This is an amazing Indian restaurant. I’ve been to Indian restaurants all over the world and this is definitely in the top five. First class atmosphere and service, decor was decadent with beautiful white tablecloths. Wonderful staff very attendant and cared about my experience. The food was amazing. I loved the caramelised onion on top of the veg rice and probably the bestest Nan I’ve ever had with a caramelised top. Definitely the best thing of Southampton and I will definitely be back. The doorman is also a massive bonus.

I had booked a table for my family, as it was his special birthday and had requested for a surprise cake slice to be brought at the end, but this wasnt done and neither asked for courtesy. The starters we had, mixed kebab was good but the portion was less as compared to other Indian restaurants. We had lamb and chicken thali, 3 different curries, rice, naan and tandoori 2 small pieces, but all the curries were not good as they were the same base, with different meats chucked in. We spoke to the manager to express our disappointment and his response was, I did not cook this food, but the chef did. So offered to get another dish, but he said it will be the same. Totally waste of our time on our special day and rhe special request was not facilitated. Also, they sat us down, in the basement area, which was clostrophobic, loud, noisy, stuffy and sad environment. If you have good taste for fine dining, there are better options.

Had a great night with work colleague friends at the Coriander lounge. Such a lovely atmosphere. The food was some of the best Indian food I’ve had with natural authentic flavours. The service was excellent and all the staff were so polite and friendly. We were offered a complimentary night cap too. I will definitely be back.

Upon arrival, the front-of-house staff member seemed disinterested, offering no greeting or conversation, and simply directing us to our table. The wine list was overpriced, with the cheapest Chablis priced at £140. While I understand corkage and service charges, this particular wine retails for significantly less. The menu's descriptions were promising, but the dishes themselves were underwhelming and lacked flavor. The tempura batter was greasy and more reminiscent of chip shop batter, and the food overall was under-seasoned. The halibut main course was disappointingly small. Overall, my experience at The Jetty was overpriced and underwhelming.

First time visit , although been to the jetty at Christchurch many times. Restaurant well positioned for diners with views towards marina. Service team knowledgeable, thoughtful and attentive. Overall food was good nothing stood out as not good , and there are many good restaurants , what would take to great - finesse of presentation, hitting that second level flavour to take the food to next level . Would I go back - yes !

Large airy modern restaurant and bar area with a nautical theme. Good view over the marina through the 180degree floor to ceiling windows. Staff are lovely, fast and helpful. Menu is posh, modern British with a tight a la carte menu and a fixed price menu. Starters and mains were all good including the warm bread with taramasalata butter which was a real taste sensation.

Great meal with great service from Tom. We started with the oysters and then proceeded to try everything we could. The souffle are phenomenal, the catch of the day, a sea bass, was delicious. The chateaubriand cooked perfectly, but in the UK they don't season it, so if your from the states before to ask for extra extra season or some sea salt from kitchen. One of best restaurants in a hotel we had during our travels and a big thank you to Tom who really took care of us, Would visit again!

Stayed for a long weekend at the Harbour Hotel before heading to Scotland. The service at The Jetty was fantastic. Ross, the manager, made sure every interaction was perfect. Staff was so friendly. Remembered us every night. We came in late for drinks two nights in a row and dinner on the 3rd night. Champagne was cold the prawns were crispy the pea and asparagus risotto was deliciously cheesy. My husband is now a big fan of sticky toffee pudding! They were all very quick to facilitate a couple of requests. Can't speak highly enough of the entire jetty staff. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend! .

Had a lovely dinner at The Jetty. We were quite early as we had somewhere to be that evening but the staff were all friendly and ready to welcome us. Throughout the evening service was attentive, and the food was excellent. We had fish and chips, and it was the sort of fish and chips that reminds you how good it can be, and how poor it often is. The atmosphere was a touch flat, but we were eating at 6pm so that is not a huge surprise, more our fault for eating so early. Would definitely go back when in Southampton

I literally couldn't wait to get my phone back from repair to leave this review. The service was fantastic, we were welcomed and seated even though we were a few minutes and the kitchen was basically closing and felt so bad as we kept them in longer than they should have been there. Everything was incredible! But, I have to say my dessert was THE BEST dessert I had. It was a soufflé and I still have an after taste for it. Honestly amazing food and a fantastic venue/service. Highly recommend and will definitely be going back.

The reception and ambiance of the restaurant was great. The lighting and decor definitely elevated the experience as well as the view from the restaurant. The cocktails we had were perfect as I didn't want something too sweet and the waitress recommended the perfect cocktail to me. Their signatures were unique and I would want to go back for them alone! The food was but no means bad, I'd only give it 4 stars though as it was not mind-blowing with amazing flavours. But I will say that it is Asian fusion really well done. My highlights were the duck pancakes, chicken and egg-fried rice. Tried a little of the Hazelnut dessert and wish I ordered myself one! Definitely one to go back to.

We visited Blue Jasmine around 5 PM as a group of 10, hoping to enjoy what we expected to be a premium dining experience. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a polite and welcoming staff member who assured us she would arrange a table shortly. At this time, the restaurant was clearly empty — as shown in the attached photos. While we waited, another staff member approached us and, without the slightest courtesy, abruptly informed us that unless we had a reservation and had paid a deposit, we would not be served. His tone was rude, dismissive, and frankly obnoxious. The contrast between his attitude and the initial warm welcome was stark and completely unprofessional. It's deeply disappointing to be treated with such disregard, especially in a hospitality setting that claims to offer an upscale experience. Based on this encounter, I have no interest in ever returning, and I would strongly advise others to reconsider if they value being treated with basic respect. Hospitality is more than just food — it starts with how you welcome your guests. Blue Jasmine failed miserably on that front.

Great food but just a shame about the service as we waited an hour and 10 mins for some food. The young waitress was clearly rushed off her feet and forgot the glasses to our water and explained that there had been a delay with our food. When the food finally arrived it was delicious and well priced. I would recommend coming early rather than later as it can get very busy and it seems they prioritise bigger groups.

I had high expectations before I went, but the deliciousness of the food far surpassed those expectations. Everything was incredibly tasty, and had little unexpected touches that far elevated the food above similar places I'd been before. Beautiful presentation and great attention to detail made it a special experience. Friendly and fun staff who went above and beyond to ensure that we had a great time.

My partner and I visited Blue Jasmine this evening and had a truly fantastic experience. The Peking duck was absolutely incredible — highly recommended for anyone dining here. Connor was extremely wonderful and courteous, making us feel so welcome throughout the evening. Our waiter, Hatim, also did a fantastic job with attentive and friendly service. With such amazing food and such a warm, professional team, we’ll definitely be coming back again.

Nice place to enjoy a dinner. Menu is not Italian , an fettuccine was broken .. they served with spoon . This is not Italian style . Anyway atmosphere was nice , service excellent. Wine’s list to be revisited… especially better remove wine with screw caps and add wine with natural wine corks. Price standard for Uk

Best Sunday roast for some time. Staff were friendly and accommodating, offering off menu items for kids. Food was excellent, big portions and well worth the price. Tasty hearty food in a clean well run establishment.

We were able to get a table for two on a Friday night without a reservation, but I would recommend getting a reservation as the place was quite full. Food was good, but the portions were a bit meager while the prices were not. I particularly enjoyed the Beet Salad with Goat Cheese. Wait staff was friendly, particularly our Polish waiter.

9 of us celebrated a 25th birthday. Front start to finish everything was just right. Greeted by our host Tilly, seated and given time for the whole group to join. Tilly have the perfect amount of attention, was great at explaining the menu and asking questions. The food was fantastic and served in a timely professional manner. Manners of all team members were spot on. Polite when bringing more dishes and apologies for interrupting. I believe the service and food was the best I have had in a long time. This was our visit, it won't be my last.

Bacaro is hands down one of the best spots in Southampton. The vibe is relaxed but stylish, perfect for anything from date night to catching up with friends. The food is amazing – I love the small-plates style because you get to try a bit of everything. The seafood is always super fresh, the pasta tastes like it’s straight out of Italy, and every dish feels full of flavor and care. The staff are brilliant too – friendly, helpful, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They know the menu and wine list inside out and always make great recommendations (special mention to Greg & Tia!) Every time I go, the experience is spot on. Delicious food, the restaurant looks unassuming from the roadside but is so cute inside! The arancini were particularly delicious as well as the gnocchi and ravioli. Nice place to visit for a special occasion!

Bacaro was on my list for a long time! In the middle of August we managed to go for a Sunday lunch ant it was really enjoyable! We had the beef, the lamb and the fish, everything was cooked very nicely. Very good service. We’ll be back 😃

A very dramatic restaurant which was spotless and showed no sign of wear. The service was equally on point and detailed. The food arrived promptly, was tasty and the portions were extremely generous. All in all a fantastic dining experience.

More on the higher end but definitely worth the price! We got the 1814 mixed platter which was so filling we couldn’t eat anymore! It was so yummy, we were gutted we couldn’t eat the mains! Such a beautiful place to eat! The staff were friendly and welcoming and the inside was decorated beautifully. They have wide range of vegetarian dishes as well if thats something you are after. The drinks menu as well has lots of options although a little bit pricey. This is definitely a more fancy place to dine but I recommend splurging a little bit as the food is amazing.

I cannot say enough how delightful dinner here was. The cocktails were clearly made by an excellent mixologist— they were delicious, refreshing, and had complex flavours. The scallops we had for starters weren't just flavourful, I swear they felt restorative to eat, as though they were steamed in a savory health potion. Our entrées, Mongolian beef stir fry and sizzling duck with ginger and spring onion, were so delightful too. It's just a shame we were too full for dessert! The atmosphere was immaculate, the space was so clean and beautifully presented, and the staff were so nice and helpful. Our server Maddie was an absolute legend. If you go to no other restaurant in Southampton, you should go to Shanghai 1814!

The background music for a restaurant was a bit loud, the atmosphere was more like going into a bar. The lighting was too dark, we had to walk very carefully not to trip over. We had a large party so they have arranged a separate room, so that was good privacy. The food was okay, but for the price I was paying, I was expecting something better than that. However, the presentation was wonderful. I ordered a sweet & sour pork, the meat so really dry and tough. The braised beef dish was quite a disappointment, the meat was not tender like how it should and the turnip was obviously not fresh and old ( felt like it’s been stored in the bridge for a long time). The hot & sour soup only tasted vinegar, the chicken was off. The salt& pepper soft shell crab was fabulous. I was expecting more sophisticated service from this nice restaurant, however one of the waitresses really surprised me with her rushy attitude. The speed for our order was incredibly fast, we ordered quite a few dishes but did not expect them to be served all at the same time. Literally there was not space she could put the dishes on the table. So I had to hold the plates while she tried to jiggle around the ones already on the table. Then she hassled us to all take a piece of soft shell crab from the plate so she could clear that plate! The quality and service did not worth £250 last night.

Very nice place with amazing customer service what was the highlight of the visit. We were sitting outside on a very hot day. The waitresses were extremely friendly and helpful. The food was ok. Before our mains arrived we were given bread with some dips and olives. I had vegetarian moussaka and my partner had a steak. He asked for medium well done but it came well done so it was bit dry. He ordered another one which was just perfect as he wanted. The place was a bit pricey in my opinion. My virgin strawberry Mohito was good and refreshing.

One of the very few Turkish restaurants in the UK that truly made me feel like I was back in Turkey. The interior design and the open grill setup are exactly what you’d expect from a classic Turkish restaurant. We stopped by by chance early in the morning for a Turkish coffee and künefe and ended up coming back again for lunch because it was that good. Everything was absolutely spot on. Highly recommended!

Didn’t expect this Turkish restaurant is Southampton, UK. Can highly recommend - even the Turkish wines were a pleasant surprise. The photos show the beef sausage, the Calamari (very good), the Eggplant (great), kofta (Pretty authentic and good - needs a little sauce). We also tried the flat bread. Would go again with no hesitation!

We went to celebrate a friend's big birthday. The young lady that served us was professional, friendly and very knowledgeable of the menu. Amira was confident to offer her recommendations, which worked very well. Food was plentiful and of great quality.

After two long days of travel we made our way to TGI Fridays in Southampton. I have to say the staff at the take out, oops sorry, take away at the bar were so fantastic to accommodate some allergies. The service was top notch and super friendly. Extra shout out to Ivan for the chat.

Really nice bar staff and servers, very friendly and helpful but, food was absolutely tasteless, fries didn’t even taste like fries and the burger was chewy and had no flavour. I wish I went to McDonalds next door for half the price, £19 British pounds this burger and fries cost me the “mother clucker burger” you expect something abit more extravagant, not even any bacon just simply a chicken fillet for 10x the price.

Standard chain restaurant, some not so interested receptionists but once seated service was good, attentive and polite. Food was good, not amazing but perfectly edible and couldn't complain about anything. Service was quick, food was hot, just felt slightly mass produced.

Service is slow. My salad was £16 totally overpriced and there were a few lettuce leafs on my plate with 2 pieces of egg and half a tomato. And no I am not exaggerating. The salad crunched between my teeth and not in a good way. My husbands fries were cold. He would've had the salad if there was a reasonable choice in dressings. He doesn't like spice and that's all they have. No regular dressings. I'm disappointed in Southampton in general as it's grimy and totally overpriced!! Can't wait to leave tomorrow.

Ash was our waiter and she looked after us from start to finish. The food was ok but service was the best. She made sure our drinks where topped up all the time and that we was not waiting for nothing. Kept us informed about everything. Overall great service

Food was really nice except the steak, it wasn’t cooked as we asked for it to be and meat was really chewy. Employee and manager took it professionally, we got apologised and the steak was refunded. Beef burger and chicken wings were delicious. Also we had cocktails and the have 2 for 1 offer which is really good.

Great pub to go to for an away fan visiting St. Mary's which is just a short walk down the road. Nice beer garden so beers in the sunshine. Food was fantastic and didn't take to long considering the pub was packed. DJ spinning the tunes help create and great vibe. The pub is a 20 minute walk from central station so not too bad although up hill, Would recommend.

I recently visited The Rockstone in Southampton to try out their exciting collaboration with Woosabi Asian Street Kitchen, and I must say – the food was absolutely outstanding. From bao buns to Wagyu smash burgers, every dish was packed with bold, vibrant flavours that truly elevated the pub dining experience. The fusion of classic pub charm with Woosabi’s Asian-inspired menu is a brilliant concept. The salted fries had a subtle truffle hint, It’s clear that a lot of thought has gone into the culinary side of things. However, the experience wasn’t without its drawbacks. The food took a little longer than expected to arrive, which was noticeable given the otherwise efficient vibe of the place. Also, while the venue itself is cosy and welcoming, the lack of music or ambient sound left the atmosphere feeling a bit flat – some background music would have added a lot to the overall vibe. Still, the quality of the food makes it worth the visit and I’ll definitely be back to try more from the menu. Just hoping next time there’s a bit more energy in the room to match the flavours on the plate. Rating: 4/5 – Incredible food, but ambience and speed could be improved.

Been here twice for a roast now and it’s been amazing both times, the beef with the charcoal/bbq flavour is just so good.

Food was great - small menu but enough choice for a pub. the flavours were amazing but we all loved the cauli bites and the waygu smashed burger - incredible - great selection of beer too! We went as a family with kids and the server - Shannon- went to the kitchen to sort a plain burger for our grandson. Now let’s talk about Shannon - if everyone in the world was Shannon we would be living our best life - she smiled, engaged and nothing was too much trouble ! What an absolute star ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

What a hidden gem, popped in for lunch and were not disappointed. The menu is really different, all Asian inspired and very very tasty. Good sized portions and a great choice of beers, will definitely revisit!

Ennios offers next to food also 5 Boutique rooms. We have had both. We choose it as our Pre-cruise hotel. We were welcomed very friendly in the morning. We were far before check-in time but we were welcomed very friendly and could leave our suitcases at the reception (which is at the restaurant enterence) and wonder off in town. Room was ready well before check-in time. Comfortabele room, nice airco so room at good temp. Beds are comfortable. And a mini-bar well stocked (hate it to come into a hotel room and open a minibar which is completly empty). As there is now elevator we could leave suitcases we didnot need at reception which saved us from dragging them upstairs for no reason. We had dinner with them as well. Good tatsefull meals. And very friendly service. The prices i must say were a bit at the high end. I would recommend this place to anybody and probably we would book again here if we would be around.

The room was spacious with a comfortable bed, a well-equipped bathroom, and plenty of natural light. Breakfast was enjoyable, offering a good start to the day. However, the price felt a bit high considering the overall experience. The lack of noise insulation was a major drawback—the traffic noise from the main road was quite intrusive, and the thin walls made it easy to hear conversations from neighboring rooms late at night. While the room itself was pleasant, the noise significantly impacted the stay.

Went for dinner after the boat show. Our first choices were all fully booked with people who had thought further ahead than us, so we went here. The food was great, reasonably priced, perfect atmosphere, friendly, helpful staff, suffice to say we were glad we missed our first choices. Never had tapas before, so I've no frame of reference, but I really enjoyed it and will definitely do it again, particularly if I'm back in Southampton.

In my personal opinion, the restaurant is overevaluated - from Italian cousin there is only a name. Their food definitely doesn’t cost that money they ask, and the whole thing about the restaurant is more pathos. However, I need to acknowledge their effort in serving - they tried to keep it on a proper level!

It's always a delight to eat in Ennio's restaurant – the cuisine is consistently excellent as is the wine, and the staff are friendly, charming, and attentive. We loved the music too!It's worth the trip from Chichester, and conveys a true Italian relaxed sense ofpleasure.

What a fantastic place with a fabulous restaurant and staff that are the friendliest, welcoming people we've ever met in a hotel. The food is some of the best food we've eaten albeit quite expensive compared to other restaurants but absolutely worth every penny however the only slight criticism is the drinks are very expensive, ie £6.50 for a bottle of water and I think it worked out at £13.75 for a double barcardi and a bottle of diet coke as there was no draft coke. We live in a main city so are used to paying inflated prices but the drinks are more expensive than Manchester city prices, but we'd definitely stay here again because everything else was perfect, and it's literally across the road from where we pick the cruise up from.

Having booked a show at the local theatre we researched and selected this restaurant in the main as it had a lovely menu and was walking distance to the hotel and theatre. Booked over the phone and the gentleman was lovely. We arrived and from the first moment to the last the service was great. We especially liked the chef / owner coming to each table to ask how the food and service was. The service stayed already was great and the food was lovely. Indeed my favourite bruschetta to date and I’ve been Italy a few times too. The pasta was terrific and puddings superb. Would we come back if we were in the area again absolutely. 💯

Decided to have dinner here after a show at the Mayflower. Had some starters, pasta and shared a dessert. The food was amazing, heavenly soft ciabatta with pesto, sauce in seafood pasta was delicious and one of the best tiramisu we've had in the UK. Will definitely be back to try specials! The atmosphere was also nice, with soft quiet music and gentle light. Service was good, we felt cared for but not overly, which I always appreciate. It's a great place for a nice dinner with a date or a mate, highly recommend to try.

After shopping in the city, we come for dinner as recommendation by Google. We are surprised by their food, their service and the atmosphere of the restaurant, simply but style. Their Italian cuisines are deliciousand we highly recommend the mussels, hake, spaghetti and desserts. Yummy！

Made a booking at Soleto in the afternoon and arrived in the evening greeted with a smile and guided to our table and from there the evening was just sublime. The food and service was just unchallenged. I didn’t even Ben manage to take photos of the food because it was gone before I even thought about it! The recommendations on the food were spot on! Portion sizes were great and food was simply delicious! Best dinner out in years! Absolutely no complaints here!! Not the cheapest but here you get what you pay for really applies. Service and food are up to par, a special place to enjoy your dinner, would be back if opportunity presents itself! Just be careful with Uber when getting out of there! Drivers like to drop you when they see better offer(s). I ended up paying 3 drivers and hoping to get reimbursed on one of the 2 that dropped me!

Delicious food from the Soleto Bistro this evening. Very nice atmosphere, attentive staff and lovely and clean. Will definitely be back soon.

Enjoyed a delicious three course meal here. We were fortunate enough to be seated on a Friday evening without having booked. A little on the pricey side and I'm not a fan of a 12.5% service charge that is automatically added on to the bill, however the ambience and service was spot on. The chef even came out to see that guests were enjoying their food. My only advice is not to go particularly hungry unless you plan to have multiple courses or a couple of sides because the portions are a little modest.

Perfectly place near the red ferry. Came here after our day out on the Isle of Wright. Managed to get a table and had a nice selection of food to eat. Service was good even though they were fairly busy.

We have been coming to La Regata for several years and this place never lets us know. The combination of fantastic, authentic cuisine, atmosphere, and the team makes Le Regata a very special place for us. You feel like you have been transported to Spain and the don't want to leave. I had my birthday lunch at La Regata, and it was truly a wonderful experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with beautiful Spanish décor that made the meal feel extra special. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made me feel genuinely celebrated on my birthday. The food was absolutely delicious – every dish was full of flavour, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented. The tapas selection was especially impressive, with a great variety to suit all tastes. La Regata exceeded my expectations, and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend a special occasion. I’ll definitely be coming back – highly recommended!

Stunning little restaurant on two floors. We went for tapas style food, the restaurant reccomends 3-4 dishes per person. We would suggest 3 if hungry and can order more if needed as quite filling portions Very quick to receive food, friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. A lot of chorizo on the menu and a (un)healthy amount of cheese for those dishes which makes it feel great value for money. Will be coming back

The staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us, really made the experience special. The food was just amazing — every single dish was packed with flavour. The tapas were delicious (the albondigas and crackling pork were unreal!) and the seafood paella was perfect. Portions were generous and everything tasted super fresh. We went for a family meal on Saturday and had the best time. The service was some of the best I have experienced in hospitality for a very long time, everyone was super warm, friendly and attentive. The new menu is DELICIOUS and we ate a lot of it! Thank you to the team, we will definitely be back

Brilliant!! Perfectly cooked meat and the presentation was spectacular. The dressing on the Greek salad is simply gorgeous. The grilled chicken was cooked perfectly - a must try! We went for a Greek sangria carafe for 16£ loved it! I wish it had more mint in it, sweeter than I expected.

We had a wonderful dinner. Our waiter Kasia was so nice and polite. That was the best food I’ve had in a very long time. I’m from Bulgaria and I was missing the fresh food. We had the chicken skewers and prawns - I can tell the chicken was made on a BBQ - a taste of home - I loved it, definitely coming back 🤍💚❤️

I'm giving 2 stars for the food instead of 1 star as the food was pretty good in taste but I had a pork belly souvlaki and the portion of meat was laughable!! (Actually couldn't taste the meat as there was so little). See pic below. That was all the meat on it! £11 ... very overpriced and wine at a pretty basic restaurant at over £10 for a large glass of rose wine is also overpriced. Atmosphere and service is decent. However, many other places to eat where you won't be ripped off. I agree.... portions are very small. We won't be back.

I had such a fantastic experience at The Real Greek! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a lively buzz that made it feel authentic and welcoming. Me and my girlfriend have been eating here for a few years now and I can honestly say they have been excellent everytime! The one time they made a slight mistake, we were offered a major discount and the staff were so lovely about it. Food and service has always been phenomenal, lovely place and atmosphere!

Absolutely love this restaurant whenever I’m missing Greek food. The service there is incredible a real deal what a service should be like. I got the chance to speak with the Beatriz that was serving our table and what amazing staff you have there . Greet us with the biggest smile and really took care of us. Very impressive

We visited this resturant after a family member said they had been and loved it, we were not disappointed. We managed to reserve online and when we arrived the place was full. There are only around 30ish covers. It’s such a lovely resturant the service is second to none. We felt so welcome. We had starters and a main each, we will likely do main and dessert next time as some of them looked lovely but we didn’t have any room left! Nicole and Carmo are wonderful. They are attentive but not too much, happy to explain and talk to you without feeling rushed and it was just such a pleasant experience. This is not a chain restaurant and wow do you feel the difference. The food is made in what feels like the teeniest kitchen but what comes out of there is fresh, tasty and great portion sizes. We will be back! The front is small, unsuspecting but inside if you step in, you will be transported to a world you wouldn’t have thought possible. Highly recommended.

Went here for our anniversary dinner and had a wonderful experience. We arrived a few minutes early, but the staff kindly had us wait while our table was prepared, giving us time to browse the menu. The restaurant itself is small, but it has such a warm, cozy, and homely feel that immediately makes you comfortable. Service was excellent staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure our water glasses were always topped up. They kept the table tidy throughout the meal, which really added to the experience. For starters, we shared the mussels in a white wine sauce absolutely delicious. The sauce was creamy, rich, and decadent, while the mussels were cooked perfectly. We also had the burrata, which came with pesto, Parma ham, rocket, and cherry tomatoes. Everything was fresh and the burrata was wonderfully creamy. For mains, we both went for seafood pasta. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente, packed with plenty of seafood, and served with fantastic sauces. For the quality and portion size, the price is more than worth it. To finish, we tried two desserts the panna cotta and crème brûlée. Both were made to perfection: smooth, dreamy, and indulgent. Overall, it was a lovely evening and a memorable meal. We’ll definitely be returning to try more of the menu.

Cozy little restaurant with delicious Italian food! Ordered a Pollo Piccolo Mondo which was a chicken breast with mushrooms and a delicious tomato cream and pesto sauce. The sauce was exquisite and paired nicely with the tender chicken, and the side of fries was crisp! Had a nice latte to go with the food, really enjoyed my meal here! Paid £24.50 total for the meal

Honestly couldnt write a bad thing about this place. Dined here 3 times, always an amazing experience. Small but mighty, this restaurant is intimate, with some of the best food in the city. My personal favourite is the matriciana, and the garlic bread is immaculate. Portion sizes are more than generous, and the wait staff are lovely. Will be here many more times and I always recommend it to my friends.

We have been here twice in the last week for a roast and it is brilliant! The staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble, the food is gorgeous and really good portion sizes. Cal the bartender is brilliant! I would recommend this place to everyone

Figurati has a great vibe and a very cosy feel (love the decor). We received great service from the team and our food was very high quality. They also took into account my special request as it was my partner's birthday – not all restaurants cater to this, so it was a genuine surprise and really made the evening. Would highly recommend; it's a little pricy but well, well worth it, especially for the right occasion.

We had the most fabulous lunch here today as a group of 10 adults and 2 children. When we arrived the staff noticed that we were handing out our wedding invitations to our friends, and came to ask a member of our party if we were there for a special occasion. Our friends told them that we were getting married later this year and so they brought out a "Congratulations" plate with miniature desserts on for myself and my fiancé, after our mains. I've never known a restaurant to be so wonderfully thoughtful! We were so surprised and so delighted. Aside from that, the food and drinks were absolutely fantastic, the staff were attentive and friendly, and service was very fast. The decor is also really lovely, as an added bonus! Totally faultless. Thank you so very much for a memorable experience and we will definitely be back again!

Figurati is hitting all the right notes this summer! Their new menu is a real treat, bursting with fresh, seasonal flavors. The standout for me was undoubtedly the salmon pizza – a surprisingly delicious combination that was both light and satisfying. Great new cocktail selection! Each one was expertly crafted and incredibly refreshing, the perfect accompaniment to a warm evening.

I don’t normally leave reviews but I was so blown away by the service, the drinks, the food, absolutely everything was 10/10 for the Lusso brunch we attended over the weekend! The staff were absolutely incredible. The drinks you get at these brunches normally make me so sick and they use the cheapest alcohol but this brunch was first class. The Prosecco tasted beautiful and the cocktails were sensational. We weren’t ever without a drink and I want to say this is the best brunch I have been to in the UK! Even had steak that was absolutely beautifully cooked to perfection. I’d recommend this to anyone looking for a brunch in Southampton!

We had the loveliest dinner at Figurati and I honestly can’t stop thinking about it. Everything from the starters to dessert was spot on. We ordered the burrata, pane (tomato focaccia), pappardelle bolognese, rigatoni alla zucca, and a Diavolo pizza — each dish was full of flavour and beautifully presented. The star of the night though? Definitely the “Dubai” Style Chocolate Dome. Cracking open the rich chocolate shell to reveal the pistachio gelato and cream inside felt like unwrapping a gift. So delicious! The staff were warm and attentive, and the atmosphere was relaxed but elegant. We sat near the window with a view of the marina — such a perfect spot for a quiet dinner or a date night. If you’re in Southampton, you need to try Figurati. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel like you’re on a little holiday, even if just for a meal.

Figurati is a gem in town! Callum is hands down the best cocktail maker – he made me the perfect rum-based drink just how I like it. The manager’s top-notch and the whole team is super friendly. Can’t wait to come back!

Deva good! A really classy little Indian cuisine restaurant. Easily found on walkable High Street. We arrived early for dinner midweek so no reservations were required. Service was friendly and prompt. The food, the food, the food!!! OMG, did I say how good the food is?? We were only in Southampton for two days and we went here twice! I think my favorite thing was how much joy the food gave to me.

Absolutely excellent meal at Bayleaf. We were staying 1 night in Southampton and looked for a local restaurant. Bayleaf ticked all the boxes, most of all there are so many Indian dishes that we had never seen before. I had a Tamarind chicken which was delightful. It has a deep sweetness from the tamarind and tomatoes and a nice kick. My wife had a duck dish which was exquisite and another dish we had never tried before. Great service from nice staff 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Food was absolutely amazing, chicken was beautifully cooked. 10/10 would recommend the chicken tikka madras! Service was exceptional - the staff even noticed my son take off his jumper and asked if we would like the air con above us switched on for a little while, and then kept checking in to check we weren’t too cold. Little noisy but it was a busy Saturday night in the city centre. Will definitely be returning if in the area!

Great food. Service was a little slow as they were full but guess that's to be expected. We had booked but got seated a bit late due to how busy they were. Took around 50 mins to get our mains (we didn't have starters). But we weren't in a rush so just enjoyed chatting. The food itself was great. Nice portions and decent price. Came to £30 each with 2 beers per person and sides. (£26 without a tip). Would visit again, perhaps when a little less busy 🙂.

OMG. We visited that restaurant only because there was no space for us in the restaurant that we wanted to eat. But I can say that there was not even slight thought of regret. Food and service was absolutely amazing. I'm not a big fan of Lamb, but the way it was prepared last night I could easily say that I would change my mind. I would highly recommend this place if you looking to eat some great food and drink nice wine go there and you won't be disappointed.

If you are either a vegan or vegetarian and would enjoy something much more than a vegetable curry, this is the place to go! Placed near old Southampton High Street. The restaurant offers a wide range of vegetarian based dishes which place vegetables at the centre of the cuisine, everything was delicious and represented a truly inspired Indian dish. Our tables ordered aubergine 5 ways, korma paneer and many other tasty options also delicious masala chai. Service and attention to detail throughout the restaurant.

Absolutely amazing food, the best I’ve had since living in the UK for four years, and I’ve tried an array of Indian cuisine. I can’t wait to come back and try other items on the menu! My girlfriend who’s from the UK also loved everything so it’s great for everyone.

It was Central India based menu. They change the menu region almost every season. Fabulously curated. Ordered vada pav, pharra, Misal, kadhi, nawabi chicken, pear lassi and rabdi. All delicious, different flavours to traditional and high quality. Decent seating, can add to desi interiors. Would definitely recommend for unique pan india modern food experience. Will visit again.

As it's mentioned everywhere by the restaurant themselves, it's a small team of only 3 people running this place. And they do an absolutely amazing job! The service is at a great pace(we were really feeling for the guy working the floor, the amount of running around between the tables and still patiently explaining everything!) and the food is all lovely. We also went for the recommended wine pairing for our mains and really enjoyed that too. Would certainly go back to try the rest of the menu too!

Our second visit to Kesarum, and it won’t be our last. Maresh greeted us with such warmth and made us right at home from the start. As other reviews have mentioned this is a small team of three running the whole restaurant - two out back and one on front of house. Working flat out, we still felt that everything was attentive and nothing missed. Food was exquisite and intricately plated, the wine pairings were great and Maresh explained the plating of each dish as it came out. Best vegan dining experience in this part of the world, by a long way! Menu changes several times a year. They recommend 2 - 2.5 hours for 3 courses which we found to be about right, the whole experience was very relaxed and warm.

Went for dinner with a friend. Sushi came out and within 5 minutes, there was a swarm of 5-10 flies that just kept coming and flying around and on the sushi. I told the waitress who was serving us that there are flies around and she came and started shooing them away rather than making an effort to do something about this seriously concerning issue. I then requested to move tables and she hesitated before agreeing after I insisted a second time. We moved to another table, they brought our food and the flies shortly followed thereafter. I felt sick and couldn’t eat anymore. When she came back, I told her the flies all over our food is unacceptable and she said we’re the only table that had flies, no other table, and that we brought them with us. Taken aback by her response, I reiterated that it just isn’t acceptable and most of the sushi was untouched because of this. My friend took away her food (cooked food that the flies didn’t really approach) and she asked if we wanted to take the sushi and I said of course not. She came back with our bill, with nothing reduced or removed and no amendments made to rectify this atrocious food safety risk. I reiterated again that this should not happen and she once again said that it was only us experiencing this and made a joke that we’re wearing perfume that smells sweet. I said I’ve come here several times and this has never happened, and said I won’t be returning again. She took payment with no apology or acknowledgment of the issue, no rectification, and yes I will surely not be returning and am frankly concerned for the food hygiene in this place. I should’ve noticed the 4 star hygiene rating before entering (which I imagine should be lower…) Otherwise, other wait staff seemed friendly and smiled, but still would never ever return at the risk of eating something bad. I took a video near the end where you can see 1/4th of the flies around us flying on the table and food (having calmed down at this point in comparison to the entire 40 minutes we were there). Honestly regret not just getting up and leaving then and there. Horrible experience, and a shame because this place used to be one of the better ones around. Came here on the Southampton Food Tour (June '25). I've never been a fan of Japanese food but this has turned me. Delicious sushi, friendly staff, and great atmosphere. Will 100% be back! Oh, and the plum wine and the matcha roll cake are awesome!

Ordered via UberEats and the unagi don had so many bones as if no preparation at all… Both bowl have bones… I need to pick them out myself.. and the takoyaki lacking in sauce and bonito flakes… it’s also quite underwhelming.

Be aware if you order delivery! I have visited Sakura several times and enjoyed their food. Sometimes I order their delivery. In the delivery app, they have an option for a smaller portion of salmon don. It usually contains about 80-85g of salmon sashimi. I know this because I’m on a diet, so I weigh and record everything I eat. However, this time, it turns out to be only 55 grams of salmon (about 4 pieces of sashimi), which is almost 30% less than the usual weight. I called the restaurant and told the owner about this situation. The owner said, “ It must be because the staff at the back of the kitchen have been nice and put too much fish in the past.” That is very funny. Thank you for letting me know that I have been treated well secretly.

Lovely little place for lunch! There’s on street pay & display parking right outside or a multi-storey right behind. Service was brilliant, the lady who took our order was so friendly and helpful and was very attentive throughout our lunch. They’re also very attentive with allergies and made sure to separate things out or recommend alternatives. We definitely ate with our eyes and ordered more than we could finish but everything was delicious! Lovely decor inside and great location with decently priced food!

I am quite delayed in posting this review as we went on Valentine’s Day: This is relevant because the staff put a flower decoration on our table and they said that we could take it home.

The restaurant is very nice. Their menu prices are worth the portion and taste! Albeit expensive, it's by far the best pizza I've tasted in Southampton! The mango slushy was disappointing, it was sour and the taste wasn't really the best, my friend gave it a 2/5. However, that didn't matter when the pizza and sides came out. The pizza was phenomenal, full of taste and especially delicious when steaming hot! The sides were got both the pesto and the Mac' n cheese balls. The pesto balls were okay at best, but the Mac' n cheese balls were the best!! I can't stress it enough, but the cheese and crunch were to die for 🤤 I see myself ordering from here again and recommending it to friends, best pizza in Southampton! 🙌🙌

Very simple place, nothing too fussy but pizza was very good and price extremely reasonable - we had 2 Margherita and a bottle of tap water and we only paid £20. Nothing more than the cost of the pizzas: no service charge or anything similar. Would definitely recommend for a quick meal. Staff was extremely friendly and attentive.

The pizzas are always tasty. Big bonus is that popsi's collaborates with Bedford place pubs that don't serve hot food, so you can order your popsi's and collect it to eat at the pub. Waiting times can vary, but that's because the food is popular and can get busy. The only downside is that since COVID, the pizzas have grown smaller and smaller, while prices have increased. We're always surprised with our periodic orders, to see them grow even smaller. It's a major factor for not ordering more frequently any more (speaking as a customer of 4+ years, and thoughts are similar amongst friends) - the feel is that you don't get value for price. If at least the size and ingredients are increased, then we'll be giving loads more custom to Popsi's again. Hoping for that, as me and folks I know value the quality of popsi's pizza and want to see the place continue to thrive.

Nice little place. The pizza was lush, soft and doughy. Also enjoyed the pesto mozzarella dough bites to start Great service. The only thing I was looking forward too was the slushies but sadly there weren’t ready, we did dine early. Also, dog friendly so very happy all round.

One of the more popular places for pizza in Southampton - definitely the most popular in Bedford place! The place is tiny but the pizzas are big..on taste and crust and sauce. The tomato sauce is tangy and savoury and full of flavour. The crust is perfect on the outside but just a little soggy for my liking. It's thin crust pizza after-all - all the rage is the crispy crust. They could make their already great pizzas perfect by adding a bit of crunch. The toppings are plentiful and unless you really crave a WHOLE LOT MORE, you're ok with what's on the base. We got the Truffle Shuffle (🍄🍄🍄) and the Sweet Pot (with nduja for the spice and honey for the sweet). I was skeptical about the honey but it worked really well. Overall 4/5 . Great pizza.

Amazing pizza in a wonderful atmosphere with a lovely staff! If you're looking for a place with great neapolitan pizza, POPSI'S is the way. The place is rather small but fortunately was not too crowded on Thursday evening. Bonus points for the option to make any pizza vegan.

A good place to eat on a budget. Food is average and can be a bit slow to arrive. Staff are polite and friendly. Nice atmosphere considering the price. Overall, there is a good balance of cost service and quality.

I ordered two very classic pasta dishes. The meatball spaghetti was probably cooked a little better, but the Carbanara was not very traditional. It had too much cream.

Bella Italia is my favorite Italian spot in Southampton! The pasta is amazing, especially the Lasagna – a must-try! Prices are super student-friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. Highly recommend for a tasty, budget-friendly meal!

Best dining experience ive had in a long long time...haven't been here for a few years so decided to visit again. I had a lovely greeting by the server and was so quick and efficient with everything. Food...perfection! Atmosphere...so so lively and positive...its impossible to think of a negative about this place...unlike somewhere else (in the same chain), the management team actually respect their colleagues and don't walk out in the middle of service for a smoke...at least they understand the importance of customers! Will definitely be back!!

Booked a table as in town before going on a cruise. Dede was very helpful and looked after us lovely. She noticed I had left half my meal and asked if it was OK. It was a little sweet for me, she came back with a sorbet for me to clear the taste. That is proper customer service skills.

An excellent" modern" brewery bar set in an ancient stone building, directly opposite the Red Funnel ferry terminal. A superb range of home brewed real ales and craft beers is available. Great atmosphere, fascinating interior, great service. A must for any beer enthusiast - welcomes families and children too. Some outdoor seating albeit on the busy road out front. Best parking for drivers is in the nearby Mayflower Park, at £1.50 for 2 hours.

First of all, the atmosphere inside the store is great, making good use of the old building. The staff are also friendly and provide good customer service. I had the recommended food and beer. It was delicious and the portions were generous. I was visiting Southampton for work and stopped by. I would like to come back next time I come to this city. Thank you for the meal ♪

If you happen to be in Southampton… do NOT miss this place. The atmosphere is incredible. The staff are so lovely and attentive and the food…. Without doubt some of the finest cuisine I’ve had in a long time. I went for the Venison pie. It was incredible. Prices are reasonable for the quality you receive. Would come back in a heartbeat! 🫶

Overall, the place has a cozy, warm feeling with different options of beer. This is the first time I've been here with my friend, had no idea what's for the order and the bartender helped us out, which was so nice of him. Definitely one of my favourite places here in Soton to hang out!

It's a nice pub in Southampton, just a few minutes away from city centre. They got selection of nice craft beer which at least one of them would suit you. It's nearby the cruise terminal so there may be occasional 🐦 visitings which kind of cute (for me at least). As it's a nice place with good beers, you can easily spend a long time in there trying out some beers.

Housed in an historic building on the edge of the city walls, this microbrewery has a wide range of beers, ales and ciders on tap and a small but delicious menu. Lush decor and good vibes a plenty - a great place to hang out near the quayside.

An historic building that's been very tastefully repurposed. A really lovely place for a drink. Lots of wood. I can recommend the "Jack 'O' Diamonds" red ale. Very drinkable! Super to see the mash tuns beside the bar in full use.

Food was very good, well cooked and tasty. A bit disappointed we had to wait a fair time for it to come, but enjoyed it anyway. The place is really nicely decorated, but did find it a bit noisy in the bar area, especially as the music was playing as well. Biggest disappointment and shock was the ladies toilet. Frankly they were disgusting. The actual toilet itself was not clean, a lot of hairs and grime behind the toilet sink. Someone had done a no. 2 and not cleaned it, and I guess no one regularly checks the cleanliness of the toilets. The wash hand basins were very similar, very dirty. The whole area was grubby and needs a lot of updating to make it modern and hygienic. I’m sure it wouldn’t pass a hygiene inspection if carried out. Wasn’t able to take any photos of toilets as both were being used when I went back in, so only got photos of toilet area etc. You have let yourselves down Ceno’s. Won’t be returning, as if the toilets are like that I would always be thinking, is the kitchen clean!!!

We absolutely love CENO’s! The food is both tasty and fresh, the portion sizes are also generous. A decent selection and plenty of variety. If the sun is shining then the terrace out front is recommended. The only thing missing is Chablis on the menu, or maybe my wife drank them out last summer🤷🏻‍♂️. All good here, sincerely recommended, we’ll be back soon enough.

We had a lovely family meal at Ceno yesterday. The Sunday Roast was amazing with large portions. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We had 2 small children and the staff were very accommodating with them. We will definitely be returning. Highly recommended!

Not having been to Cenos for a few months I had forgotten how much we enjoy coming here. The food is always good and we normally choose from the sharing menu where theres multiple options that suits all of our tastes. The crispy lamb salads and honey mustard sausages are our firm two out of a number of others. The staff are always friendly and the outdoor seating gets the sun all day and late into the evening! Parking is plentiful, I've introduced many friends to this place over the years and can well recommend.

What an absolutely lovely place. Friendly staff, yummy drinks and a lovely setting inside and out. Comfy too. Well worth a visit. Next time we'll have time for some food too. I've heard great things about this place. 5 star 🌟

I’ve read a few other reviews and looks like I’m not alone in my experience. It does look like Cosmo reply’s to all negative reviews the same and doesn’t act on them. I hope my review gives an honest reflection of what to expect coming to this restaurant. I went with two friends and we were made to pay first (I thought maybe everyone did. NOPE just us ) I can’t help but think this was because we were three young friends. The lady at the till has awful customer skills ! We felt rushed and pressured to pay FOR A MEAL WE HADNT EVEN EATEN YET. We didn’t realise that there was a service added. I’m not sure what service I was paying for as 1) I hadn’t even sat down yet and 2) it’s a self service buffet ? Had it had been pointed out or I wasn’t being rushed into paying I would have removed the service. This isn’t ok and as we were leaving another table also mentioned the same thing. Not cool. Because of being rushed and also paying before we were even seated and eaten we didn’t get drinks. Had we been sat first we would have got a Bottle of wine or 2 but we went with water because there was pressure and no time to look. I asked about allergies and the guy said they were all listed. The top 14 are but nothing else but everything is cross contaminated so if you have anaphylaxis or severe allergies I wouldn’t risk it. It’s not something they take too seriously. Nothing was labeled if it was vegetarian/vegan and had to ask for most dishes. I do think your staff need to be trained on allergies and dietary requirements as this isn’t something to take lightly and your standards aren’t up to par. I went to the hot plate to get some squid (I’m pesciterian but it’s easier to explain as vegetarian ) the guy didn’t understand what I was saying as he started cooking the squid and offered me steak. I told him I don’t eat meat. Another guy ordered the steak … as he’s cooking my squid he uses the same spatulas without cleaning them. I’ll give the staff credit for their quick clearing of plates but I’m still not sure what I paid service for as I don’t think we spoke to any staff. The dessert was the only good part of the experience. There was a lot of choice and it was pretty clean. I do think you get what you pay for it was mid at best but please sort out your allergy and dietary training for staff ! Also please tell the lady at the desk to let people know about service. Unless these things changed I wouldn’t return but I’m sure it’s great for children and birthdays.

Gets a little loud with the amount of people and a lot of people shoving in the que but dont let that put you off. The place is always so clean and tidy. Staff have always been polite and helpful. Food selection is incredible and always so fresh and tasteful. Every item has its own tongs/spoons so no cross contamination. Every item has its allergens right infront so you dont have to ask for them. Little more pricey than where we normaly go for date night BUT its worth it.

Satay chicken was pink and raw. luckily we caught it before eating any. service was rude and inattentive. bournemouth restaurant is 100% better. rest of the food was okay - definitely not worth the price in my opinion. atmosphere was okay - very loud for a Monday evening but mostly because we were seated next to a loud party table. kind of seemed like the staff wanted us gone asap. do not eat here!!!

The service was excellent friendly, attentive, and well coordinated even with our large group 14 of us . The food was piping hot, fresh, and consistently replenished, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Everything from seating to food stations was well organized without any delays or confusion. Well done to the entire team for creating such a smooth and satisfying dining experience. I recently popped into Cosmo and had the best time! The buffet was fantastic, with loads of variety and everything was fresh and tasty. I really loved the Beef in Black Bean Sauce and the Prawn with Courgettes—so full of flavour and definitely worth the value. The whole place was spotless, and the vibe was just right. Service was top-notch too; can’t wait for my next visit!

What a great restaurant! A really warm and authentic feeling atmosphere from the moment you walk in, clearly a family run business. The staff are excellent, very attentive and keen to provide an outstanding service. The menu has a great selection, with plenty of choice and several specials on offer depending on what is available fresh that day. The prices are exceptionally reasonable, and the food is of very good quality. The portions are generous, and there is very little to fault. On the Sunday we visited, the restaurant was unusually quiet, but I imagine even on a busier night you're likely to get a space as there are many tables arranged over two floors. They seem happy to accommodate larger groups also.

The profiteroles are the best I've ever had, highly recommend! Incredible menu and worth a visit if you're feeling something Italian. I went here for a friend's birthday and the service was brilliant. Considering how many people we had (15 or so) all our food was hot and came out in very good time. Hands down, the best Italian restaurant in Southampton! We tried the fettuccine salmon and the calzone for mains, followed by tiramisu and sticky toffee pudding for dessert. Everything was a 10/10. The flavours and freshness made it feel like having a meal in Italy itself. Even though the restaurant was busy during dinner, the service was excellent, and our food arrived sooner than expected.

Went there for the 2nd time with my boyfriend and it was still amazing. This staff is very friendly, time serving is reasonable, and you get high quality food in good serving. Love it.

I was there on 25/01/2024 around 19:00 and found the restaurant with enough free seats and I liked that a lot because the chef had time to make me food quietly without the pressure of orders. The girl who served me was very kind and extremely attentive to customers. The food was super basic, nothing extraordinary, but for the asking price you shouldn't have high expectations.

A lovely Italian with a great specials board. Mussels, beef tagliatelle, lasagne or pizza are all above expectations. Chatting with the staff, the owners are worthy of 5 stars and a pleasant value and portion sizes

Nice place to hangout and for family get together. Food was okay, the fried rice we ordered was only spicy with no other flavours which was a minus for us. love spiciness but need balanced flavours. Mango sticky rice was delicious 🤤 Location is spot on and the ambience is beautiful.

Very good authentic Thai food at a reasonable price. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff were friendly and attentive. We had the Pad Thai with Chicken and the Street Noodles with BBQ Pork; both were great. Definitely will visit again.

Good taste!!!! Whenever I miss Thai food, I usually order pork with basil and tell the chef to put lots of chili in the dish. I also order Singha beer to drink with it. It makes me miss home so much.

Fantastic food and drink. Would definitely recommend the Thai teas. Either are delicious, but the Assam version is brilliant for a hot day. I had a beef chilli and Thai basil stir fry. Not too hot, but the combination of herbs and spices was divine!

A nice authentic feeling Thai restaurant with great decor and a sizeable menu full of all the classic dishes, plus some more unique options. Drinks took a little while to arrive but there’s plenty to admire in the decor while you wait and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The sharing pinto is a sizeable option to share between a number of people and is unique in presentation and tasty. It wasn’t the cheapest of options but if I was looking for a Thai meal again I’d certainly return.

This place isn’t what it used to be. Service was terrible and non existent. We came for breakfast and the wait for food was around 45 mins and the place was dead. Food was average at best, and Ed’s used to be pretty good for breakfast. The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because the milkshakes are decent still.

Lovely food... proper diner style food. Definitely not healthy lol! Probably wouldn't go out of my way to eat here again. The price was quite high compared to other options. We were the only ones eating so not much atmosphere.

Sadly the only good thing about our visit were the milkshakes. They managed to get 2 things wrong with our order despite going to the desk and placing it. They didn’t bring the fries ordered and brought the wrong chicken. This was eventually rectified. The food I had was not good (the burger/cheese) had no taste. We won’t be returning.

Food was lovely but needed more to make it look like a proper diner, couldn't fault the food though. The only lager they sell is bottled budweiser which is very expensive £6 a bottle!!

One of the best vegan pies I have ever tried! I had the Ron Bourginon. The vegan gravy was also really good. I also tried the vegan porky pie which was delicious. A hidden gem in Winchester, well worth a visit.

I was drawn in by the name, but stayed for the yummy food! I appreciate the theme. The pie was perfectly flaky and tasty! The potatoes were also very yummy. My husband and I sat on the outside tables. We ordered at the till inside and they brought it out to us when it was ready. Staff were friendly. There were plenty of gluten free and vegan options.

Absolutely wonderful! We split a 'Piefull Tower', and neither of us could take another bite. Food was hot and tasty. Simon was the only front end worker and he was running his butt off. Nevertheless the service was friendly and fast. Will definitely go back when back in Southampton. Deb and Ron, the Canadians not off a cruise ship (Simon will understand).

My first time in Southampton, and decided to hit up Piecaramba before heading out in the morning. We were not disappointed! The Thunderbird and Piecaramba are both excellent. BBQ beans, mushy mint peas, mashed potatoes were tasty. We liked the onion gravy much more than the white gravy, which we thought lacked flavor.

This was an amazing dinner. The food was outstanding and more than we could have asked for. This was a highlight of our trip. Simon, Jade, and Katie were just as amazing as the food. Their service was top notch. If you are in Southampton this is a MUST VISIT!!

The food here is absolutely amazing, and the staff are always warm, welcoming, and lovely. Unfortunately, the owner’s behaviour has completely put me off coming back. During my last visit, my friends and I brought a drink and then moved a bench slightly to sit in the sun. I understand that wasn’t ideal, but we only shifted it a tiny bit and immediately apologised when asked to move it back. Instead of simply letting us know politely, the owner came out with a confrontational attitude, telling us “this is my property” in a dismissive tone, sighing, shaking his head, and making comments under his breath. It was such an unnecessarily rude and disrespectful interaction — especially toward customers who have visited many times before. I’ve always loved this place, and the rest of the staff are wonderful, but the owner’s attitude was so unpleasant and off-putting that it’s made me not want to return.

We absolutely loved the flavours of this place. The guacamole tasted so fresh, fish tacos were so cute and the chipotle was spicy but excellent. Being from Canada the food was super tiny and we didn’t feel full enough after eating the 3 street tacos. Everything was perfectly priced!

I rarely leave reviews, but the food and service at Mexifun were an easy 11/10 — I just had to share! We ordered two quesadillas (one chicken, one pulled pork) and a pulled pork taco, and each dish completely exceeded expectations — especially the pulled pork, which was tender, flavorful, and felt like a true taste of Mexico. Portions were generous, prices were reasonable, and every bite was packed with flavor. On top of that, the shop owner was incredibly friendly and attentive. A wonderful mix of great food, warm hospitality, and genuine care. Highly recommended to anyone in the area!

This is a lovely Mexican cafe with some indoor seating for 12 customers max.. We went for lunch on a Saturday. We noticed everything was made to order. So we had the Roasted Mixed Vegetables Rice Bowl and the Roasted Peppers Burrito. Both were delicious. Authentic Mexican too. Excellent service.

We had jarrito mexican cola, steak and cheese burrito, fish tacos, and tortilla chips with guacamole totalling to GBP35. The owner made us try his new slow-cooked beef recipe which was delicioso and he actually valued our input and feedback. On top of this, the staff was attentive but not overbearing. The music wasnt too loud and the ambience was nice. It honestly felt as comfortable as sitting in my own home. My only improvement food wise is a personal taste, which is that I would have liked more salt to bring out some more flavour, particularly for the guacamole and the burrito. Again this will vary person to person, and people can always add their own salt. If you want high quality food which is clearly prepared with love, then we highly recommend Mexifun.

Very quiet place during the day. The costumer service was good and the place was nice and clean. The desserts itself are very overpriced and really not that great. If you are going for dessert I would recommend skipping the crepes and strawberry’s and chocolate and instead opting for the ice cream. The icecream is delicious and worth the money.

I’m giving two stars only because food was delicious however restaurant was extremely dirty what make uncomfortable. We been first guests in the restaurant yesterday and dirt was noticeable, staff seems to don’t like their job, we fell unwanted there and strong stink of sweat from them ruined our meal. I will not back. Higien should be on the top where food is served..

Went on a Saturday night, wasn’t too busy but the tables weren’t extremely clean and everything seemed a bit all over the place. Desserts themselves were quite expensive but enjoyable. Very nice staff tho.

Popped in for a sneaky treat in the afternoon. Counter service: I waited a while before anyone acknowledged that I was there, then the member of staff moved to a till further away and expected me to follow without any verbal communication. When I had placed and paid for my order, a number was thrust at me, again without any words. The only interaction with me was "cream or ice cream?" Several tables had not been cleared or cleaned. The food was lovely.

Dirty and Filthy!!! Tables had ice cream and dessert wipe marks on them, chairs had dairy on them. Staff couldnt care any less of hygiene standards and service, waited good time for the 2 ladies showing something off on their phones, had enough and just walked out!

Really delicious meal with the family. Very attentive host. The September discount Monday - Wednesday (reserve a table online) makes it excellent value for money if treating yourself to a mid week meal out.

The food was absolutely unbelievable, the range of tastes was amazing. We specifically asked to have some help with our order and he tailored it to the flavours we wanted whilst giving good recommendations based on flavour matching and the hot weather. We were only one of three tables in there but hopefully more people use this place, will definitely be going back!

Read plenty of reviews for this venue and safe to say it definitely lives up to its hype! We were greeted very warmly by both owners and the venue is very welcoming and homely. The food is outstanding as well as the service and passion the owners clearly have for their amazing venture. We ordered the Pav Bhaji which was EPIC. Its normally hard to get a good well spiced and seasoned one and this one hits the mark 100%! The Potato Bombay Bad Boys were a fabulous take on a vada pav and took them to a next level and they were super in terms of the perfect portion size and flavour. Dhaba Nachos with the soya keema are again another fantastic and different way of serving nachos and were amazing as again it shows the owners take on different foods and again they hit the mark with it. Awesome dish. Tandoori Butter wings were the perfect blend of tandoor flavour with a lovely not spicy marinade that would suit any palette, really enjoyed them. We also had a Paneer Masala which was divine. The sauce was completely different to the standard sauce you get at other curry places and could not get enough of it! Was so good. The dishes were washed down with a gorgeous passion fruit martini and a Nimbu Paani which was very refreshing. Id highly recommend this venue and we will definitely be back for sure to try more of the menu out. A big thanks to the owners and staff there who made everyone feel welcome and super to see them trying different takes on dishes and most certainly being successful in doing so! See you again! The entire evening was absolutely fantastic, from the amazing service, fabulous food and drinks. If you like Indian cuisine, then this tapas style menu is truly amazing and definitely worth a visit! I for one will definitely be going back ..

Everything was just too oily. One of my friend fell sick and all of us had a bad stomach post our lunch. Had to cleanse our body with something from Tesco. The chicken and panner were very rubbery and felt like they were cooked separately and added at the end. Over all wouldn't recommend.

Great little place for an informal meal. Masala fries are truly epic . Especially with a cold lager and sport on the screens. Tapas prawns were some of the best I've ever tasted and we'll be returning to try prawn curry next. I found the gents toilets a little lacking but it did look like works were ongoing to bring it back up to standard. You can't close the entire restaurant because of one leaky urinal and I'm not going to hold that against them. Clientele ranged from families, couples and groups of young people, really proving that this restaurant has something for everyone... It's an informal sports bar, a chilled place to meet, eat and pass some time. larger range of spirits than I was expecting too. Overall, a good experience and we will be returning soon.

The most low quality chinese food I have eaten in UK. Take a note, the rice you see is their special fried rice which costs 8.5£ on Uber eats. The quality is so low that any self respecting chef will not serve it. The side of beef is palatable at its best. My suggestion : Do not order.

Excellent service and tasty food. We opted for the buffet (£26.95 each, minimum of 2 people). We went for 7 starters, and then 5 mains; this was a good amount, although I assume they adjust portions depending on how many you pick, but you can order more after if you've still got some room! The duck starter in particular was very good and a generous portion too (see photo). Everything was fresh and had great flavour. Sometimes when having Chinese food you can come away spending the rest of the evening needing lots of water (because of the high salt and/or msg) but this wasn't one of those times, so a big plus there as far as I'm concerned. If you opt for the buffet, order tap water (or anything else without bubbles!) to drink so you can make the most of trying out lots of the different food options. There's plenty of bars nearby to go after for a drink once some of that food has gone down!

Went for the buffet for two, food and service was amazing. Everything tasted home cooked and authentic, staff serving is was very kind, funny and respectful. Owner seems genuinely nice and made us feel welcome on our first time there. I don't understand the 1 star reviews, we really enjoyed the food.

Absolutely amazing time at Tangs Southampton tonight . The food was superb and served hot with excellent quality. The staff were very attentive without pestering you while eating which is something I really appreciated. Would definitely recommend a visit to this friendly restaurant and we will undoubtedly be returning soon .

Had the buffet option in the evening. It’s great because you can try a lot of different things. Also a whole veggie menu. We had 7 starters and 4 mains between the 2 of us. Good size potions and left a good amount of full.

We missed “home cooked food”and was hunting for one close to home and we found Tang’s after few attempts. When they served me and I looked at the texture of the rice and I know this is the right one! 1. Their ginger chicken with rice and vegetable soup for lunch are super good and almost 100% close to our home cooked food. Highly recommended!

Location is the hotel’s strongest asset—right on West Quay Road, it offers stunning views of the harbour and is within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and the cruise terminal. The iconic glass atrium adds a touch of grandeur upon arrival. The room was clean and comfortable, with good sleep quality and decent amenities. I appreciated the spacious layout and the quiet atmosphere.

Lovely hotel and we will continue to come back again. We got a room upgrade which was amazing. Such a brilliant choice for breakfast, the only hing missing was fried bread. The taxi package included to our cruise ship was excellent, Brilliant driver who was really helpful

Stayed here on the 4th October 2025 for one night. We stayed in Room 347. Absolutely perfect, massive comfy bed, really powerfull shower and lots of extras (free bottled water coffee machine etc etc) The view of the docks/harbour was wonderful, always something to watch. Great breakfast with every taste catered for. The staff were all polite and helpful and the hotel facilities were great. The location could not of been more perfect. Nothing not to like and would absolutely stay here again, and recommend to Family and Friends.

Bright, clean and spacious rooms in this excellent hotel. Close to cruise terminals and Southampton town centre. Breakfast is buffet style and has ample choice. Likewise, the bar has a good selection of drinks and the bar staff we encountered were friendly, polite and efficient, as they were throughout the hotel. A bonus for us Guinness drinkers is that they take pride in looking after the stout and do a proper pour.

Having been to many Leonardo Hotels this one is definitely worth it. Very helpful and welcoming staff. Clean and tidy hotel. Having just booked a standard king room this was better then I thought. Would definitely be returning

We're very happy with our precious room and early check-in and Ms. Nadia made our check-in smoothly and quickly. She was very helpful and knowledgeable. On our first time she went above and beyond to make sure that we're comfortable. On our second time staying with them she made us feel so special with the executive suite room upgrade. She's an amazing person and professional. We really need more people like her. Thank you Ms. Nadia! We are Grateful for everything... We highly recommend this hotel and you will never disappointed period.

Arrived at the hotel on Sunday at 1.30pm although checking states 3pm I thought there was no harm in asking and also registering my car in the car park. Room wasn't available, and was told to come back at 3pm to check in. At 3pm I was told 15 more minutes As waiting on house keeping. As I waited more people Arrived including a coach party, some of these guests were checked into rooms, others were told to wait and by overhearing accents could have travelled quite far! At 3.15pm I waited in line again, it took around 15 minutes and 3 members of staff to try and find a room... apparently a new system was installed which they were still figuring out how to use. Eventually completed check in. The room was adequate, with a few maintenence fixes it would be great: 1. Door was hard to push open. 2. Changing rooms were closed Didn't use the pool Jacuzzi was closed

Lovely large rooms in a very modern hotel; clean, with particularly pleasant amenities (soaps, tea, coffee) and a particularly beautiful location at the harbour. The staff were helpful and friendly. Vita - at reception - was exceptional; she went out of her way to make all the arrangements we could possibly need (such as dinner, breakfast, and transportation) including some that we hadn’t even considered.

Booked a 1 night stay on the 26th of September 2025. We were going on a luxury Cruise the following day so thought we would start our holiday in style by booking this 5 star hotel. Unfortunately the service that we encountered was shocking. Frosty Receptionist upon checking in then an £50 extra applied to booking with no explanation. We were told we had a complimentary Gin & Tonic in our room and ice & lemon would be sent up. Room was great very large with living area and huge bed & balcony we could see the Cruise ships at the Port & great views of the boats on the Marina. We went to explore Southampton & had a meal & drinks. Came back to room still no ice or lemon and I had to chase up Reception after 40 mins to ask where the milk was for a cup of tea. We had the complimentary Gin & a bottle of tonic from the fridge. Upon checking out it was explained by another member of staff what the extra £50 charge was. We paid £469 for our room no breakfast and £19 to park. Whilst we were on our Cruise we discovered the hotel had taken an additional £3.95 from our account. After contacting them it transpires that they have charged us £3.95 for the complimentary Tonic that accompanied the complimentary Gin. When I contacted to challenge this asking " why offer complimentary Gin & Tonic if both aren't complimentary?" I was met with silence.... Are we supposed to drink neat Gin with no Tonic? I've seriously had better service and value for money at a Premier Inn. We have a couple more luxury Cruises booked from Southampton but we certainly won't be staying or recommending this hotel again. I've looked at other reviews and my thoughts also echo alot of others. The manager I've noticed replies with a nice response apologising but no offer to put things right. Save your money and book elsewhere definitely isint 5 stars.

2 night stay, 2 rooms (509 & 510) for 3 guests. Rooms were great, fabulous 400 thread count bed sheets. Huge bed. Beautifully clean & well appointed fresh rooms. We dined on the 6th floor night one, great food, service and cocktails 🍸 We each had a treatment, all of which were excellent. Breakfast was great also. All staff members we interacted with were professional, friendly and super helpful. Only criticism, the robes, whilst perfectly clean, felt a little tired and could be updated.

I was invited to Southampton Harbour Hotel to attend a business dinner and it was a pleasant experience overall. The ambience was elegant and well designed, creating a sophisticated setting for the evening. The service stood out to me, as the staff were attentive and professional throughout the event. The food, however, was quite average and did not match the high expectations set by the atmosphere of the place. While it wasn’t bad, it didn’t leave a lasting impression either. Overall, it’s a nice venue with great service, ideal for formal gatherings or special occasions.

Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Price. My partner and I stayed at this hotel over the weekend to celebrate his 40th birthday, and unfortunately we left feeling very underwhelmed. Before our visit, I phoned ahead to ask if we could access the room a little earlier so we could store a cake and balloons ahead of celebrations that evening at the Harbar. Despite being told this would be possible, when we arrived the reception staff were abrupt and dismissive, telling us it wasn’t hotel policy. When we checked in, the receptionist spoke so quickly over the noise of other guests that it was difficult to understand her, and she seemed rushed and uninterested. We were also oddly told that the phone lines were down and that room cards couldn’t go near “any tech.” very strange. The “cosy balcony” room was very small and overlooked a block of flats rather than the marina view we had expected. The robes were rough, and despite emailing in advance about my partner’s birthday, nothing at all had been arranged – not even a small gesture like chocolates, which I would have expected given the price of the room at over £400. On the positive side, we did have a pleasant evening celebrating with friends, and Robyn was very helpful in accommodating our party. However, even that was marred when some of our allocated tables were given away mid-celebration, and the birthday props we’d brought (such as photo props) were taken away and binned without my consent. We also requested a late checkout, but this was pointless – the cleaning staff across the hall ( the room shared a staircase and entrance with another room) were incredibly loud, blasting music and letting doors bang constantly. So much for a relaxing morning. To top it off, the in-room breakfast (which wasn't included in the £400!) was hugely overpriced, bland, and disappointing: no pastries, no fruit, and just a single slice of toast – with no proper space in the room to sit and eat it. Overall, this stay was not worth the money. We expected a special and memorable experience for such an important celebration but left feeling let down and disappointed.

Only popped in for my wife to use the toilet and stayed for a bite of lunch up on the 6th floor. The staff are super friendly, the food was good, hotel prices, and the view stunning. If I were looking for a hotel in Southampton this would be my first on the list. Thank you to the kind staff for looking after us.

I booked a harbor view room with balcony that can only be accessed by a very steep, narrow, thirteen step staircase. Brutal to access or leave with heavy baggage. There are 20 rooms like this. There will be no warning of this unless you direct book and read carefully. The spa (lap pool, sauna, steam room, hot tub) was excellent. Shower floor was quite slippery and the room temperature control seemed to operate at its choosing (this mechanical engineer just shut it off for better control). Staff was excellent. Great location, but not 5-star.

Really good place for Sunday roast! Serving was good. And food was great! Dessert was also really nice especially the vanilla cheesecake. Good ambience in the middle of Oxford Street. Family friendly too.

This place is absolutely breathtaking! As soon as our party of five stepped inside, we were welcomed with warm, friendly smiles that set the tone for an unforgettable meal. The garlic bread was a revelation—perfectly brushed with garlic and an indulgent amount of butter—it was simple yet utterly divine! Then came the cauliflower appetizer, which blew us away with its vibrant medley of flavors, thanks to the tangy pickled red onions and rich tahini sauce. We simply couldn’t get enough of it! The pastas and burgers were just as mouth-watering. But the real star of the show was the special fish of the day, which whisked me away to the sun-soaked Mediterranean coast! This exquisite white fish was delicately seasoned with fragrant olive oil, zesty capers, and a splash of lemon—a true culinary masterpiece. To cap off our feast, I indulged in the pistachio tiramisu—creamy with hints of cocoa and rich espresso-soaked ladyfingers, all topped with a heavenly dusting of pistachios. The Olive Tree is an absolute gem in Southampton, and I can’t wait to return!

Hands down the best seafood pasta I’ve ever had. The pasta was spot on, the prawns and mussels were super fresh, and the sauce was full of flavour without overpowering the seafood. You could tell the chef really knows their stuff everything was cooked with real care. Absolutely delicious. Compliments to the chef!

We have come here a few times for Sunday lunch and the service has always been great, they always take time to speak to my daughter, they are very family friendly. Would definitely recommend for Sunday lunch!

The skewers were fresh and delicious and pricing really good. It was a beautiful pub and dog friendly. However the pork belly was overcooked and served with butter knives, so my granddad found it difficult to cut. The female bathrooms were also really run down, and there wasn’t even a lock on the stall.

Booked for myself and friend for Sunday roast before cinema trip. Great service from start to finish (Terry) was excellent. I’m quite a fussy person and nothing was to much bother (sometimes when ordering staff can roll eyes and judge) not here but definitely have had this in past. Food was excellent highly recommend roast beef and fudge brownie. Yummy.

It was so cosy after our cold walk. We loved the menu allowing us to have a Sunday roast or a good variety of other menu choices. All the food was excellent quality and Luke our server was really friendly and helpful. We couldn’t have asked for better service. We only wish you had rooms to rent too as we visit frequently to visit our son at university. We will definitely return and couldn’t recommend the pub/restaurant more highly.

My friend had soup of the day which she loved, chicken, bacon and avocado salad was okay. Chicken slightly overcooked and charred. Luke our server did ask if everything was okay but I'm too polite. It was okay but could have been better. Nice meeting place for friends. Luke was lovely. Very attentive and professional. It was his last day and I'm sure he will be missed. Reasonably priced.

Decent Sunday roast, our servers were very friendly and helpful and would probably go again! There’s a few parking spaces outside and when you go in you enter your reg into a machine to make sure you aren’t charged.

Had an amazing day learning the intricacies of brewing as part of celebrations within the family. Met Kiran, the most amazing head brewer at BK Highfield, with an even more amazing journey. The science behind this is mind blowing and Kiran made this such a fun experience. Such an attentive and welcoming team, amazing food throughout the day and such a fabulous experience and tasting day. Who knew Kiran, your tropical IPA made such an amazing sourdough. Definitely coming again soon. Well worth the £95, with all the extras and tastings you get.

We had our first lunch at Bill's today. Was absolutely delicious 😋 I had Eggs Benedict & Chips and my partner had Steak, Eggs & Chips. The atmosphere was some comforting and homely, so much decoration to look at on the walls. We were both very satisfied with our meals and we had the most wonderful server Madison. Quick service, food was out really quickly and plates taken away quick and efficient after we'd finished eating. She checked if we needed anything twice, once before our meal and again during to make sure everything was okay, great customer service ☺️ Definitely had a great experience, will definitely return soon. A must to visit!!! Bills Southampton is amazing… from the food to the service and atmosphere all tick the boxes… will definitely be returning their Mac and cheese and corn ribs are to die for… staff are lovely and friendly and nothing is too much trouble… it was our wedding anniversary and we got a dessert on the house which was a lovely touching thing to do… we also received our meal but no drinks ( although we did have water) and when we said we were waiting for a drink they couldn’t get us ours drinks quick enough and took them off the bill which was not necessary but nice to show they appreciate their customer service.. burgers are amazing all round thoroughly enjoyed our visit and a wonderful start to our holiday

Overall, today's (August 2025) meal was good but there was room for improvement. My wife asked for her eggs to be lightly poached (runny). We both later said we noticed the waitress didn't write that down and when the dish arrived, the eggs were solid. The waitress was friendly and efficient. I disliked the 12.5% service charge, although it was optional. My burger was cooked to perfection and I liked the rosemary salted fries.

Kayleigh was very polite and courteous, prompt and efficient service by her and the team at Bills. Coconut latte was the best and I loved the vegan bacon, and the biscoff pancakes! Sam was welcoming from the moment we walked in and so friendly, with a great energy. When I asked for a smaller portion of something, Sam made this happen, thank you Sam and Kayleigh :)

Stopped for brunch and we both ordered the Bill’s Big Brunch. Unfortunately, it was the worst big brunch I have had. The egg was completely burnt on one side and the potatoes were chewy, bacon crumbled apart with a fork — not great when you’re expecting a freshly cooked, tasty breakfast. Service was great and the place has a nice atmosphere, but the food really let it down.

For the past 3 years I’ve been enjoying my visits to Bills simply because the staff are super friendly and welcoming the managers are always on top of things weather you have a booking or not you still great treated with class. The menu is absolutely mouth watering leaving you with a wide variety of options to choose from. The environment is family friendly and enjoyable. My favourite go to place

Great location and atmosphere! Perfect for a pre-cruise dinner. We were welcomed and seated warmly. At first our food wasn’t quite hot enough (yes we’re picky…and middle age, verging on old age) but the Rock Star Manager, Samuel, quickly made everything right…and then some. He has a perfect personality for his role. I hope Bill’s Restaurant and Bar recognize what a gem they have with this young man managing this restaurant.

I have had a couple of average-bad experiences here, however on my trip on 16th March 2025, myself and my girlfriend had a wonderful experience. We had wine and some cocktails, as well as some tapas food and it was all delightful. The server, Daniel was so lovely and friendly, and made us feel so comfortable. This might have been my last time coming here, but Daniel has redeemed All Bar One for me. Up the Orient!

I went in recently and was served by Aaron, and I have to say, he was great. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure I had everything I needed. He suggested a drink that turned out to be perfect for me, and you could tell he really knew his stuff. The vibe he created at the bar was relaxed and welcoming. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d definitely look forward to being served by him again. I hope he’s single too…

Decent crowd but the drinks were always topped up and the food was pretty decent. I actually don't get why Instagram dunks on All Bar One all the time, this might be the most well tended-to we've been on a bottomless brunch. Adam was a great host and we firmly believe he deserves a raise. Shout out to the chicken Milanese for having a world-class level of crunch.

7 of enjoyed a Cocktail Masterclass as part of a day of special birthday celebrations. Our host Ellie was really great and looked after us well. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone who enjoys cocktails. We stayed in All Bar One for another couple of hours after our event - we were so “at home”!!!!

Went yesterday. Asked if they had table for 2. Was told by a happy waitress yes there were two. She pointed to one nearby and said other was round other side in corner. Did not take us to table. We sat at our table for 20mins. No one came for drinks order or food order. We noticed a few meals being returned for being cold or not right. We left!!

As someone who live a mainly carnivore lifestyle for optimal health, I was very impressed that they were very accommodating to my request for no seed oils, no carbs. All fried in butter and removed the usual processed sauces from the steak tartare. Only a few shallots and gherkins that I could tolerate as a one off. Will definitely be back for more meat.

This was an amazing meal! We had the mixed grill platter to share! Amazing size! And the taste was simply incredible! Definetely recommend! This was a last meal out just the two of us! Next month will be 3 ♥️

Unfortunately i did not enjoy my experience here. I went with a big group to celebrate a birthday and there seemed to be some sort of mix up with the food? I dont think it was anything major as i know that the person who was talking to the servers about it was a bit rude, however it was still a bit dissapointing. I ordered the butternut squash and ricotta ravioli and it was disgusting. Im not sure if it was a one off thing and just bad luck as i was the only one who ordered this, but the pasta was hard (not completely undercooked but harder than it should be) and the inside was also hard. Not only that but the sauce it was put in was horrid and completely submerged the ravioli. It tasted sour like uncooked sauce or tomato paste, I could not eat it. This was a shame as I was looking forward to it aswell. Adding onto this, the calamari for startes was so hard to bite, i had to stretch it so far and i built up so much tension that all the batter came flying off. Even in my mouth i could not break it apart and i had to spit it out. Many others also complained about their food, claiming it was not worth the price and that the meat at times was impossible to cut, the vegetables were average, and the yorkshire pudding was tasteless. The ribs for starters were very nice though and very tender. The service was alright although after the mix up the servers seemed to avoid us and did not seem happy ( I cant blame them too much). The place is relatively small from what i could see and the tables felt quite cramped. Other tables also had problems which made the experience even worse. Maybe we were really unlucky, but i will not be coming back here again.

Supposedly the best steak in Southampton. Ordered medium rare , steak came well done meat was tough , im not sure how a ribeye gets tough but these guys succeeded.

I went for the first time today I. Southampton and really loved the place. I sat down in their small garden as it was a nice sunny day and had some drinks plus some of their selections from their tapas. The drinks and food came out promptly and was really tasty. You can either order by the bar or through their app. I am never one to give a 3 start on service however throughout my meal not one of the people working came by to ask if everything was alright and if it was any problems(to clarify it was no problems but this would have given the service a better star and a better costumer service experience) I will come back and will recommend Trago Lounge to my friends.

First visit today, very busy when we arrived for lunch. Recommended by our Granddaughter. Ordered food and drinks at our table. This was easy to do. What I liked was the fact you could make additions or changes to the drink or meals. Drinks for example with or without ice. A cheeseburger, items not required for example, no onions or other options. Ordering made simple. Despite the restaurant being almost full, our food and drinks arrived very quickly. Booked a table for 4 on a Saturday to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Wonderful service from since we arrived until we left! The whole team made all the efforts to provide us with a wonderful experience and couldn’t be more perfect! Danielle, Leticia and Amos made our evening an absolute dream. Chefs cooked dishes to perfection, fast and delicious! Wonderful ambience and fantastic location! Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

TLDR.. Great service, lovely veggie options and well catered to gluten allergies and clean toilets, drinks a bit pricey. Great restaurant, we received the kind of service your expect from a non chain local Italian restaurant, primarily a meat eater I tried a veggie dinner for a change, I went with the set menu (starter main and dessert)... Vegan starter, and veggie main and dessert. All tasty and well presented. My partner and I had 4 alcoholic drinks all very nice, the one critisizm which I have (like many places) drinks are expensive but it's expected to be honest. My partner is gluten intolerant but they took the intolerance seriously, the same as a serious allergy, her menu options were great and plenty, surprisingly better here at an Italian than most other places! We didn't feel like we waited too long for any course and were asked each time of we were ready for the next. The toilets were clean and stocked, smelled clean too which is always a positive, can't speak for the ladies though. Staff were tentative and talkative. Making sure we were happy and comfortable. 2 large tables attending but nothing crazy happening so all under control... As a whole a very nice atmosphere, we enjoyed our dinner date.

Lovely evening meal. 3 vegans happily fed, + 1 omnivore so completely full and satisfied. Had the Raspberry Collins vegan cheesecake - the best!! Enjoyed the aubergine meatball rustic pizza. Had the rainbow lasagna ordered as well, really tasty.

First time visiting Zizzi in Southampton and it was a very nice experience. We were offered a choice of where to sit (it wasn't busy when we arrived) and were given a little time to peruse the menu. Angharad took our order after a little chat about food choices. The drinks came quickly and the starters followed soon after. The Chorizo and Mozzarella Bombe was lovely as was the Mushroom Brindisi. The mains were so good. We had the 2 Carbonaras and were very impressed. Puddings of Dragon Fruit and Strawberry Sundae and the Salted Caramel Chocolate Brownie were the perfect end to a lovely meal. The staff were all very friendly and coped well as it got a lot busier. Angharad was very polite and friendly and we had a nice chat with her at the end of our meal. Would thoroughly recommend a visit if you're in the city and enjoy Italian food done well at a good price

A place that understands that vegans want dirty food. They have healthy options too, but man, you have to try the all-day breakfast burrito. Great coffee and cakes too. Very chilled atmosphere, very friendly staff. We don't live close but always make sure to make the trip when we're in the area.

What I found there today is beyond human understanding. I ordered Dragon Protein Bowl on the spot. There was so much food, so filling and delicious, that they had to pack half of it for me to take away. It was my first time in this place, but it certainly won't be the last.

A Charming Boutique Stay with a Few Minor Hiccups I recently stayed at The Pig – in the Wall during a short business trip to Southampton, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. This charming boutique hotel offers a cozy, rustic atmosphere combined with modern comfort, making it an ideal retreat after a long day of meetings. From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm and welcoming, ensuring a smooth check-in. My room was beautifully decorated with vintage touches, a comfortable bed, and a well-stocked larder, which was a delightful surprise. The attention to detail in the design really makes this hotel feel special. One of the highlights of my stay was the food. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, with locally sourced ingredients that added to the charm of the place. While the hotel doesn’t have a full restaurant, the deli offers tasty small plates, and the sister hotel, The Pig in the Forest, is just a short drive away if you’re looking for a more extensive dining experience. The location is another plus – nestled within Southampton’s medieval walls, it’s perfect for exploring the city or catching a ferry to the Isle of Wight. Despite being central, the hotel maintains a peaceful and intimate atmosphere. The only reason I’m giving 4.5 stars instead of 5 is that the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty at times, which was slightly inconvenient since I needed to get some work done. Additionally, while the rustic charm is lovely, the lighting in my room was quite dim, making it a little difficult to work comfortably in the evenings. That being said, The Pig – in the Wall is a wonderful place to stay, blending history, comfort, and great service. I would absolutely return – though next time, I might bring a small desk lamp!

The staff at this hotel are terrific and the service is excellent. I was disappointed by our attic room which was accessed by an extremely steep staircase. Sorry but, I do not think this room is suitable to be used as a bedroom. The hotel is extremely convenient for all the waterfront venues and sitting at tables outside is very pleasant. Other than the room issue, our stay was very pleasant.

Stayed 2 nights here before it cruise and so happy with the choice. Absolutely lovely staff, amazing breakfast (not included), and a great room full of character and charm. When I compare it with the lifeless looking hotels around here this is the best pick. Superb location for trying to the cruise ship and restaurants and the old town too.

We had a great pre-cruise stay at the picture perfect inn. If you are a foodie this place is for you - I fell asleep and missed dinner but the breakfast was a delight - all fresh and local products. We had a room facing the street but it was very quiet. The decor was unique and the room itself was spacious with a large bathroom. Hoping to return if we cruise from Southampton again!

I came in for lunch and the food was really nice.The waiter was really attentive and friendly from the moment i got there to the moment i left. 5 stars for his service (male waiter didn’t get his name) - will come back again soon :)

We popped in for a light lunch in hot weather. Your waitress who was new was more interested in talking about herself than in taking our order and getting it right. I was very surprised to find 3 cigarette stubs in the plant on our table and more surprised that none of you noticed them during our visit. My friend asked for slimline tonic and got normal, I asked for my salad without the dressing and could I just have a plain vinaigrette. It arrived with the dressing, no one came to check our orders were okay so I had to bring it in and ask for a new one. It came back plain, when I asked about the vinaigrette they said they didn't have any - seriously oil and vinegar?? The food was nice and the location is excellent. It's not cheap so it's a shame there were a few issues.

Came here for a work trip and really lovely staff. Hotel is so nice in a cottage core vibe. Really enjoyed the dinner here and would love to come back stay another time!

Absolutely excellent pizza! The crust is perfectly made—crispy on the outside, soft on the inside—and everything tastes fresh. The owner is super friendly and welcoming, which really adds to the experience. On top of that, the prices are great. This place is a gem—highly recommend!

It's a pizza thing could quite be one of my best pizza related experiences to date and I'm half Italian so I know a winner when I taste one. Belinda and Andy are both lovely and full of banter that will put a smile on your face as well as the food they serve. 100% recommended 👌.

Great pizza van situated outside the pub front on most Wednesday Thursday and Friday evenings. Great selection of pizzas, all homemade in front of you in the wood fired oven and make sure you get the garlic drizzle on top. 😍 Each pizza is around &10, can't go wrong. They're so damn good and a lovely couple running the show. And even better you can eat them in the pub over a pint.

Ridiculously good! It's such a treat to have freshly made, highly quality, super tasty pizzas handed straight to you from the lovely folks who run the place. I had The Chorizo pizza and The Veggie pizza with jalapeños, both were equally amazing. The pizza itself has a very thin base and a nice, crispy crust. Just the way I like it! If you can live with the immense guilt of eating too many calories, the Garlic butter and Chilli Oil topping is 100% recommended. Both at once... if you dare... 😁 I'll be honest... Based on all the photos, I went to this place expecting an eat-in restaurant, but it's actually all made in a van! No worries though, since you can take the pizza in the Southwestern Arms pub and enjoy it with a drink, if you like. They actually have decent options for vegetarians and vegans which is awesome! They could probably benefit from adding more information on their website, but for now, I've attached an updated menu.

Very good pizzas. The pizza thin bases were delicious especially liked the cheesy. The calzone was also very good. This place is not in your normal type, don't judge a book by its location or drive to get to it. Would definitely go back again.

Loved the pizza van when it was by the South Western. This is even better! Great beer, great prices. If I had to complain at all, its simply that there aren't enough vegan options, but there's plenty of veggie and they do have vegan cheese!

Can't fault this lovely, friendly team. Pizzas are lovely, service is friendly and they are very accommodate. First class
