I had a wonderful experience here. The food was absolutely delicious, and the coffee was expertly made—a real treat. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the service. The staff was so friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. I'll definitely be back soon!

Still my favourite coffee shop in the UK, hands down, even after first visiting 16yrs ago. I live over an hour away so always make sure I visit whenever I'm in Liverpool. A lovely chilled atmosphere if you want to people watch with a coffee and get some work done. The coffee is smooth but strong and each one tastes the same every time I go. It is the only place I will order a flat white because it's simply that good. Normally, I'd want something bigger. Make sure to visit next time you're in Liverpool and you won't be disappointed.

We headed here for breakfast after seeing a TikTok review and weren't disappointed. We had the Sausage Buoy with an added hash brown and a latte. Coffee was lovely, food was even better. Staff were really nice. We had to wait a little but it was a busy service and you can see the chef cooking everything from scratch. Nice selection of pastries and cakes. Not cheap but worth paying for the quality food and coffee. Definitely recommend. 👌🏼

We came in this morning and were greeted by the staff who were all friendly and helpful. The coffee was great as well as the food! 🥯 The service was amazing and the shop itself is lovely, seating outside and plenty of seating indoors too! Thank you to the lovely staff 🤍

Kind service + beautiful coffee + vibes! I don't know his name but the cute guy with longish black hair makes one of the best coffees in Liverpool. If you don't like loud, maybe takeaway/sit outside.

me and my partner stumbled across this place and it definitely was a good choice. I had the poached egg on sourdough add sausage and a portion of beans. probably the best eggs i have ever eaten. My boyfriend had the BSC fry up he enjoyed but little on the salty side. the beans were more on the tomato side but the flavour was incredible. staff were beyond friendly and the place had a great atmosphere. drink options were a oat milk chai, a tea and orange juice. this was all £46 which was quite pricey but would have been better if the sourdough was served with 2 peices of bread instead of 1. overall experience was 9/10 - we will be back 🫶🏻

I had the chance to visit Bold Street Coffee, and it definitely lived up to its reputation. It immediately reminded me of the local coffee shops in Portland, Oregon, with its warm ambiance, friendly baristas, and a focus on great coffee rather than unnecessary frills. I went for a Batch Coffee, and it was smooth, well-balanced, and full of flavor—exactly what I look for in a solid, no-nonsense cup of coffee. No bitterness, just a rich and satisfying brew that showcases their dedication to quality beans and proper brewing techniques. As for food, I tried the Egg Buoys, and they were spot-on. The eggs were fluffy, the bread was fresh, and the combination of flavors made for a satisfying, hearty breakfast that paired perfectly with the coffee. It’s the kind of meal that feels simple yet crafted with care, much like the best coffee shops back in Portland. The overall experience was great—whether you’re looking for a quick caffeine fix or a place to sit down and enjoy your morning. The space has that mix of minimalist design and cozy charm, making it feel welcoming without trying too hard. Definitely a place I’d come back to.

Visited for Wirral Classic Car show 2nd year to see if any better & answer is NO, we arrived at Clatterbridge roundabout at 1:00pm to get to field were parking was at 1:45, many cars over heating including our classsic car & alot turning round & gave up. Traffic managment is not working!!!! - Once in show some classic cars were already leaving such a shame because some really nice cars!!! Food in cafe very expensive.

Quaint farm shop, cafe that welcomes dogs. Lovely food. Nice outdoor area where events often played. Good parking, even some pigs to look at. Overall excellent place

Great fun, we went for pumpkin picking with our 2 year old, lots of spaces to take pictures and not overrun with staff telling you what to do (like other places) so there’s a great element of freedom, which is fab cause everyone wants to do different things. Only feedback I would give, is the car park wasn’t really being run very well. They were making people wait cause there was no spaces, then when we walked through, the cars were so far apart - could have got 15 more cars in if everyone parked a bit more sensibly. Maybe ask your attendants to ensure this is adhered to, won’t have to keep people waiting then. But overall, lots to do, fair prices and great spots to take pics, drinks and stuff available and places to sit and relax, so could spend a good couple of hours there. Thanks for making a great place to visit!

Claremont farm is one of the most beautiful places to visit in Bebington, Wirral. Pick your own strawberries is a wonderful activity to enjoy in the summer with your family. And the strawberries are delicious and fresh. I love the farm as there is also a farm shop where u can buy fresh products including fruits, vegetables and flesh. The farm also organises various activities throughout the year. Love this place.

Went to support the Mowgli dog show in aid of Claire House. First time i’d been and wasn’t disappointed . Plenty of food outlets , nice areas to sit and have a bite to eat or drink. Met Nisha Katona who always takes time to chat and have a pic taken, lovely lady. Nice day out and glad to support such a worthy cause.

Back yet again , great local and imported farm produce and an excellent coffee shop. Called in for coffee and cake then shopped for pack of exceptional granola plus barbecue food , burgers and sausages . Fascinating array of local fruit, vegetables, meat and specialty foods . Well worth a visit.

The food is always delicious, which is why we continue to visit. However, the overall experience has changed significantly. The café no longer accepts bookings for groups under six people, table service has been removed, and the drinks menu was not up to date during our visit. The atmosphere felt chaotic, with long queues and confusion that seemed to stem from the new walk-in system. There was no communication from staff regarding estimated waiting times, which would have helped customers decide whether to queue or return later. When we finally reached the front, we received no welcome and were made to feel like an inconvenience throughout the process. The exception was one lovely member of staff with long red hair who was warm and helpful. Her service stood out in contrast to the rest of the experience.

Not a great experience. No real information (including opening hours) on their website so had to trust Google. Went for breakfast, ordered a panini but was told they don't serve them until "later". Coffee was fine but was served in a filthy plastic beaker (see pic). We were there at about 8:20 and the toilet was already grubby. Don't think I'll be rushing back.

Stopped in on a cold December day for some hot chocolate and a breakfast sandwich. It was very quiet, laid back, with local clientele from the surrounding schools and apartments. Service dog friendly. Hot chocolate was delicious and ham and cheese toastie wasn’t too heavy - crispy and tasty. It’s worth noting I don’t know if they make it fresh, but it was nice either way.

i LOVE this place! Became my regular shop after only a couple of visits. All the staff, notably Esme, Scarlett, and Mason, create such a great atmosphere to come to work/ meet in, even remembering your name and regular order🫶 and the coffee is THE BEST, that always helps too

Ideal place for a quality coffee! Never tried any of the bites but they look tasty too! They sell all sorts of coffee related things, consider getting on of their reusable coffee cups and get a discount on your coffee in future!

Lovely Spot in the middle of a cool urban artsy area! Funky, bright space with great music and a good vibe. Food was delicious, eggs were particularly yummy, my companions mind was blown by the beans! Huge coffee and drinks menu, plenty of choice and all really high quality! 💜

As someone who has anxiety around eating out alone, I thought I would try somewhere local and found coffee and fandisha and I'm glad I did. I walked in the place felt so cosy and homely and was quite quiet. I ordered the cutest hot chocolate I have ever had which also tasted gorgeous and a jerk chicken sourdough grill, which was so jucy and flavourful, and tasted just like the jerk chicken my sister used to make for me while I was growing up. The price for this was very reasonably priced as well! I will definately be back again! Thank you for the amazing food and drinks and for making me feel comfortable!

Gorgeous small hidden gem of a brunch spot in the Baltic triangle. Despite living in Liverpool for the past 4 years I’ve only just found out about coffee and fandisha now - I think it will become one of my favourites! Lovely chilled atmosphere, the interior is great (minimalistic rustic chic with some Scandinavian influence) and the staff are fantastic and so warming. I had the long black coffee which was delicious and the bodega wrap which was fantastic. I’m sad it’s taken me 4 years to realise this place existed but I’m glad I’ve finally found it and can’t wait to return :)

Googled somewhere for breakfast and Google took us here , eventually! Best to put address in map as link takes you a very long route. A small establishment that has a limited menu but what they do have us very tasty, well presented and served by some very friendly staff. If we had found this place earlier in our trip we would have gone daily instead of some places in Albert Dock. Thanks, we will be back some day.

One of the very best coffee shops in Liverpool (likely the best we've visited while we were here). The staff was amazingly friendly to begin with, the food very delicious and the coffee even better. Their newly refurbished place looks great and we'd come back here anytime. The location is a little more remote and hence the quieter atmosphere which we very much enjoyed after a night without sleep in our "party hotel". I truly recommend this place.

Truly incredible home made bakes made to perfection. I've tasted a variety of the bakes here and thr banana bread is outstanding. I would consider myself a coffee connoisseur and the coffee is here is the best in Liverpool, without doubt. I recommend the filter coffee, black. I also bought a few bags of their Guatemalan coffee beans to brew when I'm back home in London! Truly impressive coffee shop.

Picked here for brunch as the venue looked cool. The atmosphere and music inside was good. However, waited 30 minutes for coffee, order taken incorrectly, then an hour for food. Food was nothing special and portions very small for the money. Wouldn’t recommend.

Lots of choice for coffee and food. Till is located upstairs, also good to note that the specials board is hung up at the top, which would have been better if it was made more aware of as there was items on there that I would have loved to have tried. Having said that I got the onion and cheese toasties which was delicious and reminiscent of French onion soup! Tried the reuben toastie which was also a good choice! Matcha latte was made well and not disappointed!

Nice coffee! Best banana bread I’ve had in a VERY long time. Our takeaway coffee took a lil bit to come out which unfortunately gave us lots of time to look at the ceiling which is quite dirty… lots of black (hopefully) dust hanging off the ceiling and the wires which is hanging above the coffee machine, cakes stand and where the food is being served from. Very lovely place but the cleanliness stressed me out a little.

Really lovely spot for a coffee and a bit of laptop work. Hidden down an alley parallel to Bold Street. Staff are very friendly, the atmosphere is very inviting and cool, lighting is warm, music is immaculate (Chet Baker!). The food looked lovely and the coffee was well prepared and delicious.

It's not the liveliest place i've ever been, felt like we had to whisper as it's mostly people working in there; but the coffee is unreal and the bagels/sweet treats were goooods.

Mother Espresso, nicely tucked away from the chaotic foot traffic of Bold Street, is a welcome retreat for any coffee enthusiast. I thoroughly enjoy working here, as the atmosphere is welcoming and it has many seats to ensure availability. On that topic, my only feedback would be suggesting some cushions as the seats are quite uncomfortable.

Mother Espresso in Liverpool is a hidden gem! The food is amazing – the Everything Bagel with smoked salmon is perfectly balanced, and the cinnamon bun is a warm, comforting treat. Their vegan breakfast is also excellent. Great coffee and a cozy atmosphere – highly recommend!

The food is excellent quality with better than ample portion size. Another bonus is the court yard and dog's welcome. Pity that pizza service does not start till 4pm

Tried the pepperoni pizza and Estrella pint deal on a Sunday. The menu advertised it as £10, but I was charged £12 even after double checking, which was a bit confusing, but not a huge issue. The pizza itself was fantastic, and the honey chilli sauce was a great touch. I’ll definitely be coming back next time I’m in the area!

Brittany’s customer service was above and beyond in helping with what ever I needed. The customer service couldn’t be better. Bec was also so helpful. Such a lovely and friendly team. Couldn’t recommend enough!!

Went for a drink as it was a hot day. Me and a friend got a matcha and iced latte - one of the best we have had. Didnt get food but the food in the glass display looked delish. The outdoor courtyard is nicely decorated and staff very friendly.

My favourite bakery to visit whenever I'm in Liverpool! The croissants are amazing - delicious and great value for money. The staff are always lovely, and it's a perfect place to sit in, especially if you're a dog lover. It's a popular spot for owners popping in with their pups.

Outstanding pastries, huge items, hand crafted in front of you. Friendly service in a welcoming atmosphere, perfect place to grab a bite and a coffee before immersing yourselves in the history of this great city! Highly recommended, would give more stars if possible as they love dogs!!

Liverpools #1 bakery. The best freshly baked blueberry cream cheese croissant ever. Also very famous for their hot chocolate. Various options of other sweet and savory baked goods. The bakery’s got a wonderful view of Royal Albert docks. Definitely recommended.

Absolutely excellent! The croissants here are as good as you'll ever get. The coffee was excellent too! Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back again 👍😁 Should add - I'd already eaten half the Croissant when I took the picture... Couldn't wait! 🤣 If I had to really nitpick. It was a bit mental in there with people and not many places to sit. But what do you expect, it's a small place selling top tier snacks. It's going to be busy! 👍

The pastries were good value for money but what they called croissants was pretty far from Belgian/French croissants. They almost lacked butter and the texture was not as layered. It was still tasty but the main trait resembling croissants was the shape. They ran out of all the savoury options 1h before closure. Maybe I could be back to try something savoury but unlikely with the sweet options

We had heard about this place previous and decided to see what the hype was about......we were NOT disappointed!!! The pastries are unreal. Real decent price for something thats made so fresh, plus they're absolutely huge! The taste was incredible. I have never had a pastry like that before. Will most definitely be visiting again. It was fantastic.

Unbelievable pastries. Its that simple. I think these are probably the best pastries I have ever tried. And its a super fun way to try different things. The place doesn't have a menu as such and the items are all fresh and made infront of you. Whatever they are selling that day is what you can choose which means you might have to try something a bit different but everything is amazing. If you're in the are go down. Yes its a bit more expensive than other places but so worth it.

Exceptional Bagels!!! Make every effort you can to stop here when in Liverpool, by far the best bagels I have had in the UK!!! And the selection is incredible, from the types and flavours of bagels to the fillings!! DO NOT JUST WALK PAST, STOP AND ENJOY. We stopped for breakfast and I still can't stop thinking about them. I ordered the cream cheese and smoked salmon on and Dill and pickle bagel, this was my far the most superior cream cheese and salmon bagel I have ever had, full of flavour and they didn't skimp on the fillings. We also got the mega stack on a everything bagel, and this is the one after a night in town. Crispy bacon, sausage patty, hash browns and cheese sauce, absolutely delectable 🤤 and the everything bagel was superb!!! This is a propa bagel, springy to the feel, has that nostalgic chew that a bagel should have and they taste incredible, honestly the best I've had in a long time!! The coffee was really good, strong and full of flavour, just what you need in the morning and the service was spectacular, so friendly and full of smiles 😁 i can't wait to get back already!!!

Really cool little place. It was a bit of a walk from where we were staying and a little out of the way but was certainly worth the trip! Great choice for breakfast and the bagels were delicious. Soft and chewy, the perfect texture and great flavour. Loaded with good quality, tasty fillings and the salted tots were an absolute delight! Really friendly service too and we didn't have to wait long for our food or drinks. Would highly recommend and we would definitely visit again whenever we are back in Liverpool

Absolutely gorgeous food and the loveliest staff ever. The lady with black hair who was in on 22nd of Oct 2025 brought me so much joy! It feels very welcoming in here! Thought id treat myself after passing my theory test and come in to eat as id only ever uber ordered it a couple years ago. Safe to say its even more delicious than i remember it!! Also if you are a student make use of their wed & thursday £10 deals, so so good.

The Bagelry is well worth a trip if you’re looking for bagels or bagel sandwiches in Liverpool. Getting good bagels outside the US is nearly impossible, but these were easily on the level of a NY bagel shop. Prices are a little high, but you get what you pay for! Visited twice during my 6-week stay in Liverpool, but I wish I had gone more. Great spot!

Came for lunch on a warm day. Got a takeaway to go sit in a nearby park. Wow. They were so good and so full and filling. We both only managed half. Such a shame we live nearly 3 hours away, but perhaps a good thing or I would be eating here daily 🤤🤤

A really popular bagel shop, a short walk from Chinatown. Really delicious food, good balanced flavours and the bagel was really nice. Staff were super nice and the atmosphere seemed good. I was really disappointed in the portion size though, the sandwich I got seemed really empty compared to those I saw whilst waiting in the restaurant and in pictured reviews here. For £8.75, I expected it to fill me up a bit more, really feels like I've been ripped off there. Disappointing ☹️

Ropes and Twines is a fantastic spot for coffee lovers, especially if you’re a fan of delicious brews and banana bread. They also offer a selection of wines—though I haven’t tried them myself. There are choices for the espresso bases, and they have V60 options for filter coffee enthusiasts. Beyond drinks, they serve sandwiches, cold cuts, and of course, their famous banana bread to pair perfectly with your beverage. Although the shop is small, the cozy vibe and friendly staff make it a must-visit. Hope you enjoy Ropes and Twines as much as I did!

I'm new to natural wine, The guy was super helpful. I had no idea what i was talking about and nor did he. He recomemded me the best bottle of wine we have ever drunk 'matassa blossom' we will 1000% be regulars in here now. Quality service amazing vibes

Popped in for a quick lunchtime wine. Had a glass of the orange wine and it was sensational- best I’ve ever had. Also shared the Brie with my friend which was completely delicious. Lovely place lovely staff. Would love to come back for wine club. 🍷✨

Super cute café with comfy seating and a nice outdoor area—perfect for chilling. The staff were super friendly and all smiles, which made the vibe even better! Tried the iced latte and mocha (both with oat milk), but honestly… kinda flavourless? Almost watered down. It did the job and satisfied the craving, but would I order it again? Probably not. That said, still a nice spot to hang out, just wish the drinks had more oomph!

This is a delightful little coffee shop which manages to feel like a friend’s house and a cool venue at the same time. The coffee and the tea were delicious, with plenty choice for both drinks and cakes. They don’t do savoury food, but they do amazing cake. Almost all of them were vegan,too. I got the best almond croissant I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to go back.

I can't believe i haven't wrote a review for the best coffee shop in the entire wirral! Bloomies is just absolutely amazing and has only gotten even better after the new ownership! The bakery side is just beautiful, I still need to try the Guinness stuff though!! The coffee is to die for but the matcha is the cherry on top 🩷 Nothing but love for Bloomies 🩷

10/10 will come again. Absolutely loved this café. I came in for lunch and had the focaccia and tomato chutney ploughmans with an oat milk latte. My sandwich was gorgeous, homemade and really tasty and my coffee was perfect. Staff are really friendly, helpful and quick. I bought a snake plant whilst there as there's a big selection of plants to choose from along with items made by local artists. Bright and gorgeous space, dog friendly and my new fav spot in Bebington.

Little gem of a coffee shop! It’s our go to for our morning coffee when we’re in Port Sunlight, super dog friendly, my lab always enjoys cuddles and a treat from the staff when we go in. Staff are always so kind and smiley! Yet to try the food but it always looks great.

The design is a good representation of how a coffee house should look like in 2020 which runs by young energetic management. Still warm and elegant. The coffee prices and quality similar like Costa's but it's prepared with better care. You can buy cakes and simple food although I did not try so no opinion. Would visit again +.

Been meaning to go here for a long time. Finally popped in for an iced coffee to go after work. Amazing coffee, the shop looks beautiful and love that they support other local businesses, selling plenty of crafts etc

Cannot rate this place highly enough! The food is amazing! And the staff are so friendly and welcoming. We have had so many amazing meals! The eggs Benedict, the famous triple, the afternoon tea and not to mention the home made cakes! Dogs are welcome outside, they used to be welcome inside but there have been issues with some dogs so it can’t be helped, as dog owners ourselves we totally understand that, sometimes it can’t be helped. There are tables outside where your furry friend can still get a drink and some complimentary biscuits (our dog loves them!) Regardless of dog or no dog, this is our favourite eatery on the wirral!

Me and my wife visit Our Coffee Shop fairly often, and it’s always a great experience. The food and cakes are absolutely delicious every time. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner today, and you can really see how passionate she is about the food and the business! it truly shows in the quality and care that goes into everything. An amazing place that we’ll keep coming back to!

Our Coffee Shop is the perfect place to have breakfast, brunch, lunch, hot drinks and delicious cakes. Their service is unreal and everyone there is super friendly. The food is outstanding. It is no wonder they’re winning awards for their food, it’s out of this world! I had a fantastic breakfast and was under £10!!!!! All cooked fresh, meat and eggs sourced locally and I don’t know what angel bakes that bread but honestly it’s divine!!! PS…… yes the eggs where cooked perfectly! Gorgeous orange yolks, runny and delicious 🤤

Excellent find. We usually use another establishment nearby but this will be our go to place when in the area. Excellent sandwich with plenty of filling and served with salad and large slice of very tasty cake.

This is a new discovery. LOVE the place. Great value for money, dog friendly 🧡, delicious food, gorgeous fresh bakes and I mean gorgeous. Lovely, friendly and attentive front of house lady. The decor is cute and quirky. I'm looking forward to my next visit already. One issue though, I can't say no to beautiful homemade bakes 😂 2023 update. I've had the pleasure of visiting OCS many times since my first visit. Its always a lovely visit. Their bakes are delightfully delicious. Muffs sausages, say no more! Beautiful fresh local ingredients cooked to your liking if you have any specific requirements. If you like crispy bacon, ask for it that way etc etc. I love the decor and always have. The owner and her team are truly fabulous. I think its time I try their legendary Manchester tart! I'm late to the party 😂 And they baked a stunning looking plum/vanilla cake yesterday so the hubz will be sent in tomorrow haha. I've had their chocolate cake in different forms the most, the best chocolate cake by a mile. Keep up the fantastic work guys! I can't call myself a regular because I don't come weekly or monthly but I've been many times and sometimes popped by for a cake takeaway. I don't eat like I used to following some very life changing surgery in October but I'll be back soon to sit in for a beautiful decaff tea and a muffs sausage haha 😆. It's a great thing for people like me, I can now pick a few things separately on the extras part of the menu. Dog friendly too, always a win. Unless you're the lady that was there 2022 Easter time and she screamed the place down because this gorgeous little bundle dared sniff her as her owner waited for his take out coffee. Stylish espresso place. We had a flat white. The coffee had very little acidity ( which I prefer) but lacked bit of a darker Italian spark. Definitely a very nice place in the beautiful Lark lane.

Crosby Coffee on Lark Lane is consistently spot on. The coffee is quality every single time, the staff are friendly without trying too hard, and the place has a really good atmosphere whether you’re grabbing a quick flat white or sticking around to get some work done. They know what they’re doing and it shows. Easily the best spot on Lark Lane for proper coffee.

Dropped by on-route to Crosby beach and chanced upon this place. Friendly barista in a bright airy space. Had a cuppa great decaf flat white - chocolatey with good dose of coffee sweetness. Typical of colombia bean flavor. Nice!

This was my first time at Crosby Coffee, and I was instantly captivated by this lovely café. It’s not very spacious, but you’ll have no trouble finding a cozy spot to chat with friends, focus on work, or enjoy a good book. I tried the V60, and it was excellent. I got a distinct fruity note of apple—highly recommended if you’re looking for a great V60 experience! The café provides Wi-Fi and a restroom, and the staff are friendly and helpful. If I lived nearby, I’d definitely become a regular!

A great variety of well-roasted beans, all of which are dated so you can purchase them at their freshest. The brewing skills of the baristas are of a very high level. You can tell that there is a clear ethos and passion for coffee here! Best on the lane!

Why 4 stars?? I visit a lot. The coffee served is excellent. Maybe the only place in Liverpool where they can actually make a cappuccino! I’m not joking because elsewhere you just get a latte. Cakes too good for my cholesterol. So why 4 stars? Well - I bought a large bag of Honduras coffee for ££££. They ground it for aeropress. But the grind was way too coarse. So it tasted insipid. But even when I have reground to an appropriate level the taste is minimal. And I like a sublet coffee, aroma good though.

Ripoff! I ordered a “large” iced latte, had to wait 15 minutes, and then I got a cup that wouldn’t even classify as small at Strabucks, half of it was ice of course. For that price? Ridiculous! I literally had to go to another coffeeshop behind the corner, got a regular size and it was bigger than their “large”. Do better!

I have never been to an establishment where all of the waiting staff were impersonal, borderline rude. The waitress could not be bothered (being polite) to divide the bill to our request. The presentation and the portion size of the food we were all served was of low standard with zero presentation. The toilets stunk of heavy urine like one would smell on a dual carriageway lay by. This establishment is definitely not value for money or service. There is also 7.5% automatic service charge! There are plenty more establishment's nearby whom would appreciate your custom. Would not recommend.

When here for the first time, lady at the front was friendly and helpful, after that a young Asian lady took over, and it went downhill from there. Her voice was barely audible. She did not add jam as a side to the order for toast nor butter, nor did she convey that different bread was available but costed more, or soya also costed more, either way when we sought clarification for the bread from another server, the manager turned up at our table, his attitude was quite belligerent as was his stance. He didn't even resolve the situation as he forgot to add the order,which actually favoured us. The jam should not have been an issue but naturally Leaf made it one. The food was good, so the sourdough toast and jam was excellent, as was the taste of the scrambled egg on granary bread, albeit the egg was cold. The flatwhite was good equally. The bill already had a service charge added, to which we asked for this to be removed as the level of service provided did not merit this charge. Even though the food was good I would not dine here again, sadly the worst service I have encountered for a long time, with a turnip of a manager not dealing with a situation in a calm manner. Staff not trained properly.

I was really excited to try Leaf. I’d heard great things and the place definitely looks lovely inside, with a nice vibe and a cool, laid-back atmosphere. We were a party of four, and after a bit of a wait (understandable since it was busy), we finally got to order. Two of us got exactly what we asked for, but I had ordered the falafel on sourdough and was instead brought a falafel flatbread. When I pointed it out, the waiter took the plate away, only to return a couple of minutes later insisting that it was what I ordered and that the flatbread was actually sourdough. She even said I could have an extra slice of sourdough on the side if I wanted. I had to explain (very politely!) that this didn’t make sense at all, especially since I could literally see that it was the exact same flatbread my friend had ordered—but with falafel instead of chicken. Turns out, they’d merged mine and my friend’s orders into one dish somehow. Meanwhile, my friend who had ordered the chicken flatbread was still waiting, and it took another 20 minutes for hers to arrive. By the time she got her food, the rest of us had already finished eating, so what was meant to be a quick lunch turned into a 2+ hour ordeal. To be fair, the food was tasty and they did take one dish off the bill, which we appreciated. But the whole experience was a bit disappointing—especially being told with a straight face that the most flatbread-looking flatbread was actually sourdough (lol). Overall, nice spot and good food, but probably best to avoid during peak busy times unless you’re happy to take your time (a lot of it).

Booked in here for first date day meal following the birth of our son, having done the same after our daughter was born a few years back. Apart from the wait to be seated when there were a large number of empty tables ready to be used the service was good. Once seated drinks and food orders taken quickly. Coffees arrived very quickly and food shortly after. Neither disappoint and make up for the wait at the start. One salt and pepper chicken burger and one steak baguette went down a treat. Would recommend. Repeat customer and will be returning again!

We came on a Saturday at 6:05 to have a hot chocolate before heading back home after a walk and they almost rejected to take our order because they were “closed” until I pointed at their door where it was clearly shown 7pm as the closing time. They only allowed us to sit outside and the white hot chocolate that we ordered was practically hot water with whipped cream on top. Worst hot chocolate I've ever had 👎🏼 You are better off looking for another place on the same street

Honestly an amazing stop for some lunch !! I got the hot honey halloumi salad which was absolutely amazing, paired with the garlic bread which was also very nice. It made for a light delicious dinner, plus the service was exceptional, the lady serving us was really friendly❤️ me and my friends all loved it xxx

We came here for lunch on a nice warm day out to Sefton park. The place was really busy but we managed to get a seat outside. The staff were really nice and friendly. I had the Caesar salad with anchovies and my partner had the fish finger butty. We both had a cappuccino and 2 diet cokes the total bill was £39.

I do not normally repeat food places when travelling cause I like to try different things, but this place was so good that we went twice during our stay in Liverpool! Staff was lovely and friendly, quick service, and food was delicious. Fair prices for the quality of the food! Dog friendly, easy to find parking spots nearby and there is a nice park close by to have a stroll afterwards. The street where it is located is very cool with many restaurants. I really enjoyed the vibe!

Amazing place. I visited Pippin’s with my brother and my dog on our first time down Lark Lane. My brother is a coffee and tea fan and i’m a cocktail girl - finding somewhere we both like is always a struggle but we settled for here. We were joined by some drunk and opinionated strangers on our table and when the staff noticed my brother was getting uncomfortable they took all necessary steps to make sure he was okay, as well as having a friendly chat. I was unaware of the situation until we had left and he spoke to me, and I couldn’t be more grateful to the girls working for their help. This is a very safe space and it’s much appreciated. Amazing latte art and lovely cocktails too - we would absolutely return and will recommend!

Possibly the most delicious breakfast I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating! The eggs florentine was cooked perfectly and looked amazing. The breakfast burger was mouthwatering too. Presentation overall was 10/10 and the food couldn’t have been better! I will be back

Been coming here for a few months now and it’s our absolute favourite brunch spot. Food is always excellent and the Turkish eggs are spot on! I’m unsure of their names, but there is a taller male server with glasses who is an asset to your business he is always friendly. There is also sometimes an older lady whose name I am also unsure of who is also an asset to your business she is brilliant!

A real gem in West Kirby! We loved Aubergine Café so much, we visited twice during our stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home as soon as we walked in. The café itself is a beautiful, airy space with a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. The coffee was excellent, and the food was just as impressive—everything fresh and full of flavor. But the real standout? The cake! Absolutely delicious, with a great selection that made it hard to choose (so we didn’t—we came back for more!). Highly recommend for anyone looking for a warm, quality café experience in West Kirby. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town!

One of my favourite hidden gems. I come here regularly and the full English never disappoints – consistently tasty and well done. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed. It can get a little cramped during busy times, but it’s well worth a visit if you’re in the area and want a proper breakfast.

My wife and I visited this morning. Lovely setting and ambience. Ordered the Scouse and 1/2 Scouse breakfasts, the food was tasteful and very warm. Loved how the toast was buttered with butter instead of cheap like margarine. Asked for mushrooms to be extra cooked and too add a side tomato. We ordered a Cappuccino, nice touch as it came on a small tray with a Malted milk biscuit and glass of water. All in all, staff and food were awesome. Definitely recommend and would visit again for sure. 10/10

From the moment our party entered, we were greeted not only with the warmth and efficiency of highly professional staff, but also with a strikingly whimsical aesthetic that somehow blends playful irreverence with polished execution. Of particular note was the remarkable innovation of serving a luxurious milkshake in a miniature wheelie bin—a gloriously tongue-in-cheek nod to British suburban life that made our entire table erupt with joy. Quite frankly, one could not dream up a more inventive take on modern café presentation. The food was exemplary. Each sandwich was thoughtfully assembled, bursting with flavour and freshness. The accompanying crisps and coleslaw were perfectly judged. The milkshake (bin aside) was rich, indulgent, and generously adorned with whipped cream, marshmallows and sprinkles, served with the sort of flamboyant confidence one rarely encounters outside the West End. This small coffee shop is run by 3 charming young ladies who served us efficiently. The cappuccino wasn’t the best and I also had the full English breakfast. It gives the air of a local cafe but with city prices.

Very cute, cozy restaurant with delicious food! I went there as a French tourist for lunch. The staff was very nice and dynamic, the service was quick. I had a soup & toastie with coleslaw, and a dragonfruit latte. The famous coleslaw was indeed excellent! And the rest was great too. Prices were very affordable for this type of restaurant. The classic rocknroll music in the background was not loud, and of very good taste. 100% recommend - support your independant coffee shops!

One sip, and I was transported to a sun-dappled garden in Provence: perfectly balanced, not too sweet, with floral notes dancing on my tongue. We had my baby shower here in August and it was perfect. The booking process was relaxed, the afternoon tea arrangements were impressive and the food delicious. I love English high tea without the tea. This tea was worth it and we had the option of drinking coffee with the tea service. There were many options from savory to sweet. The best part for me was the scones that were served with clotted cream and pink gin jam. The only sad part of this experience is that we cannot find the pink gin jam that we now love in Spain (where we live).

Found this lovely gem on my trip to Liverpool. The tea was the best I had on my trip to the U.K. It was so good we went there twice. The grilled Haloumi salad was amazing! The scones were served warm with jam and cream. The white chocolate raspberry scone was delicious!

We went there this morning. We ordered 1 scambled eggs on brown toast, 1 avocado on toast… both food arrived without toasted bread, but just bread from the bag, which made my enthusiasm going down, cause I could have eat cold bread at home! Plus we ordered eggs Benedict, which supposed to be with ham, but they didn’t bring us the ham, only when my friend almost finished to eat, after we requested, they brought it! It’s not the first time we go there because my wife likes the place, but also last time, we requested extra cooked eggs cause she was pregnant, and it was everything but extra cooked!!!! Very disappointed

It's a while since I've visited here, the range of ice cream is very good but neither myself nor my daughter found it as flavourful as last year. Maybe something has changed with the recipes/suppliers.

As a whole this is a great cafe. The ice cream is some of the best on the Wirral. Coffee is made well and food it tasty. Feel it is let down however by level of staff at times and how well the cafe is managed during busy times. Have also noticed recently that the seating needs investment as is looking a little tired.

Our favorite restaurant in Liverpool and one of our favorites anywhere. We have been here many times, and everything we tried was excellent. On the drinks side, the smoothies are amazing, and my favorite is the peanut chocolate with a shot of espresso. Bonus - this place is dog friendly. They have dog treats and ice cream. The staff is super nice and the location is perfect.

Another beautiful café where you could close your eyes, pick anything off the menu, and know it’s going to be absolutely delicious—and the best part? It’s all vegan! The Vibe is more than just an amazing Vegan restaurant. It literally oozes good vibes. Staff are the most friendliest and welcoming. Food was the best Vegan food I have ever had, we went for brunch with friends and family.

Came for brunch and was very busy, although we didn't have to wait long to be seated but the food took longer time to be served, so I just ordered iced strawberry matcha and a potato dish menu. Loved the matcha very much! Strawberry tasted fresh, but the matcha had also a strong flavor. Nice staffs amd service. Comfortable seats arrangement and decor.

Lovely clean place, great staff and a wonderful atmosphere. The food is cooked very well but the coffee was disappointing, more training for the barista is needed. I don't want to be unfair to the staff here but it is honestly an over priced café. The food tasted nice but the breakfast was just under £6 and that comes with only 1 slice of toast, no tomatoes, no mushrooms, no hash browns.

We thought we would try here for breakfast last week and we were overall quite disappointed. The service is very slow, not one smile among staff serving & the food and drinks took ages. I definitely agree with other reviewers that there are better places to go along allerton road.

Lovely little place that serves amazing pancakes and milkshakes. Didn't get any pics of the food as we were so hungry. Bacon on toast was hot and really tasty. My partner had scrambled eggs on toast and our little boy had mini pancakes with Nutella. We also decided to get pancakes after seeing his! Really light and fluffy. Staff were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended 😊

We chose the Interesting Eating Company having looked at the menu on the website. According to the online menu, the food options looked great and we can confirm that the food was fantastic! Unfortunately however, the online menu is out of date and the prices when we got there were considerably higher than what we were expecting. In addition, we missed the small print and there is also a 15% service charge added to tables of 5 or more. As a family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids) we were charged this. I understand that large groups are more work for serving staff but I'm not sure that you should apply this to family units and 15% is a lot! Although a refund of this service charge was offered we chose to take the hit as it was our fault for not reading the small print. Overall the experience has left a bitter taste despite the wonderfully sweet pancakes! (In addition, my husband was also asked if he would like to leave a tip when he paid, after a 15% service charge had already been added. Hopefully that was an oversight on the servers part.) Can I please suggest that you update the menu on your website, accessed via the 'Our Menu' button, and maybe reconsider the criteria for the 15% service or at least ensure that parties (including families) are aware before they order.

Excellent cafe with plenty of choice for all dietary requirements. Hannah, despite being rushed off their feet did not show any signs of stress. There was also an Ukrainian menu for the adventurous clients. I have had 2 homemade lemonades and charged for 1. I had spilled the 1st glass over my trousers and 2nd consumed the way they're supposed to be. Delicious! Again Hannah was very supportive and understanding of my clumsiness. Very clean toilets, wheelchair accessible and pet friendly. Would highly recommend.

Best full English breakfast on the Wirral! Absolutely huge breakfast, ended up not eating anything else all day. All of it was lovely, in particular the sausages, black pudding and the homemade hash brown was fabulous. Coffee was really nice too. Dog friendly as well. Will definitely be returning. The interior of the cafe is a bit rustic, certainly not as fancy as some of the other local cafes, but the food was amazing and it was a little quieter as it's tucked away.

Since the new owners have arrived this place has become the best place in town. The food is of a very high standard, especially when they put on an evening. The duck dish I've had twice is one of the best meals I've had. I also love the opportunity to try Ukrainian and Slavic dishes, I especially love the Deruny (potato cakes with mushrooms) as a breakfast. The couple who run this place are super friendly too. The place feels clean compared to how it was and the food is fresh and so tasty.

The Sweet Pea does the best breakfast in the Wirral, such good value, you get so much food, table service, lots of choice, I love this place and highly recommend it!

6pm on a Saturday & the place had 11 customers, 9 just having coffee/tea. We stopped in for a snack. Staff were friendly enough. Fish finger butty, bowl of fries, a tea & a pint of brew dog. £27. The butty was the biggest disappointment. Thin white bread as if from a supermarket budget sliced loaf and over toasted. The 'fish fingers' were very dry & and overdone, like chewing on Gandhi's flip flop. Only 3 brew dog beers on tap, rest in bottles. Two, single toilets (one a baby changing area) which I think would be an issue if the place were near full. Food was overpriced & poor. Wasn't a good visit in summary.

We first went last Sunday, popped in for a drink with family. 10 of us, service was great and the drinks were fine. Where we went wrong was my wife and I returned on Thursday lunchtime for a bite to eat. We wish we hadn’t bothered. When ordering we were told that they’d run out of fries, surprising given they feature so heavily on the menu. I ordered the crispy garlic chicken flatbread (see photo) which was awful. Completely tasteless, hardly any chicken and a flatbread that had the texture and taste of a piece of cardboard. My wife had the club sandwich, again flavourless and presented on cheap white sliced bread accompanied by two low quality hash browns (the fries substitute). In summary, good for drinks but don’t bother with the food which is tasteless and of very poor quality. Zero stars for the food.

Looked good and busy so we stopped for lunch. We all had sandwiches where the bread was toasted but was rock hard. In the picture the Club looked good but was a real jaw workout to eat. Over £50 for 3 sandwiches and drinks didn’t feel good value.

We were in the area and decided to try this place. Asthetically the place looks nice, it’s in a great location on the dock. Service was good. We waited a bit longer than normal for breakfasts to arrive but this was fine. 2 of us ordered the full breakfast. Although it looked nice if you blinked, execution was all wrong. Overcooked hard bacon, hard cold sourdough bread. Very big watery mushroom and tepid baked beans. My Son ordered biscoff pancakes and it was smothered on the top layer with zero spread underneath. He said the pancakes were very doughy. All in all it was a £65 breakfast which is not cheap. The restaurant was busy I give them this but this aside they need to cook with a bit more care. Simple things us home cooks know could have made the whole breakfast pleasant. Sadly I wouldn’t return.

Honestly, the prices are quite crazy comparing to the meals. You pay 14£ for a small two pancakes with a bit of salmon and egg.. And it was so dry, i cannot recommend it for breakfast. Cappuccino it’s average. Staff is kind and the view is nice.

Service was good the employees are very friendly. This was my first time down in Liverpool and last time ever eating anywhere in Liverpool. I had the full english breakfast and while it tasted nice, I have now spent around an hour on the toilet and thrown up almost every item on my breakfast. Safe to say it’s given me food poisoning, waste of £20 and waste of time but I liked the service.

A lovely, quirky independent cafe, with delicious breakfasts, lunch coffee and cakes. They sell made on site sour dough bread, which is very reasonably priced and tastes delicious. The staff are lovely.

I've been here a few times recently and love it. They have different cakes for sale each day (which I've gotten a few times) and today I tried out one of their sandwiches (the falafel one), all of which has been delicious and at a fair price. The sandwich was £7.50 and the cakes (if my memory serves me correctly) were about £3.00-4.00 For anyone with dietary restrictions they have great vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options as well. I usually take my food to eat elsewhere but the atmosphere is very pleasant, and the staff are also really friendly 💗 I only noticed after paying that they are a cash-preferred business, but they do also have a card reader if you don't carry cash. I'll definitely be paying with cash in the future, it's worth the hassle to support such a great café 😊

Stumbled on this cafe and we were lucky it was just opening. Quickly filled up. Food was amazing and a lovely vibe, friendly staff, cool interiors. Just perfect. Best place in Liverpool for brunch. I had the veggie breakfast and my partner had the meat breakfast. Both delicious and extra special especially the chimichurri on the side.

I have been here many times during the past couple years. It is one of my favourite cafes in Liverpool! They do the best coffees. We had the toasted sandwiches which were delicious. The prices are very reasonable. Around 12.50£ for a drink and a sandwich ! The staff were also very lovely! I love the way the cafe is decorated too!

Wow Wow Wow, what a find, 1 minute from hotel and wanted something different than hotel breakfast etc.So friendly staff throughout the visit and the food was 11 out of 10, Pancakes were amazing , light fluffy and the Bacon Sandwich was apparently delicious, I would not know as I was not offered any from my good wife..A great start to the day,good food and happy service..

This is one of my favourite places in liverpool. I'm from Kent and have lived in and around Liverpool for 11 years and whenever family or friends visit, this is the first place I take them. The team are kind, generous and couldn't do more for you. Sarah is a dream and a familiar face around town. Its a safe space for all the queer hunniessss and I just cannot love it more. 💜🩵💜🩵

I've been their customer since the the day they opened this place. It was always nice welcome, friendly people and lovely coffee. I moved to another area but I still pop in and chat with the old and new staff. My new dentist just around the corner so I have an excuse 😀

The food and drink here are absolutely fantastic, ran by amazing people and it's always a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The homemade scones are the best on the Wirral without a doubt and are a must for anyone visiting !

I've been here several times to meet with colleagues. I wish it opened earlier although they have let us in so we can have our meeting before the 11.00 a.m. opening. Today we joined in the two minute silence in remembrance. It's a great community coffee shop run by volunteers that serves great coffee and today we had warmed mince pies. Both were really good and good value for money. Lovely people run the place. I highly recommend Community SOUL if you are in Wallasey Village.

Waited over an hour to be served our food. There appears to be no-one tracking the order in which customers arrive: I saw two groups who had arrived after us being served their orders. Very haphazard, and completely lacking any organisation. The menu was also a bit pricey for what is standard fare.

The food here is really lovely, but it’s ran so poorly. Takes forever to get your order in, then actually getting served another 20 minutes and that was just for drinks! They also had people coming in looking for a table and they were turned away because they had no space, when half the tables inside were finished and waiting for someone to clear the table, bring the bill or they were waiting on missing items.

Pleasant straightforward independent coffee shop with fairly wide range of food. Seevice prompt and attentive and a nice selection of cakes with generous slices provided.

With exception to the window overlooking the bricked walled stairwell, this place has sub-standard decor and furniture with highly inflated prices. I was confused about the payment procedure. When I went up to the till to look at the menu to order, I was told it was table service. So at the end of our snack I waited for the bill to be brought to the table only to find out you have to go back to the till to pay. I took my son for a treat and could have taken him to the cinema for less! 1 latte 1 milkshake Poached egg on toast Carrott cake Total price £16.10 That said, what we did have was beautiful. The eggs were cooked to perfection The carrot cake was moist The best latte I've had in ages The staff were nice enough but came across bored. With exception to the blonde lady who took my payment.

Quite delicious, Eggs Benny - no garnish £8.50, bit economical with the Hollandaise (extra was worth the £1) coffee £3.50 - shame no papers available but quality of food is reliably good.

Had a walk on the Wirral country park and then found this lovely place. Had some lovely sandwiches which had a very fresh salad garnish on the side. Also had a coffee which was so nice we bought a couple of bags of coffee beans. Staff were really welcoming and friendly. We will be returning even if it’s just to try all their gorgeous looking cakes.

Lovely afternoon tea with my daughter was a special occasion. Staff were lovely but never got offered tea or coffee with our afternoon tea. We had a cold drink to start with, but then no one returned to offer tea. So ended up coming in a little pricey. Cakes and sandwiches for lovely would’ve liked a few more savoury items less sweet but that’s just a personal preference Would recommend

Lovely family-owned cafe in Neston. Offering GF, vegan and vegetarian options. Lovely inside with upstairs seating. It was quite busy when I arrived but still managed to get a seat. Ordered green tea and halloumi wrap. To avoid vegans paying more for less- would recommend adding a scrambled tofu to replace egg available in veggie breakfast.

The Blue Bicycle came recommended by a friend in work. I took my Son and Mum for lunch, the cafe is located in the centre of Neston. Free parking available a short distance away in a nearby carpark. I booked a table in advance which was straight forward and easy enough. We arrived early and our table was ready. The staff where really friendly and chatty. We each opted for a sandwich, I had soup with mine. It was thick, tasty and full of flavour. The sandwiches where all freshly prepared and came with a colourful side salad. We all enjoyed our food, a really lovely cafe to drop by for lunch. The cakes looked yummy, maybe next time as I'd promised my son an ice cream at Parkgate, which was about a 20 minute walk away

The Blue Bicycle was the latest café in our ongoing (and completely anecdotal) tour of Wirral breakfast venues. It was very impressive indeed, and has probably risen to first place of the ten or so cafés we have tried thus far. The English breakfast was superb, each food item perfectly cooked and of a very high standard. Only the hash brown was average, the rest, amazing quality, the bacon deserves a special mention. The coffee (latte and cappuccino) was spectacularly good too, easily the best we've tried so far. Prices were at the top end compared with other venues, but worth every penny.

Tried to do reservations online for same day that was a fail so just decided to do a walk-in on a sunday morning. The waitress was friendly to me, but my friend that was with me was given some attitude due to her inquiries and customizing some menu items. Overall the breakfast was good, i asked for sunny side up eggs which she corrected me and called them runny eggs.. which as you can see in the pic is neither. For such a beautiful looking breakfast the sausages were a complete fail. They were mushy and fatty. Really like the place but i wouldn’t do eggs or sausages again.

Had a lovwly dinner here. It has beautiful design inside, plenty comfy seats. Friendly staff. Loved the dishes we ordered, tasted nice for a vegetarian menu. Matcha latte also nice. Good price and portion. Excellent service. Was too full for dessert, so had to take away the pistachio cheese cake.

Had a meal there last night. They have a very good varied menu for all tastes . Service was very good and asked us if everthing alright with food. Nice quiet ambience with paintings on the walls you can buy. Could not fault the food service hence my highest score. Certainly go here again

Needs to decide what it is. Steak and cheese ciabatta. Steak gristly, bread over done. I've had much better from a food truck. Service ok. The place itself is a.mix beyweem cafe, restaurant and bar without doing.any well. Poor.

This cafe is right next to Penny Lane so it gets crowded fast. We pretty much had to DIY to clean up the table and get the missing cutlery ourselves. Coffee was okay, nothing special. The soup was okay... though the grilled bread provided a nice touch to accompany it. The sausage roll on the other hand was great - lots of yummy filling.

Place is very busy but we managed to get a table. We were told that service would be a bit slow for food but we decided to wait and we didn’t regret it. Not the cheapest place for breakfast but food was lovely. It is convenient located close to penny lane if you are planning to visit this iconic street for Beatles fans.

We were in Liverpool so had to see Penny Lane, and looked good a cafe for brunch. We got a soup, sausage roll and a sandwich. Plus coffee. Coffee okay but not great. The soup was good, the sandwich was tasty and then sausage roll was excellent!

Bustling cafe with comfortable seating and large, bright windows which make you feel you're right on the street (while staying warm indoors). Tables cleared quickly and drinks served with no delay. Loved the angled wooden seating beside the window and would come in here again just to sit here. Didn't ask for oat milk, but the cortado tasted a bit like oats somehow.

An absolutely delightful coffee shop, always made to feel welcome, excellent customer service with home made cakes, coffee is really good quality and tastes lovely. It’s a fabulous independent coffee shop that deserves to be as busy as it is. Staff are so lovely and friendly too.

Ryde is both a cafe and bicycle repair shop. It's situated on Mann Street inside the Northern Lights building which is part of the Brewery Village complex on the edge of Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle. It was previously in smaller premises in the brewery building but the new location gives it lots of extra space. There are lots of breakfast, brunch and lunch options, including veggie and vegan items. I had a cup of tea and a delicious slice of carrot cake. My friend made me jealous with his cheese and bacon toastie!

Ryde - the Bycycle Café - is a real find and by far the best place to stop and recharge along the whole 44.2 miles of Route 56. It has everything! There's an on-site bike workshop, cycle racks inside and outside, tables inside and outside and an awesomely quirky cycle theme throughout. For the non-cyclist (and that's me most of the time) and cyclist alike, the food and drinks are extra special, served super quick by the friendly and helpful team. Now, any coffee or lunch meetings for me will always be redirected to Ryde!

Went here with our guest from Germany and were greeted by a lovely and attentive waitress called Kiera. Food was amazing and the service was friendly and helpful! Thank you, will definitely be back!!

There was a little exhibition on the go when I visited which was pretty cool. Got a strong sense of community during my time there and would love to go back!

This delightful tearoom in Wallasey village is perfect. Lovely ladies are very welcoming and the food is excellent and always beautifully served. Real tea leaves too for any tea lovers. It’s the perfect place to meet up with friends. Highly recommend. Xx

I completely support and agree with the recent review. My previous visit was nice with sandwiches and cakes which possibly could have maybe been better with more of an option? but its hard to rate on service when we didn't receive any and there was also more than one staff on site at the time so you can't say there was just the one as you was talking alot with more than one staff we had to come up to request. You need to remember you have a job to do.

Thank you to all the ladies serving today. We came here for a girls get-together (3 generations) before my daughter has her baby. The food was delicious and plentiful. We were very well looked after even though they were booked solid with mothers day being tomorrow. Highly recommended

Went here today first time filling could be bit more in sandwiches but when trying to get there attention for more tea jam cream they where busy chatting my fiance had to go up for it cafe wasn't at time worked in busy cafe my self you keep eye on table go up few times making sure go drinks so they can tell you running out of bits definitely no on mobile behind counter

Went here for lunch today with my nan, my nan was very impressed with her scone and I loved my chocolate ganache. Didn’t wait long for our food and it was freshly made. Big shoutout to the amazing Lynne, Sheila and Amie. Highly recommended.

Popped in for a stack of pancakes and to read whilst in town. A lovely little cafe with friendly staff and pretty decor. Being 100% vegan made it so much better and the food was delicious. There was a wide range of items on the menu to serve all appetites and I look forward to returning to try some of the other options. The pancakes themselves had a huge list of toppings that could be added making them completely customisable. Delicious food 😊

When recently visiting Liverpool me and my partner visited Potts as some of the reviews indicated that it was a good place to eat Vegan food. The reviews we read could not do this place justice. The vegan breakfast we ate was one of the best we had ever tried and for dessert we had the pancakes and they were incredible! The best vegan pancakes I have ever tried!! The staff there were very friendly and accommodating. I cannot recommend this place enough if you are in Liverpool and looking for some delicious vegan breakfast food. 10/10

Delicious fully vegan cafe! Coffee blend was so good and the caesar salad was nice and fresh. The staff were lovely and checked up on us, and offered extra drinks. The atmosphere is so nice with good music and real plants everywhere. I'll be back to try the breakfast food soon.

Loved this place did amazing vegan pancakes for such an great price! I was also very happy they let me order a kids meal as some places don’t let adults do that. This was more than enough food for me I couldn’t even finish the 2 pancakes! I got Biscoff spread and squirty cream! My fiancé had the 6 and he left two but the extras were super filling, bacon, scrambled egg, maple syrup and two sausages! Lovely staff as well

Sensational dog friendly cafe! These mushrooms on toast are the best I've ever had, and the rosemary aioli is fantastic. Everything was fresh and delicious and came quickly. Mostly vegetarian and vegan too, so lots of great options for everyone to choose from

I love this place, the food is fresh and the decaf coffee is tasty which is not that common (especially hard to do for the chain coffee places it seems with the exception of Black Sheep). Our dog tries to drag us in every time we are walking past so trust his judgement and give it a try (I suspect they have underfloor heating which might be his reason for wanting to go there).

Had a truly delicious breakfast here Friday morning. The chef who brought our food exuded pride over the meals he'd prepared and for good reason, as they were made with passion, creativity and an expert level of foodie magic. Very recommended!

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE | CROSS CONTAMINATION 1) Customer Service Me and my girlfriend went in yesterday on the 26th of April 2025 and we had the worst customer service we’ve ever had and shocking food quality. See below: I went up to the counter and ordered a wrap, a pot of tea and a chocolate muffin. We were told our breakfast tea and muffin would be brought over shortly, and I was given my wrap to take to the table. Fine so far. We sat at the table and it was taking a long time for the tea and muffin to come over. Considering it’s literally only a pot of tea and there were no more drinks, this was surprising, but I used to be a barista for about 4 years so we gave them the benefit of the doubt. Eventually, a male member of staff came over and brought the muffin but no tea. He said “the chocolate muffin?” And I thanked him for the muffin and responded “that’s ours please. There’s also a breakfast tea too” and rather than receive a polite response of something as simple as “it’s on the way shortly”, the male member of staff who was clearly having a bad day already was very blunt and snappy. In response to me asking for an update on the tea, he threw his hands up and snappily stated “I’m not on drinks! It’ll be with you when it’s ready to be served” I just said “that’s no problem mate, that’s fine, thank you” and he left. If he had said the same but just nicely, it would’ve been fine, but his tone of voice was awful. If he had politely stated something as simple as “I’m not on drinks so I’m unsure where that will be, but I can check” that would’ve been fine. But instead, he just got defensive and snappy. Sad thing is, I’ve previously been a barista for 4 years and I also worked for the very same 200 Degrees Met Quarter store for a brief time when it first opened, so I know how much 200 Degrees used to pride themselves on customer service and the quality of their products. God knows what’s happened. Now, onto the cross contamination: 2) CROSS CONTAMINATION After the tea was eventually delivered to the table, my girlfriend went to eat her chocolate muffin before noticing something on the muffin. After inspection and cutting the strange thing she noticed on the muffin, whatever it was, was green inside and smelled spicy/fragrant. Whatever it was, it wasn’t anything chocolate-related. I’ve attached a picture to show. I’ve worked for 200 Degrees. I know the standards and training they put you through and it’s very meticulous (at least it was around 5 years ago when I worked for them). The lad in the shop genuinely gave us the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had and it’s not even close. The “gentleman” who was rude had medium lengthen hair that was dark, has a strong moustache and was wearing a floral-type of shirt. He was working in the store on April 26th 2025 at about 4pm. I get we all have things going on, but still, his rudeness was very abrupt and just unnecessary when all I did was ask for an update on a pot of tea.

I worked in Derby for a couple of months (im from Liverpool), and would frequent their Derby shop every morning during the week. The quality of their cortado was absolutely sublime. The depth of their Brazilian roast was gorgeous and it was rich in crema/foam - even lots of residue after id finished. It was so good, I bought a bag of their Brazilian roast to take home for my moka pot (which also proved to be sublimely fresh and aromatic). So, little did I realise they had a shop in Liverpool! Quick off my feet, I went down there to get a Cortado. The first time i went (a Friday), the baristas were so lovely (2 young guys) , and seemed to know their stuff regarding coffee when we spoke for a solid 15 mins. Exactly what you want to hear. The cortado was lovely, but nowhere NEAR as incredible as the one I had at their Derby shop. I let this side thinking it was a one off. I returned on the following Sunday to this time, buy some beans - and get another Cortado. Staff were different this time, but still friendly. But they knew nothing about grind settings depending on method. I had to show the girl on the machine myself (which wasnt the best machine compared to others I had seen in say, Bean Coffee or, Koffi). She was super friendly dont get me wrong. So I tried my coffee this morning at home, using same blend as the pack I bought in Derby previously, and it was nowhere near as fresh or aromatic!! Moreover, it didnt produce any crema/foam whatsoever (i had brewed exactly thr same way as I always do, same times, so water measures etc). I just knew it wasnt a freshly roasted batch- it looked and smelt like it was 3 months old. Im so gutted, as the Derby shop was the best coffee shop id ever been to (and we have alot here in Liverpool, which is saying something). Ill probably now have to revert back to buying direct from a roasters on the Wirral instead, which is such a shame!

If you're looking for good coffee, avoid this place at all cost. I have had perfect coffee, I've had average, bad and terrible coffee, but this was a whole new experience. The macchiato I got had no taste at all, the coffee in it was some of the most bland in my life, and it was topped off with too much milk. If you're looking to spend three pounds, better give it to one of the homeless hanging around the place.

Stopped off after a little spot of shopping for a coffee. Had some food too as there was so many delicious looking bits. It’s so nicely decorated inside and had a lovely relaxed vibe which is just what you need after a busy day shopping. The focaccia was so tasty, I had it warmed and the bread was just delicious. I couldn’t resist cake and a second coffee. Very nice little place to stop off :)

Chill atmosphere but a lot of the tables had dirty cups on and they were not cleared promptly even though it wasn't busy. A table near me had dirty cups on it for over 10mins. I had a pineapple smoothie which was nice but a bit overpriced at £4.20.

First visit for a breakfast as I had some time during my morning calls. Grabbed a small breakfast to go. Good size, beans and tomatoes were kept separate which, on the go is a must, so thank you! The toast was done well, it was just missing a fork, which wasn't the guys fault, there just was none in stock. Food wise tasted nice, I prefer my sausages to have more seasonings/herbs in but that's to each taste. Hash brown was crunchy though which was a huge plus, some places can be soggy and that's not what you want. I'd come back here in-between calls and a nice guy who gave me time to look at the menu and produced the food quickly. Thank you!

Ordered at 7.45am didn’t receive it till 9.30, the food was stone cold and all the bread had mold over it, really unacceptable, after calling the restaurant they told me what the mold was on before I got to so they knew about it already but still decided to send it out, this is the worst place I have eaten at never again

Attended this place for a sausage and bacon on toast after unwrapping it discovered my toast was full of mold come on this place has really gone down hill it was my go to place for a butty in the morning not no more disgusting

Food was wrong. The Driver was sent back to pick it up which is worrying. Eventually came back with the food we ordered. For some reason, the cook was blamed which doesn't make much sense. Food wasn't even that nice ordered a bacon and egg bin lid. Warm with no yoke, just egg white. Going to make my own next time instead.

I ordered food at 1:50 it is now 4 pm and still not showed up I called up every half hour to ask where it was and every time the person on the phone would be shouting and saying it’s on the way after I had waiting over 2 hours I called and demanded a refund and he told me they hadn’t even made the food yet. A place full of liars and rude people avoid like the plague !!

First visit here, busy cafe lose to Birkenhead Town centre with a wide selection of food, drinks & milkshake. I ordered double sausage, egg, beans, chips & a cup of tea. Food came quickly, was very large portion, hot & seemed good quickly ingredients, along with a cup of tea. I though the prices where reasonable, would recommend.

Used to love this place but the owner obviously cutting corners, hash browns on our meal were black inside and smelt awful, was informed they were fine by the staff member who was told to still use them and it was a supply issue but obviously they had been stored in incorrect temps for them to end up like that. As someone who works in the industry don't serve food like that, if it looks bad, smells bad then bin it or send it back to your supplier! EDIT: Gave them another chance and the order was late, girlfriend called the place and the way they spoke was reason for us to definitely never return. Absolute jokers, learn some manners and some professionalism.

Genuinely one of the nicest breakfasts I've had in a long time. I had the brink veggie brekkie which was a decent portion, hot, two good bits of halloumi and lots of toast. My partner had the big brink brekkie which had beautiful crispy bacon, two high quality sausages and was a nice big portion. The food was amazing and affordable, the staff there are so friendly and your money is going towards a fantastic cause and space!!

Went here on a Friday night. With a recovery group called Breakfree. Lee Butler. Si Austin. Robbie Edwards. DJ sets. Staff were very friendly. Everyone was dancing. Great night. Just proves you dont need ALCOHOL AND drugs to have a great time. 👍

Lovely breakfast and coffee at a very good price. Good atmosphere! Love the spirit of a community run cafe. Happy to have stumbled across it when we were looking for breakfast in the rain.

It's 'the place' to eat! Classic English breakfast was flawless and delicious. Serving was absolutly huge. The Staff were very friendly and helpful for me, as it is my first time in Liverpool. If you want to eat something tasty and chat with friendly people you must visit The Brink

Amazing food and an amazing idea! Staff were incredible. The visit from the new year dragon just topped off the whole experience, would definitely go back and 100% recommend!

This is one of the most amazing cafe/restaurants I've ever been to. It has amazing food, great music and non-alcohol cocktails to die for. And, it is a place for people in recovery (i.e. alcoholics looking for somewhere cool to hang out) and I've never seen anything like it. If you're in Liverpool go and eat something there. I just had a Thai curry there and it was better than anything I've had in years...and you don't need to have anything to do with addiction or recovery to appreciate it. I was in Liverpool for about 4 days and I went to the Brink each day to eat, drink, appreciate the awesome sounds and work on my laptop. I can't recommend it highly enough. The photos below were added in 2019 and are of wooden panels on their walls.

Great coffee, great pastries, and great atmosphere. The selections of coffee on my offer were great. I got batch brew, cortado, and espresso and each of them was full of flavour. The pastries were great and the atmosphere in the cafe was great. I was able to work from here for a few hours too as they have some seating upstairs where people can work from. I’d highly recommend and if I am back in Liverpool I’d definitely be going back.

A very nice coffee shop. The cappuccino was pretty good but flat white was pretty strong - both bitter and sour - to my taste. The interior was great, the crockery was beautiful, prices were reasonable. The portion size was fairly small. A very good spot overall if you are in town

World class coffee served with care and attention. Welcoming and warm staff that were helpful and knowledgeable. Really well extracted espresso that tasted balanced and sweet. Freddo Flat white was a delight. Lovely upstairs seating area with a cozy little reading nook. Bar and bench downstairs where conversation flowed between strangers. 10/10!

A short walk away from Bold street but totally worth it. Had a nice selection of pastries including pain suisse. Flat white was spot on and well balanced. Staff were so friendly barely any wait and table service which is really appreciated. Love the building with all the original features and the decor complements it perfectly. Can’t wait to visit again!

I started buying my coffee here last hear after a friend tipped me off. They are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Their decaf is the best decaf that I have tried.

I have been using Adams and Russell Coffee for over 10 years now. Our customers continually tell us how wonderful our Coffee is so I thought I would share this. We use Peninsula Coffee and our contact, Pino is a very knowledgeable coffee expert and always available when we need him. . Pino will always answer our calls and will go out his way to assist us when needed. It was his idea that we should brand our coffee packaging which we were very impressed with and reinforced our Branding.

I found these local to me after I got a coffee machine. Went down, and a member of staff showed me around their process and was full of information. Picked up 6 small bags to try out and will definitely be making a regular order.

Highly recommend this place. The difference using freshly roasted beans is incredible. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, will certainly continue to get my coffee beans from here.

What a place. Real treasure trove for a coffee obsessed person. Walked in today came out with some stunning Cuban beans, 2kg of their absolutely beautiful Papau new gunea beans and to my surprise 3 packs of loose tea and a tea infuser. The lapsang here is stunning, the fruit tea is divine and the rooibos given to me to try by the gent who looked after me. Lovley coffee, fantastic customer service and honestly works out almost the same as your generic lavazza beans etc in terms of price point.

Great to have a local place to get fresh coffee

The place is clean and nice, and the staff are very friendly. I tried the Cheesy Hash Browns, Eggs on Toast, and Poutine Tater Tots. But my favourite, it was filling and reasonably priced, was the Poutine Tater Tots. You need to try it, I really recommend it🤩!

Great spot! The chocolate chip cookie was amazing—perfectly baked and just the right amount of sweet. The breakfast muffin was also delicious and fresh. The atmosphere is lovely and welcoming, with quick and friendly service.

I have usually heard really good reviews of this company - so decided to pop in and order. As soon as I had ordered, I was told that there would be a 15-20 minute delay, and they asked if I could wait outside and someone will bring the drinks when they’re ready (which was no problem!). However, I ended up waiting just over 30 minutes for two small drinks. I went back inside and asked for an update, to be told “Oh I was calling the name and nobody responded”. I was then given my drinks, which were cold but there was no point in escalating this further as they had told everyone else in the queue that they are no longer taking orders. Overall, this experience has made me not want to come back. If there was sympathy regarding the wait, I wouldn’t have minded but it was brushed off as my fault?

Always crazy busy, but the coffee speaks for the wait. The staff is lovely and always great to talk to. At peak times wait can be long, but how the coffee tastes always makes it worth it. When I’ve had food here, there have been great options and is always at a high quality. If you are wanting to eat in though, best to either go early or not at the weekend as the space is small and there aren’t many tables

Victim of its own success. Seen the place being mentioned in social media multiple times and while on a stroll in Sefton Park decided to pop up and see what it is about. As we approached the building there was a queue of about 10/15 people which was a good sign. We went into the vintage store next door and as we came out, the queue was down to maybe 2/4. Quickly got to the till and got to order our drinks which were a bog standard order. Iced Latte and some sort of refreshing drink we have seen everyone drink and it being on their favourite menu. As we went to pay we were told its Card only which is not an issue. We were told as they are a little busy it will be 10 minutes for our order 👀 This is at 14:45 on Sunday. Coming from hospitality sector I thought that estimate is a bit long for coffee and they will be ready sooner to our pleasant surprise. Sadly, after 20 minutes with no drinks and the serving lady asking us if these are our drinks twice with different orders. Went up to ask how long we will have to wait? To be told it will be another 5 minutes. So from before we ordered 2 drinks to leaving with our drinks it took about 35 minutes! I can see the appeal and drinks were good but service is not prepared in any shape or form for the volume of customers they are serving.

This place is an absolute gem. Great coffee. I had the pastrami totts and the brisket sandwich with dipping gravy. The food was fantastic.

Oh how you have fallen from what you once were. I studied at uni in Liverpool around 10 years ago when 92 degrees first opened. It was one of the best coffees around. I visited again today after many years. I ordered a Cortado. I specified I was staying in. I was served my coffee in a paper cup. A cortado should be served in a 120ml glass. Then I sat down and wondered why. I opened the lid which revealed the hidden sins beneath (see second picture). The only redeeming factor was that their Hope St blend is actually quite nice. But then again, it’s easy to make an espresso with a blend coffee rather than single origin… For the third picture I have attached a photo of a Cortado I was served in another coffee shop to illustrate what a Cortado should look like

I highly recommend this cute café. The place is chill, cosy and nice where you can sit comfortably and take a hot coffee or any beverage! It's also a nice place to study with friends or buddies. I really love their toasty named "Cooper" that I've eaten twice in the same café because it's really good!!! Their Matcha latte is good too! This is one of my favourite cafés in the UK haha :))

A particularly warm and welcoming café in the city centre and opposite Liverpool University. We discovered it by accident a week ago which was our first day and have been "hooked" and have been coming back every day for coffee ever since. If you're a Greek especially visiting Liverpool (as we are fussy about coffee) give it a try! Although the coffee leaves a fruity aftertaste (something I personally don't like) it is the best I have tasted in Liverpool and together with the warm atmosphere it is the ultimate combination! As for the food: delicious and well done butter croissant, carrot cake on another level and if you are a fan of cherries and almonds, you must try the Cherry Bakewell!!! As for the staff, they are polite, helpful and eager to help you with anything you need! In conclusion, this cafe is one of the places we will miss in Liverpool!☺️🤍

Second time at this particular 92°, don't often go here but decided to on this day. I ordered a latte, it was delicious, tasted great. But the reason for the low stars is I was served my coffee in a dirty cup (looks like mould or mildew). I have Never actually been anywhere where I've been served a coffee in a dirt cup before. I ended up transferring it into my own cup I had in my bag and drinking it from there.

This 92° is a student hotspot as it’s right next to university of Liverpool campus, however the opening hour (8-9) is typically pretty quite with most people just using it as a workspace. The coffee is very good, a longer wait than anticipated but worth it!

I used to frequent this place when I worked nearby - the staff were absolutely gorgeous to me. So so friendly and welcoming. Ethan (not sure if he still works there) was particularly warm and personable.

Best flat white in Lime St station. Unfortunately I don't buy any food because it's not in enclosed cabinets and it tastes of diesel fumes from the trains.

18/01/23: quirkly little two tiered coffee shop. Lovely relaxed atmosphere inside. Was quite busy and a short wait for service. Sat upstairs. They had an open mic night with artists on the night we happened by. Stayed for a quick double espresso, which we found very bitter and sour. Loved the idea of the mic night though and should we return to Liverpool, would perhaps try a different style of coffee. Dog friendly!

...With how much a simple cappuccino costs...I'm not saying to welcome customers with the Macarena, but a little more smiling at 9 in the morning...I know what it means to work with the public and it's not an obligation if you don't like people.

The cafe had a chilled atmosphere, and everywhere was really clean. Definitely coming here again next time I’m in Liverpool 😊

I went in for a Mocha as I was having breakfast at a nearby bakery but boy was I surprised by this place. I don't really care for fancy decor so this place s a gem. Why? Because the barista knows their sh!t. This was by far the best Mocha I've ever had. Can recommend enough! The Barista's Raleigh bike looked slick 🚲

I’ve visited Freida Mo's a few times because their offerings are genuinely excellent. The vintage goods are beautifully curated and even carry a fantastic selection of kids’ items, a 10/10 for me as a new mum! And the cookies are absolutely delicious *chefs kiss*. As someone with celiac disease, I really appreciate having safe options available. Unfortunately, the service has been consistently off. Some of the staff members can be rather snappy and rude at times. I’ve waited twenty minutes for a drink when it has been empty inside, and on my most recent visit, I tried to go in when both the door sign and Google said they were open, only to be shooed away. They could easily have come out and told me they weren’t ready, but being turned away like that felt especially odd in Liverpool, a city known for its warmth and hospitality. Whenever I crave a cookie now, I ask my husband to order it for me.

Lark Lane is one of Liverpool's best places to visit and this vintage/retro shop is a real treat for the senses. The vintage dresses are fabulous, plenty of gift choices and the best on offer is from the tea & cakes counter! We absolutely loved the rainbow earl grey tea and apple crumble cake. On a sunny day, the little colourful courtyard at the back of the shop makes the tea break even more special. Come have a look! Bring friends!

We stumbled in here in the hunt of desserts and were absolutely not disappointed! This place is fantastic! Vintage shop, tearoom and bakery, with lovely staff! We tried a few desserts and they were all amazing. Veggie and vegan options too 🥰 My only wish is to go back and explore more!

Paid £4.50 for a cookie that has equal quality to a Maryland cookie - which I love, but wouldn't pay £4.50 for Probably one of the only cafes in Liverpool that ISN'T dog-friendly either. Coffee was alright though

Popped in with my girlfriend yesterday and we were both immediately made to feel very welcome by the lovely people running the place. Gorgeous cakes, and we got generous portions because it was my girlfriend's birthday last week. She's also made up with the bow she bought from the lovely clothing range out back. Thanks for making us feel very special!

Such an amazing place to have on Lark Lane. The girls working in there are so welcoming whenever I go in, and the cakes are stunning. Does cakes that are vegan/gluten free, as well as normal cakes, and it's all baked there by the owner. Great vintage shop too to hunt out some great pieces. Top example of a true independent. The OG!

Called in on the off chance as we were early for a meeting so decided to get some food and drinks. We were greeted by a young lady who asked if we had a booking a first for a little high st cafe. I assume it gets busy as they serve afternoon tea. I was also pleantly surprised of the hygiene it didn't smell of cooking fat at all and all the surfaces were spotless no greasy residue. Layout was light and airy with great spacing between tables so you was not on top of other customers like a lot of small cafes. The decor was nice and the pastel colours of light pinks made for a relaxing experience and the ceiling was adorned with bunting again very clean for a cafe. The menu catered for all tastes and diet requirements vegan veggie and carnivores all catered for. There is a lot of choice from English breakfast of varying sizes, burgers, lasagne etc and the soup of the day looked amazing "bubble n squeak soup" I do wish I had tried some it looked really good but I opted a full english as the menu mentioned locally sourced free range eggs and I was quiet hungry. The standard breakfast had 1 bacon 1 sausage 1 perfectly cooked oranges yolked egg beans in a ramakin grilled tomato toast a hash brown and we got extra black pudding accompanied with a pot of tea for 2. Top quality ingredients bacon tasted like back back should I never noticed and fat on it sausage was tasty no of those herb just a decent pork sausage again not fat or gristle. I would have preferred a tinned tomato but it wasn't a big deal. Good pot of twinings English tea and a little pot of milk. On of the best breakfast if tasted in a long while keep up the good work great staff. Deffo worth a visit if your in the area

Second time and still spot on. Will become a regular now as the food is not only delicious but smartly presented. My bf got a full English that looked really nice and tidy. And i got the tuna salad , they present their food very well and look forward to going again. They also accommodated us when we rang up for a table having a young child with us placing us next to the window which helps having a 4 year old being able to look outside. Food was quick and the staff are very friendly happy to tip at the end when we left.

We have been dinning here for the past two weeks. What else can I say? Food and hot drinks are hot, not warm. Everyone is so lovely and the Eggcustard is the best I have tasted. Mum had the standard breakfast. I have Sweet potato and apple soup. Absolutely delicious 😋

Just passing by and noticed the outside chairs, plus down the side.. with a lovely hidden suntrap secret garden hidden at the back.. Nice soup, cakes and excellent coffees. Need to try the full menu and breakfasts.. Updated - still the same great place, perfect menu, all really well cooked, really good breakfasts.. big shout out for the Potato dauphinois with eggs, add whatever else you want.. also the potato cakes...

I have been to Benricks multiple times and always enjoyed it. This occasion I booked Benricks afternoon tea as a treat for my friends 65th Birthday. It was £35 for both of us so not cheap. A selection of sandwiches and cakes where selected for us but you could state if you had any preference on the sandwichesbut not the cakes, we did ask but was gold " NO it would be a surprise. They chose the cakes which where not to our liking and the ham and cream Scone already had the jam and cream on so again they should have been served with the jam and clotted cream separately. You only get one pot of tea with two tea bags in and a pot of hot water to top it up with! It was a big let down as they should not decide which cakes you prefer and to not even offer a second pot of tea is ridiculous as they you the water but not two more tea bags.( Very stingy). Had better so won't chose afternoon tea here again.

Came from North wales, on recommendation.Great breakfast. Relatively quiet restaurant. Order took quite long time at nearly 50 mins.Well worth a look at though.!!👍🏻

A lovely and homy place where I stopped for lunch before doing some grocery shopping. I had a chance to try their local dish "Scouse" it was a Lamb Scouse and it's amazing. (Scouse is from the word Lobscouse, which was a dish commonly eaten by sailors travelling across Northern Europe; the hearty stew generally consists of meat, either lamb or beef with potatoes, carrots and onions and served with pickled beetroot or cabbage and some crusty bread on the side. Everyone in Liverpool has their own recipe for Scouse, passed down through the generations.)

Came across this lovely place quite by accident on a very quick visit to Birkenhead to see the Paul O’Grady memorial mural. It was a very hot day and we needed to stop for a drink. We didn’t have any food, just a drink, but the food that did get served close by looked amazing. The pictures of our ‘Iced Mocha Frappuccino’ aren’t great, but the mocha was so good, pictures seemed unimportant 😊 stopping here for a drink was a top decision and can be recommended.

Absolutely shocking. Been going to Liberty Bell for years and can't believe how much standards have dropped. The coffee now tastes absolutely vile, it used to be what I went in for! Always been in the morning and now it's sometimes not even open? The guy (Mario?) who makes it when it does eventually open doesn't seem to have a clue? Used to love coming here but the quality of ingredients for food and drink has dropped dramatically!!! Prices are the same funnily enough. Won't be recommending it, me and my colleagues have gone elsewhere for better service and quality. Such a shame, it was always a good spot to go to.

What a lovely little cafe/ coffee house. We had breakfast and also returned for lunch. It was very busy at breakfast, less so at lunch time, but we got a table easily. We ordered and paid at the counter and our food and drinks was brought to the table. Prices are a little steep. For four drinks and a bowl of cereal we paid £14 and for two teas and two sandwiches we paid £20. However, the food was lovely. There is a unisex toilet that was clean and accessible.

Brilliant location, matched equally by the quality of the food and service. Admittedly, I didn't personally eat here, I just had drinks, so I'm going by what my business colleague rated the food, which was 5*. Just opposite Hamilton Square train station, Liberty Bell is split into 2 rooms, catering for between 40-50 people. The main services area as you enter the building caters for around 16. The main room to the left probably seats twice as many people. The building is well decorated, extremely clean and the food was equally well presented.

Had a roast dinner here today and we were not disappointed! Absolutely gorgeous. Definitely be back 😊

Used to go every other week for lunch. Unsure if they still do the item but get the Reuben, one of the best sandwiches I've ever had, and the fries were fresh and always delicious. Service was always great. A rare shining star in Birkenhead.

Had a lovely, quiet lunch today here. Highly recommend this place. I had the New York club which was well presented and left me feeling pleasantly full. My Brother had the Cuban which looked equally as nice and must of tasted as good because he ate the lot too!!!

I can only speak for the breakfast but: the prices are very reasonable, service is excellent, staff very friendly and food is well-cooked. Fortunately, we arrived early, as all tables were occupied by 0930 on the Friday of our visit

What a lovely clean restaurant. Seating ideally suited to me. My disability makes difficult to stand but chairs and table extremely sturdy. The food was excellent. I couldn’t believe the amount on my plat, however I did manage to eat it all. Very friendly staff. I was greeted by the owner Chris who helped me in an out of both the toilet and the door way. He even escorted me to my car.
