Most delicious, delicate crepe cake I've ever had, way better than Lady M. You can tell there's so much thought and care into the recipes the moment you try the cream on the top. On the pistachio crepe cake, just the cream only was already floral and nutty, the cake itself was flavorful, perfectly balanced with bold nutty fragrance and mild sweetness. Each layer of the black sesame crepe cake was rich, nutty, and earthy with a toasty aftertaste. Tiramisu crepe cake had a wonderfully strong rum flavor between each layer.

I love crepe cakes and this place has rave reviews! Why would this be a 1 star experience? I just had the black sesame cake and the experience was so underwhelming. I previously tried Swwet Glory on inner sunset in SF, and have been addicted to crepe cakes since. They were delicious and fruity. In comparison the ones from Anton lack flavor and imagination. They are boring. Also much smaller quantity for the same price. Never been so disappointed with a cake place. They don’t even offer a place to sit down, have smaller cake pieces, that doesn’t even taste good and yet charge heavily.

The Hokkaido milk cream so fresh and mild. A little sweet and not too dense. The chocolate beads are crispy and bring in a rich taste. Perfect dessert for a sunny holiday afternoon!

The Hokkaido milk crepe cake was out of this world; it was like teleporting back to Hokkaido and indulging in the famous soft serve there, but in cake form. A literal slice of Hokkaido in a random business park in North San Jose, such a treasure. I also tried the tiramisu cake as tiramisu is one of my favorites and it did not disappoint but the ubiquity of tiramisu made it take second place to the unique Hokkaido milk flavor. Rachel provided outstanding and friendly service and was very flexible when my pick up time needed to shift to later in the day. It was a bit difficult to locate the actual storefront, but there is ample parking and a quick walk around the business park was all it took. The price was a bit on the high side for a slice of cake but probably no more than Lady M or other similar crepe cakes. I gave 3 stars for atmosphere because it's about as much as you can get for having no indoor seating but the quality was so great, it's perfect if you just want to take away a slice or two for dessert.

I ordered delivery of an assorted whole cake. It’s not fresh at all. Tastes and looks like at least 1-2 days old. Disappointed :/

Our pistachio mille crepe cake looked gorgeous but there wasn't much pistachio flavor. Mostly just tastes of slightly over whipped buttery cream. The employee who assisted us was not particularly friendly, and she refused to give us any ice, though we told her we would be driving two hours to our hotel. We refrigerated the cake as soon as we got to the hotel, but nevertheless by the second day it tasted off so we threw out more than 50%, which was a real waste. Wouldn't go back.

This is my favorite crepe cake! I purchased their slice set - Hokkaido Milk and Pistachio. Each flavor comes with two slices at the price of $19.99. When I went, they also gifted me a Mango Panna Cotta, which was a nice surprise since it was also my birthday! My favorite flavor out of the two crêpes has to be the Hokkaido Milk. It is the perfect amount of sweetness with milk tea aroma and I absolutely love the contrast in texture form the crispy chocolate inside. The Pistachio flavor is definitely authentic and not artificial. I love that it is topped with actual pistachio on top but the flavor did not hit the spot for me. I will definitely come back to try their new flavor Hazelnut Strawberry which also sounds amazing! I hope they will come out with a mix & match flavor set so I don't have to purchased so many sets just to try different flavors!

1st time checking out this spot, and I must say it was quite a pleasant experience. Came here on a Saturday morning and there was a line with about 10 people. The inside looks nice and clean. The baked goods in the display look great! We got the infamous burnt almond cake and some other things. Will definitely come back to try other baked goods.

This bakery has brought so much joy to so many people for so many years. There should be a special category for beloved long-standing institutions like this! Bring a burnt almond cake to your next event to see those who know light up on sight... and hear those who don't ask, "Where's this from?" upon taking a bite.

My girlfriend had not been in this neighborhood in 30 years, and when she saw it still open and we had to stop. The place is small, and it was surprising to have to wait in line just to get in the door. It was not a long wait, but that says it all. Everything is delicious. The service is A1, and there is plenty of history.

Hands down one of my favorite bakeries in San Jose! I came 30 min before closing on a weekday and was surprised to see how many people were still coming in to get their Peters' Bakery fixes before they closed for the day. The burnt almond cake is my absolutely favorite because it's the perfect sweet treat that's also not overly sweet. I've gotten it in a full size cake form and also cupcake form which is nice cause I can still get my fix no matter how many people I'm catering to. There were other baked goods options that I will definitely try next time. The staff were also super friendly, nice, and speedy so I got in and out pretty quickly. Parking was easy-ish, but I can imagine it might be a little hard if it's super busy or if you come on the weekend.

I couldn't believe I fell in love with Peter's Bakery in San Jose. I came here in May to get my niece's wedding cakes and cookies. I ordered a couple of cupcakes on the side. The pastries were absolutely amazing. I would come back to get some more next time I am in the Bay Area.

I ordered a create your own chocolate cake. The online process was easy and when I called them to ask if I could pick up the cake slightly early, the girl I spoke to was very nice. However, parking was a nightmare, the employee in the bakery who checked me out was a bit rude, and the cake ended up being extremely dry. No one went back for seconds. Was not worth the hassle of going there or the money.

This was mine and my friend’s first time at Charlie’s Cheesecake Works. Their cheesecakes are absolutely amazing and so full of flavor and super creamy. They have a wide variety of flavors and the man who greeted us was so kind and genuine. We will definitely be coming back! Thank you so much!!

Best cheesecake ever!! I came here yesterday to try out some flavors for our wedding. I got the cheesecake poppers and they were 12/10. The strawberry, key lime and blueberry tasted so fresh and were absolutely delicious. Even the Cappuccino was incredible and I usually hate coffee flavored things. It tasted like delicious cheesecake with fresh coffee. Charlie was so nice and walked me through all the options. Will be placing orders for our wedding and coming here for future events. Could not recommend this place more!

Today was our first time visiting Charlie's and we loved it - particularly the bite sized versios which let us try all the classic flavors. The cheesecakes were super soft and creamy. Chuck was also very nice and patiently explained everything to us. This is a must visit place for any cheesecake lovers.

This was my first time trying the strawberry cheesecake cake from Charlie’s and was greeted with great customer service. I ordered it for my father’s birthday and it was absolutely delicious. The whole family enjoyed it and I look forward to coming back!

This is an amazing gem nestled away in such an inconspicuous place. There are a variety of flavors of cheesecake, including chocolate, raspberry, cappuccino, key lime, and classic to name a few. Each of them melts in your mouth as soon as you take a bite you can't help but want more. Charlie, the owner is bright and friendly. We will definitely be going back for birthday desserts and more in the future! They even have small bite sized ones that are great to share at events!

THE BEST CHEESECAKE!! I felt so welcome as soon as I walked into shop. It tastes so yummy and I can’t wait to come back for more sweet treats :) thank you to the owner! The cheesecake is the perfect amount of sweet and the bite size ones are to die for!

Love coming to Little Saigon for this spot. Once they open their doors, they have a line already. The quality is soooooooo good here. I’ve never had an egg tart as dense and rich as they make it here. They are huge! You can’t go wrong with anything here. I usually go with the egg tarts (all flavors) and the Vietnamese cookie. The prices are great here, so TREAT YO SELF.

TLDR: gave us old pastries that weren’t fresh We got the pandan croissant and the croissant was a waste of calories, it was stale and barely any flakiness at all. The Same thing for the sesame cookie, flavor was not good and it was old. They don’t let you into the shop so you can’t even see the pastries and items at all. Would not recommend

Delicious and quick bakery items! The pandan waffle was made on the spot and came out steaming hot, it was crunchy on the outside and soft and moist on the inside, perfectly delicious! My friend also got the pandan croissant and we also fetched some creamy, flavorful egg tarts. Everything for a great price! Highly recommend :)

Stumbled upon this place awhile back and definitely miss the pastries! This bakery is small, but it offers a lot of delicious options from egg tarts to honeycomb cake (my favorite). There were two people working there when I visited and they were super friendly. Would definitely come back to try out their other goodies!

My favorite is mochi cake, very delicious! Pandan cake is just like the one I had in Singapore, very soft and delicious! The difficulty is that it is difficult to park on weekends. I recommended to order online, and it only takes 15 minutes to pick up.

We got the honeycomb cake, chiffon cake, pandan egg tarts, mochi cakes, and kaya choux. We ordered online to pick up. I'd highly suggest it so you don't have to wait in line and go to the pick up line instead. But if you want the waffle, you'd have to go in line since it's not available in the online menu. Might've been too hyped up and expected too much from it. Honeycomb cake: smaller than expected for one piece (might've been 6 inch pan divided into 6 pieces). This was pretty good and good bouncy texture. Chiffon cake: not much pandan flavor but it was super fluffy and moist. I enjoyed it even though it wasn't flavorful. Pandan egg tart: tasted like a regular egg tart. I've had better egg tarts elsewhere. Mochi cakes: guava filled was a bit of a miss, the guava filling was at the bottom of the muffin. Although good flavor, it was odd to have to flip it upside down. The banana version tasted like a banana nut muffin but with mochi muffin texture. Kaya choux: agreeing with other reviews. The choux itself missed the mark. Was almost like it was stale? The kaya custard inside was delicious and I would totally eat that by itself. Overall: I'd stop by if we're nearby within 10 minutes drive but I wouldn't make a special trip otherwise. Nothing was a must get or casts that "I'm craving for this" spell.

Delicious baked goods and with traditional Asian flavours like ube, pandam, and tea. Service is fast and food runners are quick. When I went there, employees took your order at the front. You weren't able to enter the store and I wish they had like one of each of the pastries displayed at the front window or at the counter where you order so you could see them. The baked goods were 4/5 fillings were good, but bread bits were okay. The ube croissant was more of a bready croissant than a crispy one. The crust for the tart wasn't super flakey and the filling was firm. Flavors were fantastic and sweetness was balanced. Will be back to try their milk breads though.

(Super late review from Feb 2024) My sister and friends were in town from Dallas TX and wanted to try all the popular spots in San Jose. I’ve heard a lot of good things about the durian dessert at this place and have tried a bite from a friend’s purchase and it was bombbbb! Decor is pretty cute, resembles local spots in Vietnam. We ordered a drink (pictured), I honestly can’t remember what it was. I just remembered it was so watered down and just gross. The snacks and desserts on the other hand were pretty good! Desserts aren’t pictured, forgot to take pics. We ordered Viet style há cảo (har gow), and fish balls. They definitely got the flavor right and reminded me of my childhood in Saigon. If I’m in the area, I would probably stop by for the desserts and snacks. Bottom line: Great dessert and snack flavors

Nice shop with many vietnamese/chinese desserts and pastries. Love the baked pastries with durian. It is chinese pastry. I have a salty egg inside. I don't know the name. It is round. I also love the soursoup drink. It is so refreshing. There are plenty of items to choose from. It also has plenty of seating areas.

Have heard of this dessert shop for some time and finally give it a try. Cons: the bakery items are not labeled so you can only choose based on the looking; SA can not introduce the food well. The item has abstract names but they can only give very basic main ingredient introduction. Pros: they sells seasonal bakery items like moon cakes; They also have meat pie similar to Chinese 鲜肉月饼(Taste is a little different though); They have meat floss rolls similar to (肉松卷) but used cream cheese as filling, not bad. We also get the coconut dessert drink, have no idea what’s inside but it tastes good.

Happened in this place and is it ever busy. We ordered the fried quail eggs(yum!!), chicken gizzards (yumm, no smell!!) These two taste best fresh. We also ordered a ton of other things but the Panda honey comb was my fave. I think about it. It was busy, packed although all Vietnamese. Varying groups socializing (young n old alike). It had an awesome energy this plan. I plan to go again.

This review is way overdue! Dzui has been one of my go-to spots in San Jose for years and it never disappoints. The toasted chili bread and mixed rice paper are packed with flavor and so addictive. For drinks, I love the peach lemongrass tea and Hambalang milk tea. Super refreshing and unique. The decorations make you feel like you’re snacking back in Vietnam, with a cozy street-food vibe that’s nostalgic and fun. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, and consistently amazing food. Highly recommend!

Visited this BAMBŪ location after having some dim sum at dynasty. The menu has got larger greatly from the just che shop. There is coffee drinks, smoothies and little snacks. Order the #10 and #6. Both were good and had right amount of sweetness. The #6 had extra lychee which the kids really like. Each BAMBŪ location varies a little bit that depends on who is making the drink or dessert. This one is a good one.

First time to try Vietnamese drinks and I absolutely love it! We ordered Awesome Trio and Smashed Avocados. Trio (6.5💰) has concentrated milk, shaved ice, green jellies and sweet beans. Avocados (7.5💰) has a lot of bobas and coconut jellies in the sweet avocado smoothie. They both worth the price and wait😋

Very good. I think there may be inconsistencies in terms of how drinks are made. The last time I ordered the #6 it didn’t have coconut chunks in it, which I liked. But this time it had coconut chunks. Next time I’ll be sure to customize it.

Bambu at this location offer better taste than other location, that’s my own opinion. However, the cashier people is not as sweet as their dessert 😅. Must try Bambu special and avocado smash.

If i could give this place 0 stars I would. They are absolutely horrible at keeping this place clean, it’s greasy and overall extremely dirty. After I placed my order it took almost 25 minutes for them to finally give it to me, and it tasted weird, not to what it usually tastes like. The staff was also not in the best of moods, which made me scared to ask where or what had happened to my order for it to be THAT delayed. Unless you really don’t have another place to go to for a drink, i’d say skip this spot and go somewhere else. 0/10

⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3/5 It was my first time trying Soyful Desserts. I ordered the Banana Matcha and Coconut Matcha both sounded really good, but the flavors didn’t quite hit the mark for me. They were okay, just not as rich or balanced as I expected. Maybe next time I’ll ask if I can adjust the sugar level to suit my taste. For now, I’d say the drinks were just alright, but I’m open to giving it another try.

Despite presenting the confirmation, the cashier advised that the transaction had not been completed and requested a second attempt. This has led to a situation requiring resolution with my credit card provider.

Good matcha! Service was a bit slow, but they were running a bogo that day so I think that's reasonable. The banana one had excellent flavor and the sweetness level was right on point.

Ice cream here is amazing! They give out scoops, and the pieces are huge. Chunks and good optimization for flavors. Gluten free cookies and options available. Favorite flavors are Cookies and Crème/ Strawberry Cheesecake It’s pretty crowded at night time.

A wonderful little ice cream shop with multiple vegan options that are not just sorbet or coconut flavored. They also had vegan cookies to go with the vegan ice cream. The service was nice, but not overly helpful and the atmosphere is good, but nothing magical. Overall, I would go back and really enjoyed it! Keep up the great vegan flavors!

I’ve really enjoyed the new ice cream and gelato options at this Cream location. They offer gianduja hazelnut gelato which is my favorite. They don’t skimp out and give you a big scoop each time. I’ll definitely be back soon.

I went for the brownie sundae. Ice cream tasted good. Not a whole lot of topping choices. As i visited in march 2021, the rush was less for a Friday evening. It's right in the downtown, opposite to the temple bar.

Ordered Rocky Road 5oz (the chocolate one) and Cafe latte-da 7oz. Price - Honestly, Willow Glen Creamery priced the Ice cream like a real small business. 5oz would be way sufficient for 1 person and it’s just $5.75. 👍 Taste - No compromises were made in the quality of the ice cream. The chocolate pieces in Cafe latte-da were definitely not cheap. The waffle cones had substantial thickness to it. Rocky Road had almonds in every bite. 👍 Ambiance - You’ll have a romantic/friendly setting outside, facing a fountain or you can wander the streets of Willow Glen with your lovely Ice cream 👍 I recommend Willow Glen Creamery.

Went in around 11:15am on a Sunday. Parking is easy via free street parking or free nearby parking lot. No problems with seating inside or outside. Food was great, i had the Dole Pineapple Yogurt (Mini size). It tasted nice and refreshing but also fairly rich and important bit is how it didnt melt quickly. Service was solid staff were friendly and cleaned up tables as necessary. Atmosphere was nice, very pleasant and quiet for enjoying desserts.

Some funky flavors as well as traditional ones here. We were allowed to taste as many as we wanted before deciding to go with Marble Black Raspberry, Old Fashioned Pralines and Cream, Mint Chip and Heaven. All delicious and light.

Today, I was walking downtown Willow Glen and decided to try Willow Glen Creamery for the first time and I was not disappointed. I saw the sign for flavor of the day and It was the s’mores sundae and I ordered it and when I tasted it, wow. The ice cream was delicious and I will be coming back soon.

Really nice brick and mortar ice cream shop that has a longstanding history standing history in Willow Glen. Delicious, but some flavors are high in sugar content. Other than that this place is awesome. Seating is limited to outside patio areas.

Taste: okish, coffee almond was good, honey lavender too much color was added. Service: After tasting 2 flavors, when asked for 3rd flavor to taste , he said this is the last one you can taste which I felt was bit rude, whereas other day I visited salt n straw where they encouraged to taste as many flavors I want.

Nice for Togo orders, the place to sit is dingy and poorly maintained. Service is slow so watch out for peaks you might need to wait really long even if 3-4 people are ahead of you.

The husband and I took a stroll after lunch in DT Willow Glen. We came across this gem because we were curious how the serve yourself boba bar worked. Lee came out to walk us through the process and was super nice. He also added that there’s a promotion now so each cup is $2! That’s insane! He gave us our cups with our desired amount of ice and told us to get whatever we want (unlimited toppings & tea choice in our $2 cups!!!) It was a neat experience to self-serve with the machines. He let us pay after we got our cups filled and sealed (you’re supposed to pay inside before filling up). He was super nice and explained everything. He was also kind enough to let us sample their ice cream which he made on the spot. We unexpectedly got treats and a show! It was awesome customer service and the ice cream and teas were on point. Highly recommend it! We’ll be back for sure and have talked to other folks about it. They too have said the teas were good and the customer service is really good.

Weekday visits(~8.30 pm): A little on expensive side for ice cream, wish they had smaller sizes. Ordered Ferrari(love the name) rolled icecream, it’s okay chocolate waffle, powdered almonds and Nutella (added brownie and powdered oreo toppings, no additional charge). Place was little busy, cold inside, had continuous orders, served in <10 min. Outside seating was good, this place also had automated drinks as well outside.

it's super tasty.. I also love the process to make it, you can see what they are mixing in your icecream.. small area but have outdoor sitting area.. lots of options to choose icecream flavors and toppings.. I felt like little pricey,but once in while it's ok.. overall lovey experience.

The rolled ice cream was beautifully decorated with the toppings perfectly distributed across and throughout the ice cream. We came on Monday the 18th of August around 3:30. The guy working was all by himself and despite this, he made quick work with 3 rolled ice creams in record time. He carefully did the Nutella one last as one ice cream roll we got requested for no tree nuts. The rolls were made tightly and no ice cream was wasted .The happy hour was almost chosen for us as they had the two flavours we wanted : Oreo blast and Nutella N Chill (the other being strawberry fantasy). He put the perfect amount of each topping and drizzle and it was so beautifully presented. He even offered us a bag when he saw that I reached for plastic cover for one of the bowls. Thank you man

It’s been a decade since we have been here. Friend wanted a cool treat and we saw that this place served shaved ice. Plenty of parking in the lot. We ordered two large mango shaved ice $15 each. Grabbed some tables and waited about 10 minutes. The shaved ice was piled up high. Mango was fresh, mango ice cream was good. The lychee jelly and condensed milk were served on the side. Nice and refreshing on a hot day.

Honey Berry is a must-visit! The roti bun is absolutely delicious—soft, fresh, and packed with flavor. I’d also highly recommend the mangonada, which is the perfect blend of sweet, tangy, and refreshing.

Clean shop and very friendly customer service. We went for ice cream, but their menu offers many more treats! Will definitely be coming back to try more menu items.

Came here with 40 mins to spare before the store closes to have the shave ice. Was debating between the different flavors as I had observed that most of the customers in the store were enjoying their mango shaved ice whilst I was standing in line. The customer standing in the line right in front of me seemed to sense my dilemma, told me that the matcha shaved ice is very good. So I just went with her recommendation and I’m glad I did. Thoroughly enjoyed the matcha shaved ice. The ice is flavored unlike most places that only drizzle syrups on their shaved ice. It wasn’t too sweet either and is refreshing. Way better than the other places that serves bingsu/shaved ice.

Our absolute favorite! Best roti bread bun EVER. Excellent service - They heat up the roti bun for us so it’s warm and crispy, wow, so delicious. We feel so lucky to live in the Bay Area where desserts we grew up eating are available to us. Thank you!

Definitely come try out their roti buns! It's like an HK pineapple bun, with a softer outer crust and a fluffy inside. I got the chocolate butter one and the inside had the butter filling, as well as a chocolatey crust. It's a nice snack and really quick to grab-n-go since the spot doesn't get too busy.

My godson was spending the night and wanted something sweet. Since we just moved into this neighborhood, we are trying different spots. There's a strong smell of sugar as soon as you walk in. All of the desserts looked really good and the service was good. My godson ordered a taro milk tea with boba. He said it tasted good. My brother and I both ordered affogatos, one with coffee ice cream and the other with hazelnut ice cream. They were sooooo good. The only thing I didn't really like was the parking. They were all so compact and most of the cars in the parking lot did not know how to park. I would suggest not parking close to anyone else.

10/24/2024 Hanabi Sushi 1040 N Rengstorff Ave Ste A1 Mountain View, CA 94043 We went there for lunch after shopping at Costco in the same plaza. The dining area is split between a cozy interior table and chair setup and a larger patio area. We were seated promptly with fast and attentive service. We both chose the lunch combo bentos. Wifey had the beef teriyaki and avocado roll and I had the Saba Shioyaki and Combo Tempura. The miso soup had good flavor and a few small cubes of tofu with kombu. My dainty mackerel filet was moist, tasty and boneless. My one shrimp tempura was hot and juicy with a crispy panko breading. The veggies were yam, carrot, zucchini and cauliflower. The dipping sauce was a little sweet. The beef was medium rare and lean of high quality with good teriyaki flavor. A good place for lunch and conveniently located. May repeat.

She checked on us regularly to ensure we had everything we needed without engaging in excessive chit-chat. This level of attentive service is a must for good customer service. Parking: The parking situation is excellent as Hanabi Sushi shares a spacious parking lot with Costco, making it convenient to find a spot without stress. I ordered the Dinner Combo Bento plate for $23.00, which includes one protein, one side, rice, ginger, wasabi, salad, and miso soup. Was looking for fresh delectable sushi while I was visiting Cali. This spot popped up on Google maps so I thought I'd give it a try. It 100% did not disappoint. The service was amazing & the sushi was delicious. I got a miso soup, 2 rolls & a specialty beverage all for $50 (including tip). I will definitely come back again when I'm in town.

Dough on all of the products was way over fermented, with a strong sour taste. Had I tried them before I left the shop, I would have returned them. Most of the purchase was tossed.

Terrible customer service. The lady in the green shirt was very rude and mean. She was very unhelpful. I asked her which doughnuts were considered the regular doughnuts and she didn’t tell me and then when I picked a a random doughnut she told me ok I will charge you one by one because that is not a regular doughnut in a very angry voice.

Treats is hands down the best ice cream you can find in San Jose, possibly the Bay Area. They have been running low on flavors lately, but for good reason. They use natural ingredients and it definitely tastes like it. It's not super well known to a lot of people, but you don't just give directions to a secret treasure like Treats to just anyone.

Can't stop eating this Treat Ice cream. Been going to the walk up door since I found this place years ago. Mango, pistachio and cookie mint krunch are some of my faves here. Real ingredients(it actually melts into milk cream) not like other stuff you get with all the preservatives. They do white label sales too for the local artisan groceries in area as well so you know it's goood!

You can buy fresh ice cream here before it hits the stores. My favorites include the tin roof sundae and black marble raspberry. There’s a large variety to choose from. No scoops sold here, only by the gallon or larger. If you want to try the same ice cream by the scoop, go to Sweet Retreat.

Their Heath flavor is the best ice cream I have ever had. It us in a back alley, cash only, but worth every last penny. Thet sell in 1/2 gal and 3 gal containers!!!

Old fashioned style ice cream - nothing too fancy, but it sure is tasty. It also only $6 for a tub - what a deal. You basically walk through the back entrance, take a look at their flavors and then tell them what you want. I've had quite a few flavors now, but my husband loved the burgandy cherry and my favorite is the cookie mint crunch. The vanilla is also great, rich and creamy. The last time I was there, they were all out of the seasonals, *tear* But they usually have many to choose from. The only one I've tried that I wasn't crazy about was the peanut butter cup, just a bit too rich and too much peanut butter swirling for my liking. A gem if you can make it there (they're only open during work hours during the week).

Best ice cream in the Bay Area. I have been buying ice cream from this place since 1995. Fabulous! Coffee, mint chocolate chip, Mango and strawberry shortcake are my favorite flavors.

Not sure that this will become part of my regular rotation, but it was fun to try. 💵 🫤 Their crepe cakes are delicious, not too sweet, and a unique variety of flavors. I tried the earl grey one. Slices here are super pricey, $12 each slice which for me, felt very overpriced. 🫖 Dine-in is a good option if you have time, as it comes with a free pot of tea. The service was friendly, no complaints there. 🪴 The spot itself is cute inside, lots of plants and minimalist aesthetic. Plenty of parking in the lot as well, so not an issue there. I think this spot is more suited for ordering a full size crepe cake for a special ocassion. There were plenty of folks stopping in to pick up birthday and anniversary cakes. I wouldn't go back for the dine-in experience or a single slice because the price wasn't justifiable for me.

We tried a slice of the crème brûlée, and it was fantastic! The atmosphere felt fresh, with lots of cute plants that added to the charm. Seating is quite limited. Also, just a heads-up — they don’t serve any coffee at all. At $12 per slice, it’s definitely on the pricey side, but still worth it for a special treat

My favorite cake place in the Bay Area. Best place in my opinion to get crepe cakes, chiffon box cakes, and omg their Mochi. I have been here 20+ times! Mochi is hands down the best Mochi I’ve had. Their seasonal items are amazing. Strawberry and Mango season is right now which is all so good. I love their strawberry box cake the most. My only wish is they had the strawberry and mango items all year round haha. 11/10 would recommend!!

I like the environment. The cakes were not too sweet. While I was there, a lot of people came in to pick up cake. The server is very nice and patient. She served me tea while I was sitting there :)! Really nice shop!

Visiting my family in San Jose and asked for some good local treats and this was one place they mentioned. So we hit it up on the last day and it was delicious. I love the theme and decor. They offer a variety of fun merch but that’s not why you’re reading this. The donuts... The donuts were very unique. There was a big variety of crazy custom creations and some ‘normal’ donuts too. We got a variety and then split them so that we could sample a bunch; so glad we did. The Girl Scout Cookies was very minty and good. The Sticky Monkey was sticky and delicious, though a little sought in the middle. The S’mores was good, as was the Boston Scream. We had a raised maple and cake too, they were as good as the rest but ‘normal’ donuts. Overall I think the Sticky Monkey was my favorite. If I’m the area then check this place out!

WHAT HAPPENED??!!!!!! Many years ago this store was cool & fun to go into. Local artists, selling their pictures’n stuff. Now, it’s so dreary! No customers, employees not dressed as nurses, open less - shorter hours, customer area was like storage now & (not sure if they always did, but) it looks like the donuts are delivered to them. $18 for 4 Donuts. Taste/Flavor, not as good as before. Well, I guess they had a good run, back in the day. 🤪🍩 😔

The donuts were just okay tasting. I went at night and they didn't have much left, so I suggest calling to check what times they put out their fresh batches. I bought s dozen of the fancy donuts and it cost me about $34.

Very interesting decor, love the art works on the walls, very unique painting and drawings, full of talent. The variety of unique donuts decorated in a fun way. They were delicious but little bit pricey.

Come early for more selections. The pumpkin fritter (probably available only during fall) is a huge feat to eat but it's amazing how quickly it disappears into thin air. Beyond the daily allowance for sugar high allowance!

Very nice pancakes. I have tasted Japanese cheese cake and these pancakes have similar texture. They are very soft and delicious. We tried all 4 flavors they have including the original, they’re super yummy. They charge $17/pancake, which is super expensive. The place has less seating and crowded. Suggestion: if they make small plates with one pancake option instead of three, people who go there rarely can at least try all three flavors!

This is probably my favorite breakfast/brunch place ever! The pancakes taste like delicious clouds, the toppings are amazing, and the overall aesthetic of the place is just adorable. I haven't yet tried every single flavor they have, but so far my favorite is the matcha. I have some thoughts about the common criticisms of this place: 1.) You have to wait at least 20 minutes for your order: Yes, this is true. However, soufflé pancakes are not able to be made ahead of time- they would deflate. If you need something to do while you wait, you can try their delicious teas. I recommend the lychee one. 2.) It's expensive: To that I say, have you ever tried making Japanese soufflé pancakes yourself? Because I have, and it was a nightmare. I'm a pretty competent home cook, but it took me multiple tries before I was able to produce something palatable, but nowhere near as good as what this place can do. And one batch (2 servings) took 1.5 hours to make- 1.5 stressful hours, I should add. Think about how you value your time- and sanity. In my opinion, the money is well spent! In short, this is one of the few places that serves a unique, difficult to make delicacy. It is well worth the investment.

I saw this place on Instagram, and the pancakes looked so good, so me and my husband decided to go try them. We went on a Sunday morning, and it was not packed. We found parking right away and ordered as soon as we were ready. We found a seat right away and got the drinks that we ordered within 5 minutes. The pancakes took exactly the 25 minutes that they said it would take. The presentation of the pancakes is nice. At first, the pancakes tasted like raw dough, but once I ate more, it tasted just right. I got the matcha pancakes and to me they were perfect. I tasted my husband strawberry pancakes, but they were too sweet for my liking. I like how they have uno cards by the register so people can take them to their seat and play. I also loved their decor and how they were playing anime on the TV. I would definitely go back and try other pancakes.

I got the Strawberry Shortcake cup! It took a little less than 10 min as they made it quickly. For this specific item, they said the pancakes are freshly made everyday and then stored in the fridge as the assembly is made to order. The actual souffle pancake orders take 25 min. Which is understandable as souffle pancakes do take that much time to cook. The staff here are super friendly. Don't be rude, and they will be nice back. Easy. I love the atmosphere of the cafe, some of their playlists are a vibe.

It tastes great, sure it takes like 25 minutes, but they have a sign saying it will take that long and as someone who has made the kind of pancake before, yeah it takes forever. Strawberry tea was unique, tasted like freeze-dried strawberry. It was *very* strawberry compared to most places that skimp out on the strawberry, though I'm not sure on how it's flavored.

I haven’t tried the authentic Japanese pancakes so I don’t really know what they are supposed to look / taste like, but I think Hanabusa pancakes are really good! They are super fluffy and tasty, not to sweet. The place itself is also pretty pleasant and clean. There are a lot of tables, so it wasn’t an issue finding a spot. The pancakes do take a while to be prepared but I think they are worth it!

Super tasty pancakes! I’ve actually never had soufflé pancakes before and my whole family really enjoyed these. Be aware that this is not fast food! The batter is made once you order and is cooked shortly after. This is basically a homemade process done for you by a friendly and talented staff but is does take some time. They advise that it takes about 25 minutes which is about how long our order of 5 dishes took but I think it could be much longer on the weekends. We had the original, chocolate, strawberry, and one matcha. All of them were good! We bright our whole family and the dog thinking it would be short but dogs are not allowed inside. The cashier guy was super nice and offered to bring some chairs and tables outside which is not something they normally do but since they had extra tables and were not too busy they were able to accommodate us outside. It was very much appreciated and we really enjoyed all the food and the service was friendly and helpful.

Such a beautiful and clean place! Loved the custard filling inside even though the red bean is traditional. I have tried upside down with the Horchata and Strawberry icecream, it’s a very creamy and nice flavor with strawberry not being too much. The server was so nice to offer as many as free toppings. I opted for a fresh strawberry on top of it with some Oreo crumbles ❤️

Been here a couple of times. This place never disappoints. I usually get the ube flavor. Today because of the heat, I decided to go get some soft serve. I just got it in a cup Togo. There's no point in getting the fish,as I knew it was going to melt before I got home. Didn't want to make a mess in the truck. It tastes better when you eat it there. The waffle stays crispy.

Came here for PHHS fundraising. The kids give a 4 star for the delicious ice cream and warm crispy taiyaki. 1 star was removed because the fillings are a bit oversweet. Lovely decorations and clean. Staff are friendly and patient.

I love getting dessert at Somisomi. The upside down ahboongs are my go-to order, and the filled taiyakis are always warm, flavorful, and soft. The ice cream portions are plentiful, and the optional toppings (Oreo crumbs, biscoff cookies, macarons, etc) are a very nice touch.

Overall: 4.4/5 We came on a Saturday night and it was packed. The line was out the door so I think it took us 40 minutes to get our soft serve. However, it was well worth it on this hot night. This Somi Somi location is so much better than the Koreatown LA location. Upside Down Ahboong ($6.95): We got a Cookies 'n Cream & Matcha swirl with Nutella filling. When the soft serve is ready, they call your name so you can come pick your toppings. We got the biscoff crumble, matcha powder, & coconut flakes. The matcha was delicious but overpowered the cookies 'n cream which we barely tasted. The toppings went well with the soft serve and gave a nice extra crunchy texture. The taiyaki was warm, fresh, & crispy. Every combo worked for this - taiyaki & Nutella, taiyaki & soft serve, Nutella & soft serve, etc. I tried my brother's milk & ube swirl which was also amazing. The flavors were really strong, especially the milk one. The milk soft serve kind of reminded me of the White Bunny Rabbit candy. You honestly can't go wrong with any of the soft serve flavors. The taiyaki soft serve is also big enough to share. It was so satisfying & made our night so I know where I'll be when it's a hot day/night and I'm in need of a cool treat :) ______ 12/01/2024: When we arrived, there wasn't a line, so we were able to order quickly at the kiosk. They had a seasonal Biscoff flavor I wanted to try, but unfortunately, it contained lactose. I opted for a matcha-strawberry swirl in a cup ($4.50) instead. Usually, we get an Ahboong, but we were too full this time. I think that might have affected my experience. The matcha and strawberry flavors were much more subtle than I remembered. The toppings didn't really help either--the macaron piece was hard and not enjoyable.

Small crepe shoppe in San Jose's Japan town area. Kids felt like a crepe so we decided to try it. When you walk in the counter looks like a lunch truck setup with papers on windows separating thew door and customer area from the food prep space. Monkey toys hang from an umbrella on the track lighting and the place feels... casually indifferent but whimsical in a kid's bedroom kind of way. Seating was very limited. The order was for a banana strawberry crepe and was fair but unmemorable. A decent experience but standard fare in the crepe world by our taste buds. Cash only so be prepared if you want to try this place out.

The crepe is not bad and the portion is quite large. We ordered a banana Nutella crepe and check how much whipped cream they put in it! For those whipped cream lovers please try this place.

I've had a crepe and shaved ice from here. I love the shaved ice! Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to the shaved ice with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Yum! The crepe was okay. The whipped cream didn't taste as good as the crepe place in San Francisco Japantown so that was a bummer. They have savory and sweet crepes to choose from.

Cash only establishment that serves shave ice treats on the right and crepes on the left. Ordering is done this way to allow better flow of traffic. Most of orders come through for shave ice especially during the Obon Festival. Crepes are yummy and shave ice refreshing especially on a hot day. Try the tiger blood during your visit.

My sister introduced me to this awesome place that has Mexican specialties that you can't get anywhere else. I come out of my way for this location. Please be consistent with your items.... I wanted the cucumber stuffed with the delish candy and today we got a chopped up cucumber with all the items still but this is NOT same. Please train the employees the same and consistent products.

Great ice cream place that serves you unbelievably huge portions. I was here on Monday and I had a two-scoop waffle cone ( Rocky Road/ Cookie's N'Cream ) that was indescribably HUGE. The girl who served me REALLY hooked me up. I can't say enough good things about this place!

This location is in a sketchy part of town. The parking lot is a bit weird, you have to enter on one side and exit from the other side. Inside there were 3 small tables, so expect to take your desserts to-go. The most popular item here is the mangonadas, which I didn't try :/ I tried the frescas con crema, which was just like strawberries in thin yogurt and tasted alright

Went on a Saturday morning to get a birthday mocha cake. Staff was friendly and cake was ok and dry. The have other cake options such as Ube and Pandan flavored.

I was excited to try the macarons because I wanted to order for a birthday party, but after tasting them, I will not be stopping by here again. Not sure how many days old they were, some were hard. The taste was "ok". I tried a slice of the guava and mocha, again the bread was not soft ( maybe it should be like that.. ?) The tiramisu was good, moist and soft.

I learned about this place on google search for Pandan layers dessert. I drove from another city to there to check it out. I was the only one inside the store in the noon time. I took some pictures because the heart shape jelly layers cakes look so pretty. Unfortunately, the middle-aged lady working there was not that friendly. Make me feel like it's not a good day to be, I just grabbed something very quick and get out of there asap. Maybe she didn't like me took photo or she had a bad day.

Very good bakery with a wide of variety of cakes, macaroons, pasteries and danishes to choose from. I got some tiramisu and it was sooo delicious. Their ice cream macaroons are out of this world. They also make some really good tropical drinks made with sugar cane. You can preorder cakes for holidays and birthdays. The manager Van is really nice and she goes out of her way to make sure yiur order will be prrfect. You gotta check it out. If you go there once, you will be there at least twice.

The cake from Van's was perfect. It was gorgeous but the photo does not do it justice. I wish I remembered to take a photo of the inside but it was so delicious that I forgot to take a photo. This cake had large chunks of fruit inside. I highly recommend Van's for your party needs. Our cake was completed quickly and for a very reasonable price. What's not to like? Only downside is parking can be a bit rough as it's in a busy plaza.

I love sweets and I have such a big sweet tooth. One of my favorite Vietnamese desserts is Cream puffs filled with Durian custard fillings. Van's bakery in San Jose makes a great version of this item. A plethora of Vietnamese baked goods are French inspired, and this is definitely one of them. To the rest of the world, Durian is know as the "Stinky fruit" of Asia. To me, the fruit smells delicious. If they made it in a colonge form, I would wear it all the time. It smells so good to me. I love this pastry because it's has lots of texture to it, the breading is soft and the custard filling melts in your mouth. Every bite is like heaven. I got a dozen for $14. $4 for a pretty normal popsicle, but I appreciate the simplicity and the kind staff. The matcha KitKat seriously tastes like green tea KitKat! Nutella was a little light. All of them are milky.

Four bucks for the ice cream on a stick and a chocolate drizzle of your choice (milk, dark, white). For 5 you get unlimited toppings. Wish the server had old me the toppings were unlimited as I missed the sign. Heck,it would be great if the encouraged or presented newcomers with pairings like Cold Stone. The only drawback is that the flavours on hand are limited to what is produced daily, so if a particular bar has left its mark on your taste buds, it might be sold out or not available the next time. After having a filling meal we fortunately had enough room for a small dessert. I have to admit I am a little biased towards ice cream as it is my favorite sweet treat. But that doesn't mean I don't appreciate the differences between a refreshing artisan frozen cream treat, and a sub-par dairy dessert. The young lady helping us was friendly and quick. And there was another gentleman there that was glad to answer the questions I always seem to come up with. The process to order your ice cream was a simple three step method. Pick your cream, pick your sauce, and then pick your treats to top it off. The texture of the ice cream was beyond perfect and worked perfectly on the wooden stick. The wet topping got stiff after contact with the cold ice cream like magic sauce we all love so much. I completely enjoyed my dessert at a large table in the center of the quiet yet lively market. Me and my two sisters enjoyed the entire experience from start to finish. The quality of the treat distracted me from the understandable price of about $5 a stick. I will be returning!

I really enjoyed the food! The ice cream bar are a bit pricey: $4 plain, $5 with toppings. The toppings are unlimited. It was my first time going today, and I got a Thai Tea ice cream bar with chocolate wafers, chocolate curls and drizzle. The other ice cream flavors were green tea kit Kat, pistachio, chocolate, cookies and cream. They have different flavors each time.

they are never open!! tried to go there 3 times, it’s says on google they close at 9pm, i was there at 8pm, they were closed. I put in a too good to go order there and the pickup window was 8pm-8:30pm. Got there at 8:10pm and THEY WERE CLOSED AGAIN. So sick of this place! Such a waste of money and time.

Churros el Guero catered our wedding and everyone loved them! We spoke with Carlos on the phone a month out from our wedding and he was able to provide us several options based on how many guests we had in attendance and how long service was needed. Following our conversation, he sent us a very detailed and organized text message recapping what we had discussed on the phone for us to review. We sent a few follow up questions that were answered within a few hours and from there, a contract was drafted for us. On our wedding date, Carlos was on-site cranking out fresh churros for our guests to enjoy and they were nothing short of amazing! The churros were able to be eaten as-is (my favorite) or filled with various fillings, such as: chocolate, vanilla, caramel, or strawberry. Carlos had a long line of guests waiting their turn, which he was able to quickly clear - all with a smile! Churros el Guero was very professional and cordial, ensuring each guest left the line smiling and full. Thank you so much!

Fun dessert shop to share cakes and coffee. It wasn't too busy, we got two tables to fit 8 of us. We ordered 4 slices of cake and black coffee with sides of cream. The items were plated quickly as well as the coffee. The cakes were tasty, not too sweet. You can taste the fruits in the cakes we choose. Service was nice and efficient. It is our go-to dessert usually after dinner at a nearby restaurant.

I recently stopped by Cocola Bakery at Santana Row and was genuinely impressed. Their strawberry croissant is exceptional — beautifully flaky, golden layers with a real fruit flavor that tastes fresh, not overly sweet. The balance between buttery pastry and light strawberry filling is perfect. The café itself feels elegant and relaxed, with friendly service and a nice spot to sit and enjoy coffee. Prices are on the higher side, but the quality easily justifies it. Even as a first-time visitor, it’s clear why this bakery has such a strong reputation. Stopped by Cocola at Santana Row right at opening on a Saturday. No crowd at all, which made it a relaxing start to the day. I got a hot mocha, the flavor was average, but the portion size was generous and the price surprisingly affordable for Santana Row. Tried the mushroom croissant and was really pleased. it had a nice savory umami flavor. Also had a pistachio croissant, which was decent but tasted like it wasn’t made fresh that morning. Pastries are on the pricier side and the quality is average. Service was fast and the baristas were friendly. Outdoor seating was lovely, and there’s plenty of parking, but it’s only free for the first two hours.

Cocola is one of my favorite spots at Santana Row for great desserts and coffee. The atmosphere in the evening is perfect — relaxing outside with a drink while enjoying all the activity around the Row. I especially love their Chai Latte, and the desserts are always delicious. The coconut macaroon and croissants especially. The only downside is that the staff (not all, just a couple) can be a bit stand offish sometimes, but overall it’s still a great place to unwind and enjoy the vibe while people watching.

Bought a vanilla napoleon and an iced latte. Both are very delicious 😋 The filling for the vanilla napoleon is more like an iced custard texture, I really like it!

We searched up a nearby cafe after visiting a car dealership nearby and found Bibi's. We opted for the hazelnut mousse cake and a pair of double espressos. The cake was disappointed us as it was missing semblance of hazelnuts. As our visit happened on a very gusty/rainy day the windows and doors of the shop were closed. Perhaps this is why there was a strong odor of cooking oil or something burnt instead of coffee or the sweet smell of baking when we arrived after lunch. I was really impressed with the shelves of assorted cookies and baked savory treats alongside the case of cakes. (so much labor to make so many varieties and seasonal Shamrock cookies for March) I can see why this is a go-to bakery for many in the neighborhood.

One of my favorite independent coffee and bakery shops, when I lived in silicon valley. Wake up early on the weekends, and walk from my house to this little coffee and bakery shop. Back then it was called "Bijans". Neighbors and friends would meet and we would talk and enjoy and drink coffees from all around the world. Turkish, Vietnamese, Ethiopian, Salvadorian, Brazilian and Kona. Very little has changed, new owner, Bakery goods with recipes from Europe, the mid-east and the U.S. On this day we had an eclair, tiramisu and raspberry cheesecake. Our drinks included at least 4 Turkish coffees for me and she had a raspberry ice tea. The shop can get very busy, but there is a comfortable patio area.

Wide selection of desserts. Cakes are not too sweet, and they have options for those with special diet preferences like keto and vegan. If they get too busy, have a little patience to wait til you get served, but staff are nice and trying to accommodate everyone. If you are a self entitled customer, maybe not the right place for you. First come, first serve...of course.

I ordered a cake with very clear instructions by using examples of the existing cake in the store. I was given a blank cake and when I told them it was to look like another cake on display they rushed the job and handed it to me. This cake was $130 and I expected it to look like something other than something I could have gotten at Safeway... I called the manager and was brushed off and told to bring it back and have the staff "fix it". I'm never one to complain about anything but this was horrible. I have included pictures for reference of how the decorations and design of the cake should have looked and what I actually received.

Came to know about this bakery via a coworker who brought in a huge mango cake for a party. Visited it today and got their burnt almond cake, Bamieh and Napoleon. They all have rose water in them and the taste is strong. The cream in between the cake layers are light, smooth and have the right amount of sweetness. Will be coming back for their whole cakes!

This is a great place for coffee and sharing your favorite desserts. Our friend could not have sweets so he opted for a Turkish coffee and we chose various treats for the table and take home. The decaf latte was out first, it was great with the raisin cookies (perfectly crisp and chewy at the same time) and pear almond tart (great almond flavor). The Turkish coffee was a fun taste, the coffee grinds at the bottom reminded me of "cowboy coffee." We took home a box of mixed cookies for one household as well as a small fruit tart for another household. There are tables outside and a couple inside to enjoy your treats. Service is friendly and efficient.

This place genuinely. I have no words. I was hesitant as a college student at first to spend a little extra on breakfast, but once the food arrived LO BEHOLD my eyes and tastebuds were blessed with the most perfectly cooked and plated crepe. I did also get the fruit bowl on the side, which added a nice pop of flavor to the meal. Not long of a wait at all either, it took them like 5mins to show up with my food so that was great. This place is awesome - totally coming back :)

The A La Jack was tasty but had way too much garlic and onions to the point it was most of the filling. The house potato also lacked crisp and there was a bit too much of a tart flavor. The Whisper sweet crepe was good no complaints. Drip coffee tasted a bit burnt. Music at the restaurant was great though!

The sugar flour didn’t taste good at all. It felt overly sweet without balancing the flavors, and the texture wasn’t as light or airy as I expected. It didn’t quite live up to the standards I was hoping for, especially given the reputation. Service: The service was disappointing. The staff were rude, and I felt like my questions and requests were met with indifference. It was clear they didn’t prioritize customer service, which made the visit feel uncomfortable. Ambience: The ambience was decent. It was a nice space with a simple, cozy feel to it, though nothing about the environment stood out as exceptional. It made for an okay spot to enjoy a bite, but it didn’t have that special, inviting atmosphere I was hoping for. Overall, Flower Flour has room for improvement. The food wasn’t up to par, the service was lacking, and while the ambience was decent, it didn’t quite make up for the other shortcomings. Bad apple strudel, I don't know what's in there but I puked right after, I had to eat something else to cover the stale and artificial taste. The pastry was so dry and stale. The shop itself looks like they are better with cake so I made the terrible mistake choosing the worst item. Their chocolate cookies are nice and moist but honestly this apple strudel was not eatable and ruin my whole impression of this place. I had to toss it which is such as waste of food and money.

The $55 burnt almond cake (BAC) was made with tons of sour cream frosting and sour cream filling. The cake part was totally bland. Not sweet, not vanilla and not almond. The almond "crust" was not toasted either. Together, it was so disgusting that a couple people spit it out! So embarrassing as the host. Others ate some almonds and the cake part to be polite. Very disappointed.

Stopped at this shop for coffee since they have illy stickers on their windows. The coffee itself was ok, however the preparation was very deficient. The latte I ordered was not only scolding hot but if anything it should've been called a very foamy cappuccino. Also, we were given paper to-go cups when we were dine in customers. Didn't get their desserts, but as far as coffee of much rather go to someone with more experience and knowledge.

This place is a great bakery, but also serves a decent coffee. I love the pruneyard square where this is located, one of the number of places to hang out while in this area. They have a great selection of cakes, and regular pastries as well. My guilty favorite here is their peanut butter cookie 🤣. The owner is always happy to see customers she recognizes and is very welcoming 🙏

My friend gave me cinnamon rolls which were quite delicious, so I came to this bakery to buy them. Cinnamon one still is my favorite! Almond pie , blueberry scones are both good too . Counter young boy recommends the Mexican wedding cookie , that was the best one I have ever had. Price is higher but size is bigger .

Strange experience. The girl at the counter was having a verbal showdown with the lady in front of us. I knew they didn’t do samples but I can’t believe you can’t even get 2 different scoops of ice scream put on one cup even if I ordered 2 different favors. (Not being able to mix and match is like 2/5 stars in my opinion.) But I was flabbergasted that the icecream itself that was like 9 dollars is so bad. I got blood orange and pomegranate. I tasted no pomegranate and the orange flavor was extremely weak. Cute exterior but I would never come back.

Customer service is rough. They also don’t always get your order right. The ice cream itself is pretty good though. What really annoyed me was that they give you half a teaspoon of sprinkles for an additional 1.50. Like seriously? Not smitten.

This was my first time visiting this ice cream shop, and it was such a great experience! The glass panels really brighten the atmosphere, adding a nice touch. I was helped by an employee named Toby—he was a wonderful gentleman with a great smile and a contagious laugh. With so many amazing flavors to choose from, it was hard to decide, but thankfully, Toby’s fantastic recommendations made it easy. This will definitely be my go to sweet treat spot!

Fantastic ice cream here at Smitten! My first impression was that the price point was high, but after tasting the product I can understand why!! So rich, creamy and flavorful. Mix-ins were abundant, too. We tried 4 different flavors and all were excellent. Definitely one of my top 5 favorite ice cream spots 🤩 We came on a Sunday afternoon and enjoyed our treat with live music in the square as well. A fun spot with lots to walk around and see!

I had my first experience at Smitten Ice Cream and I’m hooked. They make your ice cream fresh to order, so it’s incredibly creamy and smooth. I tried the birthday cake flavor, and it tasted just like the real thing. The staff is super friendly and takes the time to explain the ice cream-making process, which adds a personal touch. The shop itself is small but beautifully designed, with a cozy, minimalist vibe.

Not smitten. Ice cream is decent. No samples. Also two scoops, 1 flavor. No mixing different flavors. 3 scoops? $12 and still no mixing flavors. All has to be the same. The scoops aren’t generous either. Toppings $1.50 each and customer service isn’t the best.

I popped in late at night after a workout, and despite the hour, the staff were super friendly and attentive. One of the employees recommended the Dark Night milkshake, and I decided to add protein powder to it—perfect for a post-workout treat! The shake was rich, flavorful, and exactly what I needed. The ambiance was great too, with a relaxed, welcoming vibe that made it a perfect spot to unwind. Are milkshakes only for children? That’s what you’d think if you came here. All the choices on the menu have childish names. The milkshakes themselves are not bad. They are quite reasonable. However, this is not a place where you can sit and drink, and outside there are also no seating options. It seems this is a place exclusive to order through your favorite food delivery app. Overall, there is potential. Good product, but poorly presented.

Dark Knight doesn't have hints of dark chocolate OR cheesecake. It's an overpriced Denny's Cookies and Creme milkshake with a 20 minute wait time. Couldn't even order sides of fries since their fryer was off. $16 is criminal..

Went to visit this place with my family and they were so helpful! The staff were so nice and patient while we figured out what shakes we wanted to make. Once we placed our order all our shakes came out really quick. Our shakes came out great! One note: if you really like candy chunks in your shakes, this might not be the place. The milkshakes were so smooth all of the flavors were entirely incorporated and you barely noticed the candy pieces (unless it had a really distinctive flavor). Would absolutely recommend and look forward to when we can come back again.

Milkshake was good and service was kind and did their job well. 5 stars for the workers. Unfortunately, the vibe hasn't changed much over the years the place gives me "millennial cringe" with its reliance on candy/cereal/geek culture. It's about $10+ for a milkshake, which is competitive, but I'm not sure if I'll be back for more.

I purchased a cake from your store for a family birthday celebration, but unfortunately, I discovered mold on the strawberries when I opened the box. This was very upsetting, especially since it was meant for a special occasion. I’ve attached a photo of the mold for your reference. I would appreciate it if you could issue a refund for this purchase and take steps to ensure this does not happen again.I expect your improvement.

The quality of the sweets, cakes, and other items at this location is noticeably lower than at other Paris Baguette branches. The taste has changed, and it seems like there may have been a change in ownership or management.

Service was kinda cold, we got the chicken pesto along with a couple croissants and other pastries to try. The cashier appeared to be surprised when we asked to warm up the sandwich. Croissants were flaky and yummy, my husband loved the pecan pastry which was just right, not overwhelmingly sweet like the typical pecan pie

One thing I appreciate about Paris baguette compared to other Asian bakeries is that they have boxes at the beginning where you can put all the items in you want to purchase versus having a bunch of plastic bags. Everything we bought was just okay. Not bad but not great. Most of the pastry items had no sign so we didn't even know what we bought. We didn't get a cake but the cakes looked incredible!

First off this is not a bakery trying to be French! This is a Japanese/Korean style bakery. Look around you, do you get the impression this is an Asian speciality shopping area? 😏(this is responding to a negative review.) Now, if you like Japanese style bakery goods you will love this. Everything we bought and gobbled up, we loved. Very authentic. The coffee is bad and the barista embarrassingly slow but the bakery goods are awesome. Get your coffee situation figured out and you will get 5 stars all day long! Also, the place is not very clean. If you are trying to be Japanese/Korean you will need to up your cleanliness game!

The fudge in peppermint fudge ripple is literally only on the side of tub. There's barely anything in the icecream. They have intentionally made it look like your getting fudge but instead your not. This isn't right. all the other icecream is amazing but this one is disappointing

Come here twicd a month for the kids. Wife and sister in law love the milk shake but how can you be out of milk litterally 7 out of the last 10 times we've came. Sometimes there's only one person but you're litterally 12 steps away from the Luckys. Something that can be bought before opening. Last time they were out of bananas for a bananas split for the person in front of me . Unacceptable and hard to rate this any higher due to the inconsistency for being out of basic stuff. You can't even call them as they usually have no one to pick up the phone

Last 2 times we have come and there's is only 1 employee running the shop. Wait time was close to an hour even though it's not that full. Ice cream is good but not worth the wait

Long line was an indication of the goodness to come. We weren't disappointed! Friendly staff in spite of the line leading to the door... just taking care of one customer at a time. The quality of the ice cream was very good. My only challenge was the lower scoop melted faster than I could eat it...probably my fault. We've been here before and for those special occasions when we're in the neighborhood we'll likely return. By the way, the photo is a Small (2 scoops). Yowza!

The mini cup size is anything but mini! Mango is my favorite flavor, it has real chunks of mango in it. If you can't decide what to have, ask for samples 😊 Love this place. Always worth the wait!

Dessert is mandatory when at a food hall add this place looked great. We got a scoop of stroop waffle and a scoop of horchata with toppings of waffle bits, condensed milk, and caramel sauce. I loved the horchata. The stroop waffle pieces were great, but the ice cream base was kind of plain. I don't know that the sauce toppings were worth it because you didn't get much. My biggest complaint was the ordering process. If you wanted to pay with credit card, you had to use the tablet to order, but it was not up to date. All of the flavors were wrong and it didn't have the right prices for toppings. The person working there helped us work around it, but I think they should either update it or just get a credit card reader. Overall, it was a good spot for ice cream, just not a great process to pay!

This cute gold-colored ice cream truck is located in the San Pedro Square Market. They offer a selection of ice cream and sorbet. I tried the Maple Pecan Praline. Oh my goodness, it was the best ice cream I’ve ever tasted. It reminded me of a butter pecan, only sweeter and next level. My only regret is not ordering more while I was in San Jose.

This ice cream place is just inside one of the entrances of the San Pedro square market. I felt that the price is a little bit higher than other ice cream places/trucks that I have been. I tried out a single scoop of Mexican hot chocolate with marshmallow puff as our topping. The cinnamon flavor in the ice cream was a little too much for my taste. However, I'm going to try out the other flavors soon when I'm in the area.

The ice cream here was wonderful. It's got a nice creamy texture with enough firmness that it doesn't melt right away. Taste was great too, especially with all the toppings. Gotta come back to try the other flavors

Their ice cream is so good! Happened to walk by it and I had to try it since I am an ice cream lover and we don't have one of these where I live. I loved all the flavors I tried but went with mango and I'm still thinking about that ice cream! Next time I am in Concord I am definitely going to find this place again!

Big fat delicious cookies! The smore cookie is one of my favorites. The peanut butter with Reese's Peanut Butter Cup chunks is a close second! The one item that I got that I did not care for was the Smorcon. It was basically a smores with bacon on top. Problem was that the marshmallow was way too big and when you tried to bite it the thin coating of chocolate on the entire thing just crumbled into your hands. Good idea, bad execution. Everything else, amazing!

Tried the key lime tart, got a tart full of wiped cream and a gummy lime on top. Really bad experience. The chocolate tarts are also not good. The chocolate is too sweet and greasy. The lemon tart is actually good, but nothing extraordinary.

Cappuccino is burning hit and tasteless. A lot of desserts but lime tart is flat and boring.

The desserts were quite rich, so go easy on them. They were very tasty. I'd give them extra credit for their creativity. A lot of the options were things that I haven't seen elsewhere. For example, the marshmallow treat with wafers inside gave it a nice unexpected crunch.

Chocatoo was awesome. We got their mnm cookie and my kids and I loved it! We also got chocolate lava cakes to have at a bridal shower and they are AMAZING. Everyone was super helpful and very responsive. So glad I went to them! The location is a bit crowded but that's not their fault and even with the crowd they were pretty efficient about the line.

Their truffles and home made desert cakes are yummy. Their coffee is nothing special and just ok. Get ready to spend quite a bit of money here. Great vibes if you enjoy the food inside San Pedro market.

The juices are super fresh and delicious! There is also a mini bar to try out different flavors. The location is good which is very close to the parking lot at Santana Row. It would be great if the staff are more friendly with smiles :)

We go to pressed at least once a month, since we do not live close to any. I love pressed. However, out of all the stores, we have been to, this is my least fav. I was expecting better service and quality since they are on Santana Row. Still tastes good just not what I expected from them.

I placed an online order, received confirmation that it was ready arrived and still had to wait a really long time to get my order - it was not in fact ready. The gal went to the back and was gone for what seemed 20 minutes. Several people stopped in and left during this time because they weren't being helped. Another person asked me what I'd ordered that was taking so long. To be clear the associate who was helping was very pleasant and doing her very best so the lack of support is on store management. This happened on a sunny Sunday so naturally more people were popping in.

I went to pressed juicery to pickup some avocado smoothies to drink after my implant. I forgot my small purse and they kept it for me. The juice is Healthy and delicious. And the people working at the store are courteous and always smiling. Great service.

Had a really long wait as there was only one worker taking orders and often seems to be the case but I can’t complain about the quality of service and product. Got my juice and some samples and was on my way. I especially appreciate that I’m able to bring my dog in with me to order :)

Customer experience was poor. The gal was rude, short, and impersonal. Questions about size and how the toppings worked irritated her and she was snappy and gave half answers. For the price of these products, the service needs to be commensurate.

If you don’t know what Bundt cakes are or haven’t tried one, you’re missing out! Friendly & professional service. They’re very popular so it was jammed packed inside but they move quickly. Adorable knickknacks for funny or celebratory occasions. You can choose a wide variety of occasions that they’ll customize your cake for: gender reveals, birthdays, anniversary’s, etc. Over the years, I have received many large size Bundt cakes as my bday cake. They have seasonal flavors that are promoted for short stints but always carry the classic flavors. To my surprise, I was gifted the insulated bag to carry my 4 cakes which was a sweet little bonus.

The most ridiculous rule ever. I came in to the Meridian store w/my striped NBC insulated bag to redeem my cupcakes. I asked about the Buy 5, Get 1 Free as the previous associate told me the last two times I did this. He said NOTHING about the size of the bag would dictate how many cupcakes (promo) you could get. Each time I came in any signage claiming such was faced down and the bag was selected for me. I go in 8/26 just before closing and the associate tells me I am not entitled to the 5 for 1 because that is a different, allegedly bigger bag. She then said another female customer had the same striped one as I sdid and couldn’t fit the four + 1 free. I asked for the bigger bag which she brings out to compare side by side with mine. Same exact dimensions! At the end of the transaction the goal post had moved and it was now “the bag must be able to fully zip up.” For the record, there was enough room for that 6th bundtlet and for it to zip up. If you give a customer several reasons during the course of your transaction-them the “rule” is seriously flawed. Sadly, the store manager or owner was present during this entire time but didn’t feel it necessary to intervene and standby this ludicrous and seemingly arbitrary “rule.” You may want to try a more hoest store.

Because I am Asian, I don't like cakes that are too sweet. But this cake is so delicious, not as sweet as other cakes, the sponge cake has a unique texture !

This was a horrible experience I called the store and it was the wrong store. Usually the people say what the location is but they did not. I ended up ordering from the wrong location. When I called and asked to speak to the manager the person that was the lead said that he was the manger.I came to find out he was just a lead. So I called back and tried to get the number of the person in charge to get the refund and was told that they did they don't have a manager and said that he could not give me a refund because he's not allowed and that I shouldn't ask the manager because he's just going to do the same thing. I called back and Ramos answered and I wasI was told two different stories about management. I asked when is the next time they would be there and he said he did not know.Then between the whole thing he said he was a veteran did not know I was in the army as well. I don't know why my army status was even brought up it was crazy. All of this because they did not verify what the store location was when I called and asked. I was lied to multiple times and did not get the cake because I'm a hour away. When I just needed a refund. They were very unprofessional a rude and lied for no reason. Then between the whole thing he said he was a veteran did not know I was in the army as well This is one of the worst stores not because of the food I did t even get my cake but the unwillingness and lack of guidance from the staff.

I went in this past Sunday and the store was busy but I was helped fast. Unfortunately I didn't check my order before I left. The staff insured me to be very careful to keep the boxes flat and I was very mindful and kept my boxes flat when I got to my grandmother's party I opened the boxes and all the cupcakes were upside down on their sides something that could not have happened under my care of these cupcakes as I was extremely careful with them. after calling to try to get compensation from the store I was treated as if the mistake was on my end there was no trust there I was told I would have to bring back across town the cakes to show proof very very poor business as a consumer I would never go back to this place and if you do go make sure to check your boxes before you leave the office

Cakes/products are worth 4-5 stars - consistently great flavors, and convenient for individual cakes for small groups. This locations customer service is what deserves 1 star at most. Manager could use a phone etiquette crash course, as well as how to reconcile an error made by employees on an order. In the end a store credit was offered due to error, but got the run around after calling 4 days (inability to leave a voicemail and automated message system states shop is closed during business hours) in a row and sending an email regarding the error. Initially when I called today, someone answered right away, then said "Hold" placed me on hold, then disconnected the call. Great cakes but recommend going to another location.

Variety of flavors including not sugar ones. Different sizes options. Desserts. Acoge and tea. 1020 is my favorite. People is super nice. They give you a small ball of another flavor with the one you ask.

I had a coupon for a free kids scoop sitting in my wallet for a while. Owner gave it to me when she came into my store and bought a cute ice cream ornament... Let me just say, this pomegranate sorbet is fricken bomb. Glad I came in, will definitely come back because the flavor is incredible!

DELICIOUS ice creams!!! They serve Local California brand which is really hard to get otherwise! Really good flavors and great cream, milk flavor. Also love that they have Persian ice creams and sorbets, and hot tea! Great place for all the generations to come together to hang out or get ice cream to-go.

So this place is great. The collection of ice cream and sherbets are special. There are special blends of Persian, Asian and other delicious fruit flavors (52 was the number if I remember correctly). The gals were friendly and helpful. Tasting is not allowed, not sure why. This place is a hit. Definitely check it out!

Enjoy the interior seating for clientele. Good unique range of ice cream flavours. Various serving portions in cup or cone, with each having a mini scoop added on top. 😁 Ice cream and dessert freezer cases offer take out purchases. Went to the store at 9:45 today, 3/13/25. The website says they close at 10 pm. The open sign was on, and the door unlocked. When I walked in, the employee working there said, "Ahh, we are closed, I am the only one working," very abruptly and rude. Drove all the way there for nothing... if you want ice cream from here, everyone, make sure to get there at least an hour before closing

okay for a scoop of ice cream, but don't order anything custom. it will probably be made wrong and most of the employees are either rude and/or do not know how to take an order. Latest example, I went in to order a simple polar pizza and the lady could not even find the order form I had to point it out to her. and then tried to call multiple times to check it was done... no answer just rings then disconnects. I have been here dozens of times over the years with my kids and will not ever go here again.

Stopped by to get a small sweet cold brew for $2! Then the lady said can u show me ? So I did, then she says we do them but not right now just sometimes . After few mins of bk n forth I said you dont do it or you dont know how ? I said can u just scan the cup and check if it scans $2 ? She did and it scanned $2! Ok great except she doesnt know how to make a cold brew !!!!!!! Come on she lied multiple times instead of just figuring it out and helping . I had to guide her !!!!!!!!!!

I come here for my kids' birthday ice cream cakes. Service is good. If you need to have custom cakes it's best to go in and look at the book because some of the cakes might not be available on line. This happened to me but it was fine and the lady was really nice.

Service Sucked! Went in there with the most rude staff.. one even rolled her eyes and gave major attitude. Went in for my faves an got nothing but a tease! Paid for 2 regular ADULT scoops and received 1/2 scoop w 1/4 scoop. I like this place more than the ones near Almaden area because there's more variety of cones you can choose from and there's a stand that sells candles. I saw three or four people from door dash there, so you can also door dash this place too.

The ice cream is alright, but it's quite expensive. The service seems fine, although everyone appears like they'd prefer to be elsewhere if they had the choice. My boyfriend and I visited the shop to buy an ice cream cake for her brother's graduation BBQ. Ice cream cakes are delicious. The girl behind the counter looked really young, maybe around thirteen. We asked for the cake to be decorated in blue and maroon, which were the college colors of her brother's graduation. Here comes the funny part. Since we have a good sense of humor, we were okay with having the situation fixed and would have even shared a laugh about it. At the very least, admitting the mistake and offering a decent discount would have been appreciated. The woman didn't even know what color maroon was. They didn't provide any suitable alternatives or a significant discount for their mistake. We ended up paying the full price (literally).

The employees who made our beverages were polite and great but the Store and the store system is horrible and now on I will never go to this Baskin-Robbins. The store system does not accept any kind of promo or discount coupons while the same are accepted at any other Baskin-Robbins.

I stopped by here because I didn't want to go to the golden arches or the guy called Jack. Plus they're always open. I ordered the bagel breakfast sausage sandwich and a glaze donut. I thought the bagel would be freshly baked. It was hard but the rest of the sandwich was edible. The donut was a let down too. I can't remember when I last ate donuts. So of course, I wanted to savor every bite. It wasn't pillowy soft and it was actually dry. The moment was short lived! Lol

I'm typically stopping in here to buy a couple of dozen to keep the office staff happy. Never fails. Short lines, if any, and I'm out of there quickly with zero hassle. Not to mention that I'm a fan of the donuts too.

My wife and I had our wedding reception in October 2017 and went to all the known donut shops in the San Jose area to find the right donut. Yum Yum was our preference because their dough was more flavorful, consistent, and less greasy. They also had two unique flavors for Halloween that were lime and orange; sounds odd, but they worked really well. Yum Yum made 120 plus donuts to accommodate us. They were made the day of and everyone loved the idea, taste, and flavor options. Rose Café had the big donut for our top tier(little dry), but everything below was the highly complemented product of Yum Yum. Having moved out of state, we would advise you visit this classic strip mall shop to see the flavor du mois(they seem to change month by month) and support these friendly, caring, and creative people. Please tip a dollar more than you think is necessary because they deserve it.

Blosson Hill yum yums ...BEWARE THE CREAM FILLING IS BAD AS IN YOU CAN PROBABLY GET SICK FROM IT!This is my updated review. Under new managment so I thought maybe they got better? They are worse! I ordered the cream puffs so hard and stale and the cream filling was so old...IT HAD A SOUR TASTE TO IT! I thought maybe its just a bad one, nope the second one was even worse! People, for your own safety and to avoid possible food poisoning or getting sick STAY AWAY . I did go back and get my money and the lady looked at me like I was lying. I should of made her eat one so she knew I was not lying. The Meridian one is so much better and fresher! This place is literally the worst shop I ever been too. My previous review was not a good one either. Lesson Learned

Terrible experience, I don’t recommend at all. Staff is worst. He allowed only 2 flavors to taste even if we want to buy 3 quarts. And this employee is the worst I ever seen, he is saying he can’t give spoons to eat. He is saying he don’t care about anything, I don’t know he is boss or what, such a worst experience with baskin robins. We went at 5 PM on April 8th We end up getting only 1 quart with that guys behavior. I hope he or his boss don’t want business to run smoothly. I would give zero star.

This place has a nice ambiance and the seating arrangement is good. Lots of flavours to choose from and the staff is nice and friendly. We ordered hot brownie sunday and kids had cotton candy in kid size scoop. I love their kids size scoop, it makes the kids eat enough and not too much. They have wonderful cakes too. Will try these ice cream cakes next time. They look delicious.

I went it with the idea of getting two scoops of ice cream after a loooooongggg time since I started dieting. 4 flavors of ice cream caught my attention so I asked the person at the counters to give me samples for 3 of them and when I asked for the 4th. He started being rude which isn’t necessary for just a tiny spoon sample and told that he isn’t willing to give any more samples. I told him that I was thinking like this but he was just replying rudely by telling me that he will give one more sample next time. Like Broooo! I don’t know what’s your idea of doing business. It felt like he isn’t interested in selling ice cream at all. Good thing, shut it down. I walked out with a scoop of nutty coconut. The ice cream was good but the experience with this seller wasn’t. Thank you for ruining my mood.

Their ice cream cakes look very nice and taste good. My daughter's birthday party schedule had to change and with their help the cake came right on time! She loved it so much.

Extremely disappointed in the management/employees for only allowing two flavour testing. How is one supposed to decide and enjoy the flavour, they weren't even good scoops only half the spoon. Customer service is how you gain and retain customers. Definitely not buying Baskin-Robbins even as a last resort for an ice cream shop. Two flavours?? I chose to buy ice cream from here for the first time after studying abroad and now I never wanna bother with this kind of service. I'm better off buying ice cream at cold stone or salt and straw.

Real friendly service with the selection of treats you expect from a Ben & Jerry's. Big downside for when we visited was that there was only one guy working there, despite it being a hot convention weekend in San Jose, so there eventually was a big line that formed after we got there. If you don't mind waiting and want a nice chilly treat on a sunny San Jose day downtown, can't go wrong with Ben & Jerry's ice cream!

The people who work here are nice. I don't like the ice cream, but I love their cookies and brownies. The cookies used to be bigger, but someone decided to make them smaller. I tried to buy the dough, but they don't sell it. Pitty.

I ordered a chocolate Toffee shake and was told they don't have any of the flavors on "that side" of the board (that was being advertised). She was very friendly and help with what she had. It is not fault of the employees that management can not supply product.

Below average ice cream parlor. This place is so small that the variety/selection is not impressive.

I recently visited Cauldron Ice Cream in San Jose, and it was definitely a unique experience. The preparation process for the ice cream is unlike anything I've seen before – they make it fresh using liquid nitrogen, which creates this cool, smoky effect as they mix everything together. It's fun to watch, but it can take some time for them to prepare your order, so be prepared to wait a little longer than usual. The ice cream itself is delicious, but a bit on the pricier side. I was hoping to try their famous puffle (a kind of waffle cone), but unfortunately, they were out of it during my visit, which was a bummer. Even though I didn't get to try the puffle, the experience of watching them make the ice cream and trying the different flavors was still cool. That said, the staff wasn't particularly friendly. I was hoping for a warmer, more welcoming vibe, but they seemed a bit rushed and distant. Overall, though, the unique ice cream-making process and the flavors make Cauldron Ice Cream worth checking out, even if the service could use a little improvement.

The place is clean, ordering is fast and efficient, and the food is presented beautifully. The workers are quick at preparing the food, and the overall vibe is great. I ordered the salted caramel on a puffle, but my issue was that the only salt came from the two pretzels on top. The caramel was just on the surface of the flower-shaped, tasteless ice cream. Once I removed the pretzels and the small drops of caramel sauce, there was no real flavor—it felt like a blended ice cream reshaped into a decorative flower by the worker. It felt like a waste of money because I was there for the taste. At $12, I barely enjoyed it. I wish I could get a refund.

Food: We got the earl gray lavender flavor with original puffles. We got the ice cream regular hardness and it’s very creamy and flavorful! The puffles is not chewy as expected like a mochi but it still tastes good. Would definitely want to come again and try more flavors! Service: the owner/staff is very welcoming and helpful. My friend wanted a softer texture so he made it that way and he also came and check out whether it’s good for him and Ben offer to make it again if he’d like it a harder texture. Haven’t seen people who enjoy the job and being so attentive for a long time! Ambiance: bright and casual. Good hangout place with friends!
