Stopped for a coffee and snack at this place on the way to Quadra Island Ferry. 10/10! The coffee was great and the home baking was delicious. The service was friendly and the woman serving us was personable and funny. And the views! The views to sip your coffee to in the nice seating area are amazing.

Great unique little Cafe on the water in Campbell River BC. Staff is super welcoming and nice. The have an outdoor sitting area where with a fire pit where you can enjoy your cup of joe in front of an outstanding view of the ocean. Coffee is great also, never had any food. Worth the stop if your thirty thought for sure.
Ken S — Google review
Come here for the uniqueness of the shop. There's a nice outdoor area where you can sit down and enjoy your drink with a great view. Ordered a flat white and it wasn't exactly up to the standard compared with a lot of the flat whites I've had in other coffee shops. They use dark roast so there's a larger margin of errors. The drink tastes fine, although I don't think milk was steamed properly.
V Y — Google review
Love this place! We have to stop every time we travel to Campbell River. It’s such a cozy and friendly spot with an unparalleled ocean-side vibe. Today I tried their spiced Chai and I haven’t had one this good for a long time!
Nicola S — Google review
Fabulous place for a coffee stop, especially if the weather is good because the outdoor vibe and view are both perfect.

Great little coffee shack. Could smell the fresh roasted coffee as we drove up. Very friendly staff. Recommended.

Kung Fu Cafe (Nesbitt Coffee) is a dog-friendly cafe located in Campbell River, BC. The menu offers a variety of items such as cappuccinos, chai lattes, breakfast sandwiches and more. Visitors can enjoy their snacks with their furry friends at the outdoor tables. The cafe surprises guests with its inviting atmosphere and delicious food, making it a go-to spot for many.
Omg, if I lived in Campbell River, I would be a regular here. Fresh, quality espresso coffee, but the bagles are amazing, they are light and fluffy, like a Montreal bagel. Was one of the best salmon lox bagel sandwiches I have had, complete with capers. You definitely need to try the cheesecake too, it's the lightest, fluffiest one I have ever tasted, Basque style. A whole cheesecake is $50, but a slice is under $10 I think, worth trying for sure.
K F — Google review
I once left a negative review, which I deleted after speaking with the owner. I didn’t want to dwell on it—but some things are still worth expressing. The milk tea, bagels, and Korean food here are actually quite good. Flavors are consistent, the place is clean, and it’s clear the owner cares about food quality. If you're here just for the food, this place delivers. That said, I believe how people treat others matters just as much as what they serve. Everything happens for a reason. Instead of always asking why they did this to you, take a moment to reflect on what you may have done first. Before placing blame, search for your own footprints in the story. We all have to take responsibility for our words and actions. The way we treat others eventually reflects back on us.When problems arose, I thought of all the good you once showed me — sadly, you didn’t do the same. This is a final goodbye for me.
Alice — Google review
Delicious. I was seriously impressed with this place. The breakfast sandwiches can be a bit drippy if you don’t get it on the brioche, but the bagels taste so delicious that it’s worth the trade off. I’ve also tried the BBQ pork belly and omg - SO good! Coffee and cheesecake also are the best I’ve tried in CR by far.
Veronika S — Google review
Wow! Delicious cheesecake! I had the Taro cheesecake and it was delicious! Best I've had in a long time. Mango latte bubble on ice is pretty good too!
Michelle D — Google review
Showed up not expecting too much, just passing through town in the morning and grabbed a bite next door to the mechanic shop. THATS WHEN IT HAPPENED FLAVOUR ORGASMS The food was way better then I could've imagined. Fresh bagels. Insanely well done brekky sandwiches with them. I had the Korean on a sesame bagel and nearly climaxes twice while enjoying it. If you haven't been this will be your new go to spot. Treat yourself. Also the coffee is bitchin! Even the drip!
Harrison H — Google review
The owner is very kind, very helpful! He personally helped me with something when I walked in. Also, the food + bubble tea has always been a 10/10 for me! You get so much and good quality. Come here for a round of chess with coffee, or stuff your face with a crazy good bagel. Either way, easy to spend some time here and I have been a big fan since I moved here.
Annika S — Google review
This place is amazing! We go here at least once a week. They have the best Vietnamese coffees I’ve ever had! Cheesecake is fantastic! Food is delicious breakfast/dinner. Really great service as well! I highly recommend them!
Jennifer V — Google review
Wow! I had the everything bagel with cream cheese and lox and it was amazing. I also bought a passion fruit cheesecake for my mom and snuck a bit and it was one of the best cheesecakes I’ve had. It was so good. I also tried an Oolong bubble tea latte and it was also really good. The man serving us might have been the owner? Not sure but he was very friendly and I was really impressed. People should definitely come check it out!!!

Another Wow 🤩 what a hot Quadra island is! From the moment we stepped in the door of this lovely cafe we were welcomed as old friends. The service was so good, had great coffee too, but the star was most definitely the pancakes. Great sized portion really light and fluffy. Delicious. We also were discussing buying the bags of cookies when another customer overheard us and asked if we would like to try one of hers that she had just bought. How lovely. Well they were delicious and as you can see from the photo we bought them. A brilliant experience and highly recommended.

A great coffee shop near the Campbell River ferry! The Yellow Rose food truck is here too (BBQ tacos)! The outdoor seating is very nice too!
John C — Google review
Spent 2 morning on Quadra and came here for coffee and food both days. My girlfriend and I absolutely loved it here. Staff were amazing, along with the food and coffee was top tier. I had the breakfast wrap one morning and it was incredible. We tried 5 desserts combined and my favorite was the pumpkin pie square loaded up with whip cream. The giant fruit muffins are also insane. Can't wait to go back

This marks the place where I had the best BLT of my life. The bacon was thick and cooked perfectly, the lettuce tasted like it was just picked out of the garden, real butter, mayo - I have been thinking about this sandwich every day since the day I had this one. PS I chose the white sourdough.
Tanya B — Google review
The food selections were absolutely fantastic; everything we ordered was cooked to perfection and full of flavor. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating such a warm and inviting atmosphere. One of the highlights for us was the beautiful outdoor area, which is also dog-friendly! Highly recommend this spot for a delicious meal and a relaxing experience.
Breanna H — Google review
Disappointed in the lack of service and rude, cold, response after 10 minutes of waiting, not even a hello be right with you. 3 staff on in the back chattering away. 1 other customer that was already served. I love quadra island and I love the warm welcome I usually get, which saddens me to write a low review in my favorite town. I hope they do better.

Nestled in the picturesque Campbell River, The Java Shack serves as a beloved local hub reminiscent of Central Perk from Friends. This charming café offers not only strong coffee but also stunning waterfront views that enhance your dining experience. Their menu features delightful dishes like the perfectly cooked Eggs Pollenny, with caramelized polenta and fresh fruit, alongside crispy potato and sweet potato hash browns.
Came for lunch after several recommendations. I had the roast beef sandwich which for me was perfection. SL had a burger and said it was one of the best she has had. Lovely crispy bits! We will be back for sure!
Andrea J — Google review
I love this spot! Definitely swing by here if you travel! It's so cozy! No music, but the esthetic is so nice! Plus view of the water. The menu has great and reasonable prices, and good selection! The menus also have some delightful chalk art on them. If I wasn't budgeting, I would try everything!
Nathan T — Google review
This place is rad. It's locally owned and operated, and in my opinion, the quality of the food they serve is some of the best on Vancouver Island. The owner still works in the kitchen pretty much every single day, and made my lunch himself today. The burger was fresh, delicious, perfectly seasoned, cooked just right, and beautifully presented! Among the best I've ever had. Thank you. Highly recommend. Their mochas are also delicious.
Immanuel M — Google review
I’ve had their sandwiches many times and usually really good. Today was a huge let down. Sandwich was incredibly dry there was maybe 6 sprouts in the sandwich, one piece of lettuce and a very thin slice of tomato. There was a ring of yellow pepper on each half though. Just really not a pleasant eat today
Janette H — Google review
Java Shack is one of my favorite restaurants- anywhere - any time! The food is very thoughtfully created and presented. I feel like the chef really thinks about presentation and ingredients. The eggs polenty for breakfast is a work of art and so delicious. It sells out quickly so we call at 8 am and pre-order. Java Shack is NOT a fast food restaurant- we always call, preorder and it is ready when we arrive -20 minutes later. Yes - this a drag but sooo worth it. The line at breakfast is long. There is a salad/bowl called the Mc?? With brown rice, dried apricots, avocado and a miso dressing - so good! Again pre- order. Restaurant is open Monday - Friday - so breakfast and lunch - I think it closes at 4 pm. Closed on the weekends. I try and plan my stop over in Campbell River accordingly! Java Shack is one of those restaurants that takes food seriously!
Celeste M — Google review
Great sandwiches and drinks. They take their time making things right & tasty.

Stumbled onto this cozy gem and was delighted first by the coffee, then the food. We bought lunch, sandwich & a burger. The quality was great for a casual cafe in a shopping Plaza. Everything was delicious, service was friendly, & they make very good macchiatos.

Visitors rave about the excellent service provided by the friendly staff, who go above and beyond to ensure an enjoyable visit for guests of all ages.
Visiting the island and popped in here for a bite to eat.. highly recommend if you’re in the area to check it out. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful, you can taste the love in the food. I don’t know what they do with their pancakes but I’d eat them every day if I could. Portions are very generous and pricing is more than reasonable. You can tell they have a large group of regulars as it seems the staff know everyone by name.

The friendliest team and huge portions, you get value for money here. The breakfasts were delicious, and they even gave us a cookie to take away for our drive.
Fay W — Google review
Highly recommend the eggs benny. They even make the English muffins from scratch. Big generous portions. Will definitely be back.
Kali V — Google review
Quite disappointed with our experience as the cafe was highly rated. We ordered pancakes and eggs Benedict and the quality was poorly executed. Our bill was around $47 this included a kids chocolate milk and hot chocolate. Definitely not worth the price.
Justine L — Google review
If you want home comfort food, feel warm and welcome, and feel stuffed after eating a delicious breakfast... go to Beachwood Corner Café! Such delicious food, awesome service, perfect place for breakfast!
Ted M — Google review
Oh my gosh just eat here! I love the Beachwood Corner Cafe. Large portions for the price you pay and home made feels!! Our food came out really hot, fresh from the stove, amazing. I am a poached egg lover and I make them at home all the time, I must add my egg was perfect. People next to me were raving while we were eating and we were too! Best spot in Campbell River to eat and I always bring my friends & family here!!
Maggie C — Google review
This is such a cute place. The staff were incredibly friendly and the food was amazing. Their portions are so large I couldn’t eat it all and felt like I was wasting a lot of food. If I ever get the chance, I would 100% stop here again.
Rebecca B — Google review
You want food poisoning come here. Nothing is rotated. All the food is held at room temperature. Nothing is properly cooled because there is no ice. All the fridges at summer where above food safe temperatures. The over head fan is not operating correctly causing the fan above the stove to crack. You have to get the SQ footage to make sure it's at the right intervals probably 40. All the AC units broke the temperature was too hot. Chemicals held in ice cream buckets. I don't know how the fire suppression system passed as I thought there was one needed above the oven or even a fire extinguisher. I am surprised the food health and safety hasn't visited them.

They are efficient, quick, and always cheerful, brightening up customers' mornings. Their dedication deserves recognition in the form of a raise. The overall experience at Tim Hortons is characterized by friendly staff, great coffee, and delicious breakfast options.
We placed a large family order, and MASON assisted us with it. He was excellent—attentive, patient, and understood everything we requested. Our order, totaling around $50–$60, was taken with great care, and he noted all the details accurately. His team also did a fantastic job preparing everything. Overall, MASON provided outstanding service and truly stood out.

With its inviting West Coast ambiance, this charming café offers an array of delicious options, from freshly made paninis to delightful baked goods sourced from the local Daves Bakery—don’t miss out on their popular muffins!
Stopped here from Nanaimo on the way to our daughter’s hockey game. We just wanted a snack and this was an excellent choice. The muffins were excellent and the cinnamon bun was delicious. The coffees we ordered were very good. We bought veggie sandwich to eat later because it looked so good. The place was packed. Quick service and a great atmosphere. The food was all homemade and looked very good. Glad we stoped here instead of the regular chain coffee place. Will definitely stop here anytime we are in the area. The prices are a tad high, but I understand with the price of groceries lately, and it was worth every penny. Lots of vegetarian options. Thank you.

I got a vanilla latte here and I was so pleasantly surprised! When travelling it’s hard to get a good coffee, the barista was very keen to make sure I wasn’t given too much vanilla as I asked initially for half a pump and when I realized that it was actually a full pump I wanted she was so kind to check in each time she added a bit more! The vibe was quiet, calm and relaxing! I’d be visiting daily if I lived in town!
Brooke M — Google review
I just want to say that this is one of the best coffee shops in town, with the friendliest staff members. I would highly recommend their coffees and will definitely be bringing my friends when they come to visit.
Clarissa R — Google review
I've been here twice now while visiting for business from out of town and this place is more than just decent. On my first visit, I had just a regular coffee and it was great. It had all of the qualities of a coffee place that knows how to properly clean their equipment and uses fresh beans and filtered water. On my second visit, I decided to try the hot apple cider and I was blown away. It is more than just delicious. It's perfect! I definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a soothing hot drink.
Darryl G — Google review
Canadiano tasted off from sugar syrup added maybe like mocha? No obvious place to wait for your coffee. Didn't see a table with sugar, cream, etc to add to your drink.
Amy D — Google review
This is 1 of 2 locations in Campbell River. The coffee & cheese scone I ordered were both delicious. The interior is spacious, very clean & welcoming! Perfectly decorated for the Christmas season. Warm & inviting without being overwhelming or cluttered. Robyn & her coffee crew were lovely & the service was quick & friendly. This is now my go-to coffee place when visiting Campbell River!
Tammy L — Google review
Pretty sure they watered down my cold brew today because I heard them say they were out and then handed me some mud colored coffee water. That was not the first time I've been highly disappointed by this place. Decided to give them another shot and immediately regretted it.
Laura L — Google review
We were starved by the time we reached Campbell River. We navigated away from the 19A to the Island Grind because FoggDukkers Coffee was closed that day. The food looked house made. We purchased sandwiches, oat cappuccino, oat latte, and a carrot salad. Although the spicy salmon sandwich looked great, and Campbell River being the place for salmon, it was so spicy we couldn't finish it (!) The carrot salad left me with an uncomfortable feeling for the rest of the day, probably because of either garlic or green onion in the dressing. The coffee drinks were great though, perfect microfoam.

I used to frequent this coffee shop but recently the service has declined. They are frequently out of stock and are often unable to make the drinks offerred on their menu. They arent too serious about their coffee here. Doubt I will be going back. If you're looking for an alternative, try foggduckers, or pair-a-dice (yes they have a coffee shop in the hobby store and its really good). Seriously try fogdukkers or pair-a-dice.

Really nice inside! Beautiful artwork for sale on walls. Nice big menu lots of options! The workers seemed nice. A decent amount of seating. My partner and ai were just grabbing a drink to go and going to go for a walk somewhere. He is lactose and I am vegan so neither of us can have dairy. We both said our own drinks and both of us asked for oat milk. He said okay. The drinks were too hot to drink right away and we left. Once we tried them though, they were defintely both made with dairy so had to throw out sadly... Besides that the taste wasn't very strong for a chai and the Tumeric roobois latte was lacking flavour too we mostly just tasted lightly flavoured warm milk. Nice inside but meh experience.

This is a trendy / comfortable place to drop in for a coffee. I really like theory London fog and they have some baked good that are out of this world. Cannot go wrong with their Oat Fudge Bar soooo gooood. You can't go wrong stopping in here for a coffee / drink and a small bite to eat.

Coffee shop
Nestled in the heart of Campbell River, Stonehouse Teas is a delightful haven for tea enthusiasts and casual sippers alike. Established in 2005, this charming shop has quickly become a beloved destination for both locals and visitors. With an impressive selection of over 120 varieties of loose leaf teas, as well as locally roasted coffee and fresh pastries, there's something to satisfy every palate.
While I grew up in Campbell River and visited Stonehouse Teas frequently, I now live in Ontario and miss their bubble tea. Every time I visit home, Stonehouse is on the list of to-dos and today, on day two of being here, we went and checked out all the new upgrades to the store. Previously, they did not have as many bakery items as they do now and everything looking so good. The scent walking in is nostalgic and I was so excited to try a treat alongside my bubble tea. Ya’ll- I am not exaggerating when I say their carrot cake is phenomenal. It is moist and full of flavour and the icing is incredible. It’s not so terribly sweet that you can’t enjoy it and it is also the perfect texture. I took a bite and immediately knew I needed to write a review. I ate some more and got a couple other shots because it’s just that good I had to share! I also enjoyed a vanilla chai bubble tea with tapioca and it was as good as I remember! But man- this cake though? An absolute must-try. I’m also going to try the pumpkin loaf next visit and I just know it’s going to be delicious as I was considering getting that today but I decided to go for the carrot cake and wow. Just overall a 10/10 and a must try overall when visiting Campbell River!

Had the best cup of “French Press” coffee ☕️ yet! And thought perhaps a muffin too , well that was the BEST part, no butter needed, and brought right to the table with a Big Smile 😃 THANK YOU Stonehouse for Being Extra Special ☺️

I love this place. The carrot cake is AMAZING (both gluten and gluten free). They have a wonderful selection of other baked goods too and teas/other drinks..of course. The new renos give it a cozy feel and I enjoy browsing through all the different teas, mugs and tea pots. A must visit place when going to Campbell River.

I have all the finest cafes of Victoria at my fingertips and I'd give them all to be able to come here. Friendly staff, great shop, and even better prices. Really going above and beyond here! A gem of downtown Campbell River. Try the Taro!

Absolute best tea I've ever had! I'm still going through my tea that I bought last year, and I drink A LOT of tea. You don't need a lot to make the drink flavourful, so a little goes a long way. I only buy my loose leaf tea here :) David's tea who?? Stonehouse is the only tea I need 💕

Great place! Awesome service, they have a wall of loose tea and it is not in alphabetical order, so when a lovely staffer asked me if I needed help, I was very grateful. She was quick too. I ate a Blueberry Earl Grey cheesecake, and it was yummy. One thing though is it would be kind and helpful if they put arrows directing customers to the door that is actually the entrance. I almost left thinking they were closed. I didn't realize their store was so large, I tried 2 doors before finding the one that let you in🤭. It was my first time at this store so I didn't know.

Nice place, with the sun ! Little terrace outside and a shop inside. Great bubble tea (pineapple-lychee for me) nice coffee with different possibilities of milk or mix. Here a coco milk mocha. The bakeries are nice too, sweet but also salty if you want.

Really nice speciality teas and coffees. Lovely home baked goods and an array of unique treats. They have a great selection of beverage giftware like tea pots, cups and mugs and travel mugs. It's a cheerful, cozy place to sit and enjoy a treat with excellent service. It's popular!

Starbucks, the iconic coffeehouse chain hailing from Seattle, is a beloved destination for coffee enthusiasts and casual visitors alike. Known for its signature roasts and light snacks, it also offers a cozy atmosphere with WiFi access—perfect for those looking to work or relax. While some may not frequent Starbucks often, each visit can be memorable thanks to their delightful offerings like birthday cake pops that add a sweet touch to your experience.
The girl supervisor who was working on August 3rd around noon should be talked to. It's not very good customer service to tell a customer they need to go across the parking lot to another store in order to get change to come back and pay. Being a supervisor and a manager of a business means you are there to ensure your employees are fully prepped and have all the tools in hand to be successful. As a supervisor/manager it should be their responsibility to ensure their employees have the proper cash in their registers and that your change in your safe is efficient to help in certain situations. Sending a customer out of the store themselves and making them go and do it does not make a great name for that supervisor nor will it attract the right kind of attention. I'm disappointed in the way this situation was handled by this supervisor.

Great, clean place. Reliably good coffee however service can be really slow. They were very good on getting mobile orders completed but were slow moving on in-house orders and almost crawling at the drive-thru. They also forgot one of my items on an order but they were quick to correct. Nice atmosphere and easy to access location.

Terrible. Never had to wait in starbucks for 20 minutes in my life. Staff were extremely slow and had no urgency in making orders. Had over 10 people waiting for there drinks for over 10 minutes.

Worst Caramel Macchiato ever made, staff left me standing for 7 min while they're consumed with online orders. To busy to make quality anything and couldn't even great customers during the scramble to rip off customers. If you want a bland coffee mainly milk come waste your time and money here

Ideal Cafe, located in Campbell River, is a classic greasy spoon that has been serving customers since the early 40s. This long-running establishment has maintained its old-fashioned charm and is popular among locals for its relaxed atmosphere and delicious food. Originally a truck stop, Ideal Cafe offers a variety of classic American and Canadian dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It's the perfect spot to enjoy a hearty meal before embarking on a day full of adventure in Campbell River.
Visited Campbell River and this restaurant caught my eye when we drove by it. We stopped in for lunch and so happy we did. The place was really original and well decorated, the service was fun and friendly, and the food was excellent! Will be back for sure.

We’ve been meaning to try this cafe and now that we have, wish we’d done so sooner! Great diner vibe, and very friendly staff. Lots of menu items to choose from, and particularly impressed with the number of plant based items. The avo and toast with tofu scramble was delicious, and the veg hash with vegan sausage was amazing! Will be back many more times in future :)
Roselyn B — Google review
The cafe was recommended by a friend… from the outside, you may not realize that there is a cafe in between the shops not related to food at all. It is a very retro cafe with decor in the 60’s vibe. Service was good & attentive. For a cafe, they had a huge menu Portions were huge, we enjoyed the meal tremendously. My hubby ordered the fish & chips, the fish was actually rock cod, something that is rarely used for fish & chips. It was very good, fish was fresh & firm, batter was light & crispy. He also had a clam chowder, it was loaded with clams. I ordered the stay afloat on a boat. If you happen to be in Campbell River, I highly recommend you check them out!

I love coming here so much I don't even want to write a review in case it gets busier! (J/k) in my opinion there are not a lot of great breaky spots in town. This one you can feel a little bit of Campbell River charm. It's the spot where the locals go! This old school diner has a big menu and always have famous milkshakes from those old machines! I usually get a regular breakfast or an omlette. Can't go wrong here! See u guys soon, thanks for working so hard! Plenty of parking and out of the downtown core. It is the IDEAL spot!

Daves' Bakery offers a delightful lunch experience with their delectable, made-to-order sandwiches served on heavenly sourdough bread. The generous portions of these sandwiches are perfect for sharing. However, it's worth mentioning that the coffee and espresso served at Daves' Bakery are of the Kirkland brand, which may not be to everyone's liking. Located in a building housing various artisan shops, this bakery provides an outdoor eating area surrounded by a charming garden shop.
This is one of the cutest places we've ever seen. The coffee shop makes you feel that you're going to have a wonderful culinary experience, and it does not disappoint! They have so many items on the menu to satisfy almost every taste. Their pastries are DELICIOUS! And their service is AMAZING! Their breakfast selection of just the Croissants is enough to have you come here every morning. A definite must if you're looking for a change from the ol' Tim Horton, and believe me, it's worth it.

The friendliest person works here. She had no name badge on so I don’t know her name. But she called everyone “friend” and things were “lovely”. And she sounded genuine. She would be the reason I return. And maybe the incredibly fresh bread and tomatoes. We got half sandwiches. I wish I had gotten wholes because the half ones were on the small side.

Shot In The Dark Cafe is a beloved spot in Tucson, but it's unfortunate that the downtown crowd has shifted to new restaurants, leaving this cafe somewhat neglected. However, it remains a top choice for a meal upon arriving in British Columbia. Located by the water in Campbell River, it offers easy parking and great options for vegetarians. The vege sandwich is particularly impressive with its generous portion and fresh bread. Additionally, their almond milk latte is highly recommended.
Awesome spot on the water in Campbell River. Free 2 hour parking across the street. Easy to eat vegetarian here! I had the vege sandwich and it was massive and very fresh bread. Also had an almond milk latte which was lovely. For sure eat here for any meal and coffee over any of the chains!!

So yeah... I came in and the lady and gentleman behind the counter could not have been more hostile and moody. When you’re willing to pay upwards of 17 dollars for a sandwich it’s nice to have it served with a smile. We waited outside and when I came back in the lady didn’t even remember me being literally her last customer. I’ve come here every time I visit cambell River and was seriously disappointed. Of course the sandwich was good... but the service was the weirdest, moodiest and quite simply you shouldn’t be opening your restaurant if you are going to act like that. Also... when someone asks for cream in their coffee don’t just slam two individual creamers on a plate and expect them to be like... thank you. Will never eat here again. It was like eating a spite sandwich with a cup of misery beside it.

My wife and I just had a Denver Sandwich in this Cafe and I can tell you. I have travelled all over the world and I have never had anything that came even close to what they handed us this morning. If you're on the hunt for a delightful culinary experience, look no further than Forbidden Zone PIZZA & Espresso Bar. This charming spot has become a beloved destination for many visitors over the years, especially those who return year after year during their holidays. The standout item here is undoubtedly the pizza; with unique offerings like breakfast pizza and creative flavors such as nacho pizza, there's something to satisfy every palate.
A surprise find. I has an amazing mango smoothy. They also have pizza. I look forward to go back We went back today for a pizza. We had the nacho pizza. So creative and very good. The single slice ones looked amazing. I have to say the young staff there were amazing! It was very busy and they were polite, attentive, and just plain awesome!!

Sadly I'm having to rate low as my pizza was just not up to standard for the high price I paid. My partners was great, service was great, but mine was basically a ton of cheese with some raw tomatoes and peppers on top. Really disappointing as it was my birthday treat! Went back to chat to them with the mostly uneaten pizza and all they could offer was a 15% discount for next time when I definitely won't be back. Really disappointing, and I wouldn't have reviewed if the compensation was better ☹️

Excellent pizza ❤️ The Hawaiian and other flavors we tried were really good, but the vegetarian was amazing 🤤 They offered to cut them in half, that helped with sharing. We went back for seconds. They don't have a dine in option, but it was a sunny day so we threw our picnic blanket out on the grassy area to the right of Forbidden Zone and ate there. Thank you!

Ordered a pizza last night and it was possibly the worst pizza I've ever had. After paying $60 for a pizza, I kind of expect it to taste good. The sauce was absolutely horrible. Like unedible without scraping off the sauce. It tasted like they added a cup of acrid jarred garlic or something and maybe some kind of vinegar based hot sauce? I don't know, hard to nail exactly what was wrong with it. This is my 4th time eating here. 1 time the same pizza was outstanding and I've been chasing that pizza only to get over priced and marginal. Still edible until last night's disaster. If it wasnt late, i would have drove back and made them taste it and asked for a refund. A lesson for restaurants, always taste what you're serving.

We absolutely love this place! We have been coming for a few years when we are here on holidays. We love the pizza and the breakfast pizza is one of a kind. The monster cookies make me a kid all over again. I love the chewiness. This is also the best place to get a coffee. I always miss coming here after my trip. If I could bring this place home with me, I would. Thank you for being a special part of our holidays!

I don’t like leaving bad reviews but 5.85 for a single slice of pepperoni pizza is a rip off. + the cheese was barely melted. And it was not even warm. This is not a diss to the staff, it looked like everyone was working hard. This is a diss to the owners/management fix your prices. Your pizza is not that good, and definitely not worth the insane prices. I have bought pizzas pies from here before and never feel like the price reflects the quality of the pizza. don’t bother even coming here if you unless you want over priced pizza.

This was the best Tim Hortons experience I’ve ever had. We had the new supreme steak sandwich, farmers wraps, bagel belts, timbits and donuts and everything was fresh, tasty and delicious. The service was welcoming and Asia was just so friendly and hospitable. To top it off, it has an incredible view of the ocean.

The two free booths were filthy. The chicken noodle soup didn't even have 1 piece of chicken. The three-meat flatbread had half as much cheese as it should have, and the bacon was burnt to a crisp and the sausage bits were barely warm. One of the two washrooms was without toilet paper. The view is nice though.

I want to highlight the amazing service I received from Asia, a lovely girl who made my experience at Tim Hortons so much more than just grabbing a coffee. From the moment I walked in, she was very kind, and made me feel genuinely welcome. She wasn’t just focused on selling, but on providing a warm and personalized service. She even helped me connect with people from my country, which meant a lot to me. Her service was fast, gentle, and always with a smile. Boycott this restaurant, horrible, horrible food. Running completely off of brand recognition alone. Imagine a coffee and donuts shop that has acidic coffee that gives you an upset stomach and loss of appetite, and cardboard frozen donuts that topping gets stuck on the bag and rips off everytime. Just a horrible place inside and out.

But when i got it ot was pretty much flat , woth nothing in it. The cashier said she would fix it put i could see the cook just repostitioned the meat to make it look slightly bigger while they botg laughed rudely . Nothing was added to the sandwhich. The damr cashier tossed my choccolate covered donut in with my wifes crossant and of course it made a mess.the sandwhich pic is false advertising anf pretending to add more whilr tou talk about your customers is horrible customer service. Its no wonder people are always complaining about this tim hortons on social media. Also they leave people stamding at the front, completly ignoring them while they only help drive through people. But according to evertone on line the drive thriugh sucks at this location too

Came in the past 2 times thru the drive thru for a crispy chicken habanero wrap and both times got a chicken Ceasar wrap..np rice or spice...the 2nd time I even asked to make it extra spicey...it wasn't until I got home and bit into it to realise it was wrong again....I just walked out due to noone greeting me or willing to take my order! I watched one girl duck down by th drive thru window instead of come take my order! Figure it out! It's an easy job especially with 5 people working the window...Tim Hortons willow pt has gone down hill....it's a minor inconvenience but for such a simple job that they applied for and are doing daily it should be done right and with an ounce of pride. And to make it worse; I was the only one standing there waiting.

Came through the drive thru this morning and had to repeat my order 3 times because the cashier kept interrupting, and asking if that was everything. The service at the window was rushed, not a terrible thing to be quick but saying goodmorning and then have a nice day all in the same breath, felt like they were reading a script. Mocha was watery usually a huge fan...

Freyja is a croissant shop located in downtown Campbell River, known for its high-quality handmade Scandinavian-influenced croissants and other pastries. The shop offers a variety of croissants with fillings such as chocolate-based ganaches and seasonal fruits. Emese and Geza Toth-Harasztos, recent Hungarian immigrants, have brought the Freyja brand to Campbell River from Budapest. The cafe has a bright and spacious atmosphere with plenty of green plants.
Freyja is one of my favourite places in town to stop for coffee— I probably end up here at least once a week! The lattes are delicious, and the staff members are always kind and friendly. The croissants are, of course, amazing as well. I really like the pain au chocolate. The raspberry is my favourite, when they have it. Their hot chocolate is also excellent. I’ve tried all three flavours, and you can’t go wrong! There’s also a great little play area for kids at the back, and a nice outdoor seating area out front for when the weather cooperates.
Hayley G — Google review
Stumbled upon this place because another spot was closed. So glad I did. The croissants were incredible. I had a chai latte for the first time and it was amazing. There’s a little play area for children. There are signs on every table to be respectful if you are working and to not keep the table for extended periods of time (if they are busy). Went back the next day because it was just that good.
A R — Google review
The croissants may be considered costly for the majority of customers; however, you can taste their dedication and enthusiasm. The coffee is rich and well balanced, aromatic and smooth. The chai, is flavourful; I have had a really bad chai at same other cafes but Freyja really provides excellent quality. We’d definitely come back for more!

OMG! These are simply the best croissants I have ever had. I know what a croissant is supposed to taste like...I am passionate about them and always seek out bakeries that feature them. So it was today. We were traveling around the area and I searched for "bakery near me" and this place grabbed my attention when the name said "The croissant story". I was not dissappointed. Honestly, I was hoping for a savory croissant as it was breakfast time. They didn't have one that I wanted, but had the most amazing chocolate croissant...my wife selected an almond one. They looked so good...I ordered 2. Crispy, delicate, buttery...and the laminatons! Oh la la. They also impressed with the chocolate inside...just the right semi-sweet and so so smooth. LOVED it. If you want a croissant...stop reading this and set your Nav for Freyja.

We visited this place for a quick breakfast during our vacation in Campbell River. While croissants were displayed very nicely and the atmosphere was modern and cute, we found the price a bit high ($7-9 per croissant). My husband's coffee was rich and tasty but my chai latte was too sweet. Overall, we found the place to be pleasant but not worth visiting again. The staff person was also on her phone a lot behind the counter.

Divine croissants! If you like raspberries, the bow tie shaped croissant filled with raspberry jam (not overly sweet) is amazing. I wish we had more time here to try them all, but we are just visiting.

Food is always delicious and my favorite place for french fries. Menu has so many options and you won't leave hungry. The staff is absolutely wonderful and welcoming. Definitely a returning customer!

Fuel up cafe is a great spot for breakfast and lunch. Plus they have a selection of tea and baked goods …and beer, coffee and Baileys, or Caesars, etc. if you like. The staff are super friendly, and the food is high quality, fresh ingredients. We have started going there regularly and there’s never a lineup! Campbell River’s undiscovered gem.

My spouse and I came here because a friend posted pictures of his breakfast and I thought that has to be good! We took a drive out to check it out and we were not disappointed! Lovely eggs Benny and omlette and the ladies behind the counter are great! We will definitely be going back!

This is in the airport not actual restaurant. There is no kids menu (the Google info is wrong). It was overpriced, my English muffin was soggy, and the spinach was clearly from frozen. Tea was hot water from the coffee machine and not in a pot. Immediately regretted eating here.

OH MY GOSH!!! This was my first time eating at Fuel Up Cafe, I have heard great things and wanted to try them out. Today we I did,,, it was AMAZING. Extremely friendly and helpful staff on the phone. Cooked it really FAST. Food was ready when we arrived. And once I got back to work and sat down to eat,,, WOW!!! It was SO GOOD!!! I will for sure be back and will for sure recommend this place to eat at. Thank you FUEL UP CAFE!!! I had Mushroom Swish Burger, fries and I added bacon and a side of gravy for the fries. Cheers, Red Jacket Rob

Flight was delayed so grabbed a BLT and fries. Both were great but the fries I’ll definitely be back for and the lady that was working so pleasant and stayed late as the flight was delayed to give customers an option to eat

Great service. Came into the terminal just to look around and the food smelled so good, I could not leave without having some bacon and eggs. It was perfection.

Top notch. Burger was great, the bun was super fresh with fresh ingredients. Fries were crispy and gravy was on point. Chicken fingers were real white meat and were crispy. Kid and I both loved the meal and service.
