We came here over the weekend; it was a lovely sunny evening, so we sat outside overlooking the marina and watched the sunset. There are heaters available outside, but we weren’t any on our table and the waiter provided us with blankets instead which came in handy once the Sun started to set. It’s a beautiful little restaurant, in a lovely spot and this is what attracted us. The staff were lovely and attentive too. The food however, we found to be quite overpriced and quite bland. I think the prices somewhat reflect the setting, but we didn’t enjoy the food and sadly would not return.

Trattoria 51 is a great place to have lunch. We ordered pizza and salad and we were not disappointed. The pizza was delicious and the salad was fresh. The service was excellent and the staff were friendly. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and is very clean. We would definitely recommend Trattoria 51 to anyone looking for a great place to eat. We particularly liked that they brought the kid’s food first.

Very friendly staff that are attentive without being intrusive. Nice building and decor with delicious food that tasted really fresh. The pasta we had was a very generous portion too 😊

Such a shame this used to be our go to place in Southport but it has sadly declined . £90 bill for below average food . All tasted frozen steaks just very average bland tasteless prawns no sorry you have let the ball drop and we won’t be back service was ok but food very very average . Been going 7 years and it used to be great now sadly in decline Added to review as realised I gave 2 stars should be none . AWFUL another one that’s gone downhill from pre covid Revisiting my reviews and looked again at the pictures WHY ! I didn’t refuse to pay god knows just look at the water under the steak ! 4 prawns and dreadful veg and frozen chips . Have to say eat out a lot this was the biggest disappointment of the year .

The food was delicious, so it gives 4 stars. The service was nice and helpful but not too much space, very tight. We waited for food for over an hour and a half and after two hours the next people waited for our table so we just had to go out to our table so we were told, there was no place inside so that I could wear a suit for my 6-month-old child I had to dress a child outside. This place is certainly not child-friendly.

Went for a meal here, the starter was very nice but the main was quite bland. My partner said her meal was very nice so maybe it was just mine. The staff are all very polite and you have the option to sit outside and eat which we did as it was very hot. I would probably give it another try but choose a different main next time

We have came to Southport today with wife and baby took a walk and decided to eat somewhere as it turned out we found restaurant Volare !!! We were stunned as 2 years ago we have meet in Volare in Rome!!! When arrived we were welcomed by owner at the doors decorated and smell of food from kitchen together with music has made us feel like stepping back in time. After spending some time sharing experience with owner we had ordered food menu was great authentic Italian food made by family from generations!!! Bruschetta Romana simple but best !!! So tasty and fresh 🤤 The seasonal menu wild mushrooms risotto served in pumpkin was best I tried and that comes from 12 years experience chef !!! We also tried Amatriciana and had some house wine that together completed the day !!! We felt like back in Italy!!! Definitely will be visiting often now what a gem 💎!!! Recommended to us by a local. Booking is advised but we were very fortunate a table became available as we debated where to go whilst we waited for our time slot as we hadn't booked. The staff are welcoming & efficient. The food was stunning , we all thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Great variety of choices for everyone and prices are reasonable.

Amazing food. Extremely busy on a Monday night and the six of us had to wait a bit before our table was ready. Because it is so popular the noise level is tremendous however the food and service were good. There is a great vibe to the place.

What a wonderful restaurant, a smiling faces of the waiting staff made our dining more appreciated. The food was also very good, plenty of vegetarian options, wheelchair accessible and more importantly the toilets were clean. Only let down was the lift music. Maybe it was Fausto Papetti (not sure) but does not really go well for daytime dining. It was borderline irritating. We will be back for sure. Would recommend.

Oh I love it here! I've been twice recently and will most definitely be going again soon! The food is amazing and the staff are too. Fabulous, friendly service! I had moussaka and it was delicious and filling, it was served with rice and chips. I also had fresh pitta bread with delicious dips and Greek salad. The wine was lovely too. The desserts looked lovely but I was too full to try one on this occasion, but my friends enjoyed theirs. Can't wait to go back! Really, really enjoyed it all.

Amazing food, lovely owner, however the waitress is extremely miserable. We have been there more than once, and she's always miserable. That did not stop us enjoying the gorgeous food. Highly recommend this place to anyone. Definitely value for money.

Attended a Mamma Mia charity themed event in aid of Asbestos Support Victims Merseyside. Staff were patient, hardworking and friendly. Had a wonderful time - will go again!

Lovely lunch on a quite ish side street! Cannot fault it in anyway -first class service and food ! Good offers on a set menu for lunch -but not expensive on the normal menu either ! Didnt get hit with silly drink prices either -infact I'd say they were very reasonable ! Will be back again -the salt and pepper squid and the mussels frites were outstanding !

Ate here at the weekend and we loved it. Extremely good value set menu and everything cooked to perfection, decent wine and lovely cocktails. If this was in our local town we'd be paying the same for a single main course as it cost us for 3 here and the cocktails twice as much. Next time we're in Southport we will return, you're lucky to have this in your town.

Absolutely delicious food and lovely restaurant! Heard so many recommendations and decided to try it myself. We were 8 people and everyone of us enjoyed our meals from starters to desserts. Also very good price. Definitely coming back!

French restaurant just off Lord Street. Good quality food, well presented and a good selection of wines. The service is excellent as the staff is very accommodating. The place is decorated in good style and is comfortable but quite noisy. The restaurant is large with high ceiling and an open first floor mezzanine type so the voices and noises seem to echo a bit. But all in all a very nice restaurant.

We come here every Sunday The food is fresh, the seasoning is spot on Delicious, we've bought family and friends vegetarian/pescaterian amongst them Bang on, can't say any better Our absolute favourite 😍

Went for a birthday and had a lovely meal! The service was wonderful, all needs were met and nothing was too much for them. Not too busy with a lovely atmosphere. Went here with a large group of friends and I couldn't say I’ve had a better time anywhere else. The food was amazing and the selection is so wide they serve whatever you desire. The service and workers were so kind and friendly it was like we were a special guest from the royal family. The karaoke is amazing and you really can’t find another restaurant like Lings!

Simply amazing chinese food, decorations and ambience. My Mum and I visited midweek and we were greeted by the beautiful owner. All the food was amazing and beautifully presented. The staff were absolutely lovely and could not be friendlier. My new favourite Chinese restaurant!!

We turned up on the fly on a Saturday night of a bank holiday - a restaurateur’s nightmare really but you know they were wonderful. Broke a table apart to make one for us and the service was spectacular- a full house bar a few seats. The food was truly special - served really well, super tasty and honestly such good value I don’t know how they stay open! But seriously if you are in Southport or live here then please go here it’s truly wonderful, nice and cosy, lovely service and great value!

A disappointing experience. We arrived full of expectations having read positive reviews but left feeling sad that what we had didn't live up to what others had reported. The hummus shared plate was nice with warm bread and a tasty salad. We enjoyed that. We then ordered squid, prawns, and spicy potatoes. The prawns were nice, and the potatoes good. But the squid was inedible. The coating was soft and spongy, a bit like the texture of an donut. The squid itself was strange. It was also spongy, not the usual texture. We both tried to scrape off the coating and eat a piece but we ended up leaving the rest. The waiter, a really nice bloke who was extremely friendly and welcoming, saw that we had hardly touched the squid and asked why and I explained. I didn't ask for a refund, and wasn't offered one. I paid the bill, left a 12% tip because the rest of the food was okay and the guy was pleasant. Perhaps it was because we arrived late and the place was about to close. We were the only customers in the restaurant when we arrived, during our meal, and when we left.

5* service and food at a hidden gem in Southport that we couldn't believe we hadn't been to before. A taste of the Mediterranean on the Irish sea. Will be heading back and recommending to all friends and family going forward. Gino's a legend!

My girlfriend found this place on the internet so we tried it out while we were in Southport , the place was quiet due to the fact the Champions league final was on and everyone was in the bars! As soon as we walked in we were made to feel as home by the gaffer, he couldn't do enough for us! The food was good and so was the Turkish beer, we chose different dishes from the Greek, Turkish and Spanish tapas menu and left full to the brim. The bill was a reasonable price too. We were very impressed by the interior of this restaurant and by the lovely painted Murals on the wall of different parts of the med. We had a lovely time and would recommend a visit here!

What a fantastic little place this is . We'd no sooner sat down when there were two glasses of iced water in the table for us . A really varied selection of Greek/Turkish and Spanish tapas , which you can mix to get the selection you want . The food was really lovely and the owners friendly banter made you feel like you'd known him for years.. Top food , top drinks , top service , and the bill was very reasonable. We were only in Southport for one night , and so glad we chose bistro bar med , and we'll definitely be booking in there again when over that way.

Great friendly and knowledgeable Owner / Host, good food, decent wine, nice homemade desserts and all that at a reasonable price. The place serves tapas portions of turkish and Spanish dishes. The food is freshly made and tastes good. We loved the mashed auberginr, goats cheese fried balls with caramelised red onions, meatballs, chorizo, and mince stuffed peppers. We also had baklava for dessers which were served warm and tasted really fresh. We ended our meal with turkish coffee. The owner Gino was very attentive and also gave special attention to our 8 yr old daughter to make her feel very welcome and important.

Very busy Brewers Fayre. Dined there at lunchtime on a Thursday. Always nice to see a place doing well, but being busy does incur a wait. Food was good and reasonably priced. Toilets in nice and clean condition, plus they have a baby changing room and breast feeding facilities if required

Martin who took our orders at the bar and Sam Davies the waiter both went above and beyond to deliver excellent service. All the other staff appeared smiley and friendly but didn't have any interaction with them. Been years since we had been as "L" the previous manager had been very rude to us and we found him to be very arrogant. We only tried it again as people at work recommended it and said he wasn't there any more. We certainly weren't disappointed. And the food was spot on too

1 hour and 40 mins to eat here between waiting for a table, queuing to order was ridiculously long & food then took a further 40 minutes. Upon entering the host was no where to be seen and 3 staff members passed us before I had to ask if I just sit myself down before the host was found/came over, wasn’t informed of any wait to order food or the wait for food. By the time we were seated and queued to order an hour has passed. Only upon getting to the front was I informed about the wait for food, the guy on the till however was the best part of any kind or service received. When the food finally arrived, my burger and fries were cold but at that point I didn’t have time to wait for any kind of remake due to having a train to catch, not like staff were easy to flag down anyway as there was people around me finding it difficult to chase up missing food/drinks

Brewers Fayre offers good value for money with their food. It isn’t gastro pub or fine dining, but it is substantial food and incredible prices. The ambience can be noisy , but that’s to be expected with a place like brewers fayre which is popular for families with young children due to the fantastic value for meals. Service is quick and friendly. All in all this is the perfect place for families. It’s not a favourite choice of mine due to the noise and the food is not my favourite as I do prefer gastro pub meals, but you can’t beat here for value for families and I highly recommend it for this purpose alone .

Could give this way more than five stars. Food was exceptional, the service personal and friendly and the atmosphere for a wet Tuesday was brilliant. People being noisy enjoying unbridled pleasure at the food being served here. Great menu with lots of choice, lots of interesting dishes and service with a smile. It’s not cheap but the 40 covers there this evening thought it was worth it. I will be back here to enjoy more delicious french food in the heart of Birkdale. Tables can now be booked for the Open next year

Husband and I went for an early tea as we had the opportunity of a baby sitter! Food is always fantastic here, I have literally never had a bad meal after visiting for 15+ years. Marc heads up a team of exceptional chefs whilst the waiting-on staff make sure you are well looked after. Michelin star quality food but with better portion sizes. The mix of French classic cuisine with some Asian dishes and top notch Italian pastas never ceases to amaze me. The menu is small (ish) but executed perfectly. There is a reason this place is booked up weeks in advance, but if you're in the local area you simply must visit

There’s a reputation to Verité that has interested me for years as a local. I’ve always wanted to try it, but didn’t realise they offered vegan options until recently. I appreciate that asking a French restaurant to cook vegan is a challenge, but they do promote a menu that caters for it. The starter of garlic mushrooms was disappointing — it felt like a bowl of boiled mushrooms with a dash of garlic oil. Watery and basic. The Malaysian vegetable curry, however, was much better. It stood out as a well-executed dish, especially for a French bistrot, and I couldn’t really fault it. My partner had the £50 steak, which she described as “just okay” — not particularly memorable and similar in taste to steaks at a third of the price. It’s also worth noting that you’re given a strict 90-minute slot for your meal. It felt like the staff were very aware of that time limit throughout, which added a sense of being rushed. The overall quality of food is good, but some of the pricing feels hard to justify. With a bill well into triple figures, I left feeling quite underwhelmed. It didn’t quite live up to the anticipation.

Amazing place. This was my first visit and I'd heard so many good reviews of it. It didn't disappoint! Absolutely delicious food, wide-ranging menu, excellent service. Recent introduction of an adjoining bar next door allows you to enjoy drinks in the surroundings before and after, and we did! 😀

Last week I tried La Tabella’s midweek offer - two course for £19.50. I was instantly impressed by the menu, particularly the selection of pasta dishes (swipe for a cheese pull😍). I had a lovely experience, everything we tried was flavourful and the customer service was great! It was a very good small Italian restaurant in Southport / Churchtown with 5-star food and service in the last 5 years but it has changed today. We are kind of loyal customers to the restaurant, and we always recommended many friends to try this restaurant in the past 5 years when they visited Southport. We went there almost once every two months.... but regret to say that it was no longer in my restaurant list any more after today. Today, we brought 16 people, a mix of 9 adults (men & women) and 7 young people (boys and girls and some of them are under 18) to there for a lunch. Though we finally ordered 12 set lunch (starter and lunch at £18 each) + one extra main course plus some snacks and drinks today, the restaurant may wrongly counted the number of lunch sets and had charged us 2 set lunche more. While we came back tonight around 2100 to ask for a refund of the two over-charged lunch sets, the restaurant owner and his staff first denied that it has an over-charged situation and insisted the bill was correct. While we showed our group photos to prove what we had ordered, he then said our lunch order was too little for 16 people, the pictures were not taken at the beginning of the lunch, and we should not share food within the restaurant. If we did so, the restaurant would do its business in loss, and baabaabaa..... finally, with our insist, he was somehow reluctant to refund us £40 from his cashier machine. Understand that he wanted to protect his business from loss, but I'm quite disappointing about his response tonight. First, we are his loyal customers in years, and only asked for a refund the first time due to the overcharge situation. Second, during lunch time, it only had another 3-4 customers there. Without us (we paid more than £320 to yhe restaurant. If not, it may only get a max of £100 from them during lunch time. Third, as we all may know, a restaurant's profit margin is not mainly coming from meals but from drinks ordered by its customers. Drinks, also desserts, have very high profit margin to a restaurant comparing to that of main course. Fourth, its food quality was not as good as before, especially in our last two patronages (two weeks ago and today). Fifth, an over-bill case and not order enough main course per person are two separate issues. He should not mix these two issues up. Finally, if the boss knows how to deal with his loyal customers better and more skillful, it would not lose some loyal customers like us. My suggestions to the restaurant and the owner are ... 1) may state clearly in the restaurant that it has a minimum charge to each individual customer, or each customer should order a main course over there during lunch time. 2) to ensure food quality of the restaurant to be consistent over time, 3) if he wants to operate a more profitable business, he should improve his customer handling and communication skill. Customers may not always right but he should handle different dispute better.

Got a pizza (Capriccosa) and some mozzarella sticks to take out. The starter was still crunchy even after a 10+ minute drive. The cheese was of good quality and really tasty. The pizza had wonderful dough and very nice quality toppings. Good amount of sauce and cheese. Definitely recommend. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back.

Lovely little restaurant, well kept and relatively fast paced. Monkfish was stunning, definitely recommend. Lamb was cooked really well in the Rogan Josh. Food overall was lovely, but service wasn’t of the same quality - besides the barman in the black polo

This is the best restaurant we have been to for Indian themed food. The staff are superb; the food really top class, and I mean that. Delicious food, nice surroundings, and a relaxed atmosphere. We're from Glasgow, used to curries, but Kailash beats them all. Book a table and get yourself here! Mild to spicy - they have it all.

The food and service here was really excellent. We were a large group of 18, and they took really good care of us. We had pre-ordered a menu beforehand, which was approx £23 per head, and we enjoyed so much delicious food that was really beautifully presented. There were really good amounts of meat which was very tasty, succulent chicken breasts, and overall it felt really healthy and not greasy. It was incredibly good value, and we left absolutely stuffed. There were a range of curries which were very flavoursome - quite spicy for some of us, but excellent nonetheless. The staff were very efficient and were on hand for more drinks and food - so we were never left with empty glasses. An exceptional experience and a brilliant evening.

What can I say, having eaten Indian food in 15 countries including India/Nepal (for 4 months) this was excellent. Spicy, tasty butter chicken, paneer lush and the mix of flavour really impressed. Very creamy ghee, butter and cream abound. Garlic naan, simply the best I have ever had. Like a tandoor cooked Napolerana Pizza.. Service was 5 star. Good value and real quality for the price. Highly recommended 🙏👍❤️

Me and a friend were in Southport for the night after playing golf in the area. I chose this restaurant because of the good reviews. We weren’t disappointed the food was all excellent, it was the best Indian meal I’ve had in a long time. The food and presentation was first class.All the staff were polite and professional. If you are in the area give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.

This venue is the best Indian food I have ever tasted 😋 Over the years we have eaten greasy oily bland Indian food. NOT there it was fantastic the place is spotless clean friendly Staff 😀 helpful and polite. We were celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversary. Please give this place a try you won't be disappointed We had 2 courses and a drink it was £55 that's a good price

5 of us paid a visit to this lovely Nepalese restaurant, and waw, the food, service, and everything about it was totally stunning, we are hoping to be back this week, thank you for the special meal

If you are a coriander hater, you shouldn’t come here as every dish has coriander in it and there is no sign on the menu for this. When I say “everything”, it includes the naan bread (we ordered cheese and onion but the amount of coriander was more than the other ingredients) and rice. When I told this to the waitress, she said “oooo you don’t like it, sorry!” and left but few minutes later she came to offer changing my keema rice to steam rice, which did not have coriander in it. Anyway, if you don’t have any problems with coriander you will like the food but otherwise it is not a good experience.

We go fairly regularly to this restaurant and always take our guests here,many of whom are unfamiliar with Nepalese food. The servers and service is friendly and helpful at explaining the various dishes to new customers. Food is absolutely delicious and varied so something for everyone. The lambchops starter is outstanding and I have it every visit.. Nice wine selection.. What's not to love..

We was recommended to try the Great Himalayas Nepalese Restaurant whilst staying in Southport and we were not disappointed as the food was amazing. The curries are spot on as you'd expect and are complemented well with the poppadoms and dips. They have a nice selection of wines too so are a good place to go if you are celebrating a special occasion or if you would just like to have a lovely authentic meal. Waiting staff service is great as they bring wine out in buckets on ice without being asked if you ask for a bottle of wine which a lot of restaurants may not do and ask customers their preferences. The atmosphere was nice, relaxed, welcoming and friendly. Would definitely go again.

Came on a Thursday 7pm time and it was rather busy but even so the staff were absolutely amazing. We booked to make sure as we had heard it gets incredibly busy. The food was served within time and oh my gosh every bit was just unreal!! We couldn’t get over how surreal it was. Highly recommend the lamb shank special as shown below. We will be coming back! The prices where also very reasonable 🖤

A fabulous meal and great price. The food was really tasty,with lots of flavour and the service was very good too- very helpful servers. A great meal and thoroughly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great curry.

I have made an order for delivery. I have ordered the burrito and loaded nachos. The burrito was over loaded and very soggy. No way of being able to pick it up, but the flavours are nice and I would recommend the loaded beef nachos.

My sons choice. He loves it. Wish could afford to take him there more often. Was mother's day treat 😋

Honestly i can not fault this place! The food served up here is formidable! We had a takeaway and we couldn't believe the standard for a delivered meal. So we went to the restaurant and had to visit again the week after our first visit, as we couldn't wait to experience the delights again. We have taken friends with us since and they were just as impressed. Generous portions and a great drinks list. Couldn't recommend enough. Get involved !⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It is difficult to find a decent Mexican inspired restaurant in the UK, so we were happy to find Tik Taco in Southport as it really was five stars. It was a tough call to pick a favourite between the pulled Pork and the beef soft taco.Thank you for a fabulous meal

We’ve dined here several times now on our recent trips to Southport and we just love it. It’s a very small, intimate restaurant and the menu isn’t huge, but everything is always spot on and delicious. We always have our youngest daughter with us and the staff are just brilliant with her, catering to her any way they can; whether this be letting her order off menu, or making her her very own mocktail. I’d really recommend the Birria beef tacos and if you happen to visit on a themed night (we went for their Halloween one last year) definitively do the set menu; the amount of food you get for the money is amazing.

Sensational Mexican food. Not like you're average greasy meaty tacos, these are light, elegant and fresh. Been here several times now and not once disappointed. Bonus that they do Corona Cero too 😁 ps. Cauliflower wings are a MUST!

An interesting name RA bar at the beginning of the Lord Street. Wheelchair accessible throughout, clean inside and out as well as the toilets. Good value for money with variety of beverages. Friendly staff, which makes a big difference to the establishment. Would recommend.

Popped in here for the first time for a quick drink before home. They had live music with Life & Soul and the atmosphere was really good, so we stayed for a second! Nicely decorated little bar with a good vibe.

Had a private party here over the weekend which was amazing! I can’t thank fadi and the team enough for everything, they were super accommodating and we couldn’t have had it in a better place! The food was amazing and the drinks perfect as always! Thank you!!!

Popped in for lunch and was impressed. Great priced burger and chips with a good selection of drinks (I really enjoyed my lager). Atmosphere was good. the place was fairly busy. The staff were friendly and attentive but not over the top. Everything was great - would recommend.

Found this restraunt when we had a break in southport as it was on taste card, meal was fantastic and nice to try new dishes, service was great and we would definitely go again! Absolutely fantastic. The Girl from Thailand was so so friendly. The food was absolutely amazing. Not to mention about the Romanian lady at the counter; She was so chatty and kind and so so nice. I really loved it. I tried some other Romanian restaurants before, but this is the best. Value for money. I couldn’t finish what we’ve ordered because the portions are proper portions like In Romania😂, and the taste is 100% Romanian. Warm environment and a relaxing place. One of the best independent restaurants on Lord Street, certainly the best value, and most definitely the best customer service, that's for sure. I've often wandered past and mistaken the place for being small, with no free tables. But that's because you can't see the upper tier tables until you're inside, and it's those upper tier tables where I first fell in love with the place. The staff really know how to go the extra mile for a customer, and it's a joy to ask their advice and try the healthy seasoned Romanian pork sausage meat wrapped in cabbage leaves (if nothing else) because once you've tried them (cooked on the open flame wood fire grill) you won't settle for anything less ever again. But my favourite (both for taste and for value) is the Romanian style all day full breakfast, complete with toasted one inch thick homemade bread (and the free pot of tea added for good measure). I'm going back this weekend for the barbecued steak dinner (just the tantalising aroma alone should draw you in from outside) but to say I've now developed a real taste for Romanian cooking is an understatement. And to see the sheer joy in the owner's eyes when you realize just how good their homemade fare truly is, is to understand the pride with which they spoil their customers. A very worthy five star assessment, and a restaurant I'd truly and honestly recommend to anyone when window shopping around Southport's main High Street ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐10/10

Tried a new Romanian styled sausage with side salad and mustard today, and I wasn't disappointed. It was delicious. Experimented with two light Romanian cakes straight afterwards which were beautifully fresh and extraordinarily tasty, complimented my cuppa and really made my day. Terrific place to try the unusual and exotic. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Amazing place, brought me memories of the taste from home. The staff was extremely friendly food was fast and looked amazing as well as tasting fresh and delicious. Their desserts are also amazing. Huge portions for good prices and everything tastes fresh.

Disliked it. I had steak and fries both terrible. Firstly I ordered grilled steak and got some fried pork, the🍟 were done in burned oil so impossible to eat as it tasted very wired. I felt sick all afternoon after trying them. The service was also bad, we didn't even get any cutleries we had to ask as we obviously couldn't eat with our hands, toilets were not clean, there was a bad smell in the entire building, I guess it was from the burned oil or something, anyway really bad overall. We went there because we saw some nice reviews and as we haven't had Romanian food in a while said to try but it's not worth it. Wouldn't recommend it. Spend your money elsewhere, where you can actually eat what you are paying for and you don't get sick from the improper cooked food.

This place has a very basic setup. Not fine dining by any means but it’s laid back and all of the staff are very pleasant and welcoming. I got the Lamb Chops and my Cousin got some King Combo or something. To be honest, we’d been on the booze so couldn’t tell you the name. We got some bread and dips to start, you could tell these were home made. Lovely. My chops were cooked to perfection and came with chips and a nice pickle cabbage salad. Washed down with a Pepsi Max. Very good value for money and would define go again.

Truly amazing food, sit in kebab shop is a great idea, fresh bread was divine, dips salad all fresh and crisp, had the family special, a very large feast grilled fresh all sat on lovely rice 🍚, can't wait to return

If you are going to have just one kebab per year! This is the place to have one! I say this because I come to the Southport fireworks September every year, and finish with a kebab here. It is fresh and tasty,and far better than the kebab shops near me back at home in Liverpool! 🙂

Just had 2 times chicken shish and donner, all the salad and a cheesy chips. Salad fresh and plenty of variety, meat was cooked beautifully. Very good. Highly recommend

If you fancy a takeaway don't go to anywhere other than The Turkish Grill House. We decided to sit in and eat. I had Chicken shish and he had donner meat and chips. The meals were delicious. Cooked to perfection, presented well and the portions were large even though I ordered a small one. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. I really enjoyed the whole experience. Please give them a try, you won't be disappointed

I went to Nata Factory when it opened on Friday 16th October and I bought a Portuguese tart, it's the best one I've tried by far! Lovely staff and such a great location! I will definitely visit again and try some of the other products on the menu.

Muito Obrigado! Fantásticos pastéis de nata, a real taste of Madeira and Portugal. Was so happy to discover the Nata factory today when visiting my niece and Southport. Was wonderful to have a quick chat with lovely lady from my favourite place in the world - Madeira, I ate one pastel de nata within seconds of leaving the store, and have another saved for the morning with my coffee, true Portuguese style. Having recently visited Portugal and enjoyed the local Natas I was delighted to find this little gem of a bakery. The Pastel de Nata were as good as any in Portugal and the service was warm and genuine.

The staff were so helpful talking us through all the different sweet and savoury treats! We loved the things we tried, can highly reccomend the custard tarts, chequer board sponge and the pepperoni filled baguette! Great take out service so perfect spot during lockdown to get something yummy and homemade!

Love this coffee shop. It's my Sunday treat. Great tasting coffee. Counter staff are always vey welcoming. Plus it's significantly cheaper than the coffee chains.

Happened upon this shop when visiting a friend in Southport. Bought a tofu curry to take away and it was delicious. The flavours were so subtle.

I actually can't express how good the homecooked meals from the fridge are. The masaman and Thai green curry boxes are truly incredible. One box is plenty for two people but you could easily eat one each :P we now go here instead of getting a takeaway! Much tastier, healthier and less expensive . Wooo!

The best Thai restaurant in Southport. No comparison. Simple, no frills and utterly delicious. There is some variation in ingredients from what you find in Thailand but all the flavours and finesse are there. If you like real Thai food, don’t go anywhere else. Friendly staff. A+++

Went today for the first time and it won't be the last! Had been recommended to me however not been able to come until today. We ordered off the lunch menu, thai sweet and sour pork and the jungle curry. £18 for two meals including rice with a drink! Perfect amount for lunch for 2. Loved the vibe and decor, thank you for a delicious meal!!

I ordered a take out around 11pm. I’ve had food from this establishment before. I only eat chicken and veggie, so unsure of the other meat options. I got a veggie pizza, which was hot and delicious. I also ordered garlic mushrooms, very tasty. No complaints from me, for the food I ordered tonight 👍

Fantastic little Bistro. Had the 3 course lunch which was good value. Really solid cooking, not sure how they turn it out of the tiny kitchen but they do. Must be hot in there! Really good wine list with fair prices. Staff were really nice and restaurant has a nice relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely recommend and look forward to returning soon.

Had an amazing meal at Bistro 21. We had a voucher given to us for the restaurant and we didn't really know anything about the place. It was a Thursday evening, and the delicious tasting menu and great service turned what had been a really bad day into a good one. We will be back! Highly Recommended! The restaurant is quite small so its best to book.

No menus, food delish but chips anaemic when i asked if i could have them cooked a little more the woman nearly bit my head of in broken english...we only do fresh chips i said yes i know but can i have them a little more cooked she said no we dont do brown chips do u want to cancel ur order....i was the only customer in its not like they were busy i was gobsmacked haaaa jyst WOW!!! good job the foods good white chips it is...i said i better get my mum to get the chip pan out then

We have been using the Chinese Kitchen as our 'go to' for years. The Chinese food is always good, hot, freshly cooked and plenty of it. Can't speak for the English meals, or chips as we tend to go to Enlish chippy for those. It remains good value for money even when prices have gone up. The only negatives are the lack of card payment facility, they don't do deliveries, and they aren't on any of the food Apps either. The other bone of contention is when they are shut for whatever reason. The phone line just rings and rings. This happened to us a couple of times and we assumed they were too busy to take phone orders. However, when we drove over there we found a sign in the window apologising for being shut. A wasted journey and disappointment. It would make more sense to leave a recorded voice message saying they are shut to avoid this. All that being said, it's still our favourite Chinese for quality and value.

Chicken Soup - literally no flavour lumps of jelly within it Hot and Sour Soup - inedible, funny smell, literally spat it out Salt and pepper chicken - looked good tasted ok Special Vermicelli - looked ok, tasted ok Salt and pepper chips - poor, soggy and had a weird almost sweet flavour Chips and sausage - fine Prawn crackers - fine Will not be ordering again thanks

Best Chinese takeaway we've had. Been going here since start of lockdown and we've never been disappointed. Always yummy and good price. We've tried their fish and chips and it's was the best fish and chips so far.
