Located on Nevill Street in Southport, Silcock's Flavours Ice Cream Parlour is known for its high quality dairy ice cream made with locally sourced ingredients. The shop has a wide range of flavours, including some very adventurous choices. Whether you're visiting or living in Southport, it's definitely worth trying out Silcock's Flavours Ice Cream Parlour for some delicious ice cream!
We visit the place for first time and we enjoyed every bit of our ice creams. We got 4 scoops each for £4.90 each. We had ferrero r.,bueno, nuttela, mango and passion fruit and second one was strawberry, jelly belly, bueno, cookies and cream. This ice cream was the best of ice creams we had. Nice and cremy. Not water down. Nice and friendly staff. This place offer loads different flavours. Probably the best place to get good ice cream in Southport.

It was 28° today as I took a stroll around a very sunny Southport, so I found myself in need of something to cool me down. An ice cream was what was needed and a nice unpretentious cup of coffee. And this place is where I got both. A very very tasty Bounty & Rum n Raison combination in a crunchy chocolate dipped waffle cone. The staff are very friendly, and the place is spotlessly clean. This is my go to ice cream parlour if ever I'm in need of one in Southport. Delicious 😋
MerseyMoto — Google review
Absolutely fantastic ice cream parlour. So many flavours of ice cream to choose from. Friendly staff, reasonable prices and clean surroundings.

Had a very tasty ice-cream from here with a biscof on top. Mint chocolate was very nice too the chocolate inside was good.

Never had food from here, but the ice cream especially looks good! However it is linked to a nice arcade that my kids love going to to waste my money! But it keeps them happy for a while!

Silcock's Pier Family Restaurant is a great spot for families, offering delicious meals at affordable prices. They ordered cod and chips meals with sides, as well as a kids' cod bites meal and tea for two, all at a surprisingly low cost. This made for an enjoyable dining experience that left them eager to return in the future.

Ice cream shop
Rossi's is a shop in Southport, which specializes in homemade ice cream. The staff are very patient with customers and give out free samples of ice cream. They have a lot of cute souvenirs available for purchase, and would definitely recommend visiting this shop if you're looking for some delicious desserts.
The ice cream here is absolutely delicious – the flavor is just perfect! The portion sizes are very generous, and the prices are totally reasonable, especially for what you get. It’s great value for money. I also noticed that the staff seems to have changed recently, and I have to say they are now super friendly and welcoming. It really makes the whole experience even better. Definitely recommend stopping by!

best ice cream place in southport. Very lovely lady, Value for money the ice creams are huge and delicious:) exactly what i’ve been looking. Three scoops with a flake and wafer on top and some strawberry sauce. Many flavours to choose from Thank you :)

A lovely lady and a lovely ice cream. We've got three scoops of ice cream with a flake and sauce and it was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this shop to anyone just look at the photograph.

My son absolutely loves this place, and I do too. The staff are so so lovely & chatty and their ice cream is all made in store and absolutely AMAZING! So many different flavors to choose from, he tried the Marshmallow one today and he said it was “very yummy” if you come to Southport town, please give this place a visit. 10/10 🩷🫶🏼
Shirley H — Google review
Went in there with my partner yesterday , honestly the best decision ever, you could tell all icecreams are homemade what the girl mention to us too! Service was kind, quick and we got talking to the girl there called Paula, telling us about plans they’ve got doing waffles, crepes and shakes, even got complimentary waffles so they can hear our opinion on them! Couldn’t recommend more !
Linda F — Google review
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you’re in Southport and don’t stop at Rossi’s for a doughnut, you’re missing out on pure happiness in pastry form! 🍩 Fresh, fluffy, perfectly sweet, and always made with love! they’re hands down the best doughnuts in town. The kind that make you “just one more” your way through the box. Friendly service, irresistible smell, and a Southport gem you’ll keep coming back to.

Absolutely delicious food! We got the kinder bueno doughnuts, black cherry ice cream, and mint chocolate chip ice cream. The service was amazing too. Very polite and helpful. Definitely would recommend.

Lilibets is a charming and bustling spot, even on rainy days. The staff are incredibly helpful, taking the time to describe all the delectable cakes and pastries. Customers rave about the fantastic anniversary cakes made by Lilibet, with one couple expressing their gratitude for her hard work. Visitors also praise the polite staff and delicious teas and coffees available at Lilibets.
Lovely place very polite staff great cake Tea’s and Coffees 5⭐️

Lilibet has just made my wife and I the most fantastic 50th wedding anniversary cake, the room erupted when it was presented. Thank you Lilibet for all your hard work. Kind regards, Janet & Peter.
Peter C — Google review
A little overpriced. The place is a lovely setting and the cakes looked amazing, although we didn't try them. The toilets are upstairs and staff from have to let you through with a key as it's a shared building. Staff were friendly but service was a little slow.
Sarah M — Google review
Absolutely delightful little place. The fact it was so busy on the rainy day that we visited says it all. Staff could not have been more helpful, even describing all the cakes and pastries for me. And they tasted every bit as good as they looked.
Brian D — Google review
I visited Lilibets with my family, during a recent visit to Southport. This is somewhere unique and definitely worth visiting. The produce is mouth watering, and the selection amazing. If this establishment doen't tempt your taste buds, whether it be sandwiches or cakes, etc., then nothing will. Very reasonably priced, and the customer service is second to none. Definitely not to be missed!
Madeline B — Google review
If I could award more stars I would, its what tearoom dreams are made of. An utterly delicious selection of cakes & teas all served in & on pretty crockery. Decor & staff all add to the experience. Still talking about it 6 weeks later :)
Jacky D — Google review
Not as great as our previous visit when the Lord Street shop was open. New location isn’t great, the street is not appealing and the seating area very small. While the cakes and tea are still good, the overall experience isn’t as good for the price.
Simon M — Google review
I have just been in to the shop (not located on the main shopping front as photos show with all the lovely cakes) i had to phone up to find where the shop is. there are no delicious handmade cakes in the window , we had no hello when we walked in and when we asked about the cakes they only had 3 choices which were not the wow factor that i experienced last year when i came .we decided it was not a great experince so we said goodbye and we got grunt - terrible service terrible experince not impressed and ruined my birthday treat.

Antonio's is a charming and friendly ice cream shop where the staff goes above and beyond to make customers feel welcome. The generous portions of authentic, rich-flavored ice cream include gluten-free options. Visitors are impressed by the warm hospitality and kindness of the staff, who are quick to replace dropped treats without hesitation. It's no wonder that Antonio's has become a favorite spot for delicious ice cream in town.
I've visited on a few occasions, each time I've remained outside, ordering coffee and ice cream from the counter. Ice cream is delicious, and three pots will set you back around a tenner. When I've had coffee it's been professionally made. I've read some reviews complaining about instant coffee? I've certainly not seen that here for myself, they've got a professional espresso machine etc.
John G — Google review
Staff are nice and the ice cream is good. Now here's the "but" but they are very expensive which is a pity because their colourful display catches the kids attention and the parents are left paying a hefty price for overpriced goods. Also they don't show they're prices which I believe is done on purpose. I will ask them why they don't show prices.
Freddie J — Google review
For three regular ice creams and one Nutella waffle and it was £21. There was no price list up. So it was difficult with three children to make an informed purchase. The waffles were hard sugared waffles not freshly made. Ice cream was nice. Service wasn’t friendly at all. Barely got a word out of him. Disappointed. I don’t mind paying if it was good friendly service and fresh quality goods.

An institution in Southport, it's been many years since I've visited this ice cream stall. We decided to go on Saturday evening after enjoying a curry nearby. Fantastic range of ice cream - some really interesting flavours like Marshmallow, Fanta & Bounty. Big scoops of flavourful, delicious creaminess ! Recommended !
Shirley M — Google review
£24.40 for 2 milkshakes, a single scoop tub and a 3 scoop tub! No prices anywhere and bog standard ice cream. Never normally write bad reviews but this is extortionate pricing. Shame on you Antonio's.
Adele H — Google review
Had baileys and mint icecream today Great service although he was on his own he did well. Would love to buy tub n take hime Thank you

Nestled on Liverpool Road in Ainsdale, The Milk Room is a delightful new spot that has quickly become the go-to destination for those craving Instagram-worthy treats. With an extensive menu featuring mouthwatering waffles, decadent milkshakes—including one topped with a generous slice of cake—and fluffy pancakes, there's something to satisfy every sweet tooth. Upon entering The Milk Room, guests are greeted by a charming ambiance and friendly staff who are eager to assist in navigating the diverse offerings.
Lovely friendly staff, delicious puddings. Special birthday messages on the boxes for the birthday boy. Great Lockdown service. Collected in person, very quick service. 😊👍
Fiona B — Google review
This is our first visit to the milk room and it won't be our last, it looks lovely from the outside and even nicer inside, the staff are lovely and helped us decide from the extensive menue, between the 5 of us we had pancakes, waffles, milkshakes and a birthday milkshake which had a huge slice of cake on it, I thought the prices where excellent as the food was huge and tasty, the seating was very comfy and the tables are big enough for 3 large plates and 3 drinks per table, again the staff are lovely friendly smiley and help make the whole experience a more pleasurable one.
David ( — Google review
Nice drinks and good portion for the prices. Waffles are good as well and there is a large selection and very customisable. Do delivery as well so that's useful if you live far away from birkdale
Dan M — Google review
great waffles!!! lovely chilled atmosphere and the portion sizes are fabulous. also they are unbelievably reasonable price wise. me and my friends couldn't believe the value for money. deffo going back
Sarah T — Google review
10th March 2023 c16:00 - gave me the wrong drink, smoothie instead of a sundae, when i told the person serving me, he advised I was wrong, told me it was the right order even though it was not, then laughed in my face. Ended up paying £4.95 for something I did not want rather than £3.50 for what did. Not happy with such rude service and refusal to give me the drink I ordered; think they picked on me as just a teenager !
Fenny F — Google review
How amazing are the milkshakes and waffles from here! 109% would get these everyday if I could 😂🤦‍♀️

It is really great but very unhealthy. If you are looking for a more healthy snack try somewhere else xx
Rynne P — Google review
The presentation is stunning and the milkshakes are very filling and delicious. The price is a little high compared to other places but you get what you pay for and it's something I would pay for again. Definitely will be back and to try something else from their large range of things.

OMG!!! Food to die for, smoothies, milk shakes, waffles & pancakes were all delicious!! Would definitely go again & recommend a visit if your in town!! Staff were very helpful as well as informative. Clean & fresh diner with trendy decor. Taking the kids next time, they'll love it!
Deb P — Google review
We have been here a couple of times. The milkshakes are gorgeous but the last time we went was in the evening. It wasn't busy apart from maybe deliveries, the waffle machine was broken which was disappointing and we had a good wait for our 2 milkshakes. The shop was quite dirty and so were the clothes that staff were wearing. Maybe aprons would help and long hair could be ties back. This could have been a one off as the first time we went, it was very busy and spotless.

There is one massive problem with this place..... And that's the fact its opened so close to where I live! The cakes in here are great, and since they've opened I've been in far too many times for my own good. Everything I've tried has been great and I can't recommend it enough. I have alot of experience with eating cakes, and these are some of the best I've had. 10 out of 10

Cake Corner have made birthday cupcakes for my daughter, over the years I have popped in and bought lots of occasional treats too all amazing / but today the Dubai chocolate bar arrived and WOW mind blown! It’s by far the very best version of this! It’s the size of a brick and you won’t want to share !!

Visited many times, always a pleasure, the cakes and the drinks are amazing, the staff are always very friendly and welcoming and helpful, the place itself has a very relaxing atmosphere and I do recommend ignoring any negative feedback, because there will always be fake, negative reviews, especially from rival businesses. I had my 50th birthday cake hand made for me and it was truly beautiful and I ordered a 40th birthday cake recently and it was quite honestly the nicest tasting cake I've ever had. Ignore the negative reviews and instead, I recommend visiting for yourself and forming your own opinion.

Ivan G — Google review
visited this evening for my mum’s birthday. on arrival we ordered four desserts. the server asked us if we had any allergies, and i explained my brother is lactose intolerant. she then asked me what lactose is, and if i could explain to her what foods contain this ( certainly concerning to know that your staff are not required to have any allergen knowledge when working here ). the actual desserts were fine, and then ten minutes later i asked for a decaf latte for my mum. there were four members of staff, three young girls and a young boy. one member of staff made a decaf latte which was extremely pale, and before serving it the rest of the staff gathered around and agreed it looked wrong, so they threw it away and tried again. a second decaf was made, looking exactly like the first, but this one was brought out to us. my mum tried it and said it did not taste of coffee; so to not be inconvenient to the staff, i approached the young boy and asked for an extra shot of the decaf coffee in a little cup so i could add it to the coffee. he didn’t answer me, just looked at me, turned his back and proceeded to do as i’d asked, which i overlooked. a few minutes later someone came over to the table with a little cup of dirty brew water and walked away. me and my family were completely confused as to why we had been served a little cup of brew water, so i approached the till, and asked again if i could have an extra shot of decaf coffee to add to the latte. a few minutes later we were served another cup of brew water. we then called another member of staff over, one of the young girls, and showed her the cups of see-through yellow water, and explained that we wanted a shot of decaf coffee. she told us that this was a shot of decaf coffee, and then went back to her co-workers and told them all about it. ( now although i have worked as a barista for many years, and have poured many, many shots of decaffeinated coffee in that time, i did try a few sips of this dirty looking water anyway, just to be absolutely certain i wasn’t going crazy.. needless to say it did in fact taste of dirty water ) but then all four members of staff then proceeded to spend the next ten minutes standing behind the counter smirking at us, laughing at us, and looking over at us in the most condescending manner, in between comments amongst each other, as if we were completely wrong. we eventually call over the shift manager, and explain that we have been served two cups of the water from the coffee machine and could we please have a shot of decaf coffee. she looked at the cup and said that this was decaf coffee. i explained to her that this wasn’t coffee, it was see through and tasted of water, to which she explained to me that decaf coffee is weaker than regular coffee hence why it looked like this. i explained again that although i understand that the two coffees are different, this was neither as there was in fact no coffee inside the cup. she politely said she would have a go herself and pour us another shot of this “coffee” and if we were still unsatisfied she’d be happy to refund us. anyway, she came back a few minutes later, admitted we were right, apologised to us, and handed us an extra shot of coffee to add into our latte. ( i must give credit where credit is due: this manager was kind to us the entire time ). she explained she had noticed her staff had been using the wrong porta filter and that’s why no coffee had come out, and admitted the staff were poorly trained. please, please, teach your staff how to correctly use the coffee machine. when your establishment offers coffee, your staff need to know how to serve this, or at the very least know what coffee looks like. it should not take 5 members of staff to serve a customer three failed attempts at a decaffeinated latte. with this i should add that we did not receive an apology from the staff the smirking at us from behind the counter either, perhaps a short course in customer service would make a huge difference too, as i can’t actually say i’ve ever had good service here.

Please get some staff who know what they are doing and can react at least ( by their own poor standards!) reasonably quickly to customers! Waited for ages the order we received looked nothing like the menu items - but didn’t see any point in complaining as I doubt the staff had the capacity to react to any complaint. Felt ripped off ,came out, won’t be back - advise others to keep their money in their pockets!

A bit pricey but oh blimey what a treat. I took forever to choose but a lad on the till called Sean was dead patient with me and gave me his recommendations. Place was clean within an inch of its life, staff were brilliant and did everything with a smile. Will definitely be returning with the grandkids before New years. Send em back to their mums full of e-numbers 😂👍 merry Christmas and happy new years to all at Kaspa’s Southport

Filthy dirty, dirty utensils, a hot latte that was cold, and waited over 30 minutes for a slush bubble tea with no slush in it. Plus, they were mixing orders up left right and centre and proclaiming it is because they were busy. The girl who took our drinks order even brought somebody else's food to our table three minutes after we ordered.

Great selection of desserts. Ice cream was very tasty, we had ordered the sundeas and were very filling. Tasty drinks too. Friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely recommend

Pud Dessert Co is a popular choice for those with a sweet tooth. Customers rave about the fantastic presentation of their desserts, particularly the awesome cookie dough. Despite being indulgent, the desserts are surprisingly light and fresh. While delivery may be a bit slow due to high demand, the delicious treats and friendly staff make it well worth the wait.
Ordered a few times. Each time food has been great! Delivery is a little slow, but they are very busy and work their butts off, so it's well worth the wait! Lovely staff, really helpful and friendly. Love the £17 deal for 2 large milkshakes and 2 desserts!

Oh. My. God. We have ordered from Pud a few times, we still need to try loads from their menu but so far we've always had their AWESOME cookie dough. Presentation is fantastic, as you also eat with your eyes. Top products, always very fresh and surprisingly not heavy at all. Highly recommended.

First time pancakes were decent and I'd have given 4*. Tonight 2 of the 3 weren't cooked (didn't know until home) and one milkshake was wrong (accepted as already waited so long and got 6.35 gift card). Ordered at 8.20pm and not ready until after 9.45pm (when website says 20mins and email confirmation said 9.10pm). Lad on the phone was really understanding and polite...... and mistakes will happen, but I still wasn't happy getting the frying pan out at 10pm when it isn't cheap either.

Decided to try out the new dessert place in churchtown ‘Pud’. One word - WOW!!! We got two waffles and two milkshakes. Literally can’t fault the place one bit, food and shakes arrived on time and are by far the best I’ve tasted!! Keep up the good work guys!! Highly recommended 👍🏾

This is the best and most amazing dessert/milkshake place on earth. We ordered a few milkshakes and a few cookie doughs, OMG!!! They were astonishing, I have never tasted anything like it, there were like a box of paradise. I love pud, thank you so much

I'm leaving 5 stars just because I don't wish bad to anyone's business and I think everyone needs more help and less negativity in the current climate, especially that i am the first reviewer so don't want to put just 1 star, but I genuinely think that your business will not last long if our experience first time at your caffe reflects everyone else's. I really hope that it was just a one off and you only had a bad day or just bad 30 minutes, but we won't be back, not to even to give a second chance. We would rather drive further out to another similar caffe in Birkdale although we live round the corner from your caffe. Very back handed service, took our order first time, then 15 minutes later it appeared that all 3 girls forgot to do our order saying they thought its been done, then took out order for the second time, writing it down again and literally 5 minutes later (I think the owner) asked us to confirm the order again. I said to my girlfriend it's very awkward, but let's hope their waffles will change our experience to better, but that was another disappointment. The waffles weren't bad, but I think it was rushed through in the end and I think I could have done it better myself. I would suggest you to pop down to Birkdale and see their waffles, how it's done proper.

Unreal!!! Pud is my new fave place for pud. The tastiest cookie dough I've ever had and such good choices of toppings, mine was biscoff and galaxy caramel with dark choccy sauce YUM. Also the cheeonuts and milkshakes are real good too

My family and I have eaten from here three times now since it opened! The children love it, (we secretly love it more though!) Exceptional products and service Pud Desserts, keep up the great work. John

The Shake Factory in Southport is known for its amazing food and exceptional service. Despite ordering close to closing time, the staff went above and beyond to deliver the order with humility and friendliness. The shakes are particularly outstanding, and customers have praised the polite and accommodating nature of the staff. It's a place where you can treat yourself to delicious treats while enjoying top-notch service.
Visiting Southport from Sweden with my boyfriend when we decided to pop in for a sweet treat. The milkshakes were amazing! My boyfriend and I can especially recommend the banana caramel dream. The young lady who served us, Eve, was very friendly and helpful. Five stars! ⭐️

Cheap dry waffles with cheap tasteless ingredients. Why is this place still open. Not recommended at all.

Ordered a nutella waffle with Terry's chocolate orange.....good job I have nutella at home because I couldn't see any on it. Also looked like maybe 3 Terry's segments snapped in half. So disappointed.

Order was out for delivery for half an hour and ordered 4 items, recieved 3 which wer all completely wrong then tried over charging

The cookie dough was ok and well presented but came with a pot of Ice-cream which I would not call ice cream. I don't know what it was but it has a crazy after taste I can't put my finger on it ,it stayed with me for ages . Absolutely horrible ice cream I've never tasted anything like it in my life , the same ice cream was used in the milkshake for which reason I did not even drink it. The weird taste of the "ice-cream ' completely overpowered any other taste of the shake . Maybe it must be a vegan or dairy free ice cream I have no idea but my girlfriend who paid for the order got fed up of my complaining after about an hr. Please if possible explain the ice-cream because I am baffled.

We’ve been pretty regular customers with shake factory and never had cause to complain . Unfortunately tonight we had to . We ordered a Nutella waffle , when it arrived it was stale and dry and there was barely a drizzle of Nutella on there . Previously waffles have been swimming in sauce and toppings . I called the shop and spoke to a young girl who suggested I should have asked for more sauce 🫤 and would knock some money - didn’t say how much - off the next order . I very much doubt we will order again.
