Ordered lunch set with 2 types of mochi. Zundan and Azuki. Food is absolutely amazing!!! Loved it!!! My friend who didn't like mochi fell in love. We even took other flavors as take aways. But the service was just as other review say 👎(regardless of how many dishes you ordered)

Yummy mochi restaurant. Ordered the walnut, natto and soup mochi with vegetables and fish cake slices. I really like the walnut mochi, which is their osusume (recommendation). Place is small but cosy and service was efficient. It was almost full when I went.

Ruined mochi anywhere else for me forever! Kurumi and kinako were so good. Lovely service by sweet obachans who gave us an English menu ❤️

If I could rate it 10 stars, I would. We got a set of soup with lots of vegetables and 3 rice cakes (shoju flavour), which was delicious by itself. But also the set included pickled cucumbers, and two half-portions of two types of mochi. Zunda mochi with edamame beans is marked as Yamagata speciality, while walnut mochi marked as recommended. Azuki beans mochi were great too, not overly sweet. All three types are out of this world and cannot be compared to store bought. I would visit again!
