Bakery
Icing on the Cake is a renowned gourmet bakery that has been serving artisanal cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and other delectable desserts since 1985. With over 30 years of experience, this bakery is known for creating beautiful and delicious baked goods for both everyday indulgence and special occasions. Their offerings include a wide variety of options such as cookies, pies, original creations, and traditional wedding cakes.
I had such a fantastic experience with this bakery! My wonderful coworker has been gluten free for many years, and I discovered this amazing bakery and the ladies working there were so kind and patient with helping me order the perfect cake. The most delicious cake I’ve ever had! Their banana bread with chocolate frosting cake is amazing, it blew all of our minds. A small slice of the cake keeps you full, and their 6 inch cake fed about 10 people. I will definitely be ordering her cake from this place again next year!

I’ve ordered two cakes from this bakery over the past six months—one for my private ceremony in May and another for my wedding reception on Halloween—and I can confidently say I’ll never go anywhere else. Both cakes far exceeded my expectations in every way. The tiered reception cake was absolutely stunning—I almost didn’t want to cut into it because it looked so perfect! And the flavor? Incredible. The red velvet was one of the best we’ve ever had. Honestly, everything I’ve tried from this bakery has been delicious. We’re officially loyal customers for life!
Katelynn G — Google review
The moment you stepped into the bakery you will feel the temperature controlled environment that ensures the best quality desserts are being sold here. This banana walnut loaf is only second to what I taste in Hawaii. But personally Hawaii is on a different realm of experiences. So this is top tier in the Bay Area.
Jack L — Google review
They have really delicious pastries! I especially love the carrot cake and pecan pie. Service at the counter is quick, and everything is served fresh. My uncle and I went earlier in the day, which I highly recommend!

My husband discovered this place a couple of weeks ago while searching for gluten-free cakes—and we’re so glad he did! The staff were incredibly friendly, took the time to explain every component in detail, and you can tell they genuinely care about what they do. That passion really comes through in the cake itself. Hands down, one of the best-tasting chocolate cakes I’ve ever had. All our friends loved it too! This will definitely become our new go-to spot. They have been around since 1985 and I wish to see them for another 50 & more
Kavya R — Google review
Purchased a banana with cheese cake icing on top birthday cake 🎂 for my four year daughter. Everyone enjoyed it so much. I also purchased a few other pastries including the carrot cake cupcake, peanut butter pie and the cherry chunk cookie. It is worth the prices and the staff are super friendly. Highly recommend if you need cakes/pastries.
Armando M — Google review
The banana cupcake is easily one of the best cupcakes I've ever had. It hits all the right notes and the cake batter is perfectly moist and fluffy throughout with a hint of banana. That cream cheese icing though--so decadent it should be illegal. I'm so glad I that I need to bike the Los Gatos Trail 8 miles to get here. Now, I don't feel as guilty. 🧁
Jane L — Google review
Many people remarked that they enjoyed the cupcakes! I heard the word moist a lot. The service was excellent and the cupcakes came out looking great! It was for a baby boy's shower and they were able to mix blue in with the chocolate for the icing swirl.

The rich desserts and cakes are popular for special occasions like birthdays and intimate weddings. Located in Los Gatos, the shop offers a wide variety of baking products made with love and premium ingredients. Just mind blowing selection of pastries and fancy desserts! I’ve been several times to this place and the owner is always there, very friendly and thoughtful. There are several tables indoors and large outdoor seating area. Cappuccino was amazing! Latte was a bit overheated and flat.
Olga L — Google review
Amazing little French bakery In downtown Los Gatos. A little on the pricey side, But I think worth the experience. I wanted to try one of everything. Some of the pastries look like artwork. Little bit of seating inside however more outside... great ambience. I'd like to know what kind of espresso they use because it was very smooth. When outside of the norm and tried the Cinnabear (A cinnamon and honey latte).
Shawn M — Google review
Swiss Brioche was outstanding. I arrived mid-morning on a Sunday. Next time I'll get there earlier for a wider selection! Pastries are pricey, but delicious.
Allison V — Google review
De Fleur Cocoa completely exceeded our expectations! We tried three different pastries, and almost all of them were absolutely delicious. The chocolate kouign amann was buttery and flaky, and the chocolate pastry practically melted in our mouths. The bakery itself feels cozy and charming, like a little corner of Paris, and the staff were warm and welcoming. Definitely a must-visit if you’re in the area—we’ll be coming back for more!
M Z — Google review
All pastries looked delicious! We tried the chocolate tart and it was so dense and had three different layers of chocolate that made it so tasty. I would go just for this pastry again and can’t wait to try others. The cappuccino we got was also great. Limited seating inside but there is more outside.
Nidhi B — Google review
Plenty of outdoor seats, perfect place for relaxing in a holiday afternoon with sunny weather and warm breeze. The pastries are all dedicatedly designed, really lovely. Ordered the Cloud cake, the sweetness is a little strong and the banana tastes a bit sour.
YI W — Google review
Their cakes are divine! Went there last week to pick up a cake for a bestie's bday lunch and purchased one and the kind French woman (assuming she's the owner) let me know that it was frozen and would need a few hours to defrost, and i needed it immediately. I asked if I could return it and get the individual cakes, which were not frozen, and she was like totally. That was truly sweet of her to let me know and the individual ones didn't disappoint either! Pic attached. Also pic of my hubby's bday cake from last month. Amazing!!

Absolutely delightful! I had the best croissant and authentic French-style bread at Fleur de Cocoa. Flaky, buttery perfection that melts in your mouth this place is a hidden gem in Los Gatos!

Breakfast restaurant
Los Gatos Cafe is a popular spot in the bustling downtown district of Los Gatos, California. This charming eatery specializes in classic breakfast and lunch offerings, featuring a variety of omelets, scrambles, and freshly baked goods. The downtown area where it's located is known for its vibrant atmosphere with numerous shops, restaurants, and entertainment options. The cafe opens early at 6 AM until 3 PM daily to cater to locals and visitors alike.
TLDR: It's a beautiful brunch place with great food, amazing service and an oldish diner atmosphere. 5 on 5 from us. Long Review: We've been coming here for almost 3 years now and we usually do it once every couple of months or so. Food: We've tried all couple of items before we settled on our now usual order. Food quality and portions are really good. The omelets and Benedicts are delectable and so light and airy. It shows that they take pride in their work. The Herb Avocado and Chicken sandwich is just perfect, I personally prefer crispy over grilled but I make an exception here. Topping brunch off with a raspberry coffee cake and trust me you should try it. It pairs perfectly with a latte or a black coffee. Service: It's usually a busy place, We've always had to wait for a bit to get a table but they have benches outside so you can wait. Staff is nice and friendly and ready to help! Atmosphere: Feels like an old diner and has a charm to it. All in all, We've been here way too many times and will keep coming here.

Highly recommend for breakfast. Even though there was a lot of people crowded in the front, our party of 4 got seated very quickly. The menu has a variety of savory or sweet selections. I especially like that a bakery item is included with most dishes.
Laurel C — Google review
We came down to Los Gatos for the day and started out with breakfast at the Los Gatos Café. Service was super friendly and quick. Food was delicious and there were lots of things on the menu to choose from. We’ll definitely come here again.
Virginia H — Google review
We've been here as well as the uptown location so many times over the years. Food has always been very good and consistent, especially the crab omelet 😋. The restaurant is tight, but cozy. It's always busy on the weekends. Love the service there as everyone is very friendly and helpful.
Hanna L — Google review
Excellent place to eat! Fantastic menu. I ordered crab cake Benedict and they were out of this world delicious. They came with the best fried potatoes I’ve ever had. Nice and crispy and large portion. The plate was full of food and looked delicious before even taking a bite. See picture. The hostess kept my coffee cup full and was attentive. The whole place was clean and fresh air flowing through. Plenty of street parking for our weekday 8 am meet up. Prices were very reasonable and I was surprised at the great value when I saw the menu. Highly recommended. I look forward to coming again.
Clay F — Google review
We like their breakfast. Enough portion for us. Easy street parking on weekdays. It will be crowded on weekends.

This place gets redifined expectations rating. Exceptional food, fast service, waiters always refill coffee in time. Plenty of parking across the road
Nik — Google review
The savory vegetables pancake was sooo good. The carrot walnut cake was super yum too. I did not like the Copenhagen pancakes as much it felt too soggy and sweet because of the filling. But all the dishes that were ordered by my friends were super good as well. It is a little congested space wise if you go with a large group. But they also have outdoor seating which is more spacious.

Southern Kitchen Los Gatos is a beloved family-owned restaurant located in downtown Los Gatos, offering generous portions of classic American dishes in a warm and cozy setting. Known for its popular brunch menu, the restaurant serves up fluffy rolled omelets, crispy fried chicken, and smoked salmon and eggs. Despite its no-reservations policy and weekend crowds, Southern Kitchen's homely atmosphere continues to attract locals and visitors alike.
Sunday breakfast dine-in :(~ 7 am) - Walk-in, got seated immediately(went before their busy time), such a lovely vibe inside and out. The place was reasonably priced. Pro-tip: Walk across the street, to stroll on Los Gatos creek trail next to water stream after breakfast, stay healthy. - Ordered Banana Nutella (Churro) Waffle, replaced the Churro waffle with a regular one - The waffle was perfect, not soggy, the bananas were fresh and they didn’t overdo the Nutella. Comes with a hot syrup on the side, great combo, makes the waffle less dry and tasty. I needed an extra of syrup, provided at not extra cost. - They don’t have freshly squeezed regular fruit juice which was a bummer. They have ‘Juiced’ combo vegetable and fruit juices if you’re interested.

Breakfast at this spot was absolutely fantastic! The food arrived in no time and was delicious, and the friendly staff made us feel right at home. I couldn't have asked for a more welcoming atmosphere to start the day!
Myla C — Google review
The grilled chicken omelette with potatoes was delicious, and their coffee cake was simply divine. The friendly servers and the pleasant outdoor seating made for a great brunch experience.
Nabil A — Google review
Wow what an absolutely incredible brunch. The Bloody Mary and Irish Coffee were both awesome. The Irish Benedict had real corned beef that was absolutely delicious and tender. Pancakes were awesome and the shrimp and grits were addicting. Friendly staff made this one of the most enjoyable meals in a long time. Will absolutely be back soon.
Ryan O — Google review
My recent brunch experience here had its highs and lows. Initially, the host seemed a bit indifferent, calling out waiting parties' names so softly that it was nearly impossible to hear. However, once seated, our waiter was a delight - exceptionally friendly and accommodating, which helped improve the overall atmosphere. Although the patio boasted a charming ambiance, the absence of heaters left us shivering throughout our meal, somewhat diminishing the enjoyment. It was disappointing to have such a lovely setting compromised by the lack of temperature control. Regarding the food, it was decent overall. While everything tasted good, my hamburger had an odd texture that was somewhat off-putting. It's always a shame when one dish doesn't quite hit the mark, especially in an otherwise enjoyable meal. In summary, Southern Kitchen Los Gatos offers both positives and negatives. While the friendly service from our waiter and the pleasant patio ambiance were highlights, there were drawbacks such as poor communication from the host and inadequate heating. If you're willing to overlook these flaws in favor of decent food and enjoyable service, it might be worth a try. However, if these aspects are essential to your dining experience, you may want to explore other brunch options in the area.
Nikki A — Google review
Had the biscuits and gravy with a side of sausage. Both were a bit bland in my opinion. I do like a pretty sage heavy gravy and this was not it. Gravy had a very milk heavy flavor, nothing wrong with it just not my style. The gravy was a very uniform white as well, meaning, not much meat in the gravy and not much in the way of spices. The biscuits were fine but I found that I didn't have enough gravy to finish them out probably for the best carb wise. The sausages were very good sized, not the little tiny links you'd gat at Denny's or whatnot. However these were also somewhat bland. May need to try a different dish if I ever come back. The chicken and waffles did look good. Coffee was good. Service also pretty good.
Jason T — Google review
After reading the reviews, I decided to give it a try. This is small restaurant so you need to wait on weekends. It was said to be 35-40 minutes but in fact it was only about 20 minutes. The fried chicken is delicious, but the waffle is a bit dry, and the gravy temperature is too low, giving it a cold texture. We were sitting on the street, with people coming and going, and someone was standing behind me, I feel weird so I can't enjoy my food .
Kimberly I — Google review
Disappointing experience. Took awhile to get service. It was full but not packed. Server was friendly but we had to ask for more water. Didn't check in with us. Was looking forward to enjoying the Fried chicken. Ordered dark meat. One piece was very dry. And both had very little meat. It was mostly fried skin. Not great quality. Salads were fine. Prefer homemade dressings to bottled. Perhaps the other items are better.

The Diner of Los Gatos is a classic American eatery with a 1950s ambiance, complete with checkered floors, red ceilings, and jukeboxes. The restaurant offers breakfast platters and blue-plate specials alongside great milkshakes and hot dogs served in paper cars. It's a small but clean establishment filled with nostalgic items and good tunes. The friendly staff provides quick service, delicious food like perfectly cooked burgers and crispy fries, all at fairly reasonable prices.
if i could give this diner 5 MORE stars i would. Me and my boyfriend ate here after a long and confusing drive expecting two star diner food and were pleasantly impressed by HOW INSANELY GOOD THE FOOD IS. We shared a milkshake in this gorgeous diner, and were served quickly by our wonderful, gorgeous, sweet waitress. ITS ALMOST TOO SWEET….. Great atmosphere, Amazing vibes. Left as big of a tip as i could, and if i had the money to tip everyone working staff on 09/21/25 i would. Best food experience in a LONG time.🩷

Our breakfast was good, although not great. Service was friendly, food rated about 3. Hash browns were burned, poached eggs good and pancakes kind of rubbery. We will be back however we would appreciate some improvements!
Janice L — Google review
We were very excited to go eat at this diner but it was raining and we couldn’t dine in with our dog since the outdoor area was closed. Instead we got take out - I got the Kentucky hash and house omelet. The hash came with eggs made how you like them, grilled spinach and tomatoes, and biscuit & gravy. The gravy and biscuits were delicious, and the food was flavorful we really enjoyed it.

This classic American style diner is a staple in the Los Gatos community! Retro-style decor with ALL of the True Diner classics! You can't miss here whether it's the chicken and waffles, biscuits and gravy, or even the liver and onions! The service is fantastic, the atmosphere is fun, and the pricing is affordable! Parking is a little scarce, but don't let that stop you from popping in for an omelet on the patio on a Sunday or a blue plate special of your choice! They also serve alcohol, so grab one of their jumbo mimosas to go with it!

When we, me and my mother walked in we were greeted by staff and picked a booth to sit in. Admittedly we were given the menu’s and a couple of minutes later ordered. Within 10-15mins we received the food and were satisfied which we ordered bacon cheeseburgers, a strawberry milkshake, and fries. It was delicious and I recommend. The music was a nice touch and decor was very interesting. We will be returning soon.

As a fan of diners and the 80s vibe, this place made me happy. I enjoyed the breakfast and coffee. Got myself an eggs benedict and with bacon, link sausages, biscuits and gravy. It was loaded with cheese - best way to start your sunday! The waiters were kind too. I recommend this place for brunch or breakfast.
Vijay J — Google review
A classic old school diner with excellent food and service. They even have the old time wall juke boxes. A wonderful experience.
Steve P — Google review
My partner and I both ordered the Guacamole Burger with fries. The burger was large, thick, and juicy, the kind of burger that you have to try to unhinge your jaw in order to be able to eat it. The guacamole at first glance seemed to be thick, chunky, and generous; however, it was disappointing. It was like a thin avocado sauce with a lot of jalapeño pepper chunks in it. Had I known it was going to be like that, I would have ordered a burger with avocado on it rather than guacamole. The fries were crisp and tasty. Service was a bit slow.

Manresa Bread is a cafe in Los Altos, known for its seasonal gourmet bread and pastries. It's an offshoot of Chef David Kinch's 2-Michelin-starred restaurant, Manresa. The bakery offers a limited but high-quality selection of pastries and bread, with standout items like the must-try baguette and delicious olive ciabatta. The bright interior with high ceilings creates a welcoming atmosphere, although seating can be limited during peak hours.
This coffee shop, located in the heart of downtown Los Gatos, serves Verve Coffee, known for its rich flavor and consistently smooth finish. But the real standout here might be the bakery. Every item is baked to perfection, with a quality that rivals, and perhaps even surpasses, anything you'll find elsewhere in the Bay Area.

I really didn’t like the sausage, egg and cheese biscuit I got. The egg was a gelatinous slab and the “onion jam” made the whole thing slippery so the sandwich contents slid out. Give me a McDonald’s sausage biscuit egg any day over this mess and put the $10 saved in my pocket. Some of the other items on display looked good, but it may take some time to get over the disappointment with my first visit.

My go to place for European freshly baked bread and croissants. Whole wheat bread and Levain are amazing. I go here twice a week. They have Verve coffee. There is a small indoor seating area and a bigger outdoor seating.

Wow! My Santa Cruz sandwich was so delicious! And I complemented it with vegan (dairy-free) tomato soup! 1) Freshly-baked bread is fantastic, a perfect blend of greens including mint (love it!) but has dressing - if you’re sensitive to dressings and vinegars ask to make it without it or add little of it. 2) I loved the generous amount of greens and slight kick of jalapeños (they were not very in my sandwich, just added flavor) - ask to omit if you don’t like jalapeños. Otherwise it had hummus, cucumbers, and red onions. 3) Vegan chocolate banana bread looked good too. Because sandwich is so big and the amount of the soup too - I’ll have to come another time to try it! Thank you Manresa Bread! It’d be wonderful if you could add another one or two vegan pastries without chocolate as well!
Galina C — Google review
I really loved their bread. I tried their Monkey bread which is like a bread pudding with cinnamon and just melts in your mouth. Their butter croissant was nothing special. I had their drip coffee and it was crisp. They had some inside sitting but most of it is outside.
Vipin K — Google review
While nominally a bakery of interesting and healthy breads, this place is also a complete coffee shop with a great selection of lattes and breakfast pastries. I tried their honey bun latte and an everything Danish. The latte was pretty good and the Danish was definitely interesting - an interesting contrast between the sweet cheese filling in the middle with the salty everything bagel crust. There is a good Internet connection here and good outdoor seating with a patio. I wish the indoor seating was better, so that I could work a little inside comfortably while sipping a coffee rather than at a side wall bench. There is even a wine bar here which looks like a tempting choice later in the day 🙂 The service was good and it fun watching them doing their job, making coffees and sandwiches.

Great little bakery downtown Los Altos. The pastries 🥐 and bread 🍞 selection is limited but the quality is great. The baguette 🥖 is a must and also the olives ciabatta is delicious. There is a nice little patio outside and just a few table inside. The building is bright with very high ceilings. Coffee is also great. One note, they serve default coffee to go without asking and I didn’t see regular cups. I love to drink my coffee in ceramic cups and not paper. Also to reduce waste ♻️

Sweet Pea's Cafe & Catering is a low-key eatery in Los Gatos, serving up delicious breakfast and lunch options since 1998. The cafe prides itself on offering healthy and affordable food made with fresh ingredients. Their menu features a variety of crêpes, including gluten-free options, as well as salads, sandwiches, quiche, and catering services. Despite its small size, the cafe impresses with its high-quality homemade products like soups and sauces.
Lots of great gluten free options and tasty too! They have gluten free crepes, buckwheat crepes and gluten free bread for the sandwiches. I got the Denver omelet and a gluten free strawberry, nutella, and cream crepe. It’s a chill, laid back environment, and the staff are friendly too!

I used to love this place, have been eating here for over 15 years. I recently got a take out order after not trying this place for a while. EVERYTHING was so rubbery- the crepe was thick and rubbery, not at all how a crepe should be. The breakfast sausage was rubbery and had no flavor. The scrambled eggs were over done and again RUBBERY. I really want to support the workers here, but after paying $23 for a plate of entirely rubbery, overcooked food, I probably will not go back. Maybe it was a take out order so less attention was paid, but not sure why the quality slipped this time.

Great place for breakfast or brunch! Went there on a Saturday with friends. Good mix of sweet and savory dishes on the menu. When we began our drive down Santa Cruz Avenue, Sweet Pea was one of the first places to catch our eye. We did not opt to come here right away and instead enjoyed a stroll around downtown. Ultimately, nothing really caught our eye and well, the wait at Los Gatos Cafe was nothing short of insane so we crossed back over to Sweet Pea. It's far from a fancy joint, but it serves up some pretty tasty food. I opted to go for the Santa Fe crepe which came with thinly sliced chicken, hatch chiles, jack cheese, pico, and sour cream. I thought the crepe was delicious! It definitely would have been even better if they used grilled chicken pieces instead of sliced chicken breast like from a deli counter but that's a small detail. Dad got the chicken and artichoke but unfortunately found it a little dry. He also was a little disappointed that he didn't get the pesto cream sauce and instead also got sour cream which didn't really jive with the mix. My brother got the apple cinnamon and it was absolutely loaded. If you like apple pie filling, this will be right up your alley! Mom got a portobello sandwich on ciabiatta bread. It was a generous portobello mushroom with spinach, tomatoes, and avocado to zhush up the sandwich. It was pretty good but could have been elevated more with a little bite, maybe some balsamic vinegar. For the table we shared a basket of garlic fries. Definite kudos for the freshly fried fries. Thick cut, crispy outside, fluffy inside. Perfection. It was also tossed in a generous amount of garlic but could have used some parsley too...for color. All in all, it was a good meal. It won't blow you away with plating (you're eating off chinet plates with plastic utensils) but it was certainly pretty good and not too harsh on the wallet.

My sister, her boyfriend, and I went here on their recommendation. Once we got here, they started complaining about their past experiences to me. I started to think, why would they recommend a place that they have so many complaints about? Maybe they have a lot of love towards this place too. Like my friend is a Indianapolis Colts fan. He praises them, but also has a lot of negative things to say about them. On the other hand, I've never heard him say anything about the Indianapolis Pacers. He doesn't really care about watching basketball. Anyway, I was a little annoyed when my sister and her boyfriend started complaining. This was my first time at Sweet Peas, I wanted to make my own relationship with Sweet Peas without my perception of them being tainted from their past experiences. Maybe they were just trying to protect me and wanted to pass down their wisdom, but I need to learn those lessons myself. Anyway, I ended up enjoying my breakfast burrito from here. They might eventually let me down, but I'm willing to take that risk. Would definitely come back again!

Milohas is a Colombian bakery located at 4662 Meridian Ave in San Jose, CA. This unassuming counter-serve eatery offers a variety of pastries, ice cream, and drinks. The menu includes about 56 gluten-free pastries with sweet and savory options. One popular choice is the Pan de Yucca, a cheesy bread that's full of flavor.
My second time here. First time I got Spinach and cheese, and the chicken and potato. Delicious!! Came today, 12/2/24, I tried the Hawaiian, and the Spinach and cheese. Both excellent. Partner having the Turkey and cranberry VERY GOOD. and the chicken potato. Nice chunks of chicken. These are good sized empanadas, about 7 inches in diameter so 2 will be filling.

Cute casual small cafe specializing in empanadas. Not a lot of seating outside but there's some. Their lunch specials are a great deal. Big thing of soup a dessert a large empanada and a side salad is super filling! Empanadas are big, the crust is crispy, and the filling is super savory. Recommend the Turkey Cranberry, original beef, and any of the breakfast ones! They have a decent amount fried gluten free optionss as well. And their sweets I would recommend.

This place is simply amazing!!! Every bite is delicious. Favorites??? Everything 💕 super cozy place with excellent service. Are there more stars to give?
Bea E — Google review
They do have some outside seating, but you are not coming for the atmosphere. This is my first time here and for first timers: It is a little overwhelming. You just look at the menu on the wall or you can read the options below through the glass. They have small and large ones. It’s a very small area just order someone helps you and they close you out. I didn’t realize until after I ordered and saw someone else order. They have some fresh juices which are super good. The passionfruit was really good and very sweet. My egg empanada was a five out of five. My chicken and potato empanada was a 3.5 out of five. I would add cheese inside. It does come with two sauces. I think when you order two you should get three or four sauces because they are pretty small my empanadas were really good. I enjoyed the flavor of the egg one the best because it was really seasoned well and both empanadas had a really good crust and taste. I will come back again and try other flavors along with other juices. Just make sure you step back until you are ready to order because they are moving pretty fast and it is a small area between ordering and pick up.

Pros: yummy empanadas, good selection of food and drinks and desserts, friendly staff. Not an expert in Colombian food, but saw someone there that regularly drove two hours for the food here. Cons: no restrooms, some of the drinks are way too sweet, no indoor seating
Neda M — Google review
It has very authentic Colombian flavors and the people working there are very patient and kind explaining the cuisine and asking for food preferences so the customer gets a good experience. The desserts and natural juices are also great and exotic! They removed most of the tables a few years ago so it is more a pick up place now but still great quality food
Aura C — Google review
Although it was a bit cold (only outside covered seating!), the warm empanadas were lovely! Highly recommend trying one of the combo lunches so you can sample the offerings. I had combo #1 which had two empanadas (I chose beef and chicken/potato) with salsa, salad (I chose the Spring salad that came with a mango dressing) and a guava finger for dessert. Pastry was thin and flaky and the filling was spiced (but not spicy). Loved everything I had!

Omg!!! It literally feels like you're visiting a friend whose grandma lives with that friend & she's always cooking... yeah, that good. The service here is amazing & their food is off the hook. I've tried a few different empanada's, but my all time favorite is beef & potato. Also, I don't know what that side sauce that you get is called... but DO NOT SKIP ON THAT! It's the chef's kiss 💋

Big E Cafe is a cozy coffeehouse and empanada spot that has been serving up delicious South American empanadas since 2005. This locally owned and operated cafe takes pride in offering high-quality food, with a focus on their specialty - sweet and savory empanadas. Customers rave about the unique flavors of the empanadas, which are individually wrapped for convenience. The cafe also serves up a variety of espresso drinks to complement their tasty treats.
My granny apple and cranberry empanada was very good the best part was the crust. Sooooooooo good, HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR LOCALS AND TOURISTS. Definitely will return and try other menu options. The ladies communicate very well and make sure you get what you want. 10/10 all around ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The prices have definitely gone up since they opened. Food is very tasty, however, I notice lately they aren’t filling up the empanadas as much as before. For the price of over 7$ for a small empanada, they should be filling the inside with more of the filling.
Gabby M — Google review
We lived in San Jose for 6 years and always loved coming here. After 3 years away we came back to visit and the empanadas are just as delicious as we remember. Haven’t found a better place in LA. The pizza, the chicken cilantro and sausage egg and cheese are among my favorites.
Rosemary S — Google review
Kind of a let down but the empanadas were still OK, just not great. They are not made on site, saw the guy bringing them in from his van. They heat them up and serve but ours were not heated up in the middle. The salsa choices are terrible, nothing fresh just grocery store stuff, no lime and no chimichurri. Half the fun of eating empanadas is putting on the sauce. No bathroom. Took a surprising amount of time for them to not get our empanadas heated up. The Empanadas themselves are good, especially the traditional beef. Whoever is making them is doing her/their part but the people at the store are not serving them right.
Carl O — Google review
Empanadas are delicious but they do not offer any non-dairy **options or can ask to modify. Bummer. But still...the empanadas are tasty & a good portion size. **Thank you for the reply! I did see your other non-dairy tasty options but not for BREAKFAST. Your breakfast empanadas all have cheese. I should have been more specific. I buy them for breakfast. The other options are great for lunch (in my opinion) or if you are in the mood for chicken & spice first thing in morning.

Noah's NY Bagels is a popular chain that specializes in bagels and also offers breakfast sandwiches and pastries. The wait at the counter may be worth it as the staff has a friendly and helpful attitude, ensuring that orders are correct and efficiently moving through the small kitchen area. The 'everything bagel with lox!' is delicious, which explains why this place is always crowded. It would be beneficial if they consistently used customer names to save time during order pickups.
Really friendly staff and super good bagel sandwiches. Went by for breakfast before work, they were so quick and the place was clean and tidy. Ample parking in the strip mall it’s in.

Been hearing the rave about Noah's Bagels, so we stopped to try them this morning. Delicious Bagels, but the customer service was the worst I've seen in the Bay Area. I smiled at the young girl taking my order, she never smiled back, asked if I wanted my receipt and when I said yes acted annoyed. I thought maybe she was just having a bad day, but when the manager walked out she started talking and smiling with her. I get we all have hard days, but great customer service goes a long ways. I said to the girl, I hope your day gets better, her and her friend look at each other and laugh. Lovely way to start my morning. I Won't be back!
JENNIFER H — Google review
I really like Noah bagels but I am so disappointed lately! I ordered for garden avacado and they gave me a plain bagel without avacado in it! The coffee was sooo cold! And the food is not like cheap, I paid 9 bucks for this toast. Really very disappointed!
Rakshatha A — Google review
Bagels have started shrinking at this location, check the pic I am posting. This is not doggie bagel for real. They don’t know how to make bagels, most of them don’t have a hole in the middle. Whenever I go, popular varieties are missing on the shelf. Manager doesn’t plan to keep everything stocked.
Basavaraju H — Google review
World saddest "BLT," horrible customer service. My coffee sat there for a long time behind the counter before they thought to call out my name. I had to ask for it. This is the only interaction from the staff. "BLT" is very light with two strips of bacon if your lucky. Hardly a "BLT."
Nicole L — Google review
Customer service here has improved in the last year. I keep coming here because the bagels are tasty and I love the breakfast BLT on Challah bread. Even though the pandemic seems to be over I guess they don't want to bother letting customers sit down because they haven't set their dining area back up since 2020...
Pat C — Google review
Generally good, but always frustrated on how much you pay for schmear, and how little they give. Other Noah’s locations are not this stingy. After a string of disappointments I think I will no longer visit this location. The consistency in how they skimp makes this feel like the employees are being told to do this. You pay $1.75 to add it and barely get any.

The cafe is known for its delightful frozen yogurt with creative and unique flavors, including options like vegan, sugar-free, fat-free, and gluten-free. It's a great place to satisfy your sweet tooth with a variety of toppings available.
My husband wanted Vietnamese coffee and our friend saw this new place nearby. The Vietnamese coffee was good, especially the egg cream topping. (Our friend also got this and thought the coffee could be stronger). We also got the yellow yacht (mango banana smoothie) and dragonberry fusion (fruit tea). The smoothie was a win! My son really enjoyed this. It was not too sweet and nice and creamy. The drinks were really pretty with the small ice cubes that they use. We waited outside because we had dogs, and when our drinks were done, the barista brought them to us! That was service beyond expectations that we appreciated but definitely don't expect. We would come here again to try more!

Dolce Spazio Gelato is a charming spot to indulge in sweet treats after a meal, conveniently located within walking distance of local restaurants. The cozy interior offers a nice selection of gelato flavors, with the Oreogasim being particularly popular. Despite the seemingly small portion sizes, the satisfying nature of the desserts makes up for it. Guests can enjoy their treats while watching traffic from window seats or opt for a quiet and shady experience on the small back patio.
I had a 'Due' of pumpkin and Oh Snap (ginger cookies). The two flavors were perfect together. I didn't want to finish. This coyly be the very BEST gelato I have ever had!!
Jennifer C — Google review
My husband and I came here to pay a visit for their gelato and espresso hot drinks to go along with it. They have pretty good choices of flavors to pick and a very friendly staff. My husband ordered the Amaretto Almond and Espresso flavors (Due). As for me, the Holy Cannoli and Cappuccino Chips (Due). We’re supposed to get 2 Single espresso shots when we try to order again for the second time. The staff made a mistake and gave us Uno gelato with espresso flavor instead of the coffee --- single shot espresso. In the end, we decided not to make another attempt. As for the gelato, we must say that this is, so far, the best gelato we’ve had from different gelato shops we’ve been to. However, I must say the flavors weren’t strong or bold. For example, in the Cappuccino and Espresso, you can’t taste much of the strength of the flavor itself. Same for the Holy Cannoli, though what we love about their gelato is that it’s not sweet, and you can taste the milk's creaminess. We found their gelato's stretchy style or texture interesting; I'm not sure what they add to make their gelato like that. As for the coffee itself, we found its boldness and strength lacking. Given that it’s Italian gelato, we had a bit high expectations—you think they must serve great boldness and a kick of the coffee flavor. Overall, we’re pleased. We're happy to visit again for different flavors, perhaps skipping the hot coffee drinks next time.

Hands down the best gelato in the Bay Area! One spoonful and I was instantly transported back to my days living in Germany and traveling through Europe. The hazelnut one is really authentic!!!

Dolce Spazio Gelato in Los Gatos is a delightful destination for anyone craving a sweet treat. Their gelato is truly a standout, crafted with care and bursting with flavor. With a variety of options ranging from classic favorites like stracciatella and pistachio to unique seasonal creations, there’s something to satisfy every palate. Each scoop is creamy, rich, and a testament to their commitment to quality ingredients. The gelato has a smooth texture that melts in your mouth, making it a perfect indulgence on a warm day. In addition to gelato, they offer a selection of sorbets that are equally impressive, providing refreshing alternatives for those seeking dairy-free options. The vibrant flavors, such as raspberry and mango, are incredibly refreshing and make for a perfect treat. While the products are outstanding, the service at Dolce Spazio could use a bit of fine-tuning. On a busy day, the staff can appear slightly overwhelmed, which may lead to longer wait times. Additionally, there were moments when the staff seemed less engaged, which detracted from the otherwise friendly atmosphere of the shop. A more attentive and upbeat approach would greatly enhance the overall experience for customers ready to enjoy their delicious offerings. Overall, Dolce Spazio Gelato remains a must-visit spot in Los Gatos for gelato lovers. With their superb flavors and high-quality products, it’s easy to overlook the minor service hiccups. I’m looking forward to my next visit, hoping to see some improvements in service alongside those irresistible gelato scoops!

Super helpful and friendly staff👍 Gelato 😋😋😋 Nice private seating in the back. Very quiet and peaceful. If you are undecided on flavors, they can do a half and half mix of different flavors so you can taste them both.

Dolce Spazio Gelato is hands down one of my favorite spots in Bay Area. Their gelato is rich, flavorful, and always hits the spot, especially their affogato, which is an absolute treat. The flavor selection is fantastic, and every option I’ve tried has been delicious. One of the things I love most is their long operating hours; it’s the perfect place to stop by after dinner or for a late evening stroll. Whether you’re walking through charming downtown Los Gatos or just want to relax and people-watch from their outdoor seating, the vibe is always welcoming. The staff here are incredibly kind and make the experience even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a great dessert spot with quality gelato and a warm atmosphere, Dolce Spazio is a must-visit!

As a LGHS alum and returning resident/local, I gotta say, everything is just as I left it and if possible, even better! :-) I have been enjoying revisiting a lot of old favorites here, checking out new eateries, and perusing the updates to the downtown area. It certainly received quite the face lift haha! Not that it needed much, but the newer remodels and COVID-seating (blech!) certainly doesn't seem to hurt the overall look and feel of Los Gatos. Somehow they made it work, and it offers more ample space to enjoy the sunshine in style. Anyway, back to gelato. This is a very special place with the very best in gelato quality, flavor, and aesthetic. Sometimes the younger workers forget the special wafer, but that's okay. It's the most delicious gelato and ice cream place in the area and worth a stop if you are ever driving through, or if you're a new/returning local like myself. Enjoy!

I love this place and it’s probably one of my favorite places to get ice cream from. So far I’ve only had the vanilla flavor and strawberry frozen yogurt which were both great! Though, I kinda wish they had smaller sized cups because their smallest feels a bit too small but their second smallest (not medium) is decent but it’s still a little too much. The employees here are also really helpful and nice

The fudge in peppermint fudge ripple is literally only on the side of tub. There's barely anything in the icecream. They have intentionally made it look like your getting fudge but instead your not. This isn't right. all the other icecream is amazing but this one is disappointing

Come here twicd a month for the kids. Wife and sister in law love the milk shake but how can you be out of milk litterally 7 out of the last 10 times we've came. Sometimes there's only one person but you're litterally 12 steps away from the Luckys. Something that can be bought before opening. Last time they were out of bananas for a bananas split for the person in front of me . Unacceptable and hard to rate this any higher due to the inconsistency for being out of basic stuff. You can't even call them as they usually have no one to pick up the phone

Nothing Bundt Cakes is a popular bakery chain known for its wide variety of bundt cakes, ranging from bite-sized to tiered options. In addition to cakes, they also offer gifts and party supplies. The bakery provides convenient online ordering and fast, friendly service. Customers appreciate the easy parking and the availability of several cake options for last-minute party needs. The red velvet and chocolate flavors are particularly praised, but there are many other flavors to explore as well.
I had an amazing customer service experience, thanks to their manager, Jeff! I’ve always loved Nothing Bundt Cakes, so whenever there’s an occasion, it’s always the first place that comes to mind. A few months ago, I forgot to include the suite number in the drop-off address, and the Uber driver marked the order as "delivered," even though I hadn’t received anything yet. After contacting the staff, Jeff personally reached out to me and delivered my order the same day. I truly appreciated this and commend their outstanding service and overall performance in handling the situation. Thank you again! :)

CATERING BEWARE!!!!!! I am giving this business 5 stars because they were super professional in a bad situation that wasn't their fault and a good business should not suffer for the failure of another business. Anyone interested in catering delivery through the app from these guys should know that it uses Uber Eats. I ordered 3 dozen gluten free cupcakes for my wedding and they never showed up. I got a receipt saying the order was dropped off but when my event planner went to get them, they were nowhere to be found. Needless to say it was my wedding day so it stressed me out. The manager at this location was quick to put out this fire for us. They remade the entire order as I wanted it before (gluten free) and the manager himself came to drop it off. I really appreciated that effort because I feel like some businesses just don't go that extra mile for a customer and this place did. Overall, disappointed with the delivery driver from Uber Eats, but the cupcakes themselves were absolutely perfect. I ordered an over abundance for my wedding and they FLEW. My guests loved them and I ordered gluten free to accommodate my wife and a couple guests, everyone else couldn't even tell they were gluten free which is exactly what you want out of a gluten free dessert. Thank you very much to the manager for going the extra mile and ensuring I had the promised dessert for my wedding. Again, this location is awesome, but beware of using their delivery for a major event.

I went to another bakery today in Los Gatos but sadly they are closed on Mondays. I was walking around North Santa Cruz “I still call it Winchester” and stopped in at my friends shop, “ Redemption” as we talked I mentioned that I was bummed out as I really wanted something from the bakery. He mentioned Nothing Bundt Cakes and said to give them a try, so off I went (as it turned out they were only about 100 feet from where I had parked” as I walked the 1/2 mile back towards my car (using my yelp maps) I spotted the bakery. I said to myself this place has to be pretty new, as I walked in I noticed that all they sell are bunt cakes. I asked the lady behind the counter (who by the way was super sweet) how long they had been in business at this location? Figuring her reply would be about one year, I was shocked to find out they have been in this location for about 10 years!! “What rock have I been sleeping under” Well long story short I went with her suggestion and got one of their Lemon Raspberry bunt cakes. “with extra icing, cuz dat is how I roll” I took it with me to Starbucks and ate it with my new found favorite drink. The bunt cake was super moist, dense and delicious. The lemon flavor was spot on and the Raspberry compliments the lemon to perfection. And the price point for what they gave me $5.45 which included .50 cents for extra icing I thought was actually on the inexpensive side. “I would say it weighs a good 10 ounces” well worth the price. “See pictures” The inside of the shop is well decorated, I had fun looking around and even bought a unicorn candle for that someone special in my life. ;D

My experience was a disaster. I bought two dozens of cupcakes, they charged me for 3. When I asked to refund the extra charge and after 10 mins waiting, the person behind the cash could not do it and told me the owner will refund. Still after a week and calling twice already, I have not seen a refund. It looks like a scam!!! STAY AWAY!!

Chocolate cake was delicious . but lemon raspberry was so very sweet that I couldn’t finish. The cashier was also so impatient, looks like she wanted to get rid of the customers ASAP.

On 07/30 I went because I was in the area and it seemed like a good idea to buy my husband his birthday cake (first time in the store) but I had the worst service and customer service, the person who attended me was very intolerant and rude . When I was paying I wanted to buy a Happy Birthday thing and she just threw it at me, literally! I really regretted having gone there, with so many bakeries in the area I went to the worst
Loreana S — Google review
Just got the birthday cake today. It was amazing. Taste , decoration and quality perfect.
Mahi S — Google review
Excellent cakes, wonderful service and just very nice people! Christina is just an awesome person and the place just smells like heaven! The red velvet and the chocolate flavors are both delicious, we will try some of the others next time.

Baskin-Robbins is a vibrant ice cream parlor chain famous for its wide array of flavors, including sorbet and yogurt. Customers appreciate the exceptional service provided by the staff, who are described as pleasant, friendly, well-organized, and efficient. The store has adapted to pandemic guidelines by limiting the number of customers inside and requiring facial coverings. Additionally, they offer quick turnaround for special orders like personalized ice cream cakes.
Probably one of the oldest 31 Flavors in the area which makes it cool! Plenty of room to eat inside or out. Great customer service! The ice cream is always good.

The dude that was working there acted as if we brought a whole school bus full of people in there. Good forbid if u ask for 2 scoops. His attitude sucked, he scraped off the hard dried parts of the hot fudge for my sundae. It was THE worst experience ever. I doubt I'll ever go back there again. If you don't like serving people then you shouldn't be in this type of job. I couldn't even eat the dam 8 dollar Sundae. Ridiculous...

Super service. Called at the last minute for an ice cream cake for a birthday. They made it and was ready in twenty minutes of the call. My grandson was surprised and over the moon that it had writing on it. Well done Baskin Robbins. We will take that win!

Everyone loves BR ice cream but this place has the great service to match the great ice cream. Two young ladies were working Saturday evening (02/03/2018) & they were pleasant, friendly, very well organized, and very efficient. My husband and I were so impressed with how they worked together and dealt with the stream of customers on Saturday night. Well played, Baskin Robbins ladies, well played indeed.

We appreciate all the business especially during the pandemic, our hours do differ from what is posted here online we are open from Noon-8pm. To adhere the guidelines of social spacing, there is a limit to the amount of customers allowed in the store. Also for the safety of the others and our staff we please ask if you can come into the store with a facial covering. We do understand that some of you are limited on time, but please be patient with our staff members they are doing their very best to serve you in a timely manner. Once again thank you for you patronage! Keykey BR Cake Decorator.

Very friendly guy who apparently was in training, but he seemed like he knew what he was doing. Great ice cream for $1.50 a scoop, but I found out it contains HFCS. Bummer. I won't be back until they get rid of the HFCS.

Typical 31BR icecream shop in the small town, small mall. Though I was waiting in a line for my order. Kind of busy place.

I've never really liked Baskin Robbins. The ice cream is okay, pretty pricy.... Meh. I try to avoid it as much as possible.

Ice cream shop
Humphry Slocombe Pruneyard, a renowned ice cream parlor originally from San Francisco, has expanded to downtown Redwood City. The shop is famous for its creative and unconventional ice cream flavors, such as the popular Secret Breakfast with bourbon and crunchy cornflakes, as well as a creamy vanilla with caramel and Fly By Jing Sichuan Chili Crisp.
This place is where I have wanted to try before my short visit was over. I have seen long lines of people waiting and shied away from stopping. Today the line was fairly short so we stopped. The demeanor of the gentleman behind the counter was just plain pleasant. He took his time and did a great job. The service was great. The building was neat, clean and well maintained. The ice cream was pretty good. As always, the waffle cone makes any ice cream taste even better. We loved stopping here and if I ever return to the area I will gladly stop here again.

Pros:Fun and clean decor. Toppings and sides sold here too. Limited selection of ice cream. I tried matcha and it tasted nothing like matcha! My daughter got marshmallow ice cream and it was not very good!
Neda M — Google review
Interesting ice cream flavors! Service is great, the ice cream seemed pretty expensive for a parlor and in comparison to other shops…. And I’ve been to a lot 😆 the cereal flavor is quite tasty
Vivian L — Google review
The nice thing about this place is that they update their flavors a lot! They do scoops (cups) and cones. I tried a lavender flavor and milk and cookies flavor ice cream here and it is delicious! They do let you sample the flavors so that was the nice thing. Prices are really good for the proportions you get too. It's kinda hidden under a two story plaza(first floor) But the door was open and I like the graffiti art. There are stalls but no chair to eat ice cream, so it's more of a grab and go place. Service was nice. Overall really good ice cream quality.
Minh V — Google review
Unique flavors and clean location. One staff member working which slowed things down but he was friendly despite being busy. Ice cream was a bit on the soft side and melted quicker than it should have even for a warm day. Waffle cones were standard. Prices are a little higher than you may expect. $13.00 for a double scoop in a waffle cone and a single in a cup. Would definitely visit again though just to try different flavors. The Vietnamese coffee and Tahetian vanilla were amazing.
Joseph G — Google review
We sampled two ice cream flavors: Tahitian Vanilla and Vietnamese Coffee. Overall, both tasted good, but we found the Tahitian Vanilla slightly too sweet and the Vietnamese Coffee a bit too salty.
Akshata M — Google review
We just finished a birthday dinner at Luna’s and we were looking forward to 7 of us going and getting ice cream after, and the door was locked 7:50 pm with a sign returning at 8:30. We saw the workers walking out of Teaspoon when heading back to our cars. This is the second time that this has happened to my family in the past month. We miss Tin Pot.
Holli M — Google review
Employee was super duper nice and patient I wish I got her name. I was really indecisive because all the flavors are so unique and yummy. The place also smells like vanilla and heaven 🥲
