Located in picturesque Metung, it's considered a hidden gem offering a large selection of sweet treats and savory options like rice paper rolls and Banh Mis.
First time customer and tried the beef and jalapeño pie and OMG it was great and the custard tart was up there with the best I’ve had. Lovely staff and a great part of the world. I’ll be back 😀

Pies, sausage rolls and cakes are all amazing!!!!! We came for three times during our stay in Metung. The coffee cake is the must-try! My partner prefer the cheesecake and lamington. I can’t explain how much I love the food here, also grab some cakes to bring back to Melbourne today. Staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. Definitely will come back next holiday.

I am surprised that they have Asian style roast pork. As my wife is lactose intolerant, they custom-made a roast pork sandwich with special sauce, and it end up to be the best sandwich we had during our 2-week trip. The roast pork is tasty and tender while the pork skin is yummy crunchy ! And we have the wonderful coffee to go with.
Chin T — Google review
Tried something different for lunch today and wasn’t disappointed. Lan whipped up a batch of High Protein Bagels today and they are delicious. I had mine toasted with tuna, cheese and mayo to try and be a little healthy. It was absolutely delicious.
Sheree M — Google review
Bought take away lunch here twice recently. Wide selection of pastries, cakes, rolls and Banh Mi. Friendly and quick service. Both the chicken and pork rice paper rolls were fresh but tasted slightly bland. Pie and pasty good. Vanilla slice and brownie were yummy!

Super friendly staff. Great coffee. Reasonable prices. Love it. No card surcharge, weekend surcharge. Biscoff cheese cake is delicious

Very helpful friendly staff. Our chicken rice paper rolls were tasty. The apple cinnamon muffin was the best we have had in quite a while! Yummm

Bakery
Pandesal Bakery in Meeniyan is a popular spot known for its fresh and filling sandwiches, sliders, and delicious pies. The bakery also offers an array of tempting desserts including eclairs, custard tarts, and the highly recommended Opera. Visitors rave about the quality of their coffee and iced coffees, often described as the best in town. The bakery's bread, particularly the baguette, is highly praised for its taste.
Delicious Delights Everywhere You Look. Great indoor and outdoor seating. Breakfast lunch really good coffee ☕️ too. Bread is fantastic 💯 Eat while you are there and them take some treats home! Pies are also tasty and pastry just right. Will be back & back again. One of the best bakeries in South Gippsland.
Vicki H — Google review
We decided to eat here because it has a name "Pandesal Bakery", however they don't make the pandesal bread at all (purchased from the previous owner). Just a typical cafe bakery good coffee and croissants. Recommend you either change the business name or add pandasal bread to your offering.
Patrick Z — Google review
My boys and I ducked into the bakery on a lovely ride to Leongatha to Meenyan. It was a beautiful ride but the worst but were the pies. They had almost no meat and in the words of my son it giggles like it’s just Jelly. The price was fair but the pie was maybe the worst bakery pie I have ever had.
Bob S — Google review
Service was very slow and the food was cold and soggy (we ended up taking one bite of the sausage roll and tossed it out). Couple of the staff members were also quite cold in manner. It seemed like such a chore for them to clean up 2 coffee cups, a small dessert plate and a single napkin left by the people before us. Also God forbid asking for tap water, otherwise you’ll be met with a condescending tone and an RBF to match. Admittedly I will award points for the good coffee and the decent cold pastry/desserts. The decor is nice and clearly thought through and the little table in the middle with a variety of local jams and packed desserts was a nice country touch. I ended up buying 3 jars of boysenberry jam. I see a lot of reviews here speaking extremely highly of this place but I would take that as a grain of salt to be honest. If you’re a city-slicker just passing though this town then you really don’t have much choice as their aren’t many other available options. Just cross your fingers and hope there are less than 3 customers in the store otherwise the young ladies running the floor might crumble under the “pressure”.

Stopped in for Coffee and Breaky before heading off. Kids had a mix of Pies and Sausage Rolls wife and I grabbed a coffee. Allround great stop awesome food place must get busy as it was packed with fresh rolls and salads along with the great out bakery selections. Aww and cant forget the unreal looking Hedgehog slice!!
Jimmy W — Google review
Had a mushroom pie and a vanilla slice. The pie had nice pastry and flavour although could have a little more mushroom. The vanilla slice was magnificent, good vanilla flavour, crisp pastry with icing sugar. Definitely worth a visit.
Andrew 6 — Google review
The cauliflower and broccoli pie was phenomenal! Perfectly cooked and filled to the top. I have frequented many bakeries over my 20 years of life and this takes the cake.
Taj J — Google review
Customer service at Pandesal Bakery is just as excellent as the food! Everything was incredibly fresh and delicious. The bakery section was closed when we arrived, but the staff kindly opened it just for us, such a thoughtful gesture. I highly recommend Pandesal Bakery!

They also cater to diverse dietary needs by offering delicious dairy-free options alongside their creamy creations. But that's not all! Wow, Flatout, over 32 different flavours of icecreams, it was so busy, but the organised owners were very sufficient as to serving everyone with barely any wait time. A long day at the beach an ice cream is a must. It is a must do in Lake entrance. Been a thing to do for as long as I can remember. It was to shut at 6pm and when I drove past at 7.30 still alot of people and busy. I loved the blood orange yummy. Lovely people. Great job guys
Katrina J — Google review
Can get quite busy but the wait wasn't long. The staff are generally nice and helpful. We tried multiple ice cream flavours, they were ok but not as good as other gelato and ice cream shops we have tried, still nice on a hot day. Very limited seating inside, mostly for waiting
Hashim F — Google review
The place you can go to, for ice creams and milk shakes while at Lakes Entrance. Parking slots are available right in front of the store and the location is great. Ice creams are available in a variety of flavours, and the ones we tasted were pretty good.
Saji M — Google review
I've only tried the ice cream here and unfortunately isn't the best. It wasn't creamy at all and had some hard icy bits in it, like it had been in the freezer for years. Also the flavours I had wasn't that great either, not worth the $9.
Al S — Google review
After reading some good reviews online, we headed here after a morning on the beach for a refreshing treat. The ice cream was very grainy (ice crystals) and tasted watery, and lacked flavour. Very disappointing.
Gustav — Google review
Service was great every time we went. Good variety of flavours. And great location near the waterfront. My only complaint was the annoying Asian lady customer who kept breathing down my neck looking at flavours because she couldn't wait 1 minute for our order to be done. PERSONAL SPACE FFS.
Kyle K — Google review
Came in on a recommendation. Tried the black chocolate 70% cocoa ice cream. Probably the best dark chocolate ice cream I’ve ever had.
Maddy — Google review
If you're looking for delicious and refreshing treats in Lakes Entrance, look no further than Riviera Ice Cream Parlour! This delightful little shop is a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm welcome and a wide selection of ice cream flavours to choose from. The staff were friendly and helpful, and they took the time to explain all of the different flavours and options to us. And let me tell you, the ice cream was absolutely delicious! It was creamy and rich, with just the right amount of sweetness. They had all kinds of flavours to choose from, from classic favourites like chocolate and vanilla to more unique options like bubblegum and cotton candy. But it wasn't just the ice cream that made the experience so great. The atmosphere of the shop was delightful, with colourful decor and a fun, playful vibe. It was the perfect place to sit and enjoy our treats on a hot summer day. Overall, I can't recommend Riviera Ice Cream Parlour enough. If you're looking for delicious ice cream and a fun, friendly atmosphere, this is definitely the place to go. The staff are wonderful, the ice cream is delicious, and the whole experience is simply delightful. Five stars all around!

The cafe also serves smoothies, breakfast options like ham and cheese toasties, and freshly squeezed juices. Visitors praise the warm reception and attentive staff, as well as the cozy atmosphere both inside and outside the cafe. The ice cream receives high praise for its flavors such as salty caramel, peanut, macadamia, and honeycomb.
We would have to say that we just had the absolute BEST gelato ever!! Raspberry, mango and dark chocolate (amazing!!) sorbet that delivered in fresh flavour and gorgeous creamy texture, and all dairy free!! Also have to mention the brilliant and friendly service. WE WILL BE BACK 💯
Jasmine A — Google review
Very disappointing gelato ( I wouldn't even call it Instead I would describe it as icecream with very little flavouring) and customer service! I have never heard of an ice-cream or gelato business never offering samples ! The sign on the window says no gelato samples AND no eating gelato on the inside chairs ! After reading that I would have left except we had 3 children waiting for the gelato as promised. The young lady serving us really couldn't be bothered and made no effort at all to even try to be friendly. Not only could we not have samples but she didn't even offer or attempt to take the lid off any of the flavours so we could see them before us ordering, instead she waited until we had all received our gelato and moved away to eat them. At $6 a single and $11 for a double the prices are up there and I would expect a great ,creamy gelato and good customer service but this experience was neither of those things ! After spending significant amount of money for 5 adults and 3 children to have icecream then be told you can't eat it inside or on the outside tables, you instead need to move up the street to a bench seat not undercover ( yes it was beginning to spit rain ) to eat your icecream was very poor and particularly as there were no other customers inside or outside ! I don't usually write anything but good reviews but this disappointing experience was just too much to not let others know.
The L — Google review
Small, but cosy and friendly. Good food, nice coffee.
Graeme D — Google review
Amazing customer service from the lady that served us! She was kind and patient with us as (there was a few of us and we couldn't make our mind 😂) and delivered exceptional service during and after giving us our food 100% would recommend anyone to come 🙂

A great place to stop and enjoy a coffee and slice on my way home today from my favourite garden centre, Greenerlife Inverloch. I've often enjoyed some great treats from their Gelato Bar, too.
Wendy C — Google review
Can someone tell me if this place is open? We were here today because of the inverloch jazz festival at around 1pm and it was closed. We have been here before on Sundays and the place always is closed. If you are open you should update your times on Google.
Nelsue D — Google review
Best ice-cream in Invy - locally made delicious flavours, cones or cups - anything salty is good for me - salty caramel or peanut are great. Jen loves macadamia and honey comb - honestly one scoop is enough. Most importantly this place is clean and well managed. Prices are 3 stars but thats what u expect for the best
Michael K — Google review

Excellent and fast paced staff. Had a good handle on who was next. Never missed a beat. All this despite being well understaffed. Was able to communicate who the next customer should be to the staff that showed up mid-way through without being insulting or belittling, but allowing herself to be understood clearly. Excellent service

I tried an Aussie baked potato from the Traralgon it was great very enjoyable. Got a coffee from the Morwell store, excellent service the coffee was well made, just slightly too hot. I would recommend both stores
Laura D — Google review
Very disappointed. I went with my partner to the shop in Lakes Entrance that recently opened up, since we were curious to try it, and most of the reviews say the ice cream is amazing. It was a huge let down. We tried the boysenberry, liquorice, cookies and cream, pistachio and lemon sorbet. The first three tasted nearly indistinguishable from each other, not much more to them but a taste of vanilla that was too sweet. The pistachio tasted more like almonds and hazelnut, and the lemon had a bad aftertaste. All together, it tasted like the ice creams use poor flavouring when making them, instead of actual ingredients, which I don’t except out of a place that has apparently gotten good reviews on their homemade ice cream. We both would sooner get a box of drumsticks from a supermarket, as it’d be cheaper and have more taste anyway.
Zoe A — Google review
I was excited to find Bows sold licorice ice cream but once I tasted it I was very very disappointed, did not taste at all like licorice, in fact it didn't have much taste at all, I offered it to my dog but he turned his nose up at it. I ended up throwing it in the bin.

I have never seen anyone disrespect their workers as much as they do at bows. This is not the first time I have seen the workers get yelled at by the boss at the front of the store either! A lovely young girl tried to serve me and he yelled at her in the middle of it.. So unprofessional. Other than that, the workers Seem super sweet, food is great and the milkshakes are so good! Great service there. Just dissapointed to see how the boss treats his workers. Please, fix management.
Acacia H — Google review
Ordered coffees. It was the most revolting coffee we've had in a long time. The server completely mixed up the orders of milk and who had decaf. The iced coffee was to have only small amount of soft serve but the cup was nearly completely soft serve which made it a drink to eatinstead of drink. She was rude when asked a question.
Lolly W — Google review
If I could give it 0 stars I would. The staff are horrible - rude and arrogant. There's no excuse for their behaviour especially not to customers and in the workplace... they lack the common decency to treat people with respect. I have met almost all of the staff and only once have a had a pleasant interaction. I love the food here but hate the people. xoxo gossip girl

Recently went to buy an icecream from Bows. The person behind the counter got a icecream cones from below the counter and filled the plastic storage cabinet up with cones. Unfortunately the service person was not wearing protective gloves. As soon as I saw that I declined to purchase any product from Bows. In this day and age I expect that all food suppliers to be Health and Safety conscious. The Owners are responsible for their Staffs training. And should heed to the State's Health and Safety Laws. Especially as Covid 19 is so prevalent.

Delicious ice cream with a great selection of flavours. Loved their birthday cake flavour. Friendly staff, chatted away to my young daughter and were happy to let us taste before we ordered. We holiday regularly here and this was our first visit. Safe to say we'll definitely be back.

This ice cream was amazing. Great variety and reasonable price. Service was quick and helpful and staff let kids try different flavours. Scoops were massively sized which is a rare sight these days. Definitely recommend for anyone in the area.

I have to say this is the worst ice cream shop we have ever been too. Don’t even mention the ice cream flavour is very average. The elderly lady in the shop has no customer service at all!! She does not smile since greeted us and she even showed annoyed face when I asked to have a tasting of one of the flavours! When we asked for extra spoons to share the ice cream, she said every spoon costs extra! When I said could we have the tasting spoons instead? She said those spoons cost her too! Are you serious? I have never been to an ice cream shop that charges on every spoon! That is ridiculous! An ice cream shop especially in this prime location should make customers happy and relaxed, in the totally opposite, I feel quite disgust and not happy after this whole experience! We will never be back.

Great variety of candies and lollies. Delicious ice creams and milk shakes.

Fri 5th Jan 2023. Walked in with my son at 7:45 sharp having checked previously that it was open til 8pm. Sign on the door said ‘open’. Once in we were told by 2 young men that they were closed. I asked why they said “we’re not open til 8pm tonight”. Funny as it seemed they had only just closed the til and it looked like they were still putting the ice cream away. Pathetic service they just wanted to finish early. My 8 year old son was upset. The worst thing is they lied about it.

Trulli Outdoors is a charming spot that offers an authentic taste of Italian cuisine. Run by owners from Puglia, the restaurant serves up delectable dishes, including standout Italian pizza made with high-quality ingredients. The gelato is a must-try and the beer selection is impressive. In addition to the delicious food, the venue itself is beautiful and inviting, making it a great place to dine in or grab takeout.
Trulli serves the best pizza in Victoria, featuring delicious wood-fired pizzas made with local produce. I’ve been coming here for years, and they never disappoint. My favorite is the capricciosa. The outdoor area is dog-friendly, and there’s a cozy fireplace in the winter. If you’re ever in South Gippsland, I highly recommend stopping by for lunch or dinner.

Nice and chill pizza place and, of course, nice pizza. It's a little pricey but it's a nice experience. We also tried the fried mushroom which is quite good, batter feels a little hard but once you bite into it, it's nice contrast with the mushroom texture. Staff were friendly and all smiles :)

Trulli Outdoor is a hidden gem for authentic Italian cuisine! Owned by Italians from Puglia, the food is simply amazing. The true Italian pizza is a standout, made with high-quality ingredients that truly shine. The gelato is a must-try, fresh and delicious every time - vanilla flavour is rich and delicious! The beer selection is great, and the homemade bread and croissants are a delightful touch. The deli section is top-notch, offering sliced prosciutto and a wonderful variety of cheeses. We will definitely be back to savor more of their excellent offerings - everything was simply superb! Great restaurant to stop by if you are going to Wilson’s Promontory or you stay close by!

Surprised to have such authentic Italian pizza here…. Very nice food and chill atmosphere here!
Emi G — Google review
Great place, can be a bit cold in winter if you can't nab a spot by the fire. But the pizza (and salad) makes up for it!
Rhys — Google review
Although we ordered for take away, the venue is so beautiful and the staff so inviting. The pizza we had on two occasions was so good! Coming from an Italian background my expectations can be high but I’d highly rate these guys. Amazing. Nothing to fault

My husband purchased a birthday cake (choc /caramel) from here on a recent trip to Meeyinan. So delicious! Highly recommend as he said the customer service was also top notch. Thank you 💗

Trulli outdoors is "trulli" one of my favourite places to dine. For years I had heard many wonderful things about this stunning restaurant, and upon each visit it has exceeded all the wonderful reviews from friends and family. Always looning forward to the next visit 🤌

Bought a delicious Black Forest cake and everyone at the party commented how good it was. Fast and friendly service. I will be back.

Disappointed and dissatisfied. Was so looking forward to having a cheesecake shop in town but will continue to drive to Pakenham to purchase our cakes in the future. Ordered a cake that I had order previously through the Pakenham store so I knew what I was ordering. Went to pick up from Warragul and what I received was disappointing. It was so much smaller, the writing on top was thick and messy and the overall presentation wasn’t what it should have been. Staff called the manager and I was basically told to bad that’s how it is. Took the almost $90 cake home to celebrate and it was terribly dry and under filled inside. Not happy at all!

Clean, bright store with knowledgeable staff. The young lass with the bright red hair was a delight to deal with. Our cake looked amazing, and tasted even better!

If you haven’t had a cake from the cheesecake shop Warragul, you need to get down and try their delicious range of cakes and goodies. They have top quality staff that help with all your requirements and requests, I can’t recommend this shop highly enough. Every experience I have had has been top quality.

Bought a strawberry glazed cheesecake absolutely revolting! Had an artificial taste ended up throwing it out. Asked staff what the Tortes are like and her response was “ They’re plain” had no people skills whatsoever. I think I’ll drive to Pakenham.

Absolutely horrible experience for me and my daughter. It wasn’t the fact they couldn’t make my cake in time it was the way we were spoken to that was really upsetting. Possibly the rudest woman I have ever encountered
