is a wine shop. I think that it is easy to find because it is easy to understand that it is in a crowded place and signs. It is said to be generally the same as France except for sandwich ingredients and vegetables. Hard baguettes and French breads etc. are full-fledged from the French market, special flours are being produced and the same equipment as in the local area is used to make Sukra. It seems that the dough of Danish is also frozen and transported from France and baked in Japan. It's not cheap at all, but because it is stuck with the ingredients, it is only delicious bread that you can feel the taste of butter, because the bite is very delicious. The most popular croissant is freshly baked, but it has a very good flavor and sweetness regardless of when you buy it. The order is basically how to order the items in the showcase, tell the clerk items and quantities, etc. and put them in a paper bag. We also sell sandwiches sandwiching vegetables and cheese with croissants. While the counter seat can be called several times while the table seat continues to the back, the shop has a depth that is more than the appearance of the shop.

VERY good croissants and quiche. Coffee was excellent as well. We were quickly served our coffee and food after we sat down. The only MINOR complaint is that they only have tables for 2 and there were 3 of us. But they didn't complain when we moved 2 tables together so you can mix that complaint!

Mister Donut JR Sapporo is a popular donut chain store located near the JR Station in Sapporo, Japan. The cashier at this franchise speaks English, making it convenient for international visitors to place their orders. The store offers a wide variety of donut options, including cute Pokémon-themed ones. One of their famous menu items is the chewy and delicious pon de ring.
Absolutely stunning pastries and mochi donuts! Just because you see Mister Donut everywhere doesn’t mean it’s bad! It’s everywhere for a very very good reason. The pastry was flaky with no soggy patch within it. Very well-made. Please make sure you ask for the pastries to be oven-ed when purchasing. The mochi donuts were so fluffy and bouncy it was just unbelievable.

I have seen Mister Donut in Singapore for a while but never had the time to try it. During my recent trip to Hokkaido, I finally had the chance, and I was lucky enough to try the special Minion edition. Although the taste was average, the donuts were just too cute! If you don't like banana flavor, you can try other flavors, which are also good. If you want to try something new like I did, why not give it a go? I recommend visiting during off-peak hours. I went during the after-work rush and had to wait in line for 10 minutes.

KINOTOYA BAKE Pole Town store is a renowned dessert shop in Japan, known for its delectable baked cheese tarts, soft serve ice cream, and other pastries. The shop's signature cheese tarts feature a rich and fluffy cheese mousse atop a crumbly, baked pastry. These delectable treats are especially popular during the winter holiday seasons in Sapporo.
The shop is easy to find, thanks to the irresistible aroma of freshly baked pastries. The menu is quite simple, offering only a few items: baked cheese tart, baked apple pie, and soft-serve ice cream made with Hokkaido milk. Our initial plan was to try the soft-serve ice cream since we aren’t really fans of pastries or cheese. However, after seeing the neatly arranged baked cheese tarts on display, we were tempted to try one as well. The baked cheese tart was absolutely delicious—the tart shell was incredibly crunchy, while the cheese filling was creamy and savory. We loved it so much that we returned the next day just to buy more. The soft-serve ice cream was also amazing, with a smooth texture. Although Hokkaido milk has a richer and creamier taste compared to other types of milk, it was still very enjoyable. The cone was also perfectly crunchy.
Grace A — Google review
4.5 - The soft serve was generously portioned, with a rich, creamy flavour that was thick and satisfying. If the milk flavor were naturally stronger, it would definitely earn a higher score. On the other hand, the tart may look simple, but its taste was incredibly rich and flavourful. The custard inside is light and airy, with a soft and fluffy texture — very impressive. If I had to choose between the tart and the soft serve, I’d definitely go with the tart. Definitely worth a visit!
Roy S — Google review
I planned to try the soft serve since I landed at the New Chitose Airport, but the queue was just too long. I searched the map and realized that there was another place near my hotel, so I went to this shop located in Pole Town, which was very convenient and required no queue at all! The soft ice cream is very rich and thick, unlike the ordinary soft serve you can find in other parts of Japan. 😋It’s also very generously portioned, given that it costs just 540 yen! The portion is perfectly sized for two people, leaving no doubt about how they have ranked first for five consecutive years. Their cheese tarts are so creamy and rich too!

Awesome cheese tart and soft Ice cream, I did not try the Apple pie. 150 yen for the Cheese Tart and 450 yen for the soft Ice cream. Must try if you happened to be at Odori Station.. (This shop is located in the underground shopping area)

Delicious cheese tarts in Sapporo. The base was slightly more brown than I would like, however it did not affect the taste. We put ours in the fridge as I like cheese tart filling a bit more solid, this was delicious.

This place is located in the Pole Town underground shopping center. You can smell the pastries first before locating the store. I couldn't help myself and got both the pie and ice cream. The apple was shredded instead of diced or sliced. It also has a custard. I prefer this version better compared to the U.S. version. The ice cream is so creamy!

The food here was yummy, both the main dish and the desserts. It was a great place to stop over as we explored makomanai. Below with the rice is like a beef stew.

(Translated by Google) It's been a few years since I last visited. I was surprised by how new it was. It's two stories tall, with high ceilings and a spacious sales floor. I've always loved this bakery, and I decided to visit again. I couldn't find the old eat-in area, but it seems the entire second floor has been converted into an eat-in area. Amazing☆ (It used to be very cramped). As expected, their chocolate bread is absolutely amazing. The "Gute" in particular is so visually impressive it gets me excited. It's more like chocolate than bread🍫 And the "Nama Chocolate Croissant." They have a variety of chocolates, but my personal favorite is the au lait. If you can't decide, these two flavors are a sure bet😋 Royce's sweets are now available everywhere, but their bakery is only in Sapporo, so I'd love to see them open more locations outside of the city! By the way, isn't the parking lot a little small for this store's size? Is it okay since it's not in the city center?

Saturdays Chocolate Factory & Cafe is a local chocolate brand that originated in Sapporo, offering hand-crafted chocolate bars and a variety of mocha drinks and shakes. The shop's interior resembles that of a stylish general store, with chocolates presented in elegant packaging.
I went to a chocolate shop while visiting Sapporo on a chilly Friday evening. There was no line outside, so I ordered three things: hot chocolate, iced chocolate, and gelato. The hot chocolate with whipped cream was rich and super delicious. The gelato was great too my son really loved it. Everything we ordered was tasty. It was a great way to kick off the trip, and I was really impressed.

Love their chocolates!! It's a bit pricey for small chocolate tabs. Maybe because they handmade them. The chocolate latte is a must try! The beverage price was, however, reasonable.

The place was very cute 🥰 most place in Japan were cute but this place was extra lol Had many sweet options and drink. We had hot latte and they were serving their roast and it was awesome. Seating was kind of limited but space was clean and decorated beautifully. Staff: they were all friendly and knew what they were doing. Bathroom: it was clean!! In U.S. we have to worry about condition but so far all bathroom in any cafe or restaurants were all clean and had washlet (bidet toilet)

High quality single-origin chocolate, not to mention it’s beautifully packaged. The hot chocolate here was so good and the whipped cream on top is so fresh. Picked up a few bars here - they make great gifts and a treat for myself to target chocolate cravings.

Craft Chocolate shop in Sapporo near Nijou fish market. The recommented is "Hot Chocolate Basic" (+50¥ for whipped cream) There are also coffee, brewed tea, sweets, various chocolate bar and seasonal limited dessert. You can have mashmellow for free with your drinks! Warm & Cozy. Great place for a cold day.

Excellent chocolate shop and cafe. Delicious chocolate milk, so good I came back for another one!
Adam B — Google review
The staff were super friendly and they had a young man working there who spoke English very well. I asked lots of questions about the making of their chocolate, from roasting to what they use for grinding the beans, and he did his best to find out and tell me exactly what I wanted to know (He's a fairly new employee, but a fantastic find for the shop) The chocolate I tasted was really well made, from good quality cocoa beans that had been roasted very well for the specific type of chocolate they chose to make from it in the end. I didn't have any coffee so unfortunately I can't comment on that at this time, but if it's anything as good as their chocolate - worth every penny. The ONLY downside to the shop is perhaps a lack of super comfortable seating to go and sit and enjoy the wonderful chocolate and drinks with a group of friends. TLDR - Go and try everything 😁 It's delicious.

Absolutely delicious and you can taste test all of the varieties. They have quite a few options and the staff is pretty nice. It’s a great place to chill, but the Cafe itself is pretty small. I thought it’d be a bit bigger. However, it’s mostly a storefront and factory than a regular cafe. Even so, the quality of her chocolate is delicious and totally worthwhile to visit if you are near the Nijo Market area, and one end of he Odori Park!

Baskin Robbins is a vibrant ice cream chain that offers an extensive selection of flavors, including sorbet and yogurt. It's a popular spot for gelato and soft serve enthusiasts, providing a satisfying experience with high-quality options. The store frequently introduces seasonal limited flavors, maintaining a standard of excellence. Despite its location near Sapporo Station, it remains somewhat of a hidden gem in the city center, often having low foot traffic during weekdays.

(Translated by Google) Have you tended to get a little excited about gelato and soft serve ice cream in recent years? This is a major ice cream chain store that gives you a deep sense of satisfaction that you can never beat. There are always several types of seasonal limited flavors, and all of them are of high quality. Although this store is directly connected to Sapporo Station, it has a surprisingly high vacancy rate during the day on weekdays, making it a bit of a hidden gem among ice cream shops in the city center. In recent years, for a limited time, they often sell products that collaborate with popular characters or offer them in patterned cups. Chocolatier Masále Main Store is a charming and inviting space filled with natural light, offering an extensive selection of chocolates and cakes. In addition to their delectable treats, they also feature an in-store menu for dining in. Visitors rave about the mouthwatering baked chocolate brownie that is simply divine.
The store is really cosy with a lot of sunlight. They have plenty of options for chocolates and cakes. They also have a in store eat in menu. I tried baked chocolate brownie. It was out of this world delicious.

Chocolatier Masále is almost too good - the selection is so wide that I genuinely struggled to choose. On a more serious note, the cakes I bought were absolutely delicious. I also appreciated the thoughtfulness of the staff, who asked how long I’d be carrying them so they could decide whether to include a cooling pack. It’s also perfectly located for a sweet stop on the way back from Mount Moiwa. Chocolatier Masále is definitely worth a visit - just be prepared to face the “too many good options” dilemma. Edit: today I came back for more. Have no regrets.
