Quilligan's Café Bar is a vibrant spot in Blackpool that has become a beloved destination for brunch enthusiasts. With an extensive menu featuring hearty breakfast options like the classic American breakfast, customizable omelettes, and the Jumbo Full English Breakfast, there's something to satisfy every palate. The café prides itself on serving homemade meals crafted from high-quality ingredients, ensuring each dish bursts with flavor.
Fantastic service yesterday whilst eating here before a concert at Winter Gardens. A lovely welcome, relaxed atmosphere, varied menu so something for everyone. We all enjoyed our food and I need to go back to try the onion rings - a table nearby ordered them and they looked delicious, proper job!! Our evening was part of my sisters birthday celebrations and all the staff made her feel very special with each one of them, including the kitchen staff, wishing her a happy birthday as we left. Support independent and give it a go, you won't be disappointed. Also very reasonably priced.

Called here for lunch Sunday 6 April 25. It’s becoming our go to place when we’re in Blackpool having been here on several previous occasions we know that it meets with our expectations. I had a 2 course Sunday lunch, roast turkey with their homemade soup to begin. My wife had a ham sandwich with a side of fries, The service was outstanding from our arrival to departure and the food was delicious and all reasonably priced. It’s worth looking this place up if you’re in town.
Mario L — Google review
my partner had the full english and toast, bacon was so overdone it tasted like plastic, beans were somehow sour, sausages were not nice at all, the toast was ridiculously underdone was pretty much given bread and butter and the tea had oily bits floating in it. i had the pancakes and they were decent, a bit dry but whatever syrup they gave me was horrendous. tasted like nothing, poured out looking like tar and looked like a hazard yellow. definitely don’t recommend.
Siobhan D — Google review
It was dilapidated, dirty and oddly cold, like freezing on a regular day. The steak was vold like it had been cooked, forgotten about for 30 minutes and then served with fried that were so hot they took 20 minutes to cool down to a temperature you can eat them. The service was rude and dismissive at best. And the atmosphere was similar to somewhere stylish 70 years ago but really run down and failed to maintain since then. Overall it was an experience disappointment

We eat here every year (pretty much daily) during Rebellion and the service and friendliness of all the staff is second to none. Plenty of options on the menu and we've never been disappointed. See you again next year.

Quilligans café bar is a fantastic venue just slightly hidden away by the Winter Gardens in Blackpool's town centre. The choice of food options is almost as large as the menus they're listed on. Everything is cooked and made to order and is of excellent quality. I can thoroughly recommend the eggs benedict as they use incredibly tasty and quality ham coupled with perfectly poached eggs and a lovely hollandaise sauce. The thick chips come with a gorgeous peppercorn sauce, and the smoked salmon open sandwiches were plentiful and fresh. If you're in the town centre looking for a good café you can't go wrong with quilligans.
Gavin W — Google review
Well, there is more than a reason why I have been going to eat at Quilligan's Cafe Bar almost every time I am in Blackpool. They have a very extensive Menu, therefore there is something for everyone's taste, and the quality is always spot on. Amongst the rest, I particularly like their Sunday dinners that are served in very generous portions, and I also love their breakfasts: last time I tried their American style pancakes, OMG! And there's is also another very important motif why I keep going back: the staff is so welcoming & friendly, and their service absolutely impeccable: 10/10.
Ale R — Google review
The largest menu in Blackpool 😃 so many items. I had lasagna with garlic bread and thick cut chips with a Stilton sauce. When the lasagna was served I found the bottom was burnt (hence the 4 stars). I informed the server and it was immediately replaced and I found it delicious. The thick cut chips are huge and crispy and we couldn't finish a portion between us. Prices are very good and offer good value. Would I go back? Maybe.

Nestled within the scenic Stanley Park in Blackpool, Park's Art Deco Café offers a delightful dining experience amidst the park's charming Italian Gardens. Guests can savor hearty breakfasts while taking in picturesque views and basking in the sunshine on the alfresco terrace. The café boasts an enchanting art deco interior with original features, creating a truly special ambiance for visitors.
I love this cafe so much! Excellent menu filled with light lunches or bigger meals. The queue goes down quickly, so many seating options. I would recommend the parks club sandwich- I get it every time I come here. Really good tasting coffee too. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

I have never been here before but I was curious and from entering the customer service was good. I ordered a beef roll with chips. The gravy is possibly the best that I’ve ever tasted other than Mrs B’s! The cakes and desserts were far too good to try on my expanding waistline so they’ll have to be on my next visit.

Had a wonderful lunch at this café yesterday. Was greeted at the door and welcomed in. All the staff were polite and accommodating. We were shown to a booth seating area. Choice on the menu was extensive but reasonable pricing. Many meals having homemade in the title. We opted for a seafood platter and ploughmans type platter. Plentiful and delicious. What a wonderful experience. From finding just somewhere for s snack/lunch to feeling we had a proper treat. Well done all staff working on Saturday 13 September. Great job. Recommend 5 stars ✴️✴️✴️✴️✴️

Lovely location, based in a park. Was sat outside so sun was a great addition. Food was done in about 15 minutes. £6.45 for a house breakfast which was good. Plus a lovely lake with friendly swans near by

I love this cafe. The staff were so polite and excellent. The lady that served us was absolutely fantastic. I even told her that i was going to leave a good review...see i promised. The cheesecake, ohhh, the cheesecake was to die for. It was lovely. Id definitely come back again. Im fact, i want to come back now for cheesecake.

I do love coming here it's been a part of my life for so long even though it has changed over the years with different owners. The perfect spot when the sun is out as there is a lot of outdoor seating and the location is perfect. Food is served via a counter display inside. There are pre packed sandwiches to purchase and a nice selection of cakes. They also have a varied menu including breakfast, and daily specials. It's also licensed and they do a really good afternoon tea. The coffee is barista style and really nice. The inside is a lovely space as well, holding on to its art deco style with views out over the Italian gardens. There is disabled parking but it is limited. However we do seem to find a space most times we visit.

Didn’t even get through the doorway when a female member of staff approached me. My small assistance dog was on my lap and I was in my powerchair. The woman straight away said ‘you can’t bring that dog in here’. I replied ‘she’s an assistance dog’, she replied ‘doesn’t matter. We only allow guide dogs’ and I said ‘guide dogs are a type of assistance dog and it’s against the law for you to not let us in’ and she said ‘well, we’ve had other assistance dogs come in and bite a little girl and staff so we don’t allow assistance dogs’. I replied ‘well, they obviously weren’t real assistance dogs then and, no offence, but those incidents are nothing to do with me. You’re breaking the law by not allowing us to come in. We’re covered by the disability act’. I then went to show her a leaflet I keep on me that explains the law around assistance dogs and access rights etc but she refused to even looked at it and walked off. I left in tears, which then made my chronic nerve pain worse. I have scar tissue wrapped around my abdominal nerves which means that any movement is painful so, getting all tense and upset obviously makes my pain worse aswell. Shortly after, a male member of staff came out and started giving excuses for the woman’s behaviour (he said she was his daughter). I won’t say exactly what the excuse was that he gave as it was personal but apparently something in her personal life was causing her to have a tough day. No offence though, if it’s a difficult time, maybe she shouldn’t have been at work as she simply cannot treat customers that way. As someone with chronic nerve pain, I spend a lot of my time bedridden and so I was very excited to finally go to Stanley Park for the first time. I have recently been struggling with my depression (due to the pain) and wanted to get out to boost my morale but now I regret ever leaving the house. It’s a shame because Stanley Park is supposed to be the best park in the UK and I can see why as it’s stunning but considering this is the only cafe there, it was a huge let down to be treated the way I was. I felt/feel discriminated against, humiliated, rejected and downright disgusted with the treatment I received. Neither myself or my dog had done anything wrong. Public places, like cafes, are within their rights to ask an assistance dog to leave if it is misbehaving but this was simply not the case in this incident. I will be escalating this. Ps. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I can’t comment on the food or what the place is like really considering I wasn’t even ALLOWED the chance.

Located in Blackpool, West Coast Rock Cafe has been a local favorite since 1987. This family-run spot offers a welcoming atmosphere and delicious food, earning it various accolades over the years. The menu features burgers, steaks, ribs, Tex-Mex dishes, pizza, and pasta. Guests can enjoy live music while dining and take advantage of special deals on select days.
Food is spot on and staff are friendly. They have some great deals on throughout the week such as the half price burgers. Tried the pulled pork loaded fries and the bacon burger. Also had the mozzarella sticks and squid bites.
Nathan E — Google review
Came here with my partner recently while visiting the area. Staff were lovely and prices were reasonable, however food wasn't great. The fries were delicious but the steak in my philly cheese steak sub was chewy and wasn't seasoned. Considering you are paying more for a steak than a burger I would have expected it to be cooked and seasoned well. Partner had burger which was average.
Jane B — Google review
Staff very friendly, decor and atmosphere is good, it was clean. That already puts it in front of most places in Blackpool. Good selection of beers and other drinks. I've marked the food down as all the starters are deep fried and the mains were just 'okay' - not bad, but had better. If we went again (which we would do), we'd do mains and check out the desserts. I've given this a 5* overall as I see how other places in Blackpool are massively overrated and it would be a travesty to rate it any lower. It has very acceptable food in good surroundings, with good people.
Karl K — Google review
This is a very popular place for all ages, from adults to children, with a nice ambiance and plenty of food and drink variety. The service was fast, and while the portions were huge, I personally felt the food was only average. We requested for a medium rare steak, but 1 end of the steak was medium rare while the other end was rare.
Shereen — Google review
The west coast rock cafe is a great restaurant nestled in the square in Blackpool's Town centre. It has a great American rock theme and you can tell it has live music roots. The menu is themed around American and Mexican food with a huge variety of burgers, fajitas and more. We had the burgers and they were delightfully juicy and tender. The mozzarella sticks were impressively good with a very tasty salsa and that perfect string pull of the cheese. The staff were warm and friendly. We were very impressed overall with the West Coast Rock Cafe
Gavin W — Google review
Staff were great and we had quick service, the prices aren’t bad and the food COULD be very well priced too depending on when you go. The burger I got was alright, it tasted alright but the burger itself looked very cheap almost like you could buy 5 of them for £2 in the heron frozen section, generally though the whole burger all together tasted alright, the baconaise tasted more like perinaise like. Got curly fries too which were class but when aren’t they? You can come on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday and get different food half price, so on a Monday for example half price burgers, which would have made this a 4 star review if that’s when I went for pure value for money. The decor of the place is dated and isn’t much more than what you can see in the pic - apart from a few cheap guitars with a similar paint style to what’s on the wall also in the pic
Liam F — Google review
The cafe is great! Located near the Winter Gardens it was ideal for our trip. The staff were really friendly and the food was brilliant. My dad, who is a bit particular about his food, loved it too. We will definitely be back!
Allan C — Google review
We stopped by for a small bite to eat at West Coast Rock Cafe on our short weekend away & was kind of left a little wanting after eating. The service was a little lacklustre, with no acknowledgement from any staff members * when my order arrived it came in bits, as in meal first, then bread & butter a minute later. Meal was hot & fresh but not well presented and I kind of hot the vibe that their forte is rock nights & heavy nights out as opposed to being a cafe/restaurant. Customer service would definitely be polished up a little. Not bad.

Great little cafe behind the prom so it's not as packed or as expensive as those on the seafront. Good food, friendly service and reasonably priced.

Visited the cafe this morning, we got served fairly quick by the young chap who was extremely pleasant. All staff was attentive which was good. We got our drinks quickly the coffee was good with food to follow shortly after. The breakfast was nice , enjoyed the option of beans or tomatoes. Will be back for the roast dinners on Sunday whilst on holiday. I do recommend to anyone who wants a quick stop to have a bite to eat

Came here on a Sunday morning before our long car journey back to South London. This is, by far, the best breakfast I have ever had. It was absolutely delicious, piping hot, the atmosphere was great and the decor was very unique. I unfortunately didn’t grab the name of the waiter who served us, but he was friendly and attentive. Really recommend

We were impressed by the wide selection of food and drinks, catering perfectly to both children and adults. The service was notably quick, and every member of staff we encountered was pleasant and welcoming. Portions were satisfactory, and we found the pricing to be quite reasonable.

First time visiting Blackpool and this is one of the nicest, reasonably priced places. Fresh lovely cooked and flavored dishes, with a wide variety for both meat and vegetarian/vegan lovers and gluten free options. Very relaxed atmosphere. Good quick service and nice cocktails.
Lolly M — Google review
The place looked busy outside and downstairs as we passed by, so we decided to stop in for some food. We opted for a selection of tapas to share. There was plenty of space available inside, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our food arrived quickly and was all very tasty — the Harissa Skewers were the standout dish for us, though everything was enjoyable. However, the service was inconsistent. We placed two separate drinks orders, and on both occasions, the dirty dishes were left on our table. Eventually, a staff member came over — after finishing a conversation with colleagues nearby — and cleared only some of the pots, leaving the rest behind.

If you need a spot for you and your bestie to come and gossip, laugh or even cry this is the place for you. Iced coffees on hand and such wonderful staff ! Me and my friend have been coming to vintro for the best of 2 years and we wouldn’t change it for the world. Their bacon and avocado chicken burgers are just 10/10 and their cocktails also NEVER fail. I highly recommend vintro lounge (already do it on a daily basis) 🫶🏻

The toilets very modern and were kept very clean. I'd definitely recommend people to eat in the Vintro Lounge Blackpool 👌.

Michael Wan's Mandarin is a well-established restaurant in Blackpool, offering a mix of traditional and modern Cantonese cuisine. It has been serving customers for over 55 years and is highly regarded by critics and visitors alike. The restaurant provides a warm oriental welcome and features set-price banquets as well as weekly live music events, creating a vibrant dining atmosphere. In addition to its delectable Chinese dishes, the restaurant boasts excellent decor, staff, and service that contribute to its great vibe.
The best service of any restaurant in Blackpool. We had four courses on the banquet menu. Which consisted of soup, starters, three mixed dishes with rice and sorbet to finish. The food was excellent and service is second to none in Blackpool. The staff are amazing. We will be visiting again

Brilliant staff, asked for recommendations and the waiter clearly knew what he was talking about. Made some excellent recommendations. Good food allergy information and good awareness of gluten free requirements. Best atmosphere in a restaurant I've been in for a long time. Thank you for a good night, will be back.

Visiting friends in Blackpool and they raved about this place. And oh man was it justified. We got the Mandarin Banquet and had the best meal I've maybe ever had. Food was top quality, four courses of beautifully cooked heaven. The service was top class, all servers were so kind and helpful and friendly and we even got complimentary shots at the end to celebrate my friend's graduation. Amazing experience, top class food and just sad that I don't give closer to Blackpool to come again!
Matt J — Google review
First time trying the Mandarin after hearing so many positive things for a long time. We had the Banquet A menu which is a starter platter followed by 3 mains and fried rice. Everything was excellent, really high quality, very fresh and tasty. This is about as good as Chinese food gets in Blackpool. The restaurant is very nice, service is good, everything is done to make your experience special. I will add, as this is a review, that you do pay for that extra quality. For the meal for two plus a drink each and prawn crackers as an extra, our bill with service charge was just short of a ton. I will definitely return for a special occasion.

Nice. Is it the best Chinese I've ever had. No. Is it good. Yes. Is it expensive. Yes. Is the decor nice. Yes. Would I go again. Probably no. Just because I've had better and a better value. It also didn't help that the waiter told me what i came in for wasn't recommended and most people leave it aside.

On holiday in Blackpool for a few days. On my birthday we decided to go for a meal here on arrival there was already a birthday group there celebrating. I said to the waiter oh I see I'm not the only one with a birthday today. He wished me happy birthday and took our order. The food that we ate was absolutely amazing and to top the evening off after we had eaten the 2 waiters came up to our table bearing a small birthday cake ice cream with a candle singing happy birthday to you. The ambiance was exceptional, with a beautifully designed interior that created the illusion of dining outdoors, adding a unique and romantic touch to the experience. We ordered the Lasagna and Steak, both of which were expertly prepared and cooked to perfection. Each dish was flavorful and showcased the chef’s attention to detail, making the meal truly memorable. The service was outstanding. Our waiter was attentive, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant dining experience. They even kindly offered to take a photo for us, which, while slightly embarrassing 😅, was a thoughtful gesture that added to the evening’s charm. Overall, this restaurant is an excellent choice for a romantic date. The combination of exquisite food, elegant ambiance, and exceptional service makes it a place I would highly recommend and gladly return to.

Cute little Italian place just handy for Premier Inn. Layout is very hard surfaces so was very clattery with a table of 10 in beside us.... Staff service excellent and food lovely and served hot . All the usual staples you would expect from an Italian Disabled people beware steps at bar entrance and toilets up a steep flight of stairs.

Amazing everything. Excellent wine, all the food was delicious I had the Francesca pizza which was superb. Tiramisu was exquisite, light and great conbination of flavour and texture. Water for the table, free Limoncello with the bill. Service was fast, efficient, friendly and hilarious. Had the best time. Would 100% visit again. Best Italian in Blackpool. Thankyou for everything you were all brilliant.

Bella Italia in Blackpool, located on Victoria Street, is a casual Italian restaurant offering a variety of pasta, pizza, and grill dishes. The restaurant also provides a special menu for children. Additionally, they serve a surprisingly good value cooked breakfast with options like the Bella Breakfast and various pancake stacks. It's an ideal spot to enjoy authentic Italian cuisine in a relaxed setting while exploring the vibrant streets of Blackpool.
The whole experience was impecible compared to the awful service and food we received at Bella Italia Leicester Square London. We were blown away!! The food was lovely, the staff went above and beyond, even with other customers it was so lovely to see! We felt so special and had the most enjoyable family meal that we’ve ever had!

The food was great. Best sweet potato fries I think I’ve had and the chicken carbonera was amazing. The service was quite slow and their QR code ordering wasn’t working correctly. You need reservations for larger groups.
Kristen S — Google review
We travel a lot around Europe, but my search for good food in Blackpool proved to be a major letdown. The dining landscape seems limited to fish and chips and fast food. Best you can get are average Italian restaurants like Bella Italia - serving very basic, home-style dishes. And even these simple eateries require weekend reservations. While the service was generally fine, it offered nothing memorable. The overall experience of eating out in Blackpool was disappointing - I ended up cooking most of our meals myself. Given the simplicity of the food and the prices, the price-to-performance is a mere 2 stars.

A lovely meal with my son, freshly prepared food, I ordered a 'go lighter' 1/2 pizza & salad, the pizza was bigger than i expected and delicious. The restaurant was very busy as pre show at the Winter Gardens, we didn't have to wait long for service. Reasonable prices and I could use my Blue Light Card for discount, thankyou. 😊

We were greeted as we arrived and taken to our table. We were a hen party of 7 and were sat near to the bar. Our server whose name I cannot remember so I shall have to describe him (red hair & a beard and hadn’t been working back there long) was quick to greet us and take our drinks order, even helping us choose what we wanted by suggesting ideas. He was really friendly and helpful and quick to bring the drinks over. He even checked to see if they were ok. As we had pre-booked with a party company and had chosen from a menu that company had provided us with quite a while ago, our server apologised and told us that they no longer do the roast chicken and hadn’t for sometime but could recommend other different types of chicken instead. After re-choosing some main courses our meals were quick to come out to us from the kitchen alongside us. The food was absolutely delicious from the starters, mains and right down to the desserts. We thoroughly enjoyed it all and again our server kept coming over checking if the food was ok and if we needed any further drinks. Once we had finished and wanted to leave, our server quickly got us a bill for the extra drinks that we had (we had one drink each included in the party deal). We made payment and made sure to tip well as the meal and service is one of the best any of us had for a long time. Not only was our server attentive to our needs, he also went above and beyond, plugging in a phone and an e-cig to recharge them for a couple of party members while we ate. Exceptional service!

Very nice service from the beginning. You can enter without a reservation, which is definitely a big plus. Very good pizza at a normal price. Fresh and delicious. The only minus is that the prices for drinks are too high.

Bentley's Fish & Chip Shop, located on Bond Street in Blackpool, is a popular spot known for its traditional fish and chips. The shop offers dine-in service and has received high ratings for its delicious food and excellent service. It is also recognized for its gluten-free options, welcoming atmosphere, and fast service. Additionally, Bentley's has been honored with prestigious awards such as the Gold Seal and Travellers Choice Award.
We went here on the 17th May after a day at the pleasure beach after being recommended by multiple people in the theme park community. I was actually blown away by the staff on how polite, attentive and efficient they were, it's just something you don't see as much nowadays at quick service restaurants, it's refreshing to see. The food was great, we sat outside and the staff brought the food out after a short wait despite it being really busy. The fish and chips were piping hot and fresh and at £9 ish for medium fish and chips it was great value too for the amount of food you get. A million times better than any chippy on the sea front.
Joseph A — Google review
Great chippie down a side street near the South pier , friendly service and reasonable prices. I had the large fish and chips which was very filling. That was £11.40 . Nice atmosphere and seemed to get pretty busy for a Sunday tea time. Would recommend.

I drive six hours to reach Blackpool, and the thought of lunch at Bentley's spurs me on. A small fish 'n' chips, a scallop, mushy peas, curry sauce, and a slice of bread and butter. It's unrivalled! I always eat in. The restaurant is immaculate. The staff are welcoming. The whole experience is top-notch, year in, year out. 100% recommend.

If you're on the hunt for a culinary adventure in Blackpool, look no further than Twisted Indian Street Food. This award-winning gem, located near North Pier on Clifton Street, has earned accolades like the prestigious Street Food Restaurant of the Year at the English Curry Awards 2022.
We were in Blackpool for one night and found this restaurant through Google. What a find!!!!! It said reservations were required but we turned up hopefully. No problem, and we got a table for the two of us. The food was absolutely superb. I had a jhalfrezi which was one of the best I have ever had. My wife had the butter chicken which again was fabulous. I had a pint of Cobra which was perfect and my wife had a red wine, which was, again, very, very good. If we lived in the area, rather than some 300 miles north this restaurant would definitely be a regular haunt of ours. We can recommend Twisted Indian without hesitation. Absolutely fantastic!!!!
David R — Google review
Amazing Indian food cooked on order. Genuinely the nicest Indian meal I've had in a long time. You can taste all the fresh ingredients and the effort put into each dish. Lamb chop were fantastic and Chicken was cooked to perfection unlike other restaurants that just reheat or cook in bulk. We had 4 different main curries and they were all delicious. My new favourite Indian restaurant in the county.
A D — Google review
Went here for evening meal before going to the theatre - the service was great (although we were the only ones in) Our waitress was kind, friendly and helpful but also gave us space. We only had 2 main meals - Biryani and Karahi with rice 1 coke and 2 lemonades - Came to £54 so for 1 curry and a drink costing £27 seemed a little excessive. The food was amazing though. Just not really worth that price. Don't think I would go back which is a shame. I am also aware that we were in a restaurant and not having takeaway.
Anne L — Google review
Absolutely delicious food! All freshly made when you order and the quality was perfect! The guy who served us was really kind and helpful, he happy advised us on portion sizes and recommendations and knowledge on some of the items we didn't know! They had some issues with card payments and could only take cash which they told us before we seated and were happy for us to order then go draw money to pay for the bill once we knew how much we would need. Would highly recommend, the atmosphere and staff made the meal that much more enjoyable! Ordered the cauliflower pakoras, hands down the best thing I've ever had and a chicken masala
Beth S — Google review
Taking into consideration the recommendation and the prices of the food I was expecting a high dining experience. What you expect and what I actually received were mile apart. Yes we were in a party of 30, however if a restaurant takes the booking then you’d expect to receive service where your food is delivered all in one for individual meals. Chips delivered to the table and then had to wait for my curry for another 15 minutes, Chapatti never arrived. 3 other family members had their meal whilst I sent mine back. Worst curry meal I’ve ever had, this is not a place to visit. I can’t comment of the taste of the food as I didn’t have it.
Gareth A — Google review
We had a decent experience overall, but a few things held it back from being great. The starter was excellent and set a high expectation, but the mains didn’t quite match up—my chicken was a little on the dry side. For the price point, we expected a bit more in terms of quality. Service throughout was very good, and we had no issue paying the full service charge. However, there was an uncomfortable moment when a conversation—possibly between the owner or a manager and a younger staff member—took place within earshot of customers. These kinds of discussions are best kept behind the scenes. All in all, it’s a 4-star experience from us, but with a few small improvements, it could easily be a 5.
Thistimenextyr1 — Google review
I came here with my boyfriend for a meal to celebrate his birthday. had a lovely welcoming off Yasmin service was amazing. Yasmin and Emily talked us through the menu where we decided to have a chicken vindaloo and creamy chicken curry. Hands down the best Indian i have ever been to, well worth the money and the food was out of the this world. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting something special and a memorable experience.

Notarianni Ices is a family-run ice cream parlor in Blackpool that has been serving homemade vanilla ice cream since 1928. The shop was opened by Luigi Notarianni and is now run by the fourth generation of the family, Luca and Maddalena. Their milkshakes are highly recommended, loaded with ice cream, chocolate mint, and coconut.
We all have different flavours and loved every one of them after hearing about it for years but not thinking much after being told that they only do vanilla flavour ice cream but with all the toppings and other things they add to it we was blown away
Laura W — Google review
INCREDIBLE ICE CREAM!! If you’re in Blackpool you have to get some from here! They only do vanilla flavour ice cream but it’s so tasty and with lots of amazing toppings, it’s even better! The sundaes and milkshakes also look amazing!
M M — Google review
What's more important? Flavour of ice cream or the toppings, Notarianni makes a strong case that all you need is an incredible tasting home made vanilla ice cream and load it up with as many toppings as you want. Definitely a must for any ice cream lover. Delicious on all levels.
Alexander H — Google review
Lives up to the hype. Huge and delicious icecreams. We went two days in a row! We did get the impression from Google that you could sit/eat in which didn't seem to be the case on the days we went. Don't know what that's about but there are benches nearby and of course the beach!
Dfdg F — Google review
Notarianni Ice Cream. Simply the best and has been for decades. Family run business just off the promenade. You only get a choice of vanilla ice cream but it’s like no other. All the usual toppings. Regularly go and at the end of the season they usually sell big tubs at great prices. Miss it and you’ll miss out.

Nestled in the picturesque Lytham St Annes, Beach Cafe is a spacious eatery that boasts ample outdoor seating, perfect for soaking up the sun while enjoying your meal. This charming spot serves an all-day breakfast alongside light bites and hearty main dishes, catering to various tastes with vegetarian and gluten-free options available. The atmosphere is lively, especially on weekends when families flock to savor the delicious offerings at reasonable prices.
Firstly the cafe is based a few minutes walk from the beach. There’s inside and outside seatings. It’s self service where you make your order at the till and staff were very friendly. The restaurant is also family ran The steak pie was very tasty, it was filled with meat and the gravy really goes well with it. It also had the option for mash potatoes, new potatoes or fries Soup of the day was also lovely and came with a side of crispy bread. There’s oat milk and almond milk alternatives for hot drinks As for desserts they have a variety of ice cream flavours and 3 other desserts (sticky toffee pudding is one of them but can’t recall the others) Dogs aren’t allowed inside the restaurant but there are also plenty of seatings outside. They also sell some doggy treats at the till
Charize D — Google review
Super close to the beach with free parking and staff are friendly enough. It took a while to get the food as it’s so busy being so close to the beach. However it was £13.95 for a fish and chips and the fish was so small and so was the chips portion - add £1.95 for a bottle of water seemed very expensive but it was close. Added pic of receipt and fish and chips as proof. I’m still in shock this is £8 at my local and twice the size .
Super D — Google review
The food was really good and of a high quality. The atmosphere was great and the service was great too.

Busy place especially sundays but worth a visit. Very fair prices. Excellent choice menu and fabulous food, clean cafe, tables cleaned quickly. Family run so care taken to make sure everything OK. Find table then order, service is quick. Better be hungry if you order large breakfast.
Karen C — Google review
Visited Sunday just before 3pm .... queue of around 10 people at till constantly, taking 20 mins at snails pace to get to front of it, as one staff member manning till AND making the coffees/drinks/ice creams that people ordered with the occasional 2nd person turning up who seem to do next to nothing !!! Total lack of interest from anyone behind that counter that I could see. Staff wondering about filling up ketchup sachets and cleaning. Clearly more interested in closing up routines than serving/reducing the wait times for paying customers. If you want to close and go home at 4 then stop taking orders earlier but to have a skeleton staff on the till is not only frustrating but shows a complete lack of interest in your customer experience. I won't be going back.
Daniel W — Google review
Great place for a lunch on a sunny day outside,or inside if it's cooler. Staff are helpful and friendly although it is a busy place and attracts all generations depending on the day of the week and time. There is plenty of choice on the menu and the children's menu is good quality food too. The café is licensed and serves a variety of hot and cold drinks. There is plenty of seating inside and out and a takeaway hatch for ice creams. Location is next to the beach and car park at the end of the promenade. Definitely worth a visit.
ChrisG G — Google review
Nice little cafe near enough sat on the long sandy beach of StAnnes. Large payable carpark with direct sandy beach access and free main road parking. Both good bases for a walk along the Promenade. The cafe is ideal for lunch or just grabbing an ice cream and coffee before or after a nice seaside stroll. Visited a few times and will visit a few more too.
Stacey — Google review
Overall it's a great cafe. But it's just a bit second place in almost everything. Food was great, but not fantastic, good menu, but not amazing. Seating and cleanliness was great, but not super. (Scenery was fantastic). Prices not bad, but not brilliant either. Staff, two were great, 3 were just awful. Incredibly fast service, too fast suggesting microwaved meals. Lots of inconsiderate walkers dragging mud and sand inside, thinking they own the place, acting very selfishly. Building outside looks good but needs some TLC. Very busy place. Recommended it if your nearby.

Café Number Five • Cedar Square is a popular breakfast spot in Blackpool, offering a variety of classic favorites and creative combinations of sausage, egg, and bacon baps. The menu caters to vegetarians, vegans, and gluten-free diets.

I've visited this nice coffee shop as I was looking for an independent shop rather than the usual chains. It's a shame as whilst the coffee was actually pretty good, the level of service was fairly poor as the girls were continuously giggling and laughing at the coffee machine, including some coughing during the preparation of the drinks in close vicinity of the machine. The guy next to me who ordered before me and was waiting didn't look too pleased either. Some laughing is fine, but a 10min wait due to giggling isn't great. The coffee is good.

Had a wee break down in Blackpool last week and as we stayed in apartments we decided to pop in here for a breakfast as we've not been in for a while and it was excellent. I love a fry up for my breakfast and my wife just prefers toast and jam,so that's exactly what we ordered! I got small breakfast for £8 and I admit it definitely hit the spot. The next day I decided to go for the big breakfast at £9 and it was magic! Staff were very friendly and helpful and the place was busy. All in all a nice wee start to the day and of course the plates both days were cleared lol. Well definitely be back guys!

Nestled along the vibrant coastline, Promenade Café is a charming seaside spot that promises a warm and inviting atmosphere. With its quirky decor adorned with an eclectic mix of wall-mounted artifacts, this family-run café stands out as a delightful choice for breakfast or light meals. The menu boasts an impressive array of all-day breakfasts, including generous portions like the "mega" and "mighty" options, perfect when paired with a steaming cup of tea or coffee.
Lovely place for breakfast. Nice food and coffee.

Lovely little cafe by the promenade. Found it on the off chance. Food was decent, service was decent. Friendly place. Quirky decoration what I like. Prices are the usual for cafes around Blackpool anyways. Plenty of options a very diverse menu took us a little while to pick. Gets busy in the morning for breakfast. Would return.

We discovered this café just over two years ago and have been eating there ever since .The staff there are very welcoming with a friendly smile every time we go. There is a nice range of dishes for breakfast which I believe are available all day. We are both vegetarians and always find something we can eat. The poached eggs are a delight I between alternate between fried eggs on crumpets and the cheese and mushroom omelette with beans. There are two full vegetarian breakfasts. The coffee is available in normal and decaffeinated versions. Service is usually very quick. Personally, I find the inside reminds me of Cafes in the south of France. I have attached some photos to give you a better idea. There are an awful lot of other things they do for meat eaters. When we have eaten there for lunch, the chips are crinkle cut which is fairly unusual nowadays I have not studied any other Cafe Blackpool, but it is my understanding that their prices are extremely competitive. However we don’t eat there because they are cheap. We go as often as we can because the food is excellent the service the same and the place is also very clean, including the toilet. They are only five minutes walk from North Pier and the nearest tram stop is pleasant Street as far as I know. We have never had a bad meal there then 15–20 visits. The only pity is that they close at 14. 00 so we can’t have a late afternoon mocha. They’re also closed on Tuesdays which means we have to schedule our visits to Cleveleys on other days. This is how a good honest cafe should be run in my opinion.

*** The biggest full English I have ever seen! *** Arrived early and was served by a very friendly and welcoming lady who took the order. Food was cooked fresh and was delivered to the table promptly. On seeing the breakfast I thought Wow, how am I going to eat all this. I had a good go but despite it tasting amazing I couldn’t eat it all. I will definitely go back and recommend to others.

Lovely little cafe by the seaside. Coffee ground and made fresh and is delicious. Though I didn't have any, food looked and smelled good and was very reasonably priced.

If you're seeking a unique dining experience in Blackpool, look no further than Hungarians Restaurant. Nestled on Topping Street, this charming family-owned bistro offers an inviting atmosphere with its simple white-tablecloth setting. The menu features a delightful mix of authentic Hungarian classics and beloved British dishes, making it the perfect spot for those eager to explore new flavors. Guests rave about the freshness of the food and the warm hospitality provided by multilingual staff members.
A hidden gem. As a group of 11 they accommodated us amazingly, we booked with 30 minutes notice. From the get go we were told that food might be slower as they only have 1 chef, and for a large group we expected it. The food options all sounded so good, it was hard to choose. But going for the traditional Hungarian options was a great decision. I'm a person who can usually eat and eat, but I was absolutely stuffed after the food here. The quality is exceptional, the presentation was beautiful, and the serving sizes are great. If this is your first time having Hungarian, as it was for me, I recommend trying some of the more unique options. I had the Meat Pancake for starter, and the Goulash for Mains.
James R — Google review
Amazing place! Everything is made fresh and the waitress was amazing! She spoke 3 different languages as well! The goulash soup was one of my favorites! Will definitely come here again.

We had never eaten Hungarian food before.. what a revelation! Absolutely bloomin’ LOVED IT! Every course was more delicious than the last.. we were blown away. I wholeheartedly recommend this place. The waitress was lovely, the restaurant itself was lovely, the Hungarian wine was lovely. We WILL BE BACK!

The best chicken schnitzels I ever had in my life. Staff so friendly and nice, food superb. I don't know why I didn't have meal here every day instead of overcooked and burned food at Fish and chips shops. I STRONGLY recommend this restaurant, feeling like sitting at home in my living room. Well done!!! Love it

Been meaning to try this little place for a while. I wasn't disappointed food the food was amazing I had the goulash and the Gypsy steak. The lady who runs the place (sorry I forgot your name) was lovely we had a good chat about all sorts of things. We will be returning thank you so much.

Dined here with my friend Jennie yesterday evening (21st November 2022) The hosts were welcoming and friendly with a good selection of food (and beverages) to choose from. I had a stuffed meat pancake starter, with catfish and chips for my main course 😋. The dessert I chose was a generous slice of honeycomb cheesecake washed down with a can of genuine Hungarian IPA Saproni. I thought it a good choice to eat here, as it is my first time staying in Blackpool. The food was excellent and delicious. A little gem of a restaurant.

A hidden gem in Blackpool. We were presented with the art of food in a plate - they cook from fresh and the chef shows all his love and passion in every single plate. Lovely restaurant, romantic place, delicious food - all that including the friendly owners makes you enjoy every moment. Thank you guys for the lovely dinner that we had with you twice during our stay in Blackpool and we will deffinitely come back because of you! Highly recommended!
Atty J — Google review
Very nice, smallish Hungarian restaurant on the first floor. I found it through Google Maps. Just by walking by I might have missed it - the "on the street" marketing should be more aggressive. And missing it would have been a shame. Having been to Budapest, I can certify that this place offers authentic, good quality Hungarian dishes. The menu is rather small, always a good sign. Despite the reports about "huge" portions, I decided to go for a starter and a mains: Liver pâté, plus goulash. Good thing I did that: The portions were adequate, but certainly not "huge". But the food was tasty and carefully prepared, well presented. And the atmosphere is quiet, always a plus for me personally. Can't praise the service enough! Extremely friendly, helpful, and forthcoming. But the biggest surprise was that the restaurant offers a very decent Hungarian craft IPA: Soproni. Most "exotic" (as in: non-English) restaurants in Blackpool don't care about good beer at all! The restaurant is also a shop for Hungarian delicacies, like eg various sausages, for which the country is justly famous. They don't come cheap though. ;) All in all, wholly recommendable, as are most establishments on this street, excluding the gravely disappointing "Yorkshire Fisheries".

A lovely friendly place. The breakfast is lovely and @ a great price, the food is freshly cooked and you get a lot for the money. Staff very pleasant and friendly, it's a clean and tidy environment. First time visiting the coffee pot but would visit again. Overall a very pleasant and enjoyable place.

I've been here on and off throughout the years. I remember the first time we sat upstairs that we sadly can't do no more. Not a complaint though. The food is brill and staff are lovely. I've never had to take anything back in there before. Prices are class and should be more for what you really get. I would highly recommend the cheese burger with red salt chips or the steak pie that I can never finish! ❤️

The food is excellent, but staff service is very poor. Table not cleaned from previous customers, food slammed down in front of us. Didn't ask if we wanted any condiments. We’ve been going there for years, but the service has gone shockingly poor also a staff member was sweeping down the stairs whilst we were eating.

Excellent service and lovely staff, me and mom always get a sandwich when we are out and about, they even do some for us for the train home.

Lovely everything here except cold food. This gorgeous scone slightly heated would of been infinitely better than cold. Melted butter on a warm scone. Come on! Then I went to another cafe. (The Hive) “Sorry no warm food after 3pm.” I’m very confused in Blackpool. For a colder place near the seaside why don’t they embrace warm food? I know the answer. It’s what I’ve heard before in other situations. “Because it’s always been this way!”

Dirty Blondes is a lively and unapologetic dive bar and pizza joint tucked away in a hidden alley, making it a popular spot among locals. This brash watering hole offers an array of pub grub, including mouthwatering chicken wings, huge NYC-style pizza slices, and loaded fries. The bar exudes a vibrant atmosphere with live music performances and trivia games, creating the perfect setting for a fun night out.
Went yesterday with some friends. Reserved a table and it was ready when we got there. Tried the new Detroit style pizza, it was very good. Only managed half and took the rest home. Also had fries and a meatball loaded fries as well as some chicken tenders. Portion sizes are good for the money. Would highly recommend. We’ll be back.

Lovely dive bar on the back streets of Blackpool. Great playlist of music, nice to see some craft beers from Seven Brothers on tap and only £5 for the IPA a pint which is good. The pizza is huge, it's nice to see some different styles and the pizza is freshly baked. It's perhaps a bit more expensive than you may pay elsewhere but worth it. We had the Philly cheese Steak pizza which was quite spicy but nice. It could have benefitted from a tad more beef if I'm being picky. Would probably be a good venue on an evening.

One of the must try venues in #Blackpool ... The place and atmosphere are good and quite different from most venues around town. Their #Detroit and #NewYork style #pizza were #delicious and I have to say, the best tasting pizza in town that I have tried, so far. I had the Detroit Shroom-raider pizza, NY-style Fat Tony, and NY-style N'duja-know the muffin man pizza. Will definitely be back there again. #foodporn #wanderlust

5 stars isn't enough for this place. The atmosphere was fantastic so relaxed with Decent music. It wasn't so loud you couldn't talk but too quiet where it felt awkward. The food was so goooood!! The portions for the price was bigger than expected and tasted amazing. I'm really surprised with the cocktails aswell. I don't usually order them as you pay a high price for a tiny glass but I really wanted to try one and it was definitely worth it. The staff was so efficient and polite it's the best service iv ever had. I can't remember the girls name who served us but she was soo nice. Will definitely be coming back.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – A Fresh New Chapter for Fresh Café! Wow! The beautiful new premises are a shining example of “when life gives you lemons, make lemonade.” The team has turned a challenge into something truly special. The décor is stunning, the design thoughtful and inviting — every detail feels FRESH and welcoming. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with the warmest of welcomes from a small, dedicated and caring team. This isn’t fast food and nor should it be — everything here is lovingly prepared, proper home-cooked food, beautifully served. It’s worth the short wait for something made with such care. Fresh Café is proof that good things take time and the result is a wonderful dining experience. Well done to the whole team — you’ve created something to be proud of. Highly recommended (booking advised!).

On a visit to St Anne’s on Sea, I called in to this beautiful cafe, as I had heard of its good reputation- it was obviously very busy so, I turned to go. Just then when a member of staff very abruptly and sharply said “sorry we’ve nothing at the moment” her attitude made me feel very uncomfortable. Needless to say I won’t be back. I appreciate they were busy and the lady was telling me so, but I feel the way it was communicated leaves a lot to be desired ! Interpersonal and communication skills need revisiting I think!

Myself and my wife called in last Thursday to have a look as it looked a lovely little place. In side was rustic and well set out. A good range of cheeses and sausage rolls ect. We were hoping to have something to eat on another day. BUT the owner / Manager ( tall well set man) was so rude. Very of hand when we asked about certain products. Customer service needs work. It’s a shame because it looked a place we would have enjoyed.

Number 1 bar in Blackpool! Love this place, Aitor and Taf are masters of customer service. The Experience cocktails are brilliant and in custom hand made glasses. Nothing is too much trouble and they are both very welcoming. If cocktails aren’t for you then there is a vast array of other beverages including a very nice selection of rums. Love this place!

Lovely cocktails, it's £11 per drink for the most fancy ones (come with smoke/novelty mug) and £10 for classic ones. Our son wanted to have his coca cola in one of the novelty mugs and they were more than happy to oblige. Service was a little slower than I'd like (15 mins between finishing and being approached about wanting another drink or passing by) but it was constantly busy and staff were rushed off their feet. I'd go again if ever go back to Blackpool. Lovely classy welcoming venue with great staff and great tasting drinks. They do add automatic service charge of 4% which I know some people hate but going out their way to cater for son I was going to tip more than that anyway so great for me as didn't have to mess about when paying.

Abingdon Street Market, located in Blackpool, has recently undergone a revitalization to become the heart of the community once again. The market now features a food hall with six unique street food vendors, two bars, and a coffee house. This transformation aims to put Blackpool on the map as more than just a nightlife destination. The market also offers an open-plan seating area and retail stalls for visitors to enjoy.
A great atmosphere and fab use of the market space. This is a great example of a council re purposing the market space whilst still having a traditional market on site. Great food and no hassle. Order by app at the table. See the QR code next to the table number. Word of warning this place gets busy and depending on who you order from there is a long wait on food on Friday / Saturday nights. Best getting in early.

What really stands out is the variety of food dishes available. There’s truly something for everyone — from freshly made burgers and artisan pizzas to Asian street food, loaded fries, tacos, and more. Every stall offers something unique, and the quality across the board is excellent. You can tell a lot of care goes into both the flavours and presentation. The bar service is equally impressive — friendly staff, a great choice of drinks (including craft beers and cocktails), and quick service even during busier times. Whether you're popping in for a quick lunch, dinner with friends, or just a drink or two, Abingdon Street Market has you covered. Highly recommend visiting — it’s a brilliant addition to Blackpool’s food and drink scene!

Came here for first time today and was absolutely delighted 😁 really great place, great atmosphere, and great food! Just what Blackpool needs to keep up! We had food at Neighborhood Subs which was delicious. Dining areas tables were really clean, great that they had high chairs to use. Music was at right level were you could talk and chill, and not have to shout over each other. Staff were very friendly. We loved the little photobooth! And it's great that it let's download the pictures so easier to post on social media. The artwork around the building was so cool! Toilets also very clean. We will 100% be back! Don't understand any negative reviews, we had a brilliant time.

We came here for dinner the atmosphere is brilliant there was dj on, there's multiple food vendors to choose from and a bar. It was great for us a as a family because the kids don't always want the same thing as us so having the different choices made dinner time a lot easier. I would definitely be returning on the future and would recommend any body to try it. The food was very nice with no complaints, reasonably priced and all the staff are very polite and helpful.

Really chilled out atmosphere.first time visiting and will definitely be back again. We only had drinks which were plenty of choice and the food looked good too.

I love it here. The food has certainly gotten a little more pricey in recent times though. There is a choice of Japanese, Burgers, Pizzas, Mexican and more as well as a couple of bars. Order your food & it's brought to you. You can mix and match. There's a delightful market with some lovely quirky shops selling vintage clothes & jewellery & cards and the like. I always like to visit when I am in Blackpool. I love it ❤️

The food was really nice and filling. Though my one problem would be please read the notes customers leave. If I ask for NO ONIONS on a burger, that should also include NO ONION RINGS...

Solid menu that includes a healthier version of the full English (poached or scrambled eggs, grilled bacon/sausage, etc) and even does outside catering. Staff are polite and friendly, the owner is always floating about making conversation with customers. Nice food and nice atmosphere.

The Best Western Carlton Hotel is a relaxed and well-regarded hotel located on Blackpool's North Promenade, offering stunning sea views and easy access to attractions like Blackpool Tower and Winter Gardens. The hotel provides a peaceful retreat away from the city center, with a tram stop conveniently located outside for easy transportation. Guests can enjoy a delightful afternoon tea by the shore with picturesque views of the Fylde Coast.
A good hotel in a great and quiet location. Near to Funny Girls, which was where we were going. Rooms were a good size with a very comfy bed and pillows. A bit of tlc required to paintwork but overall very nice. Bathroom was very large. Tea/coffee facilities along with a bottle of water and biscuits. Breakfast was very nice and satisfying. Nice room to have breakfast and other meals or snacks. Not to far to walk to the Tower and other landmarks. Would definitely stay again. We were upgraded to a seaview and bigger room.

Stayed here for 3 nights it was good for the money. Good sized room comfortable bed . You don’t need much more than that for a holiday in Blackpool. The decor is a little tired in places and the shower rails were a little rusty but the staff were very friendly. It’s a bit of a walk from the town centre but it’s still only about 15 minutes. I was happy with my stay and would stay again. A quick point about the rooms they are not soundproofed and you can hear the sausage action noises and then the snoring in the next room.
Stuart C — Google review
Our room was tired in places. The mattress and pillows were comfortable. Self service breakfast was lovely. We paid £57 including breakfast for one night midweek stay which was very good value for money.
Anne W — Google review
Really disappointed with our stay. Paid just over £300 for 3 nights as a surprise for my husband for his birthday. Also had to pay £15 for parking on top of it. We come into the room and it smelt really damp and like wet dog. We sprayed some perfume and deodorant in the hope it would get better. The room itself was okay but wasn’t the best for the price. We went out and come back in the evening and the room still smell really bad. We spoke to reception and they said they wouldn’t be able to move us as there is no other suitable room till the following night. I asked them if there was any air fresheners or cleaner available to get rid of the smell and they said no and were not helpful at all and rather rude. We ended up buying two air fresheners one an automatic release one and one we spray , we ended up using nearly all of the both of them in 2 days the smell was that bad and it still didn’t get rid of the bad smell. We had a headache the whole 3 days we were there due to having to use that much air freshener as the smell was so sickly. Reception was no help at all. I’m really disappointed in our stay and would never stay here again!! We intentionally stayed out of the hotel to avoid the smell.

Very clean bathroom which was well stocked. comfy bed and clean. not enough pillows or cups for 5 ppl. Hall decor tired. Bar and restaurant good food and good selection drinks. Good value room. Rare find for a family of 5. The kids loved the bunk beds and sofa bed. Service by both hosts exceptional day and evening. Thank you, staff doing a great job.
Jaimie L — Google review
Do not have the beer in this place not only do you pay through the nose for it, guaranteed you won't even drink it after your first sip. I have drunk guinness all my life and that was the worst, ever. Room was basic but nice, the bed was mega comfy. Breakfast next morning was needed and we'll worth it. Considering it was buffet service from food warmers, all the food was hot. Very enjoyable.
John W — Google review
Well located near the north pier, the hotel is quiet, with a very handy tram stop directly outside. The room was on the third floor, the hotel lift was quick and reliable, which is important for me with mobility issues, the room had a Seaview. The bathroom had a small step up into it, however the shower and bath weren't accessible to me. I did not ask for an accessible room, however many hotels have hand rails for the bath. The breakfast was not great, the staff do try their hardest the eggs were made to order, but everything was very spread apart rather than it being in a centralised way. It may be better for the hotel to cook breakfast to order as I imagine this would save waste. It is also a little expensive if not part of your booking. The staff were very friendly and beds were made up each day.
Leanne R — Google review
£231/ night for a so called “superior room” Room was dirty , dusty, had stains on the chairs and roof. A stain on the headboard which cleaned off with a tissue so it clearly wasn’t cleaned prior to our arrival, unless it was cleaned by Mr Wonder. The room (110) bathroom looked like it was from the 90s and was run down. Paint peeling and on the floor. Bunk beds dusty and dirty. Not good. (£5 to park your car in the car park for a night which I can understand, however i wants aware of that before checking in. ) We compiled to the lady at the front desk and were given the choice to have that room or swap rooms and we chose the latter due to time, As we had two children with us and it was now getting to around 8:00pm. The second room was an improvement however I believe the vacuum user was again. Mr Wonder. More paint peel on the floor. A curly black hair and a finger nail. However at this time we just chose to put up with it as the children were growing tired. Upon ordering a drink from the bar the lady gave us a beer and j2o on the house to apologise which was appreciated. Breakfast was great to be honest and so were the breakfast staff. No complaints there what so ever. Upon checkout I discovered I was charged £10 for chocolate which I did not receive and so queried this. I was told it was a mistake and was refunded £5. So to summarise this hotel. Room cleanliness is not great what so ever 1/5 Staff on the reception 3/5. Weren’t too happy with having to clean or swap rooms how we did give two drinks on the house so fair enough. Breakfast 4/5 was nice, plentiful and great staff. View of th e sea was great however windows were not clean so 3/5 Car park had a skip and lots of broken glass however this could be poor workmanship and nothing To do hotel staff. £5/night parking is not great considering it’s just a car park. Not enclosed or especially secure. I think if this was £100-£130/ night including parking and breakfast then it’s fine. Anything more than that like we paid (231 less £5 for mistaken chocolate) no. Premier in is much more acceptable. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Lovely place to eat. Food was delicious. My daughter and one year old granddaughter shared a tuna toastie and carrot cake. My granddaughter went mad for the toastie. My daughter said the coleslaw was one of the best she'd had. I had the cherry cheesecake. There is a lovely selection of homemade cakes and they are huge! Also a large selection of Wallings ice cream It was amazing. Staff lovely and friendly. Will definitely be going again.

Bispham Kitchen is a well presented cafe / chippy with the kind of vibe you would expect to seen in a fancy restaurant. Plenty of drink options from fizzy drinks on draft and options for alcohol too. The menu is spread out so a good look through is advised unless you know what you want. Me and the missus went for the steak pudding chips peas and gravy , pudding was tasty and the chips cooked just right But the whole meal was warm and not hot. We were hungry so mopped it up anyways. Bigger than normal puddings. Kids had their fish and chips. Price wise responsible!! Could have done with a few more chips as the position was a bit tight also just need to make sure the meals they bring out is at least piping hot and not Luke warm. There was a large option of cakes too if I was in the mood for a cake I would have had one they did look nice.

Bispham Kitchen offers a consistently outstanding dining experience that combines high-quality food, warm hospitality, and excellent value for money. Whether you’re in the mood for traditional fish and chips, a hearty Sunday-style roast, or a classic homemade dessert, this local favourite delivers every time. The fish is always fresh, the batter perfectly crisp, and the portions generous without being overwhelming. Their roasts are just as impressive—tender meats, fluffy potatoes, and rich, comforting gravy that reminds you of a home-cooked family dinner. What really sets Bispham Kitchen apart, though, is the friendly and welcoming service. The staff go out of their way to make you feel at home, creating a relaxed and inviting atmosphere that’s perfect for both casual meals and special occasions. The restaurant itself is clean, well-maintained, and pleasantly cosy, making it a pleasure to dine in.

If you fancy a quieter lunch away from the noise of Blackpool main drag would suggest to try Bispham kitchen. Couple of tram stops along the prom - alight at Bispham itself. Nice looking establishment very clean & spacious. I just went for fish & chips but other choices available. Find a table & order at the counter & small bar. Food came quite quickly, haddock, chips, mushy peas & was good quality. Portion size probably a little smaller than others. Nice place bit more relaxed than others on prom & I would visit again

Never understand the negative reviews, anytime we come to blackpool we always eat here. It’s cheap and cheerful and the kids love it. We always have decent portion sizes and kids eat free. For the prices it’s good and we can’t complain. We always enjoy it.

I also believe the names changed now too, you order your food via a QR code. My recent visit left much to be desired. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was met with lackluster service and an ambiance that felt more like a cafeteria than a fine dining establishment. The menu boasted an array of gourmet options, but the reality fell short. The food was bland and uninspired, lacking any discernible flavor or finesse. Even the presentation was lackluster, with dishes haphazardly thrown together on the plate.
Mike B — Google review
There needs to be a choice of 0 stars. I wish I hadn’t bothered. The food was just inedible! I got the gammon Sunday roast and just couldn’t eat it. My 1 year old who normally wolfs down pasta refused to touch it. It was all cold and it had clearly been sat for hours. Left my food and went to the burger place attached.

Famous fish n chips as its stated absolutely disgusting soft horrible batter chips stone cold mushy peas tasted off as did the gravy also order a coffee . Cheap tasting and non drinkable. Avoid avoid avoid

Absolutely disgusting. The jacket potato was all hard around the edges and hard in the inside and cold. It also had a pink tint to it!. It was not soft and fluffy how it should be. The cheese was tasteless. My. Sons hot dog was cold with a stale bun and the chips were cold and stale. It was absolutely rank.
Hannah H — Google review
I got a pie with chips and mixed veg. The veg was cold and hard. The crust off the pie was too hard too eat which basically met I was leaving a 1/4 off my pie. Someone else with me had Sausage in Onion gravy with mixed veg and boiled potatoes. Again the veg was cold and hard. The gravy was lacking contents off onions and the food service was such that it was stopped onto plates and served to you.
Katreena M — Google review
To start the server ash and one of the cleaners are the best part of the place then you get to the food, which was absolutely terrible the burger had been sat under a light not coverd for what looks like all day, My wife's jacket potato tasted like cleaning products, My farther fish cost £7.95 and the fish well when you found the fish it was small and mostly batter and soggy. My kids could just about eat there sausage as it was tough. Overall really would not recommend this place. ALL THE FOOD SITS UNDER A LIGHT UNCOVERD WITH FLYS LANDING ON THEM. PLEASE AVOID.
Phil — Google review
The food is just acceptable and very overpriced! The service was simply unwelcoming and unfriendly. We were there as a family with my 2 year old daughter, who had had a great time up to this point. The staff made us feel like we were an inconvenience to them. We are not impressed and will not be returning to this outdated food outlet. Honestly, it was like we had walked into the greasy spoon from Only Fools and Horses. One elderly female staff member was particularly unpleasant, but since the place is so unprofessional, they didnt even have name badges so I cant unfortunately say who it was. I felt sorry for the poor young woman who had to work with her.

My friend, Tom and I visited on Easter Day. Arrived around 10.20am and the venue was gradually filling up. Went here on the back of a few Youtubers recommendations and so glad we went. Tom went with light and fluffy scrambled egg on toast. I had full english in a frying pan. Very filling, tasty and a great way to start the day. Had a pot of tea too. we visited for a light lunch before watching the air show and the food looked nice from previous reviews. However, we did have to wait 35 minutes for two chicken Caesar salad salads. When they arrived, we were shocked at the size of the portion. It was also just a basic garden salad (lettuce, tomato, cucumber and red pinion) with chicken and bacon + caesar dressing on the side and a few croutons. It also arrived in a VERY small bowl and with very little lettuce to which we were hungry again 30 minutes later. We cannot knock the food, as it was lovely but the size was far too small and also it wasn’t what we ordered. And for £12.95 I was GOBSMACKED

The food was somewhat lacklustred, especially for the price and such a limited menu. The service was ok i guess, only a few issues but to list them will tell the staff exactly who I am, although im sure the ritual humiliation from the waiting staff seemed to be so nature that it can only be a common occurrence. The atmosphere, its quite a cold venue, rather blank and empty lacking anything of substance to make it feel modern or welcoming, the walls are covered in cuts, gouges and such, paint is chipped everywhere and even the furniture is dirty and tables are more crooked than a politician. And if anyone makes a noise it echos so when 3 Karen's sit at the back, noone can speak because you cant hear the people sat next to you

The cafe PALMA CAFÉ is a good old fashioned cafe that serves tasty food with neatly sized portions. The staff are friendly and efficient, and the tables are quickly cleaned. I have visited the cafe twice and would have probably been more often had I discovered it earlier in my holiday. The first time I had a bacon sandwich or barm, which was really well cooked. The second time I had egg and chips, and my son had a cheeseburger.
Nice traditional near the carpark. Came in for a cuppa while waiting for my friend. Very clean with ample seating for watching the world go by. Staff polite and fast service.

Food was decent overall, but I felt it could use a bit more seasoning to really bring out the flavors. Some dishes were a bit bland, but otherwise, a pleasant experience.

Very quick service. Food is good, old fashioned cafe food. It is tasty with nicely sized portions. Tables are quickly cleaned and staff are friendly and efficient. Been twice and would have probably been more often had I discovered it earlier in my holiday. First time I had a bacon sandwich or barm as they say here. Really well cooked. The second time I had egg and chips and my son had a cheeseburger. His burger was nice with plenty of cheese and onions. My egg and chips were fine. My only criticism is the tea is quite expensive at £3.40 for a pot for 2 and the chips had a funny taste which was barely noticeable, I am not sure what caused that but put it down to the oil.

This is one of those cafes that has been around for as long as I can remember, and I recall it in the early 80s, at the very least, like the nearby Mickey Finns cafe. So I thought I'd finally try it. The food was good but not great, and sadly their coffee was not that memorable. There are no options for vegans. The wait was not that long, so that's a plus, and the seating was comfortable. Toilet facilities are available too. Good for a pit stop away from a busy promenade.

good full english, kind owners, nice small town vibe. yknow it's the kind of place that has the regulars. a teeny tiny bit expensive, but it's right off the coach landing bay in front of the pier, so not really surprised. regardless, would definitely still have to give a strong recommend.

You're certainly not stuck for choice in Blackpool when it comes to fish and chips but chose this place as it actually serves REAL chips and had a proper seaside chippy feel to it. Everything spot on apart from the coffee which was awful but apart from that absolutely fine.

Nestled within the charming World of Water, Ma Bakers Cafe is a delightful spot that promises an unforgettable dining experience. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion like a baby shower or simply enjoying a casual lunch, this cafe shines with its warm and attentive staff who create an inviting atmosphere.
We have been to Ma Bakers a number of times for a snack at lunchtime but on Sunday we had the roast chicken dinner. It was absolutely delicious. The chicken was chunky and plentiful, lovely veg and the roast potatoes were just perfect. Should you have room for a sweet there are lovely looking cakes, puddings and ice cream. The lady on the till is lovely and always has time for a chat. Would definitely recommend paying a visit.

Nice, but Better and Cheaper Elsewhere I pass this café most days, so I thought I’d pop in and give it a go. Straight away, I noticed the pleasant ambience — the place is spacious, clean, and the background music adds to the appeal. My wife couldn’t wait to try one of the legendary homemade cakes and chose the classic scone. She wasn’t disappointed — she said it tasted wonderful. I opted for the sausage, egg, and chips, and again, I wasn’t disappointed. The eggs and chips were cooked to perfection, and the sausage meat was clearly good quality. Top marks for the meal. However, I did feel the prices were a little on the high side compared with Café 25 in Blackpool and the Art Deco Café in Stanley Park, which I think cater to a similar clientele. One small thing — I’m not sure about the dog blankets draped over the backs of the chairs; they seem a little out of place in an otherwise smart setting.

We thought we'd try this cafe as it is quite local to us. It was ok. Partner stood for ages waiting to be served (it wasn't busy but the staff were chatting 😕) The food was ok. The only option for a sandwich is an open one, messy. I had coronation chicken, the curry mayo wasn't mixed in properly (white clumps of mayo throughout), most of my bread wasn't buttered and the salad dressing was all over the coleslaw too. It tasted ok but I didn't eat it all. Both meals looked like they'd been dumped on the plates, once again the cafe wasn't busy. The coffee was nice. We didn't have cakes.
Louise B — Google review
We have always enjoyed visiting this establishment, but after our recent visit—our first in a couple of years—we regret to say we will not be returning. While we understand rising costs and industry challenges, we were shocked by the pricing. Two simple hot chocolates and two slices of cake totaled £24—excessive for a café rather than a high-end patisserie. The menu structure also felt unnecessarily complex, with unclear food availability. Despite the menu stating baked potatoes were unavailable, we saw a waitress serve one, adding to the confusion. Overall, the experience was disappointing, and we hope the proprietor reconsiders the pricing and menu.

Came to Ma Bakers for a friend's baby shower and had afternoon tea. The staff were all really friendly and attentive and the food was beautiful. Soup, sandwich, sausage roll, mini fish and chips, scone with jam and clotted cream, gingerbread, mini sticky toffee pudding and a mini custard slice. We couldn't finish it and had to bring some home. I drive past this place every day for work and didn't even know it was there. Absolutely beautiful and I definitely will be back x

Ziggy’s Café Bar is a family-run establishment in Blackpool that pays homage to the legendary David Bowie. The café is adorned with memorabilia and is considered a hidden gem by its patrons. The menu receives high praise, with particular emphasis on the breakfast offerings. In addition to traditional English breakfast items, the café surprises guests with American pancakes and maple syrup.
We had a delicious lunch here. I had a Han a pineapple toastie, my partner had the Ziggy club Sandwich. Both came with crisp, coleslaw and side salad. Everything was lovely. We had to get the orange tropical cake to go as we were too full but couldn't resist it, it was full of flavour! Staff friendly and welcoming. Toilets are accessible, small step up into cafe.

Located centrally in the heart of Blackpool, near to the Winter Gardens, is a small cafe called Ziggys, which if you haven't guessed, is dedicated to the late great David Bowie. As the wife is a massive Bowie fan we had to go. We sat inside, as the weather wasn't the greatest (is it ever) all the food is Bowie teamed as are the drinks. I ordered the Ziggy club sandwich, which was massive and very filling. Really nice service and nice staff. There's also bowie theam cocktails at a very reasonable price of £6. Thers lots of memrobillia on the walls. Word of caution of you sit outside, watch out for seagulls.
Martin — Google review
What a find. Walking around Blackpool for a coffee shop and came across this cafe. Me being a huge Bowie fan I just had to go in. Great place for a quick bite and the hot chocolate deluxe was amazing. Full of Bowie posters and memorabilia on the walls. Even the cocktail menu is Bowie themed. Definitely recommend.
Craig D — Google review
Had a lovely lunch at this family run café while out shopping. It's tucked away in a quiet pedestrianised square behind St John's Church, away from the bustle of the town centre but only a short walk from the main shops and seafront attractions. Both modern and cosy, it has comfy leather chairs and a few tables outside. David Bowie fans will love all the posters, photos and memorabilia displayed around this café. His music was playing softly in the background while I was there. The whole place was spotlessly clean, with tables cleared and sanitised as soon as they were vacated. Owner and staff were both friendly and efficient. The menu offers a good choice that includes breakfasts, toasties, sandwiches, homemade soup, jacket potatoes and simple cooked meals. Ordered the chicken goujons with chips, salad, coleslaw and a sweet chilli dip. The meal was well cooked and nicely presented, chips were piping hot, salad was crisp and fresh. Big pot of good strong tea, enough for three cups. Reasonably priced too. There were also some homemade preserves for sale on the counter. Would definitely recommend this café for a good affordable lunch whenever you're in Blackpool.

We visited last weekend and the food was lovely. I had Classic Pancakes, my daughter had a kids burger and chips which were huge for a kids portion and my other daughter had the seaside milkshake (bubblegum flavoured with candy floss, Blackpool rock and toasted marshmallows). We had other items too and our bill wasn't expensive. The cafe is very reasonably priced compared to the more central cafes. Definitely worth the short walk up from the main shopping area. Would have been a 5 star review if it weren't for the staff sniggering behind the counter when I was taking these pictures so -1 for staff rudeness. It wasn't busy so I could hear what they were saying.

Just out the way of the hustle and bustle of the rest of Blackpool and set on a very nice square. The service was friendly and efficient. I had a coffee as usual which tasted great, and I also had a chicken toastie which came with a bit of salad and a few crisp it was all fresh and tasted good. Will definitely return!

When you find yourself in Blackpool, a visit to Lily’s Traditional Fish & Chips is an absolute must for anyone craving the quintessential seaside meal. This charming eatery offers not only classic fish and chips but also homemade pies and all-day breakfasts, all served in a modern yet relaxed dining space. Diners rave about the freshness of the fish, with large portions that are both generous and satisfying.
Myself and a friend had both eaten here around a year ago when we along with our friends had excellent meals. Today's meals were exceptionally good and I have no hesitation in recommending Lily's for your Blackpool chip shop experience. The combined capabilities of the staff made this a great experience for both of us dining! Hope to revisit this weekend before leaving Blackpool!

Nicest fish I have ever had. The batter on the fish and chips was perfect! Thin and crispy with super flaky delicious cod. Tasted like it had been caught that day. The chips were chunky and fluffy. The restaurant was busy even though we were there in the afternoon but we were eating in and the food was brought to our table within five minutes. The staff were super friendly and had a great laugh. All the tables were clean and well presented and the toilets were clean too.

Was looking for a gluten free chippy for my daughter while visiting, this one came up voted best. Definitely wasn't disappointed, chips were lovely and my daughter was super impressed with the gluten free fish. They keep everything containing gluten separate and wear gloves also. Everything is super clean, celiac friendly. Along side that we did try the gluten containing fish which was amazing too. Defiantly will return if I'm back in Blackpool

😋 Best fish and chips in Blackpool😋 Super fresh and crispy battered fish, great value for money the fish they serve is huge. Our food came piping hot just how you’d expect it and only had to wait 10 mins. Had to wait in a bit of queue as it was peak times but that’s what you expect from such a popular fish and chip shop! Big thumbs up, recommend to have a stroll along the beach and grab some food to watch the sunset 🌅
Danni A — Google review
When you think of Blackpool, one thing immediately comes to mind—classic British fish and chips by the sea. That was exactly what I was craving during my visit, and nothing else would do. So, naturally, I asked the locals where to find the best fish and chips in town. Without hesitation, they pointed me to Lily’s Fish and Chips—and I’m so glad they did. From the very first bite, I knew I was in for something special. The cod was beautifully cooked—crispy on the outside, tender and flaky on the inside. It practically melted in my mouth. The chips? Fresh, piping hot, and golden. So hot, in fact, I had to wait a moment before diving in (though the anticipation made it even better). And let’s talk about the curry sauce and mushy peas—truly the best I’ve ever had. Fresh, flavourful, and clearly made with care. Every element of the meal hit the spot, completely satisfying the craving I had been looking forward to the entire drive up to Blackpool. Was it worth the three-hour journey? Without a doubt. If you’re ever in Blackpool, do yourself a favour and head to Lily’s. It’s more than just a meal—it’s the proper seaside fish and chips experience done to perfection. Highly recommended. Let me know what you think when you go—because you absolutely should.

The place was packed but my food was out in minutes. Fish was chunky and flaky and the batter was crispy, chips were cooked lovely, peas were spot on, daughter had a jumbo sausage, said it was great ☺️ The only improvement would be if they did Irish curry and cans of coke instead of Pepsi 🤣 But that’s just my personal preference. This place is 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ all day long for me ☺️
Collette H — Google review
Loved the salt pepper squid! The large fish and chips is a massive portion, easily big enough for two adults to share. The fish cake, however, was just average.
Shereen — Google review
Generous fish portion, little tight on the chips for a large. Decent flavour, but for me the batter was a touch too greasy, it sat a little heavy. Tea would have been better in a pot with extra hot water. Hard to say whether or not it is just me or the oil they use, but my wind the following day smelt exactly like the oil in the chip shop. Nice place and staff.

The cafe offers a wide variety of delicious cakes and pastries, as well as a menu featuring various meals at affordable prices. The atmosphere is friendly and the service is fast-paced to accommodate the high demand from customers. Despite being on the pricier side, visitors enjoy the clean environment and tasty food, including breakfast items served even in the afternoon.
Friendly polite staff. The place was nice and warm on a chilly day with a pleasant ambience for a street cafe, clean and tidy with comfy seating. We had a fish finger sandwich (on fresh bread) with perfect chips a pot of tea and a cappuccino coffee. We were passing on foot and saw a sign outside stating it was available so we popped in after shopping nearby - as my friend likes fish finger sandwiches! I am glad we went there. We left not feeling hungry as it was a good portion. Value for money - reasonable. Yes, I would go again and recommend. The food was prepared fresh so took a little time to arrive which I don't have a problem with - it was hot when it arrived with a friendly smile and usual condiments. We were thanked for our custom when we left so they were attentive to their customers. It was very tasty and I would recommend.

When we visit Blackpool we tend to lunch in Cookies. Lovely clean cafe with good food and service. We were able to order a full breakfast even though it was after 1pm because they weren't too busy (due to it being a very a cold January afternoon) Everything cooked spot on (should have baked beans on it too but neither of us wanted them). They do a good coffee too but we had tea this time. A little on the pricey side but very enjoyable. They do a children's menu also. Wheelchairs can get inside the cafe but the toilets are up a big flight of stairs. We'll be back for sure.

Absolutely fantastic experience. The staff was so polite and helpful, the shop was small but cosy and I loved the decoration. The option for food is amazing especially the afternoon tea and you get so much with it for the price. I'm sick of cafes which just do bacon or egg sandwiches so it was a nice refreshing change and a lot better taste and quality than the afternoon tea in winter gardens which was just more expensive, boring and tasteless. We was so full but didn't want to waste anything and was able to bring it home for later. Looking forwards to my massive cake and a brew before bed 🙌🙌🙌🙌 I will definitely be a returning customer 🤤

WOODHEAD'S CAFÉ is a long-standing favorite in Blackpool, known for its fantastic fish and chips. The steak pie is a must-try, with a generous serving of tender beef and delicious flavors. The staff are friendly and professional, adding to the overall enjoyable dining experience. The food quality has remained consistently high over the years, making it stand out as one of the best chip shops in the area.
A little on the pricey side considering you’re not spoilt for choice in Blackpool but in the end you get what you pay for, chips were crisp and dry, fluffy in the middle and the fish was superb. Lovely light crispy batter and flakey white meat. Staff were lovely and the place is clean and smart. What more can you ask for?

Very busy in the shop I was told there would be around a 15 min wait ,,,, I think for how busy it was with ques outside this was a good time , (arrived around 20 min ) friendly professional staff with a sense of humour , we spent around £40 for 4 of us (1 child's meal) drinks and extras too, I was shocked how nice the food was , as I've worked with this job I watched the staff prep/cook the food and they seem to have high standards the way they work 👏 good quality fish especially, I actually can't fault anything other than the toilet was out of use , thank you guys it was delicious!

Really disappointed! Woodheads used to be the best chippy by far even driving from the North of Blackpool down to the south to stop at the chippy before heading home. After visiting at the weekend we won't be returning. Soggy, greasy chips, tasteless, cold mushy peas and the fish was fried in dirty batter was full of grease and the fish its self nothing to write home about. I didn't even eat mine what you see in the picture is what I left. No one came to check if the food was okay after bringing it over, If they had I've had said something to them. Weve had such good experiences here pre covid it's such a shame to see this quality being delivered. My gran used to bring us here over 10 years ago and its always been our chippy of choice when visiting Blackpool. Just to note it wasn't busy there was literally our table another table of about 6 to 8 people and a couple in. The kids hotdog meal is literally a chippy sausage in a bun... no hotdogs in sight. No fish nuggets as ordered.. typo on menu.. delivered chicken nuggets and when you're autistic that doesn't cut it when you're expecting fish! Only good thing was the cuppa. Decent brew but failing massively on the fish front. Won't be coming back and will be heading back to Lily's at Central for a decent fish and chips.

During a delightful morning stroll, I stumbled upon Jimmy's Cafe, a charming little spot that quickly became my go-to for breakfast. With reasonable prices and quality ingredients cooked to order, it’s no wonder this cafe has become popular among locals and visitors alike. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making you feel right at home as soon as you step inside.
Found this little gem while out for a walk and so glad I did, just 15 seconds off the prom This little cafe has the best breakfast in Blackpool 💯, went 3 out the 4 days I was there was greeted by the owner each time lovely chatty lady…. But she’s a little forgetful 😂 hopefully she does really well and is still there next year when I go 5* Scottish breakfast I chose no tomato’s but are included as it a potato scone

Amazing little spot, great quality food and service, welcoming atmosphere making you feel right at home. Order a large breakfast and got to say the blackpudding for me was a stand out item lovely and fresh and full of flavour, the rest of the breakfast was also great and hot aswell which is a rarity in most places. A latte and orange juice to wash it all down and everything was grand. A must visit if your wanting an English breakfast will visit again.

Popped here for breakfast with my 9yr old a couple of days ago… All I can say is WOW. The food was incredible. I had the Scottish breakfast and my son had a cheese toastie. The toastie was super cheesy and done perfectly! And the Scottish breakfast was to die for, proper tinned tomatoes too! The lady who owns it is super chatty and friendly too. This place is a gem of a cafe! 100% recommend ♥️

A breakfast cafe done the write way, we eat here all the time, fast and efficient service, wonderful staff always smiling. #Reasonably priced. good quality produce freshly cooked to order. These guys are now working with all of the local hoteliers in the area that do not serve breakfast in the premises, so if you’re staying in a local hotel and they aren’t serving breakfast, this is the place to come. 10/10. We are hoping to be putting in a voucher system in the up and coming weeks. See you guys soon, Great business.

Had a Scottish Breakfast and was very good. Only thing that was wrong was the potato scone was hard as nails. Why? I don’t know but there we are. Two ladies and a lad served me, no issues…. Only thing that annoyed me was the payment. I was told they take card payments, only to be given the ‘eye’ and pointed towards the ‘cash only’ sign as I was paying. I don’t carry cash, I know why people want cash but that’s why I ask. Put the surcharge on my bill for all I care, I’m not local so don’t know any different on what you take as payment.

We were staying to celebrate our daughter's birthday and came accross this cafe to have brunch. Very friendly, cute and reasonably priced and had the best cuppa. They went to the extra effort to give a birthday candle and extra special pancakes. Thank you for .aling our brunch so special.

We were searching for a place to have breakfast. It was Sunday around 8 am. They just opened and we have been served. I love this place - it has a character and climate. Sea themed. The owner looked like an experienced sailor which gave even more character to the place. We ordered ham and cheese toasts and the coffee. The food was fresh and delicious, however, I personally prefer stronger coffee. Saying that I can confidently recommend it. Thanks for having us in.

Great tasting good, brilliant quality. I’ve not had anything I disliked yet, I had the chicken burger today and thoroughly enjoyed it. Double cheeseburger comes highly recommended too! Excellent little cafe. The owners are very pleasant and helpful. We love the atmosphere there as while you're eating you're hearing the bingo or the arcade games in the background which is great. The prices of the food are very reasonable. We ate the chips and double cheeseburger and the trifle.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience today when we brought our two young kids in for lunch. Our server was so friendly and double checked every question we had about the vegetarian/vegan options. She even helped our son with his gravy boat. There was a colouring book and coloured pencils to keep our 2 year old entertained while she waited for her lunch. The vegan options were plentiful and they even had two vegan cakes to choose from for dessert. Everyone working was very kind and friendly, we will definitely be back next time we are in Blackpool.

Excellent place. The staff are an absolute credit to this cafe. I've never known staff so thorough. Always greet straight away, they always treat you as though they genuinely want your business which can't be said for everywhere. Always ask if you have any allergies or dietary requirements. And the banter they have with regulars is really heartwarming. The food and drinks are excellent but the service is the cherry on top. Well done to all staff.

Friendly, helpful and very clean café, just what we were looking for , my son is vegetarian. He ordered the vegetarian breakfast which was the best vegetarian cooked breakfast he'd ever eaten, along with the usual fried breakfast items, this also came with veggie bacon and black pudding! I had a small English breakfast which was delicious and well prepared, the ingredients are high quality, tasty and hot, the menu also caters for Scottish style breakfasts with Lorne sausage, vegan and gluten free dietary requirements are also available. Large selection of mouthwatering cakes, homemade scones and pies , including gluten-free and vegan. Spacious cafe inside, lots of seating available, with an accessibility toilet with baby changing , perfect thank you , we will be back , highly recommend 5* thank you for making our last meal Blackpool an extremely satisfying and happy one 🙏🏼❤️😋

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, with a relaxed vibe that made it easy to settle in and enjoy our time. The food was outstanding — full of flavour, beautifully presented, and very reasonably priced for the quality and portion sizes. What really stood out, though, was the service. The staff were not only friendly and approachable but also incredibly attentive, always aware of each table without ever being intrusive. It felt like they genuinely cared about making sure every guest had the best experience possible. All in all, it was a thoroughly enjoyable visit, and we’ll definitely be making a point of coming back the next time we’re in Blackpool.

I’m not a massive fan of modern coffee shops but we called in today and had toasties and a variety of drinks and everyone was happy with what they had. Americano,s iced drinks etc so I guess it’s a 5**** rating. Seating was comfy, place was lovely and clean, staff were very nice and friendly. Parking spaces too.

worst coffee shop ever, 4 staff but very slow and could not be bothered .90% of tables not being used but covered in dirty plates and trays, the whole place is dirty and not Costa usually standard.one of the group had a tea and each cup given to them was dirty or chipped, would never return again. The store is a let down to Costa as never have had a issue with one before.

My husband and I came in on Monday night (I think it was Monday) about 10 minutes before closing. George and benji were working and I have to say what an absolute pleasure and a joy it was to be served by them! We know how hard working with customers all day can be and that close to home time too! But both staff made us feel welcome! I mentioned that I loved how much energy they had and how bubbly they were even after a long day at work! I wish we saw this kind of service more often! We will absolutely be back in for another coffee! Hope to see George and benji again soon! The Lowery Cafe offers a top-notch breakfast selection that is hailed as the best in the area. Their English breakfast, accompanied by extra hash browns, is highly recommended. To ensure a table, it's wise to arrive a few minutes before their 9:30 am opening time and place your order at the counter. The staff at this establishment are known for being friendly and accommodating, making your dining experience even more enjoyable.
Busy cafe in a good location. Food was good - I had steak pie, chips, peas and gravy. There was so much I couldn't eat it all. My husband had the gammon and apple sauce burger. Both dishes were tasty. Very reasonable prices. Staff were very friendly. The place was packed which speaks volumes about the food and service. It is dog friendly and fortunately all the owners made sure their dogs behaved. We would go again.

Popped in Saturday 6th September, after searching cafes on Google we decided to visit here while on a trip to Blackpool. There wasn't many avaliable tables when we arrived, so it must be a very popular place. We sat down and had a look at the menu deciding what we wanted to eat and my partner went up to order at the till. He made some changes to his breakfast (egg and mushrooms removed) and swapped them for a hashbrown. They were very accommodating to the request. He made them aware of my food allergy (mushrooms). Food came after around 15 minutes, piping hot. I asked the server about my allergen to rule out cross contamination, she wasn't made aware of the allergen by the person that had taken our order. The food was lovely, good portion sizes for the price. The sausages had a lovely taste to them and the eggs were cooked to perfection. Some of the best ones I've ever had. My partner said the bacon was very good too. The atmosphere was a little hit and miss, but not everywhere can suit everyone's vibe. At times it was just very, very quiet with no background noise. So the minute we spoke, or someone else did - people would instantly look. Some of the tables are very close together, enabling the table next to us to bump elbows with me a couple of times and the cutlery holders dirty. But other than that, it was a good visit.

If You're looking for a good coffee definitely try the Spanish Laté, it's lovely!

Had a lovely lunch in here today 10/07/25, picked it as we liked the look of the front and the nice space out in the sunshine. Me and my friend, well we love our toasties, had toasties up & down the Fylde, I have to be honest, one of the best I have had. Had the cheese & onion, loads of filling, and a good quality bread. I know it sounds silly but, it's a toastie good bread is kind of key and so many don't use decent quality bread. Great Salad too. Looked like a really wide range of toasties too, more adventurous than my cheese & onion, so I will go back for sure and try others. Owner is a great guy who cares without doubt and I really enjoyed it as did my friend 10/10 Oh, very, very reasonably priced too.

Been here a couple of times, and every time, the owner has been absolutely stellar with his service, wonderfully accommodating, and has made some of the best coffee I have had since moving to the area. I'm very happy to have a place like this local. Will continue to come and support the business as the love and passion from the owner is very clear. As a big plus, the prices are reasonable and competitive with other coffee shops that put in less effort for worse coffee and food. A truly incredible business that I will continue to visit. TLDR; Great coffee, great food, lovely owner, fairly priced. Will recommend to all.

Went to sit outside with our child in a push chair , there was only one person sitting outside but the owner frantically came outside to say his tight on space and requires us to take our daughter out the push chair and fold down the push chair, usually if a place is busy I understand that but it was empty and sunny outside , and even 5 minutes later it was still empty but decided to leave due to the rudeness of the staff member !! Luckily found a beautiful place down the road so I guess everything happens for a reason!!

Like the last review said - disgusting. A wait of exactly one HOUR for a burger, and sausage, egg and chips. Only the waitress looked professional - the blokes bringing the food out looked like they have just walked in off the street. Coffee was okay to be fair but the food was not worth the loooooooooooong wait at all. Something just have changed in the last month, the latest reviews have a similar theme. Tinpot cafe.

I visited around lunchtime on a Friday. It was very busy. I had the special (English breakfast) it had 2 sausages, 2 bacon, 2 eggs, black pudding, hash brown, massive amounts of mushrooms, beans, tomatoes, two pieces of fried bread, two pieces of toast... A really massive amount of food. The fried bread is the best I've had in a cafe in the Lytham road area and the two fried eggs were perfect . The sausages and bacon are bland but you cannot complain when you find out that all that food is only £5.95! And it's all cooked to order which means everything tastes fresh but also means it took a while to arrive so it isn't a place for someone in a hurry. I drank a cup of coffee while waiting for our food. A drink isn't included in the price but the coffee I had was the best coffee I have had from a cafe in the area. I asked for a strong coffee and it was perfect for me. A huge cup for £2.25.The staff are friendly and welcoming. Would I visit again? Yes but I would have something that doesn't have sausages or bacon.

Wowzers! I came here after a long shopping trip in Blackpool expecting a rushed visit with how busy they were. The young girl with glasses was incredible, I can’t fault any of the staff. With how busy the caffe was and how quickly and fresh and tasty my drink was is just unbelievable. Joseph also cleared my table with a smile and asked if there was anything he could do. Ordered my drink through Josh who was very busy but very helpful & friendly. As for those making the drinks, I don’t see them wash their hands once in the 10 coffees they left ahead of mine. Even saw the store manager itching his nose 3 times then continue to make drinks & touch the top of coffee cups with the same hands. Very off putting. Luckily he didn’t make my drink or I’d have left without it. Personal hygeine for a food and drink service was below standard.

Well i am always going in Costa but thus store needs to train there staff on how to work a little quicker and learn how to make drinks as my cappuccino wasn't that nice plus when I was sat down i seen a few other customers complaining about the taste of they drink and took it back to be made again.... I understand that need to learn on how to make drinks in Costa but still the guy that was doing them really felt like he didn't know what he was doing and was under pressure the other guy I think that was helping him with the job was really helpful.... you heard of the saying about the tortoise and the hare..............

I took my dad and stepmom to Costa on Church St on Blackpool Town centre today. I first noticed a distinct lack of festive atmosphere. There were two small cardboard Xmas trees on the display counter. They seemed a token nod to the time of the year and not exactly special. We got our tables. Needed two as there were only two seaters free. That’s not a problem. Out of the three on the window we chose the two clean ones. (Two outta three ain’t bad) Went to order to be greeted by a man in his 40s with “yes mate” This greeting makes me cringe. Not sure why but working in customer service in retail it’s not a phrase I would use as customers aren’t my “mates” I asked for two large lattes and a sticky toffee festive drink to be told there’s no cream. Bit of a let down for a festive treat so I chose a normal latte. I also picked up a Wiltshire ham and cheese toastie. I waited for my drinks, they were put on a tray and my dad carried them over to the table. I waited by the counter for my toastie. It was then shoved across the counter at me. “Excuse me? Have you a knife and fork please?” The young man on the coffee machine motioned his head toward the till and said “over there” then the checkout man who called me mate threw a knife and fork onto the counter without a word. We sat down and drank our drinks and I ate my toastie which was slightly more cooked than I have seen before. It was very well grilled and therefore quite dry. I already felt a bit disappointed by the experience (service and overcooked toastie) considering the prices. Then…..I went to the toilet…. Oh dear. Wet floor, bogey smeared on mirror, unclean sink, unflushed dirty toilet with 🫣🫣 pubic hair on…. We go to Costa a lot, safe to say I won’t visit this one again anytime soon. The coffee was fab, small chip on cup. Definitely could do a LOT better I have included photos of dirty toilet so beware 😂

The new look of Costa is brilliant. The orange and purple chairs look great and so comfortable. The new look is very updated and it makes the experience of having a coffee here better than before I must say. Really like it now and the new counter is more open so you can see what goes on behind slot more. The chairs like I said are much more comfortable than before love it. Well done Costa this time you have excelled yourselves. A must to visit for a coffee, and as a consumer journalist, I highly recommend this establishment. Great atmosphere, friendly staff who go beyond customer service and now a great new look. Well done!!!!! Go visit people.

Costa is always a safe bet anywhere you go really! Coffees are always good along with there trademark desserts and they always try and keep there prices very similar up and down the country. This location seemed to be very busy as you can imagine right in the heart of the town centre so on both occasions we visited we found it very difficult to find seating. but as I always say If in doubt anywhere you are always pop into a Costa Coffee.

I had a fantastic experience at this Costa that is open as late as 7pm unlike most of them, where the till has no glass screen thankfully! The options are presented clearly there and the lights plus designs on frames make for a lovely atmosphere inside; I sat comfortably for a delicious frappe.
